Sip and other media laid eyes on Husker football in practice for the first time this Fall…what resonated with the crowd?

Early Break – 93.7 The Ticket KNTK · Aug 12, 2026 · 45m

-Sip and media had about 20 minutes to watch a portion of practice yesterday---there were many reports about the running backs, where it

sounds like Mekhi Nelson and Isaiah Mozee have been getting the reps with the first team so far, followed by Jamal Rule…and there was a Tikey

Hayes sighting

-Per Husker Online’s report, new Husker LB Owen Chambliss elicited memories of Carlos Polk with his size and play…that’s quite a comparison

for a 20 minute viewing; did Sip see anything from the QBs at all?
