- 0:01Acts Chapter 7, let us pray our Lord God who reigns on high,
- 0:10thank you Father, for another day to come and worship you in
- 0:15spirit and truth. Lord, we cry out, come, Lord
- 0:19come. We look up and we see our
- 0:23redemption is drawing near. We know that we are closer today
- 0:27than we were yesterday. God, help us to be found with
- 0:32our lamps full. God, I pray you will help us to
- 0:38be bathed in the blood of Jesus Christ.
- 0:44God, I pray that we can stand in your holy presence and be holy
- 0:50just as you are holy. God, I thank you that we are
- 0:56justified and at one with you. God, I pray that we will sink
- 1:05into the reality that our prayers are a pleasing aroma
- 1:10unto you and that we can come to you into the holiest of holy
- 1:15places. God, and make our prayers and
- 1:18supplications known unto you and you answer them.
- 1:24Lord, I pray that we can walk in the Spirit today.
- 1:28God, I pray against discontentment.
- 1:31God, I pray against the schemes of the enemy.
- 1:35God, I pray against the spirit of Mammon and the spirit of
- 1:40delusion. God, I pray that we can have
- 1:43clarity of mind, the mind of Christ.
- 1:46Let us be your hands and feet. Father, we only want you and you
- 1:51alone. Teach us your eternal paths,
- 1:53Holy Spirit. Teach us.
- 1:55Fill us today Holy Spirit, I decrease as you increase.
- 2:00Father, hide me and hide my words and hide my thoughts.
- 2:04God and you have the last say. Let us obey the revealed will of
- 2:11this word. Let us put on the full armor to
- 2:14day and go to war against the enemy and against the Spirit
- 2:22behind all of the evil in this world.
- 2:25God, we wore on our knees. God, we war against all of the
- 2:31darkness in the world. Lord, in the name of Jesus
- 2:34Christ, and by that name only do we come boldly.
- 2:42We stand on truth today. We tell the truth today, we put
- 2:49on righteousness today, the righteousness of Christ, and
- 2:52live the right way that you have mandated for us.
- 2:57God, we remember our salvation story.
- 3:01God, we remember our testimony. Help us to share it with others.
- 3:05We run the race. God telling people of the
- 3:09gospel. I pray for peace today.
- 3:13Lord. Lord, increase our faith and
- 3:16give us the gift of faith today and help us to rightly divide
- 3:20the Word. God, help us to understand these
- 3:24words today. I pray that you are well pleased
- 3:28with the reading of the Scripture today.
- 3:31Lord, I pray that you will give us your doctrine in theology,
- 3:35Father, not man's. Let us receive divine counsel
- 3:39from you today. Father, we love you, Jesus
- 3:42Christ, and it's in your holy and precious name that we pray.
- 3:47Amen. Let's start in verse one then
- 3:54said the high priest are these things.
- 3:57So what things is he talking about?
- 4:02Well, you have to go to the last chapter to understand that
- 4:06Stephen is full of the Holy Ghost and he's arrested on false
- 4:11charges. And the men could not overpower
- 4:15the wisdom that was given to him.
- 4:18And now they've stirred up false witnesses.
- 4:21And here he's brought before the high priest, and the high priest
- 4:25is up to the same garbage again. Verse 2.
- 4:32And he said, men, brothers, fathers, listen, the God of
- 4:43glory appeared unto our father Abraham when he was in
- 4:47Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran.
- 4:53So here Stephen is showing them that their temple means nothing.
- 4:59He's saying, look, you, you're banking on God being here in
- 5:07this only literal geographical place, but you forget that God
- 5:14is over the whole world. The whole earth is the Lord's
- 5:20and everything in it. The people that the beast and
- 5:25all of creation proclaim his name.
- 5:30And Stephen is going to paint a masterpiece to show them that
- 5:36they cannot believe the lie that God is only for the Jews, and
- 5:43that God is only dwelling in the temple, and they go to the
- 5:47temple alone, and that's where God is.
- 5:50He's going to show them that God was in Haran, that God was in
- 5:55Mesopotamia when he called Abraham.
- 5:59He's about to show them the air of their ways. 3 And said unto
- 6:04him, Get you out of your country, and from your kindred,
- 6:10and coming to the land which I shall show you, do you have the
- 6:15wherewithal and the fortitude to first of all hear the voice of
- 6:20God, and second of all, to obey like Abraham did.
- 6:25I pray that as you get into the Word of God and God speaks to
- 6:30you, that you have the wherewithal and fortitude to
- 6:34obey these words and not to discredit and discount and try
- 6:39to water them down for your own selfishness.
- 6:46We need to be found obeying these words just like our father
- 6:51Abraham, the father of faith did.
- 6:57For then came he out of the land of the Chaldeans, and dwelt in
- 7:03Haran, and from there, when his father was dead, he removed him
- 7:09into this land where you now dwell.
- 7:13So Stephen is showing them that God was with Abraham then, and
- 7:19he will be with us no matter where we go.
- 7:23Church is not a building. Church is the people.
- 7:28We are the church friends. Five.
- 7:33And he gave him no inheritance in it.
- 7:36No, not so much as to set his foot on.
- 7:40And yet he promised that he would give it to him for a
- 7:43possession, and to his seed after him, when as yet he had no
- 7:48child, so he was. Abraham was childless and of old
- 7:53age, and his wife Sarah was barren.
- 7:59And God promised that he would not only inherit the promised
- 8:05land, but he would also have descendants more numerous than
- 8:11the stars and the sand on the seashore.
- 8:14And that is you, and that is me. And he can raise up children to
- 8:19Abraham from the Stone's friends.
- 8:24And he's about to Stevens showing them he's taking them
- 8:27through the history that they are already well acquainted
- 8:31with. But he is spinning it in a way
- 8:34that is going to cut them to the heart because they're going to
- 8:37realize that they have done exactly what the Israelites did
- 8:43before they were pushed out in the days of Babylon, when they
- 8:50came against them right before they were sent into captivity.
- 8:55They're going to realize that, and it was a very short amount
- 9:00of time after Jesus died and the early church was birthed, that
- 9:08Rome came in and destroyed the very temple that they're trying
- 9:12to hold on to. And God knows how to get our
- 9:17attention off of this world and onto Him.
- 9:21And it is His business to lead the elect home.
- 9:24And He will use every single measure available and every
- 9:30single thing that is in this world to get our eyes and our
- 9:36minds and our hearts off of the world and onto Him.
- 9:40That is His business and He will make sure that we are sanctified
- 9:46in this little 100 years time. And if you will not make a
- 9:50decision for him in 100 years, you wouldn't do it in 10
- 9:54lifetimes. 6 And God spoke in this way, that his seed should
- 10:05dwell in a strange land, and that they should bring them into
- 10:09bondage and entreat them evil 400 years.
- 10:13So he's talking about the Israelites having to go down
- 10:17into Egypt. 7 In the nation to whom they shall be in bondage, I
- 10:23will judge, said God. And after that they shall come
- 10:28forth and serve me in this place.
- 10:31So he led them, he led Abraham to the Promised Land, but he did
- 10:37not give him any of it. But he told him that in the
- 10:41future they would come back to that place and to the land
- 10:47flowing with milk and honey. And as we get into Genesis later
- 10:52on, we're going to see all these stories play out.
- 10:56But just know that the Jews of this time, the Sanhedrin of this
- 11:00time, the high priest of this time, they were well acquainted
- 11:04with all these stories of how God works and Abraham and Moses.
- 11:14But here Stephen is showing them that they were not looking
- 11:18through the lens of God's heart. And we can do the same.
- 11:22It is not enough to just know Him, we must be known by him.
- 11:27It is not enough to just know the Scriptures.
- 11:30We must know the author of the Scriptures, in the heart of the
- 11:34author of the Scriptures. And he will be well pleased to
- 11:38show us his heart and his mind and his thoughts of all
- 11:43Scripture congruent, working together, Scripture,
- 11:46interpreting Scripture, friends, is what we need.
- 11:50We've got to get out of these little sound bites that are
- 11:55leading us astray. A.
- 11:58And he gave him the covenant of circumcision.
- 12:02And so Abraham had Isaac and circumcised him on the 8th day,
- 12:07And Isaac had Jacob, and Jacob had the 12 patriarchs.
- 12:13So he's showing him that we serve the God of Abraham, Isaac,
- 12:18and Jacob. And if you go back and check the
- 12:21track record, friends, what you're going to find is God is
- 12:25not just hyper fixated upon Israel, they are his peculiar
- 12:32chosen people. Praise God, Hallelujah.
- 12:35Jesus is going to rule and reign from Jerusalem during his
- 12:40thousand year reign. Praise God, Hallelujah.
- 12:43That nation will be preserved until the coming of the Lord
- 12:47Jesus Christ, praise God, Hallelujah.
- 12:50But we need to know that God is for the whole world, and He has
- 12:54a representative from every tribe, language and people
- 12:58group. Praise God, Hallelujah, we love
- 13:03you Lord. 9 And the patriarchs moved with envy.
- 13:09They sold Joseph into Egypt, but God was with him.
- 13:13So God was with him in Haran, and God was with him when he led
- 13:18him into Egypt. God was with him.
- 13:22So imagine what he's trying to tell the high priest and the
- 13:26council there, that God is not just in the temple. 10 and
- 13:33delivered him out of all his afflictions, and gave him favor
- 13:38and wisdom in the sight of Pharaoh king of Egypt, And he
- 13:41made him governor over Egypt and all his house. 11 Now there came
- 13:46a dearth over the land of Egypt and Canaan, and a great
- 13:50affliction, and our fathers found no sustenance. 12:00 But
- 13:57when Jacob heard that there was corn in Egypt, he sent out our
- 14:01fathers first. 13 And at the second time Joseph was made
- 14:06known to his brothers, and Joseph's kindred was made known
- 14:10unto Pharaoh. 14 Then sent Joseph, and called his father
- 14:14Jacob to him, and all his kindred three score and 15
- 14:21souls. So Jacob went down into Egypt
- 14:26and died, he and our fathers. 16 and were carried over into
- 14:32Psychum, and laid in the tomb that Abraham bought for a sum of
- 14:36money of the sons of Emor the father of Sikkim. 17 And when
- 14:42the time of the promise drew near, which God had sworn to
- 14:46Abraham, the people grew and multiplied in Egypt, 18 till
- 14:51another king arose which knew not Joseph. 19 The same dealt
- 14:56subtly with our kindred, and evil entreated our fathers, so
- 15:01that they cast out their young children to the end they might
- 15:06not live. So this was whenever the Pharaoh
- 15:11of the time demanded that all the Hebrew boys be cast into the
- 15:16Nile. And we can see here that it was
- 15:18a satanic attack. And we know that in the garden
- 15:23when God was pronouncing all of the judgment, he told the
- 15:28serpent, he told the devil that he would bruise his heel, that
- 15:32he would bruise the Savior's heel, but he would crush his
- 15:35head. So ever since that time, Satan
- 15:38has been running scared, trying to figure out ways for his head
- 15:42not to be crushed. We need to know, friends, that
- 15:48it is a promise is not a suggestion.
- 15:54God promised Satan that his head would be crushed.
- 15:58He's already bruised the heel, but Jesus rose back from the
- 16:03dead. Go and read Revelation, the end
- 16:07of Revelation where it says that Satan will be cast into the lake
- 16:12of fire forever, never to return.
- 16:15Friends, that is his end. He's done finito, finished,
- 16:20cooked, and we look forward to that day.
- 16:26We don't give him lip service. We don't fear him.
- 16:29In the name of Jesus Christ we overcome the enemy by the blood
- 16:33of the Lamb and the words of our testimony. 20 In which time
- 16:41Moses was born, and was exceeding fair and nourished up
- 16:46in his father's house three months.
- 16:48So they hid him, but when they could not hide him anymore, they
- 16:53made a basket for him. 21 And when he was cast out, Pharaoh's
- 17:00daughter took him up and nourished him for his own, for
- 17:04her own son. So here we can see that Moses
- 17:07grew up, even though he was a Hebrew, he grew up in royalty in
- 17:12Pharaoh's court, learning all of the Egyptian ways. 22 In Moses
- 17:20was learning in the wisdom of the Egyptians, and was mighty in
- 17:24words and deeds. 23 And when he was 40 years old, it came into
- 17:31his heart to visit his brothers, the children of Israel.
- 17:34So he found out that he was an Israelite that was saved during
- 17:38that wicked time when they were trying to annihilate the Jews.
- 17:47And it's no different when you can see so many different
- 17:51attacks on the Jewish nation. They are the most persecuted
- 17:55people group on planet earth. And it is satanic every single
- 17:59time that we have anti-Semitism and try to raise and rise up
- 18:04against the Jews. And far be it from the church to
- 18:08turn their backs on the Jewish nation and on the Jewish people.
- 18:1924 And seeing one of them suffer wrong, he defended him and
- 18:23avenged him. That was oppressed and struck
- 18:26the Egyptian. 25 For he supposed his brothers would have
- 18:30understood how that God by his hand would deliver them, but
- 18:35they understood not. So they didn't understand that
- 18:38Moses was going to try and deliver them at this time.
- 18:42So you can see that it was not yet time for Moses to deliver
- 18:47them, but this was a precursor to him being the deliverer of
- 18:54that nation out of Egypt. 26th And the next day he showed
- 19:01himself unto them as they strove, and would have them, and
- 19:06would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, your
- 19:10brothers, why are you doing 1 to another?
- 19:15Why do you do wrong one to another?
- 19:1727 But he that did his neighbor wrong thrust him away, saying,
- 19:23Who made you a ruler and a judge over US?
- 19:2628 Will you kill me, as you did the Egyptian yesterday?
- 19:32So here we can see another little indicator of how the
- 19:38Jewish nation treated Moses with contempt when Moses was their
- 19:44Liberator. And you're going to see that for
- 19:4640 years in the wilderness. 29 Then Moses fled at this saying,
- 19:57and was a stranger in the land of Median, where he had two
- 20:01sons. 30 and when 40 years were expired.
- 20:06There appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai an
- 20:10Angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a Bush.
- 20:14This is a Christophany, the Lord Jesus speaking to him out of the
- 20:18Bush. 31 And Moses saw it, and wondered at the sight, and he
- 20:25drew near to behold it, and the voice of the Lord came unto him,
- 20:3232 saying, I am the God of your father's, the God of Abraham,
- 20:37Isaac, and Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst
- 20:41not behold. 33 Then said the Lord to him, Take off your shoes
- 20:48from your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.
- 20:54So here Stephen is taking this high council to task.
- 21:00He is showing them just how evil they are and how God is
- 21:06everywhere all at once. He's omnipresent friends.
- 21:10He is not just dwelling in the holiest of holy places.
- 21:15We cannot make him a home on this earth.
- 21:20He was well pleased to dwell with them as long as their
- 21:23hearts were right. He was well pleased for them to
- 21:27be the priests of the world, but they squandered that liberty.
- 21:35They squandered that position in high office by making it all
- 21:41about sin and self and money and greed and power. 34 I have seen,
- 21:50I have seen the affliction of my people, which is in Egypt, and I
- 21:55have heard they're groaning and come down to deliver them.
- 21:59And now come, I will send you into Egypt. 35 Then Moses, whom
- 22:07they refused, saying, Who made you a ruler and a judge?
- 22:10The same did God send to be a ruler and a deliverer by the
- 22:14hand of the Angel which appeared to him in the Bush. 36.
- 22:19He brought them out. After that he showed wonders and
- 22:22signs in the land of Egypt and in the Red Sea and in the
- 22:26wilderness for 40 years. 37 This is that Moses, which said unto
- 22:33the children of Israel, a prophet, shall the Lord your God
- 22:37raise up unto you of your brothers, like unto me him you
- 22:42shall hear. We know that he's talking about
- 22:44the Lord Jesus Christ, and that Jesus was coming into the land
- 22:50to be the deliverer to deliver them out of bondage of sin. 38
- 23:01This is he that was in the church in the wilderness with
- 23:06the Angel which spoke to him, in the Mount Sinai with our fathers
- 23:13who received the lively oracles to give unto us.
- 23:19So we know that the 10 commandments came by Moses, and
- 23:23we know that Jesus was the fulfillment of the law. 39 to
- 23:28whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in
- 23:33their hearts turned back again into Egypt.
- 23:37This is what the High Council, this is what the Sanhedrin is
- 23:41doing. They're doing exactly what the
- 23:44children in the wilderness did. Whenever God LED them out of
- 23:49Egypt and was leading them into the Promised Land, they wanted
- 23:54to go back into sin. This is what happened when you
- 23:59see right before the Babylonian captivity that God sent Isaiah
- 24:05and He sent Ezekiel and He sent Jeremiah, and He was telling
- 24:10them over and over and over to turn and to repent and to come
- 24:16back. Quit listening to the false
- 24:19prophets. But they would not because they
- 24:21were steeped in idolatry. And here the Jews of Jesus's
- 24:28time, in the early church's time, they're steeped in
- 24:32idolatry as well. And it is idol worship when we
- 24:37refuse God and serve self. 40 saying unto Aaron, make us gods
- 24:46to go before us. As for this Moses, who brought
- 24:49us out of the land of Egypt, we want not what has become of him.
- 24:53So this is when Moses went up on the mountain, and his face was
- 24:57shining, and he stayed there with the Lord God.
- 25:03And I'm sure this Shekinah glory, he was undone.
- 25:08And he came down, and they asked him to cover his face. 41 And
- 25:12they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the
- 25:17idol, and rejoice in the works of their own hands.
- 25:20And we do the same today. Far be it from us to be idol
- 25:24worshippers and to worship the things that are made to worship
- 25:29creation more than the Creator. 42 Then God turned and gave them
- 25:34up to worship the host of heaven, as it is written in the
- 25:38book of the prophets. O you, House of Israel, have you
- 25:41offered to me slain beasts and sacrifices by the space of 40
- 25:46years in the wildernesses? So here we can see that God gave
- 25:52them over to a reprobate mind. God gave them over to their
- 25:56sinful desires, and he'll do the same to us when we turn away
- 26:03from him. 43 Yeah, He took up the Tabernacle of Molech and the
- 26:12star of your God R.E.M. fam figures which you made to
- 26:18worship them. And I will carry you away beyond
- 26:21Babylon. So yeah, he's he is mentioning
- 26:26the idol worship of the Israelites before the Babylonian
- 26:32captivity. And he's saying I'm going to
- 26:34take you further than that in the judgment.
- 26:37You're going to go to hell and you are going to go into eternal
- 26:43damnation and destruction if you will not obey me and if you will
- 26:49not turn to me. And he's saying that you are no
- 26:53different, with you serving child sacrifices and serving
- 27:01astrology. 44 Our fathers had the Tabernacle of witness in the
- 27:08wilderness, as he had appointed, speaking unto Moses, that he
- 27:12should make it according to the fashion that he had seen. 45
- 27:16Which also our fathers that came after brought in with Jesus into
- 27:22the possession of the Gentiles, whom God drove out before the
- 27:27face of our fathers unto the days of David.
- 27:33So you can see here that this Christophany that appeared in
- 27:40the burning Bush, in the Christophany that has happened
- 27:44throughout all of the Old Testament is referenced.
- 27:48And we see here that Moses obeyed the words of Jesus,
- 27:53obeyed the words of him when he walked bodily on this earth
- 27:57before the days of his incarnation, but whenever he
- 28:03came in bodily form. And you can see here that Moses
- 28:08understood, and the people grieved God by always turning
- 28:14back to their selfish idol worship. 46 Who found favor
- 28:20before God and desire to find a Tabernacle for the God of Jacob.
- 28:25So he's talking about how David desired to build him a house,
- 28:31but 47 but Solomon built him the house. 48 How be it?
- 28:37The Most High dwells not in temples made with hands, as said
- 28:41the prophet. 49 Heaven is my throne, earth is my footstool.
- 28:47What house will you build me, Says the Lord, Or what is the
- 28:52place of my rest? Stephen here is showing the high
- 28:57Council how much they have erred, and thinking that God
- 29:01only dwells in the temple. Heaven is his throne, earth is
- 29:07his footstool. He does not dwell in houses, He
- 29:11does not dwell in temples. We are the Church friends. 50
- 29:21Has not my hand made all these things?
- 29:2451 You stiff necked, uncircumcised in heart and ears?
- 29:29You do always resist the Holy Ghost, as your Father's did, and
- 29:34so do you. So Stephen is showing them that
- 29:37they are in the same position that the Israelites found
- 29:43themselves in before the Babylonian captivity.
- 29:47And here in a short space they are going to find Rome coming in
- 29:55and destroying their temple and driving them into distant lands,
- 30:00and they will not be regathered again until 1948.
- 30:10Do not grieve and resist the Holy Spirit. 52 Which of the
- 30:15prophets have not your Father's persecuted, and they have slain
- 30:19them, which showed before of the coming of the just, one of whom
- 30:24you have now the betrayers and murderers, 53 who have received
- 30:30the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
- 30:37Stephen here is not holding any punches.
- 30:41He is making sure that they understand that God does not
- 30:45just dwell in the holiest of holy places.
- 30:49God is over all, He is sovereign, He is the King of the
- 30:53universe. And they had erred thinking that
- 30:57he only was their God and they could just manipulate him.
- 31:01And they feared man more than they feared God.
- 31:04And Steven saw right through it. And God was using Steven as a
- 31:08mouthpiece and a megaphone to show them that in a short time
- 31:13their little Playhouse would be taken away from them. 54 When
- 31:21they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they
- 31:25gnashed on him with their teeth. So here, this is the grinding of
- 31:30the teeth. They couldn't wait for him to
- 31:32shut up, so that they could kill him and murder him and stone him
- 31:38and throw him off a Cliff. 55 But he, being full of the Holy
- 31:47Ghost, looked up steadfastly into heaven, and he saw the
- 31:52glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God.
- 31:57So Jesus stood up. At this we know that Jesus is
- 32:05seated at the right hand of God. But here the Bible tells us that
- 32:09Jesus stood up, perhaps with a round of applause for Stephen,
- 32:18and how he showed them how desperately they needed to turn
- 32:23their hearts and their minds over to the Lamb that was slain.
- 32:31Here you can see that these religious folk are allocated
- 32:38with hell, with this gnashing of teeth. 56 and said, Behold, I
- 32:47see the heavens open, and the Son of Man standing on the right
- 32:53hand of God. And this is what Jesus told
- 32:57Caiaphas whenever he had him in the mock trial.
- 33:02There he told him that he would see him seated at the right hand
- 33:06of God and coming with all the angels.
- 33:11And that is what got Caiaphis to tear his robe and accuse him of
- 33:16blasphemy and give him over to Pilate. 57 Then they cried out
- 33:25with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him
- 33:29with 1 accord. So they mob rushed him 58 and
- 33:34cast him out of the city and stoned him.
- 33:38And the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man's
- 33:42feet, whose name was Saul. Lots of interesting points here.
- 33:50We need to understand that Stephen gave them a powerful
- 33:58point by point lecture on how they were turning against God
- 34:03Almighty. And here they refused to repent.
- 34:10They refused to confess that the blood of Jesus Christ was on
- 34:14their hands and they wanted to just to silence Him.
- 34:18They wanted to just shut Him up. They wanted to just get rid of
- 34:21them. And it's no different in our day
- 34:24and our hour when men and women of faith rise up and speak the
- 34:29truth. We should not be surprised
- 34:33whenever we are marginalized, ridiculed, cancelled, subtly
- 34:38persecuted, and then eventually outright persecuted.
- 34:43And we can see here the Saul of Tarsus is mentioned and he's
- 34:51witnessing all of it. He heard Stevens lecture.
- 34:56He heard Stevens whole dialogue. And it is going to change him as
- 35:11he goes on. We're going to see this Saul
- 35:16write 1/3 of our New Testament. We're going to see this Saul
- 35:22become an apostle of the Lord Jesus Christ, a super apostle.
- 35:2959 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God and saying,
- 35:36Lord, Jesus received my spirit. 60 And he kneeled down and cried
- 35:44with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge.
- 35:51And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
- 36:01This is the way of the Lord, and this calls for understanding.
- 36:08Do not kill. Do not fear the one that can
- 36:10kill the body, but fear the one that can kill the body and cast
- 36:15your soul into hell. Steven got it right, and I pray
- 36:21that we will too. Let's not count this life as
- 36:25anything. Let's be found doing whatever it
- 36:29is that the Lord lays on our heart.
- 36:31Let's be found studying the scriptures and giving ourselves
- 36:35over to prayer. Let's be found taking the whole
- 36:38word to the whole world. Let's be found going into the
- 36:41hardest places. Let's be found taking back enemy
- 36:45territory. Let's be found friends, laying
- 36:52down our lives for our brothers, taking up our cross daily and
- 36:58following Jesus Christ. He is the road map, He is the
- 37:04treasure, He is the guide, He is the voice, He is our everything.
- 37:16We need to make sure that we stay close, stay close to Him so
- 37:20you can hear his still small voice.
- 37:23Let go of this world, let go of the things of this world, let go
- 37:28of sin and self and follow Jesus closely.
- 37:35I hope you've been blessed by this chapter.
- 37:37I know I sure have. I'm praying for you, I love you,
- 37:52love you so much. I'm thankful you're on this
- 37:56journey. These are the words of life.
- 38:02Let them wash over you today and cleanse you of all iniquity.
- 38:11The word became flesh. We know that He is the Word.
- 38:20We'll see you back here tomorrow.
- 38:21God bless you.
