- 0:01Speaker 2: We've got the beach within that bresh band, pass a bullet,
- 0:04Speaker 2: a spine on your base.
- 0:09Speaker 3: At concerts, we dance to the same tune. At games,
- 0:13Speaker 3: we hug total strangers. At marathons, we hadd water to
- 0:18Speaker 3: people who'll never see again. We pull over to help,
- 0:23Speaker 3: We stop for someone who's fallen.
- 0:26Speaker 4: We give, we.
- 0:27Speaker 3: Step up, we show up. And yet in these moments,
- 0:34Speaker 3: there's also something we don't do. We don't act based
- 0:39Speaker 3: on how they look, who they love, where they're from,
- 0:45Speaker 3: or what they believe. We just act because the things
- 0:50Speaker 3: that make us different will never change. What makes us human.

- 1:29Speaker 7: This portion of the program is brought to you by
- 1:31Speaker 7: Radiant Dentistry. Scott cland Dinnon is here today. We have
- 1:38Speaker 7: a really special guest for our entertainment segment this afternoon.
- 1:43Speaker 7: In the second hour of the program, we're going to
- 1:46Speaker 7: hear from defensive coordinator Lyyle Hemphill as well, So we
- 1:52Speaker 7: got all of that going for us. We have got
- 1:54Speaker 7: our sec preview at the bottom of the hour with
- 1:58Speaker 7: the game Cocks the Fighting Shane Bemers. The Aggie football
- 2:04Speaker 7: team is back on the field this morning for a
- 2:07Speaker 7: daytime practice.
- 2:11Speaker 8: They will be back on the.
- 2:12Speaker 7: Field tomorrow morning for another daytime practice as they get
- 2:19Speaker 7: ready to open the season the first Saturday of September.
- 2:24Speaker 7: I know it's how the calendar fell. I'm not a
- 2:29Speaker 7: big proponent of August football, especially here in Texas. A
- 2:36Speaker 7: and M's playing at six o'clock. We know it's going
- 2:38Speaker 7: to be warm, and I think this is right. I
- 2:44Speaker 7: think Texas is playing at two thirty in the afternoon
- 2:48Speaker 7: for their opener. He good luck to all the fans
- 2:54Speaker 7: out there. We've got baseball continuing. We have got bad
- 3:00Speaker 7: baseball continuing in the American League West. I don't know
- 3:07Speaker 7: what to say about either the Astros or the Giants.
- 3:11Speaker 7: Quite frankly, in fact, what's the score of that Astros
- 3:15Speaker 7: game right now?
- 3:16Speaker 8: Stan? What do we got? It is one zero? Giants
- 3:21Speaker 8: are up and is top of the fifth.
- 3:23Speaker 7: Okay, so the Astros scored one run last night against
- 3:29Speaker 7: that powerhouse Giants' pitching staff. We'll keep you updated on that.
- 3:36Speaker 7: But there's still a half game ahead of the Rangers,
- 3:40Speaker 7: who are sixty up and sixty down. I mean, let's
- 3:47Speaker 7: look at the game from last night, and it was
- 3:55Speaker 7: about what you would think for a five hundred team.
- 4:00Speaker 8: I mean.
- 4:02Speaker 7: Johnson gets to start for San Francisco, I mean for Anaheim,
- 4:08Speaker 7: he is has an ERI over seven. He throws thirty
- 4:15Speaker 7: pitches in the first inning thirty. The Regiers score one run,
- 4:23Speaker 7: one and God bless him, they scratched their way to
- 4:29Speaker 7: a second run before the game was over. Cody Bradford
- 4:34Speaker 7: deserved better. He won seven innings, a lodges, five hits,
- 4:37Speaker 7: three yard runs and pitch very well against a team
- 4:45Speaker 7: that's not very good. And you look at the middle
- 4:52Speaker 7: of the lineup. Why Langford Oh for four, Corey Seeger
- 4:57Speaker 7: Oh for four, Evan Carter Oh for four, Jake Berger
- 5:03Speaker 7: for four. The Rangers exploded for six base hits against
- 5:11Speaker 7: a terrible Angels pitching staff. Whytt Langford and Evan Carter
- 5:18Speaker 7: between them have three hits so far in the month
- 5:21Speaker 7: of August. They're both batting is the bin doze line
- 5:28Speaker 7: is at two hundred. What is it when you're below
- 5:30Speaker 7: one hundred?
- 5:32Speaker 8: I mean, what is that called. I don't know what
- 5:36Speaker 8: to call that.
- 5:40Speaker 7: I have no idea, but they're both batting below one hundred.
- 5:49Speaker 7: Paul Skeins of the Pirates through just sixty five pitches
- 5:54Speaker 7: last night and lost to the Marlins, leading the speculation
- 5:58Speaker 7: he may have health issues. Pirus manager Don Kelly insisted
- 6:03Speaker 7: Skeen's early exit was not injury related. Skeen says he
- 6:10Speaker 7: understood the quick hook. If I were a manager, I'd
- 6:14Speaker 7: probably do it too. Kelly walked me through everything. It
- 6:18Speaker 7: made sense. I wish I'd could have gone more, but
- 6:21Speaker 7: it is what it is. Skeen's is nine and eleven.
- 6:26Speaker 7: It was his lowis pitch count since April, when he
- 6:31Speaker 7: was pulled after four innings because of a weather delay.
- 6:40Speaker 7: By the way, the Rangers will send cal Quantrell to
- 6:44Speaker 7: the mound tonight. They probably need a shutout to win
- 6:47Speaker 7: the game, and I'm not even sure they can.
- 6:51Speaker 8: Win the game.
- 6:51Speaker 7: If they shut the opponent out. Seriously, they'll need a shutout.
- 7:03Speaker 7: They're sixty up and sixty down, a half game behind
- 7:07Speaker 7: the Astros, who lost to the Terrible Giants last night.
- 7:13Speaker 7: It is ugly in the West. I'm beginning to believe
- 7:19Speaker 7: that a below five hundred average may win the West.
- 7:24Speaker 7: The Mariners got beat by the Yankees. I believe they've
- 7:27Speaker 7: lost five in a row, if I'm not mistaken. Right,
- 7:33Speaker 7: the only team with a winning streak right now in
- 7:37Speaker 7: the Ale West is the Angels. They've won one in
- 7:40Speaker 7: a row. Good gosh, it's ugly. I mean ugly, But
- 7:50Speaker 7: as we've said repeatedly in this day and age, you
- 7:54Speaker 7: get what you paid for. By the way, I don't
- 7:59Speaker 7: understand this at all. The Rangers game is starting at
- 8:03Speaker 7: nine to ten, which is forty minutes earlier now, thirty
- 8:07Speaker 7: minutes later than it's been starting out there.
- 8:10Speaker 8: And it's on ESPN.
- 8:12Speaker 7: Oh, good gosh, in what world would they think the
- 8:17Speaker 7: Rangers and Angels should be on ESPN tonight?
- 8:21Speaker 8: That's some ugly baseball.
- 8:25Speaker 7: So less than a year ago, billionaire Dodgers owner Mark
- 8:29Speaker 7: Walter bought the Lakers from the Bus family for ten
- 8:35Speaker 7: billion dollars. Today, he sold the Lakers for twelve billion
- 8:45Speaker 7: dollars Josh Kushner and Bob Iger. This comes amids news
- 8:54Speaker 7: that a federal law enforcement probe into Walter's finances and
- 8:59Speaker 7: his company, and these are ongoing. He said, owning the
- 9:04Speaker 7: Lakers has been one of the great honors of my life.
- 9:07Speaker 7: One year an extraordinary investment. That part is true. I
- 9:13Speaker 7: tell you, if I could make two billion in the
- 9:16Speaker 7: next year, I'd be okay with that.
- 9:23Speaker 8: I'd be all right with it.
- 9:27Speaker 7: Now for another Live golf chapter, the Michigan Tournament has
- 9:35Speaker 7: been canceled. The final of the season schedule for the
- 9:39Speaker 7: end of August already believed to be on the chopping block.
- 9:44Speaker 7: Reports suggested no on site build out at the Saint
- 9:47Speaker 7: John's course.
- 9:48Speaker 8: As recently as this.
- 9:49Speaker 7: Weekend, most live players had little to say about the event,
- 9:59Speaker 7: Martin Kim in late July saying the Team Championship had
- 10:04Speaker 7: a five percent chance of happening. The final live event
- 10:09Speaker 7: of the season supposed to take place in the Indianapolis area,
- 10:18Speaker 7: and there's no doubt that Live is in deep trouble. Meanwhile,
- 10:27Speaker 7: the first week of three weeks in a row, the
- 10:29Speaker 7: FedEx Cup The playoffs begin tomorrow in Memphis Saint Jude Championship.
- 10:36Speaker 7: The top seventy players will be on hand, including Rory McElroy,
- 10:42Speaker 7: the number two player who finished twelfth in the standings.
- 10:48Speaker 7: Kind of surprise people by saying he's going there. Just
- 10:51Speaker 7: last month he said he would skip it like he
- 10:53Speaker 7: did a year ago because he's pretty much locked in.
- 11:00Speaker 7: Didn't see why he should bother. Rory's only played in
- 11:05Speaker 7: eleven events, well below the number of tournaments. Scheffler, in
- 11:11Speaker 7: other words, have played in seventeen events. Speed has already
- 11:18Speaker 7: played in twenty one events. He hadn't had a top
- 11:23Speaker 7: ten finish all year, but he's going to be in
- 11:25Speaker 7: the playoffs. Some weird stuff happening. Lived Golf on life
- 11:32Speaker 7: support and we'll see what happens this weekend at the
- 11:36Speaker 7: FedEx Cup.
- 11:37Speaker 8: There's seventy. They will pair that down to.
- 11:44Speaker 7: I think fifty and then thirty for the final in Atlanta.
- 11:51Speaker 7: So that's how that works. And then somebody's going to
- 11:53Speaker 7: get a really large check from FedEx, who apparently he's going.
- 11:57Speaker 8: To be pulling out of the sponsorship. I believe. Okay,
- 12:02Speaker 8: we're gonna take a break.
- 12:04Speaker 7: We've got our sec preview coming up here in about
- 12:06Speaker 7: twenty minutes. You'll want us stay tuned for that. Scott
- 12:10Speaker 7: Clintenon will be here and we're gonna hear from defensive
- 12:15Speaker 7: coordinator Lyle hemp Hill when we come back after this.
- 12:19Speaker 8: For Chad Jones Law.
- 12:21Speaker 9: I'm Chad Jones. We know sports injuries hurt, and so
- 12:24Speaker 9: do injuries from car res. But you didn't sign up
- 12:26Speaker 9: to being a carreck with someone who wasn't paying attention.
- 12:29Speaker 9: It was their fault and now you're left to deal
- 12:31Speaker 9: with the consequences. You need to see a doctor and
- 12:33Speaker 9: you're missing work. Chad Jones Law can help. We've been
- 12:36Speaker 9: helping our neighbors for more than two decades. Stop getting
- 12:39Speaker 9: frustrated with the other side's foot dragging. Remember, don't get mad.
- 12:43Speaker 9: Get Chad. Call Chad Jones Law at ninety seven nine
- 12:45Speaker 9: five to ninety five five thousand, or go online to
- 12:48Speaker 9: Chad Jones Law dot com out I'll.
- 12:51Speaker 5: Spender Ekee football senterdays, starting with the game day show,
- 12:54Speaker 5: to the.
- 12:55Speaker 10: Game to the call in show.
- 12:57Speaker 11: I'm a sony eleven fifty am and ninety three point
- 12:59Speaker 11: seven of.
- 13:00Speaker 12: Him on the road again. I just can't wait to
- 13:14Speaker 12: get on road again. Why f I love is making
- 13:19Speaker 12: music with my friend. I can't wait to get a
- 13:23Speaker 12: road again, on the road again, going places that I've
- 13:30Speaker 12: never been, seeing things that I made well.
- 13:34Speaker 8: He wrote that song.
- 13:36Speaker 7: It's part of the soundtrack to the movie Honeysuckle Rose
- 13:40Speaker 7: a long time ago, and it has become one of
- 13:45Speaker 7: the staples and one of the ones that he pretty
- 13:49Speaker 7: much has to play every time he plays. The Outlaw
- 13:53Speaker 7: Music Festival going on this month, far Maide will be
- 13:57Speaker 7: next month, and at ninety three, Willie is still on
- 14:03Speaker 7: the road. Tomorrow, we'll have a high school report. We'll
- 14:10Speaker 7: hear from the quarterback Marcel Reid.
- 14:13Speaker 8: Tomorrow.
- 14:14Speaker 7: We have got our Clark Eisenhower Outdoor Edition Tomorrow. I
- 14:21Speaker 7: think it's gonna be we'll have animal attack stories and
- 14:25Speaker 7: I think it'll be fairly entertaining. We're gonna have a
- 14:31Speaker 7: story about a game warden exercise at Big Bend trying
- 14:38Speaker 7: to find a quote lost hiker and see what they
- 14:44Speaker 7: go through to do that.
- 14:46Speaker 8: As just part of game wardens have a lot of responsibility.
- 14:51Speaker 8: That's just that's one of.
- 14:52Speaker 7: Them that we're right in the middle of the flood
- 14:57Speaker 7: last summer and again this summer. As well as having
- 15:02Speaker 7: to round up some really bad people and if you've
- 15:06Speaker 7: watched the Lone Star loss, some really stupid people as well.
- 15:10Speaker 7: So that'll be tomorrow on the program. Ryan will be
- 15:16Speaker 7: in on Friday. Tomorrow, our SEC preview is Alabama and
- 15:23Speaker 7: on Friday it is Florida. And don't ask me beyond
- 15:28Speaker 7: that yet, Okay. Let's yesterday both coordinators met with the media.
- 15:36Speaker 7: Homan Wiggins on offense, Lyle hemp Hill on defense. Let's
- 15:41Speaker 7: hear from the new A and M defensive coordinator.
- 15:46Speaker 6: Hey, Lyle, just aside from Damien, just would have been
- 15:49Speaker 6: your impressions of the linebacker room so far and just
- 15:51Speaker 6: kind of what you've seen from them this first week
- 15:53Speaker 6: of camp.
- 15:53Speaker 13: Improved improved a couple of things. You know, the one
- 15:57Speaker 13: thing that I thought everybody was missing. They the thing
- 16:01Speaker 13: that they were missing. I think they improved. Like, for example,
- 16:03Speaker 13: I didn't know how physical Noah.
- 16:06Speaker 14: Was going to be. That was the one thing.
- 16:07Speaker 13: He was always a smart and heady kid in the
- 16:09Speaker 13: right position, made some places.
- 16:11Speaker 14: I didn't know how physical, you know, he was going
- 16:13Speaker 14: to be.
- 16:13Speaker 13: And he's had a really physical camp, which is really
- 16:15Speaker 13: good to see.
- 16:16Speaker 14: And then the same thing.
- 16:18Speaker 13: Jay Locke is a very physical kid, not always in
- 16:21Speaker 13: the right Now he's getting himself in the right position.
- 16:23Speaker 13: So I think everybody in that group is really has
- 16:26Speaker 13: made some good strides.
- 16:29Speaker 15: Yeah, Coach, I wanted to ask you. He brought limber
- 16:32Speaker 15: specifically about Ray Colony coming in. We're in the same
- 16:35Speaker 15: number as toy in replacing a potentially replacing a three
- 16:39Speaker 15: year starter. And you know, is have you seen what
- 16:42Speaker 15: if you see from him? Is he what you thought
- 16:44Speaker 15: he'd be?
- 16:44Speaker 14: He's everything I thought it would be. Yeah, he's.
- 16:49Speaker 13: He's six' one, he's you know, two forty plus. He's
- 16:53Speaker 13: loose and athletic, and he's a thumper. You can see
- 16:57Speaker 13: why he had the cackles he had. You know, when
- 16:59Speaker 13: you guys first asked me about him before spring practice,
- 17:03Speaker 13: I really had no idea.
- 17:04Speaker 14: All I knew was what I watched on tape. She
- 17:06Speaker 14: didn't really see it.
- 17:07Speaker 13: But now that he's been here for a minute, he's
- 17:10Speaker 13: starting to figure out he's gonna be.
- 17:11Speaker 14: A health player all the rights?
- 17:13Speaker 16: How was David and then back to Alex, Well, how do.
- 17:16Speaker 13: You balance between creating havoc and pressure but also not
- 17:19Speaker 13: putting your defense in a vulnerable spot Because I know
- 17:21Speaker 13: you guys want to be aggressive. Yeah, that's a that's
- 17:27Speaker 13: a good that's a good question. You know, sometimes you
- 17:31Speaker 13: just and I'm learning this as we go, and when
- 17:33Speaker 13: you're starting to see it, you're trying to adapt to
- 17:35Speaker 13: who you are as a football team. I think we've
- 17:38Speaker 13: got havoc makers up front on the on the front
- 17:41Speaker 13: four and sometimes it's you know, less is more, I
- 17:45Speaker 13: guess with just let these guys go take take things
- 17:48Speaker 13: off their plate, take thinking off their plate, and let
- 17:50Speaker 13: them just go create havoc. And again, you've got to
- 17:54Speaker 13: adapt to your personnel. And that's what we're trying to.
- 17:56Speaker 15: Do, right or less.
- 17:58Speaker 6: I with Alex I think we're talking with Antosaka tomorrow.
- 18:01Speaker 6: Just you know, I think he was named to Feldman's
- 18:03Speaker 6: Freaklist yesterday and too just what have you seen from
- 18:07Speaker 6: him this offseason that maybe validates that and maybe what
- 18:10Speaker 6: you've seen to what was he named Bruce Feldman's freak list?
- 18:13Speaker 14: Okay, and just say that one. Okay, what's that? What
- 18:16Speaker 14: exactly is a freak list?
- 18:18Speaker 6: He like physical, like guys that have like really crazy
- 18:22Speaker 6: physical numbers testing.
- 18:25Speaker 13: Yeah, I can see that. Yeah, he's a physical kid.
- 18:27Speaker 13: He can run fast, he's he uses his hands, he's violent. Yeah,
- 18:33Speaker 13: I actually see that.
- 18:34Speaker 6: I guess how have you seen him grow in his
- 18:35Speaker 6: game this offseason? He's been in y'all system particularly.
- 18:38Speaker 13: Yeah, I think just the system he played at at Northwestern.
- 18:42Speaker 13: The system we're playing here, it's it's it's completely different
- 18:45Speaker 13: for him. It took him to a couple of practices
- 18:47Speaker 13: in the spring to get it going. But once, you know,
- 18:49Speaker 13: once we got the fall camp, you know, he's playing
- 18:51Speaker 13: both sides the end in the jack force.
- 18:55Speaker 14: He can do it all.
- 18:56Speaker 13: He's just a really smart kid, really pleased with his progress.
- 19:00Speaker 11: Staying left side with Kate, Hey, coach, I just want
- 19:04Speaker 11: to ask you a little bit about the nickel position
- 19:06Speaker 11: from your perspective, What have you observed from that group?
- 19:10Speaker 14: You know, one week in the ball camp.
- 19:11Speaker 13: Yeah, we got three guys right now, three or four
- 19:14Speaker 13: guys competing there right now. Obviously Jayshaw played a lot
- 19:17Speaker 13: for us, like late last season.
- 19:20Speaker 14: He's had a good camp. Braveyan has been.
- 19:24Speaker 13: Braveyon and Bryce Anderson actually have been both playing there
- 19:27Speaker 13: as well.
- 19:28Speaker 14: Both doing a nice job so far. Right side with Travis.
- 19:32Speaker 5: Hel Uh.
- 19:34Speaker 16: Curious your your thoughts on kind of how the the
- 19:36Speaker 16: cornerback battle is has squared away, and especially kind of
- 19:40Speaker 16: in improvements that Juligo Humphrey maybe has made from last year.
- 19:43Speaker 14: Yeah, it's a good this is a good problem we're having.
- 19:45Speaker 14: We have a good problem right now.
- 19:47Speaker 13: Julio has elevated his game, He's gotten more confident, better
- 19:51Speaker 13: playing the better playing the.
- 19:53Speaker 14: Ball in the air.
- 19:55Speaker 13: You know, dez is des we missed them all spring
- 19:58Speaker 13: with you know, and he's back and he and he's
- 20:00Speaker 13: and he's doing well. And then you've got you know,
- 20:02Speaker 13: you throw Rick into the mix, and you throw some
- 20:04Speaker 13: young guys in the mix too that they're pretty pretty
- 20:08Speaker 13: good as well. So we've got a good problem at
- 20:10Speaker 13: the corner right now.
- 20:13Speaker 6: Rice Howard carter.
- 20:15Speaker 17: Lyle, I just want to ask you about Damien just
- 20:18Speaker 17: how impressive you've been with him to be able to
- 20:20Speaker 17: get back kind of as soon as he is, to
- 20:22Speaker 17: kind of get back to where he's out there, And
- 20:25Speaker 17: what's it been like for him this kind of time
- 20:27Speaker 17: off for him?
- 20:28Speaker 13: It honestly, it shows how mature the kid has become.
- 20:31Speaker 13: I mean, he is a grown man. The way he's
- 20:34Speaker 13: handled this all the way through. I mean he's just been.
- 20:37Speaker 14: A complete pro about it. You know, he works, He
- 20:41Speaker 14: works his tail off every day.
- 20:43Speaker 13: He stays locked in in meetings you know, and walk
- 20:46Speaker 13: throughs and practice. He's like, you know, not getting all
- 20:49Speaker 13: the reps he wants to get just yet. But you
- 20:51Speaker 13: know the time, you know his time is coming. I mean,
- 20:54Speaker 13: he's getting really close to one hundred percent, which is
- 20:57Speaker 13: really good. But he's been and he's been really good
- 21:01Speaker 13: for the younger guys too. He's really I'm really impressed
- 21:05Speaker 13: with how he's handled this thing.
- 21:07Speaker 17: You talked a little bit about Jordan Shaw. I know,
- 21:10Speaker 17: I think coach Ok will talk about the job he
- 21:11Speaker 17: did against Malchai TONI. Yeah, I wanted to ask you
- 21:14Speaker 17: just like what you remember about that and what do
- 21:16Speaker 17: you think he's capable.
- 21:17Speaker 14: Of the season.
- 21:18Speaker 13: Like the thing I remember about the Malchay Tony is
- 21:20Speaker 13: I don't remember anything about it because nothing really you
- 21:22Speaker 13: know what I mean.
- 21:22Speaker 14: He just covered him the whole which was really impressive.
- 21:25Speaker 14: You know.
- 21:26Speaker 13: Obviously we did a lot of things around because that
- 21:30Speaker 13: you know, he's special, but we did a lot of
- 21:31Speaker 13: things around him.
- 21:32Speaker 14: But he played a really really good game and I think.
- 21:34Speaker 13: That gave us a lot of confidence going in this
- 21:36Speaker 13: year with him you're starting to.
- 21:38Speaker 14: See the same thing.
- 21:39Speaker 13: I mean, he's a heady kid, so you know, he's
- 21:42Speaker 13: naturally physically gifted and all that stuff, but he's a
- 21:45Speaker 13: good football player and he can do a lot of
- 21:48Speaker 13: different things.
- 21:49Speaker 15: Saying the rest sile with Travis.
- 21:51Speaker 16: For you personally, what's been the thoughts emotions heading into
- 21:56Speaker 16: your first fall campus as a d C here and
- 21:59Speaker 16: it does it represent any kind of milestone to you
- 22:01Speaker 16: or is it just kind of another thing right now?
- 22:03Speaker 13: I'm you know, I'm neck deep in it and I'm
- 22:07Speaker 13: head down going to work trying to.
- 22:09Speaker 14: Get these guys as good as we.
- 22:10Speaker 13: Can, not really looking at the big picture or myself.
- 22:14Speaker 13: I'm just how do we get these guys better? How
- 22:16Speaker 13: do we improve these guys every day? How do we
- 22:18Speaker 13: take a step, you know, towards our goal every day
- 22:21Speaker 13: trying to meet our standard?
- 22:24Speaker 14: You know, I'm just you know, all eyes on the mission.
- 22:28Speaker 16: Left side with Alex.
- 22:30Speaker 6: Yeah, it just seemed like forcing turnovers has been something
- 22:32Speaker 6: your players have talked about being a point of emphasis
- 22:35Speaker 6: this offseason, just you know, would have been maybe the
- 22:37Speaker 6: signs so this first week to practice that y'all are
- 22:40Speaker 6: making strides or is that something you're still working on.
- 22:43Speaker 13: No, that's something that we have worked on all season.
- 22:46Speaker 13: I mean, I can't even imagine how many more balls
- 22:50Speaker 13: we've caught this offseason than we did a year. I mean,
- 22:52Speaker 13: that was obviously a problem we had, We dropped balls.
- 22:56Speaker 13: So we have worked tirelessly trying to get better at that.
- 23:00Speaker 13: We worked on ball disruption. We've just amped that up
- 23:03Speaker 13: so much. It is showing up. We're seeing it. We're
- 23:06Speaker 13: seeing the results, you know, of our hard work in
- 23:09Speaker 13: the off season, and we've got to continue to do that.
- 23:12Speaker 6: Hold on the right side.
- 23:17Speaker 15: And I'm wondering what you've seen from Dj Hicks, you know,
- 23:20Speaker 15: came and taking over a full time starting role assoom,
- 23:24Speaker 15: and then beyond that, just how that interior defensive line
- 23:28Speaker 15: has progressed.
- 23:29Speaker 13: Yeah, So you know, DJ's obviously I think last year
- 23:33Speaker 13: he had a really good season. He's had a really
- 23:35Speaker 13: good fall camp so far. I mean, he's one of
- 23:38Speaker 13: he's got to be one of the better d tackles
- 23:39Speaker 13: I've ever seen. You know, it's just twitchy, fast, strong,
- 23:43Speaker 13: all that kind of stuff. With the guys that you know,
- 23:45Speaker 13: the young guys have done a good job. And then
- 23:47Speaker 13: we brought in obviously a couple of transfers. You know,
- 23:51Speaker 13: it's different. You watch these transfers playing college football games,
- 23:55Speaker 13: so you have a pretty good idea that you know,
- 23:58Speaker 13: we took them, they're pretty good play. So you know,
- 24:02Speaker 13: we've got some good competition and we've got some good
- 24:05Speaker 13: depth there. I think everybody that we took on the
- 24:07Speaker 13: you know, in the transfer portal, ended up being what
- 24:10Speaker 13: we hope they would be good players. They can they
- 24:13Speaker 13: can play in this league. So I think we're a
- 24:16Speaker 13: pretty good situation inside.
- 24:18Speaker 8: That's a lot of Himpel.
- 24:20Speaker 7: Himp Hill, the defensive coordinator, had a relationship with Elko
- 24:26Speaker 7: for goes back twenty plus years.
- 24:30Speaker 8: They coached.
- 24:32Speaker 7: Together at Hofstra and then Elco hired him at Duke.
- 24:43Speaker 7: He was co defensive coordinator there and spent a year
- 24:51Speaker 7: at James Madison as the defensive coordinator where he had
- 24:57Speaker 7: a top defense. And then he came here last year
- 25:06Speaker 7: and he's been elevated to defensive coordinator this year. And
- 25:15Speaker 7: remember that was the big stories like, hey, who's going
- 25:19Speaker 7: to be defensive coordinator? Coach Elko said, Hey, I know
- 25:24Speaker 7: this guy, he's really good. We're stayed in house. When
- 25:30Speaker 7: he was at James Madison, they led the nation in
- 25:34Speaker 7: turnover margin, just talking about the fact that how do
- 25:37Speaker 7: you create more turnovers? And his stats are impressive. They
- 25:47Speaker 7: were impressive when he coached with Elko at Duke on
- 25:52Speaker 7: the defense, So it'll be interesting to see, you know,
- 26:00Speaker 7: you know, ask the questions like, hey, how do you
- 26:02Speaker 7: balance an aggressive defense without giving up you know, big plays.
- 26:09Speaker 7: And he mentioned the front four. If if your front
- 26:13Speaker 7: four is good enough to get to the quarterback without
- 26:20Speaker 7: having to send extra people all the time, you're going
- 26:24Speaker 7: to have a pretty good defense, right because we already
- 26:29Speaker 7: think the secondary is going to be good. That the
- 26:36Speaker 7: issue is they're replacing a lot of talent up front,
- 26:40Speaker 7: a lot of talent up front. Got some new linebackers
- 26:45Speaker 7: as well, So you look at the front seven and
- 26:52Speaker 7: it'll be interesting to see how that progresses as we.
- 26:57Speaker 8: Move along and what that line looks like.
- 27:04Speaker 7: We said yesterday when we heard from DJ Hicks and
- 27:07Speaker 7: Bill called him, well, he's got to be one of
- 27:09Speaker 7: the best defensive tackles I've ever been around. That's high praise.
- 27:19Speaker 7: But we know there are a lot of.
- 27:24Speaker 8: Really skilled.
- 27:26Speaker 7: Linemen in this league. As we say every year, it
- 27:29Speaker 7: is a line of scrimmage league. They have to build depth.
- 27:38Speaker 7: They again, they seem to have that in the secondary.
- 27:42Speaker 7: It remains to be seen what the depth is going
- 27:45Speaker 7: to look like, and there's going to be some young
- 27:47Speaker 7: players that are going to play well. What the depth
- 27:51Speaker 7: will look like in the front seven. Right, those are
- 28:00Speaker 7: some of the questions TBD. That and the offensive line
- 28:06Speaker 7: that you look at and say, well, they have a
- 28:08Speaker 7: chance to be good because they brought in players that
- 28:10Speaker 7: have already played in the SEC and major college football.
- 28:17Speaker 7: But until it's done right, you don't know. We're doing
- 28:26Speaker 7: the Aggies next week. I don't remember the date. I've
- 28:32Speaker 7: got all that stuff written down, I don't remember it yet.
- 28:35Speaker 7: So we're going to do South Carolina here in a
- 28:39Speaker 7: minute when we come back.
- 28:41Speaker 8: We're going to do Alabama tomorrow.
- 28:43Speaker 7: We're going to do Florida on Friday, and maybe if
- 28:47Speaker 7: I have time, I'll sneak back there and get my
- 28:49Speaker 7: schedule and give you an idea. And again, August twenty
- 28:55Speaker 7: fifth is the day to circle. That's when we'll do
- 28:58Speaker 7: the big time prediction. Sef Check Service Center has been
- 29:02Speaker 7: around our community for over a half century.
- 29:06Speaker 8: That's a while.
- 29:07Speaker 7: Pat is carrying on the long family tradition of outstanding service,
- 29:13Speaker 7: customer satisfaction. There's no better place to go for emergencies
- 29:20Speaker 7: like flat tires and debt batteries. They're open seven to
- 29:24Speaker 7: six Monday through Friday. Saturdays from seven to four. You
- 29:29Speaker 7: know the students are beginning to stream back in. If
- 29:33Speaker 7: you've been putting off getting some preventive work done, some
- 29:36Speaker 7: maintenance done, an oil change done before you start getting
- 29:40Speaker 7: on the road following your favorite team, your favorite student,
- 29:45Speaker 7: your favorite grandchild, I suggest you get by there and
- 29:49Speaker 7: get all those things done.
- 29:52Speaker 8: They're going to take care of you. They always have.
- 29:55Speaker 7: It's Sefcheck Service Center twenty two hundred Long March, just
- 29:59Speaker 7: down from the Post Office US in College Station.

- 30:28Speaker 19: since nineteen ninety nine.
- 30:30Speaker 20: And that's a promise.
- 30:32Speaker 5: So Houston Astro Houston Astros play on this landless zone
- 30:35Speaker 5: thanks to Kelly Bird Dozer ue.
- 30:47Speaker 8: W's cry Ray.
- 30:54Speaker 1: Well Vine, I knew we never.
- 31:06Speaker 7: Fred Rose wrote that song a long time ago. A
- 31:10Speaker 7: lot of different artists have tried to sing it whatever,
- 31:14Speaker 7: and then Willie stole it showed him how to sing it.
- 31:20Speaker 7: South Carolina huge disappointment last season, finishing four and eight,
- 31:24Speaker 7: including the second half meltdown at Kyle Field. Quarterback Leonora
- 31:29Speaker 7: Seller's begun last year as a Heisman candidate. No one's
- 31:32Speaker 7: talking about him. This year, Sellers will have a lot
- 31:35Speaker 7: of experience around him, including preseason All American receiver Nick Harber.
- 31:40Speaker 14: Yeah, it's exciting.
- 31:41Speaker 10: I mean he's put them numbers in all the offense
- 31:43Speaker 10: he's played in, got the guys the ball in space,
- 31:47Speaker 10: stuff like that guy like Nickol's fast, who can take
- 31:50Speaker 10: the top off defenses with the run, send them to run,
- 31:52Speaker 10: set the run and then taking deeps out over their heads.
- 31:55Speaker 10: Or even he's gotten better at disaspect like short routes,
- 31:58Speaker 10: just catching and.
- 31:58Speaker 7: Running starter's return on defense, including Texan Peyton Williams in
- 32:03Speaker 7: strong safety. Williams says it's nice to have guys around
- 32:07Speaker 7: him who understand the scheme.
- 32:09Speaker 21: It's definitely key.
- 32:11Speaker 10: This is to be their second year in French, third
- 32:14Speaker 10: year in this defense, so it's huge being able to
- 32:16Speaker 10: play faster and communicate a lot better.
- 32:19Speaker 7: Shane Bieber is entering his sixth year and his chair
- 32:23Speaker 7: is getting warman by the week. But Bieber says, this
- 32:26Speaker 7: team is built for success.
- 32:29Speaker 22: We won't be picked very high. I get that, but
- 32:31Speaker 22: we got the same players that you picked Ushigh for
- 32:33Speaker 22: last year. They're back this year and they're a year older,
- 32:35Speaker 22: which excites me. I like the freshmen that we brought in.
- 32:38Speaker 22: It's a very mature freshman class. I like the transfers
- 32:41Speaker 22: that we've brought in winners. I've got seven new transfers
- 32:45Speaker 22: that have either won a national championship or participated in
- 32:49Speaker 22: the College Football Playoff at their previous school.
- 32:53Speaker 7: So the game cock should be three to zero, but
- 32:56Speaker 7: then the schedule starts at Alabama at Florida, Oklahoma at home,
- 33:03Speaker 7: Clemson at home, an M at home Tennessee Georgia. A
- 33:08Speaker 7: winning record would be a major accomplishment. Tomorrow we'll check
- 33:15Speaker 7: out Alabama. Our sec preview is brought to you by Zwornamann, Floriing,

- 35:28Speaker 8: Scott clndennon is here as he is most Wednesdays.
- 35:33Speaker 7: The Astros are battling trailing powerful San Francisco Giants trying
- 35:41Speaker 7: to score a run down one to nothing, trailing scored, uh.
- 35:48Speaker 8: Exploded for a run last night.
- 35:51Speaker 11: And then trailed. Hey, the good thing is.
- 35:55Speaker 8: They're in the Al West. Just that set it's for.
- 36:01Speaker 11: Creat is just beat out the third double play. No
- 36:05Speaker 11: way of the game so far being a sit into two.
- 36:10Speaker 7: Well, I just by the way, I just saw why
- 36:13Speaker 7: the Giants are so terrible not being able to complete
- 36:17Speaker 7: that double play.
- 36:19Speaker 11: Well, was it the lob? It was a shortstop to second.
- 36:22Speaker 7: Yeah, the lob for the shortstop to second made it
- 36:24Speaker 7: a little difficult.
- 36:25Speaker 11: I mean it looked like a volleyball set. It had
- 36:28Speaker 11: some arcle on it.
- 36:29Speaker 7: You'd think Kumar Rocker was was out there playing shortstop.
- 36:33Speaker 8: Can he play shortstop as well as he could pitch?
- 36:37Speaker 11: Okay, So letting everybody know, you are sitting down.
- 36:42Speaker 8: I am.
- 36:43Speaker 11: You are sitting down I am when I make this statement. Okay,
- 36:48Speaker 11: the Astros will not have a better record than the
- 36:50Speaker 11: Texas Rangers.
- 36:52Speaker 7: You think they're all going to be five hundred. Apparently
- 36:55Speaker 7: the Mariners aren't.
- 36:56Speaker 11: No, it's gonna I think the Astros and the Rangers
- 36:59Speaker 11: will end up with the same record. At best for Houston,
- 37:02Speaker 11: and they will advance on the tiebreaker. But Houston's not
- 37:06Speaker 11: finishing a game in front of the Rangers. I know
- 37:11Speaker 11: you don't want to hear that. I don't because.
- 37:15Speaker 7: Well, I don't think either what them's good enough to
- 37:19Speaker 7: be much above five hundred.
- 37:21Speaker 8: I think they're both five hundred teams.
- 37:23Speaker 11: Yes, except that the Astros are not a five hundred
- 37:26Speaker 11: team against teams that are good. They are terrible against
- 37:31Speaker 11: terrible teams this year. You know, they're like ten games
- 37:35Speaker 11: over five hundred against teams with the better than five hundred.
- 37:37Speaker 7: Well, the Rangers are came into this seven game stretch
- 37:44Speaker 7: against Oakland and Anaheim eight and thirteen.
- 37:51Speaker 8: Okay, yeah, I mean they've done the same thing.
- 37:55Speaker 7: So they are not a terrible but a media Oh
- 38:00Speaker 7: my gosh, what happened?
- 38:04Speaker 11: The can of corn to left was dropped off the leather.
- 38:11Speaker 8: Again? It's it's the Giants.
- 38:14Speaker 11: What he's under contract to make a worse play than
- 38:17Speaker 11: his shortstop does.
- 38:20Speaker 8: Oh he couldn't see it. He lost it.
- 38:23Speaker 11: Yeah, so did Bump Bailey in the natural.
- 38:28Speaker 8: I had heard that reference in a while. That's a
- 38:32Speaker 8: good one, it is. That's that's pretty good.
- 38:35Speaker 11: Sometimes I'm good at this thing.
- 38:37Speaker 8: I think the Rangers have a team of Bump Bailey's.
- 38:43Speaker 8: That's good. That's a good way to describe it.
- 38:45Speaker 7: Yeah, and you know, Joe, she said yesterday that the
- 38:49Speaker 7: a LS could possibly be the first division ever whose
- 38:54Speaker 7: winner is below five hundred.
- 38:56Speaker 8: And I'm beginning to think that he could be right.
- 39:01Speaker 11: And do you think Votello thinks that he had players
- 39:05Speaker 11: at Tennessee that catch the ball better than the Giants?
- 39:09Speaker 8: He probably better, probably have better players that tries more.
- 39:13Speaker 11: Yeah, he's got three players in his lineup that or Tennessee.
- 39:17Speaker 11: Oh I didn't know that picture the first game pitcher,
- 39:20Speaker 11: the center fielder, and one other guy.
- 39:22Speaker 8: That that played for him played for him. Wow.
- 39:24Speaker 11: Okay, but it wasn't the short stop and it wasn't
- 39:27Speaker 11: the left fielder.
- 39:28Speaker 8: They didn't bring enough. Yeah, he needs more, he's going
- 39:31Speaker 8: to Yeah, he needs more, but it would be not
- 39:37Speaker 8: very good.
- 39:37Speaker 11: It would the equivalent would be in the new n
- 39:41Speaker 11: C Double A.
- 39:42Speaker 8: I bet the Astros.
- 39:43Speaker 7: I bet the Astros don't have a player hitting below
- 39:47Speaker 7: one hundred for the month of August, do they in.
- 39:50Speaker 11: The starting lineup? Yeah, Pini, you might.
- 39:53Speaker 8: Look it up. I don't want to look up, look
- 39:57Speaker 8: that up.
- 39:57Speaker 11: I don't want to look at.
- 39:58Speaker 8: The Rangers have two players.
- 40:00Speaker 7: They have one hitting three six and one hitting I
- 40:04Speaker 7: believe four to two. And that would be Wyatt Langford,
- 40:11Speaker 7: who all of a sudden can't hit, and Evan Carter,
- 40:14Speaker 7: who hasn't hit all year.
- 40:18Speaker 11: Uh for the month of August. He's an Astro shortstop.
- 40:22Speaker 11: Jeremy Pinya has played in nine games. He has four
- 40:28Speaker 11: hits and thirty fours at bats for a one to
- 40:30Speaker 11: eighteen batting average with one home run for two run school.
- 40:33Speaker 7: He's sitting what eighteen and he is an home run
- 40:36Speaker 7: that is. That's why, that's why the Astros are half
- 40:40Speaker 7: a game ahead of the Ras right now exactly.
- 40:42Speaker 11: But I'm just saying I think I don't think the
- 40:46Speaker 11: Astros will have a better record. I think they could
- 40:49Speaker 11: be tied or they're going to be right below the Rangers.
- 40:52Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 40:53Speaker 7: It's just it's I don't remember a season like this
- 40:57Speaker 7: because I've grown up used to the Rangers losing for
- 41:01Speaker 7: sure and seeing lots of losing seasons for the Texas Rangers.
- 41:06Speaker 7: This one has just been unbelievably frustrating. Uh and and
- 41:14Speaker 7: so inconsistent.
- 41:15Speaker 11: But I can tell you if the Astros rally, the
- 41:18Speaker 11: Rangers will win tonight. If the Astros don't, the Rangers
- 41:22Speaker 11: will lose tonight.
- 41:24Speaker 8: Yeah. I'm not thrilled with I'm not thrilled with any
- 41:32Speaker 8: matchup right now. I don't look at it and say, oh,
- 41:35Speaker 8: that's a good matchup. It's just crazy. It is just crazy.
- 41:43Speaker 8: It's enough to turn me.
- 41:46Speaker 7: Oh the Astros score, congratulations, it's enough to turn me
- 41:49Speaker 7: off from being a baseball fan.
- 41:52Speaker 8: Yeah, that's how bad it's.
- 41:53Speaker 11: Chip, that's a lie. Your team used to be the
- 41:55Speaker 11: Washington Senators, Chip.

- 45:40Speaker 5: You're listening to Aggie Land's Home for Aggie Baseball, the
- 45:44Speaker 5: Astros and the Bombers Zoo eleven ninety three point seven fl.
- 45:54Speaker 20: It's been rough and rocket traveling, but I'm finally standing
- 45:59Speaker 20: up ryan on the ground after taking several readings. I'm
- 46:07Speaker 20: surprised to find my mind still fairly sound. I guess
- 46:14Speaker 20: Nashville was the roughest, but I know I've said the
- 46:17Speaker 20: same about them all. We received our education in the
- 46:26Speaker 20: cities of the nation.
- 46:28Speaker 7: Me and Paul Willie doesn't always sing that at his shows,
- 46:33Speaker 7: but when he came as part of MSc Opus one year,
- 46:37Speaker 7: he did sing that. And it was interesting to know
- 46:41Speaker 7: how many people were in the audience that had apparently
- 46:45Speaker 7: had no idea who Willy was and hadn't heard any.
- 46:48Speaker 8: Of his music.
- 46:50Speaker 7: Because when he did the line when you're stay in
- 46:54Speaker 7: a motel there, just don't leave nothing in your clothes,
- 46:58Speaker 7: there was an audible kind of muffled laughter slash gasp
- 47:03Speaker 7: for many members of the audience, and you could tell
- 47:07Speaker 7: they'd never heard that line before.
- 47:10Speaker 11: Were people standing up in front of you the whole.
- 47:11Speaker 8: Show that were not? No one stood up ever? Yeah, ever?
- 47:16Speaker 7: And then they you know, I mean everyone had the
- 47:20Speaker 7: polite opera clap. So it wasn't a lot of energy
- 47:25Speaker 7: in the building.
- 47:26Speaker 11: So the interesting thing is a long time ago on Saturday.
- 47:29Speaker 8: Not live.
- 47:30Speaker 11: Yeah, they had Van Morrison.
- 47:33Speaker 8: Okay music was a musical guests.
- 47:37Speaker 7: I hope they didn't tell him what song to sing
- 47:39Speaker 7: because they wouldn't have showed up.
- 47:40Speaker 11: No, and they did a skit in the stands. Okay, okay,
- 47:46Speaker 11: where a group of six friends were there to see
- 47:52Speaker 11: the concert and the girl in front of them was
- 47:57Speaker 11: standing up and rancing the whole time, right right okay,
- 48:00Speaker 11: And the whole time they're imploring them to please sit down, okay, okay,
- 48:07Speaker 11: over and over again. It didn't really matter, and she
- 48:10Speaker 11: just would not listen to them at all. I can't
- 48:14Speaker 11: even remember. There's the blonde warch actors with a kind
- 48:19Speaker 11: of a bigger nose, and so they're like so upset, okay,
- 48:28Speaker 11: and then finally they get her to sing sit down,
- 48:31Speaker 11: and he goes into moondance and it's really him playing
- 48:36Speaker 11: okay and goes into moon Dance and everybody.
- 48:39Speaker 8: Stands up.
- 48:42Speaker 11: There you go, Yes, I've been I've experienced that at
- 48:46Speaker 11: a Willie Nelson concert, many so many tickets. I think
- 48:51Speaker 11: I I think I saved somebody in the studio the
- 48:55Speaker 11: angst of being in that position.
- 48:59Speaker 8: Really, yeah, I think.
- 49:00Speaker 22: So.
- 49:02Speaker 7: I've been told that Van Morrison is uh prickly and
- 49:08Speaker 7: that you know, people come to the concert, you know
- 49:11Speaker 7: you want to hear certain songs and like Dylan, yes
- 49:15Speaker 7: that you're not gonna hear and but but people shout out, hey, you.
- 49:20Speaker 8: Know, sing Moon Dan sing you know, h free Bird, Yeah, exactly,
- 49:25Speaker 8: he might play free Bird. He might. He didn't like
- 49:28Speaker 8: that stuff. Brad Eye, girl, you ain't gonna You're probably
- 49:31Speaker 8: not gonna hear that at a Van Morrison concert. I'm
- 49:34Speaker 8: just telling you.
- 49:35Speaker 11: Well, I have not heard Blue Ice Crying in the rain.
- 49:39Speaker 8: He doesn't do that one, okay, yep.
- 49:41Speaker 11: And I guess I have not heard any hit by
- 49:45Speaker 11: Bob Dylan in a concert that I went to.
- 49:48Speaker 7: I heard one, okay, but I didn't realize it was
- 49:51Speaker 7: all Along to Watch Tower until long after.
- 49:54Speaker 11: Because Jimmy stole that from him. So Dunbow, it is
- 49:56Speaker 11: like blue Ice crying.
- 49:57Speaker 8: That might sound like all Along and watch Okay.
- 50:01Speaker 11: So that being said, if because Van Morrison's last concert
- 50:06Speaker 11: in the United States of America, he did eight shows,
- 50:11Speaker 11: and he played seven of them when he was supposed to,
- 50:14Speaker 11: and one show was canceled because he got sick. It
- 50:16Speaker 11: was around COVID came back and replayed that show.
- 50:19Speaker 8: Okay, I did not know that.
- 50:20Speaker 11: Yes, it was a week before my daughter moved to Providence.
- 50:24Speaker 8: Rhode Island, And you didn't go.
- 50:27Speaker 11: No, because it was the week before and it was
- 50:31Speaker 11: in Providence. The only show in the United States of America.
- 50:36Speaker 11: That year was in Providence, Rhode Island.
- 50:40Speaker 7: So that sounds like my experience with The Who at
- 50:43Speaker 7: the O two Arena in London.
- 50:48Speaker 8: Yeah, so have you not heard this story?
- 50:51Speaker 11: I thought it was here in Houston that they canceled
- 50:53Speaker 11: on you.
- 50:53Speaker 8: Oh they did.
- 50:55Speaker 7: I've been canceled twice by the Who because Roger Daltrey
- 50:59Speaker 7: has been having voice problems for years.
- 51:01Speaker 8: Yeah, but I've just been the.
- 51:03Speaker 11: He can't sing and Pete can't hear.
- 51:06Speaker 7: I've been the beneficiary of that a couple of times.
- 51:09Speaker 7: But I finally did get to see them with Brian
- 51:12Speaker 7: Wilson's version of the Beach Boys at the Cynthie Woods
- 51:17Speaker 7: Pavilion a couple of three summers ago.
- 51:19Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 51:20Speaker 7: So I and I had seen The Who at prime time,
- 51:23Speaker 7: like in like, you know, fifty years ago kind of thing.
- 51:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 51:27Speaker 7: I saw him at the biggest party in history after
- 51:29Speaker 7: Tommy came out.
- 51:31Speaker 11: I saw him at the biggest party in history Jacksonville, No,
- 51:35Speaker 11: in Dallas and Houston when Miller Lyte and Randy Quaid
- 51:38Speaker 11: had in a cotton bowl. Yes, in the cotton bowl, Okay,
- 51:42Speaker 11: And it was a pretty good it was a pretty
- 51:44Speaker 11: good set. It was fabulous, Thunderbird, Stevie, Ray Bawn and
- 51:47Speaker 11: the Who.
- 51:48Speaker 8: Okay, that's pretty good, but.
- 51:53Speaker 11: If you if you want to know the show I
- 51:56Speaker 11: enjoyed the most that Labor Day. That one day of
- 52:00Speaker 11: Labor Day.
- 52:01Speaker 8: Okay, was Jerry Jeff.
- 52:02Speaker 11: Walker playing in the air conditioning inside one of the
- 52:05Speaker 11: buildings at fair Park. Oh really in the air conditioning.
- 52:10Speaker 8: Even better, It didn't even it didn't matter.
- 52:12Speaker 11: Who it was. Chip, I was out of the sun.
- 52:14Speaker 8: I get it. Yeah, that's pretty good.
- 52:17Speaker 11: But Jerry Jeff was good. I mean I saw forty
- 52:19Speaker 11: bands that day.
- 52:20Speaker 8: Wow, Okay, I seen.
- 52:22Speaker 11: I saw Stevie twice.
- 52:23Speaker 24: That boy.
- 52:24Speaker 7: When you mentioned Labor Day that brought back the uh
- 52:27Speaker 7: Texas the Lewisville Pop Festival.
- 52:29Speaker 11: Did I just do you know that in the Get.
- 52:33Speaker 8: The Land which to who were part by the way.
- 52:35Speaker 11: In the led Zeppelin documentary that came out two years ago? Okay, yea,
- 52:41Speaker 11: they it was Louisville festival, Yes, I said, But I
- 52:45Speaker 11: saw that there were scenes from it, and I saw
- 52:48Speaker 11: this guy wearing a suit and tie and he looked
- 52:51Speaker 11: a lot like you.
- 52:52Speaker 8: No, that was not me. That was not me.
- 52:56Speaker 7: I will tell you that that guy that one man,
- 53:00Speaker 7: and had more clothes on than the entirety of the
- 53:04Speaker 7: rest of the audience that day.
- 53:07Speaker 11: Oh she went after you went to church.
- 53:09Speaker 8: I did, I did so, I was.
- 53:11Speaker 11: I was wearing clothes but thank goodness.
- 53:15Speaker 7: Well yeah, thank goodness. But you know, blue jean shorts
- 53:18Speaker 7: and a T shirt and flip flops. I mean, but
- 53:21Speaker 7: it was hot, I mean really hot.
- 53:25Speaker 8: But it it was August in Texas. It was hot.
- 53:28Speaker 7: It was Labor Day weekend. Labor Day weekend to ay
- 53:32Speaker 7: started the next day. It was hot, but it didn't
- 53:36Speaker 7: rain on us.
- 53:37Speaker 11: That's too bad.
- 53:38Speaker 8: So we had that going on.
- 53:38Speaker 11: That is where the Lewisville Mall is now.
- 53:41Speaker 7: Correct, man, I don't know. It was run off at
- 53:43Speaker 7: thirty five. I think it's before you got to the lake.
- 53:47Speaker 8: Yes.
- 53:49Speaker 7: By the way, the astros Di scored. How did they
- 53:53Speaker 7: get out of the top the bottom of the inche
- 53:56Speaker 7: so quickly?
- 53:56Speaker 8: What inning is it? I can't see you're in the
- 53:59Speaker 8: top of it. Okay, two to one.
- 54:02Speaker 11: You know what this means? Chip your Rangers adding tonight.
- 54:06Speaker 7: The Rangers are gonna win tonight, sackfly right after a
- 54:11Speaker 7: triple they caught they missed a triple because they hit
- 54:14Speaker 7: it to the triple Alley in that's five feet in
- 54:19Speaker 7: right center.
- 54:20Speaker 11: So they missed a home run by a foot and
- 54:22Speaker 11: but still scored a run.
- 54:23Speaker 8: There you go. Uh, the weather looks nice there by
- 54:29Speaker 8: the way.
- 54:30Speaker 11: I bet it the other day was sixty one degrees

- 54:34Speaker 7: And pull up the weather channel to see what the
- 54:36Speaker 7: temperature is San Francisco.
