- 0:00Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 0:02Speaker 2: All right, let's go. Happy Jingle Ball on Sale Week, friends.
- 0:06Speaker 2: Monday morning, just getting things rolling over here. Ricky Sanchez
- 0:09Speaker 2: has those three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 0:12Speaker 3: U2' s new album is going to feature the last song
- 0:14Speaker 3: Dolly Parton recorded before her death. So her 12-track album,
- 0:19Speaker 3: their 12-track album, Carnival de Luz, will feature a song
- 0:23Speaker 3: with Dolly called Torn. The song was described as, quote,
- 0:26Speaker 3: a tender country song. which obviously makes a lot of
- 0:30Speaker 3: sense for our Dolly. U2 is celebrating their 50th anniversary
- 0:34Speaker 3: this year, which is pretty wild. And their latest album
- 0:37Speaker 3: is set to drop on November 13th, which seems to
- 0:40Speaker 3: be when we are going to hear this song with Dolly.
- 0:44Speaker 3: The Titans are now 0-3. They lost to the Giants yesterday, 12-7.
- 0:50Speaker 3: On top of that, starting right guard Fernando Carmana left
- 0:53Speaker 3: with an ankle injury. And running back TyJay Spears injured
- 0:59Speaker 3: an ankle in the second half. It's not looking great, guys.
- 1:03Speaker 3: The Titans play the Ravens in Baltimore on Sunday. We're
- 1:06Speaker 3: obviously going to send a lot of positive vibes their way,
- 1:09Speaker 3: and hopefully everything works out and we can get a win.
- 1:11Speaker 3: Fingers crossed, okay, for everybody who is a fan of
- 1:15Speaker 3: the Titans. Zach said that yesterday he was yelling for
- 1:19Speaker 3: them to turn the game off.
- 1:21Speaker 4: My boyfriend and his sister were watching it in the
- 1:23Speaker 4: living room.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I was like, just stop already.
- 1:26Speaker 3: And as a Jets fan, I can relate. Gremlins 3
- 1:30Speaker 3: is getting pushed back to 2028. The long-anticipated third edition
- 1:36Speaker 3: of Gremlins is supposed to hit theaters next year. But
- 1:39Speaker 3: there's a new teaser trailer that came out, and it
- 1:42Speaker 3: has a new release date of October 6th of 2028.
- 1:44Speaker 3: It's a bummer, but considering that the second film came
- 1:48Speaker 3: out in June of 1990... We're going to be fine.
- 1:51Speaker 2: We can wait a little bit longer. I'll wait forever
- 1:53Speaker 2: for Gremlins 3. I cannot wait for more Gremlins.
- 1:56Speaker 3: We can wait a little bit longer. It's been a very,
- 1:58Speaker 3: very long time. Apparently, the delay is partially because of
- 2:02Speaker 3: the merging of Paramount and Warner Brothers. They don't want
- 2:04Speaker 3: any of their films that they have slated to compete
- 2:07Speaker 3: with each other or conflict with each other, which makes sense.
- 2:10Speaker 3: And the new Call of Duty film is supposed to
- 2:13Speaker 3: come out around the same time that Gremlins 3 was
- 2:16Speaker 3: supposed to come out.
- 2:17Speaker 5: So.
- 2:17Speaker 3: They're just pushing Gremlins 3. We're all still really excited.
- 2:20Speaker 3: We can't wait to see those little tiny gremlins. I
- 2:22Speaker 3: also relate very much to the gremlins, personally.
- 2:25Speaker 2: Because you're a gremlin?
- 2:27Speaker 3: I'm Ricky Sanchez, and those are the three things.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You need to know.
- 2:30Speaker 5: Wait, hold on.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Are you Gizmo, the cute little cuddly guy, or are
- 2:32Speaker 2: you a gremlin?
- 2:33Speaker 3: I'm like the cute little cuddly guy, but also don't
- 2:35Speaker 3: feed me when you're not supposed to feed me. And
- 2:38Speaker 3: feed me when you should feed me, because.
- 2:41Speaker 2: It goes both ways. The evil gremlins do start as
- 2:44Speaker 2: the little soft cuddly things, and then, yeah, you're right.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Yeah, it just depends on my mood.
- 2:49Speaker 2: Sure, that makes perfect sense. Thank you, Rick. You appreciate it.
- 2:52Speaker 2: We've got Preds tickets on the way. If you want
- 2:55Speaker 2: those for the first caller of the day, we've also
- 2:57Speaker 2: got a couple Jingle Ball artists on the way. We're
- 2:59Speaker 2: going to play Alex Warren in a minute. We're going
- 3:01Speaker 2: to play Stella Lefty. Just getting things going on this
- 3:04Speaker 2: Monday morning. We're glad you're here with us. It's Dominic
- 3:07Speaker 2: Fyke on the River.
- 3:08Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 3:10Speaker 2: Boston from Stella Lefty on the River. She is one
- 3:13Speaker 2: of our Jingle Ball artists. We announced it last week.
- 3:16Speaker 2: She's going to be here in December. The lineup is insane.
- 3:18Speaker 2: And the Capital One cardholder presale starts tomorrow morning. It's
- 3:22Speaker 2: a 48-hour presale tomorrow morning, 10 a.m. That Capital One
- 3:26Speaker 2: presale opens up. It is 107.5 The River. Good morning.
- 3:30Speaker 2: We have Ricky B. Ricky on the phone, joining Ricky, Zach,
- 3:35Speaker 2: and Mano in the morning. What's up, Ricky?
- 3:38Speaker 6: What's going on?
- 3:39Speaker 2: Explain the name to us. Tell us again why Ricky B.
- 3:42Speaker 2: Ricky is your name. My name's Ricky Bianucci, but I
- 3:45Speaker 2: always go by Ricky B.
- 3:46Speaker 5: Ricky.
- 3:47Speaker 2: I like that a lot. Ricky B.
- 3:49Speaker 5: Ricky.
- 3:49Speaker 2: It sounds good. And your last name, where is it from?
- 3:52Speaker 3: Is it like Italian?
- 3:54Speaker 5: You got it.
- 3:55Speaker 2: God, I'm so smart.
- 3:56Speaker 3: It's always so confusing when there's another Ricky in the
- 3:59Speaker 3: vicinity of me. I don't know how often that happens
- 4:02Speaker 3: to you, Ricky.
- 4:04Speaker 6: Not very often.
- 4:05Speaker 3: No, it always, it gets really confusing. See, my dad's
- 4:08Speaker 3: name is Rick, though. So my dad, obviously.
- 4:10Speaker 6: My dad's name's Rick as well.
- 4:12Speaker 1: Okay, see?
- 4:12Speaker 2: Do you guys have the same dad?
- 4:15Speaker 6: And my son's name's Ricky as well.
- 4:17Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Maybe it's like a Ricky thing that we end up
- 4:20Speaker 3: doing this. But like my dad's Rick. All my friends
- 4:24Speaker 3: call me Rick. Like once you get to a point
- 4:25Speaker 3: of knowing me for a long period of time, for
- 4:27Speaker 3: whatever reason, Ricky turns into Rick. So when my dad
- 4:30Speaker 3: and I are in the same vicinity, it's always so confusing.
- 4:33Speaker 3: Who are you talking to?
- 4:34Speaker 5: Sure.
- 4:37Speaker 3: So you decided to do that with your son and
- 4:39Speaker 3: make it really confusing for the two of you.
- 4:42Speaker 6: Absolutely absolutely but that's where the.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Be ricky comes in because like if somebody says ricky
- 4:47Speaker 2: they're talking to the son if somebody says ricky be
- 4:49Speaker 2: ricky obviously it's this man.
- 4:51Speaker 6: It's dad okay.
- 4:52Speaker 3: I guess you could do it that way that works
- 4:55Speaker 3: i like it do you plan on calling your son
- 4:57Speaker 3: ricky or are you gonna.
- 4:58Speaker 4: Call him rick we call him rj for short because
- 5:00Speaker 4: he's actually the fourth my grandpa's richard my dad's richard
- 5:04Speaker 4: i'm richard and my son's richard but he goes by rj.
- 5:07Speaker 3: This is so wild because my grandpa's Richard, my dad's Rick,
- 5:10Speaker 3: and I'm Ricky.
- 5:11Speaker 2: So you have to name your son Richard, Ricky, something
- 5:14Speaker 2: like that.
- 5:15Speaker 3: We've talked about it. We've discussed it. AJ and I
- 5:18Speaker 3: have discussed, like, are we going to keep this whole
- 5:20Speaker 3: lineage thing going or whatever?
- 5:22Speaker 2: You have to.
- 5:22Speaker 3: I don't know that I will.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Son or daughter, you know? I don't know. We have
- 5:25Speaker 2: a girl, Ricky, right here.
- 5:26Speaker 6: That's right.
- 5:26Speaker 2: This is a glitch in the matrix here with you
- 5:28Speaker 2: on the phone, but we should tell you that you're
- 5:30Speaker 2: the first caller of the day and you're getting Preds tickets.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Let's go.
- 5:36Speaker 2: Congratulations.
- 5:38Speaker 3: We love your energy. It was so nice to meet
- 5:40Speaker 3: another Ricky this early on a Monday morning.
- 5:43Speaker 6: Absolutely. It's a great day to be great.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Hang on the line, okay?
- 5:46Speaker 3: We got to get your info.
- 5:47Speaker 5: Yes, ma'am.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Another chance to win these tomorrow morning.
- 5:50Speaker 1: We've got them all week.
- 5:52Speaker 3: I experienced a first at the Lil Wayne concert Friday night.
- 5:58Speaker 3: One of the things that I never wanted to experience.
- 6:02Speaker 2: Did you get called up on stage to twerk?
- 6:04Speaker 3: Okay, Kevin, we're going to talk about it.
- 6:07Speaker 2: I think yes. Sounds like a yes to me. Right
- 6:10Speaker 2: after Taylor Swift, what happened to Ricky at the Lil
- 6:12Speaker 2: Wayne show that's never happened to her before?
- 6:14Speaker 3: And everyone else who was at the Lil Wayne show
- 6:17Speaker 3: Friday night.
- 6:17Speaker 2: We're going to find out next on The River.
- 6:19Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 6:22Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 6:23Speaker 2: Ricky went to see Lil Wayne at Bridgestone Friday night.
- 6:26Speaker 2: I'm sure it was a great show. But something happened
- 6:29Speaker 2: that wasn't so great.
- 6:31Speaker 3: I have been to, at this point, over 200 concerts
- 6:36Speaker 3: in my life, which is kind of a wild number,
- 6:38Speaker 3: but it's true. I'm not exaggerating. Probably 200 concerts.
- 6:42Speaker 2: If not more.
- 6:44Speaker 3: I have never, ever experienced this before at a concert. He, okay,
- 6:49Speaker 3: first off, the concert didn't start until 8.30, okay? Which
- 6:52Speaker 3: I was like, all right, it's a Friday.
- 6:54Speaker 2: That's fine.
- 6:55Speaker 3: I'll deal with it. I'm old now at this point.
- 6:57Speaker 3: I'm getting older and I can't stay out that super late,
- 7:00Speaker 3: especially when I need to wake up and go to
- 7:01Speaker 3: work the next morning. But I was like, okay, it's
- 7:04Speaker 3: a Friday.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Whatever.
- 7:05Speaker 5: We're going to make it work.
- 7:06Speaker 3: We get there around probably nine-ish. 2 Chainz is on.
- 7:10Speaker 3: 2 Chainz did great. Loved every second of it. I
- 7:14Speaker 3: was singing and dancing, having a great time. And then
- 7:16Speaker 3: we were like, all right, Lil Wayne's not going to
- 7:18Speaker 3: go on for a little while, okay? Because he's known
- 7:21Speaker 3: to be late. That's just a known thing. He's always late.
- 7:24Speaker 3: And we're like, fine, whatever. We can prepare for that.
- 7:27Speaker 3: That man did not take stage until 11.40 p.m.
- 7:30Speaker 5: What? What?
- 7:31Speaker 3: 11.40. I have never in my entire life, after going
- 7:41Speaker 3: to 200 plus concerts, ever experienced somebody that late to
- 7:46Speaker 3: a show.
- 7:47Speaker 4: The fact that you stayed and waited for him to
- 7:50Speaker 4: come on stage is extremely impressive because I would have
- 7:54Speaker 4: given him 15, maybe 30 minutes and then be like,
- 7:57Speaker 4: all right, I'm going home.
- 7:58Speaker 3: I was so excited to see him. This is my
- 7:59Speaker 3: first time seeing him. And I always loved him. Grew
- 8:03Speaker 3: up listening to his songs. Like high school was shaped
- 8:06Speaker 3: in part by Lil Wayne songs. So I was very
- 8:09Speaker 3: pumped to experience it for the first time. We almost
- 8:13Speaker 3: left on multiple occasions, though, because we were getting so frustrated.
- 8:16Speaker 2: How much did the crowd did leave?
- 8:18Speaker 3: A nice chunk. Yeah, it was packed out. The entire
- 8:21Speaker 3: place was sold out, packed out. And by the time
- 8:24Speaker 3: he actually took stage, I looked around because we had really,
- 8:26Speaker 3: really bad seats. We're like 300. So we can see everybody.
- 8:30Speaker 3: So many patches of people had left.
- 8:33Speaker 2: I would have.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Which makes sense. You're just you're waiting and waiting and
- 8:37Speaker 3: waiting and waiting. And there's no updates. We didn't get
- 8:39Speaker 3: a singular update of like, oh, he's late. He'll be
- 8:43Speaker 3: here soon. He got stuck in traffic. Whatever it could
- 8:47Speaker 3: have been.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Obviously, it wouldn't have been traffic. But you know what
- 8:49Speaker 2: I mean?
- 8:49Speaker 3: Like, no idea of what's actually happening. Just waiting and
- 8:53Speaker 3: waiting and waiting and waiting. The girl next to us,
- 8:55Speaker 3: it was her birthday.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Not anymore.
- 8:57Speaker 3: And we were so pumped. We were so pumped for her.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Because we were like, happy birthday. Like, her birthday weekend.
- 9:02Speaker 3: So we were like, happy birthday. Like, this is such
- 9:04Speaker 3: a great way to kick off your birthday weekend. I
- 9:06Speaker 3: felt so bad by the time we only stayed for,
- 9:10Speaker 3: I don't know, 20 minutes of the show.
- 9:12Speaker 6: Oh, no.
- 9:12Speaker 7: You should see that point.
- 9:14Speaker 4: You waited for him to come on. You already waited
- 9:16Speaker 4: so long. You got to stay for the whole show.
- 9:18Speaker 3: No, baby, there is no way. There is no way.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Once it hit midnight, you were out of there.
- 9:22Speaker 3: Yeah, there is no way.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I mean, this is kind of an inside question, but
- 9:25Speaker 2: I'm assuming all of these venues have curfews. Does he
- 9:28Speaker 2: then just have to pay for.
- 9:29Speaker 3: I don't know that Bridgestone does.
- 9:31Speaker 5: Really?
- 9:32Speaker 3: Because we were talking about this, whether or not Bridgestone
- 9:35Speaker 3: has a curfew, because we know Ascend does. We know
- 9:36Speaker 3: that Nissan does.
- 9:37Speaker 2: They're open, though.
- 9:39Speaker 3: And that's probably why they have curfews. I don't know
- 9:41Speaker 3: that Bridgestone does, because all of Broadway is loud as
- 9:44Speaker 3: hell all night.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a great point. There's no noise violation.
- 9:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Yeah, so I don't know that Bridgestone does.
- 9:50Speaker 4: According to my research, it says they do not have
- 9:56Speaker 4: a general public curfew for attendees based on local, city,
- 9:59Speaker 4: or state.
- 10:00Speaker 3: Yeah, because it's closed in and it's on Broadway.
- 10:03Speaker 2: I wonder if Lil Wayne then has to pay for
- 10:04Speaker 2: the overtime for all the employees that are still there.
- 10:07Speaker 3: I would think, and I don't think he can. cares
- 10:09Speaker 3: no i'm sure not i will say as annoyed as
- 10:11Speaker 3: i got and i literally was like i hate this
- 10:13Speaker 3: man right now what is the problem i feel so
- 10:16Speaker 3: disrespected and i'm sitting there and i'm like complaining about
- 10:19Speaker 3: him the second he went on stage i got so.
- 10:22Speaker 2: High you forgot all of it.
- 10:23Speaker 3: I got so excited but then like the excitement crashed
- 10:27Speaker 3: again because i was like i'm so tired what.
- 10:30Speaker 2: A roller coaster of emotions that show was Three things
- 10:34Speaker 2: you need to know. Just a bit after 7 o'clock
- 10:37Speaker 2: here on this Monday morning. Let's make it a great week. Friends,
- 10:40Speaker 2: Ricky's got those three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 10:43Speaker 3: The MTV VMAs were last night. I got some highlights
- 10:46Speaker 3: for you. Madonna kicked it off with her first performance
- 10:48Speaker 3: in over 20 years with both Sabrina Carpenter and Charli XCX,
- 10:52Speaker 3: which is pretty cool. Taylor Swift became the first recipient
- 10:55Speaker 3: of the Artist Director Honor. Her total wins at the
- 10:58Speaker 3: VMAs climbed to 33 last night. That means that she
- 11:02Speaker 3: is the most awarded artist at MTV VMA history. So
- 11:05Speaker 3: congrats to her. Nirvana received the Video Vanguard Lifetime Achievement Award.
- 11:11Speaker 3: BTS won Song of the Year with Swim. Madonna got
- 11:14Speaker 3: Artist of the Year. And Best New Artist went to
- 11:17Speaker 3: Sienna Spyro. Ian Rose is teaming up with the Preds
- 11:20Speaker 3: in Highland Yoga for a wellness day. This is really cool.
- 11:23Speaker 3: So on October 8th, the Bridgestone Arena is going to
- 11:26Speaker 3: have people gathering for a night of wellness yoga and
- 11:29Speaker 3: just like straight up good vibes, guys. Your ticket that
- 11:31Speaker 3: you buy includes Ian Rose yoga class that has an
- 11:35Speaker 3: instructor from Highland Yoga that's going to be there. You
- 11:38Speaker 3: get an Ian Rose summer sun smoothie, a Preds sweat towel,
- 11:43Speaker 3: and a National Predators game ticket to a select game,
- 11:46Speaker 3: which is awesome. You can grab tickets for this on
- 11:48Speaker 3: their website. And Hidden Valley Ranch. They're getting a lot
- 11:52Speaker 3: of publicity right now. Lots of people are talking about
- 11:54Speaker 3: Hidden Valley Ranch. Not because of, you know, how much
- 11:57Speaker 3: they love the flavor, which everybody does. But more so
- 12:00Speaker 3: because they're going full Halloween with a new color.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Oh, my God. I saw this. Is this real?
- 12:05Speaker 3: This is, yeah, their first ever seasonal product that they're doing.
- 12:09Speaker 3: It's called Spooky Ranch. It's a limited edition color of black.
- 12:13Speaker 3: The coloring comes from fruit juice and cocoa, and it
- 12:17Speaker 3: also has a glow-in-the-dark bottle, so it's got those extra
- 12:20Speaker 3: spooky vibes. You can find it exclusively at Walmart. A
- 12:23Speaker 3: lot of people thought it was fake. It is actually real.
- 12:26Speaker 3: It's genuinely black. It's not just a hue of black.
- 12:30Speaker 3: They made it straight-up black for Halloween. I'm Ricky Sanchez,
- 12:34Speaker 3: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I want to see it in real life. I want
- 12:37Speaker 2: to put it on salad.
- 12:38Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 12:38Speaker 2: This is weird. Thank you, Ricky. Appreciate it. We're getting
- 12:41Speaker 2: back into the music. This guy was also at the
- 12:43Speaker 2: VMAs last night.
- 12:43Speaker 5: He performed.
- 12:44Speaker 2: It's Bruno Mars. Right after Risk It All, we're learning
- 12:47Speaker 2: on this Monday morning. It is time for Zach's Facts next.
- 12:50Speaker 4: Class is in session.
- 12:53Speaker 5: Zach's Facts, brought to you by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 12:56Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Okay, since it's almost October, I figured I'd give you
- 13:01Speaker 4: a fact about October. Did you guys know that the
- 13:03Speaker 4: month of October is tied for first place with November
- 13:06Speaker 4: for the most presidents being born in that month?
- 13:09Speaker 2: So in October, there.
- 13:10Speaker 4: Were six presidents born, and November as well, six presidents,
- 13:14Speaker 4: the top two months.
- 13:15Speaker 5: Weird.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I wonder what their parents were doing. Valentine's Day!
- 13:20Speaker 3: I always think back when people tell me their birthdays,
- 13:23Speaker 3: I'm like, what was around that time?
- 13:26Speaker 2: But hey, if you're a kid out there, you were
- 13:27Speaker 2: born in October or November, you might be president. That's true,
- 13:30Speaker 2: and that's your fact of the day.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 13:34Speaker 3: If you haven't heard yet, we're getting a jingle ball.
- 13:36Speaker 3: It's official. We announced a lineup on Friday. All that
- 13:40Speaker 3: information is up on 107.5theriver.com. But we can tell you
- 13:44Speaker 3: right now, one of the guys that's going to be
- 13:46Speaker 3: playing is Alex Warren.
- 13:47Speaker 2: We love him.
- 13:48Speaker 3: So we want to build our dream set list for
- 13:51Speaker 3: Jingle Ball this year, specifically Alex Warren songs.
- 13:54Speaker 2: What are the best Alex Warren songs?
- 13:59Speaker 5: 615-737-9107.
- 14:00Speaker 2: My daughter is such a huge fan. We should get
- 14:01Speaker 2: her on the phone. She loves Alex Warren. She's obsessed
- 14:03Speaker 2: with the guy. Everywhere we go, she thinks she sees
- 14:05Speaker 2: Alex Warren. She's like, is that Alex Warren? It's never him.
- 14:09Speaker 2: But what are you hoping he performs at the Jingle
- 14:11Speaker 2: Ball in December? 615-737-9107. 1075, the river.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 14:19Speaker 2: There's Teddy Swims, another one of our Jingle Ball artists.
- 14:22Speaker 2: It's happening, guys, December 17th. The Capital One cardholder presale
- 14:26Speaker 2: starts tomorrow at 10 a.m. Alex Warren is also going
- 14:30Speaker 2: to be there. And right now we are building our
- 14:31Speaker 2: dream Alex Warren set list. We've got Sophia in Nashville
- 14:35Speaker 2: on the line. You're a big Alex Warren fan?
- 14:38Speaker 8: Yes, I have been a fan of Alex Warren since
- 14:40Speaker 8: he released his first single.
- 14:42Speaker 9: I remember when he first got really, really famous, and
- 14:45Speaker 9: I was so excited.
- 14:47Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 14:47Speaker 3: So then you're a huge fan. What song do you
- 14:49Speaker 3: think he should play at Jingle Ball?
- 14:51Speaker 9: Okay, I love Burning Down.
- 14:54Speaker 3: Hold on, here it is.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 15:01Speaker 3: That was my choice. I'm so glad that you picked
- 15:09Speaker 3: that because that's the one that I picked.
- 15:12Speaker 1: Yes!
- 15:12Speaker 9: Oh my gosh, it's so good.
- 15:14Speaker 3: It's so good. And there's obviously a lot of lore
- 15:16Speaker 3: behind the song, so it's even more impactful.
- 15:20Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 15:21Speaker 3: I love it.
- 15:22Speaker 6: It's like my favorite.
- 15:23Speaker 2: He's great.
- 15:24Speaker 3: I love it.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And going back to what you said about when he
- 15:26Speaker 2: started to get, you know, when he started to blow up,
- 15:27Speaker 2: you were so excited. It couldn't have happened to a
- 15:30Speaker 2: better guy. Like he is just, I'm so happy for
- 15:32Speaker 2: all of the success. He's the sweetest ever. So, Sophia,
- 15:36Speaker 2: thank you so much for calling and joining us. And
- 15:38Speaker 2: we'll hopefully see you December 17th at Jingle Ball.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I hope so.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Have a great day, love. Thank you so much for
- 15:44Speaker 3: calling in.
- 15:44Speaker 9: You too.
- 15:45Speaker 5: Bye.
- 15:46Speaker 2: He's obviously going to play Ordinary. That's going to be
- 15:48Speaker 2: a big.
- 15:48Speaker 7: Moment that night.
- 15:49Speaker 5: Yep, obviously.
- 15:50Speaker 3: Got to happen.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Got him so excited. I picked, if I was building
- 15:55Speaker 2: the set list, I picked the song Chasing Shadows because
- 15:57Speaker 2: I do think it's my daughter's favorite song. And when
- 15:59Speaker 2: we saw him last time we saw him, he did
- 16:01Speaker 2: not play it, and she was a little bummed. So
- 16:03Speaker 2: I really hope he plays this one. You're slipping through
- 16:05Speaker 2: my fingers, and I know I'll never reach you.
- 16:07Speaker 5: But you're part of me.
- 16:09Speaker 7: I can't let you go.
- 16:11Speaker 2: So I'll just keep holding on.
- 16:19Speaker 3: I think that would be a good live song because
- 16:22Speaker 3: of the buildup and everything.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Every single Alex Warren song gives you goosebumps. They're all
- 16:27Speaker 2: just built for goosebumps. Maybe he'll bring out Jelly Roll
- 16:30Speaker 2: and they'll do Bloodline.
- 16:42Speaker 3: I also want to go ahead and say that none
- 16:43Speaker 3: of us actually know how many songs he's going to do.
- 16:46Speaker 2: We have no idea.
- 16:47Speaker 3: We are just doing this as a fun, what our
- 16:50Speaker 3: dream kind of set list would be for this.
- 16:54Speaker 2: But hey, man, this is our show. You know, it's 107.5
- 16:56Speaker 2: The River's Jingle Ball. We're going to be the hosts
- 16:58Speaker 2: of the evening out there. So maybe we can whisper
- 17:00Speaker 2: in his ear what the people want to hear, you know?
- 17:01Speaker 3: We will also be there. I realized last week when
- 17:04Speaker 3: we did our announcement party, a lot of people were
- 17:07Speaker 3: asking if we were going to be there. We will
- 17:09Speaker 3: be hosting.
- 17:10Speaker 5: Yes.
- 17:10Speaker 3: So you will see us there. Don't you worry.
- 17:12Speaker 2: I've already started picking up my outfit.
- 17:15Speaker 7: I'm so excited.
- 17:16Speaker 3: How sparkly and glittery is it? Scale of 1 to 10.
- 17:18Speaker 5: 1,000.
- 17:18Speaker 2: Okay, perfect.
- 17:19Speaker 3: It has to be. It has to be.
- 17:21Speaker 2: Again, the Capital One Cardholder Presale starts tomorrow at 10 a.m.
- 17:24Speaker 2: That's a 48-hour presale. The public on sale is coming Friday,
- 17:28Speaker 2: but you can win them all week with the game
- 17:30Speaker 2: of the day, which we're playing next. About 20 minutes
- 17:33Speaker 2: from now, your chance to win your Jingle Ball tickets
- 17:34Speaker 2: on the river.
- 17:35Speaker 5: Ricky. zach and mano in the morning.
- 17:37Speaker 3: Seven five the rivers jingle ball presented by capital one
- 17:41Speaker 3: is coming to bridgestone arena december 17th we are so
- 17:44Speaker 3: pumped we have such an awesome lineup alex warren hillary
- 17:48Speaker 3: duff teddy swims one republic nickelback stella lefty the beaches
- 17:51Speaker 3: and jyt are all gonna be there kevin mano's game
- 17:55Speaker 3: of the day whoever wins that is gonna get tickets in.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I will be honest with you. I think this game
- 17:59Speaker 2: is going to be pretty hard this week. It's called
- 18:01Speaker 2: two seconds of jingle ball. We are going to play
- 18:04Speaker 2: two seconds worth of music.
- 18:06Speaker 5: Okay.
- 18:06Speaker 2: It's two songs, one second each. You have to tell
- 18:09Speaker 2: us who it is and what the song is. So
- 18:11Speaker 2: name the artists and the songs for your ticket to
- 18:14Speaker 2: see all of those artists that Ricky just named. And
- 18:16Speaker 2: she just read the lineup. So there you go. That's,
- 18:19Speaker 2: I mean, a little advantage in this game. You just,
- 18:21Speaker 2: you know who you're listening for here. We're going to
- 18:23Speaker 2: play the quick clips. If you can identify them. You're
- 18:27Speaker 2: going to Jingle Ball. It's a big ticket, so it's
- 18:29Speaker 2: a hard game. Here we go. That's literally it.
- 18:35Speaker 5: That's all?
- 18:36Speaker 2: That's it.
- 18:37Speaker 3: It's two seconds of Jingle Ball.
- 18:38Speaker 2: Okay. Do you want me to play it one more time?
- 18:41Speaker 5: Yes.
- 18:41Speaker 2: We're easing in here, so really pay attention to quick clips.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Here we go.
- 18:47Speaker 1: 615-737-9107.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Two of our Jingle Ball artists right there. If you
- 18:52Speaker 2: can identify them and tell us what songs they are,
- 18:55Speaker 2: you're going to see all of them. We're playing next.
- 18:58Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 19:01Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 19:02Speaker 3: Kevin Mano's Game of the Day presented by Genesis Diamonds
- 19:05Speaker 3: on 107.5 The River. This is a special Game of
- 19:08Speaker 3: the Day because we are getting a Jingle Ball here
- 19:10Speaker 3: in Nashville. It's happening at Bridgestone Arena December 17th. You
- 19:14Speaker 3: can buy your tickets starting tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
- 19:18Speaker 3: The Capital One cardholder's pre-sale starts tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.,
- 19:21Speaker 3: but right now you can win your way in.
- 19:23Speaker 2: Win them before you can even buy them.
- 19:25Speaker 3: If you can do two seconds of Jingle Ball.
- 19:29Speaker 2: George, did you hear the audio clue a minute ago?
- 19:30Speaker 6: I did not.
- 19:32Speaker 8: Uh-oh.
- 19:32Speaker 2: That doesn't bode well for you. We're going to play
- 19:35Speaker 2: this again. It's very quick. If you can identify both songs,
- 19:38Speaker 2: you're going to Jingle Ball, okay?
- 19:39Speaker 5: Okay.
- 19:39Speaker 2: All right, here we go, George. Listen closely. Can you
- 19:44Speaker 2: name those songs, George?
- 19:46Speaker 6: There's two in there?
- 19:49Speaker 3: It's a hard game, George. It's a hard game.
- 19:53Speaker 1: Okay.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Any guesses?
- 19:56Speaker 7: Whitney Houston... Bring it home. Okay.
- 19:59Speaker 2: We appreciate you calling, George. Thank you for listening. You
- 20:02Speaker 2: didn't win this one, but better luck next time. But
- 20:05Speaker 2: we love you.
- 20:05Speaker 3: Have a great day.
- 20:06Speaker 9: All week long until I win.
- 20:09Speaker 3: All right, please do.
- 20:10Speaker 1: We love it.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Have a great day.
- 20:11Speaker 5: All right, bye.
- 20:12Speaker 3: Bye, George.
- 20:14Speaker 2: Christina and Gallatin, George didn't get it, so now we
- 20:16Speaker 2: turn to you. I can play the audio clue for
- 20:19Speaker 2: you one more.
- 20:19Speaker 5: Time, okay?
- 20:20Speaker 9: Okay.
- 20:21Speaker 2: Okay, here we go. Name both of these. Can you
- 20:25Speaker 2: do it? Two seconds of Jingle Ball. Do you know
- 20:27Speaker 2: what songs those are?
- 20:30Speaker 9: The first one.
- 20:31Speaker 6: Is What Dreams Are Made Of by Hilary Duff.
- 20:34Speaker 5: Yep.
- 20:35Speaker 9: And the second one is 20 Stars, One Republic. Oh,
- 20:38Speaker 9: my God. Yes, ma'am.
- 20:39Speaker 5: Yes, Christina.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Yes, yes.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Dude, crazy.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I thought maybe this game would go on for like
- 20:46Speaker 2: an hour and it would take forever, but you did it.
- 20:49Speaker 2: You just won Jingle Ball tickets before you can even
- 20:51Speaker 2: buy them.
- 20:52Speaker 5: Yay, yes.
- 20:53Speaker 9: I was so scared to call.
- 20:54Speaker 6: I didn't think I was going to get it right.
- 20:56Speaker 3: Well, good thing you did because it all worked out.
- 20:58Speaker 6: Oh, that's awesome. I'm so excited.
- 20:59Speaker 1: All right, love.
- 21:00Speaker 3: We're going to put you on hold for just a second.
- 21:02Speaker 3: We got to get your info. We can't wait to
- 21:03Speaker 3: see you there at our first ever Jingle Ball.
- 21:06Speaker 9: Thank you so much.
- 21:07Speaker 6: I appreciate it, guys.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Thank you. That was impressive. We're doing it again tomorrow.
- 21:11Speaker 2: We're doing it all week. Two seconds of Jingle Ball.
- 21:13Speaker 2: You really got to have your ears turned all the
- 21:16Speaker 2: way up. Is that an expression? It is now.
- 21:19Speaker 1: Three things you need to know.
- 21:21Speaker 7: Let's go.
- 21:22Speaker 2: It is just past 8 o'clock on this Monday morning.
- 21:24Speaker 2: Thank you for starting your week with us. Ricky's got
- 21:25Speaker 2: those three things presented by Mark Spain Real Estate.
- 21:28Speaker 3: Sabrina Carpenter is returning to acting. She's been cast as
- 21:31Speaker 3: Ginger Rogers in the upcoming Fred Astaire biopic with Tom Holland,
- 21:35Speaker 3: who is set to play Astaire. Margaret Qualley is also
- 21:38Speaker 3: confirmed to play his sister and original dance partner, Adele Astaire.
- 21:42Speaker 3: Director Paul King said he could not imagine bringing these
- 21:45Speaker 3: legendary performers to life without Tom Holland, Margaret Qualley, and
- 21:48Speaker 3: Sabrina Carpenter by his side. There's no official release date
- 21:52Speaker 3: for the movie just yet, but pre-production is set to
- 21:55Speaker 3: start at the beginning of next year. So hopefully we
- 21:58Speaker 3: get it soon. I'm really excited to see this one, honestly,
- 22:00Speaker 3: because Tom Holland is number one phenomenal actor, but people
- 22:04Speaker 3: forget that he's trained to dance. So the fact that
- 22:07Speaker 3: he's going to play Fred Astaire is fascinating because that's,
- 22:12Speaker 3: a really tough person to mimic how they dance. So
- 22:15Speaker 3: I'm really curious to see this. And I think he's
- 22:18Speaker 3: a great person to even try to get close to
- 22:20Speaker 3: Fred Astaire when it comes to his dancing capabilities. The
- 22:24Speaker 3: first Meet Cute Con is coming to Nashville. This is
- 22:27Speaker 3: a new fan convention, celebrating the stories, stars, and small
- 22:31Speaker 3: town charm that we love. It is set for Friday,
- 22:34Speaker 3: November 6th through Sunday, November 8th. If you're a fan
- 22:37Speaker 3: of One Tree Hill, Virgin River, and The Way Home,
- 22:40Speaker 3: you're going to love this opportunity to meet the cast
- 22:43Speaker 3: with Q & As and autograph sessions. Tickets and info
- 22:46Speaker 3: are on their website, meetcutecon.com. And Instagram, they have a
- 22:51Speaker 3: new soft launch tool for relationships. It's an AI-powered feature
- 22:56Speaker 3: that lets you blur or pixelate your romantic partner in photos.
- 23:00Speaker 3: Subtle relationships, those reveals, those little kind of soft launches
- 23:04Speaker 3: are way more popular than a hard launch among younger users.
- 23:09Speaker 3: So this is kind of like for the younger user.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Although I will say it might sound like a good
- 23:14Speaker 3: idea to kind of keep things chill and do a
- 23:17Speaker 3: soft launch when you're first dating. There is one matchmaker, though,
- 23:20Speaker 3: who thinks that blurring an entire person may be taking
- 23:23Speaker 3: the trend just a little too far. I'm Ricky Sanchez,
- 23:27Speaker 3: and those are the three things you need to know.
- 23:29Speaker 2: Why not just not post the picture?
- 23:31Speaker 5: You know?
- 23:32Speaker 3: I guess it's kind of fun. It's like this fun
- 23:35Speaker 3: game to see if anybody guesses who it is or whatever.
- 23:38Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 23:40Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 23:40Speaker 2: I would just hate to be the person you open
- 23:41Speaker 2: Instagram and you're like, oh, what did my girlfriend post?
- 23:44Speaker 2: And you're like, oh.
- 23:45Speaker 3: I gave AJ a fake name for months. Oh, really?
- 23:49Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
- 23:49Speaker 2: We got to hear that story one day. I love that.
- 23:53Speaker 5: Thank you, Ricky.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Here's Taylor Swift getting back into it. Olivia Dean and
- 23:56Speaker 2: Harry Styles both on the way as well on the river.
- 23:59Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Kevin needs some help, and it's help that we can't
- 24:03Speaker 3: give him. It's Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning
- 24:05Speaker 3: on 107.5 The River. He's experiencing something with his son, Riley,
- 24:09Speaker 3: who's eight years old, for the first time, and both...
- 24:13Speaker 3: Zach and I don't have kids, so we don't really
- 24:15Speaker 3: have any skin in this game. Skin.
- 24:17Speaker 2: That's interesting.
- 24:19Speaker 3: It has to do with skin. We're going to need
- 24:21Speaker 3: your help at some point. Explain what's happening, Kevin.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Well, not to put the guy on blast or anything
- 24:25Speaker 2: perfectly normal and natural, but just like overnight, it's time
- 24:28Speaker 2: to go deodorant shopping. Like, it just happened. Like, one day,
- 24:32Speaker 2: didn't need it. The next day, oh, my dear God.
- 24:35Speaker 2: Where are we? Do you think it was like maybe.
- 24:38Speaker 4: Something that he ate differently the night before that made
- 24:41Speaker 4: him like protrude a different aroma? No, I think he's
- 24:44Speaker 4: he's playing a few different sports right now. He's got
- 24:46Speaker 4: soccer and he's got football. And I think that just
- 24:48Speaker 4: a combination of of, you know, a few days in
- 24:51Speaker 4: a row of athletics really.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Little boys are also known to not be super efficient
- 24:57Speaker 3: in the shower.
- 24:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:59Speaker 3: So that doesn't help the situation either?
- 25:02Speaker 2: I think this would be my question because he is
- 25:03Speaker 2: my only son. You know, I have an older daughter.
- 25:05Speaker 2: But how soon after the deodorant enters the picture does
- 25:10Speaker 2: the rest of the puberty train follow?
- 25:13Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 25:13Speaker 2: Like, what am I in store for here?
- 25:15Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 25:17Speaker 4: Did you? Also, how did you break it to him?
- 25:20Speaker 4: Were you like, buddy, you smell bad.
- 25:22Speaker 2: We got to go to the store.
- 25:22Speaker 3: He hasn't said anything yet, have you?
- 25:24Speaker 5: No, I have.
- 25:24Speaker 2: Probably a little softer than that. Oh, you have?
- 25:26Speaker 1: Okay.
- 25:26Speaker 2: I made sure that he had more soap in his
- 25:28Speaker 2: shower because, again, little boy is not the best in
- 25:29Speaker 2: the shower. If they run out of soap or shampoo,
- 25:31Speaker 2: they're not telling anybody. They just don't have it anymore.
- 25:33Speaker 3: Insane.
- 25:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 25:35Speaker 2: So I had to make sure he was ready. And,
- 25:36Speaker 2: you know, we talked about deodorant. He's looking forward to it.
- 25:39Speaker 2: So he's on board. We had the conversation. He thinks
- 25:41Speaker 2: it's kind of funny, if anything. But 615-737-9107. If there's
- 25:46Speaker 2: anything else I should be aware of, the timeline of
- 25:50Speaker 2: these events, how quickly it all starts happening now.
- 25:53Speaker 3: Maybe suggestions for deodorant as well.
- 25:54Speaker 2: That's a good one. That's a good one.
- 25:56Speaker 3: Because, you know, maybe there are deodorants that are better
- 25:58Speaker 3: for stinky little boys than they are.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Than other ones.
- 26:02Speaker 3: So any suggestions on those as well?
- 26:04Speaker 2: 615-737-9107. I'll take whatever you got.
- 26:08Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I had asked for some parenting advice a few minutes
- 26:13Speaker 2: ago on the river. A boy, eight-year-old boy, starts to
- 26:17Speaker 2: need deodorant. Like, where are we at here? How long
- 26:19Speaker 2: until the rest of the puberty follows along? We have
- 26:22Speaker 2: Liz and Mount Juliet on the line. Do you have
- 26:24Speaker 2: any advice, any thoughts, stories here, Liz?
- 26:27Speaker 9: So I've got a 12-year-old. He had to start deodorant
- 26:31Speaker 9: about 8, 9. So I'm filling you on the sink.
- 26:36Speaker 9: Things to check. Does he wear a hoodie often to
- 26:40Speaker 9: make sure he's changing out the hoodie and washing it?
- 26:44Speaker 9: Backpacks are also something because they are up against their bodies.
- 26:49Speaker 5: Sure.
- 26:49Speaker 2: Disgusting. point and you know what sometimes i'll find randomly
- 26:53Speaker 2: like dirty socks that have been in his backpack for
- 26:55Speaker 2: like two weeks and oh my god yeah.
- 26:58Speaker 9: Yeah and henry wearing socks that was a big issue
- 27:02Speaker 9: with my kiddos making sure that he is washing his
- 27:07Speaker 9: hair well because my kid did not know that you
- 27:10Speaker 9: have to like Lather up your hands.
- 27:12Speaker 3: Boys just like don't understand for some reason. Like it
- 27:16Speaker 3: doesn't compute for boys of like how to thoroughly wash
- 27:20Speaker 3: yourself in the shower. That seems to be a common
- 27:23Speaker 3: thing for a lot of young boys.
- 27:24Speaker 2: When he goes to that bathroom, he's a caveman. And
- 27:26Speaker 2: I don't even like to go in there and like
- 27:28Speaker 2: clean it because it's just it's like, no, I don't know.
- 27:31Speaker 2: It's not a room I ever care to go in.
- 27:34Speaker 9: And that's very true. We also had to, like, shampoo
- 27:37Speaker 9: his carpet because, like, he was just leaving his dirty
- 27:40Speaker 9: clothes all over the place and they were disgusting.
- 27:43Speaker 3: These are all fun things for you to look forward to, Kevin.
- 27:46Speaker 5: Love it.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Thank you for calling, Liz. I have a checklist now
- 27:49Speaker 2: when I get home.
- 27:50Speaker 9: You probably won't hit puberty for a couple more years, though.
- 27:53Speaker 2: Me?
- 27:54Speaker 6: It's the middle foot.
- 27:56Speaker 3: Well, Kevin, sometimes you don't sound like you hate people.
- 27:59Speaker 2: It's coming soon, I promise. Liz, we hope you have.
- 28:04Speaker 3: A great day.
- 28:05Speaker 6: Have a good day, guys.
- 28:06Speaker 3: Bye, love.
- 28:06Speaker 6: See you, Liz.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Jessica in Mount Juliet. How old is your son?
- 28:12Speaker 8: He is eight years old, and his name is Riley
- 28:15Speaker 8: as well.
- 28:15Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh.
- 28:16Speaker 2: Twinsies.
- 28:17Speaker 7: Love that.
- 28:18Speaker 3: Are you going through a similar situation right now where
- 28:21Speaker 3: out of nowhere you're like, oh, we have to have
- 28:23Speaker 3: a deodorant talk?
- 28:25Speaker 8: I'm not there yet, but I know it's coming soon.
- 28:28Speaker 8: So I bought a book called Guy Stuff.
- 28:31Speaker 6: The body book for boys, and it.
- 28:33Speaker 8: Lays out all of the things that.
- 28:36Speaker 3: Are about to happen.
- 28:37Speaker 5: Wow.
- 28:38Speaker 3: That's a really good idea, Jessica, because I remember when
- 28:40Speaker 3: I was younger that... You know, I had a bunch
- 28:43Speaker 3: of books that talked about the menstrual cycle so that
- 28:45Speaker 3: I understood what that was, because obviously that's the other
- 28:49Speaker 3: end of it for girls. They got to learn that.
- 28:51Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 28:52Speaker 8: For my daughter, she's 16 now, but when she was
- 28:54Speaker 8: going through puberty, we had to get the American Girl
- 28:57Speaker 8: books and they helped so much. When she was like
- 28:59Speaker 8: too embarrassed to ask me, she would just go look
- 29:02Speaker 8: in the book and get her answers.
- 29:03Speaker 4: That's actually really, really smart. And Kevin, your kids love
- 29:06Speaker 4: to read. So this would be like great for them.
- 29:08Speaker 2: For sure. This is great. I wrote it down. I'm
- 29:10Speaker 2: going to get the book today.
- 29:11Speaker 3: All right.
- 29:12Speaker 6: Awesome. Good luck.
- 29:13Speaker 2: Thank you, Jessica. Good luck to you too. When is
- 29:17Speaker 2: your Riley's birthday?
- 29:19Speaker 9: February 8th.
- 29:21Speaker 2: Okay, mine's May 24th. I didn't know if they were,
- 29:23Speaker 2: you know, truly twins.
- 29:24Speaker 3: That would have been insane.
- 29:25Speaker 2: Honestly, I would have lost my mind. That's awesome. Thank you.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Have a great day. I'm going to get the book.
- 29:30Speaker 9: Okay, thank you.
- 29:31Speaker 3: Have a good day.
- 29:31Speaker 1: Bye.
- 29:32Speaker 5: Bye, love.
- 29:32Speaker 2: And I just got to sing this because it's in
- 29:34Speaker 2: my head. Puberty, puberty, puberty. Kevin, Kevin, stop it. There
- 29:38Speaker 2: is literally no way.
- 29:40Speaker 3: Reason for any of that. Just want to go ahead
- 29:43Speaker 3: and throw that out there.
- 29:44Speaker 5: Ricky, Zach, and Mano in the morning.
- 29:47Speaker 1: On 107.5 The River.
- 29:48Speaker 2: If you put LOL or ha ha ha at the
- 29:51Speaker 2: end of your texts, you are similar to Ricky and Zach.
- 29:53Speaker 2: I don't do that. It's 107.5 The River. What exactly
- 29:56Speaker 2: are you conveying with that?
- 29:58Speaker 3: It depends. A lot of times it's just to make
- 30:01Speaker 3: sure that you know that I'm joking because people don't
- 30:03Speaker 3: understand tone and text. Other times it's just like if
- 30:07Speaker 3: I were having a conversation with you, I would have
- 30:09Speaker 3: a little giggle at the end of what I said.
- 30:11Speaker 2: There you go.
- 30:14Speaker 5: Okay.
- 30:14Speaker 1: All right.
- 30:15Speaker 2: So here we go. If that's you, this is the
- 30:17Speaker 2: Daily Double Tap for you.
- 30:18Speaker 5: Here it is.
- 30:19Speaker 7: Do you know what I'm not going to stop doing?
- 30:21Speaker 7: I'm not going to stop putting ha ha ha or
- 30:23Speaker 7: LOL at the end of a text message. And you
- 30:25Speaker 7: want to know why? Because I didn't have a tablet
- 30:27Speaker 7: in the restaurant when I was a kid.
- 30:28Speaker 4: I had to deal with what was going on around
- 30:30Speaker 4: me because I didn't wear headphones all over the place.
- 30:33Speaker 7: I had to deal with the harsh, cruel realities of
- 30:35Speaker 7: the world. So if I want to put a ha
- 30:37Speaker 7: ha ha or an LOL at the end of a
- 30:39Speaker 7: text message, maybe that's because it makes me feel safe.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Amen and amen. I just feel like it feels so
- 30:47Speaker 2: much more normal. Like, Kevin, if you text me and said, hey, Zach,
- 30:50Speaker 2: I'd be like, what do you want, LOL? Like, just
- 30:52Speaker 2: so you know, it's like in a laughing matter.
- 30:55Speaker 5: It's a playful text.
- 30:56Speaker 2: It feels like a tick or something. Like, you can't...
- 30:59Speaker 2: I don't know. That's weird to me. Well, you're weird
- 31:03Speaker 2: to all of us, so.
- 31:03Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. Also, sometimes Kevin does say things, and I'm like,
- 31:07Speaker 3: I don't know if that was a joke or not.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Yeah, and especially when you end it in just a period,
- 31:12Speaker 4: I'm like, well, now Kevin's mad.
- 31:13Speaker 5: Well, I type.
- 31:15Speaker 2: As if it's, you know, grammatically correct, as I feel.
- 31:18Speaker 3: Human beings do. Most of the time, yes.
- 31:20Speaker 2: I mean, unless I have a typo or something.
- 31:22Speaker 3: You put periods.
- 31:23Speaker 2: It doesn't mean that it's grammatically correct, though. I like
- 31:25Speaker 2: punctuation in my texts, and I guess that makes me
- 31:27Speaker 2: an old man.
- 31:27Speaker 1: It does.
- 31:29Speaker 2: LOL.
- 31:29Speaker 3: Add it to the list.
- 31:31Speaker 2: You didn't do a chuckle. I wonder why.
- 31:35Speaker 3: I wonder why there was no chuckle. 107.5, The River.
