  Speaker 1: not commanded you be drawn and courageous, do not be frightened,

  Speaker 1: is with you forever with you whenever you go. So

  Speaker 1: in that scripture, the I'm gonna the backstory for that scripture.

  Speaker 1: The story of Joshua begins as the Israelites stand on
• 9:31
  Speaker 1: the thresh threshold of the Promised Land. Moses, the Great Leader,
• 9:37
  Speaker 1: has died and Joshua is appointed as his successor. The

  Speaker 1: responsibility before him is enumorous. Let leaked in entire nation

  Speaker 1: into unknown territory, conquer strong cities, and fulfill God's promise.

  Speaker 1: Doubt and fear could easily have overwhelmed Joshua, but instead

  Speaker 1: God addresses him with the charge found in Joshua one

  Speaker 1: and nine. This is not only a commandment, but it's
• 10:09
  Speaker 1: a reassurance that the same God who guided poses would
• 10:13
  Speaker 1: be with Joshua every step of the way. So that
• 10:17
  Speaker 1: is just a little bad back story on that scripture.

  Speaker 1: So the three things that I would love for you
• 10:24
  Speaker 1: guys to take away from this lesson today and to
• 10:28
  Speaker 1: incorporate into that that you are doing. So. First thing

  Speaker 1: is God's called God called us to courage. Joshua was
• 10:48
  Speaker 1: facing a daunting task. He calls each of us to
• 10:52
  Speaker 1: stand strong even when what lies ahead seems overwhelming. How
• 10:58
  Speaker 1: many of you guys have been given a diagnosis, have
• 11:00
  Speaker 1: been given told something that this is gonna happen, This
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: is gonna happen. And all you see is all you
• 11:07
  Speaker 1: see is whatever they're telling you. All you see is
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: the bad things. You don't see the prom If we
• 11:14
  Speaker 1: look at the promise of God, he says that by
• 11:16
  Speaker 1: Jesus stripe that we are here. So if we are here,
• 11:19
  Speaker 1: we are here. So we don't have to take in
• 11:21
  Speaker 1: those things that that people give us. So we have
• 11:24
  Speaker 1: to all those things that we face, all those things
• 11:27
  Speaker 1: that come at us. We still have to stand on
• 11:29
  Speaker 1: his word, and we have to stand strong on his
• 11:31
  Speaker 1: word and not get overwhelmed when we when things start
• 11:34
  Speaker 1: to come at us. Y'all, we have to give God
• 11:36
  Speaker 1: his word back. He wants us to give his word
• 11:38
  Speaker 1: back because he wants to know that we know his word.
• 11:42
  Speaker 1: He wants to be assured that we are standing on
• 11:45
  Speaker 1: his word. So how else would he know that we
• 11:47
  Speaker 1: know his word if we're not giving it back to
• 11:49
  Speaker 1: him as well as living it, operating in it. He
• 11:54
  Speaker 1: can see these things through us. Another thing it is,
• 11:58
  Speaker 1: he said, we're not meant to do it alone. The
• 12:01
  Speaker 1: promise said, the Lord your God will be with you
• 12:04
  Speaker 1: whatever you go through, it is a reminder that God
• 12:08
  Speaker 1: never sends us into a battle by ourselves. He didn't
• 12:12
  Speaker 1: put us in this world by ourself. We're not out
• 12:14
  Speaker 1: here finding for ourselves. We're not out here alone. To
• 12:17
  Speaker 1: allow you to come in contact with people that will
• 12:19
  Speaker 1: will help you along the way. Not only that, he
• 12:22
  Speaker 1: said he left the Holy Spirit. He left the Holy
• 12:25
  Speaker 1: Spirit to lead God and direct us. So if he
• 12:29
  Speaker 1: left the Holy Spirit to lead God in direct us,
• 12:31
  Speaker 1: he left something with us. He left the comfortable with us.
• 12:33
  Speaker 1: He left us with something so that we wouldn't be
• 12:36
  Speaker 1: alone on this journey. So how many of us recognize
• 12:42
  Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit? How many of us have invited the
• 12:44
  Speaker 1: Holy Spirit to come in and do what God have
• 12:47
  Speaker 1: left him here to do for us? He said this discouragement,
• 12:54
  Speaker 1: but not definite. Fear and discouragement will come. But God
• 12:59
  Speaker 1: commands us not to let them rule us, not to
• 13:03
  Speaker 1: let them rule our heart, and not to let them
• 13:07
  Speaker 1: take over His presence. And it's in everything that we
• 13:17
  Speaker 1: do we allow him to come in and be. We
• 13:23
  Speaker 1: apply Joshua one of nine to our lives. How can
• 13:28
  Speaker 1: we apply that to our lives? How how do you
• 13:33
  Speaker 1: acknowledge the Father every day. So every day we should
• 13:38
  Speaker 1: start each day with a courage deflation, beginning your morning
• 13:43
  Speaker 1: by reciting Joshua one or nine, allowed reminding yourself that
• 13:47
  Speaker 1: strength encourage yours through God, and anything is possible. He said,
• 13:52
  Speaker 1: all things are possible. He said, seeking for the King
• 13:55
  Speaker 1: of He didn't say some things. He didn't say he
• 14:00
  Speaker 1: didn't say most things. He said all things, all things. So, y'all,
• 14:11
  Speaker 1: you have to believe that when you begin to face challenges,
• 14:17
  Speaker 1: when challenges begin to come, when things begin to come
• 14:19
  Speaker 1: up against you, you got to learn how to go
• 14:21
  Speaker 1: through God, and you got to know how to go
• 14:25
  Speaker 1: to Him in prayer. Whenever anxiety or discouragement creeps in pause, pray,
• 14:37
  Speaker 1: and that's God for strength and courage to move forward. Y'all.
• 14:41
  Speaker 1: He's given you the strength, he's given you courage, He's
• 14:43
  Speaker 1: given you everything that you need on the inside of you.
• 14:46
  Speaker 1: So it's up to us to tap into those things
• 14:47
  Speaker 1: so that He can and move in our lives. A
• 14:53
  Speaker 1: lot of we get stuck in the things that we
• 14:56
  Speaker 1: do because we think that we have to do it
• 14:58
  Speaker 1: by ourselves, and we don't want to allow the Holy
• 15:00
  Speaker 1: Spirit to lead us. We don't even nourish the Holy Spirit.
• 15:06
  Speaker 1: But he just wants He just wants to be a
• 15:08
  Speaker 1: part of our life. He just wants to be a
• 15:11
  Speaker 1: part of us. When you see someone else struggling, share
• 15:16
  Speaker 1: this verse with them. God, we're supposed to be helped,
• 15:19
  Speaker 1: make one to another, be a source of courage to others,
• 15:22
  Speaker 1: multiplying the faith within our community. Because when we begin
• 15:26
  Speaker 1: to share the things that God has done for us,
• 15:28
  Speaker 1: and when we begin to share how He's moving in
• 15:30
  Speaker 1: our life, y'all, it will triple and it will ripple
• 15:34
  Speaker 1: like a It will ripple like a wave. You see
• 15:39
  Speaker 1: the rivers of waters flow. I'm telling you share His goodness.
• 15:46
  Speaker 1: So today I really want to talk about courage and
• 15:52
  Speaker 1: the courage that comes not from ourselves but for the
• 15:56
  Speaker 1: present and promise of God. Let's listen again to the
• 16:00
  Speaker 1: words spoken to Joshua as he stood on the edge
• 16:04
  Speaker 1: of the unknown. Have I not commended you? Be strong
• 16:10
  Speaker 1: and courageous, Do not be afraid, not be discouraged, for
• 16:16
  Speaker 1: the Lord your God is with you. And wherever you go,
• 16:22
  Speaker 1: Joshua will face daunting challenges, the loss of Moses, the
• 16:27
  Speaker 1: way of leading God's people, and the uncertainty of entering
• 16:32
  Speaker 1: a new land. Perhaps you too are standing on the
• 16:36
  Speaker 1: edge of your unknown. Maybe it's a new job, from
• 16:41
  Speaker 1: relationship illness, or a dream that feels too big to claim.
• 16:47
  Speaker 1: Fear and discouragement can feel so overwhelming. But notice what
• 16:54
  Speaker 1: God says, not gently, but as a command. He said,
• 17:01
  Speaker 1: be strong, be greage, do not be afraid, and do
• 17:09
  Speaker 1: not be discouraged. Why not because Joshua was strong enough,
• 17:18
  Speaker 1: or fearless enough, or never felt anxious, but because the Lord,
• 17:23
  Speaker 1: your God will be with you wherever you go. God's
• 17:28
  Speaker 1: presence is the adonnement to our fears. It is the
• 17:35
  Speaker 1: reason we can take the next step, even trembling, even unsure.
• 17:43
  Speaker 1: It is the promise that we are never alone no
• 17:48
  Speaker 1: matter where the journey leads. God doesn't only command us
• 17:52
  Speaker 1: to be brave, He empowered us through his presence. Today,
• 17:59
  Speaker 1: whatever you're failing, hear God's voice as he spoke to Joshua.
• 18:08
  Speaker 1: You are not forgotten, You are not alone. So be strong,
• 18:16
  Speaker 1: be courageous, for God is with you no matter what
• 18:24
  Speaker 1: season you're in new beginnings, on certain transitions, aredotting challenges,
• 18:33
  Speaker 1: remember God's presence is strong, and it's stronger than ever before,
• 18:40
  Speaker 1: Stronger than any of your greatest fears. When you step
• 18:45
  Speaker 1: forward in faith, you are never alone. The same guy
• 18:49
  Speaker 1: who called jockus and equipped him and gave him the
• 18:55
  Speaker 1: right to occupy, he gonna do the same for you
• 18:58
  Speaker 1: today and every single day. Let us pray, Lord, fill
• 19:06
  Speaker 1: us with your courage. Father, lead us as we step
• 19:11
  Speaker 1: forward in faith to face our giant follow We trust you,
• 19:17
  Speaker 1: We trust that the presence will be with us even
• 19:21
  Speaker 1: when we're unclear. We thank you that you'll never leave
• 19:26
  Speaker 1: us nor forsake us. Help us to remember in every
• 19:30
  Speaker 1: moment that wherever we go, you're with us. Father, we
• 19:35
  Speaker 1: ask that you would go before us, smoothing out every mountain,
• 19:38
  Speaker 1: every cricket roll, leveling every mountain, Father, allowing us to
• 19:42
  Speaker 1: make it to and from our destination. Lord God Father,
• 19:46
  Speaker 1: your word tells us that we have to be in
• 19:47
  Speaker 1: this world or not other world. So Father, we asking
• 19:50
  Speaker 1: that you will allow the Holy Spirit to lead God
• 19:53
  Speaker 1: in directness, that we may catch up with our destiny,
• 19:56
  Speaker 1: that we may catch up with that that you have
• 19:57
  Speaker 1: already preordained for us. To Jeremiah twenty nine and eleven,
• 20:02
  Speaker 1: your word said that you declared that you had a
• 20:05
  Speaker 1: plan for us, and it was to prosper us, not
• 20:08
  Speaker 1: to bring us home. Why we thank you. We thank
• 20:11
  Speaker 1: you because you didn't have to, but you thought enough
• 20:14
  Speaker 1: of us to bring us out of our sin. You
• 20:17
  Speaker 1: brought us out of our darkness. You raised me up
• 20:20
  Speaker 1: off my bed of affliction when you could have left
• 20:22
  Speaker 1: me Dad and my sin. Well, Lord, you knew that
• 20:25
  Speaker 1: this day would be this day, and you knew that
• 20:27
  Speaker 1: who would need to be in place. So Father, we
• 20:30
  Speaker 1: thank you. We thank you on this morning for yet
• 20:33
  Speaker 1: another day that was not promised us or a God.
• 20:36
  Speaker 1: So Father, as we go out into this world, Lord God, Father,
• 20:39
  Speaker 1: we asked that you would leave God and direct us.
• 20:41
  Speaker 1: Lord God, allow us to walk in rooms, Lord God,
• 20:46
  Speaker 1: and your glow shine. That people don't see us in
• 20:49
  Speaker 1: the flesh, Lord God, but they see your spirit man
• 20:52
  Speaker 1: that works on the inside of us. Father, allow us
• 20:55
  Speaker 1: to tap into that that you've already placed on the
• 20:58
  Speaker 1: inside of us. Stir up those gifts and those talents,
• 21:01
  Speaker 1: that we may take our rightful place in the kingdom,
• 21:04
  Speaker 1: and that we may be that others may come out
• 21:06
  Speaker 1: or whatever they may be going through. By seeing our
• 21:10
  Speaker 1: life as a living testimony, Father, your testimony you gave
• 21:14
  Speaker 1: us testimonies, because those tests, those trials, and those tribulations,
• 21:18
  Speaker 1: they only came for a moment so that we could
• 21:22
  Speaker 1: have the testimony, so that others could see put it
• 21:25
  Speaker 1: through as we got through. You have no respect of
• 21:28
  Speaker 1: a person. So Father, we thank you on this day.
• 21:31
  Speaker 1: We thank you for this day that we've never seen,
• 21:33
  Speaker 1: that we'll never see again. So Father, we asked that
• 21:35
  Speaker 1: you would allow us to do all that you will
• 21:38
  Speaker 1: have us to do on this day, to be a
• 21:39
  Speaker 1: beacon of light to someone. That someone may be drawn
• 21:42
  Speaker 1: unto you. Father, we thank you on today. We thank
• 21:46
  Speaker 1: you on today. And Father, we asked that you would
• 21:48
  Speaker 1: just have your way in our lives. Father, go before us,
• 21:51
  Speaker 1: touching each and every one of your children, Lord Gods,
• 21:53
  Speaker 1: aligning us with that that you have already premained for us,
• 21:56
  Speaker 1: like allow us to catch up with our destiny. Lord
• 21:59
  Speaker 1: god Father, we thank you. And Father, that person that
• 22:02
  Speaker 1: may be lost, that may not know you, Lord god Father,
• 22:05
  Speaker 1: may he be drawn, May they be drawn unto you
• 22:07
  Speaker 1: on today, Lord god Father, that homeless person under the bridge,
• 22:11
  Speaker 1: Lord God, under the underpath, wherever they may be, Lord
• 22:13
  Speaker 1: god Father, allows someone to go out and minister to them,
• 22:16
  Speaker 1: Lord God, to meet them in their knees on today,
• 22:18
  Speaker 1: if they're in need of a hot meal, if they're
• 22:20
  Speaker 1: in need of a warm change of clothes, or God
• 22:22
  Speaker 1: of that, just in need of a hug. Lord God,
• 22:24
  Speaker 1: allow that angel to come in their presence or God
• 22:27
  Speaker 1: and remind them that they're not alone, no matter what
• 22:29
  Speaker 1: it looked like. Father, we thank you on today. We
• 22:33
  Speaker 1: thank you because we know that you are worthy. You're
• 22:36
  Speaker 1: worthy of all our praises. And if we had a
• 22:38
  Speaker 1: million tons, we couldn't thank you enough for all that
• 22:41
  Speaker 1: you have done, all that you are doing. So Father,
• 22:44
  Speaker 1: we give you praise, we give you honor, we give
• 22:47
  Speaker 1: you glory. If Father asks that you will search me
• 22:49
  Speaker 1: on today, Father, if there's anything that is not like you,
• 22:52
  Speaker 1: a contrary, Father asked that you were removing right now,
• 22:55
  Speaker 1: in the name of Jesus, Father, align me with your
• 22:58
  Speaker 1: words or will in your way that I won't go

  Speaker 1: astray or lead anyone astray. Father, I thank you for
• 23:03

  Speaker 1: one wants to hear what they have to say. Lord God, Father,

  Speaker 1: you're giving us all the story. You're giving us all

  Speaker 1: something that we should be sharing. So, Father, allow us
• 23:27
  Speaker 1: to take rightful place and to do those things that
• 23:30
  Speaker 1: you've called and purposed us to do. Father, I lift
• 23:33
  Speaker 1: up those that are part of the one hundred off
• 23:34
  Speaker 1: the movement, Lord God, Father, asked that you will continue
• 23:37
  Speaker 1: to strengthen them, Lord God, continue to allow them to
• 23:41
  Speaker 1: be creative, Lord God, and to provide those those stories
• 23:45
  Speaker 1: and those things that would impact your world and that
• 23:48
  Speaker 1: would bring Laurie to you. God Father. We only have
• 23:51
  Speaker 1: the testimonies because you allowed us to get through the
• 23:54
  Speaker 1: test Father, we thank you because Father, you didn't have to.
• 23:59
  Speaker 1: You could have left us sleeping, and I've seen you
• 24:00
  Speaker 1: could have left us in our mess. But Father, this
• 24:03
  Speaker 1: day would be this day, and we thank you. Father.

  Speaker 1: Hear these prayers and answer them according to your will.

  Speaker 1: Is there anything that would hinder these prayers from a

  Speaker 1: Father showed me me that I won't lead no one
