  Well,

• 1:19
  welcome

• 1:22
  Absolutely.
• 1:23
  Thanks
• 1:23
  for
• 1:23
  having
• 1:23
  me.
• 1:24
  Yeah,
• 1:24
  I'm
• 1:24
  looking
• 1:24
  forward
• 1:24
  to
• 1:25
  it.
• 1:25
  I've
• 1:25
  been
• 1:25
  watching
• 1:25
  you
• 1:26
  on

  and,
• 1:27
  you
• 1:27
  know,
• 1:27
  found
• 1:27
  out
• 1:28
  that
• 1:28
  you
• 1:28
  moved
• 1:28
  and
• 1:29
  that
• 1:29
  you're
• 1:29
  working
• 1:30
  on
• 1:30
  your
• 1:30

• 1:30
  But
• 1:31
  before
• 1:31
  we
• 1:31
  get
• 1:32
  to
• 1:32
  that,
• 1:32
  it's
• 1:33
  been
• 1:33
  about
• 1:33
  five
• 1:34
  years.
• 1:34
  I
• 1:34
  was
• 1:34
  really
• 1:34
  kind
• 1:35
  of
• 1:35
  shocked
• 1:35
  when
• 1:35
  I
• 1:35
  went
• 1:35
  back
• 1:36
  and
• 1:37
  looked
• 1:37
  at
• 1:37
  the
• 1:37
  archive
• 1:38
  since
• 1:38
  we
• 1:38
  last
• 1:39
  spoke,
• 1:39
  and
• 1:39
  I
• 1:39
  was
• 1:39
  kind
• 1:40
  of
• 1:40
  curious.
• 1:40
  I
• 1:40
  know
• 1:40
  you're
• 1:41
  always
• 1:41
  tinkering
• 1:41
  and
• 1:42
  playing
• 1:42
  with
• 1:42
  stuff.
• 1:43
  Any
• 1:44
  new
• 1:44
  series
• 1:45
  or
• 1:45
  media
• 1:46
  you're
• 1:46
  playing
• 1:46
  with
• 1:47
  or
• 1:47
  any
• 1:47
  kind
• 1:47
  of
• 1:47
  artistic
• 1:48
  experiments
• 1:48
  you
• 1:48
  want
• 1:48
  to
• 1:48
  talk
• 1:49
  about.
• 1:50
  Well,
• 1:51
  yeah,
• 1:52
  absolutely.
• 1:52
  Always
• 1:53
  something
• 1:53
  new.
• 1:54
  I
• 1:54
  think
• 1:54
  part
• 1:55
  of
• 1:55
  being
• 1:55
  an
• 1:55
  artist,
• 1:56
  most
• 1:56
  of
• 1:56
  us
• 1:56
  are
• 1:56
  pretty
• 1:57
  ADD
• 1:58
  and
• 1:59
  you
• 1:59
  know,
• 2:00
  we
• 2:00
  get
• 2:00
  bored
• 2:01
  pretty
• 2:01
  easily
• 2:01
  doing
• 2:02
  the
• 2:02
  same
• 2:02
  thing
• 2:02
  every
• 2:02
  day.
• 2:03
  So
• 2:05
  what
• 2:05
  I've
• 2:05
  been
• 2:05
  working
• 2:06
  on
• 2:06
  for
• 2:06
  the
• 2:06
  last
• 2:07
  four,
• 2:08
  four
• 2:09
  plus
• 2:09
  years
• 2:09
  is
• 2:11
  becoming
• 2:12
  a
• 2:12
  decent
• 2:13
  wildlife
• 2:14
  photographer.
• 2:15
  There's
• 2:16
  so
• 2:16
  much
• 2:16
  more
• 2:17
  to
• 2:17
  it
• 2:18
  than
• 2:19
  I
• 2:19
  ever
• 2:19
  understood.
• 2:20
  And
• 2:20
  I.
• 2:20
  And
• 2:21
  honestly,
• 2:21
  at
• 2:21
  this
• 2:22
  point,
• 2:22
  I
• 2:22
  have
• 2:23
  so
• 2:23
  much
• 2:23
  more
• 2:24
  respect
• 2:25
  for
• 2:26
  the
• 2:26
  guys
• 2:27
  that
• 2:27
  get
• 2:27
  out
• 2:27
  there
• 2:27
  and
• 2:28
  like,
• 2:28
  get
• 2:28
  the
• 2:28
  most
• 2:28
  amazing
• 2:29
  stuff
• 2:30
  because,
• 2:31
  you
• 2:31
  know,
• 2:31
  I
• 2:32
  grew
• 2:32
  up
• 2:33
  in
• 2:33
  the
• 2:33
  woods
• 2:34
  hunting
• 2:34
  with
• 2:34
  my
• 2:34
  dad,
• 2:35
  fishing
• 2:36
  on
• 2:36
  the
• 2:36
  water
• 2:37
  constantly.
• 2:38
  You
• 2:38
  know,
• 2:38
  that's
• 2:38
  what
• 2:39
  my
• 2:39
  whole
• 2:39
  life
• 2:39
  was
• 2:39
  about
• 2:40
  as
• 2:40
  a
• 2:40
  kid.
• 2:41
  And
• 2:43
  like,
• 2:43
  the
• 2:44
  animal
• 2:44
  part
• 2:46
  isn't
• 2:47
  that.
• 2:47
  I
• 2:47
  mean,
• 2:47
  I
• 2:47
  definitely
• 2:48
  have
• 2:48
  had
• 2:48
  to
• 2:48
  learn
• 2:48
  a
• 2:49
  lot.
• 2:49
  Don't
• 2:50
  you
• 2:50
  know,
• 2:50
  I'm
• 2:50
  not
• 2:51
  trying
• 2:51
  to
• 2:51
  say
• 2:51
  I
• 2:51
  had
• 2:51
  it
• 2:51
  all
• 2:52
  figured
• 2:52
  out,
• 2:53
  but
• 2:55
  it.
• 2:55
  You
• 2:55
  know,
• 2:56
  the
• 2:56
  technical
• 2:56
  part
• 2:57
  was
• 2:57
  what
• 2:57
  was
• 2:57
  really
• 2:58
  hard
• 2:58
  for
• 2:58
  me.
• 3:00
  And
• 3:00
  Janelle
• 3:01
  has
• 3:01
  had
• 3:01
  to
• 3:02
  step
• 3:02
  in.
• 3:02
  And,
• 3:03
  I
• 3:03
  mean,
• 3:03
  gosh,
• 3:04
  to
• 3:05
  even
• 3:05
  be
• 3:06
  at
• 3:06
  all
• 3:07
  competitive,
• 3:08
  I've
• 3:09
  had
• 3:09
  to
• 3:09
  Invest.
• 3:10
  I'm
• 3:11
  probably
• 3:11
  60
• 3:12
  grand
• 3:12
  in
• 3:14
  just
• 3:14
  in
• 3:15
  computers
• 3:16
  and
• 3:17
  cameras
• 3:17
  and
• 3:18
  lenses.
• 3:18
  And,
• 3:19
  I
• 3:19
  mean,
• 3:20
  it
• 3:20
  is.
• 3:20
  It's
• 3:20
  an
• 3:21
  unbelievable
• 3:21
  investment,
• 3:22
  but,
• 3:23
  I
• 3:23
  mean,
• 3:23
  it's
• 3:23
  like
• 3:23
  a
• 3:24
  rabbit
• 3:24
  hole.
• 3:25
  Once
• 3:25
  you
• 3:25
  start
• 3:25
  going
• 3:25
  down
• 3:26
  it
• 3:26
  and
• 3:27
  you
• 3:27
  really
• 3:27
  want
• 3:27
  the
• 3:28
  results,
• 3:28
  it's
• 3:29
  like,
• 3:29
  okay,
• 3:29
  what
• 3:29
  do
• 3:29
  I
• 3:29
  have
• 3:29
  to
• 3:30
  do
• 3:30
  next
• 3:30
  to,
• 3:30
  like,
• 3:31
  get
• 3:31
  there?
• 3:33
  And
• 3:33
  one
• 3:34
  thing
• 3:34
  after
• 3:34
  another.
• 3:34
  And
• 3:35
  at
• 3:35
  this
• 3:35
  point,
• 3:36
  it's
• 3:37
  just
• 3:37
  a
• 3:37
  very
• 3:38
  expensive
• 3:38
  hobby
• 3:39
  for
• 3:39
  me.
• 3:39
  But
• 3:40
  we've
• 3:41
  opened.
• 3:42
  We've
• 3:43
  officially
• 3:43
  opened
• 3:44
  up
• 3:44
  the
• 3:44
  gallery,
• 3:44
  and
• 3:45
  it's
• 3:45
  50%
• 3:46
  wildlife
• 3:46
  photography.
• 3:47
  So
• 3:48
  although,
• 3:49
  you
• 3:49
  know,
• 3:50
  I've
• 3:50
  been
• 3:50
  working
• 3:51
  as
• 3:52
  a
• 3:52
  painter
• 3:53
  Since
• 3:54
  I
• 3:54
  was
• 3:54
  23
• 3:55
  and
• 3:56
  graduated
• 3:57
  art
• 3:57
  school,
• 3:58
  I've
• 3:59
  gone
• 4:00
  50%
• 4:01
  of
• 4:01
  photography
• 4:02
  on
• 4:02
  this
• 4:02
  one,
• 4:03
  and
• 4:03
  I'm
• 4:04
  stoked.
• 4:04
  And
• 4:05
  it's
• 4:05
  all
• 4:06
  hung.
• 4:06
  The
• 4:07
  whole
• 4:07
  show
• 4:07
  is
• 4:07
  ready,
• 4:09
  and
• 4:09
  I
• 4:09
  feel
• 4:09
  like
• 4:09
  the
• 4:10
  photography
• 4:10
  is
• 4:11
  absolutely
• 4:12
  on
• 4:12
  par
• 4:12
  with
• 4:13
  the
• 4:14
  paintings.
• 4:14
  So
• 4:15
  I
• 4:15
  feel
• 4:15
  really
• 4:16
  good
• 4:16
  about
• 4:17
  what
• 4:17
  I've
• 4:17
  come
• 4:17
  up
• 4:18
  with.
• 4:18
  Yeah,
• 4:19
  I
• 4:19
  mean,
• 4:19
  it's
• 4:19
  amazing.
• 4:19
  I
• 4:19
  mean,
• 4:20
  I've
• 4:20
  been
• 4:20
  watching
• 4:20
  your
• 4:20
  Instagram
• 4:21
  feed,
• 4:21
  and
• 4:21
  I
• 4:21
  mean,
• 4:22
  the.
• 4:22
  And
• 4:22
  it
• 4:23
  seems
• 4:23
  like
• 4:23
  also,
• 4:23
  too,
• 4:23
  you
• 4:24
  really
• 4:24
  are
• 4:24
  interested
• 4:24
  in
• 4:25
  Raptors.
• 4:26
  But,
• 4:27
  you
• 4:27
  know,
• 4:27
  everything
• 4:28
  that
• 4:28
  I
• 4:28
  see
• 4:28
  in
• 4:28
  your
• 4:29
  Instagram
• 4:29
  feed,
• 4:29
  you
• 4:29
  know,
• 4:30
  it
• 4:30
  wouldn't
• 4:30
  surprise
• 4:31
  me
• 4:31
  to
• 4:31
  see
• 4:31
  it
• 4:31
  in
• 4:32
  National
• 4:32
  Geographic
• 4:32
  or
• 4:33
  Audubon.
• 4:33
  Right.
• 4:35
  Well,
• 4:36
  I
• 4:36
  appreciate
• 4:36
  you
• 4:37
  saying
• 4:37
  that.
• 4:37
  And
• 4:38
  that's,
• 4:38
  you
• 4:38
  know,
• 4:39
  I've
• 4:40
  got
• 4:40
  a
• 4:40
  long
• 4:40
  way
• 4:40
  to
• 4:41
  go
• 4:41
  before
• 4:41
  I
• 4:41
  even
• 4:42
  step
• 4:42
  into
• 4:43
  that
• 4:43
  arena.
• 4:43
  But
• 4:44
  I
• 4:44
  do
• 4:44
  have
• 4:45
  my
• 4:45
  own
• 4:45
  perspective,
• 4:46
  which
• 4:47
  in
• 4:48
  painting
• 4:48
  and
• 4:48
  in.
• 4:49
  In
• 4:50
  any
• 4:50
  type
• 4:50
  of
• 4:50
  art,
• 4:51
  you
• 4:51
  know,
• 4:51
  perspective
• 4:52
  is
• 4:52
  everything.
• 4:53
  How
• 4:53
  can
• 4:53
  you
• 4:54
  kind
• 4:54
  of
• 4:54
  develop
• 4:54
  what.
• 4:55
  What's
• 4:55
  your
• 4:55
  perspective?
• 4:56
  And.
• 4:57
  And
• 4:58
  we
• 4:59
  had.
• 4:59
  We've
• 4:59
  been
• 4:59
  opening
• 5:00
  the
• 5:00
  gallery
• 5:01
  now
• 5:01
  for
• 5:02
  the
• 5:02
  last
• 5:03
  several
• 5:03
  days,
• 5:04
  like,
• 5:05
  all
• 5:05
  day
• 5:05
  long.
• 5:07
  And
• 5:07
  the
• 5:07
  other
• 5:07
  day,
• 5:08
  this
• 5:08
  woman
• 5:08
  walks
• 5:09
  in,
• 5:09
  even
• 5:09
  a
• 5:10
  group
• 5:10
  of
• 5:10
  women,
• 5:10
  and
• 5:10
  she
• 5:11
  says,
• 5:12
  well,
• 5:13
  I
• 5:14
  don't
• 5:14
  like
• 5:14
  fish,
• 5:15
  so
• 5:17
  what
• 5:17
  else
• 5:17
  you
• 5:18
  got?
• 5:19
  And
• 5:19
  I'm
• 5:19
  like,
• 5:21
  I
• 5:21
  mean,
• 5:21
  I
• 5:22
  don't
• 5:22
  know
• 5:22
  what
• 5:22
  to
• 5:22
  tell
• 5:22
  you.
• 5:24
  I've
• 5:24
  just
• 5:25
  spent
• 5:25
  the
• 5:25
  last
• 5:25
  20
• 5:26
  some
• 5:27
  years
• 5:27
  painting
• 5:28
  fish.
• 5:29
  So.
• 5:30
  But
• 5:30
  I.
• 5:30
  My
• 5:31
  photography
• 5:31
  is
• 5:31
  not
• 5:31
  about
• 5:32
  fish.
• 5:32
  So
• 5:33
  if
• 5:33
  you
• 5:33
  like
• 5:33
  photography
• 5:34
  and,
• 5:34
  you
• 5:34
  know,
• 5:35
  the
• 5:36
  gallery
• 5:36
  is
• 5:36
  based
• 5:37
  totally
• 5:37
  on
• 5:38
  owls
• 5:38
  and
• 5:39
  bears,
• 5:41
  and
• 5:41
  you
• 5:41
  get
• 5:42
  caught.
• 5:42
  I
• 5:42
  mean,
• 5:42
  once
• 5:43
  you
• 5:43
  open
• 5:43
  the
• 5:43
  gallery,
• 5:44
  you
• 5:44
  get
• 5:45
  called
• 5:45
  out.
• 5:46
  That's
• 5:46
  just
• 5:46
  part
• 5:46
  of
• 5:46
  it.
• 5:47
  And
• 5:47
  especially
• 5:48
  if
• 5:48
  it's
• 5:48
  like
• 5:48
  your
• 5:49
  namesake
• 5:49
  gallery,
• 5:50
  people
• 5:51
  are
• 5:51
  like,
• 5:51
  what's
• 5:51
  up
• 5:52
  with
• 5:52
  all
• 5:52
  the
• 5:52
  owls
• 5:53
  and
• 5:53
  bears?
• 5:54
  Can
• 5:54
  you
• 5:54
  not
• 5:54
  find
• 5:55
  any
• 5:55
  other
• 5:55
  animals?
• 5:57
  No,
• 5:57
  I
• 5:58
  see
• 5:58
  other
• 5:58
  animals,
• 5:59
  but
• 5:59
  you
• 6:00
  don't.
• 6:00
  To
• 6:00
  get
• 6:02
  pro
• 6:02
  level
• 6:03
  images
• 6:05
  and
• 6:06
  really
• 6:06
  figure
• 6:07
  it
• 6:07
  out,
• 6:07
  you
• 6:07
  do
• 6:08
  have
• 6:08
  to
• 6:09
  really
• 6:10
  focus
• 6:10
  on
• 6:10
  something.
• 6:11
  And
• 6:11
  for
• 6:11
  me,
• 6:12
  that's
• 6:12
  always
• 6:13
  been
• 6:13
  the
• 6:13
  case.
• 6:14
  I
• 6:14
  don't
• 6:14
  have
• 6:15
  so
• 6:15
  much
• 6:15
  talent
• 6:16
  that
• 6:16
  I
• 6:16
  can
• 6:17
  be
• 6:18
  great
• 6:18
  at
• 6:18
  everything.
• 6:19
  I
• 6:19
  realize
• 6:20
  I
• 6:20
  got
• 6:20
  to
• 6:20
  focus
• 6:21
  on
• 6:21
  something
• 6:21
  and
• 6:22
  really
• 6:22
  put
• 6:22
  all
• 6:22
  my
• 6:23
  time
• 6:23
  into
• 6:23
  it.
• 6:24
  And
• 6:26
  I'd
• 6:26
  be
• 6:26
  embarrassed
• 6:27
  to
• 6:27
  tell
• 6:27
  you
• 6:27
  how
• 6:27
  much
• 6:27
  time
• 6:28
  I
• 6:28
  have
• 6:28
  into
• 6:29
  my
• 6:30
  photography,
• 6:31
  but
• 6:31
  you
• 6:32
  know,
• 6:33
  there's
• 6:33
  taking
• 6:34
  a
• 6:34
  photo
• 6:34
  of
• 6:35
  a
• 6:35
  wild
• 6:35
  animal
• 6:36
  and
• 6:37
  then
• 6:37
  there's
• 6:38
  going
• 6:39
  there
• 6:39
  for,
• 6:40
  you
• 6:41
  know,
• 6:42
  18
• 6:42
  times
• 6:43
  over
• 6:43
  the
• 6:43
  course
• 6:43
  of
• 6:44
  a
• 6:45
  couple
• 6:45
  months
• 6:46
  and
• 6:46
  finally
• 6:47
  seeing
• 6:47
  him
• 6:48
  catch
• 6:48
  something
• 6:49
  or
• 6:49
  finally
• 6:50
  seeing
• 6:50
  something
• 6:51
  crazy,
• 6:51
  a
• 6:51
  beautiful
• 6:52
  light,
• 6:53
  just
• 6:54
  getting
• 6:54
  better
• 6:54
  and
• 6:54
  better
• 6:55
  at
• 6:55
  capturing
• 6:55
  that
• 6:56
  animal.
• 6:57
  And
• 6:57
  what's
• 6:57
  weird
• 6:58
  too
• 6:58
  is
• 6:58
  like
• 6:59
  as
• 6:59
  much
• 7:00
  as,
• 7:00
  I
• 7:00
  mean,
• 7:01
  I'm
• 7:02
  highly
• 7:03
  aware
• 7:03
  of
• 7:06
  bothering
• 7:06
  an
• 7:06
  animal
• 7:07
  by
• 7:08
  me
• 7:08
  going
• 7:08
  out
• 7:08
  and
• 7:08
  photographing
• 7:09
  it,
• 7:10
  they
• 7:11
  kind
• 7:12
  of
• 7:12
  get
• 7:13
  to
• 7:13
  a
• 7:13
  point
• 7:13
  with
• 7:13
  you.
• 7:14
  I
• 7:14
  mean,
• 7:14
  I
• 7:14
  don't
• 7:15
  go
• 7:15
  all
• 7:15
  the
• 7:15
  time
• 7:15
  and
• 7:15
  I
• 7:15
  have
• 7:16
  lots
• 7:16
  and
• 7:16
  lots
• 7:16
  of
• 7:16
  spots
• 7:18
  so
• 7:18
  I
• 7:18
  try
• 7:18
  to
• 7:19
  alternate
• 7:19
  so
• 7:19
  I
• 7:19
  don't
• 7:20
  mess
• 7:20
  anything
• 7:20
  up.
• 7:21
  But
• 7:23
  they
• 7:23
  get
• 7:23
  to
• 7:23
  a
• 7:23
  point
• 7:23
  where
• 7:24
  they
• 7:24
  like,
• 7:25
  I'm
• 7:25
  positive
• 7:25
  they
• 7:26
  recognize
• 7:26
  me
• 7:26
  and
• 7:26
  they're
• 7:26
  like,
• 7:27
  oh,
• 7:27
  it's
• 7:27
  that
• 7:27
  guy,
• 7:28
  he's
• 7:29
  fine.
• 7:30
  They
• 7:31
  don't
• 7:31
  like
• 7:31
  fly
• 7:31
  away.
• 7:32
  They
• 7:32
  don't,
• 7:33
  you
• 7:33
  know,
• 7:34
  like
• 7:35
  we,
• 7:35
  we
• 7:35
  all
• 7:35
  start
• 7:36
  to
• 7:36
  recognize
• 7:36
  each
• 7:36
  other
• 7:37
  and
• 7:39
  it's
• 7:39
  just
• 7:39
  kind
• 7:39
  of
• 7:39
  funny.
• 7:40
  But
• 7:41
  you
• 7:41
  know,
• 7:41
  the,
• 7:43
  the
• 7:43
  gig.
• 7:44
  Painting
• 7:44
  fish.
• 7:45
  All
• 7:45
  these
• 7:45
  years,
• 7:46
  I
• 7:46
  always
• 7:46
  said
• 7:46
  best
• 7:47
  job
• 7:47
  in
• 7:47
  the
• 7:47
  world
• 7:48
  because
• 7:48
  research
• 7:49
  means
• 7:50
  what
• 7:50
  Being
• 7:50
  on
• 7:51
  the
• 7:51
  water,
• 7:51
  fly
• 7:51
  fishing,
• 7:52
  getting
• 7:53
  to
• 7:53
  experience
• 7:54
  all
• 7:54
  the
• 7:54
  things
• 7:54
  that,
• 7:55
  you
• 7:55
  know,
• 7:55
  all
• 7:55
  of
• 7:56
  us
• 7:56
  love
• 7:57
  and
• 7:59
  to
• 7:59
  change
• 8:00
  it
• 8:00
  up
• 8:00
  and
• 8:00
  add
• 8:01
  wildlife
• 8:02
  photography.
• 8:03
  I
• 8:04
  love
• 8:04
  being
• 8:04
  in
• 8:04
  the
• 8:04
  woods.
• 8:05
  I
• 8:05
  always
• 8:05
  have
• 8:05
  loved
• 8:06
  it.
• 8:07
  It's
• 8:07
  a
• 8:07
  very
• 8:08
  solitary
• 8:09
  thing
• 8:09
  for
• 8:09
  me
• 8:11
  and
• 8:11
  I've,
• 8:12
  I
• 8:13
  thank
• 8:13
  my
• 8:13
  dad
• 8:13
  like
• 8:14
  every
• 8:14
  time
• 8:14
  I'm
• 8:14
  out
• 8:15
  there
• 8:15
  for
• 8:15
  teaching
• 8:16
  me
• 8:16
  to
• 8:16
  be
• 8:16
  comfortable
• 8:17
  by
• 8:17
  myself
• 8:18
  out
• 8:18
  in
• 8:19
  the
• 8:19
  woods
• 8:19
  and
• 8:20
  just
• 8:21
  understanding,
• 8:21
  you
• 8:22
  know,
• 8:24
  you
• 8:24
  know,
• 8:24
  I
• 8:24
  was
• 8:24
  freaked
• 8:25
  out
• 8:25
  just
• 8:25
  like
• 8:25
  anyone
• 8:26
  like
• 8:26
  going
• 8:26
  out
• 8:26
  and
• 8:27
  wandering
• 8:27
  through
• 8:27
  the
• 8:27
  woods
• 8:28
  when
• 8:28
  I
• 8:28
  was
• 8:28
  a
• 8:28
  kid.
• 8:28
  But
• 8:29
  I
• 8:29
  did
• 8:29
  it
• 8:29
  so
• 8:30
  much
• 8:30
  that
• 8:30
  now
• 8:30
  I,
• 8:31
  that's.
• 8:31
  I
• 8:31
  have
• 8:31
  to
• 8:32
  do
• 8:32
  it
• 8:33
  and
• 8:33
  I
• 8:33
  just
• 8:33
  love
• 8:34
  doing
• 8:34
  it.
• 8:35
  And
• 8:36
  wildlife
• 8:37
  photography
• 8:37
  brings
• 8:37
  me
• 8:38
  out
• 8:38
  there.
• 8:38
  And
• 8:39
  the
• 8:39
  other
• 8:39
  thing
• 8:39
  is
• 8:39
  I
• 8:40
  don't
• 8:40
  just
• 8:40
  like
• 8:40
  hike
• 8:40
  right
• 8:41
  through
• 8:41
  a
• 8:41
  patch
• 8:41
  of
• 8:41
  woods.
• 8:42
  I'm
• 8:42
  out
• 8:42
  there
• 8:42
  with
• 8:42
  like
• 8:43
  a
• 8:43
  very,
• 8:44
  you
• 8:45
  know,
• 8:45
  intricate,
• 8:46
  specific
• 8:47
  goal
• 8:47
  in
• 8:48
  mind.
• 8:49
  So
• 8:49
  I'm
• 8:49
  not
• 8:49
  just
• 8:50
  like
• 8:50
  flying
• 8:50
  through.
• 8:51
  I'm,
• 8:51
  I'm
• 8:51
  really
• 8:52
  observing
• 8:53
  and
• 8:54
  I
• 8:54
  just
• 8:54
  find
• 8:54
  it's.
• 8:55
  If
• 8:55
  I'm
• 8:55
  looking
• 8:55
  for
• 8:56
  an
• 8:56
  owl
• 8:56
  or
• 8:56
  a
• 8:56
  bear
• 8:57
  or
• 8:57
  whatever,
• 8:59
  I
• 9:00
  like
• 9:00
  really
• 9:00
  notice
• 9:01
  other
• 9:01
  Things.
• 9:02
  And
• 9:02
  I
• 9:03
  really
• 9:03
  appreciate
• 9:03
  nature
• 9:04
  in
• 9:04
  a
• 9:05
  deeper
• 9:05
  sense
• 9:06
  than
• 9:06
  I
• 9:06
  ever
• 9:06
  did,
• 9:07
  you
• 9:07
  know,
• 9:08
  since
• 9:08
  I
• 9:08
  started
• 9:08
  doing
• 9:08
  this
• 9:09
  photography.
• 9:10
  Yeah,
• 9:11
  that's
• 9:11
  really
• 9:11
  neat.
• 9:11
  And,
• 9:11
  you
• 9:12
  know,
• 9:12
  you're
• 9:12
  talking
• 9:12
  about
• 9:12
  goals
• 9:13
  and
• 9:13
  I
• 9:13
  know
• 9:13
  how
• 9:13
  deliberate
• 9:14
  you
• 9:14
  are.
• 9:14
  Kind
• 9:14
  of,
• 9:15
  we'll
• 9:15
  just
• 9:15
  say
• 9:15
  in
• 9:15
  the
• 9:15
  fish
• 9:16
  world,
• 9:16
  you
• 9:17
  know,
• 9:17
  what
• 9:17
  did
• 9:17
  you
• 9:18
  bring
• 9:19
  kind
• 9:19
  of
• 9:19
  from
• 9:19
  a
• 9:20
  composition
• 9:20
  and
• 9:21
  design
• 9:21
  and
• 9:21
  kind
• 9:22
  of,
• 9:22
  you
• 9:22
  know,
• 9:23
  the
• 9:23
  shots
• 9:23
  that
• 9:23
  you
• 9:24
  wanted
• 9:24
  to
• 9:24
  get.
• 9:25
  What
• 9:25
  did
• 9:25
  you
• 9:25
  bring
• 9:25
  kind
• 9:26
  of
• 9:26
  from
• 9:26
  your
• 9:26
  fishing
• 9:27
  background
• 9:27
  into
• 9:27
  your
• 9:27
  wildlife
• 9:28
  photography?
• 9:30
  Well,
• 9:30
  good
• 9:30
  question.
• 9:31
  And
• 9:31
  it's,
• 9:32
  you
• 9:32
  know,
• 9:33
  that
• 9:33
  it
• 9:33
  would.
• 9:35
  I
• 9:35
  would
• 9:35
  have
• 9:35
  to
• 9:35
  bring
• 9:36
  those
• 9:36
  things,
• 9:36
  right,
• 9:37
  because
• 9:37
  it's,
• 9:37
  it's
• 9:38
  kind
• 9:38
  of
• 9:38
  who
• 9:39
  I
• 9:39
  am,
• 9:39
  how
• 9:39
  I
• 9:39
  picture
• 9:40
  things.
• 9:42
  And
• 9:44
  yeah,
• 9:45
  I
• 9:45
  do
• 9:45
  share
• 9:46
  some
• 9:46
  of
• 9:46
  the
• 9:46
  same
• 9:46
  goals
• 9:47
  with
• 9:47
  my
• 9:47
  photography,
• 9:49
  you
• 9:49
  know,
• 9:49
  as
• 9:49
  I
• 9:49
  do
• 9:49
  with
• 9:50
  composing,
• 9:50
  like
• 9:50
  a
• 9:51
  painting.
• 9:54
  It's
• 9:54
  been
• 9:54
  funny,
• 9:55
  though,
• 9:55
  with
• 9:55
  a
• 9:56
  gallery,
• 9:58
  like,
• 9:59
  I
• 9:59
  was
• 9:59
  really
• 10:00
  worried
• 10:00
  coming
• 10:01
  up
• 10:01
  to
• 10:02
  opening
• 10:03
  our
• 10:03
  doors
• 10:03
  that,
• 10:04
  like,
• 10:04
  you
• 10:05
  know,
• 10:05
  the,
• 10:06
  like,
• 10:07
  biggest
• 10:07
  fail
• 10:08
  for
• 10:08
  me
• 10:09
  would
• 10:09
  be
• 10:09
  that.
• 10:10
  That
• 10:10
  I
• 10:11
  just
• 10:11
  did
• 10:11
  this
• 10:11
  for
• 10:11
  myself.
• 10:12
  And
• 10:12
  I
• 10:12
  really
• 10:13
  didn't
• 10:13
  get,
• 10:14
  you
• 10:15
  know,
• 10:15
  to
• 10:15
  the,
• 10:16
  to
• 10:16
  the
• 10:16
  quality
• 10:17
  level
• 10:17
  with
• 10:17
  my
• 10:17
  photography
• 10:18
  that
• 10:18
  like,
• 10:19
  that
• 10:19
  I
• 10:19
  was
• 10:20
  competitive,
• 10:20
  you
• 10:20
  know
• 10:20
  what
• 10:20
  I
• 10:21
  mean?
• 10:22
  It's
• 10:22
  kind
• 10:22
  of
• 10:22
  a
• 10:23
  midlife
• 10:24
  endeavor.
• 10:25
  So
• 10:26
  been
• 10:26
  doing
• 10:26
  the
• 10:26
  painting
• 10:27
  for
• 10:27
  a
• 10:27
  long
• 10:27
  time.
• 10:28
  I'm
• 10:28
  pretty
• 10:28
  confident
• 10:29
  with
• 10:29
  what
• 10:30
  I'm
• 10:30
  doing
• 10:30
  and
• 10:31
  what
• 10:31
  people
• 10:31
  like.
• 10:34
  But
• 10:34
  so
• 10:34
  far
• 10:35
  it
• 10:35
  has
• 10:36
  been,
• 10:37
  I
• 10:37
  don't
• 10:37
  know,
• 10:38
  50,
• 10:38
  50
• 10:39
  as
• 10:39
  far
• 10:39
  as
• 10:40
  what
• 10:40
  people
• 10:40
  are
• 10:41
  interested
• 10:41
  in,
• 10:42
  the
• 10:42
  photography
• 10:42
  versus
• 10:43
  the
• 10:44
  fish
• 10:45
  paintings.
• 10:46
  And
• 10:46
  I've
• 10:47
  been
• 10:47
  really,
• 10:48
  really
• 10:48
  happy
• 10:49
  about
• 10:49
  that.
• 10:49
  That's
• 10:50
  made
• 10:50
  me
• 10:50
  very,
• 10:51
  very
• 10:51
  happy
• 10:52
  because
• 10:54
  there
• 10:54
  are
• 10:54
  so
• 10:54
  many.
• 10:55
  You
• 10:55
  know,
• 10:55
  it's
• 10:56
  been
• 10:56
  five
• 10:56
  years
• 10:56
  I've
• 10:56
  been
• 10:57
  working
• 10:57
  on
• 10:57
  this,
• 10:57
  and
• 10:57
  all
• 10:58
  my
• 10:59
  friends
• 10:59
  and
• 10:59
  family
• 11:00
  have
• 11:00
  been
• 11:00
  just
• 11:01
  so
• 11:01
  encouraging
• 11:02
  to
• 11:02
  have
• 11:03
  me,
• 11:03
  like,
• 11:04
  you
• 11:04
  know,
• 11:04
  launch
• 11:04
  my
• 11:05
  photography.
• 11:05
  And
• 11:05
  I'm
• 11:06
  like,
• 11:06
  I'm
• 11:06
  not
• 11:06
  there.
• 11:07
  Oh,
• 11:07
  come
• 11:07
  on,
• 11:07
  you're.
• 11:08
  No,
• 11:08
  I'm
• 11:08
  not
• 11:08
  there.
• 11:09
  Like,
• 11:10
  I'm
• 11:10
  you.
• 11:11
  I'm
• 11:11
  glad
• 11:12
  you
• 11:12
  think
• 11:12
  that.
• 11:13
  It
• 11:14
  makes
• 11:14
  me
• 11:14
  very
• 11:15
  happy,
• 11:15
  but
• 11:16
  I
• 11:16
  personally
• 11:16
  don't
• 11:16
  think
• 11:17
  I
• 11:17
  am.
• 11:17
  And
• 11:17
  until
• 11:18
  I
• 11:18
  feel
• 11:18
  that
• 11:18
  way,
• 11:18
  I'm
• 11:19
  not
• 11:19
  going
• 11:19
  to
• 11:19
  launch
• 11:20
  my
• 11:20
  wildlife
• 11:21
  photography
• 11:21
  as
• 11:22
  far
• 11:22
  as
• 11:22
  for
• 11:22
  sale.
• 11:24
  And
• 11:26
  I
• 11:26
  don't
• 11:26
  know,
• 11:27
  you
• 11:27
  know,
• 11:27
  what
• 11:28
  do
• 11:28
  you
• 11:28
  think?
• 11:29
  If
• 11:29
  you're
• 11:29
  already
• 11:30
  an
• 11:30
  established
• 11:31
  artist
• 11:32
  and
• 11:32
  you
• 11:33
  come
• 11:33
  out
• 11:33
  with
• 11:34
  subpar
• 11:35
  art
• 11:35
  in
• 11:35
  a
• 11:36
  different
• 11:36
  genre,
• 11:37
  you
• 11:37
  know,
• 11:38
  that's
• 11:38
  a
• 11:38
  little
• 11:38
  bit.
• 11:40
  I
• 11:40
  don't
• 11:40
  know.
• 11:41
  I
• 11:41
  was
• 11:42
  really
• 11:42
  hesitant
• 11:43
  to
• 11:43
  do
• 11:43
  that.
• 11:45
  And
• 11:45
  so
• 11:45
  I
• 11:46
  was.
• 11:46
  I
• 11:46
  wanted
• 11:46
  to
• 11:46
  make
• 11:47
  damn
• 11:47
  sure
• 11:47
  that
• 11:47
  I
• 11:48
  was
• 11:48
  ready.
• 11:50
  Yeah,
• 11:50
  it's
• 11:50
  really
• 11:51
  kind
• 11:51
  of
• 11:51
  interesting,
• 11:51
  right,
• 11:51
  because
• 11:52
  it's
• 11:52
  almost
• 11:52
  like
• 11:52
  you're
• 11:52
  running
• 11:53
  the
• 11:53
  race
• 11:53
  not
• 11:53
  against
• 11:54
  the
• 11:54
  clock,
• 11:54
  but
• 11:54
  against
• 11:55
  yourself.
• 11:55
  Right.
• 11:58
  You
• 11:58
  know,
• 11:58
  I
• 11:58
  just
• 11:58
  would
• 11:59
  never
• 11:59
  Want
• 12:00
  someone
• 12:00
  to
• 12:00
  come
• 12:01
  in
• 12:01
  and
• 12:01
  say,
• 12:02
  okay,
• 12:02
  get
• 12:02
  a
• 12:02
  little
• 12:03
  of
• 12:03
  this
• 12:03
  guy.
• 12:03
  He,
• 12:04
  you
• 12:04
  know,
• 12:04
  he
• 12:04
  thinks
• 12:05
  because
• 12:05
  he's
• 12:05
  a
• 12:05
  great
• 12:05
  painter.
• 12:06
  Not
• 12:07
  saying
• 12:07
  that
• 12:07
  I
• 12:07
  am,
• 12:07
  but
• 12:08
  he
• 12:09
  hoped,
• 12:09
  if
• 12:09
  you
• 12:10
  think
• 12:10
  I
• 12:10
  am.
• 12:10
  Thank
• 12:10
  you,
• 12:12
  but.
• 12:14
  And
• 12:14
  now
• 12:15
  he
• 12:15
  expects
• 12:15
  us
• 12:15
  to
• 12:15
  buy
• 12:16
  his
• 12:16
  photography.
• 12:17
  I
• 12:17
  want
• 12:17
  it
• 12:17
  to
• 12:18
  be
• 12:18
  that
• 12:18
  my
• 12:18
  photography
• 12:19
  wins
• 12:19
  you
• 12:19
  over,
• 12:20
  you
• 12:20
  know,
• 12:20
  and
• 12:21
  is.
• 12:21
  And
• 12:21
  is
• 12:21
  good
• 12:22
  enough
• 12:22
  to
• 12:22
  do
• 12:22
  that.
• 12:23
  And
• 12:24
  I
• 12:24
  think
• 12:24
  that
• 12:25
  until
• 12:25
  I
• 12:25
  felt
• 12:25
  like
• 12:26
  I
• 12:26
  was
• 12:26
  there,
• 12:27
  I
• 12:27
  just
• 12:27
  couldn't.
• 12:28
  I
• 12:29
  couldn't,
• 12:29
  like,
• 12:29
  push
• 12:29
  forward.
• 12:32
  So,
• 12:32
  I
• 12:33
  mean,
• 12:33
  it's
• 12:33
  been
• 12:33
  kind
• 12:33
  of
• 12:34
  a
• 12:34
  thing.
• 12:34
  Like,
• 12:34
  there's
• 12:35
  a
• 12:35
  lot
• 12:35
  of
• 12:36
  people
• 12:36
  that
• 12:37
  are
• 12:38
  in
• 12:38
  my
• 12:38
  inner
• 12:38
  circle
• 12:38
  are
• 12:39
  just
• 12:39
  shaking
• 12:39
  their
• 12:40
  head,
• 12:40
  going,
• 12:40
  when
• 12:40
  are
• 12:40
  you
• 12:41
  going
• 12:41
  to
• 12:41
  do
• 12:41
  this?
• 12:41
  Because
• 12:42
  they
• 12:42
  know
• 12:42
  how
• 12:42
  much
• 12:43
  time
• 12:43
  and
• 12:44
  effort
• 12:44
  and
• 12:44
  money
• 12:44
  I've
• 12:45
  put
• 12:45
  into
• 12:45
  it.
• 12:46
  And
• 12:46
  I'm
• 12:46
  like,
• 12:47
  it'll.
• 12:47
  It'll
• 12:47
  happen.
• 12:48
  But
• 12:49
  I
• 12:49
  need
• 12:49
  to
• 12:50
  develop
• 12:50
  the
• 12:50
  whole,
• 12:51
  you
• 12:51
  know,
• 12:52
  portfolio
• 12:52
  and
• 12:52
  feel
• 12:53
  comfortable
• 12:53
  with
• 12:53
  it
• 12:55
  where
• 12:55
  I
• 12:55
  can
• 12:55
  stand
• 12:56
  behind
• 12:56
  it.
• 12:58
  You
• 12:58
  know,
• 12:59
  you
• 12:59
  start.
• 13:00
  You
• 13:00
  start
• 13:00
  off
• 13:01
  with
• 13:03
  hard
• 13:03
  drives
• 13:03
  full
• 13:04
  of,
• 13:04
  you
• 13:05
  know,
• 13:05
  bird
• 13:06
  butts
• 13:07
  and
• 13:07
  grizzly
• 13:08
  bear
• 13:08
  butts,
• 13:08
  because
• 13:09
  you
• 13:09
  go
• 13:09
  charging
• 13:10
  in
• 13:10
  there,
• 13:10
  and
• 13:10
  they
• 13:11
  leave,
• 13:11
  and
• 13:11
  you
• 13:11
  pull
• 13:11
  up
• 13:12
  and
• 13:12
  take
• 13:12
  a
• 13:12
  picture
• 13:12
  of
• 13:12
  them
• 13:12
  as
• 13:13
  they
• 13:13
  leave,
• 13:15
  you
• 13:15
  know
• 13:15
  what
• 13:15
  I
• 13:16
  mean?
• 13:16
  And
• 13:17
  you
• 13:17
  slowly
• 13:18
  realize,
• 13:18
  like,
• 13:19
  okay,
• 13:20
  that
• 13:21
  has
• 13:21
  no
• 13:21
  value
• 13:21
  whatsoever.
• 13:22
  I've
• 13:23
  got
• 13:23
  to
• 13:23
  figure
• 13:23
  out
• 13:24
  how
• 13:24
  to
• 13:25
  approach
• 13:25
  this
• 13:25
  situation
• 13:26
  where
• 13:26
  I
• 13:26
  don't
• 13:27
  spook
• 13:27
  them
• 13:27
  or
• 13:27
  how
• 13:27
  do
• 13:28
  I
• 13:28
  know
• 13:28
  they're
• 13:28
  there
• 13:29
  before
• 13:29
  they
• 13:29
  spooky.
• 13:31
  And
• 13:31
  that's
• 13:31
  been
• 13:32
  the,
• 13:32
  you
• 13:32
  know,
• 13:33
  a
• 13:33
  big
• 13:33
  part
• 13:33
  of
• 13:33
  the
• 13:33
  challenge.
• 13:35
  And.
• 13:36
  And
• 13:36
  then,
• 13:36
  you
• 13:37
  know,
• 13:37
  starting
• 13:37
  to
• 13:37
  actually
• 13:39
  photograph
• 13:40
  them
• 13:41
  doing
• 13:41
  their
• 13:41
  natural
• 13:42
  thing,
• 13:44
  which,
• 13:44
  I
• 13:44
  mean,
• 13:44
  I.
• 13:45
  I
• 13:45
  just
• 13:45
  don't
• 13:45
  think
• 13:45
  that
• 13:45
  comes
• 13:46
  naturally,
• 13:46
  even
• 13:47
  to
• 13:48
  people
• 13:48
  who
• 13:48
  grew
• 13:48
  up
• 13:49
  in
• 13:49
  the
• 13:49
  woods,
• 13:49
  because
• 13:49
  we're
• 13:49
  just
• 13:50
  used
• 13:50
  to
• 13:50
  just
• 13:50
  moving.
• 13:51
  You
• 13:51
  know,
• 13:52
  it's
• 13:52
  like.
• 13:52
  And
• 13:52
  your
• 13:53
  movement
• 13:53
  pushes
• 13:54
  birds.
• 13:55
  You
• 13:56
  know,
• 13:56
  if
• 13:56
  you
• 13:56
  just
• 13:56
  come
• 13:57
  trompsing
• 13:57
  through
• 13:57
  a
• 13:59
  forest,
• 14:00
  you're
• 14:00
  just
• 14:00
  kind
• 14:00
  of,
• 14:01
  you
• 14:01
  know,
• 14:02
  if
• 14:02
  you
• 14:02
  were
• 14:02
  seeing
• 14:02
  it
• 14:03
  from
• 14:03
  above,
• 14:05
  you
• 14:05
  would
• 14:05
  just
• 14:05
  see
• 14:06
  all
• 14:06
  the
• 14:06
  birds
• 14:07
  just
• 14:07
  part.
• 14:09
  Like
• 14:09
  a
• 14:09
  school
• 14:09
  of
• 14:10
  minnows
• 14:10
  with
• 14:10
  a
• 14:10
  tarpon
• 14:11
  swimming
• 14:11
  through
• 14:11
  it.
• 14:12
  That's
• 14:13
  just
• 14:13
  how
• 14:13
  it
• 14:13
  happens.
• 14:14
  Yeah.
• 14:15
  I
• 14:15
  don't
• 14:15
  think
• 14:15
  people
• 14:16
  appreciate
• 14:16
  that,
• 14:16
  you
• 14:17
  know,
• 14:17
  when
• 14:17
  they
• 14:17
  see
• 14:17
  a
• 14:17
  picture
• 14:18
  on
• 14:18
  the
• 14:18
  wall,
• 14:19
  like,
• 14:19
  how
• 14:19
  many
• 14:20
  hours
• 14:20
  it
• 14:20
  took
• 14:21
  to
• 14:21
  be
• 14:21
  in
• 14:22
  the
• 14:22
  spot
• 14:22
  to
• 14:22
  take
• 14:22
  the
• 14:23
  shot,
• 14:23
  to
• 14:23
  then
• 14:23
  get
• 14:24
  the
• 14:24
  shot.
• 14:26
  And
• 14:26
  what's
• 14:27
  really
• 14:28
  kind
• 14:28
  of
• 14:28
  interesting
• 14:29
  about
• 14:29
  it
• 14:29
  is
• 14:30
  that
• 14:31
  I
• 14:31
  was.
• 14:32
  I
• 14:32
  don't
• 14:33
  know.
• 14:33
  I
• 14:33
  didn't
• 14:33
  know
• 14:33
  what
• 14:33
  I
• 14:34
  thought
• 14:34
  about,
• 14:34
  like,
• 14:34
  how
• 14:34
  much
• 14:34
  time
• 14:35
  it's
• 14:35
  going
• 14:35
  to
• 14:35
  take
• 14:35
  me
• 14:36
  to
• 14:36
  get
• 14:36
  that
• 14:36
  shot.
• 14:37
  But
• 14:38
  the
• 14:38
  patience
• 14:39
  that
• 14:39
  I've
• 14:39
  had
• 14:39
  to
• 14:39
  develop
• 14:41
  has
• 14:41
  been
• 14:42
  such
• 14:43
  a
• 14:43
  gift
• 14:43
  to
• 14:43
  me,
• 14:44
  like,
• 14:45
  just
• 14:46
  being
• 14:46
  able
• 14:46
  to
• 14:47
  stop
• 14:47
  and
• 14:48
  just
• 14:48
  stand
• 14:48
  there
• 14:48
  for
• 14:49
  well
• 14:49
  over
• 14:49
  an
• 14:49
  hour
• 14:50
  waiting
• 14:50
  for
• 14:50
  something
• 14:50
  to
• 14:51
  happen.
• 14:51
  I've
• 14:51
  seen
• 14:52
  so
• 14:52
  many
• 14:52
  amazing
• 14:53
  things
• 14:53
  that
• 14:54
  never
• 14:54
  make
• 14:54
  it
• 14:55
  onto
• 14:55
  the
• 14:55
  camera,
• 14:56
  but
• 14:57
  those
• 14:57
  moments
• 14:57
  are
• 14:57
  in
• 14:58
  my
• 14:58
  head
• 14:59
  and
• 14:59
  I
• 14:59
  just,
• 15:00
  you
• 15:00
  know,
• 15:01
  I'm
• 15:02
  an
• 15:02
  absolute
• 15:02
  addict.
• 15:03
  I
• 15:04
  love
• 15:04
  being
• 15:04
  out
• 15:04
  there.
• 15:05
  I
• 15:06
  love
• 15:07
  sitting
• 15:07
  for
• 15:07
  a
• 15:08
  couple
• 15:08
  hours
• 15:08
  to
• 15:08
  see
• 15:09
  what
• 15:09
  I
• 15:09
  can
• 15:09
  see,
• 15:09
  like
• 15:10
  if
• 15:11
  there's
• 15:11
  an
• 15:11
  area.
• 15:11
  I've
• 15:12
  seen
• 15:12
  animals
• 15:12
  before
• 15:14
  and
• 15:15
  no,
• 15:16
  it's
• 15:16
  really
• 15:17
  been
• 15:17
  a
• 15:17
  gift
• 15:17
  to
• 15:17
  my
• 15:18
  life
• 15:19
  first
• 15:20
  and
• 15:20
  foremost.
• 15:21
  Yeah,
• 15:21
  that's
• 15:22
  fantastic
• 15:22
  too.
• 15:22
  And
• 15:22
  I,
• 15:23
  you
• 15:23
  know,
• 15:23
  I
• 15:23
  don't
• 15:23
  do
• 15:23
  photography
• 15:24
  anywhere
• 15:25
  on
• 15:25
  the
• 15:25
  scale
• 15:25
  that
• 15:25
  you
• 15:26
  do,
• 15:26
  but
• 15:26
  I
• 15:26
  do
• 15:27
  have,
• 15:27
  you
• 15:27
  know,
• 15:28
  stuff
• 15:28
  and
• 15:29
  I
• 15:29
  was
• 15:29
  kind
• 15:29
  of
• 15:29
  curious,
• 15:30
  you
• 15:30
  know,
• 15:30
  the,
• 15:30
  the
• 15:31
  photography
• 15:31
  nuts
• 15:31
  are
• 15:32
  going
• 15:32
  to
• 15:32
  want
• 15:32
  to
• 15:32
  know,
• 15:32
  kind
• 15:32
  of
• 15:33
  like,
• 15:33
  you
• 15:33
  know,
• 15:33
  what
• 15:33
  are
• 15:34
  your
• 15:34
  favorite
• 15:34
  camera
• 15:34
  bodies
• 15:35
  and
• 15:35
  lenses?
• 15:35
  You
• 15:35
  want
• 15:35
  to
• 15:35
  share
• 15:36
  those
• 15:36
  with
• 15:36
  folks?
• 15:38
  I
• 15:39
  can,
• 15:39
  but
• 15:40
  let
• 15:40
  me
• 15:40
  just
• 15:41
  get
• 15:41
  this
• 15:41
  out
• 15:41
  of
• 15:41
  the
• 15:42
  way.
• 15:42
  I'm
• 15:42
  not
• 15:42
  a
• 15:43
  technical
• 15:43
  guy
• 15:44
  at
• 15:44
  all.
• 15:46
  And
• 15:47
  you
• 15:47
  know,
• 15:47
  I've
• 15:48
  kind
• 15:48
  of
• 15:49
  asked
• 15:49
  around
• 15:49
  and
• 15:50
  what
• 15:50
  should
• 15:50
  I
• 15:50
  get.
• 15:52
  And
• 15:53
  I
• 15:53
  have
• 15:54
  ended
• 15:54
  at
• 15:54
  a
• 15:55
  very
• 15:55
  specific
• 15:55
  spot
• 15:57
  that
• 15:57
  I'd
• 15:57
  feel
• 15:57
  comfortable
• 15:58
  advising
• 15:59
  people,
• 15:59
  you
• 16:00
  know,
• 16:00
  on
• 16:01
  how
• 16:01
  to
• 16:01
  spend
• 16:01
  their
• 16:01
  hard
• 16:02
  earned
• 16:02
  money
• 16:02
  because
• 16:02
  I've
• 16:03
  wasted
• 16:03
  a
• 16:03
  ton
• 16:03
  of
• 16:03
  money.
• 16:05
  And
• 16:07
  the,
• 16:08
  the
• 16:08
  kit
• 16:09
  that
• 16:09
  I
• 16:09
  would
• 16:09
  recommend
• 16:10
  if,
• 16:11
  if
• 16:11
  you're
• 16:11
  out
• 16:11
  there
• 16:11
  and
• 16:12
  you're
• 16:12
  wanting
• 16:12
  to
• 16:12
  like
• 16:13
  step
• 16:13
  it
• 16:13
  up
• 16:13
  to
• 16:14
  a
• 16:14
  pro
• 16:14
  level
• 16:14
  kit,
• 16:15
  would
• 16:16
  be
• 16:16
  to
• 16:17
  go
• 16:17
  ahead
• 16:17
  and
• 16:17
  get
• 16:17
  the
• 16:18
  Sony
• 16:18
  A1.
• 16:19
  I'm,
• 16:19
  I'm
• 16:20
  sure
• 16:20
  they've
• 16:20
  got
• 16:21
  like
• 16:21
  the
• 16:22
  new
• 16:22
  A1
• 16:22
  or
• 16:23
  whatever
• 16:23
  version,
• 16:24
  but
• 16:25
  I've
• 16:25
  got
• 16:25
  the
• 16:25
  older
• 16:26
  one
• 16:27
  and
• 16:27
  I
• 16:28
  bought
• 16:28
  it
• 16:28
  used
• 16:30
  off
• 16:30
  a
• 16:30
  website
• 16:31
  online.
• 16:33
  And
• 16:34
  the
• 16:35
  one
• 16:36
  to
• 16:36
  400G
• 16:37
  master,
• 16:38
  that's
• 16:38
  the
• 16:38
  one.
• 16:39
  I,
• 16:39
  I
• 16:40
  bought
• 16:40
  the
• 16:40
  two
• 16:40
  to
• 16:41
  six.
• 16:41
  It's
• 16:42
  super
• 16:42
  heavy.
• 16:43
  Way
• 16:43
  harder
• 16:44
  to
• 16:44
  like
• 16:44
  hike
• 16:45
  or
• 16:45
  be
• 16:45
  on
• 16:45
  my
• 16:45
  bike.
• 16:46
  I
• 16:46
  do
• 16:46
  a
• 16:46
  lot
• 16:47
  of
• 16:47
  photography
• 16:47
  off
• 16:47
  my
• 16:48
  bike
• 16:51
  and
• 16:52
  what
• 16:52
  I

• 16:53
  that
• 16:53

• 16:54
  focal
• 16:55
  length
• 16:56
  or
• 16:57
  extra
• 16:57
  zoom,
• 16:59
  you
• 17:00
  know,
• 17:00
  as
• 17:01
  much
• 17:01
  as
• 17:01
  you
• 17:01
  think
• 17:01
  right
• 17:02
  away,
• 17:02
  oh,
• 17:02
  I
• 17:02
  need
• 17:02
  to
• 17:02
  zoom
• 17:03
  in.
• 17:03
  You'd
• 17:04
  be
• 17:04
  better
• 17:04
  off
• 17:05
  sneaking
• 17:05
  in
• 17:05
  on
• 17:05
  that
• 17:06
  animal
• 17:06
  a
• 17:06
  little
• 17:06
  bit
• 17:06
  more.
• 17:08
  And
• 17:08
  even
• 17:08
  if
• 17:08
  you
• 17:08
  blow
• 17:09
  some
• 17:09
  chances
• 17:10
  at
• 17:11
  one
• 17:11
  to
• 17:11
  400,
• 17:12
  it's
• 17:12
  just
• 17:12
  a
• 17:12
  little
• 17:12
  bit
• 17:13
  better
• 17:13
  quality
• 17:13
  lens.
• 17:14
  And
• 17:14
  so
• 17:15
  your
• 17:15
  results
• 17:16
  at
• 17:17
  the
• 17:17
  end
• 17:17
  of
• 17:17
  the
• 17:17
  day,
• 17:17
  once
• 17:18
  you
• 17:18
  get
• 17:18
  the
• 17:19
  right
• 17:19
  thing,
• 17:20
  you
• 17:20
  know,
• 17:20
  the
• 17:20
  right
• 17:21
  situation,
• 17:22
  you'll
• 17:22
  have
• 17:22
  a
• 17:23
  million
• 17:23
  shots.
• 17:23
  You
• 17:24
  know,
• 17:24
  it
• 17:24
  takes
• 17:24
  30
• 17:24
  shots
• 17:25
  a
• 17:25
  second.
• 17:25
  So
• 17:27
  I,
• 17:28
  I
• 17:28
  advise
• 17:29
  you
• 17:29
  to
• 17:30
  go
• 17:30
  with
• 17:31
  the
• 17:31
  shorter
• 17:32
  zoom
• 17:32
  and
• 17:33
  get
• 17:33
  the
• 17:33
  one
• 17:33
  to
• 17:34
  400.
• 17:35
  Before
• 17:36
  that
• 17:36
  I
• 17:36
  shot
• 17:36
  Canon
• 17:37
  and
• 17:37
  I
• 17:37
  always
• 17:37
  liked
• 17:37
  it
• 17:38
  and
• 17:39
  some
• 17:39
  of
• 17:39
  my
• 17:39
  friends
• 17:40
  shoot
• 17:40
  Nikon.
• 17:41
  I
• 17:41
  don't
• 17:41
  think
• 17:41
  it
• 17:41
  could
• 17:42
  go
• 17:42
  wrong
• 17:43
  right
• 17:43
  now
• 17:45
  because
• 17:45
  everybody's
• 17:46
  super
• 17:46
  highly
• 17:47
  competitive.
• 17:48
  But
• 17:48
  that's
• 17:48
  what
• 17:48
  I
• 17:49
  use
• 17:49
  is
• 17:49
  the
• 17:50
  Sony
• 17:50
  A1.
• 17:51
  Yeah,
• 17:52
  it's
• 17:52
  interesting
• 17:52
  too,
• 17:53
  because
• 17:53
  looking
• 17:53
  at
• 17:53
  like
• 17:53
  the
• 17:54
  photos
• 17:54
  that
• 17:54
  you
• 17:54
  post
• 17:55
  on
• 17:55
  Instagram,
• 17:55
  I
• 17:55
  mean
• 17:56
  to
• 17:56
  your
• 17:56
  point,
• 17:56
  like
• 17:57
  the,
• 17:57
  to
• 17:57
  be
• 17:57
  able
• 17:58
  to
• 17:58
  see
• 17:58
  the
• 17:58
  fibers
• 17:59
  and
• 17:59
  the
• 17:59
  feathers
• 18:00
  and
• 18:00
  those
• 18:00
  like
• 18:00
  really
• 18:01
  like,
• 18:02
  I
• 18:02
  think
• 18:02
  you've,
• 18:02
  I'm
• 18:03
  thinking
• 18:03
  of
• 18:03
  a
• 18:03
  picture.
• 18:03
  I
• 18:04
  believe
• 18:04
  it's
• 18:04
  a
• 18:04
  barred
• 18:04
  owl
• 18:05
  and
• 18:05
  it's
• 18:05
  just
• 18:05
  phenomenal,
• 18:06
  just
• 18:06
  the,
• 18:07
  the
• 18:07
  detail
• 18:07
  and
• 18:07
  the
• 18:08
  feathers.
• 18:10
  Well,
• 18:11
  and
• 18:11
  two,
• 18:12
  I,
• 18:12
  I
• 18:12
  will
• 18:12
  rent
• 18:13
  lenses.
• 18:14
  There's
• 18:14
  lenses
• 18:15
  that
• 18:15
  cost
• 18:16
  13,000
• 18:16
  bucks
• 18:17
  and
• 18:17
  trust
• 18:18
  me,
• 18:18
  I'd
• 18:18
  love
• 18:19
  to
• 18:19
  just
• 18:19
  drop
• 18:19
  in
• 18:20
  and
• 18:20
  buy
• 18:20
  one,
• 18:21
  but
• 18:21
  it's
• 18:21
  just
• 18:21
  not
• 18:21
  responsible
• 18:22
  when
• 18:22
  I
• 18:22
  just
• 18:23
  bought
• 18:23
  a
• 18:23
  gallery.
• 18:25
  So
• 18:26
  I
• 18:26
  rent
• 18:27
  them
• 18:27
  for
• 18:27
  a
• 18:28
  week
• 18:28
  and
• 18:29
  every
• 18:30
  single
• 18:30
  day
• 18:30
  I
• 18:31
  get
• 18:31
  up
• 18:31
  before
• 18:31
  light
• 18:32
  and
• 18:32
  go
• 18:33
  out
• 18:33
  for
• 18:33
  a
• 18:33
  couple
• 18:33
  hours
• 18:34
  and
• 18:35
  have
• 18:35
  dinner
• 18:35
  and
• 18:36
  then
• 18:36
  take
• 18:36
  off
• 18:37
  and
• 18:37
  do
• 18:37
  the
• 18:38
  last
• 18:38
  hour
• 18:38
  and
• 18:39
  a
• 18:39
  half
• 18:39
  of
• 18:39
  light
• 18:40
  and
• 18:41
  until
• 18:41
  dark,
• 18:43
  it's
• 18:44
  like,
• 18:44
  I,
• 18:44
  you
• 18:45
  know,
• 18:45
  it's
• 18:45
  like
• 18:45
  70
• 18:46
  bucks
• 18:46
  a
• 18:46
  day
• 18:46
  to
• 18:46
  have
• 18:47
  that
• 18:47
  lens
• 18:47
  and
• 18:47
  you
• 18:47
  gotta
• 18:48
  do
• 18:48
  it
• 18:48
  for
• 18:48
  a
• 18:48
  week.
• 18:48
  But
• 18:49
  it's
• 18:49
  like
• 18:49
  the
• 18:49
  results
• 18:50
  are
• 18:50
  amazing.
• 18:52
  It's,
• 18:52
  it
• 18:52
  truly
• 18:53
  is
• 18:53
  that
• 18:53
  much
• 18:53
  better
• 18:54
  than,
• 18:55
  than
• 18:55
  the
• 18:56
  lenses
• 18:57
  that
• 18:57
  I
• 18:57
  own.
• 18:57
  So
• 18:59
  that's
• 18:59
  another
• 19:00
  thing
• 19:00
  I'll
• 19:00
  do.
• 19:01
  Interesting.
• 19:02
  And
• 19:02
  so
• 19:03
  should
• 19:03
  folks
• 19:03
  expect
• 19:03
  to
• 19:04
  see
• 19:04
  kind
• 19:04
  of
• 19:04
  in
• 19:04
  the
• 19:05
  coming
• 19:05
  years
• 19:06
  some
• 19:06
  of
• 19:06
  your
• 19:06
  photography,
• 19:08
  you
• 19:08
  know,
• 19:09
  kind
• 19:09
  of
• 19:09
  like
• 19:09
  you've
• 19:09
  done
• 19:10
  with
• 19:10
  your
• 19:10
  art,
• 19:10
  you're
• 19:10
  going
• 19:10
  to
• 19:10
  find
• 19:11
  it
• 19:11
  in
• 19:11
  kind
• 19:11
  of
• 19:11
  different
• 19:11
  products
• 19:12
  and
• 19:12
  different
• 19:12
  collaborations
• 19:13
  or
• 19:13
  is
• 19:13
  it
• 19:13
  just
• 19:13
  going
• 19:14
  to
• 19:14
  be,
• 19:14
  you
• 19:14
  know,
• 19:15
  standalone,
• 19:16
  you
• 19:16
  know,
• 19:17
  prints
• 19:17
  and
• 19:17
  originals
• 19:18
  in
• 19:18
  the
• 19:18
  gallery?
• 19:20
  I
• 19:20
  haven't,
• 19:21
  you
• 19:21
  know,
• 19:21
  thought
• 19:21
  about
• 19:22
  that
• 19:22
  or.
• 19:22
  That's
• 19:22
  not
• 19:23
  something
• 19:23
  I'm
• 19:24
  wanting
• 19:25
  to
• 19:25
  seek
• 19:25
  out.
• 19:27
  You
• 19:27
  know,
• 19:29
  I
• 19:29
  don't
• 19:29
  know
• 19:29
  what's
• 19:30
  going
• 19:30
  to
• 19:30
  happen
• 19:30
  with
• 19:30
  the
• 19:30
  photography.
• 19:32
  Nothing
• 19:32
  needs
• 19:33
  to
• 19:33
  happen
• 19:33
  for
• 19:33
  it
• 19:33
  still
• 19:34
  to
• 19:34
  be
• 19:34
  like
• 19:34
  an
• 19:35
  amazing
• 19:36
  way
• 19:36
  to
• 19:36
  spend
• 19:36
  my
• 19:37
  time.
• 19:38
  You
• 19:38
  know
• 19:38
  what
• 19:38
  I
• 19:38
  mean?
• 19:39
  And
• 19:39
  that's
• 19:39
  the
• 19:39
  most
• 19:40
  important
• 19:40
  thing
• 19:40
  and
• 19:41
  I,
• 19:42
  I
• 19:42
  love
• 19:42
  to
• 19:43
  share
• 19:43
  it
• 19:43
  with
• 19:43
  people
• 19:45
  and
• 19:45
  I've.
• 19:46
  For
• 19:47
  years,
• 19:47
  you
• 19:47
  know,
• 19:48
  back
• 19:48
  when
• 19:48
  I
• 19:48
  was
• 19:48
  kind
• 19:49
  of
• 19:49
  still
• 19:49
  developing
• 19:50
  it,
• 19:50
  I
• 19:51
  was
• 19:51
  so
• 19:51
  frustrated
• 19:52
  with
• 19:52
  my
• 19:53
  results.
• 19:53
  I,
• 19:54
  I
• 19:54
  knew
• 19:54
  the
• 19:55
  animals,
• 19:55
  I
• 19:56
  knew
• 19:56
  the
• 19:56
  woods
• 19:56
  and
• 19:57
  I
• 19:57
  was
• 19:57
  comfortable
• 19:57
  with
• 19:57
  that.
• 19:58
  I
• 19:58
  wasn't
• 19:58
  very
• 19:59
  good
• 19:59
  with
• 20:00
  the
• 20:00
  cameras
• 20:01
  and
• 20:01
  the
• 20:01
  computer
• 20:02
  and
• 20:03
  that
• 20:03
  was,
• 20:04
  you
• 20:04
  know,
• 20:04
  it's
• 20:04
  kind
• 20:05
  of
• 20:05
  need
• 20:05
  that
• 20:07
  to
• 20:07
  get
• 20:07
  a
• 20:07
  good
• 20:07
  photo.
• 20:08
  And
• 20:10
  so,
• 20:10
  you
• 20:10
  know,
• 20:10
  you,
• 20:11
  you
• 20:11
  just
• 20:11
  gotta
• 20:12
  figure
• 20:12
  it
• 20:13
  out,
• 20:13
  you
• 20:13
  know,
• 20:14
  and
• 20:15
  not
• 20:15
  bought
• 20:16
  the
• 20:16
  wrong
• 20:16
  lenses,
• 20:17
  never
• 20:17
  rented
• 20:17
  them
• 20:18
  and
• 20:18
  borrowed
• 20:18
  them.
• 20:18
  And
• 20:20
  you
• 20:20
  know,
• 20:21
  just
• 20:21
  very
• 20:22
  little
• 20:22
  nuances
• 20:23
  are
• 20:23
  what
• 20:23
  it's
• 20:24
  all
• 20:24
  about
• 20:25
  as
• 20:25
  far
• 20:25
  as
• 20:25
  getting
• 20:26
  the
• 20:26
  really
• 20:27
  crisp,
• 20:28
  like
• 20:28
  pro
• 20:28
  level
• 20:29
  stuff,
• 20:29
  especially
• 20:30
  with
• 20:30
  flying
• 20:31
  birds.
• 20:33
  Yeah,
• 20:33
  it's
• 20:33
  interesting
• 20:34
  because,
• 20:34
  I
• 20:34
  mean
• 20:34
  I'm,
• 20:34
  I'M
• 20:35
  a
• 20:35
  little
• 20:35
  bit
• 20:35
  older
• 20:35
  than
• 20:36
  you.
• 20:36
  So
• 20:36
  like
• 20:36
  I
• 20:36
  remember
• 20:37
  like
• 20:37
  when
• 20:37
  I
• 20:37
  was
• 20:37
  a
• 20:37
  kid
• 20:38
  and
• 20:38
  had
• 20:38
  like
• 20:38
  my
• 20:38
  first
• 20:39
  Canon
• 20:39
  camera,
• 20:40
  you
• 20:40
  know,
• 20:40
  you
• 20:40
  would,
• 20:41
  you
• 20:41
  were
• 20:41
  shooting
• 20:41
  film,
• 20:42
  right?
• 20:42
  And
• 20:42
  you'd
• 20:42
  take
• 20:42
  the
• 20:43
  pictures
• 20:43
  and
• 20:43
  you
• 20:43
  know,
• 20:43
  I
• 20:44
  didn't
• 20:44
  have
• 20:44
  a
• 20:45
  dark
• 20:45
  room,
• 20:45
  so
• 20:45
  you
• 20:45
  know,
• 20:46
  when
• 20:46
  I
• 20:46
  took
• 20:46
  slide
• 20:47
  slides
• 20:48
  because
• 20:48
  it
• 20:48
  was
• 20:48
  cheaper,
• 20:49
  right.
• 20:49
  And
• 20:50
  you
• 20:50
  know,
• 20:50
  you
• 20:51
  take
• 20:51
  the
• 20:51
  pictures
• 20:51
  and
• 20:51
  you
• 20:52
  didn't
• 20:52
  know.
• 20:52
  And
• 20:52
  it's
• 20:52
  like
• 20:53
  it
• 20:53
  was
• 20:53
  always
• 20:53
  amazing.
• 20:54
  I
• 20:54
  think
• 20:54
  when.
• 20:56
  I
• 20:56
  think
• 20:56
  it
• 20:56
  might
• 20:56
  have
• 20:56
  been
• 20:57
  when
• 20:57
  my
• 20:57
  second
• 20:58
  son
• 20:58
  was
• 20:58
  born,
• 20:58
  I
• 20:58
  got
• 20:58
  my
• 20:59
  first
• 20:59
  digital
• 20:59
  SLR
• 21:00
  and
• 21:01
  I
• 21:02
  was
• 21:02
  just
• 21:02
  blown
• 21:02
  away
• 21:02
  at
• 21:03
  how
• 21:03
  quickly
• 21:03
  you
• 21:04
  could
• 21:04
  progress
• 21:04
  because
• 21:04
  you
• 21:04
  just
• 21:05
  didn't
• 21:05
  care.
• 21:05
  You
• 21:05
  go
• 21:05
  shoot
• 21:06
  a
• 21:06
  card
• 21:06
  full
• 21:06
  of
• 21:06
  stuff
• 21:06
  and
• 21:07
  come
• 21:07
  home
• 21:07
  and
• 21:07
  delete
• 21:07
  95%
• 21:08
  of
• 21:08
  it.
• 21:08
  Right.
• 21:10
  It
• 21:10
  is
• 21:10
  crazy.
• 21:11
  Yeah,
• 21:11
  just
• 21:11
  like
• 21:12
  the
• 21:12
  trial
• 21:12
  and
• 21:13
  error.
• 21:13
  You
• 21:13
  can
• 21:13
  look
• 21:14
  and
• 21:14
  see
• 21:14
  your
• 21:14
  mistakes
• 21:15
  quick.
• 21:17
  But
• 21:18
  you
• 21:18
  know,
• 21:19
  although
• 21:19
  I
• 21:19
  am
• 21:19
  a
• 21:20
  little
• 21:20
  bit
• 21:20
  younger
• 21:20
  than
• 21:20
  you,
• 21:21
  I,
• 21:21
  I
• 21:22
  minored
• 21:22
  in
• 21:23
  photography
• 21:24
  in
• 21:24
  art
• 21:25
  school
• 21:25
  and
• 21:26
  to
• 21:26
  that
• 21:26
  point
• 21:27
  it
• 21:27
  was
• 21:27
  all
• 21:28
  film
• 21:28
  in
• 21:29
  darkroom.
• 21:30
  It
• 21:31
  wasn't
• 21:31
  until
• 21:31
  I
• 21:32
  got
• 21:32
  out
• 21:32
  of
• 21:32
  art
• 21:33
  school
• 21:33
  and
• 21:33
  started
• 21:34
  as
• 21:35
  a
• 21:35
  painter
• 21:35
  that
• 21:35
  I
• 21:36
  bought
• 21:36
  my
• 21:36
  first
• 21:37
  digital.
• 21:37
  And
• 21:37
  I
• 21:37
  mean
• 21:38
  at
• 21:38
  that
• 21:38
  point
• 21:38
  everyone
• 21:38
  was
• 21:39
  like,
• 21:39
  the
• 21:39
  fad's
• 21:40
  going
• 21:40
  to
• 21:40
  pass.
• 21:40
  It's
• 21:41
  not,
• 21:42
  it's
• 21:42
  not
• 21:43
  sticking
• 21:43
  with
• 21:43
  us.
• 21:44
  And
• 21:44
  I
• 21:44
  had
• 21:45
  spent
• 21:45
  a
• 21:45
  bunch
• 21:45
  of
• 21:45
  money
• 21:46
  on
• 21:46
  a
• 21:47
  Canon
• 21:48
  film
• 21:48
  camera
• 21:49
  because
• 21:49
  I
• 21:49
  was
• 21:49
  like,
• 21:50
  no
• 21:50
  way,
• 21:50
  I
• 21:50
  can't.
• 21:51
  Like
• 21:51
  in
• 21:52
  my
• 21:52
  mind
• 21:52
  at
• 21:53
  that
• 21:53
  point,
• 21:54
  I
• 21:54
  couldn't
• 21:54
  fathom
• 21:55
  how
• 21:55
  you
• 21:55
  could
• 21:55
  digitalize
• 21:57
  the
• 21:57
  process
• 21:57
  of
• 21:58
  taking
• 21:58
  a
• 21:58
  photo
• 21:59
  because
• 22:00
  I
• 22:00
  understood
• 22:00
  the
• 22:01
  way
• 22:02
  the
• 22:02
  mechanics
• 22:02
  of
• 22:02
  the
• 22:03
  camera
• 22:03
  and
• 22:03
  the
• 22:04
  film
• 22:05
  worked
• 22:05
  and
• 22:06
  I
• 22:06
  just
• 22:06
  couldn't
• 22:07
  imagine
• 22:08
  that
• 22:08
  a
• 22:09
  digital
• 22:09
  version
• 22:09
  could
• 22:10
  even
• 22:10
  compete.
• 22:11
  But
• 22:13
  I
• 22:13
  was
• 22:13
  wrong.
• 22:15
  Yeah,
• 22:15
  we've
• 22:16
  got
• 22:16
  a
• 22:16
  terrific
• 22:17
  camera
• 22:17
  shop
• 22:18
  here
• 22:18
  in
• 22:18
  Charlotte
• 22:18
  that
• 22:19
  is
• 22:20
  still
• 22:20
  that
• 22:20
  kind
• 22:20
  of
• 22:20
  mecca.
• 22:21
  But
• 22:21
  yeah,
• 22:21
  I
• 22:21
  mean,
• 22:21
  I,
• 22:22
  you
• 22:22
  know,
• 22:23
  at
• 22:23
  this
• 22:23
  point,
• 22:23
  I
• 22:24
  don't
• 22:24
  know,
• 22:24
  I
• 22:24
  think
• 22:24
  you'd
• 22:24
  have
• 22:24
  to
• 22:25
  like
• 22:25
  bark
• 22:25
  at
• 22:25
  the
• 22:25
  moon
• 22:25
  and
• 22:26
  rub
• 22:26
  your
• 22:26
  tummy
• 22:26
  three
• 22:26
  times
• 22:27
  to
• 22:27
  be
• 22:27
  able
• 22:27
  to
• 22:27
  give
• 22:27
  them
• 22:27
  a
• 22:27
  roll
• 22:28
  of
• 22:28
  film
• 22:28
  to
• 22:28
  process
• 22:30
  rips.
• 22:31
  They
• 22:31
  will.
• 22:32
  I
• 22:32
  mean,
• 22:33
  I
• 22:33
  think
• 22:33
  it's
• 22:34
  come
• 22:34
  back
• 22:34
  in
• 22:34
  a
• 22:34
  big
• 22:35
  way,
• 22:35
  you
• 22:35
  know,
• 22:36
  the
• 22:36
  whole
• 22:37
  film
• 22:38
  thing.
• 22:38
  But
• 22:38
  like
• 22:39
  you
• 22:39
  say,
• 22:41
  it's
• 22:42
  when
• 22:42
  you're
• 22:43
  used
• 22:43
  to
• 22:43
  just
• 22:43
  having
• 22:44
  immediate
• 22:44
  gratification
• 22:46
  and
• 22:46
  I
• 22:46
  mean,
• 22:46
  the
• 22:47
  prints
• 22:47
  that
• 22:47
  I've
• 22:48
  got
• 22:48
  at
• 22:48
  the
• 22:48
  gallery,
• 22:49
  I
• 22:49
  mean,
• 22:50
  it's
• 22:50
  one
• 22:51
  thing
• 22:51
  to
• 22:51
  take
• 22:51
  photos
• 22:52
  and
• 22:52
  just,
• 22:53
  you
• 22:53
  know,
• 22:54
  shoot
• 22:54
  for
• 22:54
  as
• 22:55
  good
• 22:55
  of,
• 22:56
  of
• 22:56
  a
• 22:56
  photo
• 22:57
  and
• 22:57
  just
• 22:57
  close
• 22:57
  to
• 22:58
  perfection
• 22:58
  as
• 22:58
  you
• 22:58
  can
• 22:59
  on
• 22:59
  a
• 22:59
  Big
• 22:59
  Mac
• 23:00
  screen,
• 23:01
  but
• 23:01
  when
• 23:01
  you
• 23:02
  actually
• 23:02
  get
• 23:02
  a
• 23:03
  60
• 23:03
  inch
• 23:04
  print
• 23:05
  on
• 23:06
  the
• 23:06
  wall,
• 23:07
  that's
• 23:07
  when
• 23:07
  you're
• 23:07
  like,
• 23:08
  okay,
• 23:09
  I
• 23:09
  know
• 23:09
  like
• 23:10
  the
• 23:10
  feeling
• 23:11
  of
• 23:11
  that
• 23:11
  photo
• 23:12
  really
• 23:12
  comes
• 23:13
  through
• 23:14
  and
• 23:15
  is
• 23:15
  it
• 23:15
  a
• 23:15
  little
• 23:16
  over
• 23:16
  or
• 23:16
  underexposed
• 23:17
  or
• 23:17
  what's
• 23:18
  the
• 23:18
  feeling
• 23:18
  of
• 23:18
  the
• 23:19
  colors
• 23:19
  and
• 23:22
  it,
• 23:22
  you
• 23:23
  know,
• 23:23
  and
• 23:24
  now,
• 23:24
  now
• 23:24
  that
• 23:25
  I've
• 23:25
  been
• 23:25
  doing
• 23:25
  that
• 23:25
  for
• 23:26
  a
• 23:26
  while
• 23:26
  in
• 23:27
  printing,
• 23:28
  when
• 23:28
  I'm
• 23:28
  out,
• 23:29
  you
• 23:29
  know,
• 23:30
  on
• 23:30
  a
• 23:30
  photo
• 23:31
  shoot,
• 23:31
  I'm
• 23:31
  thinking
• 23:32
  about,
• 23:32
  oh,
• 23:32
  like,
• 23:33
  I
• 23:33
  need
• 23:33
  more
• 23:33
  light.
• 23:34
  I
• 23:34
  need
• 23:34
  to,
• 23:34
  like,
• 23:35
  you
• 23:35
  know,
• 23:36
  get
• 23:36
  a
• 23:36
  little
• 23:36
  bit
• 23:37
  more
• 23:37
  light
• 23:37
  here.
• 23:37
  Or
• 23:38
  I'm
• 23:38
  thinking
• 23:39
  about
• 23:39
  the
• 23:39
  photos
• 23:39
  that
• 23:39
  I
• 23:40
  have
• 23:40
  printed
• 23:41
  and
• 23:41
  they
• 23:41
  do
• 23:41
  make
• 23:41
  me
• 23:42
  a
• 23:42
  little
• 23:42
  bit
• 23:42
  better
• 23:43
  or
• 23:43
  they
• 23:43
  at
• 23:43
  least
• 23:44
  make
• 23:44
  me
• 23:44
  make
• 23:44
  a
• 23:44
  little
• 23:45
  different
• 23:45
  choices.
• 23:47
  Interesting.
• 23:48
  And,
• 23:48
  you
• 23:48
  know,
• 23:48
  before
• 23:49
  we
• 23:49
  shift
• 23:50
  gears
• 23:50
  to
• 23:50
  the
• 23:50
  gallery,
• 23:51
  you
• 23:51
  know,
• 23:51
  obviously,
• 23:51
  you
• 23:52
  know,
• 23:52
  you
• 23:53
  spend
• 23:53
  a
• 23:53
  lot
• 23:53
  of
• 23:53
  time
• 23:54
  on
• 23:54
  the
• 23:54
  water.
• 23:54
  Do
• 23:54
  you
• 23:54
  have
• 23:54
  any
• 23:55
  fishing
• 23:55
  adventures
• 23:55
  you
• 23:55
  want
• 23:56
  to
• 23:56
  share
• 23:56
  with
• 23:56
  our
• 23:56
  listeners?
• 23:59
  Well,
• 24:01
  I.
• 24:01
  My
• 24:02
  last
• 24:02
  fishing
• 24:02
  adventure
• 24:03
  was
• 24:03
  up
• 24:04
  to
• 24:04
  the
• 24:04
  knack
• 24:05
  knack
• 24:05
  river
• 24:06
  lodge
• 24:06
  or
• 24:06
  river
• 24:07
  camp.
• 24:07
  Excuse
• 24:07
  me.
• 24:08
  They'll
• 24:09
  probably
• 24:09
  shoot
• 24:09
  me
• 24:09
  for
• 24:09
  that.
• 24:11
  And
• 24:12
  that
• 24:13
  was
• 24:13
  an
• 24:13
  awesome
• 24:13
  adventure.
• 24:15
  Have
• 24:15
  you
• 24:15
  been
• 24:15
  to
• 24:16
  Alaska?
• 24:17
  I
• 24:17
  have
• 24:17
  not,
• 24:18
  but
• 24:18
  it's
• 24:18
  kind
• 24:18
  of.
• 24:18
  It's
• 24:19
  on
• 24:19
  my
• 24:19
  list.
• 24:19
  I've
• 24:19
  got
• 24:19
  some
• 24:20
  other
• 24:20
  places
• 24:20
  I
• 24:21
  really
• 24:21
  want
• 24:21
  to
• 24:21
  go.
• 24:22
  My
• 24:22
  bucket
• 24:22
  list
• 24:22
  trip
• 24:23
  is
• 24:23
  Mongolia.
• 24:23
  But,
• 24:24
  you
• 24:24
  know,
• 24:24
  I
• 24:24
  definitely
• 24:24
  want
• 24:24
  to
• 24:25
  get
• 24:25
  to
• 24:25
  Alaska
• 24:26
  before
• 24:26
  I
• 24:26
  shuffle
• 24:27
  off
• 24:27
  my
• 24:27
  mortal
• 24:28
  coil.
• 24:29
  So.
• 24:30
  So
• 24:31
  this
• 24:32
  was
• 24:32
  my
• 24:33
  fourth
• 24:34
  trip
• 24:34
  to
• 24:34
  Alaska
• 24:35
  that
• 24:36
  all
• 24:36
  of
• 24:36
  them
• 24:36
  have
• 24:36
  been
• 24:37
  fishing
• 24:38
  trips.
• 24:39
  And
• 24:40
  I
• 24:40
  will
• 24:41
  say,
• 24:41
  you
• 24:41
  know,
• 24:43
  I
• 24:43
  think
• 24:44
  people
• 24:46
  kind
• 24:46
  of
• 24:48
  think
• 24:49
  about
• 24:49
  the,
• 24:49
  like,
• 24:50
  oh,
• 24:50
  it's
• 24:50
  not
• 24:50
  what
• 24:50
  it
• 24:51
  was,
• 24:51
  or,
• 24:51
  you
• 24:52
  know,
• 24:52
  you
• 24:52
  can
• 24:52
  say
• 24:52
  that
• 24:53
  about
• 24:53
  anything.
• 24:54
  But.
• 24:56
  And
• 24:56
  that
• 24:56
  may
• 24:56
  be
• 24:56
  true.
• 24:57
  I'm
• 24:57
  not
• 24:58
  trying
• 24:58
  to
• 24:58
  say
• 24:58
  that
• 24:59
  there
• 24:59
  the
• 24:59
  fish
• 24:59
  counts
• 25:00
  haven't
• 25:00
  gone
• 25:00
  down,
• 25:00
  but
• 25:01
  it's
• 25:01
  still
• 25:01
  so
• 25:02
  significantly
• 25:02
  better
• 25:03
  than
• 25:03
  any
• 25:03
  other
• 25:04
  place
• 25:04
  I've
• 25:04
  ever
• 25:05
  fished
• 25:06
  and
• 25:06
  I've
• 25:07
  been
• 25:07
  around
• 25:07
  the
• 25:08
  world.
• 25:11
  You
• 25:11
  gotta
• 25:11
  go,
• 25:12
  you
• 25:12
  gotta
• 25:12
  go
• 25:12
  do
• 25:12
  Alaska.
• 25:13
  It's
• 25:13
  like
• 25:13
  a.
• 25:15
  You
• 25:16
  go
• 25:16
  in,
• 25:17
  you
• 25:17
  get
• 25:18
  a
• 25:18
  certain
• 25:18
  distance
• 25:19
  from
• 25:19
  Alaska
• 25:20
  and
• 25:20
  you're
• 25:20
  en
• 25:20
  route
• 25:21
  in.
• 25:22
  Every
• 25:22
  dude
• 25:23
  has
• 25:24
  camo
• 25:24
  and
• 25:25
  fly
• 25:25
  rods
• 25:26
  and,
• 25:27
  you
• 25:27
  know,
• 25:27
  you
• 25:28
  walk
• 25:28
  it
• 25:28
  through
• 25:28
  the
• 25:28
  airports
• 25:29
  and
• 25:29
  people
• 25:29
  are
• 25:29
  like,
• 25:30
  oh,
• 25:30
  where
• 25:30
  are
• 25:30
  you
• 25:30
  going?
• 25:30
  Well,
• 25:31
  yeah,
• 25:31
  this
• 25:32
  is
• 25:32
  my
• 25:33
  sixth
• 25:33
  trip
• 25:34
  and
• 25:34
  I
• 25:35
  want
• 25:35
  to
• 25:35
  catch
• 25:35
  this.
• 25:35
  And
• 25:36
  I'm
• 25:36
  hoping
• 25:36
  in.
• 25:37
  I
• 25:37
  mean,
• 25:37
  it's
• 25:38
  just
• 25:38
  then
• 25:38
  you
• 25:38
  get
• 25:38
  to
• 25:39
  Anchorage
• 25:39
  and
• 25:40
  everyone's
• 25:41
  going
• 25:41
  from
• 25:41
  there
• 25:42
  to,
• 25:42
  you
• 25:42
  know,
• 25:43
  out
• 25:43
  to
• 25:43
  the
• 25:43
  area
• 25:44
  they're
• 25:44
  going
• 25:44
  to
• 25:44
  fish.
• 25:45
  And
• 25:46
  it's.
• 25:46
  It's
• 25:47
  cool.
• 25:47
  It
• 25:47
  just
• 25:48
  is.
• 25:49
  It's
• 25:49
  like
• 25:49
  nothing
• 25:49
  else.
• 25:50
  And
• 25:51
  you
• 25:51
  got.
• 25:51
  You
• 25:51
  gotta
• 25:52
  go
• 25:52
  and
• 25:52
  experience
• 25:53
  it
• 25:53
  and
• 25:53
  just
• 25:53
  be
• 25:54
  a
• 25:54
  part
• 25:54
  of
• 25:54
  it.
• 25:56
  Yeah.
• 25:56
  And
• 25:56
  is
• 25:56
  there
• 25:57
  any
• 25:57
  kind
• 25:57
  of
• 25:57
  particular
• 25:58
  species
• 25:59
  or
• 25:59
  time
• 25:59
  of
• 25:59
  the
• 26:00
  season
• 26:00
  that
• 26:00
  you
• 26:00
  like
• 26:00
  to
• 26:00
  be
• 26:01
  out
• 26:01
  there?
• 26:03
  You
• 26:03
  know,
• 26:04
  I've
• 26:05
  tried
• 26:06
  some
• 26:06
  different
• 26:09
  parts
• 26:09
  of
• 26:10
  the
• 26:10
  summer
• 26:10
  and
• 26:10
  fall,
• 26:12
  but
• 26:13
  I'VE
• 26:14
  done
• 26:14
  the
• 26:16
  Kenai
• 26:16
  Peninsula
• 26:17
  and
• 26:18
  fish
• 26:19
  the
• 26:19
  Kenai,
• 26:19
  all
• 26:19
  different
• 26:20
  parts
• 26:20
  of
• 26:20
  that
• 26:20
  for
• 26:20
  silvers
• 26:21
  and
• 26:21
  rainbows
• 26:22
  and
• 26:22
  dollies.
• 26:26
  And
• 26:26
  then
• 26:27
  I've
• 26:27
  done
• 26:27
  three
• 26:28
  trips
• 26:28
  to
• 26:28
  Bristol
• 26:29
  Bay,
• 26:29
  two
• 26:30
  to
• 26:30
  the
• 26:30
  Sportsman's
• 26:31
  Lodge
• 26:32
  on
• 26:32
  the
• 26:33
  Quee
• 26:33
  Jack.
• 26:34
  And
• 26:35
  then
• 26:35
  this
• 26:36
  last
• 26:36
  one
• 26:36
  was
• 26:36
  to
• 26:38
  the
• 26:38
  Knack
• 26:39
  Knack.
• 26:40
  And
• 26:41
  I
• 26:41
  got
• 26:41
  my,
• 26:43
  I
• 26:44
  had
• 26:44
  a,
• 26:44
  I
• 26:44
  had
• 26:44
  a
• 26:44
  few
• 26:45
  goals.
• 26:46
  Do
• 26:46
  you
• 26:46
  do
• 26:46
  that
• 26:47
  when
• 26:47
  you
• 26:47
  travel,
• 26:47
  make
• 26:48
  goals
• 26:48
  that
• 26:48
  you
• 26:48
  try
• 26:49
  to
• 26:49
  fulfill?
• 26:50
  Yeah,
• 26:50
  I
• 26:51
  do.
• 26:51
  It's,
• 26:51
  it's
• 26:51
  part
• 26:52
  of
• 26:52
  my
• 26:52
  charm,
• 26:52
  as
• 26:52
  people
• 26:53
  say.
• 26:57
  So
• 26:58
  my
• 26:59
  goals
• 26:59
  in
• 27:00
  like
• 27:00
  I
• 27:00
  brought
• 27:01
  my
• 27:01
  buddy
• 27:03
  who
• 27:04
  hilariously
• 27:05
  is
• 27:06
  also
• 27:06
  named
• 27:06
  Derek.
• 27:07
  And
• 27:08
  everyone
• 27:08
  gets
• 27:08
  a
• 27:08
  kick
• 27:08
  out
• 27:09
  of
• 27:09
  that.
• 27:10
  There
• 27:10
  was
• 27:11
  no
• 27:11
  purpose
• 27:11
  in
• 27:11
  that.
• 27:12
  It
• 27:12
  just
• 27:12
  happened.
• 27:13
  But
• 27:14
  anyway,
• 27:14
  he's
• 27:14
  never
• 27:15
  been
• 27:15
  to
• 27:15
  Alaska,
• 27:15
  but
• 27:16
  we
• 27:16
  tied
• 27:17
  flies
• 27:17
  for
• 27:17
  the
• 27:17
  trip
• 27:18
  and
• 27:18
  you
• 27:19
  know,
• 27:19
  talked
• 27:19
  about
• 27:19
  a
• 27:20
  lot
• 27:20
  what
• 27:20
  we
• 27:20
  want
• 27:20
  to
• 27:21
  do.
• 27:21
  And
• 27:21
  he's
• 27:22
  like
• 27:22
  all
• 27:22
  into
• 27:23
  the
• 27:23
  swinging
• 27:23
  flies
• 27:24
  part,
• 27:25
  which
• 27:25
  as
• 27:26
  soon
• 27:26
  as
• 27:26
  you
• 27:27
  make
• 27:27
  up
• 27:27
  your
• 27:28
  mind,
• 27:28
  just
• 27:28
  let.
• 27:28
  Oh,
• 27:29
  I
• 27:29
  can't
• 27:29
  wait
• 27:29
  for
• 27:29
  that.
• 27:30
  Well,
• 27:30
  guess
• 27:30
  what?
• 27:31
  To
• 27:32
  the
• 27:32
  swinging
• 27:32
  flies
• 27:33
  doesn't
• 27:33
  really
• 27:34
  start
• 27:34
  until
• 27:34
  the
• 27:35
  salmon
• 27:35
  stop
• 27:35
  dropping
• 27:36
  eggs
• 27:36
  because
• 27:37
  the
• 27:37
  eggs
• 27:37
  are
• 27:37
  just
• 27:37
  the
• 27:38
  easy,
• 27:38
  best
• 27:39
  protein
• 27:39
  source.
• 27:40
  When
• 27:41
  we
• 27:41
  got
• 27:41
  there,
• 27:41
  they
• 27:41
  were
• 27:41
  still
• 27:42
  dropping
• 27:42
  eggs,
• 27:42
  so
• 27:43
  the
• 27:43
  swinging
• 27:44
  didn't
• 27:44
  really
• 27:44
  kick
• 27:45
  in.
• 27:46
  So
• 27:46
  we
• 27:47
  had,
• 27:47
  you
• 27:47
  know,
• 27:47
  spent
• 27:48
  a
• 27:48
  ton
• 27:48
  of
• 27:48
  time
• 27:48
  getting
• 27:49
  ready
• 27:49
  and
• 27:49
  practicing
• 27:50
  like
• 27:50
  our
• 27:51
  spay
• 27:51
  casting
• 27:51
  and
• 27:52
  tying
• 27:52
  swung
• 27:53
  fly
• 27:53
  type
• 27:53
  of
• 27:54
  patterns
• 27:55
  and.
• 27:56
  But
• 27:57
  that's
• 27:57
  how
• 27:57
  it
• 27:57
  works.
• 27:57
  So
• 27:58
  then
• 27:58
  you
• 27:58
  move
• 27:58
  on
• 27:58
  to
• 27:58
  the
• 27:59
  next
• 27:59
  thing.
• 28:00
  And
• 28:02
  I
• 28:02
  really
• 28:02
  wanted
• 28:03
  to
• 28:03
  get
• 28:03
  a
• 28:03
  30
• 28:03
  plus
• 28:04
  inch
• 28:05
  rainbow
• 28:07
  and
• 28:07
  so
• 28:07
  that
• 28:08
  now
• 28:08
  we're
• 28:08
  using
• 28:08
  like,
• 28:10
  you
• 28:10
  know,
• 28:10
  the
• 28:11
  pegged
• 28:11
  beads,
• 28:12
  which,
• 28:13
  you
• 28:13
  know,
• 28:13
  whatever.
• 28:14
  I,
• 28:15
  I'd
• 28:15
  rather
• 28:15
  catch
• 28:16
  it
• 28:16
  on
• 28:16
  a
• 28:16
  swung
• 28:17
  fly,
• 28:17
  but
• 28:17
  this
• 28:17
  is
• 28:17
  what's
• 28:18
  happening.
• 28:18
  So
• 28:18
  that's
• 28:18
  what
• 28:19
  I'm
• 28:19
  doing.
• 28:20
  And
• 28:21
  I
• 28:21
  think
• 28:21
  our,
• 28:23
  oh,
• 28:24
  by
• 28:24
  fourth
• 28:24
  day
• 28:25
  we
• 28:26
  did
• 28:26
  spend
• 28:26
  two
• 28:26
  days
• 28:27
  swinging
• 28:27
  flies.
• 28:27
  Didn't
• 28:28
  catch
• 28:28
  a
• 28:28
  thing.
• 28:30
  So
• 28:31
  now
• 28:31
  I'm
• 28:31
  like,
• 28:31
  put
• 28:32
  that
• 28:32
  away.
• 28:33
  Give
• 28:33
  me
• 28:33
  the,
• 28:34
  give
• 28:34
  me
• 28:34
  the
• 28:35
  bead.
• 28:35
  I'm.
• 28:36
  I'm
• 28:36
  gonna
• 28:36
  try
• 28:36
  to
• 28:36
  get
• 28:36
  something
• 28:37
  done.
• 28:38
  And
• 28:38
  we
• 28:38
  caught
• 28:39
  quite
• 28:39
  a
• 28:39
  few
• 28:39
  smaller
• 28:39
  or
• 28:40
  medium
• 28:40
  sized
• 28:41
  rainbows.
• 28:42
  And
• 28:43
  about
• 28:44
  the
• 28:44
  fourth
• 28:44
  day,
• 28:44
  Derek
• 28:45
  had
• 28:45
  a
• 28:46
  37
• 28:47
  inch
• 28:48
  rainbow
• 28:49
  to
• 28:50
  the
• 28:50
  net.
• 28:51
  And
• 28:53
  I'm
• 28:54
  not
• 28:54
  Derek,
• 28:55
  not
• 28:55
  me,
• 28:55
  the
• 28:55
  other
• 28:55
  Derek.
• 28:56
  And
• 28:57
  I
• 28:57
  mean
• 28:58
  it
• 28:58
  was
• 28:58
  the
• 28:58
  biggest
• 28:58
  rainbow
• 28:59
  I've
• 28:59
  ever
• 28:59
  seen.
• 29:00
  And
• 29:01
  it
• 29:02
  just
• 29:03
  blew
• 29:03
  out
• 29:03
  of
• 29:03
  the
• 29:03
  net
• 29:04
  and
• 29:05
  snapped
• 29:05
  the
• 29:05
  line
• 29:06
  and
• 29:06
  we
• 29:06
  were
• 29:06
  all
• 29:07
  like
• 29:07
  bump,
• 29:08
  you
• 29:08
  know,
• 29:09
  unconsolable.
• 29:11
  And
• 29:12
  like
• 29:13
  two
• 29:13
  drifts
• 29:13
  later,
• 29:15
  as
• 29:16
  luck
• 29:16
  would
• 29:16
  have
• 29:16
  it,
• 29:16
  I
• 29:17
  hooked
• 29:17
  a
• 29:17
  big
• 29:17
  one,
• 29:18
  got
• 29:18
  it
• 29:18
  up
• 29:18
  and
• 29:18
  it
• 29:18
  was
• 29:19
  32
• 29:19
  inches.
• 29:21
  Nowhere
• 29:21
  near
• 29:21
  as
• 29:21
  big
• 29:22
  as
• 29:22
  his,
• 29:22
  but
• 29:22
  still
• 29:23
  my
• 29:23
  biggest.
• 29:24
  And
• 29:24
  so
• 29:24
  I,
• 29:25
  I
• 29:25
  got
• 29:26
  that
• 29:26
  goal.
• 29:27
  So
• 29:27
  that
• 29:27
  was
• 29:27
  Exciting.
• 29:29
  Neat.
• 29:29
  And
• 29:29
  I
• 29:29
  know
• 29:30
  you're
• 29:30
  partial
• 29:30
  to
• 29:30
  the
• 29:30
  salt
• 29:31
  as
• 29:31
  well.
• 29:31
  Any
• 29:31
  saltwater
• 29:32
  adventures?
• 29:34
  Well,
• 29:35
  this
• 29:35
  will
• 29:35
  be
• 29:36
  my
• 29:36
  first
• 29:37
  year
• 29:37
  in
• 29:38
  12
• 29:38
  years
• 29:39
  that
• 29:39
  I'm
• 29:39
  not
• 29:40
  going
• 29:40
  down
• 29:40
  to
• 29:40
  the
• 29:40
  Keys
• 29:41
  for
• 29:42
  we
• 29:42
  usually
• 29:42
  go
• 29:43
  for
• 29:43
  five
• 29:43
  months
• 29:44
  and
• 29:45
  sold
• 29:46
  by
• 29:46
  saltwater
• 29:47
  flats
• 29:48
  boat.
• 29:49
  After
• 29:49
  all,
• 29:50
  all
• 29:50
  that
• 29:50
  time
• 29:50
  using
• 29:51
  a
• 29:51
  1999
• 29:53
  Hughes
• 29:53
  Red
• 29:54
  Fisher.
• 29:54
  I
• 29:55
  had
• 29:56
  a
• 29:56
  custom
• 29:58
  carbon
• 29:59
  fiber
• 29:59
  Kevlar
• 30:01
  polling
• 30:01
  skiff
• 30:02
  made
• 30:02
  and
• 30:03
  I,
• 30:03
  you
• 30:03
  know,
• 30:04
  I
• 30:04
  just,
• 30:04
  I
• 30:05
  didn't
• 30:05
  have
• 30:05
  the
• 30:05
  whole
• 30:06
  move
• 30:06
  to
• 30:06
  Montana
• 30:07
  and
• 30:07
  galleried
• 30:09
  thing
• 30:09
  totally
• 30:09
  in
• 30:09
  mind.
• 30:11
  And
• 30:11
  about
• 30:12
  the
• 30:12
  time
• 30:12
  I
• 30:13
  took
• 30:13
  possession
• 30:14
  of
• 30:14
  it,
• 30:15
  this
• 30:15
  whole
• 30:15
  thing
• 30:16
  started.
• 30:16
  And
• 30:17
  so
• 30:17
  I
• 30:18
  sold
• 30:18
  it
• 30:18
  about
• 30:19
  a
• 30:19
  year
• 30:19
  and
• 30:19
  a
• 30:19
  half
• 30:20
  into
• 30:21
  owning
• 30:21
  it.
• 30:21
  And
• 30:22
  so
• 30:22
  we're
• 30:22
  not
• 30:23
  going
• 30:23
  to
• 30:23
  be
• 30:23
  down
• 30:23
  in
• 30:23
  the
• 30:24
  Keys
• 30:24
  and
• 30:25
  we're
• 30:25
  going
• 30:25
  to
• 30:25
  take
• 30:25
  a
• 30:25
  little
• 30:26
  time
• 30:26
  off
• 30:26
  of
• 30:27
  the
• 30:28
  saltwater
• 30:28
  thing,
• 30:29
  but
• 30:31
  my
• 30:31
  next
• 30:32
  trip
• 30:32
  is
• 30:32
  down
• 30:33
  to
• 30:34
  Patagonia.
• 30:35
  So
• 30:36
  we
• 30:37
  did
• 30:37
  that
• 30:37
  last
• 30:37
  winter
• 30:38
  and
• 30:39
  absolutely
• 30:40
  loved
• 30:40
  it.
• 30:41
  And
• 30:42
  so
• 30:42
  we're
• 30:42
  going
• 30:42
  to
• 30:43
  go
• 30:43
  back
• 30:43
  this
• 30:43
  winter
• 30:44
  for
• 30:44
  almost
• 30:45
  a
• 30:45
  month.
• 30:45
  Yeah,
• 30:46
  it's
• 30:46
  a
• 30:46
  very,
• 30:46
  very
• 30:47
  neat
• 30:47
  place.
• 30:47
  It's
• 30:47
  been
• 30:47
  a
• 30:48
  while
• 30:48
  since
• 30:48
  I've
• 30:48
  been.
• 30:48
  But
• 30:50
  yeah,
• 30:50
  it's.
• 30:50
  It's
• 30:51
  kind
• 30:51
  of
• 30:51
  like,
• 30:51
  you
• 30:51
  know,
• 30:51
  you
• 30:51
  literally
• 30:52
  just
• 30:52
  kind
• 30:52
  of
• 30:52
  turn
• 30:52
  the
• 30:52
  world
• 30:53
  upside
• 30:53
  down
• 30:53
  and
• 30:53
  it's
• 30:53
  like
• 30:54
  the
• 30:54
  same
• 30:54
  latitude
• 30:54
  as
• 30:55
  Montana
• 30:55
  and
• 30:56
  the
• 30:56
  people
• 30:56
  are
• 30:56
  great
• 30:57
  and
• 30:57
  the
• 30:57
  food
• 30:57
  is
• 30:57
  awesome,
• 30:58
  you
• 30:58
  know.
• 30:59
  Yep,
• 31:00
  you
• 31:00
  got
• 31:00
  it.
• 31:01
  You
• 31:01
  must
• 31:01
  have
• 31:01
  went
• 31:01
  to
• 31:02
  the
• 31:02
  same
• 31:02
  place
• 31:02
  I
• 31:02
  did
• 31:03
  because
• 31:03
  that's
• 31:03
  exactly
• 31:04
  how
• 31:04
  it
• 31:04
  was.
• 31:05
  And
• 31:06
  yeah,
• 31:06
  your,
• 31:06
  your
• 31:07
  fishing
• 31:07
  skills
• 31:08
  actually,
• 31:08
  you
• 31:09
  know,
• 31:10
  work
• 31:10
  there.
• 31:10
  Whereas
• 31:11
  when
• 31:11
  you
• 31:11
  go,
• 31:11
  you
• 31:12
  know,
• 31:12
  all
• 31:12
  my
• 31:12
  buddies
• 31:12
  from,
• 31:13
  you
• 31:14
  know,
• 31:14
  trouty
• 31:15
  areas
• 31:15
  come
• 31:15
  to
• 31:16
  the
• 31:16
  Keys
• 31:16
  and
• 31:17
  it
• 31:17
  doesn't
• 31:17
  really
• 31:18
  transfer
• 31:19
  that
• 31:19
  well
• 31:19
  to
• 31:19
  that
• 31:21
  environment.
• 31:22
  You
• 31:22
  know,
• 31:22
  the
• 31:22
  trout
• 31:22
  skills
• 31:23
  don't.
• 31:24
  But
• 31:25
  yeah,
• 31:25
  no,
• 31:26
  it's
• 31:26
  fun
• 31:26
  to
• 31:26
  go
• 31:26
  down
• 31:26
  and,
• 31:27
  and
• 31:27
  just,
• 31:28
  you
• 31:28
  know,
• 31:28
  it's,
• 31:29
  it's
• 31:29
  a
• 31:29
  lot
• 31:30
  easier
• 31:30
  fishing
• 31:30
  there.
• 31:31
  I'll,
• 31:31
  I'll
• 31:31
  be
• 31:31
  honest.
• 31:33
  You
• 31:33
  gotta
• 31:33
  work
• 31:34
  hard.
• 31:34
  But
• 31:34
  it's,
• 31:35
  you
• 31:35
  know,
• 31:36
  you'll.
• 31:36
  If
• 31:36
  you
• 31:37
  can,
• 31:37
  if
• 31:38
  you
• 31:38
  can
• 31:38
  fly
• 31:38
  fish
• 31:39
  for
• 31:39
  trout
• 31:39
  in
• 31:39
  the
• 31:39
  US
• 31:40
  you're
• 31:40
  going
• 31:40
  to
• 31:41
  do
• 31:41
  well
• 31:41
  there.
• 31:42
  Yeah,
• 31:42
  I
• 31:42
  think
• 31:43
  the
• 31:43
  biggest
• 31:43
  thing
• 31:43
  is
• 31:43
  being
• 31:44
  able
• 31:44
  to,
• 31:44
  you
• 31:44
  know,
• 31:45
  com.
• 31:45
  Be
• 31:45
  comfortable
• 31:46
  dealing
• 31:46
  with
• 31:46
  the
• 31:46
  wind
• 31:46
  because
• 31:47
  it's
• 31:47
  just
• 31:47
  as
• 31:47
  windy
• 31:48
  down
• 31:48
  there
• 31:48
  as
• 31:48
  it
• 31:48
  is
• 31:48
  in
• 31:48
  Montana.
• 31:50
  Oh,
• 31:50
  yeah,
• 31:51
  maybe
• 31:51
  more
• 31:51
  so.
• 31:53
  But
• 31:53
  it
• 31:53
  can
• 31:54
  be
• 31:54
  really
• 31:54
  windy
• 31:54
  in
• 31:54
  the
• 31:55
  Keys
• 31:55
  too.
• 31:55
  So
• 31:55
  you
• 31:56
  do
• 31:56
  get
• 31:56
  used
• 31:56
  to,
• 31:57
  you
• 31:57
  know,
• 31:58
  clicking
• 31:59
  over,
• 32:00
  you
• 32:00
  know,
• 32:00
  almost
• 32:00
  down
• 32:00
  to
• 32:01
  the
• 32:01
  shore
• 32:01
  and
• 32:02
  really
• 32:02
  ripping
• 32:02
  a
• 32:02
  cast
• 32:03
  and
• 32:03
  knowing
• 32:04
  it's
• 32:04
  going
• 32:04
  to
• 32:04
  land
• 32:05
  12ft
• 32:05
  into
• 32:05
  the
• 32:05
  river.
• 32:07
  Yeah,
• 32:07
  it's
• 32:08
  interesting.
• 32:08
  I
• 32:08
  haven't
• 32:09
  done
• 32:09
  a
• 32:09
  ton
• 32:09
  of
• 32:09
  saltwater
• 32:10
  fishing.
• 32:10
  I
• 32:10
  think
• 32:11
  the
• 32:12
  last.
• 32:12
  Gosh,
• 32:12
  it's
• 32:13
  been
• 32:14
  probably
• 32:16
  so
• 32:16
  let's
• 32:16
  see,
• 32:16
  my
• 32:17
  youngest
• 32:17
  son
• 32:17
  is
• 32:18
  16.
• 32:18
  It
• 32:19
  was
• 32:19
  before
• 32:19
  he
• 32:19
  was
• 32:19
  born
• 32:20
  and
• 32:20
  we
• 32:20
  were
• 32:20
  down
• 32:20
  in
• 32:20
  Andrews
• 32:21
  fishing
• 32:21
  for
• 32:21
  bonefish.
• 32:22
  It's
• 32:22
  just.
• 32:23
  Well,
• 32:23
  that's
• 32:24
  actually
• 32:24
  not
• 32:24
  true.
• 32:24
  I've
• 32:24
  done
• 32:24
  some
• 32:25
  redfishing
• 32:25
  trips.
• 32:27
  I
• 32:28
  love
• 32:29
  bonefish.
• 32:30
  I
• 32:30
  mean,
• 32:31
  you
• 32:32
  don't
• 32:32
  have
• 32:32
  to
• 32:33
  get
• 32:33
  a
• 32:33
  more
• 32:33
  prestigious,
• 32:34
  you
• 32:34
  know,
• 32:35
  permit
• 32:35
  or
• 32:36
  tarpon.
• 32:36
  Bonefish
• 32:37
  are
• 32:37
  so
• 32:37
  much
• 32:38
  fun
• 32:38
  because
• 32:39
  if
• 32:39
  you
• 32:39
  go
• 32:39
  to
• 32:40
  the
• 32:40
  right
• 32:40
  place,
• 32:40
  it's
• 32:40
  a
• 32:41
  target
• 32:41
  rich
• 32:42
  environment
• 32:43
  and
• 32:44
  you
• 32:44
  know,
• 32:44
  you
• 32:45
  get
• 32:45
  to
• 32:45
  actually
• 32:46
  get
• 32:46
  pretty
• 32:46
  good
• 32:46
  at

  it.
• 32:48
  Yeah,
• 32:49
  it's
• 32:49
  a.
• 32:49
  Yeah,
• 32:49
  it's
• 32:49
  a
• 32:50
  totally
• 32:50
  different
• 32:50
  game,
• 32:51
  you
• 32:51
  know,
• 32:51
  and
• 32:51
  it's
• 32:51
  kind
• 32:51
  of
• 32:51
  interesting
• 32:52
  too
• 32:52
  because,
• 32:52
  because
• 32:53
  I
• 32:53
  didn't,
• 32:53
  you
• 32:54
  know,
• 32:54
  I
• 32:54
  learned
• 32:55
  about
• 32:55
  kind
• 32:55
  of
• 32:55
  the
• 32:55
  move
• 32:56
  from
• 32:56
  Michigan
• 32:57
  back
• 32:57
  to
• 32:57
  Montana,
• 32:57
  I
• 32:58
  guess
• 32:58
  Montana
• 32:58
  2.0
• 32:59
  just
• 32:59
  by
• 33:00
  watching
• 33:00
  your
• 33:00
  Instagram
• 33:00
  feed.
• 33:01
  But
• 33:01
  you
• 33:01
  know,
• 33:01
  tell
• 33:01
  us
• 33:02
  a
• 33:02
  little
• 33:02
  bit
• 33:02
  about
• 33:02
  kind
• 33:02
  of,
• 33:03
  you
• 33:03
  know,
• 33:03
  how
• 33:03
  that
• 33:03
  all
• 33:04
  came
• 33:04
  about
• 33:04
  to,
• 33:04
  you
• 33:04
  know,
• 33:05
  leave
• 33:05
  where
• 33:05
  you
• 33:05
  grew
• 33:05
  up
• 33:06
  and
• 33:06
  to
• 33:06
  go
• 33:07
  back
• 33:07
  to
• 33:07
  Montana
• 33:08
  and
• 33:08
  open
• 33:08
  a
• 33:08
  gallery.
• 33:10
  You
• 33:11
  know,
• 33:13
  we
• 33:13
  moved
• 33:13
  in
• 33:14
  2015
• 33:15
  from
• 33:16
  Montana
• 33:17
  back
• 33:17
  to
• 33:17
  Michigan
• 33:18
  and
• 33:18
  we
• 33:18
  bought
• 33:19
  a
• 33:19
  little
• 33:19
  cabin
• 33:20
  right
• 33:20
  on
• 33:20
  Lake
• 33:21
  Michigan.
• 33:22
  And
• 33:22
  we
• 33:22
  got
• 33:22
  just
• 33:23
  totally
• 33:23
  focused
• 33:24
  on
• 33:24
  that
• 33:24
  and
• 33:24
  learning
• 33:25
  all
• 33:25
  the
• 33:25
  fishing
• 33:25
  around
• 33:26
  there.
• 33:26
  The
• 33:26
  fishing
• 33:26
  was
• 33:27
  great,
• 33:27
  by
• 33:27
  the
• 33:28
  way.
• 33:28
  Everybody
• 33:29
  just
• 33:30
  assumes
• 33:30
  that
• 33:30
  it
• 33:31
  was
• 33:31
  a
• 33:31
  huge
• 33:32
  downgrade
• 33:32
  in
• 33:33
  fishing.
• 33:33
  It
• 33:33
  wasn't.
• 33:37
  We
• 33:37
  had
• 33:37
  world
• 33:38
  class
• 33:38
  smallmouth
• 33:39
  and
• 33:41
  carpet
• 33:43
  lake
• 33:43
  trout.
• 33:44
  I
• 33:44
  mean,
• 33:44
  there
• 33:44
  was
• 33:45
  so
• 33:45
  much
• 33:45
  to
• 33:45
  get
• 33:45
  into
• 33:46
  in
• 33:46
  Michigan,
• 33:47
  but
• 33:47
  right
• 33:47
  on
• 33:47
  the
• 33:48
  shore,
• 33:48
  right
• 33:48
  in
• 33:48
  front
• 33:48
  of
• 33:48
  my
• 33:49
  house.
• 33:50
  And
• 33:51
  as
• 33:51
  years
• 33:52
  went
• 33:52
  by,
• 33:53
  it
• 33:53
  did
• 33:53
  get
• 33:54
  discovered
• 33:54
  and
• 33:56
  you
• 33:56
  know,
• 33:56
  became
• 33:57
  more
• 33:57
  busy.
• 33:59
  But
• 34:00
  I
• 34:01
  mean,
• 34:01
  for,
• 34:01
  for
• 34:02
  the
• 34:02
  first
• 34:02
  like
• 34:02
  six
• 34:03
  years,
• 34:03
  there
• 34:03
  was
• 34:04
  no
• 34:04
  one
• 34:04
  there
• 34:04
  ever.
• 34:05
  And
• 34:05
  I
• 34:05
  mean,
• 34:06
  we
• 34:06
  caught
• 34:06
  fish
• 34:07
  up
• 34:07
  to
• 34:08
  six
• 34:08
  and
• 34:08
  a
• 34:08
  half
• 34:09
  pound
• 34:09
  smallmouth
• 34:11
  han
• 34:11
  fly
• 34:12
  right
• 34:12
  out
• 34:12
  in
• 34:12
  front
• 34:12
  of
• 34:12
  the
• 34:13
  house.
• 34:13
  I
• 34:13
  mean,
• 34:13
  there's
• 34:13
  not
• 34:14
  that
• 34:14
  many
• 34:14
  places
• 34:14
  you
• 34:15
  can
• 34:15
  do
• 34:15
  that.
• 34:16
  And
• 34:16
  I
• 34:17
  was
• 34:17
  really
• 34:17
  lucky
• 34:17
  that
• 34:17
  I
• 34:18
  bought
• 34:18
  that
• 34:18
  cat.
• 34:18
  I
• 34:19
  had
• 34:19
  no
• 34:19
  idea
• 34:19
  if
• 34:20
  the
• 34:20
  fishing
• 34:20
  was
• 34:20
  good
• 34:21
  in
• 34:21
  front
• 34:21
  of
• 34:21
  that
• 34:22
  cabin
• 34:22
  or
• 34:22
  not.
• 34:23
  I
• 34:23
  just
• 34:24
  got
• 34:24
  super
• 34:25
  lucky.
• 34:27
  But
• 34:27
  about
• 34:28
  three
• 34:29
  years
• 34:29
  after
• 34:30
  we
• 34:30
  moved
• 34:30
  over
• 34:30
  there,
• 34:31
  I
• 34:31
  hadn't
• 34:32
  gone
• 34:32
  back
• 34:32
  to
• 34:32
  Montana
• 34:33
  and
• 34:33
  I
• 34:33
  just
• 34:34
  all
• 34:34
  of
• 34:34
  a
• 34:34
  sudden
• 34:34
  felt
• 34:35
  like
• 34:37
  really
• 34:37
  depressed
• 34:38
  about
• 34:38
  that.
• 34:39
  And
• 34:39
  my
• 34:39
  wife's
• 34:40
  like,
• 34:40
  well,
• 34:40
  no
• 34:40
  problem.
• 34:41
  Let's
• 34:41
  go
• 34:41
  back
• 34:41
  for
• 34:42
  a
• 34:42
  month
• 34:42
  in
• 34:42
  the
• 34:42
  fall.
• 34:43
  That
• 34:43
  was
• 34:43
  a
• 34:44
  time
• 34:44
  period
• 34:44
  that
• 34:44
  we
• 34:44
  had
• 34:44
  a
• 34:45
  little
• 34:45
  bit
• 34:45
  of
• 34:46
  leeway
• 34:46
  on
• 34:47
  our
• 34:47
  schedule.
• 34:48
  So
• 34:49
  we
• 34:49
  started
• 34:50
  coming
• 34:50
  back
• 34:50
  to
• 34:50
  Livingston
• 34:51
  and
• 34:51
  just
• 34:51
  renting
• 34:52
  a
• 34:53
  fur
• 34:53
  bow
• 34:54
  and
• 34:55
  fishing
• 34:56
  and
• 34:57
  hanging
• 34:57
  out
• 34:57
  for
• 34:58
  a
• 34:58
  month.
• 34:59
  Maybe
• 34:59
  I
• 34:59
  do
• 34:59
  one
• 34:59
  or
• 35:00
  two
• 35:00
  paintings,
• 35:00
  but
• 35:00
  mostly
• 35:01
  I'd
• 35:01
  just
• 35:01
  be
• 35:01
  on
• 35:01
  the
• 35:01
  river
• 35:02
  every
• 35:02
  day,
• 35:03
  which
• 35:04
  was
• 35:04
  awesome.
• 35:06
  And
• 35:08
  just
• 35:09
  over
• 35:10
  we
• 35:10
  did
• 35:10
  that
• 35:11
  for,
• 35:12
  I
• 35:12
  don't
• 35:13
  know,
• 35:13
  six
• 35:13
  years.
• 35:14
  And
• 35:15
  I
• 35:15
  every
• 35:16
  Time
• 35:16
  I
• 35:16
  came
• 35:17
  back
• 35:17
  to
• 35:17
  Montana,
• 35:17
  I
• 35:18
  just
• 35:18
  started
• 35:18
  to
• 35:19
  make
• 35:19
  a
• 35:19
  plan
• 35:20
  on
• 35:20
  how
• 35:20
  to
• 35:20
  get
• 35:20
  back
• 35:21
  here
• 35:21
  as
• 35:21
  my
• 35:21
  permanent
• 35:22
  location.
• 35:23
  And
• 35:23
  that's
• 35:24
  nothing
• 35:24
  against
• 35:25
  Michigan.
• 35:25
  It's
• 35:25
  just.
• 35:26
  I
• 35:26
  love
• 35:27
  being
• 35:27
  in
• 35:27
  the
• 35:27
  mountains.
• 35:28
  It
• 35:29
  just
• 35:29
  speaks
• 35:29
  to
• 35:29
  my
• 35:30
  soul.
• 35:31
  And
• 35:32
  I
• 35:33
  love
• 35:33
  being
• 35:33
  on
• 35:33
  the
• 35:33
  lake,
• 35:34
  but
• 35:34
  it's
• 35:34
  just
• 35:34
  not
• 35:35
  quite.
• 35:35
  I'm
• 35:35
  just
• 35:36
  not
• 35:36
  that
• 35:36
  guy.
• 35:37
  And
• 35:39
  so
• 35:40
  we
• 35:40
  had
• 35:41
  been
• 35:41
  running
• 35:41
  a
• 35:42
  verbo
• 35:43
  right
• 35:43
  on
• 35:44
  Main
• 35:44
  street
• 35:44
  in
• 35:44
  Livingston,
• 35:45
  and
• 35:46
  we
• 35:46
  both
• 35:46
  really
• 35:47
  liked
• 35:47
  it.
• 35:48
  And
• 35:49
  we
• 35:49
  started
• 35:50
  looking
• 35:50
  at
• 35:51
  real
• 35:52
  estate
• 35:52
  right
• 35:53
  on
• 35:53
  Main
• 35:53
  street
• 35:54
  and
• 35:54
  started
• 35:55
  kind
• 35:55
  of
• 35:55
  visualizing
• 35:55
  what
• 35:56
  would
• 35:56
  it
• 35:57
  be
• 35:57
  like
• 35:57
  to
• 35:58
  buy
• 35:59
  a
• 35:59
  building
• 35:59
  and
• 36:00
  start
• 36:00
  a
• 36:01
  gallery.
• 36:02
  And
• 36:02
  so,
• 36:03
  you
• 36:03
  know,
• 36:04
  started.
• 36:05
  Started
• 36:05
  there
• 36:06
  and.
• 36:08
  And
• 36:08
  then
• 36:09
  we
• 36:09
  started
• 36:09
  actually
• 36:10
  looking
• 36:10
  and
• 36:10
  found
• 36:11
  a
• 36:11
  place
• 36:11
  that
• 36:11
  might
• 36:11
  work
• 36:12
  and
• 36:13
  so
• 36:14
  just
• 36:14
  kind
• 36:14
  of
• 36:14
  fell
• 36:14
  into
• 36:15
  place.
• 36:16
  Very,
• 36:17
  very
• 36:17
  neat.
• 36:17
  Tell
• 36:17
  us
• 36:18
  a
• 36:18
  little
• 36:18
  bit
• 36:18
  about
• 36:18
  just
• 36:19
  kind
• 36:19
  of
• 36:19
  the.
• 36:19
  The
• 36:20
  layout
• 36:20
  of
• 36:20
  the
• 36:20
  space.
• 36:23
  Well,
• 36:23
  it
• 36:23
  was
• 36:24
  the
• 36:25
  old
• 36:26
  pawn
• 36:26
  shop
• 36:27
  and
• 36:29
  it
• 36:29
  was
• 36:30
  in
• 36:31
  need
• 36:31
  of
• 36:31
  a
• 36:31
  lot
• 36:31
  of
• 36:32
  work,
• 36:34
  and
• 36:34
  it
• 36:34
  was
• 36:34
  not
• 36:35
  like
• 36:35
  a
• 36:35
  bargain.
• 36:38
  You
• 36:38
  know,
• 36:38
  it's
• 36:39
  just
• 36:39
  the
• 36:39
  market
• 36:39
  these
• 36:40
  days.
• 36:40
  It's
• 36:41
  like,
• 36:41
  okay,
• 36:41
  this
• 36:42
  is
• 36:42
  a
• 36:42
  really
• 36:42
  awful
• 36:43
  building.
• 36:43
  It's
• 36:43
  going
• 36:43
  to
• 36:43
  take
• 36:44
  a
• 36:44
  ton
• 36:44
  of
• 36:44
  work
• 36:45
  to
• 36:47
  get
• 36:47
  it
• 36:47
  up
• 36:48
  to,
• 36:48
  you
• 36:48
  know,
• 36:48
  what
• 36:49
  we
• 36:49
  need
• 36:50
  and
• 36:51
  should
• 36:51
  be
• 36:51
  a
• 36:51
  biogen,
• 36:52
  but
• 36:52
  wasn't.
• 36:53
  And
• 36:54
  we,
• 36:54
  we
• 36:55
  made
• 36:55
  a
• 36:55
  few
• 36:56
  offers
• 36:56
  at
• 36:56
  it
• 36:56
  that
• 36:57
  reflected
• 36:57
  where
• 36:58
  we
• 36:58
  thought
• 36:58
  it
• 36:58
  was
• 36:58
  worth,
• 36:59
  and
• 36:59
  the
• 36:59
  guy
• 36:59
  told
• 37:00
  us
• 37:00
  to
• 37:00
  get
• 37:00
  lost.
• 37:02
  And
• 37:03
  it
• 37:03
  was
• 37:04
  probably,
• 37:05
  I
• 37:05
  don't
• 37:05
  know,
• 37:05
  four
• 37:05
  months
• 37:06
  later
• 37:06
  before
• 37:06
  we
• 37:07
  actually
• 37:07
  made
• 37:08
  another
• 37:08
  offer
• 37:08
  and
• 37:10
  made
• 37:10
  a
• 37:10
  deal.
• 37:12
  And
• 37:13
  from
• 37:13
  maybe
• 37:14
  the
• 37:14
  next
• 37:14
  week
• 37:15
  on,
• 37:15
  which
• 37:15
  was
• 37:16
  this
• 37:16
  was
• 37:16
  all
• 37:17
  like
• 37:17
  real
• 37:17
  early
• 37:19
  2024,
• 37:22
  I
• 37:22
  think.
• 37:22
  Yeah,
• 37:23
  yeah,
• 37:23
  like
• 37:24
  January,
• 37:25
  February
• 37:26
  maybe.
• 37:27
  And
• 37:29
  they
• 37:29
  started
• 37:31
  just
• 37:31
  ripping
• 37:31
  stuff
• 37:32
  out
• 37:32
  of
• 37:32
  it,
• 37:32
  like
• 37:32
  the
• 37:32
  next
• 37:33
  day
• 37:33
  after
• 37:33
  we
• 37:34
  closed
• 37:35
  on
• 37:35
  it.
• 37:36
  So,
• 37:37
  I
• 37:37
  mean,
• 37:37
  it
• 37:37
  was
• 37:38
  all
• 37:39
  year
• 37:40
  to,
• 37:41
  you
• 37:41
  know,
• 37:42
  totally
• 37:42
  tear
• 37:42
  it
• 37:43
  down
• 37:43
  and
• 37:43
  rebuild
• 37:43
  it,
• 37:44
  but
• 37:44
  it
• 37:44
  looks
• 37:46
  absolutely
• 37:47
  amazing
• 37:47
  now.
• 37:48
  It's
• 37:48
  just
• 37:49
  got
• 37:49
  just
• 37:49
  enough
• 37:50
  of
• 37:50
  the
• 37:50
  original
• 37:51
  1890s
• 37:52
  building
• 37:52
  left,
• 37:53
  but
• 37:53
  everything
• 37:53
  else
• 37:54
  is
• 37:54
  new
• 37:55
  and
• 37:55
  just
• 37:55
  really
• 37:56
  complimentary
• 37:57
  to
• 37:57
  the
• 37:57
  old
• 37:58
  school
• 37:58
  look
• 37:58
  of
• 37:58
  it.
• 37:59
  And
• 38:00
  yeah,
• 38:01
  I'm
• 38:01
  stoked.
• 38:01
  I
• 38:02
  never
• 38:02
  would
• 38:02
  have
• 38:02
  pictured
• 38:03
  that
• 38:03
  it
• 38:03
  would
• 38:03
  turn
• 38:03
  out
• 38:03
  this
• 38:04
  good.
• 38:05
  Interesting.
• 38:05
  And
• 38:05
  so
• 38:06
  is
• 38:06
  it
• 38:06
  gallery
• 38:07
  and
• 38:07
  studio
• 38:08
  space
• 38:08
  or
• 38:08
  is
• 38:08
  your
• 38:08
  studio
• 38:09
  somewhere
• 38:09
  else?
• 38:11
  I've
• 38:11
  got
• 38:12
  a
• 38:12
  studio
• 38:12
  at
• 38:13
  home,
• 38:13
  too,
• 38:13
  but
• 38:14
  my
• 38:14
  main
• 38:14
  studio
• 38:15
  is
• 38:15
  in
• 38:15
  the
• 38:15
  back
• 38:15
  of
• 38:15
  the
• 38:16
  gallery.
• 38:16
  It's
• 38:16
  not
• 38:17
  like
• 38:17
  in
• 38:17
  the
• 38:17
  gallery
• 38:18
  space
• 38:18
  itself.
• 38:19
  Got
• 38:20
  it.
• 38:20
  And
• 38:20
  I
• 38:21
  would
• 38:21
  imagine
• 38:21
  you
• 38:21
  probably
• 38:22
  did.
• 38:22
  You
• 38:22
  have
• 38:22
  to
• 38:22
  modify
• 38:22
  the
• 38:23
  space
• 38:23
  to
• 38:23
  get
• 38:23
  it.
• 38:23
  Get
• 38:24
  the
• 38:24
  light
• 38:24
  that
• 38:24
  you
• 38:24
  wanted
• 38:25
  in
• 38:25
  there.
• 38:27
  Well,
• 38:29
  we
• 38:29
  rebuilt
• 38:29
  the
• 38:30
  whole
• 38:30
  front
• 38:30
  of
• 38:30
  the
• 38:30
  building
• 38:31
  to
• 38:31
  be
• 38:32
  just
• 38:32
  more
• 38:32
  welcoming
• 38:33
  and
• 38:33
  better
• 38:34
  for
• 38:34
  a
• 38:34
  gallery.
• 38:35
  And
• 38:36
  then,
• 38:37
  yeah,
• 38:38
  track
• 38:38
  lighting
• 38:39
  everywhere.
• 38:42
  It's
• 38:42
  amazing
• 38:43
  how
• 38:43
  bright
• 38:44
  it
• 38:44
  looks
• 38:44
  when
• 38:44
  you
• 38:44
  put
• 38:44
  track
• 38:45
  lighting
• 38:45
  everywhere.
• 38:46
  Yeah.
• 38:47
  And
• 38:47
  I'm
• 38:47
  trying
• 38:48
  to
• 38:48
  remember,
• 38:48
  have
• 38:48
  you
• 38:49
  had
• 38:49
  a
• 38:49
  gallery
• 38:50
  like
• 38:50
  this
• 38:50
  before,
• 38:51
  or
• 38:51
  is
• 38:51
  this
• 38:51
  kind
• 38:51
  of
• 38:51
  the
• 38:52
  first
• 38:52
  kind
• 38:52
  of
• 38:52
  iteration
• 38:53
  of
• 38:54
  your
• 38:54
  gallery
• 38:55
  life?
• 38:57
  I
• 38:58
  kind
• 38:59
  of
• 38:59
  accidentally
• 39:00
  put
• 39:00
  a
• 39:01
  gallery
• 39:01
  into
• 39:01
  my
• 39:01
  house
• 39:02
  when
• 39:02
  we
• 39:02
  lived
• 39:02
  in
• 39:03
  Montana.
• 39:04
  It
• 39:04
  was
• 39:06
  Maybe.
• 39:08
  Maybe
• 39:09
  about
• 39:09
  2,000
• 39:10
  square
• 39:10
  foot
• 39:10
  new
• 39:11
  house
• 39:11
  with
• 39:11
  an
• 39:11
  unfinished
• 39:12
  basement.
• 39:13
  And
• 39:13
  I
• 39:13
  put
• 39:13
  my
• 39:14
  studio
• 39:15
  down
• 39:15
  there,
• 39:17
  and
• 39:18
  people
• 39:19
  started
• 39:19
  calling
• 39:20
  and
• 39:20
  wanting
• 39:20
  to
• 39:20
  come
• 39:21
  see
• 39:21
  what
• 39:22
  work
• 39:22
  I
• 39:22
  had
• 39:22
  available.
• 39:23
  So
• 39:23
  I
• 39:23
  put,
• 39:23
  like,
• 39:23
  one
• 39:24
  wall,
• 39:24
  and
• 39:24
  all
• 39:25
  I
• 39:25
  did
• 39:25
  was,
• 39:25
  like,
• 39:26
  put
• 39:27
  some
• 39:27
  gray
• 39:27
  carpet
• 39:27
  up
• 39:28
  and
• 39:28
  put
• 39:28
  a
• 39:29
  one
• 39:29
  track
• 39:29
  light,
• 39:31
  and
• 39:33
  people
• 39:34
  would
• 39:34
  buy
• 39:34
  artwork
• 39:35
  off.
• 39:35
  I
• 39:35
  honestly
• 39:36
  had
• 39:36
  no
• 39:37
  face
• 39:37
  at
• 39:37
  that
• 39:38
  would,
• 39:38
  you
• 39:39
  know,
• 39:39
  sell
• 39:39
  art
• 39:40
  and.
• 39:41
  But
• 39:41
  people
• 39:41
  started
• 39:42
  buying
• 39:42
  artwork
• 39:42
  off
• 39:42
  it.
• 39:43
  And
• 39:43
  the
• 39:43
  next
• 39:44
  thing
• 39:44
  you
• 39:44
  know,
• 39:44
  my
• 39:44
  wife
• 39:45
  has
• 39:47
  a
• 39:47
  guy
• 39:47
  coming
• 39:48
  out
• 39:48
  to
• 39:48
  put
• 39:48
  wood
• 39:49
  floors
• 39:49
  in
• 39:50
  and
• 39:50
  drywall
• 39:51
  and
• 39:51
  electric
• 39:52
  lighting.
• 39:52
  And
• 39:53
  I'm
• 39:53
  like,
• 39:53
  whoa,
• 39:54
  this
• 39:54
  is
• 39:54
  really
• 39:54
  happening.
• 39:54
  We
• 39:55
  were
• 39:55
  really,
• 39:55
  like,
• 39:56
  going
• 39:57
  to
• 39:57
  town
• 39:58
  putting
• 39:58
  this
• 39:58
  gallery
• 39:59
  in.
• 40:00
  It
• 40:00
  started
• 40:01
  as,
• 40:01
  like,
• 40:01
  just
• 40:02
  one
• 40:03
  room,
• 40:04
  and
• 40:05
  by
• 40:05
  the
• 40:05
  time
• 40:06
  we
• 40:06
  sold
• 40:06
  the
• 40:06
  house,
• 40:07
  I
• 40:07
  wonder
• 40:07
  what
• 40:07
  the
• 40:08
  new
• 40:08
  owner
• 40:08
  has
• 40:08
  done
• 40:09
  with
• 40:09
  it.
• 40:09
  Because
• 40:10
  the
• 40:10
  whole
• 40:11
  basement
• 40:11
  was
• 40:11
  a
• 40:11
  gallery.
• 40:12
  So
• 40:14
  it
• 40:14
  was
• 40:14
  not
• 40:14
  just,
• 40:15
  like,
• 40:15
  open
• 40:15
  to
• 40:15
  the
• 40:16
  public.
• 40:16
  You
• 40:16
  had
• 40:16
  to
• 40:16
  call
• 40:17
  and
• 40:17
  make
• 40:17
  an
• 40:17
  appointment.
• 40:18
  But
• 40:18
  a
• 40:18
  lot
• 40:19
  of
• 40:19
  times
• 40:19
  guys
• 40:19
  would
• 40:19
  come
• 40:20
  in
• 40:20
  in
• 40:20
  groups,
• 40:21
  and
• 40:22
  they
• 40:22
  would
• 40:22
  just
• 40:22
  make
• 40:22
  an
• 40:22
  appointment
• 40:23
  when
• 40:23
  they
• 40:23
  came
• 40:24
  into
• 40:24
  Livingston
• 40:25
  to,
• 40:26
  you
• 40:26
  know,
• 40:27
  go
• 40:27
  out
• 40:28
  to
• 40:28
  dinner,
• 40:28
  go
• 40:28
  to
• 40:28
  the
• 40:29
  bar.
• 40:29
  They'd
• 40:30
  start
• 40:31
  off
• 40:31
  at
• 40:31
  my
• 40:31
  gallery
• 40:32
  for
• 40:32
  a
• 40:32
  couple
• 40:32
  hours
• 40:33
  because,
• 40:34
  lo
• 40:34
  and
• 40:34
  behold,
• 40:34
  I
• 40:34
  had
• 40:35
  a
• 40:35
  bar
• 40:35
  in
• 40:35
  the
• 40:35
  gallery.
• 40:37
  And
• 40:39
  anyway,
• 40:40
  we
• 40:40
  had
• 40:40
  some
• 40:40
  great
• 40:41
  times,
• 40:41
  and
• 40:42
  we
• 40:42
  moved
• 40:42
  some
• 40:43
  art
• 40:43
  from
• 40:43
  there
• 40:43
  and.
• 40:44
  But
• 40:45
  it
• 40:45
  was
• 40:45
  good
• 40:46
  for
• 40:46
  me
• 40:46
  as
• 40:47
  far
• 40:47
  as
• 40:47
  what
• 40:47
  I
• 40:47
  do
• 40:47
  now
• 40:48
  with
• 40:48
  this
• 40:48
  new
• 40:48
  gallery,
• 40:49
  because,
• 40:50
  you
• 40:51
  know,
• 40:51
  I
• 40:51
  learned
• 40:51
  about
• 40:52
  all
• 40:52
  the
• 40:52
  hanging
• 40:53
  systems
• 40:53
  and
• 40:54
  just
• 40:54
  the
• 40:54
  way
• 40:54
  the
• 40:54
  lights
• 40:55
  needed
• 40:55
  to
• 40:55
  be.
• 40:56
  And
• 40:57
  so
• 40:58
  that
• 40:59
  was
• 41:00
  a
• 41:00
  good
• 41:01
  education.
• 41:02
  Yeah.
• 41:02
  And
• 41:03
  so,
• 41:03
  you
• 41:03
  know,
• 41:03
  was
• 41:03
  there
• 41:03
  any,
• 41:04
  you
• 41:04
  know,
• 41:04
  what
• 41:04
  was
• 41:04
  like,
• 41:04
  the
• 41:05
  biggest
• 41:05
  challenge
• 41:06
  or
• 41:06
  surprise
• 41:07
  building
• 41:07
  out
• 41:07
  this
• 41:07
  new
• 41:07
  space?
• 41:11
  It
• 41:12
  was
• 41:12
  really
• 41:12
  hard
• 41:13
  just
• 41:13
  to
• 41:13
  be
• 41:13
  patient
• 41:14
  because
• 41:15
  it
• 41:15
  took
• 41:15
  till
• 41:16
  October
• 41:16
  1st.
• 41:19
  And
• 41:20
  just
• 41:20
  the
• 41:20
  way
• 41:20
  it
• 41:21
  worked,
• 41:21
  we
• 41:21
  were
• 41:21
  not
• 41:21
  allowed
• 41:22
  to
• 41:22
  even,
• 41:22
  like,
• 41:23
  you
• 41:23
  know,
• 41:24
  the
• 41:24
  general
• 41:25
  contractor
• 41:26
  called
• 41:26
  the
• 41:26
  key.
• 41:28
  So
• 41:28
  was
• 41:28
  that
• 41:29
  even,
• 41:29
  like,
• 41:29
  my
• 41:29
  property?
• 41:31
  And
• 41:31
  so
• 41:31
  we
• 41:32
  moved
• 41:32
  out
• 41:32
  here,
• 41:34
  sold
• 41:34
  a
• 41:34
  lot
• 41:35
  of
• 41:35
  stuff,
• 41:36
  gave
• 41:36
  a
• 41:36
  lot
• 41:36
  of
• 41:36
  stuff
• 41:36
  to
• 41:37
  family,
• 41:38
  really
• 41:39
  tried
• 41:39
  to
• 41:39
  whittle
• 41:39
  down
• 41:40
  our
• 41:40
  possessions,
• 41:41
  but
• 41:42
  rented
• 41:42
  a
• 41:42
  house
• 41:43
  in
• 41:43
  Bozeman.
• 41:44
  And,
• 41:45
  you
• 41:45
  know,
• 41:46
  we
• 41:46
  didn't
• 41:46
  have
• 41:46
  a
• 41:47
  place
• 41:47
  to
• 41:47
  live.
• 41:47
  Like,
• 41:48
  we
• 41:48
  didn't
• 41:48
  own
• 41:49
  a
• 41:49
  place
• 41:51
  we
• 41:51
  were
• 41:52
  going
• 41:52
  to.
• 41:53
  Probably
• 41:53
  the
• 41:53
  biggest
• 41:54
  challenge,
• 41:55
  now
• 41:55
  that
• 41:55
  I
• 41:55
  think
• 41:55
  of
• 41:56
  it,
• 41:56
  was
• 41:56
  that
• 41:56
  we
• 41:56
  were
• 41:57
  going
• 41:57
  to
• 41:57
  build
• 41:57
  off
• 41:58
  the
• 41:58
  back
• 41:58
  of
• 41:58
  the
• 41:58
  building.
• 41:59
  There's
• 42:00
  plenty
• 42:00
  of
• 42:00
  space
• 42:01
  behind
• 42:01
  this
• 42:01
  building
• 42:02
  that
• 42:02
  you
• 42:02
  could
• 42:02
  build.
• 42:04
  We
• 42:04
  had
• 42:05
  drawings,
• 42:06
  an
• 42:06
  architect
• 42:07
  Whole
• 42:08
  thing.
• 42:09
  And
• 42:09
  when
• 42:10
  push
• 42:10
  came
• 42:10
  to
• 42:10
  shove
• 42:11
  and
• 42:11
  they
• 42:11
  like
• 42:11
  submitted
• 42:12
  the
• 42:12
  drawings
• 42:12
  to
• 42:13
  the
• 42:13
  township,
• 42:16
  the
• 42:16
  quote
• 42:16
  went
• 42:16
  up
• 42:17
  by
• 42:17
  like
• 42:18
  80%.
• 42:20
  And
• 42:21
  we
• 42:21
  just
• 42:21
  didn't
• 42:21
  have
• 42:22
  the
• 42:22
  money
• 42:22
  to
• 42:23
  do
• 42:23
  it.
• 42:23
  And
• 42:23
  it
• 42:23
  was
• 42:24
  not
• 42:24
  a
• 42:24
  big
• 42:25
  house
• 42:25
  that
• 42:25
  we
• 42:25
  were
• 42:26
  going
• 42:26
  to
• 42:26
  build,
• 42:27
  but
• 42:27
  they
• 42:28
  needed
• 42:28
  to
• 42:28
  do
• 42:28
  like
• 42:29
  any
• 42:29
  new
• 42:30
  builds
• 42:30
  in
• 42:30
  the
• 42:30
  commercial
• 42:31
  district
• 42:31
  needed,
• 42:32
  you
• 42:32
  know,
• 42:33
  two
• 42:33
  hour
• 42:33
  firewalls,
• 42:34
  sprinkler
• 42:35
  systems,
• 42:35
  all
• 42:36
  these
• 42:36
  things
• 42:36
  that
• 42:37
  like
• 42:37
  really
• 42:38
  made
• 42:39
  it
• 42:39
  a
• 42:39
  lot
• 42:39
  more
• 42:39
  expensive.
• 42:41
  And
• 42:42
  so
• 42:42
  we
• 42:43
  kind
• 42:43
  of
• 42:43
  called
• 42:43
  that
• 42:43
  off.
• 42:45
  We
• 42:46
  looked
• 42:46
  at
• 42:46
  a
• 42:46
  few
• 42:46
  houses
• 42:47
  and
• 42:47
  we
• 42:48
  ended
• 42:48
  up
• 42:48
  buying
• 42:50
  a
• 42:50
  building
• 42:51
  that
• 42:51
  was
• 42:52
  four
• 42:52
  doors
• 42:53
  down
• 42:53
  from
• 42:53
  the
• 42:53
  gallery.
• 42:54
  So
• 42:56
  it
• 42:56
  was
• 42:57
  already
• 42:57
  retrofitted
• 42:58
  as
• 42:58
  a
• 42:58
  home
• 42:59
  and
• 43:00
  worked
• 43:00
  perfect
• 43:00
  for
• 43:01
  us.
• 43:01
  So
• 43:03
  it
• 43:03
  all
• 43:03
  worked
• 43:04
  out
• 43:04
  the
• 43:04
  way
• 43:04
  it
• 43:04
  was
• 43:04
  supposed
• 43:05
  to.
• 43:05
  But
• 43:06
  for
• 43:06
  a
• 43:06
  couple
• 43:06
  minutes
• 43:07
  there
• 43:07
  it
• 43:07
  was
• 43:07
  like,
• 43:08
  what
• 43:08
  are
• 43:08
  we
• 43:08
  going
• 43:08
  to
• 43:09
  do?
• 43:09
  Where
• 43:09
  are
• 43:09
  we
• 43:09
  going
• 43:09
  to
• 43:09
  live?
• 43:11
  Because
• 43:11
  we
• 43:12
  really
• 43:12
  did,
• 43:12
  did
• 43:13
  not
• 43:13
  want
• 43:13
  to
• 43:13
  like,
• 43:14
  you
• 43:14
  know,
• 43:15
  live
• 43:15
  outside
• 43:15
  of
• 43:16
  town
• 43:16
  and
• 43:16
  have
• 43:17
  to
• 43:17
  commute
• 43:17
  in,
• 43:18
  like
• 43:18
  starting
• 43:18
  a
• 43:19
  gallery.
• 43:19
  We
• 43:19
  just.
• 43:20
  One
• 43:21
  of
• 43:21
  the
• 43:21
  biggest
• 43:21
  components
• 43:22
  is
• 43:22
  just
• 43:23
  being
• 43:23
  there
• 43:23
  and
• 43:24
  being
• 43:24
  open.
• 43:26
  Yeah,
• 43:26
  interesting.
• 43:27
  And
• 43:27
  so,
• 43:28
  you
• 43:28
  know,
• 43:28
  I
• 43:28
  know
• 43:28
  you've
• 43:29
  opened
• 43:29
  it.
• 43:29
  I
• 43:30
  would
• 43:30
  imagine
• 43:30
  that's
• 43:30
  probably
• 43:30
  a
• 43:31
  soft
• 43:31
  opening.
• 43:31
  Are
• 43:31
  you
• 43:32
  having
• 43:32
  a
• 43:32
  grand
• 43:32
  opening
• 43:33
  maybe
• 43:33
  like
• 43:34
  later
• 43:34
  this
• 43:35
  month
• 43:35
  or
• 43:35
  in
• 43:35
  November?
• 43:36
  Yep.
• 43:37
  We're
• 43:37
  doing
• 43:38
  the
• 43:38
  ribbon
• 43:38
  cutting
• 43:39
  ceremony
• 43:39
  which,
• 43:41
  you
• 43:41
  know,
• 43:41
  I
• 43:42
  say
• 43:42
  that
• 43:42
  I
• 43:42
  have
• 43:42
  no
• 43:42
  idea
• 43:43
  what's
• 43:44
  actually
• 43:44
  going
• 43:44
  to
• 43:45
  happen
• 43:45
  there.
• 43:45
  That's
• 43:45
  the
• 43:47
  Sambury
• 43:48
  Commerce
• 43:48
  has
• 43:49
  come
• 43:49
  to
• 43:49
  me
• 43:49
  and
• 43:49
  so
• 43:49
  does
• 43:50
  what's
• 43:50
  happening.
• 43:51
  When
• 43:52
  do
• 43:52
  you
• 43:52
  want
• 43:52
  to
• 43:52
  do
• 43:52
  it?
• 43:53
  And
• 43:53
  so
• 43:53
  we're
• 43:53
  going
• 43:53
  to
• 43:54
  do
• 43:54
  it
• 43:54
  during
• 43:54
  the
• 43:54
  art
• 43:55
  stroll
• 43:55
  or
• 43:55
  the
• 43:56
  holiday
• 43:56
  art
• 43:57
  stroll,
• 43:58
  which
• 43:58
  is
• 43:59
  November
• 44:00
  22nd
• 44:01
  and
• 44:02
  it's
• 44:02
  a
• 44:02
  Friday.
• 44:03
  I'm
• 44:04
  really
• 44:04
  looking
• 44:04
  forward
• 44:04
  to
• 44:05
  it
• 44:05
  because
• 44:05
  this
• 44:06
  really
• 44:06
  is
• 44:06
  a
• 44:06
  culmination
• 44:07
  of
• 44:07
  so
• 44:07
  much
• 44:08
  planning
• 44:08
  and
• 44:09
  work
• 44:09
  and
• 44:12
  it'll
• 44:12
  be
• 44:13
  a
• 44:13
  special
• 44:13
  day.
• 44:14
  Yeah,
• 44:14
  that's
• 44:15
  neat.
• 44:15
  So
• 44:15
  that'll
• 44:15
  be,
• 44:15
  I
• 44:15
  guess
• 44:15
  the
• 44:16
  Friday
• 44:16
  before
• 44:16
  Thanksgiving.
• 44:18
  Yep.
• 44:19
  Yep.
• 44:20
  Very
• 44:20
  cool.
• 44:20
  Well,
• 44:21
  you
• 44:21
  know,
• 44:21
  I
• 44:21
  also
• 44:21
  know
• 44:22
  kind
• 44:22
  of
• 44:22
  from
• 44:22
  our
• 44:22
  previous
• 44:23
  conversation
• 44:23
  that,
• 44:24
  you
• 44:24
  know,
• 44:24
  you're
• 44:24
  always
• 44:25
  collaborating
• 44:25
  with,
• 44:26
  with
• 44:26
  brands
• 44:26
  and
• 44:26
  I
• 44:27
  was
• 44:27
  kind
• 44:27
  of
• 44:27
  wondering,
• 44:27
  have
• 44:27
  you
• 44:27
  put
• 44:28
  that
• 44:28
  on
• 44:28
  hold
• 44:28
  or
• 44:29
  you
• 44:29
  have
• 44:29
  some
• 44:30
  collaborations
• 44:30
  that
• 44:30
  you're
• 44:31
  working
• 44:31
  on
• 44:31
  you
• 44:31
  want
• 44:31
  to
• 44:31
  share
• 44:31
  with
• 44:32
  our
• 44:32
  listeners?
• 44:34
  It's
• 44:35
  not
• 44:36
  on
• 44:36
  hold
• 44:36
  necessarily.
• 44:37
  It's
• 44:37
  not
• 44:37
  the
• 44:38
  main,
• 44:39
  you
• 44:39
  know,
• 44:39
  thing
• 44:40
  that
• 44:40
  I'm
• 44:40
  chooing
• 44:41
  to
• 44:41
  do
• 44:41
  these
• 44:42
  days,
• 44:42
  but
• 44:43
  I'm
• 44:43
  always
• 44:43
  happy
• 44:44
  to
• 44:44
  work
• 44:45
  with,
• 44:45
  with
• 44:46
  other
• 44:46
  brands
• 44:46
  and
• 44:47
  companies
• 44:47
  to
• 44:48
  make
• 44:49
  cool
• 44:49
  products.
• 44:49
  I
• 44:50
  mean,
• 44:50
  it's,
• 44:51
  it's
• 44:51
  funny
• 44:52
  because,
• 44:53
  you
• 44:53
  know,
• 44:54
  we've
• 44:54
  worked
• 44:54
  really
• 44:55
  hard
• 44:55
  to
• 44:55
  develop
• 44:56
  a
• 44:56
  good
• 44:56
  portfolio
• 44:57
  of
• 44:58
  products
• 44:59
  and
• 45:00
  maybe
• 45:00
  people
• 45:01
  have
• 45:01
  given
• 45:01
  me
• 45:01
  too
• 45:01
  much
• 45:02
  credit
• 45:02
  because
• 45:03
  they
• 45:03
  come
• 45:03
  to
• 45:04
  me
• 45:04
  with
• 45:04
  all
• 45:04
  These
• 45:05
  products
• 45:06
  that
• 45:06
  they
• 45:06
  think
• 45:06
  I
• 45:07
  need
• 45:07
  to
• 45:07
  do,
• 45:09
  you
• 45:09
  know,
• 45:10
  and
• 45:10
  it's
• 45:10
  like,
• 45:12
  I
• 45:12
  can't
• 45:12
  just
• 45:13
  develop,
• 45:14
  you
• 45:15
  know,
• 45:16
  there's
• 45:17
  an
• 45:17
  extent
• 45:17
  which
• 45:18
  I
• 45:18
  can.
• 45:18
  If
• 45:19
  a
• 45:19
  company
• 45:20
  offers
• 45:20
  something
• 45:20
  really
• 45:21
  close
• 45:21
  to
• 45:21
  what
• 45:22
  I
• 45:22
  want
• 45:23
  and
• 45:23
  it's
• 45:24
  quality
• 45:24
  enough,
• 45:25
  that's
• 45:25
  something
• 45:25
  I
• 45:26
  can
• 45:26
  do.
• 45:26
  But
• 45:26
  I
• 45:26
  can't
• 45:26
  just
• 45:27
  develop,
• 45:27
  like
• 45:28
  all
• 45:28
  these
• 45:28
  random
• 45:29
  products
• 45:30
  from
• 45:30
  scratch
• 45:31
  that
• 45:31
  takes
• 45:32
  so
• 45:32
  much
• 45:32
  time
• 45:33
  and
• 45:34
  is
• 45:34
  such
• 45:35
  a.
• 45:37
  Maybe
• 45:38
  a
• 45:38
  big
• 45:38
  company
• 45:39
  like
• 45:39
  Patagonia
• 45:41
  or
• 45:43
  Squalor
• 45:43
  or
• 45:43
  Sims,
• 45:44
  they
• 45:44
  can
• 45:45
  do
• 45:45
  that
• 45:45
  stuff.
• 45:47
  It's
• 45:47
  just
• 45:48
  funny
• 45:48
  what
• 45:48
  people
• 45:49
  think.
• 45:49
  Like,
• 45:49
  yeah,
• 45:50
  you
• 45:50
  should
• 45:50
  make
• 45:51
  this.
• 45:52
  Well,
• 45:52
  I,
• 45:53
  you
• 45:53
  know,
• 45:54
  if
• 45:54
  I
• 45:54
  made
• 45:54
  it,
• 45:54
  it
• 45:55
  would.
• 45:55
  It.
• 45:57
  I'd
• 45:57
  have
• 45:57
  to
• 45:57
  put
• 45:58
  all
• 45:58
  my
• 45:58
  time
• 45:58
  into
• 45:59
  marketing
• 45:59
  it
• 45:59
  and
• 46:00
  trying
• 46:00
  to
• 46:00
  get
• 46:00
  it
• 46:00
  into
• 46:01
  stores.
• 46:01
  Like,
• 46:01
  that
• 46:01
  would
• 46:01
  cost
• 46:02
  so
• 46:02
  much
• 46:02
  money
• 46:02
  to
• 46:03
  make.
• 46:04
  But
• 46:05
  no,
• 46:06
  we've
• 46:08
  been
• 46:08
  setting
• 46:08
  up
• 46:09
  our
• 46:09
  merchandise
• 46:10
  while
• 46:10
  at
• 46:11
  the
• 46:12
  gallery
• 46:14
  and
• 46:14
  that's
• 46:14
  been
• 46:14
  kind
• 46:15
  of
• 46:15
  cool
• 46:15
  too,
• 46:15
  because
• 46:15
  we
• 46:16
  haven't
• 46:16
  just
• 46:16
  taken
• 46:17
  the,
• 46:17
  you
• 46:18
  know,
• 46:18
  formula
• 46:19
  of
• 46:19
  like,
• 46:19
  this
• 46:19
  is
• 46:20
  what
• 46:20
  a
• 46:20
  gallery
• 46:20
  is,
• 46:22
  and
• 46:22
  tried
• 46:22
  to
• 46:23
  do
• 46:23
  that.
• 46:24
  We've,
• 46:25
  you
• 46:25
  know,
• 46:25
  we've
• 46:26
  grown
• 46:26
  up
• 46:26
  in
• 46:26
  fly
• 46:27
  shops.
• 46:27
  We've
• 46:28
  been
• 46:28
  doing
• 46:29
  business
• 46:29
  with
• 46:29
  fly
• 46:29
  shops
• 46:30
  forever.
• 46:31
  And
• 46:32
  I
• 46:32
  guess
• 46:32
  we're
• 46:33
  a
• 46:33
  little
• 46:33
  bit
• 46:33
  more
• 46:33
  comfortable
• 46:34
  with
• 46:34
  that
• 46:34
  kind
• 46:34
  of
• 46:34
  atmosphere
• 46:35
  than
• 46:35
  just
• 46:35
  a
• 46:35
  straight
• 46:36
  gallery.
• 46:36
  So,
• 46:37
  yes,
• 46:37
  it's
• 46:37
  a
• 46:38
  gallery,
• 46:38
  but
• 46:38
  it
• 46:38
  also
• 46:39
  has,
• 46:40
  you
• 46:40
  know,
• 46:41
  stickers,
• 46:42
  shirts,
• 46:43
  glassware.
• 46:45
  I
• 46:45
  mean,
• 46:45
  all
• 46:45
  the
• 46:46
  coolest
• 46:46
  stuff
• 46:46
  that
• 46:47
  I
• 46:47
  make
• 46:48
  is
• 46:49
  a
• 46:49
  part
• 46:49
  of
• 46:49
  it.
• 46:50
  And
• 46:50
  then,
• 46:51
  of
• 46:51
  course,
• 46:51
  the
• 46:51
  photography.
• 46:52
  And
• 46:52
  then,
• 46:53
  you
• 46:53
  know,
• 46:53
  we
• 46:53
  offer
• 46:55
  all
• 46:56
  the
• 46:56
  different
• 46:56
  types
• 46:56
  of
• 46:57
  prints
• 46:57
  that,
• 46:58
  That
• 46:58
  I
• 46:58
  offer
• 46:59
  of
• 46:59
  my
• 46:59
  artwork
• 47:00
  we
• 47:00
  offer
• 47:00
  at
• 47:01
  the
• 47:01
  gallery.
• 47:01
  It's
• 47:01
  not
• 47:02
  just
• 47:03
  fine
• 47:03
  art
• 47:04
  and
• 47:04
  it's
• 47:04
  not
• 47:04
  just
• 47:05
  like,
• 47:06
  only
• 47:06
  come
• 47:06
  in
• 47:06
  here
• 47:07
  if
• 47:07
  you
• 47:08
  are
• 47:08
  looking
• 47:08
  to
• 47:09
  add
• 47:09
  a
• 47:09
  original
• 47:10
  to
• 47:10
  your
• 47:10
  collection.
• 47:11
  Like,
• 47:11
  I
• 47:12
  want
• 47:12
  everybody
• 47:12
  to
• 47:12
  come
• 47:13
  in.
• 47:13
  I
• 47:13
  want
• 47:13
  everyone
• 47:13
  to
• 47:13
  feel
• 47:14
  welcome.
• 47:14
  And,
• 47:15
  you
• 47:15
  know,
• 47:15
  a
• 47:15
  guy
• 47:16
  said
• 47:16
  to
• 47:16
  me
• 47:16
  the
• 47:16
  other
• 47:16
  day,
• 47:17
  he
• 47:17
  came
• 47:17
  in
• 47:18
  and
• 47:19
  I
• 47:19
  could
• 47:19
  tell
• 47:19
  his
• 47:20
  energy
• 47:20
  was
• 47:20
  a
• 47:20
  little
• 47:20
  off
• 47:22
  and
• 47:22
  he
• 47:22
  was
• 47:22
  like,
• 47:23
  uncomfortable,
• 47:23
  I
• 47:23
  could
• 47:24
  tell,
• 47:24
  and
• 47:24
  he
• 47:24
  was
• 47:24
  like,
• 47:24
  on.
• 47:25
  I'm.
• 47:25
  I'm
• 47:25
  just
• 47:26
  here
• 47:26
  browsing
• 47:26
  right
• 47:26
  now.
• 47:27
  I'll
• 47:27
  come
• 47:27
  back,
• 47:28
  probably
• 47:28
  buy
• 47:29
  something.
• 47:29
  I
• 47:29
  just
• 47:29
  want
• 47:29
  to.
• 47:29
  And
• 47:30
  I
• 47:30
  said,
• 47:30
  man,
• 47:30
  I
• 47:31
  hope
• 47:31
  you
• 47:31
  just
• 47:32
  can
• 47:33
  relax
• 47:34
  and
• 47:35
  just
• 47:35
  look
• 47:35
  at
• 47:35
  the
• 47:35
  art
• 47:36
  and
• 47:36
  know
• 47:36
  that
• 47:37
  I
• 47:37
  don't
• 47:37
  expect
• 47:38
  anything
• 47:38
  of
• 47:38
  you.
• 47:39
  Like,
• 47:40
  art
• 47:40
  is
• 47:40
  to
• 47:40
  be
• 47:40
  looked
• 47:41
  at
• 47:41
  and
• 47:41
  enjoyed
• 47:42
  and,
• 47:43
  you
• 47:43
  know,
• 47:44
  thought
• 47:44
  about.
• 47:45
  And
• 47:46
  if
• 47:46
  there
• 47:46
  comes
• 47:47
  a
• 47:47
  time
• 47:47
  when
• 47:47
  you
• 47:47
  want
• 47:47
  to
• 47:48
  buy
• 47:48
  a
• 47:48
  painting
• 47:48
  from
• 47:49
  me,
• 47:49
  I
• 47:49
  would
• 47:49
  love
• 47:50
  that.
• 47:50
  But
• 47:51
  by
• 47:51
  no
• 47:51
  means
• 47:51
  do
• 47:51
  I
• 47:52
  expect
• 47:52
  that.
• 47:53
  You
• 47:54
  know,
• 47:54
  that's
• 47:54
  what
• 47:54
  this
• 47:54
  gallery
• 47:55
  is
• 47:55
  about
• 47:55
  is,
• 47:57
  you
• 47:57
  know,
• 47:58
  exposing
• 47:58
  people
• 47:58
  to
• 47:59
  my
• 48:00
  artwork.
• 48:00
  And
• 48:01
  hopefully,
• 48:02
  you
• 48:02
  know,
• 48:02
  hopefully
• 48:03
  people
• 48:03
  can
• 48:04
  come
• 48:04
  in
• 48:04
  and
• 48:04
  feel
• 48:04
  comfortable
• 48:05
  and
• 48:05
  enjoy
• 48:05
  it
• 48:06
  and
• 48:06
  not
• 48:06
  feel
• 48:06
  like
• 48:07
  that
• 48:08
  weird
• 48:08
  pressure
• 48:08
  that,
• 48:09
  you
• 48:10
  know,
• 48:10
  they're
• 48:10
  expected
• 48:10
  to
• 48:11
  buy
• 48:11
  something.
• 48:12
  Yeah.
• 48:13
  It's
• 48:13
  interesting
• 48:13
  too,
• 48:14
  right?
• 48:14
  Because,
• 48:14
  you
• 48:15
  know,
• 48:15
  there's
• 48:15
  the
• 48:15
  like,
• 48:16
  oh,
• 48:16
  you
• 48:16
  see
• 48:16
  it
• 48:16
  and
• 48:16
  you
• 48:16
  buy
• 48:17
  it
• 48:17
  and
• 48:17
  you
• 48:17
  may
• 48:17
  never
• 48:17
  even
• 48:18
  go
• 48:18
  to
• 48:18
  a
• 48:18
  gallery,
• 48:18
  but,
• 48:19
  you
• 48:19
  know,
• 48:19
  to
• 48:19
  have
• 48:20
  that
• 48:20
  relationship
• 48:21
  with
• 48:21
  you.
• 48:22
  Right.
• 48:23
  And
• 48:23
  that
• 48:23
  connection
• 48:24
  makes
• 48:24
  whatever
• 48:25
  they
• 48:25
  purchase
• 48:26
  in
• 48:26
  the
• 48:26
  gallery
• 48:27
  all
• 48:27
  that
• 48:27
  more
• 48:28
  special.
• 48:28
  Right?
• 48:31
  Maybe
• 48:32
  if
• 48:32
  I
• 48:32
  have
• 48:33
  a
• 48:33
  good
• 48:33
  connection
• 48:33
  with
• 48:33
  them.
• 48:37
  But,
• 48:38
  I
• 48:38
  mean,
• 48:38
  the
• 48:38
  point
• 48:39
  is.
• 48:40
  Is
• 48:41
  what?
• 48:41
  You
• 48:41
  know,
• 48:42
  there
• 48:43
  was
• 48:43
  like
• 48:43
  a
• 48:43
  group
• 48:43
  of
• 48:44
  teenagers
• 48:44
  that
• 48:44
  came
• 48:45
  in
• 48:45
  and
• 48:46
  they
• 48:47
  were
• 48:47
  totally
• 48:48
  stoked
• 48:48
  and,
• 48:48
  you
• 48:49
  know,
• 48:50
  maybe
• 48:50
  they
• 48:50
  weren't
• 48:51
  quite
• 48:51
  prepared
• 48:51
  to
• 48:52
  buy
• 48:52
  their
• 48:52
  first
• 48:52
  original
• 48:53
  painting.
• 48:53
  I'm
• 48:53
  just
• 48:54
  kidding.
• 48:54
  It.
• 48:54
  Obviously
• 48:55
  they
• 48:55
  were
• 48:55
  not,
• 48:56
  but
• 48:56
  we
• 48:57
  just
• 48:57
  gave
• 48:57
  them
• 48:57
  some
• 48:58
  stickers
• 48:58
  and
• 48:58
  I
• 48:58
  mean,
• 48:58
  it
• 48:59
  was
• 48:59
  still
• 48:59
  a
• 48:59
  special
• 49:00
  thing.
• 49:00
  And,
• 49:01
  you
• 49:02
  know,
• 49:04
  10
• 49:04
  years
• 49:04
  from
• 49:04
  now,
• 49:05
  they're
• 49:05
  going
• 49:05
  to
• 49:05
  be
• 49:06
  running
• 49:06
  shit
• 49:07
  and
• 49:07
  they'll
• 49:08
  come
• 49:08
  buying
• 49:09
  from
• 49:09
  me.
• 49:10
  That's
• 49:11
  pretty
• 49:11
  cool.
• 49:11
  Yeah.
• 49:12
  And
• 49:13
  so
• 49:13
  I
• 49:13
  would
• 49:13
  imagine
• 49:13
  you
• 49:14
  probably,
• 49:14
  you
• 49:14
  know,
• 49:14
  you've
• 49:14
  got
• 49:15
  your
• 49:15
  grand
• 49:15
  opening
• 49:16
  in
• 49:16
  November,
• 49:16
  but,
• 49:17
  you
• 49:17
  know,
• 49:17
  have
• 49:17
  you
• 49:17
  kind
• 49:18
  of
• 49:18
  thought
• 49:18
  about
• 49:19
  kind
• 49:19
  of
• 49:19
  events
• 49:20
  or
• 49:20
  kind
• 49:20
  of
• 49:20
  programming,
• 49:21
  particularly,
• 49:21
  I
• 49:21
  guess,
• 49:21
  during
• 49:22
  kind
• 49:22
  of
• 49:22
  high
• 49:22
  tourist
• 49:22
  season
• 49:23
  that
• 49:23
  you
• 49:23
  might
• 49:23
  have
• 49:23
  in
• 49:23
  the
• 49:24
  gallery?
• 49:26
  We
• 49:26
  don't
• 49:26
  have
• 49:26
  any
• 49:27
  major
• 49:27
  plans,
• 49:28
  but
• 49:28
  we'll.
• 49:28
  We'll
• 49:29
  probably
• 49:29
  do
• 49:32
  probably
• 49:33
  three
• 49:33
  shows
• 49:34
  a
• 49:34
  year
• 49:34
  and
• 49:35
  actually,
• 49:37
  you
• 49:37
  know,
• 49:37
  do
• 49:38
  like
• 49:38
  a
• 49:38
  show
• 49:39
  night.
• 49:39
  And
• 49:40
  I
• 49:40
  mean,
• 49:41
  I'm
• 49:41
  a
• 49:41
  huge
• 49:42
  music
• 49:42
  lover.
• 49:42
  I
• 49:42
  love
• 49:43
  playing
• 49:43
  the
• 49:43
  guitar.
• 49:44
  I'm
• 49:44
  not
• 49:44
  good
• 49:44
  at
• 49:44
  it,
• 49:45
  but
• 49:45
  I
• 49:45
  love
• 49:45
  doing
• 49:46
  it.
• 49:47
  And
• 49:48
  I
• 49:48
  paint
• 49:49
  guitars
• 49:49
  and
• 49:49
  I've
• 49:50
  got
• 49:50
  guitars
• 49:51
  in
• 49:51
  the
• 49:51
  gallery
• 49:52
  and
• 49:52
  I'd
• 49:52
  love
• 49:52
  to
• 49:52
  have,
• 49:53
  like,
• 49:53
  music
• 49:54
  at
• 49:54
  the
• 49:54
  events.
• 49:55
  And
• 49:56
  playing
• 49:56
  the
• 49:56
  guitar
• 49:57
  in
• 49:57
  the
• 49:57
  gallery
• 49:58
  just
• 49:58
  sounds
• 49:58
  amazing
• 49:59
  because
• 49:59
  it's
• 49:59
  kind
• 49:59
  of
• 49:59
  a
• 50:00
  little
• 50:00
  bit
• 50:00
  echoey
• 50:01
  with
• 50:01
  the
• 50:01
  brick
• 50:02
  walls
• 50:02
  in
• 50:02
  the
• 50:02
  wood
• 50:03
  floors
• 50:04
  and
• 50:05
  so
• 50:05
  that,
• 50:05
  you
• 50:06
  know,
• 50:06
  definitely
• 50:06
  music
• 50:07
  will
• 50:07
  be
• 50:07
  a
• 50:07
  part
• 50:07
  of
• 50:07
  it
• 50:08
  and,
• 50:10
  yeah,
• 50:10
  it'll
• 50:10
  be
• 50:11
  fun.
• 50:11
  I'm
• 50:12
  really
• 50:12
  stoked.
• 50:12
  And
• 50:13
  I,
• 50:13
  you
• 50:13
  know,
• 50:14
  just
• 50:15
  like.
• 50:17
  Any.
• 50:18
  Trip
• 50:18
  I
• 50:18
  go
• 50:18
  on,
• 50:19
  the
• 50:19
  number
• 50:19
  one
• 50:22
  thing
• 50:22
  that
• 50:22
  I
• 50:23
  think
• 50:23
  about
• 50:23
  is
• 50:23
  not
• 50:24
  fish,
• 50:24
  but
• 50:25
  people.
• 50:25
  And
• 50:26
  the
• 50:26
  people
• 50:26
  in
• 50:26
  Montana
• 50:27
  I
• 50:27
  love,
• 50:28
  you
• 50:28
  know,
• 50:28
  they're
• 50:29
  great
• 50:29
  people.
• 50:29
  So
• 50:30
  that's
• 50:30
  what
• 50:30
  draws
• 50:31
  me
• 50:31
  back
• 50:31
  here.
• 50:31
  Number
• 50:32
  one.
• 50:33
  Yeah,
• 50:33
  it's
• 50:34
  definitely
• 50:34
  one
• 50:34
  of
• 50:35
  my
• 50:35
  favorite
• 50:36
  places
• 50:36
  on
• 50:36
  the
• 50:36
  planet.
• 50:37
  I
• 50:37
  haven't
• 50:38
  been
• 50:39
  back
• 50:39
  as
• 50:39
  much
• 50:39
  maybe
• 50:39
  in
• 50:39
  the
• 50:40
  last
• 50:40
  four
• 50:41
  years
• 50:41
  as
• 50:41
  I
• 50:42
  like
• 50:42
  to,
• 50:42
  but.
• 50:43
  Yeah,
• 50:44
  it's
• 50:44
  just.
• 50:44
  It's
• 50:45
  amazing.
• 50:45
  It's
• 50:45
  kind
• 50:45
  of
• 50:45
  funny.
• 50:46
  I've
• 50:46
  got
• 50:46
  friends
• 50:46
  who
• 50:47
  are
• 50:47
  over
• 50:48
  in
• 50:48
  Ennis
• 50:49
  fishing
• 50:50
  the
• 50:50
  Madison,
• 50:50
  and,
• 50:51
  like,
• 50:51
  I
• 50:51
  get
• 50:51
  to
• 50:51
  tell
• 50:51
  them
• 50:51
  the
• 50:52
  bars
• 50:52
  and
• 50:52
  where
• 50:52
  to
• 50:52
  go
• 50:52
  and
• 50:53
  where
• 50:53
  to
• 50:53
  camp
• 50:53
  and
• 50:53
  all
• 50:53
  that
• 50:53
  kind
• 50:54
  of
• 50:54
  stuff,
• 50:54
  and
• 50:54
  it's.
• 50:55
  It's
• 50:55
  super
• 50:55
  cool.
• 50:56
  Right,
• 50:56
  yeah.
• 50:57
  And
• 50:57
  they
• 50:57
  send
• 50:57
  you
• 50:57
  pictures,
• 50:57
  for
• 50:57
  the
• 50:57
  most
• 50:58
  part.
• 50:58
  Just
• 50:58
  stays
• 50:58
  the
• 50:59
  same.
• 50:59
  Yeah.
• 50:59
  And
• 50:59
  they
• 51:00
  just
• 51:00
  send
• 51:00
  you
• 51:00
  pictures
• 51:00
  like
• 51:00
  we're
• 51:01
  at
• 51:01
  the
• 51:01
  gravel
• 51:01
  bars.
• 51:01
  Like
• 51:02
  you
• 51:02
  need
• 51:02
  to
• 51:02
  have
• 51:02
  a
• 51:02
  cold
• 51:02
  smoke
• 51:04
  and
• 51:05
  you
• 51:05
  know,
• 51:05
  tell
• 51:05
  people
• 51:06
  to
• 51:06
  eat
• 51:06
  breakfast
• 51:06
  at
• 51:06
  the
• 51:06
  pharmacy
• 51:07
  because
• 51:07
  that's
• 51:07
  the
• 51:07
  best
• 51:08
  place.
• 51:08
  And,
• 51:09
  you
• 51:09
  know,
• 51:09
  not
• 51:10
  to
• 51:10
  be
• 51:10
  afraid
• 51:10
  of
• 51:10
  eating
• 51:11
  at
• 51:11
  the
• 51:11
  bistro,
• 51:11
  at
• 51:11
  the
• 51:11
  bowling
• 51:12
  alley,
• 51:12
  all
• 51:12
  that
• 51:12
  kind
• 51:12
  of
• 51:12
  good
• 51:13
  stuff.
• 51:15
  I
• 51:15
  just
• 51:16
  learned
• 51:16
  a
• 51:16
  couple
• 51:16
  of
• 51:16
  the.
• 51:17
  What
• 51:18
  was
• 51:18
  it?
• 51:18
  The.
• 51:20
  I
• 51:20
  don't
• 51:20
  remember
• 51:20
  if
• 51:20
  it
• 51:20
  was
• 51:21
  still
• 51:21
  called
• 51:21
  the
• 51:21
  Grizzly,
• 51:22
  but,
• 51:22
  you
• 51:23
  know,
• 51:23
  right
• 51:23
  by
• 51:24
  Ennis
• 51:24
  Lake.
• 51:26
  Right.
• 51:27
  I
• 51:27
  think
• 51:27
  that
• 51:28
  burnt
• 51:28
  to
• 51:28
  the
• 51:28
  ground.
• 51:31
  I
• 51:32
  was
• 51:32
  just
• 51:32
  there.
• 51:35
  My
• 51:35
  buddy
• 51:35
  said
• 51:35
  it
• 51:35
  burned.
• 51:36
  Interesting.
• 51:37
  Yeah,
• 51:37
  it's.
• 51:38
  It's
• 51:38
  kind
• 51:38
  of
• 51:39
  funny.
• 51:39
  I
• 51:39
  mean,
• 51:39
  I've
• 51:39
  started.
• 51:40
  Like
• 51:40
  I.
• 51:40
  When
• 51:40
  I
• 51:41
  first
• 51:41
  started
• 51:41
  going
• 51:41
  to
• 51:41
  Montana.
• 51:42
  Gosh.
• 51:42
  I
• 51:42
  mean,
• 51:43
  I'm
• 51:43
  gonna
• 51:43
  feel
• 51:43
  really
• 51:43
  old,
• 51:44
  like
• 51:44
  probably
• 51:44
  close
• 51:44
  to
• 51:45
  20
• 51:45
  years
• 51:45
  ago.
• 51:46
  I
• 51:46
  used
• 51:46
  to
• 51:46
  stay
• 51:46
  in
• 51:46
  town
• 51:47
  in
• 51:47
  Bozeman
• 51:48
  and
• 51:49
  walk
• 51:49
  around
• 51:50
  and
• 51:50
  that
• 51:50
  was
• 51:50
  kind
• 51:50
  of
• 51:50
  a
• 51:50
  cool
• 51:51
  thing.
• 51:51
  And
• 51:52
  you
• 51:52
  know,
• 51:53
  as
• 51:53
  Bozeman
• 51:53
  has
• 51:54
  gotten
• 51:54
  busier,
• 51:54
  I've
• 51:55
  kind
• 51:55
  of.
• 51:56
  I
• 51:56
  moved
• 51:56
  to
• 51:56
  West
• 51:57
  Yellowstone
• 51:57
  and
• 51:57
  then
• 51:57
  West
• 51:58
  Yellowstone
• 51:58
  got
• 51:58
  so
• 51:59
  popular
• 51:59
  that
• 51:59
  it
• 51:59
  was
• 51:59
  impossible
• 52:00
  to
• 52:00
  get
• 52:00
  good
• 52:01
  lodging,
• 52:02
  you
• 52:03
  know,
• 52:03
  at
• 52:03
  a
• 52:04
  decent
• 52:04
  rate.
• 52:05
  Like,
• 52:05
  I
• 52:05
  thought
• 52:05
  it
• 52:05
  was
• 52:05
  kind
• 52:05
  of
• 52:05
  crazy
• 52:06
  to
• 52:06
  have
• 52:06
  to
• 52:06
  spend
• 52:06
  300
• 52:07
  for
• 52:07
  a
• 52:07
  hotel
• 52:08
  room
• 52:08
  in
• 52:08
  late
• 52:08
  September.
• 52:09
  October.
• 52:09
  Yeah,
• 52:10
  right.
• 52:10
  And
• 52:11
  so
• 52:11
  I
• 52:11
  started
• 52:12
  staying
• 52:12
  down
• 52:12
  in
• 52:12
  Ennis.
• 52:13
  And
• 52:14
  you
• 52:14
  know,
• 52:14
  the
• 52:14
  great
• 52:14
  thing
• 52:15
  was
• 52:15
  I
• 52:15
  could
• 52:16
  drive
• 52:16
  up
• 52:16
  the
• 52:16
  valley
• 52:17
  every
• 52:17
  morning
• 52:17
  and
• 52:17
  miss
• 52:18
  all
• 52:18
  the
• 52:18
  kind
• 52:18
  of
• 52:18
  nuttiness
• 52:19
  getting
• 52:19
  into
• 52:19
  the
• 52:20
  park.
• 52:20
  And
• 52:20
  so,
• 52:22
  you
• 52:22
  know,
• 52:22
  that
• 52:22
  was
• 52:22
  kind
• 52:22
  of
• 52:23
  how
• 52:23
  my
• 52:23
  love
• 52:23
  affair
• 52:23
  with
• 52:23
  the
• 52:23
  fire
• 52:24
  hole
• 52:24
  started.
• 52:30
  What
• 52:30
  was
• 52:30
  your
• 52:31
  favorite
• 52:31
  time
• 52:31
  to
• 52:31
  fish
• 52:32
  the
• 52:32
  fire
• 52:32
  off?
• 52:33
  I
• 52:33
  like
• 52:33
  to
• 52:34
  fish
• 52:34
  it
• 52:34
  like,
• 52:34
  you
• 52:35
  know,
• 52:35
  probably
• 52:36
  maybe
• 52:37
  not
• 52:37
  quite
• 52:37
  this
• 52:37
  late.
• 52:38
  I
• 52:38
  mean,
• 52:38
  the
• 52:38
  weather's
• 52:38
  changing,
• 52:39
  but
• 52:39
  literally
• 52:40
  I
• 52:40
  like
• 52:40
  to
• 52:40
  go
• 52:41
  kind
• 52:41
  of
• 52:41
  middle
• 52:41
  to
• 52:41
  late
• 52:42
  September
• 52:42
  kind
• 52:42
  of
• 52:42
  as
• 52:43
  West
• 52:43
  Yellowstone
• 52:43
  is
• 52:43
  winding
• 52:44
  down.
• 52:44
  Right.
• 52:44
  They're
• 52:44
  getting
• 52:45
  ready
• 52:45
  to
• 52:45
  kind
• 52:45
  of
• 52:46
  close
• 52:46
  up
• 52:46
  and
• 52:47
  take
• 52:47
  that
• 52:47
  like
• 52:47
  two
• 52:48
  month
• 52:48
  break
• 52:48
  to
• 52:48
  get
• 52:48
  snow
• 52:48
  for
• 52:49
  the
• 52:49
  snowmobilers
• 52:51
  and
• 52:51
  to
• 52:51
  be
• 52:51
  out
• 52:51
  there
• 52:52
  and
• 52:52
  to
• 52:52
  fish,
• 52:52
  you
• 52:53
  know,
• 52:53
  when
• 52:53
  it's
• 52:53
  snowing.
• 52:54
  Right.
• 52:55
  And
• 52:55
  you
• 52:56
  know,
• 52:56
  dude,
• 52:56
  it's
• 52:57
  nuts.
• 52:57
  Were
• 52:58
  there
• 52:58
  still
• 53:00
  hatches
• 53:00
  happening?
• 53:01
  Oh,
• 53:01
  for
• 53:02
  sure.
• 53:02
  You
• 53:02
  had
• 53:02
  the,
• 53:03
  you
• 53:03
  had
• 53:03
  the
• 53:03
  Miller
• 53:03
  Caddis
• 53:04
  and
• 53:04
  the
• 53:04
  Blue
• 53:04
  Wings.
• 53:05
  Right.
• 53:05
  And
• 53:05
  so
• 53:06
  you
• 53:06
  would
• 53:06
  go
• 53:07
  out
• 53:07
  there
• 53:07
  and
• 53:08
  I
• 53:08
  like
• 53:08
  to
• 53:08
  fish
• 53:09
  it
• 53:09
  above
• 53:09
  the
• 53:10
  falls
• 53:10
  and.
• 53:12
  And
• 53:12
  one
• 53:13
  of
• 53:13
  my
• 53:13
  favorite
• 53:13
  places
• 53:13
  to
• 53:14
  go
• 53:14
  was
• 53:14
  like,
• 53:14
  if
• 53:15
  you
• 53:15
  pulled
• 53:15
  in
• 53:15
  at
• 53:15
  the
• 53:15
  Nez
• 53:15
  Perce
• 53:16
  picnic
• 53:17
  area,
• 53:17
  you
• 53:17
  could
• 53:17
  walk
• 53:17
  and
• 53:18
  then
• 53:18
  cross
• 53:18
  the
• 53:18
  river
• 53:19
  and
• 53:19
  like,
• 53:19
  you
• 53:19
  wouldn't
• 53:19
  see
• 53:19
  a
• 53:19
  saw.
• 53:21
  Yeah,
• 53:21
  there's
• 53:21
  always,
• 53:22
  always
• 53:22
  those
• 53:23
  little
• 53:23
  secret
• 53:23
  things
• 53:24
  like
• 53:24
  that
• 53:24
  where
• 53:25
  you
• 53:25
  can
• 53:25
  really
• 53:25
  get
• 53:25
  away
• 53:25
  from
• 53:26
  the
• 53:26
  crowds,
• 53:26
  and
• 53:27
  that's
• 53:28
  cool.
• 53:29
  You're
• 53:30
  not
• 53:30
  going
• 53:30
  to
• 53:30
  find
• 53:30
  a
• 53:31
  similar
• 53:32
  place
• 53:32
  to
• 53:32
  fish.
• 53:33
  It's
• 53:33
  very,
• 53:34
  very
• 53:35
  interesting
• 53:36
  and
• 53:36
  just
• 53:37
  beautiful.
• 53:38
  And
• 53:40
  did
• 53:40
  you
• 53:40
  ever
• 53:40
  end
• 53:40
  up
• 53:41
  in
• 53:41
  the
• 53:41
  middle
• 53:41
  of
• 53:44
  a
• 53:44
  herd
• 53:44
  of
• 53:44
  bison?
• 53:46
  No,
• 53:46
  but
• 53:46
  I
• 53:47
  did
• 53:47
  have
• 53:47
  one
• 53:47
  time
• 53:47
  I
• 53:48
  was
• 53:48
  actually
• 53:48
  fishing
• 53:48
  close
• 53:49
  to
• 53:49
  the
• 53:49
  road,
• 53:50
  and
• 53:51
  my
• 53:51
  back.
• 53:52
  Let's
• 53:53
  see
• 53:53
  if
• 53:53
  I
• 53:53
  was
• 53:53
  swinging.
• 53:53
  I
• 53:54
  guess
• 53:54
  my
• 53:54
  back
• 53:54
  was
• 53:54
  facing
• 53:55
  upstream.
• 53:55
  And
• 53:55
  these.
• 53:55
  You
• 53:56
  know,
• 53:56
  every
• 53:56
  now
• 53:56
  and
• 53:56
  again,
• 53:56
  people
• 53:57
  would
• 53:57
  pull
• 53:57
  over
• 53:57
  to
• 53:57
  take
• 53:58
  your
• 53:58
  picture,
• 53:58
  Right.
• 54:00
  But
• 54:00
  this.
• 54:00
  This
• 54:01
  woman
• 54:01
  pulled
• 54:01
  over
• 54:02
  and
• 54:02
  she
• 54:02
  rolled
• 54:02
  down
• 54:02
  her
• 54:02
  window.
• 54:02
  She's
• 54:03
  like,
• 54:03
  are
• 54:03
  you
• 54:03
  going
• 54:03
  to
• 54:03
  be
• 54:03
  okay?
• 54:05
  And
• 54:05
  I
• 54:05
  literally
• 54:06
  turned
• 54:06
  around,
• 54:06
  and
• 54:07
  there
• 54:07
  were
• 54:07
  probably
• 54:07
  eight
• 54:08
  bison
• 54:08
  crossing
• 54:09
  the
• 54:09
  river
• 54:09
  that
• 54:09
  I
• 54:09
  could
• 54:10
  have
• 54:10
  literally
• 54:10
  poked
• 54:11
  with
• 54:11
  my
• 54:12
  fly
• 54:12
  rod.
• 54:13
  And
• 54:14
  I
• 54:14
  was
• 54:14
  oblivious
• 54:14
  because
• 54:14
  I
• 54:15
  was
• 54:15
  just
• 54:15
  in
• 54:15
  the
• 54:15
  zone,
• 54:16
  you
• 54:16
  know,
• 54:16
  swinging
• 54:17
  soft
• 54:17
  tackles.
• 54:19
  Oh,
• 54:19
  man.
• 54:20
  But
• 54:20
  y'all
• 54:21
  never
• 54:22
  forget
• 54:22
  that
• 54:23
  I
• 54:23
  was
• 54:23
  on.
• 54:24
  I
• 54:24
  was
• 54:25
  up
• 54:25
  more
• 54:25
  towards
• 54:26
  the
• 54:26
  north
• 54:26
  part
• 54:26
  of
• 54:26
  the
• 54:27
  park,
• 54:27
  and
• 54:27
  I
• 54:28
  was
• 54:28
  fishing
• 54:29
  by
• 54:29
  myself.
• 54:30
  I'd
• 54:31
  hiked
• 54:31
  in
• 54:31
  quite
• 54:31
  a
• 54:31
  ways,
• 54:32
  and
• 54:33
  I
• 54:33
  heard
• 54:33
  something
• 54:34
  coming
• 54:34
  through
• 54:34
  the
• 54:35
  brush,
• 54:36
  and
• 54:36
  I.
• 54:37
  You
• 54:37
  know,
• 54:37
  I'm
• 54:37
  in
• 54:37
  the
• 54:38
  water,
• 54:38
  so
• 54:38
  I
• 54:38
  don't
• 54:38
  hear
• 54:38
  it
• 54:39
  real
• 54:39
  loud
• 54:41
  until
• 54:41
  it
• 54:41
  was
• 54:42
  right
• 54:42
  there.
• 54:42
  And
• 54:43
  I
• 54:43
  turn
• 54:43
  and
• 54:43
  look,
• 54:43
  and
• 54:44
  I.
• 54:44
  Cow
• 54:44
  elk
• 54:45
  breaks
• 54:45
  through
• 54:45
  the
• 54:47
  bush.
• 54:47
  I
• 54:48
  mean,
• 54:48
  immediately
• 54:48
  behind
• 54:49
  me.
• 54:49
  And
• 54:51
  I
• 54:51
  couldn't
• 54:51
  even
• 54:51
  see
• 54:51
  her
• 54:52
  body,
• 54:52
  just
• 54:52
  her.
• 54:53
  Her
• 54:53
  neck
• 54:53
  and
• 54:54
  head.
• 54:54
  And
• 54:54
  she
• 54:55
  just
• 54:55
  like,
• 54:55
  kind
• 54:55
  of
• 54:55
  sat
• 54:56
  there
• 54:56
  and
• 54:57
  watched
• 54:57
  me
• 54:57
  fish.
• 54:58
  Just
• 54:59
  kind
• 54:59
  of
• 54:59
  going,
• 54:59
  what.
• 55:00
  What
• 55:00
  are
• 55:00
  you.
• 55:00
  Is
• 55:00
  she
• 55:01
  going
• 55:01
  to
• 55:01
  get
• 55:01
  a
• 55:01
  drink
• 55:01
  and.
• 55:02
  But,
• 55:03
  you
• 55:03
  know,
• 55:03
  it's
• 55:04
  so
• 55:04
  cool
• 55:04
  to
• 55:04
  be
• 55:05
  raven
• 55:05
  there
• 55:06
  amongst
• 55:06
  the
• 55:06
  animals.
• 55:07
  Yeah.
• 55:08
  You
• 55:08
  know,
• 55:08
  when
• 55:08
  you
• 55:08
  were
• 55:08
  talking
• 55:09
  about
• 55:09
  kind
• 55:09
  of
• 55:09
  that
• 55:09
  magic
• 55:10
  hour
• 55:10
  of
• 55:10
  light
• 55:11
  at
• 55:11
  the
• 55:11
  end
• 55:11
  of
• 55:11
  the
• 55:11
  day,
• 55:11
  what
• 55:11
  I
• 55:11
  would
• 55:12
  usually
• 55:12
  try
• 55:12
  to
• 55:12
  do
• 55:12
  is,
• 55:13
  you
• 55:13
  know,
• 55:14
  save
• 55:14
  that
• 55:14
  time
• 55:15
  and
• 55:15
  get
• 55:15
  off
• 55:15
  the
• 55:15
  water,
• 55:16
  because,
• 55:16
  you
• 55:16
  know,
• 55:16
  as
• 55:17
  it's
• 55:17
  getting
• 55:17
  cold,
• 55:17
  you
• 55:18
  know,
• 55:18
  it's.
• 55:18
  That
• 55:18
  cold
• 55:19
  air
• 55:19
  is
• 55:19
  pushing,
• 55:20
  you
• 55:20
  know,
• 55:20
  the
• 55:20
  bison
• 55:21
  together
• 55:21
  and
• 55:21
  the
• 55:21
  elk
• 55:22
  down.
• 55:22
  And,
• 55:22
  you
• 55:22
  know,
• 55:22
  you
• 55:22
  just
• 55:23
  have
• 55:23
  these
• 55:23
  amazing
• 55:24
  things
• 55:25
  that
• 55:25
  you
• 55:25
  can
• 55:25
  kind
• 55:25
  of
• 55:25
  sit
• 55:25
  and
• 55:26
  watch,
• 55:26
  you
• 55:26
  know,
• 55:26
  in
• 55:26
  the
• 55:27
  last
• 55:27
  little
• 55:27
  bit
• 55:27
  of
• 55:27
  sunlight
• 55:28
  and
• 55:28
  then,
• 55:28
  you
• 55:28
  know,
• 55:28
  drive
• 55:29
  into
• 55:29
  West
• 55:29
  Yellowstone
• 55:29
  and
• 55:30
  have
• 55:30
  dinner
• 55:30
  and
• 55:30
  go
• 55:30
  home.
• 55:33
  Yeah.
• 55:34
  Yeah.
• 55:35
  There's
• 55:36
  definitely
• 55:36
  some
• 55:36
  magic
• 55:37
  in
• 55:37
  Yellowstone
• 55:38
  Park.
• 55:38
  Yeah.
• 55:39
  And
• 55:39
  so,
• 55:39
  you
• 55:40
  know,
• 55:40
  you've
• 55:40
  been
• 55:40
  pretty
• 55:41
  busy,
• 55:41
  but
• 55:41
  I
• 55:41
  would
• 55:41
  be
• 55:42
  remiss
• 55:42
  if
• 55:42
  I
• 55:42
  didn't
• 55:42
  ask
• 55:43
  you,
• 55:43
  Derek,
• 55:43
  if
• 55:43
  you
• 55:43
  have
• 55:44
  any
• 55:44
  other
• 55:44
  projects
• 55:44
  you're
• 55:45
  working
• 55:45
  on
• 55:45
  or
• 55:45
  contemplating
• 55:46
  you
• 55:46
  want
• 55:46
  to
• 55:46
  share
• 55:46
  with
• 55:46
  our
• 55:46
  listeners?
• 55:49
  Well,
• 55:49
  I've
• 55:49
  got
• 55:50
  several
• 55:51
  canvases
• 55:52
  on
• 55:52
  the
• 55:53
  easels
• 55:53
  that
• 55:54
  I'm.
• 55:54
  I'm
• 55:54
  working
• 55:55
  on,
• 55:55
  and
• 55:55
  I'm
• 55:55
  definitely
• 55:58
  got
• 55:59
  some
• 55:59
  really
• 56:00
  cool
• 56:01
  fish
• 56:01
  art
• 56:01
  that
• 56:02
  I'm.
• 56:02
  I'm
• 56:02
  working
• 56:03
  on
• 56:03
  brown
• 56:03
  trout
• 56:05
  But
• 56:06
  I'm
• 56:06
  also
• 56:06
  working
• 56:07
  on
• 56:07
  some
• 56:07
  owl
• 56:08
  paintings
• 56:09
  based,
• 56:09
  you
• 56:10
  know,
• 56:10
  from
• 56:10
  the
• 56:10
  inspiration
• 56:11
  from
• 56:11
  some
• 56:11
  of
• 56:12
  the
• 56:12
  photos
• 56:12
  that
• 56:12
  I've
• 56:12
  taken
• 56:13
  and
• 56:13
  just
• 56:13
  some
• 56:13
  of
• 56:13
  the
• 56:13
  things
• 56:14
  I've
• 56:14
  seen
• 56:14
  that
• 56:15
  I
• 56:15
  couldn't
• 56:15
  photograph.
• 56:16
  So
• 56:17
  those
• 56:17
  are
• 56:17
  coming
• 56:17
  along
• 56:18
  as
• 56:19
  well.
• 56:19
  Very
• 56:20
  neat.
• 56:20
  And
• 56:20
  so
• 56:21
  if
• 56:21
  folks
• 56:21
  want
• 56:21
  to,
• 56:21
  you
• 56:22
  know,
• 56:22
  follow
• 56:22
  your
• 56:22
  adventures,
• 56:23
  you
• 56:23
  know,
• 56:23
  at
• 56:23
  the
• 56:24
  easel,
• 56:25
  I
• 56:25
  guess
• 56:25
  now
• 56:26
  behind
• 56:26
  the
• 56:26
  camera,
• 56:26
  in
• 56:27
  the
• 56:27
  field
• 56:27
  and
• 56:27
  on
• 56:27
  the
• 56:27
  water,
• 56:28
  where
• 56:28
  should
• 56:28
  they
• 56:28
