- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: I am your host, Dave Myers, along with my guy, a team rich in, who I think he's looking at the world series, games seven on his phone, a team.
- 0:50[SPEAKER_00]: How are you doing tonight on this?
- 0:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, chiefs Eve.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing well man.
- 0:56[SPEAKER_01]: I'm doing well.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited for the game.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_01]: It was a it was a great day.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, a lot of bills talking bills discussions throughout the day at work online So we're we're revving up for the game at a week with the cheap some bills.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm good.
- 1:08[SPEAKER_00]: How you doing so I'm I'm good.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm good.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm good.
- 1:11[SPEAKER_00]: You rolled right past that world series What are you rooting for in the world series?
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: I know you're a metz fan.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: I'm a Yankees fan.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: So we have no dog in the fight.
- 1:18[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: What do you, anybody but the Dodgers?
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm tied, I'm tied to the Dodgers, man.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_01]: I'm tied to the Dodgers.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go, Jayce.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: Go, Jayce.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: You know what sucks is the Dodgers are doing what the Yankees do, but better.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they can, it hurts.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yep, they've turned, they've turned into the modern day Yankees where we was growing up when I was growing up as a kid.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: It was Yankees or you know, a championship or a bus, and most times it was championship.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: And it looks like that Dodgers is taking the realm of that in this, uh, in this century.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: agreed agreed all right so we have a packed show obviously the main topics are going to be what we're going to talk about is it's going to be that the bills and the chiefs Josh verse Patrick my homes version 10 um i think the content one hot and heavy from everybody starting like Wednesday about
- 2:12[SPEAKER_00]: What this rivalry's been like, is this the modern day, you know, Peyton Manning versus Tom Brady, all that stuff.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to spend a ton of time on that definitely.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: We do want to talk about a couple other topics.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: There was something that came out from Kurt Warner on Josh Allen in the bill's passing attack.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: I definitely want to touch on that.
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to talk about the bills passing offense.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_00]: Is it Brady?
- 2:35[SPEAKER_00]: Is it Josh?
- 2:36[SPEAKER_00]: Is it receivers?
- 2:37[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to definitely talk about Terrell Bernard because I think there was a little bit of stuff that came out this week that might have been misleading if you're kind of a casual bills fan.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to touch on that for a minute.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: We'll talk about all the bills injuries that seem to be just piling up in practice, which is always great.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_00]: Not getting hurt in games.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: They're getting hurt in practice.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_00]: I came wanting to talk about Josh Allen's previous offensive coordinators in this crew offensive coordinator.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to talk about Steve Smith and what he had to say about Kian Coleman.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: When I say all that, I say all that to say this.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_00]: A game.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: Lead us, my man.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_00]: Where do you want to start?
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: You know what, let's let's start with that.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_01]: Let's start with with with Keon Coleman.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, the worst C-RIR receiver position has been continuously a hot topic throughout the course of the season, Steve Smith, Junior, the Hall of Fame receiver from the Carolina Panthers weighed in and gave some, gave some,
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: harsh remarks, right, gave some, gave some harsh remarks.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: So let's, let's discuss that.
- 3:36[SPEAKER_01]: Is that reality?
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Is it true?
- 3:38[SPEAKER_01]: Was it too harsh?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: Is it sure?
- 3:40[SPEAKER_01]: Or should we be more patient?
- 3:41[SPEAKER_01]: We key on Coleman?
- 3:42[SPEAKER_01]: What are your thoughts?
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: What are your vibes?
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: Let's discuss.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_00]: Um,
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know because last year he seemed to be pro-Keyon, like the bills are using him the wrong way.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_00]: He should be a big slot, all this stuff.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: And yeah, I think he was kind of it was rookie.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just get him some targets, some receptions.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: I have anybody else, how I feel about Keyon Coleman.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: And I got into a couple of discussions on Twitter slash X, this week about Keyon Coleman.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: And look, do we need to see more?
- 4:13[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I don't think we've got a fair amount of time to assess what he is right now.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: Do I think the bills are forcing the ball to him?
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I absolutely think that
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: the bills aren't utilizing him in a proper manner.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_00]: But he's a second round pick, the 33rd overall, on a championship caliber Super Bowl aspirations team with an MVP quarterback.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_00]: So is this, is this Josh Allen's not looking in Keyon's direction enough, or when he is, he's looking at him when he's covered, and he's just trying to force it in there, is Joe Brady trying to,
- 4:52[SPEAKER_00]: because he knows there's the pressure of we have to use kian because he was a second wrong pick.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_00]: Is it Joe Brady?
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: Does it know how to use him properly?
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: Is it kian's not built right for this offense?
- 5:04[SPEAKER_00]: Like we've talked about kian.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like a thousand times a team.
- 5:08[SPEAKER_00]: You and me have talked about what he is, what he is.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like how the bills are using him is what he isn't, right?
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like there needs to be some schemes to get key on in space.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_00]: However, you want to do that, however you want to scheme that up.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: call the plays, whatever you want to do, get Keyon in space because we saw last year a couple games, he broke some big run after catch passes.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: And I feel like he can do that.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't, I don't think that he's just the sideline back shoulder 50, 50 guy.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: I think there's more to Keyon, but that's, that's all he's being targeted.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: It seems like it seems like they're just forcing throes to him that are very low percentage throes.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: This, I mean, again, this could go down a rabbit hole of a lot of stuff to talk about key on Coleman because we were sold on the big body.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: We were sold on the physicality.
- 6:06[SPEAKER_00]: We were sold on the red zone presence.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: We were sold on how high he can jump when he plays basketball.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: We were sold on all this stuff.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_00]: But yet, that's not what they're asking him to do.
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: Does that
- 6:23[SPEAKER_00]: in between the 20s.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm okay with that.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_00]: Once you get into the red zone, he should be a focal point of your offense, right?
- 6:30[SPEAKER_00]: He should be a guy that you're going to throw some back shoulder balls to in the end zone where it's either a key on gets it or it's an incomplete pass because that worked a couple of times last year.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_00]: I just, I don't know what happened to the key on Coleman from week one when he seemed to be just kind of,
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: doing a lot of the stuff that he's not doing now, I watched the game against the Panthers on the L-22 and you can see Keyon's open right over the middle and Josh decided to force the three-yard pass to Jackson Haas, who was blanketed on the sideline and it was kind of baffling to me.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know, what's your take?
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: I think, I mean, I've put out several videos on
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like, these comments here, I've seen on social media a lot of people say, oh, Keon Coleman, legacy game incoming because they think he's gonna be pissed off from all these comments from Steve Smith and this other stuff, and he hears the criticism, but I feel like we've been waiting for that all season and it's just not there.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: Week one, yes, it was nice.
- 7:32[SPEAKER_00]: But what's your, what's your take?
- 7:34[SPEAKER_00]: What's your thoughts, your analysis on all this?
- 7:40[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's tough, right, because you see rookies on other teams or you see.
- 7:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, first or second year players on other teams and they produce, right?
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: We saw it with, you know, Brock Bowers last year.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what the hell's going on this year, but we saw it last year with Brock Bowers.
- 8:06[SPEAKER_01]: We saw it last year with, uh, Latin Maconkey, right?
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: With the chargers.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_01]: We saw it last year with Brian Thomas Jr., right?
- 8:15[SPEAKER_01]: So when we see guys that comes and come into the lead and
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: you get that microwave, that instant success.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, okay, we want our guy to do that also, right?
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: So now it becomes, we want that instant gratification as well, but when we don't get it, now it's like, okay,
- 8:36[SPEAKER_01]: is this guy the guy do he have the potential to be the guy everybody can learn at different places.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Kian Coleman is at La Maconki, Kian Coleman isn't Brian Thomas Junior, but if he can get there all all well that ends well at the end of the day, but
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: Well, we see the struggles from Keyon Coleman in terms of the lack of production in terms of the lack of separation in terms of Josh Allen's, it comes to a point where he could be running open on a player tool and he's not being seen.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think that is just a combination of
- 9:16[SPEAKER_01]: Kion Coleman and his athletic traits for the lack thereof and what the bills are doing in terms of how they're using him.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: In my opinion, sticking him out in the island, on the outside, in the boundary, we're going to have conversations like this.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: the Scott and report for Kion Coleman was exactly that.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: If you're going to leave Kion Coleman on the outside to win consistently on the boundary, you may be upset at the results.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_01]: We knew this.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: It was on the Scott and report coming out of college.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_01]: So in my opinion, if you know that coming out of college, that could be, and I don't like to call it liabilities, I like to call it opportunities, right?
- 10:04[SPEAKER_01]: If that's an opportunity that he can get better, let's go ahead, what can we do as a coaching staff, as an organization, to mask some of the efficiencies that he have?
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: Can he playing the slap position a little more?
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: He's only playing it in 10% of his snacks.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: Snaps can he move around a little bit more in terms of getting some space, giving him some space to take advantage of mismatch.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_01]: Going motion to take advantage of, okay, is this a zone or is this man put him in space?
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: So he doesn't get beat and doesn't stop
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: But I think the Buffalo Bills can do more in terms of getting key on Coleman, open looks and open availability to make plays, Joe Morton, the Office of Coordinator from the Detroit Lions.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_01]: They asked him about Jamison Williams, who just got paid a 3 year 80 million dollar contract.
- 11:06[SPEAKER_01]: Joe, more and said the office coordinator said, I am fell in Jameson Williams right now.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_01]: It is up to me paraphrasing.
- 11:14[SPEAKER_01]: It is up to me, the office coordinator, to do a better job getting the ball in his hands.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I feel that's the same justification that could be said for Joe Brady and the Buffalo Bill's Hawks.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_01]: So when I look at Keyon Coleman, I can't just blame the man.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_01]: I just can't blame the individual alone.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: I have to put some type of blame on the offense on Joe Brady and the scheme.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_01]: Can we do a better job?
- 11:44[SPEAKER_01]: scheming our guys open, putting our guys in mismatch situations where it could be advantageous to them.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_01]: And thus far, I don't think that the Buffalo Bill's offensively have done that enough and we're seeing some struggles from Keyon because of it.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_01]: So, do I think it's player absolutely, but I think coaches have something to say about that as well.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I think, too, and you just brought up a bunch of great points.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I know we talked about the whole thing with James and Williams.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: Like, why is anybody on social media afraid to say that Joe Brady has his flaws and they get exposed?
- 12:28[SPEAKER_00]: Why is why are we not allowed to say two years in a row?
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: We have had the same thing happen.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: Our general manager has to go and find a wide receiver.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if he's the guy that gave them all the players and you need to just make it work fine, you want to use that, that's cool.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_00]: But,
- 12:54[SPEAKER_00]: Why are we not scheming guys open for short periods during the season?
- 13:00[SPEAKER_00]: And it just becomes so frustrating that we start blaming Brandon Bean.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: We start blaming Josh Allen.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: We start saying the offense sucks.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_00]: And that's like, I know this is bigger than Keon.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: And we were talking about Keon, but I think this could be said,
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: for a bunch of these guys on on the bills offense.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_00]: And I, I feel like now beans probably and it will get to it shortly, but beans looking at receivers again, because the guys that he has can't get down the field.
- 13:31[SPEAKER_00]: Are we sure that we don't have a lot more on this roster?
- 13:35[SPEAKER_00]: Are we sure that we don't have Curtis Samuel when healthy on this roster that can run routes deep down the field?
- 13:42[SPEAKER_00]: There's a guy that's going to be playing pretty soon, who practiced this week, finally, and Gabe Davis, you're telling me he's not going to be on this roster here in a couple of weeks, getting downfield looks so like it's just a whole thing baffles me and this can kind of tie into like what's up with the past game topic that we were talking about, but I agree with you 100% about Kian like.
- 14:08[SPEAKER_00]: I saw a comment about it's not Keyons fault he was overdrafted.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, cool, that's I get that, but 95% of mock drafts had him as the second round great from what I saw.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: So it doesn't matter if he was drafted 33rd or 64th, whatever.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_00]: He's still was drafted in the second round.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: And it was still the bill's first pick of the draft that year.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, your first impressions on this passing game because we can break down this thing and dig through every single layer.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I think I think we should because I feel like I don't want to leave on any stone unturned with this conversation because I feel like a lot of people go one way or the other and then there's flip flopping.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_00]: So your first
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: look at the bills on paper coming into this season.
- 14:59[SPEAKER_00]: We had shows talking about the wide receiver roster compared to last year.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's probably a little bit better, right?
- 15:06[SPEAKER_00]: You would say on paper.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: It's a little bit better.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_00]: When they added a larger more, I think that gave it a little bit of a boost.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: Would you say so?
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: I've got to assess that.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_01]: I could agree with that.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_00]: Can we we lost to Marty Cooper and Matt Collins and we gained Joshua Palmer and Elijah Moore.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: And we were hoping second year, Kian, another year, Shakir, Kian's coming back into the past catching scenario.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: So here we are.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Allen, after week one, I feel like we were all like holy shit.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't think dude had another level that he could get to.
- 15:44[SPEAKER_00]: And he just took it to another level against the Baltimore Ravens which at the time, yes, was healthy, was playing all of them starters, yada, yada, yada.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: But then I feel like you may and a few others
- 15:59[SPEAKER_00]: started to see that okay things are hard like there's there's scoring 30 points.
- 16:04[SPEAKER_00]: So nobody was complaining because remember everybody wants to talk about the offense they want to say well we scored a record amount of points last year in 30 rushing 30 passing.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_00]: Josh was the MVP.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: So we start getting through these games and then we hit the Patriots and then we hit the falcons.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: And even the times that the bills tried the pass against the Panthers, it did not look good at all.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_00]: It looked uncomfortable to watch.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: So let's start with Josh Allen.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_00]: What have you seen from week one to week eight to make you think that some of the blame lies on his shoulders?
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: Kind of break down your thoughts there.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_01]: In my opinion, he's not seeing the field as good as he would usually see the field when he is not struggling, right?
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: We spoke about it.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_01]: And that's long ago.
- 17:07[SPEAKER_01]: Keon Coleman when he went to, he looked at Jackson Halls on a three yard short passing.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: The short passing play.
- 17:13[SPEAKER_01]: Keon Coleman was was open over the middle.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: he has seen the field right now.
- 17:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think that he is missing guys when he is when the the the one or two opportunities guys are running wide open he's missing
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: right so he's not seeing guys he's he's missing certain opportunities where he has when he can take advantage of them and he doesn't for that on that particular play and then he's holding the ball too long at times right he ran he was running around last week for about five to seven seconds and he took a second he's like whoa
- 17:50[SPEAKER_01]: that was, is this 2019 all over again?
- 17:53[SPEAKER_01]: What, what are we seeing here, Josh Allen?
- 17:55[SPEAKER_01]: That's two plus two is still four, throw the ball away.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: So I think he is struggling with the basic fundamentals.
- 18:06[SPEAKER_01]: of the quarterback position right now.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: And I say basic fundamentals like it's easy, it's still hard, but we've seen Josh Allen replicate the success so much that becomes now the expectation.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: So I do feel that Josh Allen is struggling and he needs to find himself.
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: I do believe while there are players playing and we're seeing these million dollar players on the field and of course they have to get blame and they have to be talked about.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: But again, and people made this agree with this, I'm going to go ahead and revert everything back to coaching and schematics once again.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I'm not saying Josh Allen can do no wrong.
- 18:51[SPEAKER_01]: He absolutely can and he did, right?
- 18:54[SPEAKER_01]: But I do believe.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_01]: football, coaching, and the offensive schematics is
- 19:02[SPEAKER_01]: a sum of moving parts, right?
- 19:05[SPEAKER_01]: I believe that when things are going well, there are certain parts that create and hold that makes the engine run.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_01]: And when things are not going well, I believe it's the same thing.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_01]: I believe it's a trickle effect that's happening with the Buffalo bills in terms of when they have success or when they struggle, the Buffalo bills, they're not separate.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_01]: The receivers are not separate.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: right now all of a sudden the Josh Allen is taking more sacks than he has in a year in terms of comparing this year to last year.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: So the receivers will not get the separation I believe he's taking sacks I think the scheme is real simplistic guys are not getting open and I think now
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: with the defense, not playing it as well as they should, not taking the ball away.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think that puts more pressure on the offense in Josh Allen.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: I think that puts more pressure on him to make plays and force throws.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: I think that puts more pressure on Josh Allen to play hero ball.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: And when he puts, when you have to put more pressure on him, I think,
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: He misses things and I think that's what's going on right now with the Buffalo Bill's Josh Allen and that offense is struggling as a offense.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think it starts with the foundation and that scheme and says the scheme isn't going right.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're seeing certain parts start to break down.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: So again, I labeled this.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if you have to see it up here.
- 20:36[SPEAKER_01]: I labeled this as the Joe Brie game.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think Joe Brady has to be, and you know, I've heard it from media outlets and punnances as well, but I believe this is a game where Joe Brady has to throw the ball, has to be schematically unpredictable at times, and he's going to have to do a better job of scheming guys open, so guys can get back their confidence to play the football that we're accustomed to seeing our Buffalo bills play.
- 21:07[SPEAKER_01]: in my opinion, yes, as Josh Allen Struggland absolutely, but I think it's a trickle effect from the foundation being susceptible right now into Buffalo Bill's offense.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_00]: So we talked, and I agree with it's a Joe Brady game, and we'll get more into that in the chief's preview here in a little bit, but I agree with you to the fact where where did week ones passing offense go?
- 21:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I understand the bills were down and were desperate
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: They still executed on everything.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like it looked phenomenal.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_00]: Like the bills passing off and it looks phenomenal.
- 21:43[SPEAKER_00]: There's been a couple times here there when you're like, there's Josh, you know, there it is.
- 21:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like, okay, we see you.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: But how Josh got from week one to here is more concerning to me.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: because this he not trust any of the wide receivers besides colluel Shakir, you know, I understand we're missing Josh Palmer and he's we're going to miss him again tomorrow.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: But does he just not have that trust where like last year, he, I think he started to trust Mac Hollands and you saw Mac Hollands get those big targets and big key spots.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: He obviously trusted Shakir, but I don't know.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's going to be something that,
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: I hope this week, and I don't want to spoil our previews and predictions part of the show, but I just I mean, it's going to make a move and I said it two shows ago, that means going to trade for a wide receiver.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_00]: And it's going to be a reactionary move.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what that looks like for the bill's wide receiver room.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: Do you demo Tyrell shivers back to the practice squad?
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: He'll probably get tried to get someone who probably tried to pick them up.
- 22:47[SPEAKER_00]: Do you trade Elijah Moore?
- 22:49[SPEAKER_00]: Do you trade Curtis Samuel and his contract's pretty bad?
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: Like what do you do?
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like do you just have seven receivers on the roster?
- 22:56[SPEAKER_00]: And two of them are inactive on gaming?
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: That's pointless.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: So it's going to be interesting to see how he reacts.
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like he always does at the trade deadline.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk about the actual water seeers themselves, which is most concerning to you.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: Is it key on?
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: Palmer, I think we give a pass because I feel like there's just no sample size, right?
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what are we doing with Curtis Samuel?
- 23:25[SPEAKER_00]: What are we doing with Elijah Moore?
- 23:27[SPEAKER_00]: Like, we're not even using these guys, but yet everybody wants to complain that they don't,
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: Last time I checked Elijah Moore was the fastest wide receiver in that room if not as fast a little bit faster than Curtis Samuel like why are we not using him and the deep passing game.
- 23:48[SPEAKER_00]: Why are we just using him as a jet sweep guy and a gadget guy.
- 23:52[SPEAKER_00]: What's your thoughts on the actual wide receivers on the roster we talked about key on so who's next up like what's what's the most concerning about what these guys aren't doing on the field.
- 24:04[SPEAKER_01]: Man, it's tough to say, you got Kian Coleman, you got Eli Moore, you got Curtis Samuel.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: First of all, if we have an issue at the White receiver room in the White receiver position, who's our best driver receiver?
- 24:18[SPEAKER_01]: Is it Khalil Shakir?
- 24:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, if he's the best driver receiver, let's start by getting him more targets.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: Well, guess what?
- 24:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's quite possible.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: right, that the best receiver on the Buffalo bills may not even be a receiver, right.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: It may be, it Dalton can K, maybe the best past catcher that the Buffalo bills have in that on the office side of war, why not get him the ball more, why not feature him more?
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: The guys that we think are the best on the team should be featured more in my opinion.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: We have to, it's now, this everything, everybody, East philosophy is great, right?
- 24:58[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it keeps the camaraderie on the football team.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: When guys catch five balls one week and don't catch next.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: The next one for the next five balls for the next three weeks.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: They're not going to argue, right?
- 25:12[SPEAKER_01]: It keeps the animosity down that everybody eats.
- 25:15[SPEAKER_01]: But it's time for people to start to eat more.
- 25:17[SPEAKER_01]: And if people have to eat less, so be it.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_01]: Because right now, everybody's not eating.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody eats.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's eating snacks.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_01]: Everybody's low on nutrients right now.
- 25:27[SPEAKER_01]: Right, so we, I think we just have to do a better job.
- 25:30[SPEAKER_01]: Again, the Buffalo bills, when you look at the receivers on paper, is it the greatest receivers in the world?
- 25:37[SPEAKER_01]: No, absolutely not.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: But these receivers can get open.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: They can get open in my opinion more than we see.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: Then get open in the past several weeks.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_01]: And again, I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to shift that right back to coaching when Joe Brady is tough to criticize.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_01]: an offensive coordinator when he had his quarterback when MVP the season prior, right?
- 26:03[SPEAKER_01]: So I think that that is a big thing to in people's eyes.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard to say, hey, you want to fire Joe, ready?
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: We just had a quarterback with an MVP.
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: But now is like, what's the next step, right?
- 26:20[SPEAKER_01]: You have now a year of film on you.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: can Dorsey was excellent his first year as well.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_01]: Can Dorsey first year, the Buffalo bills went 13 and 3, can Dorsey's first year as an offensive coordinator.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: The second year, can Dorsey started to struggle.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_01]: The second year, can Dorsey could not
- 26:41[SPEAKER_01]: re-adjustment made on him, can Dorsey Dunn put a year's worth of film on tape for the opposition to see, and now that they got a clearer picture of what the offense the Buffalo bills are running, he failed to make the necessary adjustments, and that got him fired, is starting to tread like that with Joe Bray.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_01]: He had a lot of success the year before.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_01]: You put a lot of film on tape.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_01]: You come back this year and now you're struggling.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_01]: People want to know why we're struggling.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: He's struggling because he hasn't read just to the adjustments that was made on him.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_01]: And now we're wondering if Joe Brady can do that.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: Right, and if he can't do that, this is a bigger reason why now we need a receiver.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: We need a resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, resh, res
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that's where we add with the Buffalo bills on offense.
- 27:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I think it's up to Joe Brady now to say, hey, what can I do?
- 27:53[SPEAKER_01]: How can I be better as a play caller?
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: How can I read just to the adjustments that was made on me?
- 27:59[SPEAKER_01]: And I have to do a better job doing that.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: Let's not be naive and say, hey, we score 30 points against the Baltimore havens.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_01]: The first couple of weeks, everybody scored 30 points against the Baltimore havens.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: So I can't even give Josh Allen and can't get credit.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_01]: I can't give him a shitload of credit for that, because I've seen it for the first month.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_01]: That everybody was scoring on Baltimore.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: So if I'm going to give Buffalo credit, I give credit for them to remain status quo doing what other teams did.
- 28:27[SPEAKER_01]: But we have to elevate this all on the office inside of the board, specifically the passive game.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I think, again, that's a direct effect on coach
- 28:36[SPEAKER_00]: So, I agree with everything you said because you and me share a brain and we agree way more than we should.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's not healthy.
- 28:47[SPEAKER_00]: Let's take it one step further.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: And I know nobody wants to have this conversation because we're gearing up for chiefs week and it's week nine and it's huge deal.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: All these receivers that are here, I could say mine is collueless you care because he was drafted for Kendorsi, but all of these past catchers were brought in for Joe Brady.
- 29:07[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like concave included.
- 29:09[SPEAKER_00]: These are all Joe Brady guys.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_00]: These are all everybody eats guys.
- 29:14[SPEAKER_00]: Am I wrong?
- 29:16[SPEAKER_00]: Are any of these guys bonafide number ones that will beat you downfield consistently year in and year out?
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: No, they're not.
- 29:24[SPEAKER_00]: They're guys that will work the underneath.
- 29:27[SPEAKER_00]: Joshua Palmer can get separation, he owns a big body that you can use in the red zone.
- 29:32[SPEAKER_00]: Shakira's a slot, can cadence a slot.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: Shakira's, our Curtis Samuel is just a gadget guy, Elijah Moore is a gadget guy.
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: Why is he gonna go get Brian Thomas Jr., he's not.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to do it.
- 29:46[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to overpay and go get him.
- 29:48[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to overpay and get AJ Brown.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to do that while Joe Brady is calling plays.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to go get Jacobi Myers or one of these other guys that is a fringe wide receiver too at best on most teams unless it's an extremely bad team that has no talent.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: don't give me wrong.
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: In any typical situation, I would like Jacobi Myers on this team.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think he brings value, but we already have guys that bring value like he does.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_00]: We don't use them properly.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_00]: So when Joe Brady leaves, what is this roster going to look like next year with a bunch of everybody eats guys?
- 30:27[SPEAKER_00]: We're stuck with all these guys that are everybody eats guys and there's no bona fide number one.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_00]: What if
- 30:34[SPEAKER_00]: Brady leaves to go coach at Penn State or LSU or takes a crappy head coaching position in the NFL.
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: And we hire a guy that comes in and says, or Brandon B's going through the interview process and he's interviewing guys for the OC and they're like, who's my number one receiver?
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: You think that him saying Khalil Shakir, that's going to inspire guys to build Buffalo Bill's game plans?
- 30:58[SPEAKER_00]: Or is it going to be, well, you know, we're going to draft a guy in the first round or well, you know, we have this guy that we traded for last year that was a bona fide number one.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like it doesn't, it doesn't end with just this year.
- 31:10[SPEAKER_00]: Like I hate to think about the future, but I feel like this roster is built for Joe Brady.
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: In Joe Brady, if you go back and look at a lot of his stuff when he was with Carolina, he didn't throw the ball down field.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_00]: He just got a consistent basis.
- 31:25[SPEAKER_00]: He just didn't.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_00]: And you and me talked about this in our group chat.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: Joe Brady just, he didn't have that in his arsenal.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_00]: And for all those in the back that are going to say, well, Josh Allen throws more picks when he throws the ball down field.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Allen historically isn't one of the most accurate deep field or deep ball passers.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_00]: You know what?
- 31:43[SPEAKER_00]: When he had Brian Dayball and he had Gabe Davis and Emmanuel Sanders and Stefan Diggs, he threw the ball all over the goddamn place.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_00]: And the bills were very successful and one of shit ton of games.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_00]: What's your thoughts there?
- 31:57[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_00]: I took it way off course.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no, no, you're fine, you're fine.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: And at the end of the day, man, we just, again, it's about execution is about the level of play.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: This is year eight for Josh Schallon.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: Of course, we want to, we're, we're, I'll speak for myself and get a little antsy in a way, right?
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm not the,
- 32:23[SPEAKER_01]: spring chicken that I once was and neither is Josh Allen and I think we all want to see the buffalo bills at some point with a lumbarty trophy and Josh Allen isn't getting any younger.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: So we just want to see, you know,
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: a more consistent product on a football field offensively and hopefully it could start with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_01]: But Joe Brady's going to have to make those adjustments.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to have to make those necessary adjustments.
- 32:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Spaz is coming with tablets.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_01]: Josh Allen, offensive line, Joe Brady.
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's not actually be ready.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's not be surprised.
- 32:59[SPEAKER_01]: That's have a hot route.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_01]: That's this, this understand what's about the
- 33:05[SPEAKER_01]: you know, lost like last season.
- 33:07[SPEAKER_01]: We should be improving.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_01]: I was shocked that the Atlanta Falcons was able to blitz and be successful as they was in that Monday night game because we went through this already.
- 33:16[SPEAKER_01]: That should have been rectified since the Kansas City Chiefs game in the AFC Championship.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: So we're going to see it again.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_01]: The Patriots in it the week before the Patriots the week before.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_00]: We're just going to blitz you and you none of your guys are going to get open.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_00]: So just good luck, Josh.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like
- 33:33[SPEAKER_01]: So hopefully, hopefully we see a more fluid flowing offence tomorrow, even.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and I, you say it's a Joe Brady game.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's an Aaron Kromer game, too.
- 33:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's got to be an Aaron Kromer game.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like, what can you, what have you been practicing with these guys on the offensive line throughout the week to prepare you for shit that you're not used to seeing?
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like, are we gonna run six linemen?
- 33:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like, we did a ton last year and was super successful and it worked a lot against Kansas City.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_00]: James Cook had a good game against Kansas City last year in the regular season.
- 34:06[SPEAKER_00]: So that's another thing.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_00]: I want to bring this up.
- 34:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mentioned it to you before we came live, and I didn't tell you about these stats.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if anybody's seen these going around.
- 34:15[SPEAKER_00]: First seven games for Josh Allen, 2024, which we all know is MVP season.
- 34:21[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_00]: The bills were five and two, right?
- 34:24[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Allen's completion percentage was 63%.
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: He completed 119 passes, 1483 pass yards, 12 passing touchdowns, no interceptions.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_00]: 200 and 11 yards per game and he had three rushing touchdowns and obviously that like I said the bills were five and two and they scored 199 points through seven games last year
- 34:45[SPEAKER_00]: 2025 Buffalo Bills where we're at right now, Bills are five and two.
- 34:50[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Allen's completion percentage, 68%, so it's better than last year.
- 34:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's completed 134 passes, which is 15 more than last year.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_00]: 1560 pass yards, which is almost 80 more than last year.
- 35:03[SPEAKER_00]: 12 touchdown passes exactly the same.
- 35:05[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, he's got four more interruptions.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_00]: But he's passing for 232 yards per game, which is more than last year.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_00]: He has five rushing touchdowns, which is two more than last year, and the bills have scored 207 points as opposed to $199 last year through five games.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_00]: We had those laws in there where the Texan's game didn't look good.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_00]: He was nine for 30, and then they couldn't absolutely do anything against the Ravens.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: But the bills of scored more points than they did last year.
- 35:31[SPEAKER_00]: So this is going to be for all those in the back, saying, well, the bills are scoring points.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_00]: So why are we getting on Josh Allen?
- 35:36[SPEAKER_00]: We have James Cook, why are we getting on Josh Allen?
- 35:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's all about what we're, it's the eye test, right?
- 35:41[SPEAKER_00]: And stats can be stats.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_00]: stats can be misleading to his stats look better than last year's sure.
- 35:50[SPEAKER_00]: for the last month is not prototypical Josh Allen.
- 35:54[SPEAKER_00]: So that's why I wanted to add those in there.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_00]: So you brought up the coordinators a little bit.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go there real quick, because we went long in the tooth on the other stuff.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know if anybody saw the tweet from Kurt Warner.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm going to put this up here.
- 36:11[SPEAKER_00]: And I know a chemist seen this.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_00]: And I, whoops, that's the wrong one.
- 36:14[SPEAKER_00]: Hang on, sick.
- 36:17[SPEAKER_00]: we're all over the place now.
- 36:18[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_00]: So this is the tweet from Kurt Warner.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_00]: And he's talking about, I've mentioned many times that I won the MVP and I threw 22 interceptions.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_00]: 22.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_00]: So if you just looked at my mistakes, I should have been benched a few times.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_00]: He goes on to say 22 interceptions is what one and a half mistakes a game.
- 36:38[SPEAKER_00]: What player doesn't make at least three mistakes a game.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: The perspective is everything.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_00]: And what he's alluding to here is the fact that
- 36:47[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of Bill's fans are talking about the Brian Dayball Josh Allen.
- 36:51[SPEAKER_00]: I brought it up a few just a few minutes ago.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of people are talking about the Kendorsi Josh Allen, with all the turnovers.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: Remember the year when he threw 3N911 to open against the jets.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: And then a lot of people are talking about, well, he did do that for Joe Brady.
- 37:06[SPEAKER_00]: So you posed the question, which coordinator that he's had has been the best, I guess,
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: which one would you consider the best between Brian Deball, can Dorsey and Joe Brady?
- 37:19[SPEAKER_00]: And you could phrase that and express why you feel one way or the other, just rank all three, however you want to do it.
- 37:27[SPEAKER_01]: Man, man, that's, and I'm, you know, the person that came up the question, but there's a tough one, is definitely a tough one.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: I, I really like, see what Joe Brady has done
- 37:45[SPEAKER_01]: He changed the trajectory in the turn over department for Josh Allen, and the Buffalo Bill is as an offense, and I believe that they are a pretty damn good combination.
- 38:05[SPEAKER_01]: We have a quarterback that can make all the thrones who was a little reckless, a little
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: He's a great improviser.
- 38:17[SPEAKER_01]: And now we've paired him with a guy that is more run heavy, more conservative, and I think that combination, I think it brought out the best of both of them.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think Josh Allen being Josh Allen and his ability to improvise is what made Joe Brady's offense probably a lot, look a lot better than it actually is.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_01]: often implementing that Josh Allen take the check down, take the safe route, be conservative at times.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think that was something necessary in Josh Allen's game that he needed for his career as well.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I really like the marriage between Joel Brady and Josh Allen because now I think whether or not Joel Brady's on the Buffalo bills for a long period of time or not, Josh Allen is going to be more cautious in terms of taking care of the football.
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: With that being said, I think Brian Dable was the best offensive coordinator for Josh Allen.
- 39:26[SPEAKER_01]: There's no perfect coordinator, but what he was able to do, he held him accountable, right?
- 39:32[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't, he wasn't like, can Dorsey and Joe Brady is more like, it feels more like,
- 39:38[SPEAKER_01]: They are the coaches, but they're more boys with Josh out.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_01]: Brain-dabel was a Josh Allen's boy.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't his boy.
- 39:48[SPEAKER_01]: You messing up.
- 39:49[SPEAKER_01]: You don't want to pick.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to get in your ass.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to get in your face.
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to hold him accountable.
- 39:54[SPEAKER_01]: And I think that is what Josh Allen needed.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 39:57[SPEAKER_01]: the overall nuance of the game of the offense and my opinion with Josh Allen in terms of throwing the ball deep, throwing the ball short, just the complete game.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_01]: Was there some things that Brian DeBore could have did better?
- 40:13[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: You could have checked down more, probably could have run the ball more, could have had more identity of running the football.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: But overall, man, I really like the combination with Josh Allen and Brian DeBore.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_01]: I think that offense was the most potent, most dangerous offense.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_01]: right, this offense with the Buffalo Bills now is like, okay, they may score 30, what is going to be a lot at, you know, 7, 8, 9, 10 drive plays right where Brian Dable, he could hit you with a 8, 9, 10 play drive or he could hit you a 1, 2 or 1 or 2 hit a quarter and I think that was the best offense for the Buffalo Bills.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_01]: And I would love to get back to some of that.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I agree.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's why a lot of fans complain because the bill's off and it's kind of boring and you have a Ferrari that you're just not.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_00]: I put gas, you're not putting gas into and putting the federal of the metal, my, to me, it's Brian Deball because if you watch what Josh Allen did in the postseason against New England and Kansas City that year, that was arguably one of the best postseason performances by any quarterback ever.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_00]: And it's not a homework take, it's statistically proven.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_00]: And if you watch those games, he wasn't complete, complete control of that offense.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_00]: And I know from where he came in 2018 to one Brian
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: When Brian Dave all left, Josh Shannon was a completely different quarterback.
- 41:37[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it's not fair to an extent because of the players on the roster for Brian Dave all compared to what Joe Brady has.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like it's apples and oranges because you have stuff on digs and a Gabe Davis and a manual sanders and a cold easily and a job ground.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_00]: So, but yeah, to me, this is what Brady wanted, right?
- 41:54[SPEAKER_00]: This is kind of what Brady wanted.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_00]: Bro, don't get me started.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_00]: But I can we could talk all day about your Brady.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_00]: So let's move on.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_00]: Let's move on.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: Shall we?
- 42:04[SPEAKER_00]: Let's agree to move on.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_00]: Let's let's talk about to El Bernard because I think there was a lot of misinformation that was spread around social media this week and I feel like
- 42:22[SPEAKER_00]: Sean McDermott didn't want to play Terrell Bernard for two reasons one I don't think he was fully healthy but they didn't want to have to bring somebody up somebody else from the practice quad and two it was the Carolina Panthers and I'm pretty sure if that game was a game
- 42:40[SPEAKER_00]: He probably would have perporned in at some point, but it was out of hand early.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_00]: And a lot of the stuff going around social media is was he benched like for Shack Thompson, like trying to create all this nonsense.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_00]: Because Shack Thompson's been playing great.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: I've been saying it for two months now that he's been playing great.
- 43:00[SPEAKER_00]: It started small and then the last couple of games he's really played great now, unfortunately he's injured.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_00]: What's your thoughts on the parallel Bernardo being benched, injured, active, but inactive?
- 43:12[SPEAKER_00]: What's your what's your take on all that?
- 43:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was more of the lines.
- 43:18[SPEAKER_01]: Now has he played great this season?
- 43:20[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think so.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I think he has a flash in the pan kind of plays the suit.
- 43:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the toy in the section, certain plays like that.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_00]: Quick question for you.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_00]: What was his best season?
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: His best season was 2023. Who called plays?
- 43:35[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, carry on.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_01]: That is, and that is my point right there.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_01]: I do, you know, with Sean McDermott calling plays in 2023.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I think, and I talk about this a lot, because I think it's necessary.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think that, of course, we are going to be looking at the individual football player and we're going to be looking at,
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: you know, what we see on the football field, but I think it's always, it's always layers to conversations, right?
- 44:10[SPEAKER_01]: And I think when you add the perspective of who was calling plays,
- 44:17[SPEAKER_01]: I think it matters for for the Buffalo Bills and Terrell, but no, in 2023 when Sean McDermott was calling a place, Terrell, but no, it was all over the field.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_01]: He had a hundred and forty three combined tackles, he had nine quarter back hits, he had six and a half sacks, five passes defended, ten tackles for laws, three funbore coveries and three picks.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_01]: He had a full entire stat sheet.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: And that was because of the aggressive style of defense and play colon from Shawmy Dermit.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_01]: Let him be the guy to, to,
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: be all over the field and make these plays.
- 44:54[SPEAKER_01]: He's showcased a level of playware.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_01]: This guy can do it all.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_01]: And now the last couple of years, it seems as if, oh, it's a rubber knot.
- 45:03[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't look like the same play.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: It's a rubber knot.
- 45:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's taking a step back.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: I think a lot of that taking a step back now, this is the same scheme, right?
- 45:10[SPEAKER_01]: The Charming Derman and Bobby Babbage, it's the same four, three, cover three scheme, but the play caller is different.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: And when the play caller is different, it matters.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_01]: You have to take that into account.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to be, I'm interested to see the game tomorrow night and how the defense plays because last week, it looks like the first week where Sean McDermott, he had a heat.
- 45:37[SPEAKER_01]: He was doing one of these and he was talking to it like, oh, shit, that's it, that is it, that is it, he is calling place.
- 45:44[SPEAKER_01]: He is calling place.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see the line back up play the defensive plate tomorrow.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think obviously it's a great test with Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City coming to town.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: What is this?
- 45:54[SPEAKER_01]: Less, I will love, I'm all right.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm all right.
- 45:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm interested to see how to row but not in the line back as in the rest of the defense play tomorrow night if Sean McDermott is calling us some of these plays.
- 46:05[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see.
- 46:06[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_00]: And we could talk about the bills injuries and you know, I agree like,
- 46:12[SPEAKER_00]: We've been calling for it and you're you're thinking you've been saying it for years about shell McDermott just do what got you hired and that's called a place if you have to call the place to help this team be successful because you've seen what it looked like when you weren't calling plays to call plays there's a lot of head head coaches that call the offense just call the plays what's wrong that you are a defensive minded head coach so we'll see tomorrow
- 46:42[SPEAKER_00]: A von Miller saying he's going to be back in a month.
- 46:44[SPEAKER_00]: I don't maybe I don't know he said he said on Instagram I'll see you in about a month.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know we'll see, but he's on the IR Shack Thompson got injured in practice and he's going to be out this week.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_00]: He's already been ruled out Terran Johnson
- 47:01[SPEAKER_00]: got injured in practice.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to, he's questionable.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: So they elevated day Jackson, which leads me to believe they're going to maybe slide another corner over into Terran's spot because Cam Luis is a freaking liability trying to go up against Travis Kelsey.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_00]: Let me tell you right now.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Palmer's out and Dick one Jones is out.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_00]: So what's who's
- 47:26[SPEAKER_00]: Matt Milano is fully healthy.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_00]: He's playing this week.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: He was taken off the injury report Friday.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_00]: There's no, there's no designation.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: Terrible Bernard was ready to go last week.
- 47:38[SPEAKER_00]: There was no injuries.
- 47:39[SPEAKER_00]: No hiccups this week.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_00]: He's ready to go.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_00]: So Dalton can Kate.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's ready to go.
- 47:44[SPEAKER_00]: So it looks like
- 47:47[SPEAKER_00]: We get some, we take some away.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: We get some, we take some away.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_00]: It's just, you mentioned the linebackers, and I feel like this would have been a great game for Shaq Thompson, even with having met Milano be a hundred percent.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_00]: Because if he's not fully a hundred percent, like are we getting 75% met Milano that might make some mistakes in past coverage that might hit some wrong holes or get misled
- 48:18[SPEAKER_00]: stuff like that.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_00]: What's your thoughts on the Bill's injury report, and then we'll start diving into the actual previews and predictions for the game?
- 48:26[SPEAKER_01]: Like you said, you give it, and you take it for a way, right?
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's, you know, hopefully we can reach a point at some point at the most important part of the season where we can have most of our our players playing this game.
- 48:41[SPEAKER_01]: Again, you've got to have that mentality up next man up materially, I spoke about the line backers and seeing how they play.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: Now, this game, one thing about the Kansas City Chiefs, they never possess a threatening running game to the bills.
- 48:58[SPEAKER_01]: And that's out.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: Pachek was out and now Korean, Korean, it's still a solid guy.
- 49:02[SPEAKER_01]: He'd be he'd be
- 49:06[SPEAKER_01]: He's not the speedster.
- 49:08[SPEAKER_01]: He's not the guy he once was when he first came into league.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm hoping and expecting the Buffalo bills, the bottle up that Russian attack, it's more about.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: uh, the passing game for the Buffalo Bills is more about to rob a Nard and, and, and, and, and uh, Matt Malano in the past lane and passing coverage with, with their receivers with machine rice and, and, and Xavier worthy and, and the, and the tight end.
- 49:33[SPEAKER_01]: So that's that's what more of what I'm looking to see, but as far as the injuries at Oliver, we hope to have him back or I hope he can come back sooner rather than later, but that sooner to me is probably division around
- 49:49[SPEAKER_01]: You know, so I don't know, I know he's talk about a month, but let's be realistic here.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_01]: We've got bicep injury, torn bicep.
- 49:56[SPEAKER_01]: That's not nothing.
- 49:57[SPEAKER_01]: It's a sniff at because you're a difference alignment.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be using that bicep each and every play on engagement.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm concerned, I'm concerned with that over a long term, honestly, because bicep injury for a guy who uses his arms on, like you said on every snap for leverage, and that's part of what he is, because he's not the biggest defensive tackle.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm concerned, I'm not saying he won't come back from it.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_00]: He's a great athlete, but it's concerned.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_00]: And it's better than I guess having a lower body injury using your base.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see, but let's get into our bills, chiefs, actual preview.
- 50:36[SPEAKER_00]: the stuff going around about how the bills went in the regular season, but it doesn't mean shit because they can't do it in the postseason.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_00]: Josh Allen's four and five against Patrick Mahomes.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_00]: Patrick Mahomes is now the MVP front runner, Josh Allen's second.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_00]: So we know all of that, right?
- 50:52[SPEAKER_00]: We know all the story tales.
- 50:54[SPEAKER_00]: So I feel like this can go one of two ways and hear me out.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: This could be where Sean McDermott calls plays.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: They're they're over aggressive in Patrick Mahomes just just rips him apart in the passing game.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_00]: He just picks apart whatever the bills were trying to do because of the inexperienced on the back end with Cole Bishop, Maxwell Hairsten, things like that.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_00]: Or James Cook's gonna run them all 30 times.
- 51:23[SPEAKER_00]: And he's going to be very successful.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_00]: Now I understand the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think third or fourth against the run defensively, but it's not James Cook and it's not the Buffalo Bill's offensive line that they've been playing every week.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: Let's be real.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, it was the Carolina Panthers, but the Carolina Panthers were really good against the run.
- 51:40[SPEAKER_00]: So what's your initial,
- 51:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think things have changed from when we originally had this circle on our calendar to where we've gotten to now, basically because of the last, we've had one bills win in the last month because of the two losses in the buy, so we're kind of like, which bills team are we getting, are we getting the week one team, are we getting, like, what are we getting?
- 52:01[SPEAKER_00]: So what's your initial thoughts here?
- 52:03[SPEAKER_00]: Just initial,
- 52:05[SPEAKER_00]: What do you, when you go to sleep tonight, what are you gonna think about as far as this, this bill's game?
- 52:12[SPEAKER_00]: Does it scare you?
- 52:13[SPEAKER_00]: Does it concern you?
- 52:14[SPEAKER_00]: Are you positive?
- 52:16[SPEAKER_00]: What's your outlook, man?
- 52:17[SPEAKER_01]: Joe Brady, getting right, making the necessary adjustments and Sean McDermott calling in place.
- 52:24[SPEAKER_01]: That's what I'm holding out, hopeful, and I have confidence in if McDermott is not calling in place and Joe Brady is not making that adjustment.
- 52:32[SPEAKER_01]: I think I don't think it blows well for the Buffalo Bills, but I think those two things,
- 52:36[SPEAKER_01]: are actually going to happen.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: So because of that, I'm, once again, I'm excited to see how the Buffalo Bills in this season where things don't feel, it doesn't feel, if it just feels funny, it's like a weird feeling, like something in the air, it doesn't, it doesn't seem right, like the years pass.
- 52:57[SPEAKER_01]: But I'm definitely excited to see how they perform, knowing that we have that feeling for the Buffalo Bills.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_01]: At the same time, I do have some concerns.
- 53:09[SPEAKER_01]: I spoke about the running game for Kansas City Chiefs.
- 53:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not necessarily being concerned about that, but I'm concerned about obviously it's always the concern when you're facing Patrick Mahomes, but especially concerned when you have to face Patrick Mahomes and young guys on the defensive side have to play.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_01]: We spoke about Taran Johnson and his groin.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_01]: I remember what's in the playoffs.
- 53:31[SPEAKER_01]: When Taran Johnson was heard against the Kansas City, and we didn't have a slot in date just a patch from a home just aided up.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_01]: right, right?
- 53:39[SPEAKER_01]: And so, so that's what I'm worried about.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_01]: I like Jordan Hancock.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_01]: You have to get on the field and have to get explained experience, but this is the type of game where a rookie, a late-round pick facing Patrick Mahomes.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_01]: He's a savvy experience veteran that is smart enough to take advantage of the in-experiences of young players.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_01]: So that's what I'm most concerned about and that's what I want to see into Mars game.
- 54:08[SPEAKER_01]: Can our young players step up and play a good game and hold down the foot for the guys that's injured and contain Patrick Mahomes?
- 54:18[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I agree with you.
- 54:21[SPEAKER_00]: I I it's this NFL season has been just up and down roller coaster week to week teams beating teams that they shouldn't be beating teams Looking really good and then playing bad teams and losing like it's been all over the place and I think until we hit probably like we 12 week 13 we will know what
- 54:40[SPEAKER_00]: all these teams are like the identities will come out like we don't know the bills don't have an identity right so we can't say tomorrow we feel confident that the defense is going to play good because they've played good maybe for one or two games this year we don't feel confident that the bills offense is going to look good minus the run game like if they need to pass is it going to be consistent enough to beat the
- 55:06[SPEAKER_00]: nice to watch and see not only what the bills did coming off the by week, but if there's been adjustments made to put together a game plan both offensively and defensively to beat the Kansas city chiefs because if you knock them down to five and four, you're six and two, you ultimately have a three game and two game advantage on them in the conference, which at this point we should just be stacking wins.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_00]: However, we can get them no matter what.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_00]: So I think to me, I want to see
- 55:36[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see what this passing game looks like.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see what Joe Brady has done, like you said way earlier in the show.
- 55:43[SPEAKER_00]: What have you done to scheme guys open?
- 55:46[SPEAKER_00]: Because you don't have Joshua Palmer.
- 55:49[SPEAKER_00]: You have King K coming off in injury and he was on a limited snap count last week.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_00]: So what are you doing?
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: Stop throwing three hard passes to take a little shake here, hoping that he breaks one for a long run.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_00]: Stop throwing back shoulder, sideline passes to key on Coleman and use him correctly.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_00]: throw passes to Elijah Moore and Curtis Samu.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_00]: Like run, run, run.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_01]: I would be honest with you, man, I would start.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_01]: Those those will be my start, receive his tomorrow.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_01]: I would only out on the outside.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_00]: I would just want Curtis Samu.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: Elijah Moore and Curtis Samu.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not mad at it because nobody's seen that.
- 56:25[SPEAKER_00]: And neither are the chiefs.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_00]: So like maybe maybe you confuse him for a little bit.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I know Spagged is a genius,
- 56:33[SPEAKER_00]: have them run some deep routes even if Josh throws one and he airmails it like just know that he's looking down field and then that ultimately opens up everything underneath not just the intermediate step of the run games as well too and I want to see some play action pass.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_00]: Can we get receivers running across the field with Josh rolling out and he just hits him and stride.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_00]: What happened to that?
- 56:56[SPEAKER_00]: One level guy here, one level guy underneath, running towards the sideline, Josh's is hitting a guy in the strike.
- 57:03[SPEAKER_00]: We haven't done any of that.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like this season.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_00]: So, okay, players, players, players to watch for you for tomorrow, bills, offense defense, what you got.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: uh... players to watch for the buffalo bills are i think i i think this is the one this let's start with the offence first i think it's it's about the keycugs are one player to watch is uh... let's go let's go let's go a position group the offensive line
- 57:34[SPEAKER_01]: Chris Jones has been playing his best football lately, but he gets up in these type of games.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_01]: We have the contained Chris Jones.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_01]: We can't let Chris Jones ruin the game, wreck the game, sack joshala and make joshala and fumble.
- 57:47[SPEAKER_01]: We can't have those type of those type of miscuse for the Buffalo Bills lately.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: We've been turning the ball over some.
- 57:54[SPEAKER_01]: more than we are accustomed to doing the last couple of years, offensive line has gave up more sex this year than last year.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_01]: Let's get back to protecting Josh Allen and don't we have to do necessary to stay ahead of the sticks.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm looking at the offensive line first and foremost, let's let's contain that Kansas City defensive front, I think the Kansas City Chiefs once again.
- 58:17[SPEAKER_01]: and they start to play well now on the offensive side of the ball, but in the beginning, I think that the defense has definitely carried them.
- 58:24[SPEAKER_01]: Last couple of years, you can make an argument that the Kansas City defense has been just as good, if not better, then they are off and so let's keep them at Baye starting with the offensive line tomorrow and containing Chris Jones and the rest of that Kansas City defense affront.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_00]: I like it.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to say that the one that probably everybody's would say, but Josh Allen.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_00]: I need to see week one Josh Allen.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_00]: It's been too long to where we've seen him take over a game.
- 58:49[SPEAKER_00]: Now, we don't want him doing that every week, obviously.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_00]: He has helped now with James Cook, who was arguably becoming a top three running back, but I want to see him being command to my own.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever that looks like, adjusting plays at the line, using motion, getting the right reads, the right pass is out, whatever it is.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_00]: I still feel, after what we said about the wide receivers,
- 59:12[SPEAKER_00]: I still feel like when you have Josh Allen, you can still be extremely successful.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_00]: If you scheme the plays right, and Josh is on his game, that's what we need to see tomorrow.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_00]: Because next week, what we got the dolphins.
- 59:28[SPEAKER_00]: So get this big win, get an emotional high for this week.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_00]: The offense is back, Josh looks good.
- 59:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't give a shit, if I'm being honest, I don't care about the MVP conversation.
- 59:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't care about any of that stuff.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_00]: I just wanted to see Josh be efficient, and that means the team's being successful and often.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_00]: So dial up stuff that is easy for him.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_00]: first and foremost.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_00]: Design runs against the chiefs.
- 59:52[SPEAKER_00]: They do it every year.
- 59:53[SPEAKER_00]: Do it again.
- 59:54[SPEAKER_00]: Like let him get some sweeps and get hit, get in the game, get shake the jitters off, whatever.
- 1:00:00[SPEAKER_00]: I need to see Josh Allen, like I don't want to say beast mode because that's cliche, but I want to see Josh Allen go Josh Allen.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_00]: and do Josh Allen things tomorrow.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying he's got to throw for 350 and five touchdowns, but I want to see the nice touch on passes.
- 1:00:16[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see him in control of the offense and making smart decisions.
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I want to see.
- 1:00:21[SPEAKER_00]: So what about, what about defensively?
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_00]: You got a guy that you think needs to step up for the bills tomorrow?
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh man, I know that's a loaded question.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, and it's fine, it's fine.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_01]: One guy that has to step up tomorrow.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_01]: Maxwell Harrison, I think Maxwell Harrison is a guy that obviously we needed our first round pick.
- 1:00:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think he showed some promise last week.
- 1:00:54[SPEAKER_01]: He wasn't, he didn't look like he didn't belong.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_01]: Right, he got his he got some physicality in there now granted.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_01]: There's not gonna be too much guys He's gonna be tackling five eight hundred and seventy pounds like Joe Juan Jr. was, but I Like the aggressiveness and the tenacious Tenacity that I saw from from Maxwell Harrison and
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're going to need that tomorrow.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_01]: I just want to see him play like he belongs.
- 1:01:25[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see him and his courage ability on display.
- 1:01:28[SPEAKER_01]: I want to see his speed on display and hopefully
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_01]: You know, we can start getting some some some some good play from our our first round pick because we need we need our core players.
- 1:01:39[SPEAKER_01]: We need our draft picks.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_01]: A lot of people have been talking about Brandon being in his draft picks and not being too particularly thrilled with what we have drafted last couple of years.
- 1:01:48[SPEAKER_01]: We need Maxwell Harrison to be a guy and the guy and hopefully he can he could start showing that rampant it up tomorrow.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm looking at Maxwell Harrison.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_00]: I like it.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I do want to see Michael Hoyt.
- 1:02:00[SPEAKER_00]: I love that comment.
- 1:02:01[SPEAKER_00]: I want to see him.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_00]: He's not my guy.
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_00]: My guys, we talked about him already, Toro Bernard.
- 1:02:06[SPEAKER_00]: Show me something.
- 1:02:07[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I've said this three on three or four different shows show me something.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_00]: Please, like you got paid this off season after
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_00]: We all questioned why you were chosen to be the air apparent to remain admins.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_00]: And then you proved us all wrong.
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_00]: And you played exceptional in 2023.
- 1:02:25[SPEAKER_00]: And then last year, you played pretty good.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_00]: And this year, I haven't seen it.
- 1:02:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_00]: I understand, maybe you've been a little dinged up.
- 1:02:35[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard to play in without your running, mate, Matt, and Alano.
- 1:02:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi yaddi y
- 1:02:57[SPEAKER_00]: I do agree with you on Maxwell Harrison, how much of an increase in snaps is he going to get over what he got.
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_00]: I think he played 30 snaps last week and I think only 12 of those were past snaps.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I want to see more and obviously everybody's going to talk about Maxwell Harrison versus Xavier Worley and the whole speed of speed match up and stuff like that.
- 1:03:17[SPEAKER_00]: So it's going to be
- 1:03:21[SPEAKER_00]: What are the bills keys to the game on offense defense however you want to do it you could do offense I can do defense twice first or whatever you want to do or you can do both whatever you want Okay, our name a key.
- 1:03:34[SPEAKER_01]: I mean I name a key whether that's offense or defense and you named the opposite Okay perfect fair enough perfect all right stop right right stop Ray Rice.
- 1:03:44[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yes, I'm not very nice ratio rice
- 1:03:48[SPEAKER_01]: but she writes he got to contain that kid that kid is the number one option for the Kansas City chiefs he lines up in a slot they they pepper him the ball a lot they they what they look to get him the ball and
- 1:04:00[SPEAKER_01]: their their offense ever since he's come back from his six games suspension has went up another level has went up another notch.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_01]: I think he is the primary weapon super seed in the Travis Kelsey in the Kansas City cheese offense and I think it starts with him.
- 1:04:17[SPEAKER_01]: So that's why I was I was a little bummed out with with Taran Johnson and that growing coming up and
- 1:04:24[SPEAKER_01]: you know, Jordan Hancock is, you know, I like, I like Jordan Hancock, I like him, Lewis, but those are not my ideal guys that I would want facing over she rights.
- 1:04:35[SPEAKER_01]: So though that guy, this find a way, find a way to contain him and not let him wreck the game.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_00]: Fun fact, the chiefs are one in three when they score 18 points
- 1:04:53[SPEAKER_00]: team score one at 18 points.
- 1:04:56[SPEAKER_00]: I forget the stats.
- 1:04:57[SPEAKER_00]: I've seen it though.
- 1:04:58[SPEAKER_00]: I don't sure.
- 1:04:59[SPEAKER_00]: I screwed it up.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_00]: I lost it.
- 1:05:02[SPEAKER_00]: Either way.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_00]: So to me, I'm concerned with Travis Kelsey.
- 1:05:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I do kind of want to see, like you said now, I'll go back, I'll go to the offensive side here in a second, I'm concerned about Travis Kelsey.
- 1:05:18[SPEAKER_00]: He always seems to have big games against the bills and without Terren Johnson, that's like you said, that's what you're experiencing.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_00]: So we got to have to roll the guard and met Melano.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_00]: So offensively, show me something key on Coleman, something.
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_00]: please.
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_00]: Joshua, Joshua Palmer's not there in Gabe Davis's waiting to take your snaps.
- 1:05:42[SPEAKER_00]: Don't force feed Kian.
- 1:05:43[SPEAKER_00]: Let him do what he does.
- 1:05:45[SPEAKER_00]: Do it where he's in the red zone.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_00]: Do it when it makes sense.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_00]: Don't.
- 1:05:50[SPEAKER_00]: don't force him these sideline routes.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_00]: And when when I see him going up for a pass and he's getting pumped by a five foot nine corner like it doesn't make any sense to me.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_00]: So I want to see I want to see Keon get some easy targets maybe that helps early and get him going.
- 1:06:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know.
- 1:06:11[SPEAKER_00]: I think the key the key to the game for me is like I said earlier is Josh Allen
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_00]: I said that earlier, so I mean, I don't want to piggyback on that too much, but James Cook, like he's arguably becoming the second best, if not the first best running back in the NFL.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_00]: It's arguable behind Jonathan Taylor.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_00]: So what's your thoughts?
- 1:06:36[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have any other thoughts off-ends defense, players to watch, stuff like that, and then we'll get into bowl predictions?
- 1:06:48[SPEAKER_01]: We got to get the bullet of King Cade, man.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_01]: We got to find my opinion, King Cade.
- 1:06:53[SPEAKER_01]: I would, I would big three besides Josh Allen is Cook, King Cade, Shikir.
- 1:06:59[SPEAKER_01]: Those are the guys we should be featuring on offense and trying to get the boards on offense and then let everything else open up after that Let's run the ball keep on and keep our identity run the ball run some play actions out after that It was a great.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_01]: That was a great deep pass to Joshua Palmer in the beginning of the game, but again, it was the beginning of the game.
- 1:07:19[SPEAKER_01]: It was scripted
- 1:07:20[SPEAKER_01]: right, I gave him credit for executing it, but that's that's something that I would love to see throughout the course of the game, right, run the play action, I have some apps of success, even the screen game, let's utilize our running backs a little bit, man.
- 1:07:36[SPEAKER_01]: I've seen a statistic earlier today that
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_01]: Kyle used check the full bat from the San Francisco 49 and has is it was it more receiving rods or more receptions than James Cougars the third I think it's more target.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's absurd.
- 1:07:51[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's being more productive than James Cougars getting the passing game That is absurd regardless that is absurd to me.
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_01]: So yes, I would love to feature our running bags
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_00]: Johnson as well right where's you Johnson we saw them on a two year five being dollar contract is like you know he's he's he's not he's not existed this year you know I said on Tuesday or Monday when I was on with Peter DBS he I said maybe this is when they start doing that shit because we didn't see any of that up until the lines game right we didn't see them just throw in the ball over the field to tie Johnson right we didn't see it up
- 1:08:31[SPEAKER_00]: I said where is all this stuff and I may be Brady comes out and says well here it all is here it is here's all my bag right here because you know we've been told they're not showing shit Josh even said this week that they have not been playing with the full deck of cards or whatever however you phrased it how do you feel about that you think do you think do you say not play this is maybe I feel about saving that if the
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_00]: If Connor McGuvern said it a month ago, I didn't believe it.
- 1:08:58[SPEAKER_00]: If Joe Brady said it a month ago, I really didn't believe it.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_00]: If Josh Allen says we haven't shown our true offense yet, I think I believe it.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_00]: But then again, maybe he's full of shit too.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_00]: But if they come out on the first drive and throw a bubble screen, a little shaker, and it gets one yard, and then the next pass is a two yard screen on the other side of Dalton, and Kate, I'm going to be pissed off.
- 1:09:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying it right now show me something like you said the first drive is scripted that should be being bang bang bang boom boom boom down the field That's what it should be because the bill's offense should be that good So
- 1:09:37[SPEAKER_01]: I miss Kalishik here going in motion across the line of scrimmage, then coming back behind the running back and making it and doing that screen.
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_01]: I miss that play, you know, so hopefully, hopefully we see some, we see some things that we saw last year and maybe you are saving grace and saving some plays, we'll see.
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_01]: But I think I think we touched on on all of it.
- 1:10:03[SPEAKER_00]: You got, you got a bold prediction?
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_00]: I got one of my three right last week.
- 1:10:08[SPEAKER_00]: I said, Michael, I would have a sack.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_00]: So I wanted three.
- 1:10:11[SPEAKER_00]: You got one, let's just do one this week.
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 1:10:14[SPEAKER_01]: both prediction, not score prediction, but just a bold prediction or offensively or defensively, Maxwell Harrison gets his pick against Patrick Mahomes.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_00]: I like it, and Maxwell Harrison picked this week as much as he caught heat for saying, even though he was honest, he said, I want, I'm going to enjoy the opportunity to be able, he didn't say I'm going to love picking him off, so I like that one.
- 1:10:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if this is a bold prediction or not, but I think that Jackson Hawes is going to have
- 1:10:44[SPEAKER_00]: in this game.
- 1:10:46[SPEAKER_00]: Just because it doesn't make any sense.
- 1:10:47[SPEAKER_00]: Then I feel like he's a guy they targeted against Baltimore, he's a guy he got a touch on catch against the dolphins.
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like I just, I feel like Josh trusts him and in in
- 1:10:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of like payback for all the dirty shit that he does, you know, throughout the course of the game, like he's, and I feel like he's not respected by teams defenses for running routes, and that's why he's open like it's weird.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_00]: So it's a weird thing, but I feel like he's he's going to have a touchdown reception instead of like knocks working Cade tight end wise.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_00]: So three two like it three two blue jays top of the six and the Dodgers have a guy on first and second with two out.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it was 3-1 a charming comeback is gonna be another 15 is going to be a bomb right I'm gonna go I'm about to go cut that one should be should be find a rest of the way How about I don't want to do game predictions anymore?
- 1:11:36[SPEAKER_00]: I like it please.
- 1:11:37[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want I don't want to do it anymore.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_00]: I like because it's just ridiculous like I'm not trying to predict scores And I've been wrong more than I haven't right so you want to take us out of here for all the lovely people that are still watching us
- 1:11:49[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, um, question.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_01]: How you, uh, I know we want air.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_01]: Is he tomorrow?
- 1:11:55[SPEAKER_01]: 7 p.m. How's that?
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, we're going to have to figure that out.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_01]: We figured out.
- 1:11:59[SPEAKER_01]: We're figuring it out.
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_00]: Absolutely.
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see who we want to do.
- 1:12:01[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
