- 0:01Speaker 1: What did do y'all? We back again another installments of
- 0:07Speaker 1: the grounded show some light back again. Man, looks like
- 0:16Speaker 1: a lot of people been locked into this Lebron thing.
- 0:20Speaker 1: It's it's still been continuing the little saga, especially carrying
- 0:23Speaker 1: into the Lakers and kind of like their playoff chances
- 0:26Speaker 1: and stuff like that.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Anyone of the Pat McAfee show.
- 0:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and then actually responded, Yeah.
- 0:31Speaker 2: He did his big one on there, Steven. That's something
- 0:34Speaker 2: that's something that Lebron has never done. He's more been
- 0:37Speaker 2: a off the court, a more humble approached guy. But
- 0:42Speaker 2: he went on there like a heel like that. That was
- 0:44Speaker 2: his heel turn. He went on there and just spit
- 0:47Speaker 2: everything he was feeling about everybody. I think the Pat
- 0:50Speaker 2: McAfee show is a kind of outlet where you want
- 0:52Speaker 2: to do that because they keep it real on there.
- 0:54Speaker 2: For sure, I think he the way he did it
- 0:57Speaker 2: was good. I think it's a little lot of character
- 1:00Speaker 2: for him, but I mean I enjoyed it.
- 1:02Speaker 1: I think it's also it's also this thing now where
- 1:09Speaker 1: I feel like he like kind of like Lebron said
- 1:11Speaker 1: it in the clip, he's seen Stephen a kind of
- 1:14Speaker 1: going on his little media run about the situation, and
- 1:18Speaker 1: he kind of wanted to just give his side of
- 1:20Speaker 1: the story really so like nobody could run with or
- 1:23Speaker 1: speculate or basically to like take the air out of
- 1:26Speaker 1: that news cycle, because after that quickly shifted to like
- 1:29Speaker 1: the playoff push, you know what I mean. And speaking
- 1:32Speaker 1: of the playoff push, man, we were actually gonna do
- 1:34Speaker 1: the music. But let's get into this. Let's get into this.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Sports is that two or three games left in the season,
- 1:40Speaker 2: a couple of.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Games left in the regular season, three games for most teams,
- 1:44Speaker 1: and today the day that we're recording it, and we'll
- 1:48Speaker 1: actually drop this probably tomorrow, just to keep it relevant
- 1:51Speaker 1: to what's going on in the NBA. But dog the
- 1:55Speaker 1: shocking news man, Mike Malone fired. He's the head coach
- 2:00Speaker 1: of the Nuggets. You know, they are a couple of
- 2:02Speaker 1: games out of the playoffs. I mean, they're in the playoffs.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I'm saying they are a couple of games away from
- 2:06Speaker 1: the playoffs. So it's kind of crazy.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Yeah, he lets the prevalent team though.
- 2:10Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, I mean he led them to a title
- 2:12Speaker 1: a year ago. I mean they didn't win last year,
- 2:14Speaker 1: they won the year before, and it's just insane. How
- 2:17Speaker 1: many head coaches that won titles have been getting fired
- 2:20Speaker 1: in the NBA. Bro I think that I saw a
- 2:22Speaker 1: graphic going back to I think twenty nineteen, every coach
- 2:26Speaker 1: that has won a title has been fired except for
- 2:28Speaker 1: Steve Kerr. Damn, every single coach that has won the title,
- 2:32Speaker 1: Steve Kerr and Joe Mizzulah for the Celtics because they
- 2:39Speaker 1: just want to still their coach. So I mean, they're
- 2:42Speaker 1: the only coaches that haven't got fired that have won
- 2:44Speaker 1: the title since like twenty nineteen or something like that.
- 2:46Speaker 2: So what do you think it is?
- 2:47Speaker 1: Like?
- 2:47Speaker 2: Why are these why are so successful coaches getting fired
- 2:51Speaker 2: at this point?
- 2:52Speaker 1: So one of the main reasons they were saying that
- 2:54Speaker 1: Mike Malone got fired was they say he lost the
- 2:57Speaker 1: locker room. Whether it be they got tired of his message,
- 3:00Speaker 1: maybe he wasn't relating to this group of players or something,
- 3:04Speaker 1: but something wasn't working there, And I mean it's a
- 3:08Speaker 1: crazy move. They informed the GM that they weren't gonna
- 3:11Speaker 1: like rehire him or extend him past his contract, so
- 3:15Speaker 1: he didn't necessarily get fired, but he's basically not going
- 3:19Speaker 1: to be there.
- 3:20Speaker 2: So how important are the coaches now to these winning teams,
- 3:23Speaker 2: if they're just getting released like that.
- 3:25Speaker 1: I think it's it's partly not just the importance of
- 3:30Speaker 1: the coach, but now there's certain players that are kind
- 3:34Speaker 1: of bigger than the franchise, and I think in Denver,
- 3:39Speaker 1: Jokic is that guy. So to me, honestly, bro like
- 3:44Speaker 1: it had it had to be something with Jokic, yeah,
- 3:47Speaker 1: you know what I mean, like something about and not
- 3:49Speaker 1: even specifically that he had an issue with Jokic, but
- 3:52Speaker 1: the people up top maybe saw like, man, we kind
- 3:54Speaker 1: of flounder and we should be better with the guy
- 3:57Speaker 1: that we got on this team. Somebody, somebody could be
- 4:00Speaker 1: in here doing better than what this guy doing. I
- 4:03Speaker 1: don't know. I feel like they've been playing well as
- 4:08Speaker 1: well as they can with the type of players that
- 4:10Speaker 1: they have that are struggling, Like Michael Porter Junior hasn't
- 4:13Speaker 1: been really good lately. What's his name, Aaron Gordon hasn't
- 4:18Speaker 1: been that good lately. I mean he's a little older
- 4:20Speaker 1: as well, So I think it's also them asking a
- 4:23Speaker 1: lot of him in lately, just later stages of his career,
- 4:26Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying.
- 4:28Speaker 2: And he's still balling, He's still putting up MVP numbers.
- 4:31Speaker 1: Yeah, Yoki is still doing his thing. Man Murray's been
- 4:35Speaker 1: like kind of like streaky, but he's definitely been coming
- 4:38Speaker 1: to form lately. And I mean I see them as
- 4:41Speaker 1: a threat for sure for the title. I see. I
- 4:44Speaker 1: mean when you look at the West right now, like
- 4:47Speaker 1: the way that the playoff race is is insane. Any
- 4:51Speaker 1: team could kind of fluctuate between that, like tu the
- 4:55Speaker 1: two to eight range really right now, like and then
- 4:57Speaker 1: even like Minnesota's been on like a little skid, but
- 5:01Speaker 1: they've beaten most of the teams that are in there,
- 5:05Speaker 1: so they own the tiebreaker basically, so they kind of
- 5:08Speaker 1: hold their fate in their hands. But it's kind of
- 5:12Speaker 1: crazy to even think about the way people have been
- 5:14Speaker 1: talking about the Lakers and all the little drama around
- 5:17Speaker 1: their season and everything, and how sneakily good they've been playing,
- 5:20Speaker 1: Like they just out of first place, like by a couple.
- 5:23Speaker 2: Yeah, they're balling. They got and they got role players
- 5:26Speaker 2: and they don't have like.
- 5:27Speaker 1: I'm sorry, they're just out of second place.
- 5:29Speaker 2: They don't have like the egotistical role players. They got
- 5:32Speaker 2: dudes who just want a ball. And I think that
- 5:34Speaker 2: that that is the most important factor of a team
- 5:37Speaker 2: like that because that carries on into the playoffs as
- 5:41Speaker 2: I'm here to do my job, not to shine in
- 5:43Speaker 2: the playoffs, you know what I mean, Like just win games,
- 5:47Speaker 2: be a team player, be a role player, and I
- 5:49Speaker 2: just try to make a name for myself so I
- 5:51Speaker 2: can get paid and get better contracts or anything like that.
- 5:54Speaker 2: That is what establishes a good team versus a team
- 5:58Speaker 2: with all stars.
- 6:00Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure. I mean they're a team and something
- 6:03Speaker 1: that they lost with Anthony Davis, they kind of gained
- 6:08Speaker 1: with just the pure talent they have Now. It's like
- 6:11Speaker 1: they kind of all banded together and said, we're gonna
- 6:14Speaker 1: figure this out. We got too much talent on this
- 6:16Speaker 1: team to not figure it out, you know what I mean.
- 6:19Speaker 1: And I feel like, man, I don't know, Man, the
- 6:21Speaker 1: Lakers are a kind of scary team. I would say,
- 6:25Speaker 1: if you're in the playoff seeding as another Western Conference team,
- 6:30Speaker 1: kind of looking at the matchups.
- 6:32Speaker 2: I think I think the Lakers are really back to
- 6:35Speaker 2: being the showtime Lakers. Like they're really bringing back to
- 6:38Speaker 2: the era. Like they're not just winning games, they're making
- 6:41Speaker 2: crazy plays. Like Austin Reeves the Lobs, he throws to Lebron,
- 6:47Speaker 2: like there's the fancy moves they made. Luca he was
- 6:50Speaker 2: like going up for a jump shot and he threw
- 6:52Speaker 2: the ball back to get an assist for the three.
- 6:55Speaker 2: Like they are not just winning, they're putting on a show.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Like I really feel the showtime Lakers kind of ambiance
- 7:03Speaker 2: is coming back and that is igniting a fire in
- 7:06Speaker 2: them that makes them want to win, and they're going
- 7:09Speaker 2: to win. They're gonna win a lot of games and
- 7:11Speaker 2: I think they're going to have a good run in
- 7:13Speaker 2: the playoffs.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Yeah, And that's kind of like what I was alluding
- 7:16Speaker 1: to as far as like seeing them in the playoffs
- 7:19Speaker 1: because it's like that's a team with Lebron and Luca.
- 7:22Speaker 2: Bro, That's what I'm saying.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You got Luca leading the charges like the young lion,
- 7:27Speaker 1: and then like the king of the tribe is in
- 7:29Speaker 1: the back, you know what I'm saying, Like kind of
- 7:31Speaker 1: like on reserve, Like this literally was what was the
- 7:36Speaker 1: vision for Lebron when he first came to the Lakers,
- 7:38Speaker 1: if you remember back and when he first won the
- 7:41Speaker 1: ball Lakers, it was kind of like this thing of
- 7:43Speaker 1: like even before that, before they found success, the whole
- 7:45Speaker 1: idea was like putting these young players around Lebron that
- 7:49Speaker 1: could playmake so that he can kind of choose his
- 7:52Speaker 1: spots and reserve his energy. But he ended up still
- 7:55Speaker 1: being such a big part of the team and being
- 7:58Speaker 1: the driving force when realistically he shouldn't have been doing
- 8:02Speaker 1: that in those later stages of his career. He was
- 8:05Speaker 1: just defying in his forty Yeah, defying science basically, bro
- 8:09Speaker 1: in his forties. But now he can pick his spots.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Where like, they got a big win over OKC, and
- 8:14Speaker 1: I think he only scored like nineteen points. Bro, you
- 8:17Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. Like that, you can't imagine a
- 8:20Speaker 1: game where they beat the number one seed late in
- 8:22Speaker 1: a playoff push and Lebron got nineteen points. You're gonna
- 8:25Speaker 1: be like, where did those other points come from? But
- 8:27Speaker 1: Austin Reeves been hooping, obviously, they got Luca Aarchi. Mura's
- 8:31Speaker 1: been playing good, gave Vincent been playing good off the bench.
- 8:33Speaker 1: I mean, they got some nice pieces, man, I'm liking them.
- 8:37Speaker 1: I'm liking the Clippers, I'm liking the Timberwolves. But I
- 8:44Speaker 1: need to see what version of Randal we get in
- 8:47Speaker 1: in the playoffs, and then I'll kind of know, I
- 8:50Speaker 1: definitely like them better with Randall than I did with Kat,
- 8:53Speaker 1: just because I didn't like Kat in the playoffs. I
- 8:56Speaker 1: felt like played a little soft people that live and
- 8:59Speaker 1: die about a three, especially at that size. In the playoffs, Bro,
- 9:02Speaker 1: they usually don't succeed.
- 9:03Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that that's what D'Antoni not. That Tony
- 9:09Speaker 2: tips control on the Knicks when he came over, made
- 9:12Speaker 2: him be more of a big man. He still lets
- 9:15Speaker 2: them shoot, he still lets him get them threes off,
- 9:17Speaker 2: but he's actually playing the big man role on the Knicks,
- 9:20Speaker 2: which is what was needed.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Yeah, he's doing what we envisioned that he could do
- 9:24Speaker 1: on the Knicks as far as like exactly what you're saying,
- 9:27Speaker 1: Like he's actually playing that role of Like, Bro, you're
- 9:31Speaker 1: seven foot dog, like you know, get in there, make
- 9:34Speaker 1: stuff happen. Yeah, you got the shot, but use the
- 9:36Speaker 1: shot as like a secondary thing, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 9:39Speaker 1: you got to open up your game with the inside game.
- 9:41Speaker 1: And it's the thing about basketball, bro, Like no matter
- 9:45Speaker 1: how much the game changes, like throughout the years, or
- 9:49Speaker 1: like the way the regular season is, when the playoffs come,
- 9:52Speaker 1: the game slowed down not so much in the beginning rounds,
- 9:56Speaker 1: but as you get in the later rounds, it's back
- 9:58Speaker 1: to regular playoff basketball, slower gains structure where you can't
- 10:03Speaker 1: just be chucking three.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Zone position players. Is like that. If you're Steph Curry
- 10:07Speaker 2: and the Warriors, I get it, but you're not. There's
- 10:09Speaker 2: not another team like that.
- 10:10Speaker 1: But even Steph, I mean, he's lost titles on stacked
- 10:14Speaker 1: teams where it came down to that three and that
- 10:18Speaker 1: three didn't drop, you know what I'm saying. He pulled
- 10:21Speaker 1: out a little more grit in the Boston series, the
- 10:25Speaker 1: series they won, you know that twenty twenty two I
- 10:27Speaker 1: think title. You know, he showed like another level there
- 10:32Speaker 1: where he really you know, he got his MVP, like
- 10:35Speaker 1: he earned that MVP as opposed to before you know it,
- 10:38Speaker 1: with Dalla, got that first one where it was like
- 10:40Speaker 1: people were scratching their head, like Steph Curry is the phenom,
- 10:43Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, Like he got with Dalla,
- 10:45Speaker 1: got a finals MVP for getting destroyed by Lebron like
- 10:48Speaker 1: it's insane, by James, I mean, it's crazy though, And
- 10:52Speaker 1: then you know, obviously when KD was there, he was
- 10:54Speaker 1: clearly the best player on the team. But even with Steph,
- 10:58Speaker 1: you know, like he had to be exceptionally, exceptionally exceptionally
- 11:04Speaker 1: great Olympics Olympics exactly he had. He had to be
- 11:10Speaker 1: exceptionally great to break that curse of shooters not being
- 11:13Speaker 1: able to get that big one, because you can't think
- 11:16Speaker 1: of Reggie Miller, ain't get it, you know what I'm saying,
- 11:19Speaker 1: Sto jakovicch ain't get it. You know, kerk got one,
- 11:22Speaker 1: but he wasn't never a main option or he was
- 11:24Speaker 1: never somebody they were looking to.
- 11:25Speaker 2: Head that one shot that Michael passed it to him,
- 11:28Speaker 2: any of that game winning shot, But outside of that,
- 11:30Speaker 2: he didn't get that recognition like Curry does.
- 11:32Speaker 1: That even makes me think of some curse said recently
- 11:34Speaker 1: where he's like, man, I'm old enough to have been
- 11:36Speaker 1: teammates with I believe he said Kareem like maybe in
- 11:42Speaker 1: his later years, because you know, Kareem played into like
- 11:44Speaker 1: the late eighties, and he's like, you know, just the
- 11:50Speaker 1: type of stuff that he's seen in basketball is like
- 11:54Speaker 1: a wide range of things he was talking about, just
- 11:56Speaker 1: like some feet that happened recently, maybe Jo Kisch or
- 11:58Speaker 1: Lebron or something. But it just made me think of
- 12:00Speaker 1: the fact that dang bro Steve Kerr has been around
- 12:04Speaker 1: crazy basketball.
- 12:05Speaker 2: And that's why I think coaches who actually there's a
- 12:08Speaker 2: lot of player coaches, you know what I'm saying, Like
- 12:10Speaker 2: coaches who were players in the NBA, but not such
- 12:12Speaker 2: prominent players that had runs with out standing teammates and
- 12:16Speaker 2: all stars like Steve Kerr had. And that's why, like
- 12:20Speaker 2: I was into the pivot earlier, like Anthony Hardaway is teaching,
- 12:24Speaker 2: is coaching. He's a head coach at Memphis now is
- 12:26Speaker 2: I'm a may Like the experience you have playing with Shaq,
- 12:30Speaker 2: playing with the teams you played with, playing with the
- 12:32Speaker 2: players you played with, going through the experiences of winning
- 12:35Speaker 2: and losing. I think that's what makes you a better
- 12:39Speaker 2: coach and better experience coach, because once you get in
- 12:42Speaker 2: the playoffs, it's a whole like you said, it's a
- 12:45Speaker 2: whole different game. Like you got to play structured classic basketball,
- 12:49Speaker 2: like each position plays their position. There's not just getting
- 12:53Speaker 2: away with it. You have to play structured basketball at
- 12:57Speaker 2: that point when you're in the playoffs.
- 12:58Speaker 1: Yeah, and if you don't have that experience, you have
- 13:01Speaker 1: to be an all time level observer to really, like
- 13:06Speaker 1: you know, what I'm saying, because there's definitely some coaches
- 13:07Speaker 1: that ain't never play at a high level exact that
- 13:11Speaker 1: have that eye for coaching it and know how to
- 13:14Speaker 1: explain the players where to fill in gaps and stuff
- 13:17Speaker 1: like that. You know, one that I think of is
- 13:19Speaker 1: Greg Popovich. I think he played in college, but I
- 13:22Speaker 1: think he played for the Navy team, you know what
- 13:23Speaker 1: I'm saying. Like it wasn't even like he was like
- 13:26Speaker 1: a top prospect or anything.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Like that, but he was an observer.
- 13:29Speaker 1: But he knows how to put a team together, and
- 13:31Speaker 1: he knows the right type of basketball to get these wins,
- 13:34Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. So yeah, man, going back
- 13:39Speaker 1: to these playoffs, Man, we didn't even touch on the East,
- 13:42Speaker 1: but the East is kind of like the.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Calves bro without Lebron. They're about to make a name
- 13:46Speaker 2: for themselves for the first time without Lebron. I love
- 13:48Speaker 2: that and I love that for them.
- 13:50Speaker 1: They're giving me Atlanta Hawks in the twenty tens vibes. Man,
- 13:56Speaker 1: I'm not looking at I'm not looking at the Calves
- 13:59Speaker 1: as a real They're gonna have to prove it, you know.
- 14:02Speaker 1: They're kind of like in the ok C Bowl to me, like,
- 14:05Speaker 1: all right, prove it. You know what I'm saying. We've
- 14:06Speaker 1: seen this, We've seen this before with so many teams,
- 14:09Speaker 1: bro that they just never never got the big one,
- 14:12Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. Like, it's just that you
- 14:13Speaker 1: gotta they.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Have such a great season and get knocked out in
- 14:16Speaker 2: the first round. Yeah, that's rough. My Knicks looking good, though,
- 14:20Speaker 2: I'm not I'm not mad at them.
- 14:22Speaker 1: The Knicks. The Knicks are a couple of injuries on
- 14:25Speaker 1: other teams away from winning.
- 14:26Speaker 2: The Buster came back though he came back last I
- 14:29Speaker 2: think last week, not even last week, just a couple
- 14:33Speaker 2: of days ago. And we're saving them. I know we're
- 14:36Speaker 2: saving him. We're gonna save his juice AO for the playoffs,
- 14:40Speaker 2: and I think he's gonna hold down. I think Cats,
- 14:42Speaker 2: the Cats coming in real good, progressing with the team,
- 14:45Speaker 2: love is. I think they're gonna They're just gonna do
- 14:48Speaker 2: their thing.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Man. I feel like the Knicks would need, uh, the
- 14:54Speaker 1: Knicks would need Kawhi Raptors type run to win it. Yeah,
- 14:59Speaker 1: Like they need like other players to go down. They
- 15:02Speaker 1: need Brunson to be going insane out of his mind
- 15:06Speaker 1: as the other player goes on to them like they
- 15:09Speaker 1: need stuff to happen. But I feel like in the East,
- 15:12Speaker 1: like teams that can win, like realistically, like it wouldn't
- 15:16Speaker 1: surprise me at all. Boston and Milwaukee.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Yeah, those are the two Boston.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Kay. I don't like Boston. I don't like how they play,
- 15:24Speaker 1: but but they're they're so good defensively and they shoot
- 15:29Speaker 1: so well. Bro, that's like that's the thing about Boston.
- 15:31Speaker 1: Like like like you said, Bro, I hate Boston too,
- 15:34Speaker 1: Like I've always thought they was corny as a team.
- 15:37Speaker 1: I never liked the brand of basketball Boston played like
- 15:39Speaker 1: any team bro, two thousands, nineties, even like the eighties
- 15:45Speaker 1: bird stuff, like because I used to watch all the
- 15:47Speaker 1: NBA TV Classic playoff runs and stuff like that.
- 15:50Speaker 2: B Michael Jordan never beat.
- 15:52Speaker 1: I never liked that Boston play playing style. Man.
- 15:55Speaker 2: But I will say Tatum got a battery in his
- 15:57Speaker 2: back because you got no playing time in the Olympics.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Think that's still something that weighs on him. He still
- 16:03Speaker 2: got a chip on his shoulder, Like now, I'm still
- 16:05Speaker 2: that dude, y'all gonna see it, even though he bit
- 16:08Speaker 2: off everybody's celebration win when they won the title. Uh,
- 16:13Speaker 2: Jayleen Brown has a great regimen. I think he trains
- 16:17Speaker 2: way harder than probably.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Tatum was doing emotes when you the title. Yeah yeah,
- 16:22Speaker 1: he had a meme checklist in his phone.
- 16:24Speaker 2: I see that.
- 16:25Speaker 1: I need to be every meme on this run.
- 16:26Speaker 2: Somebody said, what was gonna happen if we didn't win?
- 16:29Speaker 2: I guess we didn't find out from Kanye.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Dane, Kevin Garner, Curry what they're gonna say now what
- 16:40Speaker 1: yo yo?
- 16:41Speaker 2: Jason Tatum, he.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Was getting in stones the celebrations.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Like, please prepare yourself with original celebrations if y'all make
- 16:50Speaker 2: it anywhere near the finals this year, please Bro.
- 16:53Speaker 1: He's like my son. Anytime my son gets v Bucks
- 16:55Speaker 1: or Fortnite money, Bro, he goes straight and spends his
- 16:58Speaker 1: money on his skins and motes and dances. Bro. That's
- 17:01Speaker 1: Jason Tatum. Bro, that's all he wanted to do when
- 17:04Speaker 1: he won.
- 17:05Speaker 2: His dude stole off everybody, everybody celebration. Guy. That also
- 17:11Speaker 2: tells me, I don't think he thinks he thought they
- 17:13Speaker 2: were gonna win, because if you if you know you're
- 17:16Speaker 2: gonna win, you gotta get your celebration ready.
- 17:19Speaker 1: It brouh because it's like, I don't know necessarily, like
- 17:24Speaker 1: if he didn't think they was gonna win so much
- 17:26Speaker 1: as Bro, I feel like he just knew Brown how
- 17:31Speaker 1: to go off, you know what I mean, Like, I
- 17:34Speaker 1: don't know, Bro, Like Jason Tatum is nice and all,
- 17:37Speaker 1: but like when I watch him play, he don't give
- 17:40Speaker 1: me that vibe. Like I feel like Brown is the
- 17:43Speaker 1: one there that really is like the one that's like
- 17:46Speaker 1: striking the striking the hearts of the other team, you
- 17:49Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like when I watched him play,
- 17:52Speaker 1: I'm more scared of Brown every time. Like Tatum is good, bro,
- 17:56Speaker 1: but Tatum reminds me of like a Rashard Lewis or something,
- 17:59Speaker 1: you know what I mean, Like he's I don't know, bro,
- 18:03Speaker 1: Like he kind of just gives me that same vibe. Honestly.
- 18:05Speaker 2: No, So, who do you see? Give me the East
- 18:10Speaker 2: and the West finals. So I'm gonna give you conference finals.
- 18:13Speaker 2: Give me the conference finals.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you what I would like to see
- 18:17Speaker 1: and what I think we're gonna see. All right, So
- 18:20Speaker 1: NBA Playoffs, Conference finals in the West. What I think
- 18:24Speaker 1: we're I mean, it depends on the Seaton too. We
- 18:26Speaker 1: haven't we haven't seen the seat and we'll revisit this
- 18:28Speaker 1: once the seating is set. But I could see it
- 18:31Speaker 1: being like Nuggets Lakers in the conference finals, which should
- 18:36Speaker 1: be fire. I could see it being Clippers and Nuggets
- 18:41Speaker 1: are Lakers, you know what I mean? Clippers Lakers will
- 18:43Speaker 1: be insane, Bro, conference final. That would be my c
- 18:46Speaker 1: TV Bro.
- 18:47Speaker 2: That's like the Subway series of LA Yeah.
- 18:50Speaker 1: Facts, But who I realistically see maybe like Denver, Okay,
- 18:54Speaker 1: see a team that I could realistically see in there
- 18:59Speaker 1: honestly is the Lakers. Bro. I don't think it's like
- 19:01Speaker 1: a long shot. I don't think it's a Shannon Shannon
- 19:04Speaker 1: Sharp haiku, you know what I mean? Like I just
- 19:08Speaker 1: I just honestly feel like they could be in that finals.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Yeah you don't he don't care, he said, Lakers, And fine,
- 19:14Speaker 1: no matter what LaaS Today, Brian Windhorse was like, he's like,
- 19:19Speaker 1: what do you say? He says, Steph Curry, Chicken Curry,
- 19:23Speaker 1: Tyson Fury Nakas in three. But yeah, so, like I said,
- 19:30Speaker 1: I realistically see is that? Then in the East, who
- 19:33Speaker 1: I realistically see is Boston Cleveland, Boston Cleveland or Boston
- 19:39Speaker 1: Cleveland Bucks, any any iteration of that? Who I would
- 19:43Speaker 1: like to see is the Bucks in Cleveland. That's what
- 19:47Speaker 1: I would like to So. Then in the finals, who
- 19:51Speaker 1: I think is gonna be is the Nuggets and the Celtics,
- 19:57Speaker 1: with the Nuggets getting the Dovinski. What I would like
- 20:00Speaker 1: to see is the Clippers and the Cavs. With the
- 20:04Speaker 1: Clippers getting the Dovinski. I want to see Kawhi get
- 20:08Speaker 1: that ring with the Clippers.
- 20:10Speaker 2: I still say that's yours. That's a little biased.
- 20:14Speaker 1: We're gonna go out with this dog. To me, what
- 20:18Speaker 1: your healthy? Kawhi Leonards, bro is the best basketball player
- 20:21Speaker 1: I ever seen in my life.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Dog.
- 20:23Speaker 1: In my life, Bro, I've never seen somebody play like
- 20:29Speaker 1: the NBA was a video game. Yeah, Like he will
- 20:32Speaker 1: dead ass. He'll dead ass hit a three, steal the ball,
- 20:40Speaker 1: hit another three, steal the ball. Hit like I've seen
- 20:44Speaker 1: them be down by like nine, ten, eleven, twelve, that's score.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Get the ball, score, get the ball like.
- 20:50Speaker 2: Bros Tracy McGrady thirteen second runner.
- 20:54Speaker 1: I've seen him do that multiple times. It's insane, Bro.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Like he honestly, to me, Bro, when he's healthy and
- 21:01Speaker 1: he's like one hundred percent, Bro, he is the best
- 21:06Speaker 1: best player in basketball. Dog. Like that, I've ever seen, like,
- 21:09Speaker 1: better than Jordan, better than Lebron, better than anybody, better
- 21:12Speaker 1: than Kobe Dal. I don't care, Bro, because he plays
- 21:17Speaker 1: offense and defense exceptionally well. It's insane, Bro. He will
- 21:22Speaker 1: literally switch and guard the best player and shut him
- 21:26Speaker 1: down and at the same time give you thirty five. Bro.
- 21:29Speaker 1: It's insane and.
- 21:30Speaker 2: Not small ones and not small one time, I'll give
- 21:34Speaker 2: him off laps and final take. I don't think the
- 21:36Speaker 2: Nuggets make it to pass. I don't even think they
- 21:38Speaker 2: make it to the Western Conference finals, let alone to
- 21:41Speaker 2: the finals. I'm gonna say that. I don't think they're
- 21:44Speaker 2: making it. Everything else I agree with you on, but
- 21:49Speaker 2: lagas in five legas
