- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: The liberal globalist order is on its brink and awakening a new conservative age.
- 0:06[SPEAKER_00]: Dr. Steve Turley joined me every day as we discover answers to today's toughest challenges and explore the re-bondalization of conservative civilization.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_00]: This is Turley Talks.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: This is the feel good story of the week and it's going to absolutely make your day.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: This is poetic justice, Danish style.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: There's a particular kind of political arrogance that believes it can weaponize Donald Trump, not to feed him, not out argue him weaponize him.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_00]: turn his ambitions into a fundraising tool, a campaign poster, a rallying cry and ride the wave of manufactured outrage all the way back into power.
- 0:52[SPEAKER_00]: That's exactly what the Danish Prime Minister just attempted.
- 0:58[SPEAKER_00]: And as of last night, the Danish people delivered their verdict.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_00]: and it was not the verdict.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: She was expecting.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: Hey gang, it's me, Dr. Steve, your patron professor, enjoying yet another glorious day in Trump's golden age.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_00]: That you made possible back in November of 2024.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_00]: So if you want to front or a seat on how you continue to change the world, in ways you never even imagine, make sure to smack that bell and subscribe button.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: All right, so.
- 1:26[SPEAKER_00]: to fully enjoy the delicious disaster that just befell upon Denmark's left wing leader.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: We've got to go back to January of last year, when Donald Trump freshly re-enogulated, energized, and utterly uninterested in diplomatic niceties.
- 1:47[SPEAKER_00]: announced that the United States was going to acquire Greenland, and would not take no as an answer.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you've been following this channel, you know that that was not a new idea.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_00]: Trump had floated it back during his first term following the footsteps of Harry Truman, who offered Denmark $100 million for Greenland and back in 1946.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: but this time it landed differently because this time Trump set it with the full weight of American civilization behind it.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: Trump wanted Greenland as part of the United States reasserting the Monroe doctrine as the Don Road doctrine, the foundational U.S. foreign policy principle declaring that the Western Hemisphere centers on and revolves around the United States as the
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: Now, of course, the European political class erupted.
- 2:42[SPEAKER_00]: Elite's in Germany and Sweden rallied to Denmark's side.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: Nordic leaders condemned Trump's threatening rhetoric and met of Fredrickson, the Social Democratic Prime Minister, who governed Denmark's since
- 2:54[SPEAKER_00]: 2019, she stepped up to the microphone and she set along with Greenland's new Prime Minister.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: They delivered the line that made them internationally famous.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: The U.S. will never, ever get Greenland.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: Strong words we were told.
- 3:10[SPEAKER_00]: Presidential words, even.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: The kind of words that echo in the chambers of the United Nations.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: You know the kind of words that get you quoted in every newspaper on the continent and praise at every Davos dinner.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: Fredrickson was in that moment exactly what the globalist media wanted her to be, the conscience of Europe, the small nation standing tall against the American bully, and her poll numbers, at least the ones that were reported on, appeared to confirm that she was on a political role.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_00]: And that is when she made her fatal mistake.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: On February 26, more than six months before she was legally required to.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: Meta Fredrickson announced a snap election from March 24.
- 3:59[SPEAKER_00]: The logic was nakedly political.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_00]: She watched her approval ratings climb on the back of her Greenland defiance.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: And so she decided that she could exploit that moment, thinking that the vast majority of Danes despise Trump, and she could expand her party's numbers, the social democrats, in the Danish Parliament.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: It was a cynical manoeuvre dressed up as statesmanship, and the Danish people saw right through it.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: Last night, the election results were in.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: The Danish People's Party, the MAGA of Denmark, were the huge winners of the night.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: They nearly quadrupled their vote chair, searching from five seats to 16, riding the same wave we saw in France and Germany over the weekend where their Patriot Party surged
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: in their respective elections.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: Prime Minister Frederickson's party, the social democrats, the party that had governed Denmark for most of the past century, the party that built Denmark's legendary welfare state.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: They collapsed, they barely received 20% of the vote.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_00]: They lost as many seats as the Danish people's party gained.
- 5:19[SPEAKER_00]: Their coalition partners collapsed right alongside them suffering what analysts called their worse showing in over a century.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_00]: The loss was so devastating.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: It was so utterly humiliating.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: That Prime Minister, Meta Frederickson, the one who thought that she could humiliate Trump
- 5:39[SPEAKER_00]: has as of just hours ago officially resigned as Prime Minister.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: The backfire was utterly catastrophic.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: So what on earth happened?
- 5:56[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that is exactly what we're about to find out.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: But first of all, quick question, have you ever wondered how politicians seem to buy stocks at the perfect time right before major world events?
- 6:11[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it just happened again.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: A member of Congress reportedly bought $50,000 in the defense company shortly after the Iran conflict began.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_00]: Now, here's the wild part, those trades are actually public information, which means every day investors like you and me, we can follow them.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: My friend Ross Gibbons is hosting a free training this Thursday, March 26th at 3 p.m. Eastern showing exactly how this works.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_00]: Ross's track insider trades for nearly a decade and some of returned over a thousand percent.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be huge, but seats are limited.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_00]: Click the link below.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_00]: And snag one of the remaining online seats is going to change your life gang, click that link below right now to grab one of the final seats with me at Ross's free training, or to love it.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_00]: As it turns out, while Fredrickson was busy posturing his Scandinavia's Warrior Queen against Donald Trump,
- 7:09[SPEAKER_00]: Ordinary Danish voters were thinking about something else entirely.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_00]: They were thinking about grocery prices.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_00]: They were thinking about immigration.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: They were thinking about a welfare system under strain about a prime minister who had spent a final year in office focused on international prestige rather than the kitchen table.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: It was actually very fascinating, Frederickson ended up alienating her left-wing voters who were angry about her hard-line immigration policies, policies that she had adopted, specifically to try to neutralize the so-called far-right.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: at the same time, right wing voters didn't trust her on the economy, and the center had simply exhausted its patients with her.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: As it turns out, just like we learned over the week and in France and Germany, the same nationalist populist dynamic that Fredrickson had tried to co-op and suppress the same civilizational revolt, the same frustration with mass immigration,
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: The Danish People's Party's platform and territory.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_00]: had not disappeared when Fredrickson co-opted its language.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: It simply waited, and now it was surging again.
- 8:27[SPEAKER_00]: The Guardian noted that, evident, that the Danish right had not really been defeated under Fredrickson.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: It had been absorbed.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: Its ideas quietly adopted by the mainstream social democrats only to reemerge with renewed
- 8:45[SPEAKER_00]: You can't borrow the populous rights policies without eventually giving the populous right the credit, and she unfortunately for her found that out the hard way last night.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_00]: Now, step back from Denmark for a moment, because this story is not just about Denmark.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_00]: It's about the entire strategic playbook of the Western liberal establishment when it faces the Trump moment.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_00]: The playbook goes basically like this, when Trump says or does something, our elites consider aggressive, whether it's about Greenland or NATO or terrorist or immigration.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: You strike a defiant pose, you issue a press release, right?
- 9:31[SPEAKER_00]: You tell your domestic audience that you stood up to the bully.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: And then you hope the cameras keep rolling long enough to convert that performance into a electoral capital.
- 9:42[SPEAKER_00]: Friedrichson played this game with maximum sophistication.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_00]: She had the right words, she had the right optics, she had the sympathy of the entire European press corps, Germany and Sweden were standing with her.
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: She was for a brief shining moment, the face of European resistance, and then she called the election.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: And the Danish people, practical, pragmatic, cost of living focused, reminded her that geopolitical theater does not pay the grocery bill.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_00]: It does not butter the parsnips, as I've heard it put.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: Trump for his part had already moved on.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: He secured embassy like a autonomy over Greenland.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: He's already making preparations for the shield of the Americas and mineral mining on the island.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: The crisis Frederickson had built her entire campaign around, was quietly deflating even as she went door-to-door asking for votes.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: She gambled that Trump would remain maximally aggressive, and of course he didn't.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's called the art of the deal, and Trump always wins.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: And she was left holding a campaign, built around a crisis that simply never materialized.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: And so there's a lesson here for every European politician who believes that writing anti-Trump sentiment is a sustainable political strategy.
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: Simply put, it isn't.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_00]: Voters aren't stupid.
- 11:20[SPEAKER_00]: They understand the difference between a genuine crisis and a manufactured one.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_00]: They understand that when a Prime Minister calls an election six months early because she's afraid that she waits, the real issues will reassert themselves and she'll lose anyway.
- 11:38[SPEAKER_00]: Meta Frederickson tried to use Donald Trump as a campaign prop.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_00]: She tried to turn Greenland into a rallying cry.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: She tried to weaponize American civilizationalism to avoid accountability for her own record.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_00]: And she ended up with her party's worst electoral result in 120 years.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: Ironically, it was a Danish people's party, Denmark's own magamomate movement that celebrated election night.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: The Nationalists, the Immigration Hawks, the Civilization of Populous, they were the ones with a reason to smile.
- 12:18[SPEAKER_00]: And that tells you everything you need to know about where Europe is actually heading, regardless of what any liberal prime minister tells the cameras.
