- 0:02Surprise. There it is, man.
- 0:06The Coliseum. It is Sunday and uh, I'm
- 0:11speechless. I'm gonna do my very best want
- 0:14to thank my friend John Skatoni. Here's John.
- 0:18Here's John yes. So I met John 1012 years ago.
- 0:24Uh, long story, but, uh, he's a good guy.
- 0:29There's a lot more to him. I'll tell you one day.
- 0:32My wife Kim wrote a little love story on Facebook this morning.
- 0:38So go to Kim Poole Wallace to find out why she didn't come.
- 0:43OK, here's where I'm going to start with this.
- 0:48I'm from Saint Louis and they tore down Busch Stadium because
- 0:52it was 36 years old. They said, oh, you know Busch
- 0:55Stadium where the Cardinals play, it's just 36 years old.
- 1:00This baby's been standing 2000 years and they played in there
- 1:04for 500 years. Where do I begin?
- 1:08Rome is like, it's unbelievable. What do they call that over
- 1:15there? The Rome, That's where like
- 1:16that. That would have been Washington,
- 1:18DC right there. We found out where they, they
- 1:22killed Julius Caesar. I got a picture of where they
- 1:26burned. They buried, but you know, they
- 1:28cremated Julius Caesar's body. He ruled.
- 1:32He was a great gladiator and he ended up running the Roman
- 1:37Empire. But that right there, that was
- 1:40interesting. We have, oh, by the way, you
- 1:42know what they say you need your walking shoes.
- 1:45They're serious. I, I told he John, John said,
- 1:50John said, you know, if if you look on your phone tonight, it's
- 1:53going to tell you how far you walk.
- 1:55And I told John, I said, John, that's cool.
- 1:59Oh, it's starting to rain now. That's cool.
- 2:01My phone tell me how far I walk. But I can tell you I walked my
- 2:04ass off a little chilly in the mid high 50s, starting to
- 2:10starting to rain. But I mean, just people from all
- 2:13over the world, we're taking it all in.
- 2:17We're going to go into the back alleys tonight and get us some
- 2:19good pizzeria. But anyway, what I was going to
- 2:24say is we've got to have this for a backdrop.
- 2:27Hold on. You're good.
- 2:28Thank you, John. But Rome, the city of Rome is
- 2:32like like Six Flags. Seriously, with respect, it's
- 2:36like, you know, it's like brother Mike said it.
- 2:40When Mike came back from here, I said, Mike, tell me about Rome.
- 2:44He said, Herm, if you like a really old stuff.
- 2:48I mean, everything is archaeological right now.
- 2:51They're still digging everything.
- 2:52They're digging like Everything Everywhere you go.
- 2:54They're still digging and finding things.
- 2:57But but you know, you got the Colosseum here.
- 2:59You got, they were going to the Vatican tomorrow.
- 3:02You know, the the Roman, the forum, you know, we're like, you
- 3:05know, that's where the government was.
- 3:10But yeah, it is, it is amazing. It is.
- 3:12And now hold on, John. OK, today's like our first day.
- 3:16We're where are we going from here on out?
- 3:20Today we're well, tomorrow we're going to go see the Vatican.
- 3:23Yeah. And then we're going to go see
- 3:24the Ferrari Museum on. Tuesday, Ferrari.
- 3:27And then Venice. Venice so.
- 3:29Meet us in Venice. Yeah, see in Venice.
- 3:32Germany, we're going to drive the Autobahn.
- 3:33Yeah, we're going on the Autobahn, man.
- 3:35We're going to run about. How fast can we go on that?
- 3:37That depends. On how good of a car we get.
- 3:39We're going to run about 100 and we'll floor it.
- 3:42And John told me he's been there.
- 3:44You got to stay in the left lane.
- 3:45So tell tell them what you told me about.
- 3:48You got to be super. You got to do the right thing,
- 3:50right? You're.
- 3:51Driving the right lane, passing in the left lane.
- 3:53Yeah, the left lane, like, you know when you got somebody, OK,
- 3:57you told me that in America, if you're in the left lane, people
- 3:59just honk your horn. If you're in the left lane on
- 4:02the autobahn going slow, what happens They.
- 4:04Give you a ticket. Let that be a lesson, all right?
- 4:09So we're having the best time. Run over by a Porsche one.
- 4:14You know, it's funny it, it's so old over here.
- 4:16But I told John, I said, John, it's still the home Italy Homer
- 4:19Ferrari. I mean, they know what fast cars
- 4:23are. So one more thing I want to tell
- 4:25you about the Roman Empire. I was a little disappointed.
- 4:29They were gangsters. They were, they were the Roman
- 4:33Empire. They were gangsters, no doubt.
- 4:36You know, they went around and they stole everybody's stuff.
- 4:39The the, the Coliseum. The Coliseum was built with
- 4:43slaves and other people's money because they robbed everybody.
- 4:47They went all around, brought the goods back.
- 4:52By the way, the Pope said, let's keep this so you know, because
- 4:59you know more than I know. I learned so much.
- 5:01I was going to say something else.
- 5:04I forgot what it was. There's so much to say, I can't
- 5:07even fit it in. All right, everybody respond
- 5:10right here. I know you've all been here.
- 5:13I am going to repeat myself. I know you all have been here.
- 5:17So share your pictures right here in the comment section.
