- 3:05Sean McAllister: You type a message to us and send it off.
- 3:07Sean McAllister: And that's exactly what Irene from the UK just did.
- 3:11Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 3:11Dayna Roselli: We get so excited when we get a you've got a text message.
- 3:14Sean McAllister: It's almost like uh back in the AOL days that you've got mail.
- 3:17Sean McAllister: You would open up the computer and get the message.
- 3:20Dayna Roselli: So true.
- 3:20Sean McAllister: We love getting the text alerts.
- 3:22Dayna Roselli: We do, because we like to answer your questions.
- 3:24Dayna Roselli: We like to know how you're feeling, what you want to know about Vegas.
- 3:26Dayna Roselli: And so Irene wrote from the UK, like you mentioned, and she says, you know what?
- 3:30Dayna Roselli: First of all, I love your podcast.
- 3:32Dayna Roselli: It's so informative.
- 3:33Dayna Roselli: So thank you for that.
- 3:34Dayna Roselli: She says, one question I have is what's the temperature like inside casinos and restaurants in the evenings in February and March?
- 3:43Dayna Roselli: Yeah, she says, we've have only ever been like to Las Vegas when air conditioning is blasting, but suspect that maybe the air conditioning is off and the heat is on us.
- 3:56Dayna Roselli: Thank you.
- 3:56Dayna Roselli: And again, that's from Irena.
- 3:58Dayna Roselli: Well, yes and no.
- 4:00Sean McAllister: Yeah, so I think what Irena is talking about is if you ever been in Las Vegas during the summertime, during the warm months, you know if you step inside a casino, that air conditioning is blasting.
- 4:13Sean McAllister: Like pretty much to the level where you need a jacket, a light coat to help keep you warm.
- 4:20Sean McAllister: Uh in the wintertime, in my experience, it's not been extremely noticeable.
- 4:28Sean McAllister: It's to me felt very comfortable inside of casinos in the wintertime.
- 4:33Sean McAllister: Do they use uh heat?
- 4:36Sean McAllister: Yes, but kind of not to the degree that you would find in a really cold wintery place like Colorado or New York or somewhere like that.
- 4:46Dayna Roselli: Yeah, it definitely isn't gonna be blasting on you, that's for sure.
- 4:49Dayna Roselli: So will you be comfortable inside a hotel a hotel casino?
- 4:53Dayna Roselli: Yes, but you're not gonna be sweating.
- 4:56Dayna Roselli: So I wouldn't be like, I'm gonna need to peel all these layers off or anything like that.
- 5:00Dayna Roselli: Um, first of all, February and March can actually be kind of nice here.
- 5:03Dayna Roselli: Super Bowl's in February.
- 5:05Dayna Roselli: Last year it was chilly, but I remember like the year before we were out like cooking on the grill and the sun was out, and I was in a tank top.
- 5:11Dayna Roselli: So you never know what the weather's gonna be like in February and March.
- 5:14Dayna Roselli: It could be very warm outside, and like we were chatting before, Sean, you said even when it's cold out, when the sun is out, it's very warm.
- 5:21Sean McAllister: Yeah, when you're in the sun and it's just those rays are baking down on you, it is uh a really nice temperature, regardless of whatever the official air temperature is.
- 5:34Sean McAllister: However, the second you step into a shadow or any shaded area, it gets cold really quick.
- 5:42Sean McAllister: So just keep that in mind.
- 5:44Sean McAllister: I don't think that you're gonna have any issues.
- 5:47Sean McAllister: You don't need to plan to bring a uh a parka or a you know, if you're inside a casino, you can probably get away with short sleeves and be fine.
- 5:56Sean McAllister: But if you're a person who gets a chill pretty easily, then bring a light cover up.
- 6:03Sean McAllister: But for me, I find I've found casinos to be generally pretty comfortable in the wintertime.
- 6:09Dayna Roselli: A little sweater or something like that.
- 6:11Dayna Roselli: Um you know, it's interesting because we were saying over the years, I feel like since 2020, we shut down during COVID.
- 6:19Dayna Roselli: And ever since we've kind of opened back up, I feel like the air conditioning is not as cold as it used to be.
- 6:24Dayna Roselli: And I don't know, they worked a lot on different filtration systems and stuff.
- 6:28Dayna Roselli: I don't know if any of that has changed or that has anything to do with it, but it doesn't seem as freezing.
- 6:33Dayna Roselli: Right now, it can be, she's right though, in the summer, it can be really cold in the hotel casinos, like you mentioned, Sean, to the point where you walk out and you actually enjoy 120 degrees for five years ago.
- 6:45Sean McAllister: Yes, you have to go and thaw yourself out in the sun.
- 6:47Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 6:49Dayna Roselli: So um, I think you'll be fine, like Sean said.
- 6:51Dayna Roselli: You know, it depends if you're gonna be walking the strip and you're gonna be outside and you have a light jacket on, um, you'll be fine inside.
- 6:57Dayna Roselli: If you don't, I you know, if you're going in in a sundress or something like that, um, because maybe you're you are coming from the UK and it feels so warm here at 58 degrees and sunny, uh, you might want to bring a little sweater.
- 7:10Dayna Roselli: So thanks for writing in though, Irena.
- 7:11Dayna Roselli: And again, like Sean said, if you want to text us, we have a link in our show notes.
- 7:14Dayna Roselli: We don't get your number or anything, so don't worry about privacy stuff.
- 7:17Dayna Roselli: If you want to tell us your name and where you're from, you have to enter that in.
- 7:20Sean McAllister: Yeah, and by the way, we've mentioned it before here on the podcast, but we have no way to text you back.
- 7:26Sean McAllister: So all of the replies to your text messages are gonna happen right here on the podcast.
- 7:32Sean McAllister: So we invite you, please send us your comments, questions, ideas, uh, using that link down in our show notes.
- 7:39Sean McAllister: Hey, we want to move on to uh WrestleMania.
- 7:42Sean McAllister: In episode 244, you heard uh Dana, your interview with the current undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes, who we absolutely loved.
- 7:54Dayna Roselli: We did.
- 7:55Sean McAllister: And that interview went everywhere.
- 7:58Dayna Roselli: I mean, this is a first for me to be quoted in body slam.net.
- 8:02Sean McAllister: I that's kind of a big deal.
- 8:03Sean McAllister: This is a pivotal moment in your career, Dana.
- 8:06Sean McAllister: Not only body slam.net, but Sports Illustrated picked it up.
- 8:11Sean McAllister: There were a ton of outlets.
- 8:12Dayna Roselli: Like Wrestle411.
- 8:13Dayna Roselli: I mean, we kept getting Google alerts and Google alerts.
- 8:16Dayna Roselli: We have a Google alert on Vegas Revealed so that we know, like in case the show is ever mentioned or everyone, you know, uses or embeds our podcast, so we know what's going on.
- 8:23Dayna Roselli: Started doing that actually around Super Bowl when we got all those um mentions when about Travis and Taylor with some videos that we had posted, and a lot of people were using them.
- 8:32Dayna Roselli: So I was like, what is going on?
- 8:35Dayna Roselli: And yeah, when I asked Cody about, you know, the rumors that there could be a triple threat match at WrestleMania.
- 8:43Dayna Roselli: I guess people um were really interested in his answer, so it's gone crazy.
- 8:48Dayna Roselli: Um, but that interview is in podcast 244 if you want to listen to it.
- 8:51Dayna Roselli: But interesting enough, WrestleMania tickets are on sale.
- 8:54Dayna Roselli: It's taking place at Allegiance Stadium in April, and it was a record breaker.
- 8:59Dayna Roselli: They said so far they've had the best opening on sale weekend in WWE history.
- 9:05Sean McAllister: Man, yeah, and that's there has to be a Vegas element incorporated in that.
- 9:11Sean McAllister: Like people know WrestleMania in Vegas is going to be a massive event.
- 9:15Sean McAllister: Right.
- 9:15Sean McAllister: And even in Cody's interview, he said, you know, having WrestleMania, they were outdoors in Philadelphia last year.
- 9:23Sean McAllister: This year, this upcoming WrestleMania is going to be inside Allegiant Stadium, one of the newest stadiums in all of the NFL, technologically advanced, fits a ton of people.
- 9:34Sean McAllister: So there, the WWE is excited about being here, and it seems like the fans are equally excited.
- 9:42Dayna Roselli: Definitely.
- 9:42Dayna Roselli: The prices have been expensive.
- 9:44Dayna Roselli: I've seen a lot of people talking about it on message boards and stuff, um, but they're buying them anyway.
- 9:48Dayna Roselli: And I know with Ticketmaster, it kind of goes with like how many people are like currently on the site and yeah, all that things.
- 9:55Dayna Roselli: But I know there are some tickets still available, so um, I it seems like people don't seem to mind because this is their big event of the year.
- 10:04Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 10:05Dayna Roselli: You know, if you follow wrestling, it's important to be at WrestleMania.
- 10:08Dayna Roselli: So, yes, if you want to listen to the podcast, as I mentioned, it's 244.
- 10:13Dayna Roselli: But we also have a television show that we put on our YouTube channel.
- 10:16Dayna Roselli: And if you want to watch the interview, we did do that on camera and we did it at Allegiant Stadium standing right there on the field.
- 10:23Dayna Roselli: Uh, we were gonna go find a little place to do it, and then we went, hey, let's just do it right here.
- 10:26Sean McAllister: Oh, yeah, make it easy.
- 10:28Dayna Roselli: Yeah, he had the belt and everything.
- 10:31Sean McAllister: Suited and booted he was.
- 10:33Dayna Roselli: Well, so we've do it we started this, you know, television show and we started to do different stories and different pieces that we put in there, and lately we've had this thought about let's go do some things that we've never done before because we are Vegas insiders and we've done a lot of stuff, but there are still things we haven't done.
- 10:52Sean McAllister: Yeah, so we decided, hey, let's create our own Vegas bucket list, things that we've known about or that may be new, you know, that come to our attention, and we're like, oh my gosh, okay, we have to go do that.
- 11:06Sean McAllister: Well, we're starting a list so that we can go and start checking things off our Vegas bucket list, and hopefully sharing these experiences with you will, you know, perhaps put these things on your Vegas bucket list too.
- 11:21Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 11:22Dayna Roselli: It pops uh Philly cheesesteak, okay.
- 11:25Dayna Roselli: Uh Sean tweeted about it.
- 11:27Dayna Roselli: I don't even know what was that, like a year and a half ago or two years ago.
- 11:29Sean McAllister: That was like summer of 2023, yeah, August.
- 11:33Dayna Roselli: You drove by, and I think you even said you hadn't tried it yet, right?
- 11:35Dayna Roselli: Or something.
- 11:36Sean McAllister: Yeah, I said I've never been here before, but this place looks great.
- 11:40Sean McAllister: Has anybody been?
- 11:41Sean McAllister: Right.
- 11:41Sean McAllister: And that just set off this whole flurry of people commenting and sharing and resharing, and that got it got a lot of attention.
- 11:52Sean McAllister: So we were like, okay, we were just driving by when that post went up, but it was we had every intent to go back there ourselves to experience it after hearing what people had to say.
- 12:04Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 12:04Dayna Roselli: But now a year and a half has gone by and we still hadn't.
- 12:06Dayna Roselli: So we're like, okay, this is gotta happen.
- 12:08Dayna Roselli: It's the first on our bucket list, you know, and they serve hundreds of cheesesteaks a day, a couple thousand a week.
- 12:14Dayna Roselli: And Popsville Steaks is right there on South Decatur to the north of Sahara, so it's not too far from the Las Vegas Strip, actually.
- 12:23Dayna Roselli: Um, so we thought, okay, we're going to cover the circus down the road.
- 12:27Dayna Roselli: A different story.
- 12:28Dayna Roselli: Let's go to Pops and try it out.
- 12:30Dayna Roselli: They were happy to have us.
- 12:32Sean McAllister: Yeah, and just to give you a visual of what Pops looks like, it's this uh relatively small A-frame building.
- 12:39Sean McAllister: There's no indoor seating, but they've got a patio outside.
- 12:42Sean McAllister: You go and order at the walk-up window.
- 12:45Sean McAllister: When your order's ready, they ding the bell and you go and pick up your order directly from the grill master himself.
- 12:54Dayna Roselli: That's right.
- 12:54Dayna Roselli: And we did just that.
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: We popped over, get it, to taste some of the famous sandwiches and more.
- 13:03Dayna Roselli: Okay, we are here at Pops, and I am ashamed to say that I have lived here for 20 years, so is Sean, and we have not had Pops yet.
- 13:12Dayna Roselli: And we are here to try it for the very first time.
- 13:15Dayna Roselli: Shame on us.
- 13:16Dayna Roselli: How are you, Megan?
- 13:17Dayna Roselli: I'm great.
- 13:18Dayna Roselli: How are you guys?
- 13:19Dayna Roselli: Talk about what a staple this place is.
- 13:21Dayna Roselli: I mean, listen, I've driven by it a million times and always think, oh, it's so cute, oh, that looks like a great place.
- 13:26SPEAKER_02: Well, we're definitely known for our A-frame building, and we've been here for 23 years.
- 13:31SPEAKER_02: So if you're a local, you most likely know Pops.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: And you guys are open 24 hours.
- 13:37SPEAKER_02: 24, 7, 365.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: We never closed.
- 13:40SPEAKER_02: Tell me what people love about your version of the Philly Cheesesteak.
- 13:46SPEAKER_02: I think it's just so authentic Philly.
- 13:49SPEAKER_02: The reason that we started POMP 23 years ago was because the owner did not find his like authentic Philly Cheestake here in Vegas, and he's like, well, I'm just gonna make one.
- 14:00SPEAKER_02: And so we opened up and uh Pride of Philly Steak.
- 14:04SPEAKER_02: That's where our acronym Pops comes from.
- 14:07SPEAKER_02: And people started calling us POPs, and we've just been here ever since, known for that authentic Philly Cheesesteak.
- 14:13Dayna Roselli: Well, let's go see how it's done.
- 14:15Dayna Roselli: Okay, so like there's a lot of different things you need to know when you order.
- 14:20SPEAKER_02: Hi well.
- 14:21SPEAKER_02: Um, we've got our menu here.
- 14:23SPEAKER_02: So, like I was mentioning our uh fan favorite, number 32, pepper's mushroom cheesesteak, which I'm gonna order, suggest that you order today.
- 14:31SPEAKER_02: It's delicious.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: And then you need to know how to order your cheesesteak.
- 14:36SPEAKER_02: Okay, so how to order.
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: So what do you get up there?
- 14:39SPEAKER_02: Your girlmaster back there, you're gonna tell him first off, you gotta figure out if you want steak or chicken, and if you want wit or without.
- 14:47SPEAKER_02: We've got all of our numbers.
- 14:48SPEAKER_02: So, depending on if you want cheese whiz or provolone, bell peppers.
- 14:54SPEAKER_02: You tell them what number?
- 14:56SPEAKER_02: Chicken or steak, whit or without.
- 14:59Dayna Roselli: Okay, I'm excited to order the fan fade number 32, Wit.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: What kind of cheese would you like?
- 15:06Dayna Roselli: What kind of cheese?
- 15:07Dayna Roselli: I think we want to try the cheese whiz.
- 15:09Dayna Roselli: Yeah, cheese whiz.
- 15:13Dayna Roselli: Wit whiz.
- 15:23Sean McAllister: Yeah, so we ordered that fan favorite number 32.
- 15:27Sean McAllister: Whitwiz Whit Whiz.
- 15:28Sean McAllister: Whitwiz.
- 15:29Sean McAllister: I like the way you say it.
- 15:31Sean McAllister: Whitwiz! Uh, and it was it was like greedy good.
- 15:36Sean McAllister: Really good.
- 15:37Dayna Roselli: Good.
- 15:38Sean McAllister: I mean, that might need to be on my late night order menu.
- 15:44Dayna Roselli: It's hard because of the calories, man, because you know that it's just loaded with them.
- 15:48Dayna Roselli: But listen, it's that good.
- 15:49Dayna Roselli: But I mean, you know, we actually each ate a sandwich.
- 15:52Dayna Roselli: I didn't feel actually fat the next day or even like overly stuffed for the rest of the day.
- 15:57Sean McAllister: It was good.
- 15:58Sean McAllister: Because there are sandwiches that you'll eat where it just feels like it's sitting in your stomach.
- 16:02Sean McAllister: And it didn't, it's not like that.
- 16:04Dayna Roselli: It's not at all.
- 16:05Dayna Roselli: And it wasn't too greasy either.
- 16:06Dayna Roselli: No.
- 16:08Dayna Roselli: No, it was good and flavorful.
- 16:10Sean McAllister: And they use like good prime beef in their in their sandwiches too.
- 16:16Sean McAllister: But you also got uh was it a buffalo chicken?
- 16:20Dayna Roselli: And it was delicious.
- 16:22Dayna Roselli: I love I love buffalo hot sauce.
- 16:25Dayna Roselli: I just love it.
- 16:26Dayna Roselli: And so when she said there's a buffalo chicken, I was like, I've gotta try it.
- 16:29Dayna Roselli: It was so good, really, really good.
- 16:33Dayna Roselli: I mean, and then you know, we couldn't try like every single thing, obviously, because we only have so much room in our stomach, but we also got for sides the buffalo cauliflower, which were delicious, fried at kind of fried on the outside.
- 16:46Dayna Roselli: Oh, it was so good.
- 16:47Dayna Roselli: They give you a ranch to dip in if you're into dipping it into things.
- 16:51Dayna Roselli: And then we had the mac and cheese bites.
- 16:53Sean McAllister: The mac and cheese bites, yeah.
- 16:55Sean McAllister: Which those were also good.
- 16:56Sean McAllister: And with the side, the dipping side of whiz.
- 17:01Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh.
- 17:02Dayna Roselli: It's delicious.
- 17:03Dayna Roselli: Here's the deal they're open 24 hours.
- 17:05Dayna Roselli: You heard it in the story.
- 17:06Dayna Roselli: Um, they deliver now between midnight and 6 a.m., which they I get they must not have before between those hours, but they do now.
- 17:15Dayna Roselli: And uh a lot of people go there or they pick it up, get in their car, drive away, or they eat it there.
- 17:20Dayna Roselli: Um, and it's just so good.
- 17:24Dayna Roselli: Um, there'll been a lot of celebrity sightings they were telling us too.
- 17:27Dayna Roselli: Pauly D goes there.
- 17:28Sean McAllister: Yeah, DJ Pauly D.
- 17:29Sean McAllister: You probably know him from the Jersey Shore.
- 17:31Dayna Roselli: You know, cabs are here! Yeah.
- 17:34Dayna Roselli: Oh my god.
- 17:34Dayna Roselli: I love when you do the Paul.
- 17:36Dayna Roselli: I love Pauly D.
- 17:37Sean McAllister: Polly is great.
- 17:38Sean McAllister: We just he's such a good guy.
- 17:40Dayna Roselli: Good vibes all around when you're around Pauly D.
- 17:43Sean McAllister: Always so happy.
- 17:45Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 17:45Dayna Roselli: We need to hook up with Pauly and interview him.
- 17:48Sean McAllister: We need to go over to the dome at Marquee Day Club and talk to Pauly D.
- 17:52Sean McAllister: We need like it to the Vegas bucket list.
- 17:54Dayna Roselli: Yes, we need to, you know, we need to do follow, like follow around Pauly D for a shift.
- 18:00Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh.
- 18:01Dayna Roselli: Because he isn't always in such a good mood.
- 18:03Sean McAllister: And it'll end at Pop's cheesesteaks.
- 18:06Dayna Roselli: There you go.
- 18:07Dayna Roselli: And we'll be like, Pauly, it's on you.
- 18:10Dayna Roselli: Um, and Nicolas Cage apparently has gone there too a couple times or a few times.
- 18:14Dayna Roselli: They said he pops by and gets a cheesesteak.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: So love that.
- 18:17Dayna Roselli: Pops, if you want to see the video, it'll be on our YouTube.
- 18:20Dayna Roselli: It's going in our television show this weekend.
- 18:24Dayna Roselli: So once Sunday hits, after that, you'll be able to watch the story if you want to see, or you can go to our social media.
- 18:30Dayna Roselli: I think we have a couple clips on there too, or we will put those on.
- 18:33Sean McAllister: Hey, uh, something else we wanted to talk about.
- 18:36Sean McAllister: You know, everything old is new again.
- 18:38Sean McAllister: Remember growing up, like roller skating parties, roller rinks.
- 18:43Sean McAllister: Uh, we always at our school had like uh roller dances too.
- 18:49Sean McAllister: Um well, Vegas is getting in on the resurgence of the roller craze when Flippers Las Vegas Roller Boogie Palace opens at Venetian Resort Las Vegas.
- 19:03Dayna Roselli: It's opening on November 16th.
- 19:05Dayna Roselli: Now we talked about this on a previous podcast, but we didn't know the opening date.
- 19:10Dayna Roselli: But now we found out there's a couple cool things happening here.
- 19:12Dayna Roselli: It's opening November 16th, but it's also going to be hosted by Usher because he's in town for a show over at T-Mobile that Friday.
- 19:19Dayna Roselli: Um, and Usher, uh, we mentioned is kind of part of the whole flippers brand.
- 19:24Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 19:25Dayna Roselli: And so he'll be over there.
- 19:26Dayna Roselli: Doors open at noon.
- 19:28Dayna Roselli: They're putting up the rink right on top of those Tau Beach pools, so it'll be outdoors.
- 19:32Sean McAllister: And that's a great venue, too.
- 19:34Sean McAllister: If you've not been out to Tau Beach before, um, the way it's set up is just it's a good spot.
- 19:41Sean McAllister: And I think having a roller rink out there is just going to be a great use of that area during wintertime.
- 19:48Sean McAllister: You know, it's out of pool season, so you're not gonna have people jumping in, but you are gonna have people rolling around.
- 19:54Dayna Roselli: I think Usher's bringing back roller skating since he put it in his show.
- 19:57Dayna Roselli: And did he have it in the Super Bowl halftime show?
- 19:59Dayna Roselli: Roller skating?
- 20:00Dayna Roselli: Oh gosh, I feel like we thought he was going to.
- 20:03Dayna Roselli: Maybe did, maybe didn't.
- 20:04Dayna Roselli: I can't remember.
- 20:05Sean McAllister: Yeah, I don't remember.
- 20:06Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 20:06Dayna Roselli: Um, anyway, he's bringing roller skating back, and I like that.
- 20:09Sean McAllister: It's good.
- 20:10Dayna Roselli: It is.
- 20:10Dayna Roselli: Hey, you know what else is coming back?
- 20:12Dayna Roselli: The Cosmopolitan Ice Rink.
- 20:15Dayna Roselli: Uh, it's been years now since they've had that over in their pool area as well.
- 20:19Dayna Roselli: Um, it's really fun.
- 20:21Dayna Roselli: There's ice skating and fire pits, and they always have new additions every single year, but um good to know it's returning again.
- 20:30Dayna Roselli: And this is gonna open November 28th through January 12th.
- 20:34Sean McAllister: Yeah, and they always do uh a tree lighting ceremony out there every single year.
- 20:40Sean McAllister: That is happening on December 1st this year, and it's gonna be hosted by comedian Chelsea Handler.
- 20:47Dayna Roselli: Oh, that's cool because she's been doing shows over there.
- 20:49Sean McAllister: You went at the yeah, inside the Chelsea.
- 20:51Sean McAllister: Chelsea at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan.
- 20:55Sean McAllister: Um, she's hilarious.
- 20:57Sean McAllister: Yeah, she is.
- 20:58Sean McAllister: She just has such great stories, and it's all stories about her life.
- 21:03Sean McAllister: And it's like, my gosh, when you listen to her, it's like do I just not like see the funny things that happen in my life?
- 21:12Sean McAllister: Or do funny things just happen to her because she's a funny person?
- 21:15Dayna Roselli: Maybe, maybe, or she just has a different outlook.
- 21:18Sean McAllister: Yeah, weird experiencing.
- 21:19Sean McAllister: I don't know.
- 21:20Sean McAllister: But um she has quite some, she has good stories, so it's worth going to see her over at the Chelsea at the Cosmopolitan.
- 21:28Sean McAllister: Uh, which she has uh more shows coming up November 30th, January 18th, March 21st, and April 18th.
- 21:36Dayna Roselli: Cool, that's great.
- 21:37Dayna Roselli: And if you want to see her light the tree, that's at 6 p.m.
- 21:40Dayna Roselli: So you gotta get over there, get over there early, get your spot.
- 21:43Dayna Roselli: Uh they're doing a lot of cool things over there.
- 21:45Dayna Roselli: If you want to know uh prices, all day skating admissions 30 bucks for guests too and older.
- 21:51Dayna Roselli: Uh Nevada residents, military and first responders can skate for twenty dollars with a valid ID from Monday to Thursday.
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: Minors do have to sign a liability waiver and be accompanied with an adult over the age of 21.
- 22:06Dayna Roselli: And advanced ticket purchases and reservations are strongly encouraged because you know there's only so much and so many people we can fit in this small, you know, area of a casino hotel pool deck.
- 22:18Sean McAllister: Right.
- 22:18Sean McAllister: And if you've ever been up to the boulevard pool where they build the skating rink, it's got a great view of the Las Vegas skyline.
- 22:27Sean McAllister: It's right there on the strip.
- 22:28Sean McAllister: It's raised up above uh several stories high.
- 22:33Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 22:33Sean McAllister: Um, so you get a it's a great picture spot.
- 22:36Sean McAllister: It is, is basically what I'm is the point I'm gonna make.
- 22:39Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 22:39Dayna Roselli: I mean, I feel like Las Vegas is really going like full on holiday attractions this year.
- 22:45Dayna Roselli: We always have had, but now we've got, you know, the the ice rink that's coming to the Fountain Blue and the Christmas movies on the pool deck, and then, you know, we've always had the cosmopolitan, and then they're adding things over there and the tree, and I just feel like we keep getting more and more stuff, which is really cool.
- 23:00Dayna Roselli: I like that we just embrace the fact that, yeah, it's a little bit warmer here during Christmas time and the holiday time, but we're still gonna do things that make it feel like winter.
- 23:10Sean McAllister: It's a different way to get into the holiday spirit, but it's the Vegas way to get into the holiday spirit, which we love.
- 23:17Sean McAllister: Hey, uh Dana, you just mentioned ice skating at Fountain Blue.
- 23:21Sean McAllister: Uh, they also have some new entertainment kicking off over there.
- 23:26Sean McAllister: Pitbull hitting the stage for his residency.
- 23:29Sean McAllister: Pitbull Vegas after dark, the residency, um, kicks off this weekend.
- 23:34Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 23:35Dayna Roselli: I that came quick, right?
- 23:36Sean McAllister: It came so quick.
- 23:37Dayna Roselli: Someone mentioned that.
- 23:38Dayna Roselli: We're like, wait, that's this weekend already?
- 23:39Dayna Roselli: We're like, oh yeah, it is the 8th and 9th this year.
- 23:42Dayna Roselli: Gosh.
- 23:42Dayna Roselli: So yeah, he'll be in town this weekend.
- 23:44Dayna Roselli: We're excited for that.
- 23:45Dayna Roselli: If you want to go over and see Pitbull and you hear this and you go, I want to see Pitbull, well, he's gonna be back January of 2025, obviously, the 24th and 25th.
- 23:54Dayna Roselli: And then he's got dates March 7th, 8th, 14th, and 15th.
- 23:58Dayna Roselli: And so we just love Pitbull.
- 24:00Dayna Roselli: His show, you will there's no way you can't have fun.
- 24:03Dayna Roselli: You can't walk away from Pitbull and his show and go, I didn't have a good time or that wasn't great.
- 24:08Sean McAllister: And it's not a show where you're gonna be sitting in your seat.
- 24:11Sean McAllister: Prepare to stand and dance the whole time.
- 24:14Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 24:15Dayna Roselli: It was funny on Halloween, the day after he shared all these different TikToks of people who dressed up as him for Halloween.
- 24:21Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 24:22Dayna Roselli: It was really funny.
- 24:24Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and he loved it.
- 24:25Dayna Roselli: He said, I love it, bring it on, you know.
- 24:26Dayna Roselli: And they would do their little imitation and Mr.
- 24:29Dayna Roselli: Worldwide and all that was funny.
- 24:31Dayna Roselli: Mr.
- 24:31Dayna Roselli: 305.
- 24:32Dayna Roselli: Yep.
- 24:32Sean McAllister: 305, yeah.
- 24:33Sean McAllister: He's a love pit bull.
- 24:35Sean McAllister: He's a good guy.
- 24:36Dayna Roselli: He is.
- 24:36Dayna Roselli: Uh, one other holiday attraction that is returning is glittering lights.
- 24:40Dayna Roselli: This is up at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a little bit of a drive if you're visiting Las Vegas.
- 24:45Dayna Roselli: Uh, if you live here, you know where that is.
- 24:47Dayna Roselli: But it's actually opening uh this weekend too, November 8th.
- 24:51Dayna Roselli: And so this is its 24th year.
- 24:54Dayna Roselli: And they do have a couple things that they add every year to make it a little different, but something that's very popular is the Santa tram, and that's returning this year.
- 25:04Dayna Roselli: So that basically allows you and the family to kind of sit back and relax and not have to drive through, I'm assuming.
- 25:10Dayna Roselli: I haven't taken it before.
- 25:11Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 25:12Dayna Roselli: So you get on and it goes through the lights, right?
- 25:15Sean McAllister: Right.
- 25:15Sean McAllister: So it's it's kind of uh more of a VIP offering where you you know it's one of those long tram kind of deals like you would find at like a Universal Studios or something.
- 25:27Sean McAllister: And you do.
- 25:28Sean McAllister: If so, if you're going with a group, uh it would make sense where if you can't all fit in one car, yeah, and you want to get on the tram and have everybody go together so you can experience it together.
- 25:40Sean McAllister: Um, but it's a long the the glittering lights course that you drive is really long, it goes underneath the grandstands, it takes you all out around the racetrack facility up there at the motor speedway.
- 25:55Sean McAllister: There's some points that just have the most spectacular view of the Las Vegas Strip way out in the distance.
- 26:03Sean McAllister: Oh, yeah.
- 26:03Sean McAllister: And there's no other lights around there either, so it's really dark, you know, other than the Christmas lights.
- 26:09Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 26:09Sean McAllister: Um, it's really pretty.
- 26:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I apparently um the Santa Tram station gives you access to Santa Claus and holiday photos.
- 26:17Dayna Roselli: So if you want to go get your family photos there too, that's a that's an option.
- 26:21Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 26:21Dayna Roselli: To be honest, I've never driven through.
- 26:23Dayna Roselli: So um, you know, I always say this, and I uh it's not an excuse because it's been a few years since then, but I was on the morning shift for 15 years, and a lot of the things that happened at night in this town I never got to because I was always having to go to sleep and get up at 2 a.m.
- 26:40Dayna Roselli: Um, but maybe glittering lights needs to be on my bucket list this year.
- 26:44Sean McAllister: There we go.
- 26:44Sean McAllister: Well, I can tell you, we've gone out there, uh we've made it kind of a tradition the past several years, and we take Sawyer, our dog, and open the back windows because he loves to see the lights as we drive around.
- 26:56Sean McAllister: Oh did he tell you he did.
- 26:59Sean McAllister: After the first time, we came home and he said, You know what, Dad, that was really great.
- 27:04Sean McAllister: I would love to do that again every single year.
- 27:07Dayna Roselli: There you have it, then done.
- 27:10Sean McAllister: And apparently I have a talking dog, so he should be like super famous, and I should be capitalizing on that.
- 27:18Dayna Roselli: Well, you can tell when your dog enjoys something or doesn't.
- 27:21Dayna Roselli: It's very clear.
- 27:22Dayna Roselli: So he obviously didn't not enjoy the lights.
- 27:25Sean McAllister: No, he enjoyed it.
- 27:26Sean McAllister: He had a happy tale.
- 27:28Dayna Roselli: Good to know.
- 27:29Dayna Roselli: Sawyer's take.
- 27:30Dayna Roselli: Hours and tickets, uh, five to nine, open daily, Sunday through Thursday, open daily, five to nine, and then uh oh no, wait, wait, hold on.
- 27:39Dayna Roselli: Glittering lights is open daily from five to nine, Sunday through Thursday, five to ten on Friday.
- 27:44Dayna Roselli: Okay, wait, hold on.
- 27:46Dayna Roselli: I'm not even gonna cut this out.
- 27:47Dayna Roselli: Let's start over, everyone.
- 27:49Dayna Roselli: It's five to nine Sunday through Thursday, five to ten, Fridays, Saturdays, and holidays.
- 27:56Sean McAllister: There we go.
- 27:57Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 27:58Dayna Roselli: Carload uh or truckload tickets, 39 bucks, season pass, 129 for two vehicles, fast pass 64, Santa Tram, 25 bucks, all sorts of different prices.
- 28:09Dayna Roselli: Um, you can go check it out, Google it, look it up, head out there, and just be prepared to pay your ticket price and have a good time.
- 28:16Dayna Roselli: According to Sawyer, it's a blast.
- 28:18Sean McAllister: And now Sawyer says it's time to listen to a message from our title sponsor, Level Up Law.

- 29:22Dayna Roselli: We have a lot of Las Vegas listeners.
- 29:24Dayna Roselli: We know we have listeners from all around the world, but just an FYI.
- 29:28Dayna Roselli: Sushi Roku is a fabulous sushi restaurant at Caesars Palace in the forum shops.
- 29:32Dayna Roselli: They're celebrating 20 years in November.
- 29:35Dayna Roselli: So they're actually giving Las Vegas locals 50% off from November 11th to the 14th, which is such a great deal.
- 29:42Dayna Roselli: We felt like we needed to let you know about it.
- 29:44Dayna Roselli: They posted a flyer on their Instagram, and I was like, wow, that's a deal.
- 29:47Sean McAllister: Well, and they have such like high grade sushi at Sushi Roku, too.
- 29:54Sean McAllister: Especially if you sit at the the chef's counter where they make it make the rolls right in front of you.
- 30:00Dayna Roselli: So good.
- 30:01Dayna Roselli: And they have other things on the menu besides sushi too.
- 30:04Dayna Roselli: So if you want to go there, for I've got the little steak a few times when I haven't been in the mood for sushi, and it's so good.
- 30:11Dayna Roselli: Um, another locals dining discount happening at Resorts World.
- 30:15Dayna Roselli: Uh, this is back.
- 30:16Dayna Roselli: We told you they they do this every now and then.
- 30:18Dayna Roselli: And for the month of November, you can get 20% off restaurants on property Sunday through Thursday.
- 30:23Dayna Roselli: It's a great deal.
- 30:24Dayna Roselli: You do need that valid Nevada ID and a Genting Rewards membership, but that's really easy to get, and you get a lot of perks with that, uh, even if you're not using it all the time.
- 30:34Dayna Roselli: Uh take note though, it's not valid at Carver Steak and Aqua, but they have so many restaurants at Resorts World to choose from.
- 30:41Dayna Roselli: If you want 20% off your bill, go Sunday through Thursday during November.
- 30:46Dayna Roselli: Sometimes they extend it, so we'll let you know.
- 30:48Sean McAllister: And we have Veterans Day coming up here on uh Monday, November 11th.
- 30:55Sean McAllister: And in honor of Veterans Day, and really all month long, uh, Misbehaves Mavericks.
- 31:00Sean McAllister: This is the uh show that just opened up over at the Plaza Hotel and Casino.
- 31:05Sean McAllister: Uh, they're offering active duty military and veterans with valid ID get free admission on show nights Wednesday through Sunday throughout the entire month of November.
- 31:19Sean McAllister: So um just keep that in mind.

- 31:26Sean McAllister: So love that.
- 31:27Sean McAllister: Um this is it's such a good show.
- 31:29Dayna Roselli: And I love that they threw it and an affordable showroom bar.
- 31:32Sean McAllister: And an affordable showroom bar.
- 31:33Dayna Roselli: But I like when they point that out.
- 31:34Dayna Roselli: That means the drinks aren't too expensive.
- 31:36Dayna Roselli: Good to know.
- 31:37Sean McAllister: That means, yes, exactly, that you're gonna be able to have a drink.
- 31:41Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I like mentioning this one because it is the entire month of November, it's not just Veterans Day.
- 31:46Dayna Roselli: So, you know, take advantage if you're in town even for the holiday.
- 31:50Dayna Roselli: Uh, we like our military members to have a good time.
- 31:53Dayna Roselli: You deserve it.
- 31:54Dayna Roselli: And uh this behaves mavericks.
- 31:56Dayna Roselli: I we haven't seen it yet.
- 31:58Dayna Roselli: We're gonna go over.
- 31:58Dayna Roselli: We have seen shows previously previous iterations.
- 32:02Dayna Roselli: Iterations.
- 32:02Dayna Roselli: That's it.
- 32:03Dayna Roselli: And it's a blast, it's quirky, it's fun, it's very vague, and you will have fun, let's put it that way.
- 32:10Sean McAllister: Yes.
- 32:11Sean McAllister: And it's so creative and unlike any other show that we have in Las Vegas.
- 32:16Dayna Roselli: Yeah, very true.
- 32:17Dayna Roselli: Another quick mention Flight Club over at the Grand Canal Shops at the Venetian.
- 32:21Dayna Roselli: This is just Monday, November 11th, but they're doing a free meal, a free meal for veterans, um, as long as you purchase around a social darts.

- 32:44Sean McAllister: Uh, thank you to all the veterans uh and the active duty military members who are you know doing what is needed to protect our freedoms here in the United States.
- 32:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, we definitely need to uh thank you and celebrate you on Veterans Day and all year round.
- 33:02Sean McAllister: That's right.
- 33:02Dayna Roselli: All right, well, that's it for Vegas Revealed, episode 246.
- 33:06Dayna Roselli: We'll be back next week.
- 33:08Dayna Roselli: Uh tomorrow, we're recording this on uh Wednesday.

- 33:21Dayna Roselli: Got a lot of things going on.
- 33:22Dayna Roselli: We're gonna go check out the new Swingers Crazy Golf Club at Mandalay Bay on Friday.
- 33:27Sean McAllister: For adults only.
- 33:28Dayna Roselli: For adults only.
- 33:29Dayna Roselli: We look forward to seeing what that's gonna look like.
- 33:32Dayna Roselli: We just talked about that.
- 33:32Dayna Roselli: I think it was last week.
- 33:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 33:34Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 33:34Dayna Roselli: So look forward to all this stuff.
- 33:35Dayna Roselli: We've got good stuff coming your way.
- 33:37Dayna Roselli: Have a great week, and we'll talk to you then.
