- 0:00You may watch an entire state convene to sustain a new state
- 0:04presidency and feel simple and small because you were not even
- 0:09considered to such a prominent position.
- 0:13A conclusion settles in. I'm nobody who else would be so
- 0:20anointed to be the Lord's rulers?
- 0:23If not you, who will be those kings and Queens, these noble
- 0:28and great ones? If you are not one of them, then
- 0:32who is the mansion? A couple who quietly rely on the
- 0:37Lord and are sealed together for time and eternity.
- 0:40They labor to build up the Kingdom of God, beginning in
- 0:43their own home. They raise their children and
- 0:46lied in truth. Who will remember and honor
- 0:49their names? While the great nations of the
- 0:52earth fade into oblivion, generations and thousands upon
- 0:57thousands in both directions of time will remember and honor
- 1:02them. They will not be forgotten, not
- 1:08ever. Who are you and who are you
- 1:30becoming? Hello, my name is Larry
- 1:33Korbridge and this is episode 18 of the Stand Forever series.
- 1:39In the last episode, we partially answered the question
- 1:43we should all answer from time to time.
- 1:47Who am I? To understand who you are is
- 1:51essential to know where you are, and when you know where you are,
- 1:56you can then plot a course to where you want to go.
- 2:00We considered our our dual nature, both divine and natural
- 2:06or carnal. Today we will consider
- 2:08additional aspects of your identity, particularly who you
- 2:13were before this life. To whatever extent polar
- 2:24opposition or moral opposition existed in our first estate, to
- 2:29whatever extent good and evil were present there, one thing is
- 2:33clear. Nothing then and there compares
- 2:36to the prevalence and extremes of good and evil here.
- 2:42This life, this time, this world is different.
- 2:48For the first time ever we are out of the presence of God on
- 2:52our own, without even memory of Him.
- 2:57For the first time ever we are clothed with this phenomenal
- 3:02physical body. Satan and his minions roam
- 3:06freely on our and are having their way with the world.
- 3:11The Lord said to Enoch, Wherefore I can stretch forth
- 3:16mine hands and hold all creations which I have made and
- 3:20mine. I can Pierce them also, and
- 3:23among all the workmanship of my hands there has not been so
- 3:28great wickedness as among thy brethren.
- 3:34Some have said this statement is a terrible indictment of the
- 3:38inhabitants of this world, and in a way I suppose it is.
- 3:43But while that description is bleak, certainly if the greatest
- 3:48wickedness is here, it also gives rise to the potential for
- 3:53the greatest good as well. You should not conclude Earth is
- 3:58Alcatraz, the maximum security facility to which God has sent
- 4:03his most rebellious or deviant or retarded children.
- 4:08The Son of Man was the perfection of goodness, and He
- 4:12was born among men here, walked among men here, healed, taught,
- 4:21atoned, and resurrected for men here, while great wickedness is
- 4:29scattered across the face of the earth.
- 4:31This is also where God sent the noble and great ones from among
- 4:38his children. Abraham said this.
- 4:43Now the Lord had shown unto me, Abraham, the intelligence that
- 4:47were organized before the world was.
- 4:50And among all these there were many of the noble and great
- 4:54ones. And God saw these souls, that
- 4:58they were good, and he stood in the midst of them.
- 5:00And he said, These I will make my rulers.
- 5:05For he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that
- 5:08they were good. And he said unto me, Abraham,
- 5:12Thou art one of them. Thou was chosen before thou was
- 5:16born. Are you among those noble and
- 5:21great ones to be the Lord's rulers?
- 5:26What if you were never called to be a leader?
- 5:30Never called to be a Bishop or a Relief Society president?
- 5:35The Lord said ruler, not leader. A ruler is one who governs his
- 5:43or her own Kingdom, however grand or small, especially one
- 5:48who rules over oneself. It is not the size of the
- 5:53Kingdom, but the quality of the kingship that matters, and the
- 5:59promise to become a ruler is not limited to this life.
- 6:05Who else? Who else would be so anointed to
- 6:10be the Lord's rulers, if not you?
- 6:14Who will be the Lords? Who will be those kings and
- 6:17Queens, if not you? Where should we go to find them,
- 6:21these noble and great ones? If you are not one of them, then
- 6:26who is? If you do not proclaim the
- 6:30gospel, if you do not redeem the dead and perfect the Saints,
- 6:34especially especially yourself, who will?
- 6:41Who among the seed of Abraham will go forward to bless all
- 6:45nations, if not you? With all respect, will it be the
- 6:50Jews, the Shiites, the Sunnis, the Muslims, the Buddhists, or
- 6:56other Christians? Jesus said the harvest truly is
- 7:02plenteous, but the laborers are few.
- 7:06If you are not among the few who will labor, then who is?
- 7:11If you don't, who will? Who else has the truth you have?
- 7:18Who else has the power and knowledge that you have, as the
- 7:25Lord said. For of Him unto whom much is
- 7:29given, much is required, and he who sins against the greater
- 7:35light shall receive the greater condemnation.
- 7:41We live, you and I live, in the dispensation of the fullness of
- 7:47times. It is the fullness of times not
- 7:52only regarding the gospel, the plan of salvation and and the
- 7:58Kingdom of God on earth, but also regarding opportunities,
- 8:03science, industry, information technology and probably evil as
- 8:10well. Was there ever, ever a time like
- 8:15this time ever, ever a time where people are given more than
- 8:21you, with greater potential and opportunity than you?
- 8:26No, never, not ever. You were chosen to come to earth
- 8:33in this dispensation. When so much more has been
- 8:38revealed, the Lord says to you, And behold, ye are the children
- 8:45of the prophets, and ye are of the House of Israel, and ye are
- 8:51of the covenant which the Father made with your father, saying
- 8:54unto Abraham, And in thy seed you, and in thy seed shall all
- 9:02the kindreds of the earth be blessed.
- 9:07You were Abraham's seed. The living and breathing
- 9:11fulfillment of that prophecy In the revelation given to
- 9:18President Joseph F Smith in 1918, the Lord revealed His
- 9:25ministry among the righteous dead assembled in Paradise, and
- 9:29His organization of them to preach the gospel on that side
- 9:33of the veil. Saying from among the righteous,
- 9:37He organized his forces, and appointed messengers clothed
- 9:42with power and authority, and commissioned them to go forth
- 9:46and carry the light of the gospel to them that were in
- 9:49darkness, even to all the spirits of men.
- 9:53But in that same revelation the Lord also spoke of the
- 9:58preparation of choice spirits yet unborn, to come forth in the
- 10:05Lord's words, to come forth in the fullness of times, to take
- 10:10part in laying the foundations of the great latter day work on
- 10:15this side of the veil, including the building of temples and the
- 10:20performances of ordinances therein.
- 10:23For the redemption of the dead were also in the spirit world,
- 10:29he continued. I observed that there were also
- 10:32among the noble and great ones who were chosen in the beginning
- 10:37to be rulers in the Church of God even before they were born.
- 10:43They, with many others, received their first lessons in the world
- 10:49of spirits and were prepared to come forth in due time of the
- 10:53Lord to labor in His vineyard for the salvation of men.
- 10:59That's you. Those are the first lessons you
- 11:04received in the world of spirits for the work you were prepared
- 11:08to do here. That is who you are, and that is
- 11:14an essential part of your purpose here.
- 11:18There is no one else, only you, one of the noble and great ones.
- 11:26You may run and hide, duck and cover, but you can't escape who
- 11:31you are and what you were prepared to do here.
- 11:41So imagine this dream. It's actually actually a dream I
- 11:47had one night. You're going to a large
- 11:50gathering, a conference, a devotional of some sort.
- 11:54It's it's a very important event.
- 11:56Everyone is supposed to be there.
- 11:58And as you enter the large Conference Center, you're taken
- 12:01back by how many people are packed inside.
- 12:05It seems every seed is filled. There is tangible energy that
- 12:10fills the stadium as so many people are talking, excited for
- 12:14the event to begin. You're not sure what the event
- 12:20is exactly. You just know everyone is going
- 12:22and you should be there. You wonder if your seat, if you
- 12:27can call it that, will be taken. You came earlier to to reserve a
- 12:32seat, but it seemed even then, an hour before the event, every
- 12:36seat was already reserved with coats and books.
- 12:40You did find one spot high up in the northeast corner of the
- 12:44stadium. It really isn't a seat, just a
- 12:48step of sorts on the highest tier against the windows.
- 12:53You should have come earlier, but at least it's a spot, a
- 12:55place for for you. When you return.
- 12:59You left a book there to save the spot, but you wonder if it
- 13:02will now be taken. Your seat is on the other side
- 13:06of the stadium. From where you are now.
- 13:09It might have been better that you had entered a door on that
- 13:12side of the stadium. As you make your way along the
- 13:15upper tier, you look down to the floor and see those seated on
- 13:19the rostrum below. You see some of the honored
- 13:22guests, it seems. You make brief eye contact with
- 13:27the keynote speaker and he nods ever so slightly in your
- 13:32direction. When you checked in at the at
- 13:36the registration table, your name was not on the list because
- 13:39it was misspelled. They tried to correct it while
- 13:43you waited, but finally told you to just go in anyway.
- 13:46It is still misspelled so no one will know you were there.
- 13:51As you get to the back end of the stadium, you realize the
- 13:54event includes a meal you didn't know, that you should have come
- 13:59earlier. There are tables at the far end,
- 14:02behind the rostrum and under the seats.
- 14:05You don't want to pass up a meal, and you find a vacant spot
- 14:08at the end of the table. People all around you are
- 14:11talking and laughing. Servers are running around,
- 14:14largely cleaning up. You finally get the attention of
- 14:17one of them and he says he will bring you your meal.
- 14:21People are leaving the dining area to take their seat as the
- 14:24event is about to begin. The server brings your food but
- 14:29forgets to bring silverware. Silverware.
- 14:32The food is cold and there isn't time now to eat anyway to get
- 14:36and get to your seat before the event begins.
- 14:40You wonder if you should just leave.
- 14:42No one will notice whether you stay or go.
- 14:46No one will know you were ever there.
- 14:49You are surrounded by 10s of thousands of people, but you are
- 14:54alone. You're not even one of the crowd
- 14:57because everyone else is with someone laughing and talking.
- 15:00You're just alone. It's not the end of the world,
- 15:05you're used to it. You just know you're nobody.
- 15:11That dream is reality for many. An elderly woman feels much the
- 15:19same way as she is walking with her daughter.
- 15:23Actually my wife, she says, I know your father and I are not
- 15:29good enough for celestial life. The daughter, my wife is
- 15:34surprised her faithful mother would say such a thing, or even
- 15:39think it as a temple worthy, faithful woman of God who with
- 15:44her faithful husband raised their family and lied in truth
- 15:47of the restored gospel, served faithfully in various callings,
- 15:52including as senior missionaries and as temple workers for
- 15:57decades. If she had actually been the
- 16:01stake Relief Society president, true and faithful to their
- 16:05covenants as much as anyone. The daughter, my wife Jackie
- 16:10asks. Why?
- 16:13Why do you think that? Why did you say that?
- 16:18She replied. We're just simple and small.
- 16:23We're nobodies. We haven't done anything
- 16:26significant. Your father was never a high
- 16:30priest, and he was only a home teacher and counselor in the
- 16:34Sunday school presidency and a deacons quorum advisor.
- 16:41This the self-image or belief of this mother, grandmother and
- 16:48great grandmother at the age of 85 is as common as it is false
- 16:55and destructive. What she was really saying is
- 17:00we're not prominent. Prominence is a big problem.
- 17:06What do these popular illustrations of Christ have in
- 17:10common as to how he is portrayed or depicted?
- 17:15As with all art of Christ, he is prominent.
- 17:19We wouldn't expect him to be depicted in any other way.
- 17:23The problem is He invites us to follow him and become like Him
- 17:29and we appropriately view him as prominent and unconsciously
- 17:34conclude we must be prominent to or fail our life purpose.
- 17:41We look to other inspiring people, living apostles and
- 17:45prophets, local leaders, the Prophet Joseph Smith and and we
- 17:51admire them as we should. We may be inspired to be more
- 17:56like them. One of the characteristics they
- 17:59all have in common is prominence, and this blurry
- 18:04notion forms that prominence is an essential feature along the
- 18:10path to self fulfillment and eternal life.
- 18:14The more prominent you become, the greater you are, the better
- 18:19you are, or so we think. You may watch an entire state
- 18:26convene to sustain a new state presidency and feel simple and
- 18:31small because you were not even considered.
- 18:34No one even talked to you, much less called to such a prominent
- 18:39position. You see people called to preside
- 18:43here and there, and yet yet you fly unnoticed under the radar.
- 18:49A conclusion settles in. I'm nobody failing in life, or
- 18:56at best just getting by. Or maybe worse.
- 18:59You think I am somebody, but no one else knows that, and
- 19:04resentment and frustration settle in.
- 19:08Neither greatness nor prominence is unsuited to godliness, but
- 19:13neither is an essential quality of godliness.
- 19:19While Christ is both prominent and great, He did not seek
- 19:24either, which is one of the things that made him prominent
- 19:28and great and distinguished him from Lucifer, who sought glory
- 19:33and recognition for himself. Jesus was not a learned rabbi in
- 19:40the in the traditional sense. He came from an obscure village.
- 19:45He was not from a distinguished family.
- 19:48He had No title, no position, no property, no home.
- 19:52He even said foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have
- 19:57nests, but the Son of Man hath not where to lay his head.
- 20:03He was rejected on every side. He often told others not to tell
- 20:09of His miracles and the good things which He did.
- 20:12He did the will of His Father, not his.
- 20:17John said this. And there are also many other
- 20:20things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written
- 20:24everyone, I suppose that even the world itself could not
- 20:29contain the books that should be written.
- 20:33Even in his prominence, much of what he did has gone unnoticed
- 20:40in the annals of history. At no time has the Lord said we
- 20:46should seek to be either prominent or great.
- 20:49In fact, He said the opposite. His his own disciples struggled
- 20:54with this very same misguided aspiration.
- 20:59Which is only to say they were they were human.
- 21:03The natural desire for recognition is strong, and it is
- 21:06stronger in those who are less aware or settled about who they
- 21:11really are. I repeat, the natural desire for
- 21:16recognition as is strong, and it is stronger in those who are
- 21:21less aware or settled about who they are.
- 21:25We probably don't fully appreciate how difficult,
- 21:29confusing and unsettling it was for Christ's disciples who daily
- 21:34were with the most this most extraordinary man, doing the
- 21:39most extraordinary things, thronged with people who would
- 21:43take extraordinary measures just to see him.
- 21:47How does one measure up to that? In the Gospel of Mark it is
- 21:54recorded that on one occasion Christ came to Capernaum, and
- 22:00being in the house, he asked the disciples, What was it that you
- 22:05disputed among yourselves by the way?
- 22:08But they held their peace, for by the way they had disputed
- 22:11among themselves who should be greatest.
- 22:16And he sat down, and called the 12 and saith unto them, If any
- 22:21man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and
- 22:25servant of all. And And he took a child, and he
- 22:30set him in the midst of them. And when he had taken him in his
- 22:34arms, he said, Whosoever shall receive 1 of such children in my
- 22:40name receiveth me, and whosoever shall receive me shall receive
- 22:46not me, but him that sent me. That was one day.
- 22:54The very, the very next day, I think it's the very next day,
- 22:58James and John, along with their mother, approach Jesus and have
- 23:02the temerity to ask grant unto us that we may sit one on thy
- 23:09right hand and the other on thy left hand in thy glory.
- 23:16Again. They were aspiring to
- 23:19prominence, greatness apparently prodded, it seems, by their
- 23:25mother. They were known as the sons of
- 23:27Thunder, James and John, and I think she was probably the
- 23:32Thunder. Among other things, he repeated
- 23:36much of what he told them just the day before, saying this.
- 23:41You know that they which are accounted to rule over the
- 23:44Gentiles exercise lordship over them, and their great and their
- 23:49great ones exercise authority upon them prominence.
- 23:55But so shall it not be among you.
- 23:59But whosoever will be great among you shall be your
- 24:05minister, And whosoever of you will be the chiefest shall be
- 24:10the servant of all. For even the Son of Man came not
- 24:15to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a
- 24:20ransom for many. The Lord sets our sights on the
- 24:26pinnacle of man's greatest potential to quietly become like
- 24:33him, and says that requires learning to be Listen to this.
- 24:39That requires learning to be the least and the servant of all.
- 24:47He said He that is ordained of God, and sent forth the same as
- 24:51appointed to be the greatest, notwithstanding he is the least
- 24:57and servant of all. The Lord also taught that when
- 25:02thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right
- 25:07hand doeth, that thine alms may be in secret, and thy father,
- 25:14which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.
- 25:21He also said Those who sound a trumpet or seek to be seen of
- 25:24men have their reward. Other.
- 25:29Boyd K Packer said this some years ago in the Philippines.
- 25:34We. Arrived early for a conference.
- 25:37Sitting on the curb was a father and a mother and four small
- 25:41children dressed in their Sunday best.
- 25:44They'd come several hours on a bus and we're having the first
- 25:48meal of the day. Each of them was eating a cob of
- 25:52cold boiled corn. The cost of the bus to Manila
- 25:57probably came out of their food budget.
- 26:02As I watched that family, my heart overflowed with emotion.
- 26:08There is the church, there is the power, there is the future.
- 26:14As with families in many lands, they pay their tithing, sustain
- 26:19their leaders, and do their best to serve.
- 26:22My wife and I do not expect reward for ourselves greater
- 26:27than will come to our own children or to our parents.
- 26:32We do not press, nor do we really want our children to set
- 26:37great prominence and visibility in the world or even in the
- 26:42church as their goal in life. That has so very little to do
- 26:48with the worth of the soul. They will fulfill our dreams if
- 26:53they live the gospel and raise their children in faith.
- 26:57Isaiah prophesied the destruction of all the great and
- 27:01prominent nations of the day, Babylon, Assyria, Philistia,
- 27:06Moab, Damascus, Syria, Samaria, Ethiopia, Egypt, Duma, Arabia
- 27:14and Tyre. They are now dust in the wind,
- 27:18hardly even a distant memory. Who is there now to proclaim
- 27:23their glory? Where are they today as Jehovah
- 27:27continues his great work, gathering Israel from among all
- 27:31nations to his Kingdom, which will stand forever in contrast
- 27:38to the great nations of the of the world?
- 27:40Imagine a couple who quietly rely on the Lord and are sealed
- 27:46together for time and eternity. They labor to build up the
- 27:50Kingdom of God, beginning in their own home.
- 27:53They raise their children and lied in truth.
- 27:56They share the gospel with others, work to identify their
- 28:00ancestors, and receive temple ordinances and their behalf.
- 28:05Who will remember and honor their names while the great
- 28:10nations of the earth fade into oblivion, Generations and
- 28:15thousands upon thousands in both directions of time will remember
- 28:20and honor them. They will not be forgotten, not
- 28:27ever. There is quiet greatness all
- 28:32around us, but we don't see it because it's not prominent.
- 28:38Prominence, greatness, and godliness may coincide, but
- 28:43there is no correlation between them.
- 28:47One may approach a Christ like life despite prominence, not
- 28:51because of it. Prominence is not godliness.
- 29:02So here's another question. Are you special?
- 29:09If you want to make the case for you being special, there's a lot
- 29:13to support it. For starters, and to repeat, you
- 29:17are a child of God, created physically in the image of God,
- 29:21and spiritually. You are first generation progeny
- 29:26of Heavenly Parents, filled with intelligence that vitalizes and
- 29:31informs every cell of your body in ways you don't begin to
- 29:35comprehend. You are more intelligent than
- 29:39you imagined. That makes you special among all
- 29:44creatures, but not so within the human family who all share the
- 29:47same divine parentage. So consider that prior to this
- 29:52life, you made a critical decision to align with Heavenly
- 29:55Father's plan endorsed by Jesus Christ. 1/3 of God's children,
- 30:021/3 of the hosts of heaven rejected that plan, rejected
- 30:08God, our Father, Christ, and agency in favor of Lucifer, who
- 30:12promised success and salvation for everyone.
- 30:17Those who rebelled with Lucifer were thrust down from Heaven to
- 30:21earth, as the Scripture says, as lightning fall from heaven
- 30:27without mortal bodies. And thus came the devil and his
- 30:31angels. By that score, you are you're 2
- 30:37out of three. That's that's OK, that's good,
- 30:40but not all that impressive, not all that special.
- 30:43So let's let's continue with the math.
- 30:46The Bible Dictionary says this. Although 1/3 of the spirits
- 30:51became devils, the remaining 2/3 were not all equally valiant,
- 30:57there being every degree of devotion to Christ and the
- 31:01Father among them. The most diligent were chosen to
- 31:05be rulers in the Kingdom. End Quote.
- 31:10You have been blessed to come to earth during the dispensation of
- 31:13the fullness of times, with all the blessings of the fullness of
- 31:17the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As I said before, even before
- 31:22you were born, you, as the Scripture records with many
- 31:27others, received your first lessons in the world of spirits
- 31:31and were prepared to come forth in the due time of the Lord to
- 31:35labor in His vineyard for the salvation of the souls of men.
- 31:41President Russell M Nelson declared you were taught in the.
- 31:46Spirit World to prepare you for anything and everything you
- 31:50would encounter during this latter part of these latter
- 31:54days. That teaching endures within
- 31:57you, he said. In comparison to the world
- 32:02population, maybe 7.8 billion, you are one in 500.
- 32:09If you assume half of the membership of the church today
- 32:14are faithful. Using the ratio from the parable
- 32:18of the 10 virgins, 5 out of 10, you are one in 1000.
- 32:24If you compare the faithful today against the estimated
- 32:28total number of people whoever lived on the earth, maybe 100
- 32:33billion. You are one in 12,500.
- 32:39Whether you agree with the math and the underlying assumptions
- 32:42or not, it is clear you are special and you have a bright
- 32:48future ahead of you. When the Lord revealed the name
- 32:58of the Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
- 33:02Saints, He put your name next to His.
- 33:08His is the Kingdom, the glory and the power.
- 33:11But it's also you, our Kingdom, because He gives it to us that
- 33:15we share in His glory and power as well.
- 33:20Although we don't deserve it, our name is next to His.
- 33:26We have equal billing with Him. He made us Co stars with Him,
- 33:32that we become Co workers with Him, that we become Co heirs
- 33:36with Him. The name of the church is an
- 33:40invitation to engage in the work of God.
- 33:44Speaking of God's work on earth, President Russell M Nelson also
- 33:48said this You. Were sent to earth at this
- 33:51precise time, the most crucial time in the history of the
- 33:55world, to help gather Israel, and the Lord is hastening His
- 33:59work to gather Israel. That gathering is the most
- 34:04important thing taking place on Earth today.
- 34:07Nothing else compares in magnitude.
- 34:10Nothing else compares importance.
- 34:13Nothing else compares in majesty.
- 34:16For Latter Day Saints, the question is not merely to which
- 34:20church do you belong, rather, what work do you have to do?
- 34:26Don't ever think your life has little or no purpose.
- 34:29It couldn't be grander that which art in heaven hath place
- 34:34on earth as well make way for heaven on earth.
- 34:45The voice of the natural man says go your own way, do your
- 34:50own thing. Don't be a cookie cutter Mormon,
- 34:53just be yourself. It is one of the reasons the
- 34:56Lord gave for the restoration that in his words every man
- 35:02walketh in his own way and after the image of his own God, whose
- 35:07image is in the likeness of the world.
- 35:11The flame of individuality burns brightly, and some more in some
- 35:17than others. But the concern about losing 1's
- 35:21individuality is silly because we are all so different anyway.
- 35:26There is no reason to believe that will change.
- 35:30The Lord said These two facts do exist, that there are two
- 35:35spirits, one being more intelligent than there than the
- 35:39other. There shall be another more
- 35:41intelligent than they. I am the Lord thy God.
- 35:46I am more intelligent than they all like snowflakes or
- 35:52fingerprints. No two people are alike.
- 35:56While there may be many similarities, our different
- 36:00journeys make each of us unique. Different from everyone else, we
- 36:04are each the product of our particular experiences.
- 36:10All that we have seen, heard, read, felt, said, thought and
- 36:14done, both here on earth and before combine to make each of
- 36:19us who we are different from everyone else.
- 36:24And that is a good thing. Like stones of different sizes
- 36:30and shapes that fit together to form the foundation of a of a
- 36:35temple. It is because of our differences
- 36:39that we can be, in the words of the scripture, fitly framed
- 36:44together unto an an holy temple in the Lord.
- 36:56So, in summary, you are a child of the Almighty God, infused
- 37:06with divine intelligence, with limitless potential, and yet
- 37:13weak and prone to fall. You are a disciple of Jesus
- 37:18Christ and a Latter Day Saints, standing on common ground with
- 37:23all other Saints, prepared from the foundations of the world for
- 37:28the great work of this last dispensation.
- 37:32And to that end, God is with you and will stand by you.
- 37:38So where have we been and where are we going now in this series?
- 37:46In in this and and the prior episode, we have considered your
- 37:50dual nature, both divine and natural, who you were before
- 37:57this life and your preparations there for what you are to do
- 38:01here in this life. In the next episode, we will
- 38:05consider who you are within the circumstances of your life here
- 38:09and now. I hope you will join me then.
- 38:14Thank you.
