Big Tex is getting a major wardrobe upgrade—starting in 2026, he’ll don gear from Texas legends Cavender’s Boot City and Resistol, marking a full-circle moment for both brands with deep roots in Texas heritage. Cavender’s, a Western wear giant since 1965, and Resistol, whose first hat debuted at the 1936 Texas Centennial, are teaming up to honor the state’s spirit.
