- 0:19a year. We hope you enjoy this message. A guy sits down at
- 0:29a movie theater and notices that the man in front of him has brought his
- 0:34dog and is sitting in the seat next to him. He thinks it's unusual,
- 0:40but he likes dogs, so he decides that as long as it's not
- 0:44a distraction, he won't mention it. The movie starts, and pretty soon
- 0:49there's a funny part. The dog makes some low wolfing sounds that seem like
- 0:55laughter. In a little while, there's a sad part and the dog appears
- 1:00to be weeping. This continues throughout the movie, and the man sitting behind
- 1:06the dog is astounded. When the lights come up, he taps the dog's
- 1:11owner on the shoulder and tells him, I gotta say, I know it
- 1:15sounds weird, but it seems like your dog really enjoyed this movie. The
- 1:22dog owner looks at the dog and nods. I know it really is weird,
- 1:29he says, because he absolutely hated the book. Life does not always
- 1:46go as planned. Have you ever had a bad experience turn into something good?

- 4:01within challenges. What seems like misfortune may in truth be a disguised gift.
- 4:10Adversity, though daunting, invites growth, resilience, and unexpected opportunities. Through
- 4:17trials, we discover strength we never knew. Existent failures steer us toward valuable
- 4:25blessings, redirecting our paths towards unforeseen success. These apparent setbacks often unravel into
- 4:34transformative moments, propelling personal evolution. Embracing the notion that bad things can be
- 4:42blessings in disguise, foster's resilience and a profound appreciation for the intricate dance of
- 4:49fate. It is within these challenges that the silver linings, bright and unforeseen,
- 4:57illuminate our journey with un expected radiance. Listen to what Joseph Campbell said
- 5:09in his Reflections on the Art of Living. Nietzsche was the one who did
- 5:16the job for me at a certain moment in his life, the idea came
- 5:21to him of what he called the love of your fate. Whatever your fate
- 5:28is, whatever the hell happens to you, you say, this is what
- 5:33I need. It may look like a wreck but go at it as though
- 5:40it were an opportunity, a challenge. If you bring love to that moment,
- 5:45not discouragement, you will find the strength. Is there any disaster you
- 5:50can survive is an improvement in your character, your stature, and your life.
- 5:57What a privilege this is when the spontaneity of your own nature will have
- 6:01a chance to flow. Then, when looking back at your life, you
- 6:08will see that the moments which seem to be great failures followed by wreckage were
- 6:14the incidents that shaped your life that you have now, you'll see that this
- 6:18is really true. Nothing can happen to you that is not positive. Even
- 6:25though it looks and feels at the moment like a negative crisis, it is
- 6:29not. The crisis throws you back, and when you are required to exhibit
- 6:33strength, it comes. Thank you for joining us today. Please consider taking
