- 1:38Speaker 3: you never remember, like he put some thought into some
- 1:41Speaker 3: gifts for us last year.
- 1:42Speaker 2: This year, there's a there's a twist on it. Yeah's twisty.
- 1:45Speaker 2: A modern twist. You're still very grateful for what you
- 1:48Speaker 2: got last Yeah, I'm hear to be regrateful. And Greg,
- 1:54Speaker 2: I know you're excited.
- 1:55Speaker 3: We have radio's most immature guests, whose guests talking the
- 2:01Speaker 3: trending news headlines. Metsca tell's what's happening in the world
- 2:03Speaker 3: of entertainment. We got the birthday's point of birthday all
- 2:06Speaker 3: on the way here on the Woody Show. Uh dumbas
- 2:10Speaker 3: Tyler handed this to me. And you know, we're always
- 2:12Speaker 3: good for for fun facts or you know, uh to
- 2:15Speaker 3: know a little bit more about about certain things. But
- 2:18Speaker 3: also like kind of in a in a conspiracy sort
- 2:20Speaker 3: of way, industry secrets that the public doesn't know until now.
- 2:26Speaker 3: See until now, like every job industry has like a
- 2:29Speaker 3: dirty little secret that everybody else in the industry knows about,
- 2:32Speaker 3: but outside nobody really does. And so people were asked,
- 2:36Speaker 3: what is a dirty secret of your industry that the
- 2:39Speaker 3: general public does not know but everybody in the field does.
- 2:42Speaker 3: And Uh, I'll just give you a few things that
- 2:44Speaker 3: were that were on the list. Okay, Uh, grocery stores,
- 2:49Speaker 3: because Greg, this is a big thing for you, Nemesis.
- 2:53Speaker 3: The amount of food waste is unfathomed to think about
- 2:57Speaker 3: it with damaged boxes of perfectly good food being tossed
- 3:00Speaker 3: out instead of marked down the waist because like the
- 3:03Speaker 3: boxes are jacked up or the cans. I always wondered, like,
- 3:06Speaker 3: what's what is there? Like when when you see like
- 3:09Speaker 3: a like a can of whatever it is dented.
- 3:12Speaker 4: Yeah, they still sell it, but we're not supposed to.
- 3:14Speaker 2: But you know why, like what like what can happen?
- 3:16Speaker 2: Like what's.
- 3:18Speaker 4: Well, yeah, because it's not air tight anymore, right.
- 3:20Speaker 5: Potentially you don't know potentially potentially, but I always saw
- 3:24Speaker 5: like food banks showed up every night, and I mean
- 3:26Speaker 5: I worked at four different grocery stores.
- 3:28Speaker 2: We didn't have a huge amount of waste at all.
- 3:30Speaker 2: I think this is a liar, Yeah, full of crap.
- 3:33Speaker 6: It's about I'm buying the dented cans.
- 3:35Speaker 4: Yes, really, Yeah, you're not supposed to.
- 3:38Speaker 6: Like you're fine get them because they're marked down.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yeah you're fine.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Okay, you're still here.
- 3:42Speaker 7: I am.
- 3:43Speaker 8: Okay.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I mentioned before, like you know, I've eat my weight
- 3:45Speaker 2: in raw cookie dough.
- 3:46Speaker 4: And the only reason I know.
- 3:50Speaker 9: That is because in school when you did the food drive,
- 3:52Speaker 9: they always say if you bring a dented can, we're
- 3:54Speaker 9: throwing it out.
- 3:54Speaker 4: It's not safe.
- 3:55Speaker 3: I don't I don't know anything about golf other than
- 3:57Speaker 3: going like a top golf or driving range kind of thing,
- 3:59Speaker 3: or any golf you know, but uh, industry secrets in
- 4:02Speaker 3: the public doesn't know. Somebody from the the industry said,
- 4:04Speaker 3: the latest and greatest golf clubs and equipment aren't any better,
- 4:08Speaker 3: and the stuff that was already available last year. The
- 4:11Speaker 3: technology has been maxed out for years now. Of course,
- 4:14Speaker 3: ye just put a different spin or a different whatever.
- 4:17Speaker 8: On their.
- 4:19Speaker 2: I did hear. The best thing that you can do
- 4:21Speaker 2: is actually get yourself measured for the right equipment. Because
- 4:25Speaker 2: people just buy equipment and never measure what they actually need.
- 4:29Speaker 2: You can't improve your game.
- 4:31Speaker 3: Like when it comes to call centers, when they say
- 4:34Speaker 3: a call is being recorded, that includes while you're on hold.
- 4:37Speaker 3: So just because you can't hear them doesn't mean that
- 4:39Speaker 3: they can't hear you or that part's not being recorded.
- 4:42Speaker 2: That is really good to know.
- 4:44Speaker 3: That's why that's where I'm gonna mother f them from
- 4:46Speaker 3: now all right on hold and when they use that
- 4:48Speaker 3: to train future employees.
- 4:50Speaker 4: Oh my god, that's good to know.
- 4:51Speaker 3: What's an industry secret that that you know about, but
- 4:55Speaker 3: the general public does not when it comes to medical billing.
- 4:57Speaker 3: The number of medical billing mistakes mind blowing, which yeah, okay,
- 5:01Speaker 3: but the average person doesn't understand how it works. Most
- 5:03Speaker 3: people end up paying what the bill says, when in
- 5:06Speaker 3: reality they owe a lot less than that.
- 5:09Speaker 8: The whole industry is confusing.
- 5:10Speaker 2: Yeah, I told you.
- 5:12Speaker 3: We have a we have a coworker in this building
- 5:14Speaker 3: who makes unbelievable money, makes really good money, seven figures,
- 5:19Speaker 3: seven figures, who whenever they get a bill from the
- 5:23Speaker 3: doctor or the hospital, they will call and go, yeah,
- 5:26Speaker 3: I just can't I just can't do the full thing
- 5:28Speaker 3: right now. But the best I could do, Like if
- 5:30Speaker 3: if you want payment in full, like right now, the
- 5:32Speaker 3: best I can do is two hundred bucks, and it
- 5:33Speaker 3: could be for like eight hundred bucks, and they will settle,
- 5:36Speaker 3: Like nine times out of ten they will settle. No
- 5:39Speaker 3: questions asked, the charging anyway, They just got their Moneyeah.
- 5:43Speaker 3: But I'm like, I don't know if that's brilliant or
- 5:45Speaker 3: the fact that he makes the he makes decent money
- 5:47Speaker 3: and the people who like really need that. I could see,
- 5:49Speaker 3: you know, using that, and okay, fine, not that I
- 5:52Speaker 3: want to pay anymore than what I'm supposed to pay.
- 5:55Speaker 3: But I, like my guilty conscience, would I don't know,
- 5:58Speaker 3: I don't I don't know if I could do it.
- 6:00Speaker 4: Well, there's no reason to do it.
- 6:02Speaker 3: No, there's no reason for him to do it. But
- 6:03Speaker 3: I'm saying, I'm saying people, But he was telling me
- 6:06Speaker 3: in a way like, oh, no, whatever, you get it.
- 6:07Speaker 1: This is what you do.
- 6:08Speaker 9: Here's what its like, theft, Like, we're all going to
- 6:10Speaker 9: pay more because he's doing this.
- 6:11Speaker 2: It's the power again, they're stealing from us. Yeah, truly,
- 6:17Speaker 2: what was it?
- 6:18Speaker 3: There was just something I saw where, you know, the
- 6:20Speaker 3: average hospital for a bag of basically saline, which costs
- 6:23Speaker 3: they say, on average a dollar and seventy some cents
- 6:26Speaker 3: to produce. Total that includes like the packaging, the shipping,
- 6:30Speaker 3: the whole thing a dollar seventy something, they will charge
- 6:33Speaker 3: over one thousand dollars for.
- 6:34Speaker 2: Screw when it hits the billing.
- 6:36Speaker 10: Good.
- 6:36Speaker 4: I'm glad he did this.
- 6:37Speaker 8: I was only successful with that once, and it wasn't
- 6:39Speaker 8: by negotiating, it was by ignoring them. And the bill
- 6:42Speaker 8: went from nine hundred to four hundred to two hundred
- 6:45Speaker 8: to we're sending this to collections unless you send us
- 6:48Speaker 8: seventy bucks. All right, here you go.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Industry secrets to the public. Doesn't know mathematics all right.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Some schools have their wrecks. Some schools have their highest
- 6:58Speaker 3: level of mathematics classes by the worst teachers. They don't
- 7:02Speaker 3: explain things because they can't relate to people who need explanation,
- 7:05Speaker 3: and the school figures the students in that class don't
- 7:08Speaker 3: need explanation.
- 7:09Speaker 4: That's fair.
- 7:10Speaker 2: How is this an industry secret?
- 7:11Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 7:11Speaker 3: I mean, how do they assign teachers that different stresses?
- 7:14Speaker 3: Maybe I guess, I don't know. It's silver stretch restaurants.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Most restaurants would fail a normal health inspection if the
- 7:20Speaker 3: health inspectors showed up at normal business.
- 7:22Speaker 8: Now, I don't want to know. I don't want to see.
- 7:25Speaker 6: Yeah, every time they show up where I worked, like
- 7:27Speaker 6: everyone was in a panic.
- 7:29Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 7:30Speaker 3: Pharmacy. The number of times in a day pharmacy texts
- 7:34Speaker 3: prevent a prescriber error that could leave a patient in
- 7:37Speaker 3: the hospital or could you know, put you the hospital
- 7:39Speaker 3: or dead. It is not huge, but it's almost never zero.
- 7:44Speaker 8: Is the industry's secret that a pharmacist knows how to
- 7:46Speaker 8: read and count.
- 7:48Speaker 3: Neat all eyeglass frames are marked up, even the cheap ones.
- 7:53Speaker 3: A pair that comes in for ten dollars will be
- 7:55Speaker 3: marked up and sold for one hundred bucks. I did
- 7:57Speaker 3: see an interesting story, like a behind behind the story
- 8:02Speaker 3: thing about the guys who started Warby Parker. Yeah, because
- 8:07Speaker 3: they were working in the industry. I guess all the
- 8:09Speaker 3: places so like lens crafters, all those, it's all the
- 8:12Speaker 3: same thing, right, And so it's kind of this fix
- 8:15Speaker 3: you're we're all screwed, Like you just pay whatever it is.
- 8:18Speaker 3: And so to get anything decent, that's why I cost
- 8:21Speaker 3: you like a bajillion dollars. And so these warbur war
- 8:24Speaker 3: Werbert whatever, Warby Parker, I forget. There are two dudes, right,
- 8:28Speaker 3: these two friends, I guess, and they decided that, okay,
- 8:31Speaker 3: well we can come up with like designer looking frames
- 8:34Speaker 3: and they look the same as these other things they do,
- 8:36Speaker 3: except they're going to be and we'll send everything to
- 8:38Speaker 3: your house. You can try different things on. And so
- 8:40Speaker 3: now I forget what that company's worth. But it's worth
- 8:43Speaker 3: so much money, and you can get super affordable, really
- 8:46Speaker 3: cool looking, uh, without getting caught in that setup of
- 8:51Speaker 3: like all these guys are all like we're talking about
- 8:53Speaker 3: how orbits Expedia travelized.
- 8:55Speaker 2: It's all the same. Most of the sunglass companies are
- 8:58Speaker 2: all the same.
- 8:59Speaker 9: The manufacturers like the high end luxury brand. They're stamping
- 9:02Speaker 9: it one way and sending the other stuff another way,
- 9:04Speaker 9: like they're all the same glasses.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Yeah, and then i'll give you, I'll give you one
- 9:08Speaker 3: more than We'll move on city work. Most of the
- 9:10Speaker 3: recycle bins that you see in downtown areas, they're thrown
- 9:13Speaker 3: in with the regular trash. I've seen so many videos
- 9:16Speaker 3: of this where they show the city garbage truck showing
- 9:19Speaker 3: up to the park and they have the three different
- 9:20Speaker 3: containers right yep, and they'll open all three up and
- 9:23Speaker 3: the guy's throwing all three into the back of the
- 9:26Speaker 3: same damn truck and then putting him back like here's
- 9:28Speaker 3: the recycle on, here's the regular theater.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Oh so much theater.
- 9:32Speaker 3: Most cities don't want to spend the money to buy
- 9:34Speaker 3: a separate recycling truck for their recycle stuff.
- 9:38Speaker 8: So I found myself caring way less about recycling. Yeah,
- 9:41Speaker 8: like I'll have a can ash throwing the trash exactly right,
- 9:44Speaker 8: because I don't want to get duped. Well, well, there
- 9:46Speaker 8: you go some industry secrets of the public. Doesn't no,
- 9:49Speaker 8: well right, good job dumbask Tyler come up with the
- 9:51Speaker 8: with something fun.
- 9:53Speaker 2: We're gonna take a quick break.
- 9:54Speaker 11: Phones.
- 9:54Speaker 3: We're open eight seven seven forty four Woodie text us.

- 10:38Speaker 2: The universe has a way of leading you to where
- 10:40Speaker 2: you're supposed to be.
- 10:42Speaker 11: How the mamas you're supposed to be there.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Looks the Woodie Shows.
- 10:48Speaker 3: H Welcome back, everybody, THI Today's Wednesday, December the tenth.
- 10:53Speaker 2: How about this day and history minutes? All right, love
- 10:56Speaker 2: it give us today. In nineteen nineteen.
- 11:00Speaker 3: That the National League voted to ban the spitball's use
- 11:04Speaker 3: by all new pictures. Oh yeah, so the spitball was
- 11:08Speaker 3: Uh then they started doing snot right, Uh, I mean
- 11:13Speaker 3: that there were that they're like, uh what they call
- 11:15Speaker 3: the little filing nail filer.
- 11:16Speaker 2: Where they emery boards. Yeah, people all that stuff.
- 11:21Speaker 3: Uh, you see all kinds of stuff these guys are
- 11:23Speaker 3: using too, Like, uh, they'll spray the bat, like the
- 11:27Speaker 3: stuff that they're gonna can they spray, But you can
- 11:29Speaker 3: only spray it up to like a certain point on
- 11:33Speaker 3: on the bat, Like it can't be anymore like down
- 11:35Speaker 3: toward the barrel.
- 11:35Speaker 2: Camp An.
- 11:36Speaker 3: There's all the like I'm thinking, like, what's that You're
- 11:40Speaker 3: hitting a round ball the round bat? Like, let's let
- 11:42Speaker 3: people use all this stuff. Let's bring in pine tar,
- 11:45Speaker 3: quark bats, steroids.
- 11:47Speaker 11: Yeah, all that.
- 11:47Speaker 2: I want to see someone launch one of the moon
- 11:49Speaker 2: Well that's coming pretty soon right in Vegas. I think
- 11:52Speaker 2: they have a date set for like the enhanced games. Yeah,
- 11:56Speaker 2: that'd be cool. Also, you see in football where to
- 12:00Speaker 2: have like all this sticky stuff. It's like so yeah,
- 12:04Speaker 2: so sticky that they can't even get the ball off
- 12:05Speaker 2: their hands.
- 12:06Speaker 3: Yeah, today is an International Animal Rights Day, and uh,
- 12:11Speaker 3: of course that's a listed above Human Rights Day on
- 12:16Speaker 3: the on the list, Today is Dewey Decimal System Day,
- 12:20Speaker 3: all right, I remember learning about that in school. It's
- 12:22Speaker 3: a Nobel Prize Day. And today, for you beer fans,
- 12:25Speaker 3: it's National Logger Day. We got the birthday's porn of
- 12:30Speaker 3: Birthday come up here. In the second first mensico, tell
- 12:32Speaker 3: us what's happening in the world of entertainment. Well, one
- 12:34Speaker 3: of your favorites, Greg Jason Bateman admits that he and
- 12:38Speaker 3: his older sister.
- 12:39Speaker 8: Justine Justine, Yeah, I met her. I've never met him.
- 12:43Speaker 2: They don't see each other too much. Yes, it isn't
- 12:46Speaker 2: a typical relationship. They pretty much don't hang out on
- 12:49Speaker 2: Thanksgiving or Christmas. Their conversations are rich, but they're mostly
- 12:55Speaker 2: like with an adult friend, not like as siblings. And
- 12:58Speaker 2: I thought like in the early days they were kind
- 13:00Speaker 2: of like see together all the time.
- 13:03Speaker 8: Right, Yeah, I have a feeling this might be political
- 13:06Speaker 8: because I know they're political polar opposites.
- 13:10Speaker 2: Between them.
- 13:11Speaker 4: So stupid and she has nothing to do with acting anymore.
- 13:14Speaker 4: She's like a computer coder.
- 13:16Speaker 8: Yeah, so I think that's that would be my guest.
- 13:19Speaker 2: But I do have a theory outside of politics, is
- 13:22Speaker 2: that you watched the HBO uh series that they did
- 13:26Speaker 2: where they were falling around his podcast Spartless, Yes, with
- 13:30Speaker 2: who's else.
- 13:31Speaker 8: That would be It's.
- 13:36Speaker 4: And Will Arnette Will And.
- 13:38Speaker 2: It's kind of like a docu series of them like
- 13:40Speaker 2: going City City and doing their podcast live, and they
- 13:43Speaker 2: were kind of it was so funny because they were
- 13:45Speaker 2: kind of always ripping on Jason for being kind of.
- 13:48Speaker 8: A diva, total diva total, like he's very food obsessed
- 13:52Speaker 8: and you know what organic stuff he'll ye.
- 13:55Speaker 2: They were constantly making fun of him.
- 13:56Speaker 8: Yeah, he gave off diva energy.
- 14:00Speaker 2: That might be part of it, but it was funny.
- 14:02Speaker 2: I liked it. So yeah, I look that up on
- 14:05Speaker 2: That's on HBO Max Spartless and also of course this
- 14:08Speaker 2: SmartLess podcast. Do you listen to that at all?
- 14:11Speaker 11: I do?
- 14:11Speaker 8: No, I just watched the show.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I just watched the show as well. All right now
- 14:16Speaker 2: for seemmy, Yes, did you know there are twenty new
- 14:21Speaker 2: harm Hallmark Christmas movies that are available right now on
- 14:25Speaker 2: Hallmark Plus twenty.
- 14:28Speaker 4: But I've watched a lot.
- 14:29Speaker 6: There's been a lot.
- 14:30Speaker 13: They're being released weekly, so there I've been seeing about
- 14:34Speaker 13: three or four a week basically on what they're outing big,
- 14:38Speaker 13: but I didn't know twenty. Well, actually that makes sense.
- 14:41Speaker 13: Yeah yeah, if it's three or four a week for
- 14:42Speaker 13: about five weeks.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Yeah, Well, they've already been rated. And the lowest one
- 14:46Speaker 2: that's coming in is called Christmas Cup and the plot
- 14:51Speaker 2: line is after a knee injury, this woman's career is
- 14:55Speaker 2: cut short and she has to move back home and
- 15:00Speaker 2: she is put she's been placed into a team that's
- 15:04Speaker 2: going up against another town and there's like this, uh
- 15:08Speaker 2: I don't know, kind of like a competition going on,
- 15:11Speaker 2: but she gets a call from the Marines to go
- 15:14Speaker 2: back on the day of the competition, and she realizes that,
- 15:17Speaker 2: you know what, there's a bigger purpose in serving her community.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Oh okay, so that's the lowest rate one. I have
- 15:24Speaker 2: not watched that one, but I do like the girl
- 15:26Speaker 2: that's in it. Okay. I did watch when we were
- 15:28Speaker 2: on the plane back from Dubai. I watched Home Alone.
- 15:31Speaker 14: That's watch which wass yeah some people callins. Yeah, I
- 15:38Speaker 14: watched Grimlins and it was listed under holiday movies.
- 15:42Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, Diehard. Yeah, it's all Christmas, the whole movie.
- 15:47Speaker 2: He's a Christmas gift. Cool Christmas movie.
- 15:51Speaker 4: There's a horrible monologue about Santa in the middle of it.
- 15:54Speaker 6: Yeah, menace. The real question is what was the number
- 15:56Speaker 6: one Hallmark movie?
- 15:57Speaker 3: Well, I do have that, all right, and it's called
- 16:01Speaker 3: what is it called? It's called Weatherman Ted Cooper.
- 16:05Speaker 15: Okay, I did watch that.
- 16:07Speaker 13: I did watch them, and I would agree at this point,
- 16:13Speaker 13: but I really liked Newport Christmas the best, if you're
- 16:15Speaker 13: asking me, which was the time traveling kind.
- 16:18Speaker 2: Of movie, and I really liked it.
- 16:20Speaker 13: They go back in time to the eighteen hundreds in
- 16:22Speaker 13: New Rhode Island, and I really enjoy stuff like that.
- 16:24Speaker 4: But yeah, Ted Cooper is also Yeah.
- 16:27Speaker 2: So if you don't know the block line like Sammy does,
- 16:30Speaker 2: this guy basically just goes back to his hometown. His
- 16:33Speaker 2: sister falls off a ladder, they have to go to
- 16:35Speaker 2: the hospital, and then he sees his high school crush
- 16:38Speaker 2: working out. So it's always the same thing because it works. Yeah,
- 16:43Speaker 2: nickel Back and Metallica, I will say, I.
- 16:46Speaker 13: Do want to say, for the record, for anyone who
- 16:48Speaker 13: cares these are Hallmark movies? Yes, but we know Netflix
- 16:50Speaker 13: and all the other ones also release Christmas movies all
- 16:53Speaker 13: throughout the year. And I would say that the number
- 16:55Speaker 13: one released movie this year on streaming is a very little.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Ex miss on Netflix with sil Slippers.
- 17:03Speaker 15: Don't know.
- 17:04Speaker 3: In Oliver Hudson, it's very good all time. We alverad
- 17:07Speaker 3: asked you all time favorite Christmas movie. We had to
- 17:10Speaker 3: have asked you, like, what's your number one Christmas movie
- 17:12Speaker 3: of all time? Does have to be Hallmark just in
- 17:14Speaker 3: general of all the Christmas movie general number one of
- 17:18Speaker 3: all time?
- 17:19Speaker 13: I mean a Christmas Story is a classic that I
- 17:23Speaker 13: mean is I would have to say that. And then
- 17:25Speaker 13: if I'm going newer ELF, I think those would be.
- 17:28Speaker 2: The Yeah, that's the top five.

- 19:26Speaker 3: Just just just haanging she she tried modeling for a minute,

- 21:34Speaker 8: his wife. I don't know her name, but she's hilarious.
- 21:36Speaker 3: It's just always funny when when Greg starts telling us
- 21:38Speaker 3: about a movie. Half the time, it's like an Amazon Prime.
- 21:41Speaker 8: Yeah, because that's where you find the good ones.
- 21:44Speaker 2: No one's ever heard of, you know it is. It's

- 22:20Speaker 3: person has a movie recommendation for Greg.
- 22:23Speaker 17: I me after show us TOTAYO. Hey, I just wanted
- 22:27Speaker 17: to let mister Goring know, Uh, there's a good movie
- 22:30Speaker 17: on Prime because I know he likes watching Obscure. But
- 22:36Speaker 17: it's called Playdate with Kevin James. It starts out really
- 22:40Speaker 17: super slow and then all of a sudden boom. It's
- 22:43Speaker 17: NonStop action and actually a really good watch.
- 22:46Speaker 18: So that's for Greg.
- 22:48Speaker 17: Love you all, hope you have a great day.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Bye, all right bye.
- 22:52Speaker 8: Somebody else recommended Playdate. I saw the thumbnail for it,
- 22:54Speaker 8: and I think, I guess that'll be my next watch.
- 22:58Speaker 5: Kevin James is the giant guy from Reacher and then
- 23:02Speaker 5: looks like what's his face? Then rude?
- 23:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I think even rud. Of course it's been in
- 23:07Speaker 2: a number of things. Obviously he will forever be Milton
- 23:12Speaker 2: from Office Bace there, and I think it might be
- 23:17Speaker 2: good for Greg because it has a right I like that.
- 23:23Speaker 8: That's that'll be my next watch, that's for sure.
- 23:26Speaker 3: There's so many things that I want to watch that
- 23:28Speaker 3: I don't get around to. And I always like wonder, like,
- 23:30Speaker 3: man's greg really gone through everything that he has wanted
- 23:33Speaker 3: to watch, everything from his watch list, and now he's
- 23:36Speaker 3: like digging into me and just looking at thumbnails and going, yeah,
- 23:39Speaker 3: I'll watch that.
- 23:40Speaker 2: I got time for that looks terrible.
- 23:42Speaker 8: The place for the most random, weirdest and probably their
- 23:46Speaker 8: own parents have never seen these movies is to be
- 23:49Speaker 8: and they have these. I went down this rabbit hole
- 23:51Speaker 8: Woody of revenge genre. Oh yeah, I've done you know,
- 23:55Speaker 8: like you start with uh, I spit on your grave,
- 23:58Speaker 8: which is brutal. Did you see the one with what's
- 24:01Speaker 8: his face? The guy you love is in all the
- 24:03Speaker 8: revenge moviess taken the where he dress a snowplow.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Yes, he's so stupid. It was like that was like,
- 24:08Speaker 3: guy that be ice something I or something I did.
- 24:12Speaker 3: I did the same thing where I went. I was
- 24:14Speaker 3: looking for vengeance movies right because I was like, man,
- 24:16Speaker 3: I watched them. Forget which one it was. I'm like, yes,
- 24:18Speaker 3: I want another one of those. Give me another hit of.
- 24:20Speaker 2: That cold Pursuit, Coldsuit. Yeah. I saw this thing of Liam.
- 24:24Speaker 2: I'm like, ah, well, we'll check it out.
- 24:26Speaker 8: It was the dumbest movie mad Yeah, check out to
- 24:30Speaker 8: me go down the rabbit hole of revenge movies.
- 24:34Speaker 3: Good stuff man, all right, and then share your crappy
- 24:36Speaker 3: movie recommendations with with Greg will probably love them. I
- 24:39Speaker 3: probably will Yeah eight seven seven forty four. Text us
- 24:43Speaker 3: over to two two nine eight seven and we begin
- 24:50Speaker 3: another new hour of in intensitivity training forty politically correct
- 24:54Speaker 3: world by checking in with Gina grad who's got the
- 24:58Speaker 3: news headlines.
- 24:59Speaker 9: One student dead and another is in critical condition after
- 25:02Speaker 9: shooting at Kentucky State University yesterday. Please say this was
- 25:06Speaker 9: not a random active shooter situation. It was more of
- 25:08Speaker 9: an issue between quote the parties involved. The shooter was
- 25:11Speaker 9: not a student at the school and was instead someone
- 25:13Speaker 9: who lived nearby Indiana. He was arrested charged with murder
- 25:17Speaker 9: and first degree assault. Cops say that while the incident
- 25:20Speaker 9: is scary, there is no threat in the area. Everyone
- 25:23Speaker 9: should be safe, but the school is cooperating with police,
- 25:26Speaker 9: but they have canceled school for the rest of the week.
- 25:29Speaker 15: And over in the.
- 25:30Speaker 9: NFL, the Colt season turned upside down last weekend after
- 25:34Speaker 9: QB Daniel Jones ruptured as Achilles during the game.
- 25:37Speaker 3: Man that guy, That guy was stuck on the Giants
- 25:40Speaker 3: and sucked so hard for so long, and now he
- 25:43Speaker 3: goes to Indianapolis. They start the season just on fire,
- 25:47Speaker 3: and then this is the way the season ends for him.
- 25:49Speaker 2: I mean that blows well.
- 25:51Speaker 9: Both backup qbs are hurt so badly, so Indy was
- 25:55Speaker 9: looking at possibly using their tight end at the QB spot.
- 25:59Speaker 4: But help is on the way.
- 26:00Speaker 9: An old retired QB, Philip Rivers, who's a grandfather, Yes, grandpappy.
- 26:07Speaker 9: He's got like ten kids. Yeah, he's forty four years
- 26:10Speaker 9: old and was signed to the team's practice squad and
- 26:13Speaker 9: has a very real shot at starting.
- 26:15Speaker 3: On Sunday, I was watching Pat McAfee and Pat McAfee
- 26:18Speaker 3: and of course he's he's a homer for the Colts
- 26:21Speaker 3: because he played for the Colts.
- 26:22Speaker 2: But he he doesn't hate the idea. He's like, look, really,
- 26:26Speaker 2: last time I saw Philip Rivers, he couldn't move. He's
- 26:28Speaker 2: not gonna be able to move this time either. But
- 26:31Speaker 2: he's going to be proficient and he's going to be
- 26:33Speaker 2: able to do what he needs to do in order
- 26:36Speaker 2: to help this team. And he thinks that this is
- 26:38Speaker 2: actually a good thing. Yeah, yeah, like a movie of
- 26:41Speaker 2: the week he thinks this is gonna right.
- 26:43Speaker 15: It really is.
- 26:43Speaker 2: Yeah, I forget what it was.
- 26:44Speaker 3: It was a man who is the actor, old time actor,
- 26:47Speaker 3: not old time actor, but he's old now a man.
- 26:50Speaker 3: I forget about this old guy who ended up playing
- 26:52Speaker 3: like in the Majors. Yeah, like later on in his
- 26:55Speaker 3: like the natural.
- 26:55Speaker 2: You know, dumbass Tyler, what's uh you're thinking of Dennis Quator?
- 27:02Speaker 2: He is, good man, Thank you, That's exactly what I'm
- 27:04Speaker 2: thinking of.
- 27:05Speaker 11: Dude.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Well, after this announcement, do you know what else popped
- 27:09Speaker 2: up a lot? You're boner? Nope, Nope, that would be uh,
- 27:13Speaker 2: bring back Kaepernick immediately, And I'm just like, dude, just
- 27:19Speaker 2: let this guy play like one game or something so
- 27:22Speaker 2: we can get this over with so we.
- 27:23Speaker 3: Can be wouldn't that be funny if they signed him
- 27:25Speaker 3: to be Philip Rivers backup. Yeah, and just like Philip
- 27:29Speaker 3: Rivers and Colin Kaepernick, so we can stop.
- 27:31Speaker 4: Hearing about this Tom Brady when.
- 27:34Speaker 6: He was out like forty something, yeah, I think like
- 27:37Speaker 6: forty five.
- 27:38Speaker 4: Oh okay, so we know it can be done well.
- 27:41Speaker 9: Rivers hasn't played a snap of football since twenty twenty,
- 27:44Speaker 9: but he was up for the Hall of Fame this year,
- 27:46Speaker 9: and he'd been coaching high school football the entire time,
- 27:49Speaker 9: and he said he stayed in great shape.
- 27:51Speaker 4: So we'll see what happens.
- 27:52Speaker 8: Is it true when you rupture your achilles, it kind
- 27:55Speaker 8: of like curls up like a window.
- 27:57Speaker 4: Shape, snaps like a piano wire.
- 27:59Speaker 3: There's a lot of well there's a lot of tension
- 28:01Speaker 3: on it. Yeah, it goes up and kind of I
- 28:04Speaker 3: don't know about that, but it does. It does like receive.
- 28:09Speaker 4: Well, there's more dramas.
- 28:10Speaker 3: Have seen videos of how they surgically repair those Hell,
- 28:15Speaker 3: why would you watch that? Well, because they have the
- 28:18Speaker 3: like the animated graphic of how they do it. It's insane,
- 28:21Speaker 3: Like somebody figured that out. Yeah, that's again, that's the
- 28:23Speaker 3: stuff I'm impressed by, right, Like we figured out how
- 28:26Speaker 3: to yeah, like how to do that as human beings?
- 28:29Speaker 7: Right.
- 28:29Speaker 8: Meanwhile, an actor is walking by and your instructure not
- 28:33Speaker 8: to look at them, and they're.
- 28:34Speaker 4: Just everyone get against the wall.
- 28:36Speaker 8: Let's cut people open and fix them.
- 28:38Speaker 2: Yep.
- 28:38Speaker 9: Well, there's more drama around the hockey venue for the
- 28:41Speaker 9: Milan Winter Olympics. With the games less than two months away.
- 28:44Speaker 9: The arena that's supposed to host the game still doesn't finish,
- 28:46Speaker 9: and the ice reportedly doesn't meet NHL's standards.
- 28:51Speaker 2: A problem. You know, I need it until February. It
- 28:54Speaker 2: used to be done. It's only on January. It was
- 28:57Speaker 2: a habifore you know, a problem.
- 28:59Speaker 4: That's a direct quote.
- 29:00Speaker 2: By the way, don't they know that they don't build
- 29:02Speaker 2: stuff fast over there?
- 29:03Speaker 9: Well, NHL Commissioner Bill Daily says straight up that if
- 29:06Speaker 9: the ice isn't safe, they ain't playing. He added that
- 29:09Speaker 9: the issues should be fixable, but time is tight since
- 29:12Speaker 9: construction is scheduled to finish on February second, and the
- 29:15Speaker 9: Women's hockey tournament starts just three days later. Now you're
- 29:18Speaker 9: super into hockey and you have a kid that's super
- 29:20Speaker 9: into hockey. What could possibly be wrong with the ice?
- 29:23Speaker 16: Uh?
- 29:23Speaker 3: Well, I mean something it needs to They have like
- 29:27Speaker 3: such standards for like the water itself. Really, Oh yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 3: they're constantly testing. It's it's crazy. I forget exactly you
- 29:36Speaker 3: would think the ice is really thick. It's like three
- 29:38Speaker 3: quarters of an inch or something like that. Yeah, NHL
- 29:41Speaker 3: ice is is about like this thick. Yeah, and so
- 29:46Speaker 3: there's yeah, there's a lot as far as there's something
- 29:49Speaker 3: with I forget the word they use, but basically like
- 29:51Speaker 3: how the smoothness of it, the like, yeah, I can't.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Think, I can't, I can't think the word. But there's
- 29:58Speaker 2: there's a lot he's got.
- 29:59Speaker 3: It's like these do who do like turf for baseball
- 30:02Speaker 3: stadiums or football stadium There's so much. They got way
- 30:05Speaker 3: more science than you know, if you have like a
- 30:08Speaker 3: you know, like like a weekend hobby of like doing
- 30:10Speaker 3: your lawn, Greg, like you're out there doing your stuff
- 30:12Speaker 3: with turf builder Scotts.
- 30:14Speaker 8: I think the scientific term is the slippiness.
- 30:17Speaker 3: Yeah, the NHL is kind of in a tough spot
- 30:19Speaker 3: because if they can't get this right, they already pushed
- 30:23Speaker 3: a bunch of games, so there's all this openness in
- 30:26Speaker 3: the schedule to accommodate for the players who are going
- 30:28Speaker 3: to play in this. So if for whatever reason they go,
- 30:31Speaker 3: you know what, no players are going. The NHL is
- 30:33Speaker 3: just sitting there. Yeah, their players aren't playing.
- 30:37Speaker 2: There's nothing going on.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Whether they couldn't, but they can't all of a sudden
- 30:39Speaker 3: just start scheduling games because it doesn't work that way.
- 30:42Speaker 3: So it really puts the league in the bad position.
- 30:44Speaker 3: I would love to be there, they would suck here
- 30:45Speaker 3: and say bring out the zambo.
- 30:46Speaker 8: And yeah, it's the same with runways at airports. You
- 30:52Speaker 8: think it's just pavement, Yeah, it's completely different.
- 30:55Speaker 3: Animals. So really, I don't know the science behind that either,
- 30:57Speaker 3: old menace there you go. Yeah, I believe, like for
- 31:01Speaker 3: car tracks and stuff. Yeah, I mean, like the banks,
- 31:04Speaker 3: the yeah, yeah, yeah, it's crazy. Sure, so much goes
- 31:08Speaker 3: into you think about it.
- 31:10Speaker 2: They had to put to it for the biggest strip,
- 31:11Speaker 2: they had to put special cement in there.
- 31:13Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 31:14Speaker 9: Well, speaking of transportation, this is terrifying. A small plane
- 31:17Speaker 9: ran into some trouble while flying over Florida. After pilots
- 31:20Speaker 9: noticed engine problems, they called in an emergency. They realized
- 31:24Speaker 9: they ain't going to make it to the airport, so
- 31:25Speaker 9: they tried to land on a highway. Okay, fine, but
- 31:29Speaker 9: during the attempt, the plane clipped a moving car, bounced
- 31:32Speaker 9: off of.
- 31:32Speaker 4: It, hit it again, and then crashed.
- 31:35Speaker 9: The car was being driven by this terrifying fifty seven
- 31:38Speaker 9: year old woman, who luckily escaped with only minor injuries.
- 31:42Speaker 9: Both pilots also not only survived, but basically we're not
- 31:45Speaker 9: hurt at all.
- 31:46Speaker 4: Yeah, the highway was shut.
- 31:48Speaker 9: Down, CRUs clear in the wreckage and the NTSB of
- 31:50Speaker 9: course looking into what caused this crash, but everybody's just fine, Well,
- 31:54Speaker 9: it looks.
- 31:54Speaker 3: An engine failure. Yeah, I guess one one of the
- 31:57Speaker 3: guys was a student pilot, and so engine failure on it.
- 32:01Speaker 3: It was like a multi engine plane. Yeah, and so
- 32:05Speaker 3: there's yeah, it's it's a it's a thing that happens, right.
- 32:08Speaker 3: People they find like an emergency of all, where's the
- 32:12Speaker 3: place that you could land if you had to. There's
- 32:14Speaker 3: a stretch of highway highway and you could tell yeah,
- 32:18Speaker 3: and you could tell they were like trying to hold
- 32:20Speaker 3: it off until the woman's car like kind of went
- 32:23Speaker 3: by and they could like put it down behind. But
- 32:25Speaker 3: I think they just it just they just had the
- 32:27Speaker 3: sink and it just the sink rate just boom.
- 32:29Speaker 8: Okay, so engine fails. How much time between engine failure
- 32:33Speaker 8: and oh crap, we have to be on the ground,
- 32:35Speaker 8: Like do you have two minutes or one minute?
- 32:38Speaker 3: Depends how long you can yeah, how you are, Well,
- 32:40Speaker 3: it's how high you are and how long you can glide,
- 32:43Speaker 3: Like what's what your glide ratio?
- 32:45Speaker 2: How much do you think, like how many feet before
- 32:47Speaker 2: they would stop? Once they are on the ground.
- 32:50Speaker 3: Yeah, Oh that could be pretty quick because they the
- 32:52Speaker 3: brakes would still work, right, the engine fail, but everything
- 32:55Speaker 3: else is still working.
- 32:56Speaker 2: The reason I'm asking is because remember, uh, just recently,
- 32:59Speaker 2: I went to that car show at the wind on
- 33:03Speaker 2: their golf course and they had a plane on there.
- 33:05Speaker 2: I'm like, how did you get this plane on the
- 33:07Speaker 2: golf course? And like, oh, we just landed on the course.
- 33:09Speaker 2: But you said they could. They could. I don't think
- 33:11Speaker 2: they really did that, really, I don't think they could. Yeah,
- 33:14Speaker 2: it's a massive golf course. Yeah, I mean they could
- 33:16Speaker 2: do it.
- 33:16Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 33:17Speaker 2: They call that a soft field landing. Oh yeah, yeah,
- 33:20Speaker 2: Like how did they get this plane in the middle
- 33:22Speaker 2: of the golf course?
- 33:23Speaker 4: Yeah, they probably at Harrison Park.
- 33:24Speaker 2: Yeah, but they just, like you landed. You're telling me
- 33:28Speaker 2: that they landed it at the private airfield like down
- 33:30Speaker 2: the road and then put it on a truck.
- 33:32Speaker 3: I'm not sure exactly how they did it, but I
- 33:34Speaker 3: would just I would be surprised if they decided to
- 33:36Speaker 3: intentionally landed on a golf course and course this like
- 33:40Speaker 3: it was a vision jet right, yeah, like that plane
- 33:43Speaker 3: in particular, I'd be surprised if they intentionally landed on
- 33:46Speaker 3: the on the golf personally, I mean maybe I'm completely wrong.
- 33:48Speaker 2: I don't I don't know.
- 33:49Speaker 6: Yeah, is that not bad for the plane, the wheels
- 33:51Speaker 6: and everything to land on?
- 33:52Speaker 2: No, I mean there was more like when you're landing
- 33:54Speaker 2: on a side that that's why you practice that like
- 33:56Speaker 2: soft field landing. So like if you're landing on.
- 33:58Speaker 3: Dirt or grass or whatever, you don't want is the
- 34:00Speaker 3: nose wheel to get caught and then the whole plane
- 34:02Speaker 3: kind of flips over. You know when you hit the
- 34:04Speaker 3: front brakes on a bike and you go over the handle.
- 34:07Speaker 3: That's that's what you're trying to avoid. So when you
- 34:08Speaker 3: land that way, like the whole idea is to like
- 34:10Speaker 3: land soft on the on the on the gear the
- 34:13Speaker 3: back here, and then keep the nose up until it
- 34:15Speaker 3: just naturally loses speed and softly because they don't want
- 34:19Speaker 3: it going into the ground.
- 34:20Speaker 2: They's been bugging me for weeks. I did, and they
- 34:24Speaker 2: said they landed on the golf course. Yeah, I mean yeah,
- 34:29Speaker 2: I doubt that.
- 34:30Speaker 3: And also because it's a really nice, nice golf course
- 34:33Speaker 3: where they're holding in a tournament.
- 34:35Speaker 2: It was it was the car show, so millions of
- 34:37Speaker 2: dollars worth.
- 34:38Speaker 6: Of cars Yeah, Now you got me thinking, how did
- 34:40Speaker 6: they get cars and malls. I've always wondered that the.
- 34:42Speaker 2: Malls, that's drive it in.
- 34:45Speaker 3: Yeah, and where a service, there's a service you ever
- 34:49Speaker 3: see you ever see those like the hallways where.
- 34:52Speaker 2: The bathrooms are.
- 34:55Speaker 6: A loading dot kind of in the.
- 34:57Speaker 3: Mall, Like when you're like, the restrooms are this way,
- 34:58Speaker 3: like you're walking down the you know, the mall and
- 35:01Speaker 3: stores are on either side, right, and there's the hallway
- 35:03Speaker 3: where at the very end of there's like the bathrooms
- 35:05Speaker 3: are down there.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Yeah, those hallways are super wide. And at the end
- 35:09Speaker 2: of those hallways. What about the door? The doors open
- 35:12Speaker 2: at the end of the hallways to.
- 35:13Speaker 6: The Morgan I'm loving I've never seen a big door
- 35:16Speaker 6: like that. Okay, not to go on a tangent, but
- 35:18Speaker 6: it made me think about that.
- 35:19Speaker 2: I used to think about that at car dealerships, right,
- 35:21Speaker 2: or like a casino. How'd you get that in there?
- 35:23Speaker 8: How'd you get that up on a platform in a casino?
- 35:26Speaker 2: Yeah, so many questions.
- 35:29Speaker 4: Well, let's talk about another.
- 35:32Speaker 2: I saw a military helicopter on the flatbed the other
- 35:34Speaker 2: day on the on the highway. Yeah, it is mind boggling.
- 35:37Speaker 3: Yeah, they take the rotors off and everything. But it
- 35:39Speaker 3: was just sitting on the sea, but like an airplane
- 35:42Speaker 3: that has wings.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Like, I get it, now, I get it.
- 35:46Speaker 9: Well, let's talk about this new lawsuit that's been filed
- 35:48Speaker 9: against Weld Caribbean Cruise Line by the family of this
- 35:52Speaker 9: thirty five year old dude who died on board Navigator
- 35:55Speaker 9: the Seas last year. But listen, the suit claims he
- 35:58Speaker 9: was served thirty three drinks at the ship bar before
- 36:00Speaker 9: he went on this drunken tirade he attacked and threatened
- 36:04Speaker 9: to kill crew members and fellow passengers.
- 36:06Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 36:06Speaker 3: I saw a video of this guy because he was
- 36:08Speaker 3: like trying to kick the door into a cabin.
- 36:10Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 36:11Speaker 3: So I guess the deal was they got on board
- 36:13Speaker 3: right and the room wasn't ready, and so they're like,
- 36:16Speaker 3: all right, well, we'll let you know when the when
- 36:18Speaker 3: the room is ready. And so he went off to
- 36:20Speaker 3: this bar and he's there with his wife and his
- 36:23Speaker 3: kids by the way, and so the other one they're
- 36:25Speaker 3: all like hanging and whatever and waiting, getting impatient for
- 36:28Speaker 3: when the room's gonna be ready. In the meantime, this
- 36:30Speaker 3: guy has thirty some drinks.
- 36:32Speaker 2: Never been on a cruise ship before, okay.
- 36:34Speaker 3: And now he's wasted and he's getting like he's I'm
- 36:36Speaker 3: gonna go see what's up of this room, and he
- 36:38Speaker 3: starts this whole thing with the with the staff yep,
- 36:41Speaker 3: and threatening the staff and yelling and kicking the door
- 36:44Speaker 3: in the whole thing. And that's that's how this whole
- 36:46Speaker 3: thing happened.
- 36:46Speaker 9: Yeah, so he was detained and according to the lawsuit,
- 36:49Speaker 9: the staff allegedly injected him with a sedative that allegedly
- 36:53Speaker 9: killed him.
- 36:53Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 36:54Speaker 3: Well he's a big dude, this big huge. One of
- 36:56Speaker 3: the I saw in the report. One of the causes
- 36:59Speaker 3: of death was obey because well.
- 37:02Speaker 2: Well no, the reason being is because they got the
- 37:04Speaker 2: guy in the ground and they're trying to restrain him
- 37:06Speaker 2: because you're a big dude, right, and so they're kind
- 37:09Speaker 2: of sitting on the guy. But when you're fat, you
- 37:11Speaker 2: have all this extra soft tissue that makes breathing even
- 37:14Speaker 2: harder as it is, and so when now it's when
- 37:16Speaker 2: anybody's sitting on you, even if you're big, it restricts
- 37:19Speaker 2: you even more.
- 37:20Speaker 17: So.
- 37:20Speaker 2: The obese contributed to the fact that someone was saying yeah,
- 37:24Speaker 2: and then when the I guess it was the captain
- 37:26Speaker 2: of the ship who had you know, the sedative.
- 37:30Speaker 4: And you know you got to go straight to the
- 37:32Speaker 4: top for that.
- 37:33Speaker 2: And so then that of course got complicated by.
- 37:35Speaker 6: The other you know, I heard they used pepper spray
- 37:37Speaker 6: on him too, damn didn't.
- 37:39Speaker 4: Take him down like an elephant.
- 37:41Speaker 9: Well, they changed everything to homicide homicide investigations.
- 37:45Speaker 2: We'll see how that turns out.
- 37:47Speaker 9: And finally, remember, Sammy, don't let me down on this
- 37:51Speaker 9: because I don't know if we're already over the Barrista
- 37:53Speaker 9: cup from Starbucks. Yeah, Starbucks Barrista. Well, they've released remember
- 37:59Speaker 9: these fights in stores. Well, we have good news for
- 38:02Speaker 9: everyone who didn't get one. You're gonna get another chance
- 38:04Speaker 9: at getting.
- 38:05Speaker 4: The berry Stick Cup.
- 38:07Speaker 9: They're not being sold though, but they can be won.
- 38:10Speaker 9: So Starbucks announced that their Starbucks for Life game is
- 38:13Speaker 9: back and that rewards members will get chances to win
- 38:16Speaker 9: you know, free drinks and food and gift cards, and
- 38:18Speaker 9: the grand prize is Starbucks for Life and members can
- 38:21Speaker 9: also win the berry Stick Cup in the game. And
- 38:24Speaker 9: some people would call that the real grand prize because
- 38:26Speaker 9: people literally went one sane over this.
- 38:29Speaker 3: You've been to this before, Greg, with whatever it is
- 38:31Speaker 3: that people are going crazy for some gaming system or
- 38:34Speaker 3: the new phone, like just make more.
- 38:37Speaker 8: Make I've never.
- 38:40Speaker 11: Right, but if you have.
- 38:44Speaker 2: But if it's a bear cup, okay, it's stupid. It's
- 38:47Speaker 2: so dumb.
- 38:48Speaker 3: If you have something like that, and you know everybody's
- 38:51Speaker 3: always bitching about money and profits and both, and you
- 38:54Speaker 3: have something that people.
- 38:56Speaker 8: Are are going fighting each other.
- 38:58Speaker 2: Make more. If five thousand more, like the beers and diamonds,
- 39:04Speaker 2: when it starts going on a slight decline on popularity,
- 39:07Speaker 2: that's when they start making more.
- 39:08Speaker 13: And it's smart because they make it so that it's
- 39:11Speaker 13: in demand and people can't get it, and now they're
- 39:13Speaker 13: going come here and buy drinks and buy more drinks
- 39:16Speaker 13: so that you can maybe possibly get this.
- 39:19Speaker 2: I feel like Starbucks has these things built in. They
- 39:22Speaker 2: have so many of these like levers that they can
- 39:24Speaker 2: pull because it's like, oh, it's pumpkin spice season, Like
- 39:28Speaker 2: that's a big it's red cup day.
- 39:30Speaker 4: We ran out of pumpkin.
- 39:31Speaker 2: We have this new tumbler cup and you do that.
- 39:35Speaker 2: But like not everything needs to.
- 39:37Speaker 8: Be And you guys are discussing like the Act of economics,
- 39:41Speaker 8: in which ess applying to man. People want it, we
- 39:44Speaker 8: get it. But if Woody and I had the widget
- 39:47Speaker 8: company and the society was freaking out over these widgets,
- 39:51Speaker 8: and you're fighting your friend over it, Woody and I
- 39:54Speaker 8: don't care if you guys love it, so we just
- 39:56Speaker 8: want to sell more.
- 39:57Speaker 4: Well more would probably say is you guys are playing checkers.
- 40:01Speaker 4: We're playing checks you.
- 40:02Speaker 3: Know, it's funny, long game. I never realized this, but
- 40:06Speaker 3: if you go into a a role X store, like
- 40:10Speaker 3: you see a Rolex store, like one of these high
- 40:11Speaker 3: end places, like, you can't just walk in and buy
- 40:14Speaker 3: a role X like.
- 40:15Speaker 2: You have to go in and you have to establish
- 40:19Speaker 2: a relationship with one of the employees, and then you know,
- 40:25Speaker 2: down the line, maybe the watch that you're interested in
- 40:29Speaker 2: becomes available to you and they will then reach out
- 40:31Speaker 2: to you and invite you to then purchase the role Like,
- 40:36Speaker 2: you can't just walk in and buy a Rolex, and
- 40:39Speaker 2: if they don't like you, they can just be like nah.
- 40:41Speaker 2: But once you have that relationship, then you're able to
- 40:44Speaker 2: go in there and go to your part. Let's say
- 40:47Speaker 2: Gina worked at the role X and I'd walk in
- 40:50Speaker 2: there and I go, oh, Gina, I'm really interested in
- 40:51Speaker 2: this blah blah blah blah. But I think that Bert
- 40:54Speaker 2: was talking about that platinum whatever.
- 40:56Speaker 4: Yeah, like pound sand I don't know you.
- 40:58Speaker 2: Yeah, but not that one. That's a that's a special
- 41:00Speaker 2: barista version.
- 41:04Speaker 3: But like then then it's easier for you. It's like
- 41:06Speaker 3: once you that happens with when it comes to Lamborghinis
- 41:10Speaker 3: or Ferrari.
- 41:12Speaker 9: So what's the difference between that and I mean not
- 41:14Speaker 9: what's the difference, but what's the difference in your argument
- 41:16Speaker 9: between that and the Barristick cup?
- 41:18Speaker 3: No, I understanding, like yo, companies making things really difficult
- 41:20Speaker 3: to get because I guess there are there are people.
- 41:22Speaker 3: There's there's a demand for X number of millions of
- 41:25Speaker 3: rolexes every year and they make about a million. So
- 41:28Speaker 3: they produce one million rolexes worldwide every year and that's
- 41:33Speaker 3: pretty much it, right, So you get it.
- 41:36Speaker 4: Yeah, you get the baristic cup whether you want.
- 41:37Speaker 11: To or not.
- 41:38Speaker 2: You're talking about a dumb cup and it's a guy
- 41:41Speaker 2: who really likes watches. I will say I think rolllex
- 41:44Speaker 2: is overrated, like Bert was, you know, never give watching? Yeah,
- 41:50Speaker 2: liked the roll x is overrated. I don't know if
- 41:53Speaker 2: they look that cool, get yourself a sweet old timing.
- 41:56Speaker 8: They look old money.
- 41:57Speaker 2: Yeah, I just I mean, I understand what it is.
- 42:01Speaker 8: They're recognizable.
- 42:02Speaker 4: Yeah, and you can't play Frogger or any games on him.
- 42:05Speaker 4: What's the point?
- 42:06Speaker 9: Well, for the barrista, the game is available to be
- 42:08Speaker 9: played now and you can play it till January fourth,
- 42:11Speaker 9: So get cracking.
- 42:13Speaker 4: And that's what's going on.
- 42:13Speaker 2: With I thank you very much, Ginigrad Moore? What do
- 42:16Speaker 2: you show next?
- 42:16Speaker 17: Hang on?
- 42:17Speaker 2: The Woody Show returns right after these messages show all right,
- 42:27Speaker 2: a couple of things that I saw in news. I
- 42:30Speaker 2: wanted to bring you up.
- 42:31Speaker 3: Here's want to get you into the holiday spirit. The stude,
- 42:33Speaker 3: New Jersey plays Santa every year. He's a retired school teacher.
- 42:38Speaker 3: He advertises his appearance appearances at Santa on his website.
- 42:42Speaker 3: He offers up a quote little extra Christmas manager. Is
- 42:46Speaker 3: he one of these guys that looks like Santa like already?
- 42:49Speaker 10: Yeah?
- 42:49Speaker 8: Those guys are strange.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Well, the cops they shut up at his door. They
- 42:53Speaker 3: got worried about some illegal internet activity. They got a
- 42:57Speaker 3: war into search the place. And I guess what, you guys,
- 42:59Speaker 3: what uh? This Santa is a.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Kitty toucher, had a bunch of like kitty porn on
- 43:04Speaker 2: his computer. God damn it. So had the cops get
- 43:07Speaker 2: tipped off?
- 43:08Speaker 3: I'm glad you asked, because Santa I guess had filmed
- 43:10Speaker 3: a kid in a bedroom and then sent it to somebody,
- 43:14Speaker 3: and then that someone reported him as they should.
- 43:17Speaker 2: It was good good.
- 43:18Speaker 3: Uh, he was arrested, taking the jail. But a little,
- 43:20Speaker 3: a little side note on this one. The news can't
- 43:24Speaker 3: just report the story. They always send some porschemuck out
- 43:26Speaker 3: there to go talk to people to get their reaction.
- 43:29Speaker 2: And here's my thing.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Do they ever add anything to the story unless it's
- 43:32Speaker 3: like a hi, you wive, hide your kids?
- 43:34Speaker 2: Which is the best or the Uh? It's always people
- 43:37Speaker 2: that not even heard what happened.
- 43:39Speaker 6: I went in to get a cold pope.
- 43:42Speaker 2: Nobody got to it.
- 43:43Speaker 3: Yeah, Jesus fire or it's usually it's usually he was
- 43:48Speaker 3: such a nice, quiet guy.
- 43:49Speaker 4: Yeah, kept to himself.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, they don't. They never do. For example, for
- 43:54Speaker 3: this particular story, here are a couple of the neighbors.
- 43:58Speaker 3: Uh that the news talk to you. Now, let's let's
- 44:00Speaker 3: get some really good insight on this Santa perv.
- 44:04Speaker 15: It wasn't until we saw Mark taken away that he
- 44:06Speaker 15: really is something was going on with him.
- 44:08Speaker 2: Oh, really, that's what.
- 44:13Speaker 8: You realized.
- 44:15Speaker 2: You wouldn't You weren't aware of all this and was
- 44:17Speaker 2: saying nothing.
- 44:18Speaker 3: They like when the cops show up and they take
- 44:23Speaker 3: one of your neighbors out of the house in handcuffs.
- 44:25Speaker 2: That's when we realized.
- 44:26Speaker 15: It wasn't until we saw Mark taken away that he
- 44:28Speaker 15: really is something was going on with him. He was
- 44:30Speaker 15: such a nice guy. You played Santa. I knew he
- 44:32Speaker 15: was a teacher.
- 44:33Speaker 9: Was kind of disappointing, kind of a little but Santa
- 44:37Speaker 9: is the perfect thing for him because you're having kids
- 44:39Speaker 9: sit on.
- 44:39Speaker 2: Your lap all day.
- 44:40Speaker 9: Yeah, it was only kind of disappointing, moderately peeved by.
- 44:44Speaker 2: This somebody else.
- 44:45Speaker 4: It's a terrible terrible thing to hear about scial this time.
- 44:49Speaker 7: Of the year.
- 44:49Speaker 3: Okay, so it's a terrible thing to hear about any
- 44:52Speaker 3: time of the year if it was summertime.
- 44:56Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, I have grandsons, and you know that's
- 44:59Speaker 2: a that's a sad thing. What what's a sad things?
- 45:04Speaker 8: Because if you don't have grandson's.
- 45:05Speaker 2: That's how about a round of do you buy it?
- 45:10Speaker 2: What do you showed? Trademark original game?
- 45:12Speaker 3: This chick in New York City, she ordered a burrito
- 45:14Speaker 3: bowl from Chipotle door Dash delivered it, and she claims
- 45:17Speaker 3: that when she been into it, that there was a
- 45:19Speaker 3: rodent hidden inside the bowl. Now everybody's been to a Chipotle, right, yeah,
- 45:26Speaker 3: how come.
- 45:27Speaker 6: On, Yeah, it's out there in the little bin.
- 45:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:30Speaker 3: Yeah, that's like with those where they have like the
- 45:34Speaker 3: grilled peppers and onions, the little whiskers. She followed a
- 45:38Speaker 3: lawsuit saying this has caused her quote pain, shock, and
- 45:41Speaker 3: severe mental anguish, and that these effects will be permanent.
- 45:46Speaker 3: Her lawyer says that Chipotle failed and the responsibility to
- 45:50Speaker 3: provide safe, sanitary food, and they're asking for compensatory and
- 45:55Speaker 3: punitive damages. Chipotle says the woman is full of coca
- 45:59Speaker 3: not rodent, and they released to stay in saying they
- 46:02Speaker 3: strongly deny the allegations and they intend to vigorously defend themselves.
- 46:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:07Speaker 8: Do you buy it?
- 46:08Speaker 4: I mean I'd buy that she's lying.
- 46:10Speaker 9: Yeah, because even when you have that little spoon or
- 46:12Speaker 9: the little tongs, you wouldn't notice if there was a
- 46:15Speaker 9: tail at the end of it.
- 46:16Speaker 3: Come on, whe would the road and come from It's
- 46:18Speaker 3: an open kitchen at Chipotle. The grill is out there.
- 46:21Speaker 3: They're throwing the You ever see them growing up the chicken.
- 46:24Speaker 3: So you're waiting in line, Yeah, yeah, mixing the guacamole.
- 46:28Speaker 8: I'm gonna you know.
- 46:30Speaker 2: What I buy?
- 46:30Speaker 4: It really actually happened part of a mouse, but not
- 46:34Speaker 4: a full mouse. That's crazy.
- 46:36Speaker 3: Yeah, But again because it's not a pre if Chipotle
- 46:40Speaker 3: was a pre packaged place, you know where they have
- 46:42Speaker 3: the big plastic bags and they kind of just cut
- 46:44Speaker 3: the top off and dump it in a you know,
- 46:46Speaker 3: a vat the heat. It different that God knows where
- 46:49Speaker 3: that stuff came from. But when they're grilling the chicken
- 46:51Speaker 3: out in front of everybody, open kitchen, yeah, open kitchen,
- 46:55Speaker 3: and they're building the.
- 46:56Speaker 2: Bowls right there ceiling.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Ye.
- 47:00Speaker 3: Maybe you don't buy greg, I think it could be possible. Sure,
- 47:05Speaker 3: menaced you buy it percent?
- 47:07Speaker 8: Okay?
- 47:08Speaker 2: I can tell he's being funny, you know, I buy
- 47:11Speaker 2: I kind of buy it, you did? I see? It
- 47:13Speaker 2: could be possible. This is like the oldest scam in
- 47:15Speaker 2: the book.
- 47:16Speaker 4: Yeah, like put a roach in my salad, you'll get
- 47:18Speaker 4: it for freez.
- 47:19Speaker 8: Well, when I worked at a pizza place, people would
- 47:21Speaker 8: complain every once in a while, not a lot, but
- 47:23Speaker 8: that they would find little curly pieces of metal on
- 47:26Speaker 8: their pizza, and I thought they were lying too. But
- 47:29Speaker 8: it turns out when you open the can of olives
- 47:31Speaker 8: sometimes the gable that's more believable. It is like this
- 47:36Speaker 8: that you bit into a rodent. Right, give me a break.
- 47:39Speaker 8: I had something disturbing happened to me very recently at
- 47:42Speaker 8: a birthday party. There was this beautiful charcuterie board and
- 47:46Speaker 8: they had preshudo or I believe that the paper thin.
- 47:51Speaker 4: Yeah, it's all like ribbony.
- 47:52Speaker 8: So I took a bite of that. It's usually like buttery,
- 47:55Speaker 8: soft and delicious, and I thought there was a rock
- 47:58Speaker 8: in it. My tooth just went in it like instant pain.
- 48:02Speaker 8: I spit it into my hand and it was an
- 48:06Speaker 8: olive pit, which I thought, that's weird to beget. And
- 48:10Speaker 8: then it dawned on me a few minutes later, Wait,
- 48:13Speaker 8: just the pit. That means somebody ate the olives, spit
- 48:16Speaker 8: the pit out and it went back on the charcoony board,
- 48:19Speaker 8: and it sure did about it. Now I'm still disturbed
- 48:23Speaker 8: by it, and my tooth still hurts from it.
- 48:27Speaker 2: Rose So do you buy it?
- 48:30Speaker 3: Hit us up on the text, yes or no? But
- 48:32Speaker 3: this chipotle bit into a rodent in her burrito bowl.
- 48:35Speaker 3: Later over to two, right over to two two nine
- 48:39Speaker 3: eight seven, Yeah.
- 48:40Speaker 8: Yeah, buy it.
- 48:41Speaker 2: They don't have any rodents there. This Chipotle rat severely
- 48:45Speaker 2: stinks like the Wendy's chili finger. I'm yeah, exactly. Well,
- 48:49Speaker 2: nobody said it was a gigantic rat dig and it
- 48:54Speaker 2: turns out they didn't. That was like a litt little mouse,
- 48:56Speaker 2: little mouse mouse classic story.
- 49:03Speaker 3: Check in on some after hours voicemails right eight seven
- 49:08Speaker 3: seven four. Anytime after the show until we meet up
- 49:11Speaker 3: again the next day or after a weekend is when
- 49:15Speaker 3: you can leave us whatever. God, if you're listening on
- 49:16Speaker 3: the podcast, you know you can always be a part
- 49:18Speaker 3: of the show that way too. We are talking about
- 49:22Speaker 3: the real idea and Greg's refusal to get the real ID.
- 49:25Speaker 8: I don't want to.
- 49:25Speaker 2: And there was a story about.
- 49:27Speaker 3: How they're gonna start finding people if you don't have
- 49:29Speaker 3: the real ID, like forty five bucks or something like
- 49:31Speaker 3: that in the airport and things to use a passport anyway,
- 49:34Speaker 3: So somebody called in about that, gret Hey, So talking.
- 49:37Speaker 7: About real ID, I think one of the big reasons
- 49:41Speaker 7: why we don't know, the big difference why we don't
- 49:44Speaker 7: see why we can't use our regular ID is because
- 49:48Speaker 7: the California license was already meeting the several standards for
- 49:52Speaker 7: the new real ID, but a bunch of other states
- 49:55Speaker 7: their driver's licenses didn't meet those standards. So everybody had
- 50:00Speaker 7: come out with a new quote unquote license that had
- 50:03Speaker 7: all the features of the real ID. But it meant
- 50:06Speaker 7: that Californians had to buy new licenses. It's stupid, but
- 50:09Speaker 7: that's why.
- 50:10Speaker 8: Okay, see doesn't that make you suspicious? Like Sammy pointed out,
- 50:15Speaker 8: they want us to have this thing so badly, and
- 50:17Speaker 8: they're forcing it down our throats so much. But when
- 50:20Speaker 8: the state doesn't, everybody else has to do it. And
- 50:22Speaker 8: one state did it, but this state did it differently,
- 50:24Speaker 8: so now we have to do it again and do
- 50:26Speaker 8: it this way. Stop with the forcing this stupid reality everybody,
- 50:31Speaker 8: So sus yeah, let us live right.
- 50:36Speaker 2: Woody after hours voicemails.
- 50:38Speaker 16: You know, I'm on travel work right now and I
- 50:41Speaker 16: always get a king size bed, and then that wasn't
- 50:45Speaker 16: an option this time. So I got two queens and Sammy,
- 50:48Speaker 16: you're absolutely right. You get one for eating and one
- 50:53Speaker 16: for sleeping. The two queens that is the way to go.
- 50:56Speaker 8: Yeah, thank you.
- 51:01Speaker 2: Eating in bed is terrible. It's like a hotel.
- 51:06Speaker 13: Yeah, showers, get room service, you watch TV, and then
- 51:09Speaker 13: you sleep in a different bed.
- 51:10Speaker 2: It's actually the worst because you're going.
- 51:12Speaker 6: To sleep in it later.
- 51:12Speaker 2: Okay. But if it's room service, they bring the thing,
- 51:15Speaker 2: the little table thing, you can use that to eat.
- 51:17Speaker 2: There's a desk. There's like to be in bed too messy.
- 51:21Speaker 2: I'll tell you this. When they mill in the room
- 51:24Speaker 2: service on a table and sit at the edge of the.
- 51:26Speaker 3: Bed, right, that's what I'm sea, like, ye, right on
- 51:32Speaker 3: the bed. Yeah, I'm a slob and totally you soudo.
- 51:39Speaker 3: My buddy is he uh when his wife is out
- 51:41Speaker 3: of town. He can't do this when she's around because
- 51:44Speaker 3: she chames him, but he likes to uh be in bed.
- 51:47Speaker 3: And I guess he's a guy who's I don't know
- 51:49Speaker 3: if he's fully naked when he's sleeping or whatever, but
- 51:51Speaker 3: like so he's no shirt on, but he's sitting in
- 51:53Speaker 3: bed watching TV eating spaghetti.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Oh my god, big ball, Like yeah, like coplghetti. I'm like, dude,
- 52:00Speaker 2: what a mess.
- 52:00Speaker 4: That's pretty gross.
- 52:02Speaker 8: If you don't know how to eat.
- 52:03Speaker 2: Only time I'll eat in bed is when I'm just
- 52:07Speaker 2: like super hungover. Yeah, like Chilian of bread bowl and
- 52:10Speaker 2: peel and eat shrimp crab legs. That's that's yeah, right.
- 52:14Speaker 8: In bed bowl spaghetti you're just holding it.
- 52:16Speaker 2: I remember everywhere.
- 52:18Speaker 3: But that's the thing when you twirl it or like
- 52:21Speaker 3: like the little like uh cues tomatoes one Okay, Greg
- 52:25Speaker 3: as a dude, when when you pee right like there's
- 52:28Speaker 3: that splash. There's like those little tiny droplets that you'll
- 52:30Speaker 3: see like on the floor and go yeah, oh my god.
- 52:33Speaker 3: Totally and the gross like it's almost it's almost an
- 52:37Speaker 3: argument to sit. Yeah, because there's pea going everywhere.
- 52:41Speaker 8: It really does.
- 52:42Speaker 2: Spaghetti's kind of the same thing where that sauce.
- 52:45Speaker 3: It splatters a bit, does I don't I don't want
- 52:48Speaker 3: that in my bed hell a hotel absolutely, yeah, eighty
- 52:53Speaker 3: four Wooding. You can leave us whatever you got after hours,

- 54:29Speaker 8: Have some gas related news. O gas related news. Let's
- 54:35Speaker 8: see that ever happened.
- 54:36Speaker 3: Research now suggests that hydrogen sulfide, the smelling gas that's
- 54:42Speaker 3: in your gas, may help protect the brain from Alzheimer's
- 54:46Speaker 3: disease R.
- 54:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 54:48Speaker 3: So he studied from John Hopkins Medicine found that in mice,
- 54:52Speaker 3: the gas helped prevent the build up of tangled proteins
- 54:56Speaker 3: that block the communication between brain cells and cause them
- 54:58Speaker 3: to die. And the researchers that gave the mice with
- 55:02Speaker 3: a fart into the mice gave the mice a compound
- 55:05Speaker 3: that just slowly released this hydrogen sulfide, and they showed
- 55:09Speaker 3: a fifty percent improvement in memory and in motor function.
- 55:13Speaker 7: Huh.
- 55:15Speaker 8: And they found it hilarious.
- 55:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I loved it. Yeah, everybody had the best time.
- 55:20Speaker 11: Right.
- 55:21Speaker 8: It's just fun all around. Yeah. Yeah, and good for you.
- 55:24Speaker 3: Guess who's gas right his most immature games. It's very simple.

- 55:31Speaker 3: whenever you feel one bruin that you grab your phone
- 55:33Speaker 3: or some kind of recording device and you capture it,
- 55:36Speaker 3: because if you don't, you regret it. Yeah, and then
- 55:38Speaker 3: you email it to me and I keep anice little
- 55:40Speaker 3: file here of everybody's submissions, their homework assignments, and then
- 55:44Speaker 3: we play this round of guests whose gas. You just
- 55:46Speaker 3: had to be the first person to correctly identify whose
- 55:49Speaker 3: gas it is, and if you can do that, you
- 55:52Speaker 3: are going to win a prize again. If you want
- 55:55Speaker 3: to play, call us now eight seven seven forty four Woodie,

- 1:05:05Speaker 3: It's a social media band for people under the age

- 1:09:16Speaker 3: like happy ending place?
- 1:09:17Speaker 2: At least you wouldn't go to any place like tied

- 1:09:37Speaker 2: Would that be something that you'd be open to? Or
- 1:09:39Speaker 2: are we wasting our time?

- 1:17:06Speaker 3: I was wonderingf we're gonna get mentioned Hills. I did
- 1:17:08Speaker 3: wear my Hill's T shirt recently and Gina was very nice.
- 1:17:12Speaker 4: Yeah it was awesome.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I had a Hills T shirt that I was wearing.
- 1:17:14Speaker 15: You know why.
- 1:17:15Speaker 11: I will always have a special bottom my.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: Heart for Hue.
- 1:17:21Speaker 8: I want to know why?
- 1:17:22Speaker 17: Yeah?
- 1:17:22Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:17:23Speaker 11: Because they were the exclusive store that had the ninety
- 1:17:29Speaker 11: four WWF green card. Has b figure.
- 1:17:36Speaker 8: You'll do it?
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: I mean I knew that. I just want to see
- 1:17:37Speaker 3: if you knew. All right, so there you why the
- 1:17:42Speaker 3: oh dude, I bought them all?
- 1:17:43Speaker 8: I bought them all.
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: No, I didn't buy the one.
- 1:17:46Speaker 11: Two three kids were two thousand dollars.
- 1:17:51Speaker 2: Damn and then hammered hank. Anything you'd like to mention
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: before I let you go.
- 1:17:55Speaker 11: We we should marry Christmas. We we should marry Christmas.

- 1:18:28Speaker 2: Gee Jeff Guse Yeah, Hey, what's good? Jeff g what up?
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: And good morning? What do you show? Let's start with
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: our Dodgers this morning.
- 1:18:36Speaker 19: They got their closer yesterday, Edwin Diaz coming over from
- 1:18:39Speaker 19: the Mets sixty nine million dollar deal and Woody Show
- 1:18:43Speaker 19: he's got one of the best bullpen walk out songs ever.
- 1:18:53Speaker 19: I cannot wait to hear those trumpets at Dodger Stadium.
- 1:18:56Speaker 19: It's gonna be a movie. And more importantly, we finally
- 1:19:00Speaker 19: have a legit closer, which is something we did not
- 1:19:02Speaker 19: have last year. Moving on to the NBA Lakers back
- 1:19:05Speaker 19: on the court tonight versus the Spurs.
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: It is a knockout round of the NBA Cup.
- 1:19:09Speaker 19: NHL Dux beat the Penguins last night in a shootout,
- 1:19:12Speaker 19: so Leo calls him first down for a chance to
- 1:19:15Speaker 19: give him the league.
- 1:19:16Speaker 2: He scores.
- 1:19:17Speaker 18: Please.
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: Yeah, they didn't sound too excited. Those must have been
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: the Penguins announcers.
- 1:19:22Speaker 19: NFL Rams playoff tickets on sale this morning at ten
- 1:19:25Speaker 19: am and last mining at least this morning since we're
- 1:19:27Speaker 19: talking NFL. Former Chargers first round pick Quinton Jammer admitted
- 1:19:31Speaker 19: on social media to playing drunk in a bunch of
- 1:19:34Speaker 19: games on twenty eleven.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: He said, quote true story.
- 1:19:37Speaker 19: In twenty eleven, I played completely s face drunk in
- 1:19:40Speaker 19: at least eight games. Now apparently he was going through
- 1:19:43Speaker 19: a divorce at that time, so I kind of get it.
- 1:19:45Speaker 19: I mean, people in this building come to work drunk
- 1:19:47Speaker 19: for way less reasons than that.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: SoCal Sports. All right, Jeff say, Greg comes to work
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: half drunk at least every day. Yeah, it's wearing off
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: by the time I got here, And can't you another
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: new hour? My name is whatdy? That's Greg Gory Highway
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: Menace is here, Gina Grand We got Sea Bass?
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, Sammy, good morning. We got Morgan bones are
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: open eight seven seven four. What he text us over
- 1:20:24Speaker 3: to two to nine eight seven tis this season? Now,
- 1:20:29Speaker 3: we had a we had a visit last year by
- 1:20:31Speaker 3: Old Saint Dick. Yeah, that is a Sea Bass, you know,
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: like a secret Santa, a not so secret Santa, just
- 1:20:39Speaker 3: spreading joy and gifts everywhere. Huh yeah yeah, and so
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: uh he's back again this year. It's the return of
- 1:20:46Speaker 3: Old Saint Dick, but this time he has a he's
- 1:20:50Speaker 3: adjusted his approach. Yeah, because this is really a sign
- 1:20:55Speaker 3: of the times. Yes, yeah, and so Old Saint Dick
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: is now using AI.
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: I went on to AI and I said, hey, AI,
- 1:21:07Speaker 2: give me personalized and specific gift recommendations for each member
- 1:21:12Speaker 2: of the Woody Show, so that I Old Saint Dick
- 1:21:14Speaker 2: can go ahead and use my hard earned money to
- 1:21:16Speaker 2: buy for them because I respect and love them so much.
- 1:21:21Speaker 2: Let's start. Huh, this is the quote perfect Christmas gift
- 1:21:26Speaker 2: idea for Greg Gory. Okay, what kind of prompt did
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: you put in there?
- 1:21:31Speaker 5: So I said, give me the perfect Christmas gift for
- 1:21:34Speaker 5: Greg Gory from the Woody Show and AI, which.
- 1:21:38Speaker 2: We'll hear about here in a second. Well, no, no, Greg,
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: it gives me a list. Not only does it describe you,
- 1:21:43Speaker 2: it gives me like a paragraph about you and then
- 1:21:45Speaker 2: explains why from that paragraphs It's so, it says Greg Gory,
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: the posh voiced powerhouse behind the Woody Shows, seamless production
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: that means like voiceover and stuff, which I don't do
- 1:22:02Speaker 2: that sorry.
- 1:22:03Speaker 5: AI brings that deep, distinctive baritone to everything from traffic
- 1:22:08Speaker 5: reports to savage banter. Greg Gory is all about yard work,
- 1:22:14Speaker 5: plull side chills, yes yes, home renos, real estate flips,
- 1:22:20Speaker 5: and has pitbull Kelly.
- 1:22:22Speaker 8: Wow, it's better than humans.
- 1:22:27Speaker 5: Very specific for Christmas. These gifts lean into his laid
- 1:22:30Speaker 5: back luxuries and hands on hobbies. So here's what it
- 1:22:34Speaker 5: gave me, A list of like five things I got
- 1:22:36Speaker 5: here some way. They offered for you a Napa Valley
- 1:22:41Speaker 5: Wine Country tool set.
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: So it has nothing to do with wine. It's just
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: a toolkit from from.
- 1:22:52Speaker 5: So like a little but like I guess, it has
- 1:22:53Speaker 5: like a little wine opener thing built into the top.
- 1:22:56Speaker 5: Obviously I didn't buy that one.
- 1:22:57Speaker 8: That sounds great.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: A custom dog necklace tag for.
- 1:23:00Speaker 8: Alle that would be pretty damn cue.
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: Now would she have too many dog tags or custom
- 1:23:05Speaker 2: dog She.
- 1:23:06Speaker 8: Only has two at the moment.
- 1:23:07Speaker 2: She just has body bags.
- 1:23:08Speaker 11: Ye.
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: Did you didn't you make her a custom Gucci?
- 1:23:15Speaker 8: I will not take credit for that. Mario made and
- 1:23:17Speaker 8: it was like a Gucci belt. It was a Gucci
- 1:23:19Speaker 8: belt turned into a dog collar and it's gorge In
- 1:23:22Speaker 8: case you forgot they were gay, you have to know.
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: And now here's what I got again, inspired by AI
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: for Greg Gory, Old Dixie Bass. Here a personalized leather
- 1:23:33Speaker 5: bound gardening journal.
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: You can journal about so you can be organized about it.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: Ai even tells me why this is perfect for Greg Gory. Okay,
- 1:23:47Speaker 2: it's for the guy who geeks out on yard projects.
- 1:23:49Speaker 2: Shots down, Reno notes, plant ideas for even Callie's walking route.
- 1:23:55Speaker 2: That says, brilliant ideas I had while gardening. It's like
- 1:24:02Speaker 2: a wooden pen.
- 1:24:04Speaker 8: Memory stular Greg.
- 1:24:07Speaker 2: I think that is actually something that Greg would appreciate.
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: I mean.
- 1:24:11Speaker 8: That it exists.
- 1:24:13Speaker 4: Yeah, and it's not to take notes about gardening. It's
- 1:24:16Speaker 4: about like picky things I think of while I'm.
- 1:24:19Speaker 8: Gardening, because you have all that time to think.
- 1:24:21Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm looking at it like aesthetically, it screams Greg.
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: It's very nice authentically.
- 1:24:28Speaker 8: It has embossed flowers and that little the little thing
- 1:24:32Speaker 8: brilliant ideas I had about guarding the pennis and.
- 1:24:36Speaker 3: Greg does like a good pen. Yeah, dear Diary, thank
- 1:24:43Speaker 3: you very much. What else you got in that bag?
- 1:24:46Speaker 3: Perfect gift ideas for Menace from the wood. All right,
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: this is where I goes a little sideways. It starts
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: off as this Javier Menace real name Javier Romero.
- 1:25:01Speaker 2: Look at is the ultimate hype because remember a long
- 1:25:07Speaker 2: time ago, Menace is trying to pronounce the the name Havier,
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: and he said, well, just reading exactly, Menace is the
- 1:25:15Speaker 2: ultimate hype man with a flair for food obsessions, celebrity
- 1:25:19Speaker 2: gossip at the walking challenge is true, and turning his
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: birthday month into a full blown adventure. Ok Okay, yeah, okay.
- 1:25:27Speaker 5: Here's the three of the gift ideas from Ais. A
- 1:25:32Speaker 5: mystery text engraved key chain or wallet insert. Okay, mystery
- 1:25:39Speaker 5: text engraved key chain or wallet insert?
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: What does that mean?
- 1:25:43Speaker 5: It says it's perfect for Menace because this is a
- 1:25:45Speaker 5: callback to his cryptic on air bits.
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: Okay, so we don't understand what this is sometimes the
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: same way we don't understand what he's trying to say,
- 1:25:56Speaker 2: is okay, I got it?
- 1:25:57Speaker 5: Might say you might again, this is something you might
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: print on a piece of and put it in your
- 1:26:00Speaker 5: wallet or keychain. What's MENACE's next move?
- 1:26:05Speaker 17: All right?
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: All right?
- 1:26:07Speaker 8: Unique?
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: Or this other gift a portable bluetooth speaker with karaoke
- 1:26:12Speaker 5: mike Okay, karaoke amp up Friday Joki surprises for pool parties,
- 1:26:19Speaker 5: walks or for belting show anthem for when Greg needs
- 1:26:22Speaker 5: backup vocal Okay, alright, alright, I hate it or the
- 1:26:26Speaker 5: thing I actually did get from AI a gourmet Hot
- 1:26:30Speaker 5: Sauce subscription by picture Menace hyping this up on air,
- 1:26:38Speaker 5: saying this Hot Sauce set just ghosted my taste buds,
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: calling now with your reactions. Hot Sauce Tour from Puerto Rico, Mexico,
- 1:26:53Speaker 5: Australia and Coupa.
- 1:26:59Speaker 8: Wow.
- 1:27:00Speaker 2: So I like that, Thank you. I like Craig's book,
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: and that that was all we eventually got there for Menace.
- 1:27:07Speaker 8: Menace doesn't by the way, he got me forty.
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: Yeah, it's so yeah, all right, So we're gonna we're
- 1:27:14Speaker 2: gonna check back in with Old Saint Dick. My sack
- 1:27:17Speaker 2: is overflowing. He just has so much responsibility that AI.
- 1:27:20Speaker 2: He's kind of leaning on him now a little bit
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: to try to help out with you know, reduced.
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: All right, So we'll see what else that Old Saint
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: Dick has for us, and that big old sack coming
- 1:27:32Speaker 3: up here the next time The Wood Show. Hang on
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: what be considered a preservative genetically.
- 1:27:38Speaker 11: Modified genetically modified.
- 1:27:40Speaker 2: Menace origin Maybe yes, that's exactly right.
- 1:27:44Speaker 1: The show.
- 1:27:50Speaker 3: The Wood Show, and he is coming right down the
- 1:27:54Speaker 3: chimney Old Saint Dick Sea Mass Sea Bass clause.
- 1:28:00Speaker 2: He's leaning on AI this year, as most people are.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: They're leaning on an I more and more.
- 1:28:05Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: So in Old Saint Dick's sack over there, he pulled
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: out a nice gardening journal for Greg Gory and he
- 1:28:14Speaker 3: loves the pen.
- 1:28:16Speaker 8: Yeah, depend is depend is great. And I think I'll
- 1:28:19Speaker 8: journal all next year. And then at the end of
- 1:28:21Speaker 8: the year.
- 1:28:25Speaker 2: World and then uh a, I had a hard time
- 1:28:28Speaker 2: in Menace apparently in Miami, and then uh and then
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: it ended up coming up with something pretty decent. It
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: had the Hot Sauce Sampler.
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: World box, worldwide flights, Yeah, flight of different hot sauces,
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: which you know Menace is a big fan of hot sauces.
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: I mean, you know most people named you know, Javie
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: javer Ramera would be uh. And then next up inside
- 1:28:56Speaker 3: Old Saint Dick's sack, what do you got there?
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: These are the AI perfect gifts for Sammy Marinos this Christmas.
- 1:29:06Speaker 2: If you recall last year, Sammy got an official custom
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: official Barbie Stanley bux we gift to somebody. Wait, didn't
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: you have to do something.
- 1:29:16Speaker 8: To earn that?
- 1:29:18Speaker 15: To do math.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: That's right, all right, So this is what AI says
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: about Sammy. Says Sammy, she's the sharp witted executive producer
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: of the Woodi Show, known for her thick skin. Okay, sorry,
- 1:29:32Speaker 2: I love entertainment news. I guess yeah, she does. What
- 1:29:38Speaker 2: good reason there.
- 1:29:39Speaker 5: She's got a playful side too, I think humorous stories
- 1:29:42Speaker 5: about disastrous states and her Jewish heritage. Okay, So here's
- 1:29:53Speaker 5: some of the options that AI gave me. A custom
- 1:29:59Speaker 5: four day work week mug or T shirt. Also not here,
- 1:30:03Speaker 5: she made a song.
- 1:30:05Speaker 4: Yeah, so I knows that.
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: So yeah, I guess well that's where it popped up
- 1:30:09Speaker 2: because it searches. It's AI searches more than just text now,
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: it goes through every oh my god, yea, all that
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: kind of stuff.
- 1:30:16Speaker 5: So it says a cheeky callback to the hilarious music
- 1:30:19Speaker 5: video parody she started the ideal for her producer life
- 1:30:23Speaker 5: wrangling Woodi's chaos.
- 1:30:25Speaker 3: Yeah, for a person who is not a big singer
- 1:30:28Speaker 3: to have a music videos pretty this is Sammy four
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: day work week.
- 1:30:33Speaker 2: She did this for the last show that she worked.
- 1:30:36Speaker 13: It was Fordation drinking too much booze because I know
- 1:30:40Speaker 13: in five hours I'll.
- 1:30:41Speaker 2: Be feeling the blue.
- 1:30:43Speaker 13: This is a week it's about to start in the
- 1:30:47Speaker 13: thought of Monday morning.
- 1:30:48Speaker 11: Is making me farm.
- 1:30:50Speaker 2: It's about this time. I'm watching Game up thrown. The
- 1:30:54Speaker 2: weekend is over and I start to drown. I forgot
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: why I forgot that Gina had never heard this. Yeah,
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: there's there's a.
- 1:31:05Speaker 4: Video Christmas for me.
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: There's a video. Yeah, yeah, like everyone doesn't watch the
- 1:31:10Speaker 2: dish nation.
- 1:31:15Speaker 13: Was totally lady say, but really is it? The male
- 1:31:21Speaker 13: guy is out getting high a dozen, the h R
- 1:31:25Speaker 13: lady is posting paper severcat's nasting frozen but what.
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: A quarter of three?
- 1:31:31Speaker 8: Four day were?
- 1:31:34Speaker 4: Yeah, it's so Rachel Black.
- 1:31:39Speaker 16: Yeah.
- 1:31:40Speaker 13: This was during that time of the back of Black,
- 1:31:42Speaker 13: which is why the producers came up with this and
- 1:31:45Speaker 13: had the song written and all of that.
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: And it was also during the what does the Fox say?
- 1:31:50Speaker 2: Time period? And so the fox is in the.
- 1:31:53Speaker 4: Music video with me.
- 1:31:55Speaker 2: Very fun So check it out. It's a Sammy Marina
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: four day work week. And you say it's not on
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: the air anymore.
- 1:32:05Speaker 5: All right, Okay, so that's what it's a four day
- 1:32:08Speaker 5: work week, mug right, okay, or a subscription to Entertainment Weekly.
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: Oh, because she likes entertainment news apparently addicted or this
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: is the thing I actually got you from AI.
- 1:32:19Speaker 5: It says Sammy Marina from The Woody Show would absolutely
- 1:32:22Speaker 5: love a Star of David necklace. Wow, said, this is
- 1:32:34Speaker 5: a defined folks at Rehobeth.
- 1:32:36Speaker 7: Is that right?
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: Is a place in Maine.
- 1:32:39Speaker 8: I think fashion jewelry.
- 1:32:43Speaker 15: This is weird.
- 1:32:44Speaker 5: I don't know, so this is I don't know why
- 1:32:46Speaker 5: they did this. Whatever company in China made this. So
- 1:32:49Speaker 5: it's a star day. It's a silver star David. In
- 1:32:51Speaker 5: the middle of the Star of David is a cross.
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: Oh okay.
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: It's a lot of people's homeland, you know.
- 1:32:57Speaker 2: Wow, a lot of represent both religious. It was great.
- 1:33:01Speaker 4: At first I was going to get it, buy it
- 1:33:03Speaker 4: for me, but I'm good.
- 1:33:05Speaker 2: It was a little with Jesus.
- 1:33:07Speaker 6: It's like coexist, like appropriating culture.
- 1:33:14Speaker 4: No, especially these across in it. Jesus is from Nazareth,
- 1:33:17Speaker 4: right you Wow? That is stunning.
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: Yeah, where did I do?
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: Jesus is the reason for the season.
- 1:33:27Speaker 2: You know, it's a conversation starter. What is happening?
- 1:33:32Speaker 6: Confusing?
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: Like, yeah, all right, so old Saint Dick, we have
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: Ai Santa Claus ideas here.
- 1:33:39Speaker 5: And let's not forget Woody from The Woody Show. This
- 1:33:43Speaker 5: is ais again. These are perfect, perfect gifts, so it
- 1:33:47Speaker 5: can't be better. Based on Wood's long radio career, his
- 1:33:50Speaker 5: self deprecating humor about immaturity and negativity, and his famously
- 1:33:54Speaker 5: picky yet comfort loving food palates, He's all about simple
- 1:33:59Speaker 5: indulgences like chicken, palm, peanut butter, yes, and avoiding anything adventurous.
- 1:34:03Speaker 2: This is true.
- 1:34:05Speaker 8: This is all very good.
- 1:34:06Speaker 5: He geeks out over low brown joys. Also true, So
- 1:34:10Speaker 5: it should feel authentic, unpretentious, and maybe even poke fun
- 1:34:13Speaker 5: at his own quirks. Here's the options from AI, a
- 1:34:17Speaker 5: vintage Pittsburgh radio memborabilia set, including a custom replica of
- 1:34:21Speaker 5: his high school.
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: Radio station mic stand. What what he was a high
- 1:34:29Speaker 2: school radio DJ. Yeah, somebody has that somewhere. Yeah, they
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: thinking like, I mean, it's called a mic flag where
- 1:34:34Speaker 2: the logos on.
- 1:34:35Speaker 3: Oh no, we didn't have those. He had the stand
- 1:34:38Speaker 3: so like the mic arm or something like that. But

- 1:38:08Speaker 10: Hey guys, sn oh my god, listening to the podcast
- 1:38:11Speaker 10: right now. Gina, Gina, Gina, good god, Gina, Oh my god.
- 1:38:19Speaker 10: I I hold choks tea. I hate shock tea. You
- 1:38:24Speaker 10: know what she doesn't hate. She doesn't hate saying the

- 1:39:20Speaker 5: None, none of those three, okay, so a, I says, okay,
- 1:39:26Speaker 5: So I didn't get that neon signed. AI says Gina

- 1:39:34Speaker 5: did a one voice on a street Fighter game. Well
- 1:39:37Speaker 5: I'm Rose, right, Oh that's right.

- 1:39:40Speaker 4: A street Fighter I think started at four, right, so.
- 1:39:43Speaker 2: One of the later versions.
- 1:39:44Speaker 3: If you play one of those games, the character Rose
- 1:39:46Speaker 3: is voiced by Gina. Yeah, yeah, so I wonder what Ever,
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: here's what I actually got you, Gena. According to AI,
- 1:39:54Speaker 3: it says Gina would love to, in her honor, adopt.

- 1:40:24Speaker 2: I know they five minutes.
- 1:40:27Speaker 4: This is okay?
- 1:40:28Speaker 15: Can I be real?
- 1:40:29Speaker 4: It does look fake?
- 1:40:30Speaker 2: It's a I RT.
- 1:40:31Speaker 4: But if this isn't Sea Bass, is this true?
- 1:40:34Speaker 5: I will pay for a dog to get rescued and
- 1:40:36Speaker 5: adopted in Gena's name. I need to find out how
- 1:40:39Speaker 5: to do it.
- 1:40:39Speaker 2: Yeah, well I'll donate to the SPCA about that. No
- 1:40:43Speaker 2: find the dog.
- 1:40:45Speaker 9: If you really, if you really do this, starting getting
- 1:40:48Speaker 9: I'm getting choked up for real that I really hope
- 1:40:50Speaker 9: you do seems legitimately.
- 1:40:52Speaker 18: I am, I am.

- 1:40:54Speaker 4: Thank you AI L to save a dog in my name,
- 1:40:57Speaker 4: can I.
- 1:40:58Speaker 2: I didn't think you cared that much.

- 1:41:34Speaker 3: you know, we just did a trip to Dubai, you guys, Yeah,
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: so we know it can be spent. Yeah, but we
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: couldn't do that every morning, for example. But yeah, pretty
- 1:41:44Speaker 3: cool when you're getting something like that paid off.
- 1:41:47Speaker 2: Morgan. By the way, somebody on the after hours voicemail
- 1:41:50Speaker 2: let us something for you.
- 1:41:51Speaker 18: I wanted to congratulate Morgan on paying off her car notes.
- 1:41:55Speaker 18: Congrat girl. I just did that too, you know what
- 1:41:58Speaker 18: I'm saying. But Morgan, I think you should start putting
- 1:42:04Speaker 18: the amount you were paying towards your car note into savings.
- 1:42:08Speaker 18: So that way you'll just keep growing your savings and
- 1:42:12Speaker 18: next time you have car issues or if you need
- 1:42:15Speaker 18: to replace your vehicle, you'll have the cash available on hand.
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: Some responsible advice, right there? Another pair of boxing shoes. No,

- 1:42:59Speaker 6: I'm just scared to get and band again.
