Transcript
- 0:00Speaker 1: I get a team, welcome another installment of the Youth Project.
- 0:04Speaker 1: It's exactly what it's called. I was thinking it was
- 0:06Speaker 1: something else for a moment, but fuck it. I just
- 0:08Speaker 1: looked over my right shoulder and no, it is the
- 0:10Speaker 1: Youth Project. Scott Douglas is looking for reasons that might
- 0:15Speaker 1: reveal themselves in the next five to ten minutes. He's
- 0:18Speaker 1: looking somewhat awkward and clunky. Over there, he's normally looking.
- 0:22Speaker 1: He's normally looking relaxed. Scott, are you okay?
- 0:25Speaker 2: I'm very good, Thank you, mister Harper. How are you today?
- 0:28Speaker 3: Yeah, so great to have you back. Scott Douglas, what's
- 0:32Speaker 3: going on? All right?
- 0:34Speaker 2: I'm very good, thank you.
- 0:35Speaker 4: I had a fat, fantastic weekend and I went for
- 0:37Speaker 4: swin today, so I'm actually quite relaxed.
- 0:40Speaker 1: And tell tell the good listeners. We're recording this Tuesday,
- 0:44Speaker 1: two thirty seven in the PM, which is good because
- 0:47Speaker 1: it would be stupid otherwise it'd be the middle of
- 0:49Speaker 1: the night.
- 0:50Speaker 3: What you did on the weekend?
- 0:52Speaker 4: I went up to bright and I was an assistant
- 0:55Speaker 4: to the race director, so I drove one of the
- 0:58Speaker 4: cars literally behind groups large groups of cyclists for the
- 1:02Speaker 4: whole of the race, and it was without far one
- 1:04Speaker 4: of the most amazing.
- 1:04Speaker 2: Things I've had the privilege I've been involved in.
- 1:07Speaker 1: Now, what was your specific role other than hanging off
- 1:11Speaker 1: the big dog and going a look at me?
- 1:15Speaker 4: So I had a god named Greg in the front seat,
- 1:17Speaker 4: and he has like he's been in charge of Tour
- 1:21Speaker 4: de France, of Olympic rides, like he's quite well known
- 1:25Speaker 4: and a semi famous boss of that level of cycling.
- 1:30Speaker 2: And he literally would tell me exactly what to do
- 1:32Speaker 2: in a very stern voice, exactly.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Like he would say, please get closer, Please get close.
- 1:38Speaker 4: I need that guy's number. And we would literally do
- 1:40Speaker 4: in eighty kilometers an hour. So the bikes are doing
- 1:43Speaker 4: eighty kilometers an hour down a hill and I'd be
- 1:45Speaker 4: on the wrong side of the road because the road's closed,
- 1:47Speaker 4: and I would pull up beside a cyclist and he
- 1:49Speaker 4: would take the guy's number or speak to the guy,
- 1:51Speaker 4: and then we'd back off.
- 1:52Speaker 2: And he's like the judge. He's at the head judge
- 1:54Speaker 2: of the race.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Now, hang on, I should clarify because you're a motorcyclist
- 2:00Speaker 1: the driver.
- 2:00Speaker 3: Were you on a bike or in a car?
- 2:02Speaker 2: In a car?
- 2:03Speaker 3: All right?
- 2:04Speaker 1: And and so you were were You were not there in
- 2:06Speaker 1: as a paramedic.
- 2:08Speaker 4: No, but I was constantly asked about when there was crashes,
- 2:13Speaker 4: so I sort of was there on a consulting basis,
- 2:15Speaker 4: like do you think we need an ambulance?
- 2:17Speaker 2: Yes, we do.
- 2:19Speaker 4: My actual role was to drive the two head judges
- 2:22Speaker 4: around the races, which is now.
- 2:24Speaker 1: What I You know what I find interesting about you.
- 2:27Speaker 1: You're a man of many talents and a doer of
- 2:31Speaker 1: many things. But I find it funny because you're kind
- 2:35Speaker 1: of would you call yourself an introvert, an extrovert or
- 2:39Speaker 1: an ambivert, which is kind of you can switch?
- 2:42Speaker 3: Or do you think it's a bit context dependent? Yeah?
- 2:45Speaker 2: I think it's.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I trust you, so I happily will discuss subjects that
- 2:50Speaker 4: I wouldn't trust with I wouldn't trust with other people.
- 2:53Speaker 4: I know you're never going to make me look silly,
- 2:54Speaker 4: So I happily have a conversation with you, which is
- 2:57Speaker 4: the rons and it goes to air. But I don't
- 2:59Speaker 4: have to be room on those people are listening. But
- 3:01Speaker 4: there's aspects of my life that are no one's business
- 3:04Speaker 4: but mine, and I don't want.
- 3:05Speaker 2: To share them.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, I think.
- 3:07Speaker 2: It's everyone really, So.
- 3:09Speaker 3: Yeah, I think so, I think so. I mean what
- 3:11Speaker 3: I love about you is you are you are? You
- 3:14Speaker 3: are a.
- 3:16Speaker 1: You're an atypical excellent communicator because you have a kind
- 3:21Speaker 1: of a weird, clunky, but beautifully creative and interesting way
- 3:26Speaker 1: of telling stories and sharing insights and building engagement and
- 3:32Speaker 1: building connection in a way that nobody could ever fucking teach.
- 3:37Speaker 1: If I tried to teach someone to be you, to
- 3:40Speaker 1: communicate like you, I would not know where to start.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Well, sometimes I don't know where to start either.
- 3:48Speaker 4: But sometimes someone asks me what I think is a
- 3:50Speaker 4: really genuinely nice question, and I want to think about
- 3:54Speaker 4: the answer before I provide it, so I try very
- 3:56Speaker 4: hard to understand the question itself and maybe their motive
- 4:00Speaker 4: for asking that particular question.
- 4:03Speaker 1: You've been really open in the last oh I don't
- 4:05Speaker 1: know how many episodes we've done together talking about the
- 4:09Speaker 1: trials and tribulations and traumas of being a first responder,
- 4:14Speaker 1: specifically with you a paramedic, and the fact that you
- 4:19Speaker 1: have or do use a psych I think a psychologist
- 4:23Speaker 1: and a psychiatrist. Is that still true?
- 4:25Speaker 2: Yes?
- 4:26Speaker 4: And I have an ironically die listens to your podcast
- 4:31Speaker 4: Oll I die, she will be so stoked that you
- 4:33Speaker 4: said that.
- 4:34Speaker 2: And then I'm seeing her this Saturday.
- 4:35Speaker 3: So which ones die?
- 4:37Speaker 4: She's the psych she's the psych, so yes, and she's
- 4:40Speaker 4: loving her. I honestly believe I wouldn't have the capacity
- 4:43Speaker 4: to even have this conversation with you, mate, so absolutely, adore.
- 4:47Speaker 2: I dedicated my first book to her.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So, I mean, apart from my understanding of course of
- 4:52Speaker 1: a psychologist and a psychiatrist, but what's the distinction between
- 4:56Speaker 1: them for you in that the role they play in
- 5:00Speaker 1: helping you be the best you?
- 5:02Speaker 4: One can prescribe medication. Yeah, so that would literally is
- 5:08Speaker 4: a difference. And I'm literally, you know, in the in
- 5:13Speaker 4: the like the open.
- 5:16Speaker 2: We are now talking honestly about what's going on with me.
- 5:18Speaker 4: So I have started a new medication which is a
- 5:23Speaker 4: trial medication, but for me, it's actually worked incredibly well.
- 5:26Speaker 4: And I literally had to have a conversation with my
- 5:28Speaker 4: doctor on Monday about that and it was very interesting.
- 5:32Speaker 4: So I was very quite hesitant to try medication. I
- 5:35Speaker 4: didn't want it to mess with my brain. I didn't
- 5:37Speaker 4: want to write the way I.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Think, or I communicate or I operate.
- 5:42Speaker 4: But this particular medication for me personally and adotally has
- 5:45Speaker 4: been amazing, and it's just allowed me to sleep.
- 5:48Speaker 2: That's actually why I it stops nightmares.
- 5:51Speaker 1: And so would it be fair to say that one
- 5:54Speaker 1: one of them is more about your psychology and one
- 5:56Speaker 1: is more about your physiology, although they're both kind of overlapped,
- 6:00Speaker 1: but one's really about looking after your brain and one's
- 6:03Speaker 1: really about helping your mind.
- 6:05Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, I think that's a really good analogy, mate.
- 6:08Speaker 4: And some of the conversations I've had with Die about
- 6:12Speaker 4: my childhood.
- 6:13Speaker 2: And I don't even remember that thing that.
- 6:15Speaker 4: She asks me about until she asks me, and you
- 6:18Speaker 4: think why, I wonder why I don't remember that, and
- 6:19Speaker 4: then you start talking not too similar to when me
- 6:22Speaker 4: and you talked about, like me sleeping at the train station.
- 6:24Speaker 4: I had not remembered that until you sort of pulled
- 6:27Speaker 4: down and then I started remembering the fact that I
- 6:30Speaker 4: did run away on a regular basis and sleeping parks
- 6:33Speaker 4: and sleep on roofs and sleep at a train station.
- 6:37Speaker 3: We know trauma is shit, of course, and we know
- 6:40Speaker 3: PTSD as shit.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Is there anything that comes out of trauma that's a positive?
- 6:47Speaker 1: I know Paul Taylor talks about post traumatic growth and
- 6:51Speaker 1: a few other people talk about that. But for you,
- 6:55Speaker 1: forget the science or the academic literature, but for you,
- 6:59Speaker 1: as somebody who's like being through it and still going
- 7:02Speaker 1: through it, is there any upside to trauma or going
- 7:06Speaker 1: through that shit?
- 7:07Speaker 4: Yeah, your capacity to like everyone's worst day is their
- 7:11Speaker 4: worst day, and for some people their worst day is
- 7:13Speaker 4: literally smashing their shin on their toeba, which, think about it,
- 7:15Speaker 4: that's fucking traumatic. Yeah, that's obviously not my worst day,
- 7:19Speaker 4: and you never want it to be a pissing contest.
- 7:21Speaker 4: But I've certainly had days then they stack and you go, well,
- 7:27Speaker 4: this isn't as bad as that. So you do this
- 7:28Speaker 4: comparison thing where you go that job, well, this job
- 7:32Speaker 4: is not as bad as that. So I think you
- 7:34Speaker 4: build up a very thick skin and you have the
- 7:36Speaker 4: capacity to then enter a house. And that's something that
- 7:38Speaker 4: we talk about with our students, like students are on
- 7:41Speaker 4: how do you walk into that situation where you've done it,
- 7:44Speaker 4: unfortunately unfortunately a dozen times before, So you do build
- 7:48Speaker 4: up a resilience and I think that does help you
- 7:50Speaker 4: then with other things.
- 7:52Speaker 1: It's interesting how like and I don't think my days
- 7:57Speaker 1: and as you said, it's not a pissing contest, and
- 7:59Speaker 1: it's not comparison. But I think I've had pretty much
- 8:03Speaker 1: zero trauma compared to what you've had. But my potential
- 8:09Speaker 1: worst day where the crab died in front of me,
- 8:12Speaker 1: turned out to be one of my best days. You know,
- 8:14Speaker 1: clearly I don't want that to happen again. But where
- 8:17Speaker 1: your friend literally dies for seventeen minutes and they're dead
- 8:20Speaker 1: in front of you and all that, you know what
- 8:22Speaker 1: that looks like. You know what someone who's been dead
- 8:24Speaker 1: for quarter of an hour looks like. It's not a
- 8:26Speaker 1: great sight. And then when they're not, you're like, oh, like,
- 8:31Speaker 1: talk about a fucking roller coaster of chemicals and emotions
- 8:38Speaker 1: and experiences. And I don't know how many thoughts go
- 8:42Speaker 1: through my mind in a typical minute, but fuck me drunk,
- 8:45Speaker 1: there was about one million going through my mind at
- 8:48Speaker 1: that time.
- 8:49Speaker 2: May I say something about that, Craig?
- 8:51Speaker 4: Do you And this would be a question to you,
- 8:53Speaker 4: do you believe it has made that experience for you,
- 8:56Speaker 4: has made you a better person? And my second question
- 8:58Speaker 4: would be do you believe your love for that man
- 9:01Speaker 4: now is greater?
- 9:03Speaker 3: Yes? And yes?
- 9:05Speaker 1: I think I don't know if I'm a good person
- 9:07Speaker 1: or not. And I'm not fishing when I say that.
- 9:10Speaker 1: I hope I am. But I don't think that's for
- 9:11Speaker 1: me to judge, but it certainly certain it's certainly given
- 9:17Speaker 1: me a level of insight and understanding and awareness and
- 9:19Speaker 1: compassion and perspective about what fucking matters. I think I
- 9:24Speaker 1: always had a reasonable perspective. That's not true. When I
- 9:28Speaker 1: was younger, I didn't. But in the last twenty years
- 9:31Speaker 1: I think of it. But that really just brought everything
- 9:33Speaker 1: screamingly into perspective. And yeah, yeah, of course I love him.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I care about him. It's one of my best friends
- 9:42Speaker 1: in the world. But I would do that for literally
- 9:45Speaker 1: anyone in the world.
- 9:46Speaker 2: Yes, I agree.
- 9:48Speaker 4: I guess the point I'm making is I had the
- 9:50Speaker 4: privilege of experience in that sometimes every other day.
- 9:55Speaker 3: So for me, it's amazing.
- 9:57Speaker 4: Yeah, thought to myself, if I stop now, it's okay, Yeah,
- 10:03Speaker 4: you don't do this anymore.
- 10:05Speaker 2: I think I did a good job.
- 10:07Speaker 1: So we're going to open a slightly uncomfortable door, but
- 10:09Speaker 1: fuck it, it's my show. So when you're navigating mental
- 10:17Speaker 1: health stuff, right, and you're trying to manage you, yes, right,
- 10:21Speaker 1: and you are you are, like you're trying to keep
- 10:27Speaker 1: yourself together and be a good in your case, good dad,
- 10:30Speaker 1: good friend, good paramedic, good medical professional, good writer, good
- 10:37Speaker 1: podcast co host.
- 10:39Speaker 3: You're almost a co host now all of the things.
- 10:42Speaker 3: Do you worry about getting in a relationship? Yes, do
- 10:46Speaker 3: you think? Do you think? I don't know if that's
- 10:48Speaker 3: a good idea?
- 10:49Speaker 2: Yes?
- 10:50Speaker 3: All the time? Yeah, right, and so when you kind
- 10:53Speaker 3: of obviously.
- 10:54Speaker 1: It depends pretty much on the person, right, Yes, I
- 10:58Speaker 1: mean there are a.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Lot of variables.
- 10:59Speaker 1: But even if if you've even if you've got all
- 11:01Speaker 1: your shit sorted, but you connect with the wrong person,
- 11:04Speaker 1: that's going to be problematic.
- 11:05Speaker 3: Right, So what what do you like?
- 11:08Speaker 1: What goes through your mind when you think about moving
- 11:11Speaker 1: into a different stage of your life or to potentially
- 11:16Speaker 1: find a partner or spend time with someone and see
- 11:18Speaker 1: if something evolves.
- 11:20Speaker 4: Well that so you might start spending time with someone
- 11:23Speaker 4: and then you constantly have to check in on them
- 11:25Speaker 4: to make sure that you're not burdening them with what
- 11:31Speaker 4: you're carrying, Like you there might be subjectly flat stick
- 11:35Speaker 4: don't talk about Yeah, and so sometimes some people, and
- 11:39Speaker 4: I've had this conversation with some of my colleagues. But
- 11:42Speaker 4: some people are attracted to what we do, and I
- 11:44Speaker 4: say we myself and maybe firemen and police officers. So
- 11:47Speaker 4: so I you know, I date females. So some females
- 11:51Speaker 4: are attracted to that, and they like they light up
- 11:53Speaker 4: when you say, oh, this is what I do for
- 11:54Speaker 4: a living. But that's because, in my opinion, they have
- 11:56Speaker 4: an unrealistic expectation of what we do. So those kind
- 12:01Speaker 4: of people probably would be quite problematic to date.
- 12:06Speaker 1: How long since you've had a partner, girlfriend, life?
- 12:10Speaker 3: Anything?
- 12:12Speaker 2: Quite some time? Actually?
- 12:16Speaker 1: Well what a year? Five years? It's a year a year,
- 12:21Speaker 1: so you've just been dagging around for a year or so? Possibly, yes,
- 12:25Speaker 1: anything on the horizon that I mean, I don't know, like,
- 12:28Speaker 1: is there is there anyone?
- 12:30Speaker 3: Is Is there anyone?
- 12:31Speaker 1: I mean, we don't me in the list what, yes, there.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Is me and the listeners do not want to pry. Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 2: Now it's been very very interesting for me. Right. So
- 12:43Speaker 2: obviously I retired and I did a whole bunch.
- 12:46Speaker 4: I went to grief school, which is really cool, and
- 12:48Speaker 4: I went away and I traveled, and I spent a
- 12:49Speaker 4: whole bunch of time by myself, making sure that I
- 12:52Speaker 4: was well and I wanted to get myself well and
- 12:54Speaker 4: be a better dad, and be a bit all the
- 12:56Speaker 4: things that you suggested. Right, Obviously, I'll come back to
- 12:59Speaker 4: Australia and I think about what I'm going to do next.
- 13:02Speaker 4: And obviously I was spending a lot more time with you,
- 13:05Speaker 4: and then I started spending a bit of time with
- 13:08Speaker 4: a person who I realized was very special. And then
- 13:12Speaker 4: I was like, okay, well this person is incredibly special,
- 13:15Speaker 4: then you need to go very slow and make sure
- 13:18Speaker 4: you speak to them about who you are and on
- 13:22Speaker 4: the journey that you've been on, because there's a high
- 13:25Speaker 4: probability you're still traveling on that path.
- 13:28Speaker 2: And so look, my biggest fear is always harming someone,
- 13:32Speaker 2: you know.
- 13:33Speaker 1: So that for me feel like I feel like if
- 13:35Speaker 1: someone's listening, they're thinking that you're about to tell the
- 13:38Speaker 1: world that you and I are in a relationship.
- 13:46Speaker 3: So we're talking about a woman, not me, right, it's a.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Beautiful and incredibly intelligent young lady.
- 13:52Speaker 3: Yes, wow, wow, who might who might that be?
- 13:59Speaker 5: Well?
- 13:59Speaker 2: That's can we mystery woman?
- 14:03Speaker 3: Mystery woman?
- 14:04Speaker 5: My harps?
- 14:06Speaker 6: Oh no, fuck, she's come out from behind the curtain,
- 14:14Speaker 6: the typ curtain.
- 14:16Speaker 3: Oh my god, you two that's a fucking train wreck.
- 14:21Speaker 3: Stop now, No, don't do it. What are you thinking?
- 14:25Speaker 1: Oh it's so good? No, I'm just kidding off. Known
- 14:28Speaker 1: for a while everyone, TIF, Tip's got a boyfriend. TIF,
- 14:32Speaker 1: you've got a boyfriend. Tip's got a boyfriend. How how
- 14:37Speaker 1: uncomfortable were you sitting there for those fucking fifteen minutes?
- 14:41Speaker 5: Relatively? Probably it was more uncomfortable.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Now, what about clunky Mt Clunkster in the top left
- 14:48Speaker 1: hand corner stumbling over his words?
- 14:50Speaker 3: All the charismas seeped.
- 14:52Speaker 1: Out of his bottom and he was just trying to
- 14:54Speaker 1: fucking I've never seen him such a straighty one eighty
- 14:59Speaker 1: all building.
- 14:59Speaker 3: To this moment?
- 15:00Speaker 1: All right, tell us what's going on. When did you
- 15:04Speaker 1: first hang out? What did you like? Everyone wants to know.
- 15:06Speaker 1: Did you go for a motorbike ride? Did you eat food?
- 15:10Speaker 1: Did you talk about the meaning of what happened?
- 15:13Speaker 2: We had coffee.
- 15:14Speaker 4: We had coffee quite some time ago, and it was lovely,
- 15:18Speaker 4: and then we started doing other stuff, like we went
- 15:20Speaker 4: from motor socle ride and that.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Was I thought.
- 15:21Speaker 4: Tiff made an amazing effort because she had to obviously
- 15:24Speaker 4: come to my place, which is an hour from where
- 15:26Speaker 4: we live.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Where she lived sorry, And then we went.
- 15:28Speaker 4: Down the coast, which was a very long ride, and
- 15:31Speaker 4: I thought, man, this chick's fucking cool, Like it's going
- 15:33Speaker 4: to make this such a massive effort to do this
- 15:35Speaker 4: thing that I like and she likes.
- 15:37Speaker 2: So yeah, but it was very for me, like it
- 15:40Speaker 2: was very stressful.
- 15:42Speaker 4: Well, in what way have you not seen her, Deltoyd's Craig, Like,
- 15:47Speaker 4: imagine making a false move, Imagine inadvertently accidentally touching her
- 15:51Speaker 4: on the ass while you're walking down the street and
- 15:53Speaker 4: your categoric is not mean to yeah, making a mouth.
- 15:58Speaker 1: Were you thinking she just nice and she's nice like
- 16:01Speaker 1: this to everybody?
- 16:03Speaker 3: Or because there are kinds of nice.
- 16:05Speaker 1: There's the nice where I'm into you nice like put
- 16:09Speaker 1: your arm around me, or let's go on a date,
- 16:11Speaker 1: or let's all kiss me on the fucking face or
- 16:13Speaker 1: something right and what the fuck's wrong with you? And
- 16:16Speaker 1: then there's the other nice where she's just a good
- 16:19Speaker 1: person who's really polite to everyone.
- 16:23Speaker 4: I thought, so when we first started like spending time together,
- 16:26Speaker 4: I didn't think we would go on a date. I
- 16:28Speaker 4: was very very happy just to go from a motorbike
- 16:30Speaker 4: ride or get some food or talk. We would just
- 16:33Speaker 4: talk for ages and it was lovely. And it wasn't
- 16:35Speaker 4: until much later that I actually had to ask her
- 16:38Speaker 4: out on an actual date.
- 16:40Speaker 3: How did you go with that tip?
- 16:43Speaker 5: Good?
- 16:44Speaker 3: Look at you. I've never seen you.
- 16:47Speaker 1: Talk less on this show, and I've never seen you embarrassed.
- 16:52Speaker 3: This is the best time of my life.
- 16:56Speaker 4: I think what was harder, Craig was coffee with you.
- 17:00Speaker 4: Once you found out.
- 17:04Speaker 2: That was fucking scary.
- 17:06Speaker 1: That's all right, as long as we just got to
- 17:08Speaker 1: look after each other and you're very happy. I'm happy
- 17:12Speaker 1: as a pig. And shit, you know why because she
- 17:17Speaker 1: thinks you're great. You think she's great. You know, who
- 17:21Speaker 1: knows what's going to happen, But you know, I think
- 17:23Speaker 1: you too are a good fit. And I don't know
- 17:26Speaker 1: who I would have said that about, for Tiff, like
- 17:31Speaker 1: or you for that matter. But it's like.
- 17:35Speaker 3: Tiff said to me a few weeks ago.
- 17:38Speaker 1: Something like I'm seeing someone or something like that, because
- 17:43Speaker 1: she rang me at a weird time. I think it
- 17:46Speaker 1: was like eight thirty on a Tuesday night. And she
- 17:48Speaker 1: never rings unless it's for a reason like training or
- 17:52Speaker 1: podcasting or to ask me a question. And she got
- 17:56Speaker 1: on the phone and she was just talking about nothing
- 17:58Speaker 1: in particular. I could take thirty at night. Well, it's fuck.
- 18:02Speaker 1: My brain like is in the desk? What are you doing?
- 18:04Speaker 1: Like this is not my peak performance time. I don't
- 18:08Speaker 1: know if I can help you, and kind of what.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Do you want? She has?
- 18:11Speaker 2: Ah ah, So I've.
- 18:13Speaker 3: Been seeing someone.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I go, and my first question was a boy or
- 18:18Speaker 1: a girl, because I thought, who knows? And she goes
- 18:23Speaker 1: to boy and I go, I know who it is,
- 18:25Speaker 1: and I knew it was you straight up.
- 18:28Speaker 2: She's like, how did you know that?
- 18:29Speaker 1: I go, because I kind of you're probably both weird
- 18:33Speaker 1: enough to be awesome together.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Yes, that's right.
- 18:37Speaker 1: What does it feel like for you tif to be
- 18:40Speaker 1: in a relationship, because I feel like for a while
- 18:42Speaker 1: you were well, I don't feel like you were quite
- 18:45Speaker 1: anti relationship.
- 18:46Speaker 5: I literally just had a conversation with the wonderful doctor
- 18:50Speaker 5: Bruce Perry on my show, saying that I've never been
- 18:54Speaker 5: less interested in blokes or relationships in my life, and
- 19:00Speaker 5: it really it feels really nice, very good.
- 19:03Speaker 4: Yeah, and so obviously I heard that podcast and then when, oh,
- 19:07Speaker 4: that's cool that that young lady's not interested in a relationship.
- 19:11Speaker 2: That's cool. We'll just keep having coffee.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, that's what about the dance? What about the
- 19:18Speaker 3: dance with no pants? What's happening there?
- 19:21Speaker 5: What?
- 19:22Speaker 3: Hello? Come in? Hello? Anyone? Anyone? All right?
- 19:28Speaker 1: Well, hey, listeners, just let me tell you they're both
- 19:32Speaker 1: falling off their chairs. Will schedule that for another podcast.
- 19:35Speaker 1: But I'll circle back everyone, I'll circle back and I'll
- 19:38Speaker 1: see where we stand. But from the faces, I'm guessing, yes,
- 19:43Speaker 1: here's the answer.
- 19:44Speaker 3: I don't want to. I mean, I'm not a detective.
- 19:47Speaker 1: I'm not officially a detective, but you know that I'm
- 19:50Speaker 1: good at figuring it out. So I'm just going to
- 19:52Speaker 1: go with probably. You're welcome, listeners. They all wanted to know.
- 20:00Speaker 1: It's hot. All right, let's let's move on. Well, let's
- 20:05Speaker 1: let's talk about other shit. Congratulations, TIF, congrats, Scottie, congrats
- 20:09Speaker 1: all silliness side. I love you both, and I think
- 20:12Speaker 1: it's fucking amazing, and I wish you fucking thirty forty
- 20:16Speaker 1: years of happiness and fun. And the first TYP marriage,
- 20:21Speaker 1: I mean, what could go? Okay, all right, jumping the
- 20:24Speaker 1: gun a little, all right, the first TYP partnership.
- 20:29Speaker 3: It's beautiful. It's a beautiful thing.
- 20:32Speaker 2: Yes, thank you very much, that's good, mate, that's good.
- 20:36Speaker 1: So what do you what are you doing now other
- 20:37Speaker 1: than dating one of my employees, one of my staff
- 20:41Speaker 1: who's who's lost all fucking focus and productivity thanks to you,
- 20:47Speaker 1: and she's exhausted. I'm not saying refer to question one,
- 20:51Speaker 1: what's what's on the go? Are you going back to
- 20:56Speaker 1: wa to work in the minds or what are you
- 20:58Speaker 1: doing for a while?
- 21:00Speaker 2: I don't think.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Probably maybe next year, but at the moment that's because
- 21:03Speaker 4: I've got a dog now, so and that sounds crazy,
- 21:07Speaker 4: but if people are, you're listening to your own dogs.
- 21:09Speaker 2: Yeah, So this dog's taken over my life.
- 21:11Speaker 4: And that was interesting because I actually got the dog
- 21:14Speaker 4: before I started dating Tiff. So I have a dog,
- 21:18Speaker 4: and I don't know if it's the right thing to say,
- 21:20Speaker 4: but I also have a girlfriend now so so I'm
- 21:23Speaker 4: very My life is very, very different than it was
- 21:26Speaker 4: six weeks ago, which is such a massive shift, and
- 21:30Speaker 4: and it's lovely, Like, you know, the dog's amazing.
- 21:33Speaker 2: The dog has really been very very good for me.
- 21:35Speaker 4: And it's a rescue dog and you know, like yeah,
- 21:38Speaker 4: so and then I you know, I have.
- 21:41Speaker 1: You know what you just said, you just said six
- 21:43Speaker 1: weeks ago, I didn't have a dog or a girlfriend
- 21:46Speaker 1: and I got and the dog's amazing.
- 21:48Speaker 2: Yeh, I fucking know this is this is actually harder
- 21:50Speaker 2: than I thought it would be.
- 21:51Speaker 4: I'll I don't want to say the wrong thing, but no,
- 21:57Speaker 4: aspects of my life have changed in such an amazing
- 21:59Speaker 4: and one direction.
- 22:01Speaker 2: So it's really that good.
- 22:02Speaker 1: And also, Tiff, I'm just fucking with you. I'll stop. Oh,
- 22:11Speaker 1: this is the best time I've ever had on a podcast.
- 22:14Speaker 1: And what about you, Tip, do you just like, has
- 22:16Speaker 1: it changed the way that you think about stuff or
- 22:19Speaker 1: in terms of or it's just business as usual, but
- 22:22Speaker 1: Scott is in your life now.
- 22:27Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know, it's it's very distracting, Harps, I'm
- 22:30Speaker 5: not getting much work done.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 22:35Speaker 5: I just I just never saw it coming, Like I
- 22:38Speaker 5: just had resolved to probably maybe not having the capacity
- 22:44Speaker 5: to let someone in like this.
- 22:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I think I think it's great. Yeah, I never thought.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I didn't think you would have a boyfriend or a
- 22:53Speaker 1: bloke for I didn't think ever, but I thought for
- 22:56Speaker 1: quite a while because you were pretty like, you know,
- 23:00Speaker 1: fuck men, you're a little bit fuck men. Yeah, yeah, Scott,
- 23:08Speaker 1: you need to get back on microphone. Son, I sorry, Yeah,
- 23:14Speaker 1: we heard that, Scotty. You said that you listened to
- 23:19Speaker 1: episode twenty sixty four and I don't even know that
- 23:23Speaker 1: was Tiff, and I was it.
- 23:24Speaker 2: It was amazing.
- 23:25Speaker 1: I feel like, was that very recent? I don't know
- 23:28Speaker 1: what Monday I remember? Yeah, is that the one where
- 23:31Speaker 1: we're at the end? TIF we went that was maybe
- 23:33Speaker 1: the best you and me chat we've ever done.
- 23:36Speaker 3: What did you like about it?
- 23:37Speaker 4: I love the way you talked about the whole friendship
- 23:40Speaker 4: thing and people lifting you up.
- 23:41Speaker 2: And stuff like I really didn't like.
- 23:43Speaker 4: As a listener, I love it, not say And obviously
- 23:46Speaker 4: I have the privilege of knowing you both, and I
- 23:49Speaker 4: was trying to be very quite subjective about it. I
- 23:51Speaker 4: thought I could be, and I actually messaged Tiff and said,
- 23:54Speaker 4: this isn't that podcast, mate, or bullshit aside.
- 23:56Speaker 2: That's a beautiful podcast. It really was. But I just
- 23:59Speaker 2: the way you put it together.
- 24:01Speaker 3: Yeah, no, thank you.
- 24:02Speaker 1: I mean, obviously I'm a bit of a contradiction because
- 24:09Speaker 1: on the one hand, like I deal with really like
- 24:12Speaker 1: both you, like I deal with really hard things. Really,
- 24:15Speaker 1: I deal with people who are suicidal and ideal with
- 24:17Speaker 1: people who have got massive issues and but like I
- 24:22Speaker 1: need to have light and shade, you know, and I'm
- 24:24Speaker 1: dealing with stuff with my dad at the moment.
- 24:26Speaker 3: There's a few hard things going on.
- 24:28Speaker 1: But I think doing all of that, and even having
- 24:32Speaker 1: these conversations, it makes you think deeply about what actually
- 24:37Speaker 1: like really matters, like what you know. And it's all
- 24:40Speaker 1: and tif and I've said this before, it's all well
- 24:43Speaker 1: and good to talk about values and living.
- 24:45Speaker 3: In alignment and you know, but like when you.
- 24:49Speaker 1: Get away from the fluff and the hyperbole of a podcast,
- 24:53Speaker 1: where you can, you know, if you're like me, you
- 24:55Speaker 1: can make it sound good because I've got skills, you know,
- 24:58Speaker 1: and you can get on here and you can bang
- 25:00Speaker 1: on and you can sound noble and nice and a
- 25:02Speaker 1: bit clever. But it kind of really matters what you're
- 25:05Speaker 1: doing when you're off the podcast. And I think that
- 25:08Speaker 1: I think the more that we can, you know, even
- 25:11Speaker 1: when I say to you two, like I ask you
- 25:13Speaker 1: that question, which obviously I'm fucking around and I'm being silly,
- 25:17Speaker 1: but I kind of think I wonder if any of
- 25:19Speaker 1: the listeners are wondering if that's happened yet, right, So.
- 25:22Speaker 3: So I go, I'm just fuck it. I'm just going
- 25:24Speaker 3: to throw it out there.
- 25:25Speaker 1: I know they're not going to answer, but you know,
- 25:27Speaker 1: it's trying to have an awareness of other people, like
- 25:30Speaker 1: what am I like for them?
- 25:31Speaker 3: Really? And what is this show like? And what is
- 25:34Speaker 3: this interaction like?
- 25:35Speaker 1: And I think you know, being the kind of person
- 25:40Speaker 1: that people want to be around. If that's you, I
- 25:43Speaker 1: think you're doing something well, you know.
- 25:46Speaker 4: Yeah, absolutely, And like that's the whole thing of you
- 25:49Speaker 4: spend the most the most time you spend with someone
- 25:51Speaker 4: as you how about making that person interesting that's interesting
- 25:55Speaker 4: for you, then it's a high probability you're going to
- 25:58Speaker 4: be interesting for the person that you interact with. Yes,
- 26:01Speaker 4: And that can be as simple as reading books or
- 26:03Speaker 4: just learning music or listening to a podcast where you
- 26:07Speaker 4: develop an opinion about something.
- 26:09Speaker 2: You look into that.
- 26:09Speaker 4: Opinion and next thing you know, you're having quite a
- 26:12Speaker 4: robust conversation with someone in regards to a subject that
- 26:15Speaker 4: maybe you weren't going to discuss.
- 26:16Speaker 2: Before, which is a lot a lot. You know, this
- 26:19Speaker 2: is the beauty of what you guys do.
- 26:21Speaker 1: And also genuinely being in like really being interested in someone,
- 26:25Speaker 1: not just trying to keep the conversation going. But actually
- 26:30Speaker 1: being interested in or curious about what they do. You know,
- 26:35Speaker 1: I think that that when when people feel like they
- 26:38Speaker 1: are the center of your attention and they are actually
- 26:40Speaker 1: the center of your attention, there's something powerful in that,
- 26:44Speaker 1: And I think, and I don't always do that. I
- 26:47Speaker 1: try to do that, but you know, I actually had
- 26:50Speaker 1: a meeting yesterday with doctor Denise Vaness and Melissa.
- 26:54Speaker 3: We're doing a little project.
- 26:55Speaker 1: And I got off and I was in fucking obrah
- 27:00Speaker 1: Iron's windscreens in Clayton, right. I'd sit there for three
- 27:04Speaker 1: hours while I've got a new wind screen put in
- 27:06Speaker 1: my carts. That's a terrific way to pass the time,
- 27:08Speaker 1: boys and girls. But anyway, so I had a one
- 27:11Speaker 1: hour meeting and I got off that meeting.
- 27:13Speaker 3: In fact, it was an hour and twenty minutes.
- 27:14Speaker 1: I got off that and I'm sitting in this waiting
- 27:17Speaker 1: room with headphones on, doing a meeting on my phone,
- 27:20Speaker 1: and I was a bit grumpy. I was a bit
- 27:23Speaker 1: worried about my dad. I was a bit grumpy because
- 27:25Speaker 1: it was hot in this room, and I was a
- 27:27Speaker 1: bit feeling sorry for myself. And I came away from
- 27:33Speaker 1: that with an awareness that I don't think that would
- 27:36Speaker 1: have been an awesome experience for her, and I rang
- 27:39Speaker 1: her this I rang her this morning and said, I
- 27:43Speaker 1: want to apologize for not being the best me that
- 27:47Speaker 1: I could be yesterday when we had our meeting. And
- 27:50Speaker 1: I didn't do anything wrong and we did what we
- 27:53Speaker 1: needed to do, but I was just aware that I
- 27:56Speaker 1: didn't bring great energy into that experience with her, and
- 28:00Speaker 1: I felt bad and she was. She didn't she didn't say, yeah,
- 28:04Speaker 1: thank god you rang me, because she's like, well, it
- 28:07Speaker 1: was fine to me, but thank you. But yeah, I
- 28:09Speaker 1: just I care, not from an insecurity point of view,
- 28:14Speaker 1: but I care that being around me is, for the
- 28:17Speaker 1: most part, a good experience for people.
- 28:20Speaker 4: I think that's all you could want for yourself. Craig,
- 28:22Speaker 4: Like you know if you enter a room and you
- 28:25Speaker 4: engage with people like you because I've listened to your
- 28:29Speaker 4: podcast and I often say to myself, what is the
- 28:31Speaker 4: Scott Douglas experience like for this person?
- 28:34Speaker 2: A couple of years ago?
- 28:35Speaker 4: I never would have done that. But literally standing in
- 28:37Speaker 4: a room sometimes and go for some people I'm a level.
- 28:40Speaker 2: Out of and it's too much, And I literally have
- 28:43Speaker 2: a dial where in my brain I dial it down
- 28:45Speaker 2: a little.
- 28:45Speaker 4: Bit, because I can be like, I'm nathetic and I've
- 28:48Speaker 4: got a lot of stuff going on.
- 28:50Speaker 2: But then if you can.
- 28:52Speaker 4: Read the room, if you had the capacity to read
- 28:54Speaker 4: the room, and you just lighten it a little bit,
- 28:56Speaker 4: and for those people, it's enough, and that's lovely. If
- 28:59Speaker 4: you're able to do that.
- 29:02Speaker 3: How do you know which version of you you need
- 29:04Speaker 3: to be?
- 29:05Speaker 1: And when I say which version, I'm not talking about
- 29:07Speaker 1: any manufactured, disingenuous persona, but how you need to show up,
- 29:14Speaker 1: Like if you're at a university talking a bunch of
- 29:16Speaker 1: second year paramedic students, or you're talking to your kid,
- 29:21Speaker 1: or you're hanging out with Tip, or you're on the podcast,
- 29:24Speaker 1: Like is that just a natural switch or are you
- 29:27Speaker 1: conscious about how you are being perceived and experienced by
- 29:32Speaker 1: others in real time?
- 29:33Speaker 4: I reckon it's a combination of both, because obviously when
- 29:36Speaker 4: you wear a uniform, So for me, I'd put my
- 29:37Speaker 4: uniform and my tone of voice changes, you know, when
- 29:41Speaker 4: I'm teaching the same deal, Like I'd walk into the
- 29:44Speaker 4: auditorium and I'd start, and my tone of voice changes,
- 29:47Speaker 4: and I have a very different voice that I wouldn't
- 29:50Speaker 4: use necessarily when I'm for example, talking to my daughter.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Because that would fight.
- 29:56Speaker 4: And you sometimes have to turn it on, like you
- 29:58Speaker 4: have to maybe enter a sig suation and go, I'm
- 30:01Speaker 4: going to have to use my big voice here because
- 30:02Speaker 4: it's a lot. And then you become a persona that
- 30:07Speaker 4: people will look to, you know, and then they go, oh,
- 30:10Speaker 4: you know, and you might even later on apologies, Hey
- 30:12Speaker 4: guys back there, I'll probably said a few things. I
- 30:14Speaker 4: use a tone of voice. You needed that done, we
- 30:17Speaker 4: needed that done, and we needed someone to take over.
- 30:19Speaker 4: That's what you did. Thank you. So yeah, I think
- 30:22Speaker 4: if you're consciously aware of it, you can change it.
- 30:27Speaker 1: When you turn up to an accident and you're the guy,
- 30:30Speaker 1: you're the senior guy or the senior person, do you
- 30:37Speaker 1: is that a very would I because I've never met
- 30:39Speaker 1: that guy? Would I have a very different experience if
- 30:42Speaker 1: I was sitting on the fence five meters away just
- 30:45Speaker 1: watching you do your thing, saying all the time.
- 30:48Speaker 2: I don't know who the fuck you are when you
- 30:49Speaker 2: do that, and sometimes then sadly you bring that home, right.
- 30:53Speaker 3: So what would I see? What would I see?
- 30:56Speaker 4: My tone changes, my voice literally changes, and by the
- 31:00Speaker 4: way I stand and I want things done and I
- 31:03Speaker 4: will say it in a manner that for that for
- 31:06Speaker 4: the outside viewer, for one of a better word, it
- 31:09Speaker 4: might have been able experience. But I always say please,
- 31:12Speaker 4: and I always try in my students, I would say
- 31:15Speaker 4: whatever you say at a thing, because you say an
- 31:19Speaker 4: un nice thing, at least you're trying to be plot
- 31:22Speaker 4: about it. So, and when we teach that kind of
- 31:25Speaker 4: stuff to our students, we say to them, if you
- 31:27Speaker 4: can't hear a voice, be the voice. If you can't
- 31:29Speaker 4: hear thee in charge unfortunately, make to step in and
- 31:32Speaker 4: be in charge. So, yeah, I know who that person is.
- 31:36Speaker 4: I'm very happy that they're retired.
- 31:40Speaker 2: Oh really, yes, yeah.
- 31:43Speaker 1: And so when when you're teaching students, even now you
- 31:46Speaker 1: work with students, do you do you go, do you
- 31:50Speaker 1: just know instinctively who's probably going to be a great
- 31:54Speaker 1: paramedic or potentially a great paramedic, But also then as well,
- 31:59Speaker 1: maybe somebody else who is going to be a great leader,
- 32:01Speaker 1: were a great decision maker under pressure, or a great
- 32:04Speaker 1: problem solver.
- 32:05Speaker 4: Fantasy question because you know, they get to second or
- 32:08Speaker 4: third y and we start talking about those students, we
- 32:10Speaker 4: say that person is going to be amazing, And then
- 32:12Speaker 4: you track them and they end up maybe on the helicopter,
- 32:15Speaker 4: or they end up doing.
- 32:16Speaker 2: Something and you see them again and you say to them, well,
- 32:20Speaker 2: we knew you.
- 32:20Speaker 4: Would end up on the helicopter, or we knew you
- 32:22Speaker 4: would end up in that situation simply because of the
- 32:24Speaker 4: way you carried yourself at school.
- 32:27Speaker 1: Yes, And do you see some people who are academically
- 32:30Speaker 1: average but all the other stuff is exceptional and you
- 32:34Speaker 1: might choose that person first.
- 32:36Speaker 4: Yes, Yeah, because I can teach you about, for example,
- 32:40Speaker 4: asthma and the country indicators for drugs. I can't teach
- 32:44Speaker 4: you scene control, and I can't teach you empathy or
- 32:47Speaker 4: bedside manner and bedside manner. As far as I'm concerned,
- 32:50Speaker 4: is that that's the absolute crux of the issue. Like
- 32:53Speaker 4: you walk into someone's private house in their most private
- 32:57Speaker 4: moment and sometimes their most devastating moment, and you have
- 32:59Speaker 4: to instill a sense of confidence in them from the
- 33:03Speaker 4: very word go.
- 33:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I know, yeah, you're showing up in maybe the
- 33:08Speaker 1: worst moment of their entire life. And then what the
- 33:12Speaker 1: next five or ten or twenty minutes is going to
- 33:15Speaker 1: look like will be really largely determined by you.
- 33:19Speaker 4: Yes, And they will remember what you said. And once again,
- 33:22Speaker 4: that's what I always try to instill in more students.
- 33:24Speaker 4: I always say, think about what you're going to say,
- 33:26Speaker 4: because it is that they will remember it forever.
- 33:30Speaker 1: The thing that you kind of it's kind of a
- 33:32Speaker 1: social intelligence and social and situational awareness.
- 33:36Speaker 3: Right can it be? Can it be taught? Or is
- 33:39Speaker 3: it more in built?
- 33:42Speaker 4: I think that's a very hard question to answer, honestly,
- 33:44Speaker 4: great because I've seen kids who are amazing. I'll watch
- 33:47Speaker 4: them in simulation and I think, wow, the kids got
- 33:51Speaker 4: to know how they got it and haven't done it
- 33:52Speaker 4: for ten years. Like you can maybe pick personal early
- 33:55Speaker 4: traits where people may have it, but yeah, I will
- 33:58Speaker 4: seeing kids who just don't have it, maybe sadly and
- 34:01Speaker 4: unfortunately for them, maybe never able to run a big
- 34:04Speaker 4: scene because they just don't have it. Doesn't make them
- 34:07Speaker 4: a bad person, But on that particular occasion, you wouldn't
- 34:10Speaker 4: be choosing them to send them into a bus that's
- 34:13Speaker 4: on its roof, Like you'd just be like, no, no, no,
- 34:15Speaker 4: that's I don't do it coming in there.
- 34:17Speaker 2: I want you to be oble here.
- 34:19Speaker 1: But at the same time, I imagine not everybody wants
- 34:23Speaker 1: to be a leader some people might go, hey, I'm
- 34:25Speaker 1: happy to just rock up, do what I'm told do
- 34:28Speaker 1: my job, be a good paramedic. Scott tell me what
- 34:31Speaker 1: to do, where to be, and what not.
- 34:32Speaker 2: To do, and you can't.
- 34:34Speaker 4: It's like any situation, Like if you've got to any
- 34:38Speaker 4: in a kitchen, there's a head chef, the head chef
- 34:39Speaker 4: for the reason, and there's soo chefs and there's commie chefs.
- 34:41Speaker 2: That's how I see medicine exactly the same.
- 34:44Speaker 4: There's people that are amazing at a thing and if
- 34:46Speaker 4: you can find it and get them to do that
- 34:47Speaker 4: thing early, and there's people move traffic. There's people who
- 34:50Speaker 4: can console people, and if you have the privilege of
- 34:55Speaker 4: managing people like that, you can cherry pick and go.
- 34:57Speaker 4: I want Craig to do that. I want Tiff to
- 34:58Speaker 4: do that, because they're the roles that you've seen them
- 35:00Speaker 4: do very well.
- 35:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:02Speaker 1: Yeah, if you reckon in an alternate reality, you're probably
- 35:06Speaker 1: still not too old. But do you reckon, You could
- 35:09Speaker 1: be a paramedic if you you know, if you had
- 35:12Speaker 1: have done.
- 35:12Speaker 3: The training and and had that interest. Yes, yep, you're
- 35:18Speaker 3: okay with all the blood and guts and gore.
- 35:23Speaker 5: Yeah, I think Yeah, I think so, because you know,
- 35:26Speaker 5: when I think about fighting, which is obviously very different,
- 35:30Speaker 5: but the state you have to be in the state
- 35:32Speaker 5: of dissociation in order to perform yeah and deal with yeah,
- 35:37Speaker 5: and manage your manage your your state and your emotions
- 35:41Speaker 5: and your decision makings. Decision makings, decision making. Yeah, I
- 35:46Speaker 5: think so.
- 35:47Speaker 1: I reckon, you would have been not a bad maybe
- 35:50Speaker 1: great first responder, whether or not it was ambo cop.
- 35:54Speaker 1: I could see you being a cop. I was going
- 35:58Speaker 1: to say, Fiery, what do you do you reckon? She
- 36:01Speaker 1: would have been a good cop, mate.
- 36:03Speaker 4: I think she's Tiff is one of the bravest people
- 36:05Speaker 4: I know. That's why I'm attracted to her. She's so
- 36:09Speaker 4: the things that she does, the things that she's done
- 36:11Speaker 4: in the past, Like for me, I can't help it
- 36:16Speaker 4: when I spend time with her because I watch what
- 36:18Speaker 4: she does and it's amazing what he does. So I
- 36:20Speaker 4: think that absolutely should make an incredible fiery because you
- 36:24Speaker 4: have to have that tenacity of getting going again and
- 36:27Speaker 4: going again and going again, and you're exhausted and you've
- 36:29Speaker 4: got twenty six kilos of gear on your back.
- 36:31Speaker 2: And you have to walk up the stairs. No one's
- 36:33Speaker 2: going to do it for you.
- 36:34Speaker 4: And I just think tiff would be like, yeah, I
- 36:36Speaker 4: walk up the stairs for sure, I'll do it.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Twelve If you know, he's just made a thousand women
- 36:41Speaker 1: fall in love with him.
- 36:42Speaker 3: And I just did a bit of spew in my
- 36:43Speaker 3: own mouth. And it's only because I'm insecure and jealous Scott.
- 36:47Speaker 3: It's just I just now fucking I'm in love with you. Now.
- 36:51Speaker 3: I want to be more like Scott.
- 36:53Speaker 5: I didn't stand a chance.
- 36:55Speaker 1: No, no, he just fucking wound you. He's like Spider Man,
- 36:59Speaker 1: except his weber is emotional. He just shot it out
- 37:03Speaker 1: of his wrist and just fucking drew you in. Fucking Now,
- 37:07Speaker 1: you're stuck in the hive. You'll never get her house.
- 37:12Speaker 1: You got that sticky goo all over you. Hang on,
- 37:15Speaker 1: what are we talking about?
- 37:16Speaker 3: Now? What back the question? One? Stop Tiffany and cook Scott.
- 37:24Speaker 3: What's your middle name?
- 37:25Speaker 2: Anthony?
- 37:27Speaker 3: Got oh? Fuck Scott, Anthony. You know what.
- 37:31Speaker 1: We're not going to bang on forever, but we will
- 37:33Speaker 1: come back, you and I, Scott, and we'll do a
- 37:35Speaker 1: normal podcast soon when you've got you, When you're when
- 37:40Speaker 1: I don't throw you under the fucking metaphoric bus.
- 37:42Speaker 3: But Tiff, are you happy, yes, very happy. Scotty are
