- Sarahn Sankofa: Hello beautiful people. Today is September the 29th. And today's calendar challenge is spend at least 10 minutes outside. We are now into fall. If the weather is changing where you are. Embrace it, invite it in, and spend a little bit of time outside. Sometimes when the seasons change, it kind of throws us off a little bit. Or if you're one of those people that loves when the seasons change, you can't wait to throw on a hoodie or a hat or a scarf or just layer up and get in your bag. But we need to prioritize being one with nature, no matter what nature is bringing us. And that's what today's calendar challenge is really about. It's about being still in nature. It's about reflecting and meditating with the wind and the breeze and the sun and the trees around you, and just being grateful for life, being grateful for what nature offers us and what it reminds us about our joy. What nature reminds me about my joy is that it is my. Birthright. My favorite Bible verse, Isaiah 55:12, reads, You will go out in joy, be led forth in peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song before you, and all the trees of the field will clap their hands. And if that isn't a reminder, then nature is just waiting for you to be present in it, right? I love that verse because what it says to me is if you celebrate nature and life, nature and life will celebrate you. So today, spend a few minutes outside and remind yourself that joy is all around you. Just enough is more than enough, Saran says.
