- 0:55Speaker 1: Yeah, there's no rules in life. That's what I love
- 0:58Speaker 1: about it. But Yo, Chance Winn coming up. And you
- 1:00Speaker 1: know what's funny is I've never been to disney Land.
- 1:02Speaker 1: You haven't I've been to Disney World. I've never been
- 1:05Speaker 1: to disney Land.
- 1:06Speaker 7: Yeah, it's a lot easier to manage because it's only
- 1:08Speaker 7: two parks, right, and when you go in, you either
- 1:10Speaker 7: go left to Disneyland or right to California Adventure.
- 1:12Speaker 3: It's like a little bit easier to handle.
- 1:14Speaker 1: Well, because you used to work for Disney and you
- 1:16Speaker 1: worked literally at Disneyland.
- 1:17Speaker 3: Yeah all the time.
- 1:18Speaker 6: That's cool.
- 1:19Speaker 1: So I chanced to win it coming up like next
- 1:21Speaker 1: so get ready for that, Candice, what's going on?
- 1:23Speaker 6: How was your weekend?
- 1:24Speaker 3: It was good. It was busy. We started off Friday.
- 1:27Speaker 7: You know, we went to the Rangers game, and did
- 1:28Speaker 7: you guys get the radio that they were giving out
- 1:31Speaker 7: at the Globalife Field?
- 1:32Speaker 3: Did y'all get the radio?
- 1:33Speaker 1: The free radio?
- 1:35Speaker 3: Maybe you were too late? Did you guys kind of
- 1:37Speaker 3: showed up late?
- 1:37Speaker 1: So like we showed up when the game started, well
- 1:40Speaker 1: to get.
- 1:41Speaker 3: The free radio, you probably missed out, like I don't know.
- 1:44Speaker 6: You also got there at four o'clock.
- 1:46Speaker 7: Well that's because we got to go to take Enzo
- 1:47Speaker 7: to batting practice, which was starting.
- 1:49Speaker 3: At like four fifteen.
- 1:50Speaker 7: Oh okay, yeah, shout out to the Rangers though, and
- 1:53Speaker 7: Bailey and gallion for letting Enzo go down on the
- 1:56Speaker 7: field for batting practice. You got to meet a bunch
- 1:59Speaker 7: of the players. He like, actually got a ball. Skip
- 2:02Speaker 7: Schumacher was throwing balls to the kids that were watching,
- 2:05Speaker 7: and so he got one and got it signed by
- 2:07Speaker 7: Wyatt Langford and a couple other players. But yeah, they
- 2:10Speaker 7: were given away a chalk toss stadium radio, like a
- 2:12Speaker 7: literal radio.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Not like high tech device.
- 2:16Speaker 7: We pluged it in his playroom yesterday and he had
- 2:18Speaker 7: a blast with this thing. He had never understood that
- 2:21Speaker 7: you could, like, I don't even know how to describe it, like.
- 2:24Speaker 3: Tune the radio. Scan, yes, scan, but like with a
- 2:27Speaker 3: little round piece. What's it called the fact planning trivia game?
- 2:31Speaker 4: The little dial.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a dial.
- 2:32Speaker 6: But you can't do that.
- 2:33Speaker 1: You have to put on one O two point nine
- 2:35Speaker 1: and leave it.
- 2:35Speaker 3: Well, he was trying to find it, right, So he
- 2:38Speaker 3: was scanning and I would hear a song and.
- 2:40Speaker 7: I would tell him, no, that's that station, No, that's
- 2:43Speaker 7: that station, Go the other way, go the other way, and.
- 2:45Speaker 3: We played like this game. He has not turned that
- 2:47Speaker 3: radio off. He loves it.
- 2:48Speaker 6: How old did you feel when he was doing that? Oh?
- 2:50Speaker 3: So old?
- 2:51Speaker 6: Right, Wow, I have to teach this kid how to
- 2:53Speaker 6: use a dial.
- 2:55Speaker 7: But don't you remember getting your first radio in your
- 2:57Speaker 7: room and how like independent you felt.
- 3:00Speaker 1: I had a boombox and I used to record the
- 3:03Speaker 1: DJ that I used to listen to growing up. I
- 3:05Speaker 1: would record what he said, then I would write it
- 3:08Speaker 1: down and I would practice saying the same thing.
- 3:10Speaker 3: It's amazing.
- 3:11Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I still do that. I listen to other
- 3:13Speaker 1: DJs and I write down what.
- 3:15Speaker 7: They But it was just like so much joy of
- 3:19Speaker 7: seeing a kid with their actual radio and control of it.
- 3:22Speaker 6: Good.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that was fun. So thank you to Bailey and
- 3:24Speaker 1: Gallion because that was just a good time.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Of the game.
- 3:26Speaker 3: It was it was fun, it was cool.
- 3:28Speaker 6: Yeah, they won.
- 3:28Speaker 1: It was a good game, and it was awesome to
- 3:30Speaker 1: see all our kids together. It was we don't get
- 3:33Speaker 1: that enough.
- 3:34Speaker 3: No, we need to do more of it.
- 3:35Speaker 1: And sometimes it's weird because like we've known each other
- 3:37Speaker 1: since we were pretty much kids. Yeah, so the fact
- 3:40Speaker 1: that we're working together and now our kids are friends, right,
- 3:43Speaker 1: it's just strange.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Yeah, Andzo loves being around y'all's boys. They are so
- 3:47Speaker 3: good with him. They treat him like a little brother.
- 3:49Speaker 3: It's adorable.
- 3:50Speaker 6: Oh they love him. They were all good. We had
- 3:52Speaker 6: a good time. Producer pool. What you well.
- 3:54Speaker 4: I was on an episode of Stupid Games and Stupid
- 3:57Speaker 4: Prizes yesterday, so we got a fan every day. We
- 4:00Speaker 4: got a family friend. They have a pool or whatever,
- 4:02Speaker 4: and they told my son Paul, hey, if he goes
- 4:05Speaker 4: by there, they'll give him a little money while they're
- 4:07Speaker 4: out of town. You know, go put in some chlorine taps.
- 4:10Speaker 4: Little why simple jobs. Yeah, So I went with them.
- 4:13Speaker 6: Kept me a big job.
- 4:15Speaker 4: No, I just put it in a little little thing
- 4:18Speaker 4: plopping anyway. So I went by there with them, and
- 4:22Speaker 4: where they store all the shock and the chlorine, there's
- 4:24Speaker 4: a little shed or whatever. So I opened it up
- 4:27Speaker 4: and I was like, oh, big, big old wasp nest.
- 4:30Speaker 4: And I was in Paul's laughing. I was like, Okay,
- 4:32Speaker 4: I got this. So we go to tom Thumb and
- 4:35Speaker 4: I buy a little fogger whine because I was like,
- 4:39Speaker 4: y'all ain't gonna get me, y'all ain't gonna scare me.
- 4:42Speaker 1: So I put the little houses.
- 4:43Speaker 4: This family friend, it's my dad and mom's family friend.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So many family friends and like people that I've never
- 4:51Speaker 1: heard of, and I've known for thirty years.
- 4:53Speaker 4: So I throw a little a fumigator in there, close
- 4:57Speaker 4: the door, and Paul's over the other end by the gate,
- 5:00Speaker 4: and I'm sitting up there. I was like, they'll be
- 5:01Speaker 4: dead in a minute. Little did I know in the
- 5:03Speaker 4: back there's a slit. I could just go out now.
- 5:06Speaker 4: So as soon as I did it, already pool with
- 5:12Speaker 4: my clothes on, trying to avoid getting stuck. Like my
- 5:16Speaker 4: son was dying.
- 5:17Speaker 1: He went in the pool.
- 5:18Speaker 4: Yeah, I jumped, yeah, because I didn't want to get
- 5:20Speaker 4: bit or stunks.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Rather the phone on you no.
- 5:25Speaker 4: No, no, where was your phone sitting on the little
- 5:29Speaker 4: table outside.
- 5:31Speaker 3: I would have just ran inside.
- 5:34Speaker 6: Yeah we're somewhere else, listen.
- 5:36Speaker 4: I didn't want to get stung. And I was like uh.
- 5:39Speaker 4: And we just laughed at about it the rest of yesterday.
- 5:41Speaker 4: But I was just like, man, I shouldn't have did that.
- 5:43Speaker 4: Why mess with They were minding their own business. Bill
- 5:46Speaker 4: and I would give the home owner our heads up.
- 5:48Speaker 4: You got a wash tying to be a hero there.
- 5:51Speaker 6: You were trying to be that.
- 5:52Speaker 4: I told him. I told him and he was like, oh, yeah,
- 5:54Speaker 4: it's been there.
- 5:55Speaker 1: We just it's been there.
- 5:58Speaker 4: Were just going about.
- 5:59Speaker 6: The pool Wow, how do they get their pool stuff?
- 6:02Speaker 6: If they're stuff, I don't know.
- 6:04Speaker 3: That's brave, brave. They probably swim well at night.
- 6:08Speaker 1: I think a battle with wasp pretty much for the
- 6:11Speaker 1: last like three weeks in my house.
- 6:12Speaker 6: Sure, because they come drink water in my pool, which
- 6:15Speaker 6: is yeah, what do you think? Yeah, the wasp they
- 6:20Speaker 6: come down and get a drink.
- 6:23Speaker 1: Oh my god, I didn't. I love that, you guys
- 6:26Speaker 1: that I'm lying about this.
- 6:27Speaker 6: They drink. Well, whatever they're doing, they're coming down in
- 6:30Speaker 6: my pool.
- 6:31Speaker 3: No, they're not swimming.
- 6:33Speaker 6: They come on the top of the water.
- 6:35Speaker 1: Yeah, they land and then they take off, have a
- 6:40Speaker 1: couple of shots, just like the birds.
- 6:42Speaker 6: Do birds do the same.
- 6:43Speaker 4: Thing about Yeah.
- 6:46Speaker 1: I mean they don't know there's chlorine in it. So yeah,
- 6:49Speaker 1: well they're drinking either way.
- 6:50Speaker 6: They're fine. I drink it. It's fine. So yeah.
- 6:53Speaker 1: So I'm like, okay, cool, and we don't have a problem.
- 6:56Speaker 1: You come sip on my pool water until they start
- 7:00Speaker 1: buzzing around my head. Yeah, and I'm like, okay, we
- 7:03Speaker 1: got a problem. Well, one would not leave me alone,
- 7:04Speaker 1: so I kind of shoot him off. Yeah, and then
- 7:07Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, all right, he's not leave me alone,
- 7:10Speaker 1: it comes back at me. So I throw a basketball
- 7:13Speaker 1: at him, which basically just moved him in the air,
- 7:18Speaker 1: and then he got and then he came right back
- 7:21Speaker 1: at my head.
- 7:24Speaker 6: So then I had a piece of tupperware like lid.
- 7:28Speaker 1: Or what yes, why those lids come in handy if
- 7:32Speaker 1: you want to know the truth. Wise, because I was
- 7:33Speaker 1: eating watermelon next in the pool, okay, because why not?
- 7:39Speaker 4: Sure of course this summer.
- 7:40Speaker 1: So then I smacked him so hard with the tupperware lid. Yeah,
- 7:45Speaker 1: and he fell in and then I couldn't find him.
- 7:48Speaker 1: So then I was scared to walk in the bottom
- 7:49Speaker 1: of the pool. So needless to say, yeah, wow, the
- 7:55Speaker 1: watermelon was soggy after that, because there's a bunch of water.
- 7:58Speaker 5: It's top stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid
- 8:03Speaker 5: in the Morning only.
- 8:05Speaker 8: On the new Mix one two.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Point nine Summerwen tripped to Disneyland coming up next. If
- 8:11Speaker 1: you want to get ready your shot, Canda Slowpez, what's up?
- 8:14Speaker 8: Well?
- 8:14Speaker 7: The owners of that Oak Cliff apartment complex that was
- 8:16Speaker 7: destroyed in that deadly explosion from May are suing Atmos Energy.
- 8:20Speaker 7: They say the company failed to maintain gas lines properly
- 8:23Speaker 7: and were slow to shut off the gas there After
- 8:26Speaker 7: that first leak was reported, a crew testing soil there hit.
- 8:30Speaker 3: The unmarked gas line that prompted.
- 8:32Speaker 7: The explosion, but that investigation is expected to take more
- 8:35Speaker 7: than a year. Guys, police are searching for two men
- 8:38Speaker 7: who parachuted off the Space Needle in Seattle.
- 8:41Speaker 3: Did you guys see this?
- 8:42Speaker 1: They climbed the wall and just geeted themselves off.
- 8:46Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 7: So police say they actually bought tickets, entered the space
- 8:49Speaker 7: Needle like you know everyone else would, and then they
- 8:52Speaker 7: were seen sprinting to the observation that climbing over that
- 8:55Speaker 7: barrier like you mentioned, and then backflipping and doing a
- 8:59Speaker 7: just parachuting down.
- 9:00Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 1: This is the problem when people get famous for doing
- 9:03Speaker 1: stupid stuff is then other people were like, I want
- 9:05Speaker 1: to do some though, right, and then they do it,
- 9:06Speaker 1: and I know they're probably professionals or whatever, right, but
- 9:10Speaker 1: it's all stems I bet you from the skyscraper people.
- 9:13Speaker 7: Yeah, from the Yeah, the thing that happened a couple
- 9:16Speaker 7: of weeks ago. Yeah, this jump was like six hundred
- 9:18Speaker 7: and five feet in the air. One person said, you know,
- 9:21Speaker 7: we were scared at first when they ran out and
- 9:24Speaker 7: just you know, were attempting to do this, and they
- 9:26Speaker 7: did the you know, the video went viral, had nearly
- 9:29Speaker 7: five hundred or five million views within the first twenty
- 9:31Speaker 7: four hours.
- 9:33Speaker 3: They still have it located the two.
- 9:35Speaker 7: Guys, but they are facing first degree at criminal trespassing charges.
- 9:39Speaker 6: I don't know if you could see their faces real well,
- 9:40Speaker 6: could you?
- 9:41Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 9:41Speaker 1: I couldn't know, okay, but they had outfits on, so
- 9:44Speaker 1: when they were climbing the wall, I felt like I
- 9:46Speaker 1: wouldn't have been scared because they obviously had parachutes on, right,
- 9:50Speaker 1: it looked like it at least, and nobody was that
- 9:52Speaker 1: scared because everybody did one thing.
- 9:53Speaker 6: What did they do? They whip out their phone?
- 9:55Speaker 3: I mean, but they were I.
- 9:56Speaker 7: Mean I would have been filming already anyway, just because
- 9:58Speaker 7: the view is so good. But like it's probably really
- 10:00Speaker 7: serene up there, you know, you're just like taking in
- 10:02Speaker 7: the view.
- 10:03Speaker 3: You wouldn't go to the top, No, oh, I probably would.
- 10:06Speaker 3: I want to get too close to the.
- 10:07Speaker 1: Side, though, I don't know.
- 10:09Speaker 6: I'm not a big fan of heights.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Yeah, no, me neither.
- 10:11Speaker 1: I mean I guess I would, but I don't know, Like,
- 10:14Speaker 1: you know, how there's in Japan. I think it is
- 10:16Speaker 1: or China one of those places there's that huge bridge
- 10:18Speaker 1: of a ravine, Yeah, a canyon and it's glass bot No,
- 10:22Speaker 1: I can do that. Or that building in Chicago where
- 10:24Speaker 1: there's a glass floor, yeah, and you can go out
- 10:26Speaker 1: on the edge. I'm like, what, I'm cool on that?
- 10:28Speaker 3: Yeah, definitely not for me, guys.
- 10:30Speaker 7: Marvel made a big surprise announcement at Comic Con over
- 10:33Speaker 7: the weekend. Ryan Gosling is joining the Marvel universe as
- 10:37Speaker 7: the character a ghost Rider. So this will be a
- 10:40Speaker 7: new standalone of film scheduled for release sometime.
- 10:43Speaker 3: In twenty twenty eight.
- 10:45Speaker 7: But this made me so happy for those fans who
- 10:47Speaker 7: got to see this in person. They said people were
- 10:49Speaker 7: camped out for over thirty hours to get a spot
- 10:52Speaker 7: inside the convention Center hall where this panel was happening.
- 10:56Speaker 7: I guess Nicholas Cage played at ghost Rider and Films before,
- 11:01Speaker 7: but Ryan says, you know, this is a character he's
- 11:03Speaker 7: wanted to play for a long time. I guess this
- 11:05Speaker 7: ghost Rider. He rides a motorcycle and one of his
- 11:08Speaker 7: superpowers is that when he makes eye contact with the
- 11:10Speaker 7: bad guys, they basically feel the pain and suffering they've caused.
- 11:14Speaker 7: You know innocent people. Yeah, so interesting character. I'm surprised
- 11:18Speaker 7: it took this long to make a film around it.
- 11:20Speaker 7: But Ryan Gosling perfect choice, do you think?
- 11:22Speaker 1: So?
- 11:23Speaker 4: Yeah, he's gonna be good.
- 11:24Speaker 1: I thought who would have been the perfect choice?
- 11:29Speaker 3: Who was a marvel?
- 11:31Speaker 6: Who're trying to make eye contact?
- 11:33Speaker 4: What would be my super power?
- 11:35Speaker 6: I don't know what?
- 11:37Speaker 4: Beat you out of house and home?
- 11:39Speaker 3: Watch out, guys coming to the eight?
- 11:42Speaker 6: Who the superhero?
- 11:44Speaker 1: Yes?
- 11:45Speaker 6: Yes? What would his outfit did?
- 11:47Speaker 3: Some tight?
- 11:48Speaker 6: Yeah? Definitely some time.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 11:51Speaker 1: I think what he was wearing Friday Thursday skirts? A
- 11:55Speaker 1: fishnet stocking?
- 11:56Speaker 3: Oh, lor not a motorcycle. It's a scooter.
- 11:59Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I like it.
- 12:01Speaker 8: I like it.
- 12:02Speaker 3: I'm Canna Slopez. Those are your Texas top stories.
- 12:05Speaker 6: All right, let's do it.

- 13:18Speaker 1: got to pick out the fake one. That's how it works.
- 13:20Speaker 1: Three headlines, one of them's fake. Texas HOA sends out
- 13:25Speaker 1: warning letter to man mowing his yard with his shirt off.
- 13:30Speaker 1: Texas ha sends out warning to love man who's mowing
- 13:34Speaker 1: the yard with his shirt off. Headline number one. Headline
- 13:37Speaker 1: number two, Carnival Cruz responds to viral video of woman

- 14:12Speaker 6: Three headlines.
- 14:13Speaker 1: You gotta tell me which one you think is fake? Candice,
- 14:16Speaker 1: you want to go first, you want to pass it

- 14:19Speaker 3: This one's hard today. I'm gonna go first.
- 14:21Speaker 7: Just lock me in for that last story, The morning Margarita.
- 14:24Speaker 6: You don't think Morgan, Morning Margarita is a thing.
- 14:26Speaker 7: I mean, it is a thing, But breaking into someone's
- 14:29Speaker 7: house for it what you want?
- 14:30Speaker 1: I would break into someone's house right now, for a
- 14:32Speaker 1: margaarmeda sounds so good. A Monday mark that should be necessary.
- 14:37Speaker 1: You should be able to drink margaritas on Mondays.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean it?
- 14:40Speaker 1: Oh at work, all right, let's lock that in.
- 14:44Speaker 7: Unless you're like a surgeon, yeah, or you work at
- 14:47Speaker 7: six thirty in the morning.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Whatever, cand is, you're such a party pooper, all right, producer, pooh,
- 14:55Speaker 1: which one do you think is the fake story?
- 14:57Speaker 4: Lock me in for that first story. I don't think
- 14:59Speaker 4: the age away be tripping like that. What's wrong with
- 15:02Speaker 4: having your shirt off?
- 15:02Speaker 6: They do trip?
- 15:03Speaker 4: I know they trip.
- 15:04Speaker 1: Those h's are known to trip. All right, let's lock
- 15:09Speaker 1: that in. Locked in. The winner today is producer who's
- 15:22Speaker 1: starting off the week with a win. This is gonna
- 15:26Speaker 1: be a weird week when that happens. All right, Yes,
- 15:30Speaker 1: that is the fake story. But a lot of neighbors.
- 15:32Speaker 1: I think a lot of my neighbors mow their yard
- 15:34Speaker 1: with their shirts off. Yeah. I noticed that the other
- 15:37Speaker 1: day and I was like, yeah, that won't be me.
- 15:39Speaker 1: I mean, first of all, I don't know how to moment,
- 15:41Speaker 1: I mean, I know how to mow my yard, but
- 15:43Speaker 1: I don't I know how to mow it. Does Eric
- 15:46Speaker 1: mo Is of course he does.
- 15:47Speaker 3: He's lawn daddy. He real knows the front and rides
- 15:50Speaker 3: the back.
- 15:51Speaker 6: With his shirt off.
- 15:52Speaker 3: No, not with his shirt off.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Oh he does, maybe at.
- 15:55Speaker 7: The start of the summer, just to get a based
- 15:56Speaker 7: hand one day.
- 15:57Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, no, I know, of course I know. He
- 16:00Speaker 1: he doesn't let any other man touch his lawn.
- 16:02Speaker 6: Oh, yeah I do.
- 16:05Speaker 1: I'm not a real man, Okay, the real stories. Wow,
- 16:11Speaker 1: this story right here, I gotta be careful how I
- 16:14Speaker 1: talk about it, because it's just if you've seen the video,
- 16:16Speaker 1: I'm not even gonna repost the video because it's so disgusting. Really,
- 16:20Speaker 1: a viral video shows a woman on a carnival cruise
- 16:23Speaker 1: scratching her foot, which is obviously having some issues.
- 16:26Speaker 6: I don't want to say the word that they use.
- 16:30Speaker 1: Okay, fungus, that's not that bad.
- 16:33Speaker 6: With a fork.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Wow, this is a story. I don't know if you've
- 16:37Speaker 1: seen the video, but she's at a table in like
- 16:40Speaker 1: the cafeteria. I've never been on a carnival cruise, but
- 16:44Speaker 1: I'm assuming there's a place where you eat, Yeah, like
- 16:46Speaker 1: a like a dining hall. She's in one of the
- 16:48Speaker 1: dining halls and she is sitting there scratching her foot.
- 16:55Speaker 6: With a fork.
- 16:57Speaker 1: There's I'm not going to get into detail it there
- 17:00Speaker 1: doesn't need to be detailed. All I know is when
- 17:03Speaker 1: she's done, she then she uses her hand for a
- 17:05Speaker 1: little bit and she's getting in there, she's like stuff
- 17:12Speaker 1: is falling off, and then she goes right back to
- 17:16Speaker 1: eating her pizza. No, Candice, I'm not kidding. With that
- 17:21Speaker 1: same fork with the same not with the fork with
- 17:23Speaker 1: the same hand that she just dug it out and
- 17:26Speaker 1: she put the fork on the table. Yeah, so dude, yep,
- 17:35Speaker 1: twenty eight million views. Basically, Carnival Cruz said, we can
- 17:39Speaker 1: confirm that forks are intended for food, not foot care,
- 17:42Speaker 1: and once we became aware of the situation, our team
- 17:44Speaker 1: quickly addressed it with the guest and removed the utensil
- 17:47Speaker 1: from service.
- 17:51Speaker 4: Yeah, they need to remove her.
- 17:54Speaker 1: I'm sorry, but there's certain people that shouldn't be allowed
- 17:56Speaker 1: in public. Yes, this is one of them. You cannot, ma'am.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I'm sorry. I hate to tell you this, but in public,
- 18:03Speaker 1: when you're eating, you cannot just go in on your
- 18:05Speaker 1: foot and then just go back to eating like it's
- 18:08Speaker 1: no big deal, like you at home. And this was
- 18:10Speaker 1: going on for a while to the point, I mean
- 18:12Speaker 1: obviously long enough to where somebody grabbed their phone and
- 18:15Speaker 1: was like, look at this woman, look at her.
- 18:21Speaker 6: I'm gonna show you the video.
- 18:23Speaker 7: Candis I mean, is to publicly shame people like that?
- 18:26Speaker 3: At what point is it? Is it okay? Because this
- 18:28Speaker 3: feels okay.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I feel like you can't even really see her face,
- 18:31Speaker 1: but you're right, it does. I can't remember the video
- 18:34Speaker 1: if you could see your face because I wasn't looking
- 18:35Speaker 1: at it. But I think they were courteous enough to
- 18:38Speaker 1: try to keep that out of it. But at the
- 18:40Speaker 1: same time, I think some public humiliation.
- 18:42Speaker 6: Is probably good.
- 18:43Speaker 3: You need to be outed for that.
- 18:44Speaker 6: At some point.
- 18:45Speaker 1: You got to out your foot issues. You shouldn't even
- 18:49Speaker 1: be allowed in a I mean obviously, if you have
- 18:51Speaker 1: that going on in your feet, right, you shouldn't even
- 18:54Speaker 1: be allowed. That's a health Yeah, that's a health hazard.
- 19:00Speaker 3: Always wear flip flops, guys, all right.
- 19:02Speaker 1: A man broke into a woman's home at six thirty
- 19:05Speaker 1: am to make a Margarita. Thirty year old man from where, Florida.
- 19:11Speaker 1: His name is Jeffrey's been arrested after breaking into this
- 19:14Speaker 1: woman's home. The woman woke up to hear her dog's barking,
- 19:19Speaker 1: so the other woman's dogs are barking to she grabbed
- 19:22Speaker 1: a firearm. She walked downstairs. That's when she saw Jeffrey
- 19:26Speaker 1: in her kitchen and enjoined some kind of makeshift margarita.
- 19:30Speaker 1: He apologized, He said, oh sorry, he ran out jumped
- 19:35Speaker 1: over her back fence. Turns out he lives down the street,
- 19:37Speaker 1: but it's unclear why he broke in, other than he
- 19:40Speaker 1: was just looking a party. Jeffrey brought a six pack
- 19:45Speaker 1: of beer with him, helped himself into the woman's vodka
- 19:49Speaker 1: and tequila. He also cut a lime in her kitchen.
- 19:53Speaker 9: Wow.
- 19:54Speaker 1: When the police caught up with him at his home,
- 19:56Speaker 1: he claimed he had been sleeping all morning. He had
- 20:00Speaker 1: never left the house, although his although his breath reeked
- 20:04Speaker 1: of tequila. I love it. I kind of want to
- 20:09Speaker 1: party with Jeffrey. I'm not gonna lie down for a
- 20:13Speaker 1: six am margarita. Just just keep it in.
- 20:16Speaker 6: Your own house, Jeffrey.
- 20:17Speaker 1: I can't believe I have to say that this Monday,
- 20:20Speaker 1: and yes we are kicking it off this week summer ween.
- 20:23Speaker 1: I'm excited about It's makes one or two point nine
- 20:25Speaker 1: a chance to go to Disneyland on us. I'm talking hotel, airfare, everything.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I mean, this is an amazing trip, so so many
- 20:31Speaker 1: chances to win. We'll do it ten after the hour,
- 20:33Speaker 1: pretty much all day long. So another shot coming up
- 20:35Speaker 1: at like seven ten.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Never been to Disneyland and Halloween there is so fun.
- 20:39Speaker 6: Yeah, that's what I've heard. I've heard it's such a
- 20:41Speaker 6: good time.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Okay, Now, can we play a little game because I
- 20:44Speaker 1: think it's important in Cannis. Well, it's your favorite game
- 20:46Speaker 1: that I play. Oh my gosh, the what if game?
- 20:49Speaker 1: I no, Why does Cannas and I play this off
- 20:53Speaker 1: their way more than on the Yeah.
- 20:55Speaker 4: Yeah, people don't realize that.
- 20:57Speaker 6: I don't care why you hate it so much.
- 20:58Speaker 3: Again, it doesn't. It never wins or loses.
- 21:01Speaker 4: Is just what if?
- 21:02Speaker 6: Yeah if?
- 21:03Speaker 3: And you just take it to the next level and
- 21:04Speaker 3: the next.
- 21:05Speaker 6: Level or another game I play? Would you?
- 21:07Speaker 4: Yeah? When we answered, it's never a correct answer. It's
- 21:11Speaker 4: like we'll just hear me out. I want to play
- 21:15Speaker 4: this because this is an actual story. They can if
- 21:17Speaker 4: what Okay, No, now, if there was what if? Here
- 21:21Speaker 4: we go there was a zombie apocalypse.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Louisville. Again, does this have something to do with the.
- 21:28Speaker 1: Lake, no can no calm down, And that wasn't There
- 21:32Speaker 1: was never a story about Lake Louisville and a zombie,
- 21:34Speaker 1: a pocagt.
- 21:35Speaker 6: That was my plan to escape.
- 21:37Speaker 1: Y'all's plan sucked, how well, first of all because Po
- 21:41Speaker 1: said he was going to scale Reunion Tower. Yeah, you
- 21:44Speaker 1: can't even scale a ladder.
- 21:46Speaker 4: I gonna go up the steps and just Bill be
- 21:48Speaker 4: afore and just stay up Tom.
- 21:49Speaker 1: It's everything, everything's locked. You can't get into buildings. That
- 21:54Speaker 1: was my point.
- 21:56Speaker 4: I can't blow a door open. And just for what,
- 22:00Speaker 4: I don't dynamite or something.
- 22:02Speaker 1: You don't have that. Where are you gonna get dynamite
- 22:04Speaker 1: right now?
- 22:05Speaker 4: I mean, haven't you ever watched any kind of scary
- 22:08Speaker 4: zombie movies? Okay, see what I'm saying, police stations, I'll
- 22:10Speaker 4: break into it. Mine wants to go to Goat Island
- 22:12Speaker 4: onlike Louisville here.
- 22:14Speaker 3: That's right.
- 22:14Speaker 6: Your plan was shaky to.
- 22:20Speaker 1: Everything.
- 22:21Speaker 4: When the aliens come, they could never mind you.
- 22:23Speaker 3: Have cookies or donuts. Everybody's your friend.
- 22:26Speaker 1: Your plan is not the worst, all right. So they
- 22:30Speaker 1: asked everyone. And when I say everyone, like two thousand people.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I don't know who did this poll, but I love it.
- 22:36Speaker 1: If you were entering a zombie apocalypse, who would you
- 22:39Speaker 1: want as your companion for the entire journey?
- 22:42Speaker 3: Okay?
- 22:43Speaker 1: Meaning what kind of occupation would you want them to have? Like,
- 22:47Speaker 1: would you get a you know, a doctor, would you
- 22:50Speaker 1: get a I don't know, someone who.
- 22:52Speaker 6: Works at dig Sporting Goods across.
- 22:54Speaker 3: The street going into a zombia podcast?
- 22:57Speaker 6: Yes, who would you want?
- 22:59Speaker 1: And six specific occupations came out on top? Okay, okay,
- 23:05Speaker 1: all right, who's yours?
- 23:07Speaker 3: Yeah, a pilot. We're gonna get up out of here.
- 23:09Speaker 1: Funny you say that pilot was number six on the list.
- 23:12Speaker 6: Okay, yes, which you know.
- 23:14Speaker 1: I love a good list and on top of a
- 23:16Speaker 1: zombie apocalypse is like the ultimate combination thing. Yes, pilot
- 23:20Speaker 1: was number six. Wow, okay, what about you, producer.
- 23:25Speaker 4: I'm gonna need like a Navy seal special ops type
- 23:27Speaker 4: dude because they can I get hurt, they could doctor
- 23:31Speaker 4: help me doctor myself up.
- 23:33Speaker 5: You know.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Yeah, see something like that. That's not bad at all.
- 23:37Speaker 1: It's kind of a similar thing I would want. I
- 23:39Speaker 1: would want like a Bear Grills survivalist exactly.
- 23:43Speaker 6: That's who I would want. That was not on the list.
- 23:46Speaker 7: It's just a normal occupation. Tell me one survivalist, you know, right,
- 23:51Speaker 7: I don't Yeah.
- 23:52Speaker 4: Bear grills, I don't know personally, right, Yeah, but he'd
- 23:55Speaker 4: be like, eat this cricket.
- 23:56Speaker 1: Yeah, it's protein something, but there's weird. There's a lot
- 24:00Speaker 1: more to it than just eating. See who's naturally thinking
- 24:02Speaker 1: about it? Okay when I'm stressed. Number six on the
- 24:06Speaker 1: list was pilot. Number five in the list was m
- 24:09Speaker 1: M a fighter.
- 24:11Speaker 3: What just those zombies?
- 24:15Speaker 4: As soon as a zombie bite you, you you're not
- 24:17Speaker 4: thinking about the others.
- 24:18Speaker 1: It's not just about the zombies. You're also fighting other
- 24:22Speaker 1: people for resources who aren't zombies, because everyone's gonna come
- 24:25Speaker 1: after neighbors. Yeah, you're fighting. I'm fighting you like I'm
- 24:29Speaker 1: fighting everyone.
- 24:30Speaker 7: No, I'm already on the plane.
- 24:34Speaker 6: Number four was a ship captain.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Oh I love that idea.
- 24:40Speaker 6: That's kind of like my idea.
- 24:41Speaker 3: Where's the ship?
- 24:42Speaker 10: Though?
- 24:43Speaker 3: You're going to drive to Galveston and then you get
- 24:45Speaker 3: on the ship.
- 24:46Speaker 1: Possibly great plan, better than baking cookies.
- 24:53Speaker 6: Number three was ex police officer.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Just overall skills, weapons, probably has some survival skills.
- 25:00Speaker 3: And bads and handcuffs.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Number two was surprising was an engineer. Okay, what I
- 25:07Speaker 1: don't know.
- 25:07Speaker 3: I mean, they're smart, they're smart, but what they're gonna do?
- 25:10Speaker 3: What are they going to engineer?
- 25:12Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 25:13Speaker 1: To keep either way? Number one on the list. What
- 25:17Speaker 1: do you think was number one? As far as who
- 25:19Speaker 1: would you would want with you during a zombie apocalypse?
- 25:23Speaker 3: A construction worker?
- 25:24Speaker 1: No, no, well they.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Got tools and stuff. Yeah.
- 25:29Speaker 1: I don't think that's a bad idea, but I don't
- 25:34Speaker 1: know why Poo's laughing. Do you think skills A truck driver? No?
- 25:39Speaker 6: A doctor? A doctor?
- 25:41Speaker 1: Okay, a doctor?
- 25:43Speaker 6: Number one?
- 25:43Speaker 1: They would want them on their team during the zombie apocalypse,
- 25:47Speaker 1: which I get in case you get sick or hurt,
- 25:49Speaker 1: you would want that on your.
- 25:50Speaker 6: Share, wouldn't you.
- 25:51Speaker 7: I guess I just wasn't thinking a team. I thought
- 25:53Speaker 7: it was just like, you're you're my person.
- 25:54Speaker 6: To know what if?
- 25:56Speaker 1: Yeah, here we go, it's only us canice? Who are
- 25:59Speaker 1: you picking to be on you your team? Pooh oh?
- 26:01Speaker 3: You definitely.
- 26:04Speaker 1: Yeah, thank you? Sorry, I bet you were going to.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I thought you're gonna try to be nice, to be like,
- 26:11Speaker 1: well it's gonna be tough.
- 26:13Speaker 4: No, you're immediately just straight out no sympathy, no nothing,
- 26:19Speaker 4: sorry about your bad luck.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Poy Do not want poo on your team.
- 26:25Speaker 7: I would on my team, but you you just said,
- 26:27Speaker 7: like rephrase the question.
- 26:28Speaker 6: You know you just picked me over him.
- 26:31Speaker 3: Yeah, well for surviving, Okay.
- 26:33Speaker 6: I like your style and I appreciate it.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Sourceful. I'm not saying he's.
- 26:37Speaker 1: Not okay, who would you pick on your team?
- 26:41Speaker 4: I gotta get you, dude, He's not going to pick me.
- 26:44Speaker 3: What am I going to do?
- 26:45Speaker 6: Kid is just going ba candas.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I'm picking you? Why because simple reason?
- 26:52Speaker 4: Because he's a hater.
- 26:54Speaker 1: Not a hater. You're faster, okay, and you eat less?
- 26:59Speaker 3: Oh okay, small and scrappy.
- 27:01Speaker 6: How many crickets would I need?
- 27:07Speaker 5: Tess Tough stories on the Tents with Billy's the Kid
- 27:10Speaker 5: in the Morning.
- 27:11Speaker 8: Only on the new Mix one O two point nine.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Also got Dirty Little Secret at seven thirty. Got a
- 27:16Speaker 1: lot going on, Cannice.
- 27:17Speaker 6: What's up?
- 27:17Speaker 7: Yeah, well, we are back into triple digits this week
- 27:19Speaker 7: before a cool down.
- 27:21Speaker 3: Guys.
- 27:21Speaker 7: We dropped back to the upper nineties by the end
- 27:23Speaker 7: of next weekend.
- 27:24Speaker 3: But hi today one oh.
- 27:25Speaker 1: Three, get out your winter coach.
- 27:28Speaker 3: It's gonna be a hot week nineties.
- 27:30Speaker 6: I mean it is hot. I just you don't want
- 27:31Speaker 6: when you get older.
- 27:33Speaker 1: The kids don't understand this because I was talking to
- 27:34Speaker 1: my son about it, because he'll go upstairs and turn
- 27:36Speaker 1: the AC down to like sixty three, and I'm like, whoa, whoa.
- 27:40Speaker 6: Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 27:41Speaker 3: Easy.
- 27:42Speaker 1: But it's just I just keep hearing the AC run
- 27:44Speaker 1: and I'm just an expensive, expensive, expensive, one hundred.
- 27:47Speaker 7: Percent well in the US Department of Energy, by the way,
- 27:50Speaker 7: issued an emergency order yesterday to take some stress off
- 27:53Speaker 7: the power grid across seventeen states, including parts of Texas.
- 27:57Speaker 3: This order goes through August third.
- 28:00Speaker 7: So this basically spans from north Dakota to Louisiana.
- 28:03Speaker 3: This is the Southwest Powerpool.
- 28:06Speaker 7: This is not territory, so they cover parts of the
- 28:08Speaker 7: Panhandle in northeast Texas.
- 28:11Speaker 3: Yeah, so just brace yourselves. This week is going to
- 28:13Speaker 3: be extra extra hot.
- 28:14Speaker 6: Did they say anything about rolling brownouts or whatever?
- 28:16Speaker 3: They don't hear anything about that.
- 28:17Speaker 1: No, Well that's what the column and they like turn
- 28:22Speaker 1: the power off and phases to save the you know
- 28:25Speaker 1: grid or whatever.
- 28:26Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't hear about that, but if I do,
- 28:28Speaker 3: I'll let you know. Brown out.
- 28:30Speaker 6: I think that's what it's called.
- 28:31Speaker 3: I think it is as opposed to a blackout.
- 28:35Speaker 11: Right, that's out almost out.
- 28:40Speaker 1: It's coming back out or coming back on? Yeah, listen,
- 28:43Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Yeah, hang, hang in there, guys.
- 28:49Speaker 8: Uh.
- 28:49Speaker 7: Somehow someone leaked The Odyssey online over the weekend. So
- 28:53Speaker 7: this was a high quality bootleg copy of the film.
- 28:56Speaker 7: It was posted on x and watched by millions after
- 28:59Speaker 7: this tweet went viral. So this account is now suspended,
- 29:03Speaker 7: but it had more than two million views within two
- 29:05Speaker 7: and a half hours. There was eventually a takedown notice there.
- 29:10Speaker 7: But this film has already made six hundred and forty
- 29:12Speaker 7: million dollars worldwide after two weekends in theaters. So yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 7: I can only imagine people rushing to their computers.
- 29:21Speaker 3: It's been out for two weekends.
- 29:23Speaker 1: Yeah leaked.
- 29:24Speaker 7: This got leaked over this past weekend.
- 29:28Speaker 6: Who cares?
- 29:28Speaker 3: Well? Yeah, but like you can't just watch it on
- 29:30Speaker 3: your computer like it's a new movie. Yeah, still, you know,
- 29:34Speaker 3: super leak. I mean, this film is incredibly successful.
- 29:38Speaker 7: What's about Yeah, I'm not an action fantasy person.
- 29:41Speaker 3: It's a Christopher Nolan movie. Like there's Trojan War all
- 29:44Speaker 3: that stuff.
- 29:46Speaker 4: It talks about the Greek you know, during Greek times,
- 29:49Speaker 4: like the Trojan horse stuff like that.
- 29:53Speaker 3: Okay, it's a Christopher Nolan movie. It's Matt Damon, it's
- 29:56Speaker 3: all those guys. Yeah, it's it's a big deal.
- 30:00Speaker 8: Seen it.
- 30:00Speaker 3: I don't have any plans to see it. That's not
- 30:02Speaker 3: my vibe.
- 30:03Speaker 6: Like cops in the movies, is there any murder drama?
- 30:07Speaker 1: Oh?
- 30:07Speaker 4: Probably, there's a lot of care.
- 30:09Speaker 1: Maybe it's a lot of I love how I'm so

- 30:50Speaker 3: It was everywhere.
- 30:50Speaker 7: But people say the crinkle Cup fries like hold their
- 30:53Speaker 7: salt and crispiness really well, and they have a good
- 30:55Speaker 7: amount of seasoning, and that's why they seem to win this.

- 33:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:07Speaker 1: Not only did I survive, Candice, I think it actually
- 33:09Speaker 1: helped my stomach out. Okay, Oh, yeah, I was thriving. Honestly,
- 33:13Speaker 1: I don't even know if that parasite. I think it's
- 33:15Speaker 1: just because nineties kids are built different if you grew
- 33:18Speaker 1: up in the nineties, Oh no, for sure. We drank
- 33:20Speaker 1: hot hose water. You know, it was stuff we did that,
- 33:24Speaker 1: just normal stomachs. I think today they're too soft, you know.
- 33:28Speaker 1: But you don't feed endSo your son anything bad? I do, No,
- 33:32Speaker 1: you don't.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah he had last week was crazy.
- 33:35Speaker 7: He had pizza three days in a row, ice cream
- 33:37Speaker 7: three days in a row.
- 33:38Speaker 1: Yeah, but you're doing the ice cream that's really good
- 33:41Speaker 1: for you and stuff. Yeah.
- 33:42Speaker 6: I mean we pretty much ate razor blades as kids.
- 33:45Speaker 6: We just ate whatever.
- 33:46Speaker 4: You know.
- 33:47Speaker 1: We weren't even allowed in the house. Do you know
- 33:48Speaker 1: this candae out all day hot? Yeah, sarcinagen, hot hose water,
- 33:54Speaker 1: just drinking it. I drank creek water. I drank whatever
- 33:59Speaker 1: I had to do to survive, eating bark off trees. Yes,
- 34:03Speaker 1: I was canon, So either way, I survived, Thank you, Tom.
- 34:07Speaker 1: I was thriving actually, so wheel a misfortune not happening
- 34:10Speaker 1: this week. Should we do it Friday though? If you
- 34:12Speaker 1: want to, I mean, well, fin we put a poll
- 34:15Speaker 1: up on Instagram. Okay, and maybe we'll have people vote
- 34:19Speaker 1: if you want, because you really control the show anyway. Yeah,
- 34:21Speaker 1: so you can let us step I'll put.
- 34:22Speaker 6: It out all right, do that, Cannis. Okay?
- 34:24Speaker 1: If you have a secret eight three three seven eight
- 34:27Speaker 1: seven one o two nine, doesn't matter what it is,
- 34:29Speaker 1: could be a big secret, a little secret.
- 34:31Speaker 6: It's time to confess. So what's going on?
- 34:34Speaker 2: Yeah, I just I can't tell anyone about this, and
- 34:38Speaker 2: I'm just just really kind of ashamed, pretty sure I'm
- 34:42Speaker 2: about to have a nervous breakdown.
- 34:44Speaker 1: Oh no, why, Well.
- 34:47Speaker 10: I just hate summer because of my kids.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I mean, you hate summer?
- 34:53Speaker 10: I hate it? Yes, I have. I have a two preschoolers.
- 34:57Speaker 2: Okay, I love them, I love them more than anything.
- 35:01Speaker 10: But I just I just don't know how much longer
- 35:03Speaker 10: I can yet.
- 35:04Speaker 2: I mean, they are together twenty four to seven, which
- 35:08Speaker 2: means they're also fighting twenty four to seven, Like one
- 35:12Speaker 2: is crying or the other is crying, or they're both
- 35:15Speaker 2: crying and somebody needs something all the time, and it's
- 35:19Speaker 2: just they're making a mess.
- 35:20Speaker 10: Does not stop.
- 35:22Speaker 1: So do you have do you have anybody to help you?
- 35:25Speaker 1: Or is this something you're doing alone?
- 35:27Speaker 2: Well, I mean, my husband works all day and we
- 35:31Speaker 2: don't have any family nearby, so I can't ask Grandma
- 35:35Speaker 2: to take the kids or anything. So it's all on me.
- 35:37Speaker 2: And you know, my husband.
- 35:41Speaker 10: Works real hard, like I said, but.
- 35:44Speaker 2: We're still struggling to make ends meet, so we can't
- 35:46Speaker 2: hire a babysitter or get a nanny or anything like that.
- 35:49Speaker 10: And it's just.
- 35:51Speaker 9: It's all on me.
- 35:53Speaker 3: Right, You are not alone, that's for sure.
- 35:56Speaker 2: I just I know I probably sound ungrateful, but I'm
- 36:00Speaker 2: just I'm so exhausted and I can't even explain how
- 36:04Speaker 2: exhausted I am. There's no me left, do you know
- 36:08Speaker 2: what I mean?
- 36:09Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, so many moms feel that way?
- 36:13Speaker 6: Is it this time of the year.
- 36:14Speaker 1: And I know, Kennis, it's something about summer that just
- 36:17Speaker 1: springs out. I mean, you're right, because certain moms you don't.
- 36:21Speaker 7: Get a break, no, and you have to entertain twenty
- 36:24Speaker 7: four to seven and during the summer, you know, you're.
- 36:27Speaker 3: Just counting down the weeks.
- 36:28Speaker 7: And it sucks because some are supposed to be carefree
- 36:30Speaker 7: and you know, everything is relaxed, but it's so stressful.
- 36:33Speaker 2: I get it, Yeah, I mean the only piece I
- 36:37Speaker 2: get is when my husband comes home and he'll usually
- 36:40Speaker 2: put the kids to bed, and I tell them I'm
- 36:42Speaker 2: going to go take a shower, and honestly, I just
- 36:45Speaker 2: sit on the bathroom floor and cry for about an hour.
- 36:50Speaker 10: I don't even turn on the water half the time.
- 36:52Speaker 2: I just need some place to go without somebody yelling
- 36:56Speaker 2: mom or pulling my shirt or asking for a snack
- 37:00Speaker 2: or fighting or anything like that.
- 37:01Speaker 1: You know, I get that, But let me ask you this,
- 37:03Speaker 1: like why do you feel like you have to keep
- 37:05Speaker 1: this a secret and you can't tell anybody? I mean, like,
- 37:08Speaker 1: what's going through your head? Where this is? I know,
- 37:11Speaker 1: I get why the moms.
- 37:13Speaker 3: Are at their breaking point absolutely late July.
- 37:16Speaker 1: Do you feel bad about feeling this way? Are you
- 37:18Speaker 1: nervous about it?
- 37:19Speaker 10: It makes me feel like I'm a bad mom?
- 37:22Speaker 1: You know?
- 37:23Speaker 2: I just and I just need to know.
- 37:25Speaker 10: Am I alone?
- 37:26Speaker 4: Like?
- 37:26Speaker 10: Do other moms feel this way?
- 37:28Speaker 1: Oh?
- 37:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you're not alone for longer.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I don't know how much younger I can keep it
- 37:33Speaker 2: together like and pretend I'm okay. I just I need
- 37:37Speaker 2: a break and I need school to start, and I
- 37:39Speaker 2: just I feel awful just even saying that out loud.
- 37:42Speaker 7: Do you know no, it's hard that do you know
- 37:45Speaker 7: what that tells me you're a good mom, you know,
- 37:47Speaker 7: because it's the moms that don't don't take it this
- 37:49Speaker 7: far and don't come to this breaking point sometimes because
- 37:52Speaker 7: they don't care enough. You know, they'll be selfish and
- 37:54Speaker 7: make time for themselves when they really shouldn't. But you know,
- 37:58Speaker 7: this is a real tough time of year, trust me. Yeah,
- 38:01Speaker 7: not for to stay at home moms, working moms too.
- 38:03Speaker 1: Right, and a lot of time. No, I mean everybody
- 38:06Speaker 1: has their struggles, for sure, but moms I do feel like, Yeah,
- 38:10Speaker 1: I feel like moms you just you wear you wear
- 38:13Speaker 1: it differently and it's heavier because there are just I feel,
- 38:16Speaker 1: naturally more responsibilities when it comes to.
- 38:18Speaker 6: Being a mom.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Yeah, we're naturally just softer.
- 38:21Speaker 1: Yeah, and I'm not I'm not saying the dads aren't important, obviously,
- 38:25Speaker 1: it's just different.
- 38:26Speaker 13: Yeah, it's just like all the time, it's hard to
- 38:31Speaker 13: because you tell someone or you go online and everything
- 38:34Speaker 13: says this phase won't last forever.
- 38:36Speaker 7: Eventually you know, they won't want you or need you,
- 38:38Speaker 7: or they'll be you know, more independent, and.
- 38:40Speaker 3: You'll be sad about it. But it's so hard. It's
- 38:42Speaker 3: it's hard to even process that.
- 38:44Speaker 6: Yeah, you help.
- 38:46Speaker 2: When people say that it does not help, It's like, okay,
- 38:48Speaker 2: but I'm struggling right now.
- 38:50Speaker 1: Yeah, do you talk to your husband about it?
- 38:52Speaker 2: Well, I'm kind of scared to tell him because I
- 38:55Speaker 2: don't know how he'll react.
- 38:57Speaker 3: You know.
- 38:58Speaker 2: It's like he goes to work all they and he's
- 39:01Speaker 2: a great provider. But it's just I know, he has
- 39:04Speaker 2: struggles of his own, and I get that because you know,
- 39:06Speaker 2: work is stressful, and then he comes home and he
- 39:08Speaker 2: puts the kids to bed, and it's it's amazing what
- 39:11Speaker 2: he does.
- 39:13Speaker 1: Well, sometimes you know, going to react. Sometimes you hear people,
- 39:17Speaker 1: like you know, with stay at home moms, they're like, well,
- 39:19Speaker 1: I mean at least you get to stay home. A
- 39:21Speaker 1: man will say that, but it's like, yeah, I'm staying home.
- 39:23Speaker 7: But but you get to check out of the responsibilities
- 39:26Speaker 7: of the home.
- 39:27Speaker 1: Sometimes it's easier to go to work, right, you know,
- 39:30Speaker 1: so you.
- 39:30Speaker 2: Can go to the bathroom by yourself, right exactly.
- 39:34Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just it's much different. Well, I mean, listen,
- 39:38Speaker 1: I wish I could give you a hug, and I
- 39:40Speaker 1: feel like you got this, and like Canda said, it
- 39:43Speaker 1: does show that you're a good mom, that you care
- 39:45Speaker 1: this much, that you're you're that committed to your kids.
- 39:48Speaker 1: And trust me, we have moms that call up that
- 39:50Speaker 1: aren't that committed.
- 39:51Speaker 3: Well that's for sure.
- 39:52Speaker 1: We get off the phone and we're like, whoa, that
- 39:54Speaker 1: was kind of weird. So you know, you can hear
- 39:57Speaker 1: your love for your kids and you'll get through it.
- 39:59Speaker 1: Like you said, it's a it's a tough patch, right.
- 40:01Speaker 3: Yeah, toddler's too.
- 40:01Speaker 7: You're in the trenches for a while, and eventually you'll
- 40:04Speaker 7: come out of the other side. You'll just have different stresses,
- 40:07Speaker 7: you know.
- 40:07Speaker 3: But I get it.
- 40:08Speaker 10: I get it.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Maybe I could have somebody call up if there's you know,
- 40:12Speaker 1: I know, we have the best listeners, so they call
- 40:15Speaker 1: up sometimes with suggestions, advice and possible like groups you
- 40:18Speaker 1: could talk to or join. So if they do, I'll
- 40:19Speaker 1: get your info and we can we get forward it
- 40:22Speaker 1: to you.
- 40:22Speaker 10: Yeah, that would be amazing.
- 40:24Speaker 2: That would you don't even know how that would be.
- 40:27Speaker 2: Thank you so much, you don't even know how much.
- 40:30Speaker 1: Just this say, so of course, stay right there. I'm
- 40:32Speaker 1: gonna get your info. So I have it just feel
- 40:34Speaker 1: like hearing your voice. She's just going through it.
- 40:36Speaker 3: I know, I feel so bad, but I get it.
- 40:38Speaker 8: Man.
- 40:38Speaker 3: It's tough.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, yeah, fool get her info in that way.
- 40:42Speaker 1: Well people calling, I already got some d MS about it,
- 40:44Speaker 1: So thank you. Dirty Little Secrets.
- 40:46Speaker 6: Well we do Canda's.
- 40:47Speaker 1: Corn, I'll mixed one on two point nine and Bible
- 40:49Speaker 1: a Kid Candace low Pez producer Trudal a lot of
- 40:52Speaker 1: calls about Dirty Little Secret, which was this mom. We're
- 40:55Speaker 1: gonna keep her anonymous, but she's just going through it
- 40:58Speaker 1: said she felt like she was about to have an
- 41:00Speaker 1: ever's break down, and which broke my heart because she's
- 41:03Speaker 1: got two kids. Summer, she says, she starts to hate
- 41:06Speaker 1: summer because of the kids.
- 41:07Speaker 3: Yeah, it's exhausting, her.
- 41:09Speaker 1: Husband's work and it's a lot, and so many people
- 41:11Speaker 1: call and DM and with advice.
- 41:13Speaker 6: Tiffany, what did you want to say? Go ahead?
- 41:15Speaker 12: So what my husband and I have come up with
- 41:18Speaker 12: because we have four kids. We have a sixteen year old,
- 41:20Speaker 12: a thirteen year old, and then five year old twin
- 41:22Speaker 12: wow wow. And one of the things we do is
- 41:27Speaker 12: it's not every month, it's about every three to four
- 41:30Speaker 12: months or when we can afford it. I'll get a
- 41:32Speaker 12: night to where I can go to a hotel and
- 41:34Speaker 12: I just get itself recharged, reset, and then he'll get.
- 41:39Speaker 10: A night to go to the hotel. Wow, and just
- 41:41Speaker 10: reset and recharge. And like I said, it's not all
- 41:44Speaker 10: the time.
- 41:45Speaker 12: It's when we can afford it. And it's just like
- 41:47Speaker 12: a room at the holiday is.
- 41:48Speaker 6: I love that.
- 41:49Speaker 1: I think that's great and you both get it and
- 41:51Speaker 1: you just kind of recharge.
- 41:52Speaker 3: That is so interesting.
- 41:54Speaker 12: That's one thing that we started doing about a year
- 41:56Speaker 12: ago and it is tremendously helped.
- 41:58Speaker 6: Thank you so much.
- 41:59Speaker 1: I appreciate you calling in good luck and I think
- 42:01Speaker 1: that's great advice. All right, day you too, by what up,
- 42:06Speaker 1: Willy Willy, what's your advice?
- 42:07Speaker 6: Go ahead?
- 42:08Speaker 9: My wife had triplet and we already had a one
- 42:10Speaker 9: year old and it was best in her ound. Man. Yeah,
- 42:13Speaker 9: we found peace, she found everything. Everything worked out, and man,
- 42:18Speaker 9: there was the best thing in our lives was we
- 42:20Speaker 9: got involved in church because they got church camps for
- 42:22Speaker 9: the dumber, they have Kisa kids. Busy gives her peace
- 42:26Speaker 9: of mind, and man, she's gonna fill like a new woman.
- 42:29Speaker 9: That's gonna be the best thing she's ever did in
- 42:31Speaker 9: her life.
- 42:32Speaker 1: That's a good point because she said she doesn't have
- 42:34Speaker 1: family here. Really, if you get involved with a great
- 42:36Speaker 1: church that that can become your family, you can.
- 42:39Speaker 9: Yeah, that's your backbone right there, because they know what
- 42:41Speaker 9: you're going through and they're gonna they're gonna help it
- 42:43Speaker 9: every way.
- 42:44Speaker 12: They can't.
- 42:44Speaker 6: What up Willie with good advice?
- 42:46Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not like that. Let's do it all right,
- 42:51Speaker 1: he's heard for Kenni's court.
- 42:53Speaker 5: He gets settled here with Billy the kid.
- 42:56Speaker 6: And the advice, good advice.
- 42:58Speaker 1: All rise for the Honorable Judge Candice slow pan As
- 43:00Speaker 1: here she is gavel lists.
- 43:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know.
- 43:04Speaker 1: You want to talk about it unsolved mystery. Somebody's in
- 43:08Speaker 1: here messing with the gavel. Pooh is in charge of
- 43:10Speaker 1: the gavel though. So you're the bailiff. So the bailiff
- 43:16Speaker 1: of this court usually has things under control. But this
- 43:18Speaker 1: court is pretty much kangaroo court.
- 43:20Speaker 3: We'll make this so.
- 43:22Speaker 1: At Candice on air. If you have an issue or
- 43:24Speaker 1: some kind of problem, she can help you solve. Here
- 43:26Speaker 1: we go, Good morning, guys. Please do not say my
- 43:29Speaker 1: name because I'm an md OH professional person. Right here,
- 43:34Speaker 1: I won't even say. If it's a man or a woman.
- 43:36Speaker 1: I want to keep this synonymous. Can you help me
- 43:38Speaker 1: settle a big situation I'm in with my wife. Okay,
- 43:40Speaker 1: so it is a man from the other night. My
- 43:43Speaker 1: wife and I were at dinner with a few couples
- 43:45Speaker 1: we didn't know very well, and one of the wife's
- 43:49Speaker 1: was very loud and obnoxious to begin with, and then
- 43:52Speaker 1: she started ranting about health, GLP, ons, COVID, diabetes like
- 43:58Speaker 1: she was a doctor.
- 44:00Speaker 6: She did, she did know I was a doctor.
- 44:03Speaker 1: So I just sat back and I listened to her
- 44:04Speaker 1: spew a bunch of false information to everyone. When she
- 44:08Speaker 1: was done, I told her I was a doctor, and
- 44:10Speaker 1: I explained that she was mistaken about most of what
- 44:12Speaker 1: she said, if not all. My wife grabbed my leg
- 44:15Speaker 1: to kind of ooh, yeah, I know what that grab is.
- 44:19Speaker 1: Grab my leg to kind of say stop and don't
- 44:21Speaker 1: say anything else. But I couldn't help it, and I
- 44:24Speaker 1: went line by line and how she was misinformed. Oh,
- 44:27Speaker 1: this woman was staring at me like a deer in headlights.
- 44:31Speaker 1: And then someone changed the subject. My wife said, I
- 44:35Speaker 1: made the entire dinner awkward and it was an a
- 44:40Speaker 1: hole move to say something, and I should have let
- 44:43Speaker 1: it go. I completely disagree, because I do not want
- 44:48Speaker 1: false information out there?
- 44:50Speaker 6: Who was right? Who was wrong? Candace? Help out?
- 44:53Speaker 1: Oh judge Candace, this is a tough case right here.
- 44:57Speaker 6: Ah yeah, what are your initial thoughts?
- 44:59Speaker 3: Let it go? Oh bro?
- 45:01Speaker 7: Really yeah, I mean I don't know specifically what she
- 45:04Speaker 7: was saying, but everybody has a generic thought on golp
- 45:07Speaker 7: ones in a generic or a way not generic thought
- 45:10Speaker 7: on COVID, And really I don't have a thought on
- 45:12Speaker 7: diabetes that I would, you know, say at a dinner. Necessarily,
- 45:16Speaker 7: I'm glad you let her finish and you didn't interrupt
- 45:19Speaker 7: her and.
- 45:19Speaker 3: Stop, But to go line my line and call her
- 45:22Speaker 3: out on everything every topic she.
- 45:24Speaker 1: Discussed, I probably wouldn't do this either, right, you know,
- 45:27Speaker 1: because first of all, if she knew you were a doctor,
- 45:29Speaker 1: that's what it says. Yeah, and she's going to go
- 45:31Speaker 1: on and say this stuff anyway, then she really doesn't
- 45:33Speaker 1: care what you have to say, right, She's going to
- 45:35Speaker 1: think her thing no matter what. And there's certain people
- 45:37Speaker 1: in life that are just gonna their opinions will not change.
- 45:41Speaker 1: You're not going to change it. Why even waste your breath?
- 45:44Speaker 3: Right? No, I agree with that for sure.
- 45:46Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 45:46Speaker 1: I had a guy that the other day do this
- 45:48Speaker 1: to me, and he was he didn't know that I
- 45:52Speaker 1: was had been doing this for a long time. Yeah,
- 45:54Speaker 1: And somebody was there was like, hey, he used to
- 45:56Speaker 1: be a DJ. And then the guy proceeded to tell
- 45:59Speaker 1: me everything about this business, right, and tell me what
- 46:03Speaker 1: he used to do, and he was on the air
- 46:06Speaker 1: in a certain place, and you know, this is how.
- 46:09Speaker 6: It usually goes down.
- 46:10Speaker 1: And I don't know if you know anything about this
- 46:12Speaker 1: telling me everything about the business that I've been doing forever.
- 46:15Speaker 1: And I just sat there and I was like, yeah,
- 46:16Speaker 1: I can imagine, Yeah, I can imagine.
- 46:19Speaker 3: Right, definitely not gonna wint up you or I know
- 46:22Speaker 3: it all you or correct you, because what was the point?
- 46:25Speaker 7: Yeah, you know, i'mally be like, do your own research
- 46:29Speaker 7: and let it be known that, hey, you might want to.
- 46:31Speaker 3: Question some things she's saying.
- 46:32Speaker 1: But even when you say that, even when you say that,
- 46:34Speaker 1: it's like, what's the point of saying that, because she's
- 46:36Speaker 1: already obviously done her own research in her head.
- 46:38Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 46:39Speaker 6: Yeah, my point.
- 46:40Speaker 4: I just think he was doing he was probably doing
- 46:42Speaker 4: everybody at the dinner table a favor and saying what
- 46:45Speaker 4: they couldn't say. Okay, you know what I'm saying. So
- 46:47Speaker 4: I tell my wife, I'm gonna just step up. Look,
- 46:49Speaker 4: I'm a actual doctor, and I need to put you
- 46:52Speaker 4: in your place a little bit, because I mean, he
- 46:55Speaker 4: did go to med school behind his name, so lady
- 46:59Speaker 4: back then and to.
- 47:00Speaker 7: Your point, I can also see where touching on things
- 47:03Speaker 7: like COVID and stuff that can trigger people like that,
- 47:07Speaker 7: so many people in such ways that Like I could
- 47:09Speaker 7: see where someone who worked as a healthcare professional during
- 47:12Speaker 7: that time that was so sensitive and you know, we
- 47:14Speaker 7: were losing so many people and they were working their
- 47:16Speaker 7: butts off. No, that's true in these hospitals. You know,
- 47:19Speaker 7: I can see where that might trigger.
- 47:20Speaker 1: Get that, and I get as a doctor and someone
- 47:22Speaker 1: who's passionate about your field, it's hard not to share
- 47:25Speaker 1: your thoughts when you hear somebody spewing misinformation. Yeah, but
- 47:29Speaker 1: like I said, for me, in my case, similar thing happened.
- 47:32Speaker 1: It was just like, well, okay, then think what you
- 47:34Speaker 1: want to think. He actually ended up finding out who
- 47:36Speaker 1: I was, Okay, and then he felt I think kind
- 47:39Speaker 1: of he felt kind of dumb because he came back
- 47:41Speaker 1: up and he's like, well, I didn't know you were
- 47:43Speaker 1: you know, that was you and I was like, oh, yeah,
- 47:44Speaker 1: it's not a big deal. Yeah, because you know whatever,
- 47:47Speaker 1: it doesn't really matter. But you know what the best
- 47:49Speaker 1: advice is because you can get in arguments with people
- 47:51Speaker 1: like this quick. I could picture her arguing with this
- 47:54Speaker 1: doctor about this kind of stuff and something. I forget
- 47:57Speaker 1: who said it, but it was like a wise man said,
- 47:58Speaker 1: don't argue with fools because people from a distance can't
- 48:01Speaker 1: tell who is who.
- 48:01Speaker 3: Ooh, that's true.
- 48:03Speaker 6: I think that was a great philosopher by the name
- 48:05Speaker 6: of Jay z Okay. I think.
- 48:09Speaker 1: I think it was him who said it, But I
- 48:10Speaker 1: think about it all the time because you're right. At
- 48:12Speaker 1: some point, you're like, why am I even argue with
- 48:13Speaker 1: you about it?
- 48:14Speaker 3: That's right.
- 48:15Speaker 6: You just do your thing and that you can believe
- 48:16Speaker 6: whatever you want.
- 48:17Speaker 1: And I'm gonna not waste my time, effort, and energy
- 48:19Speaker 1: and have fun with your crazy to pick your battle exactly,
- 48:22Speaker 1: Cannon Slowpez, Do we.
- 48:23Speaker 6: Have a verdict?
- 48:23Speaker 3: We do.
- 48:24Speaker 7: Unfortunately, m D. You're guilty of being a doogie howser Daniel.
- 48:30Speaker 7: I get that you don't want this information out there,
- 48:33Speaker 7: but I'm only saying you're guilty because your wife said
- 48:36Speaker 7: you made dinner awkward. And if that's the case, then
- 48:38Speaker 7: we got to handle it in.
- 48:39Speaker 3: A better, better manner.
- 48:41Speaker 7: You know, if someone has to subject change, you know,
- 48:44Speaker 7: it's a did you really find him guilty being a doogie.
- 48:47Speaker 3: Howser dug a dooey hawser Daniel Daniel?
- 48:50Speaker 1: Yeah, Now explain to the people who is.
- 48:53Speaker 5: Doug Stories with Billy the Kid in the.
- 49:01Speaker 8: Morning only on the New Mix two point nine up.
- 49:05Speaker 6: We just kicked it off.
- 49:05Speaker 1: Today's Summer Ween Trips to Disneyland. You want to trip
- 49:09Speaker 1: to Disneyland on us? A Shot to Win is coming
- 49:12Speaker 1: up next. In Yes, Disneyland a during Halloween is amazing.
- 49:15Speaker 3: It's so beautiful.
- 49:16Speaker 6: So that's why we're.
- 49:17Speaker 1: Doing Summer Weeen. It's summer, but you can win for Halloween.
- 49:19Speaker 1: Get it the Summer Ween, Candice, what's going on?
- 49:21Speaker 8: Well?
- 49:22Speaker 7: The odors of the Oak Cliff apartment complex that was
- 49:24Speaker 7: destroyed in that deadly explosion from May are suing Atmos Energy.
- 49:28Speaker 7: They say the company failed to maintain gas lines properly
- 49:31Speaker 7: and that there was a significant delay in shutting off
- 49:34Speaker 7: the gas there after that first leak was reported. So
- 49:37Speaker 7: this happened after a crew testing soil hit the unmarked
- 49:41Speaker 7: gas line, but that investigation is expected to take more
- 49:45Speaker 7: than a year, so I'll keep you posted. Police are
- 49:48Speaker 7: also searching for two men who parachuted.
- 49:50Speaker 3: Off the Space Needle in Seattle. What a crazy event
- 49:54Speaker 3: that happened over the weekend.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Saw this video and it was freaking me out to
- 49:58Speaker 1: think that these dudes are just this crazy because I mean,
- 50:01Speaker 1: there's more to it than just jumping up. Yeah, they
- 50:03Speaker 1: had parachutes. Yeah, well what if you flow to another building?
- 50:06Speaker 3: Yeah? Like, where did they go? Where did they end up?
- 50:08Speaker 3: And then run?
- 50:09Speaker 7: Because police are saying they bought tickets, you know, and
- 50:12Speaker 7: entered the Space Needle like everyone else, and then they
- 50:15Speaker 7: were seen sprinting to the observation deck, climbing over that
- 50:18Speaker 7: glass barrier and then you know, I don't know if
- 50:20Speaker 7: one or two of them backflipped off.
- 50:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 50:22Speaker 1: But the weird part is, wouldn't you see somebody coming
- 50:25Speaker 1: up with a parachute and stop them.
- 50:26Speaker 3: I don't know, it just looks like a backpack, right.
- 50:29Speaker 1: I don't know, No, they to what I remember. I
- 50:31Speaker 1: got to look at the video game, but they it
- 50:32Speaker 1: looked like they had like suits on. Okay, but I
- 50:35Speaker 1: don't know.
- 50:35Speaker 7: Yeah, the whole thing is weird. I mean six hundred
- 50:38Speaker 7: feet up in the air. One witness said, you know,
- 50:39Speaker 7: everyone was scared at first when they ran out, because
- 50:42Speaker 7: they're like.
- 50:42Speaker 3: Why are people running?
- 50:43Speaker 7: And then the backflipping off was pretty crazy. But this
- 50:46Speaker 7: video online had nearly five million views within the first
- 50:49Speaker 7: twenty four hours. But those people are facing first degree
- 50:53Speaker 7: criminal trespassing charges if they find them.
- 50:55Speaker 1: Would you ever skydive? I mean obviously not off a building.
- 50:58Speaker 6: No me either.
- 51:00Speaker 7: My husband's done it before, he has Yeah, he would
- 51:03Speaker 7: do it again.
- 51:03Speaker 3: Probably he liked it. Yeah, yes, he said, adrenaline junkie.
- 51:07Speaker 6: I know it's not my thing.
- 51:08Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just not me. I just can't imagine why
- 51:11Speaker 1: anybody would get like a thrill out of jumping out
- 51:13Speaker 1: of a perfectly good airplane.
- 51:15Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, exactly. There's no way I could. I'm too
- 51:18Speaker 3: anxious for that.
- 51:19Speaker 7: But they say, once you do it, you have a
- 51:21Speaker 7: whole new perspective of you know, I guess you feared
- 51:24Speaker 7: for your life for thee less, however long it took
- 51:27Speaker 7: to get down.
- 51:28Speaker 1: The totally's a big enough rush for me every day.
- 51:31Speaker 3: No, I agree, guys.
- 51:33Speaker 7: Marvel made a big surprise announcement at Comic Con over
- 51:36Speaker 7: the weekend. Ryan Gosling is joining the Marvel universe. He'll
- 51:39Speaker 7: play the character ghost Rider.
- 51:41Speaker 3: This will be a.
- 51:42Speaker 7: New standalone film scheduled for release sometime in twenty twenty eight.
- 51:47Speaker 3: And I was just really happy for all of these people.
- 51:49Speaker 7: You know, they seed about seven thousand people in this
- 51:52Speaker 7: you know, convention center hall, but they said fans were
- 51:54Speaker 7: lining up, camping out over thirty hours to get a
- 51:58Speaker 7: spot inside there where this panel was happening.
- 52:01Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 52:02Speaker 7: Nicholas Cage played ghost Rider in two films before, but
- 52:05Speaker 7: Ryan says this is a character he's wanted to play for.
- 52:08Speaker 3: A long time.
- 52:09Speaker 7: I didn't know a lot about ghost Rider until this
- 52:11Speaker 7: and I looked it up.
- 52:12Speaker 3: I guess he rides a motorcycle.
- 52:14Speaker 6: He does.
- 52:16Speaker 3: Play him?
- 52:17Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah. And I used to collect ghost Rider
- 52:19Speaker 4: comic Yeah you really yeah yeah, oh yeah. I do
- 52:22Speaker 4: not expect that. Yeah, yeah, you know I collect comics.
- 52:27Speaker 6: I don't know, I don't remember that.
- 52:28Speaker 1: You don't now no, no, not now now no.
- 52:31Speaker 4: But back in the day, I used to collect comics.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Okay, yeah, if you were a superhero, what superhero would
- 52:37Speaker 1: you be?
- 52:39Speaker 4: I like, uh, I like Iron Man Tony Stark because
- 52:42Speaker 4: he's rich, everything he does. He really don't have any superpower,
- 52:47Speaker 4: but he's smart and he can buy you.
- 52:50Speaker 6: He's got good cars too.
- 52:51Speaker 11: Yeah, yes, houses ride, yeah, houses everything, little place and yeah,
- 52:56Speaker 11: I like yeah. I think super Poo would be great.
- 53:01Speaker 11: I think we start a character called super Poo and
- 53:04Speaker 11: he's got a cape.
- 53:05Speaker 1: I don't know what a superpower is yet, okay, but
- 53:08Speaker 1: he eats a lot that could be a superpower.
- 53:10Speaker 6: Yeah, that's true.
- 53:11Speaker 4: I can see through food. Yeah, I can spot splendor
- 53:15Speaker 4: from a model.
- 53:16Speaker 3: Yeah, I like that Poo. I'm Candislopez. Those are your
- 53:21Speaker 3: Texas top stories. Oh that's a hot take.
- 53:24Speaker 5: Let us know what you think.
- 53:25Speaker 8: Here's today's hot take cot take, I.
- 53:27Speaker 1: Mix one of two point nine. It's Bill at a
- 53:29Speaker 1: kid Canda, slow Pants producer, Pooh Money coming up. If
- 53:32Speaker 1: you want a thousand dollars, we're gonna do that next.
- 53:34Speaker 1: And another shot to go to Disneyland for Summer ween
- 53:36Speaker 1: at nine ten, right around nine ten. To make sure
- 53:38Speaker 1: you listen, we're trying to hook you up on a Monday.
- 53:40Speaker 1: Let's go all right now. Hot take of the day.
- 53:42Speaker 1: We've talked about this before, and there's always a big
- 53:44Speaker 1: debate on whether liking an Instagram post is cheating? Okay?
- 53:51Speaker 6: When I say that, I mean as.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Far as someone else's Instagram posts, not your significant others commenting, liking,
- 53:58Speaker 1: is it cheating? Depending on what it is, there's a
- 54:01Speaker 1: million different factors. A relationship expert has finally chimed in
- 54:06Speaker 1: some kind of doctor clinical psychologist and basically said, I
- 54:10Speaker 1: deal with this constantly with gen Z, and I always
- 54:13Speaker 1: forget which ones are gen Z.
- 54:15Speaker 6: I just know they're younger than me.
- 54:17Speaker 1: For millennials, yeah whatever that is that Yeah, that's you
- 54:20Speaker 1: an elder millennial. Yeah, they can be dating someone, but
- 54:23Speaker 1: then their other partners liking stories and pictures of other
- 54:26Speaker 1: women and experience in it is like betrayal infidelity. But
- 54:31Speaker 1: I think that within every relationship it's helpful to define
- 54:34Speaker 1: what is and isn't acceptable before you start your relationship
- 54:41Speaker 1: and what infidelity looks like to you because everybody's different sense,
- 54:47Speaker 1: so she's saying, before you get started in this relationship,
- 54:50Speaker 1: you want to know if it's cheating or not. Figure
- 54:52Speaker 1: out what you two think cheating is, and then whatever
- 54:55Speaker 1: you think it is, then that's your rule. And then
- 54:56Speaker 1: whether you break that rule or not is up between
- 54:59Speaker 1: you two.
- 55:00Speaker 7: Okay, that seems like smart advice. You having that conversation
- 55:03Speaker 7: before we're fully committed.
- 55:04Speaker 1: Though, I think this is so obvious, though, why do
- 55:06Speaker 1: we overanalyze everything because we've talked about it before, And
- 55:08Speaker 1: I'm like, if it's an inappropriate picture or a first
- 55:12Speaker 1: trap and my significant other likes it, is it cheating?
- 55:17Speaker 6: No, it's not cheating.
- 55:18Speaker 3: It's a digital flirt.
- 55:19Speaker 1: It's definitely a digital flir. That is That is the
- 55:24Speaker 1: best thing you've ever said, Kem. Yeah, digital flirt is
- 55:28Speaker 1: is a real thing in twenty twenty six. It is
- 55:30Speaker 1: you are digitally flirting with someone if you're liking their
- 55:34Speaker 1: pictures in their post on Instagram.
- 55:36Speaker 6: If it's let's define.
- 55:38Speaker 7: What it is, right, if you're in if I can
- 55:41Speaker 7: see more of your skin on this picture than I
- 55:43Speaker 7: can when you're you know, walking down the street, Yes,
- 55:47Speaker 7: it's a digital flirt.
- 55:48Speaker 4: If it's a bikini pic, what is What if the
- 55:51Speaker 4: girls like coming from fishing, she just I don't know,
- 55:56Speaker 4: there's be some girls that have a way to make
- 55:59Speaker 4: and she goes, look at his big mass in a bikini.
- 56:03Speaker 6: She's in a bikini.
- 56:04Speaker 3: Yeah, looking at your fish.
- 56:07Speaker 1: You don't know. No, nobody's looking at the fish. It
- 56:10Speaker 1: might be a grooper or a grouper. What's a grooverer grooper?
- 56:16Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 56:17Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 56:17Speaker 6: Fish. We can tell. Don't get a goober sandwich.
- 56:23Speaker 1: It's a grouper.
- 56:25Speaker 6: Okay, Pooh, let me ask you this though.
- 56:27Speaker 4: Here we go.
- 56:27Speaker 1: Now, if you're looking at a woman's picture and you
- 56:30Speaker 1: see her in a bikini holding a fish, yeah, what
- 56:34Speaker 1: are you looking at? Huh?
- 56:36Speaker 4: I'm looking at the fish. But I'm gonna hit her
- 56:39Speaker 4: with the fire. That's fire. That that's cool.
- 56:42Speaker 1: Now we've had this discussion before too, because Poo doesn't
- 56:46Speaker 1: think that the fire emoji is flirting.
- 56:49Speaker 10: It's not.
- 56:50Speaker 6: That is insane.
- 56:51Speaker 3: Depends on what the picture is.
- 56:53Speaker 7: Again, Like if a good friend of mine, like got
- 56:55Speaker 7: a promotion and he's like posted about it, Hey, I
- 56:57Speaker 7: got whatever, and I hit the fire, I'm like, that's fire.
- 57:00Speaker 1: Yeah, you digitally flirted. No, not at all, you did. No,
- 57:03Speaker 1: Then you know what you hit him with? You hit
- 57:05Speaker 1: him with the clap?
- 57:06Speaker 7: Well, I know, but we're cool, like enough to send
- 57:08Speaker 7: a fire.
- 57:08Speaker 6: No, you're not.
- 57:09Speaker 4: Clap is kind of bored.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Eric, Do you hear that? I mean, she's flirting?
- 57:14Speaker 7: No, if he's in the gym showing something's showing hit
- 57:18Speaker 7: with his shirt off, and I hit the fire. That's
- 57:20Speaker 7: a digital what's the difference, Well, that should.
- 57:22Speaker 3: Be I should click nothing. Like next, what if.
- 57:25Speaker 4: He's a good friend and he just won a CrossFit competition.
- 57:29Speaker 4: He's holding up his like trophy and he's like this, if.
- 57:31Speaker 7: There's a world where it could be a thirst trap,
- 57:33Speaker 7: I'm clapping not fire.
- 57:35Speaker 1: Okay, why not nothing in a world where.
- 57:38Speaker 3: We have some friends who do stuff like.
- 57:40Speaker 1: That, in a world where it might be a thirst
- 57:43Speaker 1: trap about just nothing? Yeah? Fair, move on. Unless it's
- 57:47Speaker 1: one of the rare instances where he just won some
- 57:49Speaker 1: CrossFit competition, Sure, clap whatever I mean? Or how about
- 57:55Speaker 1: just a comment king grats Okay, that's another thing a
- 57:58Speaker 1: lot of people don't know.
- 57:59Speaker 6: On Instagram right now, where you can comment on people's.
- 58:01Speaker 1: Stories, yeah, oh other people can see, yeah, your comments,
- 58:06Speaker 1: But people don't know that. So I've seen guys like
- 58:09Speaker 1: see you know, like a you know, a hot pick
- 58:11Speaker 1: of a girl and they've commented and they don't think
- 58:14Speaker 1: it's a comment that everybody else can see and they're
- 58:17Speaker 1: definitely married.
- 58:19Speaker 3: There's so many ways to communicate. Now, do I hit
- 58:22Speaker 3: the heart do I comment, Do I throw the flames?
- 58:24Speaker 3: Do I clap?
- 58:24Speaker 8: What?
- 58:25Speaker 1: It depends? I mean, I'm gonna be honest right now.
- 58:27Speaker 1: If I'm hitting somebody with the fire emoji, that's a
- 58:29Speaker 1: digital flirt. Okay, Have I ever hit you with the
- 58:32Speaker 1: fire emoji?
- 58:33Speaker 3: Poo?
- 58:34Speaker 6: No exactly.
- 58:35Speaker 1: I wouldn't hit can if I hit you with the
- 58:37Speaker 1: fire emotion?
- 58:37Speaker 3: Think so?
- 58:38Speaker 7: But I could see where you would like if I
- 58:39Speaker 7: was on my bike and I did some cool trick
- 58:41Speaker 7: or like something weird like that, you know what I mean.
- 58:47Speaker 3: Really cool car?
- 58:48Speaker 6: She bakes on I hit her with the fire? Was
- 58:52Speaker 6: she in the picture? No?
- 58:55Speaker 3: Those cookies were fired. Sprinkle cookies with the fire.
- 58:59Speaker 1: I'm just surprised how many people don't think that's flirting.
- 59:01Speaker 1: There's definitely what about the hard eyes the heart like
- 59:04Speaker 1: you do the heart of mine?
- 59:05Speaker 6: Depends on what it is.
- 59:06Speaker 1: What are you doing hard eyes I would do on
- 59:08Speaker 1: her soured old bread because it was good, that's not flirting.
- 59:11Speaker 1: But if I do a hard eyes on a picture
- 59:13Speaker 1: of somebody, unless it's like I did the other day
- 59:16Speaker 1: when it was a picture of somebody who had a dog,
- 59:19Speaker 1: it was a dog and her it was a puppy
- 59:21Speaker 1: in her. Oh what a cute picture. I wasn't really
- 59:24Speaker 1: digitally flirting. Would you hit it with hard eyes eyes?
- 59:29Speaker 3: That's question.
- 59:30Speaker 4: That's flirt. Wow, that's flirt.
- 59:32Speaker 6: That's not flirting.
- 59:33Speaker 4: Girl and her dog.
- 59:34Speaker 1: Puppies, It don't matter.
- 59:36Speaker 3: It's flirting.
- 59:37Speaker 4: Yeah, puppies. Yeah, if it was the puppies, bombself. Yeah,
- 59:44Speaker 4: puppies bombself. You can hit them with the hard eyes
- 59:46Speaker 4: because it's just puppies. But if the girls in the picture,
- 59:48Speaker 4: you flirt.
- 59:49Speaker 3: Yeah, because the dog Instagram.
- 59:52Speaker 6: You flirt, know that your flirt.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Well you just said that the fire emoji wasn't even
- 59:58Speaker 1: flirting anyway, So now you're touching yourself.
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: No, but you did heart eyes. There's a difference heart
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: and flirt, heart and fire different.
- 1:00:05Speaker 6: Whatever?
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: What about this one? Does this count?
- 1:00:09Speaker 6: Is cheating? This or flirting?
- 1:00:11Speaker 4: Okay?
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Does flirting with chatchbt count is cheating?
- 1:00:14Speaker 3: Who's not here flirting with chat?
- 1:00:17Speaker 1: They actually did a poll on this, and I swear
- 1:00:20Speaker 1: to you it says that twenty seven percent of gen
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: zers say they've had a naughty conversation with an AI
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: chat by oh I am not even kidding twenty seven percent,
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: and then sixteen percent of millennials have had a naughty,
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: flirty conversation with AI, and nine percent of Gen xers
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: have had a flirty, naughty conversation with chat GBT or
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: AI society.
- 1:00:44Speaker 6: Who have you had one?
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: No?
- 1:00:46Speaker 6: Are you sure? Yes?
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: If you found out your partner was having a naughty
- 1:00:50Speaker 1: conversation with AI, is that cheating?
- 1:00:53Speaker 4: Yeah, gotta go?
- 1:00:54Speaker 6: Is that cheating?
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: Yes, it's cheating, dude. I don't want to talking to
- 1:00:57Speaker 4: those Yeah, bearing her soul to ched GBT.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: What am I here for?
- 1:01:04Speaker 4: Like, if you're gonna have a knaughty conversation, I'm right here.
- 1:01:06Speaker 6: Well, obviously you're not getting the job.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: It's mixed one O two point nine ability kid Candice Lopez,
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: producer pooh. Now that we know, obviously, the World Cup
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: is wrapped up, which feels kind of weird because I
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: just kind of lived and thrived off of the unity
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: that that brought so many. I don't know, just there
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: was a vibe about it that made me feel good. Yeah,
- 1:01:27Speaker 1: And somebody posted this online and they asked someone on Reddit.
- 1:01:31Speaker 6: They asked the whole threat like, Hey.
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: What were your biggest misconceptions about the US?
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: Okay?
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: And I loved it because now that everybody's back home
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: because there's people from all over the world, I mean,
- 1:01:42Speaker 1: which was it was amazing just to see all the
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: cultures come here and then discover things that they really
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: never thought existed or they didn't know about or you know, misconceived.
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: And one of them, like I've been watching this YouTuber.
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: His names were, it's a couple. It's like they're married.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: They're called skint Northerners Ski and t Northerners.
- 1:02:03Speaker 6: And it's really cool because.
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: They're all throughout Texas and then they go to Louisiana
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: to go all.
- 1:02:07Speaker 6: Over the place.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: Yeah, but they loved Texas, and some of the biggest
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: misconceptions are things like wow moments about Texas were funny
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: because they could not believe how nice the people were here. Yay,
- 1:02:19Speaker 1: And that made me so happy because true, obviously, I
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: do love Texas more than any place on earth, and
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: it is true to the point though when I moved here,
- 1:02:29Speaker 1: I mean almost what twenty seven years ago, they were
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: so nice that I thought I was being like pranked.
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: Yeah, like you're being tricked or taken advantage of.
- 1:02:39Speaker 6: I'll never forget.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: I was lost one time the first time I was here,
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: and I was going up thirty five, and I couldn't
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: figure out where I was going, so I stopped and
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: I pulled off into this little store, like a mom
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: and pop store, and I asked for directions, and the
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: guy walked outside with me and he was like, well,
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: you want to see this road down here? And I'm
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: like yeah, and I'm like, what is he trying to
- 1:02:57Speaker 1: rob me or something? But he was being that nice
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: and he gave me his number and he said call
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: me if you have any issues, and I thought, wow,
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: this is not real life, but it was.
- 1:03:06Speaker 6: It was just him being nice.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: One of the other things that people were talking about
- 1:03:10Speaker 1: is obviously the barbecue was life changing in Texas. That
- 1:03:13Speaker 1: was just something people couldn't fathom that was actually that good.
- 1:03:17Speaker 1: A lot of foreigners really confused about chicken fried steak,
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: which made me laugh. They just couldn't figure it out.
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: They know, I mean, it was That's what they couldn't
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: figure out. They're like, this is this chickens? What is this?
- 1:03:32Speaker 1: Then they had to cut it open and really, okay,
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: now we get it. That was funny. High school stadiums.
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: They could not believe that our high school stadiums here
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: were huge.
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: I can't believe it.
- 1:03:43Speaker 6: I know me either.
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: They also a lot of people that came to Texas
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: could not believe that the ocean was here.
- 1:03:48Speaker 6: Okay, they couldn't believe that.
- 1:03:52Speaker 3: We have a whole coastline down there.
- 1:03:53Speaker 1: They didn't really realize that funny, which was kind of funny.
- 1:03:56Speaker 1: But as far as the United States, other people said
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: they couldn't believe the size of Lake Michigan. I asked
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: other passengers on the plane what ocean we were flying over.
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: Somebody else said, I thought everything was bigger in America.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Was a joke. Then I ordered a medium drink, right.
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: They were shocked at that. To be honest, people were
- 1:04:13Speaker 1: way nicer than I expected. I don't mean the service staff,
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: I mean people in general were nice to each other.
- 1:04:19Speaker 1: I had no weird interactions during our visit. I loved
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: it there. Somebody else said, there's so much sky. Anytime
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: I say this anybody, they look at me like I'm nuts.
- 1:04:29Speaker 1: But I live in a huge British city where skyscrapers
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: and huge buildings are everywhere, and if you look up,
- 1:04:35Speaker 1: you really can't see the sky. Yeah, somebody else said,
- 1:04:38Speaker 1: I come from a small island. The fact that you
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: can drive in a straight line for hours is mind boggling.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Somebody else said, I can't believe school buses are real. Really, Yes,
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: this person was from Australia. They said, in Australia, kids
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: pretty much just take public transportation like anybody else would.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: I thought school buses were only something in the Moon movies.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: And then one person said the people. I was genuinely
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: shocked at how nice and people, how friendly they are.
- 1:05:06Speaker 6: I thought if I went to America, I was going
- 1:05:08Speaker 6: to get murdered.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: Oh you to watching the news, that's why.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Well that was my favorite quote of the entire World
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Cup and all the visitors. Here is a German fan
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: who said this, and it stuck with me. He said,
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: if you want to hate the US, watch the news.
- 1:05:22Speaker 1: If you want to love the US, drive through it.
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: Wow, that was cool.
- 1:05:27Speaker 5: Is Texas Top Stories on the Tents with Billy the
- 1:05:30Speaker 5: Kid in the.
- 1:05:30Speaker 8: Morning only on the New Mix one O two.
- 1:05:33Speaker 6: Point nine, kislow piss What is going on Monday?
- 1:05:35Speaker 7: Well, we are back in the triple digits this week.
- 1:05:38Speaker 3: Before a cool down. We'll drop back into the upper.
- 1:05:40Speaker 7: Nineties by the end of next weekend HI today one
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: oh three though, so just.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: A heads up. Oh yeah, guys.
- 1:05:46Speaker 7: The US Department of Energy issued an emergency order yesterday
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: to take some stress off the power grid across seventeen states,
- 1:05:53Speaker 7: including parts of Texas. So this order goes through August
- 1:05:57Speaker 7: at third basically spans from north to down to Louisiana.
- 1:06:01Speaker 7: So I guess this is the Southwest power Pool as
- 1:06:04Speaker 7: opposed to like Urkot Territory.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: But they do cover parts of.
- 1:06:08Speaker 7: The Panhandle in northeast Texas. Uh So, a lot of
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: people just bracing for extreme heat.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: Yeah, and our power grid. You know, when I picture
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: our power grid, I don't know why. I pictured like
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: two hamsters.
- 1:06:19Speaker 6: I'll just run.
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just power or an ice cream you know
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: McDonald's ice cream machine that's just always breaking down.
- 1:06:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:06:26Speaker 6: I try to do my part, you know.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: I try to like turn my AC when I'm not
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: there up a little bit and little things here and there.
- 1:06:32Speaker 6: But I'm like, this is you.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: Does it even help?
- 1:06:34Speaker 7: I mean probably, but like everybody has to do it,
- 1:06:36Speaker 7: or a lot of people have to do it, you
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: know what I mean.
- 1:06:39Speaker 3: But everybody counts, So hang in there, guys.
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: Somehow someone linked the honesty online over the weekend. This
- 1:06:46Speaker 7: was a high quality bootleg copy of the film. It
- 1:06:49Speaker 7: was posted on x and watched by millions after this
- 1:06:52Speaker 7: tweet went viral. That account is now suspended, but it
- 1:06:55Speaker 7: did have more than two million views within two and.
- 1:06:58Speaker 3: A half hours.
- 1:06:59Speaker 7: There was a vent actually like a notice saying it
- 1:07:01Speaker 7: was taken down there on the account, But the film's
- 1:07:03Speaker 7: already made six hundred and forty million dollars after two
- 1:07:07Speaker 7: weekends in theaters, so people were just flocking to this,
- 1:07:11Speaker 7: you know, X page just to see it.
- 1:07:13Speaker 1: I don't even know what it's about, but I mean,
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: whoever did that and leaked it. When they find out,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: they're going to assume him for millions.
- 1:07:18Speaker 7: Oh yeah, for sure. This is the Christopher Nolan film.
- 1:07:22Speaker 7: He directed it. It's an action fantasy. Like I'm not
- 1:07:25Speaker 7: really into action fantasy stuff, so I feel like I'll
- 1:07:27Speaker 7: probably never see it.
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: But it's doing really well.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: Is it like like obviously like kind of like Avatar
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: or something.
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: I don't I don't know.
- 1:07:33Speaker 4: It's like Greek mythology.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: Yeah, like the Trojan War stuff like that.
- 1:07:37Speaker 7: People are seeing it in IMAX and saying that's the
- 1:07:39Speaker 7: way to see it if you're going to, but definitely
- 1:07:42Speaker 7: not on your laptop.
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: Have you snuck in and something?
- 1:07:44Speaker 4: I haven't seen it yet, but I want to go
- 1:07:45Speaker 4: see it though.
- 1:07:46Speaker 6: Have you watched it on X No?
- 1:07:47Speaker 3: No, no, it's not on there.
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: I used to buy bootleg DVDs back in the day
- 1:07:53Speaker 1: before the movies were released. Yeah, and it would somebody
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: would go in there and record it with like a
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: a whole camcorder. Right, so you'd be watching this new
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: release at home and all of a sudden you'd see
- 1:08:04Speaker 1: somebody get up to go get popcorn or something.
- 1:08:06Speaker 3: Right, so weird.
- 1:08:07Speaker 7: So Ghettos Dun Taco has been voted America's best fast
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: food fries for the third year in a row. This
- 1:08:16Speaker 7: is according to USA Today's annual Readers Choice Awards. They
- 1:08:19Speaker 7: also won for best fast Food Restaurant for the third
- 1:08:22Speaker 7: year in a row. People say their crickle cut fries
- 1:08:25Speaker 7: are the jam.
- 1:08:26Speaker 6: Yeah, I remember they were pretty good.
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: I don't think there's any open here anymore, but they
- 1:08:29Speaker 1: used to be one park in the toll way. Yeah
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: it was good.
- 1:08:31Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 1:08:31Speaker 7: Well, let me give you the top five. Number five
- 1:08:34Speaker 7: was shake Shack. I can't even think about what their
- 1:08:36Speaker 7: fries are like. Not bad, Yeah, decent fry.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: Number four was McDonald's.
- 1:08:41Speaker 6: I mean, yeah, that would be number one for me.
- 1:08:42Speaker 7: I thought it would be closer to the top right,
- 1:08:45Speaker 7: definitely above an W which was number three. Yeah, what
- 1:08:51Speaker 7: I mean, I can't say that I've ever had their fry?
- 1:08:54Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean I have, but it's been years because
- 1:08:56Speaker 1: where are they?
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: Yeah, I couldn't tell you.
- 1:08:58Speaker 1: I know there's one in Lewisville and we already said
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: it's attached to the Long John Silvers too. What a combo?
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: Who thought of that? What stoner thought of that? Commo
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: a W and Long John Silvers?
- 1:09:11Speaker 7: Right, well, get your fish and then go around for
- 1:09:12Speaker 7: the friesady.
- 1:09:13Speaker 1: And know you no thanks?
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: Yeah? Number two was Farmer Boys, which I don't know
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: what that is.
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: I heard of that in my life.
- 1:09:19Speaker 7: It's a West Coast chain. And then of course number one,
- 1:09:21Speaker 7: like I said, was Del Taco.
- 1:09:23Speaker 6: So yeah, awful list.
- 1:09:25Speaker 3: Yeah, it's very odd to me.
- 1:09:26Speaker 7: But I mean, think about who's voting in a USA
- 1:09:28Speaker 7: today poll.
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: I don't know who that is.
- 1:09:30Speaker 6: I don't know either.
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: I don't either, but congrats to Del Taco. I'm candaslompees.
- 1:09:34Speaker 3: Those are your Texas top stories.
- 1:09:35Speaker 8: This is dirty, little secret little.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: I'm mixed one o two point nine. Good morning, It's Monday.
- 1:09:43Speaker 1: It's paility kid, Canda, slompez preduy Sha poo. Whatever your
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: secret is, whatever your confession is, just get it off
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: your chest. You feel better about it. Eight three three
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: seven eight seven one o two nine. No matter what's
- 1:09:54Speaker 1: going on, you confess to us what's happening.
- 1:09:57Speaker 2: I can't coll anyone about this, and I'm just just.
- 1:10:02Speaker 10: Really kind of ashamed.
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: I'm pretty sure I'm about to have a nervous breakdown.
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: Why well, I.
- 1:10:10Speaker 10: Just hate summer because of my kids.
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: I mean, you hate summer.
- 1:10:15Speaker 2: I hate it.
- 1:10:17Speaker 10: Yes, I have two preschoolers.
- 1:10:20Speaker 2: Okay, I love them, I love them more than anything.
- 1:10:23Speaker 2: But I just I just don't know how much longer
- 1:10:26Speaker 2: I can yet. I mean they are together twenty four
- 1:10:29Speaker 2: to seven, which means they're also fighting twenty four to seven,
- 1:10:34Speaker 2: Like one is crying or the other is crying, or
- 1:10:37Speaker 2: they're both crying and somebody needs something all the time,
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: and it's just they're making a mess.
- 1:10:43Speaker 10: Does not stop.
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: So do you have do you have anybody to help
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: you or is this something you're doing alone?
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Well, I mean, my husband works all day and we
- 1:10:54Speaker 2: don't have any family nearby, so I can't ask Grandma
- 1:10:57Speaker 2: to the kids or anything. So it's all on me.
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: And you know, my husband.
- 1:11:03Speaker 10: Works real hard, like I said, but.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: We're still struggling to make ends meet, so we can't
- 1:11:09Speaker 2: hire a babysitter or get a nanny or anything like that.
- 1:11:11Speaker 10: And it's just.
- 1:11:13Speaker 2: Calling me.
- 1:11:15Speaker 3: Right, you are not alone, that's for sure.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: I just I know I probably sound ungrateful, but I'm
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: just I'm so exhausted and I can't even explain how
- 1:11:27Speaker 2: exhausted I am. There's no me left, do you know
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: what I mean?
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: Right?
- 1:11:32Speaker 7: Yeah, so many moms feel that way.
- 1:11:35Speaker 6: Is it this time of the year.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: And I know, Kennis, it's something about summer that just
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: springs out. I mean, you're right, because certain moms you don't.
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: Get a break, no, and you have to entertain twenty
- 1:11:46Speaker 7: four to seven. And during the summer, you know, you're
- 1:11:49Speaker 7: just counting down the weeks. And it sucks because some
- 1:11:51Speaker 7: are supposed to be carefree and you know, everything is relaxed, but.
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: It's so stressful.
- 1:11:55Speaker 2: I get it. Yeah, I mean the only piece I
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: get is when my husband comes home and he'll usually
- 1:12:02Speaker 2: put the kids to bed and I tell them I'm
- 1:12:04Speaker 2: going to go take a shower, and honestly, I just
- 1:12:08Speaker 2: sit on the bathroom floor and cry for about an hour.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: I don't even turn on the water half the time.
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: I just I just need someplace to go without somebody
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: yelling mom or pulling my shirt or asking for a
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: snack or fighting or anything like that.
- 1:12:24Speaker 6: You know, I get that.
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: But let me ask you this, like why do you
- 1:12:27Speaker 1: feel like you have to keep this a secret and
- 1:12:29Speaker 1: you can't tell anybody? I mean, like, what's going through
- 1:12:32Speaker 1: your head? Where this is? I know I get why?
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: Breaking point absolutely late July.
- 1:12:38Speaker 1: Do you feel bad about feeling this way? Are you
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: nervous about it?
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: It makes me feel like I'm a bad mom, you know,
- 1:12:45Speaker 2: I just and I just need to know.
- 1:12:47Speaker 10: Am I alone?
- 1:12:48Speaker 1: Like?
- 1:12:49Speaker 10: Do other moms feel this way?
- 1:12:50Speaker 13: Oh?
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: Too longer? I don't know how much younger I can
- 1:12:55Speaker 2: keep it together, like and pretend I'm okay.
- 1:12:58Speaker 10: I just I need a break and I need school
- 1:13:00Speaker 10: to start.
- 1:13:01Speaker 2: And I just I feelful just even saying that out loud.
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: Do you know?
- 1:13:05Speaker 3: No, it's hard that Do you know what? That tells me?
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: You're a good mom? You know, because it's the moms that.
- 1:13:11Speaker 7: Don't don't take it this far and don't come to
- 1:13:13Speaker 7: this breaking point sometimes because they don't care enough, you know,
- 1:13:16Speaker 7: and they'll be selfish and make time for themselves when
- 1:13:18Speaker 7: they really shouldn't.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: But you know, this is a real tough time of year,
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: trust me. Yeah, not for to stay at home moms,
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: working moms too.
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: Right, and a lot of times no, I mean everybody
- 1:13:29Speaker 1: has their struggles, for sure, but moms I do feel like, Yeah,
- 1:13:32Speaker 1: I feel like moms you just you wear you wear
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: it differently and it's heavier because there are just I feel,
- 1:13:39Speaker 1: naturally more responsibilities when it comes to being a mom.
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: Yeah, we're naturally just softer.
- 1:13:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:13:44Speaker 1: And I'm not saying the dads aren't important, obviously.
- 1:13:46Speaker 3: Of course they are.
- 1:13:47Speaker 6: It's just different.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just.
- 1:13:51Speaker 7: Like all the time, it's hard to because you tell
- 1:13:55Speaker 7: someone or you go online and everything says this phase
- 1:13:58Speaker 7: won't last forever. Eventually, you know, they won't once you
- 1:14:00Speaker 7: or need you, or they'll be you know, more independent,
- 1:14:02Speaker 7: and you'll be sad about it. But it's so hard,
- 1:14:04Speaker 7: it's it's hard to even process that.
- 1:14:06Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: Help when people say that it does not help, It's like, okay,
- 1:14:11Speaker 2: but I'm struggling right now.
- 1:14:13Speaker 6: Do you talk to your husband about it?
- 1:14:15Speaker 2: Well, I'm kind of scared to tell him because I
- 1:14:18Speaker 2: don't know how he'll react. You know, It's like, he
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: goes to work all day and he's a great provider,
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: but it's just I know he has struggles of his own,
- 1:14:27Speaker 2: and I get that because you know, work is stressful,
- 1:14:30Speaker 2: and then he comes home and he puts the kids
- 1:14:31Speaker 2: to bed and it's it's amazing what he does.
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: Well, sometimes, you know, I don't know how he's going
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: to react. Sometimes you hear people, like, you know, with
- 1:14:40Speaker 1: stay at home moms, they're like, well, I me at
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: least you get to stay home. A man will say that,
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: but it's like, yeah, I'm staying.
- 1:14:45Speaker 7: Home, but but you get to check out of the
- 1:14:48Speaker 7: responsibilities of the home.
- 1:14:49Speaker 6: Sometimes it's easier to go to work, right.
- 1:14:52Speaker 2: You know, so you can go to the bathroom by yourself.
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Exactly. Yeah, it's just it's much different. Well, I mean, listen,
- 1:15:00Speaker 1: I wish I could give you a hug, and I
- 1:15:02Speaker 1: feel like you got this, and like Candace said, it
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: does show that you're a good mom, that you care
- 1:15:07Speaker 1: this much, that you're you're that committed to your kids.
- 1:15:10Speaker 1: And trust me, we have moms that call up that
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: aren't that committed.
- 1:15:14Speaker 3: Well, that's for sure.
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: We get off the phone, we're like, whoa, that was
- 1:15:17Speaker 1: kind of weird. So you know, you can hear your
- 1:15:19Speaker 1: love for your kids and you'll get through it. Like
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: you said, it's a it's a tough patch.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: Yet toddlers too.
- 1:15:24Speaker 7: You're in the trenches for a while and eventually you'll
- 1:15:27Speaker 7: come out of the other side.
- 1:15:28Speaker 3: You'll just have different stresses, you know. But I get it.
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: I get it. If maybe I could have somebody call
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: up if there's you know, I know we have the
- 1:15:36Speaker 1: best listeners, so they call up sometimes those suggestions, advice
- 1:15:39Speaker 1: and possible like groups you could talk to or join.
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: So if they do, I'll get your info and we
- 1:15:43Speaker 1: can we get forward it to you.
- 1:15:45Speaker 10: Yeah, that would be amazing.
- 1:15:46Speaker 2: That would you don't even know how that would be.
- 1:15:50Speaker 2: Thank you so much, you don't even know how much.
- 1:15:53Speaker 2: Just this has help.
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: Mix one or two point nine feeling a kid Candice
