1 Samuel 8 (From Creation) - The Israelites Demand a King

The Bible Explained with Jenn Kokal · Jan 12, 2024 · 21m

Today we talk about the chapter where Samuel is ousted. Here's the story:

Samuel's sons are not good judges

The people reject God as King; they demand a human king

Samuel warns the people of what a king will be like

The people don't listen and demand a king

Who would be a better king? God, or a man?

Why Christians should avoid being like the Israelites
