Deer Valley Resort is set to revolutionize skiing with the Hail Peak Express, a new lift launching in 2026 that will open 200 acres and seven fresh runs, doubling the resort’s skiable terrain. Designed to move 2,400 skiers per hour via 86 chairs, it’s being built with helicopter-assisted tower placements — a spectacle and key milestone in their “Expanded Excellence” plan. This major upgrade, already underway since late 2024, promises to unlock previously untouched mountain zones and solidify Deer Valley’s future as a premier destination.
