- 0:00Speaker 1: There. Yeah, potty sir, how are you. How's it going? Well, guys,
- 0:09Speaker 1: we have so much to talk about. I don't even
- 0:11Speaker 1: want to begin, but let talk about it. Well, let's
- 0:14Speaker 1: talk about how fun that live show was. Yeah, that's
- 0:17Speaker 1: where we start. Let's start there. Yes, that was a
- 0:19Speaker 1: lot of fun. I was. I was nervous. I was
- 0:22Speaker 1: legit nervous, dude. I was nervous for like a week straight.
- 0:26Speaker 1: I was nervous. That wasn't just like I was so
- 0:30Speaker 1: nervous about the live show. I was nervous about the rap.
- 0:33Speaker 1: I was nervous about the show. I was nervous about
- 0:36Speaker 1: the connection. I was nervous about the internet, like anything
- 0:40Speaker 1: and everything that could go wrong. I was nervous about it. Yeah,
- 0:44Speaker 1: thank goodness, none of it went wrong, you know, and
- 0:48Speaker 1: it was really fun. Like I had a lot of anxiety.
- 0:51Speaker 1: I wanted to put on a good show. You know.
- 0:53Speaker 1: It's like I feel like when we do this, it
- 0:56Speaker 1: just feels so natural. I'm just sitting here talking to
- 0:58Speaker 1: the three of you, and of course we acknowledge all
- 1:00Speaker 1: our amazing listeners, but it just feels like intimate and safe.
- 1:03Speaker 1: Obviously we say someone you regret, we can edit it out.
- 1:06Speaker 1: The live show just felt very like vulnerable, like there's
- 1:09Speaker 1: all these people listening to us. I don't want to
- 1:12Speaker 1: say anything stupid. I don't want to embarrass myself. I
- 1:15Speaker 1: obviously want them to have a good time. Like I
- 1:17Speaker 1: just felt like I was having a giant dinner party
- 1:20Speaker 1: and or I should say like house party. It was massive.
- 1:25Speaker 1: I know, I was just nervous about all the guests
- 1:27Speaker 1: having a good time. But it seems Joel you would know,
- 1:29Speaker 1: and Daniel you were reading the chat, it seems like
- 1:32Speaker 1: everybody had a great time. Right. It was a massive success,
- 1:35Speaker 1: And in fact, we've already been hit up to see
- 1:38Speaker 1: what we wanted to do the next one. Yeah, they
- 1:40Speaker 1: will called us and was like, yo, when you all
- 1:43Speaker 1: ready to go again? It's funny, you know what do
- 1:45Speaker 1: you thought about? You know, Donald, what are your thoughts
- 1:47Speaker 1: on this? Because I was kind of like, and you
- 1:49Speaker 1: might think I'm crazy for even saying this sentence, but
- 1:51Speaker 1: I was like, are we even gonna do another one?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Because like we had hoped to go on the road
- 1:58Speaker 1: and do shows in person and like in a theater
- 2:01Speaker 1: one day, because you and I would both love of
- 2:04Speaker 1: entertaining people live. But you know, I didn't know, like,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I mean, maybe we will. I don't even I thought
- 2:09Speaker 1: this might be just like a one off. I don't know.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I thought it was a one off two to be
- 2:12Speaker 1: honest with you. We'll see what happens, guys. Look, it
- 2:16Speaker 1: depends on what happens with this little COVID thing that
- 2:20Speaker 1: we're dealing with, you know, little COVID thing, I mean,
- 2:23Speaker 1: massive COVID thing that we're dealing with. If the world
- 2:27Speaker 1: opens up again and it's safe to do live shows
- 2:30Speaker 1: in front of you guys, we want to do it. Yeah,
- 2:33Speaker 1: it would be kind of like like let's say, let's say,
- 2:35Speaker 1: like it truly becomes safe, you know, this year to
- 2:38Speaker 1: do a show. We could do like you know, we
- 2:41Speaker 1: could do like New York. But I'm just like, we
- 2:43Speaker 1: could do like a few cities to try it out,
- 2:45Speaker 1: or something New York, Boston, you know. I like that idea.
- 2:49Speaker 1: But if it doesn't open up, then I'm totally opening
- 2:53Speaker 1: open to doing another show like we did. Let's talk
- 2:56Speaker 1: about something funny and amazing. We can't tell you how
- 3:00Speaker 1: it ended, but we had the most epic fucking time
- 3:03Speaker 1: on Family Feud. I was such a blast. I could
- 3:07Speaker 1: not wipe the smile off my face all day yesterday.
- 3:09Speaker 1: You guys, I'm just walking around like like I was
- 3:12Speaker 1: just like I was just bopping. It was just so surreal.
- 3:15Speaker 1: I mean, I don't know, I want you guys to
- 3:16Speaker 1: share your experience, but I you know, like I've been
- 3:19Speaker 1: watching that show on and off since Richard Dawson, and
- 3:22Speaker 1: just to be on that set was and of course
- 3:24Speaker 1: with all of you guys and Bill and Neil, it
- 3:27Speaker 1: was just so fucking awesome. Yeah, you know, it was
- 3:30Speaker 1: really awesome. When when Steve Harvey walked out, That's when
- 3:33Speaker 1: I was like, this is officially official. He walked out
- 3:42Speaker 1: and I was like, that's fucking Steve Harvey right there.
- 3:44Speaker 1: Oh my god. He was glowing like he was glowing.
- 3:49Speaker 1: I've never seen more polished before. Oh good. I wanted
- 3:53Speaker 1: to touch the mustache, but we had all these COVID rules.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Obviously we couldn't be within six feet of Steve, which
- 3:58Speaker 1: I it's definite. It's was troubling COVID saying I've experienced
- 4:01Speaker 1: that everything else I could have to not get a
- 4:04Speaker 1: hip hop hug from Steve Harvey, really, hap you really?
- 4:07Speaker 1: I really wanted to hug Steve too. I wanted to,
- 4:09Speaker 1: you know, and and you didn't excuse me, you didn't
- 4:12Speaker 1: teach me and and drill me on a proper hip
- 4:14Speaker 1: hop hug for years for me to not be able
- 4:16Speaker 1: to give one to Steve Harvey. I know, but you
- 4:19Speaker 1: could give You don't have to give a hip hop
- 4:20Speaker 1: hug to Steve Harvey. Wait, what is it? Is it
- 4:22Speaker 1: hip hop hug? The handshake before? Yeah, it's well. I
- 4:27Speaker 1: don't know if they still called this, but when they
- 4:29Speaker 1: never called it that, Zach, they never called it, did
- 4:32Speaker 1: oh I thought it was called a hip hop hug.
- 4:34Speaker 1: That's when men, because they're so uncom insecure with their sexuality,
- 4:39Speaker 1: can't go chest to chess, so you have to grab
- 4:41Speaker 1: and then arm is between you, blocking your your your
- 4:45Speaker 1: chess and groin from touching. It's a grab pull in.
- 4:49Speaker 1: Good thing. We've got this barrier because if we didn't
- 4:53Speaker 1: danger Okay, so check this out. When Obama was elected
- 4:56Speaker 1: into office. Scrubs was big. When Obama was elected into office,
- 5:00Speaker 1: like it just like it was. It was we were
- 5:03Speaker 1: at our prime. It was around this time in the
- 5:05Speaker 1: series when he got elected. And I remember they asked
- 5:08Speaker 1: me to do like a PSA and everything like that
- 5:11Speaker 1: where we talk about what's the first thing you're gonna
- 5:13Speaker 1: do and say to Obama when he, you know, gets
- 5:17Speaker 1: into office. Me thinking I'm being funny, I was like,
- 5:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna give him a hip hop hug and I'm
- 5:24Speaker 1: gonna tell him be careful. Guess who guess whose segment
- 5:28Speaker 1: didn't make the freaking by the way, don you lead
- 5:35Speaker 1: to that leads us into that sketch we always laugh
- 5:38Speaker 1: about where who is it? It's Jordan Peel. Yeah, that sketch,
- 5:42Speaker 1: you guys know where he's he's playing Obama and how
- 5:45Speaker 1: he leads white people versus black people. Yea, that ship's hilarious.
- 5:48Speaker 1: So to all the black people he's given hip hop hugs,
- 5:51Speaker 1: which really you know, which really segues into this episode
- 5:55Speaker 1: very well. So yes, we didn't even intend it, but
- 5:57Speaker 1: it intends to. But it dovetails perfectly with this. Before
- 6:00Speaker 1: we get going into that, let's finish this conversation about
- 6:03Speaker 1: family feud. Daniel and Joel. I know you guys had
- 6:05Speaker 1: some freaking uh surreal moments. First, Daneel got the dead
- 6:13Speaker 1: pan look away. I was so jealous. Sorry, And it
- 6:16Speaker 1: was a perfect setup too. It was wonderful. By the
- 6:19Speaker 1: way Dane. Someone said to me on my on Instagram
- 6:22Speaker 1: because they knew I was talking about it on stuff.
- 6:23Speaker 1: They were like, they were like, what's your or did
- 6:26Speaker 1: you get the dead pan look away into myself? I'm like,
- 6:28Speaker 1: no fucking Daniel did. Sorry Joel, So it's okay, It's okay, listen.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I when we got to like pan feudles, like I
- 6:39Speaker 1: don't know, like game show corny, I'm I'm just not
- 6:42Speaker 1: sure about it, um. But then Daniel got hyped for it,
- 6:45Speaker 1: and I was like, you know, I don't want to
- 6:47Speaker 1: miss it, no excite I am. I don't want to
- 6:50Speaker 1: not be there either, And so I was like, let's
- 6:53Speaker 1: just do it, like I just goes the whole day.
- 6:55Speaker 1: I'm like, okay, we're gonna go feude. And I picked
- 6:56Speaker 1: up in a black car. It was like very fancy
- 6:58Speaker 1: for you know, low level meet there. We're gonna pick
- 7:00Speaker 1: you up in a black car and we're gonna pop
- 7:02Speaker 1: you in a trailer for like five minutes and then
- 7:04Speaker 1: you're gonna do hair and makeup and the gone. So
- 7:06Speaker 1: I got like the whole like Hollywood field, which was
- 7:08Speaker 1: kind of cool, but thin, guys, it's good. I don't
- 7:11Speaker 1: know if it's gonna show up on camera when you
- 7:12Speaker 1: watch the episode. But all three of them like lit
- 7:15Speaker 1: up like sparklers. They were like, oh my god, we're
- 7:18Speaker 1: here and it's happening. Take pictures, and then like they
- 7:23Speaker 1: were like children and it was so sweet, and then
- 7:28Speaker 1: it was I have so fucking litutely contagious. By the
- 7:31Speaker 1: time all of us were in the green room and
- 7:33Speaker 1: the producer came in and was like breaking everything down
- 7:36Speaker 1: for us and explaining, like the rules, what's gonna happen,
- 7:38Speaker 1: and give it like a little strategy how to, I
- 7:41Speaker 1: was like, oh man, this is it. And then when
- 7:43Speaker 1: you step on it's like bright lights, big city in there.
- 7:46Speaker 1: It's it's hot under the lights and the podium with
- 7:49Speaker 1: a thing. And luckily Zach was like, Joell, test out
- 7:51Speaker 1: the buzzer first, like a shot, because I was I
- 7:54Speaker 1: would have been too nervous, wanted my team. I wanted
- 7:57Speaker 1: my team prepared, and I was like, Juell, did you
- 7:58Speaker 1: try out the buzzer? Drive shout the buzzer. It was
- 8:01Speaker 1: the best advice I got all that day. And then yeah,
- 8:04Speaker 1: when Steve Harvey came out, I was like, oh man,
- 8:06Speaker 1: this is big. By the time we're answering questions. We
- 8:08Speaker 1: were just in the flow and we were like really
- 8:10Speaker 1: became a team, like very fast. We were like, you know,
- 8:12Speaker 1: we have to win today, and like I'm not a
- 8:16Speaker 1: very competitive person, a little competitive, but I felt my
- 8:19Speaker 1: spirit come out. So it was overall just a really
- 8:21Speaker 1: wonderful experience. It was fun. It's funny, like I'm not
- 8:24Speaker 1: normally super competitive about a lot of things, but Donald
- 8:27Speaker 1: and Bill both really are. And I was like, but yes,
- 8:31Speaker 1: but yesterday I was competitive, and I knew like I
- 8:34Speaker 1: didn't want to let I didn't want to let the
- 8:35Speaker 1: team down. I got super into it. Yeah, I was.
- 8:40Speaker 1: I had been waiting for that moment for years. But
- 8:43Speaker 1: it was the kind of moment that you think is
- 8:44Speaker 1: never ever going to happen. You know, you're watching these
- 8:46Speaker 1: things on TV, any any game show. I always say
- 8:48Speaker 1: to myself, you know, I think I can sit here
- 8:50Speaker 1: now and answer these questions. But I know the second
- 8:52Speaker 1: that I get in the hot seat and I'm under
- 8:54Speaker 1: the lights, all bets are off, I think I'm gonna
- 8:57Speaker 1: fuck up. You never know, but I without spoilers, I
- 9:01Speaker 1: was proud of all of us. We handled every single
- 9:05Speaker 1: moment with grace, and poise, and with even lost I'm sorry,
- 9:15Speaker 1: even with wrong answers, even everything, like you know, no
- 9:17Speaker 1: matter what, each of those moments, we crushed that and
- 9:20Speaker 1: I like, it really all hit me at the very
- 9:24Speaker 1: you know, as the show was culminating, that was the
- 9:28Speaker 1: moment that I was like, oh my god, We're on
- 9:32Speaker 1: celebrity family feud. We're on television right now. We are
- 9:37Speaker 1: here and I know I said this to Joel, like
- 9:39Speaker 1: we I grabbed her by the shoulders. I was like, Joel,
- 9:42Speaker 1: We're on family feud, right How did we get here?
- 9:47Speaker 1: How did we get here? And I gotta tell you, ahead, no, please,
- 9:55Speaker 1: That's what I was gonna say. I'm so thankful. Listen.
- 10:00Speaker 1: I've done a lot. You honor me, hold on, you,
- 10:02Speaker 1: honor me. Listen. I I've done a lot of I've
- 10:07Speaker 1: been fortunate enough to do a lot of cool celebrity things.
- 10:10Speaker 1: And Donald has too. We've been in the public eye.
- 10:12Speaker 1: Well I've been in the public eye for twenty years now.
- 10:15Speaker 1: And I have to say that was one of the
- 10:17Speaker 1: most fun perks of the whole of the whole run
- 10:22Speaker 1: because it just, I don't know, it's just something about it,
- 10:24Speaker 1: growing up on it and the silly the game. This
- 10:27Speaker 1: was silly and simple, but it's just fun. I don't know, man,
- 10:31Speaker 1: it was I couldn't stop smiling. Oh I'm still smiling
- 10:33Speaker 1: today over it. I can't wait for everyone to see
- 10:35Speaker 1: it now. Guys love it. I'm sorry to tell you
- 10:38Speaker 1: it doesn't arable the summer. I think they just shoot
- 10:40Speaker 1: a bunch of them and then and then air them
- 10:42Speaker 1: during the summer, but will of course keep you posted
- 10:45Speaker 1: on when it's going to come out and uh. And
- 10:49Speaker 1: then just to finish the live show. Thank you guys
- 10:51Speaker 1: for all for tuning in. It was all it was.
- 10:53Speaker 1: I want you to know, and I hope it showed
- 10:55Speaker 1: that we put a lot of effort and love into it.
- 10:57Speaker 1: And Colin was incredible. Colin sealed the deal man. He
- 11:01Speaker 1: was such a great guest. Good job, Zach. Yeah, that
- 11:04Speaker 1: was serious. That was amazing. People sent him. I sent
- 11:07Speaker 1: him cupcakes on behalf of all of us inappropriate. What
- 11:13Speaker 1: he said something naughty cupcakes. Naughty cupcakes, that's what he said.
- 11:16Speaker 1: That could be some Scottish slang for like good no,
- 11:19Speaker 1: I'd like spicy no. I think he means naughty, like
- 11:21Speaker 1: because they're so sweet and sugar. Oh. I thought, yeah,
- 11:27Speaker 1: send him, send him like pornographic cupcakes. Ever, No, no,
- 11:35Speaker 1: I just send him cupcakes. But I know he doesn't drink,
- 11:37Speaker 1: so I didn't want to send him booze. So I
- 11:39Speaker 1: was like, yeah, as you know from the song, when
- 11:41Speaker 1: you're giving up the drink and those nasty cigarettes, I
- 11:43Speaker 1: leave the party early at least with no regrets, and
- 11:47Speaker 1: he doesn't, and he's not sleeping with what's her name
- 11:49Speaker 1: is so much anymore? Now, did you think that that
- 11:51Speaker 1: was I don't think. I think they're still together. I
- 11:53Speaker 1: think I was just an old man joke. He was saying,
- 11:55Speaker 1: like self replicatingly, like I don't. We don't have sex
- 11:58Speaker 1: that much more anymore, right, I like being with Marie
- 12:01Speaker 1: not as much anymore. But I didn't know if he
- 12:03Speaker 1: was saying like we're not. I think I'm pretty sure
- 12:05Speaker 1: there's altogether. So he must have just meant like, I
- 12:06Speaker 1: don't know it don't get hard, don't. By the way,
- 12:10Speaker 1: speaking of your character in this episode is so stoked
- 12:13Speaker 1: to have sex. And I'm sitting there laughing and I'm going,
- 12:16Speaker 1: this is Donald playing this is Donald, Donald playing Donald
- 12:20Speaker 1: playing Donald. And on that note, let's five six, seven,
- 12:23Speaker 1: eight stories about show we made about a bunch of
- 12:28Speaker 1: doctor nurses said stories, So get around here, yeado around here,
- 12:46Speaker 1: and we're back, and we're back. Well it's not a commercial.
- 12:51Speaker 1: We don't say that. You um are very funny in
- 12:54Speaker 1: this episode. You made me laughing. I had a lot
- 12:56Speaker 1: of fun in this episode, I could tell. I don't
- 12:58Speaker 1: remember this episode much, but I love the fact that
- 13:02Speaker 1: Turk is willing to let j D ruin his chances
- 13:07Speaker 1: of staying a doctor for sex with his wife. Yeah,
- 13:12Speaker 1: and because that's real. Tur Turk is very passionate about
- 13:16Speaker 1: preventing j D from breaking his oath, his hippocratic oath,
- 13:20Speaker 1: until Carla offers sex and he's like, Neil, I would
- 13:24Speaker 1: do the same thing. Like I'm gonna be honest with you.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Sex with your wife is like, listen, I'm not saying
- 13:30Speaker 1: your wife. I'm saying, if you're married, when you get
- 13:33Speaker 1: to have sex with your wife, it's one of the
- 13:36Speaker 1: best things ever. And I am I don't know that
- 13:39Speaker 1: everyone feels that way. I think you can you you
- 13:42Speaker 1: you have everyone feels that way because the ones that
- 13:45Speaker 1: don't feels plenty of people that are probably over having
- 13:47Speaker 1: sex with their wives. No, they didn't. They are not
- 13:50Speaker 1: having enough sex with their wives, and they want to
- 13:52Speaker 1: have more sex with their wives, and so because of that,
- 13:55Speaker 1: they're like, damn, I wish I'm fucking I'm mad, I'm
- 13:58Speaker 1: over this. I'm over not having enough sex with my wife.
- 14:01Speaker 1: I'm telling you right now, there's nothing better than sex
- 14:05Speaker 1: with your wife. Okay, nothing, I stand corrected. I'm gonna
- 14:10Speaker 1: tell you that right now. But I do think that
- 14:11Speaker 1: you are because it doesn't happen often. I'm sorry. I
- 14:16Speaker 1: think that you, as we've established on this podcast, are
- 14:19Speaker 1: in a beautiful way. Are still one thousand percent so
- 14:23Speaker 1: sexually attracted to your wife in a way that a
- 14:26Speaker 1: lot of wives and husbands might be jealous of that.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I think you're an example of how you guys managed
- 14:32Speaker 1: to keep that fire going. What do you think the
- 14:34Speaker 1: secret is to keeping the fire going? Sex? But I'm no,
- 14:38Speaker 1: I'm saying, like, how do you keep your sexual if
- 14:42Speaker 1: you're together for fifteen years? Some people get bored of
- 14:45Speaker 1: their partner. You're saying, I don't, I'm obsessed with her. No, Listen,
- 14:50Speaker 1: sex is good always, always, there's unless it's unless it's
- 14:57Speaker 1: you know, unless there's you know, there are rules to it,
- 15:00Speaker 1: But the most part, you're gonna have a good time
- 15:06Speaker 1: when you have Donald Phason for intercourse. I recommend it,
- 15:10Speaker 1: You're gonna have a good time. I mean, like, think
- 15:13Speaker 1: about it though, even even at your worst Zach, when
- 15:16Speaker 1: you don't want to have sex and it's presented to
- 15:19Speaker 1: you and you're like, all right, fine, I do I'll
- 15:22Speaker 1: do it. By the end of it, you're like, this
- 15:24Speaker 1: is the bit you're always having fun? Was that your
- 15:29Speaker 1: impersonation of me um coming to climax? Yes, okay, Daniel,
- 15:34Speaker 1: I'm gonna need that on the soundboard, please God. Oh.
- 15:39Speaker 1: We also forgot to get Florence saying Donald You're so hot,
- 15:42Speaker 1: because she offered to combat this with something like Donald,
- 15:49Speaker 1: You're so fit. So listen to that, just that voice alone.
- 15:53Speaker 1: Imagine that saying it to you. You know you, it's
- 15:55Speaker 1: saying it to you, and you know how it makes
- 15:57Speaker 1: you faild on. Let me try, Let me try. I'm
- 15:58Speaker 1: gonna close my eyes and just imagine it's how thing
- 16:00Speaker 1: to me? Hey girl? Love? Yeah, yeah, I like it.
- 16:06Speaker 1: I can see that good, right, what I'm saying, I'm
- 16:10Speaker 1: saying so I'm I'm I'm I'm always happy and I'm
- 16:13Speaker 1: just like turk when it comes to sex with the wife. Yeah, yeah,
- 16:17Speaker 1: you are, you are, You're absolutely right though, all kidding aside,
- 16:21Speaker 1: that is exactly who I am as a person and
- 16:25Speaker 1: who is who I've always been as a person. If
- 16:28Speaker 1: I'm in love and it's offered sex, that is, and
- 16:34Speaker 1: it hasn't been in the equation for a long time. Yeah,
- 16:38Speaker 1: I'll I'll just about drop anything. Yeah, orgo grab forty
- 16:44Speaker 1: coats that aren't you? That was funny. All right, let's
- 16:47Speaker 1: sign in it is um, we're so um this is
- 16:52Speaker 1: we're going backwards now. We're going backwards um because on
- 16:56Speaker 1: the live show we did my quart quarantine, which we
- 16:59Speaker 1: will eventually put out um um, but for now we're
- 17:02Speaker 1: going to my hypocritical oath hypocritical right or hypocritical yes,
- 17:08Speaker 1: hypocritical oath. Written by Tim Hobert, directed by Craig Zisc.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Very talented fella. Um. This is Christy Faris's first episode.
- 17:18Speaker 1: She did a bunch as Jad's love interest and nurse
- 17:21Speaker 1: Tisdale is not only back but has a line for
- 17:23Speaker 1: the fes A line in this episode. She's like he's
- 17:27Speaker 1: he's he's coating or something like coating. Yes, yeah, and
- 17:30Speaker 1: and nurse just isn't used as an object of just
- 17:35Speaker 1: being hot. She's she actually just has a line, and
- 17:38Speaker 1: no one says anything like about her looks. It's the
- 17:41Speaker 1: first time, right, Um, well, I remember cracking up shooting
- 17:48Speaker 1: this to buddy, just the fact that we're trying to
- 17:51Speaker 1: go to an African American club, Like, not only are
- 17:54Speaker 1: we just trying to go to a club, trying to
- 17:56Speaker 1: go to an African American club? Yeah, why didn't you
- 17:59Speaker 1: why didn't Turk like he briefed me the first the clip,
- 18:01Speaker 1: I'm wearing hammer pants and you and you and you
- 18:04Speaker 1: ham hammer time in we obviously got in the car together.
- 18:09Speaker 1: You didn't say, like, bro, I don't know if the
- 18:11Speaker 1: hammer outfit is a good idea at the club. Then
- 18:17Speaker 1: second example, I'm in a full flavor flavor outfit with
- 18:20Speaker 1: the clock. Yes, and I said, man, it's only ten o'clock.
- 18:26Speaker 1: I think I improved that, right, Yeah you did, Yeah,
- 18:28Speaker 1: you did? That was funny. And then um, we finally
- 18:33Speaker 1: get into the club, yeah, or we get into the
- 18:35Speaker 1: club because Carla pays the bouncer off for you and
- 18:38Speaker 1: I to get it. Yeah, you don't just say have
- 18:40Speaker 1: any bouncer spinning game. I would have thought, I don't
- 18:43Speaker 1: a little something to say. I'm just gonna say something.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Isn't that the same guy that you when you're wearing
- 18:47Speaker 1: the headphones and you go, I wish it could be
- 18:49Speaker 1: nice if I could touch about it. And he turned
- 18:52Speaker 1: to looks and you go, not you. Yeah, I think
- 18:55Speaker 1: it might be. I think that's the same. I think
- 18:57Speaker 1: they went to the we want a giant muscular or
- 19:00Speaker 1: six foot seven casting office and he got called in
- 19:04Speaker 1: twice twice. Yeah, any obviously can act. You know, some
- 19:08Speaker 1: some fellas have the look but can't act. But he um, Yeah,
- 19:11Speaker 1: he was very funny. Yeah, it was very funny. You
- 19:13Speaker 1: didn't even say anything. All you said was like I didn't.
- 19:16Speaker 1: It's about time. He's like, you're out. Yeah, but you
- 19:19Speaker 1: what's your You tried to bust the box and then
- 19:21Speaker 1: I try to put your box. When we went a ride,
- 19:23Speaker 1: you were I don't know if it was a BONYX.
- 19:24Speaker 1: I tried to talk like Snoop dog. I guess with
- 19:27Speaker 1: the dis or whenever you call that. You were like, listen,
- 19:29Speaker 1: let us in this mizzle and it would be tizzle
- 19:31Speaker 1: for S's like out too, And then Garla pays him
- 19:36Speaker 1: off now the hardest. I laughed the whole episode due yeah,
- 19:38Speaker 1: when we did get in the club. No, but dude,
- 19:40Speaker 1: because I always laugh when you do this fucking dance.
- 19:42Speaker 1: So we're I'm doing the robot and it's embarrassing, and
- 19:45Speaker 1: Carla's like, Turk, Turk stopped, JD. He's doing the and
- 19:49Speaker 1: as she looks back, you commit doing what you called
- 19:51Speaker 1: a B boy. What do you do with your arms? Dude?
- 19:57Speaker 1: Then you don't know, dude, I don't know, dude. The
- 19:59Speaker 1: fact that it's one beat cracks me up every time. Dude.
- 20:02Speaker 1: It's so funny, hilarious, and I just love. I love
- 20:05Speaker 1: anytime Turk is exposed, like as as big a nerd
- 20:09Speaker 1: as j D. Because Turk always tries, especially in front
- 20:12Speaker 1: of fellow African Americans, to seem like cool and tough,
- 20:16Speaker 1: but he couldn't hold it in. He's got to be
- 20:18Speaker 1: as dorky as j D. On the dance floor, Turk
- 20:20Speaker 1: was excited too. We got in, We finally got in.
- 20:26Speaker 1: That shit was so funny, dude. Our dance moves are
- 20:29Speaker 1: so funny. They were very fun I laughed really hard
- 20:32Speaker 1: at that, dude when we cut. That is such a
- 20:33Speaker 1: funny cut when when Carla turns to her right, turk,
- 20:37Speaker 1: you gotta stop JD. He's and then we cut back
- 20:40Speaker 1: and you're, yeah, you raise your arms, and she is
- 20:47Speaker 1: so funny the way you raise your arms. Oh god,
- 20:50Speaker 1: that was I laughed really hard at that. I laughed
- 20:52Speaker 1: at hard at that, and I laughed hard at freakinging
- 20:54Speaker 1: the Todd grabbing somebody another African American male in the hallway,
- 20:59Speaker 1: pointing at carl and going herr, she's not black. The
- 21:02Speaker 1: first thing goes first, thing goes Todd. First. First of all,
- 21:05Speaker 1: we learned that Todd thinks that Judy is black. And
- 21:08Speaker 1: she says, Todd, I'm not black, and he goes right,
- 21:10Speaker 1: and I'm not straight. And then and then he disappears.
- 21:14Speaker 1: And then he grabs a black man and he's like,
- 21:16Speaker 1: you're just hearing whispered there she he's and the guy goes,
- 21:20Speaker 1: no man, no man crazy. That was hilarious, dude. What
- 21:28Speaker 1: about when I go, baby, you know you're his world?
- 21:32Speaker 1: What was right? Well, that's because because I mess up
- 21:35Speaker 1: in front of Carla where I'm talking about I'm talking
- 21:38Speaker 1: about you have to forgive me for this. I didn't
- 21:42Speaker 1: I don't have notes today. I freaking that's okay. I'm here.
- 21:46Speaker 1: You were talking about the fact that you hadn't dated
- 21:49Speaker 1: a lot of black women, that you didn't end up
- 21:51Speaker 1: with a black woman, and how you wish she had
- 21:54Speaker 1: and then when sort of makes a face and JD
- 21:57Speaker 1: jumps in and it's like, hey, you know you his world?
- 22:01Speaker 1: I didn't. I was trying to. I don't have a
- 22:03Speaker 1: d on the word world. I'm like, maybe you know
- 22:06Speaker 1: you're his world. I wonder if you asked me before,
- 22:13Speaker 1: how do I say? I say world or world? Yeah,
- 22:15Speaker 1: what's the correct way to say it? The world or world? World?
- 22:19Speaker 1: Maybe you know you're his world? That ship was funny,
- 22:24Speaker 1: now the moth joke I thought was really funny. Yeah,
- 22:26Speaker 1: and then he totally gets distracted and lost, loses his
- 22:31Speaker 1: track of his joke when he goes in there, and
- 22:33Speaker 1: then you know we maybe like, yeah, we do dentist tree,
- 22:36Speaker 1: but also some some adantics And was that written? Was
- 22:40Speaker 1: that all written down? You improvise that? I think I
- 22:44Speaker 1: think I remember making up a bunch of that. I mean,
- 22:46Speaker 1: I think what was written was the JD sucks up
- 22:48Speaker 1: the joke, but I think we just riffed on, like, really,
- 22:51Speaker 1: how long can you fuck up a joke stall and
- 22:54Speaker 1: then try and get back to the joke at the end.
- 22:57Speaker 1: Show was hilarious. Umu. And then Todd goes up to Elliott, Hey, Elliott,
- 23:02Speaker 1: your boobies look hot today, right, and and it's and
- 23:04Speaker 1: that's the translation. Actually, yeah, that was. That was clever.
- 23:08Speaker 1: The subtitles. Yeah, We've done more of that. That was.
- 23:10Speaker 1: That's a good funny runner of a joke. Though I'm
- 23:12Speaker 1: sure we've done it before. I'm sure this wasn't the
- 23:14Speaker 1: first time we did it. Um it could be. Let's
- 23:17Speaker 1: ask you know, you want to ask Trevor Wiki. Yes,
- 23:20Speaker 1: let's ask Trevor Wiki. We haven't heard from a while.
- 23:22Speaker 1: And by the way, Trevor Wiki at while we're talking
- 23:23Speaker 1: to you, there's a little bit of an odds fuck
- 23:25Speaker 1: up on today's Wikipedia. And I've only mentioned it because
- 23:28Speaker 1: I went to look at my favorite spot, which is
- 23:31Speaker 1: trivia on Scrubs Wiki and the and the trivia section
- 23:36Speaker 1: which I always read for every episode. It says at
- 23:39Speaker 1: the end of the episode, Doctor Cox eventually does get
- 23:42Speaker 1: to watch the Lakers heat game, only to be taped
- 23:44Speaker 1: over by Kelso telling him not to mess with his
- 23:46Speaker 1: treadmill and telling him the score of the game. Okay,
- 23:50Speaker 1: that's that's the plot point. That's not trivia. Trevor. What
- 23:53Speaker 1: is that doing in the trivia section? Good question, I
- 23:57Speaker 1: want to flag it. Okay, I'm furious about this. Ever,
- 24:01Speaker 1: I know you do this solely out of the love
- 24:02Speaker 1: of your heart, not for anybody, but that is not
- 24:06Speaker 1: supposed to be in the trivia section. Trevor. What the heck? No, Trevor,
- 24:11Speaker 1: this was a funny gag in this episode about the
- 24:14Speaker 1: subtitles being different from what the people are actually saying.
- 24:19Speaker 1: Was that used in other episodes? Did we do that?
- 24:23Speaker 1: I feel like we did. I could be wrong. Hey, y'all.
- 24:26Speaker 1: By the fourth season, Bill and the other Scrubs writers
- 24:29Speaker 1: have began interweaving their genius about the medium of television
- 24:32Speaker 1: into the fabric of Scrubs episodes themselves. This subtitle gag
- 24:37Speaker 1: is only used in this episode, but the meta references
- 24:40Speaker 1: only pick up speed. Thank you, Trevor. Let's take a break.
- 24:44Speaker 1: We'll be right back after these fine words. By the way,
- 24:52Speaker 1: one of my fans asked me not to say it's
- 24:55Speaker 1: one thing when we say, oh, this wasn't our favorite,
- 24:58Speaker 1: but not to keep saying it over over again. She
- 25:00Speaker 1: complained because sometimes I'm I'm saying it about an episode
- 25:04Speaker 1: that's her favorite and it's ruining the episode for her
- 25:08Speaker 1: because I or you are saying we think it's mad. Wait,
- 25:11Speaker 1: hold on. So every time we've said that this wasn't
- 25:15Speaker 1: our favorite episode, it was her favorite episode, and we
- 25:18Speaker 1: know and what she said, and I'm not saying I'm
- 25:20Speaker 1: going to honor her request. What she said was, it's
- 25:22Speaker 1: one thing when you and Donald mentioned you don't love
- 25:24Speaker 1: the episode once, but can you please stop repeating it
- 25:28Speaker 1: over and over again within that episode, because there's been
- 25:31Speaker 1: occasion where I've loved that episode and you've ruined it
- 25:35Speaker 1: for me. Well that's too bad. Well that's what I
- 25:39Speaker 1: wanted to say to her. We will, you know, like
- 25:46Speaker 1: I said, the haters help us for him the show also,
- 25:49Speaker 1: so help us create the show. All right. Well, there's
- 25:52Speaker 1: part of me that want to be like, give me
- 25:53Speaker 1: a break, lady, and then another part of me was like, well,
- 25:56Speaker 1: I don't want to ruin the show for her. I
- 25:58Speaker 1: don't know. It's hard. It's hard, Donald, it's hard to know.
- 26:02Speaker 1: I get in constructive criticism and not get it. I
- 26:06Speaker 1: get it, man, this is this is you know. We
- 26:08Speaker 1: were built with emotions, and we were built with this
- 26:11Speaker 1: little thing called being sensitive to I'm too sensitive for
- 26:13Speaker 1: this fucking career. I quit. All right, Well, you know
- 26:18Speaker 1: what what, there are a lot of people in line.
- 26:21Speaker 1: I'm about to say, there's a lot of people in
- 26:23Speaker 1: line behind you waiting to get up in there. Man,
- 26:25Speaker 1: you step off that line. It's a rap. That's for
- 26:27Speaker 1: anybody out there. I'm trying to quit. I start a job.
- 26:29Speaker 1: I'm so excited about tomorrow. We start day one of
- 26:32Speaker 1: principal photography when I'm cheaper by the dozen Tomorrow morning
- 26:36Speaker 1: at Croco dawn right on. What's that? I worked the
- 26:41Speaker 1: first day and I'm really excited. I'm so excited. I
- 26:46Speaker 1: love these kids we've been rehearsing. It's so talented and adorable,
- 26:50Speaker 1: and gab Union is really funny and really pretty, and
- 26:54Speaker 1: we're just gonna have a blast. I'm so waiting for
- 26:57Speaker 1: the freaking network to announce my ability. I mean announced
- 27:04Speaker 1: that I'm on the Showman, so that I can tell
- 27:07Speaker 1: you guys what's going on. I'm a dope gig. We
- 27:11Speaker 1: can't talk about it yet because it hasn't been announced. Huh.
- 27:13Speaker 1: I'm sincerely excited. You know, a couple of friends of
- 27:17Speaker 1: mine have read the script already and they were like,
- 27:19Speaker 1: this shit is wild, dude, Like, Joel read it. Bill
- 27:22Speaker 1: read it, Joel, how did you read it? My friend
- 27:25Speaker 1: auditions for one of the characters. Same thing with the
- 27:28Speaker 1: same thing with Bill. Bill's daughter audition for one of
- 27:31Speaker 1: the characters, and Charlotte did yeah, and uh, he was like, dude,
- 27:35Speaker 1: the script is amazing. It's good man. I'm gonna have
- 27:38Speaker 1: so much fun. Dude. I'm so psyched for you. And
- 27:41Speaker 1: it's funny that we're both literally going back to work
- 27:44Speaker 1: to jobs we love at the same time. That's nuts. Right. Um,
- 27:52Speaker 1: So we're gonna I think we're gonna an audience. Um,
- 27:55Speaker 1: we're going back to work. So we're not gonna be
- 27:58Speaker 1: able to do too a week, right, Joel, Well, we're
- 28:01Speaker 1: gonna try and bank a few. Right, We're gonna We're
- 28:02Speaker 1: gonna try, and we're gonna try. We want you to know,
- 28:05Speaker 1: we don't want you to think that. We're very conscious
- 28:08Speaker 1: of how much people want love us to do this,
- 28:10Speaker 1: and we're doing this on a Sunday for the first time.
- 28:13Speaker 1: Thank you to Joel and Daniel for being beautifully accommodating,
- 28:18Speaker 1: and then um, we'll try and find days where I
- 28:20Speaker 1: happen to be off and Donald happens to be off.
- 28:22Speaker 1: But if that doesn't work out, we're just gonna record
- 28:25Speaker 1: these on Sunday and they'll come out once a week.
- 28:27Speaker 1: But but we might surprise you and go, hey, Donald
- 28:29Speaker 1: and I both had two days off and we banged
- 28:31Speaker 1: out too. And but um, right, Chell is not the
- 28:34Speaker 1: rough plan. That is absolutely the rough plan. And I'll
- 28:37Speaker 1: also do a couple of like I'll do another fan
- 28:39Speaker 1: Favorites and yeah, I'm trying. I'm planning to put a
- 28:42Speaker 1: poll up soon for fans to vote. It'll be on
- 28:45Speaker 1: my Twitter about the favorite stories that you guys have told,
- 28:48Speaker 1: and I do a cliff episode of yeah, of just
- 28:51Speaker 1: our favorite stories from you guys. Let's get back to
- 28:55Speaker 1: the episode. Yes, you said the only difference beween dating
- 29:00Speaker 1: a black girl and a white girl is if when
- 29:02Speaker 1: a black girl asks you if her butt looks big,
- 29:04Speaker 1: you say hell yes. I don't know if that's true.
- 29:08Speaker 1: I don't know if that's true. And I also don't
- 29:11Speaker 1: know if if if everyone now seems to love a big,
- 29:14Speaker 1: juicy booty, so it might be a universal truths um
- 29:21Speaker 1: at that time, I would say that was accurate. White women,
- 29:24Speaker 1: at least a white woman in my sphere, were very
- 29:26Speaker 1: concerned about whether they're posteriors were too large. I would
- 29:31Speaker 1: say there are many key differences for dating all kinds
- 29:35Speaker 1: of races. You know, some cultures are like, listen, Eve,
- 29:39Speaker 1: better leave those shoes at the door. Is the most
- 29:41Speaker 1: disrespectful thing you can do. Don't bring shoes into my house.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Some some cultures are like, you got to eat this
- 29:46Speaker 1: food even if you don't like it, Like, don't embarrass
- 29:48Speaker 1: me in front of my mother. Just eat. So I'd say,
- 29:50Speaker 1: get to get to know your lady and her culture
- 29:52Speaker 1: and her family stuff. It's probably very different across many
- 29:55Speaker 1: different lines. I'm just saying Donald has pontificated that white
- 30:00Speaker 1: women's again sweeping generalization, but are more open to having
- 30:06Speaker 1: a larger, juicier bottom in twenty twenty one they may
- 30:09Speaker 1: have been in whatever year this was. Yeah, I'm telling
- 30:12Speaker 1: you right now, shit change, man, Like what happened that
- 30:14Speaker 1: all of a sudden white women had ass got asses
- 30:17Speaker 1: all of a sudden, man like Beyonce and great doctors. Yeah,
- 30:22Speaker 1: but somebody's somebody's somebody I think it's in the food
- 30:25Speaker 1: that we shot at the grocery stores because they've restructured
- 30:29Speaker 1: the workouts. Donald There's a whole that's true, work out
- 30:32Speaker 1: routines that are like, get those squats so you can
- 30:34Speaker 1: get the ass that you want. White chicks up been
- 30:37Speaker 1: having fat asses for a minute now. It's not something new.
- 30:39Speaker 1: This ain't twenty you know, it's not all white women
- 30:42Speaker 1: have are genetically uh come out with tiny posteriors. That
- 30:46Speaker 1: is true, but before it was shameful, like they were like, oh,
- 30:51Speaker 1: you know you're getting big and you just slim that
- 30:53Speaker 1: butt down, or like wow, you're gonna wide that or whatever,
- 30:56Speaker 1: And now totally different game. Yeah you get that ass girl, girl, Listen,
- 31:04Speaker 1: I have no bottom and I've been now working on
- 31:06Speaker 1: it with squats and lunges because I'm trying to get
- 31:09Speaker 1: that ass. Yes, build you a backshelf, get that ass, boy. Yeah,
- 31:13Speaker 1: trying to get a mantle like Donald's. Just so those
- 31:17Speaker 1: of you who those of you tune in the live
- 31:20Speaker 1: show saw that we did a dating segment for Joel
- 31:23Speaker 1: and um a young woman named sam One. Have you
- 31:26Speaker 1: had any discourse at all? Have you set up when
- 31:28Speaker 1: the when the zoom date is going to be we're
- 31:31Speaker 1: working on it. I think we're gonna go for Wednesday,
- 31:34Speaker 1: but I'll definitely let everybody know once it happens. I'm
- 31:37Speaker 1: very excited. It should be a lot of fun. If
- 31:39Speaker 1: you saw the show. Well, if you didn't catch the
- 31:42Speaker 1: show and now you're having buyer's remorse, you have until
- 31:46Speaker 1: the Friday to watch it, so you can still buy.
- 31:50Speaker 1: You can still buy tickets for I didn't know that,
- 31:54Speaker 1: so up until Good Friday you can still go to
- 31:59Speaker 1: that same and watch the taped thing. In the show
- 32:03Speaker 1: notes here, it's ten dollars a ticket, and we should
- 32:06Speaker 1: mention that a percentage of those proceeds go to stop
- 32:08Speaker 1: API hate, to stop Asian American Pacific Islander hate, so
- 32:13Speaker 1: it goes to a good cause. It's uh, it was
- 32:15Speaker 1: a fun as show. It's two hours of entertainment in
- 32:18Speaker 1: two hours, and we have HD cameras so you can see,
- 32:21Speaker 1: um that Donald doesn't crack and then I have wrinkles.
- 32:24Speaker 1: And now, Joel H. Daniel, do you have the ability
- 32:29Speaker 1: to play the theme song or is that something you
- 32:31Speaker 1: gotta put in later right now? No, I'll it in later.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry. All right, Well, should we should we play
- 32:37Speaker 1: the song for people since the Oh yeah, Travis, the
- 32:43Speaker 1: songwriter sent me like a slightly more polished URSI a
- 32:47Speaker 1: few extra funking lyrics. Travis like that? It was did
- 32:51Speaker 1: Travis like that? It was used on the live show?
- 32:53Speaker 1: Oh my god? He loved it. He thought it was amazing.
- 32:57Speaker 1: He really enjoyed the fan reaction. So I I don't know,
- 33:00Speaker 1: we'll see. Maybe we can recruit Travis. Yeah, maybe we
- 33:03Speaker 1: can recruit Travis to write more hooky songs for us.
- 33:06Speaker 1: And we well, that song was fired all right, So
- 33:09Speaker 1: here is everybody. We're gonna play it for you because
- 33:11Speaker 1: it's so darn good. And this will be the theme
- 33:13Speaker 1: whenever we discuss Joel's dating life. Here it is get
- 33:18Speaker 1: the word out, Joe down, no matter what you could
- 33:30Speaker 1: be making an egg Oh yeah, Joe. I mean the
- 33:40Speaker 1: lyrics are just fired. You what's good, no matter no
- 33:44Speaker 1: matter what's between your legs in the morning, you could
- 33:47Speaker 1: be making her eggs. Yeah, down again, down to get
- 33:51Speaker 1: downie is it's really hooky. It's really hooky. It's really great.
- 33:57Speaker 1: He's talented. What's his name, Joel Is, make sure to
- 34:00Speaker 1: give him a shout out again. He's Travis wavy two
- 34:03Speaker 1: v's and each word on Instagram to go follow him.
- 34:07Speaker 1: So yeah, So he wrote, So Joel, you'll you promise
- 34:10Speaker 1: to keep us posted when you've had your your your date.
- 34:13Speaker 1: Maybe take a screenshot or something so we can just
- 34:18Speaker 1: we could we could, I don't know, well, we'll instagram
- 34:20Speaker 1: it out to the fans. I'm very My mom proved
- 34:22Speaker 1: the audience choice. She was very excited, so oh so sweet.
- 34:26Speaker 1: My mom couldn't figure out how to get on. She
- 34:29Speaker 1: was excited to do it. And then when the show
- 34:32Speaker 1: was up and running and I was we were all
- 34:34Speaker 1: in it, I got a text from her saying I
- 34:36Speaker 1: can't figure it out, and I could, I couldn't be
- 34:38Speaker 1: available for tech support from my mom. So my mom
- 34:41Speaker 1: did not buy a ticket and she did not watch
- 34:44Speaker 1: the show. I'm just gonna put it out thank you.
- 34:46Speaker 1: By the way, is your mom down interested to come
- 34:49Speaker 1: on the show if you broach that subject with her?
- 34:51Speaker 1: I haven't even talked about it with her yet, but
- 34:52Speaker 1: I imagine if I said, Hey, you want to be
- 34:54Speaker 1: on the podcast, she'd be like to yeah. Scribe to
- 34:58Speaker 1: her that it would be in the spirit of my
- 35:01Speaker 1: mom in that we'll talk about funny stuff. Related to you,
- 35:04Speaker 1: and then we'll go into her professional agenting and stuff. Right, Yeah, no,
- 35:08Speaker 1: I'm sure. I'm sure she would be down. I can't
- 35:10Speaker 1: speak for her, but I'm almost one hundred percent positive.
- 35:13Speaker 1: I feel like, knowing your mom, she would come on
- 35:16Speaker 1: and be a bigger Ham than you. By the way,
- 35:20Speaker 1: speaking of Ham, Okay, it's not even speaking of him,
- 35:24Speaker 1: by the way, you guys have to watch something that
- 35:26Speaker 1: is a game changer. Very texted these guys in the chat,
- 35:29Speaker 1: but I'm telling you listeners. Netflix has a new documentary
- 35:33Speaker 1: that's called C Spiracy. Okay, C C Spiracy, like C
- 35:40Speaker 1: like the C S E A H and then Spiracy
- 35:44Speaker 1: And it's on Netflix and it is basically an expose
- 35:49Speaker 1: of the fishing industry. And it is unfucking believably well done.
- 35:53Speaker 1: And we're losing fish, aren't we We're gonna have We're
- 35:56Speaker 1: not gonna have fish, So I'm not Yes, there is
- 35:59Speaker 1: a year that at this rate the ocean will be dead.
- 36:02Speaker 1: But more importantly than that, the documentary is one of
- 36:05Speaker 1: those you know, my favorite kind of documentary is when
- 36:07Speaker 1: the documentarian sets out to make a documentary about one thing,
- 36:10Speaker 1: and then as they dive in and do their research,
- 36:13Speaker 1: everything takes a right turn and they go, I wasn't
- 36:15Speaker 1: expecting my documentary about this, but in doing the documentary,
- 36:18Speaker 1: I've exposed something massive, and so they were so, Okay,
- 36:23Speaker 1: I don't want to I know, I know, but I
- 36:26Speaker 1: got to ask questions because this is such an interesting
- 36:28Speaker 1: topic and it's so on brand with what we talk
- 36:31Speaker 1: about on Fake Doctor's Real Friends, as far as you know,
- 36:35Speaker 1: trying to woke or wake our audience to shit that's
- 36:40Speaker 1: going on out there. I have a one question. So
- 36:42Speaker 1: he was going out there to do a expose on
- 36:46Speaker 1: what it's like to be a fisherman and then into
- 36:49Speaker 1: something No. He was going out there saying, I want
- 36:52Speaker 1: to talk about why the sea is being destroyed, and
- 36:55Speaker 1: I assume, like everyone that it's one of the main
- 36:58Speaker 1: problems is plastics because of all the press of the straws.
- 37:02Speaker 1: And look how quickly everyone has changed their feelings about
- 37:08Speaker 1: straws because it was so successfully push the turtle, the
- 37:13Speaker 1: turtle and other things. It was like so put out
- 37:16Speaker 1: there so effectively. So he's like, I want to go
- 37:18Speaker 1: dive deeper. What is this thing with all the plastics
- 37:21Speaker 1: in the ocean? Who's doing it? How's it happening? And
- 37:23Speaker 1: what he I don't want to spoil too much, but
- 37:25Speaker 1: what he learns is that the plastics that you think
- 37:29Speaker 1: are the problem, of course a problem, but that is
- 37:31Speaker 1: one little tip of the iceberg, and he exposes what
- 37:36Speaker 1: the source of the real problems are. And you just
- 37:39Speaker 1: sit there with your mouth open. And it ends in
- 37:42Speaker 1: Florence is like, well, you know, we're vegetarians now, and
- 37:45Speaker 1: I'm like, well, let's slow down, let's step both, let's
- 37:49Speaker 1: both sleep up. And she's like, no, we're not sleeping
- 37:50Speaker 1: on anything. We're vegetarians now. I'm like, everybody, calm down. No,
- 37:54Speaker 1: but it is very You don't have to become a vegetarian.
- 37:56Speaker 1: It's it's up to you. But just I'm telling you
- 37:59Speaker 1: you can't not watch this thing and be a human
- 38:02Speaker 1: on planet Earth. If you have Netflix, please check it out. Okay,
- 38:05Speaker 1: I'm very I went through my phone just like sending
- 38:08Speaker 1: all my favorite people the link, like you gotta watch this,
- 38:11Speaker 1: you gotta watch this. All right, take a break. We're
- 38:13Speaker 1: gonna take a break and we'll be right back and
- 38:22Speaker 1: we're bad. I got that song into my head now, Joe, Well, God,
- 38:29Speaker 1: that guy can write a hook. Yeah. By the way, Joe,
- 38:32Speaker 1: if you end up marrying Sam, that's gonna you're gonna
- 38:35Speaker 1: play that as you walked down the aisle. Oh boy, interesting.
- 38:43Speaker 1: Super cute by the way, Yeah, she super cut. Well,
- 38:48Speaker 1: they were both beautiful, but she was super cute. And
- 38:50Speaker 1: I loved all her funko pops and the fact that
- 38:52Speaker 1: she's a cause player. It felt very bespoke. I just
- 38:55Speaker 1: don't I don't understand CAUs players who want to watch
- 38:59Speaker 1: in the height and not a movie that there are
- 39:02Speaker 1: multifaceted people in the height, Joel. She loves music. You
- 39:10Speaker 1: put what do you? How do you? Cause? You pick
- 39:13Speaker 1: a specific character and you wear the outfit they wore
- 39:16Speaker 1: in the musical. By the way, are there are there
- 39:18Speaker 1: musical theater cause players? Oh yes, yes, I'm sure. I know.
- 39:21Speaker 1: There's Broadway obviously canceled because of COVID, But just like
- 39:24Speaker 1: there's Comic Con, there's Broadway Con. And I didn't know
- 39:27Speaker 1: if people went in costumes for famous Absolutely, Joe, you
- 39:30Speaker 1: probably love Broadway Con. Oh my god. Linked in any
- 39:34Speaker 1: place you can sing unabashedly in the open, that's for me.
- 39:38Speaker 1: I should have been I agree with you, Joel, I
- 39:41Speaker 1: should have been in whatever reality fame is in, like
- 39:45Speaker 1: whatever whatever alternate reality the fame school is in that
- 39:49Speaker 1: you actually jump and dance on taxis and stuff like that.
- 39:52Speaker 1: I should have been born in that reality, man. Indeed,
- 39:54Speaker 1: so doctor Cox has really stoked about this particular sports
- 39:58Speaker 1: match between the Lakers and the Heat. Donald Up. Do
- 40:01Speaker 1: you remember this time? This is two thousand and five. Yeah,
- 40:04Speaker 1: Kobe's Kobe and Shack split up at this point, and
- 40:08Speaker 1: they had beef like a big time because you get
- 40:12Speaker 1: along in real life. Something happened with Kobe in Colorado.
- 40:18Speaker 1: That and the police in Colorado where Shack and he
- 40:23Speaker 1: did not agree on what he said to the cops
- 40:29Speaker 1: pretty much what Kobe said to the cops, and because
- 40:34Speaker 1: of that, they had beef. While on the same team together,
- 40:37Speaker 1: they had beef and Kobe beat the charge and Shack
- 40:45Speaker 1: was shipped out, and Shack then went to Miami where
- 40:49Speaker 1: he played with Dwayne Wade and won a title. Dwayne Wade,
- 40:54Speaker 1: who's my new gunn to be hopefully my new bff,
- 40:57Speaker 1: because you know, I'm gonna be friends with him and Gabby.
- 40:59Speaker 1: I picture hang out with them and all their cool friends.
- 41:02Speaker 1: That's cool. You fit right in, do you? Think I
- 41:05Speaker 1: fit in. I hope. So I know Gabby loves you,
- 41:08Speaker 1: so maybe maybe we're Maybe you and I are gonna
- 41:10Speaker 1: get invited to hang out with all their cool friends.
- 41:13Speaker 1: You know, Gabrielle Union used to invite me to all
- 41:15Speaker 1: of the parties back in the day. But you, as
- 41:18Speaker 1: you know, I'm gonna get you back into the cool kids.
- 41:20Speaker 1: But as you know, as you know, I'm an introvert
- 41:23Speaker 1: when it comes to shit like that, and I don't
- 41:24Speaker 1: like doing shit like no disrespect to anybody out there.
- 41:27Speaker 1: But also I talk a big game. When you're in
- 41:30Speaker 1: my face and you're like, yo, I'm throwing the party,
- 41:32Speaker 1: I'm like, I'm nah. But then when it's time to
- 41:36Speaker 1: go to the party, I ain't going. Or whenever I
- 41:38Speaker 1: see Dwayne, Wade and Gabby hanging out with all their
- 41:40Speaker 1: cool friends, I'm like, that's gonna be me. I'm gonna
- 41:42Speaker 1: be with them. Yeah. I don't know if that's true
- 41:45Speaker 1: at all, but why wouldn't it be? Oh, I just
- 41:47Speaker 1: think that you and I are gonna be like on
- 41:48Speaker 1: a boat with them somewhere. Margarita's I'm down for that,
- 41:53Speaker 1: Joe Belmo and he gets down dude, get that. But
- 41:56Speaker 1: joelmo Nique is down for that too. Yeah, she is.
- 42:00Speaker 1: All right, let's invite the guest in, Joelle. Let's have
- 42:02Speaker 1: a guest he guest. Yes, say hello. They got married
- 42:06Speaker 1: on Saturday. Oh really, I'm Friday. Yeah, I'm Friday. Say
- 42:11Speaker 1: hello to Paul Kernick. Hi, guys, this is my new wife.
- 42:25Speaker 1: Uh Laura Stonewick. Oh, congratulation. When did you get married? Um?
- 42:38Speaker 1: Two days ago? Oh my goodness, it's brand new. How's
- 42:42Speaker 1: it going so far? Has anything changed in the last
- 42:44Speaker 1: forty eight hours? I'm sorry he's changing. Yeah, okay, now
- 42:49Speaker 1: we can see you all. Yeah, last four years, they
- 42:52Speaker 1: don't think so? No, no, I mean yeah, it's all
- 42:56Speaker 1: been very surreal. It's kind of I mean, um, we're
- 43:00Speaker 1: doing it, just the two of us. We're eloping, Yeah,
- 43:04Speaker 1: we did. We're here in beautiful in this island, in
- 43:08Speaker 1: just northeast of Tasmania. And yes, whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay, wait,
- 43:13Speaker 1: I have so many questions. You guys live on a
- 43:16Speaker 1: little island next to Tasmania. No, we actually live in Melbourne.
- 43:20Speaker 1: Traveled over here for the wedding. Oh I got it.
- 43:24Speaker 1: So and now over there COVID is gone enough so
- 43:28Speaker 1: you can have a gathering. Um, no gathering, it's it
- 43:31Speaker 1: was just us, got it. Yeah, but COVID has gone
- 43:36Speaker 1: enough that you guys could have a gathering if you
- 43:38Speaker 1: wanted to, right, Um, yes, I'm not sure, but yes, yeah,
- 43:44Speaker 1: we hope one day to be able to do that too. Yeah,
- 43:46Speaker 1: we hope that we can do what New Zealand did. Yeah, yeah, definitely.
- 43:51Speaker 1: But most of our family is so we're not neither
- 43:55Speaker 1: us are from Australia, so we've kind of been in
- 43:58Speaker 1: lockdown over over in Melbourne for a long time, just
- 44:02Speaker 1: the two of us and as Australia's Did Australia do
- 44:05Speaker 1: as well as New Zealand did? Because we are here
- 44:08Speaker 1: in these states, we saw all this video of like
- 44:10Speaker 1: how New Zealand like kicked it and like they had
- 44:13Speaker 1: no but no patience left. Did Australia end up doing
- 44:16Speaker 1: as well? Um, I'd say eventually most of Australia did
- 44:22Speaker 1: pretty well. But where we were living in Melbourne, they
- 44:24Speaker 1: had they had it quite bad for a while and
- 44:27Speaker 1: so they had probably one of the blockdowns for easily
- 44:32Speaker 1: sort of for five months. Yeah, we had a lockdown,
- 44:35Speaker 1: like there was it was mandatory to wear a mask,
- 44:38Speaker 1: outside and you could only move like five kilometers from
- 44:42Speaker 1: your own place. Um yeah, and like you're only allowed
- 44:46Speaker 1: outside for an hour and go to one person food
- 44:52Speaker 1: shopping things like that. So well, I'm glad that you're
- 44:55Speaker 1: out of it, and I'm glad that you're married. You
- 44:57Speaker 1: look like a beautiful couple. You're gonna have a gorgeous
- 44:59Speaker 1: looking chi dren. Let's get started on them as soon
- 45:01Speaker 1: as possible. And watch out for those Tasmanian devils man thus,
- 45:06Speaker 1: be careful. They're all around you. Yeah, a lot of
- 45:11Speaker 1: womb Okay, Um, do you guys have a question for us? Yes,
- 45:18Speaker 1: we do actually, Um, so in the episode I think
- 45:23Speaker 1: episode seventeen of season four, you did the hilarious um
- 45:28Speaker 1: sitcom episode. Yeah, we just wanted to know ask you
- 45:33Speaker 1: Donald and zach if Um if there was any kind
- 45:37Speaker 1: of any sitcom like past or present you would have
- 45:40Speaker 1: loved to be in? What would hear us talking about
- 45:45Speaker 1: the podcast? We grew up on them, We love them
- 45:47Speaker 1: and in fact, you know a lot of people thought
- 45:49Speaker 1: we were making fun of them on that show where
- 45:50Speaker 1: we were gently poking them because they can be super silly,
- 45:53Speaker 1: and um, we were poking through. We were poking at
- 45:56Speaker 1: some of the tropes of of sitcoms, but we love them.
- 46:00Speaker 1: What would which one we want to be on? I
- 46:02Speaker 1: don't even know. I mean, dude, when I was a kid,
- 46:04Speaker 1: I would want I wanted to be on The Jeffersons.
- 46:06Speaker 1: I wanted to be on Facts of Life. I wanted
- 46:09Speaker 1: to be on The Cosby Show. I wanted to be
- 46:11Speaker 1: on a Different World. You would want on a different world? Yeah?
- 46:15Speaker 1: Like it all, it all, it all goes with like
- 46:17Speaker 1: the crushes I had growing up, So like I wanted
- 46:20Speaker 1: to be on the I wanted to be on a
- 46:21Speaker 1: Cosby Show because Lisa Bonet, Right, Yes, I wanted to
- 46:24Speaker 1: be on a Different World because Lisa Bona, Jasmine Guy,
- 46:26Speaker 1: Marissa Tormey, etc. I wanted to be on Uh. I
- 46:31Speaker 1: wanted to be on Say By the Belt obviously because
- 46:36Speaker 1: of Lark four Heaths, Lisa Turtle. I wanted to you
- 46:38Speaker 1: know what I mean, Like you go down the list,
- 46:40Speaker 1: The Jeffersons. I don't know why I wanted to be
- 46:42Speaker 1: on that show. Somebody told me when I was a
- 46:44Speaker 1: kid that I looked like Sherman Hemsley, who was the
- 46:47Speaker 1: star of The Jeffersons. And from that moment on I
- 46:51Speaker 1: was like, well, let me check out what this dude.
- 46:52Speaker 1: Let me check out what this dude does, and which
- 46:55Speaker 1: would What was really awesome, which when I was doing
- 46:58Speaker 1: Clueless to Tell Vision show, Sherman Hemsley was doing Amen
- 47:03Speaker 1: at the time and it was on the same Paramount
- 47:07Speaker 1: lot and they asked me, they were like, we're gonna
- 47:09Speaker 1: have somebody come in to play your grandfather. Is there
- 47:12Speaker 1: anybody you want? And I was like, you gotta get
- 47:15Speaker 1: Sherman Hemsley. You can get If you can get Sherman
- 47:18Speaker 1: Hemsley my whole life. I was told I look like
- 47:21Speaker 1: George Jefferson. If you can get this man up in
- 47:25Speaker 1: here to play my grandfather would be the best day ever.
- 47:28Speaker 1: And he did it and it was awesome. A nice guy,
- 47:31Speaker 1: he was a great guy. He was such a nice
- 47:33Speaker 1: guy man. And uh, I remember just thinking to myself
- 47:37Speaker 1: at you know, at that moment, you know, I couldn't
- 47:40Speaker 1: be on the Jeffersons, but I somehow bought the Jeffersons
- 47:43Speaker 1: to me, and it was it was it was great.
- 47:45Speaker 1: That's kind of like what happened on Scrubs was John Ritner.
- 47:48Speaker 1: I was like, they were who could be your Dad,
- 47:50Speaker 1: I'm like, Oh, if you left it up to me,
- 47:51Speaker 1: there's no question it would be John Rinner right. So yeah,
- 47:54Speaker 1: Three's Company, as I've mentioned, was my favorite growing up.
- 47:56Speaker 1: I just I was on like every well while my
- 48:00Speaker 1: parents were making dinner. It was always it was the
- 48:03Speaker 1: show that was in syndication at like six or something.
- 48:05Speaker 1: We could watch it right before dinner. Um, Cheers was
- 48:09Speaker 1: a special one family ties. I loved Elf Alf What
- 48:16Speaker 1: are you doing? Elf? Max Right? I think he just
- 48:22Speaker 1: passed away? Didn't you pass away? Max? Right? I don't
- 48:25Speaker 1: know if you can you look that up for me.
- 48:27Speaker 1: I don't want to say someone's deceased if they're not.
- 48:30Speaker 1: Yeah right, past rest in peace, mass right. You brought
- 48:34Speaker 1: me a lot of laughter. Um, yeah, man, I I
- 48:38Speaker 1: love sitcoms. And if Donald's going by girls that had
- 48:40Speaker 1: crushes on it, definitely would have been Charles in Charge because,
- 48:43Speaker 1: oh my gosh, Nicole Eggert. Nicole Eggert and Charles in
- 48:48Speaker 1: Charge awakened feelings in me, in me, dude, I for
- 48:52Speaker 1: the first time ever. Not the first time ever, but
- 48:54Speaker 1: I knew. I had never watched the show. And my
- 48:57Speaker 1: buddy was an actor growing up. His name was Cameron Johan,
- 49:01Speaker 1: give a shout out to Cameron Johan and Johan, here's
- 49:03Speaker 1: your shout out and Susan Johan Cameron and how Johan's
- 49:06Speaker 1: been in a lot of movies. When I was a kid,
- 49:08Speaker 1: he was in a lot of movies. You can you
- 49:10Speaker 1: can look his name up and find him. His mother
- 49:13Speaker 1: was a photographer who took pictures, like head shot pictures,
- 49:17Speaker 1: So my first head shots were by his mom. Anyway,
- 49:20Speaker 1: I used to always go over to his house because
- 49:21Speaker 1: he would, you know, he was in to stop motion
- 49:23Speaker 1: animation when we were kids, and we would you know,
- 49:26Speaker 1: I was into that, and so we would, you know,
- 49:28Speaker 1: make movies together. One day he showed me a picture
- 49:31Speaker 1: because he had just gotten back from la and it
- 49:34Speaker 1: was a picture of him, Nicole Eggert, and two other people.
- 49:38Speaker 1: And this is prime Nicole. Were you thinking, like, I'm
- 49:41Speaker 1: gonna meet Nicole Eggert? I didn't know who she was.
- 49:45Speaker 1: But all of my buddies from the neighborhood came over
- 49:48Speaker 1: just to stare at this fucking picture the set just
- 49:52Speaker 1: to stare. This is before internet, this is before any
- 49:54Speaker 1: of that stuff. So they're all in his room looking
- 49:57Speaker 1: at this picture of him and three other people. But
- 50:00Speaker 1: kind of like an arm arm in arm hugging saying,
- 50:03Speaker 1: you know, this was a great summer whatever it was, right,
- 50:05Speaker 1: I did a movie with y'all. It was great. But
- 50:07Speaker 1: Nicole Eggert's in the picture, so we're all going fucking
- 50:10Speaker 1: nuts for it. And I'm like, who is this girl? Like,
- 50:13Speaker 1: she's on the show Charles in Charge, don't you know?
- 50:15Speaker 1: Right then and there, I looked for that show every
- 50:20Speaker 1: every day. I looked for that show to find it.
- 50:22Speaker 1: And then when I finally did find it and never
- 50:24Speaker 1: left my sight that one. And Who's the Boss? Same thing.
- 50:27Speaker 1: Somebody was like, Yo, there's this really cute girl, and
- 50:29Speaker 1: who's the boss? I was like, yeah, right, And they
- 50:31Speaker 1: showed me a picture of a Lissa Milano and I
- 50:34Speaker 1: was like, I got a watch. Who's the boss? Ye?
- 50:37Speaker 1: Alyssa Milana? Who married? Who married one of my agents?
- 50:42Speaker 1: That's cool? They booked me are so I said, Wow,
- 50:44Speaker 1: you married America sweetheart? Um wait, I wanted to say
- 50:48Speaker 1: something else when you said Nicole Leggar. That was Nicole Eggert. Oh,
- 50:52Speaker 1: she auditioned for Scrubs. She was almost on Scrubs. Get
- 50:55Speaker 1: out of here? Do you remember? It was one of
- 50:58Speaker 1: the love interests, and I was like, oh my god,
- 51:00Speaker 1: you guys have I think Bill ended up choosing someone
- 51:04Speaker 1: else for some reason, but she was great and beautiful,
- 51:06Speaker 1: and I just remember being like, um, all right, what
- 51:18Speaker 1: do you guys have another question for us? As you recall,
- 51:22Speaker 1: the show almost changed to a one question show, but
- 51:24Speaker 1: Donald led a revolt. Well you marshaled them, you were
- 51:30Speaker 1: definitely what's that you marched with them? What's the thing
- 51:34Speaker 1: that the band leader has like a baton? Yeah? Definitely?
- 51:38Speaker 1: Yeah right, I was a flag carrier? Absolutely, go ahead, guys. Um, well,
- 51:45Speaker 1: it was more like advice, I guess. So we alope
- 51:49Speaker 1: two days ago. Our parents and a few close friends
- 51:52Speaker 1: know about it, but we haven't told anyone else yet.
- 51:56Speaker 1: And I guess it was just the best way to
- 51:58Speaker 1: go about telling people that now I'm married. Oh wow,
- 52:04Speaker 1: I'll tell you. This is Melbourne's favorite segment. I think
- 52:10Speaker 1: we just got into it. Then it's time for Melbourne
- 52:13Speaker 1: and Tasmania's favorite segment. It's time too fix You're all right.
- 52:24Speaker 1: I think there's nothing beats a funny video. I mean,
- 52:27Speaker 1: and the trick is, what's the funny video gonna be? Donald?
- 52:30Speaker 1: I don't know what the creative one. You know, video
- 52:36Speaker 1: improv isn't my specialty. But let me think, Um, is
- 52:40Speaker 1: there something you guys could do or something that inside
- 52:44Speaker 1: joke with all of your friends and family that they
- 52:46Speaker 1: would know about you guys, so they might think the
- 52:49Speaker 1: video is is, um, you guys doing something they know
- 52:54Speaker 1: you love. Let's say it's fishing or something. So you
- 52:56Speaker 1: start fishing and then there's a big reveal. No, we're
- 53:00Speaker 1: not gonna fidgits, we're married, you know what I mean? Like, no,
- 53:04Speaker 1: I mean, that's a horrible example. And and I'm just saying,
- 53:07Speaker 1: like you you fake everybody out by saying like, um,
- 53:12Speaker 1: this is gonna be one thing, and then you throw
- 53:15Speaker 1: it up. Did you wear a dress? A white dress? Yeah?
- 53:18Speaker 1: It is okay, so I would definitely the white dress
- 53:20Speaker 1: should probably come back and be on you make the video?
- 53:23Speaker 1: What do you guys think? Uh, Daniel, Joel, Joel, what
- 53:27Speaker 1: are your thoughts on this? Oh my gosh. Okay, so
- 53:29Speaker 1: you need to tell all of your friends that you
- 53:32Speaker 1: got married in a video. Do you guys post a
- 53:37Speaker 1: social media a lot? Yeah? I mean I mean occasionally, yeah, okay, fairly, Okay,
- 53:43Speaker 1: that's enough. That's that's good. And what kind of content
- 53:46Speaker 1: are you typically posting? Um, I guess normally like couple
- 53:53Speaker 1: fighters fighters. So like, here's an example. Let's say you
- 53:56Speaker 1: guys go out on a boat in where you're in.
- 53:59Speaker 1: You're in, you said you're what's no? They said, it's
- 54:02Speaker 1: island north of Tasmania. Yeah, Flinders Island, Flanders like like Simpsons,
- 54:10Speaker 1: yeah Flenders. All right, I'm say all right. So here's
- 54:13Speaker 1: here's an example. Like you started a video. Um, this
- 54:17Speaker 1: is a bad example. Okay, it's the first pitch. You know.
- 54:20Speaker 1: This is like in the writer's room they go, okay,
- 54:22Speaker 1: bad idea. But just listen. You're on a you're filming
- 54:26Speaker 1: yourself um um Paul, and you're and you're like, oh,
- 54:30Speaker 1: we're so excited. We gotta we chartered this little boat
- 54:33Speaker 1: today and there's the captain and he's nice and and
- 54:35Speaker 1: it's so beautiful. Look at that. Oh and honey, honey,
- 54:38Speaker 1: do you want to say hi? And you pan around.
- 54:40Speaker 1: She's in the full wedding dress. But she's like on
- 54:42Speaker 1: the bow of the boat and you're like, what are
- 54:46Speaker 1: you doing? Why would you be wearing that, sweetheart? Because
- 54:49Speaker 1: we got married, you know, something like that. Or it's
- 54:52Speaker 1: like things are normal, just a vacation. Look how pretty
- 54:55Speaker 1: it is? Wait, reveal she's in her dress? And the more,
- 54:59Speaker 1: the more, the is the opposite of something you'd wear
- 55:02Speaker 1: a white wedding dress to the better. Like if you
- 55:04Speaker 1: guys were, like, you know, in the water pulling up oysters. Yeah,
- 55:10Speaker 1: if you're chumming for sharks in the white dress, Yes,
- 55:13Speaker 1: chatting for sharks. We're so excited, we're we're we're for
- 55:18Speaker 1: chumming for sharks and we've never done this before. It's
- 55:21Speaker 1: such a cool life experience, even though you have to
- 55:22Speaker 1: have blood on your hands. Honey, are you having a
- 55:24Speaker 1: good time pan around in the wedding dress chumming for sharks?
- 55:29Speaker 1: I don't think that. I don't. I don't be amazing,
- 55:31Speaker 1: although although I just I just I just I just
- 55:33Speaker 1: told you I used to watch this documentary about about
- 55:36Speaker 1: not harming fish. But anyway, I know there's also if
- 55:40Speaker 1: you are on a boat with a captain, I'm on
- 55:42Speaker 1: one of you, one of you have to walk up
- 55:44Speaker 1: to the captain and say, look at me, I'm the captain.
- 55:50Speaker 1: Now one of you to do it? What about this?
- 55:52Speaker 1: What of you have to do it? What about that's good? Wait?
- 55:55Speaker 1: I'm just building off of you. Donald. Um, the captain,
- 55:59Speaker 1: Captain's gonna we've a by the way, I'm sorry if
- 56:01Speaker 1: you guys can't afford it. We've already committed to you
- 56:02Speaker 1: chartering a boat. It could be a small boat, could
- 56:09Speaker 1: not not a dinghy, but you know I do not
- 56:11Speaker 1: have like a bedroom. It could be one of the
- 56:12Speaker 1: small fishing boat. But anyway, let's say, um, all right,
- 56:17Speaker 1: so the captain's filming you, Paul, and you're driving the
- 56:19Speaker 1: boat like, look, guys, we ranted a boat for the day,
- 56:21Speaker 1: Like how fun this is? And then all of a sudden,
- 56:24Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I forgot your name, Laura. All of a sudden,
- 56:29Speaker 1: Laura steps up in the wedding dress and she says,
- 56:32Speaker 1: I'm the captain now, which is true. Donald, Right once
- 56:37Speaker 1: you get married, I'm sorry, miss a rap Doug. You know,
- 56:43Speaker 1: I know you like to think you in charge of stuff,
- 56:45Speaker 1: but i'll tell you right now it's not like that.
- 56:47Speaker 1: But Donald was saying lots of benefits to being married,
- 56:50Speaker 1: which I won't repeat, but you'll hear when you hear
- 56:51Speaker 1: the show back. Donald's saying, there many, many, many glorious
- 56:54Speaker 1: benefits of being married. Yea earlier in the broadcast, there
- 56:58Speaker 1: are quite a few benefits to being married. Um, all right,
- 57:01Speaker 1: so that's my basic idea, guys, is that I got nothing.
- 57:06Speaker 1: I'm gonna be honest with you. I would just call
- 57:07Speaker 1: all your friends up and be like, hey, guys, we
- 57:11Speaker 1: didn't invite you because of COVID. We love you all,
- 57:15Speaker 1: and we hope to throw the biggest party when when
- 57:18Speaker 1: it's when we can and you guys can all be
- 57:21Speaker 1: invite you guys will all be invited to it. But
- 57:24Speaker 1: we're married. It would be fun to get a FaceTime
- 57:27Speaker 1: call from a friend randomly and just be like in
- 57:30Speaker 1: the wedding dress and ship and be like, hey, guess what, like,
- 57:33Speaker 1: oh my god, what even happened? Oh? Man? But I
- 57:36Speaker 1: think I think you know, after like ten times, you
- 57:38Speaker 1: get tired of that, So have a backup video for
- 57:41Speaker 1: all the other friends. You know. I disagree with Donald
- 57:43Speaker 1: Donals idea is boring. My idea. You can make it bespoke.
- 57:51Speaker 1: You don't have to rent the boat. But I'm saying
- 57:52Speaker 1: if I would laugh if you were my friends and
- 57:55Speaker 1: Paul comes on and he's showing me or posts on
- 57:59Speaker 1: social or whatever, and he's doing something that everyone does
- 58:02Speaker 1: look at the view and we're stoked to be on
- 58:04Speaker 1: this vacation. And then there's a funny, shocking reveal of
- 58:07Speaker 1: Laura and a wedding dress. I would be like, oh shit,
- 58:10Speaker 1: I would love that. That sounds like they like it too, Yeah,
- 58:15Speaker 1: they don't like your boring Donald's ideas. What if you
- 58:17Speaker 1: just call everyone? No, that's not why they fucking came
- 58:20Speaker 1: on the show. I'm just trying to save the money.
- 58:24Speaker 1: You're trying to freaking break them before they They don't
- 58:26Speaker 1: have to get a fucking yacht, bro, they can get
- 58:28Speaker 1: a glorified dingy casey. What do you think of my idea?
- 58:32Speaker 1: I a great boy. I love it all right, Well
- 58:39Speaker 1: they can say, you guys can stay on because we're
- 58:40Speaker 1: almost done with the show, right Donald, Yes, do you
- 58:43Speaker 1: guys watch this episode? By the way, my hypocritical I mean,
- 58:46Speaker 1: you're on your honeymoon, so you're not gonna watch the
- 58:47Speaker 1: Scrubs episode. But we're doing my hypocritical oath and this
- 58:52Speaker 1: is the one where j D falls. JD gets jungle
- 58:55Speaker 1: fever big time in this episode. Are you still lowing
- 58:58Speaker 1: to say jungle fever? I can say, Joel, am I
- 59:01Speaker 1: allowed to say done. It doesn't feel right coming out
- 59:03Speaker 1: of my lips. In it doesn't feel right. Stay away
- 59:06Speaker 1: from it. It's a messy terms, it's messy. Okay, I
- 59:10Speaker 1: can say that Donald can, he says he can. I'm
- 59:13Speaker 1: not going to. But this was an episode where I
- 59:17Speaker 1: have a fever of the sort that Donald mentioned, of
- 59:29Speaker 1: the variety of the aforementioned variety, right, and then uh
- 59:34Speaker 1: and and not only you're the worst wing man ever
- 59:37Speaker 1: in You come in and you get geeked out that
- 59:41Speaker 1: he played for Seton Hall, which is my hometown by
- 59:43Speaker 1: the way, South Orange. And then you you walk out
- 59:46Speaker 1: because you want to talk about Seton Hall. Yeah, Seton Hall.
- 59:49Speaker 1: At one point, Seton Hall was a big, big, big,
- 59:51Speaker 1: big deal, dude. It was when I was in high
- 59:54Speaker 1: school and all of a sudden, Seaton Hall became like
- 59:57Speaker 1: the team. Yeah, a few, quite a few players come
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: out of Seaton Hall. No, but I mean like they
- 1:00:04Speaker 1: were always in the uh what do you call it?
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: That they were always in the top, they were always
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: in the tournament, right, But but one year they all
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: of a sudden, we're like winning in shock because it
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: was our local little school. Yeah, it's amazing. Um um.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: So he has gonna Ria. I didn't know gonna Ria
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: made your niece swell up. It must it must be
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: a side effect because we mentioned I thought it was
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: like is like, I mean, this dude is like a
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: man who are gross because it's kind of hard to
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: get gunna rea. I think in twenty twenty one, isn't it.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: I don't know. This wasn't twenty twenty one. Sorry, wow,
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: whatever it is two thousand and five, I still like,
- 1:00:40Speaker 1: I don't think Gunnaia is like growing on trees. He was.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: He was having a dirty sex. He was, he was.
- 1:00:48Speaker 1: He was putting his peep in dirtiness. There you go,
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: there we go. That's that's that's you guys don't have
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: to face that problem anymore because you're married. But um
- 1:00:57Speaker 1: a single man. But that's it was really interesting though.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: He would was willing to be with this girl and
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: lie to the girl that he wasn't sleeping with, that
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: he was just dating and not really dating honorably. He
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: wanted to keep that going so he could have his moment,
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: his one moment, and didn't say piece out to her
- 1:01:15Speaker 1: pretty much. Oh I know why, I laughed, Donald, you
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: come in the room, Turk comes in the room, and
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: he goes and he's trying to be the best wing
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: man ever, and he goes, Hey, the soup kitchen you
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: volunteer at called uh and then yeah, and then you
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: get all obsessed with Seaton Hall and then all you
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: want to talk about Seton Hall. And I'm like, but
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: did the did the soup kitchen where I volunteer have
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: any messages for me? Yeah? Yeah, they got that soup going. No,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: you were like, you know what, You're like, they're out
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: of brass anyway, Seton Hall. That's why you say you're
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: the worst wing man ever. In real life, I'm not
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: the worst one. By the way, we stole the Beverly
- 1:01:55Speaker 1: Hills cop joke because I go, we need to solve
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: this or things might stop. I'd start falling off of you. Um,
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: but that's taken right from Beverly Hills Corp. Remember when
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: he goes take to tell that Raman, the fella that
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: he met at the clinic, tell him that I have
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: a purpose, simple ten ten, And I think he needs
- 1:02:17Speaker 1: to get himself checked out before the thing stops falling
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: off to the man, I think you should tell him yourself,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: you know, I think that would best tell Victor that
- 1:02:35Speaker 1: Ramon ram the fella that he met at the clinic,
- 1:02:44Speaker 1: you know that with him. I just want to know
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: if Eddie had that locked and loaded or if he
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: just did it on the day. But that ship was
- 1:02:52Speaker 1: hilarious because he walked in and the guy looks at him, sting,
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: I help you, and he's sitting there like that, and
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: then he burned up into And it's right after he
- 1:03:03Speaker 1: pulls up his car to the valet and he goes,
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: can you put this car in a good spot because
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: all this shit happened last time I parked here. Because
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: he's trying to that beat up car. Oh sorry, anyway, anyway,
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: he stole the joke. He's stile the joke from them.
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: You know, I think that would be bed Um. All right,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: So the janitor has this whole thing with well it's
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: a half kitten, half monkey that he's right, he's petting
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: an invisible animal, and coxes, what are you petting? It's Leonard,
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: He's half kitten, half monkey. Neil had some crazy improbms
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: in this episode. Yes here I wrote some of them down.
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: He goes um because because he Cox ruins um success
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: for him, and the ending of that and then and
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: then so he's worried he's gonna get back at him
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: racing or ruining the score of the basketball game. So
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: then Janner's like, um, I want you to do surgery
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: on me so I can breathe underwater. It's like no, no,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: He's like, I want a shark that can read minds. No,
- 1:04:11Speaker 1: It's like no, I want to trade lives for a year.
- 1:04:14Speaker 1: He's like no, no, Uh, these are all improps. Yeah,
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: it had to be able, you know, I mean, God
- 1:04:20Speaker 1: knows what Neil what else Neil said that got cut out,
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: but it was just riffing random shit. Um JD goes
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: to a place in his mind called planet Glorianac seven
- 1:04:30Speaker 1: that has no hippocratic oath. And how does and how
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: does Elliot know about the said planet. I'm sure that
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: he has mentioned, maybe during some of their love making,
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: planet Gloria seven. And she recognized the look right away,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: like are you at Gloria seven? Yeah, well she's you know,
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: we've been quite intimate, so she recognizes when I'm you know,
- 1:04:49Speaker 1: daydreaming I'm on a non existent planet. Maybe we even
- 1:04:53Speaker 1: role played, like let's pretend we're on Gloriac seven and
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: you're like an alien being. We know, we know Elliot's
- 1:04:59Speaker 1: down all always down for role play. How about yes
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: she is? Remember when I was the Mexican apple thief? Yes?
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: How about Bill dis thing Sarah's hair? Bye bye? Bill
- 1:05:10Speaker 1: loves to take swipes of people, but put it in
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: the script when he says that Sarah looks like John
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: Denver I lugged up? He says, yes, what is it?
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: Someone says to her? Is it Kelso or Cox? Someone
- 1:05:25Speaker 1: says that you got a John Denver air cut? That's
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: that's uh, that's Kelso. That says that to her after
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: she's after he's given her a compliment by calling her
- 1:05:37Speaker 1: his colleague, and it means a lot to her, right right,
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: she gets stoked. But uh, you know, we learned that
- 1:05:44Speaker 1: Kelso hates his colleagues, and then we learned that Kelso
- 1:05:48Speaker 1: also hates the hospital once he finds out that Turk's
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: going home to have sex, Yes with all the coats, Yes, Like,
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: what in the hell are you doing? I'm going to
- 1:05:57Speaker 1: have sex? Why does it? I hate this play? All right,
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: you're so funny and you're like sitting there bopping up
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: and down because you're can't wait now wouldn't Turk know
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: what Carlo's coat looks like. He just brings them all.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: He's just trying to get out the hospital. Yeah, he's like,
- 1:06:12Speaker 1: you just pick one and we go. Let's go. Yeah.
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: I imagine Turk just throws all the other codes on
- 1:06:16Speaker 1: the ground. The minute she says that's mine, he's like
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: that wasn't been funny. They should have showed that, like,
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: that's your coat, all right, throw these for the ICU ready,
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: um and then um so Kylie comes back and she's
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: it's been revealed that her her boyfriend is now her
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: ex boyfriend. And then we have a sort of flirty
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: vibe and then Craig Zisk, the director, does this cool
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: thing where the doors close and then the heart of
- 1:06:45Speaker 1: Sacred Heart is right around us. That was that was
- 1:06:48Speaker 1: that was really cool. Actually clever, good work, Craig, very
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: very very clever. Um. So it was a good episode.
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: The woman who's upset that I sometimes this episodes. This
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: was a good one this time. Yes. May the fourth,
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: by the way, is when Joelle and Donald's Star Wars
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: podcast debuts. How many episodes will be dropping on May
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: fourth one? Okay, it's gonna be like a weekly thing. Yes,
- 1:07:14Speaker 1: well that's very exciting. May the Fourth um, you'll you'll
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: you know you remember because May the Fourth be with you.
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: It's Star Wars Day. By the way, I sent you,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: guys a bunch of funny TikTok things in the chat.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: None of you respond respond didn't Yeah I did. I
- 1:07:28Speaker 1: could show it to you right now. I had a
- 1:07:30Speaker 1: little bit of jazz cabbage last night, and I'm sitting
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: there watching these funny TikTok videos and I sent him
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: to the group chat. No one replies, I did. It
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: hurts my feelings, guys, I did. I'm sorry we responded
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: to the dope documentary. I'm not on TikTok and I
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: was not prepaid. Well you, even if you're on not
- 1:07:45Speaker 1: on TikTok, you can click on a TikTok link and
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: go ah, that is funny, zacht llol, heart and emoji.
- 1:07:52Speaker 1: I just send you the mole without watching. I don't know.
- 1:07:56Speaker 1: I didn't understand this one, So that one's hilarious. The
- 1:07:59Speaker 1: guy's going he's talking about how the soundtrack, the Phil
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Collins score to that Disney movie, which one was Yeah.
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: He says like he's like, did Phil Collins know that
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: He did not have to bring it like this. He's like,
- 1:08:16Speaker 1: did no one tell Phil Collins this is a movie
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: about a child raised by apes? No, he did not
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: have to go this. Hardie Collins was coming out of
- 1:08:26Speaker 1: the womb and then you will Be in My Heart
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: just burst forth out of Phil Collins and it was amazing.
- 1:08:31Speaker 1: And I have never seen that movie. But the guy
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: was going crazy about how that soundtrack is amazing, and
- 1:08:39Speaker 1: he's like, did no one tell Phil Collins soundtrack? I
- 1:08:43Speaker 1: know that I know the big hit, but I don't
- 1:08:44Speaker 1: know you be in my heart? You need to hear
- 1:08:47Speaker 1: the whole. It is a percussive masterpiece. Had a whole
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: Broadway musical. Oh my god, art. I think I'm gonna
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: have to replace do Elipa with Phil Common. No, no, no, no,
- 1:09:02Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you something right now. That do Elipa
- 1:09:04Speaker 1: song is still bopping me, dude. Although I'm not gonna
- 1:09:10Speaker 1: judge you and you with somebody else as long as
- 1:09:14Speaker 1: you swear you won't get pissed when I do it myself,
- 1:09:16Speaker 1: let in it like we should and say we're good.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: I'm so tired. I'm sorry. Yeah, but I just don't
- 1:09:23Speaker 1: like no offense to do it, do it? I love you.
- 1:09:26Speaker 1: I just not that you listen to the podcast, but
- 1:09:27Speaker 1: I don't really love the lyric We're no good together,
- 1:09:31Speaker 1: like sleeping in cocaine. I feel like you could have
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: found it better. Similarly, it's we're not meant to be
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: like sleeping. We're not meant to be like sleeping in cocaine.
- 1:09:41Speaker 1: Like that's like, okay, first passy. I was pitching, pitching
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: wedding eyed video ideas, but I'm gonna say, okay, let's
- 1:09:46Speaker 1: just throw some ideas out there. I feel like idea
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: one on the whiteboard was like, okay, sleeping in cocaine.
- 1:09:50Speaker 1: Those don't go well together. Let's okay. Anybody have any
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: other ideas? And everyone was like, no, do it. Whatever
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: you think is great, And they were like, okay, send
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: the song I'm sleeping in we gain well. I will
- 1:10:00Speaker 1: say this. I will say this. That song is banging.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: It's amazing. I love that song. If you love girl pop,
- 1:10:06Speaker 1: that song is fire talented. Yeah, all right, we should
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: probably in this. We're gonna go. We love you all, Um,
- 1:10:13Speaker 1: what are our goodbye messages? Joel? You can still watch

- 1:10:47Speaker 1: We'll tell me to break a leg. Break a leg, Zach,
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: go get it, make it happy. You know what I
- 1:10:52Speaker 1: just over on the internet, and I don't know if
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: it's even true. You guys, can you listeners can google
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: when we hang up. But that the expression break a
- 1:11:01Speaker 1: leg comes from if when someone's auditioning, if they break
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: a leg, they'll be put into a cast. Oh, I
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: want it to be true. I don't care if it's
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: real or not. I want it to be Sue, is
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: that not mind blowing. I've been an actor since I
- 1:11:18Speaker 1: was twelve years old. I never heard that. I don't
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: know if it's true. For all, I know it's a lie,
- 1:11:23Speaker 1: but I love it. And on that note, six seven,
- 1:11:27Speaker 1: eight stories about Shure we made about a bunch of
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: doctor nurses and can I said, he's a stories never
- 1:11:39Speaker 1: should know. So Gatto around you here, are Gato around
- 1:11:45Speaker 1: you here. M hmm.
