- 1:32We're going first round Offensive players.
- 1:34We ready. Let's go.
- 1:36Come on, let's go. Throw it out.
- 1:37Throw it out. All right, Speedy, I want you to
- 1:40put on the NFL music and we're going to get into this preview
- 1:45right now for the NFL draft. So the way we're going to do
- 1:52this guys we're going to I broke down the the Top 40 of and
- 1:58Speedy helped out of the Dane Bruegler, The athletics, the
- 2:03Beast Guide. It's the most comprehensive
- 2:04guide out there. I have a subscription to the
- 2:06Athletic. That guy's been the best in the
- 2:07business in my opinion, past five years.
- 2:09Here's I we just took those prospects and we're going to go
- 2:13through them in different categories.
- 2:14We're going to start tonight. If we get that music a little
- 2:17louder, it's top 10 picks. So here's the four guys that
- 2:22we're going to start our conversation with and I'm going
- 2:25to give you the rankings that he has as the best players in his
- 2:28big board. So what he thinks they would be
- 2:30overall ranked at Jeremiah love #2, Fernando Mendoza #3, Spencer
- 2:38Fano, the tackle from Utah, right tackle from Utah #8 and
- 2:43Carnell Tate, the wide receiver from Ohio State at #10 Let's
- 2:48start, however, with Mendoza. As we all know he's going to be
- 2:52a number one pick. Errol.
- 2:54I love Mendoza. I think he's going to be a great
- 2:56player in the NFL. It doesn't matter where he goes.
- 2:59I think he has that potential. We saw what he did with Indiana
- 3:03this year, national championship, Miami, playing
- 3:06against the team that he rooted for in his hometown, his home
- 3:09city, Miami, and doing it in front of everybody.
- 3:12I think this guys a slam dunk. He is going to go to the
- 3:15Raiders. He's going to be the number one
- 3:16pick. He's going with I, I, I'll say
- 3:18this, Clint is a good coach. He's a young goal offensive
- 3:21coordinator. They're going to bring in Kirk
- 3:23Cousins. Kirk Cousins is going to help
- 3:25him develop. I, I think it's a great pick for
- 3:27the Raiders. I think it's a slam dunk.
- 3:29Yeah, he's a surefire guy. When you look at even though he
- 3:31didn't only started the one year at the highest level, he still
- 3:33started a couple years of Cal as well, bumped around college
- 3:37football. Like he definitely has the
- 3:38adversity factor. You need not just not as much
- 3:40with the physical traits, but still can extend plays.
- 3:42And I think he's going to with a coach in the Raiders, with Clint
- 3:45Kubiak. That's been around a lot of
- 3:46different quarterbacks, obviously this year, his peak.
- 3:48But he was with the 49ers, with Purdy.
- 3:50He was with the Vikings for a little while when Cousins was
- 3:53there, when he first got there, remember, he had that really bad
- 3:54first year and then Kubiak got there.
- 3:56Makes a difference. I think Mendoza will be a very
- 3:58instant impact player in this league.
- 4:01Yeah, I'm gonna say I think he yeah, definitely going number
- 4:04one overall, but I don't think it plays out the way that we are
- 4:08anticipating to pay out. I think the Vegas is just a
- 4:11shame of itself. They all over the place.
- 4:14Obviously they did get some stability with hiring some new
- 4:16coaches and some new advisors with Kirk Cousins doing over the
- 4:20quarterbacks and whatnot. But I just don't see their Vegas
- 4:23going anywhere fast anytime soon.
- 4:26So I'm going to say that it's going to it's going to be no
- 4:28more pick, but he probably take about two to three.
- 4:30I think he's like a Cam war situation in Tennessee where you
- 4:33know, it takes some time for him to actually blossom into the
- 4:36league. I, I personally think he showed
- 4:39everyone everything you didn't need anyone needed to see in the
- 4:42playoffs this year. Undefeated ball, you know, guts
- 4:46clutch everything you want balls layered all three levels on the
- 4:50money. You know great ball placement as
- 4:53well on the on the receivers, not just in the area right on
- 4:56the money. This guy's for real.
- 4:58They they got a long way to go though.
- 4:59You're absolutely right too, but it's definitely a good start for
- 5:02sure. All right, next guy is Jeremiah
- 5:05Love, Errol. So Jeremiah.
- 5:08Jeremiah Love averaged 6.9 yards a carry both in 2024 and 2025
- 5:14and 40 touchdowns the past two seasons.
- 5:18They've saying he's the best running back coming out since
- 5:20Saquon Barkley. I think he might even be better
- 5:23than Saquon Barkley and Tennessee is definitely not
- 5:27going to skip on this guy. We know what Robert Sala likes
- 5:30to do. He likes to run the ball.
- 5:32Breeze Hole. We all know what he likes to do.
- 5:35I think this is a slam dunk for Tennessee.
- 5:37He's a great runner. He could catch the ball in the
- 5:40backfield. 280 yards receiving last year, 10.4 catch, 3
- 5:45touchdowns the other year before that 230 seven. 8.5 yards
- 5:50perception and two touchdowns. The guy is an unbelievable
- 5:54talent. Very nice kid.
- 5:56Play for Notre Dame. He thought he was robbed playing
- 5:59in that tournament last year, Miami snuck in, Miami win, went
- 6:02to that and made that run all the way to play Indiana in the
- 6:05championship game. But sensational player, I think
- 6:08he's going to be one of the best running backs we've seen come
- 6:11out of the draft in 10 years. Great power, speed, everything.
- 6:16Love them. Yeah, as good of an athletic
- 6:18profile you can get, as good of secondary moves as you can get.
- 6:20And you're saying Silva's good with the receiving game as well
- 6:23now? It'll be interesting.
- 6:24Obviously, the debate is always the running back versus the
- 6:27positional value type thing. And you saw that kind of take a
- 6:29hit with Ashton Genti last year. He started very slow with the
- 6:31Raiders and Qi. Think they were referring to
- 6:33that with the situation with the Titans earlier.
- 6:36Like, will that be able to fit if if the Titans are still just
- 6:38as bad? Their offensive line we know has
- 6:40had problems and I don't think anyone here trusts Bambi Sala as
- 6:43a head coach and Brian Dabel is an offensive coordinator, has
- 6:46been up. And so will they be able to use
- 6:48him correctly if they and being ones drafting, if they don't
- 6:50draft him, obviously there's a wild card if the Giants draft
- 6:52him. I don't want them to.
- 6:53But and you definitely see him in another offense, maybe the
- 6:56Chiefs. And if he goes there, maybe a
- 6:58good chance to explode. But he's gonna be a freak
- 6:59athlete no matter what. Yeah, I agree.
- 7:01I think he's a definitely a freak athlete.
- 7:03I'm thinking that he won't go top five with that four to
- 7:07Tennessee. I think he may, I think.
- 7:08The Titans will draft him, I just don't know if I would if I
- 7:11were them. I don't think they'll draft
- 7:12them. I think they probably going to
- 7:13go Francis and kind of team get a tackle for Cam, kind of have
- 7:17that camaraderie. Love falls down to seven with
- 7:19the Commanders. That's something that I'm
- 7:21thinking is going to happen is more so than he will go to the
- 7:24Tennessee. Ohio Statewide receiver,
- 7:27obviously a national champion of this year.
- 7:29The year before, most people looked at him as the second best
- 7:31wide receiver on his team, but that's not a slight to him.
- 7:34Here's some interesting stats. He's an outside receiver, an X
- 7:37receiver, 88.9% outside lined up.
- 7:42Brian Hartline Tons of success again the last year.
- 7:45Brian Hartline, that wide receiver factory at Ohio State,
- 7:49We all know all the names associated with him.
- 7:51Now listen to this. He caught 77% of his targets in
- 7:552025, which was the best of all receivers in college football
- 8:00with an average depth of target of 12 yards or more.
- 8:04He has the, what they're saying, some of the best hands anyone
- 8:07who's come into the draft has and runs really good routes and
- 8:12runs pretty well. He's going to be the first wide
- 8:14receiver off the board. There's no question that he is.
- 8:16We've heard what Paige said. She he's the one.
- 8:19He was the alpha male on the football field when they were
- 8:22looking at the wide receivers. He had 875 yards last year.
- 8:26He had 9 touchdowns, but he was in and out.
- 8:28He couldn't stay healthy. But the guy has tremendous
- 8:30hands, big, strong hands. They expect him to be an Odell
- 8:34Beckham type of player coming out of the draft, can run
- 8:37routes, do all the things that you want a wide receiver to do.
- 8:41A lot of people were saying the Giants were looking at him out
- 8:43#5 I think he falls out of the top five, but he's definitely
- 8:47going to be the first guy off the board.
- 8:48I definitely top ten. Love the kid.
- 8:51I think he's going to be a spectacular player in the NFL.
- 8:54Yeah, you mentioned the hands fish.
- 8:55It's going to be the biggest thing that'll make him impactful
- 8:57right away. Now I I think it's quickness is
- 9:00agility off the line of scrimmage and I'm trying to
- 9:02break the press. It's still kind of a concern for
- 9:04me. And you saw that in particular
- 9:06Big 10 matchups this year where Jeremiah Smith, if they were if
- 9:09he was being double teamed, Tate was being bracketed.
- 9:11And that wasn't where I I think the coaches have to figure it
- 9:14out whether drafts and whether there is the Giants or whether
- 9:16it is somebody else in the top 10.
- 9:18Because I do agree Arrow, if the if the Giants don't draft him,
- 9:20he could fall out of the top ten just because there's other
- 9:23positions available of the offensive line in the defense.
- 9:25But that's the only weakness I see in his game.
- 9:27He'll be a good receiver besides that, but just get quicker.
- 9:29Yeah, same here. I think that you guys covered it
- 9:31well in regards to him. I think he's outstanding, very
- 9:35fast, good hands. Like you said, it's Kate can
- 9:37catch the ball. If you just saw in the highlight
- 9:39right there versus Wisconsin, he went up and got the ball.
- 9:42So very aggressive receiver. You like to see that coming out,
- 9:45coming out of college and then just trying to train, just
- 9:48trying to train him on the mechanics and different things
- 9:50you need to learn to get past pro corners and whatnot.
- 9:53So I I don't think he'd go past the Giants.
- 9:55I think the Giants pick him and football Giants got him one.
- 9:59I I would love for them to get a guy like that and put them
- 10:03opposite neighbors. I think they need a lot.
- 10:04I don't know if I'd go wide receiver there.
- 10:06There's some other guys I'd like or I maybe trade back and take
- 10:09him. I have been saying that since
- 10:10the beginning. I'd like to see the Giants trade
- 10:12back, get an extra day two pick. They only have one day two pick
- 10:16it. It would make sense for them to
- 10:17do something like that and get Tate around 10.
- 10:20But look, you know, I think he's a better version of T Higgins.
- 10:24I think he's a a better, better hands version, physical
- 10:27receiver, but also physical at the catch point is the point,
- 10:31you know what I mean? And T Higgins is great, you
- 10:33know, radius and everything with the catch point.
- 10:35Maybe he doesn't have the same radius as Higgins, but he can
- 10:37do. You know, and you know, the
- 10:38Buckeyes, wide receivers, they all, they come to the NFL and
- 10:41they all succeed. Most of them succeed.
- 10:44So I like them. I think he's going to be good.
- 10:46All right, so let's talk about this last guy that we have here
- 10:49in the top ten and on these Q. These are the offensive lineman
- 10:54and I'm an offensive line coach in high school.
- 10:56You play defensive line in the NFL at elite level ACC football.
- 11:00If I don't know what I'm talking about, call me out please.
- 11:02But I'm watching this tape on Spencer Fano, the Utah right
- 11:06tackle, and I am not super impressed with what he does in
- 11:10the run game. It looks like he's a guy that
- 11:12has to play in the zone. Let me give you some of this
- 11:14stuff with him. You know, he was an immediate
- 11:16starter at left tackle as a true freshman.
- 11:18Move to right tackle the last two years.
- 11:20Became the 5th unanimous All American in school history.
- 11:23Pretty good athlete and fast out of his stance.
- 11:26He's pretty good in pass pro and that's good for the NFL.
- 11:29Has the type of knee bending, athleticism, all those things
- 11:32you want, but he's a little small and he gets manhandled a
- 11:36little bit by bigger guys and in the run game.
- 11:40I don't I don't like what I see when he pulls.
- 11:42It's not impressive. I think he needs to be a zone,
- 11:46like a inside outside zone type of scheme to be successful.
- 11:49It's a it's a situation fit. In my opinion, Errol Fono is the
- 11:54guy that people keep talking about as the one that it should
- 11:58be taken first, even though there's a lot of people who love
- 12:01what they saw out of Malanoa, who we'll talk about in a
- 12:03second. So from the playoffs.
- 12:05So his overall grade is an 83.9, which is 12th among qualified
- 12:10tackles in this year's draft. Pass blocking grade 81.5, run
- 12:14blocking grade 79.9, total pressures allowed, 50 sacks,
- 12:19zero hits. And by the way, he snaps 822 as
- 12:22an offensive tackle. Every single every single thing
- 12:26that you see when it comes to numbers, he's second team all
- 12:28America in 2025. He is an elite player, but like
- 12:32you said, Fish, he is small. There's a lot of questions to
- 12:35his length and can he do it consistently in the NFL with
- 12:39speed demons on the on the corners?
- 12:41That's the question. A lot of people are wondering if
- 12:43he's mean enough to play at that position at a high level.
- 12:46So that's my that's my point there.
- 12:49It's very weird with the type of player that he is.
- 12:51He's a pass first tackle in a run, very run heavy system that
- 12:55Kyle Whittingham had at Utah. A lot of good running backs
- 12:57outside of the year with Tyler Huntley, not a lot of great
- 12:59quarterbacks and fish. That's maybe where you're
- 13:01describing a lot of those maybe exotic run concepts he wasn't as
- 13:04good with outside of that one year with Huntley.
- 13:06And that's that's the thing. I don't think they should take
- 13:08him top ten because I think 8 is too high.
- 13:10I still like him. I think he'd still be good as a
- 13:12technique blocker. You saw that with a lot of these
- 13:14tackles that aren't as big. My goal, my goal is a little
- 13:17bigger, so he's going to be the opposite.
- 13:18He has to get the technique down.
- 13:19I think Fano has that already. He's a good mid first round pick
- 13:22for a team. I would not take him #8 I would
- 13:24not take him in the top 10. Yeah, I'm a double down on
- 13:28everything you guys said. I don't think he's the top ten
- 13:30pick at all. Fishy was correct on your
- 13:33analysis of in regards to him. He's kind of high fit, like you
- 13:38said, he's undersized. I don't think he's going to do
- 13:39well with NFL Prototype, the type of the DN and as rushes
- 13:44he's kind of stiff at the hip. So he's kind of one of those
- 13:46guys that kind of like you said, in the inside zone, it gets in
- 13:49the way and not necessarily have to physically head on block you.
- 13:53So from a scheme sense it depends on the team.
- 13:56It may make sense, but I definitely don't see top ten
- 13:59offensive line mentality. Yeah, Qi can't agree more with
- 14:03that. And just to wrap up on final, I
- 14:06don't know if you can take a guy like that who has to be a scheme
- 14:09fit in his own scheme in the top ten.
- 14:11I look if he starts slipping, but if he starts slipping, you
- 14:15know who wants this guy? Errol?
- 14:17It's Kyle Shanahan. This is what Shanahan does.
- 14:20He wants right tackles who run zone and he wants them to be
- 14:24good pass pro. He's really good at pass pro.
- 14:27He's gonna have a long career because of that.
- 14:29But in the run game, unless he's blocking left or right in combo
- 14:32with somebody, I don't think you really want him as an elite guy.
- 14:36And I don't think you can take him in the top 10 or really, you
- 14:39know, I think 15 you start. Talking about here's Here's the
- 14:42weird thing about that though. A lot of teams is going to the
- 14:453442 and the edge guys are only like 252 sixty.
- 14:51So that kind of weighs in his favor a little bit because
- 14:55you're not getting the 662627280 DNS no more.
- 15:00Everybody's going 626364230 to 2:50 type edge rushers, you
- 15:06know, pass rushers special. Guys are beasts.
- 15:10It's, I mean, look, it's the game's changing, you know, Yeah.
- 15:13That's what I'm saying. So it kind of kind of works in
- 15:15his favor in a little bit, even though we're more used to the
- 15:18traditional football formats in regards to what they, the
- 15:22offensive lineman look like versus their true DM all.
- 15:25Right, so let's get to this next grouping of players.
- 15:28We're going to stay with the online.
- 15:29Since we're talking about it, we might as well compare him to
- 15:31Malanoa because he's sitting here at 11.
- 15:34Then we have Ione from Penn State.
- 15:37I'm not even going to try to pronounce his first name.
- 15:39Speedy. If you know how to do it, go for
- 15:40it. He's the Penn State guard.
- 15:43He's expected to be the first guard taken.
- 15:46We'll get to him in a second. Monroe Freeling, the Georgia
- 15:49left tackle. He's the first left tackle they
- 15:51expect to take. Hayden Proctor, the Alabama left
- 15:55tackle. Then Caleb Lomu, the other Utah
- 15:58tackle opposite of Fano, is sitting there at 25.
- 16:04He would be a left tackle as well.
- 16:05So let's start with those guys and start specifically with the
- 16:10guy who may go ahead of Fono, which is Francis Mahanoa of
- 16:13Miami. Now Mahanoa, you know,
- 16:15three-year starter at Miami, he was a five star recruit, started
- 16:19from day one, started all 42 games in the last three seasons,
- 16:23consensus All American. This year, obviously they got to
- 16:26the championship game. He is a monster.
- 16:30He is huge. He is mean.
- 16:33He may have some issues though with some of the technical stuff
- 16:36and he may not be the most fluid athlete.
- 16:39I don't think it's going to be a problem for this kid.
- 16:41I think his size, playing over there in Miami, playing against
- 16:44Bain week in and week out on the practice field.
- 16:46One of the better defenses in the country.
- 16:48Got to see those behemoths all week, every week.
- 16:52Power run blocking. This guy's physically run
- 16:55blocker, strong leg drives, everything.
- 16:58This guy durable pass protection.
- 17:01He's known for his clean set. So this guy has everything.
- 17:04I think this guy is as good as anybody in this year's draft.
- 17:07You could put him at guard, you can put him at tackle, you can
- 17:09move them all over that. Elijah very Tucker was the kind
- 17:12of player like him. Elijah very Tucker couldn't stay
- 17:14healthy for The Jets. If this kid could play healthy,
- 17:17you can put him at any one of those positions except center
- 17:20and this guy will dominate. I love this kid.
- 17:22Yeah, the technique will, I think will come, but he's
- 17:23definitely got the size. He's got a decent. 6 by the way,
- 17:26and 315 lbs. Yeah, I think he still has
- 17:29decent enough lateral movement too.
- 17:30Now, again, the footwork, the raw hands, hand fighting, that's
- 17:34going to be another question. And he's got the strength.
- 17:36It's just going to be a matter of the technique.
- 17:38Q You mentioned it with Tennessee taking him at 4.
- 17:40We've seen the Titans do very well developing offensive line
- 17:42up until probably the last three years, obviously with Lawan and
- 17:46and Conklin in recent years. Michael Ruse or I think you
- 17:48played against Q, what at the time played very well over
- 17:51there. So they know what they're doing
- 17:52with offensive line. That's the pick I would make for
- 17:53them because they're not going to go anywhere either get the
- 17:55raw technique developed at that point.
- 17:57But I think athletically he's as good as anyone in this draft and
- 18:00I think he should go definitely top ten, maybe top five.
- 18:03Yeah, he's my pick over final. Yeah, he's definitely my pick
- 18:06over final. I I think this kid is aggressive
- 18:09and like you said, he does have some technical issues in regards
- 18:12to technique wise, but overall, you know, as far as physicality,
- 18:16what you look for a big physical can play to run can't pass
- 18:19protect. He has long arms, so that's
- 18:21going to be a problem for the airbrushes, especially this new
- 18:23day and age edge with the 242 sixty guys at 6064.
- 18:28He can lean on them, grab them, hold on to them and actually
- 18:32create holes for the running back and also pass protect.
- 18:35I think it goes forward with or is it 4 or 6 It's.
- 18:38Four with the Titans. Four with the Browns.
- 18:40The Browns? He's the first one up.
- 18:42The Browns would be fish. That was the one I was text you
- 18:44about. The Browns would be the one
- 18:45would be concerned with because then he gets to get coached by
- 18:47Bobby Johnson. Bobby Johnson.
- 18:52No, we know enough about Bobby Johnson in these parts of the
- 18:55town. Absolutely not.
- 18:57Look, Malino, what I wrote down just because I watched everyone,
- 19:01I think he's probably, you know, if it as a tackle, you kind of
- 19:05want him doing some of his own stuff.
- 19:07But if you put him in a guard, he might be the best guard in
- 19:11the NFL. And that's that's the thing.
- 19:14Because like, he's not a great lateral mover.
- 19:17But if you have him do short pulls and just wax guys on like
- 19:20pin poles and stuff like that, I mean, you're going to open up
- 19:23holes, bro. Like, there's no doubt.
- 19:25Reminds. Me.
- 19:25He's the run guy. Reminds me of Elijah Vertucker
- 19:28when The Jets drafted him he could play multiple positions
- 19:31that could put him at tackle. When he was over there at USC
- 19:33you could put him at guard. When he was at guard he was one
- 19:35of the best guards. Before he got hurt in all the
- 19:38football, PFF was saying that he was the best.
- 19:41So when you look at if he could stay healthy, this kids got the
- 19:45size of the ability to be the elite guard that a lot of people
- 19:48think he's going to be in the NFL.
- 19:50Curious to see what whoever drafts and what they decide to
- 19:52do with him because if he doesn't go in the top ten I'd be
- 19:55willing to bet teams will try him out of guard.
- 19:57If he's a top ten guy, they're not putting a guard.
- 19:58Unless it was the last guy. Quentin Nelson.
- 20:00I don't think he's Quentin Nelson.
- 20:01This next guy, Olivia Vega, Ione.
- 20:05From Penn State. Remember last year we were
- 20:07talking about Membu being the nastiest guy in the draft
- 20:10because every single piece of film he just finished and just
- 20:13was nasty to the guy and put him on the ground?
- 20:15Well, that's who this guy is this year, playing the guard
- 20:18position at Penn State. So 2 1/2 year starter Penn
- 20:21State. He lined up in left guard.
- 20:23He was past three seasons. 0 sacks allowed.
- 20:26Zero holding penalties in the past two seasons.
- 20:30He is excellent in pass protection.
- 20:32He's quick out of it, but he is super patient out of his stance.
- 20:35He's waiting to do a counter move on whatever the D lineman
- 20:37is doing to him because he's wide enough to stop it and
- 20:40strong enough to stop it anyway. And then in the run game, he is
- 20:44a Mueller, especially on down blocks.
- 20:47Oh my God. Q, You don't want to go against
- 20:49this guy if you're trying to slam inside.
- 20:52No way, Not a chance in hell. This is the guy that's going to
- 20:56be the best lineman in this draft in my opinion.
- 20:59He's strong, he's powerful, he can throw people around, He's
- 21:02huge and he's scary. I'm sure he speaks a lot.
- 21:06I remember the game against the docks where he was throwing
- 21:08Washington around defensive lineman.
- 21:10So he is a trim. He has tremendous torque, upper
- 21:13body strength. I expect this guy to be an elite
- 21:15player in the league no matter where they put him on the line.
- 21:18He's going to be fun to watch and he's going to be mean to
- 21:20watch wherever he goes. Yeah, This is a guy that's a
- 21:23road grader. He's been very good as an inside
- 21:25blocker for many of those Penn State running backs that have
- 21:27been there. They've had them drafted a lot.
- 21:29I think both of them are going even into this draft, too.
- 21:31And he's a big reason why at that.
- 21:33Very good and good pass Balker too.
- 21:35Just they didn't have great quarterbacks over there at Penn
- 21:36State or they had quarterbacks that got hurt already, so it
- 21:38didn't look as good. This is as good of a sure thing
- 21:41of an offensive lineman at the guard position.
- 21:45Yeah, overall talent, he's probably the best one, but man,
- 21:49like, you know, one, I'm retired so I would, I won't go against
- 21:52him, but he's mean. Like you turn on the tape, he's
- 21:57mean and he actually tries to kill out there.
- 22:00And that's something that you look forward to as an old line
- 22:03coach. I'm sure you fish, you can
- 22:05respect that. And he tries to finish it.
- 22:08He finishes the block, which is a key fact that let me know that
- 22:11you know, he's one of those guys that's going to be around for a
- 22:14while. More like the angry guys like
- 22:16the Trent Williams and things like that.
- 22:18It's like where they just go out there, they in a different
- 22:20mindset. They're trying to destroy you
- 22:23and it's fun to play against them when you're AD lineman.
- 22:25But if you don't know what you're doing, it could be a
- 22:29deadly day for you. So this is a thing that like is
- 22:32a football coach thing, a football player thing.
- 22:35When you watch a guy play and you make faces like this when he
- 22:37hit someone, that's the guy you want on your team and that's who
- 22:43he is, man. Like this is that guy.
- 22:45He's the one that's murdering everyone on the field.
- 22:47The Larry Allen type. You know that you want this guy
- 22:51should be the. I would take him ahead of both
- 22:54Bono and Malanoa. I think he's that good.
- 22:56He's the best guard coming out since Quentin Nelson.
- 22:59And I don't think it's close. He he I don't think.
- 23:01I mean, I'm not going to say anyone's Hall of Fame right off
- 23:03the bat like Hilton and Nelson's going to be, but he's got a good
- 23:06chance. The next guy I have here, Yeah,
- 23:09Go ahead. Q.
- 23:09Nah, yeah. I just think that with what's it
- 23:12called from Miami that made it deep into the playoffs, that's
- 23:15going to be an impact, you know, based off his success in the
- 23:18league. I think that's why guys haven't
- 23:20really picked up as much thing as defense that he didn't really
- 23:23do too much this year. Yeah, that that huge fall, you
- 23:26know, we talked about Franklin getting fired.
- 23:28You know, that definitely hurts that guy getting the exposure
- 23:31and mountain all about all the exposure, right?
- 23:33Let's talk about Monroe Freeling, the Georgia left
- 23:36tackle. He's a starter for 1 1/2 years
- 23:39at Georgia. He's ranked #17 here.
- 23:42Pretty balanced gap in zone scheme, running them both
- 23:46committed only one holding penalty in his eighteen starts.
- 23:48Whose all SEC this year. Only 9 pressures all season long
- 23:53and lanky but big enough frame. He has enough weight.
- 23:57He's quick out of his stance, like really quick out of his
- 24:00stance. And I have some notes on him
- 24:03that he is my favorite tackle in this draft.
- 24:06I like him better than all the other tackles.
- 24:09He has great size and balance with his lower half,
- 24:12specifically his upper half. He's got good placement, but if
- 24:16he gets a little thicker upper body strength, the feet, it
- 24:20always his feet first. And this guy I remember last
- 24:23year we're talking about, Joshua Simmons had the best feet in the
- 24:25draft. He was the last pick of the
- 24:26first round for the Chiefs or second last pick, whatever it
- 24:29was, and but he had injuries. This guy's got feet that are
- 24:33better than Josh Simmons and he's got a frame to grow into
- 24:37still. He's still figuring out how good
- 24:40he's going to be the Georgia left tackle.
- 24:41Georgia Bulldog SEC Plays at a high level, plays against high
- 24:46level teams year in a year out, full time starter, left tackle.
- 24:50You look for in a tackle to fill in a position.
- 24:53There are teams looking for that tackle.
- 24:55He's a very good one. He's big, he's strong, he bends
- 24:58very well. Everything I see about and when
- 25:01I read about him, he's very, very strong upper body and he's
- 25:05going to be able to bend in any kind of way against any of these
- 25:08top defensive lineman. So I I like him too.
- 25:11I don't know if he's the best tackle in this draft like you
- 25:13say he is, but he did play in the SEC, did play against top
- 25:17end talent. So when you look at all the
- 25:20other tackles and where they were playing, I would bet, I
- 25:23would bet on a Georgia guy. As we see there's there's a
- 25:26Georgia guy playing for your New York Giants.
- 25:28So he's been successful. So why couldn't Monroe Freeling
- 25:31so? Yeah, definitely good technique
- 25:33guy good. Like you said, Fish maybe has to
- 25:34get a little stronger up top, but I think his footwork is very
- 25:37strong. I think for a team that was more
- 25:39of a run heavy team, still could pass block very well.
- 25:42I think a 17th ranking is a very appropriate one for him.
- 25:45I would even I would even consider like if a team won an
- 25:47offensive lineman that's drafting before, that would
- 25:50still be a good pick for them. I think you got a lot of upside
- 25:52still and I think he could finish ahead of Fano where he
- 25:55is. I don't know if he's better than
- 25:56Malgo if Malgo plays tackle, but I think he definitely has the
- 25:59upside to get there. I think it'll take a little
- 26:01while, but I think he's got all the traits you need.
- 26:04Yeah, he's a, he's a, he's a technician man.
- 26:06I think one of the things that stood out to me as his hand
- 26:08placements and when you look at him and he's doing DNS body
- 26:13slamming them and then he's able to pass off of DN and and get
- 26:16the Taco that's wrapping around IQ level is at a different type
- 26:20of level. Very few offense alignment can
- 26:23pass off cleanly ADN and pick up AD Taco on a on A twist plate.
- 26:29So I I like them, man. I I think you know, fish, you're
- 26:33pretty good at this. You're doing pretty good
- 26:34tonight. You got that in 1000 tonight.
- 26:36But he's one of those. He's one of those guys.
- 26:39And I could, yeah, I would say he's probably the best offensive
- 26:41Taco on the distant night. I just like guys have good feet
- 26:46that just that's just me. If I know your feet are good and
- 26:50you can get a little bit more on that frame, how good are you
- 26:52going to be like I project growth from that guy.
- 26:54But then you again, I go back to the same thing.
- 26:56He's going to be going against guys at 636424260, so you know,
- 27:02to gain more weight may not pay for him in regards to being able
- 27:05to pass the check. All right, let's get to this
- 27:07next guy. So you said Errol and this it's
- 27:09funny that you mentioned the Giants had Georgia guy.
- 27:12Well, the Giants also had an Alabama guy.
- 27:15His name was Evan Neil and he still.
- 27:17Wasn't at work. There's an Alabama tackle here
- 27:20at #19 and his name is Kaden Proctor. three-year starter.
- 27:24He was the Jacobs Blocking Trophy award winner for the top
- 27:27blocker in the SEC this year, All America honors, you know,
- 27:30LED all Alabama players in snaps played with almost 1000 this
- 27:34year. You know, obviously very pass
- 27:36heavy offense in Alabama with grubs over it, with grub over
- 27:40there, very big. I'm sure you're not surprised
- 27:44because it's Alabama that he's a massive individual and you know,
- 27:48his size takes care of a lot of defenders at this level.
- 27:52But what do you think the problem is with the Alabama
- 27:55tackle? It's he's a little too big and
- 27:57doesn't have the best leverage and the best balance.
- 28:00And he gets over over in front of his skis, as they say, like a
- 28:03guy that I remember named Evan Neal.
- 28:07I like Kaden Proctor. I, I know he has excellent feet
- 28:10and agility. He's a big man.
- 28:11He's one of the bigger guys in this year's draft.
- 28:14I, I, he plays for Alabama again in SEC school.
- 28:17He plays against elite teams, elite players.
- 28:21Georgia's offensive line. I mean, I'm sorry, Alabama's
- 28:23offensive line was not good. That's why a lot of people say
- 28:26Ty Simpson should be higher in the draft than a lot of people
- 28:29think. But because of the talent that
- 28:31he had in front of him, he had no running game because his
- 28:33running backs got hurt. His wide receivers weren't 100%
- 28:36healthy. Kaden Proctor was fairly healthy
- 28:39all year. It wasn't his side that was
- 28:41getting crushed. It was the other side.
- 28:43I like Kaden Proctor. I don't know if he's a top ten
- 28:47talent offensively. I mean, Lemon should be there.
- 28:50Makai Lemon. I mean, he's going to fall out
- 28:52because of what he did at the combine, but I think he's a much
- 28:55better talent than half these offensive lineman.
- 28:57So he's going to fall. But this guy, the, the fact that
- 29:01you're putting all these offensive lines and offensive
- 29:03lineman in front of him, I beg to differ.
- 29:05I, I, I would say about two or three of these guys are not even
- 29:08going to be in the top ten offensive guys in this draft.
- 29:10Just my opinion. He's an odd one because I think
- 29:13his his traits as a bigger guy, being a pass blocking guy could
- 29:15be something that's encouraging, but I don't know if he had the
- 29:18great initial first step. His footwork is decent, but I I
- 29:20don't I think that some of those other speed rushers that you saw
- 29:22even in some of those other SEC games, I think gave him some
- 29:25trouble. Now what's interesting is he
- 29:27played both left and right tackle at certain points during
- 29:29his Alabama. I know that's what I think could
- 29:32be a good thing, but I think at 19 might be a little too high.
- 29:36I would consider as a late 1st Trump pick, Q, that might be one
- 29:39of the perfect system fit type guys and he gets that perfect
- 29:42combination because he does have the size to make it work.
- 29:45Yeah, maybe Kansas City at the back end of the first round of
- 29:4729 could definitely be an option.
- 29:49I think that's where I think it's more likely for him to go.
- 29:51I think if he goes in the middle of the first round and just
- 29:53trying to throw him to the fire. He goes with, if he goes to Andy
- 29:56Reid, this kid. Is going to be.
- 29:57This guy's going to be a beast. Yeah, it's over it.
- 30:00I can imagine the the the offensive plays that Andy's
- 30:04going to draw for him, not only just blocker wise, but if you go
- 30:07back and look at some of his tape, you know, he was stretched
- 30:09out and wide as a raw receiver. You know, he did a lot of
- 30:12Wildcat formations with Alabama as well that he plays so very
- 30:16athletic. I think he's top heavy.
- 30:18So obviously that's something that he's going to have to work
- 30:20on in the league, especially with everybody going to speed
- 30:24ends and edge rushers. So I think he had he would have
- 30:27to work on that in the league. But as far as like big play,
- 30:30making, big left tackle, being able to move, versatile and
- 30:35whatnot, I think he could. Obviously he got some technique
- 30:38issues that he need to work on, but for the most part, the kid
- 30:41is athletic. I still don't take them high.
- 30:45But like you said, if he fall down there, I think Andy, Andy
- 30:48Reid jumps on him immediately and he has a successful career
- 30:52for sure. Yeah, I feel the same way.
- 30:54Look, it's it's an Alabama guy. They're a little raw with their
- 30:58technique. If they get put with a good
- 31:00coach, they'll figure it out if they get put with Bobby Johnson
- 31:03to become Evan Neal. So that's the difference.
- 31:07Let's move on from this guy. I wouldn't take him to the end
- 31:10of the first round. I think at least Proctor, I
- 31:12think he's a project. Let's talk about the other Utah
- 31:15tackle and then we'll get into the receivers.
- 31:18So we have Caleb Lomu. So again, everyone talks about
- 31:22Fano, but Lomu played left tackle over there.
- 31:25Obviously Utah would, you know, pretty impressive offensive
- 31:29line. He's an above average athlete,
- 31:31you know, pretty good in pass protection, consistent with the
- 31:35snap mirrors guys. He's explosive out of his
- 31:40stance, except he can't stay on blocks at all.
- 31:44And I think he's going to be terrible.
- 31:46I don't think he's going to be good at all in the NFL.
- 31:50He reads stunts well. He can pick up stunts.
- 31:52That's better than Evan Neal ever did.
- 31:53So he might be better than Evan Neal, but I'll I'll tell you
- 31:57right now, you watch a guy who's going to slip off blocks even
- 32:01when he's in zone, he doesn't really get into guys.
- 32:03He has to be in his own scheme. Whereas Fano would be better in
- 32:07his own scheme. This guy has to be in his own
- 32:10scheme. I can't feel him being
- 32:11successful at all where he has to be tough against somebody.
- 32:14But again, if you have that like kind of quick offense, you're
- 32:16going to be real pass heavy. You take this guy, but if you
- 32:20take him in the first round, I think that's a misuse of assets.
- 32:23Size problem needs to put on some weight, but I'm reading
- 32:27right here he needs to put on a significant amount of weight if
- 32:30he wants to be an elite player at this level.
- 32:33And also he's got some power. He played for Utah, he played at
- 32:37a high level. But his again, when you look at
- 32:40the strength and position and look at all some of these guys
- 32:43that are are fighting and moving up in this year's draft, he's
- 32:47one of those guys. When you look at his size,
- 32:48they're moving down. I do not believe he's a top 10
- 32:52offensive guy in this year's draft.
- 32:54Offensive tackle. Guard, maybe.
- 32:57If he moves the guard, he might have a longer career in the NFL
- 33:00as a tackle. Not a chance.
- 33:02He's he's got to put on a lot of weight.
- 33:04He's got to put on at least 3040 lbs.
- 33:06Yeah, this is definitely a second round grade.
- 33:07I don't I don't even think any system could make it justify to
- 33:10work work a first round pick. He's got too much issues with
- 33:13good edge rushers. I think they were saying that
- 33:15like Texas Tech was the best defense he faced and had his
- 33:18worst game in his career and he just shows.
- 33:20You were saying about last year with the Gremble that the Big 12
- 33:24competition overall for defenses are not very good.
- 33:26It's the same kind of thing here.
- 33:27I just don't think he really faced the competition.
- 33:29I think second round is where I would take him, make him be the
- 33:32third or fourth guy. I.
- 33:33Think he's a guard, That's what I think.
- 33:35I do not believe his his attack. I don't know if it's necessarily
- 33:38position specific, I think he has a bulk up either way and I
- 33:41just think his body prototype is just very.
- 33:43Weird. He's fast with his feet.
- 33:45He doesn't have to put as much weight on if he moves to guard
- 33:49and he could still use his speed and his agility that he has
- 33:53played at a high level in Utah. I think you move him to guard
- 33:56and he'll be a good guard in the league.
- 33:58Yeah, I've doubled down on that. Good job.
- 34:01I double down on that. I think he will be better off if
- 34:03he goes to guard. Definitely don't know why Fish
- 34:06put him anywhere near top ten, an old lineman at all.
- 34:10He's struggling a little bit with Big 12 defense alignment.
- 34:15So to even consider him being anywhere near the first round or
- 34:19even top of the second round would just be insane.
- 34:22So yeah, I think he's a late second round, third round guy.
- 34:24Definitely day 2 of a further guy, but he's he's he's
- 34:28definitely would be better at a guard.
- 34:30He got long arms, so that'll be a great benefit to him.
- 34:33And then he's protected on both sides.
- 34:35So he really don't like or say you don't have to put too much
- 34:37weight on and he's just have to learn how to anchor down.
- 34:41Well, look, I just don't like guys that play high in the run
- 34:45game and he plays high in the run game because he's feet.
- 34:48They might be fast, but they get narrow and he gets a little too
- 34:52high, gets a little too like aren't like upper body happy,
- 34:54not like, you know, using this leverage.
- 34:57I I wouldn't take him like at all his draft.
- 35:00I I don't I don't see it like I just don't see this guy being
- 35:04effective. You know, he's a project.
- 35:06You got to put weight on him. I would be late second round on
- 35:08him personally, but he was ranked #25 I didn't make up this
- 35:12list. Q.
- 35:13This isn't me. This isn't me.
- 35:15The guy you subscribe to. This is the guy you subscribe
- 35:17to. You need to.
- 35:18You need to e-mail him. You need to send.
- 35:19You need to make a comment. Why don't you?
- 35:21Why don't you send him this part of the show and and let him
- 35:24decide who who's right and who's wrong?
- 35:26Maybe I will. All right, let's let's go to
- 35:28receiver. So in this next group, I have
- 35:32the last guys in the top 25. We got receiver in tight end
- 35:35Makai Lemon at 13, the USC receiver, Kenyon Siddique, the
- 35:39tight end from Oregon at 16, Jordan Tyson, the Arizona
- 35:43Statewide receiver at 20, KC Conception, the Texas A&M slot
- 35:48guy from at 21, the national champion Omar Cooper, junior
- 35:53from Indiana at 22. And that is, well, you know,
- 35:57let's add this guy into Denzel Boston at 26 from Washington.
- 36:02So we got this group of guys. Do you want me to go?
- 36:05You want me to? Throw you.
- 36:06You want me to throw you a curveball here?
- 36:09Go for it. I think Makai Lemon is the best
- 36:11wide receiver in this class. I think he's the best wide
- 36:15receiver in his class. Reminds me of Saint Brown.
- 36:18He's got a big mouth he has. He is one of those guys that
- 36:22needs to shut his mouth and listen.
- 36:24But what this guy does on the field, nobody does that in this
- 36:28year's draft. This guy can go out there, get
- 36:30the ball, catch the ball. He's got sticky hands.
- 36:33He could do everything, run routes, speed on the outside.
- 36:36This guy is a absolute stud. I'm telling you right now, he'll
- 36:40fall to the second round and whoever drafts him in the second
- 36:43round is getting an absolute slam dunk wide receiver.
- 36:47He is the best wide receiver in his class.
- 36:49You can book. I said that what guy said that
- 36:52it's one of those cases. It's.
- 36:54One of those cases where I think you could see him being the best
- 36:58slot receiver because he played mostly slot.
- 36:59I think it was what was the 89, eight, .9% of the snaps he had
- 37:02in the slot. So he could be one of those
- 37:04receivers like Michael Thomas was with the Saints, where he
- 37:06might be the best statistical receiver in a season that plays
- 37:09mostly in the slot. He can go deep.
- 37:11He's got like, like you're saying, great feet too.
- 37:13I got just a matter of the character issue.
- 37:15So it's going to probably be a late first round pick, a playoff
- 37:17team that could. Let him fall to The Jets in the
- 37:20second round. You're going to trust Aaron.
- 37:22Glad to do the right thing. Pick you pick first, first
- 37:25overall in the second. I would take him first overall,
- 37:27second round 100%. 100% I think. I think it'll.
- 37:30Take out of the I. Think it'll take one of those
- 37:31playoff teams to try to make that kind of thing work, but he
- 37:33could easily emerge into the number one receiver on that team
- 37:36even if he has a slot guy, because he doesn't have a
- 37:37significant weakness. Yeah, I mean good talent second,
- 37:43definitely a second round guy. I mean definitely not the the
- 37:47receiver that Earl is saying he is.
- 37:49I. Remember he said that.
- 37:50He has good. I think he's a good slot.
- 37:53I think he finds the gaps in the defenses and makes good catches,
- 37:56but I can't see him being. That's what they said about
- 38:00Najigba. That's why he fell.
- 38:03He undersides all that other stuff.
- 38:08Beast if he if he find say if he went to the beast, I think he
- 38:11would be crazy. I think Beast, he's going to be
- 38:15wearing the. Belt baby wearing the belt baby.
- 38:18You're going to beast. Depend on the system though.
- 38:19Beast. All right, Well, I, the only
- 38:23thing about him that I am a little worried about is he seems
- 38:26to be a diva wide receiver. He's about.
- 38:28Yeah. And you're going to is, is a guy
- 38:30that you're going to love or you're absolutely going to hate
- 38:32Errol. I think you're going to have
- 38:33plenty of hot takes about Makai Lemon in the next few years for
- 38:37sure. Definitely going to be the
- 38:38second receiver off the board. I can't see it any other way.
- 38:41If it is another guy though, it'll be Jordan Tyson.
- 38:44So let's talk about him real quick.
- 38:46Jordan Tyson, Arizona statewide receiver.
- 38:50Let me just change the camera angle and we'll get to the
- 38:52notes. So we got here. 2 year starter
- 38:56Arizona State lined up as the X receiver 3/4 of the time.
- 39:00Combined 136 catches, 1800 yards, 18 touchdowns in 21
- 39:05games. It was basically him, Jeremiah
- 39:08Smith and Yukon Skylar Bell, the only three FBS players who could
- 39:12who did that. Not elite speed, but good enough
- 39:16speed. Not a great size.
- 39:18Good enough size but makes the wow catches all the time.
- 39:24His issue is health. That's why he will drop.
- 39:28I don't think it's a first round talent.
- 39:29I think he falls to the second round.
- 39:31He's a good player. He's got elite speed.
- 39:33He could do all those things that you we've been saying Makai
- 39:36can do and, and, and what everybody, every wide receiver
- 39:40could do in this class. I don't even think he's the
- 39:42third best wide receiver in his class.
- 39:45That's the crazy thing. I'm I'm going to say this, a
- 39:48tight end Sadiq is the if you want to consider him a tight end
- 39:52slash wide receiver, he's the third best wide receiver in this
- 39:54class. I do not believe he is, but he's
- 39:57got potential. He's a second round talent,
- 39:59maybe a third round talent. We'll see how he falls, but.
- 40:03Again, health is everything. Health is the most important
- 40:05thing when it comes to the NFL, and I think that's going to be
- 40:07his problem. Yeah, it's interesting because I
- 40:09think he's got a good balance of everything that you need.
- 40:11Yeah, Fish, like you're saying, not overly fast, but I think you
- 40:14look at Kenny Dillingham and that Arizona State scheme I
- 40:16think did a good job of getting guys open.
- 40:18I think whoever's going to be drafting him, he'll probably be
- 40:20in the later first round anyway because.
- 40:22He's not be drafting in the 1st. Because of the injury risk, I
- 40:24think there will be a team that will take a flyer on him
- 40:26because. In the first round.
- 40:27At the end of the first round playoff.
- 40:29Nobody's taking him in the first round.
- 40:31A playoff. Team #20 on this list, he's not.
- 40:34Which? Talent wise.
- 40:35Book it. Book it.
- 40:36He will not be drafted in the first round.
- 40:38Book it. Which talent wise 20 makes a lot
- 40:40of sense, but I think the stat was he missed 34% of Arizona
- 40:43State's games, which is definitely a concern.
- 40:46Again, I think A-Team that's higher end in the back end of
- 40:48the first round is take a flight.
- 40:49I wouldn't if I was a Houston Texans, all the fragile
- 40:51receivers, I wouldn't take them. But I mean, there's other teams
- 40:54that could use a receiver. I think definitely still take a
- 40:56shot at him. Yeah.
- 40:57I mean, obviously health there's an issue and it would be
- 41:00considered, but I mean, if you look at the kids number, look at
- 41:03that was almost 1000 yards with being hurt 8 total touchdowns.
- 41:08I mean the kid can play. I think I would probably compare
- 41:11him somewhere to like a Mike Evans, you know, somebody that
- 41:14doesn't really have too much breakaway speed, but definitely
- 41:17can catch the ball definitely around the routes, possession
- 41:19type, possession type wide receiver.
- 41:21So I, I think he might slip in there.
- 41:24I'm I'm going to go against him and I'm say he's going to go
- 41:27higher than what's it called? What's the name Mike?
- 41:30The last one we missed Lemon, Yes.
- 41:32So yeah, girl, I got, I got this guy going, Tyson going further
- 41:36than Lemon. This guy, this guy, by the way,
- 41:38he's an Arizona player. We'll see how fast these guys go
- 41:42off the board and how how big, how quick they fail in the NFL,
- 41:46these wide receivers so. Just saying, I think it's going
- 41:52to be if there's a team really need an outside receiver, if
- 41:55they're going to consider Lemon or or type you.
- 41:58Know Lemon is absolutely going to be a better wide receiver in
- 42:02this class. I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm
- 42:04just saying the team may not want a slot receiver, you know?
- 42:07I bet and Tyson drafted before. It doesn't matter who gets
- 42:11drafted before each other. It matters who's better.
- 42:13And I'm going to tell you McKay Lemon is better.
- 42:16McKay McKay Lemon is a better player.
- 42:19All right, let's talk about a guy who's maybe the most
- 42:21exciting receiver of this group. KC Concepcion from Texas A&M,
- 42:26one year starter. He lined up outside about 60,
- 42:30about 2/3 of the snaps inside. You know, a lot of RP OS in the
- 42:35Texas A&M scheme, but you know he is dynamic with the football
- 42:41in his hands. Like this is the guy you get the
- 42:43screens to. This is the guy you get into
- 42:45space underneath routes, you clear out, you know, do clear
- 42:48out routes and have him run a shallow.
- 42:50This is the guy you want for that.
- 42:51This is a guy every team needs. I think that this is the guy
- 42:56that Andy Reid is targeting in like this.
- 42:59There's no doubt this is an Andy Reid guy.
- 43:02Think like if he was a little faster.
- 43:04This is like a Tyreek Hill mold of a player.
- 43:07I stay away from these fast guys.
- 43:09They drafted one in the first round.
- 43:11I'm not saying he failed, but you can't keep bringing these
- 43:14these fast guys from Texas, Texas A&M and expect them to
- 43:18succeed. I you bring Tyree Kill on a
- 43:21whim, see if he could still play in that offense, that's what I
- 43:24would do. I'm not saying Kissip.
- 43:26Sean won't be a good player and he won't be explosive.
- 43:29He's not a first round talent. He could be a second round,
- 43:32early third round draft pick. Yeah, he's explosive.
- 43:36He's fun to watch. He's very good, very good feet.
- 43:39I just think that these guys that everybody looks at all
- 43:42speed, this speed, that all these speed demons, they don't
- 43:45succeed in the NFL. Doesn't matter how fast, How
- 43:47could they break? How could they run routes?
- 43:50That's the question. I don't know if this guy's going
- 43:52to be that type of player. And how about being pushed by a
- 43:55big, strong corner? Can he handle that?
- 43:59Can that speed handle that? That's my question.
- 44:01I think he's a different type of player than Xavier Worthy.
- 44:04I think Xavier Worthy was a flat, a flashy, fast guy that
- 44:07had a iffy route tree. This is a guy that, well, he
- 44:09doesn't have a big great size. He actually plays big and has a
- 44:12good possession at a possession receiver type.
- 44:14And he's also very versatile. If they can line him up as a
- 44:17running back, they can line him up as a like a slot out type
- 44:20guy. So I think there's a lot of
- 44:21creativity that can go involved with a player like him.
- 44:23And he's a guy that gets open very quickly in today's NFL with
- 44:26a lot of these 3 receiver sets, a lot of these bunch sets.
- 44:29That's a big the. Corners are a lot faster, the
- 44:31safeties are a lot faster. They're not going to get as open
- 44:35as quick as they were playing college football.
- 44:38Now, the other thing that's interesting, the other thing
- 44:40that's interesting is his NC State career.
- 44:42He played both a lot of slot and outside, and they did not have
- 44:44great quarterbacks over there and was still a very productive
- 44:46player. So I think that kind of adapt,
- 44:49adaptability can make it work for somebody like.
- 44:51He is undersized. You'll have to worry about these
- 44:54kind of guys in the NFL and I'm going to tell you right now Andy
- 44:58Reid decides to go after this kid and take some on a whim
- 45:01again like they did with Xavier worthy.
- 45:04It might fail again. I I just don't stop trying to
- 45:07compare him to some other players.
- 45:09Tyree kill He was special. He was a six round talent.
- 45:12You got lucky with him. Stop.
- 45:14Oh, this guy fits the mold of Andy Reid.
- 45:17Please stop. Yeah, stop.
- 45:19He does. He's a gadget guy.
- 45:20You know him. Andy Reid.
- 45:22You're going to draft a gadget guy or a gadget he's.
- 45:24Better figure out how to. All right, I'm going.
- 45:27To draft in gadget. But I'm not saying he's going
- 45:30first round. No, I agree with you on that.
- 45:32He don't go first round, but he's definitely a guy that can
- 45:35impact the game and definitely shift the momentum in a game
- 45:39because he has that type of quickness and breakaway speed.
- 45:41And he's a gadget guy. So you can line on like speed
- 45:44set, you can line them up all over the place.
- 45:45And and that's the create different offensive sets with
- 45:49him. But it just depends on the
- 45:50coach, you know, if he gets to the right system, he could be
- 45:52dangerous, you know, And so that's what it's going to come
- 45:54down to as far as a guy like him.
- 45:56But outside of that, he might go to a team that, you know, put
- 45:59him as punt returners like that special team.
- 46:02You'd be surprised. I was waiting.
- 46:06I was waiting for you to say that.
- 46:08I would consider it if if there's no the two DTS, we'll
- 46:11get to the DTS on Monday more, but Kayla Banks, Oregon, Peter
- 46:14Woods. If they're not there for
- 46:15Buffalo, I would consider it for Buffalo.
- 46:18At look, this is a guy that someone is going to trade up
- 46:21for, whether it's at the top of the second round or late in the
- 46:24first round, someone you know, you know, offensive coaches.
- 46:29Q You know these guys, you know these gentlemen, you know what
- 46:33they want. I know what the guy.
- 46:34Who can break this? I know.
- 46:35You're not. I know you've lost your mind,
- 46:39but that's fine. I'm just.
- 46:39Telling you it might not work, but someone is going to make a
- 46:42move for him. Oh, he's going to make.
- 46:43A move. I'm going to flip it after I
- 46:45take a dump you. Know we're going to flip that
- 46:47I'll. Flip it like a pink tink.
- 46:49See Q Don't worry, Errol. Errol will change his mind if he
- 46:53has 125 yards and a touchdown with the Gremlin as his primary
- 46:56defender. Please, that guy's not going to
- 46:59stop a lick either. By the way, Fish, I I want to
- 47:02throw you a curveball on that. What did I tell you?
- 47:04What I thought the gremlin was going to be in the NFL.
- 47:07He was going to be a stay and home corner.
- 47:10You said he was going to be a wide receiver.
- 47:12He failed. I said no, no, no, no.
- 47:15I'm not talking to you you I'm talking a fish.
- 47:19I'm talking a fish. Fish is the one that told me
- 47:22this guy is going to be a wide receiver.
- 47:24I said he was going to fail. I said he was going to fail.
- 47:27He wasn't going to be any good and he's going to be pushed the
- 47:29corner because that's all he can play in the NFL at a high level.
- 47:32I was right and I told you the Jaguars, I said outs.
- 47:35He's going to be a full time quarter.
- 47:37That means I was right. I was.
- 47:39Right. Hey fish, you're the deuce of
- 47:42the day. Hey, you got to, you got to
- 47:44score points. QQ.
- 47:46You got to score points, man. He didn't.
- 47:48What did he do on defense, huh? You got to score points.
- 47:51Listen, we'll see. We'll we'll see what happens
- 47:54with Travis Hunter in his career.
- 47:55Maybe he'll end up on The Jets. Oh please never keep the far,
- 47:58far away, Farrell had this fan done as a Jets fan, keep fall
- 48:02far away from my. Organization to interview him.
- 48:05That sounds like a far. Away from Johnson, I do not want
- 48:08him. I see Brick making that move on
- 48:10Madden. Wipe it out out of water here.
- 48:13Fisher Madden allow him to play both positions though.
- 48:16Outing Barrel at the press conference.
- 48:18Dude, if I go to a press conference with Travis Hunter
- 48:22there and he's holding that Jets jersey, I will barf.
- 48:25I will literally barf right there for all the media to see
- 48:29me, tell me, tell me that I'm out of line and I'm crazy
- 48:33because I'm going to say this guy's a bust, He sucks, and of
- 48:36course he's coming to my team because he blows Harry go.
- 48:39No, that's all we can. Replace Caitlin Cart Jersey with
- 48:41it. You're right.
- 48:43You're probably right. Oh yeah.
- 48:44He has one already, don't worry. I'm going to give you a receiver
- 48:47that I know you like, though. Now with this next one, it's
- 48:49Omar Cooper, Junior National. Champion.
- 48:52I like him. This guy is was probably thought
- 48:55of as a second round pick until he got this exposure.
- 48:58And he's a first round. Really well, and he's going to
- 49:00be, it looks like he's going to be a late first round type of
- 49:02guy again. 1 1/2 year started Indiana primarily out of the
- 49:07slot. This year 83%, you know, again
- 49:11and a lot of like, you know, read and dump it off type of RPO
- 49:14simple schemes in there. But again, when he was going
- 49:17deep, he was making plays, 69 catches, 937 yards.
- 49:23They had a bunch of receiving touchdowns.
- 49:26People are going to have his doubters right because of that
- 49:29offense. How many How many first round
- 49:31picks does the Raiders have? Still 2 as of now.
- 49:34I'm going to tell you this right now.
- 49:36Omar Cooper is as good as a Raider bucket.
- 49:40He will be a Raider. Take that.
- 49:43Remember I said that? Remember I said that for all you
- 49:46fans, Flip it like a pancake. Flip it like a pancake, like a
- 49:50waffle. Like a waffle.
- 49:52I like my waffles. Nice buttermilk.
- 49:54I think they want faster. Guys though, I'm telling you,
- 49:56Omar Cooper Junior will be a Raider.
- 49:59Have you seen the wide receiver drafting the fastest guy in the
- 50:02draft history? It's not very good.
- 50:05Remember I said that? Remember.
- 50:07I said that all right. What do you guys speedy on?
- 50:09I was. Going to say with Cooper, I I
- 50:10think big slot, I think is the ideal thing for him.
- 50:12I think he was a good touchdown guy, good contested catch guy.
- 50:15I think he has a first round pick.
- 50:17I think his route tree still has to be developed a little more,
- 50:20but I do think he's worth the the pick that needs a bigger
- 50:24bodied receiver. A team that need has a bunch of
- 50:26small guys to complement it with somebody else.
- 50:28So I do think he's a first round pick, but I think there's some
- 50:30traits in his game that still need to grow.
- 50:33Yeah, I I think he's late first round, possibly second round for
- 50:38sure, But I think he's very consistent, good big spot wide
- 50:42receiver like Speedy said. But you know, being there, they
- 50:45went deep into the playoffs and then he's coming up on the what
- 50:48is Cinetti Cinetti coaching? I think he has a good chance of,
- 50:53you know, touching the back end of the first round or definitely
- 50:56the second round. Cart Signetti, AKA the guy that
- 50:58Doc Rivers stole a quote from. Yeah.
- 51:02You know, this guy's a good football player.
- 51:04You might not have all the intangibles.
- 51:05This is a guy that normally goes in the second round and you go,
- 51:08why this guy go in the second round?
- 51:09He's going to go in the first round because of the exposure.
- 51:12But he's not flashy at anything. He's just good at everything.
- 51:15And you want guys like that on your team.
- 51:16I think there's no question who he is like, like the top
- 51:19possession slot guy, you know, red zone, dangerous guy in the
- 51:23red zone that you want doing slot fades and things like that.
- 51:26So. Good.
- 51:27Yeah, Yeah. For.
- 51:28Sure. You know all that.
- 51:29Yeah, so let's get last receiver we're going to talk about
- 51:32tonight is the guy from Boston, from Washington. 2 year starter,
- 51:39wide out 81% of the time, productive at all three levels,
- 51:44deep, me, intermediate and short, really good in the red
- 51:47zone. 14 of his 20 catches in the red zone, he's going to be
- 51:51the guy that teams are looking to if they want the big, big,
- 51:56big threat. Reminds me of Courtland Sutton.
- 51:59That's who he reminds me of. He's got tremendous strength.
- 52:03He can run around. He's got speed, I don't know,
- 52:06lightning speed where he's going to completely beat you.
- 52:08Upper body strength, can catch the ball.
- 52:11He's going to be a guy that teams are going to be looking
- 52:13at. If you need a red zone guy, he's
- 52:15the guy. I don't think he's a first round
- 52:18talent. I I think he's a third round
- 52:20talent. He will fall out of the second
- 52:22round but he's fun to watch. I think he could be a good
- 52:24player depending on where he goes.
- 52:26It's all about fitting the scheme.
- 52:28But Cortland Sutton remind he reminds me of.
- 52:31It's odd because he's got the red zone stats.
- 52:34You would think like a possession receiver with the
- 52:35size that you would think of a quicker slot receiver.
- 52:38And that's what's weird about his body type and that's why I
- 52:40definitely don't think he's a first round pick.
- 52:42I could see him as a late second round or like you said, a third
- 52:44round pick. He's just a weird body type that
- 52:46I don't know in a Washington offense that's been a kind of up
- 52:49and down since Caitlin de Boer left.
- 52:51He played well I think against Oregon this year and some other
- 52:53good teams. But again, I don't know if
- 52:55production grades in certain games they're going to level to
- 52:57A. Good.
- 52:58I don't know how nobody brought up Kenyan static.
- 53:01He's next. I just did receivers before the
- 53:03Titans. And.
- 53:04He was another one that played mostly outside fish.
- 53:07I think he was like an 89% outside for a guy that's like
- 53:10180 lbs and it kind of weird body type.
- 53:12I don't see that working as a number one.
- 53:13Maybe it's a two or three in the right system, but definitely not
- 53:16a first round pick, second round, third round pick.
- 53:19Yeah, I got him down probably mid second, late, late second.
- 53:23I think that, you know, he would probably fall into that tier.
- 53:26What's the top receiver guys get out of the get out of the draft?
- 53:30They probably be, you know, rise up to the top of that board.
- 53:34Good big target. Like you said, he's definitely a
- 53:36red zone target. So yeah, I think he's a good
- 53:39receiver. I think this second round, late
- 53:42second, late second round. I look, you don't.
- 53:47You never know if the athleticism translates to the
- 53:49NFL, especially when you have a guy with questionable
- 53:52athleticism, you know, at the position.
- 53:55I don't know. I wouldn't take him until late
- 53:57second round, early third round. I completely agree with you
- 53:59guys. You just don't want to take you
- 54:01risk that kind of capital and the guy, you don't know what
- 54:03he's going to be at. Right.
- 54:05Yeah, He'll, he'll be there. You know he's not going to be.
- 54:07He's not nobody that jumped off the screen, but he is a guy that
- 54:10you got to consider when you're in the red zone.
- 54:13All right, let's do it. Errol.
- 54:15This is a guy, this is going to be the number one tight end
- 54:17taken in the draft. Kenyan Siddiq.
- 54:20We all watched him in the playoffs and watched him all
- 54:22season. He's listed at #16 on this list.
- 54:27Only a one year starter at Oregon, right?
- 54:30Lined up all over the formation. But he's in line.
- 54:34Tight end 1/4 of the time, big slot a little over half the
- 54:38time. They split them out every once
- 54:39in a while. He led the Ducks with 51
- 54:42catches. Again, they don't throw a lot,
- 54:44but that was a program record for tight ends at just 51
- 54:47catches. He had 8 touchdowns, which was
- 54:50the most in all FBS, 4 tight ends.
- 54:54He's just super freaky. You know, athleticism.
- 54:57It just screams Kyle Pitts. You know when you talk about
- 55:01him, the same type of conversations we had.
- 55:03Not as big as Kyle Pitts. But the athleticism, he might be
- 55:06faster and he may be a little bit more dynamic with the ball
- 55:10in his hands after the catch. Reminds me of Jimmy Graham.
- 55:14That's what he reminds me of. I love this kid.
- 55:17I absolutely love this kid. He's fast, a light, a lot faster
- 55:22than he looks on film. But he's so fast, Great hands,
- 55:26jumps very high, as you saw at the combine.
- 55:28He is fun. He's athletically gifted.
- 55:31Anybody that takes this kid in the draft is getting a stud, an
- 55:35absolute stud, an absolute game changing stud.
- 55:39Love him. He's going in the top 12.
- 55:42If he falls out of the top 12, if he falls to 16, The Jets
- 55:44cannot skip him as much as they drafted or I tell you I'm I'm
- 55:48taking I'm taking Kenyan Sadiq. I I love this kid.
- 55:53I'm I'm telling you he is a game changing explosive player love.
- 55:58Can he throw himself the ball? Yeah, what, what, what if
- 56:02Simpson there maybe. What if Christmas there?
- 56:04We're going to talk about him. Right, the end.
- 56:05I don't think Ty Simpsons going to be there for The Jets at 16.
- 56:08But if he's there, you take in who you taking.
- 56:10No, I would take Ty Simpson, but he's not going to be there, so.
- 56:14Yeah, I don't. Know about that?
- 56:16I'm telling you, I don't think. He's fish.
- 56:17You talked about he was only a one year starter, but there was
- 56:19also a lot of good guys in that in that system for a while.
- 56:22One of us has been on our show, Terence Ferguson was a two year
- 56:25starter there and he was going to touchdown machine for them
- 56:28for a while. So he started kind of as a
- 56:29blocking tight end there. Before that it was Justin
- 56:31Herbert's brother Patrick that was there for a while and then
- 56:34this year with Jelani Johnson. So you look at all the guys that
- 56:37are with, he still put up those types of numbers, won awards
- 56:40amidst having a lot of competition around him.
- 56:42This is a definite first round talent.
- 56:43I agree. I want to say something about Ty
- 56:47Simpson for everybody to understand something.
- 56:49He is gone. He has gone to multiple teams
- 56:53for second interviews over the last two weeks.
- 56:57I'm telling you, he is not going.
- 57:00If he's there at 16, The Jets better scoop him up.
- 57:03We'll talk. About him?
- 57:04Scoop him up. He's on the list.
- 57:06Scoop him up, but he won't be. He has a Dick.
- 57:09I'm going to go a little further back.
- 57:11It gives me Shannon Sharpe vibe. That's even.
- 57:15Better those guys, that's even better.
- 57:16I think he definitely will go. I think late 1st if that, but
- 57:22I'm more hanging on to the top, top of the second round.
- 57:26I don't necessarily think he makes it I.
- 57:27Take him. I take him first in the second
- 57:29round. If I'm the judge, I take him in
- 57:32the second round at #1 bam, we got him, yeah.
- 57:36He he ain't going to be there. So it won't be.
- 57:38But there's there's, I would be shocked.
- 57:40I think he goes top 15, top 20 the.
- 57:44Top 12, He's going top 12, definitely top 12.
- 57:46Yeah, 13. I don't think he gets out of 20.
- 57:49That'd be a shock of the draft. I think is just of how his
- 57:52athletic numbers at the combine were.
- 57:54He might fall. Yeah, he.
- 57:56Prepared to be shot. It's the position, it's the
- 57:58tight. He might fall a couple of dude,
- 58:00but he could be used as a wide receiver.
- 58:03That's the thing. He's fast, so I'm just saying.
- 58:06He's big and he's going. He's going to be easy target.
- 58:09I might not be 66 dropping too. Maybe I can run in the?
- 58:13NFL, but you can run straightforward like that in
- 58:15college and me, you're going to have to have some wiggle.
- 58:18I I got some wiggle. I got some wiggle.
- 58:20Fishy, fishy. I had the wiggle the other day.
- 58:21I was constipated. Fishy brought the Kyle Pittsford
- 58:24comparison. Sorry Qi.
- 58:25Know you like the Steelers, but you can't have the Steelers
- 58:28draft him to have Arthur Smith ruin him like he ruined Kyle
- 58:30Pitts. Spread his shirts.
- 58:32Even like DK makeup, you know what I mean?
- 58:34Like. Mario Yeah.
- 58:36But Arthur, Arthur Smith's coaching, you can't trust that.
- 58:39Yeah, no, you can't trust Arthur Smith at all.
- 58:41I don't know why he's there. Would you stick a finger in his
- 58:43ass? Well, no.
- 58:44Let's get into the last couple of guys on this list.
- 58:47I just threw him at the end. I got #20 we got some lineman
- 58:50again. We got Blake Miller, the Clemson
- 58:54tackle. He's right tackle.
- 58:56I actually like him 9 I like him.
- 58:58Max. I'm going to butcher the name
- 59:00Max by he and a chore from Arizona State.
- 59:05We got Chase Besantis, the A&M guard that everyone likes, and
- 59:09then at #42 on his list. Errol is Ty Simpson, who he's
- 59:16calling a poor man's Daniel Jones.
- 59:21Well, he's. Going to be wrong.
- 59:22He's going. To be.
- 59:24Wrong about that. He's going to be really wrong
- 59:26about that one. I.
- 59:27Don't know that's got a hair. No right there.
- 59:30Hey, listen. Hey, I'm just telling you he's
- 59:33wrong about that one. I'm just saying.
- 59:35I like this guy for this. OK, you like that guy?
- 59:40Now, fish, are you judging it as the way you think of Daniel
- 59:42Jones or the way Errol thinks of Daniel Jones?
- 59:44I actually love Daniel Jones. Wait now and Daniel Jones.
- 59:47I'm saying a poor man's version wearing shorter, not as strong,
- 59:51not as. Fast, better footwork, can throw
- 59:54the ball better than him, great arm, right arm.
- 59:57So if he breaks away on a QB draw wide open, does he fall?
- 1:00:01Dude, you, you obviously didn't watch enough.
- 1:00:03Man. You you obviously didn't watch
- 1:00:06enough for tie. No, I ask you, I'm asking you a
- 1:00:08question. What?
- 1:00:09What are you asking? Me fall if he breaks.
- 1:00:13No, he's not your guy, Mr. Butt. Fumbler himself.
- 1:00:17Is he going down Levi, the blade of grass?
- 1:00:19Does he take it? And.
- 1:00:20Take it down. I I think, I think he's monster.
- 1:00:23I think he's gifted. He had no offensive tackles last
- 1:00:26year. He really could.
- 1:00:27Nobody stayed healthy for me. Had no running game.
- 1:00:30He had no wide receivers. Wide receivers couldn't stay
- 1:00:33healthy. This guy is going to be a steal.
- 1:00:37I'm telling you. Remember I said this, I'm right
- 1:00:40about Ty Simpson. The Jets or anybody that drafts
- 1:00:43him has got to sit him for a year.
- 1:00:45He's got to sit. He's got to learn the offense
- 1:00:47wherever he goes. If he does that, I'm telling
- 1:00:50you, he's going to be a great player in this league.
- 1:00:53I love him. Blake Miller, by the way, I like
- 1:00:55him a lot better than some of the tackles and some of the
- 1:00:58guards that you mentioned. Ugly hairdo.
- 1:01:00But he was a wrestler. He was an elite wrestler in
- 1:01:04college. I love in high school.
- 1:01:07This kid is a a beast. He he works in the farms, baby.
- 1:01:11I'm loving him. Tell me, I'm going to tell you
- 1:01:14this Blake Miller, whoever gets him, probably second round
- 1:01:17talent, maybe third like him. Grab him, scoop him, develop
- 1:01:21him. You got yourself a nice player.
- 1:01:23Yep, I actually have him ahead of Proctor who we mentioned and.
- 1:01:27Wrestler. And Lomo, I think whoever won is
- 1:01:29thinking Miller's state. Allstate wrestler, baby.
- 1:01:31Very well-rounded player and a lot of different offensive.
- 1:01:34I think Clemson had all these different offensive coordinators
- 1:01:36just got rid of Lincoln Rogers changed his hairstyle by the
- 1:01:39way, he looks like a mop on his side.
- 1:01:40He got Clemson just got rid of ugly ugly guy.
- 1:01:43Can Riley son Garrett, who had a good first year last year with
- 1:01:48with Clemson but then fall off this year?
- 1:01:49But he's been with a lot of different schemes.
- 1:01:51That's why I think it could work.
- 1:01:52Fish, like you were mentioning before, one of the hardest
- 1:01:54workers in this draft. I think you see a lot of
- 1:01:56different traits in his game that definitely can slur.
- 1:01:58We definitely can make him that. I think he'll be a second round
- 1:02:02pick, but I think he's a first round.
- 1:02:04I am telling you right now, this guy can pound you and ground you
- 1:02:08on the floor. This guy's a beast.
- 1:02:11A beast. He's going to take you and drop
- 1:02:13you on your head. Everybody doesn't need an
- 1:02:15offensive tap and that's what Speedy says.
- 1:02:17That's why I agree with Speedy. I think he goes into the second
- 1:02:19round. He's a hell of a talent that
- 1:02:21doesn't, you know, that's not to knock him for his talent OR his
- 1:02:26ability, but I just think that with the knees and the people
- 1:02:29that they already have ahead of him, I don't think that he makes
- 1:02:32it into the first round, but definitely coming off that board
- 1:02:35earlier in the second round. I love.
- 1:02:38Him I. Have I have it written down here
- 1:02:41before? I looked at the notes of what
- 1:02:42they were saying about him. Plays very smart with his
- 1:02:45leverage. This guy just.
- 1:02:47Wrestler in front of you wrestler.
- 1:02:50Because he's a genius with his leverage almost.
- 1:02:52It's just it's just really good. He can get to the if he knows
- 1:02:56he's like setting you up with this kind of like torquing,
- 1:03:00turning a circular force punch with like a palm strike to and
- 1:03:04he's so quick with his feet. He's doing 2 three hit combos on
- 1:03:07you, right? He's really, really good with
- 1:03:10his technique. Like Aaron said, he's the
- 1:03:12wrestler, so he knew how to be his body.
- 1:03:14This is different. So this is the guy you want?
- 1:03:17Yeah, this is. You don't get Opus alignment
- 1:03:19with wrestling background either, so that's good.
- 1:03:22I always made my alignment. Wrestle lives on the farm.
- 1:03:25This guy's picking up those bushes he's beating up, you
- 1:03:28know, picking up cows. I mean this.
- 1:03:31There you go. This is the guy, man.
- 1:03:33This is the guy man I'm taking. Them good, but I ain't got them
- 1:03:36down for that. I'm taking them.
- 1:03:37I'm doing the thriller. The thriller.
- 1:03:39It's coming out this. Week.
- 1:03:41All right, let's talk about the Arizona State tackle Max I he
- 1:03:47Archer, Speedy, Tell me how to pronounce.
- 1:03:49It I don't know, I I I. I, I not sure that sounds
- 1:03:52better. All right, this guy is a 2 1/2
- 1:03:55year start at Arizona State. Right tackle, gap scheme, right
- 1:03:59tackle. We haven't had a lot of those.
- 1:04:01Played his best ball as a senior.
- 1:04:03No sacks allowed. Was really good in the Senior
- 1:04:05Bowl. He has really good footwork and
- 1:04:08body control. His hands are a little off at
- 1:04:10times, but I think he has the most patient hands of anybody in
- 1:04:14this draft. He will set you up.
- 1:04:17He's just waiting for you to make a move and he's going to
- 1:04:20absolutely have you. Once you do, his hands are ready
- 1:04:23to strike at all times and he stays back from you.
- 1:04:26He is a problem to solve and I don't know how you do it unless
- 1:04:30you are just way more athletic than him and he's pretty
- 1:04:33athletic. These last two guys, Ian Achor
- 1:04:37and Miller, I would I wouldn't really have a problem taking
- 1:04:41them at the end of the first round.
- 1:04:42I think they're both that good. Well, I'm reading a little bit
- 1:04:45about Max and he came from Nigeria at 13 years old.
- 1:04:50He didn't start playing football until his later high school
- 1:04:54time. So you're talking about 15-16
- 1:04:56years old. JPP, remember him?
- 1:04:59I was pretty successful in the NFL before he blew his hands off
- 1:05:02or fingers off. We all know that.
- 1:05:05Yes, But this guy was a soccer player at a high level and Billy
- 1:05:09basketball. This guy's very athletic,
- 1:05:12athletically gifted, and he will knock you around.
- 1:05:15He's big, he's strong. I'm reading all these things
- 1:05:18about him and he did on, but he played unbelievable at the
- 1:05:22senior ball. Yeah, he's definitely a guy that
- 1:05:25has a well-rounded combination of everything.
- 1:05:27Like you said, the background of, of, of growing up in
- 1:05:30Nigeria, we've interviewed Krishna Koi, we've interviewed a
- 1:05:33lot of other football players have grown up there.
- 1:05:35It's tough to do that, especially as an offensive
- 1:05:36lineman to you. You need to really have that
- 1:05:38kind of training and. He's wrong.
- 1:05:40That's the only he's wrong. That's why I think it'll still
- 1:05:42be a second round pick. But I think again, that Kenny
- 1:05:44Dillingham system has always been strong offensively.
- 1:05:46And I think because of the way that the multiple concepts that
- 1:05:50are used, I think you'll still be able to be adaptable in the
- 1:05:52NFL second round grade, but can be a good valuable pick for
- 1:05:56somebody early in the second round.
- 1:05:58Yeah, I love his patience. I think that, you know, when he
- 1:06:01waits on the defender. So one thing about a defence,
- 1:06:04defensive end or deep Taco is that we love to see the offense
- 1:06:08a lot, hands first. You can that kind of dictate
- 1:06:10what kind of move we're going to use.
- 1:06:12But he has a lot of patience that you can see that he trusts
- 1:06:14that athleticism that he got and developed through playing
- 1:06:17soccer. So I like what I see out of them
- 1:06:20and very aggressive, but it also very patient, which is kind of
- 1:06:24hard to do it with both in regards to being an offensive
- 1:06:27tackle. So I got him as a second round
- 1:06:29grade, but definitely a great pick up for somebody for sure.
- 1:06:33Errol, if The Jets won a lineman and put him at a, you know,
- 1:06:38slide somebody, put him anywhere, this guy's going to be
- 1:06:40able to do it for you. Anyone he if anyone's going to
- 1:06:43be able to wait on a defensive player like this, he's going to
- 1:06:47be good in the NFL. I I would be shocked if he's not
- 1:06:50really good. We have to.
- 1:06:51Be good for him too. And we don't know how good he's
- 1:06:54going to because he's still very new to the game with this.
- 1:06:57So I I'm excited about him as it's a prospect.
- 1:07:00Top of the second round. This is the guy you want, I
- 1:07:02think. All right, last guy of the
- 1:07:05night. And then we're going to be done
- 1:07:07and we'll get into let's parlay. In fact, speedy, we were going
- 1:07:10to go to a break. We don't need to.
- 1:07:12We'll take it right to it and and then we'll go to the break.
- 1:07:16But here we after let's parlay Chase Basantis.
- 1:07:18Everyone got a big profile. Everyone likes him.
- 1:07:22He was the the mauling guard from Texas A and M3 year starter
- 1:07:28left guard pretty balanced gap in zone right tackle his first
- 1:07:32year, but he got a little bit bigger.
- 1:07:34They put him at guard all SEC blocker this year in the run
- 1:07:38game. I mean, he's a beast.
- 1:07:40He's strong. He's going to torque people
- 1:07:42think about Oh my God, the name's on the tip of my tongue.
- 1:07:46The guy that was the bully, The fake bully, that was the old pro
- 1:07:49guard. Back in the day.
- 1:07:51No. The guy who bullied him, Richie
- 1:07:54Incognito type, that's who this is.
- 1:07:56He's a mean, beat you up type of guard.
- 1:07:59Is he good at everything? I would say there are some
- 1:08:03issues, like if it's not right in front of him and you have to
- 1:08:06have him pull or chase somebody, I don't think he's that great.
- 1:08:09But if it's any kind of down scheme or gap scheme where he
- 1:08:12doesn't have to be the one pulling, he's doing the down
- 1:08:14block. You don't want to deal with this
- 1:08:16guy. This guy is me.
- 1:08:18Well, look at the think about his combine numbers.
- 1:08:20He ran a 40 and five point O2. Think about that five point O2.
- 1:08:26His total score was fourth out of all the guards in the
- 1:08:31combine, 78. He's athletically gifted.
- 1:08:35His broad jump was an 8-9. I mean his vertical leap, his
- 1:08:39jump was 32. His cones were 1.76 seconds.
- 1:08:43I mean, this guy athletically gifted, now, I don't know if
- 1:08:48he's not a first or a second round, he'll fall to the third
- 1:08:50round. But athletically gifted you, you
- 1:08:53wait until the late second round, early third round, you
- 1:08:56can, you can get yourself a nice good player.
- 1:08:59I like him. I like him a lot.
- 1:09:00Yeah, I like him a lot too. This is a guy that I think is a
- 1:09:02good downhill run blocker both on in the middle and also I
- 1:09:06wouldn't say exotic schemes fish, but I would say is still
- 1:09:08some outside concepts. I think you saw that.
- 1:09:10Remember, they switched from Jimbo Fisher to Mike Elko.
- 1:09:13They brought over a lot of those concepts from Duke we saw with
- 1:09:16Riley Leonard we saw with their running backs, and I think he
- 1:09:18adapted to that very well. Yeah, he's not a perfect
- 1:09:20prospect. That's why he'll probably go in
- 1:09:21the second round, I think mid second round.
- 1:09:23From New Jersey to. Probably, most likely, but still
- 1:09:25very strong jersey and like you're saying Errol go with
- 1:09:27those cone drills because he's got good good.
- 1:09:29Side side 315 lbs and ran a 40 and 5.02.
- 1:09:33Yep. And the cone drills like you
- 1:09:35were saying, the side to side lateral movement is something
- 1:09:37I've always been impressed with him as well.
- 1:09:38Yeah, it might be a little still raw with the pass block.
- 1:09:41I think that has to improve a little.
- 1:09:42But again, he doesn't. He's if you're drafting the
- 1:09:44second round, you're not going to be the best guard on your
- 1:09:46team right away, the best offensive lineman on that on
- 1:09:48that team. That is probably the biggest
- 1:09:49team unit of any unit. He's got pretty big hands too.
- 1:09:52934 pretty damn good. Yeah, I like, I like the Santos
- 1:09:56a lot. I think whoever drafts right in
- 1:09:58the probably mid second round. I'm sure it's that big.
- 1:10:01I mean, 31, but I that might make him drop.
- 1:10:05But everything else about him? Beasley 65, yeah.
- 1:10:10Definitely, definitely spot on what you guys said.
- 1:10:13I think he could be a third round grade.
- 1:10:15I think he also is very aggressive.
- 1:10:18So when you got guys that are very aggressive that usually
- 1:10:21tend to put their head down there.
- 1:10:22So he definitely would struggle a little bit on the past
- 1:10:25attempt. But as far as a pulling guard
- 1:10:26you probably don't want, you probably ain't going to see
- 1:10:28nothing too much better than that coming out of his class.
- 1:10:32Look, I he's a local guy. This is this is Don Bosco, the
- 1:10:36the pride of Tommy Cutlets. All right, name school.
- 1:10:40All right, Don Bosco. I drive by it all the time.
- 1:10:42I'm. Sniffing.
- 1:10:43Sorry buddy. I can see the giants pulling the
- 1:10:45plug. I can see the Giants pulling the
- 1:10:47plug on this pit. I hope they.
- 1:10:48Don't they get they get 2 pits in third round, right?
- 1:10:52No, they only have. They got flapped out.
- 1:10:54It's a second round pick. They don't have a third round
- 1:10:56pick. Or they don't got a third round,
- 1:10:58Yeah. So just quick on this guy.
- 1:11:00I, I'm not as high on him. I, I look, he's, he's an
- 1:11:04athlete, but he's the better athlete than what his tape
- 1:11:07shows. His tape has shown him getting
- 1:11:10beat on the outside a lot. His hands fall off guys like
- 1:11:14he's got to, he's got to work on the technique.
- 1:11:16He needs to go to somewhere good.
- 1:11:17He's I think he's a little bit further down in my opinion
- 1:11:21towards the end of the second early 3rd and some of these
- 1:11:23other guys that we've seen talked about tonight, but guys
- 1:11:27that is the NFL draft offensive prospect preview.
- 1:11:32We will get into the defense, which is a little loaded this
- 1:11:37year on. On Monday, that's it for a show.
- 1:11:40Thank you to all the Spotify and Apple video and audio fans, all
- 1:11:44the TikTok, all the X, whatever you call it, Twitter, the TikTok
- 1:11:48X Instagram. And yeah, that does not look
- 1:11:52like me. That doesn't make any sense,
- 1:11:54but. That's why you cut your beard.
- 1:11:56Cut my beard. Shut up you all the YouTube
- 1:11:59fans. That's for men, Gel, Yeah.
- 1:12:01All the YouTube fans and all the idiots that listen to these
- 1:12:04idiots. Thank you.
- 1:12:06I I will see you guys next week. I gotta go.
