- 0:01I have to say though, that his mobility scooter advert is
- 0:05absolutely the stuff of nightmares.
- 0:07Oh, don't. Where's that?
- 0:08I've not seen that. Have you not seen?
- 0:10No, I'll put all those. I'll find it on YouTube and send
- 0:14it to you. It's really, really.
- 0:16It's so strange. I mean, there's nothing he does
- 0:19that I don't. Think it's blissful?
- 0:21Yeah, it's just, it's it's just so because he's doing the voice
- 0:25over as if he's narrating a historical documentary.
- 0:30So there is Paul Darrow on a mobility scooter.
- 0:33No reason why he shouldn't be, except it's Paul Darrow so of
- 0:36course he shouldn't be on a mobility.
- 0:39Trouble is now every time because I'm a first aider at
- 0:41work, so every. Time there's a medical verge
- 0:43deal or an incident, I just go, you know?
- 0:45Someone call the police. Why are you talking?
- 0:50Like that, as long as you don't say your wife has been murdered,
- 0:52you'll be fine. I did get to say the other day I
- 0:55was strictly come hamster. Some people depart strictly come
- 0:59hamster with a scream, right? Who's going to intro free then?
- 1:06Dave, Are you happy to do it? Yeah, if you want.
- 1:09Yeah, you. Remember what you got to say,
- 1:11right? Yes, and should be starting this
- 1:14with hello, welcome to a kettle and a piece of string.
- 1:17OK. I want a bit more.
- 1:20Oh no, cool, actually do it. We're sending.
- 1:22You the Paul Darrow. Fuse the.
- 1:23Hell out of people. Oh, OK, hang on, let's have a
- 1:26quick look before we go in. Is it on the I'm?
- 1:31Just putting. It in Oh yeah, I got it.
- 1:33I got it, Yeah. Oh no, Already it looks a bit
- 1:37crazy. It's just fabulous.
- 1:38So it's just more important that.
- 1:40Those who aren't quite as mobile as they once were should enjoy
- 1:43the freedom and independence when they want, when they want.
- 1:47It's just like a cheese dream, it's really.
- 1:50Active and their range of easy to drive mobility.

- 2:10So like he's. Taking the piss, he's.
- 2:13So sinister though. Isn't it just I saw I was
- 2:19watching a game recently the Tom Baker outtake it's on him
- 2:23YouTube when he's he was doing the voice over for Symphony 08.
- 2:271085 Eighty 545. 8080 Five 85. 40.

- 3:09Hamster with a blunt. Pen knife for doing quicker
- 3:11quicker. Welcome back to Hamster with a
- 3:14blunt pen Knife, The Doctor Who Commentary podcast.
- 3:17Not commentaries. Fraser, Sorry.
- 3:19And we're here. I'm here.
- 3:23I'm Dave with King Hamster Joe Force.
- 3:26Hello, Joe. Hello there.
- 3:28I'm here. I'm having a wonderful time.
- 3:29Thank you. And Lucy Mccall's here as well.
- 3:32Say hello, Lucy. Hello.
- 3:34And the dishing Daniel Knight. Fishing.
- 3:38What am I dishing? Out.
- 3:46Hello. Yes, sorry, yes, sorry.
- 3:49I'm trying to find a clip of Paul de Arrow.
- 3:51He. Don't know what to do with a.
- 3:52Compliment. All right, Lucy, Can I?
- 3:57Say I'll tell you what, you deliver your opinion with so
- 4:00much passion, and yet whenever you say hello at the start of an
- 4:03episode, you sound so mousy. What can I?
- 4:09Say, I think you lull us all into your false sense of
- 4:11security. And then when our defences are
- 4:13down, Wham. I just get carried away.
- 4:17That's wonderful. Never stop.
- 4:20Absolutely, yeah. Oh, sorry.
- 4:22Come on, back to you. Oh, that.
- 4:25Carry on. Yeah, come on.
- 4:27This is yours. Podcast Joe.
- 4:29Yeah. I can't be obvious, if I'm
- 4:30honest. Go on, off you go.
- 4:31Oh well, between episodes we've been talking about Paul Darrow
- 4:34and his wonderful performances, but unfortunately the story
- 4:38we're watching at the moment hasn't got Paul Darrow in it
- 4:40now. Well, you just.
- 4:41Do the line. Though very very quickly.
- 4:44Go on. Do the line.
- 4:48What D Paul Darrow in? No, the one from the advert, the
- 4:51one from the crime program. My wife has been murdered.
- 4:58Someone called the police. But we're watching Enemy of the
- 5:05World, we're up to Episode V and we're very much enjoying
- 5:09ourselves. And we're going to see a certain
- 5:11cook and some cut, cuddly, culinary, can't even see it
- 5:16cooking sort of scenes in this one.
- 5:19And we'll see what happens next. My mother was right what she
- 5:24wanted me to be a dustman. Isn't that what he says?
- 5:28I love him so much. Well, someone count us in, OK?
- 5:37After you, Lucy. OK, so in 5432?
- 5:421. Go.
- 5:47Is it just an excuse to give Victoria something to do,
- 5:49getting her in that kitchen? Possibly.
- 5:52I mean, it does she, she, what would she be doing otherwise?
- 5:57Hanging around with Giles Kent? That's not ideal and and she
- 6:03wouldn't be running around with Astrid doing action stuff.
- 6:06But it also it gives her a chance to sort of grow a bit as
- 6:10a character too. Because it kind of first of all,
- 6:12it exposes the fact that she comes from a privileged
- 6:14background. Again, in case we'd forgotten,
- 6:17because she doesn't really know anything about cooking, she just
- 6:20knows about eating, you know, So when they ask her for a recipe,
- 6:24it's like always, I think it had this in it and I think, you
- 6:26know, we had this lovely pudding that would.
- 6:29You just sort of. Whoosh it all out together.
- 6:31Yeah, yeah. So she doesn't really know.
- 6:34It's so she isn't, she clearly isn't who she says she is in
- 6:38that in working in the kitchen. But sorry, I was distracted by
- 6:45the zips. Am I, am I saying that Jamie's
- 6:47appeared in this The wet suit between the episodes?
- 6:50We don't vote with song, go in it.
- 6:51He's changed. He's changed.
- 6:54Yeah, since we. Yeah, he hasn't changed.
- 6:55Doesn't he? Yeah, I wonder if the the
- 6:58dissatisfaction with this episode when the other 5 didn't
- 7:03exist was there. There's no reap, reprise or
- 7:06reprise depending on how you pronounce it to episode 2.
- 7:09It just goes straight in to to the first scene.
- 7:13There's no yeah. So we don't get anything from
- 7:17episode 2, which is sort of sometimes that's sort of like a
- 7:21little bit of a bonus or we get a little bit of episode 2 at the
- 7:24end of at the beginning of the first episode.
- 7:26And I it's, but it's straight into, you know, Dennis being
- 7:31arrested. That is the cheapest and least
- 7:34well concealed wall safe I've ever seen in my life.
- 7:39Look at it, you can tell it's there.
- 7:42I don't think he closes it properly.
- 7:47I seem to remember my parents, this is back in the 70s, had
- 7:53bathroom tiles like that wallpaper.
- 7:55It was the absolutely the worst thing to look at if you were
- 7:58feeling ill. 60s and 70s had a lot to answer for.
- 8:03Oh, the 70s, when everything that wasn't brown was orange and
- 8:06everything that wasn't orange was brown.
- 8:08You know what, Rob? We moved my uncle out of his
- 8:11flat that he's had since 71, right about 3 years ago, and the
- 8:16wallpaper was still these enormous brown and orange floral
- 8:21prints. I was like, how have you put up
- 8:24with that for 40 years? After a while it just.
- 8:28It's just what it is. It's just there.
- 8:29If it was new you'd notice it, but.
- 8:32That's true. It was hideous though.
- 8:34Garish was probably the worst I. Remember Deb and I, when we,
- 8:37when we moved to where we are now, we were looking at various
- 8:41houses. There was one house which the,
- 8:43the, the kitchen was sort of very, sort of old fashioned
- 8:48woods panelling with brown. And it was was like stepping
- 8:52into, you know, Delia Smith's kitchen from 1975.
- 8:57Oh, just what's your Jamie, Your, your, your guard has just
- 9:03turned up. Oh.
- 9:04Yanish. Yes, you.
- 9:06Know Yes. Do you know which episode of
- 9:09Blake 7 he wrote? Wrote you wrote.
- 9:12Yeah. Did he?
- 9:14It's telling Bill Lyons is the actor's name was.
- 9:17It a banger. It depends on your point of
- 9:21view. Well, which episode was it?
- 9:24I know you've got to guess. Come on, there's only thing.
- 9:27Oh, I. Never wrote the worst one.
- 9:29Volcano He. Didn't write.
- 9:30He didn't write the worst one. No.
- 9:32No in season D. Oh, I like a lot.
- 9:38Not star drive. No, that was James.
- 9:40No, no, it's not star Drive. No, not animals.
- 9:46Not animals, no, that's. True, it's not Albee because
- 9:50that's Robert Holmes. Is it the second to last one?
- 9:55No. Oh, it's gone.
- 9:56Tell me I've not headhunter. No.
- 9:59Oh. My God, no, I've I'm out of.
- 10:02Options think Oh I was going to say this.
- 10:09The episode features location used in Doctor Who a couple of
- 10:14times and also in Andor the the new the recent Star Wars series.
- 10:22No, I'm none the wiser. I don't think.
- 10:27What do you think? This is the quiz of Russell on.
- 10:31Look and the chef's arrived. And.
- 10:34We just take Jamie. We just.
- 10:35Take Jamie telling Bruce that he had better things to do than
- 10:39answer his questions as well. Which was?
- 10:41Quite a moment I'm. Sorry, that's.
- 10:44The same know. What episode it was?
- 10:46Games. Games.
- 10:48Oh no, Oh no, That's quite a good one.
- 10:51Yeah. What did you have for jobs?
- 10:55And also the guy who plays the president in Caves Vandrossani.
- 10:59Yeah, there's fabulous scenes with Jacqueline Pearce and that
- 11:03other lady in the quarry watching all the games.
- 11:06Is that right? Was that assassin?
- 11:07No, that's assassin. That's that's.
- 11:09Amazing. Do you remember?
- 11:10Cancel the assassin. Oh, she's hilarious.
- 11:14She's she's terrible. She died brilliant.
- 11:18Oh, sorry, I've only. Talked a couple of months ago
- 11:19and. I'm talking about it.
- 11:21We we always said about how wonderful the chef is, and we're
- 11:24talking about Blake 7 while he's on it.
- 11:26Could be worse. We could have rats gnawing the
- 11:27gas pump. We'll write out the menus.
- 11:29Sorry, I'm doing a Matthew Walls house and quoting the the lines
- 11:33on the commentary. Do you guys want to do something
- 11:35useful? We'll sit down and write.
- 11:36Out those menus now. Then cause affected by
- 11:39earthquakes. This is too.
- 11:43I'm going for a walk. It'll probably rain.
- 11:48But it does give everyone a bit of comedy as well.
- 11:51He's only in this episode, isn't he?
- 11:53Yeah, First course interrupted by bomb explosion.
- 11:57Second course affected by earthquakes.
- 11:59Oh this is great with Faria telling to Victoria.
- 12:02Just get out of here. Yeah.
- 12:04Don't get stuck here like I am. And they all think that Jamie's
- 12:10Victoria's boyfriend come for a bit of nookie on his break.
- 12:16Yes, that's it, she's saying. Don't.
- 12:20But I suppose they've been said in Hamlet to find out whether
- 12:23Salamander is as evil as they're all saying is, and they're
- 12:27convinced. So then they'll go back and tell
- 12:29the doctor and then he'll get involved.
- 12:31But it's so weird to not have Doctor involved.
- 12:37In other it would be the other way around.
- 12:39The Doctor goes to investigate and the companions are left
- 12:41waiting. But here, yeah, it's the other
- 12:44way around. Through.
- 12:45Sort of casting necessity. But.
- 12:47Also potentially if you're going to make it sort of a plot point,
- 12:53if he doesn't trust, I think he trusts Astrid more or less, but
- 12:56he certainly doesn't trust Charles Kent.
- 12:58Would he want to leave Victoria and Jamie with him?
- 13:01I I know it's because of the the nature of the plot and them
- 13:04having to play the same character, but if you're going
- 13:06to make it into sort of dramatically sound.
- 13:09Although is this a better option leaving her in Salamander's
- 13:12lair? Well, I don't know.
- 13:14Yeah. All they're watching.
- 13:16Is the footage again? Oh yeah, yeah, now.
- 13:20Jamie's explaining what's what's going to happen and he's right
- 13:23on it. He's he knows this is how, this
- 13:25is how it works with power struggles.
- 13:27He's explaining precisely. This is the pre titles of every
- 13:31single episode of Inferno. In Season 7 that you, you
- 13:35replace a, you replace a stronger man with a weaker 1 and
- 13:40then use him. And so he, he knows, he knows
- 13:42how it works, he knows what's happening.
- 13:44And we just missed the the book about travel as well.
- 13:48Yeah, that's that's what passed out, but.
- 13:50Yeah. And also Bruce starting to turn
- 13:52a little bit and saying that he wants that he thinks he should
- 13:55be treated with the the prisoner should be treated with dignity
- 14:00and not held in the corridor. So he's he's starting to kick a
- 14:02little bit as well. Be an exhibit of his big moment
- 14:07in a minute where he's comes in with the garden, acts like he
- 14:10owns the place. Oh really?
- 14:13From the old days? The picture.
- 14:16Why has he got a picture of yourself on the wall?
- 14:18Where's? He goes.
- 14:22There isn't much. From myself, from, you know,
- 14:24when I got my degree. It's probably vanity.
- 14:27Sorry. To to be fair, I'm just looking
- 14:29at my own house and thinking I've got a couple of.
- 14:31You know what, given how many fucking selfies I'll post
- 14:34online, there's got a single. Picture of me anywhere.
- 14:38No, I haven't got. I haven't got any up.
- 14:41I've got Jodie Whisker on the wall.
- 14:42I've beat the beat. That well.
- 14:45Yeah, a sort of gentle and Hyde character, perhaps, are Mr.
- 14:50Salamander. And he has to go into a box.
- 14:56I was made out to be the criminal, but so he's all the
- 14:58time the the doctor is thinking about.
- 15:01He's not thinking about Salamander, he's thinking about
- 15:03Kent. And.
- 15:05What does he gain from this? And who is this man and what's
- 15:07going? What's really going on?
- 15:09I agree with the doctor here as well.
- 15:11I hate seeing all this crockery being smashed up.
- 15:15Yes, senseless waste. There's plenty of air in here.
- 15:18Yes, yes. Yes, there's a perfect view of
- 15:23the research centre from here. A relic from the old days.
- 15:28Oh, don't you love our camp? He is when he goes.
- 15:30What's it? Well, there's not much point in
- 15:32you staying here now, is there? That's enough.
- 15:38Don't know even. Does he smash the plate?
- 15:41The guard even then puts the body's gun down just to keep it
- 15:43in tiny little bits. Just to really emphasize.
- 15:47Yeah, I can do that. There's definitely a difference
- 15:49between sort of funny camp and sinister camp, isn't there?
- 15:54Yes, and he manages to tread that line.
- 15:56So he's funny, but he's also really scary.
- 15:59Yeah, he's nasty. He's Yeah, he's really nasty
- 16:04under the surface. And also when Bruce was talking
- 16:07to him about Salamander. I've just spoken to Salamander.
- 16:10He wasn't sure, was he? He was, yeah.
- 16:13But what? What was this?
- 16:14I should know about this. Nobody told me.
- 16:15All just in the eyes in that moment.
- 16:18He's got. The hands on the hips as well,
- 16:20just. Yeah, and more important, I've
- 16:24got the hands on the hips. Yeah.
- 16:27Put your left foot in, your left foot out.
- 16:30What's his collar about? Oh man, he can pull it off.
- 16:35Proofs. Has got, they've all got sort of
- 16:36collars. It's sort of like a design.
- 16:38There's shiny collar, just make some.
- 16:40It's the the the future. The future in shiny collars.
- 16:45After all, guys, nobody will believe you, will they?
- 16:51OK, please stop, Nacho, you're creeping.
- 16:52Yeah. Sorry, sorry.
- 16:56He wants to destroy the world. This kid, why don't you believe
- 17:01me? Because.
- 17:02I am, at this this point, going doctor.
- 17:04Ketchup. He's going unpleasant, yes, but
- 17:06not necessarily evil. Oh.
- 17:08For God's sakes. Get on with it man.
- 17:12I have to say, I mean bilker, I've only ever seen him really
- 17:17in or heard him in Hancock's half hour.
- 17:19And this is a this is performance is a performance.
- 17:23There's nothing like that. So again, Barry Lex is getting
- 17:26some really strong performances out of these really good actors.
- 17:31And again, it's like they're getting a comedy, an actor known
- 17:34for comedy in to do Doctor Who. They still give a very good
- 17:37performance. This is our dart again.
- 17:40The doctors are talking. About people having nice things
- 17:44and other people break them and you're not sure who he's talking
- 17:47about there. You like wine?
- 17:50We drink wine together tonight. Charm.
- 17:54What doesn't it? Be like somebody I work with.
- 17:58Hey does. Yeah.
- 18:00Where is it you work exactly? You got his number, Daniel.
- 18:06He's not available. Oh.
- 18:09Damn, fair enough. Look at.
- 18:18Look at. Denish cocktishly reading his
- 18:21book. This the same main guard that
- 18:26she's given the notes to that he only appeared Julie This he only
- 18:29appeared in this episode as well I.
- 18:32Think so. Yeah.
- 18:34I mean, it is a placeholder reference.
- 18:36Is this all filler? I think it does move the plot
- 18:39along a bit because you've got rising tension between
- 18:45Salamander's people and Kent. You've got Kent still trying,
- 18:50you've got the doctor apparently not convinced, you've got an
- 18:58escape attempt, which won't work, but you know, nice try.
- 19:03And you've got further proof of Astrid being really brave as
- 19:07well, because she's and also you've got Victoria being told
- 19:12to get out of there. I think if this is filler, it's
- 19:16just stuff full of great character moments, so I don't
- 19:18care, you know? And I like these characters.
- 19:22He's back, the cook. Now we're a travel agency.
- 19:30I've met you. Before What's wrong?
- 19:32It's about to be something serious.
- 19:34Was it taste like terrible, terrible.
- 19:35I'm going to get the sack tonight.
- 19:37I am. I love it.
- 19:38What is it? It says you don't cook like you.
- 19:40I hope. Good.
- 19:44It's Jamie's back in his civvies again, for he's adding.
- 19:48Up with the uniform, his serviette stuck in it, or
- 19:50napkins stuck in his, like a little kid.
- 19:53Yeah, of course. Maybe they'll shoot me so I
- 19:57won't have to worry anymore. It's great.
- 20:00Come all I say, how's the food? Terrible.
- 20:03Terrible. I mean, I do know people.
- 20:08They're cynical and they're a bit annoying, but on the TV it's
- 20:11very funny. Yeah.
- 20:15No, the firing squad would piss me.
- 20:17It's ready, such as it is. Oh this is great where Faria
- 20:22loses her shit. She just a little explodes,
- 20:24doesn't she? Yeah.
- 20:28But she's got like a warmth with Griff, hasn't she?
- 20:31Yes, yeah. I think as she knows how to get
- 20:33the best out of him, she's still there's.
- 20:36There's obviously a good relationship there that she
- 20:39knows how to calm him down and how to keep him sort of under
- 20:43control. It's quite, it's quite a grown
- 20:45up sort of relationship in a, in a way that it's you have people,
- 20:51you know, it's like Katie Manning used to be able to, to
- 20:53deflate John Perk with his temper with everybody.
- 20:59You know, he'd be able to, she'd be able to calm him down and.
- 21:03Yes, and now she's telling them why and what she's not telling
- 21:07them because she cuts off at that bit.
- 21:09But she's like, well, why do you go with him?
- 21:10Sometimes we have to do what we don't want to do.
- 21:14Salamone such a. Bullshitter, isn't it?
- 21:16I warned him about the earthquakes.
- 21:17He could have saved those people.
- 21:19Whatever. Yeah, yeah.
- 21:21I mean, we're supposed to loathe them.
- 21:23Aren't. We.
- 21:24Oh yeah, absolutely. And he's a, he's a, he's a, it's
- 21:28protection money. It's like that's what it is,
- 21:31isn't it? Oh nice country be shamed if
- 21:33something happened to it kind of thing.
- 21:36But I, I think that's where the Bond villain thing comes from,
- 21:38isn't it? In the fact that he's causing
- 21:40natural disasters, You know, he's doing it on such a scale,
- 21:43yes. He is like a Bond villain.
- 21:45Yeah, yeah, yeah. But.
- 21:47That wasn't that he's a cock fed in it.
- 21:50That's all here. What's great about it is then we
- 21:53get to go underground and see what is causing the earthquakes.
- 21:57Yes, I think he uses the extra episodes well.
- 22:02That's fabulous. Episode 4 of us about 5 minutes
- 22:04is just seen trout and going from a room and then down a big
- 22:08giant. With really spooky stop music.
- 22:14Oh no, no, Victoria, don't, don't go and get the salt.
- 22:17So there, he just nicked it. The Weasel.
- 22:21Yeah, I think that my head is I'm I've never got the the gun
- 22:24digging, no. He's he's poisoning the Federer.
- 22:27He's now poisoning poisoning the.
- 22:31So he's thinking of, he's thinking of, Yeah, he's
- 22:33contemplating it, isn't he? I don't even know.
- 22:37There's not all action. There's sort of plots and double
- 22:39plots figuring things out, you know?
- 22:42Yes, and now Astrid. Astrid's cover is being blown
- 22:47because the guard remembered seeing her in the park with
- 22:50Jamie and Victoria. Victoria's great in a minute as
- 22:53well. When the shit is the fat.
- 22:55She grabs that trolley, doesn't she?
- 22:56And shoves it. Into the girls.
- 22:58Yeah, she is. She's really, she's starting to
- 23:00show sort of ingenuity. But it's brutal as well because
- 23:04he gets shot in the back, Dennis.
- 23:07It's a very quick death. Yeah, for a character that's
- 23:11been in it for 2 1/2 episodes. It's a long time since I had my
- 23:16food cut up for me. How?
- 23:20Am I supposed to eat steak with a spoon?
- 23:23He's crying. I mean, it's the.
- 23:25Smallest best steak I've ever seen in my life is.
- 23:28That. What they call a la carte.
- 23:33I believe they are quite small portions.
- 23:37Nouvelle cuisine, I think it's. One of those restaurants where
- 23:40the prices are big and the menu and the portions are small.
- 23:46See, look at that. She gets she has to just say
- 23:48yes, Sir, right? And she could just say she goes
- 23:51yes and she goes after like sake defiant.
- 23:56She's got so much personality. Such a shame we lose her.
- 24:00I'll be glad of your company, but if you're glad, forgive me.
- 24:02I'm really glad of her. Yeah, sorry Griff, that meal
- 24:08looks miserable. Oh, this is great.
- 24:11Further than, you know, just crumbling and saying I couldn't
- 24:16do it, this powder, I couldn't kill someone, that he just goes,
- 24:20you know, don't worry about it. One chance, my friend, I said
- 24:24one. Chance.
- 24:24It's sort of like a very sinister smile.
- 24:29Yeah. And he was testing him to see if
- 24:31he could. But.
- 24:32Now he knows that he's unreliable as well.
- 24:36Doesn't fire this guy up so then he just poises him.
- 24:44You're up, we find another way. Of course you did.
- 24:49I love it. So crazy.
- 24:52And he's def as very swift. Yes.
- 24:58Wow, yeah. He's been weighed in the balance
- 25:01and found wanting to come from somewhere else.
- 25:04I never know that Alaska did wine.
- 25:07They do now in 2018. Give it a couple more years.
- 25:13A sort of super villain. Poison as immediate effects.
- 25:16Yes, some do. Yeah.
- 25:19I hope you would appreciate this wine, yeah.
- 25:24Don't you go Oh. Yeah, what a pity.
- 25:25Suicide, of course. Yeah.
- 25:30He's a terror, isn't he? Yeah.
- 25:35I swear he goes under the eye. He's under the table now with
- 25:38the cook. I keep forgetting his name.
- 25:41Griff Griffith. Yeah.
- 25:43Is it about the end to a perfect day?
- 25:45I know the food's bad, but you don't have to go that far back.
- 25:56Back All right, how about your own way?
- 25:57Yeah, wake up. But it also shows that that
- 26:02there are people who work for Salamander, sort of
- 26:06tangentially, who are just people.
- 26:10Yeah, they're all affected by. And they they are.
- 26:13Yes, he's working for a terrible, terrible man as a
- 26:15cook. That's a bit sort of clumsily
- 26:19edited. You go straight from Victoria,
- 26:23pushing the trolley against the the guards, and then suddenly
- 26:26they're in the It's sort of like a.
- 26:28Yeah. I did like Astrid.
- 26:34Saying sorry Yanos as she knocks him out though, yeah.
- 26:37One of those unconvincing Doctor Who sort of and and Blake 7 as
- 26:41well sort of karate chops. Oh, this is one of the best ever
- 26:45soap opera cliffhangers. It was you.
- 26:49Or Someone Like You. Hang on.
- 26:52It was you. Or Someone Like You.
- 26:59It's like in the close up as well.
- 27:00It's like the end of the Sons and Daughters episode or
- 27:03something. You know, like crickets in the
- 27:04background as well. So yeah.
- 27:07It's like a scene in Neighbours now with Terese doing her
- 27:10incredible eye acting that she does, you know?
- 27:19But I do think we have got to go underground or something new has
- 27:22to happen after this. We couldn't just keep doing.
- 27:25This because because it's not that people what people were I'm
- 27:28sure saying this is much like Doctor Who where's the.
- 27:31Where's the doctor? Why?
- 27:33Isn't the Doctor? And yes, we know that there,
- 27:35that there is something fishy going on with the natural
- 27:38disasters. So either Salamander has a way
- 27:41of predicting them or he has a way of controlling them.
- 27:44But we haven't seen what that is yet.
- 27:46And actually it turns out to be more science fiction than it
- 27:50might have been. So it's not just that there's a
- 27:53research base above ground with people pushing buttons.
- 27:55It's a whole other level of conspiracy and delusion going on
- 27:59under the ground. I'm sorry, it's just been Joe
- 28:02put my head when he said it was you.
- 28:07It's so funny. There we go, the end of the year
- 28:143. How are you finding it so far?
- 28:17Obviously we're only doing. Half the recording so.
- 28:20How's anybody in the world faring for you each, Lucy?
- 28:24Great so far, Yeah. Definitely enjoying.
- 28:27Daniel. I think we're enjoying it far
- 28:30too much, no? No.
- 28:33It's it's really good, Yeah. And I think it's, yeah, it's,
- 28:37it's not for nothing, but it's caches increased now that we can
- 28:42see it all over the last 10 years or so.
- 28:45Did you see how much it climbed that pole in the latest DWM
- 28:48pole? It was up about 12 places.
- 28:51Yeah. And Dave?
- 28:54I'm gripped. I want to see what Salamander's
- 28:57got BC what's he doing? What have you.
- 28:59Gripped. I'm so I'm so.
- 29:02Sorry. Oh yeah, sorry.
- 29:09You know what? I'll cut it there on a laugh.
- 29:12It's always good to render the laugh.
- 29:14I'll, I'll, I'll quickly have a listen to the tracks.
- 29:16Don't you worry, I won't be naming and.
- 29:17Shaming. I'll just be.
- 29:18Editing. OK, but you know, it's you, all
- 29:21right? I'm pointing at all of you.
- 29:22It's you and me. Or someone liking.
- 29:26You. This podcast has been murdered.
- 29:33Someone call the police.
