- 0:01Speaker 1: Jarrey, Katy and Josh six one hundred.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I thought we had almost lost Katie there for a
- 0:06Speaker 2: second right before we went on the air, was choking.
- 0:10Speaker 2: I didn't want to have to do mouth to mouth,
- 0:11Speaker 2: but that's what it came to. You were I stuck
- 0:15Speaker 2: my tongue in your mouth.
- 0:19Speaker 1: No, all right, this is hard to talk, breathe and
- 0:23Speaker 1: drink stuff.
- 0:24Speaker 2: You know, we're all emotional too. When you were talking
- 0:26Speaker 2: and she was talking about Chicago guy again.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I was really fired up.
- 0:29Speaker 2: I don't know if you're trying to kill yourself.
- 0:31Speaker 3: What did take yourself?
- 0:32Speaker 1: Wo? Happened so fast? But no, I'm fine. Everything's okay, good, Yeah,
- 0:37Speaker 1: we're back.
- 0:38Speaker 2: God, I got to hear about this wild weather day
- 0:41Speaker 2: that you were part of yesterday. Some riveting stuff here.
- 0:44Speaker 1: Well, driving south on I twenty five south of the city. Here,
- 0:48Speaker 1: if you saw any of that lightning at like four
- 0:51Speaker 1: o'clock ish, right, it was like three four o'clock that
- 0:54Speaker 1: this all happened. Oh my goodness, the kind of lightning
- 0:57Speaker 1: that like you see it from the sky go all
- 1:00Speaker 1: the way down to the ground, stayed there for like
- 1:03Speaker 1: two three.
- 1:03Speaker 2: Seconds for a little bit. Did you shopping? Yeah?
- 1:10Speaker 1: Fresh, but no I've never seen lightning do that. And
- 1:13Speaker 1: the entire light was just lighting up like fireworks the.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Sky, the sky.
- 1:18Speaker 1: But Josh, you said you saw too because you were running.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Yes, if you saw lightning yesterday, wild right, I can't
- 1:25Speaker 2: believe you.
- 1:27Speaker 1: I know you're just jealous.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I didn't get to see any lightning yesterday.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Yeah. No, it was these afternoon summer storms.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:36Speaker 1: They didn't see them coming at all.
- 1:38Speaker 2: And it rained on your clean car. Don't even okay,
- 1:43Speaker 2: if I already choked one, I ask you, did you
- 1:47Speaker 2: go to one of those car wash places where if
- 1:48Speaker 2: it rains, like within twenty four hours, you can sit
- 1:50Speaker 2: back in.
- 1:51Speaker 1: I think, But like, what if you don't have your receipt?
- 1:53Speaker 1: How do you make that happen? Can I show them?
- 1:55Speaker 1: Because it shows up on my you know.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Statement probaly could show like.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Literally yesterday after the show, I went and zipped through
- 2:03Speaker 1: a car wash, got her all done, car looked great,
- 2:06Speaker 1: and I went to go have lunch and it torrentially
- 2:10Speaker 1: downpoured on my car.
- 2:12Speaker 4: Day.
- 2:12Speaker 1: I know it's jermy, You have no idea, no wonder I'm.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Choking overing was on the ground and it rained on
- 2:19Speaker 2: your car functioning. I think you could probably roll. And
- 2:23Speaker 2: it's generally a bunch of dudes at those car washes.
- 2:25Speaker 2: You probably could just flash them in the what you threw.
- 2:28Speaker 1: It doesn't work, That does work.
- 2:29Speaker 2: You're right done there, honestly, I know it. It does work.
- 2:33Speaker 1: It's like currency.
- 2:34Speaker 2: Time for a little sports update. I was perusing this
- 2:38Speaker 2: story that came out from bro Bid bro Bible yesterday
- 2:42Speaker 2: of the twenty priceiest sports cards ever sold. And I
- 2:46Speaker 2: always shake my head at these stories because it's like,
- 2:48Speaker 2: it's a little piece of cardboard.
- 2:50Speaker 1: It's a little teeny tiny piece of cardboard that holds
- 2:54Speaker 1: so much, so much value you and so many just memory.
- 2:58Speaker 2: It is amazing. It's ridiculous, is what it is. Number
- 3:02Speaker 2: one was the Michael Jordan Kobe Bryant two thousand and
- 3:05Speaker 2: seven Upper Deck Exquisite Collection Dual Logo Man Autographed card.
- 3:10Speaker 2: WHOA that's been pack thirteen million dollars for a piece
- 3:15Speaker 2: of cardboard.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Well that one, I mean obviously, because pretty solid, yeah.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Said j Actually the second most expensive piece of sports
- 3:23Speaker 2: memorabilia ever sold, after the Jersey Babe Ruth war when
- 3:28Speaker 2: he called his shot back in nineteen thirty two at
- 3:30Speaker 2: the World Series. Katie you were there, that sold for
- 3:34Speaker 2: just shy of twenty five million dollars. But yeah, I
- 3:37Speaker 2: just saw these and I'm like, wow, there's so much
- 3:39Speaker 2: money going out on sports cards. It's absolutely nutty Wagner.
- 3:42Speaker 2: I think, yeah, seven point twenty five million, that one was.
- 3:45Speaker 4: The most expensive for a while, and I'm like, who
- 3:46Speaker 4: the heck is that guy played in like the nineteen tens.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Yeah, that was number three on the list. Mickey Mantle
- 3:51Speaker 2: is second at thirteen million.
- 3:53Speaker 1: When you talk about that Babe Ruth moment, though, like
- 3:55Speaker 1: you just say it and everybody sees the picture of
- 3:58Speaker 1: him pointing to the state the Great Bambino, like that
- 4:02Speaker 1: is such a niconic image, and so I can understand
- 4:05Speaker 1: why it holds so much value along with it. I mean,
- 4:08Speaker 1: come on, babe.
- 4:11Speaker 2: You yeah, it's from a movie, Okay. And then one
- 4:14Speaker 2: final thing for all the athletes who need a little
- 4:16Speaker 2: recovery time, Nike is going to be dropping some limited
- 4:20Speaker 2: edition slides. Slides are very popular right now. They're called
- 4:24Speaker 2: recovery slides, which heat and massage your feet as you're
- 4:30Speaker 2: laying around the house watching Netflix. You gotta put them
- 4:35Speaker 2: on your feet, don't use them for anything else. Don't
- 4:40Speaker 2: you do it? But they do heat and massage.
- 4:44Speaker 1: I mean, who wouldn't want that though?
- 4:45Speaker 2: Come on, yeah, it does sound pretty.
- 4:47Speaker 1: Nice, way better than most men.
- 4:49Speaker 2: Yeah right, so yes, slide goes on while you're watching.
- 4:52Speaker 1: Them dube and yeah, no, I love that.
- 4:55Speaker 2: What else is going on in purchase?
- 4:56Speaker 3: Well, Broncos training camp is ramping up.
- 4:59Speaker 4: Tomorrow is the first first day for public viewing, which
- 5:02Speaker 4: is going to be so exciting. I know the crowd
- 5:04Speaker 4: is going to be great there.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Tomorrow.
- 5:05Speaker 4: They're going to be met with a massive new building
- 5:09Speaker 4: that the Broncos head set up over the last couple
- 5:11Speaker 4: of years, the three story, two hundred and five thousand
- 5:14Speaker 4: square foot training facility.
- 5:16Speaker 2: It's ridiculous.
- 5:17Speaker 4: All the bells and whistles, from a player friendly locker
- 5:20Speaker 4: room designed to promote a social atmosphere Jerry Series into
- 5:24Speaker 4: the cafeteria to underground parking facility.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Has it all.
- 5:28Speaker 4: Yeah, we saw pictures. They just released it yesterday. Quinn
- 5:30Speaker 4: Miners is the all star guard there. He says, this
- 5:33Speaker 4: is absolutely ridiculous.
- 5:34Speaker 2: It's ridiculous. It is so over the top for these
- 5:39Speaker 2: guys to go sit around on couches and have snacks
- 5:41Speaker 2: and stuff it's so over the top, it's ridiculous. No,
- 5:44Speaker 2: let's get some facilities like this for some of our
- 5:47Speaker 2: firefighters and police officers and I agree, and teachers and nurses.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but you can't take away what the players, because
- 5:54Speaker 1: that's the thing is something like that is kind of
- 5:57Speaker 1: like a draw to players coming to Denver.
- 6:00Speaker 4: And that's that's the main point you want to drop
- 6:04Speaker 4: Colorado for for almost every sport has kind of been
- 6:07Speaker 4: the flyover state. And because we are a championship city, Nuggets, Apps,
- 6:11Speaker 4: Broncos too much. Champions okay, and so you need to
- 6:15Speaker 4: have other things other than hey, we're a good team.
- 6:18Speaker 3: You have to have the nice facilities now. It just
- 6:20Speaker 3: is what it is.
- 6:21Speaker 2: And if they get paid enough money, they're fine. They're
- 6:23Speaker 2: doing okay. I want some firefighters and police officers to
- 6:27Speaker 2: have some facilities like this, people who actually put their
- 6:29Speaker 2: lives on the line. Exactly not the same.
- 6:34Speaker 1: But we can have both. That's all I'm saying is
- 6:36Speaker 1: I feel like we can. There's a way we can
- 6:38Speaker 1: achieve both.
- 6:40Speaker 2: We can't have harmony, it's too much challenge.
- 6:44Speaker 3: Remember they made the AFC Championship last year. They expectations.
- 6:48Speaker 3: You want to treat those players.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Police officers are saving people's lives every.
- 6:52Speaker 3: Day, understand.
- 6:53Speaker 2: Give them an awesome place to go hang out with
- 6:56Speaker 2: the cafeteria and big TVs and beautiful work affacide.
- 7:00Speaker 1: Maybe you could write the members of the Denver Broncos
- 7:03Speaker 1: a very passionate lesson.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Yes, maybe your one. In the off season. Police officers
- 7:08Speaker 2: and firefighters can go over there and work out and
- 7:10Speaker 2: hang out. I love that idea. That's a good idea.
- 7:12Speaker 2: What start that letter?
- 7:14Speaker 3: Write a letter. They'll burn it in the new fireplace
- 7:16Speaker 3: at the facility.
- 7:16Speaker 2: It's the name of our congressman. Yeah, all right, I'm
- 7:24Speaker 2: gonna find out who to write a letter to. Okay,
- 7:27Speaker 2: and I'm going to do it. Is Pat Bowling still around?
- 7:29Speaker 2: Oh No, I can't write him. I'll be thinking about it.
- 7:34Speaker 2: Thanks for having some fun with us today. What's blowing up?
- 7:38Speaker 1: We've got receipts, We've got drummers, We've got Denver talking
- 7:43Speaker 1: gets the mile High Hike where the JKJ icon on
- 7:47Speaker 1: mixed one hundred.
- 7:48Speaker 2: Well, I do want to let you know that a
- 7:50Speaker 2: lot of your coworkers and your friends and family might
- 7:52Speaker 2: be farting a lot today because it's National Chili dog
- 7:57Speaker 2: day today.
- 8:02Speaker 3: I hope you won't give me guess to know.
- 8:11Speaker 2: Oh boy, oh no.
- 8:12Speaker 1: Cheese, weas you're the cause of my pants?
- 8:18Speaker 2: Be okay, one more Homer there? It is all right?
- 8:26Speaker 2: Well anyway, it's good day to get a little chili
- 8:29Speaker 2: on your wiener. I'm a fan of the chili dog,
- 8:31Speaker 2: I really am, you know, load it up, put some
- 8:34Speaker 2: cheese on there and give it.
- 8:35Speaker 1: Absolutely.
- 8:36Speaker 2: Today's the day you're gonna dive into it.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Do it Colorado and do a green chili dog really good?
- 8:42Speaker 1: I love green chili dog.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Doesn't that good? It's gotta be a thick green chili though, right,
- 8:48Speaker 2: or your bun's gonna get soggy to.
- 8:53Speaker 1: Your life.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Give me some of that on a hot I drip
- 8:57Speaker 2: that on my shirt. So good. It's a bad day
- 9:01Speaker 2: to wear a white shirt. Get this the historic Cathedral
- 9:05Speaker 2: height the Cathedral High School building, eighteen forty Grant Street.
- 9:09Speaker 2: It's been vacant for more than a decade. Broken windows, graffiti, peeling, paint,
- 9:15Speaker 2: hazardous materials inside. Hey, that's a fun place to hang
- 9:18Speaker 2: out anyway. A local developer purchased a properly property for
- 9:22Speaker 2: about a million dollars, and now he wants to turn
- 9:24Speaker 2: it into a boutique hotel fifty sixty rooms with a restaurant,
- 9:29Speaker 2: a cafe. I think this is kind of a neat idea. Yeah, yeah,
- 9:34Speaker 2: especially like an old school building like that former high school.
- 9:38Speaker 2: I would stay in somewhere like that. It's very much
- 9:41Speaker 2: along the lines of how I want to live in,
- 9:43Speaker 2: like in a gas station or an old firehouse. Yeah,
- 9:46Speaker 2: you know when they revamp it a church. Did you
- 9:49Speaker 2: live in an old church, kid? You feel like you
- 9:51Speaker 2: can catch on fire.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Well, there's just too many things that happened in the church.
- 9:55Speaker 1: I don't want to be a back with that. I
- 9:56Speaker 1: would like to visit, but I don't want to live there.
- 9:58Speaker 1: We'll think of all the things that happened to church,
- 10:00Speaker 1: like lots of stuff, praying on the marriage's funerals, you
- 10:06Speaker 1: get babies baptized. There's a lot of spirits.
- 10:11Speaker 3: Like good spirits.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Probably fine, unless the deceased comebacks and haunted.
- 10:16Speaker 1: Exactly like angels vanished and become demons. Sometimes I know,
- 10:23Speaker 1: I don't know, Like so they're right outside the front door,
- 10:26Speaker 1: they're just waiting. I'd like to visit. I don't know
- 10:29Speaker 1: if i'd want to live in one.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Okay, well, then don't never mind. I know Katie Perry's
- 10:34Speaker 2: making the news this morning because she was in full
- 10:36Speaker 2: panic mode. She got into some sort of gigantic water
- 10:40Speaker 2: bottle one of her latest concerts, like you can fit
- 10:43Speaker 2: a person in it, and they pushed it out into
- 10:45Speaker 2: the crowd, and they were crowdsurfing this water bottle, and
- 10:48Speaker 2: they started taking her.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Way out into the crowd.
- 10:52Speaker 2: And I pulled some audio of her kind of panicking.
- 11:04Speaker 2: You gotta watch the video of it. It's kind of neat, actually,
- 11:07Speaker 2: the gigantic water bottle being inside that, she looked like,
- 11:10Speaker 2: I don't like a hamster or something in that. But
- 11:13Speaker 2: then she went way out there.
- 11:14Speaker 1: Take me back to the station. She gotta do something
- 11:17Speaker 1: to get us talking about her, because man, her shows.
- 11:20Speaker 2: She's really gone kind of downhill. What happened there?
- 11:24Speaker 1: I think it's just the whole it's hard to get
- 11:28Speaker 1: out and see. I don't know. I don't know what
- 11:30Speaker 1: it is, because I know Katy Perry started off pretty strong.
- 11:33Speaker 1: There's a lot of people who still love Katy Perry,
- 11:36Speaker 1: but I know her tour was just like me, yeah,
- 11:39Speaker 1: all right, what you got, Okay, Well, let's start it
- 11:41Speaker 1: up here. Because first things first, did you know the
- 11:45Speaker 1: city of Arvada has a drone first responder unit?
- 11:49Speaker 5: What?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 11:51Speaker 1: And a redtail hawk took off took one out while
- 11:54Speaker 1: they were both flying high in the Colorado sky. Yes,
- 11:58Speaker 1: and it was caught on camera from multiple angles, so
- 12:02Speaker 1: it is pretty spectacular. The officers they were looking into
- 12:05Speaker 1: a condemned shed when the drone, uh excuse me, with
- 12:09Speaker 1: the drone and then the hawk snatched it right out
- 12:11Speaker 1: of the sky. So the neat thing about it is
- 12:13Speaker 1: the camera angles, because you get the drone footage, but
- 12:15Speaker 1: you also get the body cam from the officer, so
- 12:17Speaker 1: you can see it all from their point of view
- 12:20Speaker 1: as well as from the actual drone, and you see
- 12:22Speaker 1: like a wing of a hawk.
- 12:23Speaker 2: But then it.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Deployed its parachute, the hawk went flying off. The hawk
- 12:27Speaker 1: is fine, and it got stuffed in a tree. So
- 12:29Speaker 1: everything worked out, like they're saying, everything worked out the
- 12:32Speaker 1: way it wanted to. But it is wild to see
- 12:34Speaker 1: this video of the hawk try and grab it thinking
- 12:36Speaker 1: that it's some kind of oe or something. You know.
- 12:40Speaker 2: I was just reading a story about drones about how
- 12:42Speaker 2: this is fascinating. Some high schools are starting to install
- 12:46Speaker 2: drones in the high school. So if there's ever any
- 12:49Speaker 2: sort of active situation, let's say the drones they deploy
- 12:54Speaker 2: in the hallways and they're able to like immediately get
- 12:57Speaker 2: to you. I saw that that student and you know,
- 12:59Speaker 2: pepper spray the but jesus out or you know, I
- 13:02Speaker 2: don't know what it does. Maybe a machete comes down
- 13:05Speaker 2: and slices their arm off or something. Yeah, but that's
- 13:07Speaker 2: really neat. I'm impressed by that. Absolute Look, like, what
- 13:10Speaker 2: a brilliant idea.
- 13:11Speaker 1: What technology, Like a lot of we focus on a
- 13:13Speaker 1: lot of the bad because it scares us and we're like, wait,
- 13:15Speaker 1: what are the robots doing?
- 13:17Speaker 2: You just don't want it to malfunction in the middle
- 13:18Speaker 2: of chemistry class, I know, zipping in and spray your teacher.
- 13:21Speaker 1: The drones are yeah, exactly. So, yeah, a really neat
- 13:26Speaker 1: video for you to go check out there about that
- 13:27Speaker 1: redtail hawk. But this is also a nice story from
- 13:29Speaker 1: unincorporated Adams County. So they have experienced a significant drop
- 13:35Speaker 1: in many crime categories. We're talking homicides down thirty eight
- 13:39Speaker 1: percent in twenty twenty five, burglaries down forty one percent,
- 13:43Speaker 1: and the big one was the motor vehicle thefts down
- 13:46Speaker 1: fifty eight percent. What do they attribute to So the
- 13:49Speaker 1: motor the motor, No, the motor vehicle thefts. For one,
- 13:52Speaker 1: it's out at DIA that's where the majority of the
- 13:54Speaker 1: thefts occurred. And they've done a lot of stuff out
- 13:56Speaker 1: there to help curb thefts. They've got a lot more
- 13:59Speaker 1: security out there there. They've made the parking lot a
- 14:01Speaker 1: lot more like you have to check in and out.
- 14:04Speaker 1: It's a lot more official. So that's a big thing.
- 14:07Speaker 1: And it's just really i mean, just the advancement again,
- 14:10Speaker 1: like we said, with technologies. The drones are helping out
- 14:12Speaker 1: a lot and a lot of these things. When you
- 14:14Speaker 1: come to they're seeing a lot more of it, so
- 14:16Speaker 1: they're able to catch the perks and whatnot. There's a lot.
- 14:20Speaker 1: So this is unincorporated Adams County. And again the sheriff
- 14:23Speaker 1: who was talking about it said in twenty twenty three
- 14:26Speaker 1: that they were the worst, the worst for auto thefts
- 14:30Speaker 1: and now this has really helped that. And again a
- 14:32Speaker 1: job sheriff for them, So yay. And then just one
- 14:35Speaker 1: more another bear story, multiple bear stories in fact, as
- 14:39Speaker 1: they're getting even wilder. One in Nanitoud Springs yesterday cops
- 14:43Speaker 1: had to free this bear from a car after.
- 14:45Speaker 2: He got his self stuck cars. They do, we.
- 14:50Speaker 1: Send me things. So if you have something that's in
- 14:52Speaker 1: your car and it's like, like, really it smells good. Right,
- 14:57Speaker 1: And even if I think of the that idea, bears
- 15:01Speaker 1: can smell that, they say over two thousand times the.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Sense of smell miles away.
- 15:06Speaker 1: They can smell things like crazy. And then another one
- 15:10Speaker 1: in love when this one just wait, a woman says
- 15:13Speaker 1: she came across a bear in her living room. I
- 15:18Speaker 1: was uncomfortable with the bear in my house. In this case,
- 15:20Speaker 1: I was three feet away, three feet that close to her.
- 15:24Speaker 2: And it's my pepper spray drone.
- 15:26Speaker 1: Such a sweet little berry Nona though with that one.
- 15:28Speaker 1: But yeah, she said, she came around the corner and
- 15:30Speaker 1: she just says, but I would be like And then
- 15:37Speaker 1: just one more bear story. A bear stole a picnic
- 15:40Speaker 1: basket in Commerce City.
- 15:41Speaker 2: Perfect. I'm just kidding about that.
- 15:46Speaker 1: It is.
- 15:47Speaker 2: It has been a wild year for bears though I
- 15:49Speaker 2: have never really I don't remember any any summer like
- 15:53Speaker 2: this in recent history where so many bear sightings have
- 15:56Speaker 2: been out there, coming.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Up close to injured or anything.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Right, Well, let's not talk about that. Yeah, we canceled kids.
- 16:06Speaker 2: If you're getting ready to head out to work today
- 16:10Speaker 2: or wow, some of you might be in school, I
- 16:12Speaker 2: don't know, getting ready for school teachers going back. If
- 16:15Speaker 2: you're stressed, you're full of anxiety, maybe you're down Yet
- 16:19Speaker 2: another study I'm looking at. We talked about this last week,
- 16:22Speaker 2: but there's a second one out this morning talking about
- 16:26Speaker 2: just trying to get outside in the morning and listen
- 16:29Speaker 2: to the birds for about ten minutes. They say listening
- 16:32Speaker 2: to nature slash mostly birds will reduce that stress, that anxiety,
- 16:38Speaker 2: that depression. It's just kind of getting back to the
- 16:42Speaker 2: roots of humans. Absolutely, you're back to the earth.
- 16:45Speaker 1: There is so much that can be said about this
- 16:48Speaker 1: because I mean, monks do it. They sit in silence
- 16:51Speaker 1: the first ten minutes of their day so they can
- 16:53Speaker 1: really tap in to the earth and all of that energy.
- 16:57Speaker 1: And you're right, it significantly lowers stress level. Yeah, it
- 17:01Speaker 1: also puts you Okay, should we just listen? Is that
- 17:04Speaker 1: what you want to do? Sho, No, no, no, okay.
- 17:07Speaker 2: I would never want you to set up Jerry.
- 17:10Speaker 1: But it does lower your stress level.
- 17:12Speaker 2: Uh does it?
- 17:13Speaker 1: Well, it's the cortisol in us like we have to
- 17:15Speaker 1: keep that in check. It's not good for you. So, uh,
- 17:20Speaker 1: that is such a strong, strong thing you can do
- 17:23Speaker 1: to really take advantage and be in charge of your day.
- 17:27Speaker 1: That's the other thing is like when you do that,
- 17:29Speaker 1: you're kind of just setting yourself up for success for
- 17:32Speaker 1: the rest of the day. Yeah.
- 17:33Speaker 2: So if you can try to get out this morning
- 17:36Speaker 2: and listen to some birds, yeah, before they all fly
- 17:39Speaker 2: away for winter, because you know it's only one hundreds
- 17:42Speaker 2: some days before Christmas, it's no My stress is back.
- 17:49Speaker 1: Jerry, Katie and Josh takes one hundred.
- 17:52Speaker 2: Oh I know, Katie, you're a massive coffee drinker. Oh yeah, uh,
- 17:56Speaker 2: And it's back Duncan's viral forty eight hours Iced bucket.
- 18:03Speaker 2: It's a beverage bucket that you can roll into Duncan
- 18:07Speaker 2: and get forty eight ounces of classic coffee iced coffee
- 18:12Speaker 2: ice Lantes. You can even throw in some of their
- 18:15Speaker 2: refreshers into it. I guess anyway, it looks like a
- 18:18Speaker 2: sand pail that you would take to the beach.
- 18:22Speaker 1: So when I break it down though, it's just freaking
- 18:24Speaker 1: twelve ounce cups of coffee right.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Well, the way to go to do math well, So
- 18:30Speaker 2: and I drink that Is that about right?
- 18:32Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 18:33Speaker 1: I don't feel like that would be too much now
- 18:35Speaker 1: that I think about it.
- 18:36Speaker 2: Well, I think it's like the whole shock value when
- 18:39Speaker 2: you see it, because it's literally a bucket with all
- 18:42Speaker 2: that once, all at once, and you're like, this is
- 18:45Speaker 2: not fitting in my cup. It's about thirteen bucks, So
- 18:50Speaker 2: I don't know if that's cheaper than four twelve ouncers. Yeah,
- 18:54Speaker 2: that might be.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Yeah, that's got it.
- 18:56Speaker 1: That's a good deal.
- 18:56Speaker 2: But here's the thing. The Duncan stores are only giving
- 18:59Speaker 2: me limited supplies, so if you want one, you got
- 19:02Speaker 2: to zip out there pretty darn quick.
- 19:04Speaker 7: And if I bring my own bucket, it's like the
- 19:06Speaker 7: seven eleven thing, like the days where you can bring
- 19:09Speaker 7: in anything.
- 19:10Speaker 2: If yeh sut up with slurpees, maybe.
- 19:12Speaker 1: Do that because if you only got so many, would
- 19:14Speaker 1: you bring in that's fine? But I know, right like
- 19:19Speaker 1: one of those baby baths.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to get it back out to your car.
- 19:24Speaker 2: What are you bring in?
- 19:24Speaker 1: You can like a boots, bring that old bootar I'm
- 19:28Speaker 1: not doing you'd have to probably think, all right, you
- 19:32Speaker 1: puzzle there, hard hard hat the best one we've got
- 19:37Speaker 1: so far.
- 19:37Speaker 2: Anyway. Thirteen bucks at Duncan. It's their beverage bucket. Go
- 19:42Speaker 2: check it out today. All right, So Katie has been
- 19:43Speaker 2: bugging me and bugging me and bugging me for like
- 19:45Speaker 2: a week, uh to talk about h a's. So now's
- 19:48Speaker 2: your time to shine girl.
- 19:49Speaker 1: Well, with all these drought and water restrictions, it's getting
- 19:53Speaker 1: kind of crazy, like the drama with the h oa
- 19:57Speaker 1: and people watering their lawn and getting in trouble for it.
- 20:01Speaker 1: There's so many different ways to go here. So for one, now,
- 20:04Speaker 1: I don't experience a hoa thing, but you do, Jeremy.
- 20:07Speaker 2: You're even on the border the power.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Tell me the laws and.
- 20:12Speaker 2: What you no when it comes to watering, because we
- 20:17Speaker 2: are in a drought.
- 20:18Speaker 1: And so when people have brown grass, isn't that just
- 20:21Speaker 1: expected Your hoa can't find you?
- 20:23Speaker 2: Yeah, And I've been seeing all sorts of stories about
- 20:25Speaker 2: how the hoas are sending letters out to people threatening
- 20:28Speaker 2: to find things like that. My neighbor across the street
- 20:31Speaker 2: actually was getting a bunch of them and he got
- 20:33Speaker 2: p s.
- 20:34Speaker 1: Why I would be mad. I don't even have an hoa,
- 20:37Speaker 1: and I'm mad for him.
- 20:38Speaker 2: But from what I understand, there is a Denver law
- 20:41Speaker 2: that protects homeowners in droughts when it comes to their lawn.
- 20:46Speaker 2: But the HOA can't ding you for dry brown grass
- 20:50Speaker 2: because you're not allowed to water, right, you can. From
- 20:53Speaker 2: what I understand is we can't dingy okay because there
- 20:56Speaker 2: is some issues like if it goes deeper though, and
- 20:59Speaker 2: it like turns to like essentially just soil and you're
- 21:04Speaker 2: having like soil patches and things like that pop up.
- 21:07Speaker 2: I think there is something in there where you can
- 21:10Speaker 2: start ding in people for that. But just if you
- 21:12Speaker 2: got dry brown line, well, Kim, there are so.
- 21:15Speaker 1: Many stories like on the news sites where they're talking
- 21:19Speaker 1: to individual people where they're dealing with their h way
- 21:21Speaker 1: and they're getting letters and the news stations reach out
- 21:24Speaker 1: to the properties and nobody's getting back to them. So
- 21:26Speaker 1: it's just like it's so dramatic. And even just with watering.
- 21:29Speaker 1: I saw somebody post on Facebook that they tried to
- 21:33Speaker 1: water at like two in the morning so that they
- 21:35Speaker 1: could get away with it. But then they're like, I
- 21:37Speaker 1: got a two hundred and fifty dollars bill from Aurora.
- 21:40Speaker 2: They still know being sneaky.
- 21:43Speaker 1: Yeah, So there are just so many ways that I
- 21:46Speaker 1: think people you know, and and kudos to everyone who's
- 21:48Speaker 1: doing their part and making sure they are.
- 21:50Speaker 2: I've been a good boy, even like I cherish my lawn.
- 21:53Speaker 2: I try to get the best lawn in the neighborhood
- 21:55Speaker 2: every summer. But I'm sticking to my two days a week.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Yeah this year, it's just not a thing.
- 22:00Speaker 2: But I'm putting down like fertilizers and stuff that help
- 22:02Speaker 2: keep things somewhat green, you know, a lot of revive
- 22:05Speaker 2: and things like that hashtag dad move. Yeah, but yeah,
- 22:08Speaker 2: I'm sticking to it. But I've seen people, you know,
- 22:11Speaker 2: popping on on the days they're not supposed.
- 22:13Speaker 1: To know, And I think it's funny. Is there's another
- 22:15Speaker 1: story floating around where neighbors are narking on their neighbors
- 22:19Speaker 1: to get them in trouble with the water.
- 22:22Speaker 2: Stitches get stitches.
- 22:24Speaker 1: So if you like, you know, keep your music late
- 22:27Speaker 1: at late at night, or you let your dog gomer
- 22:31Speaker 1: on your neighbor's lawn, like maybe now might be you know, yeah,
- 22:34Speaker 1: try not to get away with stuff because your neighbor
- 22:36Speaker 1: can tell on you and then you'll get fined. And
- 22:38Speaker 1: these are not you know.
- 22:40Speaker 2: Yeah, So that to me is that's already a neighborhood
- 22:44Speaker 2: beef going on. There's something already there. Yeah, that a
- 22:47Speaker 2: neighbor is going to report you, because I I'm not
- 22:50Speaker 2: that guy, for sure. I'm not gonna oh Nancy down
- 22:53Speaker 2: the streets. Yeah, she ran it for ten minutes too long.
- 22:56Speaker 1: You see her watering?
- 22:57Speaker 2: What does she think she's doing?
- 22:59Speaker 1: It's not.
- 23:01Speaker 2: It's not a day. My lawn still actually looks fairly decent,
- 23:06Speaker 2: even though I'm just doing the two days and the fertilizer.
- 23:08Speaker 2: And I've actually had a couple of neighbors like come
- 23:10Speaker 2: up to me and they're like, are you following the rules? Oh? Really,
- 23:13Speaker 2: be honest with you. Are you following the rules? I'm like,
- 23:16Speaker 2: I'm following the rules. I really really am.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Are you gate keeping your secrets so so that your
- 23:20Speaker 1: lawn looks better than theirs? Because you better watch you
- 23:23Speaker 1: better watch out. Your neighbors might get mad at you
- 23:26Speaker 1: and be.
- 23:26Speaker 2: Like all the time, little tin water department bear. Across
- 23:30Speaker 2: the street.
- 23:31Speaker 1: There's a radio guy. He thinks he's real funny.
- 23:34Speaker 2: We got a funny guy here across the street with
- 23:37Speaker 2: his water, funny guy with his green grass. That's so
- 23:40Speaker 2: funny when you get that big fine in the male
- 23:43Speaker 2: hone radio I'm coming for you. I'm coming for you. Also,
- 23:47Speaker 2: you're not too far off, Katie. You really I need
- 23:52Speaker 2: somebody to look this up, he text us, let me
- 23:55Speaker 2: know if this is real or not. My wife just
- 23:57Speaker 2: sent it to me and I'm time to search it up.
- 23:59Speaker 2: But I just saw and I laughed. I have a
- 24:01Speaker 2: feeling this is fake. I was coming out of Yellowstone
- 24:03Speaker 2: National Park, she sent me a screenshot off Instagram. Park
- 24:07Speaker 2: rangers have arrested a thirty four year old man after
- 24:10Speaker 2: he allegedly dressed in a homemade bison costume and spent
- 24:15Speaker 2: nearly two hours chasing down tourists while yelling at them.
- 24:19Speaker 2: Now you know how it feels. Now you know how
- 24:22Speaker 2: it feels. Is this true?
- 24:24Speaker 1: Okay, it looks like it's fake, But now we kind
- 24:27Speaker 1: of have ideas.
- 24:28Speaker 2: That's funny. Oh god, picture, look at the picture of
- 24:32Speaker 2: the er here.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Can we get arrested for something like that?
- 24:36Speaker 2: I think that's probably frowned on a dresses a bison.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Run, great radio station thing to do.
- 24:44Speaker 2: I saw this and I was like, no, uh no.
- 24:48Speaker 1: And it's funny because even this article that breaks it
- 24:51Speaker 1: down is like, at first glance, the story seems somewhat
- 24:54Speaker 1: believable given the long list of tourists to antics at
- 24:57Speaker 1: America's oldest national park.
- 25:00Speaker 2: I wrote back, I go, I feel like this would
- 25:02Speaker 2: be fake because she's like, well, so and so sented
- 25:04Speaker 2: to me. This is how things get rolling. You know
- 25:06Speaker 2: that friend is probably sending it to ten other people,
- 25:09Speaker 2: and they're sending it to ten people.
- 25:11Speaker 1: And they found it on the internet, so it's gotta
- 25:13Speaker 1: be true.
- 25:13Speaker 2: And now I'm talking about it on the radio. Now,
- 25:16Speaker 2: you know how it feels so funny, absolutely fantastic. So
- 25:21Speaker 2: shout out to all of our stressed parents listening this morning.
- 25:26Speaker 2: I feel your dog, I Feel you. Survey found that
- 25:29Speaker 2: seventy seven percent of parents say that back to school
- 25:33Speaker 2: season makes life so incredibly hectic. You start looking at everything.
- 25:40Speaker 2: The rising school supply costs are stress and parents out
- 25:45Speaker 2: Balancing kids' schedules with your schedules causes a ton of
- 25:51Speaker 2: household friction. Now you definitely have to come up with
- 25:56Speaker 2: a bunch of new dinner time ideas to make sure
- 25:58Speaker 2: that the family is fed and happy in the evening
- 26:01Speaker 2: and they're ready to start a new day the next day.
- 26:03Speaker 2: When school's in session, a lot of people just feel
- 26:07Speaker 2: over extended right now. But we we hear you, we
- 26:11Speaker 2: see you, we feel you.
- 26:12Speaker 1: Yeah. No, and it's getting worse and worse. Like I
- 26:14Speaker 1: remember when the baby Nana needed that list of school supplies,
- 26:17Speaker 1: and now there's digital stuff on it that costs so much.
- 26:20Speaker 1: I mean, remember when we just had to pay for
- 26:22Speaker 1: those hundred dollars calculators we had to do to get those. Yeah,
- 26:28Speaker 1: but yeah it is. And then you hit the nail
- 26:31Speaker 1: on the head with childcare. If you're working like so much.
- 26:34Speaker 5: Stop.
- 26:36Speaker 2: We were going over the schedule the other night at
- 26:38Speaker 2: the dinner table, going over new school times and stuff
- 26:42Speaker 2: for the kids.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:44Speaker 2: Different. Now we're experiencing high school where they have different
- 26:47Speaker 2: you know, schedules on different days and trying to juggle
- 26:50Speaker 2: all that. Yeah, I hate it. And then on top
- 26:53Speaker 2: of it, we've got a whole nother level of stress
- 26:56Speaker 2: going on in the house right now because my son
- 26:58Speaker 2: did get his permit, so now he's driving and I'm
- 27:03Speaker 2: out there. I did about thirty forty minutes with him
- 27:06Speaker 2: yesterday out in an empty parking lot, zipping around trying
- 27:09Speaker 2: to teach him how to drive. Let's just say we
- 27:12Speaker 2: got to work on backing up. We got to work
- 27:15Speaker 2: on backing.
- 27:16Speaker 1: For a lot of that same feeling, like when they
- 27:18Speaker 1: start walking and their mobile and it's like this is
- 27:20Speaker 1: a whole new world, I know, but like it brings
- 27:22Speaker 1: back that fear of what are they going to get into?
- 27:24Speaker 1: And when they start to drive, it's the same thing.
- 27:27Speaker 2: It's a trouble.
- 27:28Speaker 1: Yeah, thankfully you can track him now, Like that's.
- 27:30Speaker 2: Something absolutely favor.
- 27:32Speaker 5: You know.
- 27:32Speaker 2: It was kind of funny because we were out in
- 27:34Speaker 2: this empty parking lot and seriously, there was like five
- 27:39Speaker 2: or six other cars zipping around in there. All of
- 27:41Speaker 2: them have the student driver sticker on the back. So
- 27:44Speaker 2: it's like the perfect time of day to go, you know,
- 27:46Speaker 2: like at noon when nobody's around. A lot of school
- 27:49Speaker 2: parking lots are empty right now, and so we're out
- 27:52Speaker 2: there and there's all these newbies just dodging each other
- 27:56Speaker 2: in these parking lots and I'm like, this might not
- 27:58Speaker 2: be a good idea right now. Hey, let's practice backing.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Did you need some cones?
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yeah? I need to get some phone anyway. Shout out
- 28:07Speaker 2: to all the parents out there. We feel y, I'm
- 28:11Speaker 2: in the same boat right now. Katie's been in that boat.
- 28:13Speaker 2: We understand what you're going through and don't worry, you'll
- 28:17Speaker 2: get through it. Fie five, I've.
- 28:19Speaker 1: The fun starts now with Fast five.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Yes, fine, Fie fue, It's time.

- 41:13Speaker 2: nanna As katie would say this, morning the best dog
- 41:17Speaker 2: walk should last one hour and seven. Minutes it should

- 41:28Speaker 1: Gee that's how long you have to walk me, too.

- 41:36Speaker 2: have open, fields woodlands and. Parks well that's just like
- 41:41Speaker 2: everywhere there, Anywhere and of course they said safety is
- 41:46Speaker 2: the top. Priority they say also that owners would travel
- 41:52Speaker 2: up to seven miles just to find the perfect outing
- 41:55Speaker 2: for their.
- 41:55Speaker 1: Poops, god you know it gets me when people are
- 41:59Speaker 1: walking their dog and their dog is clearly trying to
- 42:02Speaker 1: smell or sniff or do their business and they're pulling
- 42:06Speaker 1: them And i'm, like do you do, That, jeremy.

- 42:52Speaker 1: OH i know the walks for you. Too but that's

- 43:11Speaker 2: OH i would imagine that's mostly. Dogs, yeah dogs and.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Cats so over a typical twelve year, lifespan total costs
- 43:18Speaker 2: can exceed about fifty thousand dollars to raise that.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Animal that's you, know AND i think the younger generations
- 43:26Speaker 1: are seeing that and they're, like we still like, pets
- 43:28Speaker 1: but we don't want to spend all that. Money do

- 51:04Speaker 1: there and the first thing she noticed is she doesn't
- 51:06Speaker 1: smell anything. Cooking she doesn't see any dinner being, prepared
- 51:10Speaker 1: and he's sitting on his couch eating a bowl of
- 51:13Speaker 1: soup and doesn't offer her.
- 51:15Speaker 2: Anything so she was, like you always offer a woman.
- 51:18Speaker 2: Soup you toss her a can and a, cano first
- 51:22Speaker 2: thing you, do first thing you.
- 51:24Speaker 1: Do here's your, soup. Lady but, no so he didn't
- 51:27Speaker 1: offer her, anything and so she just. Caught she was,
- 51:29Speaker 1: like this is. Weird you, KNOW i thought we were
- 51:31Speaker 1: going to go out to dinner, whatever and so she
- 51:33Speaker 1: before she could bring it, up, though he started like
- 51:35Speaker 1: getting closer to, her and then they start manging out.
- 51:38Speaker 2: Again right.
- 51:38Speaker 1: Again he probably kept it on just for good, luck but.
- 51:45Speaker 1: No so, yeah so they're sitting on the couch doing
- 51:47Speaker 1: stuff and it starts to go a little further than
- 51:49Speaker 1: she wants it. To so she's, like, okay, wait you,
- 51:51Speaker 1: Know i'm not comfortable going all that, exactly and she's,
- 51:55Speaker 1: Like i'm not looking for just a one night stand
- 51:58Speaker 1: type of.
- 51:58Speaker 2: Situation she's, Like i'm. Not she's looking for a bowl of.
- 52:01Speaker 1: Soup you need to give me more than, soup. Homie and,
- 52:06Speaker 1: so you, know they kind of stopped a little. Bit
- 52:08Speaker 1: but then she's, like CAN i go use your? Restroom
- 52:10Speaker 1: and he's like. Totally so here's where it's. Interesting she
- 52:13Speaker 1: walks through the kitchen and she notices on the refrigerator
- 52:17Speaker 1: there are pictures of children that look just my. Kire
- 52:23Speaker 1: then and she makes her way to the to the
- 52:26Speaker 1: to the. Bathroom there is a nursery being built in
- 52:31Speaker 1: the bedroom across the hall from the. Bathroom but what,
- 52:37Speaker 1: Okay so she goes, out and you, Know ryanne is
- 52:40Speaker 1: an adult, kid so she asks him she feels he's.
- 52:44Speaker 1: MARRIED i, mean this is the way she explained. It she's,
- 52:46Speaker 1: LIKE i felt like this man was, married AND i
- 52:49Speaker 1: just walked into a SITUATION i did not want to be.
- 52:51Speaker 3: In, well the nursery being built.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Exactly so she comes out and she Asks mark are you?
- 52:57Speaker 1: Married flat out and he's, like oh, no no He's
- 53:00Speaker 1: and then she, said well what about the pictures and the. Nursery,
- 53:04Speaker 1: oh this is my brother's. House that's those are my.
- 53:06Speaker 1: Nephews So i'm just at my brother's. House she didn't believe.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Him she didn't feel good about his, answer so she.
- 53:12Speaker 2: Left right the next, day pictures of the children looked
- 53:16Speaker 2: just like. Him did they have little tool belts?
- 53:18Speaker 1: On? Okay tell me that, Specifically i'm. Okay so, anyway
- 53:29Speaker 1: the next day when she's you, know they're back at
- 53:32Speaker 1: the kitchen and you know they're working on, it and she's,
- 53:34Speaker 1: well because still and they're working on the. Kitchen so
- 53:38Speaker 1: she asks his, coworker, Hey, austin Is mark? Married And
- 53:44Speaker 1: austin says. Yeah she's, like, well Where's mark's? Family then where's?
- 53:51Speaker 2: Mine she.
- 53:52Speaker 1: Said he, says they're visiting her family In minnesota before
- 53:56Speaker 1: the baby. Comes, no, no because then the houseowners come
- 54:08Speaker 1: home and my Friend ryane again she's a grown, woman
- 54:12Speaker 1: and she's she's gonna do. It so she tells, Them she's,
- 54:15Speaker 1: like how well do you Know mark and the people
- 54:18Speaker 1: who are working on your? Kitchen and she, says, Well
- 54:20Speaker 1: mark's an old family.
- 54:21Speaker 2: Friend so the.
- 54:23Speaker 1: Pome owner Knows mark's. Family so then she told her.
- 54:29Speaker 1: Everything she told her everything and Now, mark you do
- 54:33Speaker 1: that Because mark's getting a. Divorce she's affording him now, no,
- 54:39Speaker 1: No now they found out after she told her what
- 54:42Speaker 1: happened With. Ryane that wife was like hex to the,
- 54:45Speaker 1: No i'm, out and now they're getting a. Divorce AND
- 54:48Speaker 1: i just, LIKE i was so proud of that. WIFE
- 54:51Speaker 1: i don't even know that, woman But i'm, like here for, you. Lady,
- 54:53Speaker 1: no that's hard to do when you're. Pregnant is imagine.
- 54:58Speaker 2: His part to that in a house where he, knows,
- 55:02Speaker 2: yes family.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Right and clearly he's done this, before or the wife
- 55:07Speaker 1: wouldn't have been so quick to pack up her stuff and.
- 55:09Speaker 1: LEAVE i mean she took the, kids she moved To
- 55:11Speaker 1: minnesota to her family. Again so it's like they completely parted,
- 55:17Speaker 1: ways and you, Know, ryan she feels a little bad about,
- 55:20Speaker 1: it but also she's, LIKE i feel like it was
- 55:22Speaker 1: my duty to tell. Everybody i'm like, absolutely Like i'd
- 55:26Speaker 1: probably do the same thing app AND i did ask.
- 55:29Speaker 1: HER i was, like CAN i.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Tell people about?
- 55:31Speaker 1: This because again it goes into when you're dealing with
- 55:34Speaker 1: stuff like, this, like you, Know chicago guy treated me
- 55:36Speaker 1: like absolute, Crap and it's only in hindsight THAT i
- 55:39Speaker 1: can see that. Now but to be able to talk
- 55:41Speaker 1: with other people about it and feel, like you, know
- 55:44Speaker 1: there are people out there feeling LIKE i.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Am it just it had to make you feel. Good
- 55:48Speaker 2: AND i hated.
- 55:48Speaker 1: It AND i told her THAT i was, LIKE i
- 55:50Speaker 1: made you feel good in a bad way because me
- 55:51Speaker 1: feel not alone is a better way to put. It
- 55:53Speaker 1: that other people go through this, too and we get through,
- 55:56Speaker 1: it you. Know and so that's the big. Thing but,
- 55:59Speaker 1: man and it's.
- 56:00Speaker 2: Too bad because it started so like, Hot like it
- 56:04Speaker 2: started like a rom. Com you, know you got your house,
- 56:07Speaker 2: sitting you got a hot dude and his flannel in
- 56:10Speaker 2: his work boots a, belt and, he you, know embraces
- 56:13Speaker 2: you in the kitchen and you make. OUT i mean
- 56:15Speaker 2: that would give anybody. GOOSIES i you would get me
- 56:19Speaker 2: goosies if this guy came over he gave. Me but
- 56:22Speaker 2: the red flag was probably the. SOUP i mean exactly

- 1:02:07Speaker 2: if you want to go fill that up anything ELSE
- 1:02:09Speaker 2: i want to tell, You, oh this is just kind
- 1:02:11Speaker 2: of a funny Stat so if you're out shopping for
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: a ranch right now In, america as one, does of,
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: COURSE i gotta get me a ranch with some. Land
- 1:02:21Speaker 2: ranch prices have increased by one hundred and twelve percent
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: over the past ten, years and a lot of the
- 1:02:27Speaker 2: real chors are saying it's because of shows Like. Yellowstone
- 1:02:31Speaker 2: it's all these ranch themed shows and all the spin
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: offs From yellowstone that are causing the prices to. Skyrocket
- 1:02:39Speaker 2: Thanks Kevin, coch we go back to Fat.
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: America BECAUSE i totally thought you meant a bottle of ranch.
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: SHOPPING i did what you, said ranch. SHOPPING i was, like,
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Oh i'm not the only you.
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: Thought really THOUGHT i meant ranch prices are up because
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: of the Yellow.
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: Stone, no until you said, that and THEN i realized
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: you meant the home the, abode Ranch. Park in my
- 1:03:00Speaker 1: mouth said ranch. Shopping, YEAH i immediately Thought Hidden, valley
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: AND i was, like these are my.
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: People you gotta get this girl. On Jenny craig, Immediately.
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: Okay what it's a company that's completely.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: Normal. Yeah, SURE a lot of people out, THERE a
- 1:03:18Speaker 2: lot of people were Confused ranch the white. Sauce the
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: realtors say ranch prices are up one hundred and twelve
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: percent because realtors are pretty darn tapped into the. Connomentisle
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: the Hidden.
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: Valley ranch party in my, mouth you know expensive dill
- 1:03:33Speaker 1: is right, now come, on Big, okay do you.
- 1:03:36Speaker 2: Want to move on to the? Locals, HONESTLY i really do.
- 1:03:40Speaker 1: Good first things, first let's move.
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: On did you know what you?
- 1:03:44Speaker 1: Got city Of arvada has a drone first responder? Unit
- 1:03:47Speaker 1: what that soundings? Cool, yeah they have drones in the
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: sky helping them out now and a redtail hawk took
- 1:03:55Speaker 1: one out while they were both flying high in The colorado.
- 1:03:58Speaker 1: Sky like the video is. Insane it was all caught
- 1:04:01Speaker 1: on camera from multiple angles because you have the drone
- 1:04:04Speaker 1: up in the sky getting attacked by the redtail, hawk
- 1:04:07Speaker 1: and then you have the body can being worn by the,
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: officers so you see it all from that vantage point as,
- 1:04:12Speaker 1: well and it is pretty. Spectacular the officers they were
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: actually looking into a condemned shed with the drone when
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: the hawk snatched it like right out of the.
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: Sky. Drunk it was.
- 1:04:21Speaker 1: Insane and then the hawk actually was hit by the
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: parachute that the drone deploys because when it is, attacked
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: it'll just automatically put a parachute out. Mechanism, yeah and
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: then it got stuck in a. Tree so but the
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: hawk is, fine the drone is, fine and the cops,
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: say this is exactly what was supposed to. Happen so
- 1:04:41Speaker 1: no word on that shed, though couldn't barely ranch party
- 1:04:44Speaker 1: in my.
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: Mouth.
- 1:04:45Speaker 1: Yeah and then our bear, stories because this is very
- 1:04:50Speaker 1: concerning that we're seeing so many bears out and. About
- 1:04:52Speaker 1: it has to do with the winter being so short
- 1:04:55Speaker 1: and they're looking for. Food but multiple sightings just this week.
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: Alone so In Manitous springs yesterday cops had to free
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: a bear from a car after he got hisself stuck
- 1:05:05Speaker 1: in the.
- 1:05:05Speaker 2: Car and now again these bears getting into cars and any.
- 1:05:09Speaker 1: Kind of food wrapper that you leave in your, vehicle
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: or even the scent, things the little you, know air
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: freshener things we put in our, car all of those
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: can attract. Bears and when you're In Manitud, SPRINGS i
- 1:05:19Speaker 1: mean that's his bear country right.
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: There why would the pine tree air fresheners attract the?
- 1:05:23Speaker 2: Bears the pine trees all.
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: Time i'm not saying pine, tree but you have like
- 1:05:26Speaker 1: the honey, ones you have the sweeter ones and so they're,
- 1:05:28Speaker 1: saying any of those scents can make bears want to
- 1:05:32Speaker 1: break in to the, cars and because of the low
- 1:05:34Speaker 1: excuse me water levels and, everything they're having a harder
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: time finding, food and so they're breaking into places that
- 1:05:40Speaker 1: they wouldn't be expected to break in.
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Bins little known fact air fresheners are.
- 1:05:45Speaker 1: Delicious jeremy approved and then in no just smelled. It
- 1:05:52Speaker 1: but this one is crazy, too because In loveland a
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: woman actually came across a bear in her living.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: ROOM i would play the audio for, that but my computer's.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: Rosen oh it's.
- 1:06:04Speaker 1: Fine she just.
- 1:06:04Speaker 2: Said she was, like.
- 1:06:06Speaker 1: She totally said that eating we ate the cat. Food
- 1:06:09Speaker 1: that's what the bear broke into the house, for ate
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: the cat food out of the cat. Dish and so,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: yeah that lady was, like, oh they got a. Bear but,
- 1:06:17Speaker 1: anyway there you.
- 1:06:18Speaker 2: Go there's some really good stories you brought.
- 1:06:20Speaker 1: Today very.
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: Interesting i'm really. Impressed you're.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: Welcome she's got the, mic the, moxie and a brain
