- 1:07Speaker 5: It was Dallas.
- 1:10Speaker 6: I went home and then Dallas.
- 1:11Speaker 3: So I went to Austin and then we all drove
- 1:14Speaker 3: up to Dallas.
- 1:15Speaker 6: It was a uh.
- 1:17Speaker 3: We took my grandpa's like big old Dinali school bus,
- 1:21Speaker 3: but people get and it was six of us. Oh
- 1:26Speaker 3: my god, I have no reason to have one of those,
- 1:28Speaker 3: but and I don't think my grandpa does either. But
- 1:30Speaker 3: it was six of us and it was a fun
- 1:34Speaker 3: but chaotic trip.
- 1:35Speaker 6: You know when you get like eight girls to.
- 1:38Speaker 3: The American Girls girls only there was no boys allowed.
- 1:42Speaker 6: I was telling, Yeah, I was telling you, Matt that
- 1:44Speaker 6: my cousin wanted to come, and we were.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Like, nah, yeah, I get it. So you like to
- 1:51Speaker 2: my daughter and your boys are gross?
- 1:52Speaker 7: Yeahs I agree, y'all have.
- 1:57Speaker 3: Like, So, my mom's birth is this weekend, so we
- 2:03Speaker 3: there's a Spanish rock band that we grew up. I
- 2:06Speaker 3: grew up listening to that my mom loves and they
- 2:09Speaker 3: were in Dallas, so we went to go see them
- 2:11Speaker 3: and it was so much fun. We celebrated my mom's
- 2:13Speaker 3: birthday all hung out.
- 2:16Speaker 4: I figured you'd actually stay and just go watch the
- 2:19Speaker 4: Cowboys play.
- 2:20Speaker 6: Nah my.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Wopping seventeen points against the Cardinals.
- 2:26Speaker 2: Oh that sounds like a man. That was I hustling
- 2:29Speaker 2: a little bit.
- 2:31Speaker 5: Watched the game.
- 2:33Speaker 6: He texted it the Cowboys.
- 2:36Speaker 7: Thank god you walked out on him earlier. Yeah, that's right,
- 2:41Speaker 7: good good thing. There's some confusing teams out there in
- 2:44Speaker 7: the NFL.
- 2:46Speaker 4: I don't know what. Yeah, is very confusing. Have always
- 2:51Speaker 4: been confusing, So that's not what the Also, they're.
- 2:54Speaker 5: Really bangedal like you were having a good season before that,
- 2:57Speaker 5: so that's not Yeah.
- 2:58Speaker 2: Joe all out for the year, cool.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Slater out for the year two.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Oh yeah, he's been out for the year, tackles the
- 3:05Speaker 4: strength of your team.
- 3:06Speaker 2: It's good. I'm not upset about it.
- 3:08Speaker 7: But acs so, what what as a joke say about belt?
- 3:13Speaker 2: Joke? A? He said? What did it stand for? Alfred
- 3:17Speaker 2: Clifford Slater? I know? But was it Albert Clifford? Yeah? Okay,
- 3:21Speaker 2: all right, good enough. I'm sad that you missed the
- 3:24Speaker 2: eulogy yesterday.
- 3:25Speaker 6: Put another one to rest too.
- 3:28Speaker 5: Possibly the greatest photo.
- 3:30Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a real photo, not a not photo shopped.
- 3:37Speaker 4: It's a real photo of that man coaching football.
- 3:40Speaker 5: All I had to do, all I had to do
- 3:42Speaker 5: was he wasaching in the Yeah, he was Liberty, like
- 3:44Speaker 5: the make chif of hospital Dennis Cheer remember that.
- 3:48Speaker 6: I just don't remember which school he was at.
- 3:50Speaker 5: It was like his first year at Liberty.
- 3:52Speaker 6: That's so funny.
- 3:52Speaker 7: You're right, it was not a All I had to
- 3:54Speaker 7: do was put a little black and white filter on it.
- 3:57Speaker 7: We had photo in Canva, put some letters on it.
- 4:00Speaker 5: I love is the ESPN microphone. You could see it
- 4:03Speaker 5: like he was totally being interviewed, and like they probably
- 4:05Speaker 5: just thought that was totally normal, a guy coaching in
- 4:09Speaker 5: the booth from a hospital bit totally normal.
- 4:11Speaker 6: Still women in Kentucky, they were like fighting for the.
- 4:13Speaker 2: I felt like whoever lost that game was gonna get.
- 4:15Speaker 6: Fired, right, so they were.
- 4:17Speaker 3: I guess now Arkansas's or Arkansas Auburn is probably last
- 4:20Speaker 3: in the SEC because Kentucky was.
- 4:25Speaker 4: Then Mississippi State got their first victory. That's guy Arkansas,
- 4:30Speaker 4: that's guy Jeff Leby. They came, they didn't win, they won.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Why didn't watch any football? Because YouTube TV?
- 4:38Speaker 4: Arkansas Arkansas is actually last. They have conference wins, Auburn
- 4:44Speaker 4: has one. There's there is four teams that only have
- 4:49Speaker 4: one win in the SEC and one that has none.
- 4:52Speaker 4: So five of the sixteen members have one win or less.
- 4:58Speaker 2: Wow, I think OOF is top heavy.
- 5:03Speaker 7: Yeah, ESPN, you really need to get your ish together.
- 5:08Speaker 2: What was ish mean?
- 5:09Speaker 6: What happened?
- 5:10Speaker 2: Well, it's the YouTube TV deal. Oh yeah, ESPN, Like
- 5:13Speaker 2: last night, I just don't get it like you have.
- 5:15Speaker 7: So I heard my griev yesterday because but it happened
- 5:19Speaker 7: again last night with Monday Night football. It's just that,
- 5:22Speaker 7: like you can watch everything else on ESPN Plus because
- 5:25Speaker 7: I paid ten dollars a month for ESPN Plus except
- 5:28Speaker 7: for the one thing I want to watch, which was
- 5:30Speaker 7: a sport. I wanted to watch a sport, but they
- 5:34Speaker 7: wouldn't let me do it. I could watch all the nationwide,
- 5:37Speaker 7: all the college soccer games happening, watch all those here
- 5:41Speaker 7: you go, but didn't.
- 5:45Speaker 2: Basketball started yesterday. Who cares? Honestly?
- 5:50Speaker 7: Friends and family, friends and family, same people that care
- 5:54Speaker 7: about NBA right now, it's fair, which is hopefully nobody.
- 6:01Speaker 3: I don't know. I care a little bit just because
- 6:03Speaker 3: the Spurs are starting off early. Wig like, really, well,
- 6:06Speaker 3: that's true. I care about historically, truly care.
- 6:10Speaker 7: About Well, that's not October anymore, but nobody should truly
- 6:13Speaker 7: care about October NBA.
- 6:15Speaker 4: I like, hey, you looked at your watch. Halloween's the
- 6:17Speaker 4: last day of October.
- 6:18Speaker 7: You should have probably realized we're in November. I wanted
- 6:21Speaker 7: to see how many days end in November? Anybody started
- 6:25Speaker 7: any decorations yet?
- 6:26Speaker 5: Not yet for Christmas?
- 6:28Speaker 2: And now people were getting there. We got our Christmas
- 6:31Speaker 2: lights up?
- 6:32Speaker 6: You did? What about tree?
- 6:34Speaker 2: No tree yet?
- 6:35Speaker 6: Do you wait till are.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Y'all like that already? Well I didn't.
- 6:41Speaker 6: Someone came out and did it for you.
- 6:44Speaker 5: We're literally like the day after Thanksgiving we put everything
- 6:47Speaker 5: up normally.
- 6:49Speaker 6: Yeah, I feel like that's standard.
- 6:52Speaker 2: I wish Christmas lights were acceptable all year round. I
- 6:55Speaker 2: really do.
- 6:56Speaker 5: Two people in my neighborhood think they are.
- 6:57Speaker 6: They make me feel so warm.
- 6:58Speaker 7: They may see, say there's someone on Monday that thinks
- 7:01Speaker 7: Halloween decorations are good twelve months too.
- 7:04Speaker 5: So really, I see the big Jack Skellington's from Nightmare
- 7:08Speaker 5: before Christmas, people are like, ah, it's Nightmare and it's Christmas.
- 7:12Speaker 5: They put it up of October and they leave that
- 7:14Speaker 5: bad boy up till like January.
- 7:16Speaker 2: Oh let's see they found a loophole.
- 7:18Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I can't get mad at that.
- 7:23Speaker 4: Look, if you pay that much for those skeletons, those
- 7:25Speaker 4: tall ones, you got to get some more use out
- 7:26Speaker 4: of Now's the time.
- 7:27Speaker 2: To buy it.
- 7:28Speaker 7: So my wife went to Costco yesterday because she was
- 7:32Speaker 7: on sale. We no, because they don't have anything Halloween.
- 7:36Speaker 7: So like they're selling, they're basically sold out of Christmas.
- 7:39Speaker 2: She bought a she bought a tree and maybe a Sunday.
- 7:42Speaker 7: She went to buy a tree because my daughters they
- 7:44Speaker 7: wanted they they had like this this like little one
- 7:47Speaker 7: that was in their room for a one time, a
- 7:48Speaker 7: little pink one. They get a little bit older, they
- 7:50Speaker 7: like I want like a flocked one. I want when
- 7:52Speaker 7: that looks like a snow on it.
- 7:53Speaker 2: So we went.
- 7:54Speaker 7: She went and bought up a little flock tree. They
- 7:56Speaker 7: sell them in November, but they're sold out.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Like the fake one.
- 8:01Speaker 2: So let me tell you this.
- 8:02Speaker 7: So October one, I'd seen like all the social media posts.
- 8:05Speaker 7: I was like, I want one of the big skeleton heads.
- 8:07Speaker 7: It looks like he's coming out of the ground. And
- 8:08Speaker 7: this was like October one, yeah, and I was like,
- 8:10Speaker 7: can we do that? She was like, babe, they've been
- 8:12Speaker 7: sold out of those since July.
- 8:14Speaker 6: That's insane.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I'm like what She's like, You're way too late.
- 8:18Speaker 7: I'm like, what, I got thirty one days until people
- 8:23Speaker 7: started knocking on the door.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, nope.
- 8:27Speaker 7: So if you've already waited until November fourth, twenty twenty five,
- 8:31Speaker 7: you're a little late.
- 8:31Speaker 2: I'm buying your Christmas decorations. I have to go to Timu. Well,
- 8:36Speaker 2: there's no way they'll live in by then. If you
- 8:39Speaker 2: go to.
- 8:41Speaker 3: I know, no hate, they're gonna come at all tight
- 8:44Speaker 3: like dollhouse decorations with there be like no.
- 8:47Speaker 5: Matt The picture was the actual size.
- 8:49Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:50Speaker 7: So what I've started noticing is you got these basically
- 8:53Speaker 7: Costco scalpers out there that area, so they know that
- 8:58Speaker 7: Costco is going to sell out of these books skeletons.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Kind of like in the card game.
- 9:01Speaker 7: In the card game, they're going and probably getting a trailer,
- 9:06Speaker 7: make a little road trip out of it, scooping up
- 9:08Speaker 7: as many Giants skeletons as they can, and then they're flipping.
- 9:10Speaker 2: Them for twice a price on eBay smart line demand.
- 9:13Speaker 7: Dude, Well, it's like if you can suck dry, I mean,
- 9:18Speaker 7: Joe Dirt.
- 9:19Speaker 2: Joe Dirt gave you a lesson on how that works.
- 9:21Speaker 5: Hey, you saw this one jingle all the way the
- 9:24Speaker 5: list price of the Turbo manager just double.
- 9:26Speaker 2: Yeah, it's blind a man, that's true.
- 9:30Speaker 7: So I'm gonna go start buying up all the Christmas
- 9:32Speaker 7: trees in South Louisiana and.
- 9:34Speaker 3: Just reselling them, just reselling them. I don't think that's
- 9:37Speaker 3: a bad idea.
- 9:37Speaker 2: Yeah, you got time to do that. Definitely have time
- 9:41Speaker 2: to do that. You have to hire somebody wasting my
- 9:44Speaker 2: time here right now, I could be buying up Christmas trees.
- 9:48Speaker 2: You also get paid to be here for a long time.
- 9:50Speaker 2: You did it for free. I'll give you that.
- 9:53Speaker 7: You don't think I'd be getting paid to jack up
- 9:55Speaker 7: the prices of the South Louisiana Christmas trees.
- 9:58Speaker 4: I mean yeah, but you'd have to drive if you
- 10:00Speaker 4: use gas. I mean there's I.
- 10:02Speaker 5: Would love for you to request the day off and
- 10:05Speaker 5: a reason, be like I have to buy Christmas Christmas tree.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Yeah, uh that's good.
- 10:12Speaker 6: Favorite holiday? Christmas?
- 10:15Speaker 7: Oh yeah, yeah, Christmas, Halloween, I like them, booth definitely
- 10:18Speaker 7: favorite holiday.
- 10:19Speaker 2: It's a favorite time of the year right now, Yeah,
- 10:22Speaker 2: for sure it is.
- 10:25Speaker 4: Is there anybody out there that Christmas isn't like the favorite?
- 10:30Speaker 6: There's probably some contrarians out there.
- 10:33Speaker 4: Well, they wouldn't mean it, they would just do it
- 10:34Speaker 4: just to argue. There's gonna be some like there's people
- 10:39Speaker 4: at work here that I know be like.
- 10:40Speaker 2: Oh you like Christmas?
- 10:42Speaker 4: Is this dumb for the flag presents a stupid President's Day?
- 10:47Speaker 2: That's my favorite? Or day? Yeah.
- 10:51Speaker 7: I'm also tired of Apple calendar telling me what all
- 10:57Speaker 7: the days are and not letting me remove them.
- 10:59Speaker 2: Why.
- 11:00Speaker 7: I don't know. I don't really care. There's apparently there's
- 11:04Speaker 7: like thirty holidays every single month, and I don't I
- 11:08Speaker 7: don't like. I don't like my calendar to be littered.
- 11:11Speaker 7: I want to take things off.
- 11:15Speaker 2: Doesn't love me? Second best Holidays. Fourth of July I
- 11:21Speaker 2: love it. I think it was great too. Football it's awesome.
- 11:26Speaker 4: I kind of lump that in with Christmas just this
- 11:28Speaker 4: time of year, like just I know it's a month apart,
- 11:30Speaker 4: but it's kind of lump it all in together, like
- 11:35Speaker 4: the one away from the Fall.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I love the fourth July. Yeah, I love it. It's great.
- 11:41Speaker 2: It's America.
- 11:42Speaker 7: I think the three fall, early Winter, the Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas,
- 11:48Speaker 7: those those gotta be.
- 11:49Speaker 2: The top three.
- 11:50Speaker 6: Generational run.
- 11:51Speaker 2: This is a generational run. It's the big three.
- 11:55Speaker 7: The things every out of the year are nice, nice
- 11:57Speaker 7: little change ups, nice little breakups.
- 11:59Speaker 2: But like for July is great in summertime.
- 12:01Speaker 7: It's just a great feeling when the weather, dog, hamburgers, fireworks.
- 12:05Speaker 5: Yeah, it's great, hot dog eating contos. Some TV like
- 12:09Speaker 5: that's super American.
- 12:11Speaker 2: It's good.
- 12:12Speaker 7: But to me, it's like Fourth of July great. I
- 12:15Speaker 7: love America, love just rewatch and it's every single day.
- 12:19Speaker 2: Love the troops. I feel like it.
- 12:22Speaker 7: But like when Fourth of July is over, it's over.
- 12:25Speaker 7: Like you get the Halloween, you're like Thanksgiving right around
- 12:27Speaker 7: the corner. It's like we got like three weeks of
- 12:31Speaker 7: like doing the Advent calendar and.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Everything like sports in general, Like you go fourth of July,
- 12:36Speaker 5: you got a lull till about September, like you don't.
- 12:39Speaker 7: Really have Yeah, Mardi Gras race great, but like I mean,
- 12:44Speaker 7: it's just like you at this point, the kids get
- 12:47Speaker 7: a whole week off, like still gotta work, there's really nothing,
- 12:52Speaker 7: super Bowls over, like Baseball just started, but like who
- 12:55Speaker 7: kind of really cares at that point?
- 12:57Speaker 4: I mean that that part of the year is my
- 13:00Speaker 4: most stressful part. So I don't even like from December
- 13:04Speaker 4: first till March first, I'm on the road like every weekend.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Yeah, so.
- 13:12Speaker 7: Yeah, then Christmas is over, then you got a little
- 13:13Speaker 7: New Year's action. Like there's so many things to look
- 13:16Speaker 7: forward to this time of year. So I can't just say,
- 13:18Speaker 7: like a one off July fourth is better than any
- 13:21Speaker 7: of that, even though I love.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Hot dogs, I love America. Williams said, Labor Day just
- 13:26Speaker 2: over here, like y'all forget about me. Eastern's Like, what's up?
- 13:30Speaker 2: That's true? What are we doing? Oh yeah, Memorial Day
- 13:36Speaker 2: better than today? Sorry. We love all our holidays here
- 13:39Speaker 2: TV so much better than others, though Matt hates the troops.
- 13:47Speaker 2: All right, we'll be that more.
- 13:48Speaker 4: OTB Live Raizi Kaines Studio off the bench, all right,

- 14:33Speaker 7: whatever it is. There's a lot of options out there
- 14:35Speaker 7: in Louisiana. We hear about them all the time, but truly,

- 18:09Speaker 7: a little ac duct in there too.
- 18:12Speaker 2: All right, you need to stop h why I mean
- 18:17Speaker 2: not my, not my, not me?
- 18:19Speaker 7: Okay, yeah, because those shades are like you can okay, yeah,
- 18:23Speaker 7: they keep the heat the cool or the heat.
- 18:24Speaker 2: Okay. I thought you were like saying you were going

- 18:28Speaker 2: or anything. Right, I don't find you.

- 20:04Speaker 2: that's gonna help boost your energy.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, which I didn't know if you had
- 20:07Speaker 4: an event coming up and or if it was just
- 20:10Speaker 4: everyday life.
- 20:11Speaker 2: I don't want my immune system to be better.
- 20:13Speaker 4: Hey, I'm forty, you know, and you little saying that
- 20:15Speaker 4: I'm forty two like I'm forty. Also, I don't want
- 20:19Speaker 4: people think I'm forty two years old forty as well,
- 20:22Speaker 4: forty as well, because I've sent you already over Flynn
- 20:25Speaker 4: by a month.
- 20:26Speaker 2: All right.
- 20:28Speaker 4: Our guy Chris Marler put out an article on Louisiana
- 20:32Speaker 4: Sports dot Net Marler Monday, predicting the next head coach
- 20:36Speaker 4: for each job opening.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I'm going to go through the list, Marler Monday. Marler Monday.
- 20:41Speaker 2: He wrote that he put his hand up, and he
- 20:43Speaker 2: wrote it a little self serving, Marlar.
- 20:46Speaker 6: I should have called it malfreather. Marler Monday.
- 20:54Speaker 2: Uh, that's good. Are you mad at me? He's for
- 20:57Speaker 2: the rest of the day. Good thing. He's not up yet, Marlar.
- 20:59Speaker 2: Just all right?
- 21:01Speaker 4: So he lays out Auburn, he says, Kenny Dillingham, he
- 21:05Speaker 4: goes Florida, James Franklin, Arkansas, Bobby Petrino, Lsu He's got
- 21:13Speaker 4: two choices.
- 21:15Speaker 2: You ready for this? One.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Our choice number two, I'll tell you is John summer
- 21:19Speaker 4: Off from Tulane. Choice number one, Eli Drinkwitz Missouri. Okay,
- 21:26Speaker 4: that's your guy. Yeah, it is my guy. But you
- 21:29Speaker 4: don't think Missouri's in the SEC. So I want to
- 21:31Speaker 4: throw that to you.
- 21:33Speaker 2: No, they're independent, right, so as well get Marcus Freeman.
- 21:37Speaker 4: What do we think about Like if Auburn it's Kenny
- 21:40Speaker 4: Dillingham shout out to Alburn, I'd be a hell of
- 21:43Speaker 4: a hire. I don't know that with these jobs that
- 21:46Speaker 4: are open that that would be the move for Kenny
- 21:48Speaker 4: Dillingham to leave Arizona State to go there. But if
- 21:52Speaker 4: Alburn could get that done, that would be an incredible
- 21:55Speaker 4: situation for them. For James Franklin, going to Florida makes
- 22:00Speaker 4: sense because they tried the group of six coach that
- 22:05Speaker 4: was a young up and coming Billy Napier. Let's go
- 22:08Speaker 4: that route. Oftentimes right, wrong or indifferent. When you go
- 22:11Speaker 4: that route, you try to go to the opposite. So
- 22:13Speaker 4: they're going with the resume guy that we talked about yesterday, Right,
- 22:17Speaker 4: let's go with the resume resume, and so they feel
- 22:19Speaker 4: like that would maybe stabilize their program where they're at
- 22:22Speaker 4: Arkansas by Petrino. Sure, okay, why not? I mean it's Arkansas.
- 22:27Speaker 4: They haven't won an SEC game yet. They're scoring points,
- 22:31Speaker 4: so maybe if they get a new defensive staff in
- 22:33Speaker 4: with Bobby Petrino, maybe it can be successful because you know,
- 22:37Speaker 4: it is better than it was certainly, you know, offensively,
- 22:41Speaker 4: I know he's been calling plays, but you can tell
- 22:43Speaker 4: there's some real juice there and so.
- 22:45Speaker 7: They're going to win some games though, to keep you yeah, first,
- 22:49Speaker 7: to get that, to get bumped from an sect, to
- 22:52Speaker 7: get something.
- 22:54Speaker 5: Can he win one conference game?
- 22:55Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all he needs to do.
- 22:56Speaker 5: At one conference game.
- 22:58Speaker 7: He's got it because they're playing well, they're playing everyone
- 23:01Speaker 7: so tight and close. But you do like to go
- 23:04Speaker 7: from interim to get I guess re anointed as the
- 23:07Speaker 7: head coach, like you have to win a game well.
- 23:09Speaker 5: And then a lot of people wonder, how is this
- 23:11Speaker 5: guy going to do here? Bobby Petrina was pretty good
- 23:13Speaker 5: last time he was there, and that was a while back.
- 23:15Speaker 5: But also like head coaching openings, where's Arkansas actually fall
- 23:19Speaker 5: in that pecking order?
- 23:21Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, pretty well.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Craig Lsu does not have a full time athletic director.
- 23:28Speaker 4: They have an interim athletic director with Verge Osbury. To
- 23:32Speaker 4: answer your question there acting athletic director, I don't know
- 23:39Speaker 4: that i'd agree with the Dillingham I just I think
- 23:44Speaker 4: if he lose Arizona State, it would have to be
- 23:46Speaker 4: for Lshue or Florida. I don't know that Auburn right
- 23:50Speaker 4: now with Kenny Dillingham, although again, if they could get
- 23:52Speaker 4: that done, it's.
- 23:54Speaker 2: A tough sell. I mean, there's probably a lot of
- 23:56Speaker 2: coaches out there that would that would die to take
- 23:58Speaker 2: the Auburn job right as you see job like.
- 24:00Speaker 7: It's tough to go from a successful program in a
- 24:03Speaker 7: place like the Big twelve.
- 24:04Speaker 4: And TIMPI Arizona, which I'll look I love Auburn. Albo
- 24:07Speaker 4: is one of my favorite campuses to go to in
- 24:09Speaker 4: the SEC. But he's in Prepi Arizona.
- 24:12Speaker 7: But like, yeah, you're and you're on the fast track up,
- 24:15Speaker 7: like your arrows ticking up. I don't know if the
- 24:17Speaker 7: jump you make to go from that type of program,
- 24:21Speaker 7: like maybe you stay there, maybe the job that you want.
- 24:23Speaker 7: Maybe you have five, ten, fifteen colleges earmarked. I don't
- 24:26Speaker 7: think Auburn would be one of them, just because you're
- 24:29Speaker 7: gonna throw yourself into the middle of the SEC and
- 24:34Speaker 7: play but kicking schedule every single year and you're fighting
- 24:39Speaker 7: against the eight ball, Like give me, You're you're starting
- 24:42Speaker 7: off in a program that needs a lot of work,
- 24:44Speaker 7: so you're gonna be going from something like and obviously
- 24:48Speaker 7: Auburn has proven that they have a pretty short lease
- 24:50Speaker 7: with coaches.
- 24:51Speaker 2: So they're not giving them like this long, long time
- 24:54Speaker 2: frame to work with.
- 24:55Speaker 7: So yeah, it have to be it have to be
- 24:58Speaker 7: a banger of a contract dealing him to do that
- 25:01Speaker 7: with a lot of guarantees and a lot of you know,
- 25:04Speaker 7: a lot of leash to work with. Yeah, I just
- 25:06Speaker 7: don't know if you're throwing yourself into the SEC on
- 25:08Speaker 7: a team that's at the bottom of the SEC, not.
- 25:11Speaker 2: When you're at a team that made the playoff last year.
- 25:13Speaker 7: When you're when you're a coach that could get the
- 25:16Speaker 7: Florida job if he wanted to, right, I would assume
- 25:19Speaker 7: he could get the Florida job if he wanted to.
- 25:21Speaker 2: I mean, I think a lot of Kennedy dealing him.
- 25:23Speaker 4: I mean what he did as an offenseve coordinator at
- 25:25Speaker 4: Oregon with Boat Nicks, what he's done at Arizona State
- 25:28Speaker 4: with sam Levitt. Sam Levit didn't start at Arizona State.
- 25:31Speaker 4: He started at Michigan State. And they, I mean, Kiddy's
- 25:35Speaker 4: got him playing when he's healthy at you know, top five,
- 25:40Speaker 4: top eight quarterback in the country level. And last year
- 25:43Speaker 4: we saw what he was able to do with Cam
- 25:44Speaker 4: Scataboo in that offense. But to your point about the
- 25:48Speaker 4: Auburn job, and we laid it out yesterday, since twenty
- 25:53Speaker 4: twenty one, six and seven, five and seven, six and seven,
- 25:59Speaker 4: five and seven and currently four and five, Yeah.
- 26:03Speaker 2: That that's not having a bad season.
- 26:09Speaker 4: That's having a bad decade, right, Like you've been real bad,
- 26:14Speaker 4: losing record every year.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Bad.
- 26:16Speaker 4: And again when we talk about like LSU you had
- 26:20Speaker 4: ten wins, ten wins, nine wins, you have five right now.
- 26:24Speaker 4: It's not to the standard that that LSU wants. And
- 26:27Speaker 4: there was things going on all around the program that
- 26:30Speaker 4: weren't heading in the direction that anybody really wanted. And
- 26:34Speaker 4: you didn't feel the Jews, you didn't feel the toughness
- 26:36Speaker 4: all of that, right, But still it is ten wins,
- 26:40Speaker 4: ten wins, nine wins, five wins compared to having a
- 26:43Speaker 4: losing record every single year since twenty twenty one, Florida.
- 26:47Speaker 2: Has headed for three of the last four.
- 26:49Speaker 4: The one that they did have a winning record, they
- 26:51Speaker 4: had to pull it out of there, you know what
- 26:53Speaker 4: at the end of the year and win what five
- 26:55Speaker 4: straight Yep.
- 26:58Speaker 2: So just that like it kind of to put a
- 27:00Speaker 2: bow around.
- 27:00Speaker 7: Like my point I was trying to make about Dellingham
- 27:02Speaker 7: not one like it doesn't to me, it doesn't feel
- 27:05Speaker 7: like a young up and coming head coach job.
- 27:07Speaker 2: That's what it might. It might feel like.
- 27:09Speaker 7: A coordinator becoming a first time or an ex really
- 27:12Speaker 7: good head coach looking to get back in the game.
- 27:14Speaker 4: Because I think Dillingham is kind of disrespectful to him
- 27:18Speaker 4: for people just to you know, group him in with
- 27:23Speaker 4: certain young coaches that are trying to get their opportunity,
- 27:26Speaker 4: like that made the playoff last year, Right guy won
- 27:29Speaker 4: his conference. The guy was a fourth down stop away.
- 27:33Speaker 4: If quinn Ewers doesn't do a great job of changing
- 27:36Speaker 4: the protection on the fourth down to getting a win
- 27:41Speaker 4: in the playoff, and who knows what happens, right, Like,
- 27:45Speaker 4: he's already kind of been there, done that as far
- 27:47Speaker 4: as that portion of it, Like he's been to the
- 27:50Speaker 4: place that you're trying to get to. Ken Dillingham done it.
- 27:53Speaker 4: He's made the playoffs more than a no issue. Yes,
- 27:55Speaker 4: And you can say, well he did it because he
- 27:57Speaker 4: got the Big twelve. Okay, he was playing with Big
- 27:59Speaker 4: twelve players. You can make you could form your argument
- 28:02Speaker 4: however you want, and.
- 28:03Speaker 7: It even makes a point even more valid. Like a
- 28:05Speaker 7: place like Auburn is not a place like for for
- 28:08Speaker 7: Kenny Dillingham type guy, an up and coming rising star
- 28:12Speaker 7: head coach.
- 28:12Speaker 2: It's not gonna go to Auburn.
- 28:13Speaker 7: No, He's gonna be looking at Florida, LSU, Penn State,
- 28:18Speaker 7: or like any of the top jobs.
- 28:19Speaker 2: And if those aren't available, he just stays there's state,
- 28:22Speaker 2: Arizona state where I'm from.
- 28:23Speaker 7: Ain't gonna go to beat our head against the wall
- 28:26Speaker 7: at Auburn.
- 28:27Speaker 2: It's good to the SEC. I don't know who's gonna
- 28:29Speaker 2: go beat their head. Ain't gonna be Kenny dilling the
- 28:32Speaker 2: team that's had three buyouts since twenty twenty.
- 28:36Speaker 4: And again I understand why, like why you put him there,
- 28:38Speaker 4: because that would be a home run type situation for them, Marler,
- 28:42Speaker 4: but it feels like they're gonna have to get a
- 28:46Speaker 4: James Franklin, a Jimbo Fisher.
- 28:49Speaker 7: Feels like an established like a Dan Moll, like like
- 28:53Speaker 7: an established good or Kelly.
- 28:59Speaker 4: Right, you think he wants and this isn't trying to
- 29:02Speaker 4: be funny. Do you think he wants to be in
- 29:04Speaker 4: the SEC anymore? No?
- 29:05Speaker 6: Probably not to.
- 29:07Speaker 5: Your point, dude.
- 29:08Speaker 2: Like somebody that could maybe I mean is Alburn. They're crazy,
- 29:11Speaker 2: like ready having to make some weird money.
- 29:13Speaker 5: Yeah, Albert's got a short, short leash, like somebody that
- 29:16Speaker 5: really doesn't have anything to lose, somebody that's already made
- 29:19Speaker 5: a name for themselves.
- 29:21Speaker 7: I'd hire Jimbo, so we call it Jimbo. I'd I'd say,
- 29:24Speaker 7: damn all Jimbo. James Franklin, what would you?
- 29:27Speaker 2: What did we say yesterday? Jimbo is forty five and
- 29:29Speaker 2: twenty five at A and now, yeah, I mean it's
- 29:32Speaker 2: not great, but like forty five and twenty five when
- 29:35Speaker 2: you've been it's also a national championship winning coach.
- 29:37Speaker 4: He is let's see in a while, in a minute
- 29:42Speaker 4: eleven seventeen twenty two, you've won twenty six games since
- 29:48Speaker 4: twenty twenty one, so yeah, you'll take four five and
- 29:50Speaker 4: twenty A.
- 29:51Speaker 7: Great talker and great for soundbites, so he'd be good
- 29:53Speaker 7: for entertainment.
- 29:55Speaker 6: And also I don't think I heard not one Hugh
- 29:57Speaker 6: free SoundBite.
- 29:59Speaker 2: No, hell, now, yeah you did. You'd hear some jimbos, right, I.
- 30:05Speaker 6: Don't think I ever. Yeah, I don't know.
- 30:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:08Speaker 4: Jimbo also has been at Auburn before as a court like,
- 30:11Speaker 4: he's been there a long time, knows the place, already
- 30:14Speaker 4: has some relationships there, So I'm calling it now.
- 30:18Speaker 2: I hate to leave. I'd hate to lose him on Tuesdays.
- 30:21Speaker 2: It's my co host.
- 30:23Speaker 5: He knows too, which they were awful at now. Hugh
- 30:26Speaker 5: Freeze is supposed to be an offensive coach, but like
- 30:29Speaker 5: their defense this year is really really good. The problem
- 30:32Speaker 5: is their offense is like almost historically bad. Could turn
- 30:36Speaker 5: that around.
- 30:37Speaker 2: DJ Dirkin right with thirty five Indy, how did you volunteer?
- 30:41Speaker 2: But you know about Ohio bo oh buddy, Yeah, win
- 30:45Speaker 2: forty eight hornboss, we could do it.
- 30:47Speaker 3: The guys that are coaching out their alma maters are
- 30:50Speaker 3: going to be really hard to get away there.
- 30:52Speaker 6: So I don't see Kenny being out for Auburn.
- 30:55Speaker 2: No, no, not for Auburt.
- 30:57Speaker 6: Honestly, I don't know if I even see him coming.
- 30:58Speaker 4: To Elis I not might be like why, Yeah, I
- 31:03Speaker 4: made I made the playoff.
- 31:04Speaker 2: My path is.
- 31:05Speaker 4: I don't want to say it's easy because the Big
- 31:07Speaker 4: twelve is from top to bottom, it's really good. I
- 31:11Speaker 4: mean it's it's definitely got some parody in that conference.
- 31:14Speaker 4: But yeah, like when you get home, like whatever home is,
- 31:18Speaker 4: That's why, Like Dane Landing was always intriguing because like
- 31:21Speaker 4: he didn't have the home. Yeah, he went to a
- 31:23Speaker 4: small school. He didn't go to a you know, big
- 31:25Speaker 4: state U. So like there was always that chance you
- 31:28Speaker 4: could maybe get him away from wherever he was. Like
- 31:32Speaker 4: we're drink Gough drinks. I think he went to one
- 31:35Speaker 4: of the schools like in the Carolinas or something, or
- 31:36Speaker 4: one of the like he's.
- 31:38Speaker 7: Already passed up home like whatever home was, Hey, I
- 31:41Speaker 7: need him. I didn't clarify something that in the chat here.
- 31:44Speaker 7: If anyone's confused about our if we didn't bring it
- 31:46Speaker 7: up enough, like we weren't saying Jimbo to l s
- 31:48Speaker 7: U thought about Auburn. There's people I think got mad
- 31:53Speaker 7: in the chat. No, we're not saying that we were
- 31:56Speaker 7: talking about the Auburn.
- 31:57Speaker 2: We're talking about the Auburn job at the YELSU job.
- 32:01Speaker 4: Uh Eli drinkings with the Arkansas Tech.
- 32:05Speaker 2: So we're think he's gonna go back to it. I
- 32:07Speaker 2: don't think he's gonna go to Arkansas Tech.
- 32:10Speaker 6: Maybe Arkansas.
- 32:12Speaker 2: No, he's got a better job now.
- 32:14Speaker 4: He is from uh he was born in Norman, Oklahoma.
- 32:18Speaker 7: When we come back, I want to get your let's
- 32:20Speaker 7: get your thoughts because you know him personally. Yeah, so
- 32:22Speaker 7: when we come back from the break, I want you
- 32:24Speaker 7: to give give us your thoughts on drink and what
- 32:27Speaker 7: like his potential fit no fit, what you think about that?
- 32:31Speaker 2: All right, and we'll do it right here on TV.
- 32:34Speaker 5: Off the bench a right.
- 32:35Speaker 4: Going to pelicanroof dot com, the website for Pelican Roofing.
- 32:38Speaker 4: Once you go to the website, remember you can click

- 33:48Speaker 1: This is off the Bench with Hester and Flynn, Baton
- 33:51Speaker 1: Rougees go to for all things Louisiana sports secret way right, All.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Right, all right, welcome back again, O t B here
- 34:37Speaker 4: live from the Raised Kine Studio.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Laundr. Did you hear our bump music yesterday? Hear about it.
- 34:45Speaker 6: I heard about it. I didn't hear the action.
- 34:48Speaker 2: You would not have appreciated it.
- 34:49Speaker 6: I don't think I'm hearing that.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Y'all just played Disney music the entire time we did
- 34:53Speaker 3: this idea.
- 34:53Speaker 7: Was then well, we were forced into it because of
- 34:57Speaker 7: the Disney dispute.
- 34:58Speaker 6: I don't feel like that's.
- 34:59Speaker 2: With YouTube television.
- 35:00Speaker 6: Well, wouldn't you want to not play Disney?
- 35:03Speaker 7: Well, because we quoted we quoted T Bob yesterday and
- 35:07Speaker 7: said the mouse always wins, So like we just gave
- 35:09Speaker 7: in that Disney's gonna win mouse because we agree he
- 35:13Speaker 7: will win.
- 35:14Speaker 3: Unfortunately, Yeah, pretty much content.
- 35:18Speaker 5: What do we sit on the YouTube TV ESPN? What
- 35:22Speaker 5: side are we on?
- 35:23Speaker 2: I don't really.
- 35:24Speaker 6: Care either because I think on both sides.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Initially they come on YouTube TV side.
- 35:30Speaker 5: It was initially, but remember they got into a dispute
- 35:34Speaker 5: with Fox and the NFL Sunday ticket literally two weeks
- 35:36Speaker 5: for the season.
- 35:37Speaker 7: It's like a business play. I get it from a
- 35:39Speaker 7: business standpoint. You you you want the best you you
- 35:42Speaker 7: want the best content, and then if you have the content,
- 35:45Speaker 7: you want the biggest premium for it. I get that,
- 35:48Speaker 7: and I get contract disputes, But like at the end
- 35:50Speaker 7: of the day, the main your main goal is to
- 35:54Speaker 7: take care of your client customers. And if I gotta
- 35:59Speaker 7: go another weekend and I don't have it, I'm YouTube
- 36:02Speaker 7: TV's gone.
- 36:03Speaker 2: I mean, Disney wins at that point.
- 36:04Speaker 7: Yeah, if they don't have it by Saturday, my subscriptions
- 36:08Speaker 7: canceled and I'm gonna get that.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Whatever Fubo or whatever you called it, or Hulu or
- 36:12Speaker 2: whatever it is.
- 36:13Speaker 7: And that's the problem is Disney owns Hulu and Fubo,
- 36:16Speaker 7: the two other companies that YouTube TV competes again.
- 36:19Speaker 5: Right, so but you know what, you know, they're gonna
- 36:20Speaker 5: have it.
- 36:21Speaker 3: I know, if I had to pick a side, I
- 36:23Speaker 3: would say I'm on YouTube TV side. But I think
- 36:25Speaker 3: they're both greedy and I think it's annoying.
- 36:31Speaker 7: I mean yeah, but I mean ESPN is the one saying, like, look,
- 36:36Speaker 7: we're paying for all these TV deals. Yeah, we're paying
- 36:39Speaker 7: the sec all this money for the rights. So I
- 36:43Speaker 7: gotta charge a little bit more ore cost, go up,
- 36:45Speaker 7: your CAUs go up. That's how business works.
- 36:48Speaker 3: The YouTube TV would have to charge us more if
- 36:51Speaker 3: they make the deal with So I guess actually I
- 36:55Speaker 3: brought myself around.
- 36:56Speaker 6: I'm on YouTube TV side.
- 37:00Speaker 2: They're finding to the little guys.
- 37:01Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I just flipp and change from direct
- 37:07Speaker 4: TV stream to YouTube TV full time, and here we are.
- 37:10Speaker 6: It used to be so simple.
- 37:11Speaker 10: I will say that everything that YouTube TV doesn't hold
- 37:16Speaker 10: have any cards though. No, I feel like they're they're
- 37:19Speaker 10: they're playing a losing hand because I think.
- 37:22Speaker 2: People are like me. If you got to go a
- 37:24Speaker 2: second straight weekend without college football, we're gone.
- 37:29Speaker 5: And again, there's there's other ways to get ESPN, like
- 37:32Speaker 5: you gotta have.
- 37:33Speaker 7: It, there is other ways to get it, but unless
- 37:36Speaker 7: you have YouTube TV apparently I have.
- 37:39Speaker 2: I pay, literally pay.
- 37:41Speaker 5: There's other streaming services outside of YouTube TV. You can
- 37:44Speaker 5: get a ESPN.
- 37:46Speaker 2: You can illegally get it on YouTube. Just drop the
- 37:48Speaker 2: TV part.
- 37:50Speaker 6: Just use crockstreams now.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Yeah hmm, just get used to watching Big ten. No,
- 37:59Speaker 2: I can't do that.
- 38:00Speaker 4: Uh.
- 38:00Speaker 2: I'd rather play outside.
- 38:02Speaker 6: At least the CW. You just need antennas.
- 38:05Speaker 2: It's true, just bunny years, that's gonna be a mastered
- 38:09Speaker 2: a CC.
- 38:09Speaker 7: Football's not never gonna w ain't going away, never gonna happen,
- 38:16Speaker 7: never gonna happen.
- 38:20Speaker 5: Speaking of the c W, the Beulichick got his first
- 38:23Speaker 5: conference win over the weekend.
- 38:24Speaker 2: Oh, good for him.
- 38:26Speaker 5: Turn another around.
- 38:29Speaker 2: Syracuse, Syracuse. That's embarrassing.
- 38:32Speaker 5: So many injuries.
- 38:33Speaker 6: Yeah, I think I'm gonna just go back to a
- 38:35Speaker 6: good old cable.
- 38:38Speaker 2: Do you get that through cocks?
- 38:40Speaker 6: Probably, right, or like direct TV or something.
- 38:43Speaker 7: You can't get it through the air waves anymore. Right,
- 38:45Speaker 7: Bunny years don't work right anymore? No, Bunny You're still.
- 38:47Speaker 2: Was not a thing.
- 38:48Speaker 7: A couple of years ago. I thought they said that
- 38:49Speaker 7: bunnyiers don't work anymore. Really, I thought they still sell them.
- 38:52Speaker 7: They cut the streams off.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 38:54Speaker 4: Yeah, I hadn't had a parent. Wow, can't at it?
- 39:02Speaker 4: So Eli drink with uh yeah, talk about it.
- 39:05Speaker 2: So what do you think?
- 39:06Speaker 7: So you know him personally? You have interviewed him a bunch.
- 39:09Speaker 7: I think you texted him every now and then. Yeah,
- 39:11Speaker 7: So like, what do you think that when you hear
- 39:14Speaker 7: those rumors of because I haven't heard you mention the
- 39:17Speaker 7: name a lot when we.
- 39:17Speaker 4: Start talking about the LSU coach because I don't know
- 39:19Speaker 4: how realistic it is. Yeah, because he's built something pretty
- 39:25Speaker 4: pretty special at Missouri.
- 39:26Speaker 2: I mean, let's let's take a look at specials.
- 39:29Speaker 4: But one way to put it twenty twenty three, eleven
- 39:33Speaker 4: and two finished eighth in the country, beat Ohio State
- 39:36Speaker 4: in the Cotton Bowl. Twenty twenty four, ten and three
- 39:39Speaker 4: finished twentieth in the country. And this year, what are
- 39:42Speaker 4: they six, seven and two, seven and two maybe so, Yeah,
- 39:47Speaker 4: he's forty four and twenty six at his time at Missouri.
- 39:51Speaker 4: Early on, obviously, I think they were five hundred every
- 39:57Speaker 4: year before the bowl game, and then twenty twenty three
- 40:00Speaker 4: he's when they started to turn it around. He's had
- 40:02Speaker 4: top twenty recruiting classes every year since then. The state
- 40:07Speaker 4: of Missouri does have some special laws for them when
- 40:10Speaker 4: it comes to nil and they're the only FBS team
- 40:13Speaker 4: in the state of Missouri, right so even though ELS's
- 40:17Speaker 4: like a big dog, there's certainly other FBS teams, so
- 40:21Speaker 4: they have some advantages there At Missouri. It would all
- 40:26Speaker 4: be like, does he want to continue to elevate or
- 40:28Speaker 4: is he happy at a place like Missouri.
- 40:30Speaker 2: That would be the question. Now, Hey, four and twenty
- 40:33Speaker 2: six is surprising him. I thought it'd be better.
- 40:35Speaker 4: Well, his first year five five, six and six, six
- 40:38Speaker 4: and six, he just gave me Jim Jimbo's had a
- 40:40Speaker 4: better record overall. Well, he took over a really bad
- 40:44Speaker 4: Missouri football program, right, and so they've they've been in
- 40:48Speaker 4: bowl games every year, but the last three years of
- 40:52Speaker 4: when you've seen kind of the change and the turnaround
- 40:54Speaker 4: for drink.
- 40:57Speaker 2: I know one thing, they go run the football.
- 41:01Speaker 4: They're like consistently top twenty five in the nation since
- 41:04Speaker 4: he's been there running the football there tenth I believe
- 41:06Speaker 4: this year in running the football.
- 41:08Speaker 2: So would you like it? Would it be a home run? Oh,
- 41:10Speaker 2: I'd like Drink? Yeah, I think a lot of Drink.
- 41:14Speaker 4: You would probably keep I think your entire defensive staff
- 41:18Speaker 4: probably in place as well.
- 41:20Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I think you've said that. We've said that
- 41:22Speaker 2: about everybody almost.
- 41:24Speaker 4: Yeah, but like for like Drink and Blake Baker are
- 41:27Speaker 4: tight obviously from his time in Missouri, So you would
- 41:31Speaker 4: have some continuity there. You would have some familiarity like
- 41:35Speaker 4: with the players with obviously the defensive staff.
- 41:37Speaker 2: You wouldn't have to learn a brand new staff.
- 41:39Speaker 4: No, I mean I think I think Eli Drinkwitz has
- 41:41Speaker 4: shown that he can win at a place like Missouri.
- 41:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I'll go that far, I think. So, I mean
- 41:49Speaker 2: again in the sec six and two, five and three
- 41:54Speaker 2: at Missouri, Like what can you do at lsu KP.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Can you elevate that I have a metaphor gun to
- 42:00Speaker 2: your head right now, Eli Drinkwitz layne Kiffen.
- 42:07Speaker 4: Metaphor and we'll answer that when we come back here
- 42:10Speaker 4: on ot B off the bench. All right, got all

- 44:32Speaker 2: All right, Eli, drink what to Lane Kivin. Yeah, what
- 44:34Speaker 2: do you think, Bud. I've been on the edge of
- 44:35Speaker 2: my seat, honestly.
- 44:37Speaker 4: I mean, there's like five or six guys that I
- 44:40Speaker 4: truly think could win at LSU, because I think LSU
- 44:42Speaker 4: is looking for something different. At least I hope they're
- 44:44Speaker 4: looking for something different, something like we've laid out and
- 44:47Speaker 4: how much you care about the job, that you know,
- 44:49Speaker 4: the desire to be great, all those type of things.
- 44:56Speaker 4: I honestly I don't.
- 44:58Speaker 2: I don't.
- 44:58Speaker 4: I don't care like either either one of the those
- 45:00Speaker 4: guys I think would probably do well.
- 45:02Speaker 2: I do like how Drink runs the football. I love
- 45:05Speaker 2: the outside zone concept that they have. It's not trickam, dickam.
- 45:09Speaker 2: It is like straight up, hey, we're gonna line up.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Wants to But it's just different looks at different. It
- 45:15Speaker 2: is different. So I don't know.
- 45:17Speaker 4: I certainly can make an argument for Drink. I think
- 45:20Speaker 4: when you would keep the defensive staff in place, you
- 45:23Speaker 4: have a relationship with them already.
- 45:25Speaker 2: They they know this place. You're not starting over.
- 45:27Speaker 4: I mean, you're talking about your edge rusher's coach, you're
- 45:31Speaker 4: talking about your defensive coordinator, you're talking about your safety's coach.
- 45:33Speaker 4: Already have coached under Eli Drinkwitz. I think that would
- 45:37Speaker 4: from day one be a smoother transition. Okay, so Eli overlane.
- 45:43Speaker 4: There it is heard it here.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Hates Lane. Yeah, definitely said that. All right, we'll be
- 45:51Speaker 2: back our number two of oo TV off the bench,
