- 0:00[SPEAKER_07]: What if I told you there is one thing you can do every week for an entire year, and you'll never have to worry about money again Welcome to the department.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_07]: We have a live studio audience with us make some noise This is crazy Oh, and so
- 0:22[SPEAKER_07]: And then I want to welcome my name is Omar Otzakori, the host of this podcast and my co-hosts, art.mp4.
- 0:27[SPEAKER_10]: Let's go, we're back, why?
- 0:32[SPEAKER_07]: You know how you know you know how you have a strong personal brand, or how to know you have a strong personal brand.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_07]: When people around you got a personal brand.
- 0:42[SPEAKER_07]: Let's go, shout out to art.mp4.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_07]: Let's go.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_07]: We are currently in a trust recession.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_07]: Building trust is so hard because skepticism is so high.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_07]: If you're either listening, watching, or in this room, weigh that me if you've purchased the course.
- 1:02[SPEAKER_07]: Keep your hand up if you went through that entire course.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_07]: OK, very few.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_07]: The thing is, we know ourselves to not do things,
- 1:19[SPEAKER_07]: Not good people, too, also.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_07]: So what's the one thing you could do?
- 1:23[SPEAKER_07]: One so weak, to not only fix your money problems, but also fortify your future?
- 1:31[SPEAKER_07]: The answer is to upload one long video a week on YouTube.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_07]: I have done nothing different.
- 1:43[SPEAKER_07]: No tricks, no hacks, no shortcuts,
- 1:48[SPEAKER_07]: no script.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_07]: I've just uploaded one long-form video to my YouTube channel.
- 1:57[SPEAKER_07]: If I told you that you would become a millionaire in a year or two years time because of this conversation
- 2:18[SPEAKER_07]: because I found that there with anyone can show up and share three tips in 10 seconds and 30 seconds.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_07]: But when you put your essence on display, and you show up for a long period of time, people begin to trust you, and business is built by no like and trust.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_07]: And so the way to accelerate trust
- 2:48[SPEAKER_07]: The only way to build trust on automation is to be discovered on YouTube and for people that hang out with you.
- 2:56[SPEAKER_07]: Who here feels like they know me, even though they met me for the first time today?
- 3:03[SPEAKER_07]: It's crazy.
- 3:05[SPEAKER_07]: How, how, how other way can we create that effect?
- 3:09[SPEAKER_07]: You can't.
- 3:11[SPEAKER_07]: And so, I even begin to think about this.
- 3:15[SPEAKER_07]: Churches do this.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_07]: The pastor focuses all their attention on one long message.
- 3:25[SPEAKER_09]: Right.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_07]: Once a week, rain or shine.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_07]: And here's the reality.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_07]: You have to give yourself the permission to show up consistently regardless of what is happening.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_07]: What I love about the local church is that no matter what rain or shine, it's always there.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_07]: when you're ready, they'll show up.
- 3:51[SPEAKER_07]: But the key is to create some level of consistency so people can grab onto it.
- 3:57[SPEAKER_07]: From the last 99 episodes, what has been your perspective on what's, as far as impact or whatever, like.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_10]: I would say, like we started the pod, not,
- 4:14[SPEAKER_10]: Like with no big goal in mind, you just knew you needed to get uploads every week.
- 4:19[SPEAKER_10]: And we didn't think that like, there would be a fan base or there would be loyal viewers.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_07]: I, we started recording podcasts before I had a name for the podcast.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_07]: Literally.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_07]: We started recording podcasts before I knew who the,
- 4:34[SPEAKER_10]: target audience was right like I mean we didn't think this was going to happen the 100 episode lot like that was nowhere near our radar so I think the biggest lesson is just start like we literally I remember we were in the studio at 5 a.m. Omar was making the first thumbnail and we were like do we need to just drop it we just need to get it out and like we dropped it that morning on a win it was literally on a win there was no planning
- 5:00[SPEAKER_07]: Bro, don't put that on me, I did always.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_07]: I was planning, bro.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_10]: Bro, Omar doesn't know what he's doing.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_07]: No, I've been thinking it this whole time.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_07]: When we all kind of fake in it, let's just be honest.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_07]: No, and I didn't have a, I mean, I was recording throughout the summer.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_07]: And, but it's like, hey,
- 5:22[SPEAKER_07]: I got a wife, I got a friend, let's shoot a podcast.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_07]: And that's how the first episode went.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_07]: So what I want to do is I want to give you five things that you can do to secure your personal brand in 2026.
- 5:37[SPEAKER_07]: These are the five things I've learned after uploading 100 episodes.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_07]: And even the internal dialogue I had with myself about this podcast.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_07]: So the first thing you want to do is you want to establish your reason, establish your reason.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_07]: Your reason for doing something will allow you to do it no matter what happens.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_07]: The stronger the reasons, the better the results.
- 6:07[SPEAKER_07]: You actually don't get results until you establish a strong enough reason.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_07]: Simon Cinnick has written a book and it's entitled, start with why.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_07]: So the question has to, you have to answer the question, what is my why?
- 6:24[SPEAKER_07]: And I think some people's why, many times is, it has good and pure intentions because my why's I just wanna create an impact.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_07]: It's still about you.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_07]: And here's what I've learned about why.
- 6:46[SPEAKER_07]: It comes after X.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_07]: Now I'm just kidding, I don't know.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_07]: Whoa, bro.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_07]: The number one question I usually get asked by people like you is Omar, how the heck does your videos look and sounds so dang crispy?
- 6:59[SPEAKER_07]: Well, the reality is it's the equipment I use and you'd be surprised how inexpensive it could actually be.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_07]: So I've compiled all my gear and I've updated the list and I want to give it to you.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_07]: So if you're listening or watching this, just hit the description box below and I'll send you my gear guide for every budget.
- 7:14[SPEAKER_07]: Now let's get back into the conversation.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_07]: Here's what I learned about wise.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_07]: Wise are actually who's.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_07]: So rather than starting with why, ask yourself the question, who are you doing this for?
- 7:34[SPEAKER_07]: When you know who you're doing it for, and your why should make you cry?
- 7:41[SPEAKER_07]: Your why should make you cry?
- 7:42[SPEAKER_10]: What if it doesn't?
- 7:44[SPEAKER_07]: Then it's not a strong enough, what?
- 7:46[SPEAKER_07]: My why is my family like when you have, when you have a strong enough why when you're setting the intention and the who matters more than you.
- 8:01[SPEAKER_07]: You know what happens to the hate or the negativity or the obstacle or the disruption?
- 8:07[SPEAKER_07]: Is it doesn't matter.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_07]: because when most people say, oh my, I don't know how to, I can mean when I show up consistently, like no one's watching, no one's buying anything, or this hater on the Zoom call, and it's like the one bad voice, and it's like, that person's never gonna be your customer.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_07]: And you're not even doing it for them, but it's so easy to focus on the negative, you know, comment or the negative response, but when you know who you're doing it for, nothing else matters.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_07]: Nothing else matters, bro.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_07]: And I've just learned personally in my life that when I started to prioritize my family, my marriage and that be the reason the ripple effect has allowed to touch you guys and people that aren't in this room and people that are watching or listening to this podcast and
- 9:08[SPEAKER_07]: And this, the intention, too, is to make sure you don't give yourself a reason to opt out before you even start.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_07]: I'll do this if you're giving yourself an out before you jumped in.
- 9:25[SPEAKER_09]: It's really good.
- 9:27[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm, you could steal this for me.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_07]: And this is why I've been able to show up consistently, rain or shine.
- 9:37[SPEAKER_07]: No matter what was going on, I told myself, I'm going to upload a video on YouTube until Jesus comes back.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_10]: That's still an out, but yeah, bro, I ain't coming back.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_07]: There, that's actually very true.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_07]: He's not coming back for a while.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_07]: Give yourself a big out.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_07]: As long as your out is out there.
- 10:03[SPEAKER_07]: Some camps don't believe he's coming back.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_07]: They're like post-trib, but what's the thing?
- 10:12[SPEAKER_07]: I just want to ask you the question.
- 10:16[SPEAKER_07]: Like, what's the thing that's going to make sure that you don't do this?
- 10:21[SPEAKER_07]: If it's an outcome that is out of your control, you're not going to follow through.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_07]: Outcomes aren't in our control.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_07]: the only thing you can control are outputs.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_07]: And so I'm giving you an output that you can do once a week.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_07]: You're the variable.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_07]: You know, some of you guys know this story, but some don't.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_07]: A couple years ago, I lost a hundred thousand dollars to a Ponzi scheme.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_07]: Shoot.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_07]: And I risked hard earned money.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_07]: on something I couldn't control.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_07]: Now, what I've learned was, you can risk hard earned money on your business, on yourself, on your life because you are the variable.
- 11:13[SPEAKER_07]: And so when I started to invest in myself, the return was 100x, infinite return on that investment, but everything I make from what I make, I don't risk because I can't control that outcome.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_07]: So in your efforts of wanting to show up for people once a week don't make the output the goal or the outcome the goal.
- 11:37[SPEAKER_07]: Don't make the outcomes the goal because that's the big thing you guys think about.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what happens if nobody watches or what happens if nobody and get no ones engaging, was engagement the reason why, did you know engagement must be initiated?
- 11:51[SPEAKER_07]: So I would argue
- 11:54[SPEAKER_07]: people are engaging and because you don't just don't have a lot of it, it's why you're probably not tapping in.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_07]: But what a good time to engage with people who aren't even commenting yet.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_07]: Like the question is, are you engaging?
- 12:06[SPEAKER_10]: Okay, you said your your investment on yourself was 100x.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, it's infinite because it's still going.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_10]: But like what would you say if there's people that are like, I'm scared to bet on myself though, because I don't trust myself, maybe.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_07]: People don't trust themselves because they don't keep their word, so you begin to trust yourself when you show up for what it is you say.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_07]: This is because, and I'm not even just saying that just to say that.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_07]: Like Jesus himself was the word.
- 12:46[SPEAKER_07]: Like Jesus had full confidence in himself because everything he said, he was walking truth.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_07]: And I wouldn't go on to say, if you want to be anything like God, keep your word.
- 13:00[SPEAKER_07]: You don't trust yourself because you're hiding.
- 13:03[SPEAKER_07]: And you tend to hide when you don't show up for something you say.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_07]: This is why, sorry is powerful.
- 13:11[SPEAKER_07]: Sorry takes ownership, saying sorry that you didn't show up for something, or the context of this conversation could be even in the realm of even marriage and self, because a lot of times when I make an offer,
- 13:30[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm like, of course, you need to talk to your spouse.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_07]: But are you talking to your spouse because they don't trust you?
- 13:37[SPEAKER_07]: And the question is, why don't they trust you?
- 13:40[SPEAKER_07]: Well, it's probably because the last thing you did or you said that you were gonna do, you didn't.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_07]: So now you're having to hide or cover up or make up something because you didn't keep your word.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_07]: So the best way to build confidence is to just keep your word.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_09]: It's great.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, and start small, you could start small.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_07]: Um, I said, keep your word.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_07]: All right, number two, assemble your relationships.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_07]: No one has ever succeeded on this platform without a team.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_07]: If you want to accelerate your success, make it about the success of others, I just had a conversation this week in New York with a friend of James Calam Johnson.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_07]: People mistake me for him, by the way, because he has a beard and he's black.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not black though.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 14:52[SPEAKER_10]: That's wild.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, yeah.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_07]: Like, no, I wasn't, that wasn't.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_07]: That was this other guy who has a beard and is black.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_07]: And it's black.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, light skin.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_07]: Well, me, I'm light skin.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_07]: You guys want me to be black?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_07]: Paul says I've become, I've become all things to all people.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_07]: So, bro, if you want me to be heard, I could put on my hood.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_10]: All right, I gagged.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_07]: I know.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_10]: No, no, no, no, no.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, department fan, question for you.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_07]: Based on you listening to this podcast, you probably are either looking to grow your personal brand this year.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_07]: build your audience online and just stop chasing business and start to have business chasing you.
- 15:42[SPEAKER_07]: If that's you, I want to invite you to the content to cash challenge.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_07]: This is a five-day coaching experience, a live coaching experience with myself that's done all on Zoom and you get access to a private community and it really is unlike any other experience that I offer.
- 15:57[SPEAKER_07]: By the end of the challenge, you'll have unreal clarity on what you're supposed to do online and you'll have the insight on how you can make an extra six or even seven figures.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, I said seven figures in your business this year.
- 16:10[SPEAKER_07]: And if any of those things sound great to you, I want you to join the next content to cast challenge.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_07]: Scan the QR code if you're watching on a television or click the link in the description.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_07]: Once you go through it, go ahead and upgrade to VIP because you'll get an extra hour of bonus VIP Q&A.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_07]: with me every single day of the challenge.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_07]: And so looking forward to seeing you there.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_07]: Let's get back into the combo.
- 16:30[SPEAKER_07]: But what I love, he was, he wanted to start a podcast, but he doesn't know camera equipment and editing.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_07]: And he had a full-time job.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_07]: And this was two, two and a half years ago.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_07]: And he just rolled out of his tongue when we were just talking.
- 16:45[SPEAKER_07]: And he was like, yeah, and then I was paying this editor, I was like, you were paying an editor as an employee to have a podcast.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_07]: Because I don't want to learn that stuff, yeah, and I was renting a studio, so like even from the jump he started with a team.
- 17:06[SPEAKER_07]: And when I say a team, this means hired help.
- 17:10[SPEAKER_07]: This means tap in and include your partner.
- 17:14[SPEAKER_07]: This means find somebody to help you along the process because the people have gifts.
- 17:21[SPEAKER_07]: And your gift is meant to be used for others to use.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, for people who can't hire, though, or make hires.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, yeah.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_10]: You would say it's like a free community at like the community.
- 17:34[SPEAKER_07]: Join a community, start a tech group with people.
- 17:37[SPEAKER_07]: You know what?
- 17:38[SPEAKER_07]: I was texting a lot of local friends here to come friends from church, friends from my past.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm like, this phone book is goes crazy.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_07]: There's a crazy farm of people in your phone book.
- 17:56[SPEAKER_07]: And so when I say start with a team, please don't take that as like I need to hire people know.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_07]: It means who are you who are you giving your word to in close proximity so that they can even see you show up.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, it actually gives you a level of accountability because now there's a responsibility to do it with somebody else.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_07]: So start that text group chat, join the program.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_07]: So you can process the information with somebody else.
- 18:25[SPEAKER_07]: And I would stand here, or I guess sit here today, and say I could not have done this without art.mp4.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_07]: I'm grateful for you.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_07]: He has been a part of in various capacities every single podcast, from the edit itself to being the host.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_07]: And now he's a celebrity.
- 18:56[SPEAKER_07]: But I just want to say like straight up, you're the team, which is why this even possible.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_07]: And I could not have done it and I wouldn't want to have done it without you.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_07]: I love you.
- 19:08[SPEAKER_09]: Love you.
- 19:14[SPEAKER_10]: What is this?
- 19:15[SPEAKER_10]: What's happening?
- 19:16[SPEAKER_07]: I wanted to get art again.
- 19:19[SPEAKER_07]: This is a good time to pull out your phones.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_07]: This is for rockin' with me and being down for giving me your mind, for giving the world your gift and for just being a safe place for me.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_07]: I love you.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_07]: Love you, man.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_07]: Gotta open it up.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_10]: Oh gosh.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_10]: You got to open it up stop Is this happening?
- 19:50[SPEAKER_10]: Dude stop.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_10]: Oh my Oh my god.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_10]: Are you insane?
- 20:15[SPEAKER_07]: it's just the green box so I got art a Rolex yott master
- 20:33[SPEAKER_07]: with a rodium dial, which has platinum mixed in.
- 20:37[SPEAKER_07]: And what I love about this watch is it reminds me of you.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_07]: It's classy, it's sporty.
- 20:44[SPEAKER_07]: But also, it's a 37 millimeter watch, which Rolex hasn't made in another watch, which is very unique.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_07]: And there's no one like you.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_07]: Put it on dog, you're gonna put it on for the rest of the pod, didn't you?
- 21:10[SPEAKER_07]: I'm doing it.
- 21:13[SPEAKER_07]: And no, it's not DH gate.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_10]: I could, I could further record, I'm an emotional guy.
- 21:21[SPEAKER_10]: I could get very emotional right now, but I'm trying to keep it together.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_07]: Right, bro?
- 21:26[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_01]: Shee!
- 21:31[SPEAKER_10]: Talk.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_10]: This is why, oh my gosh, okay, all right, he's gonna be like okay and point number three Bro, is it is it too late to put in my
- 21:54[SPEAKER_07]: two weeks.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I put him on top of this.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_07]: That's hilarious.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_07]: Um, grateful for you and legit that this platform, by the way, when I'm saying like put out consistent content, we think it's taking from us.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_07]: If I'm not like, we do really well in the business.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_07]: I don't really count YouTube Google by add sense as like business income, but this year we'll make close to $100,000 from Google.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_07]: for doing this thing that I'm talking about today.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm just saying I could not have done it without you.
- 22:30[SPEAKER_07]: And I also could not have done this without my wife.
- 22:34[SPEAKER_07]: And so I got my wife a watch too.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_10]: What?
- 22:38[SPEAKER_10]: Bro!
- 22:39[SPEAKER_07]: Let's shout out, where's uh, next watch?
- 22:42[SPEAKER_07]: What is going on?
- 22:53[SPEAKER_07]: So, come here, oh my gosh, okay, so this is okay, I'm still shaking.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_07]: This watch has my birth year and they call this a patina Rolex because of how it's reacted to the external environment and it's highly desirable and I want to say,
- 23:20[SPEAKER_07]: I love our patina of our love.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_07]: And I'm so glad you're mine.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_07]: And thank you for being on the team.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_11]: This is so bright.
- 23:30[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_07]: I have to be the part of it.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_07]: Wow.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_07]: You can sign it.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_07]: Well, it's been, it's 1991, bro.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_07]: I love that.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_07]: But yes, it's like a lot of cool.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_07]: It's like yellowed and stuff.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_07]: But it's desirable because of the chemicals and stuff.
- 23:47[SPEAKER_07]: And I love it.
- 23:53[SPEAKER_10]: You get a lot.
- 23:57[SPEAKER_07]: You get a lot.
- 24:01[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, in 2023, when we set out to do this thing, it was Art and Amanda.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_07]: But I want you to think about who are the people in your world to do this with you.
- 24:17[SPEAKER_07]: Number three, dial in the routine.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_07]: dial in the routine.
- 24:23[SPEAKER_07]: You got to establish a reason, assemble your relationships, and dial in your routine.
- 24:27[SPEAKER_07]: How are you going to show up weekly?
- 24:31[SPEAKER_07]: And let me, let me say this.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_07]: I am I am a YouTube guy and I love YouTube and I think there's so much power in it, but you could find your medium to do this.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_07]: But the routine is very important because your process is what's going to allow you to show it
- 24:51[SPEAKER_07]: you get to decide this, and so don't pick a routine that is outside of your ability to keep up with it.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_07]: When are you going to show up?
- 25:06[SPEAKER_07]: We've made it a pretty key thing for us to just get something shot between Monday and Tuesday.
- 25:14[SPEAKER_07]: you know like if it's a solo pod and we call this like a solo pod even though there's two people but sometimes with a guest yeah so yeah if I have a guest and I like no shade every time I say no shade it means the clouds are coming this Monday somebody is coming to the studio to be a guest on my podcast and they they paid they wired me $20,000
- 25:42[SPEAKER_07]: Like, by the way, when I started the podcast, I didn't think it was going to be something people would desire to want to be here.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_07]: So I know people who travel and communicate for a living and they put their bodies on the line and they put their brain on the line and their emotions and their energy.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_07]: I get to come here Monday like a regular day of work and there's a $20,000 a day.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_07]: I don't say this to sound arrogant.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_07]: I'm just saying, you don't know what's going to come from your consistent obedient activity.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_07]: That's what I'm trying to say.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_07]: I said in a couple of what last week's podcast, Bro, you still crying.
- 26:28[SPEAKER_07]: I'm all you're trying to like give game.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_07]: I'm sorry.
- 26:30[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_07]: That's good, bro, cry, dude.
- 26:34[SPEAKER_10]: It's like delayed, it's hitting me, dude.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, it comes in waves.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_07]: What?
- 26:40[SPEAKER_07]: What do we say?
- 26:41[SPEAKER_07]: I said consistent activity leads to snap.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_07]: That leads to snap.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_07]: No, consistent activity leads to indirect opportunity.
- 26:58[SPEAKER_07]: There it is.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_07]: Consistent activity leads to indirect opportunity.
- 27:03[SPEAKER_07]: Sometimes the actions you're taking, you have what you think it makes sense.
- 27:11[SPEAKER_07]: But the world and God is so much bigger than what makes sense in our mind.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_07]: God can do exceedingly abundantly above all we can ask think or imagine.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_07]: So whatever is the equation between your action and your outcome, the indirect benefit you have no idea.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_07]: It's actually not for you to know.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_07]: If somebody told me Omar started a podcast, people are going to pay you 20 grand to be on.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_07]: I'd be like, oh my goodness.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_07]: Why, I wouldn't have seen the value in that.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, on that note, Chris Pundslam is like a crazy example of that.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_10]: Shot-up podcast and he got saved because of you talking about your faith on that podcast.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_10]: And I mean, you didn't go on that podcast thinking, I'm going to save Chris if he sees his video like no.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_07]: No, you never know.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_07]: And then speaking of him, this is a friend of ours like his name Chris Pundslam,
- 28:09[SPEAKER_07]: offense taken.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, no, he was in New York.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, yeah.
- 28:12[SPEAKER_07]: He's still in NYC.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_07]: No, he just, he was, he's been creating content for consistently for like 10 years in different capacities and he just got brought on as a creative director for a start-up to help caregivers have community and he actually has stake in the company.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_07]: So when it sells, bro's going to cash out, but all he did was show up online consistently.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_07]: Did he do it for that?
- 28:39[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 28:41[SPEAKER_07]: Consistent activity leads to indirect opportunity.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_10]: That is a OE original bar right there.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks for guessing me up.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_07]: Um, now we're talking about routine.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going to give you four content formats.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_07]: So you can choose one of these ways to show up online.
- 29:01[SPEAKER_07]: And whatever comes in your mind as a obstacle, I want you to break it.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_07]: Just, just, okay, it's no longer an obstacle.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm just going to, we're going to go through these, but it's talking head.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_07]: Video podcasting, vlogging, and live streaming.
- 29:25[SPEAKER_07]: Talking head video is a great routine of a content format.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_07]: You can have a setup somewhere that you don't touch.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_07]: I did this for my pastor.
- 29:36[SPEAKER_07]: I gave him a setup.
- 29:38[SPEAKER_07]: I said, don't touch it.
- 29:41[SPEAKER_07]: And now he's showing up consistently.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_07]: with his podcast, all you need is a system.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_07]: But the system doesn't need to be updated.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_07]: Really, we've been shooting the podcast with the same system for two years, two and a half years.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_07]: Like, just set it and forget it.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_07]: This is why talking head video is great.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_07]: Now, I'm gonna give you a little trick, okay?
- 30:07[SPEAKER_07]: Here's how to make talking head video more interesting.
- 30:10[SPEAKER_07]: Have a visual aid.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_07]: have a visual aid.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_07]: What's a visual aid?
- 30:15[SPEAKER_07]: A visual aid.
- 30:17[SPEAKER_07]: This is why I have art.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_07]: See, he represents you.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_07]: Did you guys all think the same thing that he just asked?
- 30:23[SPEAKER_07]: A visual aid is a yacht master on your wrist.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_07]: Now I'm just kidding.
- 30:28[SPEAKER_07]: A visual aid is like a whiteboard.
- 30:33[SPEAKER_07]: or an iPad where you write or a slide deck or you get notebooks and you get a fat Sharpie and you write your points and you just hold it up.
- 30:42[SPEAKER_07]: Here's what's cool.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_07]: You don't need to edit in your visual aids.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_07]: It could be in real time.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_07]: So, and here's what's cool about this is now you don't have to edit the video.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_07]: So, I'm gonna save the point and then I'm gonna hold it up, dial in your routine.
- 31:00[SPEAKER_07]: That's the visual aid or if you if you wanted to draw something, you know, I think one of the biggest misconceptions we absorb and keeps us from showing up online is that it needs to be polished.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_07]: What you guys are experiencing right now you're getting the richest experience from this conversation more than the people watching or listening and this isn't edited.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_07]: So I want you to know, even though it's digitally consumed, humans still want to watch a human, that's not edited.
- 31:35[SPEAKER_09]: Right.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_07]: Like when we go to college or when people go to a classroom, we're not looking for an edited human being.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_07]: The person's gonna sneeze and people are gonna say bless you.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_07]: People are gonna need water and then continue on.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_07]: And I actually think there's a charm in that.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_07]: When we're talking about building trust online, I actually think the least edited the content is the better.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, I mean, would you say the tides have turned now?
- 32:03[SPEAKER_10]: Like it used to be whoever had a great editor or a solid team,
- 32:10[SPEAKER_10]: they were kind of winning.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_10]: But now it's like people are tired of it and they want raw content.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_10]: I mean, it's a big reason why TikTok does so well is because people just film themselves on their phones and they talk and they go out, you know, right, do their day.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean, I think it's not only, it's not only the tightest journey, it's just becoming more commoditized.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_07]: and, and so you have an option.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_07]: You have an option to create a routine that is very hard to keep up, or you can just not edit a video.
- 32:44[SPEAKER_07]: You decide.
- 32:45[SPEAKER_07]: Now here's what's crazy.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_07]: If somebody finds you on a little to no edited video, that's the expectation you've created for that viewer.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_07]: But when you hire a team to make it something where it's a ton of work, you created an expectation where that's what people want from you every time you show up.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_07]: And so if you give them anything less, they're going to be kind of like disappointed.
- 33:09[SPEAKER_10]: How you start it is how you'll sustain it.
- 33:11[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_07]: And I just, again, like, this is cool because in the world of AI, my business coach, my own golden would say, at one point attention was the goal.
- 33:27[SPEAKER_07]: So like every, every eight seconds change something on screen.
- 33:33[SPEAKER_07]: Now authenticity is the goal because AI can get attention.
- 33:40[SPEAKER_07]: But AI can't be authentic because AI doesn't have a spirit.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_10]: It's almost like you guys have an upper hand.
- 33:47[SPEAKER_07]: What?
- 33:48[SPEAKER_10]: AI can't do what you can do.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, 100.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_07]: Now, you can use AI as a tool, like maybe to help you outline the thing you want to talk about.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_07]: Whatever, use it as a tool.
- 33:58[SPEAKER_07]: But what I mean is just you create that effect.
- 34:02[SPEAKER_07]: I would rather have a thousand true fans
- 34:08[SPEAKER_07]: than millions of people that watch me for entertainment.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_07]: So good.
- 34:13[SPEAKER_07]: Because there's depth and relationship, and that can't be, you can't replace these things.
- 34:20[SPEAKER_07]: And so I'm giving you the keys to kill all excuses.
- 34:24[SPEAKER_07]: And so talking head video, the next is a video podcast.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_07]: I love a good conversation.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_07]: Kyle Anderson's here who runs Think Media's YouTube channel.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_07]: I've created content with Kyle.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_07]: The same idea, different formats.
- 34:45[SPEAKER_07]: And here's why I love podcasting.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_07]: Is number one, I get to leverage the guests' expertise.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_07]: So I don't have to show up and make up the content.
- 34:54[SPEAKER_07]: But number two, it makes the edit easier.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_07]: Because I'm not necessarily demonstrating what I have to do though as I have to get really good at articulating.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_07]: And so it's forced me to become better at communicating because I don't have B-roll.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_07]: But I'm letting your imagination create the B-roll while I'm talking, which from someone who's done it all in every season, I've been creating videos for 18 years.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_07]: This is the easiest way to show up for me, especially as a conversationalist and a professional yapper.
- 35:34[SPEAKER_10]: Professional yapper, like good night gosh.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_07]: But it was the format I chose.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_07]: And by the way, not to get all techy, even though I love gear and stuff, there's this device called a road video caster where you could plug in two cameras and two mics and every time somebody talks, the angle will change for you.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_07]: it auto switches you don't even need another there's your team yeah but when you're done you have a file that you can just upload straight to youtube is this too easy it's too easy that's funny though it's easy but then why don't we do it?
- 36:16[SPEAKER_07]: This is why I've gotten in the game of killing beliefs because the only thing standing in front of people's way is literally their mind.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_07]: And so what I do is I simplify things.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_07]: They say the more simplistic, the more prolific.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_07]: And it's funny because we want to be all sound smart.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_07]: But it's no, no, no, people.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_07]: I've said this before, but Jordan Peterson is a really sharp dude as we all know.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_07]: I personally don't consume his content because I feel dumb afterwards.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_10]: It's real, no, yeah.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_07]: I just don't know what he said for an hour.
- 36:48[SPEAKER_07]: I'm just a superstar.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_07]: So I was talking about trusting in yourself.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_07]: I don't trust myself after I listen to smart people, pontificate and use large words, like phenomenon.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_07]: But inside joke.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_10]: But it's why Alex Ramozi is so big and has seen so much success is because he is able to dumb things down.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_07]: And I mean, you're saying dumb things down.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_07]: But it's actually smart and things up.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_07]: Right.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_07]: You know, okay.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_10]: Anyway, but people can understand what he teaches because it's so simple.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_10]: Right.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_10]: And it's digestible.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_07]: 100.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_07]: So smart and things up, and maybe instead of saying, because we do this, we have sings in our life that we just believe, but they're not necessarily true.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_07]: We just dumb things down.
- 37:41[SPEAKER_07]: Is that crazy?
- 37:42[SPEAKER_07]: If I was working on my greatest talk and the goal was to dumb it down.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_07]: that it even in my mind by using those words, it messes with the ability to distill it.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_07]: Maybe distill it down over dumb it down.
- 37:59[SPEAKER_07]: But that's true.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_07]: They say like if you can make the content or communicate in a way where a fifth or third grader reading level would know it because I guess most, I guess we all have a third grader reading level.
- 38:12[SPEAKER_07]: But that's why it's attractive.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_07]: The next way you could show up is through a vlog, a vlog.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_07]: Here's what's cool about a vlog.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_07]: You don't need a light.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_07]: You don't need a studio.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_07]: You just do it where you're at.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_07]: And there's something raw there.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_07]: Now, if you do want to go and show up and make a vlog, again, just don't edit it.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_07]: Just get a good microphone.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_07]: That's the only thing I would say.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_07]: It's $120 for a Holly Land Mark II wireless mic.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_07]: That plugs directly in your smartphone.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_10]: On Amazon, next-day shipping, no excuse.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_07]: No, look at the guys can have it tomorrow.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_07]: But what's cool about a vlog is the things that keep it going even if you're by yourself is actually the environment.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_07]: the trees blowing in the back, the environment you're in to shoot it.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_07]: Like, I actually shot a podcast in New York at the lobby of the hotel we were at, and mid-conversation, the security, or the general manager tapped me on the shoulder and was like, hey, you guys got to wrap this up for something I was like, somebody on your team said I could do this.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_07]: And it's like, this is all being captured online or on the cameras.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_07]: And I think I'm gonna leave it.
- 39:31[SPEAKER_07]: I'm just kind of like a shame too
- 39:34[SPEAKER_07]: The mad Omar came out because I asked the front desk lady she texted the GM and the GM said go ahead you can do it just be discrete I was like cool I'm shooting it on phones and then this guy comes in mid-conversation and so one of my biggest pet peeves in life is when you call me a liar.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_07]: So he didn't call me a liar.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_07]: I just took it as he was calling me a liar.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_07]: So I'm like, he's like, sir, you can't be doing this.
- 40:02[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, you guys said I can do this.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_07]: I'm only here right now because you gave me the thumbs up.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_07]: He's like, yeah, no, I don't, you know what I'm like.
- 40:10[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, you that person at the front desk.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_07]: Tested, texted your GM.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, sorry, you calling me a liar.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_07]: Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 40:23[SPEAKER_10]: I might have to cut it out.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_07]: Keep it.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_07]: We want Omar to fail.
- 40:26[SPEAKER_07]: I'm scared of it.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_07]: But there's just something, again, we're talking about human connection here.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_07]: I want you, I want your reputation to be accurate online.
- 40:47[SPEAKER_07]: Like, Roy Vadean says, your personal brand is the digitization of your reputation.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_07]: But I know when you guys turn on the cameras, you get all the lights.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, it's like a switch.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, you switch up, bro.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_07]: You no longer have motion twin.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_07]: Anyway, oh my, you're weird.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 41:10[SPEAKER_07]: And then the fourth way you could show up is through live streams.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_07]: Live stream is one of the most underrated ways to show up because you're done when it's done.
- 41:27[SPEAKER_07]: We could have live stream this.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_07]: I personally know where the energy needs to go in order for a live stream to be successful.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_07]: So I'll share my live stream framework with you.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_07]: But it's so good.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_07]: Just it's like who here has FaceTime conversations.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_07]: Wait, I mean, if you go, if you get on FaceTime, cool, like, okay, cool live stream.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_07]: It's literally a live stream.
- 42:00[SPEAKER_07]: Here's how you win with live streams.
- 42:03[SPEAKER_07]: Number one, you set the expectation to prioritize the replay viewer ship, or yeah, I'll say this again.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_07]: You want to prioritize the replay value over the live delivery.
- 42:20[SPEAKER_07]: More people will watch your live stream after you do it.
- 42:25[SPEAKER_07]: So don't go live and then drink and wait for people to show up.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_07]: For people to hop on, you know, like, you know, yeah, I'm just waiting.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_07]: Just waiting for people to hop on.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_07]: What will happen when somebody watches that once it's posted?
- 42:46[SPEAKER_07]: Soon.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_07]: So start with a strong introduction, and here's your introduction, ask a qualifying question, reveal a pain.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_07]: What if I told you that you can do one thing once a week for an entire year and never worry about money again, would you do it?
- 43:16[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, when you ask a question as a hook, that was role-playing, by the way.
- 43:21[SPEAKER_07]: When you ask a question, write off the jump as a hook.
- 43:24[SPEAKER_07]: People are too busy to click off because they're processing the question.
- 43:29[SPEAKER_07]: So there's this thing called clickbait, and it's because you clicked on a video, and immediately what you got wasn't what you clicked on.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_07]: And so if you enroll people, and I've noticed Jesus does this.
- 43:45[SPEAKER_07]: Matthew 1128, are you weary, burned out, heavy laden, and rolling question.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_10]: It's actually wild.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_10]: It's like a script.
- 43:55[SPEAKER_10]: It's literally like a script if you swap words.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_07]: So what is the pain that you're addressing?
- 44:02[SPEAKER_07]: You get nervous.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_07]: I'm looking at my brother who's a phenomenal preacher.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_07]: One of the greatest preachers of this age.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_07]: And go.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_07]: That was, that was, that was, that was a lot.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_07]: I just gave you a title, you have to just like, stand out, okay, cool.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_07]: No, but I just think about like, you know, do you get nervous every time you get up and preach to people?
- 44:27[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, and then that people are too busy agreeing with you.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_07]: This is in communication, it's called confirmation bias.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_07]: You can actually get people on your side when you resonate with their pain.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_07]: So instead of going, all right, waiting for people to hop on, you're going to say, have you been thinking about buying your first home?
- 44:48[SPEAKER_07]: But you're wondering if you have enough saved in the bank?
- 44:51[SPEAKER_07]: You don't know how much your down payment's going to be.
- 44:53[SPEAKER_07]: You don't even, everyone in your family has never owned a home.
- 44:58[SPEAKER_07]: You're the first one.
- 45:00[SPEAKER_07]: Like, my wife just went, you could feel it when you're enrolling people in and you're inviting them in.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_07]: So for livestream, prioritize the replay value more than the live delivery.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_07]: And then you know what you're going to do, get right into it.
- 45:16[SPEAKER_07]: Now I do love the fact that you can address people on the live.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_07]: So if somebody asks a question, answer it.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_07]: And you know what that does when you answer a question in the live delivery?
- 45:32[SPEAKER_07]: Is it bullet proofs the video?
- 45:34[SPEAKER_07]: Because you were going to deliver this video by yourself in a room, but now that somebody is listening to your delivery, they're actually advocating for the rest of the audience.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_07]: That's going to watch just later on.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_07]: This is crazy stuff.
- 45:48[SPEAKER_07]: Holy cow, Omar.
- 45:49[SPEAKER_07]: It's like you think about this day and night.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_07]: Day and night.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_07]: And that honestly, like when you create an isolation, it actually limits the reach of your video because there's so much missing information.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_07]: But if you can include a level of audience in some capacity, virtual, in person, or on the livestream, or maybe you're shooting a talking head and you have your livestream on Instagram, just have your phone going.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_07]: When a question comes up,
- 46:21[SPEAKER_07]: it actually bullet proofs the video.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_07]: That's really good.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_07]: And something I do, we do is when we have an expert, I will have my inner circle live on Zoom.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_07]: And I remember asking having a two-hour conversation with Erwin McMannis, who's a pastor, coach, phenomenal communicator, and I'm having this conversation
- 46:47[SPEAKER_07]: at the end of it.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_07]: She's like, I'm going to speak to teenagers tomorrow.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know what to say.
- 46:53[SPEAKER_07]: Dang, it's like, how many people are speaking to people that are outside of their age range?
- 46:57[SPEAKER_07]: I didn't think about it in two hours of a conversation and now that's included because we just had a virtual audience.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_07]: And so, you know, it's a strategy to be able to show up.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_07]: Consistently, with these one uploads, but do your best to allow it to be the best upload.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_07]: And the best upload is to pull it proof the content.
- 47:22[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_07]: This is why including a back to the team is very important.
- 47:27[SPEAKER_07]: The next, you see how you, I'm doing all these ours.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_07]: I've worked really hard to like make that.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_07]: So you guys remember, I just use Google and I say,
- 47:40[SPEAKER_07]: I just say team, yeah, our word for team.
- 47:43[SPEAKER_07]: Relationships, cool.
- 47:45[SPEAKER_07]: All right, two real.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_07]: Watch back and refine.
- 47:50[SPEAKER_07]: Watch back and refine.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_07]: Don't just blindly upload or post content.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_07]: Watch back and refine.
- 48:01[SPEAKER_07]: Why does professional athletes watch their performance?
- 48:12[SPEAKER_07]: I've just learned like whatever successful people are doing, just do it.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_07]: Just do it, they do it for a reason, and the first 13 uploads of this podcast in my books at the time, fell flat.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_07]: What does that mean?
- 48:31[SPEAKER_07]: A hundred views, and I'm ungrateful for a hundred views to a hundred views when there's probably like 80 people here and this is 80 people.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_07]: This feels really good, but we get discouraged at 80 views.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_07]: You guys are talking back is like it's messing with me because like when we shoot podcasts, it's just awkward silence.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, no.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_07]: It's terrible.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_10]: Wait, okay, how did you get over that, though?
- 48:58[SPEAKER_10]: Like you're ability to watch yourself back, because that is kind of the obstacle that people have.
- 49:04[SPEAKER_10]: Because it's cringe, it's, I mean, it's a, I didn't watch back, you told me.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_10]: I didn't watch back a solo pod with Omar, where I was on it for a while.
- 49:12[SPEAKER_07]: How many episodes do you think?
- 49:13[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, like a lot.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_07]: more than halfway, I would say.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_07]: Yes, so the 25, you never watched yourself.
- 49:24[SPEAKER_07]: You never watched it back to watch yourself so that you could show up better to better serve the audience.
- 49:29[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 49:31[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 49:32[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, what he did was he just revealed God bless you but he revealed an insecurity.
- 49:39[SPEAKER_10]: 100.
- 49:40[SPEAKER_07]: And the insecurity is simply an obsession of self.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_07]: And when you're too obsessed with yourself, you can't focus on them.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_07]: So why do I watch back my speaking, my teaching, the podcast is because if I don't get better, they don't get served at a higher level.
- 50:04[SPEAKER_07]: So I don't watch myself back, so I'm better.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_07]: For me, I watch back better, so I'm better for you.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_07]: And so it's just flipping it.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_07]: And I think that's what's happening.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_07]: What has happened is you're seeing people be like, oh, I'm grateful, I asked that question.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_07]: Or oh, they're commenting at like a little dialogue we had or something, something awkward or a funny thing.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_07]: But it's also like, the fastest way to improve in all honesty is to just grade yourself.
- 50:39[SPEAKER_07]: And I found in the journey of getting better as a communicator, you will find master communicators, the only thing that really mattered.
- 50:50[SPEAKER_07]: This is for communicators only, not for people who just are casual about this.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_07]: How they believe they did, matters more than how the room believed they did.
- 51:02[SPEAKER_07]: Like, that's just ain't that right, Michael?
- 51:04[SPEAKER_07]: Like, yeah, people will applaud because you're on a stage.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_07]: People will say, oh my god, that was so good.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_07]: Like, that moment where you talked about that, how do you think you did?
- 51:17[SPEAKER_07]: Because there's something,
- 51:20[SPEAKER_07]: Because this is a form of the sales process if you have a business, like this is the top of funnel to your business.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_07]: And sales is simply a transference of enthusiasm or a transference of your spirit.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_07]: It's like you're giving somebody your belief in something.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_07]: and charisma and conviction, and so if that and people who understand sales will know sales is an inner game.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_07]: And so we just want to make sure that our inner game is dialed.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_07]: And so yeah, watching back your content.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_07]: Don't mark.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_07]: Here's what's funny.
- 51:57[SPEAKER_07]: Hey Omar, can you look at our channel or look at my channel?
- 52:01[SPEAKER_07]: And then my thing is like, have you looked at your channel?
- 52:06[SPEAKER_07]: And by all means, I'll look at your channel.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_07]: I could see in a snapshot, things you could fix.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_07]: That's for sure.
- 52:13[SPEAKER_07]: But don't ask me to look back at your channel if you're not willing to look back at your channel.
- 52:18[SPEAKER_07]: Because here's what will happen.
- 52:19[SPEAKER_07]: I will see a trend from your consistency or lack thereof.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_07]: And I'll say what happened here.
- 52:27[SPEAKER_07]: Look at this, this performed really well.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_07]: Why did you change everything after this?
- 52:35[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, I didn't see that.
- 52:38[SPEAKER_07]: And so this is only for people who want to be great.
- 52:45[SPEAKER_07]: Jesus says, if you want to be great, be the greatest servant.
- 52:53[SPEAKER_07]: How do you serve if you're not the best at what you do?
- 52:57[SPEAKER_07]: Like, how do you serve at the highest level if you don't even consider yourself at the highest level?
- 53:02[SPEAKER_07]: And so, watch back your stuff.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_07]: Mr.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_07]: Bees would say, Jimmy would say, with every upload pick one thing.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_09]: So good.
- 53:13[SPEAKER_07]: To do differently.
- 53:14[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 53:15[SPEAKER_07]: And so, I think I was saying all this, and I'm so glad that my yapping has brought me back to what I was trying to say, to originally.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_07]: Was it took 13 episodes to really see a video catch the algorithm?
- 53:27[SPEAKER_07]: And when I say that, I mean, YouTube started pushing out the conversation I had with Shaleen Johnson, and we were in Cabo.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_07]: And I would refresh the YouTube video every 15 minutes, and it would be like 3,000, 10,000 more, 20,000.
- 53:45[SPEAKER_07]: I'm like, what is happening right now?
- 53:47[SPEAKER_07]: So what I did, I said, babe, you guys go to the pool, I'm gonna study this.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_07]: And I came up with every framework that I teach right now when it comes to YouTube success.
- 54:00[SPEAKER_07]: The first framework was my introduction framework.
- 54:05[SPEAKER_07]: Your YouTube videos should have all three of these elements in your intro.
- 54:11[SPEAKER_07]: It should have clarity, credibility, and comprehension.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_07]: Credibility, I've been in the mortgage space for over 12 years, for over 15 years, and I've never seen anything like this.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_07]: You can buy a house with no money down, no matter who you are.
- 54:31[SPEAKER_07]: So just that sentence is credibility and comprehension.
- 54:36[SPEAKER_07]: Here's what's crazy, when you give something right away, two people, dopamine kicks in,
- 54:49[SPEAKER_07]: And then we have clarity.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_07]: You want to make sure that you are reinforcing what they clicked for.
- 54:57[SPEAKER_07]: And so this podcast with Shaleen had these three elements.
- 55:02[SPEAKER_07]: I recorded a training and I sent it to the inner circle.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_07]: I'm like, guys, this is what your intros need.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_07]: Now here's what's crazy.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_07]: Because I found this framework, we didn't edit intros anymore as much.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_07]: with over, I think over 600,000 views now was not edited.
- 55:25[SPEAKER_07]: It was, it just started.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_07]: But it's because when we watched it back, I was like, we did it.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_07]: Clarity, comprehension, credibility.
- 55:38[SPEAKER_07]: And then yeah, watch back your stuff, refine, request.
- 55:44[SPEAKER_07]: Request.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_07]: you can sponsor your own videos with what you have going on.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_07]: Now, I wouldn't necessarily tell people to jump to the main thing you sell, but sponsor your podcast, sponsor your talking video.
- 56:06[SPEAKER_07]: By the way, this podcast is brought to you by the content to cast challenge.
- 56:13[SPEAKER_07]: A five day live coaching experience that will change your life, business, and money forever.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_07]: You can buy a ticket to the next content to cast challenge by scanning the QR code or checking out the description below.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_07]: If you're somebody who's looking to build your personal brand, start making money online.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_07]: Tap in.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_07]: By the way, everyone here, I am selling tickets to the next one in December.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_07]: You guys get a VIP ticket for the price of general admission, which VIP has five hours of Q&A with me.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_07]: So we'll have a QR code.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_10]: Yes, we'll throw it up.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, and on the screen while you're watching this.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_07]: But me sponsoring my podcast is the single thing that has really grown the business.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_07]: Now,
- 57:04[SPEAKER_07]: You can also give away something in your video.
- 57:09[SPEAKER_07]: So if you have a resource that will help somebody, one resource we gave away that grew the email list by over 20,000 emails was my gear list.
- 57:21[SPEAKER_07]: So we put the gear list in the description, people grab the gear list, and now we're in relationship on email, and then at some point when you see, we invite you into something we're doing, or maybe we're doing a live event, you know, and then you get to be a part of it.
- 57:38[SPEAKER_07]: Is that too simple?
- 57:40[SPEAKER_07]: Now here's the thing.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_07]: I've learned this, that we do a really bad job at asking for things.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_07]: Like, we're just afraid to ask.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_07]: And it's probably because when we grew up, our parents told us to not talk to strangers.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_07]: Our parents told us to stay close.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_07]: Our parents, but then you, you find out.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_07]: Really, we have not, because we ask not, Jesus said, ask,
- 58:15[SPEAKER_07]: then you shall receive.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_07]: So you can't receive without asking.
- 58:21[SPEAKER_07]: So if you want to receive more, maybe we should just start asking more.
- 58:29[SPEAKER_07]: It's actually, it is the framework to receiving from God.
- 58:35[SPEAKER_07]: You haven't asked.
- 58:37[SPEAKER_07]: You haven't asked the people.
- 58:39[SPEAKER_07]: Not to put my wife on blast, but here it goes.
- 58:43[SPEAKER_07]: That's how I like minimize the backhanded story.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_07]: No, we went to New York this weekend, this last weekend, such a fun time.
- 58:52[SPEAKER_07]: Love creating core memories with you, babe.
- 58:55[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, leave the kids, let's go, what a dream.
- 58:58[SPEAKER_07]: It was dreams, it was a dream to have kids and that was a dream to have a trip without kids.
- 59:03[SPEAKER_07]: Everything, life is so funny.
- 59:05[SPEAKER_07]: I had like, move, we just want our kids to talk and then they start talking, we're like, shut up.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_07]: Oh.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, oh my gosh, they're starting to walk.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, oh my gosh, come on, start walking.
- 59:13[SPEAKER_07]: We're like, sit.
- 59:15[SPEAKER_07]: Don't move.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_07]: Aren't we funny?
- 59:19[SPEAKER_07]: But we get to New York, and I, on the way to New York, I listen to this four-minute YouTube video by a guy named Jim Rown, who's a legendary personal development.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_07]: Before there was Tony Robbins, before there was Myron Golden, before there was John Maxwell, there was his guy named Jim Rown.
- 59:38[SPEAKER_07]: And he used biblical principles to develop human beings.
- 59:44[SPEAKER_07]: And he's breaking this down.
- 59:45[SPEAKER_07]: And he's like,
- 59:47[SPEAKER_07]: Ask and you shall receive.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_07]: Maybe we should just be asking more often.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_07]: It's as if we're bringing a spoon to the ocean.
- 1:00:03[SPEAKER_07]: Might as well bring a bucket.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_07]: There's enough.
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_07]: So we're in New York and we look, I mean, we landed early, so it's like let's get coffee and they have Ralph's coffee, which is like a famous place to get coffee.
- 1:00:23[SPEAKER_07]: Realize we're far away from the like real one, so it's like there's a cart.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_07]: So we go to Ralph's coffee and we stand in line.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_07]: Amanda stands in line.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_07]: I go into banana republic.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_07]: And then I don't 20 minutes go by, and then she's like, where are you?
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_07]: I'm like, I'm, you know, banana, so she comes in, no coffee.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, babe, what happened?
- 1:00:47[SPEAKER_07]: She said, they're not, they only take cash.
- 1:00:51[SPEAKER_07]: I said, what in the heck?
- 1:00:56[SPEAKER_07]: And I was like, that's it, and just story.
- 1:00:59[SPEAKER_07]: No, so I said, babe, come here.
- 1:01:02[SPEAKER_07]: Let's go.
- 1:01:04[SPEAKER_07]: And so I go to the register, skip, just go in front of the, this whole line wrapped around a building, too.
- 1:01:09[SPEAKER_07]: Just went to the front.
- 1:01:11[SPEAKER_07]: I shoulder-taped the lady that was paying.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_07]: I said, man, do you happen to have an apple iPhone?
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_07]: Ask.
- 1:01:20[SPEAKER_07]: She said, I do.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_07]: Would you allow us to apple pay you and you just pay for our coffee?
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_07]: sure and i was like what's your number and she she was like you know what don't worry about it i was like no no no no no no no what's your number we like we'll pay you don't worry about it she paid for our coffee we got free coffee because i now if it wasn't no move on to the next ask
- 1:02:02[SPEAKER_07]: I'm telling you like sales is a series of requests.
- 1:02:11[SPEAKER_07]: The more knows you get, the richer you will become.
- 1:02:16[SPEAKER_07]: So the goal is to get as many knows as you possibly can to get the crumb
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_07]: at the video department, close to $3 million this year.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_07]: And if you look at it, it's millions of views, a hundred customers, it's just
- 1:02:56[SPEAKER_07]: you don't, you don't need the world to say yes.
- 1:03:00[SPEAKER_07]: But what you do need is you just need to ask.
- 1:03:03[SPEAKER_07]: And so in your videos, just ask.
- 1:03:10[SPEAKER_07]: And by the way, if you're giving something away in your ask that feels like you can't believe you're giving it away, you will talk about it differently.
- 1:03:24[SPEAKER_07]: My friend Richmond did and says, don't charge what you're worth.
- 1:03:28[SPEAKER_07]: Charge way less than what you're worth.
- 1:03:31[SPEAKER_07]: So that when you say your price, you're like, I can't believe, I'm selling it for this much.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:03:39[SPEAKER_07]: The content to cash challenge is the dumbest offer in human history.
- 1:03:47[SPEAKER_07]: Omar, do you do one on one?
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_07]: It's just, it's way less than about you.
- 1:04:01[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, sometimes I think you should have a little QR code.
- 1:04:04[SPEAKER_07]: This, this is the only place you can get a $100 ticket and get VIP.
- 1:04:08[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 1:04:09[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah.
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_10]: What VIP is typically $197, so they're getting a price.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_10]: I remember.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_10]: But typically, like, ask when you tell people to ask in their videos or in their content, it feels like kind of scary, you know, because sometimes asking can be scary.
- 1:04:28[SPEAKER_10]: in some other podcast, but he says it's just an invitation.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_10]: It's just a simple invite.
- 1:04:33[SPEAKER_10]: So like instead of saying like, or feeling like you need to ask somebody for something, it's just include them, just throw an invitation.
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, so we mentioned this yesterday.
- 1:04:44[SPEAKER_07]: We did a workshop for a mastermind.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_07]: We did last couple of days.
- 1:04:49[SPEAKER_07]: And this really cool thought came to mind.
- 1:04:54[SPEAKER_07]: And it was, if you wanna make dollars, make it through discipleship, this sounds weird, cause what, it's called discipleship dollars.
- 1:05:06[SPEAKER_07]: It's essentially, hey, I'm doing this.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_07]: We're doing this.
- 1:05:10[SPEAKER_07]: This is happening, and you're more than welcome to come.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_09]: So good.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_07]: Like, my world doesn't stop for your know.
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_07]: I'm going here.
- 1:05:21[SPEAKER_07]: We're doing this.
- 1:05:23[SPEAKER_07]: It's on the calendar.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_07]: You're more than welcome to join.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_07]: And by the way, selling is scary when you don't have those belief and conviction that it's serving.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_07]: Proverbs says, Blessed is the man who sells grain, but cursed on the head
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_07]: Is there any other way to grow a business without selling?
- 1:06:00[SPEAKER_11]: No.
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_07]: So selling is the very thing that makes a business a business.
- 1:06:04[SPEAKER_07]: If you're not selling something, which I would argue the ability to sell and persuasion and all these things, if you're not doing it, it's still required for nonprofits.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_07]: You got to be good at unpacking pain, showing the stories, and then letting people know how they can go to the next step, the invitation.
- 1:06:25[SPEAKER_07]: It's still, but the thing is this is how I know most of the time churches are pretty bad at marketing.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_07]: Non-profits are pretty bad at marketing, because they make it about them.
- 1:06:37[SPEAKER_07]: Which, which like what they do is great, but like if you watch a church ad, it's very come check us out like me, like us, we, we, but like just enroll.
- 1:06:50[SPEAKER_07]: Are you a young adult in the Las Vegas Valley looking for community going through life?
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_07]: It could be pretty lonely.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_07]: Then it's like, that's a really cool, like boom, like what's the, what's the thing?
- 1:07:03[SPEAKER_07]: And so it's, it's really just that I think the number one step for sales is understanding.
- 1:07:10[SPEAKER_07]: So when people talk, shut up, and you listen to how they express the pain, you listen to how they communicate the obstacle.
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_07]: It's like interesting.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_07]: What's keeping you from knowing more, I just don't know where to start.
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_07]: It's like so intimidating.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_07]: Like when's the last time you use the word intimidating in a video when it comes to something like that?
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_07]: Like, you know you're supposed to do something, but it's just intimidating.
- 1:07:47[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, I'm just giving you guys what I do.
- 1:07:51[SPEAKER_07]: I remember Elena, you came up to me a year ago, little over a year ago, and you said, I'm just not a social media person.
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_07]: Like, I would never make content and say, are you, do you see yourself as someone who can show up on social media, but you just call yourself, I'm just not a social media person, or when it comes to the gear, I just, I got frees, or when the red light of doom, like I've heard that from multiple people, the red light of doom.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_07]: I've never used that as a video educator.
- 1:08:24[SPEAKER_07]: I have never said the red light of doom.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_07]: But you guys tell me that when you see the red light, it's the red light of doom.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_07]: I should probably use that language in my emails in my YouTube videos.
- 1:08:35[SPEAKER_07]: And my, the language is out there.
- 1:08:37[SPEAKER_07]: This is crazy.
- 1:08:38[SPEAKER_07]: None of us are creating anything new.
- 1:08:41[SPEAKER_07]: We're just creating new ways and angles to reveal it.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_07]: The Bible says there is nothing new under the sun.
- 1:08:49[SPEAKER_07]: So then how are people thriving?
- 1:08:50[SPEAKER_07]: I saw a CNBC video on YouTube.
- 1:08:54[SPEAKER_07]: of a girl who built a $4 million business in like three years just doing custom embroidery.
- 1:09:03[SPEAKER_07]: It's called, you guys know what it's called?
- 1:09:09[SPEAKER_07]: Because they've done, she's done like Colab's with like the Ritz Carlton now and L. L. being and like it's just an embroidery machine I'm like what in the world and she's built a brand and he one could buy an embroidery machine and make four million dollars and she doesn't even need to show up on Google and she's a multi millionaire, but I just thought that was so fascinating, but she just found a new angle.
- 1:09:40[SPEAKER_07]: to show people this is cool, and so those are the five things that you can do to change your life literally a year from today.
- 1:09:52[SPEAKER_07]: I'm telling you, this thing will change your life and you don't need all the answers.
- 1:09:58[SPEAKER_07]: You don't need the business, you don't need the website, you don't need, by the way, that lead magnet that I gave away, my gear list.
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_07]: It's a Google Sheet Slink.
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_07]: I just put an email opt-in in front of it.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_07]: 20,000 emails for a Google sheet link.
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_07]: One of the guys in the program, Guillermo, he was like, hey, look at my ebook.
- 1:10:21[SPEAKER_07]: And it was just so busy and pretty.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_07]: And just a lot of words.
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_07]: And he's like, man, it took a long time for me to make.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, cold world.
- 1:10:34[SPEAKER_07]: No, nobody was like, I just said, or I just put in a Google Doc.
- 1:10:40[SPEAKER_07]: My friend, Abigail Norman, she will give you a resource, and it will be a Google Doc.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_07]: And she's built her email list of thousands over the last year.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_07]: Just really cool.
- 1:10:56[SPEAKER_07]: So I'd love to get in some Q&A, and then we'll get some barbecue, shout out to Kendrid Barbecue for coming all the way.
- 1:11:08[SPEAKER_07]: Literally, don't be shy.
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, you have not, because you asked not.
- 1:11:15[SPEAKER_07]: All right, let's go.
- 1:11:16[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, here, let's, bro, where did he come from?
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_01]: I told you I was going, I, I, I, I message you to all.
- 1:11:21[SPEAKER_07]: I said, I, no, tell people where you're from.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm from London.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_07]: Bro.
- 1:11:24[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, go ahead, squeeze the handle and it, yeah, yeah, there.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_10]: I am.
- 1:11:30[SPEAKER_01]: All right, oh my gosh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 1:11:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't even know how to start.
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_01]: I've got a question, but I've done the content to catch challenge two years ago and that had a little one and I used to ask what's the next step, what one needs to do and I saw the video of all my pop-up on Instagram and he said to me in order to help you, I'm not going to give you money, I'm going to show you
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_01]: I want to go, we hit a million dollars in revenue, as a business, I say 100, let me be conservative, 99% of everything that I've learned all we've done.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_01]: on my agency from Omaha, 99%.
- 1:12:25[SPEAKER_01]: And I joined the 250, no, it was, it was, yeah, it was, yeah, it was, yeah, it was.
- 1:12:31[SPEAKER_07]: You okay, wait, wait, you, you paid me $107, $197, and you've made a million.
- 1:12:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, yes, and, and it literally, few things, but just the practical application of the things.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_01]: that I've been to actually borrowed that money at the time to do the course.
- 1:12:46[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I'll pay the person back in Sanford.
- 1:12:50[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, the question I was going to ask, just to cut to the chase is, oh, Mar, you've mentioned five things, right?
- 1:12:56[SPEAKER_01]: If you had to strip away before them, and you were starting again.
- 1:13:01[SPEAKER_01]: What is the one that you'd prioritize now?
- 1:13:04[SPEAKER_01]: That's so good.
- 1:13:06[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know.
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_07]: That's a crazy question.
- 1:13:08[SPEAKER_07]: No, take away four and pick the most important one.
- 1:13:12[SPEAKER_07]: For me, it's relationships.
- 1:13:16[SPEAKER_07]: It, like, I'd rather be failing with a team, or I'd rather have people around me when it's not working than be alone while I'm trying this thing.
- 1:13:27[SPEAKER_07]: It's just, I'm a big community guy.
- 1:13:30[SPEAKER_07]: I think that's why a lot of people sense that I'm pretty grounded compared to other people online.
- 1:13:38[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, I mean, for whatever it's worth, I'm cool compliment, but it really is because my friends have been friends for over a decade and I keep my circle tight and in all honesty, I know I can hire even people from all over.
- 1:13:54[SPEAKER_07]: I know that I can do that, but there's just something in me that it's so much more than what someone could help me with.
- 1:14:04[SPEAKER_07]: It's really just how long are we going to do life together?
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_07]: You know, and I'm just, I just, I think if there's anything we can do and make it about the people we do it with and the people we do it for, that's personally for me, that's what matters most.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_07]: Appreciate you, bro.
- 1:14:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm waiting to join the NSF.
- 1:14:22[SPEAKER_01]: I'm waiting for that cool.
- 1:14:22[SPEAKER_01]: I've been trying to apply so fee.
- 1:14:24[SPEAKER_01]: Oh my god.
- 1:14:25[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 1:14:26[SPEAKER_07]: Here we go four nine nine seven seven seven seven eight 702 four nine nine seven seven seven seven eight the number to cool you say you can text that number and then we we will hit you Are you for real down?
- 1:14:40[SPEAKER_07]: Sorry you for real down.
- 1:14:41[SPEAKER_01]: Well the end circle.
- 1:14:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I've been down when we play golf.
- 1:14:44[SPEAKER_01]: I told you I was done
- 1:14:45[SPEAKER_07]: What are we playing?
- 1:14:46[SPEAKER_07]: My closing skill sucks.
- 1:14:49[SPEAKER_10]: It's too busy too.
- 1:14:50[SPEAKER_10]: It's broad, it's crazy dude.
- 1:14:51[SPEAKER_10]: Shout out to O'Harr, oh my gosh.
- 1:14:53[SPEAKER_10]: Love it.
- 1:14:54[SPEAKER_10]: Took two challenges, ran it up.
- 1:14:59[SPEAKER_03]: you sent.
- 1:15:00[SPEAKER_03]: Hi.
- 1:15:01[SPEAKER_03]: Thanks for everything y'all.
- 1:15:03[SPEAKER_03]: You personally also have worked with you in your coaching program for ever grateful because it really is life changing.
- 1:15:10[SPEAKER_03]: The money stuff is cool but the things that we're going through in our personal lives and how our business aligning with our personal lives makes even more of a difference.
- 1:15:17[SPEAKER_03]: So I want to say thanks to both of you.
- 1:15:20[SPEAKER_03]: My question is, I have had a podcast in 2019.
- 1:15:24[SPEAKER_03]: I did interview style, but then I tried to switch to talking head, and I feel like that there was friction with the consistency.
- 1:15:30[SPEAKER_03]: So, I'm thinking about going back to interview style, because of accountability, if I have an appointment, I need to be there.
- 1:15:36[SPEAKER_03]: So,
- 1:15:37[SPEAKER_03]: That being said, sourcing interviews, how is it that it had, what process do you have for booking people out as I have my own process, but I would love to know anything that I may be missing.
- 1:15:50[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, well, first I want to give you the permission to do both.
- 1:15:55[SPEAKER_07]: Now, what's cool about doing,
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_07]: a podcast by yourself is you actually can include experts without asking them by reacting to things they said on other videos.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_10]: Oh my gosh, so good.
- 1:16:08[SPEAKER_07]: So this is Shalene Johnson's approach.
- 1:16:11[SPEAKER_07]: She'll do commentary on a doctor expert, on a two-hour podcast and just bring her observation about what they said.
- 1:16:20[SPEAKER_07]: So it's actually a way you can get a best-selling author on a podcast.
- 1:16:23[SPEAKER_07]: If you want to get an expert or somebody you admire, you can have them on your podcast or your videos by simply reacting to things they've said.
- 1:16:32[SPEAKER_07]: Now, for the actual reach out and things like that,
- 1:16:37[SPEAKER_07]: I'm back.
- 1:16:37[SPEAKER_07]: I'm just a relationship guy and number one, I ask to plan a seed.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_07]: So when I ask somebody to be on my podcast, I'm not asking for them to be on it now.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_07]: I'm just asking.
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_07]: So the first, so let's just call it Instagram DMs.
- 1:16:56[SPEAKER_07]: I DMed Sharan Shavarista, Shavarista, he's the president of acquisition.com.
- 1:17:05[SPEAKER_07]: I reach out.
- 1:17:06[SPEAKER_07]: Number one, when you ask somebody anything, give them a compliment first.
- 1:17:11[SPEAKER_07]: Like, make it about them first and then give the ask.
- 1:17:16[SPEAKER_07]: And so I just DMed him and just said, hey, would love to have you on the podcast whenever you're in Vegas and it makes sense for your schedule.
- 1:17:25[SPEAKER_07]: It's been it's been growing pretty well and I love your your heart for family and business and things like that and he's like, would love to.
- 1:17:32[SPEAKER_07]: now I don't know when it's going to happen, but the seed was planted.
- 1:17:36[SPEAKER_07]: So I think that's the first thing is the more seeds that are planted, you'd be surprised that when it comes to past like hey I'm in Vegas for F1, I remember you asked me last year to be on the podcast, let's are you down to do it.
- 1:17:49[SPEAKER_07]: So I think that's the first step is just start asking those people and then you know
- 1:17:57[SPEAKER_07]: your videos won't do well because you have well-known people on them.
- 1:18:05[SPEAKER_07]: Our videos do well because the idea we're talking about is an idea that applies to a lot of people.
- 1:18:12[SPEAKER_07]: So I'll say like this, the idea of a thing is always bigger than the person.
- 1:18:17[SPEAKER_07]: So even with Sharon, and I guess now he technically has some sort of a following, but his ability to speak on email marketing and making money through emails would apply to 100% of this room as opposed to him talking about culture and leadership, or like, oh, I would have real estate, which is like his lane.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_07]: So just know that if the person could add to the idea you wanna add to, I'll tell you an honest thing that's happening even now is I want less guests
- 1:18:48[SPEAKER_07]: because if I could talk on the idea better than someone else can, then sometimes I don't want to give that slot away.
- 1:18:56[SPEAKER_07]: So I think about 50 uploads a year, and how many of those are we going to do?
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_07]: And so there's a lot of personal brand experts, and they've been on the podcast, and I want them on the podcast too, I mean, the world's abundant, but sometimes when I ask when I have someone on the podcast, it's like,
- 1:19:12[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, it's like, dang it, they just like at talking.
- 1:19:16[SPEAKER_07]: You know, it's like, I could have put that, you know, better.
- 1:19:20[SPEAKER_07]: But it is good to have different voices, even if they say the same thing.
- 1:19:23[SPEAKER_07]: Guys, they plant seeds.
- 1:19:24[SPEAKER_07]: And then coordinate, you can have a VA that is legitimizing that process.
- 1:19:31[SPEAKER_07]: I will be the first person to say is I don't have a contract.
- 1:19:35[SPEAKER_07]: I don't have a release form if I were to do virtual interviews, which are way more easier to show up.
- 1:19:44[SPEAKER_07]: I would ensure that they have everything they need to be successful.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_07]: What I mean by that is like if they don't have a light or if they don't have like a good mic that sounds good, it's like things like that they'll make you stand out and people be like, well this is different.
- 1:20:02[SPEAKER_07]: catch people when they're in a promo state or a promo season when somebody drops a book they are more likely to say yes to these opportunities.
- 1:20:13[SPEAKER_07]: So I've been watching a a preacher that I've been watching for years.
- 1:20:18[SPEAKER_07]: It's funny seeing him on podcast Judas Smith.
- 1:20:21[SPEAKER_07]: Like he's like on the George Janko show.
- 1:20:25[SPEAKER_07]: Why would why would he do that?
- 1:20:27[SPEAKER_07]: Well, because he just released a book.
- 1:20:30[SPEAKER_07]: And so it's it's just watching those people's life and and just also know this.
- 1:20:35[SPEAKER_07]: They're big to you.
- 1:20:36[SPEAKER_07]: These guests, they're big to you.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_07]: But you got to know that you're doing them a service by showing them to people that that people found Myron from my podcast.
- 1:20:50[SPEAKER_07]: Like, which I think is weird, because Myron's like amazing, and he, to me, he's like here, right?
- 1:20:55[SPEAKER_07]: But the reality is is the world is big.
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_07]: And these people are big to us.
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_07]: And I think you're draw to the people you want on your podcast.
- 1:21:04[SPEAKER_07]: I think there's something natural there.
- 1:21:05[SPEAKER_07]: Like, there's people I want on my podcast because I've been following them a long time.
- 1:21:09[SPEAKER_07]: And that's why my interviewers are so good is because I've been thinking about asking in these questions for years.
- 1:21:14[SPEAKER_07]: But the formal thing is just DM, get to the assistant, and then just put it on that calendar.
- 1:21:21[SPEAKER_03]: I'm sorry.
- 1:21:22[SPEAKER_07]: It's that too simple.
- 1:21:24[SPEAKER_03]: Simple as good.
- 1:21:25[SPEAKER_03]: Thank you.
- 1:21:25[SPEAKER_07]: There you go.
- 1:21:25[SPEAKER_07]: Let's go.
- 1:21:28[SPEAKER_07]: Clap it up for descent.
- 1:21:29[SPEAKER_07]: Y'all, there we go.
- 1:21:33[SPEAKER_04]: Hi, hello.
- 1:21:34[SPEAKER_07]: Hello.
- 1:21:35[SPEAKER_04]: Hello me question for you is I really am wanting to do the podcast and stuff more.
- 1:21:43[SPEAKER_04]: Is there something when you have guests on friends on anybody on that you can?
- 1:21:50[SPEAKER_04]: Is there something that we could do for five, 10 minutes before starting that helps them get over like the jitters and you know, because once that camera turns on everybody is kind of, yeah.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_04]: Even right now I'm like shaking and all I'm doing is coming up to a freaking microphone.
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, sure.
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_04]: And so something we can do like some sort of exercise to help them.
- 1:22:07[SPEAKER_07]: Go into being more comfortable to get over that that first 10 minutes of 100 the exercise Do we we do a 30 burpees before we guys No, literally start recording Before you start So Don't don't make hitting record a big deal
- 1:22:30[SPEAKER_07]: Let the cameras roll, have a seat, do you need anything, water, cool, like, and then you just roll into it?
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_04]: Is there some questions that you can maybe ask?
- 1:22:43[SPEAKER_07]: Well, I mean, if you come prepared, with a question, but I would imagine, with that band, I'm saying, go, yeah, I'm not sure.
- 1:22:54[SPEAKER_10]: Yeah, natural conversation, like most of the time when Omar has a guest that's flown in or they're in town,
- 1:23:01[SPEAKER_10]: you know, just normal conversation that happens, like when Irwin came, it's just like how was your flight, like you're here for an event, you're speaking tomorrow, like, what are you going to talk about?
- 1:23:10[SPEAKER_07]: Like there's normal things that, yeah, I mean, and even like the the small talk in the lobby or meeting them in the parking lot is part of the, what I'm saying is have the cameras and the mics rolling by the time you sit down.
- 1:23:25[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 1:23:26[SPEAKER_07]: I'm technically saying no one should see you press record.
- 1:23:30[SPEAKER_07]: And they should be like, oh, we're rolling.
- 1:23:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:23:34[SPEAKER_07]: like those those those are great moments to catch even.
- 1:23:39[SPEAKER_07]: And yeah, and that's it.
- 1:23:42[SPEAKER_07]: Just don't don't don't overthink that part.
- 1:23:44[SPEAKER_07]: But just I would say don't make starting a big deal.
- 1:23:48[SPEAKER_07]: Just start.
- 1:23:49[SPEAKER_07]: And I know you don't like the word just in front of a word.
- 1:23:51[SPEAKER_07]: No, but like when I mean just start, I mean like roll into it.
- 1:23:55[SPEAKER_07]: So you release this new book.
- 1:23:58[SPEAKER_07]: So you're when it comes to email marketing, you know, you've spoken a hundred times this year at different conferences, like just they're there for a reason.
- 1:24:09[SPEAKER_07]: I even have a friend Jay and Chris and his cousins, they had a podcast and they were just all cousins.
- 1:24:17[SPEAKER_07]: Their approach with the family
- 1:24:23[SPEAKER_07]: We like, we, and like now having this gives us a reason to actually hang out.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_07]: And if there, maybe you've been sitting this last hour and a half and you're like, dude, this is not applying to me, let it apply to your family.
- 1:24:37[SPEAKER_07]: I love that Ruby has something to watch once I pass.
- 1:24:42[SPEAKER_07]: And so they just turn on, it's as if there is no camera.
- 1:24:47[SPEAKER_07]: We're just, we're just, we're just talking.
- 1:24:49[SPEAKER_07]: So I don't, that's all.
- 1:24:51[SPEAKER_07]: I like, I like when anything is big in my mind, you have to know that it's, that's where it's only, that's the only place it's big.
- 1:24:59[SPEAKER_07]: So this event was big in my mind.
- 1:25:04[SPEAKER_07]: But all I had to tell, I just told myself,
- 1:25:07[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, we're just having a conversation.
- 1:25:10[SPEAKER_07]: I maybe you can call it trick yourself.
- 1:25:12[SPEAKER_07]: Maybe I brainwash myself to believe something different, but you get what you believe.
- 1:25:18[SPEAKER_07]: And so by me just minimizing whatever this thing is, it allows me to be more casual in my approach.
- 1:25:25[SPEAKER_07]: So it's not that big of a deal.
- 1:25:27[SPEAKER_07]: I'm actually more surprised that somebody's been watching for 95 episodes.
- 1:25:32[SPEAKER_07]: Like, you too, also, you probably won't be watching it.
- 1:25:35[SPEAKER_04]: You're much at least 50, so I'm trying to get to that.
- 1:25:37[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, you got to do the back line.
- 1:25:38[SPEAKER_07]: You got along right now.
- 1:25:40[SPEAKER_07]: No, yeah.
- 1:25:41[SPEAKER_07]: Just start recording before you start recording.
- 1:25:43[SPEAKER_04]: OK. And just another quick question.
- 1:25:45[SPEAKER_04]: How many people have won the Freedom Award and for people who don't know what it is?
- 1:25:48[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, right there is the Freedom Award and I started this award for people who join my coaching program that make the money that they invested back because here's my belief is that investing in yourself has no real cost.
- 1:26:11[SPEAKER_07]: But if you feel like it costs you something, it means there's something in your mind that's messing with your ability to go to the next level.
- 1:26:20[SPEAKER_07]: I've invested over $300,000 in the last three years in my own personal development.
- 1:26:26[SPEAKER_07]: But the information I have will serve me for the rest of my life.
- 1:26:33[SPEAKER_07]: And so I called it the Freedom Award because it's that moment when you realize
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_07]: you're actually free to get to the next level.
- 1:26:44[SPEAKER_07]: You're free to experience light, like life doesn't cost your ability to get better.
- 1:26:49[SPEAKER_07]: It's just knowing that it all it takes as money.
- 1:26:56[SPEAKER_07]: Like all it takes as money.
- 1:26:57[SPEAKER_07]: Like when I think about it, and there's a lot of inner circle people here, like freedom of world winners too.
- 1:27:07[SPEAKER_07]: It always is the revelation after the fact that it's, now you're thinking to yourself, I could have not afforded to do this thing because you would have been in this, then you'll just be in the same place.
- 1:27:23[SPEAKER_07]: And so thank you, but that's what the freedom of word is.
- 1:27:25[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, I wanted to know how many people have wanted to say.
- 1:27:27[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, how many people have won?
- 1:27:28[SPEAKER_07]: I don't know, 25, 30.
- 1:27:29[SPEAKER_04]: And what's the quickest somebody after an bowling with you?
- 1:27:33[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, Brent, Brent would be it.
- 1:27:39[SPEAKER_07]: a couple weeks, boom, come on, climb it up for that one, okay, I got another one.
- 1:27:46[SPEAKER_07]: A guy named Will Draper in three weeks, made the investment back atty from the UK, just joined in September, she made it back in three weeks.
- 1:27:58[SPEAKER_07]: She had a $30,000 day, and it was so cool, her comment was, that was the easiest $30,000 I've ever made in my life.
- 1:28:09[SPEAKER_07]: And if money feels hard to be made, there's something off.
- 1:28:14[SPEAKER_07]: because there's an abundance of it.
- 1:28:16[SPEAKER_07]: It's an ocean.
- 1:28:18[SPEAKER_07]: And my, as well, go with the bucket.
- 1:28:21[SPEAKER_07]: My, minus, we'll take a bucket.
- 1:28:26[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you.
- 1:28:26[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you.
- 1:28:27[SPEAKER_04]: Thank you for being my answer for prayers.
- 1:28:28[SPEAKER_04]: I love you.
- 1:28:29[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:28:31[SPEAKER_07]: Great for for you.
- 1:28:34[SPEAKER_05]: I don't know.
- 1:28:35[SPEAKER_07]: Johnny Loans.
- 1:28:36[SPEAKER_05]: Johnny Loans, yeah.
- 1:28:38[SPEAKER_05]: Question for you.
- 1:28:38[SPEAKER_05]: You talked about one of the things with your intro,
- 1:28:42[SPEAKER_05]: talking about your credibility for someone who has may have retired and now you're flipping something else different in life.
- 1:28:50[SPEAKER_05]: You don't have that credibility.
- 1:28:51[SPEAKER_05]: You want to start kind of from scratch.
- 1:28:54[SPEAKER_09]: Hmm.
- 1:28:56[SPEAKER_05]: Great.
- 1:28:56[SPEAKER_05]: What is your advice for doing something brand new without that credibility?
- 1:29:00[SPEAKER_05]: Is it just to tell your story?
- 1:29:02[SPEAKER_05]: Hey, I'm starting brand new and just be true.
- 1:29:04[SPEAKER_05]: Here's my journey.
- 1:29:05[SPEAKER_05]: Kind of go forward.
- 1:29:06[SPEAKER_07]: What's your, yeah.
- 1:29:07[SPEAKER_07]: Authenticity is a form of credibility.
- 1:29:10[SPEAKER_07]: but honesty is credibility, but the borrowing is credibility, so bring external resources to the content.
- 1:29:24[SPEAKER_07]: The news article, they already have credibility, Wall Street.
- 1:29:29[SPEAKER_07]: You know, New York Times, the lost Vegas housing market, the banks, there is information out there and you could just be the facilitator of that information, which adds credibility to you.
- 1:29:45[SPEAKER_07]: So just steal it from things and brands that already are credible.
- 1:29:51[SPEAKER_05]: Got it.
- 1:29:51[SPEAKER_07]: That makes sense?
- 1:29:52[SPEAKER_05]: Yeah, man.
- 1:29:52[SPEAKER_05]: Gang.
- 1:29:53[SPEAKER_07]: Gang.
- 1:29:58[SPEAKER_06]: Um, so I quit my job a little bit over a year and a hat a little over a year ago actually and so being here is just so interesting.
- 1:30:06[SPEAKER_06]: I think I'd find myself here, but I'm really excited.
- 1:30:09[SPEAKER_06]: You know now being a business owner and you know really diving deep into this.
- 1:30:14[SPEAKER_06]: There has just been so much to learn and to grow from, right?
- 1:30:17[SPEAKER_06]: I feel like I'm walking in or running an uphill battle.
- 1:30:21[SPEAKER_06]: And my question, well, I found your stuff online, and I think I resonated with you because you're married.
- 1:30:29[SPEAKER_06]: You have kids, you're believe you're all these things.
- 1:30:31[SPEAKER_06]: And my question to you really is,
- 1:30:35[SPEAKER_06]: How do you find the work life balance in your life?
- 1:30:37[SPEAKER_06]: Obviously, your hard work, or you're giving away Rolexes and all that.
- 1:30:41[SPEAKER_06]: But how do you manage and structure your work life balance?
- 1:30:45[SPEAKER_10]: There you go.
- 1:30:46[SPEAKER_10]: Running it up.
- 1:30:47[SPEAKER_07]: Well, first, I love that you acknowledged why you resonated with what I do.
- 1:30:52[SPEAKER_07]: Because people won't resonate with your expertise.
- 1:30:54[SPEAKER_07]: They resonate with who you are.
- 1:30:58[SPEAKER_07]: Your expertise is what hooks them, but who you are is what keeps them.
- 1:31:03[SPEAKER_07]: And here's a five F framework for creating connections online.
- 1:31:10[SPEAKER_07]: Fashion, faith, fitness, food, family.
- 1:31:16[SPEAKER_07]: More people are excited to see that Ruby doesn't have a cast on, then coming to this event.
- 1:31:24[SPEAKER_07]: But that's why people will care about you is because they know you.
- 1:31:31[SPEAKER_07]: I don't see it as balance, I see it as rhythm.
- 1:31:36[SPEAKER_07]: Like the Bible is very clear that work is a gift from God.
- 1:31:42[SPEAKER_07]: And so if we saw it and it's just, honestly, it's just sometimes it's just the word we're using to, we're looking for balance as opposed to looking for rhythm.
- 1:31:54[SPEAKER_07]: And so,
- 1:31:56[SPEAKER_07]: If you think about balancing, it's eight hours in the office, ten hours in the office, and then what you're going to give ten hours out, then it's impossible.
- 1:32:06[SPEAKER_07]: So, balance is actually impossible.
- 1:32:09[SPEAKER_07]: What I've found when you find a rhythm and a joy in what it is you do.
- 1:32:16[SPEAKER_07]: What tends to happen is it allows you to not feel like it's work.
- 1:32:24[SPEAKER_07]: So here's what happens, by the way.
- 1:32:26[SPEAKER_07]: Everyone wants to be an entrepreneur nowadays, it's what it seems like.
- 1:32:30[SPEAKER_07]: But they want to be entrepreneurs for the wrong reasons.
- 1:32:36[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not saying you did, I'm just saying they did.
- 1:32:39[SPEAKER_07]: Not here.
- 1:32:40[SPEAKER_07]: Nope.
- 1:32:42[SPEAKER_07]: People want to build businesses because they want freedom.
- 1:32:47[SPEAKER_07]: What you don't realize is when you start a business, you might be able to at some point accomplish time freedom in exchange for a mental bondage.
- 1:33:00[SPEAKER_07]: I am 24-7 working, and I can't escape it.
- 1:33:06[SPEAKER_07]: I can do what I want when I want to do it.
- 1:33:08[SPEAKER_07]: We can just leave the kids here and go to New York and shout out to the grandparents to make it happen.
- 1:33:14[SPEAKER_07]: Let's give it up for our low-lowest, low-last meanies.
- 1:33:21[SPEAKER_07]: So the reality is, you're working, even when you're not working, because you're working in here.
- 1:33:27[SPEAKER_07]: I think my thing is just to bring, again, it's just bring things along.
- 1:33:35[SPEAKER_07]: Like, and I want, I actually want art and Sophie to like capture this even in this season because even for them doesn't matter, even if you're a WWE employee, you can find the joy in the work you're doing.
- 1:33:46[SPEAKER_07]: But if you actually compartmentalize it, you will rob yourself from experiencing a fulfillment that is so natural.
- 1:33:55[SPEAKER_07]: And so we could go crazy on hours when we travel.
- 1:34:01[SPEAKER_07]: And when we travel and we shop and we eat good steak, and he can call that a 13 hour work day, or he can say, I have the Titus life out of all my friends at age 23, and I'm making more than all of them, and I'm on track to make even more, and I got a rolly.
- 1:34:20[SPEAKER_07]: But art has been able to tap in and see at his age the joy in working.
- 1:34:26[SPEAKER_07]: And I don't know, I mean, I think we've just been sold a lie that work is taking when work is giving.
- 1:34:36[SPEAKER_07]: And when I say rhythm, it abs and blows.
- 1:34:40[SPEAKER_07]: Like, and then it's also, oh, this is really important.
- 1:34:44[SPEAKER_07]: If you prioritize the right things, create constraints.
- 1:34:50[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, the last two days we had a mastermind here with about 20, 25 people, two Amanda and my kids, it was like any other work day.
- 1:35:00[SPEAKER_07]: I actually brought Ruby yesterday, so she was with me.
- 1:35:04[SPEAKER_07]: But like, work is life, you know?
- 1:35:07[SPEAKER_07]: So I leave my house at eight, and I'm back home at three.
- 1:35:11[SPEAKER_07]: I actually forgot about my haircut appointment because my body just took me home yesterday.
- 1:35:17[SPEAKER_07]: And I relieved our nanny that we have.
- 1:35:20[SPEAKER_07]: And then I'm just sitting at home.
- 1:35:21[SPEAKER_07]: Amanda comes home at 4.30.
- 1:35:23[SPEAKER_07]: I was like, I had a four o'clock appointment.
- 1:35:25[SPEAKER_07]: So I texted my barber Jean, and I was like, bro, I need a 15 minute fade.
- 1:35:29[SPEAKER_07]: And he's like, I thought you forgot.
- 1:35:31[SPEAKER_07]: And I didn't tell him till I got there, but I did forget.
- 1:35:34[SPEAKER_07]: Because my body just took me home, because I love being home.
- 1:35:38[SPEAKER_07]: I think that's what you have to find.
- 1:35:40[SPEAKER_07]: It's like this, this joint at all.
- 1:35:42[SPEAKER_07]: Then it doesn't feel like work.
- 1:35:44[SPEAKER_07]: And here's another thing I'm gonna kill real quick, is work hard play hard.
- 1:35:50[SPEAKER_07]: It's the dumbest thing I've ever heard in my life.
- 1:35:54[SPEAKER_07]: because flip it, like, play hard at work.
- 1:36:02[SPEAKER_07]: Like, it looks like I know you guys watched my brand, you're like, this dude's playing around.
- 1:36:06[SPEAKER_07]: A man who watches this stuff, she's like, what is this dude doing?
- 1:36:09[SPEAKER_07]: Come on.
- 1:36:10[SPEAKER_07]: It literally feels like we're playing.
- 1:36:12[SPEAKER_07]: And here's why you need to play for work because the real work is when you get home.
- 1:36:19[SPEAKER_07]: And so what happens is men work hard, and they go home, and their version of play is turn on the sports game, and open the beer, and no, this is the place why I need to work.
- 1:36:33[SPEAKER_07]: But I can't give if I'm not getting...
- 1:36:36[SPEAKER_07]: from the place I'm working, and you get when you see it like worship, when you see it like God's given you the ability to do this stuff.
- 1:36:43[SPEAKER_07]: It actually says in Deuteronomy, God's given us the ability to create wealth.
- 1:36:47[SPEAKER_07]: So we can establish His covenant in the earth.
- 1:36:49[SPEAKER_07]: So I would just change the word from balance to rhythm and another thing I want to share.
- 1:36:55[SPEAKER_07]: This is kind of like sidebar-yapping.
- 1:37:00[SPEAKER_07]: is most CEOs and leaders fail because they create an environment where they work in where they are worshiped.
- 1:37:10[SPEAKER_07]: And so when they come home and they're not worshiped by their family, they believe work becomes the safe place because everybody worships me at work.
- 1:37:21[SPEAKER_07]: And this is why narcissists make great business owners.
- 1:37:27[SPEAKER_07]: But if your home life isn't dialed, your business life and work life will be in shambles.
- 1:37:33[SPEAKER_07]: And so I just want to encourage you guys here, make the home life number one priority where you give and watch the ripple effect flow into the business.
- 1:37:46[SPEAKER_07]: Every organization and business is a direct reflection of the CEO's bed.
- 1:37:53[SPEAKER_07]: straight up.
- 1:37:55[SPEAKER_07]: If your intimate life with your spouse is off, everything you do in business will eventually catch up.
- 1:38:04[SPEAKER_07]: And you'll try to do a business fix when it's really a home fix.
- 1:38:12[SPEAKER_07]: That wasn't to you.
- 1:38:12[SPEAKER_07]: That was to everybody else.
- 1:38:15[SPEAKER_11]: Thank you.
- 1:38:18[SPEAKER_07]: Oh, let me give you the real practical answer.
- 1:38:19[SPEAKER_07]: You can, here.
- 1:38:22[SPEAKER_07]: It's everything I do in business is one to many.
- 1:38:27[SPEAKER_07]: So, how do I get the freedom, the time freedom?
- 1:38:32[SPEAKER_07]: Because I serve people one to many with the podcast.
- 1:38:36[SPEAKER_07]: Because when I'm on a Zoom call, I make sure more people than just one person's on the Zoom call, or I record it.
- 1:38:43[SPEAKER_07]: So I can clip it up and more people can see things than who are in the room, actually.
- 1:38:48[SPEAKER_07]: More people will watch or listen to this podcast than we're in the room.
- 1:38:53[SPEAKER_07]: And then when I do the challenge, it's one to many.
- 1:38:55[SPEAKER_07]: And then when I sell my offer, it's one to many.
- 1:38:58[SPEAKER_07]: So I only have to work.
- 1:39:01[SPEAKER_07]: a day a week, but then because I love what I do, we just be chilling here.
- 1:39:08[SPEAKER_07]: So that is a very practical answer, because I tried to get it all philosophical and theoretical, but I'm a yapper.
- 1:39:17[SPEAKER_07]: But yeah, what are you doing right now in your business?
- 1:39:19[SPEAKER_07]: That's one to one, that could be one to many.
- 1:39:23[SPEAKER_07]: It's that that singular shift can change everything for the sake of speed because I can't I didn't even know.
- 1:39:29[SPEAKER_10]: I don't I mean, I don't think that's a line.
- 1:39:31[SPEAKER_10]: Is that a line back there?
- 1:39:32[SPEAKER_07]: That is a line, bro.
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_07]: Is it?
- 1:39:33[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 1:39:34[SPEAKER_07]: So it's my question is and then I'm going to, I'm going to just rapid fire.
- 1:39:37[SPEAKER_07]: Let's go.
- 1:39:38[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 1:39:39[SPEAKER_08]: What's something you wish more men your age would talk about openly and this is for both you and art?
- 1:39:46[SPEAKER_08]: Well, just sorry.
- 1:39:47[SPEAKER_08]: What was the question?
- 1:39:49[SPEAKER_08]: I got to text.
- 1:39:50[SPEAKER_08]: What is something you wish more man your age would talk about openly?
- 1:39:58[SPEAKER_10]: That's such an interesting question.
- 1:39:59[SPEAKER_10]: Do you have your answer?
- 1:40:01[SPEAKER_10]: Because I'll think about mine.
- 1:40:02[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I mean mine would be money and relationships.
- 1:40:07[SPEAKER_10]: Money and relationships.
- 1:40:10[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, we were told growing up to talk about money was rude.
- 1:40:16[SPEAKER_07]: And it was when money became a normal conversation because the man is the provider.
- 1:40:25[SPEAKER_07]: It's like, how can we talk about being providers without actually talking about money?
- 1:40:30[SPEAKER_07]: And so, I think the money conversation leads into a lot of other conversations, right?
- 1:40:36[SPEAKER_07]: Then how we use the money, how we keep the bad.
- 1:40:40[SPEAKER_07]: It's not just make the bag as keep the bag.
- 1:40:41[SPEAKER_07]: You know, like, yeah, I mean, for me, money relationships.
- 1:40:45[SPEAKER_10]: I would say, like, men, my age, what are they doing to help somebody else?
- 1:40:52[SPEAKER_10]: Whether it's like on a, you know, big level or big scale, or it's somebody, like,
- 1:40:56[SPEAKER_10]: A lot of men, my age, talk about what they want to do, the future they want to build, which is fine, but I think to Omar's point that he talks about is, give your 20s away, to build somebody else's thing, and your time will eventually come later, and that's kind of my testimony.
- 1:41:15[SPEAKER_10]: People ask me all the time, like, art, like, when are you going to do your own thing, or are you building something, and I'm like, no.
- 1:41:21[SPEAKER_10]: I'm focused on building Omar's thing, helping him make more money.
- 1:41:26[SPEAKER_10]: I will eventually make more money.
- 1:41:28[SPEAKER_10]: And I'm good.
- 1:41:29[SPEAKER_07]: Are you making more money, bro?
- 1:41:32[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:41:32[SPEAKER_07]: Bro, high-key art salaries, 23 is always kind of wild.
- 1:41:35[SPEAKER_07]: No, 100.
- 1:41:36[SPEAKER_10]: But.
- 1:41:39[SPEAKER_10]: But yeah, I mean that's tell him how much you make no But anyway, yes, uh, yeah if like they would just be focused on helping somebody else and you know Their time will come that's what I would say it's stuff climb it up
- 1:41:57[SPEAKER_00]: I'm so glad we got into what Art's gonna do with his money now after he has his Rolex.
- 1:42:03[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 1:42:04[SPEAKER_00]: You know, we played golf about a month ago and Art was like, hey, I, you know, financial coach and I'm asking Art when he's gonna start investing.
- 1:42:13[SPEAKER_00]: His answer was as soon as I get a Rolex.
- 1:42:16[SPEAKER_00]: Did you, was that your answer?
- 1:42:18[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, jokingly, but, Gary.
- 1:42:21[SPEAKER_07]: There you go.
- 1:42:21[SPEAKER_07]: The investment journey starts at 23.
- 1:42:23[SPEAKER_07]: Shoutout to Art.
- 1:42:24[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's so cool to see this Omar, you know, being someone that was, you know, in the original OGV video department.
- 1:42:32[SPEAKER_00]: What would you say as someone from my question is, from a packaging standpoint, from a offer, from a process and packaging, from someone that's either starting out or someone like myself that's, you know, in the weeds or in the moment of, like growth.
- 1:42:48[SPEAKER_00]: Um, like, is there something that you can say about, you know, when you started your packaging offer at $19.97 or $2,000 to what it is today, like, what that journey was like, and then how did you pull all of that together?
- 1:43:02[SPEAKER_07]: So good.
- 1:43:03[SPEAKER_07]: So yeah, the thing I currently charge $25,000 for, I originally started charge $2,000 for.
- 1:43:10[SPEAKER_07]: It's the same thing.
- 1:43:11[SPEAKER_07]: I sell the same thing.
- 1:43:13[SPEAKER_07]: but I got access to the value I really provided when I heard it articulated from other people in rooms I invested to be in.
- 1:43:24[SPEAKER_07]: So the $55,000 room.
- 1:43:28[SPEAKER_07]: that I invested to be in it for my own, people told me what I actually did.
- 1:43:34[SPEAKER_07]: And when I say actually, I mean the actual payoff of what I help people do, become industry celebrities, become trusted voices, and allow people because they have a brand, because everything's downstream from brand.
- 1:43:46[SPEAKER_07]: You have a good brand?
- 1:43:48[SPEAKER_07]: When you say a price, there are people who are ready to say yes.
- 1:43:51[SPEAKER_07]: Myrne would say, be the person somebody says yes to you before you give them an offer.
- 1:43:57[SPEAKER_00]: So, and we did that, this spring, right?
- 1:44:01[SPEAKER_00]: When I was like, hey man, I'm ready to do this.
- 1:44:03[SPEAKER_00]: Like I signed up for the challenge, but how much is the thing after the challenge?
- 1:44:07[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:44:08[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I was like, what's 17 for you?
- 1:44:10[SPEAKER_07]: 19?
- 1:44:11[SPEAKER_00]: 15, 17.
- 1:44:12[SPEAKER_07]: And then how fast did you make back?
- 1:44:14[SPEAKER_00]: I similarly did my first challenge, which was in the spring.
- 1:44:17[SPEAKER_07]: And then how much did you make in a week?
- 1:44:19[SPEAKER_00]: I've been anywhere between $25 to $50,000 challenges.
- 1:44:25[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, I was in Cabo, and it was like 70 grand.
- 1:44:28[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah.
- 1:44:28[SPEAKER_07]: Turn up.
- 1:44:30[SPEAKER_07]: But you do it when you start having more conversations and the context of the conversations actually show you the value.
- 1:44:38[SPEAKER_07]: So when I got around people who made a lot of money and the reason why they were making a lot of money is because they knew how to sell.
- 1:44:43[SPEAKER_07]: And when you know how to sell, you know what words to use.
- 1:44:46[SPEAKER_07]: And when I started using more sophisticated words in my marketing and my branding and my messaging, I started, it became less about content and it became more about money.
- 1:44:55[SPEAKER_07]: And here's why.
- 1:44:57[SPEAKER_07]: Because humans just care about money.
- 1:44:59[SPEAKER_07]: Sure.
- 1:44:59[SPEAKER_07]: So like, here I am trying to talk about something that I love, but like, people all really their biggest concern is money.
- 1:45:07[SPEAKER_07]: People buy things in one of three categories as far as like to help their life.
- 1:45:14[SPEAKER_07]: It's health, wealth, and relationships.
- 1:45:17[SPEAKER_07]: Every offer must fall into one of those categories.
- 1:45:21[SPEAKER_07]: So when I think of myself as somebody who helps build their personal brand and online business, I think I help people's wealth and their relationships.
- 1:45:30[SPEAKER_07]: So that's what I need to talk about in the sales process or in my messaging.
- 1:45:35[SPEAKER_07]: And so it really is is allowing people to communicate what you really do.
- 1:45:41[SPEAKER_07]: And because what we think we do is very service level.
- 1:45:46[SPEAKER_07]: Yesterday, we had a conversation with Neil, and he was saying how he helped this loan officer grow his business to multiple six figures.
- 1:45:57[SPEAKER_07]: And then Neil has a text message from this guy.
- 1:45:59[SPEAKER_07]: He says, bro, without you, I wouldn't have been able to go on the very first vacation with my family and actually put out of office on my email.
- 1:46:11[SPEAKER_07]: that kneels, kneels, sells freedom.
- 1:46:14[SPEAKER_07]: He doesn't sell, build your business.
- 1:46:17[SPEAKER_07]: So it really is like being able to articulate it.
- 1:46:21[SPEAKER_07]: Dude, it's, what, essentially, Omar, how do you go from $22,000 and charging $20,000 by changing the words I was saying, connected to the offer?
- 1:46:32[SPEAKER_07]: Awesome.
- 1:46:32[SPEAKER_07]: All right, yup.
- 1:46:32[SPEAKER_07]: Thanks, guys.
- 1:46:33[SPEAKER_07]: Congratulations.
- 1:46:34[SPEAKER_07]: Love you, bro.
- 1:46:36[SPEAKER_10]: All right, rapid fire.
- 1:46:37[SPEAKER_07]: What should we do here?
- 1:46:38[SPEAKER_10]: Or should we just wrap one more question?
- 1:46:42[SPEAKER_07]: One more question and then we'll have barbecue.
- 1:46:44[SPEAKER_07]: Yes.
- 1:46:45[SPEAKER_07]: And then you guys can ask me a question outside after I use the bathroom and then drink coffee and then put gum in my mouth.
- 1:46:55[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so I've already filmed five episodes and my podcast is day viewing this week, but I'm nervous and I've been trying to do what you said to do on your episodes, but my husband got monetized in like six weeks, so I'm like, I'm watching him, but I'm listening to you, so I just wanna know, what's the best way to roll this thing out before I come to your cash to kind of program.
- 1:47:21[SPEAKER_02]: So good.
- 1:47:22[SPEAKER_07]: Let's go.
- 1:47:24[SPEAKER_07]: We'll clap it up for doing the work before you.
- 1:47:28[SPEAKER_07]: I think you can take the pressure off by doing something every week, by just batching it and condensing time that way.
- 1:47:41[SPEAKER_07]: Honestly, my thing is there is no one way.
- 1:47:46[SPEAKER_07]: It's really just releasing it.
- 1:47:49[SPEAKER_07]: Now, some things you can do.
- 1:47:52[SPEAKER_07]: And before what you can do, here's what you need to know, that this is the least known you ever be.
- 1:47:57[SPEAKER_07]: So all the pressure of putting out your first podcast is a pressure for the smallest audience.
- 1:48:06[SPEAKER_07]: Some people just found the podcast a month ago.
- 1:48:08[SPEAKER_07]: Some people are finding the podcast today, and that number grows in the future.
- 1:48:15[SPEAKER_07]: So I don't always, I don't wanna like, always map out like a launch strategy because launching is the right thing to do.
- 1:48:24[SPEAKER_07]: uploading it, setting it, and then just uploading every week and showing up every week is the right thing to do.
- 1:48:29[SPEAKER_07]: Now, if you want to draw attention to it, you can do a giveaway, you can do a given away a journal.
- 1:48:38[SPEAKER_07]: Giving away a journal.
- 1:48:39[SPEAKER_07]: I would say give away something worth wanting.
- 1:48:42[SPEAKER_07]: I mean, this is just inside, okay.
- 1:48:45[SPEAKER_02]: Keep a real, keep a real, come on, keep a real.
- 1:48:48[SPEAKER_07]: I don't want a journal.
- 1:48:49[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 1:48:50[SPEAKER_02]: What's your podcast about?
- 1:48:51[SPEAKER_02]: It's her freedom project.
- 1:48:53[SPEAKER_02]: I sell freedom, and I'm just kidding.
- 1:48:55[SPEAKER_02]: I just got that from you.
- 1:48:55[SPEAKER_02]: But it's based on how to build a life of freedom.
- 1:48:59[SPEAKER_02]: No women, men.
- 1:49:01[SPEAKER_07]: OK.
- 1:49:01[SPEAKER_07]: The freedom project.
- 1:49:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, the freedom project.
- 1:49:03[SPEAKER_07]: OK, cool.
- 1:49:04[SPEAKER_07]: Is there a series of books that you read to have you come to this realization?
- 1:49:08[SPEAKER_02]: I did 13 years in prison.
- 1:49:10[SPEAKER_02]: So I've had to build my own freedom.
- 1:49:13[SPEAKER_07]: Sure.
- 1:49:14[SPEAKER_07]: No, but it's a project.
- 1:49:15[SPEAKER_07]: What I'm trying to get is resources that have actually helped you.
- 1:49:23[SPEAKER_07]: No.
- 1:49:24[SPEAKER_07]: Well, so here's what I'm trying to get.
- 1:49:28[SPEAKER_07]: Camera gear has helped me get to where I am.
- 1:49:32[SPEAKER_07]: And so I'm giving away the thing that helped me get to where I am.
- 1:49:36[SPEAKER_07]: Now,
- 1:49:38[SPEAKER_07]: That was worth getting people's attention.
- 1:49:43[SPEAKER_07]: I'm not saying you have to do this, this is just something that can, it's an opportunity to just create a level of awareness that wouldn't happen otherwise.
- 1:49:50[SPEAKER_07]: So consider, consider a giveaway, but then the idea is that you're here a year from now at your 50th upload.
- 1:49:58[SPEAKER_07]: So let that be the goal as opposed to like any, any other thing like there's no right way there's just doing it like people a lot of times asking what's the right way to do this and there is no right way to do it doing is what's right and so that's why I wanted to just gradually for even getting started what will matter is two years, three years, five years that you have this staple podcast on the word
- 1:50:28[SPEAKER_02]: The journal is what slowed me down from dropping it.
- 1:50:31[SPEAKER_02]: I'm just kidding.
- 1:50:32[SPEAKER_02]: The truth about it.
- 1:50:34[SPEAKER_07]: Well, then just drop it.
- 1:50:35[SPEAKER_02]: I've split into the journal and trying to have something to do.
- 1:50:37[SPEAKER_07]: Okay, I'm going to bring up, can I coach you for a second?
- 1:50:39[SPEAKER_02]: Of course, please do.
- 1:50:41[SPEAKER_07]: When I asked you what resources it went, you went internal journey.
- 1:50:47[SPEAKER_07]: Even this journal, it's about you and what you created.
- 1:50:52[SPEAKER_07]: No one cares about what we create.
- 1:50:55[SPEAKER_07]: Everyone just cares about themselves.
- 1:50:58[SPEAKER_07]: So if you want to get good at marketing and sales, start caring about what people already care about and just give them that.
- 1:51:08[SPEAKER_07]: Like, like.
- 1:51:09[SPEAKER_07]: There's no reason why you can't do.
- 1:51:12[SPEAKER_07]: There's no reason why people here can't just start what I'm talking about before January.
- 1:51:17[SPEAKER_07]: I just gave you every reason to not start.
- 1:51:19[SPEAKER_07]: Don't give yourself a reason to not start.
- 1:51:21[SPEAKER_07]: The journal is a reason for you to not start.
- 1:51:24[SPEAKER_07]: And also the fact that you made it, I'm like the super, but it's probably super cool.
- 1:51:30[SPEAKER_07]: People don't care.
- 1:51:32[SPEAKER_07]: People don't care about the things we create.
- 1:51:34[SPEAKER_07]: They care about themselves.
- 1:51:35[SPEAKER_07]: So when I even thought about this, I thought about what was going through your mind as to why you're not doing the thing that you know you need to be consistent in.
- 1:51:45[SPEAKER_07]: It was a people will start caring about you when they know and feel you've been caring about them.
- 1:51:52[SPEAKER_07]: It's just business, that's business, that's sales, that's servant, but you know, yeah.
- 1:52:03[SPEAKER_02]: That's what, yeah, that's what it is.
- 1:52:05[SPEAKER_02]: It's not like just a blank pages.
- 1:52:07[SPEAKER_07]: No, no, I know, but I'm saying, like, still.
- 1:52:10[SPEAKER_02]: Still.
- 1:52:10[SPEAKER_02]: No one care, okay.
- 1:52:13[SPEAKER_07]: I know it, I know that it's like, like, what do people care about themselves?
- 1:52:19[SPEAKER_02]: And I feel like that's what I need to lock into and tap into.
- 1:52:24[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, but I'll say this, launch the podcast, and that's it.
- 1:52:28[SPEAKER_07]: That's the right thing to do.
- 1:52:29[SPEAKER_07]: So if the journal's in the way, giveaways out of the question, forget anything I just said in the last three minutes.
- 1:52:35[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'm not forgetting anything.
- 1:52:38[SPEAKER_07]: It's so good.
- 1:52:38[SPEAKER_07]: All right, so thank you for coming.
- 1:52:44[SPEAKER_07]: Lunch is served.
- 1:52:46[SPEAKER_07]: Shout out to Kenjud barbecue.
- 1:52:47[SPEAKER_07]: Thank you for coming.
- 1:52:48[SPEAKER_07]: Please have some.
- 1:52:49[SPEAKER_07]: It was $3,500 for this lunch.
- 1:52:54[SPEAKER_07]: Hey, I haven't spent, I didn't spend that much money on our wedding food because we were broke.
- 1:53:01[SPEAKER_10]: So, and scan the QR code for photos.
- 1:53:05[SPEAKER_10]: Oh, so you took any pictures.
- 1:53:07[SPEAKER_10]: They're for photographer here.
- 1:53:09[SPEAKER_10]: So, eight.
- 1:53:10[SPEAKER_07]: All right.
- 1:53:11[SPEAKER_07]: All right, Lord bless the food to our bodies in Jesus' name, Amen.
- 1:53:17[SPEAKER_07]: All right, thank y'all.
