- 0:01Speaker 1: The following episode is brought to you by Noon dot Com.
- 0:04Speaker 1: That's n oo M dot com slash This is America
- 0:09Speaker 1: and is a throwback Tuesday from twenty nineteen, back when
- 0:14Speaker 1: Trump was president. A couple of my thoughts on a
- 0:16Speaker 1: few different topics. I hope you enjoy it. We'll be
- 0:19Speaker 1: right back.
- 0:19Speaker 2: Mister Carl Screener, who is a budding radio star.
- 0:22Speaker 3: By the way, Richie Valdez is terrific.
- 0:31Speaker 4: This is America with Rich Valdez powered michaelidweek dot com and.
- 0:36Speaker 5: Rich Valdez is with us former Christian administration officials.
- 0:38Speaker 2: You work for Chris Christie and in follstas on a lot
- 0:40Speaker 2: of public service stuff. Rich Valdez, calm list now with
- 0:43Speaker 2: the Washington Times, This is America. We're talking Antifa, anarchy
- 0:50Speaker 2: and Alynski today on This is America with America.
- 0:58Speaker 4: With your host Rich Valdez.
- 1:00Speaker 2: Thank you mister Chris Libertini, production director at WABC Radio
- 1:06Speaker 2: in New York City. And of course a big thanks
- 1:08Speaker 2: to our executive producer mister Samensa from the Mark Levin Show.
- 1:12Speaker 5: So you want to be a gangster, all that smoke
- 1:16Speaker 5: any more?
- 1:16Speaker 1: The stuff, don't eat this trip you need take whatever
- 1:20Speaker 1: you want, they get done. You a gangster?
- 1:25Speaker 5: Let one lift?
- 1:27Speaker 2: Who So the Democrats want to be gangsters? No more,
- 1:31Speaker 2: mister nice guy? Huh? And she's not in jail now,
- 1:36Speaker 2: she wants to fight. Check out this clip of Hillary
- 1:39Speaker 2: Clinton in England earlier this week on CNN.
- 1:42Speaker 3: You cannot be civil with a political party that wants
- 1:46Speaker 3: to destroy what you stand for, what you care about.
- 1:50Speaker 3: That's why I believe if we are fortunate enough to
- 1:54Speaker 3: win back the House and or the Senate, that's when
- 1:57Speaker 3: civility can start again. Untill then, the only thing that
- 2:01Speaker 3: the Republicans seemed to recognize and respect is strength. And
- 2:07Speaker 3: you heard how the Republican members, led by Mitch McConnell
- 2:12Speaker 3: the president, really demeaned the confirmation process, insulted and attacked
- 2:21Speaker 3: not only doctor Ford but women who were speaking out.
- 2:26Speaker 3: You know, look, I remember Republican operatives shutting down the
- 2:30Speaker 3: voting in Florida in two thousand. I remember the swift
- 2:36Speaker 3: voting of John Carey. I remember the things that even
- 2:40Speaker 3: the Republican Party did to John McCain in two thousand.
- 2:44Speaker 3: I remember what they did to me for twenty five years,
- 2:47Speaker 3: the falsehoods, the lies which Unfortunately people believe because the
- 2:51Speaker 3: Republicans have put a lot of time, money, and effort
- 2:53Speaker 3: in promoting them. So, when you're dealing with an ideological
- 2:58Speaker 3: party that is driven by the lust for power, that
- 3:03Speaker 3: is funded by corporate interests who want a government that
- 3:06Speaker 3: does its bidding.
- 3:07Speaker 2: It's hot.
- 3:08Speaker 3: You can be civil, but you can't overcome what they
- 3:12Speaker 3: intend to do unless you win elections.
- 3:16Speaker 2: Yeah. So you know what, I remember, missus Clinton, I
- 3:19Speaker 2: remember you losing in twenty sixteen. I also remember, and
- 3:23Speaker 2: I think America is going to remember this call for incivility,
- 3:27Speaker 2: which seems to be the going trend. And if you
- 3:29Speaker 2: don't believe me, wait there's more. Check out this one
- 3:32Speaker 2: from former Attorney General Eric Holder, speaking at what looks
- 3:37Speaker 2: like a school and contradicting First Lady Michelle Obama while
- 3:41Speaker 2: advocating violence. Michelle Always says Michelle Obama, I love her,
- 3:44Speaker 2: you know, she and my wife like really tice, which
- 3:48Speaker 2: boys scares.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Me and rock.
- 3:51Speaker 4: But Michelle Wood says that you know when they go low,
- 3:54Speaker 4: we no, they go low, we kick right.
- 4:10Speaker 1: That's what this new Democratic Party is about. We're proud
- 4:13Speaker 1: of hell to be Democrats. We're going to fight for
- 4:16Speaker 1: the ideals of the Democratic Party.
- 4:18Speaker 2: So very very classy, mister Holder. And they say that
- 4:22Speaker 2: Trump is uncouth, this guy wants to kick people while
- 4:26Speaker 2: they're down. Mister producer, does that sound like tolerance to you?
- 4:30Speaker 2: Aren't the Democrats the party of tolerance?
- 4:33Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 4:33Speaker 2: So we would think looks like mob rule is the
- 4:36Speaker 2: new Democrat Party. And I'm not saying that that's literally
- 4:40Speaker 2: what Eric Holder just said, the new Democrat Party, But
- 4:43Speaker 2: is it really and what I'm saying there is Wasn't
- 4:47Speaker 2: it the Democrats that led lynchings in the South. Wasn't
- 4:51Speaker 2: it President Obama that said Democrats with a party of slavery?
- 4:54Speaker 2: Don't believe me, listen to this.
- 4:56Speaker 5: I understand this is not just a matter of Democrats
- 4:59Speaker 5: versus Republicans or liberals versus conservatives. At various times in
- 5:04Speaker 5: our history this kind of politics has invected both parties.
- 5:09Speaker 5: Southern Democrats were the bigger defenders of slavery. It took
- 5:13Speaker 5: a Republican president, Abraham Lincoln to end it. Dixocrats filibustered
- 5:19Speaker 5: anti lynching legislation, opposed the idea of expanding civil rights,
- 5:24Speaker 5: and although it was a Democratic president and a majority
- 5:28Speaker 5: Democrat Congress, spurred on by young marchers and protesters, they
- 5:33Speaker 5: got the Civil Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Over the finish.
- 5:36Speaker 5: Line, those historic laws also got passed because of the
- 5:42Speaker 5: leadership of Republicans like Illinois own Everett Dirkson. So neither
- 5:48Speaker 5: party has had a monopoly on wisdom.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Well well, well, so it seems that thankfully President Obama
- 5:55Speaker 2: decided to tell us the truth and admit that, yes,
- 5:58Speaker 2: the Democrats are the party of slavery. And it seems
- 6:02Speaker 2: that the riots from the sixties, the weather underground and
- 6:05Speaker 2: their bombings of buildings faarn and their bombings and all
- 6:11Speaker 2: of their mob tactics are not necessarily new to the Dems.
- 6:15Speaker 2: This has been the strategy, or I should say the
- 6:19Speaker 2: strategy of the left for decades, because it was the
- 6:22Speaker 2: radical leftists from the sixties that have molded and prepared
- 6:27Speaker 2: the Hilaries and Baracks of today. So, in fact, I
- 6:30Speaker 2: would argue that progressive liberals like John F. Kennedy helped
- 6:34Speaker 2: bring the Democrats back to the center. But each Democrat
- 6:38Speaker 2: following Kennedy, from Lyndon Johnson straight through Obama has edged
- 6:43Speaker 2: closer and closer to the extreme left. So now we
- 6:46Speaker 2: have candidates that want to oppose the constitution, like Alexandria
- 6:50Speaker 2: Ocasio Cortez, for example, who is the prodigy of Senator
- 6:54Speaker 2: Bernie Sanders. Now, even the likes of seemingly moderate Democrats
- 6:59Speaker 2: Likery Booker once was and Kamala Harris once was, they've
- 7:03Speaker 2: even moved further to the left to be able to
- 7:05Speaker 2: compete with their far left progressive colleagues like Elizabeth Warren
- 7:09Speaker 2: and Bernie Sanders. But why well, I'll tell you why.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Because at its core, leftists believe that the government is
- 7:17Speaker 2: the cure to all ills. And in the Trump era,
- 7:21Speaker 2: freethinking Americans are deciding to think for themselves. They want
- 7:25Speaker 2: to decide what's good for them and what's good for
- 7:27Speaker 2: their families. It's not the government deciding for us that
- 7:30Speaker 2: the left wants. The left wants to decide what's good
- 7:32Speaker 2: for us. So this bothers them because liberty bothers them,
- 7:36Speaker 2: and our god given rights to life and liberty and
- 7:39Speaker 2: the pursuit of happiness bothers them as well. This is America.
- 7:42Speaker 2: I'm richald Esk.

- 9:16Speaker 4: This is America.
- 9:19Speaker 2: The Antifa anarchists have been going wild in Portland for years.
- 9:22Speaker 2: And I know this because my good friend Mike Strickland
- 9:25Speaker 2: has been speaking truth to power to them for years
- 9:28Speaker 2: as both an activist and a blogger in Portland, Oregon.
- 9:31Speaker 2: So last year, he was attacked by protesters while covering
- 9:35Speaker 2: a demonstration in Portland and drew his licensed handgun to
- 9:37Speaker 2: defend himself from a mob of masked left wing protesters. Now,
- 9:42Speaker 2: as the saying goes, no good deed goes unpunished, Mike
- 9:47Speaker 2: was obviously charged with some sort of violation and the
- 9:50Speaker 2: incident went viral, getting tons of activity on YouTube. With
- 9:55Speaker 2: all of the news this week with Antifa mobs attacking
- 9:58Speaker 2: cars and blocking I couldn't help but think of my
- 10:01Speaker 2: buddy Mike Strickland in Portland. So today Mike Strickland writes
- 10:06Speaker 2: for The Gateway Pundit, and it's my pleasure to welcome
- 10:10Speaker 2: here to This is America. So Mike Strickland, welcome, you're
- 10:13Speaker 2: on This is America.
- 10:15Speaker 4: Hey, thanks for having me.
- 10:16Speaker 2: We have the audio of your attack. Why don't you
- 10:19Speaker 2: set the scene for us before mister producer plays that cut?
- 10:22Speaker 4: Okay, Well, you know I covered a lot of political
- 10:26Speaker 4: events in the Portland area here as mainly a video
- 10:29Speaker 4: based news journalist that eventually morphed into landing some blogging
- 10:33Speaker 4: jobs too. You know, I covered a lot of things
- 10:36Speaker 4: that the mainstream media was not covering, and I had
- 10:39Speaker 4: so much leeway on YouTube and through blogs and whatnot
- 10:42Speaker 4: that I could pretty much cover whatever I wanted. So
- 10:44Speaker 4: I covered a lot of protests in the area, a
- 10:47Speaker 4: lot of like politician town halls, a lot of the
- 10:49Speaker 4: goings on at the local colleges when they're you know,
- 10:53Speaker 4: doing their Marxists and doctrination and stuff.
- 10:55Speaker 2: So on this particular day, what's it like you were
- 10:58Speaker 2: covering a protest to demonstr or are you just walking
- 11:01Speaker 2: through a neighborhood? Tell us what's going on?
- 11:03Speaker 4: I was covering a protest, you know, and when I
- 11:04Speaker 4: go to these things. I'm not there to start fights
- 11:07Speaker 4: or argue with anyone. I take like a fly on
- 11:09Speaker 4: the wall perspective. You know, I'm just standing there. I
- 11:11Speaker 4: keep to myself, usually have my camera on a monopod
- 11:14Speaker 4: and I'm just filming what happens and then you know,
- 11:16Speaker 4: post it up on YouTube to cover events here in
- 11:18Speaker 4: the Portland area. And so yeah, I was just there
- 11:21Speaker 4: to cover the event, see what's going on. And then
- 11:24Speaker 4: I'm just standing there filming next thing I know GG
- 11:27Speaker 4: and these masked thugs led by a guy who's literally
- 11:30Speaker 4: twice my size, standing their mine in my own business.
- 11:34Speaker 4: And I look over and these guys are making a
- 11:35Speaker 4: bee line straight for me.
- 11:37Speaker 2: I want to play the clip so that everybody can
- 11:40Speaker 2: can follow along on what's happening. Get out here.
- 11:45Speaker 4: I'm not a raising. I don't know why the hell back.
- 12:30Speaker 2: Okay, So that was a lot to take in. Give
- 12:32Speaker 2: us the play by play.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, like I said, I'm just standing there
- 12:35Speaker 4: in minding my own business, and I look over and
- 12:38Speaker 4: these guys are making a bee line straight for me,
- 12:40Speaker 4: and they're they're led by this guy. His name is
- 12:42Speaker 4: Benjamin Carenza, and he's literally twice my size. He's got
- 12:47Speaker 4: a vast criminal history. These guys are, you know, five
- 12:51Speaker 4: six seven, I don't even remember how many of them.
- 12:53Speaker 4: They're wearing masks over their faces. They're carrying their anarchist flagpoles,
- 12:56Speaker 4: which I've personally seen used as weapons. So they started
- 13:00Speaker 4: circling me, they start pushing and shoving me, stream that
- 13:02Speaker 4: me to get out of there. I'm like, hey, you
- 13:04Speaker 4: don't leave me alone, don't put your hands on me,
- 13:06Speaker 4: and I start backing away immediately. The listeners can see
- 13:09Speaker 4: all these videos on my YouTube channel, laughing at liberals
- 13:12Speaker 4: on YouTube, and so I'm backing away up the block
- 13:15Speaker 4: and these people are just converging on me, and it
- 13:17Speaker 4: reaches a point where I've been on the retreat this
- 13:20Speaker 4: entire time.
- 13:21Speaker 2: And your head right now, when when you when these
- 13:24Speaker 2: guys are coming your way, Oh.
- 13:26Speaker 4: They mean business.
- 13:27Speaker 2: You know.
- 13:27Speaker 4: I've dealt with a little bit of you know, verbal
- 13:29Speaker 4: abuse at these things, but not quite like this, you know,
- 13:32Speaker 4: not not this level of a physical abuse towards me.
- 13:36Speaker 4: And so my thing at that point is to try
- 13:39Speaker 4: to avoid the situation. I'm on the retreat. I'm backing
- 13:42Speaker 4: away the entire time as these guys are continuing to
- 13:46Speaker 4: bear down on me, and it reaches a point where
- 13:49Speaker 4: sort of the bulk of the mob and another.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Kind of back and it's got to do something to
- 13:54Speaker 2: defend yourself.
- 13:55Speaker 4: Yeah, it reaches a point in the book the bulk
- 13:57Speaker 4: of the mob is to my right, so that's for
- 13:59Speaker 4: my attention is. And I happened to catch out of
- 14:01Speaker 4: the corner of my eye this big dude, Benjamin Carenza
- 14:04Speaker 4: now coming up on my blind side. And at that point,
- 14:06Speaker 4: I had every reason to believe that these guys were
- 14:09Speaker 4: just seconds away from flattening me into the pavement, robbing
- 14:12Speaker 4: me of my camera gear, my computer gear. They left
- 14:15Speaker 4: me with pretty much no choice but to draw at
- 14:17Speaker 4: that point.
- 14:18Speaker 2: With that in mind, And I mean, it sounds like
- 14:20Speaker 2: a lot to go through. And I know that you
- 14:23Speaker 2: went through a whole legal process related to that, and
- 14:26Speaker 2: I can't imagine what that was. Like, what's your sense
- 14:29Speaker 2: of what's happening right now in Portland? As you know,
- 14:31Speaker 2: Portland's been in the news again with now Antifa in
- 14:35Speaker 2: the streets.
- 14:36Speaker 4: Yeah, you know, And that's the scary precedent here that's
- 14:39Speaker 4: been set with my case because I was the one arrested,
- 14:42Speaker 4: charged with crimes, eventually found guilty of ten felonies for
- 14:46Speaker 4: not wanting to be beaten and robbed, and these mob
- 14:48Speaker 4: of thugs are considered the innocent victims. So essentially what
- 14:52Speaker 4: you have here on the streets of Portland is mob
- 14:54Speaker 4: violence has been legalized and the First Amendment has been invalidated.
- 14:59Speaker 4: So mobs, if fugs can go around assaulting journalists in
- 15:02Speaker 4: the street, and if the journalists try to stop the
- 15:04Speaker 4: mob of thugs, then they're the ones guilty of crimes
- 15:07Speaker 4: and the mob of thugs are the innocent victims. And
- 15:10Speaker 4: so with that scary precedent, the mobs pretty much rule
- 15:13Speaker 4: the streets now. The police are ordered by the mayor
- 15:15Speaker 4: to stand down. Let these moba thugs rule the streets.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Just yeah, watching, yeah, when.
- 15:23Speaker 4: It happened to me a couple of years ago. No
- 15:26Speaker 4: police anywhere to be seen. There's comments of these guys
- 15:28Speaker 4: marching through the streets, screaming, yelling. You know, not a
- 15:31Speaker 4: single uniformed police officer anywhere to be seen. We're left
- 15:35Speaker 4: to fend for ourselves.
- 15:36Speaker 2: And how do we think what's the most peaceful way
- 15:39Speaker 2: to resolve this film?
- 15:40Speaker 4: The politicians in your area film, what's actually happening in
- 15:43Speaker 4: the area, posted up on YouTube, posted up on Facebook.
- 15:47Speaker 4: You know, let the world see what's actually going on
- 15:50Speaker 4: with these things, but stay safe.
- 15:51Speaker 2: At the same time, tell me about your work with
- 15:54Speaker 2: Gateway Pundit. I know that you're writing there, now tell
- 15:56Speaker 2: me all about it.
- 15:58Speaker 4: Oh jeez. Well, so here's one of the interesting things
- 16:01Speaker 4: is asker. I was found guilty of not wanting to
- 16:03Speaker 4: be beaten and robbed. In fact, even when I was
- 16:05Speaker 4: on pre trial release, they ex banned me from blogging,
- 16:09Speaker 4: going on Twitter, posting videos on YouTube, wow, talking to
- 16:13Speaker 4: the media, so I could not state my case. But
- 16:17Speaker 4: a lot of that's been lifted. I'm still banned from
- 16:19Speaker 4: filming political events, so I just try to cover what
- 16:22Speaker 4: I can. And again, I like to focus on things
- 16:24Speaker 4: that I think deserve attention that aren't being covered by meanstains.
- 16:28Speaker 2: Absolutely, and you've always been really good at that. So
- 16:30Speaker 2: tell everybody that's listening how they learn more about you know,
- 16:33Speaker 2: what Mike Strickland is doing, and your work with Laughing
- 16:37Speaker 2: at Liberals.
- 16:38Speaker 4: Yeah, YouTube dot com slash Laughing at Liberals is my
- 16:40Speaker 4: YouTube channel. I encourage everybody to get out there because
- 16:43Speaker 4: I'd hate to see what happened to me happen to
- 16:45Speaker 4: anybody else.
- 16:46Speaker 2: All Right, we'll leave it there. Thank you. Mike Strickland
- 16:48Speaker 2: from Portland, Oregon. Up next, we're going to talk about
- 16:51Speaker 2: why the left acts this way. We're going to look
- 16:53Speaker 2: at a few rules from Sololinsky's famous book Rules for Radicals.
- 16:57Speaker 2: When we come back on this as America, this is Samara.
- 17:04Speaker 5: You don't hand matches to an arsonist, and you don't
- 17:09Speaker 5: get power to an angry left wing mob. And that
- 17:13Speaker 5: is what they've become.
- 17:22Speaker 4: The Democrats have been calmed to extreme and too dangerous
- 17:26Speaker 4: to govern. Republicans believe in the rule of law, not
- 17:32Speaker 4: the rule of the mob.
- 17:34Speaker 2: So why does the left behave this way? From the
- 17:37Speaker 2: macro sense, it's in line with the thinking and teaching
- 17:40Speaker 2: of left wing dictators, communist leaders who used emotional blackmail
- 17:44Speaker 2: to appeal to and manipulate the masses. If you've heard
- 17:47Speaker 2: me say before that there's an art of influencing, it's
- 17:50Speaker 2: because there is when you want to influence people, and
- 17:52Speaker 2: the media is excellent at this, and politicians are even
- 17:54Speaker 2: better than they are. And the left has mastered the
- 17:57Speaker 2: art of influencing people by taking their emotions, hostage, and
- 18:01Speaker 2: taking whatever else they want by force. So you heard
- 18:05Speaker 2: me talk about Saul Alinsky, the community organizer who wrote
- 18:08Speaker 2: a book several but most famous for his book Rules
- 18:11Speaker 2: for Radicals. I want to read off a couple of
- 18:14Speaker 2: these rules. We're not going to be able to break
- 18:16Speaker 2: them down on today's program. I want to read them
- 18:18Speaker 2: so that you have an idea of what was going
- 18:20Speaker 2: through Ulinsky's mind and the approach that he takes in
- 18:24Speaker 2: his quote unquote community organizing. So rule number one, power
- 18:28Speaker 2: is not only what you have, but what the enemy
- 18:30Speaker 2: thinks you have. Mind you, he's talking about community organizing.
- 18:34Speaker 2: So the enemy here is defined as people that disagree
- 18:38Speaker 2: with him. Just to underscore the mindset. Rule number two,
- 18:43Speaker 2: never go outside the expertise of your people. Sounds like
- 18:46Speaker 2: a nice way of saying, don't try to educate people,
- 18:49Speaker 2: keep it simple, stupid. Rule number three, whenever possible, go
- 18:52Speaker 2: outside the expertise of your enemy. So here he's saying,
- 18:55Speaker 2: try to trip them up, be smarter than they are.
- 18:58Speaker 2: And again referring to the enemy adversary, someone that you
- 19:01Speaker 2: know that you're trying to potentially come to a solution
- 19:04Speaker 2: about a community issue with, he refers to them as
- 19:07Speaker 2: the enemy. Rule number four. Make the enemy live up
- 19:11Speaker 2: to its own book of rules. Rule number five. Ridicule
- 19:15Speaker 2: is man's most potent weapon. I think we just saw
- 19:18Speaker 2: a good example of that with the Brett Kavanaugh hearings.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Rule number seven. A tactic that drags on too long
- 19:24Speaker 2: becomes a drag. Rule number eight. Keep the pressure on.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Rule number nine. The threat is usually more terrifying than
- 19:32Speaker 2: the thing itself. Now here's another classic example that we
- 19:36Speaker 2: just witnessed with the threat. The threat was we'll make
- 19:40Speaker 2: these allegations against Brett Kavanaugh, he'll bail out, and we
- 19:44Speaker 2: will have knocked him off of being considered for the
- 19:46Speaker 2: Supreme Court. Kavanaugh dug in his heels. The President had
- 19:49Speaker 2: his back, and this didn't fail. And that's because rule
- 19:52Speaker 2: number nine, the threat is usually more terrifying than the
- 19:55Speaker 2: thing itself. Rule number ten. The major premise for tactics
- 20:00Speaker 2: is the development of operations that will maintain a constant
- 20:03Speaker 2: pressure upon the opposition. Rule number eleven. If you push
- 20:07Speaker 2: a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through
- 20:11Speaker 2: into its counterside. Rule number twelve. The price of a
- 20:16Speaker 2: successful attack is a constructive alternative. Rule number thirteen pick
- 20:21Speaker 2: the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it. Now,
- 20:26Speaker 2: these rules come as no surprise for anybody that's ever
- 20:29Speaker 2: looked at rules for radicals. But for those of you
- 20:32Speaker 2: who haven't, eye opening, it's eye opening to see that
- 20:35Speaker 2: this is how folks on the left look at community organizing.
- 20:40Speaker 2: But where does it come from?
- 20:41Speaker 5: Right?
- 20:41Speaker 2: What's the genesis of this? If we look at some
- 20:43Speaker 2: of the most accomplished communist leaders in history, we become
- 20:49Speaker 2: across Mao, and Mao has written multiple books. I want
- 20:55Speaker 2: to read to you a little bit from Mao's book.
- 20:58Speaker 2: Quotations from Mao say Tongue The Correct Handling of Contradictions
- 21:03Speaker 2: among the People. Mao says there are two types of
- 21:06Speaker 2: social contradictions, those between ourselves and the enemy and those
- 21:09Speaker 2: among the people themselves that confront us. The two are
- 21:12Speaker 2: totally different in nature. This is from the chapter entitled
- 21:16Speaker 2: on the Correct Handling of Contradictions among the People from
- 21:19Speaker 2: February of nineteen fifty seven. Mao goes on to understand
- 21:23Speaker 2: these two types of contradictions correctly, we must first be
- 21:25Speaker 2: clear on what is meant by the people and what
- 21:28Speaker 2: is meant by the enemy, So as you can see now.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Mao also refers to an enemy when talking about dealing
- 21:36Speaker 2: with contradictions amongst people. Going back to what Mao wrote
- 21:40Speaker 2: at the present stage the period of building socialism, the classes,
- 21:45Speaker 2: strata and social groups that favor, support, and work for
- 21:50Speaker 2: the cause of socialist construction all come within the category
- 21:53Speaker 2: of the people, while the social forces and groups which
- 21:57Speaker 2: resist the socialist revolution are style or to sabotage socialist
- 22:02Speaker 2: construction are all enemies of the people. I got this
- 22:06Speaker 2: excerpt from Marxists dot Org if you want to go
- 22:09Speaker 2: check it out. I think this speaks volumes. Here we
- 22:12Speaker 2: have Chairman now the chairman of the Communist Party who
- 22:15Speaker 2: presided over China for decades, very clearly stating that the
- 22:20Speaker 2: people are defined as people that are willing to work
- 22:24Speaker 2: with the Communist Party, people that are willing to build
- 22:27Speaker 2: socialism into their everyday lives. The enemy are people that disagree.
- 22:34Speaker 2: This floors me because being American and living in a
- 22:38Speaker 2: country where I thought we could disagree. I have lots
- 22:40Speaker 2: of friends that like some like the Yankees, some like
- 22:42Speaker 2: the Mets. Nobody looks at each other as the enemy.
- 22:47Speaker 2: But here they're communists. Clearly, see anybody that opposes their
- 22:52Speaker 2: communist ideology. If you are not on the left with them,
- 22:56Speaker 2: you are their enemy. Yes, you heard the right. People
- 23:00Speaker 2: that disagree with socialism, people that disagree with communists, people
- 23:04Speaker 2: disagreeing with left wing ideology are enemies of the people
- 23:09Speaker 2: in their opinion. No wonder the leftists are okay with
- 23:13Speaker 2: taking things by force because they've been trained to see
- 23:17Speaker 2: everyone that disagrees with them as the enemy, because the
- 23:21Speaker 2: government controls the military, and the military can literally force
- 23:24Speaker 2: you to do whatever they want and say. These are
- 23:27Speaker 2: how communist regimes get into power. This is how Mao
- 23:31Speaker 2: got into power. This is how Castro got into power.
- 23:35Speaker 2: That's why one hundred and one years ago this month,
- 23:38Speaker 2: Lenin came into power by using military force that overthrew
- 23:42Speaker 2: the Russian government in what's known as the Red October
- 23:45Speaker 2: Revolution of nineteen seventeen. It was a coup, it sparked
- 23:49Speaker 2: a civil war, and it led to a one party
- 23:51Speaker 2: communist rule in Russia that redistributed the wealth and private
- 23:56Speaker 2: property of its citizens. Maybe Fidel Castro thought that his
- 23:59Speaker 2: fellow citizens in Cuba worth also the enemy of the
- 24:01Speaker 2: people when he jailed them for their political disagreements. So
- 24:06Speaker 2: it's clear to me, I don't want our great country
- 24:09Speaker 2: to end up like Venezuela, to end up like Russia
- 24:12Speaker 2: or the Soviet Union, or China for that matter. And
- 24:16Speaker 2: when any political party starts pushing Marxist ideas, acting like
- 24:21Speaker 2: strong men and taking things by force using mob tactics,
- 24:25Speaker 2: we have to ask ourselves, how did we get here?
- 24:27Speaker 2: How did we get to this mob rule? How did
- 24:30Speaker 2: we get to this anarchy? That's where Olinsky comes in.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Saul Olinsky teaches folks on the left how to organize
- 24:37Speaker 2: low income earners, specifically which data suggests are oftentimes earning
- 24:43Speaker 2: less because they have lower levels of education. So something
- 24:46Speaker 2: I've always been passionate about is education. Education to me
- 24:49Speaker 2: is the great equalizer. Education is what will allow people
- 24:53Speaker 2: to be able to think freely, amass wealth, make a
- 24:57Speaker 2: difference in their lives. Without education, you can get stuck
- 25:01Speaker 2: into one of the groups that the Marxists want you
- 25:03Speaker 2: to be stuck in. On other fronts, last week's Snoop
- 25:06Speaker 2: Dogg called Kanye and Uncle Tom, and this week CNN's panel,
- 25:11Speaker 2: which consequently was made up of three or four African Americans,
- 25:15Speaker 2: if I'm not mistaken, led by Don Lemon, called Kanye
- 25:18Speaker 2: a token negro. Take a listen to this, and he's
- 25:21Speaker 2: an attention more like the president.
- 25:23Speaker 4: He's all of a sudden, now the model spokesperson. He's
- 25:27Speaker 4: the token negro of the Trump administration. This is ridiculous.
- 25:31Speaker 2: So if you listen to that, you can see how
- 25:33Speaker 2: the media is using the art of influencing to attack
- 25:37Speaker 2: on the basis of race because he disagrees with them
- 25:40Speaker 2: politically and again, these are the tactics that the left
- 25:43Speaker 2: uses over and over and over again. If you disagree,
- 25:46Speaker 2: we will label you with something that would make you
- 25:49Speaker 2: morally inferior. We'll call you a racist, We'll call you
- 25:53Speaker 2: a rapist, a sexist, misogynist, to pit you against the
- 25:56Speaker 2: rest of society. Because it doesn't matter what you think.
- 26:00Speaker 2: If you think those things, somehow I'm morally superior to you,
- 26:04Speaker 2: and you're morally inferior because you disagree with me, you're
- 26:08Speaker 2: the enemy. This is the effect that Marxism is having,
- 26:11Speaker 2: and it's crept into our colleges, it's crept into our media,
- 26:14Speaker 2: it's crept into many institutions in our country. In order
- 26:17Speaker 2: to stop it, we must be able to recognize it
- 26:20Speaker 2: so we can root it out and be Aware and
- 26:22Speaker 2: switching gears to our a list on Americanism section and
- 26:27Speaker 2: switching gears to our a list on how Five years
- 26:30Speaker 2: ago I used to write a column in the Washington
- 26:32Speaker 2: Times called the A List on Americanism and it started
- 26:34Speaker 2: out as a look at the political activity of folks
- 26:37Speaker 2: in Hollywood and a list celebrities, and it kind of
- 26:40Speaker 2: evolved and I ended up writing about a lot of
- 26:42Speaker 2: different topics. But I wanted to have a segment on
- 26:48Speaker 2: This is America where we kind of covered that and
- 26:51Speaker 2: kind of give an update on Kanye since he's been
- 26:53Speaker 2: making so many headlines lately and he's really a lot
- 26:55Speaker 2: of fun to talk about. So, as I mentioned, he's
- 26:57Speaker 2: being chastised by the left because he's decided to disagree
- 27:00Speaker 2: with him, so they've called him a racist. But what
- 27:03Speaker 2: makes it more interesting is Taylor Swift also chimed in
- 27:06Speaker 2: on women in politics, and she did that to support
- 27:10Speaker 2: women in politics by endorsing two men, two men running
- 27:14Speaker 2: on the Democratic platform. So it's reported that registration goes up.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Put interestingly, the poll numbers for the Republicans also went up.
- 27:25Speaker 2: Isn't that interesting? I say it all the time, either
- 27:28Speaker 2: you love America or you don't. Either you love liberty
- 27:32Speaker 2: or you don't. If you don't stand for anything, you'll
- 27:35Speaker 2: fall for everything. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
- 27:38Speaker 2: I'm Rich Valdez and this is America.
- 27:41Speaker 4: This is America.
- 27:53Speaker 1: In times like these, it's so important that we focus
- 27:55Speaker 1: on the facts. I always tell you to focus on
- 27:58Speaker 1: the facts. I think you hear that everywhere you go
- 27:59Speaker 1: in and that's because facts are irrefutable. It's the bottom line,
- 28:04Speaker 1: it's the real dealing. In times like this of uncertainty,
- 28:06Speaker 1: we need to rely on the facts. I get my
- 28:08Speaker 1: facts from just facts dot Com.
- 28:10Speaker 2: That's f a c T s. Just facts dot Com.
