- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, hello, yeah.
- 0:01Speaker 2: What, Yes, it's that time innovative radio feature. We invented
- 0:06Speaker 2: this and sort of gave rise to talk radio. Yep,
- 0:09Speaker 2: and uh and boy are we sorry for that?
- 0:12Speaker 3: Well, but we still you know, so many places don't
- 0:15Speaker 3: do it really anymore. They they pre record calls, they
- 0:19Speaker 3: have actors call we this, we're flying by the seat
- 0:23Speaker 3: of our pants here.
- 0:23Speaker 4: It's whatever you want to say on the radio.
- 0:26Speaker 3: Right now, we're working without a net eight seven seven six.
- 0:30Speaker 1: It's really a stupid thing for us to do. Yeah,
- 0:34Speaker 1: all right, well let's start with CJ. Hi, CJ.
- 0:36Speaker 5: Hello, Yeah, what.
- 0:39Speaker 6: Hey, my lords and ladies. I was summoned this morning.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Yes, so I went to see Drunk Shakespeare in Chicago.
- 0:48Speaker 2: And I know that, I know there are several drunk
- 0:51Speaker 2: Shakespeare companies around the country. You do something that's not
- 0:56Speaker 2: drunk Shakespeare.
- 0:57Speaker 6: Right, No, it's very very different.
- 1:01Speaker 1: It is drunk n Shakespeare.
- 1:04Speaker 2: And how does it sound? How does it differ other
- 1:09Speaker 2: than the name, so you don't get sued?
- 1:12Speaker 6: Yeah, absolutely so, as I stated, I also went to Chicago,
- 1:17Speaker 6: not drunk Shakespeare. And you mentioned that they basically really
- 1:21Speaker 6: just do like the famous monologue, you know, the more
- 1:25Speaker 6: well known scenes and then it's just kind of like
- 1:27Speaker 6: Shenanigans in between, like super fun yeah yeah, and they
- 1:33Speaker 6: take five shots. One actor takes five shots at the beginning.
- 1:37Speaker 7: Of the show.
- 1:38Speaker 6: So how ours is. Our entire cast comes out on
- 1:42Speaker 6: stage and we all shot gun a beer at the
- 1:45Speaker 6: beginning of the show, and then we start doing the
- 1:49Speaker 6: actual play. We we do all the words, and we're
- 1:53Speaker 6: drinking throughout the first half, and then during the second half,
- 1:57Speaker 6: our audience members can done to our company, which is
- 2:02Speaker 6: Mad King Productions. They donate under the name of an
- 2:07Speaker 6: actor and in real time they will see a drink
- 2:11Speaker 6: come out to that actor on stage and they to
- 2:14Speaker 6: incorporate that into the show.
- 2:17Speaker 4: They target people.
- 2:18Speaker 2: Now, do you get through a whole whole play. You
- 2:20Speaker 2: probably can't get through a whole play.
- 2:23Speaker 6: We we do, but we also shorten our show so
- 2:26Speaker 6: we do edit it are like the first half. So
- 2:29Speaker 6: we are currently doing The Tempest. We open on June thirteenth,
- 2:34Speaker 6: and our first half of the show is about forty
- 2:37Speaker 6: five minutes. Second half of the show is about another
- 2:39Speaker 6: forty minutes. It goes very very quickly, especially because as
- 2:44Speaker 6: we do start imbibing, we just kind of want to
- 2:47Speaker 6: get through with the show and we just is there.
- 2:50Speaker 1: Is there any ad libbing or do you stick to
- 2:52Speaker 1: the script?
- 2:53Speaker 6: Oh no, there's a lot of ad living. We also
- 2:56Speaker 6: try to modernize the language to help the audience understan
- 3:00Speaker 6: Dan what exactly is going on?
- 3:02Speaker 2: If people want to get tickets for Drunken Shakespeare, how

- 5:56Speaker 1: What it was called and it's.
- 5:58Speaker 11: Called and it's on ninth and ninth, ninth thirty two,
- 6:03Speaker 11: nine hundred south and it's actually Greek yogurt. They're all
- 6:07Speaker 11: Greek yogurt based, so they're super healthy and very delicious,
- 6:11Speaker 11: lots of protein.
- 6:12Speaker 1: That sounds good. Do you make you make like shakes
- 6:15Speaker 1: and all kinds of stuff?
- 6:16Speaker 10: Yeah, we do.
- 6:17Speaker 11: We do like bowls, which are like smoothies in a

- 6:23Speaker 1: Can you run one over here? We were not that
- 6:24Speaker 1: far away.
- 6:25Speaker 10: Absolutely absolutely love to bring your guy.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Just run one over here.

- 6:34Speaker 10: Yeah, absolutely all right, I would love to do that.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Okay, what's it called again?
- 6:38Speaker 10: Okay, it's called yagu y A G O T ninth and.

- 6:44Speaker 3: Hello?
- 6:45Speaker 10: Yeah? What all right?
- 6:46Speaker 1: Let's go to Brighton?
- 6:48Speaker 6: Hello?
- 6:48Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 6:49Speaker 6: What?
- 6:49Speaker 1: He keep watching the door for the yogurt?

- 7:01Speaker 5: Wanted to call and tell everyone that the new video
- 7:04Speaker 5: game Doom Dark Ages is well worth the download.
- 7:08Speaker 3: That's what we had jd Are, our video game expert,
- 7:12Speaker 3: on last week, and he was saying the same thing.
- 7:16Speaker 5: That is the reason why I downloaded the game was
- 7:19Speaker 5: because of him and give it.
- 7:20Speaker 4: A glowing review. And you and you support that.
- 7:23Speaker 1: Now you okay?
- 7:25Speaker 10: All right?
- 7:25Speaker 5: Absolutely?
- 7:26Speaker 2: So how when do you when do you think when
- 7:28Speaker 2: do you think you'll be coming out of your mom's basement?
- 7:32Speaker 5: Uh, it's going to be a while, Bill, his game's
- 7:35Speaker 5: pretty good.
- 7:37Speaker 4: You stand by that. Don't let Bill make you feel
- 7:39Speaker 4: bad for.
- 7:39Speaker 1: Having I'm just asking a question.
- 7:43Speaker 5: I might get my mom to play it.
- 7:45Speaker 8: There you go, Mom, come on we're supposed to be
- 7:49Speaker 8: working together.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Try God, Mom, stop killing me.
- 7:54Speaker 5: Wonderful. I hope you all have a great day.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Thanks Braden. All right, let's go to Jason. Yeah, what Jason, Jason, Jason,
- 8:03Speaker 1: what's up?
- 8:04Speaker 10: Hello?
- 8:06Speaker 9: I am still glad to call again. It's been a minute,
- 8:08Speaker 9: but I just wanted to let you guys know that
- 8:11Speaker 9: there's another card show and memorabilia at the Southtown Mall
- 8:15Speaker 9: hosted by the Ross Roads Memorabilia. So it's going to
- 8:21Speaker 9: be a lot of fun.
- 8:22Speaker 12: And I'm going to be there as de Papa JJ
- 8:25Speaker 12: and I'm bringing a lot of vintage Pokemon cards and
- 8:29Speaker 12: I'll even be giving some original promos away.
- 8:32Speaker 9: Well, just kind of celebrated.
- 8:34Speaker 1: That does sound like a lot of fun. It is,
- 8:40Speaker 1: It is, okay, And.
- 8:41Speaker 9: I'm still waiting for you to bring your Star Trek cards,
- 8:44Speaker 9: just to just to bring them.
- 8:45Speaker 1: Oh oh okay, I just to show them off.
- 8:48Speaker 8: Just they're They're on my desk right now, so you
- 8:52Speaker 8: can swing by and pick them up.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So is that what you do with a show like this?
- 8:55Speaker 2: People will just bring stuff and show it off and
- 8:58Speaker 2: then take it back.
- 9:00Speaker 9: So you can bring your cards and you can bring
- 9:02Speaker 9: him to show them off and trade them and sell them.
- 9:06Speaker 9: So there's a lot of vendors, including myself. We'll be buying,
- 9:09Speaker 9: we'll be selling, and we'll be doing trades for what
- 9:13Speaker 9: you have and what we have.
- 9:14Speaker 10: It's a really great way to.
- 9:16Speaker 9: You know, keep the hobby going and make it a
- 9:18Speaker 9: positive environment, especially for the kids.
- 9:21Speaker 2: And and and as you said, it'll be a lot
- 9:24Speaker 2: of fun.
- 9:26Speaker 5: It will, it will.
- 9:27Speaker 10: It's just a really great place, great community.
- 9:31Speaker 1: So all right, thank you.
- 9:33Speaker 8: I remember, don't waste your charizard, he got it.
- 9:41Speaker 10: I don't like that, all right, Jason, thank you?
- 9:44Speaker 1: And yeah, wow, it looks really good. Is he almost here?
- 9:49Speaker 1: He's not even close to rush out of the store.
- 9:55Speaker 10: Is it?
- 9:56Speaker 4: Is it bad that I will do a frozen yogurt
- 9:59Speaker 4: but like a regular yogurt?
- 10:00Speaker 2: Yes, I mean it's it's hypocritical because frozen yogurt it's
- 10:05Speaker 2: almost ice cream.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Really it really, Yeah, it's I.
- 10:09Speaker 4: Don't think it.
- 10:09Speaker 3: What I'm saying is I don't think it counts as you.
- 10:12Speaker 2: You don't you know how much butter and eggs are
- 10:14Speaker 2: in ice cream and you don't eat eggs.
- 10:17Speaker 1: That's true.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I eat eggs like mixed in things. I just don't
- 10:21Speaker 3: eat eggs. Like, here's a plate of eggs. I don't
- 10:24Speaker 3: eat that.
- 10:25Speaker 4: But if you.
- 10:27Speaker 8: Lang refers to it as sad ice cream.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It's no, it's I mean, it's different. It's uh, it's yeah.
- 10:35Speaker 2: It's got its own textures, and it's usually sort of tangy,
- 10:38Speaker 2: which is good.
- 10:39Speaker 4: That's the thing that's my problem with.
- 10:41Speaker 1: It is the tang. Well, frozen yogurt is a little
- 10:44Speaker 1: tange a little bit.
- 10:45Speaker 3: But if they'll put a bunch of crushed up oreos
- 10:47Speaker 3: on it, you can't taste it.
- 10:48Speaker 1: Well, you can put it.
- 10:49Speaker 2: If you just get some nice yogurt and mix honey
- 10:52Speaker 2: in with it, it's it's delicious. Maybe put a few
- 10:55Speaker 2: blueberries as carry set or or raisin. I like raisins is.
- 10:59Speaker 1: What we do.
- 11:00Speaker 8: As we just get regular Greek yogurt, yeh, drizzle honey
- 11:02Speaker 8: on it, blueberries, pecans.
- 11:05Speaker 3: I know it's good for you mix it up. It's
- 11:07Speaker 3: but that's usually not a selling point for me.
- 11:09Speaker 8: Frozen yogurt is not made from yogurt. According to a
- 11:13Speaker 8: texture eggs, it's nothing but eggs.
- 11:15Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 11:16Speaker 3: That's probably why it's not yogurt at all.
- 11:22Speaker 4: So apparently, why do they call it yogurt.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Because it's not call ice cream that you can get
- 11:27Speaker 3: at certain restaurants ice cream.
- 11:29Speaker 4: When you do not ice.
- 11:30Speaker 1: Cream, what what do you mean you get.
- 11:35Speaker 3: At fast food places? A lot of the places where
- 11:38Speaker 3: you get ice cream or shakes, well they don't not
- 11:42Speaker 3: ice cream.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Well they don't say it's ice cream.
- 11:45Speaker 4: They say it's a it's a shake.
- 11:47Speaker 2: It's not a milkshake because there's no milk in it.
- 11:50Speaker 1: It's gel. Listen, I'm not discriminating. I'll eat it all. Sure,
- 11:54Speaker 1: I will do whatever you're offering. I'll take it. We
- 11:58Speaker 1: need the guy to call back.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Bill's really, let's send Nick down there.
- 12:03Speaker 2: Well, no, I mean not to get maybe he can't
- 12:05Speaker 2: get to the phone because he's on his way here.
- 12:07Speaker 3: Yeah, we need to send Nick down there to get
- 12:10Speaker 3: him on a regular customer, Yes, so that we have
- 12:12Speaker 3: a regular supply.
- 12:15Speaker 8: Gina has bigger problems though, with this whole little house
- 12:18Speaker 8: on the prairie thing.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Oh can I talk about this now? I was going
- 12:21Speaker 4: to give it to Bill to be a boner candidate.
- 12:23Speaker 1: Well, okay, you got a minute if you want to.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Well, so the headline I saw, I don't want to
- 12:27Speaker 2: make it a boner candidate.
- 12:29Speaker 1: This is your beef.
- 12:30Speaker 4: I got excited.
- 12:32Speaker 3: Here's the headline, Little House on the Prairie reboot. Everything
- 12:35Speaker 3: we know about the Netflix series. I've been very excited.
- 12:40Speaker 3: I want to know everything about the new series. The
- 12:44Speaker 3: Ingles Family is back with more adventures in the American Midwest,
- 12:47Speaker 3: with a fresh adaptation of the Little House on the Prairie.
- 12:50Speaker 3: Rather than reboot of the timeless original series portrayed growing
- 12:54Speaker 3: up in the nineteenth century, We're flashing forward to family
- 12:58Speaker 3: life in the twenty first century.
- 13:00Speaker 1: Here.
- 13:00Speaker 3: This is what will make it work modern day.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Here. No, here's what they're gonna do.
- 13:06Speaker 2: They're gonna have like the Ingles family, dressed exactly like they.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Were on the original series.
- 13:11Speaker 2: Ye living in a shack some place in a city
- 13:14Speaker 2: is like a macon bread and.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Chern and butter and yeah. Yeah, Because that doesn't sound
- 13:21Speaker 1: like Little House on the Prairie.
- 13:23Speaker 4: I am I'm not. I'm not putting this on for
- 13:27Speaker 4: the radio. I'm very upset about this.
- 13:30Speaker 2: There's still prairie. There can be a Little House on
- 13:33Speaker 2: the Prairie.
- 13:34Speaker 3: I wanted horses, and I wanted the mercantile, and I
- 13:39Speaker 3: wanted well.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Maybe there will be horses.
- 13:41Speaker 8: Why don't they have faith in doing the show exactly?
- 13:45Speaker 2: Why is that Ingles family riding horses everywhere they could
- 13:48Speaker 2: have a car.
- 13:49Speaker 3: This says I fell deeply in love with these books
- 13:51Speaker 3: when I was five years old.
- 13:52Speaker 4: They inspired me to.
- 13:53Speaker 3: Become a filmmaker, and I'm honored and thrilled to be
- 13:56Speaker 3: adapting these stories for a new global audience with Netflix.
- 13:59Speaker 1: That sounds lovely, No it doesn't.
- 14:03Speaker 4: This is the thing.
- 14:03Speaker 3: You could talk how many cowboy Western period shows.
- 14:10Speaker 4: It's not like they're not here.
- 14:11Speaker 1: Did you ever read the books?
- 14:13Speaker 2: Yes, well, then why weren't you outraged about how they
- 14:16Speaker 2: messed with the books?
- 14:17Speaker 4: I've loved everything.
- 14:19Speaker 2: Because in the in the books, Paul was couldn't keep
- 14:22Speaker 2: a job, dragged his family all over the place, kept
- 14:25Speaker 2: him poor.
- 14:27Speaker 4: They didn't keep him poor on purpose.
- 14:29Speaker 1: Because he never would buckle down and do anything.
- 14:32Speaker 3: Little House in the Prairie Bill is based on that
- 14:35Speaker 3: basically one. It doesn't have all of the books in it.
- 14:38Speaker 3: It's a snapshot. And it's not all of the books
- 14:42Speaker 3: are represented in the TV show.
- 14:44Speaker 1: Well, it's not that.
- 14:45Speaker 2: They don't represent it accurately. And and and Michael Landon
- 14:49Speaker 2: looked like a hippie. He didn't look he didn't look
- 14:52Speaker 2: like Pauw on the Prairie.
- 14:55Speaker 1: He was hippie.
- 14:58Speaker 4: I and.
- 15:02Speaker 12: I don't.
- 15:04Speaker 4: I normally try to be more show me what.
- 15:07Speaker 8: You got, but this is not what you signed up for,
- 15:11Speaker 8: and you's not what they signed up for either.
- 15:14Speaker 3: You could totally do a reboot of the old timey.
- 15:19Speaker 2: White but it's all They've already done it. He wants
- 15:22Speaker 2: to do something different.
- 15:22Speaker 8: But that show sounds like old shows that's already been done.
- 15:26Speaker 4: He just called Little House on the Prairie.
- 15:28Speaker 1: Well, you know you don't he hasn't.
- 15:31Speaker 2: He didn't say much about it, like what he's going
- 15:34Speaker 2: to do with.
- 15:34Speaker 3: It, it's gonna be like a c W show, or
- 15:39Speaker 3: that's what it sounds like.
- 15:41Speaker 4: I think what he's no Nellie Olsen is the mean girl.
- 15:44Speaker 2: I think what he's going to do is he's going
- 15:47Speaker 2: to these are these are the same characters and there
- 15:49Speaker 2: all of a sudden time traveled into the future.
- 15:52Speaker 3: I won't mash the figure it out because I would
- 15:57Speaker 3: love to be proven wrong about this.
- 16:00Speaker 8: Is not what I doesn't sound like, doesn't sound like
- 16:02Speaker 8: the show.
- 16:03Speaker 1: All right, Well there you go, that's your Hell yeah,
- 16:07Speaker 1: what
