- 0:01[SPEAKER_01]: The bucks are almost a week away from training camp and in this episode, we are going to predict who is going to be the starting line up both offensively and defensively for the buck in years.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: We're also going to talk about some depth behind those guys as well.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_01]: Also, too, Whitebox fans shouldn't be mad about the most recent rankings of the buck's wider sewers.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_01]: Then of them were ranked upon the NFL executives, speaking on them, and also too,
- 0:33[SPEAKER_01]: mentioned.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_01]: My heavens, though, got one.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll discuss that, but why you should not be worried about that.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: Also, to Leshan McCoy goes off on Baker Mayfield regarding some of the clips that have been coming out from the Netflix documentary of Baker Mayfield talking some trash on the
- 0:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure we'll hear from Baker and get his thoughts on Lashon McCoy's comments in training camp, but still we will talk about that also too at the very end of this and Mike Evans know that he was leaving the fucking ears at the end of the 2025 season we've got a video from
- 1:19[SPEAKER_01]: the game coming up for the race but with me this beautiful Monday afternoon in the bay is Caleb Skinner, our veteran writer at bucksgiving.com and all the other side is our lead editor for wells like I said gentlemen almost a week from training camp.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like it's been taken forever but we're so close.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_02]: Oh it has.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_02]: Oh it has.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_02]: We're this close.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_02]: We can feel it.
- 1:40[SPEAKER_02]: We can feel it in the air.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, engine closer.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_00]: So happy that we're from here with the world cup that, you know, kind of took our attention away from things.
- 1:50[SPEAKER_02]: I'm going to miss it.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_00]: They're within that space for us.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_00]: So that was kind of great to have.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_00]: Now that's come to the end.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I mean, awesome game going all point down, Argentina can do anything crazy.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_02]: Well, you have as much football going on right now as Argentina had shots on the whole.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_02]: That's zero football.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_00]: There's crazy dude up until like that extra time.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: So it was awesome to see, you know, kind of grind it out match to see find it pulled through Spain.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_00]: So really cool to see.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's on their second one ever and it is great to for a good day, but
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: And then my Red Sox got a sweep over the race.
- 2:25[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry guys for the race fans, but 13 in a row.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_02]: There was some controversy about the Red Sox had in the comments section of the last video.
- 2:34[SPEAKER_02]: So guys listen, if you're in the comments, we want to make it clear here at Bugs Game Day.
- 2:39[SPEAKER_02]: If you're going after one of our writers, keep doing it with Caleb.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_02]: Awesome.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_02]: Keep giving him as much as you can.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_02]: It's ridiculous.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_02]: Look at this.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we are for price fix.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: We are going to go into that upcoming game between the rays and the blue jays So we'll go some love to the rays.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm heading over there later this week or somewhere They're doing where they're giving away the double rays half the first 10,000 it's a Trap so I'm gonna make the walk over there Get inside there for some baseball before we do begin camp next Wednesday, which all of us on here
- 3:17[SPEAKER_01]: Sean McCoy going after Baker.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_01]: We're just in the dead part of the office and people are trying to get clicks They're trying to get viewership
- 3:23[SPEAKER_01]: We're just ready to get out there and actually start reporting on some real things happening in practices.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, a lot of you guys are over here and the chat appreciates you.
- 3:32[SPEAKER_01]: Hope you had a great weekend.
- 3:34[SPEAKER_01]: Literally rainy one down here.
- 3:35[SPEAKER_01]: We had like a mini truffle storm.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, it was.
- 3:37[SPEAKER_01]: That was ridiculous, remember?
- 3:39[SPEAKER_01]: Like it was non-stop rain, lightning thunder.
- 3:43[SPEAKER_01]: It was much needed.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_01]: We definitely need some rain.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: But it's gonna be beautiful right now in the 80s.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_01]: We're in the 80s at the 180, four degrees here
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: But let's go and get started with
- 4:00[SPEAKER_01]: up the box, who is going to open up and that's starting line up in training camp and offensively defensively will go through all of these right here and we'll talk some depth as well because there are some storylines going into this.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_01]: But I say we go with offense and I don't think outside of maybe where we're going to talk about some wider severs who maybe could jump in there and such in the running back room.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: There is a whole lot of like surprises.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe some things will happen in training camp you never know
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: to the battle the watch though is going to be Jalen Daniels and Connor Bayes lack and I'm going specifically to your article here wherever where you wrote you know Jalen Daniels is going to beat out you know like it going into training was not even like a battle during training camp you're predicting that Jalen Daniels starts off training camp as QB3.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_02]: Um, you know, we've seen Jayland Daniels get more reps, I think, over, uh, OTAs and mandatory Medicare.
- 5:05[SPEAKER_02]: I know you've seen that Logan as well being there at one book in airplanes, so I do think he has at least the upper hand going into training camp.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_02]: So that's kind of why I put him there.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like that's going to be the case.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_02]: maybe the reps will even out at training camp despite that not being the case previously in the offseason and that could be something to watch as well Maybe they want to give base a few more looks, but I've talked about as a lot overall.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_02]: I think you know Daniels offers a lot more of the scout team quarterback.
- 5:32[SPEAKER_02]: I think his mobile has he is he's got a lot of a higher ceiling than the then base like those Bayes like we'd play with well Get it done there and he's done good at that and they're impressed with him when he filled in from Michael Pratt But I think Daniels offers more for Tampa Bay so I imagine that's where he'll be
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: We have adds up, um, I think that was pretty, you know, shutting clothes under the then third quarterback battle, um, I agree with River and how everything's kind of led up to this point, leading into training camp.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: I think you'll kind of enter with a little bit more of a of the splits, you know, snaps or whatever it looks.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_00]: They're getting in training camp between Bayes Lack and Jayle Daniels, but I think ultimately they're happy with where Daniels is in his progression and his development from the collegiate side of things into the professional level.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_00]: It's still going to take time, obviously, and that,
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: But they're happy with where things are, and he's going to provide a little bit more of a dynamic skill set there at the quarterback room with how the NFL position of quarterback has gone and kind of fits more and to what's next, you know, if, you know, you need to bake a backup for baker or, you know, whenever baker does end up, you know, leaving the time for baking here.
- 6:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I think this is kind of where things are leading and where things stand as we have in the training camp.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think that energy to the Jill and Daniels brings is something that I believe, you know, Todd Bowles really likes and, you know, we'll see what Zach Robinson wants to do with Jill and Daniels how many opportunities.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to get taking those shots.
- 6:49[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, Caleb, you talked about it.
- 6:50[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was like last month or something.
- 6:51[SPEAKER_01]: I thought it was a good point when you said, you know, Dylan, Daniel, he was going to take care of the ball and everything and that's something that any rookie quarterback has to do.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: Certainly, I got an undrafted guy.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_01]: But you also want to see him take those shots.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: Why not?
- 7:03[SPEAKER_01]: We know your legs.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: He's got the great legs there.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: He's something that
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: pocket collapses and he needs to make something out of nothing.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: Jill and Daniels gives you that aspect but also to let's see him develop as a passer and I think that's why you know we would see maybe Jill and Daniels be that QB3 guide to begin training camp and you know river you're right it is getting a lot of opportunities throughout these offseason program practices when we're out there forward so yeah we'll be interesting to see let's move over to the back field still and let's go to the running back
- 7:38[SPEAKER_01]: right here, Bucky, I mean this has been the main conversation because we haven't seen a whole ton of buck here, and he's been limited all throughout the off season.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_01]: There was a recent interview with him where he just had his camp with the youth, and he did confirm that he is going to be a full go for training camp, which is great news.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_01]: Bucky near his fan, that's huge and massive because this is running back room, I think.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_01]: Zach Robinson is just
- 8:03[SPEAKER_01]: that talent there.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_01]: But who was going to be that starting guy once we get out there?
- 8:08[SPEAKER_01]: Because we saw a ton of Kenny Gainwell just because we didn't see Bucky Ralph there.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_01]: But I think there's even more of a conversation that, you know, Kenny Gainwell could be an eventual starter for you.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_01]: In this season, now at the beginning, training came that's a different conversation, but right here in this piece for you, River and I'm interested to see if Caleb agrees, Bucky Irving gives the start.
- 8:29[SPEAKER_01]: training camp then it goes to Kenny Gainwell and of course Sean Tucker with a Bucks brought back this offseason.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah and I mentioned it in the article as well the depth of article there.
- 8:39[SPEAKER_02]: I would not be surprised one bit if Kenny Gainwell took a 60-40 sort of thing with bucky Irving.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_02]: I think it'll pretty much start 50-50.
- 8:49[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of like they did with Rashad White in in years pass, especially towards the end of 2024 in the beginning You know, it's always like I've so I definitely think that that's possibility But for right now Irvings the incumbent he seems like it's healthy.
- 9:01[SPEAKER_02]: I wrote a piece four bucks game day on his recent comments there So you can go check that out at books game day, but seems like he's healthy and if he is he's an explosive playmaker You can catch you can run great ball carrier vision really evasive
- 9:15[SPEAKER_02]: and can he game was kind of the same type of player right so I think you know what can he game was put on tape maybe hasn't been out electrifying it's the heights of buckierving but he's definitely super consistent he's in a lot of great order can fill it out via an and Pittsburgh so wouldn't be surprised that the veteran kind of starts creeping in getting some more reps and he started to see his 60 40s foot kind of with with with game well in Irving
- 9:38[SPEAKER_02]: because Irving might work really well with a supplementary back, kind of like Alhamkumara has played for with the New Orleans Saints and the previous, you know, iterations and years.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_02]: And he could work well with that role.
- 9:48[SPEAKER_02]: And of course guys, Irving could maintain his claim and starter.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_02]: He could be more comfortable with more reps now.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_02]: He's healthy and he could still take the brunt of the war.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see that Zach Robinson's plan is, but I wouldn't be surprised.
- 10:01[SPEAKER_02]: So it'll be interesting to see, but for right now, going into training camp Irving's the incumbent, I give it to him.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's interesting coming from the most recent reports comments from Buckingham Self.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: He believes he'll be ready for, you know, training camp and start a training camp.
- 10:14[SPEAKER_00]: Believe this isn't giving me much confidence and understanding where that folder necessarily is right now, even after the surgery.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: So, it kind of makes me waver a little bit on this scenario who's going to be the starter who's not, because like a bucky's not 100% are you going to be ready to throw him out there?
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: At the start of the season when ultimately you got to remember this is a 17-game schedule and you could need his services at, you know, any point obviously, but as the schedule continues to unfold and you're in the mix of things so on and so forth, you're going to want that extra, you know, guide in their healthy.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 10:47[SPEAKER_00]: They might take it easy here to begin the season when it comes to buckier, when we're seeing them on the field and returns to the field, which is great.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_00]: But where is he exactly?
- 10:54[SPEAKER_00]: We're not going to get those answers ultimately, which we'd really never have from our side of things until, you know, a game time, or whatever.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: What have taught him?
- 11:02[SPEAKER_01]: He'll give you a whole lot.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_00]: Everything's closer to the best, right?
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: And that's kind of how they've always operated, but I think I think a Bryce Pat and here appreciate you hopping in here as always my guy.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, as he says, I think you label him as co-starters I don't think you really pick one one one way or you could look at matchup bases as well even though they are a very similar skill sets
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: but it's not going to really matter one way or another.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Whoever is labeled starter, they're both going to get split carries.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_00]: They're both going to see that action.
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: You might see game will get a lot more of that action early on in this season.
- 11:32[SPEAKER_00]: And then as the season unfolds kind of see Bucky trickled in kind of like his rookie season when her shot was getting the majority of those carries early.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: And then once they were able to see what Bucky was able to provide to the team and how he explodes if he wasn't creating those big plays.
- 11:46[SPEAKER_00]: I think that's kind of a similar situation that we'll see now especially with that shoulder and coming off of it Just take it slow with him.
- 11:51[SPEAKER_00]: You don't want to push him too fast too hard So I think that's where I reside in this and then also Sean Tucker.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: I love Sean Tucker.
- 11:58[SPEAKER_00]: What he's able to provide as an explosive big play hitter himself Obviously he's the work on that whose goal line carries of short yarders carries if he wants to be that type of backward that box want him to be that type of back
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but I do like him.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_00]: I do like what he's able to provide.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: I think the bucks were able to get him on a steal.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_00]: Um, this is off season as well.
- 12:14[SPEAKER_00]: Being able to, you know, keep him as restricted for agent.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, I like where they stand and every three back, feel, hopefully everybody is able to stay healthy.
- 12:21[SPEAKER_00]: But, um, it's a three-headed monster once again.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_00]: And I think you even get an upgrade with game well over Rashad White.
- 12:26[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_02]: Big time.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're kind of getting up.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_01]: Coming from the Steelers being their player of the year over there is a really nice snack from Jason Lamp and company in the front office.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_01]: Now let's move over to the wider receiver room.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: This one is maybe not so interesting at the beginning of training camp, but I think it will be discussion whenever we may have you a value way and see how the dev chart has changed.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: But going to the exposition will start off there and think you have Jail McMillan there as a
- 12:59[SPEAKER_01]: and make a akuka at that sea position, and then also two could also put McMillan there as well.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_01]: the swiders who were going into training camp.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: He was the most consistent guy.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_01]: It was reliable with Baker, maybe on any, of course, he was one of your biggest leaders on this team overall.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: Not just for that wide receiver room, but he was the guy leading the charge before practices began, giving a little bit of pump-up speeches and all that kind of stuff.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, that's a solidified starter for you, but things get a little bit of interesting whenever you're talking about the exposition.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_01]: If you have Ted Hurts can jump in and get into a road team, I don't think that happens going into training.
- 13:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think the Z and the X are kind of really fluid right now for Tempe Bay.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_02]: You could have a look at Older Jailment Millen play either of those positions in Zack Robinson's offense, but Zack Robinson has mentioned to us, hey, Buka is the quintessential ZU, what I'd receive, right?
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: That's what we want there.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_02]: So who's going to be a wirety for one depends on who bigger mate, he'll trust the middle, listen to the offense kind of oscillates through.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm thinking that X and Z is going to flip between the millen and the Buka.
- 14:11[SPEAKER_02]: Like we've got some comments here mentioning Ted Harris is going to be the ex-factor here Pardon the pun actually you know what don't part of the pun.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's a great pun He could end up playing that ex position
- 14:26[SPEAKER_02]: And that would give you a lot more leeway and sort of variability with Mill and Booka.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_02]: And if he could come along fast in the books, probably think he can, that would be huge for them, right?
- 14:35[SPEAKER_02]: Because he's that big body to X-Y-C, or very fast.
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: He can get separation.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_02]: Maybe in the red zone with his frame, he can be a viable option there.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_02]: If he can learn to get a little bit better at the catch point, that's something that he kind of struggled with at Georgia State.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_02]: But that could be huge for them.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's what they want.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_02]: So we'll see if that ends up happening.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_02]: And I got a book up playing on the outside.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_02]: The has to kind of improve from last year.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_02]: You guys go to the wonderful Josh Capos Twitter.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_02]: You works a peer report film guy.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_02]: There's a few examples of on his Twitter if a book of face and off against.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_02]: 180-pound Kobe Bryant getting shoved down a lot of scrimmage, right?
- 15:11[SPEAKER_02]: His contact and his press, he's a little bit of work, so that's a concern for that sort of outside position, but he's a great spacefinder, he's going to year two, he's preparing for the first time, instead of having to go through all that national championship nonsense, you know, during college, we had to do that and immediately go to the combine and immediately start testing, doing visits.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_02]: So it'll be interesting how this room shapes up.
- 15:33[SPEAKER_02]: I think they'll want to hers to take that expot pretty immediately, but I don't know if that's what's going to happen right away.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think it's a, as Steven A likes to say, a fluid situation here, um, you know, got out your guy.
- 15:47[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but it's pretty much like that across the board when you're looking at the skill positions for the box, excluding potentially, you know, the tight end position.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_00]: Right, like it doesn't matter really who's in there or where they're at, as long as you're able to utilize them in the way that we just success and is a
- 16:01[SPEAKER_00]: would have moved the ball consistently.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to have a problem with who's where, right?
- 16:05[SPEAKER_00]: But I agree with River, I think that XE spot right now is Jalen and Megad.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to slide Chris into that slot role where he's been extremely productive throughout his whole entire career.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we know he can also be produced.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: producing from the outside position, but he is very comfortable and that slot knows it.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it fits his skill set perfectly for a guy who knows how to find holes in a defense.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: So, and so forth, be able to utilize his size and his speed in different ways, depending on who's matching up against him.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_00]: So, that's going to create leverage for those guys on the outside.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_00]: Now, whether Mecca is going to be able to take that jump into that number one, why we're seeing where that the buck and ears are hoping that he will be.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_00]: To be determined, he had a very strong rookie season and is expected to grow on to that, obviously.
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: you were pointed out wherever he does have some things that he needs to work on.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_00]: Jalen hurt last year.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_00]: We didn't really get the C. He's second year as much as we want to.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_00]: If he's able to show what he did when he did come back and at during his rookie year, then there's going to be a lot happening where it's not really matter who is buck buck and years lighter, silver one, right?
- 17:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's not going to matter who's buying the X, who's buying the Z, so on and so forth.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of different formulaes are going to be in work here.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_00]: For the Buccaneers and Zach Robinson as a whole, Ted's hers, Ted hers, excuse me, he's gonna have probably the most potential to kind of crack this line up really because of his size, right?
- 17:23[SPEAKER_00]: That red zone threat, if he's able to latch on to the size, the speed of the NFL relatively quickly and be able to stick to his fundamental.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_00]: while we still are waiting for the development of Ted Hers, he will have the opportunity to do so.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'd expect a lot more, I think I've said this in the past.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: There's going to be a lot more for, you know, why receiver sets here because of the amount of weapons you have, whether that even you could throw out a Kenny game role in the slot or so on, so forth.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: So there's going to be multiple things that Zach Robinson's able to do with this whiter-saver group, Ted's Johnson will probably be utilizing a multitude of different benefits as well, you know, coming over emotions, things of that nature getting in and some chips as long as he's got a little bit bigger.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_00]: Um, he kind of helped in that area.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: If this one has some work, I saw him post on Instagram, Tez is put on a little bit of size.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he looks good and Tez is put.
- 18:09[SPEAKER_01]: He's and he looked great.
- 18:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he was one consistently river that we were talking about.
- 18:14[SPEAKER_01]: And all of us on the show, a guy that did the students making plays.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he, he will take time to get start at the end of mandatory mini kit.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to cut you off their cable.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_01]: But,
- 18:24[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's one that, you know, we're kind of starting line up and everything, but Taz is going to be very hard for Zach Robinson to take off the field in 2026.
- 18:32[SPEAKER_00]: No, absolutely.
- 18:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't mind you cutting me off.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_00]: Dude, that's, you know, the person's stuff to get out there to the viewers.
- 18:37[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, that's, that's awesome.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: Um, but you have, you have guys that you're pretty much too deep.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, if you want to throw on camera Johnson in there, you're almost too deep on your white receiver unit, which is kind of crazy to say, right?
- 18:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like, not a lot of teams can say this.
- 18:49[SPEAKER_00]: And once again, here we are saying the fucking years have a slew of weapons on offense and it's a really good problem to have.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_00]: Now, can everybody stay healthy?
- 18:56[SPEAKER_00]: Can they put it all together?
- 18:57[SPEAKER_00]: Can the play calling be timely and consistent?
- 19:00[SPEAKER_00]: that was lacking last year.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of where the group needs to grow.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_00]: But overall, you're looking really good.
- 19:04[SPEAKER_00]: Does it really matter who's your biopsy group on two or three?
- 19:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, this this room is loaded and that's why we're really excited about getting the training camp.
- 19:13[SPEAKER_01]: As watching these guys go off against, you know, as I am a column and once again, you know, see the growth from Jacob Parish and Benjamin Morrison.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: I did see a comment earlier at the very beginning in this and I promise we are going to get about where you're going to get to that
- 19:29[SPEAKER_01]: and there's a lot more to that I am going to bring up on here on the screen here in just a minute, but I do want to continue to go through.
- 19:34[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get through the rest of this offensive line, and we'll jump through a lot of those questions.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_01]: I appreciate every one of you coming in here, already 30 people and tons of chat messages.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: I can tell the world cup is done, we're almost a week out from training camp.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_01]: This is awesome to have you guys on here on a beautiful Monday afternoon.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: We're trying to get a 25 likes.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: It just helps us go out to more bucks fans and
- 19:54[SPEAKER_01]: questions in the chat and just brings up some good conversations between us and you guys in the chat.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_01]: So appreciate y'all hanging out with us on this Monday.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, let's jump over to the tight end position, Kate on, you have as the starter they're going in the training camp, they'll shock her there, pain, Durham there as tight end at two, co-keep gets in that tight end three spot after suffering that injury last.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_01]: as well.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: And then Devon, you have Dev, or you have Bauer Sharpe actually in here.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: Tied in for because that was a massive one that we kind of discovered throughout.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: It was at OTAs when Devon called got injured in the first OTAs practice.
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: And then you started to see, and all right, well, let's see what Bauer Sharp.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think I specifically was talking to you, or I was like, let's see what Bauer can take advantage of here, because he's going to get more opportunities and man did he take, but what he didn't jump in, and now it's got to point where, remember, Wells, a box game day, he's got to have taken that spot from a cold going into training camp, but just a quick conversation here in Jins on tight end.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_02]: Truly an illustrious badge of honor for him.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_02]: by Debt chart article, yeah.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_02]: Now, Bauer has looked pretty good, I've thought, and he's going to be that prototypical sort of move tight end, you know, he's not going to be as much of probably a walking threat, but he's looked really athletic, which is why they drafted him, has relative outlook score, which is kind of a combination of traits that great athletic would do for a player you are, throughout the end of Oklahoma.
- 21:27[SPEAKER_02]: off the charts, everybody in the box drafted was this year, so that's no surprise and he's shown it off, right?
- 21:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's made some really good catches, sideline catches leaping grabs, and that's kind of what the box are looking for outside of Devon Colp, who we've seen have some promise and he played a few snaps for Liam Cohen's offense in 2024 and never since then, he hasn't really been able to get back on the field, right?
- 21:49[SPEAKER_02]: And so him being injured,
- 21:51[SPEAKER_02]: Kind of really hurts his chances to make a lasting impression against seven or against bow or sharp.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_02]: I think so Harden me to say that sharp's not leading at the moment right now and then of course everything is is pretty straightforward for the rest of the room Hey, don't in three years 30 million extension Or I guess free agency exception.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_02]: He's he signed this off season.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_02]: He's gonna be the tight end one.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_02]: He takes more snaps than any other tight end league
- 22:15[SPEAKER_02]: And then pain derms got a similar sort of catch-and-block thing going on.
- 22:19[SPEAKER_02]: He's more of a similar archetype to, to, to, to, uh, and so he'll be tied into and then Keith, right as a fallback, can be an extra blocker in jumbo sets, um, crucial special teams guy that bucks did not have last year because he broke his leg pretty early on.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_02]: He'll be back in the fold.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_02]: He'll be useful for Zach Robinson's offense in a big way, I think, especially to see these more 12 personnel, 13 personnel, two tight ends, three tight ends in the field at the same time.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_02]: Co. Keith's going to be a really big part of
- 22:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think you hit the nail right on the head there with this one river, you know, K-Pane is kind of one of those vets to back up that K-Don spot co-keef.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously you're going to have one of Jason White's favorite players on the team as he announces his, you know, a new deal whenever that comes up as he just did this off season.
- 23:03[SPEAKER_00]: Great on special teams have to have on really.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_00]: You could kind of see the slippage there when he was in on the field on the special team.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_00]: So he's he's huge aspect of how that runs and, you know, leads to success there.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_00]: And then I do agree with you.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think right now powers probably get that little head jump on him.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_00]: I've talked about it on past podcast past shows of ours about And being in X quarterback that being a factor the high football IQ being a factor two where that's probably something that might have prohibited that been from getting on the field and understanding
- 23:31[SPEAKER_00]: exactly what hit he is needed to be doing and whatever point it is.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, last year we saw the one big play that led to a touchdown, but other than that, pretty non-existent and see the field much.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I think right now it's probably where you lie one of those guys is going to end up getting cut.
- 23:44[SPEAKER_00]: I think if Devon is the healthy going into training camp or whether really typically it would have produced and show that he has going to play with playbook a little bit more, then we got to true all-out battle for that spot as
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: As of right now, we were so happy talking about them in Coke last year, after this off season like we don't really need a tight end because we still have yet to see what we get from them in Coke, which we're still saying that.
- 24:08[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what you get from an undrafted guy or a late-round guy that you're able to pick.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's kind of like, are they able to catch up or are they able to learn these things quickly enough to see the field?
- 24:18[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, it'll be more of a battle with Devon as healthy if not.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is kind of like one of those
- 24:27[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, blinks in here, binks 28 watch in 28 likes.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: Free and easy how this fella's out.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: They do the work, appreciate you guys.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_01]: If we've already hit 28, that'd be crazy.
- 24:36[SPEAKER_01]: You are absolutely nuts that that already happened.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, just do a quick refresh, just to make sure we can show some love.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: If that's the case, cause good Lord.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's really fun.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_01]: Now we're at 15.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: We're at 15.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_01]: So don't cheer yet, River.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: Don't cheer yet.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's for what it could be.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_01]: It will happen.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_01]: It will happen.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: It definitely will.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_01]: But now, yeah.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: Appreciate you guys.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_01]: Are let's jump over to the offensive line room.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: Let's start off with left tackle.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: Tristan worse.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: starting their Czech Wilma, you've got behind him Ben Czech Wilma, being there and that this staff really like him.
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we got to see him jump in a little bit last year too, as well, when they needed him.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: The staff had one Tristan Worse was hurt there, and so he got some into the rotation, and he also, you got some, also back and up, Lugetti here going into
- 25:29[SPEAKER_01]: back after that injury last year.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:32[SPEAKER_01]: Beanie in the room, they're behind him at center.
- 25:35[SPEAKER_01]: You got Graham Barton and Ben Brettison who can jump over this over there to center as we know to back a Barton if need be and then Cody Malk is back.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I keep saying back to everyone here.
- 25:45[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this was really absolutely torn apart last year.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's something that's not talked about a ton.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_01]: Certainly from national media that have to keep up with 32 other teams were on the ground here.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_01]: All you bucks fans, keep an
- 25:59[SPEAKER_01]: That offensive line room was absolutely shredded.
- 26:01[SPEAKER_01]: It was interesting.
- 26:02[SPEAKER_01]: We're still even start the season last year.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: People forget that as well.
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why I think this often is going to be so much better.
- 26:08[SPEAKER_01]: But real, quick, let's run through this offensive line.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_01]: Anything kind of crazy here, stand out to you outside to start a unit.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe more of the conversation who's behind.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, definitely a conversation of his behind the starting five of the starting five that's going to be how it is, but you know the box picked up just a schoolback from the Minnesota Vikings so he's going to compete with Ben Zhukwoma for that sling tackle spot now I have to cool mother because he played it at the very last part last year.
- 26:38[SPEAKER_02]: But it's interesting that they brought school back because it's like, well, do you want him to compete?
- 26:43[SPEAKER_02]: Do you want to take over to who missed you?
- 26:45[SPEAKER_02]: Do you want to keep the old things you're going to want to deal with that?
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: So that one could probably go either way, and we'll see the biggest tell for this guy.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: So baby.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_02]: once we get into our second team reps, you know, who's playing, you know, tackle, left tackle, right tackle, they'll probably, you know, jukuma and school, but how that rotation works will be, will be pretty telling.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_02]: So I have jukuma right now.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see if that's the case going in a training camp.
- 27:08[SPEAKER_02]: The reason why they brought him in will become apparent pretty quickly.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_02]: And then, of course, you've got Dan Feeney and Billy Schrauth at guard, right?
- 27:16[SPEAKER_02]: Feeney was there last year.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: He filled in quite a bit.
- 27:21[SPEAKER_02]: when he filled in.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_02]: So they got Billy Schrauth there in the fifth round from Notre Dame.
- 27:27[SPEAKER_02]: And the question there will be, is Schrauth going to be that swing guard right away?
- 27:31[SPEAKER_02]: Is he going to be the backup?
- 27:32[SPEAKER_02]: Is someone going to go out?
- 27:33[SPEAKER_02]: Or is it still going to be a Athenian who has some better and experience?
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: So those two guys are really fluid, I think.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_02]: And these are just my predictions, obviously, but that could go either way.
- 27:43[SPEAKER_02]: So keep an eye on that one.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_02]: We'll see how those backup spots go.
- 27:47[SPEAKER_02]: But for the most part, Surtig Vive is a Surtig Vive.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: Yep, starting five is as clear as they, you know, a nice little blue be outside.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: That's what you're thinking of.
- 27:57[SPEAKER_00]: No clouds in the sky.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_00]: You know, exactly what you're getting with that top five or those front five guys.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_00]: They're top five unit in the lead when they're fully healthy.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_00]: So that's going to stay the same.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully Cody's able to, you know, come back 100%.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's looking good already.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_00]: So that's great news.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: And then yeah, the whole thing is going to come down.
- 28:13[SPEAKER_00]: Those backups spots as River mentioned, you've got, you know, the school, the school, the grandma thing going on.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: You've got the the phoenix, the phoenix.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: Trial thing going on, I think Strath probably is going to have a little bit of a edge there just because, I don't know, it just seems like he's going to be a better fit on this offensive line compared to what Dan Fini was able to provide last year.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: Whereas, which we all know what that kind of look like, especially watching the season, but now watching quarterback too and you're seeing three knee coming.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_00]: Then what's happening with everyone on the show, but
- 28:42[SPEAKER_00]: You also got to watch a climb.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_00]: That's a very interesting thing to me on what's going to happen with him.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he's really in the solid spot right now to really make the roster per say.
- 28:55[SPEAKER_00]: So, yeah, it's really going to come down to the back of spots.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: But either way, I think Tukulema probably has the best chance of solidifying his position very early on because of how he was able to fill in.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: pretty admirable.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he wasn't great by any means.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: He wasn't good, but he wasn't awful.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you're serviceable and working alongside some of those guys having that cohesion is very important when it comes to the trenches.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_00]: So I think he's got the best opportunity to go ahead and solidify his spot pretty early.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_00]: And then the rest of it will be, you know, hashed out as we get in the training camp.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, going through some of these comments right here before we transition over to the defensive side a lot of you guys in here with us As afternoon Sean saying can we for training camp to start ready to see them and pads?
- 29:36[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're some of these is one of those guys as well.
- 29:39[SPEAKER_01]: Of course Luke got a key I mean, I mean, that's going to be a fun battle to watch those two guys going at it No harm at as well just seeing what he's like he came in and phenomenal shape as well But any of those edge guys or guys in the line.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to get to this comment here
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: stick around for that.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to get to that one.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: I promise this is from D saying I would agree.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: I would agree on the Jalen Daniels QB 3 start.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_01]: The energy style is definitely the key talking bucks said out.
- 30:12[SPEAKER_01]: Nothing personal, but I'll hit the dislike button after seeing Caleb's Boston Red Sox hat.
- 30:18[SPEAKER_01]: Just kidding.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_01]: Love you guys.
- 30:20[SPEAKER_01]: He's he's wild for that.
- 30:22[SPEAKER_01]: After that series, we took on the easy.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's risky to man in the comments.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's risky to.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_01]: Troy here saying I've never seen a player get disrespected by a team more than Sean Tucker.
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: Sean should have gotten that $7 million contract because he's been here producing.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: Y'all got Nia takes there on the whole Tucker conversation as, you know, now, you know, you bring in Kenny Gainwell and, you know, how much playing time is he going to get outside of those, you know, two guys with Bucky to the front.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_02]: This feels like such a landmine to talk about, what's going to get clicks when I'm
- 31:04[SPEAKER_02]: in certain spurreds.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think for sure he's played against some weaker opponents and defences, but he's a speedback in my opinion.
- 31:11[SPEAKER_02]: And to be honest with you, I don't think the books have that and gain well-orving.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_02]: They're not particularly super fast and big downhill runners.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_02]: Like I think Sean Tucker is.
- 31:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I think he is valuable in that running back room, and particularly, it'll be interesting because Zach Robinson runs a wide zone type of run scheme.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_02]: And the wide zone that he ran at Lennon really depends on getting to the perimeter as fast as you can.
- 31:38[SPEAKER_02]: And while you can kind of manipulate Irving and Gainwell and doing that in a nice manner, Tucker could just go in theory.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_02]: So this system might benefit him in a big way.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_02]: I don't see him getting many snaps outside of what Irving and Gainwell do, at least in the main frame of the field.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_02]: Zach Robinson loves to run the football on Saturday.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_02]: He's a big red zone run guy and especially inside the ten right and at that point
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: you could see a lot more Tucker, even though we saw him in that role last year and sometimes bucks fans remember that Saints 1, 2, 3, 4 and out sort of red zone attempt last year.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_02]: It didn't work out in summers backs, but maybe Robinson can get more out of him.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_02]: So his role will be interesting.
- 32:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's good that he serves at an archetype in the other two running backs, but just how much Robinson wants to use him might be the tell.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_00]: And I think last year too, and maybe even
- 32:38[SPEAKER_00]: You know, rather a scheme or with last year in particular, it came down to injuries, right?
- 32:42[SPEAKER_00]: That's why you saw Tucker pushed into a lot more of a bigger role into things.
- 32:47[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think the Buccaneers really knew what they really were good at last year when it came to the running game overall.
- 32:54[SPEAKER_00]: So now that you've got a better idea of what you're bringing in, you know, you're going to see a lot more pissed, so you're going to see that outside zone running scheme from as that Robinson standpoint as the play caller.
- 33:03[SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, I don't know.
- 33:05[SPEAKER_00]: I will see what he's able to get, but I mean, dude, he's probably the best third down or third down the best, you know, third string running back out there in the league.
- 33:14[SPEAKER_00]: If you want to go that far, I would, you know, hang my hat on that pretty pretty solidly.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 33:19[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I mean, it's a good situation for the box, right?
- 33:21[SPEAKER_00]: So I give Bucky's not how to reciprocate go.
- 33:23[SPEAKER_00]: You can throw Tucker in there.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_00]: He provides a different look, then, then gain well, you know, more of a...
- 33:28[SPEAKER_00]: As Rivers said, downhill, fast guy who's able to get to there, get to the point that he needs to get to super quick.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_00]: So, um, yeah, I don't disagree that, you know, you probably should have been paid more money overall in the free agent market, but clearly nobody saw them that way.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: And that's fine for the bucks because they just got richer and that department they didn't have to go look for third string back up running backwards money up from the practice squad.
- 33:50[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 33:51[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I think he's a great asset to this team.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: Now, whether he's able to continue to show what he's able to provide, we'll see to be determined.
- 33:59[UNKNOWN]: Yeah.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_01]: Chris, over here, saying just under two weeks until training camp starts, you're absolutely correct.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_01]: We'll be out there Wednesday morning bright and early for you guys.
- 34:07[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm filling up a lot of clips on here in our YouTube short.
- 34:10[SPEAKER_01]: If you haven't yet, hit that subscribe button.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_01]: Probably going to be posting like three or four videos a day on there.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: Those have been crushing you guys.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to join
- 34:26[SPEAKER_01]: guys going at it, like I said, Ribbon Bane versus Lou Gettiqui or Tristan Worsh once they've had them on.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_01]: Those videos are going to go up immediately, so I highly suggest, and that's subscribe and also to follow these guys down there on their social media tags on Twitter.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: Here's Banks, and I just see Jell McMillen lighting up this year.
- 34:46[SPEAKER_01]: He is extremely, quietly competitive, always been on his team.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's one of the
- 34:52[SPEAKER_01]: like mental-wise, I think he is right up there.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_01]: I mean at the very top on this roster.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, he's got a really good head-on in shoulders and he is quietly competitive.
- 35:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's a really good way to describe him.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: I love his mentality and the way that he came back from that injury was not easy on his mental.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: He was very vocal about that.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_01]: And I love some Jelnikman.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: J.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_01]: Limit Millen was breaking out last year after coming back from that injury.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think J.M.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_01]: is a wide receiver to behind Godland.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm J.M.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_01]: as well.
- 35:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm very high.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's going to have a potential to be one of your stat leaders on this team.
- 35:28[SPEAKER_01]: Obtus Angles saying I'm not sure why a debit coke wasn't given more of an opportunity But I think about our sharp beats him out in camp and that's a thing You know, debit coke the last two years has been a camp star Yeah, those big grabs over the middle and stuff.
- 35:42[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's a mix of Put in his hand in the dirt along with to get in that play play look down a little bit better Because the physical attributes are there and you would love to see where you could take advantage of Opportunities in the red zone
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: So what do we have?
- 35:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we got to see.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, Bauer is going to push him.
- 36:00[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe that's what a player like a Devon cult need to need someone on his ass to push him and take that next big leap.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_00]: Thanks a lot back to what you said, I thought that when your severs and Jay would not know when having it, you know, all of right in the head and, you know, everything like that, it's funny because all three of the blackeners, Taucewiber severs right now are all that mold, right?
- 36:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, when Jay went and make a, they're not loud, guys, they're not, you know, going to talk a whole lot of trash, they'll talk trash.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure, but they're not going to be the most monstrous, why you're selling it.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_00]: There's not going to be the boisterous guys George Piggins, a lot of George Piggins.
- 36:37[SPEAKER_02]: George Piggins goes beyond talking to you.
- 36:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that's a totally different tier of life.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's totally different.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you guys all high football accused go out there and do their jobs to the best of their abilities and just want to play ball, right?
- 36:51[SPEAKER_00]: So very smart and individual is know how to play the game, know how to manipulate the game that works in their favor.
- 36:58[SPEAKER_00]: So having with three guys at the top of that, that monster is a pretty huge for the buckiners.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, George Pickins and ends over and end as of Argentina don't trash talk.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_02]: They just hit.
- 37:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_02]: That's the good happens with that.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: We got about 37 of you guys on here.
- 37:15[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys didn't know, we are doing a voicemail segment off throughout the season and certainly as we head into Jordan.
- 37:22[SPEAKER_01]: training camp, we're going to compile all of these.
- 37:24[SPEAKER_01]: So what you can do, the link is down in the YouTube description below.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: Click on that, as easy as it gets, you can do it on your phone, but we are collecting voice smells and want to do this all throughout the season and throughout training camp to be on me.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_01]: questions if you want to ask us how did who to who look and this way I mean we take down so many notes all throughout the day every practice So this is the best way for you to come in and give us a question or a topic you guys would like us to jump into and this is the easiest way
- 37:53[SPEAKER_01]: And you just hit start recording there.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think you can do it for 60 seconds, maybe two minutes, but anything short will work as well, but definitely we're trying to take advantage of that.
- 38:03[SPEAKER_01]: We're trying to get our first voice mouse.
- 38:04[SPEAKER_01]: Someone's got to send us our first voice mouse.
- 38:06[SPEAKER_01]: So throw it down and just send that and it's easy peasy.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we'll do that.
- 38:11[SPEAKER_02]: Lemon, squeezey, lemon, squeezey baby, please.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: We want your voice mouse.
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's jump over to the defensive side of the ball.
- 38:19[SPEAKER_01]: Let's jump up with the edge, the fun one, the edge position.
- 38:24[SPEAKER_01]: I need the pads on, I need to see really bang with the pads on.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: And I also want to see IDI obby man.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this is a guy that works his ass off in the off season.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_01]: And I mean, this, he's super excited.
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't even been on the other side of him, but you've got him, you know, this is your starting combo.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: He's going into the season.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: And if you've got Muhammad, I'll get him Muhammad coming from Detroit Lions to the bucks picked up this off season.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: What a strong season.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_01]: Last year, he's your edge three.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then Edge 4 and Edge 5, Anthony Nelson and David Walker and that room, and talk about a whole 180 flip.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_01]: Because when I was talking with Jason Light at that, when I ran into him at the airport, you know, I was like, man, I don't know what, what y'all were doing.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_01]: What the idea was, but it's worked and I hope it works in the season.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: really flipped in that room.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_01]: Talent, less depth.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_01]: Sometimes you can get one or two.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: I think you've got two.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: You went to it for two here.
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: You got talent and depth.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_01]: You just got lucky room and being just fell onto your lap.
- 39:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_02]: Things should be pretty status quo there in this room.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_02]: I think Vayne will be your number one ad russia and then deavian.
- 39:30[SPEAKER_02]: They're so I did mention.
- 39:33[SPEAKER_02]: in my stat leader predictions.
- 39:35[SPEAKER_02]: I think the idea of he will end 20, 20, 6 with the most sacks in Tampa Bay, because I think Bains are going to bring on the pressure.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_02]: And I think the obvious going to do a great job cleaning up.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_02]: So those two are your starters.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_02]: Obviously, alquidimahaman can kind of go in from there, rotate.
- 39:51[SPEAKER_02]: And then after that, that's where it is interesting.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_02]: And that's what the camp battle starts, right?
- 39:55[SPEAKER_02]: Hard to think that Anthony knows doesn't have that number four spot locked up, but David Walker coming off of that ACL,
- 40:03[SPEAKER_02]: will be a big thing there and they'll compete.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_02]: Chris Brasswell is going to try to make the roster guys.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_02]: He's really going to try and make the roster.
- 40:11[SPEAKER_02]: I'm right now I don't see that happening, but we'll see if he can really get a big creative burst in there.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_02]: I don't see that happening and at this point in his career especially given what we see on tape unfortunately so far, but you never know.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: I think he's going to be competing with David Walker and I don't know if he'll be able to to get over that.
- 40:31[SPEAKER_02]: Especially because David Walker right now is an idea, right?
- 40:35[SPEAKER_02]: It's a way easier to have an idea on your roster than a guy who we've seen in Chris Brasswell, which has to produce.
- 40:42[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, pretty put dry.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_00]: In my opinion, you got Ruben, you got Yaya.
- 40:48[SPEAKER_00]: you got a QH who's going to be you're definitely number three guy and now it's going to be Nelson and David Walker.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: I think Brasswell is kind of oddment out here as alluded to my river.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_00]: I think they really liked what they saw David Walker to take him in the draft last year coming from where he came from at a lower school level and he was looking really good up until that injury.
- 41:08[SPEAKER_00]: So I think there's a lot to be desired from the backside of that group.
- 41:13[SPEAKER_00]: But if it's able to live up to the expectations that we're expecting of them, then yes, this group is going to be very much improved from what we were able to see a year ago and let's, they weren't awful a year ago, they just failed to, you know, complete the process of getting a quarterback down or doing anything of that nature.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 41:32[SPEAKER_00]: They're able to get the pressures.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: We know that they can get the pressures now.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_00]: Go out there and finish that.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_00]: And it all is going to start with that extra pressure.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_00]: And these guys are going to be relied upon heavily to be able to do that.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_00]: And I think River had it now on the head with where we're at and that really.
- 41:46[SPEAKER_01]: Let's jump over to the entire defensive line outside of Ed.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: She had no attack.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: We got beat of Vaya, Demante, K-part, the rookie coming from Clemson, also Ashana Robinson in the mix there.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_01]: And then you also got Elijah Cancey.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yep.
- 42:02[SPEAKER_01]: And you've also got Elijah Robertson, not Joe, in the room like that, also.
- 42:08[SPEAKER_01]: we're talking about edge there and reloading talent-wise and depth.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: Also too, you know, you did what you needed to do and the interior, which was a much need and you brought in some better and experience with leadership with Robinson and notcha.
- 42:22[SPEAKER_02]: This one's the hardest to do a quote unquote depth chart of this room, because top bulls probably just going to move everybody around.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, we've seen Vita Vale line up at defensive end in this defense right so man anything goes here in theory to be in a vaginose tackles.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_02]: You'll have glad you can't see alongside him Asian Robas and we'll probably mostly play alongside Vita, but
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: you can move in and out there.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_02]: You've got the edge of the edge.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_02]: You've got Elijah Roberts who had a pretty strong rookie year.
- 42:54[SPEAKER_02]: I thought coming in a year or two can be good rotation.
- 42:57[SPEAKER_02]: And not sure who can play a lot of different positions sort of.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_02]: So that'll be interesting.
- 43:04[SPEAKER_02]: He's been a nose tackle before.
- 43:06[SPEAKER_02]: You can be can kick out.
- 43:07[SPEAKER_02]: Tobles is going to mess with this quite a bit and he definitely needs to because this defense of line needs to be able to generate pressure by itself, and it just hasn't really been able to do that a lot of time.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_02]: So, we'll see how that goes, but that's how I imagine that as probing, H1 Robbins is kind of the biggest while currently can play in a lot of different positions, but so far it kind of seems fairly sad.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, at your top three, Collasia Vita, Aishan Robinson, and I think those are pretty much your guaranteed guys that are gonna really see the bulk of the work there.
- 43:37[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, we're able to see what Elijah Roberts did last year in
- 43:40[SPEAKER_00]: for in-produced at a level that was not expected of him that this early on in his career as a guy who previously played defensive end at SMU there with a musting.
- 43:50[SPEAKER_00]: So you liked what you saw for him in his rookie year.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_00]: I expect him to have a little bit more of an input and who's sliding in where what time's been again, matchups are all going to come into play.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_00]: Things with that nature and what type of offense you're going up against the Montaic K-part that really like what's the difference?
- 44:07[SPEAKER_00]: He was able to bring at Clemson yet.
- 44:09[SPEAKER_00]: There's a lot to be expected of him.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe he doesn't play all the way through the plays kind of loose and takes some plays all out from here from time and in time out and things of that nature.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: And then, you know, roaches, we got him.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: So those are your six guys really ultimately.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: I like them all.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see how they're rotated in.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_00]: But I think those three that I mentioned beforehand are kind of your centerpiece is for sure.
- 44:32[SPEAKER_01]: going over to line back or here.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_01]: Alex and Zalone come from the Detroit lines as well.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_01]: Then you've got Desayah Trotter who you brought in in the second round of this last draft.
- 44:43[SPEAKER_01]: You got Christian Rose boom.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_01]: line back at three spot and then it's Rossi Dennis as the linebacker for there.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_01]: This room needed some experience after losing La Vante David.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: They also needed to have some guy that could go and be able to take care of things and coverage that's going to be the question.
- 45:05[SPEAKER_01]: to mark on Josiah Trotter there if you can take advantage there, or at least develop and grow there.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: Manning Christian Rosebum is one that intrigues me a lot just to see what we're going to get out of him in training camp and how good he looks in this Todd Bowles defense.
- 45:21[SPEAKER_01]: And just overall, I think as a linebacker room and think about Todd Bowles's defense, how important this room is for communication and blitzes and just think
- 45:36[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know, the headquarters right there, they just set everything up for you.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm keeping a close, like, trotter and Rose boom are interesting.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I don't know where I'm at, what's Rossi A. Dennis.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know if we're going to find that out.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think training camp will find out much of anything until you get to some preseason games again, and sort of when the season begins.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: But just interesting, I got Rose boom ahead of Dennis correct River here.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_02]: I do and I'm actually the case for those who have had over a hundred tackles last two seasons and I think that makes sense to say he's not a starter who should be playing every down, but I think definitely he's going to be the one two.
- 46:21[SPEAKER_02]: displace their vassade and some that that rotational part and I don't know what you do with then as I agree, but I think you got Alex hands lonely.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_02]: I think you got Josiah Trotter at one and two Mike linebacker there for Josiah Trotter and that'll be your lineup.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_02]: So Rose been will fill one as needed.
- 46:37[SPEAKER_02]: I guess you could use then as for certain packages, but I don't really know what the plan is for him is he's buried so far down the depth chart.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, pretty hard to argue that.
- 46:48[SPEAKER_00]: in any direction, really.
- 46:49[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, Alexander alone is going to be that guy who's coming in the middle of your defense being that leader to sign a charter.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_00]: They're very high on him.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, we know the restrictions that he's kind of have from a coverage standpoint, but they believe that he can improve that and develop that and we'll see how that looks when strain it can't be against the preseason get started.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 47:06[SPEAKER_00]: After that, I think Rose Boat's probably your first guy and being called off off the bench there and it's about say Dennis is well Nick Jackson, I think he's still in the room too.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_00]: But, I mean, if you want to see Serbal say Dennis, he's going to have to show something, right?
- 47:19[SPEAKER_00]: He's going to have to show something you can't for him to be rewarded with the snaps that he's used to seeing.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: Get rid of those lapses that he had majorly in coverage, doesn't know where he needed to be at all times.
- 47:29[SPEAKER_00]: He needs to cover the back out of the back field, doesn't need to follow the tie-in that's coming off and delaying or whatever it may be.
- 47:35[SPEAKER_00]: he needs to show that he's got a grasp of the knowledge of the game from that position first before you can throw him out there for meaningful snaps.
- 47:42[SPEAKER_00]: I mean we've seen it hurt the buck and he's over and over again with him being lapsed and covered to which ultimately make Lefonte David be bad too because Lefonte when he was tasked with doing that couldn't really do that because he's got to pay attention to what Voss is doing to make sure that he's doing his job before he can go do his job.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: So
- 47:59[SPEAKER_00]: It was kind of like a triple down effect ultimately and that's why things were so bad and that linebacker room.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_00]: And even though you have a volunteer David, you can't play those two positions by himself ultimately.
- 48:08[SPEAKER_00]: So now that you've got two guys in there that you were going to trust, hopefully Trotter is going to be able to pick up on these things.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_00]: When it does come to coverage with things, then it's because he can do the things that boss does in terms of filling the whole, getting into the back field of things that nature.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_00]: But is he going to be able to be a better guy in the open field or sideline to sideline?
- 48:26[SPEAKER_00]: That's the biggest question.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_00]: I think Rose Boom probably has a clear path there.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_00]: to maybe steal snaps away from Trotter earlier.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_00]: Then I've asked that, but we'll continue to see this play out.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_01]: Now, let's go over to the second dairy here.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_01]: Cornerback one, Zion, McCullum, and on opposite side Benjamin Morrison.
- 48:45[SPEAKER_01]: There, cornerback three, Spide Jacob Parish.
- 48:47[SPEAKER_01]: Let's end there.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: And Nickel, you've got Kianta Scott, the rookie coming from the Miami Hurricanes.
- 48:55[SPEAKER_01]: As we know, one that I think all of us on here really like that.
- 49:03[SPEAKER_01]: that he dropped to the box, and then at safety, Antoine Winfield, Junior, Taikis, Smith, there as your starters, and then your safety twos, Miles Kilibrew, and JJ Robert, JJ Robert's is one that just speaking with Jason Light as well, was very high on him.
- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: He showed a lot of flashes to us last year, and this training camp sucks that he got injured, but we're all excited to see what JJ Robert's is going to
- 49:32[SPEAKER_01]: bols fuel a little bit more relaxed at the safety room, but his biggest concern right now is health at the quarterback room.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: Certainly, a Benjamin Morrison can't stay healthy for more than a month.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, that's the big problem, right?
- 49:44[SPEAKER_02]: And I do agree with some of the comments here.
- 49:46[SPEAKER_02]: We might see some dime packages as long as everybody could say healthy.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_02]: Candace Scott, I think will play in nickel.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_02]: You'll have Jacob Parrish moved to the outside, but Parrish played too well to stay
- 50:00[SPEAKER_02]: The big conundrum they're going to come in with is, well, if he can't beat out, quote, unquote, mentioned more than her to call them, then like, what does he do, right?
- 50:08[SPEAKER_02]: So that's going to be the most interesting thing there.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_02]: And I think with safety, status quo, Tyki Smith played great last year for sure.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't want to feel a junior's got to get back to some good form.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's been two years, really, since we've seen him get back to good form.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_02]: He's looking for a really big season and robbers can play a safety and it goes so he's got a lot of variability there The bucks like him a lot and Miles Kilberg's mostly going to be a A special team's player, but if you need a veteran he's done it before so he'll be in that room as well.
- 50:40[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah Like on teens and having my mood doesn't man that's brutal Yeah, I think we all understand kind of
- 50:52[SPEAKER_00]: where the issues lie.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_00]: In this secondary, you're moving people, pieces around, you're getting a new nickel for like the fourth year in a row, is more than going to be able to stay healthy.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: So, and so, obviously, it's on your corner back one.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_00]: I think parish, I agree with rivers, going to be your CB2.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_00]: To start there, we'll see how things kind of unfold as.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_00]: As the season progresses and if Morrison is able to stay healthy, he does fit that I agree with River I agree with everybody in the in the chat as well talking about dying.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think we see a lot of time just based on the versatility of this defense and what talk holes likes to do period.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_00]: So I think that's going to be an advantageous thing for the books because they're not all man and man guys, right.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: So.
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: All these guys are probably a little bit better in zone skiing packages things that nature but you're able to do that a little bit more when you have linebackers who can drop in the coverage and cover well when you can you know move your safeties around and be a little versatile and hybrid in that mix of things as well.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_00]: So those different things coming together can make this corner back room look a little bit better than it actually is so that's going to rely heavily on guys like an hands one when feel a guy like a Thai kiss mitt now entering what year three or four.
- 51:59[SPEAKER_00]: Now that he's been in the system count they've got a lot of the asset and from the nickel back position you throw in JJ Robert who can kind of play that hybrid role too as well.
- 52:06[SPEAKER_00]: So it'll be interesting to see for sure, but I think overall if this group can work as a unit it'll be very, very good for the Tampa Bay book and yours defense especially with the new revamped defensive line being able to finally get some pressure on guys for us the quarterback.
- 52:20[SPEAKER_00]: to throw the ball, release it a little bit better, create those turnover.
- 52:23[SPEAKER_00]: So a lot of these issues or things I need to be fixed can be hidden by the overall group play, and if they're able to live up to those expectations, then they can really really become a forceful unit in the league.
- 52:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm really hoping that with the past rush to self-sisterium too as well, I met something that has been lacking and can't get to the quarterback.
- 52:43[SPEAKER_01]: to it whenever you have a little bit of a threat.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe not even out the edge but too on the interior there as well.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_01]: You just have a well rounded front unit there on the defensive line and it should be able to help your secondary D on here.
- 52:56[SPEAKER_01]: The same parish should be successful outside of his to prove it attitude and self-motivated.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: He wants his name known and I think he just kind of, I agree.
- 53:03[SPEAKER_01]: It kind of keeps to himself when we're getting some interviews.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's not a whole lot of
- 53:08[SPEAKER_01]: You know, drop by, you know, smiling and getting getting whatever he's just out there to play ball and it's very apparent he's just there so he doesn't get fine.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, he really is.
- 53:20[SPEAKER_00]: But the thing that comes with parishes is the obvious it's the size right like is he going to be able to hold up against guys like an AJ Brown.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_00]: or my weapons or somebody like that, right?
- 53:30[SPEAKER_00]: So those are really where it's going to come into play.
- 53:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like, is he going to be able to do that on a consistent basis?
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: Is his body going to get worn out by doing that on a regular basis?
- 53:39[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll kind of see how that progresses.
- 53:41[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I completely agree with that comment.
- 53:43[UNKNOWN]: Mm-hmm.
- 53:44[SPEAKER_01]: I'll have to say, and I think County Scott is going to come.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_01]: or three, three speed, and yeah, Todd Bowles, I'm gonna be very interested to see how he's gonna use this kid, because well, all of his got stacks at Miami, came when he was on the same side as Ruben Bane.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_00]: So that's an important aspect of it, did you do?
- 54:06[SPEAKER_01]: A little bit, a little bit.
- 54:07[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely, well, well, while we go to halftime here for ourselves, we're gonna go to halftime.
- 54:14[SPEAKER_01]: price picks, shout out to them for sponsoring this episode of here the cannons and specifically since Caleb decided to wear that Boston red socks hat after sweeping the rays.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to go and make some picks and some positive picks.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to some more is on the rays here, specifically.
- 54:33[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, they've got to get a, I don't even know
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: I know, just leave GTF out, remember?
- 54:47[SPEAKER_01]: That might be the best way that I came in that.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_01]: Or just take your, there we go.
- 54:52[SPEAKER_01]: Here's our picks right here.
- 54:53[SPEAKER_01]: We got to make some kind of narrow hits or always usually a solid pick here.
- 54:59[SPEAKER_01]: That feels like a nice, easy one right there.
- 55:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Juniors.
- 55:05[SPEAKER_00]: Juniors, Juniors.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he's going to get his.
- 55:07[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 55:09[SPEAKER_01]: Alan's pretty fine.
- 55:11[SPEAKER_01]: Where is the Martinez?
- 55:13[SPEAKER_01]: It's pitching.
- 55:18[SPEAKER_01]: It's allowed.
- 55:19[SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
- 55:26[SPEAKER_01]: Last time.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know either, but I'm just going to go with the less.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: Less on the Martinez.
- 55:33[SPEAKER_01]: If anybody is raised fan, it has a little bit more education.
- 55:39[SPEAKER_01]: The fact that we've had to bet on our maker picks on soccer, this entire office season, and we had to do a little bit of basketball, which I know a little bit more of.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 55:48[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I know enough about my team, but I don't keep up with everybody else.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_01]: So, we're gonna go with Martin as there, but we do have to go to a raise player, but we're gonna certainly go less with just K's, or Petra for it.
- 56:02[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I can't even do that.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_01]: It's allowed.
- 56:08[SPEAKER_01]: five hits.
- 56:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's a good idea.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know if that's a good idea.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_00]: This would be a good time for us to have, Ripper.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I know.
- 56:15[SPEAKER_01]: We lost him.
- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: He'll be back guys.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to get his try to always back now, I think.
- 56:21[SPEAKER_01]: I believe.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_01]: Are you back, Ripper?
- 56:23[SPEAKER_01]: There he is.
- 56:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think he's back.
- 56:26[SPEAKER_01]: What did you help?
- 56:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 56:28[SPEAKER_01]: I think we got our race picks.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_01]: I like our race picks.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_01]: But now we're going to find some for the blue jays.
- 56:33[SPEAKER_01]: And we obviously want to go try to go less on these because we're not pulling further blue jays.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's true, that's true.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: We're not trying to find a pick here, though.
- 56:45[SPEAKER_02]: To our seeds.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_01]: Caves.
- 56:52[SPEAKER_01]: Seven Caves.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_01]: Can you do a lesson that now?
- 56:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think that's probably good.
- 57:01[SPEAKER_01]: I think we ride with that.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_00]: All in on the raise.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, we ride with the raise, baby.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_01]: This is our picks right here.
- 57:08[SPEAKER_01]: If you guys use it, it's gonna throw you at least.
- 57:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, even though I am giant span, we don't have any issues with you guys in the race.
- 57:15[SPEAKER_01]: It's just a shame.
- 57:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think they should bounce back after the sweep.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_00]: There's no way they don't, right?
- 57:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think they will.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think they will, but these are our picks right here.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_01]: I use the code A to make the link is also in the description below on YouTube.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_01]: It's an easy app to use.
- 57:30[SPEAKER_01]: It's available in all the big states.
- 57:31[SPEAKER_01]: It's included here in Florida, Texas, and California.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_01]: I love this app.
- 57:37[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be awesome to use here.
- 57:39[SPEAKER_01]: Once we're going week to week in games, Baker may feel more on the passing.
- 57:43[SPEAKER_01]: We've got jail in the Kamellin touchdowns.
- 57:45[SPEAKER_01]: All this kind of stuff, Kenny Gainwell, buck your Irrain Lake.
- 57:49[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just salivating.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_01]: I'm just ready to get there.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: So we'll be there soon on then I think we'll be able to jump into some preseason games as well.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_01]: So shout out the prize picks as always for sponsoring this episode of Here.
- 58:03[SPEAKER_01]: The Canon's now let's jump over real quick to some ESPN rankings here.
- 58:09[SPEAKER_01]: Of the bucket near is of no bucks.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_01]: Why do receivers were included on this list of the
- 58:17[SPEAKER_01]: from NFL executives, coaches, and scouts as they rank the top wedgers he was going to this 2026 season.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_01]: Here is the top 10 list of marches, and number one, Justin Jefferson, Jackson, Smith, and Jabba, you've got Puka, Nakua, you've got Aman Ra, say Brown at five, CDLAM at six, at seven there is George Pickins, two, always players back.
- 58:41[SPEAKER_01]: Back, you got Nico Collins at eight,
- 58:44[SPEAKER_01]: A.J.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_01]: Brown at nine and a bond tape atoms at 10.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_01]: Now there was no box players at all.
- 58:50[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they even received any oats on this.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_01]: Mike Evans though did get an honorable mention there.
- 58:57[SPEAKER_01]: And as we know he's with the 49ers, but should box fans be concerned about this at all.
- 59:07[SPEAKER_01]: of them.
- 59:08[SPEAKER_01]: No, not shocked.
- 59:09[SPEAKER_01]: Now if there was a ranking talking about doing an overall wider silver room, that's a whole different conversation where I think the bucks are a top five team across the league.
- 59:18[SPEAKER_01]: In that as we were just talking about that wider silver room earlier in the episode about how much talent is there and how much more to wrote.
- 59:25[SPEAKER_01]: Some of these other guys can make with another full healthy season of jailing.
- 59:30[SPEAKER_01]: Melon and Port Emeca Agbuca.
- 59:32[SPEAKER_01]: your former first round picking and you know what you're going to get out of 10hurst as well and you got a veteran Chris Godwin says Johnson into his second season like that room is loaded but should bucks fans be concerned about this going on in the season.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_01]: They don't have a top 10 wire receiver.
- 59:46[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it matters as that I previously spoke on.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, you've got an embarrassment of riches in the room, right?
- 59:53[SPEAKER_00]: Who cares if you got one of the top 10 guys in the league?
- 59:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like, obviously it would be great.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I would love to be the Bengals and have Jamar Chase and antique Higgins on the other side.
- 1:00:01[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that would be super sick, right?
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like, why not?
- 1:00:04[SPEAKER_00]: But like, you don't or a city lamb in George Pickins, whatever.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that would be really cool.
- 1:00:09[SPEAKER_00]: But at the end of the day, it's never been about a one-player team, right?
- 1:00:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's about a team.
- 1:00:14[SPEAKER_00]: It's a team game.
- 1:00:15[SPEAKER_00]: And the Buccaneers have really great, really good, wide receivers out there, right?
- 1:00:19[SPEAKER_00]: Talk about the high queue, talking about them understanding the game, as well as they do, so on and so forth.
- 1:00:24[SPEAKER_00]: So right now, I don't care, but like by the end of the season or even midway through the season, you could even see two Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receivers in there.
- 1:00:31[SPEAKER_00]: Like if who knows how things will play out,
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_00]: No, I'm worried about it now.
- 1:00:35[SPEAKER_00]: I could see Mecha and Jalen being up there.
- 1:00:37[SPEAKER_00]: I could see any combination, really, of those top three guys, two of them potentially going over a thousand yards and then somebody else having like over 10 touchdowns.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_00]: So it's going to be a who's who like you're going to have to pick your choice of who to cover on a weekend and week out basis if your defenses still.
- 1:00:52[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I'm not too worried about it.
- 1:00:53[SPEAKER_00]: Who cares who if you have a number one library receiver or a top 10 considered ranked in in the league, whether receiver on your team or not when you perhaps have three top 25 guys on your team.
- 1:01:03[SPEAKER_00]: So like what what what's the real, you know, fuss when it comes to that, not shocked whatsoever.
- 1:01:08[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's also playing into like,
- 1:01:10[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's Tampa, Tampa's never going to receive the love.
- 1:01:12[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Mike Evans could have never been on this list when he was in Tampa Bay, or even an honor or a woman's in.
- 1:01:17[SPEAKER_00]: So that's just to be expected, right?
- 1:01:19[SPEAKER_00]: Like, we know we're not going to get the love as everybody else should.
- 1:01:22[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Moante Day, they don't as to what to propose to his name, like, like, we know that's part of it, right?
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: So it's fine.
- 1:01:30[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody pays attention to the box.
- 1:01:31[SPEAKER_00]: And that's just how we like it.
- 1:01:32[SPEAKER_00]: And that's how it's going to continue.
- 1:01:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yep, yeah, I think the biggest problem with this room, I mean, it's really deep, you know, and there's a lot of talent deep into the world.
- 1:01:42[SPEAKER_02]: I'm talking about how impressive Test Johnson's been at Edo's, he isn't many camp, and he's like, what, why are they were four or five at the moment?
- 1:01:50[SPEAKER_02]: So that's pretty impressive.
- 1:01:51[SPEAKER_02]: The problem I think is that a lot of these wires here just do the same thing.
- 1:01:55[SPEAKER_02]: They're essentially the same archetype of player.
- 1:01:57[SPEAKER_02]: Chris Goblin, Janet Millen, Annemek and Boocko are all these kind of space finding guys who work really well all the slot.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_02]: And now you've got three of them.
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_02]: And I think the interesting thing is that Chris Goblin can't really play out of this slot.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_02]: But you know, Boocko and Millen can.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_02]: So,
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_02]: they're gonna have to step up and be able to continue to develop their skill set as a complete wire receiver outside of what they did the best when they were in college and God one's gonna have to stay healthy and show what he did in 2024 or what did that he is just an absolute burner out of the slot great space finder yard hutter catch all of that sort of thing and if they can this can be a very good wire see for you and you could pass ball around and there can be maybe not a definitive number one but maybe some some guys that get a lot of different looks but
- 1:02:43[SPEAKER_02]: on a book of a big year ahead of them because they have to be able to play all of the field just like they did last year in it with injuries kind of evolves and they're going to do it again and Chris God was going to firmly be in the slot and that's where he's going to play and you got to fly around him so it's a very deep room that agree is definitely now top 10 largely were right now on the roster but that could change depending on what happens in 2026 could have a really big break out here.
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah and I got to say in earlier you got a third
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_01]: not that he's going to be a top 10-wide receiver across the league, but does that help you for a guy like a dealing with Milan or a mechanic, Booca?
- 1:03:22[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Chris Godwin certainly.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's that.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_01]: Having those little gadgety guys, it also can go deep, open stuff some things underneath.
- 1:03:29[SPEAKER_01]: Like,
- 1:03:30[SPEAKER_01]: it's loaded all around that's why you know I'm sure maybe there are some rankings out there there will be getting closer to the season of you know who has a big best room and then I fell I think the bucks are certainly an argument to be one of those top five teams that's no doubt about it and I'm super excited about their room and certainly super like Zach Robinson he had Drake London and Atlanta
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_01]: But outside of that, it's not anywhere close to what you have in Tampa Bay.
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even close, guys.
- 1:03:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's not even close, and when we're talking about Ted's Johnson taking away distraction or creating distractions, look at the running back room.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_01]: What can he gain well in Buck here?
- 1:04:06[SPEAKER_01]: And those two guys can also catch passes on your ass as a defense.
- 1:04:10[SPEAKER_01]: So like, you're getting screwed all around and, you know, this is Acrobatant.
- 1:04:15[SPEAKER_01]: If he's able to get some things that he learned from Liam Colon and what works well for Baker Mayfield and some of these other wider sewers.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_01]: Man, I mean, this offense has a really good chance with the healthy offensive line.
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_02]: Let's go over to Leshan McCoy.
- 1:04:30[SPEAKER_01]: Leshan McCoy went off on Baker Makefield.
- 1:04:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, this has gone viral now, and he had some interesting words to say about Baker, kind of out of nowhere a little bit, just certainly like going at him for some things.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_01]: So what Baker Makefield was saying and that Netflix documentary,
- 1:04:48[SPEAKER_01]: him talking trash like this is like Sean I feel like his act like this is some kind of shocker that bigger people talk to trash like it's so funny because for the most part in Baker said in the Netflix documentary most of the guys come at me like they're going to talk shit they're going to come at me try to rile me up and so I get to respond I can do that and Sean McCoy just seems stunned I feel like from this but this is what Lashra McCoy said
- 1:05:11[SPEAKER_01]: about Baker Mayfield.
- 1:05:13[SPEAKER_01]: And remember, Sean McCoy was with the bucks and they wanted a Super Bowl with the bucks, not as a starter, obviously.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_01]: But here's what he had to say.
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_01]: Y'all blow people up like Baker Mayfield.
- 1:05:25[SPEAKER_01]: Baker Mayfield has been above average for a very long time.
- 1:05:29[SPEAKER_01]: Every once in a while, he has a very good year that makes people like Y'all talk about him.
- 1:05:33[SPEAKER_01]: he's a little ass dude, right?
- 1:05:36[SPEAKER_01]: That's somehow beat the odds as they walk on and then he gets picked first overall.
- 1:05:40[SPEAKER_01]: I knew shit was crazy when he was acting like he was prepped far on draft day.
- 1:05:47[SPEAKER_01]: He also talked about, you know, Baker talking some smack to him when you're on Mitchell and I raise with the Eagles saying, see the problem is when dudes are regular or above average who want to hype them up.
- 1:05:58[SPEAKER_01]: Y'all are
- 1:06:01[SPEAKER_01]: Donald, but this respect guys like Josh Allen and Omar Jackson.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_01]: So now these dudes that are not on the same level are hearing y'all talk about them and they think and feel like they can come up and say something to Quinion Mitchell, who are you?
- 1:06:14[SPEAKER_01]: That dude is like an all-pro, you know, one of the best set of position in the league, the other guy has never been at ever.
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_01]: talking about Mayfield.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_01]: You get to a lot of alternate provosts.
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_01]: So that was was shot on a coin.
- 1:06:30[SPEAKER_01]: Just go an after baker.
- 1:06:32[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe there's something more to this.
- 1:06:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure media or maybe one of us will ask, maybe I will, because I sometimes do think they'll try to
- 1:06:42[SPEAKER_01]: if Baker starts on some of these certain things.
- 1:06:44[SPEAKER_01]: Let me seem like, I don't know, Kevin Durant is tweeted about Baker, may be all the few times.
- 1:06:49[SPEAKER_01]: That's just, some guys just have it for Baker.
- 1:06:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's really interesting that LaShama Koi has some massive issue.
- 1:06:58[SPEAKER_01]: Kaye, what about let you,
- 1:07:00[SPEAKER_01]: I agree with talk of Bucks.
- 1:07:04[SPEAKER_00]: He clearly didn't watch the whole documentary.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's just probably run across clips or something because, yeah, it bigger goes through and explains the whole thing.
- 1:07:13[SPEAKER_00]: Like, why I get that Cognon Mitchell probably performed as one of the best cornerbacks in his rookie year last year.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_00]: Don't get me wrong.
- 1:07:22[SPEAKER_00]: But again, Baker's been in the league for eight years at this point.
- 1:07:25[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you're not going to let some rookie talk trash to you without having something to say.
- 1:07:31[SPEAKER_00]: And him pulling, what a pool pulling out the, the, the airing foster quote from back in the day to do.
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_00]: So sick, right?
- 1:07:37[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I don't know you, bro.
- 1:07:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know you.
- 1:07:40[SPEAKER_00]: Like, that's such a good move, right?
- 1:07:43[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you're reminding him that, hey, like, this is your first year in league.
- 1:07:46[SPEAKER_00]: You better keep this up.
- 1:07:48[SPEAKER_00]: Like keep the same energy throughout your whole time.
- 1:07:50[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you've got a wrong way to go.
- 1:07:52[SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna figure it out.
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_00]: I know you're a good player, but like remember who you are type deal.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_00]: So whatever wish on the quiz is just gonna talk like that's the only thing that he has going for him now I mean even since he signed with the box that's really the only thing he had going for him was appearance is on podcast So if you want to go through that cool, but like let's get the context first and let's get the full
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know, a thing of context before we're going and making assumptions on things.
- 1:08:14[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I think he's right.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_00]: Baker is only in above average quarterback and has only been in above average quarterback for his entire career.
- 1:08:22[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody's arguing that.
- 1:08:23[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody's going out here and saying, Baker is, you know, the go or in the conversation of Josh Allen or a little more Jackson.
- 1:08:29[SPEAKER_00]: But nobody talks about him that way.
- 1:08:31[SPEAKER_00]: The only time Baker ever got talked that way was in the first six games of the last year when he was an MVP candidate.
- 1:08:37[SPEAKER_00]: That was it.
- 1:08:37[SPEAKER_00]: Nobody's calling him Josh Allen.
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_00]: The only time he's ever been referred to with Josh Allen is when talking about our strength and even then he's an honorable mention.
- 1:08:44[SPEAKER_00]: He's not of a marchax and he can't get away from everybody in the world.
- 1:08:48[SPEAKER_00]: He's really good at escaping but he's not going to run away from you by any means.
- 1:08:51[SPEAKER_00]: So like he is throwing like loose cannons all the world like all around and just hoping one of them lands and none of them landed.
- 1:08:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure that people like are just going to dismiss that.
- 1:09:01[SPEAKER_00]: People were probably in the comments
- 1:09:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I mean, that's who Baker is first foremost, too.
- 1:09:06[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you're going to arrive them up.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_00]: That's when he plays better.
- 1:09:08[SPEAKER_00]: He prefers that you talk shit to him.
- 1:09:11[SPEAKER_00]: So that way he can play better, right?
- 1:09:12[SPEAKER_00]: Like his wife do that and Baker's one of those guys that you don't want to do that, too, because you see what happens from the Seattle fan to Quinn young to anybody.
- 1:09:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like, I mean, he's talking to Jalen Carter asking if he's still doing the spin thing.
- 1:09:26[SPEAKER_00]: Like, yeah, the box lost that game, but like it fires him up.
- 1:09:30[SPEAKER_00]: It gets him to play better.
- 1:09:31[SPEAKER_00]: And then when your quarterback's playing the way is, and he's juiced up, right?
- 1:09:34[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody else around you is going to do that, especially his offensive line who love Baker being their quarterback as he comes out and headbutts then before everything will be.
- 1:09:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's true.
- 1:09:46[SPEAKER_01]: CTI here before the end of the game.
- 1:09:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I've never liked the Baker Mayfield head, but I think I've been on a...
- 1:09:54[SPEAKER_01]: It just gets guys ready, remember.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_01]: It just gets guys ready.
- 1:09:57[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we can chill out on that, maybe.
- 1:10:01[SPEAKER_02]: I think Caleb you're right in a lot of ways.
- 1:10:04[SPEAKER_02]: I think Baker Mayfield is a trash talker than you can't pick and choose who you do it to, right?
- 1:10:09[SPEAKER_02]: It is simply who you are as a player.
- 1:10:12[SPEAKER_02]: and it's how big your may feel gets his drive so of course he's going to talk to guys that when you're on Mitchell and Jay and Carter who are excellent players.
- 1:10:18[SPEAKER_02]: And I think for the drama co-op, if you can't do that, yes, you can.
- 1:10:22[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, you know, yeah, you can.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_02]: The one thing I will agree with the drama co-op is that if you look at the actual clip,
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_02]: uh... may feel used for his letting a young player know he hadn't arrived yet and i must say quignon was a all rookie his first year is an all-for-o first team all-for-o's in here that that that that that that that gets good so uh... you know the who are you think it kind of like well i think a lot of you want to go to have to show or is at this point um... so
- 1:10:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but you got it, right?
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's what makes Baker Baker.
- 1:10:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's fun.
- 1:10:54[SPEAKER_02]: I'd much rather have that in a quarterback because passive in that.
- 1:10:57[SPEAKER_02]: Right now that that's bad, but it's way more entertaining.
- 1:10:59[SPEAKER_02]: It's to have Baker may have feel to do what he does.
- 1:11:01[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, it didn't work out that game, but there's plenty of trash talking, you know, when he popped up on, because he got in a Johnson, it absolutely works that game, didn't it?
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_02]: So.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't think you're saying there's no, there's like quota of who you're allowed to trash talk.
- 1:11:18[SPEAKER_02]: I actually,
- 1:11:19[SPEAKER_02]: kind of prefer it if a quarterback I was reading for a least would unabashedly trash talk players way better than him because yeah you want your quarterback the thing he can co-gaud don't you that's kind of the whole thing and I'm actually amazing.
- 1:11:32[SPEAKER_00]: A quarterback of Baker may feel a statue and everything but having the personality of like Joe Burrow like what?
- 1:11:39[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like that's just not going to work like that.
- 1:11:43[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, and it's listen, this makes the league more fun and to be on a podcast, but I don't think you should do that.
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_02]: Yes, he should.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_02]: Why not.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_02]: It's fun.
- 1:11:53[SPEAKER_02]: It's fun.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_02]: Shady, you did it your whole career.
- 1:11:56[SPEAKER_02]: And yes, you were excellent.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_02]: But I'm sure there's games where he talked to some defensive tackle and then he got flat line when he suddenly took the ball.
- 1:12:04[SPEAKER_02]: It happens, right?
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_02]: So you have to do it to players that are better than you because I mean, that's how you get in the mindset and you win games and you want to have that mentality.
- 1:12:14[SPEAKER_01]: So.
- 1:12:14[SPEAKER_02]: It is silly to to to to be just you are saying to have a trash talk under it is to but I agree Just let people talk bear talk Gatekeeping trash talk on a football field is wild.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, come on, man Come on, what are we doing here?
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_02]: We're all adults.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_02]: We're all.
- 1:12:30[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, so is this what you're talking out here, babe?
- 1:12:32[SPEAKER_01]: River
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't for just for head purposes.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_02]: I don't love this.
- 1:12:40[SPEAKER_02]: Um, yeah, like that's crazy.
- 1:12:42[SPEAKER_02]: And we talked to Connor Bayes like about this in the locker room one time.
- 1:12:46[SPEAKER_01]: He's like, you never is retarder than you think it is.
- 1:12:48[SPEAKER_02]: Like, you know, let's just Let's keep ourselves safe.
- 1:12:55[SPEAKER_02]: they're saying right so yeah I didn't think it was one I believe George Kittle says that he likes to bang it against the the tunnel wall before every game like man I just take care of it guys take care of it take care of it it's a very important part of the body
- 1:13:19[SPEAKER_01]: This is just Baker's way man.
- 1:13:20[SPEAKER_01]: He just gets you to support games.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_01]: That's why I love going down there in the video and it really does You know, it gets the fans going as well It does it does and he's got his handshake with the Bucky coming out.
- 1:13:31[SPEAKER_01]: He is just going to get you rolled up And that's exactly why this organization love him as well and it would be very boring.
- 1:13:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean now Joe Burrow is a different
- 1:13:41[SPEAKER_01]: That is a damn good quarterback, but it would be certainly a pretty boring.
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_01]: I think I don't think he's out there doing that with tomorrow chase I could you imagine Joe Perl and smack it tomorrow chase Let's finish it off here gentlemen because we've got a long episode here, but this has been great because a lot of you guys have been jumping in here and showing some love and we deeply do appreciate it
- 1:14:06[SPEAKER_01]: Nathan's insane great show guys.
- 1:14:08[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still shocked that you don't have such a bigger follow.
- 1:14:10[SPEAKER_02]: Thank you.
- 1:14:11[SPEAKER_01]: We appreciate man.
- 1:14:12[SPEAKER_01]: Just having you guys in here.
- 1:14:13[SPEAKER_01]: We don't need anything crazy.
- 1:14:15[SPEAKER_01]: No crazy numbers, but we have seen some great growth and deeply appreciative of if you guys jump in in here.
- 1:14:21[SPEAKER_01]: Let's jump over to the last topic.
- 1:14:23[SPEAKER_01]: And this was a video regarding, you know, Mike Evans speaking with Baker Mayfield.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry, I feel like I'm lagging out over here.
- 1:14:31[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe we're good.
- 1:14:33[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, so this was a video from the Netflix documentary and once again, and it showed a clip of Mike Evans speaking to Baker made field and saying, I don't know this is like the last game potentially
- 1:14:54[SPEAKER_01]: but I'll bring out here.
- 1:14:55[SPEAKER_01]: We are right here, so I don't give up ever.
- 1:14:59[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, this was a pretty interesting moment here because as we know, Mike is over there with the 49ers and seemed like he kind of about already made his decision or not in the decision, but at least it was already had in his head that there could be a chance this was his last game, what the damn people are getting here.
- 1:15:15[SPEAKER_01]: And so I don't know if this is our last one, I appreciate you, bro.
- 1:15:19[SPEAKER_01]: Let's
- 1:15:23[SPEAKER_01]: And that was a blast game there for the Fox did my Kevin's already know that he was wanting to get out of there.
- 1:15:31[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, did the Falcon's game already kind of seal the deal for him earlier and be like, okay, that's it.
- 1:15:37[SPEAKER_01]: I'm done with whoever whoever it might be.
- 1:15:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think everybody points to the coaching staff and maybe points to Todd Bowles and such and that defense and that falling apart there for them not to eventually make it to the playoffs, but
- 1:15:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's what the box fan base is feeling right now, the top of the top of the top also is maybe the kind of issue there for my Kevin's and one we want.
- 1:16:02[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, this is another touchy, this is another landline.
- 1:16:05[SPEAKER_02]: I think the walk on.
- 1:16:06[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 1:16:07[SPEAKER_02]: When it comes to the box fan, I think I mentioned the article it could be portrayed in multiple ways.
- 1:16:12[SPEAKER_02]: It could be, oh.
- 1:16:13[SPEAKER_02]: It's just the season they saw thing about, but it seems a little bit more sentimental about that.
- 1:16:18[SPEAKER_02]: I think so, I think it's definitely a big possibility that he did.
- 1:16:22[SPEAKER_02]: I think sometimes, guys, people just need to start over and go somewhere else.
- 1:16:28[SPEAKER_02]: And I'm sure that maybe not having faith in end-top bowls or faith in the set or whatever it was, may have had a little bit to do with it.
- 1:16:37[SPEAKER_02]: Um, but the same time, sometimes you just gotta go restart yourself in a new phase of your career towards the end of your career.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_02]: Um, a lot of greats do it in their sport.
- 1:16:47[SPEAKER_02]: Tom Brady did it in, in, in, in, in Tampa Bay of the Buccaneers.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_02]: That's in Patriots.
- 1:16:51[SPEAKER_02]: Um, Mike Evans is doing it with 49ers for any of my Miller sport fans out here.
- 1:16:55[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think Lewis Hamilton had a huge problem with Mercedes.
- 1:16:58[SPEAKER_02]: He just wanted to go race for Ferrari to get a change scenery.
- 1:17:01[SPEAKER_02]: It's that sort of thing.
- 1:17:03[SPEAKER_02]: And I think that's definitely a part of it.
- 1:17:04[SPEAKER_02]: There could be some underlying factors, and we still don't know the whole story behind this whole thing.
- 1:17:08[SPEAKER_02]: There's probably a little bit that will come out later after maybe I've had to reference this career as over in the coming years.
- 1:17:15[SPEAKER_02]: But at the same time, I think it's hard to start blaming a bunch of people.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_02]: Perhaps Evans just wanted to leave if he wanted to get a new fresh scenery.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_02]: You want to get more targets.
- 1:17:24[SPEAKER_02]: People don't talk about that aspect a lot, right?
- 1:17:25[SPEAKER_02]: The YFC rooms really, really.
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_02]: developed and has a lot of more pieces in it and he would definitely be getting lost targets.
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_02]: He'll be getting more and theory in San Francisco.
- 1:17:33[SPEAKER_02]: So that's something to think about too.
- 1:17:35[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of reasons behind it, but I don't think it's impossible that he definitely was feeling that vibe towards the end of the season.
- 1:17:43[SPEAKER_02]: Especially this boxing at the depth of that losing streak.
- 1:17:47[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what direction to go.
- 1:17:50[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's just kind of one of those in the moment.
- 1:17:52[SPEAKER_00]: Type of things, right?
- 1:17:53[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you're like, I'm not sure if this is or is not.
- 1:17:56[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I definitely thought it was head right because it is a contract here.
- 1:17:59[SPEAKER_00]: You could enter free agency and go wherever he pleases.
- 1:18:02[SPEAKER_00]: So it's definitely on top of not necessarily on top of his mind, but on his mind, right?
- 1:18:06[SPEAKER_00]: So he's probably thinking about it.
- 1:18:08[SPEAKER_00]: He's like, thing, this could be my last one.
- 1:18:10[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm in Raymy James Stadium, work final time, whatever it may be, right?
- 1:18:15[SPEAKER_00]: You're just
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_00]: one right like he might have had that thought like this could be my last one and that's completely fine but people haven't been able to change their minds I mean Levantace changes my number time and about three or four times before so like who knows where he was at I don't think a decision was made at that point but I do think it might have been a little bit higher than a 50-50 decision at that point considering
- 1:18:40[SPEAKER_00]: everything that had happened throughout that year starting from the offseason before then had been right with the whole drama with Liam and the new O.C.
- 1:18:47[SPEAKER_00]: and the decision to, you know, promote bizarre instead of going out and finding somebody else, so on and so forth.
- 1:18:53[SPEAKER_00]: So you're going to be in multiple factors in it.
- 1:18:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he had his mind made up in that moment necessarily, but
- 1:18:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's definitely on his mind, obviously, or I'll say, wouldn't have been a thought, right?
- 1:19:01[SPEAKER_00]: Or would have been spoken or reached out.
- 1:19:03[SPEAKER_00]: He obviously has talked about his love for Baker and how he has been able to create a relationship with Baker, not only off the field, but on the field as well.
- 1:19:11[SPEAKER_00]: So they're going to continue to have that, and that's what's been happening behind the scenes.
- 1:19:15[SPEAKER_00]: We don't know.
- 1:19:15[SPEAKER_00]: That's all off.
- 1:19:17[SPEAKER_00]: He aims for us.
- 1:19:18[SPEAKER_00]: We're not sure about that.
- 1:19:19[SPEAKER_00]: And as River mentioned, I'm sure, as it might get into games with 49ers or things start coming up,
- 1:19:26[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, imagine if the bucks in the 49ers meet like in the playoffs or whatever, like I'm going to be a talking right like that's going to be one of the big bigger talking points probably is going to be while my Kevin's is facing his old team that he's become kind of a Hall of Fame guy up there.
- 1:19:42[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 1:19:43[SPEAKER_00]: And it'll be interesting to see I don't even know if we'll get to that point and who knows if we'll ever get the full answers on things we typically don't.
- 1:19:50[SPEAKER_00]: When it happens with something like this, Mike doesn't like all of this information being broadcast out to the world that has been known since he stepped foot into the league.
- 1:19:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I don't even know if we'll fully get the full answer on that.
- 1:20:00[SPEAKER_00]: We do know that he breached out the certain people over others to announce it or make known of his vision.
- 1:20:07[SPEAKER_00]: So he did it at his own pace and Mike has always done everything at his own pace the way he likes to do it.
- 1:20:12[SPEAKER_00]: And he has earned the right to be able to do so for what he's not only given, you know, the type of baby back in years, but to the league as a whole, as well as the type of big community.
- 1:20:20[SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not worried about it.
- 1:20:21[SPEAKER_00]: I don't want to dig too deep into the weeds on what Mike was actually thinking now.
- 1:20:26[SPEAKER_00]: And then I just want to appreciate him for what he was able to, you know, give me throughout my, you know, that time of him as a type of baby up in here as not only a fan, but somebody who covers a team helping bring us who were both championship back to Tampa and what he's at been able to do to uplift the community as a whole.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_00]: Um, like, that's how I want to remember Mike, it's not more about, oh, how did everything go down and why I didn't need not choose the books.
- 1:20:47[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm, yeah, well said there.
- 1:20:49[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I think that's the fan base.
- 1:20:51[SPEAKER_01]: You see just a few of them, you know, still being picked off at Mike and such for moving on, but, you know, this was just a few.
- 1:21:05[SPEAKER_01]: is not in that room as well.
- 1:21:07[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I mean, my government's going to be very interesting.
- 1:21:11[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to be keeping a close on how, you know, that works of there with Perti and the 49ers on the West Coast.
- 1:21:16[SPEAKER_01]: But I think that's going to do it for this episode.
- 1:21:18[SPEAKER_01]: Man, this was fun.
- 1:21:19[SPEAKER_01]: This is a whole lot of conversation before training camp.
- 1:21:22[SPEAKER_01]: We'll have an instant reaction to training camp in next week.
- 1:21:26[SPEAKER_01]: We have tons of coverage coming there.
- 1:21:27[SPEAKER_01]: So I highly suggest you hitting that
- 1:21:30[SPEAKER_01]: button.
- 1:21:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like I said, while I have tons of shorts videos, a lot of those short clips, so then you can go over there and view those, and like I said, remember an eye will be on hand every single practice, so then you can go in and watch our instant reactions, all the notes that we take, and
- 1:21:45[SPEAKER_01]: there and then we'll also jump in and do some episodes with Caleb as well and get hit thoughts on some things too.
- 1:21:50[SPEAKER_01]: But for us appreciate you guys and that's subscribed, but we almost got 25 likes.
- 1:21:54[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're only three likes away from hitting it 25.
- 1:21:58[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of you people also.
- 1:22:00[SPEAKER_02]: Guys are the best.
- 1:22:02[SPEAKER_02]: Guys they're good.
- 1:22:03[SPEAKER_01]: Y'all are good at this.
- 1:22:04[SPEAKER_01]: This was a great episode.
- 1:22:06[SPEAKER_01]: I know a lot of you watch on our TVs as well as the shout to our TV
- 1:22:13[SPEAKER_01]: They smack that like button, trying to get to 25.
- 1:22:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's gonna do it.
- 1:22:15[SPEAKER_01]: Y'all enjoy the rest of Y'all's week.
- 1:22:18[SPEAKER_01]: And by this time, not this time, next week, yeah, we've already been into training camp.
- 1:22:22[SPEAKER_01]: No, we haven't yet.
- 1:22:23[SPEAKER_01]: That's taken forever.
- 1:22:25[SPEAKER_01]: Thank you forever.
- 1:22:26[SPEAKER_02]: But next episode of my life is almost home.
- 1:22:29[SPEAKER_02]: That's right, we're all over the world.
- 1:22:31[SPEAKER_02]: Our journey has almost completely of almost arrived into the bay.
- 1:22:34[SPEAKER_01]: The ship is docking soon.
- 1:22:37[SPEAKER_01]: Almost the rest of the day.
- 1:22:38[SPEAKER_01]: We're out of here.
- 1:22:39[SPEAKER_01]: Peace.
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_02]: All right, the cans.
