- 0:06Speaker 1: the Mark Simon Show on wo R. Hey, let's take
- 0:12Speaker 1: some calls. Let's go to Mario in Manhattan. Mario, how
- 0:16Speaker 1: you doing?
- 0:17Speaker 2: Hey, buys Zono. Let me tell you, my heart goes out.
- 0:20Speaker 2: But you don't bring a machine gun to a protest. Also,
- 0:24Speaker 2: why don't they protest that their American veterans?
- 0:26Speaker 1: Now, let me ask you, is somebody chasing you?
- 0:30Speaker 2: Why don't they You're very excited?
- 0:32Speaker 1: Huh?
- 0:33Speaker 2: Why don't they protest American veterans out in the elements
- 0:37Speaker 2: eating and drinking out of garbage cans?
- 0:38Speaker 1: All right, I'll tell them to do that. Let's go
- 0:40Speaker 1: to Tom and Queen's Tom. How you doing, hey, Mark,
- 0:44Speaker 1: good morning.
- 0:46Speaker 3: I would suggest Trump rename ICE into the National Immigration's
- 0:52Speaker 3: Customs Enforcement Nice.
- 0:54Speaker 4: That would really throw the protesters off when they got
- 0:57Speaker 4: to go around to that idea.
- 0:58Speaker 1: I like one. That's not bad, call it nice.
- 1:01Speaker 3: I like that.
- 1:02Speaker 1: Let's go to Kenny and Bayside, Kenny, how you doing?
- 1:05Speaker 3: Oh?
- 1:05Speaker 4: Hi, Mark?
- 1:06Speaker 3: When did we officially surrender to China? That's what I
- 1:08Speaker 3: want to know?
- 1:09Speaker 4: What President was it?
- 1:10Speaker 3: When did it happen? And it's unfortunate. We have unlimited
- 1:13Speaker 3: immigration sixty five immigration actors. Got to go. Mark, you
- 1:17Speaker 3: we need you on our side like never before.
- 1:19Speaker 1: My man, If you say so, let's go to Robert
- 1:25Speaker 1: in Westchester. Robert, how you doing, Good morning, Mark.
- 1:29Speaker 3: Thank you for taking my call. Well, I mean I
- 1:32Speaker 3: understand about President Trump. And the man has his finger
- 1:35Speaker 3: on the pulse and he gets on the first tend information,
- 1:37Speaker 3: so when he makes a decision, he sees the whole picture.
- 1:41Speaker 3: Unfortunately we don't. And that's why a lot of people,
- 1:45Speaker 3: you know, you just feel bad that what happened with
- 1:48Speaker 3: Christy Nolan and especially Bogino and and them being taken
- 1:51Speaker 3: off the off the stage now. But President Trump knows
- 1:54Speaker 3: what he's doing. And I just like the thing with Greenland.
- 1:57Speaker 3: There's a reason why that man is pushing He's not
- 2:00Speaker 3: because he's a real estate agent. He knows he's got
- 2:03Speaker 3: his hand on the pulse and he sees holding information.
- 2:05Speaker 3: And the other thing is when they said brandishing that weapon,
- 2:08Speaker 3: could be that the guy you look like, he had
- 2:11Speaker 3: an open coat and his wholesto might have been showing
- 2:14Speaker 3: and maybe the agents that's what they told Christy Noleman.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Yeah, that's part of the investigation. He was armed. He
- 2:20Speaker 1: did have a handgun, and again they're struggling with him,
- 2:23Speaker 1: pushing him. He may have had it somewhere on a holster,
- 2:26Speaker 1: on his belt, somewhere along his belt, and the coat
- 2:29Speaker 1: might have opened. One report is you know, when a
- 2:32Speaker 1: cop sees a gun, he's supposed to yell gun. So
- 2:34Speaker 1: all the other officers know. There's one report that they
- 2:37Speaker 1: heard him yell that, which means they saw the gun.
- 2:39Speaker 1: But that doesn't mean the guy fired the gun. But
- 2:42Speaker 1: if he does have a gun and it looked like
- 2:43Speaker 1: he was reaching for it, that would justifit. But but
- 2:47Speaker 1: that's all a lot of ifs, and it's all got
- 2:49Speaker 1: to be investigated. You know. The thing about the president
- 2:52Speaker 1: having is a finger on the pulse. That's a tough
- 2:54Speaker 1: thing for a president. It's very, very tough. You're locked
- 2:58Speaker 1: up in that White House all day. You know, you
- 3:01Speaker 1: can call people and talk to them, you can watch
- 3:06Speaker 1: TV all day, but it's different from actually being out there.
- 3:09Speaker 2: You know.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I know Donald Trump in the Trump Tower days when
- 3:12Speaker 1: his office was there, every so often would go down
- 3:15Speaker 1: to the lobby where there were millions of tourists walk
- 3:17Speaker 1: around and talk to them many times during the day.
- 3:20Speaker 1: You know, the car would bring him, but he before
- 3:22Speaker 1: he went in the building, he'd walk around the street
- 3:23Speaker 1: a little, talk to people, get a feel for things.
- 3:26Speaker 1: You can't do that when you're president. It's very, very tough.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I remember Bill Clinton once in the White House. There's
- 3:32Speaker 1: one window where you can see the sidewalk, and he's
- 3:35Speaker 1: staring at all the people on the sidewalk in Washington,
- 3:39Speaker 1: d C. And they said, what are you looking at?
- 3:42Speaker 1: He says, I admire those people they're out there. I'm
- 3:46Speaker 1: stuck in here. I'm trapped in here. And he's trapped.
- 3:49Speaker 1: It's the White House. And he said, it's just the
- 3:51Speaker 1: most luxurious prison in the federal prison system. And he again, Clinton,
- 3:55Speaker 1: a people person, loved to be out there talking to people,
- 3:58Speaker 1: shaking hands, but there was trapped in the Whitest. Very tough.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Now the president today goes to Iowa to make a speech.
- 4:06Speaker 1: This is important because that's what you do for a
- 4:09Speaker 1: president needs contact. You send him out to do speeches
- 4:12Speaker 1: once a week. And he apparently's gonna do this once
- 4:14Speaker 1: a week. Go out somewhere, go to a state meet people,
- 4:17Speaker 1: talk you know, he does these rallies. You get to
- 4:19Speaker 1: talk to a lot of people along the way. So
- 4:21Speaker 1: that'll be good. That'll happen today. Let's go to Mike
- 4:23Speaker 1: in beth Page. Mike, how you doing good? Mark, how
- 4:27Speaker 1: are you good?
- 4:31Speaker 4: I just want to say, I think the thing about
- 4:33Speaker 4: President Trump. I think he's playing chess and the rest
- 4:36Speaker 4: of the world is playing checkers. He's so far ahead
- 4:39Speaker 4: of everybody else. They don't know what's going on. He's like, don't.
- 4:44Speaker 1: Don't count on that. Tho'se got a Chinese communists plot
- 4:47Speaker 1: like one hundred years out, the Soros and now the
- 4:49Speaker 1: new one Neville Roy Singman, they plot like ten years ago.
- 4:52Speaker 1: They're pretty good chess players too.
- 4:54Speaker 4: Okay, Okay, then I don't mean.
- 4:55Speaker 1: These democrats on the ground. Those are just the pieces
- 4:57Speaker 1: on the board for these.
- 4:58Speaker 4: No no playing chess and the rest of America's playing checkers.
- 5:02Speaker 4: Let me put it that way. Then a lot of
- 5:04Speaker 4: people here don't know what he's doing.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Don't count on that. Don't count on that, you know,
- 5:09Speaker 1: look back carefully.
- 5:10Speaker 4: January crossed him.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Oh no, no, he's a great he's a four D
- 5:14Speaker 1: chess player. But don't diminish the capacity of those Democrats,
- 5:18Speaker 1: remember turning down the ten thousand troops on January sixth,
- 5:21Speaker 1: Look what it led to. They may have plotted that
- 5:23Speaker 1: all out in their head. Hey, you're in beth Page.
- 5:26Speaker 1: What's the situation. Street's clear.
- 5:29Speaker 4: It's cold and very snowy, I know.
- 5:32Speaker 1: But is it traffic moving and the streets are clear?
- 5:35Speaker 3: Now?
- 5:36Speaker 4: Yeah? I was on the Southern State this morning. I
- 5:38Speaker 4: drive a school bus. I was on the Southern State
- 5:39Speaker 4: a little bit. It wasn't too bad. Heading west exit seventeen,
- 5:44Speaker 4: it was pretty good. In the town of West Hemp said.
- 5:46Speaker 4: Some of the streets are a little closed up, but
- 5:48Speaker 4: it's tough getting around, but it's.
- 5:51Speaker 1: Sweeter all right. Well, that's good to hear. In Manhattan,
- 5:54Speaker 1: you can see the pavement everywhere, streets totally clear. There's traffic,
- 5:59Speaker 1: not not up to full blast, but there's a lot
- 6:01Speaker 1: more traffic than yesterday. The only problem is, you know,
- 6:04Speaker 1: when they shovel the streets, they pile the snow banks
- 6:06Speaker 1: on the side of between the sidewalk and the street.
- 6:09Speaker 1: So a lot of times the bus pulls up, people
- 6:12Speaker 1: want to get in the bus, but there's like a
- 6:13Speaker 1: four foot snow bank. They have to climb over. You
- 6:15Speaker 1: have to look for like a little opening in those
- 6:18Speaker 1: snow banks every so often. Hey, and when we come back,
- 6:22Speaker 1: John Carney, brilliant guy, breit Bart. You know, bright Bart
- 6:26Speaker 1: News is a great website, but one of the probably
- 6:29Speaker 1: the best business website now is Breitbart Business Digesting. John
- 6:33Speaker 1: Carney edits that and writes that we'll talk to him
- 6:36Speaker 1: about Minnesota. We'll talk to him about these crazy corporate
- 6:38Speaker 1: leaders in Minnesota getting too involved in all this. Anyway,
- 6:41Speaker 1: we'll get to that and more coming up next on
- 6:44Speaker 1: seven to ten wor
