- 1:19Speaker 5: did you expect? It's a podcast called twenty five Whistles.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Twinning Line Win Everybody Eddie book. So here's my bets
- 1:30Speaker 1: that I made. So I did my three championship bet
- 1:36Speaker 1: I Oklahoma City Thunder to win the NBA, which was
- 1:38Speaker 1: like minus six hundred or something. I don't know.
- 1:41Speaker 6: It was that crazy seven?
- 1:43Speaker 4: Is that what it was?
- 1:43Speaker 7: Wow?
- 1:44Speaker 1: So I parlayed three and I have the Thunder, Arkansas
- 1:51Speaker 1: Razorbacks to win Baseball and the Chicago Cubs to win
- 1:54Speaker 1: the World Series. I bet one hundred and fifty dollars
- 1:56Speaker 1: for a payout of ten thousand, nine hundred and seventy
- 1:58Speaker 1: one dollars. I love those.
- 2:00Speaker 4: So I thought you were doing the Cowboys.
- 2:02Speaker 1: No, I never said the Cowboys I did it last year.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I'd bet that by itself independently. So yeah, thunder Arkansas
- 2:11Speaker 1: Baseball in Chicago Cubs, and will I cash out if
- 2:16Speaker 1: it gets closer to the postseason and I fit the
- 2:17Speaker 1: first two possibly.
- 2:19Speaker 4: My wife always says, it's just one hundred and fifty dollars,
- 2:22Speaker 4: let it ride.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, So I also bet no, but but my number
- 2:27Speaker 1: is always one dollar.
- 2:28Speaker 4: It's just a dollar.
- 2:29Speaker 2: Let it ride.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yeah, but it's not just a dollar if you can
- 2:31Speaker 1: cash out for three hundred dollars, that's what I say.
- 2:35Speaker 1: My second bet that I made was just on Arkansas
- 2:38Speaker 1: to win the College World Series. They're at plus three
- 2:40Speaker 1: eighty their number two. I bet a thousand bucks on them.
- 2:44Speaker 1: It's basically five grand if they win.
- 2:46Speaker 4: It's nice.
- 2:47Speaker 1: So I do have my razorback baseball jersey on This
- 2:50Speaker 1: is literal team jersey.
- 2:52Speaker 6: That's a cool jersey.
- 2:53Speaker 1: It's yeah. I think I took it. I think they
- 2:55Speaker 1: gave it. I don't know. I think they gave it
- 2:57Speaker 1: me to wear because it was one of the actual jersey.
- 2:58Speaker 1: Look it's the yeah, no, it's you know, it's a
- 3:01Speaker 1: little game Jurney patch on it. Yeah, they gave it
- 3:05Speaker 1: to me. To wear to something one time and I
- 3:06Speaker 1: just never gave it back because I was putting it
- 3:09Speaker 1: on this morning and thinking to myself, how do I
- 3:10Speaker 1: have this because it's a I mean it's a legit jersey,
- 3:14Speaker 1: and I think I just never gave it back.
- 3:15Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 3:15Speaker 1: The crew, well, so it buttons, but it also has
- 3:19Speaker 1: a vel crow spot in the middle for the top
- 3:21Speaker 1: part of it.
- 3:23Speaker 4: He or is that for the what the what? The
- 3:27Speaker 4: Astros have something.
- 3:31Speaker 1: For the communication to my so those are my bad?
- 3:35Speaker 1: So go Thunder Game one tonight, Game one tonight. Yeah,
- 3:39Speaker 1: go Razorbacks, which I believe Game one is tonight. They
- 3:42Speaker 1: play Tennessee in Arkansas best of three series super Regional
- 3:47Speaker 1: and let's go Cubs. There were sixteen over the last
- 3:49Speaker 1: time I looked, so.
- 3:51Speaker 6: Yeah, I think there. I saw they're the best record
- 3:53Speaker 6: in the last beginning of May or something like that.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Totally end unexpected. Yeah, it's awesome. Pete Crow Armstrong is amazing.
- 4:00Speaker 6: Are you truly enjoying it? Because I know with baseball,
- 4:02Speaker 6: like you're like, oh, a great month, and you're like,
- 4:04Speaker 6: but no, no, that's how I look at things with baseball.
- 4:08Speaker 1: I'm enjoying it, and I watch sections of a lot
- 4:12Speaker 1: of games. I won't even say most games, but I'm
- 4:14Speaker 1: enjoying it. But man, it's it's May June. It's hard one.
- 4:18Speaker 1: I've been let down so many times in my life
- 4:19Speaker 1: in so many ways. I've also been let down so
- 4:21Speaker 1: many times by the Cobs. And also baseball not always
- 4:26Speaker 1: indicative of how it's going to end, how it's going
- 4:28Speaker 1: to start, because that body is so big. It's one
- 4:29Speaker 1: hundred and sixty two games.
- 4:31Speaker 4: Yeah, do you have the extra innings pass?
- 4:34Speaker 1: I'm glad you asked. I have a major League Sunday ticket.
- 4:37Speaker 4: That's it. Yeah, that's that's the name I was looking for.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So yeah, I do sound it sounded real.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I have all of those.
- 4:44Speaker 1: So there's that. So we're starting there. I do want
- 4:47Speaker 1: to mention a couple of personal things. One, our guy
- 4:49Speaker 1: Reid got married last night and we're all here now.
- 4:53Speaker 1: We're all in Oregon. We flew up surprised them.
- 4:56Speaker 2: It was beautiful.
- 4:57Speaker 1: It was awesome, and so we're doing the show from
- 5:00Speaker 1: Oregon in the forest. It was scenic. We're talking in
- 5:04Speaker 1: the limbs right now. These aren't even microphones. Yeah, there's
- 5:07Speaker 1: some weird animals I hear. Yeah, we did not go.
- 5:12Speaker 1: I do feel little guilty for not being there.
- 5:15Speaker 4: Yeah, sure I look beautiful.
- 5:17Speaker 1: Wait you saw pictures of it?
- 5:18Speaker 4: I saw a picture, yeah, on check out Read's instagram.
- 5:21Speaker 1: I saw it leading up to it. I didn't see
- 5:24Speaker 1: a picture of the wedding.
- 5:25Speaker 4: So one like half hour ago with Reading a dance.
- 5:29Speaker 1: Phoon, we finally did it. I see one of read
- 5:36Speaker 1: at read Yarberry says last night before forever.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Yes, that's one with him and his fiance.
- 5:41Speaker 1: But that's the night before.
- 5:42Speaker 4: Yeah, all right, well maybe I got it mixed.
- 5:44Speaker 1: Maybe it's a story. Hold on, I'm on his feed
- 5:47Speaker 1: story loading the Yarberries. Oh that's Read saying him and
- 5:52Speaker 1: he are gonna get married. But it's four dudes, like
- 5:55Speaker 1: all those dudes getting married. It's all those grooves. Man,
- 5:58Speaker 1: that's Stone and oh and they are they're hugging. It
- 6:03Speaker 1: says a long time coming, and they're hugging. Yeah, that's
- 6:05Speaker 1: the one. I'm at the altar. And then they not kissed,
- 6:08Speaker 1: and any the year in before they get the person.
- 6:10Speaker 4: Can dang, dude crazy.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I think today they fly for their honeymoon. Shoull we
- 6:18Speaker 1: just try to call them just yeah? Or should we
- 6:21Speaker 1: just let them laugh.
- 6:22Speaker 4: No, hold on, is that smoke?
- 6:24Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Yes, it looks like almost smoke on the water. Wow,
- 6:27Speaker 1: it would be.
- 6:28Speaker 6: So happy to see the call. That's just a video
- 6:30Speaker 6: of them dancing. There's a lot of smoke.
- 6:32Speaker 1: There's a where I don't see a video of them dancing.
- 6:34Speaker 6: I tapped into the person who he reposted, watched his story.
- 6:38Speaker 1: God, there's the video of them dancing.
- 6:39Speaker 2: There we go.
- 6:40Speaker 1: Okay, let's let's FaceTime say he answers.
- 6:42Speaker 4: That's so awesome.
- 6:43Speaker 1: He may be on a plane smoke on the wall.
- 6:46Speaker 1: The problem is facetiming. Is they got a hold of
- 6:47Speaker 1: the phone so close to my face? Why what's gonna
- 6:52Speaker 1: be near a microphone?
- 6:54Speaker 2: The struggle is real.
- 6:58Speaker 1: I'm gonna turn this off. Know what's already rang three times?
- 7:01Speaker 1: So it's going to be super obnoxious. Okay, here we
- 7:05Speaker 1: got free answers.
- 7:11Speaker 4: What if they're honeymooning? Mm hmm right now, Well, you
- 7:15Speaker 4: never know. At noon, you're.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Bout getting married.
- 7:20Speaker 4: You're tired after everything?
- 7:22Speaker 1: Yeah, travel exhausting. Yeah, just to get out to the wedding.
- 7:25Speaker 4: Yeah, that's smoke on the ground is awesome.
- 7:29Speaker 1: Until we learned, Until we learned something caught on fire.
- 7:34Speaker 1: That's what the heybody, congratulations. We drove around forever trying
- 7:40Speaker 1: to find the venue last night.
- 7:41Speaker 4: We still can't find it.
- 7:43Speaker 6: Help help, We're looking for smoke.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Okay, but.
- 7:50Speaker 4: No read.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Okay, well we can call new read what's new?
- 7:55Speaker 2: Red bro?
- 7:59Speaker 1: That's funny to read Junior on my phone. Actually it's
- 8:01Speaker 1: Brandon's supposed to be here. But Brandon hit a sap.
- 8:04Speaker 1: I was like, I got to the emergency room.
- 8:05Speaker 4: So what he said? I didn't see that.
- 8:07Speaker 1: The last text was let's say the answer is Brandon Heyboddy, Hey,
- 8:15Speaker 1: so you're on right now? I just say, you know
- 8:17Speaker 1: you're on. You're being recorded? Okay, Okay, what happened?
- 8:22Speaker 8: So I was heading in to the to the to
- 8:28Speaker 8: I heeart, and I was kind of like moaning. I'm
- 8:30Speaker 8: like why what is wrong with me? Like my my
- 8:34Speaker 8: head was hurting.
- 8:35Speaker 9: I was just like, dude, I don't know if I
- 8:37Speaker 9: need to I don't even know if I need to
- 8:39Speaker 9: like stop and go to the bathroom or something. So
- 8:42Speaker 9: I pulled into the parking garage and literally the first
- 8:46Speaker 9: spot I see, I just whip in there.
- 8:48Speaker 8: I opened the door and I just throw up, like
- 8:52Speaker 8: seven times, and.
- 9:00Speaker 9: And then I'm like, Okay, I'm gonna get out.
- 9:03Speaker 8: Of these restricted spots. Is probably like mister iHeart himself.
- 9:16Speaker 4: Oh yeah, baby, Wow, we just hung up.
- 9:22Speaker 1: We just hung up on somebody. We were doing an
- 9:24Speaker 1: interview with somebody else, and we literally bailed on them
- 9:27Speaker 1: and talk to you.
- 9:28Speaker 8: See That's why I love you guys.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Wow, tell us about it. Tell us about the wedding.
- 9:33Speaker 7: Oh, dude, I may be a little biased, but it's
- 9:36Speaker 7: it was like the most beautiful wedding I've ever seen
- 9:39Speaker 7: or been to or been a part of.
- 9:40Speaker 8: Good answer, it's the only one I've been a.
- 9:45Speaker 1: Part of it.
- 9:45Speaker 6: But it was immaculate, dude.
- 9:47Speaker 8: The weather was perfect.
- 9:49Speaker 7: The only thing that was a little if he was
- 9:51Speaker 7: like taking photos and stuff down on the beach. Dude,
- 9:54Speaker 7: that sand and wind like we'll get in every part
- 9:58Speaker 7: of your body.
- 9:59Speaker 1: Oh not cold, you mean like in your cracks?
- 10:01Speaker 7: No, I mean it was.
- 10:02Speaker 8: Cold, but also in your crack.
- 10:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 10:05Speaker 8: So it was intense.
- 10:06Speaker 1: Did everybody make it there that was trying to make
- 10:08Speaker 1: it there? Yeah?
- 10:10Speaker 7: Everyone made it there. Everyone's on time. My freaking parents
- 10:14Speaker 7: drove an RV and somehow made it one of one
- 10:18Speaker 7: of Maddie's cousins. Like he drove like an old RV
- 10:22Speaker 7: van and he broke down in Wyoming, but he got
- 10:25Speaker 7: picked up.
- 10:26Speaker 2: And made.
- 10:29Speaker 9: His van.
- 10:30Speaker 7: His van is still on Wyoming somewhere.
- 10:33Speaker 1: Really made. Oh so what time did the wedding start?
- 10:38Speaker 7: Four thirty is when I started.
- 10:39Speaker 1: And then so you got married. How how quick was
- 10:42Speaker 1: the actual wedding ceremony? It was about thirty minutes and
- 10:46Speaker 1: it did you do your own vowels?
- 10:48Speaker 8: We didn't do our own vows. I said a prayer,
- 10:51Speaker 8: which that was like the only thing I was nervous about.
- 10:53Speaker 1: But that's kind that's kind of your own vow to
- 10:55Speaker 1: be honest, if you're saying a prayer, that's things that
- 10:57Speaker 1: you were wanting to say. Like that's that's guided by
- 11:00Speaker 1: your brain, your heart, your feelings. I would say that
- 11:03Speaker 1: you that's kind of a vow.
- 11:05Speaker 7: Yeah. No, And like the morning of the wedding, like
- 11:10Speaker 7: my two groomsmen and like her friends and stuff went
- 11:13Speaker 7: up eat and I went down to the beach and
- 11:16Speaker 7: you know, got a little Jesus in and just.
- 11:18Speaker 8: Thinking about what I'm gonna say and all that. So
- 11:21Speaker 8: it turned out amazing.
- 11:22Speaker 1: And so you have those ceremony, then you do a reception.
- 11:24Speaker 1: How far was the reception from where the ceremony was?
- 11:27Speaker 8: Everything was like like two to three minutes away from
- 11:30Speaker 8: each other. But it's just like it's like driving down hills.
- 11:34Speaker 7: And going across and then up another hill and then
- 11:35Speaker 7: you're at another spot.
- 11:36Speaker 1: So and what did you guys do for entertainment there?
- 11:40Speaker 7: We had a DJ we had let's see what do
- 11:44Speaker 7: we have? We had like fourteen sendoffs. I don't know
- 11:48Speaker 7: why you need that many send offs, but I don't
- 11:50Speaker 7: know what that means, Like the sendoffs where you're like
- 11:53Speaker 7: you're going through the tunnel and everyone's like yay.
- 11:55Speaker 4: Whatever, saying bye.
- 11:57Speaker 1: How'd you have fourteen?
- 11:59Speaker 7: We did a send off to go take photo sunset photos,
- 12:03Speaker 7: and then we did another send.
- 12:04Speaker 4: Off coming back.
- 12:06Speaker 1: That's like welcome back. That's a yeah, we'll send.
- 12:09Speaker 4: Off, yeah off.
- 12:10Speaker 8: Did we do an anxious too? No, we just left,
- 12:15Speaker 8: well we just actually left.
- 12:17Speaker 1: There's yeah.
- 12:22Speaker 6: Is Bobby.
- 12:23Speaker 1: He's in trouble in the gang. He's in trouble already. Hey, welcome,
- 12:27Speaker 1: welcome to married Live, buddy. I can't wait, man, I
- 12:30Speaker 1: love it. So what's the deal now? Are you guys
- 12:32Speaker 1: on the way somewhere.
- 12:34Speaker 4: Yeah, so we are, we're packing up.
- 12:35Speaker 7: We're back at uh where her parents are staying, and
- 12:38Speaker 7: we're kind of re evaluating luggage and then we've got
- 12:41Speaker 7: five hour drive back to Portland's we're gonna drop the
- 12:43Speaker 7: marriage license off, the tucks off, all that stuff, and
- 12:46Speaker 7: then we fled at like nine.
- 12:47Speaker 6: To fifty tonight.
- 12:49Speaker 4: Yeah, tonight.
- 12:50Speaker 2: How long is the fly?
- 12:53Speaker 8: Uh, it's like six now it's like five and.
- 12:56Speaker 2: A half hours.
- 12:57Speaker 7: We fly from from Portland to Charlotte and then from
- 13:01Speaker 7: Charlotte to Saint Lucia.
- 13:02Speaker 1: Saying, Luisa, that long Portland East Coast and it's a
- 13:06Speaker 1: long one. Hey.
- 13:08Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 13:08Speaker 8: Maddie also said it's doctor very.
- 13:12Speaker 1: What's doc Hey is doctor bones too? Then that we're
- 13:17Speaker 1: enforcing that roll that good point, good point, Eddie.
- 13:20Speaker 4: Read in Saint Lucia, Are you getting one of those
- 13:22Speaker 4: uh little rooms on the water, Oh, like the.
- 13:26Speaker 2: Little like hut things. Yeah, it's not like that.
- 13:28Speaker 8: It is beach.
- 13:29Speaker 7: It is beachfront though, so it is one that you
- 13:31Speaker 7: can step outside and you're on the beach.
- 13:33Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Okay, well, private butler, it's freaking private butler. Fancy we
- 13:39Speaker 1: will let you get back to being Mary. We did
- 13:41Speaker 1: not think you would answer, Eddie.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Go ahead, Yeah, one more.
- 13:43Speaker 4: Question about the smoke. What was the smoke on the ground. Dude,
- 13:45Speaker 4: that looked amazing.
- 13:47Speaker 7: Dude, that was insane. He was like back there like
- 13:50Speaker 7: like just hitting stuff with his feet making.
- 13:52Speaker 9: It all go.
- 13:53Speaker 8: It was nuts.
- 13:54Speaker 1: He was like, he was like, that was insane. There
- 13:56Speaker 1: was a short and then all of a sudden, the
- 13:59Speaker 1: fireway we had thirty seconds before the extinguisher.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Literally, dude, it's.
- 14:03Speaker 7: Like every every package he offered, we were like, Okay, yep,
- 14:06Speaker 7: we'll take we'll take the smoke, we'll take sparks.
- 14:11Speaker 1: And so how long is your honeymoon? When do you
- 14:13Speaker 1: come back.
- 14:14Speaker 8: I'll be back on the thirteenth.
- 14:16Speaker 1: We will not call you. We will not call you
- 14:18Speaker 1: on your honeymoon.
- 14:20Speaker 7: I mean I might answer no, don't you know, don't
- 14:24Speaker 7: mean just here hear the ocean wind in the background.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Nope, Nope, not going to do it. It's like when
- 14:30Speaker 1: Kevin was like Kevin was like, hey, i'll work when
- 14:32Speaker 1: I take leave for my twins. I was like, Nope,
- 14:34Speaker 1: no you're not.
- 14:35Speaker 6: They so don't expect we're not going to call you.
- 14:37Speaker 1: All right, buddy, We love you. Congratulations, which we could
- 14:39Speaker 1: have been there. And uh you and and doctor Yarberry
- 14:43Speaker 1: have a great rest of the life. No, I say
- 14:47Speaker 1: the rest of the life.
- 14:47Speaker 4: They're married.
- 14:49Speaker 1: But I hope this from this moment forward, there's nothing
- 14:54Speaker 1: but prosperity.
- 14:56Speaker 8: Well, thank you, man, I love you guys. I appreciate y'all.
- 14:59Speaker 1: Okay, I talked to you somebody.
- 15:03Speaker 2: Brandon back.
- 15:03Speaker 4: Yeah that was kind of rude.
- 15:05Speaker 1: Yeah, I ran, I ran hard on Brandon, but it
- 15:07Speaker 1: was just sad because Brandon was there.
- 15:10Speaker 6: Oh oh, no, way, he was on the hold.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Brandon, you're still there.
- 15:15Speaker 8: I was.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Brandon waited on hold. Yeah, yeah, sorry about that. Reader
- 15:21Speaker 1: was just calling us back. You know, we had to
- 15:23Speaker 1: we had to prioritize old read or new read, and
- 15:26Speaker 1: we went with old read. Okay, So what happened to you?
- 15:32Speaker 2: Oh man?
- 15:33Speaker 9: So you know through of the first time, I was like, man,
- 15:36Speaker 9: I got to get out of these restricted spots, and
- 15:39Speaker 9: so I pulled into another spot, opened the door and
- 15:42Speaker 9: did the same thing.
- 15:44Speaker 1: So there's vomit spots in the garage.
- 15:47Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, I and I.
- 15:48Speaker 8: Even took pictures of him. Let me need it proof.
- 15:52Speaker 1: Don't send those Yeah, I'm sending them no, no, no, no,
- 15:55Speaker 1: we'll pass. I send him only to Eddie.
- 15:57Speaker 4: No, we're good.
- 15:58Speaker 1: So what did you eat? Or do you have a
- 15:59Speaker 1: stomach bug or what to deal? So figured it out.
- 16:05Speaker 8: I ate old eggs. I didn't realize these eggs.
- 16:08Speaker 9: Were expired, and our refrigerator and I'm texting my wife
- 16:14Speaker 9: and her mom's in town. She's like, wait, did he
- 16:18Speaker 9: eat the ones at the bottom, like the middle drawer?
- 16:21Speaker 8: And I was like, oh yeah. She's like, oh yeah,
- 16:23Speaker 8: we were supposed to throw those away. And so right
- 16:25Speaker 8: when she said that, I was I was kind of
- 16:28Speaker 8: like pulling off on an exit.
- 16:29Speaker 9: So I went to a Chick fil A and went
- 16:33Speaker 9: to the bathroom there and there was somebody using the
- 16:36Speaker 9: the stall as I was just standing at the urinal
- 16:39Speaker 9: like just praying he would he would stop so I
- 16:42Speaker 9: could get in there, you know.
- 16:44Speaker 1: And how do you feel now if it's food poisoning
- 16:47Speaker 1: for me? In my very because I have a really
- 16:49Speaker 1: weak stomach for different things. Once I get it all out,
- 16:52Speaker 1: I'm ninety three percent better within like ten minutes, unless
- 16:55Speaker 1: it's like an actual bug. How where do you fall
- 16:57Speaker 1: in that spectrum?
- 16:59Speaker 8: That's kind of where I'm at.
- 17:00Speaker 9: I was looking it up, like if you eat old eggs,
- 17:02Speaker 9: like he'd have salmonella or whatever. And so I've just
- 17:05Speaker 9: been like pounding water and I actually like, I feel
- 17:08Speaker 9: I'm feeling better.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Yeat good because we're working out A three.
- 17:12Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know if.
- 17:15Speaker 4: Hey look too much.
- 17:16Speaker 1: Here's well older reed. What we do with him was
- 17:19Speaker 1: he would he would be like, I hate salmon, and
- 17:21Speaker 1: I threw up. But he'd say that in the middle
- 17:23Speaker 1: of the workout, and I'd have a talk with him,
- 17:25Speaker 1: not during a workout, and I said, hey, man, if
- 17:27Speaker 1: there's ever anything that's going to keep you from working out,
- 17:29Speaker 1: just don't work out, because the last thing anybody wants
- 17:32Speaker 1: to hear is anybody whining about why they're working out
- 17:34Speaker 1: during the workout. I said, so if you had bad salmon,
- 17:37Speaker 1: just hey, guys, not feeling great, not gonna make it.
- 17:40Speaker 1: We would never say anything. We're constantly hurt or sick
- 17:43Speaker 1: or lazy or insert any of the But to show
- 17:47Speaker 1: up like Reidwood, I know it's twenty minutes in, but
- 17:51Speaker 1: I'd say some weird salmon they had curry, and we're like, dude,
- 17:56Speaker 1: why why did you not work out at all? I
- 17:58Speaker 1: just thought you guys would judge me if I did, and.
- 18:01Speaker 6: I know don't mind about it. So just like red Man,
- 18:06Speaker 6: so Brandon knows, he just doesn't show up, which is good.
- 18:09Speaker 6: Like in the studio thing.
- 18:11Speaker 1: Absolutely if you're sick, because Reid.
- 18:13Speaker 6: Would show me. I just threw up.
- 18:15Speaker 1: I literally threw up outside the door and have him
- 18:18Speaker 1: cleaned it up. You up the toilet, So you're You're
- 18:23Speaker 1: still welcome to work out if you want, but do
- 18:25Speaker 1: not feel like you need to or that even you should,
- 18:27Speaker 1: So we'll leave that up to you.
- 18:29Speaker 8: Hey, I appreciate that.
- 18:30Speaker 9: I'll see how I feel and and come over if
- 18:33Speaker 9: I'm feeling better, but I won't.
- 18:36Speaker 8: I won't do it if I'm not.
- 18:37Speaker 1: And the rule is if you do do it, you
- 18:39Speaker 1: can't talk about it.
- 18:40Speaker 8: Do it well, I would never talk about it.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Okay, buddy, feel better?
- 18:46Speaker 8: All right, I have a great show.
- 18:47Speaker 1: Guys, All right, bye, bye, man, We got you talk

- 20:36Speaker 1: Hey, there's a seventeen year old kid who has qualified
- 20:39Speaker 1: for the US Open. The literal US Open not a
- 20:42Speaker 1: qualifier because sometimes you do little aler to get in
- 20:45Speaker 1: the middle, a lord to get in the big. A
- 20:47Speaker 1: seventeen year old high school golfer put on a performance
- 20:51Speaker 1: for the ages according to Larry Brown Sports, and ended
- 20:53Speaker 1: up qualifying for the US Open. Mason Howe, a junior
- 20:56Speaker 1: high school junior go Mason Jeez, played thirty six holes
- 21:01Speaker 1: in a day at a qualifying event at Piedmont Driving
- 21:04Speaker 1: Club in Atlanta, Georgia. He carted sixty three in both
- 21:07Speaker 1: rounds for a final score of minus eighteen, landing him
- 21:11Speaker 1: one of the five available US Open spots.
- 21:13Speaker 4: Bro Let's go.
- 21:14Speaker 1: Seventeen year old playing in a major. His final scorecard
- 21:18Speaker 1: shows nine birdies in both rounds, no bogies. The US
- 21:21Speaker 1: Open is a PGA Tour third major. How about that.
- 21:24Speaker 6: That's wild, that's awesome.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm rooting for him. I'd love to just see
- 21:27Speaker 1: him up on the board somewhere.
- 21:29Speaker 4: Hey, let's just try, yeah, try to not get cut.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, well that's number two is yeah, try
- 21:34Speaker 1: to not get cut.
- 21:35Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 21:36Speaker 1: It'd be tough for me if I'm an amateur if
- 21:38Speaker 1: I were to make the cut. Let's say I finished
- 21:41Speaker 1: like nineteenth, and you're gonna make three hundred nineteen thousand dollars,
- 21:44Speaker 1: finish in nineteenth, but it ruins your amateur status. I
- 21:47Speaker 1: think I'd be like, I'm pro, yeah at three helmet,
- 21:50Speaker 1: and it'd be a bad decision for three hundred nineteen
- 21:52Speaker 1: thousand dollars.
- 21:53Speaker 4: To throw away all of your but you're all seventeen.
- 21:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I'd be like, I'd be like, yeah, I can
- 21:57Speaker 1: get a playcation for five, that's right in that moment,
- 21:59Speaker 1: you like, I would just do it before I even
- 22:01Speaker 1: told anybody.
- 22:02Speaker 4: Would just sign whatever it was the check and you'd
- 22:04Speaker 4: probably get invited to play the next US Open. Yeah,
- 22:06Speaker 4: you finish.
- 22:08Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 22:08Speaker 1: I think if you win it, you do get to
- 22:09Speaker 1: come back.
- 22:11Speaker 4: I can guaranteed, guaranteed if you win it, for sure,
- 22:13Speaker 4: but I think to be invited back, and there's a
- 22:16Speaker 4: certain point if you pass that you get invited back.
- 22:18Speaker 1: That's interesting. I don't know what the number is.
- 22:20Speaker 4: So we're going pro baby.
- 22:21Speaker 1: That would be awesome just to have the two greatest
- 22:24Speaker 1: days and then get in. Would you want to come
- 22:28Speaker 1: on Eddie?
- 22:29Speaker 2: Yep.
- 22:30Speaker 1: Let's say they gave you an exemption and you get
- 22:33Speaker 1: to play the US Open.
- 22:34Speaker 2: Yep.
- 22:35Speaker 1: Would you go and play it? And but you couldn't
- 22:39Speaker 1: be like, this is Eddie that sucks and it's on
- 22:42Speaker 1: television and you have to play for the back teas.
- 22:45Speaker 1: Would you go and still play it?
- 22:46Speaker 6: Yes?
- 22:48Speaker 1: Yes, you would hold it up so much, and I
- 22:50Speaker 1: would be I'd hold it up. I'd be looking for
- 22:52Speaker 1: my ball. Well, you wouldn't need to as much because
- 22:55Speaker 1: there are people got spotters, Yeah, no, just just people
- 22:57Speaker 1: in the galleries.
- 22:58Speaker 4: My drive would one hundred percent bee hundred and fifty
- 23:00Speaker 4: yard behind everyone else and be like, hold on, guys,
- 23:03Speaker 4: Eddie's first.
- 23:03Speaker 1: Again where it said he So you would play it though,
- 23:07Speaker 1: Oh dude.
- 23:07Speaker 4: That'd be the best two days of my life two
- 23:09Speaker 4: days because I definitely wouldn't make the cut. That would
- 23:12Speaker 4: be crazy. Would you do it?
- 23:13Speaker 1: I don't think so. Why not? Because if I couldn't
- 23:16Speaker 1: be the jokester and be like, yeah, I know, I
- 23:18Speaker 1: think I would, I would eventually just kind of be embarrassed.
- 23:21Speaker 6: Yeah, first couple holes would be funny enough that you're like, hmmmm,
- 23:25Speaker 6: because nobody else gets to be in on the joke.
- 23:27Speaker 1: If people get to be in on the joke, I'm in, like, yep,
- 23:31Speaker 1: I suck and that's Jordan's speed. But if they can't
- 23:35Speaker 1: be everybody would be irritated at me, all the golfers,
- 23:38Speaker 1: the fans. You couldn't tell anybody that I know, but for.
- 23:41Speaker 4: The rest of your life, you say I played the US.
- 23:43Speaker 1: Open, and then people would YouTube that craft.
- 23:45Speaker 6: You would go viral.
- 23:45Speaker 2: For sure.
- 23:48Speaker 1: I was watching game one of the Championship Series in softball.
- 23:53Speaker 1: If you allow me two minutes, because it's wild, would happen.
- 23:56Speaker 1: So it's like zero zero through five or whatever, and
- 23:59Speaker 1: Texas Tech and Tech sause they're playing for the championship.
- 24:01Speaker 1: First time Oklahoma hasn't won it in five years, first
- 24:04Speaker 1: time they haven't even been in the championship game. It's crazy.
- 24:06Speaker 1: So Texas Tech has the picture that's paid a million dollars.
- 24:10Speaker 1: We talked about her, Yes, first million dollar athlete. In softball,
- 24:13Speaker 1: she is dominating. It's zero zero. Texas ends up giving
- 24:17Speaker 1: up a run to Texas Tech and like the six,
- 24:20Speaker 1: I'm a little loose with this. It goes down to
- 24:23Speaker 1: the final inning and Texas ends up winning the game.
- 24:26Speaker 1: But they won because Texas Tech was intentionally walking somebody
- 24:29Speaker 1: and she couldn't intentionally walk.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Her right, she was this the same picture.
- 24:35Speaker 1: Actually, it's like she's so good she couldn't throw a ball.
- 24:37Speaker 1: So the catcher intentionally walk would get up but still
- 24:41Speaker 1: stay behind the plate, and they would throw the pictures
- 24:43Speaker 1: high instead of like in baseball, the catcher puts his
- 24:47Speaker 1: arm out to give the picture something aim to and
- 24:50Speaker 1: then as they throw, they scoot out and they catch
- 24:52Speaker 1: it out.
- 24:52Speaker 4: There, and they can't do that in softball.
- 24:54Speaker 1: And last night she would just stood up tall, and
- 24:56Speaker 1: she threw the first one and intentional and it was high,
- 25:01Speaker 1: and she let it go. Okay, you see the wheel
- 25:03Speaker 1: start to turn. She rips it. Maybe not the next one,
- 25:08Speaker 1: but the one after that. She gets a base hit,
- 25:09Speaker 1: wins a game. Now on an intentional walk pitch?
- 25:15Speaker 4: Was it also a high pitch? Yeah, okay, but it wasn't.
- 25:18Speaker 1: No, no, no, yes, but no. She stood up and
- 25:20Speaker 1: it was a little higher, but it was a little
- 25:22Speaker 1: lower than it should have been, even if you're throwing
- 25:23Speaker 1: it high. Did you see the pitch, casey, No, I haven't.
- 25:26Speaker 1: It was almost a strike, and she noticed it was
- 25:29Speaker 1: happening and that these intentional pitches weren't as far outside
- 25:32Speaker 1: or as high as they should be. Kevin, if you
- 25:34Speaker 1: watch it, yeah, you're gonna go wow, that was so
- 25:37Speaker 1: close to the strike zone.
- 25:38Speaker 6: Got to watch his ad first.
- 25:39Speaker 8: Sorry.
- 25:41Speaker 1: Yeah, and that's all the softball talk I'll do. But
- 25:44Speaker 1: where are we now? Are they want to know? It's
- 25:45Speaker 1: the best of three series for the championship. Texas lost
- 25:48Speaker 1: two times in the last few years to Oklahoma. It
- 25:50Speaker 1: was only one to nothing to it was only one
- 25:52Speaker 1: to nothing.
- 25:54Speaker 6: Watch your hit. Okay, they just showed one, So here's it,
- 25:59Speaker 6: and it really isn't that high. The first one right,
- 26:01Speaker 6: but the catcher did stand up.
- 26:02Speaker 1: Yeah, isn't that high?
- 26:03Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 26:03Speaker 6: I think they hit her like new right then like,
- 26:05Speaker 6: oh yeah, maybe I have a shot here. Oh yeah,
- 26:08Speaker 6: and then the girl okay, oh, second one, that's right
- 26:11Speaker 6: at her letters. Man, dude, it is right at her letters.
- 26:14Speaker 1: It's like borderline. It could be a it might slight ball,
- 26:17Speaker 1: but it's high. But it is right there.
- 26:20Speaker 4: Man, Why did she not just pitch outside?
- 26:21Speaker 2: I don't get it.
- 26:22Speaker 1: I don't I don't know.
- 26:23Speaker 6: Okay, third one, there was a third one. That one
- 26:25Speaker 6: was the highest one so far. Okay, that was up
- 26:28Speaker 6: and out. Definitely a ball. So she got to the fourth.
- 26:31Speaker 6: Here's the fourth one coming. Oh my god. It was
- 26:37Speaker 6: a grounder too.
- 26:39Speaker 1: Like too short? Wow, between short and third?
- 26:41Speaker 6: Yep, yep, exactly.
- 26:43Speaker 1: Dang, she pulled it between short and third.
- 26:46Speaker 4: That's crazy.
- 26:46Speaker 1: I thought.
- 26:46Speaker 6: I thought for sure she hit like a line drive
- 26:48Speaker 6: or something the gap. No, she was a grounder.
- 26:50Speaker 1: And the girls second, the girls in the infield are like,
- 26:54Speaker 1: we're intentionally walking the attention. Yeah, because yeah, why would
- 26:58Speaker 1: you why would you be down ready? And they were
- 27:01Speaker 1: kind of ready, but you're intentionally walking someone. They're not
- 27:03Speaker 1: gonna hit the ball. It's crazy.
- 27:05Speaker 6: Huh, dang, that hurts.
- 27:07Speaker 1: It's the best of three, right, it is best of three?
- 27:09Speaker 6: But that's like a blow.
- 27:10Speaker 1: I mean, so they'll play against today.
- 27:11Speaker 6: How do you recover from that game?
- 27:13Speaker 1: Texas Tech wins? Please Texas Tech?
- 27:16Speaker 4: Oh, because you don't like Texas.
- 27:18Speaker 1: Oh, I forgot to tell you, guys, I hate Texas No. Yeah,
- 27:23Speaker 1: I couldn't root any harder for Texas Tech, don't. I
- 27:27Speaker 1: don't dislike Texas Tech. I don't like Texas Tech, but
- 27:29Speaker 1: I don't dislike them. I don't have a relationship with them.
- 27:30Speaker 1: It's how people feel about Arkansas, like we don't win
- 27:32Speaker 1: enough to annoy people. Texas Tech doesn't win enough to
- 27:35Speaker 1: annoy people. But they don't lose all the time either,
- 27:38Speaker 1: so you don't feel sorry for them. It's not like
- 27:41Speaker 1: remove the last couple of Years's not like Vanderbilt football,
- 27:45Speaker 1: you know, or even Kentucky football before the last couple years.
- 27:48Speaker 1: Four stoops got over there and made it respectable program.
- 27:51Speaker 1: But yeah, there you go, crazy crazy, crazy way in
- 27:54Speaker 1: that sucks.
- 27:55Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 27:55Speaker 1: So I watched it up until almost all of it,
- 27:58Speaker 1: up until Text scored their run because there was a
- 28:02Speaker 1: whole interference play to which got lucky on the call
- 28:05Speaker 1: that they did review it like obstruction.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Uh.
- 28:08Speaker 1: And then I turned it off because I'm like, oh,
- 28:10Speaker 1: this is over. She doesn't give up runs. And then
- 28:13Speaker 1: I see text to score two runs and I pop
- 28:14Speaker 1: it on and just watch that the highlights, And that's
- 28:18Speaker 1: exactly what happened.
- 28:19Speaker 6: That's brutal.
- 28:21Speaker 1: There's recommended ages for men to stop doing specific things.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Would you like to hear them? Yeah?
- 28:24Speaker 4: Yes, it's a recommendation, though we don't do anything.
- 28:27Speaker 1: I'll give you what it is and you tell me
- 28:30Speaker 1: what what you eddie the age you think should happen?
- 28:35Speaker 2: Love it? Okay?
- 28:36Speaker 7: Uh.
- 28:38Speaker 1: So at Alpha M they compile the list of some
- 28:40Speaker 1: of these very things and they've attached to age where
- 28:43Speaker 1: it's time the guy stops doing it. Number one living
- 28:45Speaker 1: with your parents? Or should I just say what year
- 28:49Speaker 1: did you stop?
- 28:49Speaker 2: Did you still?
- 28:51Speaker 1: I don't want to do that because then it's him
- 28:53Speaker 1: not playing a character or what he thinks is the
- 28:55Speaker 1: best version, not a character. It's what I think. No, No,
- 28:58Speaker 1: you do you with your parents? Why did you stop
- 29:01Speaker 1: living with your parents? Age twenty.
- 29:06Speaker 4: Two?
- 29:07Speaker 1: You moved out twenty two? Yeah?
- 29:08Speaker 4: I went to college when I was twenty two because
- 29:10Speaker 4: I went to the local college. First, stayed in town,
- 29:12Speaker 4: live with my parents.
- 29:13Speaker 6: Would you wait for four years? You were at community college?
- 29:18Speaker 4: Yes, four years, and then you went to you know, yeah,
- 29:21Speaker 4: I was working. I was doing job at the new station,
- 29:24Speaker 4: going to school half part time. Did that for four years,
- 29:27Speaker 4: then finished two years samuseon State.
- 29:29Speaker 1: So you did six years of college?
- 29:30Speaker 4: Yeah, man, six years? So you lived there not a
- 29:32Speaker 4: doctor four Yeah. They say that's a twenty two.
- 29:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:35Speaker 4: Yeah, but if you're nineteen twenty twenty. Yeah, I went
- 29:39Speaker 4: to college twenty two.
- 29:40Speaker 1: But you just said you did six years of college. Yes,
- 29:42Speaker 1: that'll be twenty four if you spent all six years
- 29:45Speaker 1: I graduate.
- 29:45Speaker 4: Well yeah, yeah, So you lived.
- 29:48Speaker 1: A home until twenty four?
- 29:49Speaker 4: We wit did twenty four years old? Yeah, I lived
- 29:51Speaker 4: at hometel. It's twenty four. But I mean my parents
- 29:53Speaker 4: were very cool.
- 29:54Speaker 8: Well, no, I hear you.
- 29:54Speaker 1: I'm just saying you try to get away with one
- 29:56Speaker 1: there at twenty four.
- 29:57Speaker 4: No, I just forgot dude, it's been a long time.
- 30:00Speaker 1: How long did you live in home?
- 30:02Speaker 6: I was twenty three when I got back from college.
- 30:04Speaker 1: One year.
- 30:05Speaker 6: But I'm not lying here. I went to call. I
- 30:07Speaker 6: went to community college.
- 30:08Speaker 4: For three wasn't in a line. I was trying to
- 30:09Speaker 4: remember it.
- 30:11Speaker 6: Yeah, and then I went to university and came back and.
- 30:13Speaker 8: Live on my ode.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I was seventeen.
- 30:15Speaker 4: Yeah, you had to go.
- 30:17Speaker 1: You gotta gotta.
- 30:18Speaker 4: Didn't you tell your did you say?
- 30:20Speaker 1: Like they didn't know where I was going to college
- 30:21Speaker 1: all the day before I left and I was like, hey, guys,
- 30:24Speaker 1: I'm going to college. And he just walked out the
- 30:26Speaker 1: door and yeah. My mom was like really. I was
- 30:28Speaker 1: like yeah, I said, I'm going I'll be living like
- 30:32Speaker 1: two hours away. All right, cool, when are you leaving tomorrow? Okay?
- 30:36Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 30:36Speaker 1: And that was it.
- 30:37Speaker 4: It's like Rudy packed up.
- 30:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:39Speaker 1: I mean I had like three things, packed up a
- 30:41Speaker 1: few clothes and went and lived in the dorm.
- 30:43Speaker 2: That's crazy.
- 30:44Speaker 1: Yeah, twenty five. They say, oh okay, yeah, recommended age.
- 30:49Speaker 1: You got to stop doing.
- 30:50Speaker 4: That's what we're all in. We're all in the wheelhouse.
- 30:52Speaker 1: Yeah, that twenty five seams old for that.
- 30:54Speaker 4: It is, man, I want all my kids out eighteen done.
- 30:57Speaker 6: But like, do you count I know plenty people that
- 30:59Speaker 6: moved down at say eighteen nineteen twenty and then move
- 31:02Speaker 6: back in maybeh they were twenty two to twenty three
- 31:04Speaker 6: for a couple of years, because they're like, oh, I
- 31:05Speaker 6: don't know if I can do this.
- 31:06Speaker 1: Actually, I think that's fine because you have intentions of
- 31:10Speaker 1: doing it yourself. And if there is a struggle and
- 31:12Speaker 1: you need assistance, I think it's okay to move back
- 31:13Speaker 1: home and receive assistance from your parents.
- 31:15Speaker 9: Ok.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Yeah, I think if you stay for more than a
- 31:18Speaker 1: couple of years, it's no longer assistance. That's just you
- 31:21Speaker 1: enjoying the stability. And I wonder if the parents like that, Like,
- 31:25Speaker 1: I know parents like to have their kids around, but
- 31:27Speaker 1: move back in.
- 31:28Speaker 4: I don't think so.
- 31:31Speaker 1: Maybe I don't know.
- 31:33Speaker 4: I don't want my kids moving back.
- 31:35Speaker 1: In until they're all gone.
- 31:36Speaker 4: Dude. Yeah, and I might change.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Yeah. Maybe some of them you want to move back in.
- 31:40Speaker 1: Some them you want to be gone. It's a good
- 31:41Speaker 1: point too, and it's not because you love them anymore
- 31:43Speaker 1: or less, but some are just easier than others. Yeah,
- 31:46Speaker 1: twenty five unless you're attending school, caring for your parents,
- 31:49Speaker 1: or another valid reason taking money from your parents. At
- 31:51Speaker 1: what age did you stop doing that? Fully?
- 31:53Speaker 2: Atti forty?
- 31:56Speaker 1: Now, Remember I know a lot about you.
- 31:57Speaker 4: I know you do so to call you out.
- 32:00Speaker 1: I know a lot about taking money.
- 32:02Speaker 4: If I'm taking.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Money any hell, but all any assistance to your parents.
- 32:05Speaker 1: So like, if my dad gave me his car, that
- 32:07Speaker 1: would count as But if he gave it to give
- 32:09Speaker 1: it to you just once, the last thing he gave
- 32:12Speaker 1: you would count is that if it were like a
- 32:13Speaker 1: lump gift, like a gift gift.
- 32:15Speaker 4: But I was paying on the car, so I took
- 32:17Speaker 4: over the payments.
- 32:18Speaker 1: But he gave me the car, so I'd say, but
- 32:20Speaker 1: I would say that's a lump gift that since you
- 32:22Speaker 1: are going to pay That lump gift is when he
- 32:24Speaker 1: gives you the car, not the entire duration of having
- 32:26Speaker 1: the car, because then you're paying on it. I like it.
- 32:29Speaker 1: When did we move here thirteen?
- 32:32Speaker 2: Okay?
- 32:34Speaker 4: So yeah, twenty thirteen, I'd say a year after we
- 32:38Speaker 4: moved here. That's when I cut so around age thirty five? Yeah, okay, Kevin.
- 32:45Speaker 6: Yeah, last year when I bought my house, they helped
- 32:47Speaker 6: me with the down payment.
- 32:48Speaker 1: How old are you?
- 32:50Speaker 6: Thirty four? So it was thirty three of the time.
- 32:52Speaker 1: You're edging Eddie on all these Yeah, he's barely beddy me.
- 32:57Speaker 2: It's weird. Fourteen, oh man.
- 33:00Speaker 6: So this actually be like a spoiled child.
- 33:06Speaker 1: No, youse, guys are good. I mean you would have
- 33:09Speaker 1: taken it if it was available for you, absolutely.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:13Speaker 1: Of course I'm not hating on anybody for taking it.
- 33:16Speaker 1: You are your environment. Yeah, yeah, yeah, I wish I
- 33:19Speaker 1: had it. I'm resentful that.
- 33:20Speaker 4: I didn't question for Kevin, did you ask for it
- 33:23Speaker 4: or was it given to you?
- 33:24Speaker 9: No?
- 33:24Speaker 6: They gave it to me. Yeah, they said, like we've
- 33:26Speaker 6: been saving for this, like we've wanted to do this.
- 33:28Speaker 1: Here's one that I will not look that good. Video games.
- 33:34Speaker 1: I mean, when did you stop playing them this morning?
- 33:36Speaker 1: And I haven't stopped this. I mean that's mostly the
- 33:39Speaker 1: last time I've played was this morning. Now I don't
- 33:41Speaker 1: it doesn't matter what I don't do, because it's the same.
- 33:43Speaker 1: If you play, you play. I don't get online and
- 33:45Speaker 1: play with people I don't know. I don't even play
- 33:48Speaker 1: online at all.
- 33:49Speaker 4: Right now.
- 33:50Speaker 1: I do have PGA. I've been playing that a little bit.
- 33:52Speaker 1: It's what I do if I wake up at two
- 33:54Speaker 1: in the mornings. My separator like to get my brain
- 33:57Speaker 1: to stop being crazy. So there's a difference though, Like
- 34:00Speaker 1: you're a gamer, yeah, I play, I play PlayStation yeah,
- 34:02Speaker 1: you're a gamer. I played three games, mostly one game,
- 34:06Speaker 1: which is football, so either Madden or College, well depends.
- 34:09Speaker 1: This last year was all college, no Madden, but it's
- 34:12Speaker 1: been Madden in the past. I got on a big
- 34:13Speaker 1: two K kick.
- 34:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
- 34:15Speaker 1: In the last couple of months, played no football. Just
- 34:17Speaker 1: fired up PGA because I'm bored with basketball, because I
- 34:20Speaker 1: guess because basketball is over too. I mean it's a
- 34:24Speaker 1: final game.
- 34:26Speaker 6: Football. I'm ready for football.
- 34:28Speaker 1: Yeah, video game so still currently?
- 34:30Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean I played my son last week.
- 34:32Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 34:32Speaker 6: So yeah, I don't know, maybe ten years ago.
- 34:34Speaker 4: Okay, so what's your age?
- 34:37Speaker 6: Thirty four?
- 34:38Speaker 1: They say twenty four is about the time you should stop.
- 34:40Speaker 6: There we go.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Oh, nailed it, There we go. But I think that's
- 34:42Speaker 1: unfair because I think gaming has turned from just playing
- 34:45Speaker 1: Atari and Donkey Kong for just recreational. The people actually like,
- 34:49Speaker 1: make a career off this.
- 34:50Speaker 2: If you're good, you're making a career. I'm not.
- 34:52Speaker 1: But I know somebody, I'm an idiot. I'm a dope.
- 34:55Speaker 1: Like I'm somebody they're talking to. I'm a dopey.
- 34:58Speaker 6: He plays for the Nets team. They have like a team.
- 34:59Speaker 1: Yeah, they draft real players.
- 35:01Speaker 6: Yeah, and he like fis back there for the season
- 35:03Speaker 6: and plays and just paid a bunch of money.
- 35:05Speaker 4: Well, there's a period where I couldn't play because I
- 35:07Speaker 4: had a family, you know, like a family, and.
- 35:08Speaker 1: You still have a family.
- 35:09Speaker 4: But I can play with my kids though, I know,
- 35:11Speaker 4: but you know what I mean, like even then babies
- 35:13Speaker 4: like Kevin can't play with his babies.
- 35:15Speaker 1: I remind you, I know too much about you, because
- 35:17Speaker 1: there was a time when Eddie had babies and you'd
- 35:19Speaker 1: hear a baby crying in the back and be like,
- 35:21Speaker 1: hold on, pose it. Yeah, he would pause it, or
- 35:27Speaker 1: he'd play holding the baby like he'd have the baby
- 35:30Speaker 1: on it was yeah, yeah, So there really wasn't an
- 35:34Speaker 1: era of no playing, just strategically different playing. Okay, partying,
- 35:42Speaker 1: They're fine partying, it says, to be clear. Everybody loves
- 35:44Speaker 1: a good party, but the days of making it an
- 35:47Speaker 1: every other weekend type thing should probably be done by
- 35:50Speaker 1: the time you're blank. I'll give you their age. But
- 35:52Speaker 1: when did you stop partying? So let's say twice a
- 35:55Speaker 1: month drinking more than four beers in a setting.
- 35:58Speaker 4: I mean party do when we hit the road, I
- 36:00Speaker 4: would party. I would say I stopped at four forty forty.
- 36:08Speaker 6: Uh three weeks ago when I had the kids. Yeah,
- 36:12Speaker 6: you're not just for now, No, I'm not. I'm ready
- 36:14Speaker 6: to go with video games this morning.
- 36:17Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, yeah for me the day I was infant.
- 36:21Speaker 2: Never I was born.
- 36:22Speaker 6: Yeahout the womb.
- 36:24Speaker 1: Financial responsibility is kind of a different one. Hooking up marriage,
- 36:27Speaker 1: Did you stop hooking up?
- 36:29Speaker 6: Does not do that?
- 36:31Speaker 1: Okay, here's one I'm not gonna farewell at. Come on,
- 36:34Speaker 1: dressing like a teenager?
- 36:37Speaker 4: Okay, I think it's just like jerseys and stuff like
- 36:41Speaker 4: as I have one on it too, be fair. I've
- 36:45Speaker 4: put this on for this specifically, that sideway out there.
- 36:48Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 36:49Speaker 4: I'd say, when did I stop doing it? I mean
- 36:53Speaker 4: I was dressed. I dressed not like a teenager, like
- 36:56Speaker 4: ever really, so I would say twenty five, yeah, I.
- 37:02Speaker 6: Mean maybe late twenties, thirty. But then you don't really
- 37:07Speaker 6: start until you get a female in your life that
- 37:10Speaker 6: tells you like, hey, this is a good way to dress.
- 37:12Speaker 6: Then you're like, okay, I agree. But I don't know
- 37:14Speaker 6: if I was dressing a teenager before, but I definitely
- 37:16Speaker 6: am dressing better now.
- 37:18Speaker 1: I think that's probably a better way to describe it,
- 37:20Speaker 1: Like immaturely dressing, yeah, instead of like a teenager, because
- 37:24Speaker 1: I don't dress like a teenager. But it's like, I
- 37:27Speaker 1: have a job in the creative world and I wear
- 37:33Speaker 1: what works in that space. Sure, I definitely have a
- 37:36Speaker 1: uniform ish now, but I used to just wear hoodies
- 37:39Speaker 1: and pajamas and whatever I wanted because I never had
- 37:41Speaker 1: to do anything else.
- 37:43Speaker 4: And what age was that?
- 37:45Speaker 1: Well yesterday? I mean I still can there there's no
- 37:49Speaker 1: judgment on what I wear because I work in a
- 37:52Speaker 1: creative space. So yeah, that one I lose on big time.
- 37:57Speaker 1: See if we do one more waiting for the perfect timing,
- 38:01Speaker 1: what does that mean? It's like, when did you decide? Eh,
- 38:03Speaker 1: that really isn't a perfect timing for anything? Less' just
- 38:05Speaker 1: going to do it.
- 38:07Speaker 4: You insinuate in like a marriage.
- 38:10Speaker 1: Marriage, have a kid, make a big job.
- 38:12Speaker 4: Choice kid wasn't planned. I think a lot aren't. The
- 38:19Speaker 4: wedding for me, was it? And I got married at
- 38:23Speaker 4: twenty nine? Yeah, twenty eight, twenty nine, that's what you'd say.
- 38:29Speaker 4: That's my age where I was just like, yeah, you, Kevin.
- 38:33Speaker 6: When I moved to Nashville four years ago, when I
- 38:35Speaker 6: was just like, oh, I can wait until this and
- 38:37Speaker 6: this and my money's right and this, and then and
- 38:39Speaker 6: I was like, you know what, dropped everything and left
- 38:41Speaker 6: and came here.
- 38:43Speaker 1: That's a weird question. I don't think I ever waited
- 38:45Speaker 1: for the perfect timing. There were things I thought would
- 38:47Speaker 1: never happen. I never thought I would get married, just
- 38:50Speaker 1: because I never saw like a successful marriage, because I'd
- 38:53Speaker 1: have a model of that growing up. So and then
- 38:55Speaker 1: I never just met anybody. I was like, I'm not
- 38:57Speaker 1: sacrificing anything for these as.
- 39:01Speaker 4: Something our uncles would say, yeah yeah.
- 39:05Speaker 1: So never in my mind until I my wife, did
- 39:08Speaker 1: I think that there would be a human that would
- 39:11Speaker 1: make me at least want to sacrifice part of what
- 39:14Speaker 1: I was doing professionally for that other human. So I
- 39:17Speaker 1: never waited. I just never thought it would happen. So
- 39:20Speaker 1: it's like I was like, I'll never get married, and
- 39:22Speaker 1: I didn't think I would ever have a kid, and
- 39:26Speaker 1: we're not waiting for any perfect timing for that either
- 39:28Speaker 1: will eventually have kids. But I don't know that I've
- 39:31Speaker 1: ever waited on timing or anything, because I've always felt
- 39:34Speaker 1: like I could do whatever I wanted, whenever I want,
- 39:36Speaker 1: even as a kid. And it's like, but I always
- 39:38Speaker 1: felt like the world was completely bendable, and I was
- 39:41Speaker 1: two good decisions away from something awesome happening, two good
- 39:44Speaker 1: strategic decisions and a bunch of healthy choices away from
- 39:48Speaker 1: something awesome happening. And so, yeah, perfect timing not with thing,
- 39:51Speaker 1: because I always felt like I could be quicker than
- 39:53Speaker 1: even the timing would told me on the positive side
- 39:55Speaker 1: of it, more than if you wait too long, you know.
- 39:58Speaker 1: That's Do you ever see Idiocracy? No so idiot a movie?
- 40:02Speaker 1: He has a Mike Judge movie. And the whole point
- 40:05Speaker 1: of idiocracy is all the idiots are having a million kids,
- 40:08Speaker 1: and all the people that are waiting for the perfect timing,
- 40:10Speaker 1: like the really educated, worldly people, like we're gonna wait
- 40:16Speaker 1: to the perfect moment. But what happens is because there
- 40:19Speaker 1: are so many idiots having all these idiotic kids, they
- 40:21Speaker 1: end up taking over the world. And all the really
- 40:23Speaker 1: educational they have, there's like four educated children because everybody
- 40:27Speaker 1: waited for perfect timing. That's got a great cast, Yeah,
- 40:30Speaker 1: super famous the movie. Yeah, concept is awesome.
- 40:34Speaker 4: Mike Judge is awesome.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Yeah, Okay, thanks for playing along, guys.
- 40:39Speaker 2: Yeah that was good.
- 40:40Speaker 4: Thanks for putting us on front Street. I put myself
- 40:43Speaker 4: there yeah.
- 40:43Speaker 2: All of us.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Shak revealed his NBA all time goat list before I
- 40:48Speaker 1: read you his Just give me your top three NBA
- 40:50Speaker 1: players of all time, Eddie.
- 40:51Speaker 4: Michael Jordan, Lebron James, and Kobe Bryant.
- 40:55Speaker 6: Kevin Uh, Kobe Bryant, Lebron James, and Steph Curry.
- 41:01Speaker 1: Michael Jordan's on your top three.
- 41:02Speaker 6: Well, I'm still too young. I don't remember it. I
- 41:06Speaker 6: remember him as a wizard.
- 41:07Speaker 1: You don't have to remember him. Like if you said,
- 41:09Speaker 1: name ten great baseball players, I put baby Bruce.
- 41:12Speaker 6: Okay, I think you meant like in our lifetime, just
- 41:14Speaker 6: in general. Yes, who's the greatest?
- 41:16Speaker 1: Ever?
- 41:16Speaker 6: Go Michael Jordan, Michael Jordan, Lebron j Michael Jordan, then Kobe,
- 41:21Speaker 6: then Lebron.
- 41:22Speaker 1: I would go, Lebron, Jordan, Kobe. Oh so we all
- 41:26Speaker 1: have the same three, same three, different order. Here's Shacks one.
- 41:30Speaker 1: Michael Jordan.
- 41:32Speaker 4: That's interesting because he's always argued for Kobe like clips
- 41:36Speaker 4: that I've seen is always just like a timeless Yeah,
- 41:39Speaker 4: I've seen him actually say that.
- 41:40Speaker 1: He has Michael Jordan one, Kobe at two. There you go,
- 41:45Speaker 1: three Lebron. Who'd you guys put it for.
- 41:50Speaker 4: I'd say Kareem Larry Bird, Yeah, Magic.
- 41:58Speaker 1: I think this point, I think there's a Steph argument.
- 42:05Speaker 4: I mean there is.
- 42:06Speaker 1: Yeah, he has won four titles. He did change how
- 42:10Speaker 1: basketball has played. Even if you're annoyed with all the
- 42:12Speaker 1: three pointers, like he changed it. Agreed, Steph is the guy,
- 42:15Speaker 1: Magic Johnson, he has his four, Bill Russell at five, Well, Bird,
- 42:20Speaker 1: Hakeem Duncan, Julius Irving.
- 42:23Speaker 4: Duncan's in there. That's awesome. He didn't put himself in there. Interesting.
- 42:31Speaker 1: He starts his list saying he put himself at number ten,
- 42:33Speaker 1: but then he removed himself on making the list. But
- 42:36Speaker 1: even at ten, I'm surprised. Yeah, I'm surprised he didn't
- 42:39Speaker 1: put himself at like three or maybe four. Yeah, you know,
- 42:43Speaker 1: if I'm going to think about it, I think Shaq
- 42:44Speaker 1: gets a top five player ball. I think Shaq is
- 42:48Speaker 1: maybe four. Him and Steph I think are in that
- 42:51Speaker 1: same like next up to be in the greatest. They're
- 42:55Speaker 1: not the greatest because that I think we all can agree.
- 42:57Speaker 1: It's Jordan Lebron and Kobe and whatever or you want
- 43:00Speaker 1: to put it in. But I think there's that second tier,
- 43:02Speaker 1: and I think Shaq is in the second tier, and
- 43:04Speaker 1: so a step and so is Kareem, and so is
- 43:09Speaker 1: the team and Magic and Bird. Yeah that's that second tier,
- 43:12Speaker 1: not god tier, but a tier. Yeah yeah, that's fine.

- 45:05Speaker 1: in sports. Okay, at seven of these, I need you

- 45:11Speaker 4: Are we writing down?
- 45:12Speaker 1: Yeah, you're gonna need to round one. Clear eyes, full hearts,
- 45:21Speaker 1: can't lose.
- 45:24Speaker 4: I mean, how specific do any I need to know
- 45:26Speaker 4: the name of the person said it?
- 45:27Speaker 2: Oh my god? Yeah, man, that's stupid, Kevin.
- 45:50Speaker 6: I haven't I have a face in my mind, but
- 45:51Speaker 6: I can't think of a name.
- 45:52Speaker 1: If you have no name, run down, there's no opportunity
- 45:55Speaker 1: to get a point. Okay, I'm ready, case you in. Yeah, Kevin,
- 46:00Speaker 1: your answer David Hasselhoff Classic. He would lifeguarding be a sport?
- 46:09Speaker 2: Yeah, maybe.
- 46:11Speaker 1: That's not a sport. Swimming would be, but lifeguardening, No, Casey,
- 46:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna go Vince Lambardi Eddie.
- 46:18Speaker 4: It's Kyle Chandler, but he's coach. I don't know his name,
- 46:22Speaker 4: so I wrote down mccringleberry.
- 46:24Speaker 1: Classic, coach, mccringleberry. What's the greatest Christmas Time coach of all?
- 46:29Speaker 1: Coach Coach Taylor Friday. They are coach Taylor Friday night.
- 46:35Speaker 4: I saw that dude the bathroom in a movie theater.
- 46:38Speaker 4: Kyle Chandler, you say, what up?
- 46:39Speaker 6: Yeah, I did.
- 46:40Speaker 1: It was just a moment where I just like forgot
- 46:42Speaker 1: that he doesn't.
- 46:42Speaker 4: Know me, Coachberry and I know I don't know him,
- 46:47Speaker 4: but like I've seen the show, so I was just like,
- 46:49Speaker 4: what's up, dude. He's like, hey, Okay, good to see you.
- 46:54Speaker 1: Next up? Who said it? I'm just here so I
- 46:58Speaker 1: won't get fined? Ready, Yeah, my transfers down, Okay.
- 47:03Speaker 4: Okay, I'm in.
- 47:06Speaker 10: I'm in, Casey, mister, Marshawn Lynch, Eddie Mark, Shawn Lynch, Kevin.
- 47:15Speaker 6: Yep, beast Mode, Marsham Good.
- 47:18Speaker 4: I'm here so I won't get fine legendary.
- 47:22Speaker 1: Next up. I've missed more than nine thousand shots in
- 47:25Speaker 1: my career. That's why I succeed.
- 47:31Speaker 2: I'm in.
- 47:31Speaker 6: I'm ready to Kevin Wayne Gretzky.
- 47:36Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 47:37Speaker 1: Oh, you're thinking of the Michael Scott quote. That's a
- 47:41Speaker 1: quote of ran Wayne Gretzky's quote, you miss every shot
- 47:44Speaker 1: you don't take. I know that there's two that's what
- 47:49Speaker 1: you're thinking of. It's not way, that's Wayne Gretzky. Okay,
- 47:52Speaker 1: then I know who it, Casey.
- 47:53Speaker 10: I'm gonna go with Kobe Bryant also incorrect, Eddie, I
- 47:57Speaker 10: put Kobe down.
- 47:57Speaker 1: He correct Michael Jordan.
- 48:00Speaker 6: With Michael or Wayne one of the two. Yeah, not
- 48:03Speaker 6: Michael Scott though.
- 48:05Speaker 1: Next up. A team is something you belong to, something
- 48:08Speaker 1: you feel, something you have to earn.
- 48:17Speaker 2: Let's just see what sticks.
- 48:19Speaker 1: Very famous quote. A team is something you belong to,
- 48:22Speaker 1: something you feel, something you earn.
- 48:25Speaker 2: Let me know when you're in. I'm in, Oh man,
- 48:32Speaker 2: I guess I'm in. One more.
- 48:34Speaker 6: Type of team is something you belong to.
- 48:36Speaker 1: A team is something you belong to, something you feel,
- 48:38Speaker 1: you have to earn.
- 48:39Speaker 9: Like that.
- 48:41Speaker 4: Did you say it like they say it?
- 48:43Speaker 5: No?
- 48:43Speaker 1: If I were saying it like that, I would go.
- 48:45Speaker 1: A team is something you belong to, something you feel,
- 48:48Speaker 1: something you have to earn.
- 48:50Speaker 4: Good that makes it?
- 48:51Speaker 6: If I'm ready, Kevin Kurt Russell, what.
- 48:58Speaker 4: Wait, you wouldn't like for a character?
- 49:00Speaker 9: Now?
- 49:00Speaker 11: Not the person who said it, Casey, I was gonna
- 49:03Speaker 11: say al Pacino from any given Sunday.
- 49:05Speaker 1: I wouldn't need al Pacino's name and the.
- 49:08Speaker 9: Right.
- 49:08Speaker 4: That's why it's Vince Lombardi actually coach Gordon Bombay.
- 49:14Speaker 1: From The Mighty play by Emilia.
- 49:18Speaker 6: See how okay, I have the right sport. At least.
- 49:22Speaker 1: There's no at least and there's no I was gonna
- 49:24Speaker 1: say those are my pet peeves, like when you missing.
- 49:26Speaker 1: I was gonna say this instead, half a point, next step.
- 49:29Speaker 1: I don't play defense. I let the other guys tire
- 49:32Speaker 1: themselves out. I don't play defense. I let the other
- 49:41Speaker 1: guys tire themselves out.
- 49:47Speaker 4: Mh, I'm in me too. Could you say like he
- 49:54Speaker 4: says it, I.
- 49:55Speaker 1: Don't play defense. I'll let the other guys tire themselves out. Dang,
- 50:00Speaker 1: I'm wrong, man, I know.
- 50:04Speaker 6: Kevin, I don't know why I'm going j R. Smith.
- 50:09Speaker 4: I thought Lawrence Taylor, but now I'm thinking mister t After.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Oh I'm Eddie, I have Dick Bush. No, it's patches
- 50:17Speaker 1: of Hula Han from dodgeball. My, oh my gosh, dodgeball coach, you.
- 50:23Speaker 2: Know it comes in.
- 50:24Speaker 1: You can dodge w rench, you can do Okay, Okay,
- 50:28Speaker 1: I'm not worried about the pressure. Pressure is something you
- 50:31Speaker 1: feel when you don't know what you're doing.
- 50:37Speaker 6: I'm ready, I'm in.
- 50:38Speaker 10: Yeah, I need too, Casey, I'm gonna go Brady, Kevin,
- 50:42Speaker 10: Larry Bird, Eddie, Kobe, Chuck Nole.
- 50:49Speaker 1: One more coach. Yeah, one more, great moments are born
- 50:54Speaker 1: from great opportunity. Can you say like he says, great
- 51:04Speaker 1: moments are born from great opportunity, I'm ready and the
- 51:11Speaker 1: origin that is Latin.
- 51:14Speaker 8: I'm in.
- 51:17Speaker 1: I guess, I'm in Casey. Uh, Phil Jackson, I guess all.
- 51:23Speaker 2: I guess.
- 51:23Speaker 1: Kevin tom Brady, did you go with your boyfriend every time?
- 51:28Speaker 1: That's the only time I said, you're the boyfriend?
- 51:31Speaker 2: Eddie?
- 51:32Speaker 4: I put Kevin Garnett.
- 51:34Speaker 1: It's Herb Brooks played by Kurt Russell and miracles.
- 51:41Speaker 2: That's so dum.
- 51:42Speaker 1: Did anybody get any of them right?
- 51:44Speaker 4: We all got so, we tied, we all got a makeout.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Now wait, no, you.
- 51:54Speaker 2: It goes.
- 51:54Speaker 1: We didn't agree to that.
- 51:55Speaker 4: I'm on Casey, but I do agree.
- 51:57Speaker 1: Now, I do agree now, Pacers and Thunder this is
- 52:05Speaker 1: and I do think the ratings will be better than
- 52:06Speaker 1: what everybody's saying. They're going to be as far as bad.
- 52:09Speaker 1: I think all that talk about how bad they are
- 52:11Speaker 1: helping them actually be better. Yeah, yeah, and I think
- 52:13Speaker 1: that'll be interesting. Do you see where the plane the Pacers,
- 52:16Speaker 1: maybe the Thunder's plane whatever, they were going through a
- 52:19Speaker 1: storm and had to turn around. Really yeah, they're very
- 52:21Speaker 1: close to each other. There's like Missouri to separates that.
- 52:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:24Speaker 6: Yeah, they could take a bus.
- 52:26Speaker 1: Yeah, and they were flying and the storm was so
- 52:28Speaker 1: bad that they like turn around.
- 52:29Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 52:30Speaker 1: So it's the first time that two markets outside the
- 52:33Speaker 1: top twenty in side of the Messa's nineteen seventy one.
- 52:35Speaker 4: That's awesome.
- 52:36Speaker 1: I do think that all of the attention there will
- 52:39Speaker 1: be no attention is creating more attention, and I think
- 52:42Speaker 1: that's fine. Yeah, I think it'll be a fun series.
- 52:44Speaker 1: And then Halliburton's dad's not allowed, right, isn't he allowed
- 52:48Speaker 1: back now? It was allowed in the suites. Yeah, I
- 52:50Speaker 1: think he's allowed back. Oh so he can't get into
- 52:52Speaker 1: the lower level. I think the one role they've put
- 52:54Speaker 1: on him is no punching other players. That's a good one.
- 52:57Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the role he was.
- 52:59Speaker 1: Yeah, he was a ow to not be on the
- 53:01Speaker 1: on the floor or in the court, but in a
- 53:03Speaker 1: swite only. So yeah, there you have it. Lebron reveals
- 53:08Speaker 1: the biggest problem with youth sports today. I'll ask you,
- 53:10Speaker 1: how do you have kids in youth sports? What's the
- 53:12Speaker 1: biggest problem the parents? The parents and their expectations for
- 53:15Speaker 1: their kids. I think they put too much pressure on
- 53:17Speaker 1: their kids when really the kids, I think more than
- 53:21Speaker 1: half of the kids don't even really want to play
- 53:24Speaker 1: youth sports at the level that they play. That's interesting
- 53:27Speaker 1: that that's where you go with parents. I thought you
- 53:29Speaker 1: would say parents because they won't shut up, like screaming
- 53:31Speaker 1: at the refs or the amps or the kids and
- 53:33Speaker 1: fighting with each other.
- 53:34Speaker 4: That happens too, But I think that they that gets regulated,
- 53:38Speaker 4: you know, like nothing really escalates to anything when that happens. Yes,
- 53:41Speaker 4: their parents verbal like say like I was talking to
- 53:44Speaker 4: a ref the other day and I was like, how
- 53:45Speaker 4: the parents today? Actually the parents a pretty good today.
- 53:48Speaker 4: You know, certain tournaments the parents are really bad, but
- 53:51Speaker 4: today was pretty tamed.
- 53:53Speaker 1: Lebron says from the Mind the Game podcast, he says
- 53:56Speaker 1: that it's too many kids and it could be parent based.
- 54:00Speaker 1: Too many kids are focused on one sport all year
- 54:01Speaker 1: round and they get burned out because it's all one
- 54:04Speaker 1: sport all the time. That when he was in school,
- 54:07Speaker 1: I mean Lebron was like the number one football player
- 54:09Speaker 1: in Ohio as well, so that he played all the sports.
- 54:14Speaker 1: And so even your coaches. We've talked to coaches at
- 54:16Speaker 1: a high level that want kids to play all the
- 54:18Speaker 1: sports because you actually learn a lot of skills in
- 54:20Speaker 1: the other sports. But yeah, his thing that could be
- 54:23Speaker 1: also a tribute to their parents to at making a
- 54:25Speaker 1: kid sure just do one sports, or only allowing a
- 54:29Speaker 1: kid to just do one sport.
- 54:30Speaker 4: The only reason we've ever done that is because we
- 54:33Speaker 4: have four kids and were already divide and conquer, where
- 54:37Speaker 4: like my wife and I take my wife takes two
- 54:39Speaker 4: kids to one practice, I'll take another kid to practice,
- 54:42Speaker 4: and it's too much. And so if we're going to
- 54:44Speaker 4: be doing multiple sports all year, some of those sports overlap,
- 54:48Speaker 4: so they get penalized private siblings. No, So I tell them, like,
- 54:51Speaker 4: pick your two top sports, and that's what we're going
- 54:53Speaker 4: to do. And they all knix baseball except the baby.
- 54:57Speaker 4: The little one still plays baseball, but the other two
- 54:59Speaker 4: are like, we don't need baseball, so they do football
- 55:02Speaker 4: and basketball.
- 55:03Speaker 1: Nothing that's fine or else.
- 55:05Speaker 6: Like if we were else, if we only had two kids,
- 55:08Speaker 6: nobody even asked about it, or else.
- 55:09Speaker 1: We were gonna move on. No, I don't hit it.
- 55:13Speaker 2: I don't hit it.
- 55:13Speaker 4: We just thought about this so much if we had
- 55:15Speaker 4: two kids, like, yeah, you can do three sports, you
- 55:17Speaker 4: can do four sports. You want to do hockey, fine,
- 55:19Speaker 4: we have four kids and it's just too chaotic for us.
- 55:22Speaker 1: How'd you feel about the next firing Thibodeaux, Casey.
- 55:25Speaker 11: You know, I mean it was a little shocking, but honestly,
- 55:29Speaker 11: I feel like, you know, Thibodeau just seems like the
- 55:31Speaker 11: kind of guy that can get you know, he's a
- 55:33Speaker 11: culture changer and you can kind of take your team
- 55:36Speaker 11: to a you know, a new height and get you
- 55:37Speaker 11: into the postseason. But I think this Indiana series was
- 55:42Speaker 11: a big indicator of that. This five man thing, this
- 55:46Speaker 11: five man starter thing with no bench at all and
- 55:48Speaker 11: not starting any bench players just it just doesn't work.
- 55:51Speaker 11: I mean, Indiana's depth was just just too much for
- 55:54Speaker 11: the NIXT to handle. And then you know, in games
- 55:57Speaker 11: three and four, Tips is starting to throw in some
- 55:59Speaker 11: of our bench players like Landry Shammitt who like never
- 56:01Speaker 11: played at all and stuff like that, and I think
- 56:04Speaker 11: it just really showed that he's just too stubborn and
- 56:07Speaker 11: he just kind of is, you know, a stickler of
- 56:09Speaker 11: his ways. And I think if the Knicks and you know,
- 56:12Speaker 11: Leon Rose said this when you became the president of
- 56:14Speaker 11: basketball operations, that he's here to win a championship, not
- 56:18Speaker 11: just to be good. So you know, we had to
- 56:21Speaker 11: make a change.
- 56:22Speaker 1: It's weird to be Thibodeau and reach a new height
- 56:26Speaker 1: and then be fired after you reach the new height.
- 56:29Speaker 1: It does seem to me again, I'm from ten thousand
- 56:31Speaker 1: feet because you can look at Thibodeaux with the Bulls
- 56:34Speaker 1: or with Minnesota Town twice. Yeah, that's a fuse though, right,
- 56:38Speaker 1: eventually the fuse burns out, like yeah, you only have
- 56:40Speaker 1: when you have a personality like that that seems to
- 56:44Speaker 1: work for a bit and then it doesn't anymore. It's
- 56:48Speaker 1: just odd that he takes the Knicks back to a
- 56:50Speaker 1: place that they really rarely have been in our lifetime,
- 56:54Speaker 1: even they haven't won a championship in our lifetime.
- 56:56Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean New York radio is definitely divided on it,
- 56:59Speaker 11: but I think more people are now leaning towards you
- 57:01Speaker 11: know that it that it needed to happen. He had
- 57:03Speaker 11: to rip the band aid off. So now we're looking
- 57:05Speaker 11: at this guy Johnny Bryant, who was like the assistant.
- 57:08Speaker 2: Coach and.
- 57:09Speaker 4: Yeah, Rick, Ricky, but yeah, we'll see it's going to
- 57:13Speaker 4: be an interesting coach. In search. I saw that Rick
- 57:15Speaker 4: Patino was getting interviewed, and he was like, I have
- 57:18Speaker 4: I want.
- 57:18Speaker 1: No part in that. So he lives there already.
- 57:21Speaker 4: Yeah, he's a fan, but he doesn't want all the
- 57:23Speaker 4: all the smoke.
- 57:23Speaker 1: I guess what about all the Nova guys? Jay Wright?
- 57:26Speaker 1: I know too.
- 57:27Speaker 11: I know some people were saying him too, but I
- 57:29Speaker 11: feel like he wouldn't want it either. I don't think
- 57:31Speaker 11: you think he's got a good gig going. What about
- 57:32Speaker 11: Sharlot Timoth, Yeah, Timothy.
- 57:35Speaker 4: Spike, Lee like Lee?
- 57:37Speaker 8: That great?
- 57:38Speaker 9: Right?
- 57:39Speaker 1: Kylie Jenner?
- 57:39Speaker 4: Kylie, Yeah, great three point range game?
- 57:43Speaker 5: You know all?
- 57:43Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 57:43Speaker 4: Perfect? Yeah, yeah, Eddie.
- 57:45Speaker 1: How's your kids basketball team? You're coaching him?
- 57:46Speaker 8: Now?
- 57:47Speaker 4: Yeah, we had our first doubleheader.
- 57:49Speaker 1: I expect thirty point wins every game. You said, you
- 57:51Speaker 1: are stacked. We are so stacked, and I expected the
- 57:53Speaker 1: same thing. In our first game, we got slaughtered. I
- 57:56Speaker 1: mean it was really at one point it was a
- 58:00Speaker 1: a thirty five point game. Oh and in the half,
- 58:03Speaker 1: and I'm like, this is not good. Why what was happening?
- 58:06Speaker 7: Uh?
- 58:07Speaker 4: So I was under the understanding that so the way
- 58:12Speaker 4: six year olds plays, they play wristbands, right, so like
- 58:15Speaker 4: they all have different color wristbands and your red covers
- 58:20Speaker 4: their red. That's just how it goes. Like it's just
- 58:22Speaker 4: training purposes for kids that really don't know too much
- 58:26Speaker 4: about basketball. It's like, you just play defense on your color,
- 58:29Speaker 4: you cannot play defense on any of the other color kids.
- 58:31Speaker 4: So the other team wasn't playing like that, and the
- 58:35Speaker 4: refs weren't calling it like that.
- 58:37Speaker 1: And so were they just matching up? Then the coach
- 58:39Speaker 1: was like, hey, you match up on this kid, You
- 58:40Speaker 1: match up on this kid. Are they playing zone or what?
- 58:42Speaker 4: They were just playing whoever has the ball?
- 58:44Speaker 6: Swarm them?
- 58:45Speaker 4: Oh, and hey, not stop blitz. It did not stop
- 58:48Speaker 4: press like cool team press. And I'm like, I tell
- 58:52Speaker 4: the ref I'm like, hey, what's the point of the wristbands?
- 58:54Speaker 4: He's like, I think it's so they know who they're guarding.
- 58:57Speaker 4: But who cares dude?
- 58:58Speaker 9: Oh?
- 58:58Speaker 4: I'm like, okay, we're gonna play who got it? And
- 59:01Speaker 4: so at that point we played who cares? Too? So
- 59:04Speaker 4: we scored like ten twelve more points is a little closer,
- 59:06Speaker 4: but we still got slaughtered. That was the first game.
- 59:09Speaker 4: Second game, who cares Dude? I went, boys, we're playing
- 59:13Speaker 4: who cares?
- 59:13Speaker 2: Defense?
- 59:14Speaker 8: Got it? Nice?
- 59:14Speaker 4: Whoever has the ball that's not their ball? That's your ball.
- 59:18Speaker 4: And then one of the kids looks at me as
- 59:19Speaker 4: a coach, are you saying steal the ball? And I'm
- 59:24Speaker 4: saying that ball is yours. You grab it and you
- 59:27Speaker 4: take it to the hoop and score. That's all they
- 59:29Speaker 4: needed to hear, dude. And that second game we dominated.
- 59:32Speaker 4: I would run through a wall for you.
- 59:33Speaker 7: Man.
- 59:33Speaker 4: They dominated.
- 59:35Speaker 1: So would you have five men going at the ball.
- 59:39Speaker 4: I mean no, because I don't want to leave a
- 59:41Speaker 4: good player open under the hoop. So I'd say, like,
- 59:43Speaker 4: three of you guys swarm the ball to stay back.
- 59:45Speaker 1: But which so would you? Would it be a designated two?
- 59:48Speaker 1: I ran a three to two defense, got it? So
- 59:50Speaker 1: the two that are playing like the four and the five, Yeah,
- 59:54Speaker 1: they stayed back.
- 59:55Speaker 4: They stayed back to guard the the your league, dude,
- 59:58Speaker 4: I'm telling you. These reps were like, do what every want?
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: And then one of them is like, dude, I'm a
- 1:00:01Speaker 4: Cowboys fan.
- 1:00:02Speaker 1: I love your hat.
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: And I said, dude, it's our year. Yeah, and he
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: winked at me. He's like, do whatever you want.
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: I'm like, you got it, dang. Maybe you find out
- 1:00:09Speaker 1: who the ref is. Look on their instagram toe who
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: their team is. Far that had every week. Yeah, so
- 1:00:14Speaker 1: you think now that you understand how the games are
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: being played, you'll be able to play as well. Could
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: you beat the first team if you'd don't know who Cares?
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: Yes?
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: I think we could have because the team we beat
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: beat the first team.
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: So do you have them ready for both? Because the
- 1:00:28Speaker 1: league might end up switching back if but enough parents
- 1:00:30Speaker 1: can play in on who Cares, you may have to
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: go back to wristbands. So are they ready both ways?
- 1:00:35Speaker 9: No?
- 1:00:35Speaker 4: Well, I mean I think what my plan is going
- 1:00:37Speaker 4: to be is, yes, we'll get ready both ways. But
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: I think I'm gonna get there a game early, watch
- 1:00:42Speaker 4: who the refs are, how they're refing. Yeah, and then
- 1:00:45Speaker 4: that'll be the game plan. So you will have them ready?
- 1:00:47Speaker 4: Oh no, we'll be right if it's wristband or if
- 1:00:49Speaker 4: it's Who Cares. And another thing too, is they were
- 1:00:51Speaker 4: screening like the kids. It's six year old. Basketball screens
- 1:00:55Speaker 4: are not allowed. Every single time we've done again, I
- 1:00:58Speaker 4: have four boys, They've all played six year old basketball
- 1:01:00Speaker 4: screens are not allowed.
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: Dude.
- 1:01:01Speaker 4: These guys are allowing everything. So guess what we're doing
- 1:01:03Speaker 4: Sunday at practice we're learning screen pocket knives.
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: Oh screens yeah, screene yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, dang one
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: on one.
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: But dude, what I told the kids, like, this is
- 1:01:13Speaker 4: the one time that you can steal, and you tell
- 1:01:15Speaker 4: your parents that no stealing candy at the store, don't
- 1:01:18Speaker 4: steal anything, don't steal someone's wallet. But that ball today
- 1:01:22Speaker 4: is yours.
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: I don't think you needed to do the whole don't
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: steal the wallet. The kids could have said.
- 1:01:26Speaker 4: No, because I think they were confused. Dude. They were like, so,
- 1:01:28Speaker 4: you're telling us it's okay to steal.
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: I don't think so. I think they know there's a
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: difference and like stealing.
- 1:01:34Speaker 6: Right, well, I've legit never thought about that until Yeah.
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: I didn't think about it either. But really they're taught
- 1:01:40Speaker 4: their whole lives not to steal, and I'm like, no, no, no, today,
- 1:01:42Speaker 4: their whole lives you are stealing.
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: They're probably also taught not to block, like block people
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: walking through, right, you can block a shot?
- 1:01:50Speaker 4: Yes, I didn't realize that, so I have to spell
- 1:01:53Speaker 4: it out for well written for you guys. Man, Dude,
- 1:01:55Speaker 4: I think from here on album on ESPN plus they
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: show everything. Yeah, any chance that's ESPN? Oh choe, all right,
