- 1:01are on the planet. We have a lot of people watching
- 1:03from outside of the United States. And that's
- 1:06very, very cool whenever I see that on the dashboard.
- 1:12All right, today, by the way, just a reminder,
- 1:16DMZ America podcast is coming up at 11 a .m.
- 1:20That's every Friday with me and Scott Stantus.
- 1:22Today we'll be talking about bad editors. Today's
- 1:27Q &A show has to be canceled because of doctor's
- 1:31appointments on both of the co -hosts' parts.
- 1:34So that's not going to be happening today. No
- 1:37Q &A today. So it's just three hours of this
- 1:41left in the day. And then you're free to go do
- 1:43what you want. All right. So let's talk about
- 1:47the I'll set up the board, the game board here.
- 1:52JD Vance saying some pretty Rumsfeldian -like
- 1:57things. Sometimes things happen when you kill
- 2:00innocent people in a foreign country. Germany
- 2:03and Russia, all sorts of tensions rising there.
- 2:07The arch, the triumphal arch is going to break
- 2:11ground in within two weeks according to Donald
- 2:14Trump. And last and not least, Argentine President
- 2:19Javier Malé seems to want to provoke another
- 2:22Falklands war, perhaps, and Donald Trump is playing
- 2:25a role in this. I mean, Donald Trump, next time
- 2:29I look in my catch -letter box, and it's really
- 2:31gross in there, I'm going to expect that somehow
- 2:32Donald Trump is responsible. He's involved in
- 2:35everything. Anyway, JT, good morning. Nice to
- 2:38see you. And please put your questions and comments
- 2:40in the live chat if you're watching live in the
- 2:439 a .m. on Rumble and YouTube. We will, of course,
- 2:47answer your questions. Priority goes to the paid
- 2:49super chats on YouTube and the Rumble rants.
- 2:54But we do, obviously, as you guys know, if you're
- 2:57watching regularly. By the way, the show is growing.
- 2:59Yesterday, we had 7 ,000 views on YouTube. That's
- 3:03definitely really high. That's for a normal.
- 3:05That's no clips. No, like nothing unusual. Nothing.
- 3:09No major news story. So that's great. Yeah. So
- 3:14the show. So we're things are moving in the right
- 3:17direction. Yeah. A bunch of people on YouTube,
- 3:20about 4 ,000 getting skill. Like what was the
- 3:23program before and what is it? Between three
- 3:25to 4 ,000. So yesterday it was just going, it
- 3:28was just going good. We're getting a lot more
- 3:30impressions. So what an impression is, is basically
- 3:32how many people YouTube shows a thumbnail to.
- 3:35That's an impression. YouTube has almost tripled
- 3:39our impressions. The analytics are going up.
- 3:42More people are picking up on the shorts. Uh,
- 3:44even on rumble, uh, it's starting to kind of
- 3:47cover over there. Now what that means to a monetary
- 3:49standpoint, who the hell knows at this point?
- 3:51Nobody knows. But from a, but from a numbers
- 3:54standpoint, it's making a difference. And YouTube,
- 3:57because YouTube pays more for ad revenue than
- 3:59what rumble does. Those clicks actually are meaningful.
- 4:02So that's good. That's damn good. Yeah, it's
- 4:05good. The last, the last payday was pretty shitty
- 4:08as, uh, as we just know. So hopefully. of that
- 4:12will change. No, I mean, hey, that's always I
- 4:16started to start doing the whole gaming thing
- 4:17over on YouTube and rumble just to help pick
- 4:19up the slack because just really appreciate it
- 4:21here. So we really we appreciate you, Robbie.
- 4:25By the way, I don't want to get into that. But
- 4:28there was some question as to whether that phone
- 4:30call with John ever happened. Yeah, it happened
- 4:32with me and Robbie and it went well. So that's
- 4:35it. So it was good. It was good. So hatchet buried,
- 4:40not in anybody's head. She's just buried. So
- 4:42that's, that's what needs to happen. Okay. All
- 4:45right. I don't want to, this is like, you know,
- 4:47people have commented, we've talked too much
- 4:48about that or on the show. I don't agree, but
- 4:50I think we have certainly it's run its course.
- 4:52And so, um, okay. We, and that's what the Q and
- 4:56a show is for anyway. All right. So what do you
- 4:59want to talk about? Well, because yesterday,
- 5:02but we have walked into the tiger cage and closed
- 5:04the door by which I'm more than happy to do that
- 5:05again, like multiple times. I like pain. That
- 5:09would never, that would never happen. with the,
- 5:11with the previous coached, uh, co -host. That's
- 5:14why I like you being here, JT. What do you mean?
- 5:17Well, I guess I have, you asked me about the
- 5:20Kung Lao, whatever the hell that dude's name
- 5:21is. Hung Kow. How did you forget Hung Kow? Seriously,
- 5:27I don't believe you forgot that. I think you're
- 5:29making it up that you forgot that. That's not
- 5:31true that you forgot that. That's the most memorable
- 5:34name in the world. Yeah, it's just great. Listen,
- 5:37you snot sucker. I'm two hours behind you. I'm
- 5:39tired of only having one cup of coffee, so screw
- 5:41you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Get that 1775 coffee brewing
- 5:44up. All right. No, no. Actually, we're getting
- 5:46so... Where's Jeff's coffee, man? I have been
- 5:52hounding him about it. I said, listen, I want
- 5:53to promote it because I am a coffee connoisseur.
- 5:56Anyway, the point I'm trying to get to before
- 5:57I derail the show again is that that would have
- 6:00never happened with John because he won't jump
- 6:03on you the way that you would. He's too agreeable.
- 6:06Yeah, for sure. Yeah. And so I enjoy that. I
- 6:11love it. And so having your year is objectively
- 6:14wrong yesterday. So you had to be objectively
- 6:18wrong. I was having only factually you were objectively
- 6:22wrong. You were sorry you were which is why I
- 6:25bought this shit. I mean, it's like Vietnam is
- 6:29different. Listen, we have way too much to talk
- 6:32about today. Okay, that's another show. Another
- 6:35day. Yeah. I'm trying to say is though, I'm glad
- 6:40you're here because that would have happened
- 6:41otherwise. Well, thank you, Robbie. And by the
- 6:43way, I wasn't trying to be a dick to you. I just
- 6:46was like, wait a minute, this is weird. Why is
- 6:49Robbie taking this position on this? Yeah. If
- 6:51you took offense, Robbie, you would be wrong.
- 6:54Well, I'm not a xenophobe. I mean, I get why
- 6:56people think that. I'm really not. But a lot
- 7:01of people who don't know me, though, think that.
- 7:03Well, I mean, tone counts for a lot. Tone bites
- 7:06me in the ass a lot when people are listening
- 7:09to the way you say something more than they're
- 7:11listening to the content of what you say something,
- 7:14which is something I don't know. I'm 63. I don't
- 7:16think I'm going to get better at it any time
- 7:18soon. I've worked on it my entire life, but I
- 7:20get it. All right, let's talk. All right, let's
- 7:23do Vance first. Let's get that. JD Vance is trash.
- 7:25He's such a hypocrite. He's a scoundrel. So obviously,
- 7:29everyone remembers when If you're old enough,
- 7:31when the US invaded Iraq and one of the many
- 7:34atrocities that happened was the trashing of
- 7:36the Baghdad National Museum, which contains priceless
- 7:40or contained priceless antiquities, which are
- 7:43now sitting in rich assholes like lofts in Soho
- 7:47and in Bel Air after they were looted and obviously
- 7:51went to the scatter to the four winds. Donald
- 7:54Rumsfeld was asked about this. It was the requirement
- 7:59under international law, which I know you don't
- 8:02believe in tomorrow. But it's also under American
- 8:06law that we have to, you know, everyone sees
- 8:08the monument's men, right? Like, oh, we care
- 8:11so much about, like, precious cultural artifacts
- 8:14and treasures. And anyway, he was asked about
- 8:18this looting. There was no American troops were
- 8:20sent to guard the museum. It was a free for all.
- 8:22And as the looters ransacked the place. Rumsfeld
- 8:26said well stuff happens and So that I had a total
- 8:31flashback. Yeah, Dady Vance was asked about this
- 8:34Bombing of an app of a rock. I want to say Afghan
- 8:38wedding party because we did that so many times
- 8:39it became a joke But this Iranian wedding party
- 8:44It's been independently verified by journalists
- 8:47and other independent NGOs and stuff. It happened.
- 8:50It was the US. It's our fault. They were civilians.
- 8:53There's no excuse for it. The end, right? JD
- 8:55Vance was asked about this at a press conference.
- 8:57He said, well, sometimes things happen. Well,
- 9:01that's for sure. But in this case, it was the
- 9:04US that made this thing happen. I mean, he's
- 9:07making it look like he walked on gum and he has
- 9:10it stuck on his shoe or something. This is this
- 9:13is not like a random incident And I mean, I know
- 9:18nothing will come of this, you know, nobody cares
- 9:21about you know, the loss of life among Americans
- 9:24I mean except for anti -war activists But he
- 9:29should I mean that should be disqualifying for
- 9:31a run for president like he should it's it's
- 9:34so disgusting and he claims to be Catholic fuck
- 9:36him I mean If this was disqualifying, every president
- 9:41would have been disqualified. Yes. Yes, yes,
- 9:46they would. Like all of these people are murderers.
- 9:49And, you know, when I keep pointing out, they
- 9:51hit that school on purpose. I don't believe that
- 9:54this was just a targeting error. And how can
- 9:58we say that when, as you pointed out, all the
- 10:00wedding parties that we were hitting in Afghanistan,
- 10:02Donald Trump celebrating when they murdered all
- 10:05of those people in Yemen who were at a religious
- 10:07ceremony? And he puts it on Twitter and Twitter
- 10:10allows it mass murder to remain on Twitter because
- 10:14the president is friends with Elon Musk who owns
- 10:17Twitter. Like thinking if that was anybody else,
- 10:19any random person putting up celebrating the
- 10:21murder of a bunch of, you know, six people or
- 10:23seven people, they would never allow that or
- 10:27at the very least it would be flagged to death.
- 10:29I'm saying they hit that party on purpose. They
- 10:32knew what they were doing. I don't believe it
- 10:34was and even in his dismissal of it where he
- 10:37even seems at some points is skeptical that the
- 10:41U .S. did it and makes the point the U .S. doesn't
- 10:44target civilians. That's news to me. It's news
- 10:48to all the dead civilians, too. Yeah. Yes. Especially
- 10:52all the drone strikes where the majority were
- 10:55civilians. I mean, look, you're right. Obviously,
- 10:58it's bullshit. But like, let's just say for the
- 11:01sake of argument that it was true. How is that
- 11:04an excuse? Like, you know, if I go, if I get,
- 11:07if I'm a fucking retard driver and I keep running
- 11:10people over with my car, how long am I keeping
- 11:14my license? How long am I still walking free
- 11:16on the streets? Right. I mean, I might not, it
- 11:18might not be treated as, as first degree murder,
- 11:21but I am going to go to prison. I mean, they're
- 11:24going to say this Ted Rawls too dangerous to
- 11:26drive. He's too dangerous to be out on the street.
- 11:28I mean, the U .S. obviously can't be trusted
- 11:31with bombs. You know, we hit too many civilians
- 11:35by our own standards. And look, it's not a good
- 11:39look, or maybe it is a good look, that Hegseth
- 11:42got rid of this Obama era board, sorry, Biden
- 11:46era board that was established to try to reduce
- 11:49civilian casualties in situations like this.
- 11:52I mean, of course, obviously the main issue is
- 11:54we're bombing countries that we have no business
- 11:57in and have no truck with. And so therefore it
- 12:00wouldn't happen if we didn't have illegal wars.
- 12:03It couldn't happen. But aside from that, when
- 12:06we do do an illegal war, Um, we should be trying
- 12:09to mitigate civilian casualties and like the
- 12:12message that hagseth is sending is We don't care
- 12:15about civilian casualties. That's why we're getting
- 12:18rid in a 1 .5 trillion dollar defense budget
- 12:21That's why we're getting rid of this tiny little
- 12:23office with not even 200 people in it Just to
- 12:27be clear. Did you say? When we're in an illegal
- 12:31war, we should try to cut down on civilian casualties
- 12:34Well, we should just not be in a legal war. Jamal,
- 12:41if you and I are going to go rob a bank, we should
- 12:43try not to kill anyone. We shouldn't rob the
- 12:45bank. We're already doing something legal, right?
- 12:48Right. And I think that needs to be highlighted.
- 12:52Some people would say, well, it's a war. And
- 12:55in war, some people die. And that's kind of true.
- 12:59But as you point out, it's an illegal war. It's
- 13:02a war that we started. It's a war where we have
- 13:04an aggression, where we attack a country. Everyone
- 13:06who gets a bunion because of us, that's our fault
- 13:10because we shouldn't be there. It's our fault.
- 13:12Yes. Anything that happens, any civilian that
- 13:15dies in the buildings that's blown up, any person.
- 13:18Anyone who gets an asthma attack from the dust,
- 13:21it's our fault. It's our fault. Meaning everybody
- 13:25in Iran on this case is innocent. 100%. We have
- 13:28no business being there. We have no business
- 13:30being there. There's nothing more hypocritical
- 13:33than a pro -life Republican. And that's just
- 13:36true. I mean, these same people, they'll condemn
- 13:39women for having abortions. Rightly so, in my
- 13:42opinion. Well, then turn right around. I've done
- 13:46cartoons about that. But if the fetus is inside
- 13:49a pregnant Iraqi lady, oh, tough shit. She's
- 13:52fair game. Or if it's in a hospital, it's three
- 13:55days old. That's okay. Or if you're an eight
- 13:58-year -old girl at a school, sucks to be you.
- 14:01Or if you're in the ICU in Gaza, tough shit.
- 14:05Or if you're starved to death because of sanctions,
- 14:07that's okay. I mean, Republicans are not pro
- 14:09-life. And that's why liberals, and I think they
- 14:15have a point here, they say that they say Republican
- 14:19opposition to abortion is largely about controlling
- 14:22women. Because if it wasn't, we wouldn't be able
- 14:24to point out these these hypocrisies. Yep. Yep,
- 14:29they suck. Well, I mean, I always make the argument
- 14:32Republicans care for babies up to the point where
- 14:34the baby is born. Didn't they tell a baby fuck
- 14:36off? And even then only under certain circumstances,
- 14:39they don't care about the baby if it's inside
- 14:41the belly of a homeless lady. They don't care
- 14:44if they don't care about the baby if it's inside
- 14:46the belly of a poor person, which is at least
- 14:49one out of four Americans. They don't care. I
- 14:54mean, if it comes out malnourished or fucked
- 14:57up in some way because the mother is poor and
- 15:00can't take proper care of her own body. It's
- 15:02like, how do you care for a baby up until the
- 15:05point where it's born? I had a conversation with
- 15:07a guy who was anti -abortion, but he was different
- 15:09though. His thing was like, yeah, women, abortion
- 15:13should be illegal, but we need to take care of
- 15:15the babies that we have. basically meaning this
- 15:17idea that the baby is born and all of a sudden
- 15:19you just kind of don't care anymore. It's nonsense.
- 15:22He thought the Republican position on this was
- 15:24insane. Scott Stantus has your friend, the dude
- 15:27who you talked to, same position, right? He's
- 15:29like, you got to take care of people from conception
- 15:32to death. And you've got to, and also he's consistently,
- 15:36he's opposed to capital punishment. He's opposed
- 15:40to illegal wars. I mean, wars of aggression.
- 15:44Yeah. That position I understand though. To me,
- 15:47that is a pro -life position. Like, dude, we
- 15:49should protect life. If it matters, it matters.
- 15:52Which, by the way, I agree with. Me too. Like,
- 15:54this idea of life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness.
- 15:57I mean, it's fucking written into the Constitution.
- 16:00They didn't put that there for no reason. There
- 16:02is something to be said for society. They worked
- 16:05long and hard on that draft. It was not a two
- 16:08in the morning bender with a pot of 1775 coffee
- 16:11on, like making it go. They were literally 1775
- 16:15coffee. They thought long and hard about this
- 16:19shit. Yeah, it matters. Life, liberty, and the
- 16:22pursuit of happiness. I mean they put it in the
- 16:24document pursuit of happiness. That is mind -blowing
- 16:27Yeah, like also said and they also said all men
- 16:30are created equal which at the time meant human
- 16:33beings right human beings and That is interesting
- 16:38because they didn't say all citizens all American
- 16:40citizens all Americans They said all men because
- 16:43it was about a bigger issue. It's like We're
- 16:47all as human beings. We're all equal Yeah, the
- 16:51document is profound We don't pay attention to
- 16:55it, right? Like they don't believe that shit.
- 16:58And this is under, like my hypothesis is the
- 17:00further away you get from a revolutionary drive,
- 17:03and I know people will say that wasn't a revolutionary
- 17:04thing and I accept that. But there was a revolutionary
- 17:07spirit, right? I mean, yeah. But the further
- 17:10you get away from it, the less people believe
- 17:12it. At that point, it becomes more cynical. And
- 17:15then this one, Dune gets in and Dune would say,
- 17:17well, that's why you need a religious tradition
- 17:19to buttress any governmental system that you
- 17:21run with. You need a belief set built into it
- 17:24in order to keep people all under the same thing.
- 17:28Congress doesn't believe it. Like those people
- 17:30for the most part are just corrupt and they believe
- 17:32in doing whatever is necessary to maintain their
- 17:34power base. I don't think they believe this stuff
- 17:38in earnest. What they believe in is power and
- 17:41using a mechanism in order to gain power. And
- 17:44these walls of aggression just kind of spring
- 17:45from it. Yeah, I mean, it would be fun to do
- 17:48a remake of like Mr. Smith Goes to Washington,
- 17:51and he immediately starts getting visited and
- 17:54paid off by lobbyists. Did you ever see, by the
- 18:00way, the Eddie Murphy film, A Distinguished Gentleman?
- 18:05Yes. It's like a documentary, I mean, of the
- 18:08way the system works. Right? I mean, it's like,
- 18:11and even the guy that they get, I forget the
- 18:13actor's name, that they get to play the majority
- 18:19leader of the Senate, or maybe he's the Speaker
- 18:22of the House, he looks just like Bob Dole, right?
- 18:26But the thing is, it's like, holy shit, like,
- 18:29this is like, it's like, idiocracy isn't fiction.
- 18:35Not today. No. Not today. Comments, shall we?
- 18:40Yeah, okay F you say oh cartoon idea Charlie
- 18:43Brown and the kite -eating tree, but Charlie
- 18:45Brown is a Palestinian child and the tree is
- 18:48Israel Well, I never take ideas from anyone else.
- 18:51But thank you for that. I have done more than
- 18:54my fair share I've had some I have I actually
- 18:56have one Charlie Brown trying to kick the football
- 18:59one that is like kind of like a meme it keeps
- 19:01coming up and over and over and repurposed online
- 19:04I can't say Don't know if I should be flattered
- 19:08by that or annoyed by it. I just sort of just
- 19:10is what it is Okay, if you so thanks for the
- 19:16dollar I watch on YouTube as a member on my TV
- 19:18fire stick on the big screen I chat on rumble
- 19:21because of censorship you get two active viewers
- 19:24from me and we love you if you so and we'd appreciate
- 19:27your comments if you so also n times Vance is
- 19:31the I don't know what that is. In Dune, Quinzac
- 19:37Haderach. Quinzac Haderach was a super being
- 19:40that was being genetically, God, man, I can't
- 19:43believe you haven't read those books. No, I've
- 19:45got to. My ex -wife loved them. They're so good.
- 19:48The Peter Peele sleeper has awakened. The writing
- 19:51in it is breathtaking. Do you like the first
- 19:54movie? Because I didn't. Well, it's like a political
- 19:57philosophy book. Dune, God Emperor Dune, even
- 20:01Messiah. I mean, although Sting looked cool.
- 20:04Yeah, it's really looked cool is peak sting All
- 20:10right, John Park. It's always a heavyweight title
- 20:12fight between Robbie and JT when it comes to
- 20:14religious and sexuality lol We just disagree
- 20:20that's fine Alexander Berg, I'm a straight -up
- 20:23xenophobe. I don't mind tourists, but Norway
- 20:25is for Norwegians Norway is a beautiful country.
- 20:30I enjoyed it Blake I missed theater Thursdays,
- 20:33so I'm just here for Teddy on flash me Friday.
- 20:35Let's go $5. You're getting close only $4 ,972
- 20:41to go Indiana let's not forget our shit infrastructure
- 20:46states have no money for their residents, but
- 20:48plenty of money for Israel True if you said odds
- 20:51they kill Trump and make it look like natural
- 20:53causes to install events I mean... Low. What
- 20:59do you think Vance's chances are? Trump shits
- 21:02the bed. From my point of view, he shits the
- 21:04bed in the presidency. Yeah. And I mean it metaphorically.
- 21:08By the way, today he had some good news. The
- 21:10new jobs numbers, as anemic as they were, were
- 21:12not as bad as expected. What were they? 166 ,000
- 21:17new jobs created. But you know why, don't you?
- 21:19They're counting people pick up second and third
- 21:22jobs. Yeah. The quality of the job doesn't matter.
- 21:25It's like, you know, if you get hired as a CEO,
- 21:28it counts the same as if you get hired as a,
- 21:30you know, I don't know, some shit. Well, it's
- 21:31not one person working. So like, so if you're
- 21:34one person and you're working full time at Walmart,
- 21:37but then you have to pick up a second job, or
- 21:40then if you're picking up doorjacks or something,
- 21:41those all count as new jobs. Oh, that's insane.
- 21:45That's how they pad the numbers. And the quality
- 21:47of the job doesn't matter. If I'm not mistaken,
- 21:50correct me if I'm wrong, it's like 80 % of the
- 21:51jobs are service. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Which, if you
- 21:55think about that, that means that's just 80 %
- 21:57of the population. Low pay. Yeah. A more accurate
- 22:01number. Also, $166 ,000 isn't good anyway. No.
- 22:05We've lost 27 ,000 jobs per month on average
- 22:09since Trump's been in office. Yeah. But I mean,
- 22:11obviously he I mean, look, if I were him, I'm
- 22:14going to make the most of the of these numbers,
- 22:16you know, today. Well, he doesn't care. Yeah.
- 22:20I mean, that's the I mean, well, I should say
- 22:22his team cares for the midterms. Right. I mean,
- 22:25you know that you know that Republican House
- 22:26members are shitting bricks. True. They care
- 22:29because they're on the line. Yeah. Donald Trump
- 22:32is not running for the election again that we
- 22:33know of. What is his incentive? Right. Well,
- 22:37I mean. Okay, all right, but let's go back to
- 22:39your question, right? So he shits the bed. What
- 22:42are J .D. Vance's chances for what, the nomination
- 22:44or for? Yeah, for the nomination. I mean, because
- 22:47from my point of view, he is going to be fruit
- 22:50from the poison in his tree. I could be wrong.
- 22:52I think all of them are. Okay, so I'm going to
- 22:55repeat the same advice that I gave the Democrats.
- 22:58Okay, the right play here is to shoo Trump out
- 23:02in January or February. Okay, like after the
- 23:06after the midterms say we have heard you America
- 23:09Oh put in vance put in vance let vance be present
- 23:12president for a year and a half before the election
- 23:15That's the play then. Okay. I mean it either
- 23:19flies like sores like an eagle or dies like a
- 23:22dog But you get him in office He has an opportunity
- 23:26like Kamala would have had or Al Gore would have
- 23:28had after Monica Lewinsky to make a name for
- 23:31himself. Look, he could. He is a very smart man.
- 23:35I mean, he could maybe figure out some ways to
- 23:37make some inroads with Democrats and get some
- 23:41shit done on Capitol Hill. Maybe. Certainly,
- 23:43he's much more mentally competent and politically
- 23:49competent than Donald Trump. So I'm not saying
- 23:52he would be able to pull this off. But given
- 23:55what you've got, if you're the Republicans, that's
- 23:57the play. Have him resign or have him resign
- 24:00due to health issues or have him fall down the
- 24:03stairs of airport swine and crack his noggin
- 24:05whatever if I can figure something out but like
- 24:08You know get vance in there asap. So he runs
- 24:12as an incumbent the way lbj ran in 64 agree That's
- 24:17a great idea. That's a fantastic idea. You're
- 24:20right. I mean because that was If you can make
- 24:23trump the senator Basically, all sins orient
- 24:27with Trump. And Democrats are howler monkeys
- 24:30against Trump. And you get him out. Obviously,
- 24:35Vance issues a full pardon. Yeah, he probably
- 24:39does, even though he should. In fact, any agreements
- 24:43that Democrats make with Vance should include,
- 24:46we're not going to accept that. And by the way,
- 24:47to your point, Vance would need to work with
- 24:49Democrats. Hence, what is he willing to give
- 24:52in order to get something actually done? To better
- 24:55his chances when he runs again, but like okay,
- 24:58but I mean for example social security is about
- 25:00to shit the bed in 2032, right? Yes, so I mean
- 25:03what if what if he what if like what if vance
- 25:06was able to bring in democrats and say listen
- 25:08guys um, you know Let donald off the hook. Let's
- 25:13put donald in the rearview mirror. That suits
- 25:15me as much as it suits you Let's do a let's do
- 25:19a grand bargain. We'll save social security And
- 25:23we'll do Medicare for All. Is Jamaral Thomas
- 25:27happy with that? He just lost me, because they're
- 25:29not going to do Medicare for All. Well, no, they're
- 25:31not. Because the Democrats are against it maybe
- 25:33as more so than the Republicans. Yes. You're
- 25:35never going to get it. Yes, yes. Because it's
- 25:38all the pharma money's coming in, yeah. Yeah,
- 25:41that's never going to come up as a thing. It
- 25:43would have to be something else. Any deal that
- 25:46democrats make with vance on social security
- 25:48is not going to be a deal that jamal thomas and
- 25:50most of the public is going to be okay Yeah,
- 25:53no, it's going to be it's going to suck ass I
- 25:55mean as the resident as the resident person who
- 25:58currently qualifies to apply for social security
- 26:00here Um, yeah, i'm i'm terrified of what they're
- 26:03gonna fucking do to it Yeah, um, keep in mind
- 26:06bill clinton was trying to get rid of it if it
- 26:08wasn't for monica luinsky True Yeah, a little
- 26:13privatizing. You know, precariously placed. OK,
- 26:18Remy24 is becoming paid subscriber at West Glacier
- 26:22Gaming, and we appreciate you playing. But just
- 26:25because we did that doesn't mean that the rest
- 26:27of you all can't go support Robbie as well. Go
- 26:30do that. Go to West Glacier Gaming over on YouTube.
- 26:34YouTube, YouTube, YouTube. OK. Okay. Alexander
- 26:40Berg. I'm a xenophobe, but there are nuances.
- 26:42He's our resident Norwegian. As adopted foreign
- 26:45children, which I don't encourage, but I don't
- 26:47advocate sending them back, and marriages between
- 26:49Norwegians and foreigners. This is too much detail.
- 26:54Okay. That's cute. He's like, yeah, I can accept
- 26:57marriage. So if I married a Norwegian, he'd be
- 27:01okay with it. That's good. He'll come to your
- 27:04wedding maybe if you invite him. Trash Panda,
- 27:07thanks for the $4 .99. Did you see Trump's tweet
- 27:09about Americans having too many paid holidays
- 27:12off? Thank you for bringing that up. Yes, I did
- 27:14right before Labor Day, by the way. Good timing.
- 27:16That's amazing. Jimmy Carter gave that speech
- 27:21that pissed off Americans where he was like,
- 27:23look, we've become too infatuated with TV and
- 27:26blah, blah, blah. The malaise speech, although
- 27:28he never said malaise. It's a great speech. It
- 27:32is a great speech. It's a very honest speech.
- 27:35It's an honest speech. Trump is doing something
- 27:37else. Right? Like that's not like this is not
- 27:41God, man. And even going from like the Malay
- 27:44speech and the competence that that speech was
- 27:46delivered to rando tweets about Americans working,
- 27:51not working enough. Or I don't know if you heard
- 27:53about the house speech, the house thing where
- 27:55Trump was like, no, I don't want house prices
- 27:56to fall because I don't want basically lazy people
- 27:59getting their hands on houses. They're too lazy
- 28:01if they can't get a house. He's a psychopath.
- 28:05I mean, even just thinking something like that
- 28:08is psychotic. And by the way, objectively, the
- 28:10United States might have the lowest, but it's
- 28:13certainly one of the lowest number of vacation
- 28:16days. in the country. Yes, it's right in the
- 28:19world. I mean, we have like nine paid holidays,
- 28:22nine national holidays a year. Like Iran has
- 28:25like 44 or something. It's like we have like
- 28:29Europeans all get six months paid vacation and
- 28:33they get to travel the world and all that. It's
- 28:36no. I mean, we have to tell Americans that they
- 28:39don't work hard. How is it that like Hillary,
- 28:45I don't want to defend her. But I'm going to
- 28:47defend Hillary Clinton, even though I hate her.
- 28:49How does she catch so much shit for a basket
- 28:52full of deplorables? How does Mitt Romney get
- 28:55to catch so much shit for his 47 % comment? And
- 28:59Donald Trump gets just no shit for telling some
- 29:03of the hardest working people in the world that
- 29:04they're fucking lazy? Yeah, the hardest working
- 29:08people in the world. Not some of the hardest
- 29:10working. Like when I was in Spain and it was
- 29:14during the election with, what is his name? Beto.
- 29:20Beto. Beto O 'Rourke. Who's using the term Beto
- 29:23even though he's not his man. Whatever. But I
- 29:26mean, I think it was given to him. But it's weird
- 29:29because it's like Beto O 'Rourke? Yeah, it's
- 29:32like his wife or something like that gave it
- 29:33to him. It was a very strange thing. People were
- 29:35like, he was taking it just because he was trying
- 29:36to get the... He's such a fraud. But that being
- 29:42said. I was covering that election because he
- 29:45almost beat Ted Cruz. It was close. And my wife
- 29:50went out early in the morning in Spain in order
- 29:53to get the internet card that allowed me to continue
- 29:55to do the reporting on it and the coverage of
- 29:58it because mine effectively was going to die
- 30:00out. Spain, as you know, during air siesta are
- 30:04off like three hours of the day. Yep. God bless
- 30:08him. And as a lefty, I'm like... What the eff
- 30:11is this? What the eff is this? I need to get
- 30:13my video card. It's good for their sex lives
- 30:15too because there's nothing like afternoon delay.
- 30:18Yeah, fair enough. I needed to get my video card.
- 30:23It puts you in the mind of like how different
- 30:25this is. That would have never happened in America.
- 30:28Well, as you know, you've traveled all over the
- 30:32world, right? It's like, okay, so we're the only
- 30:35country in the world. Where you where you beat
- 30:38someone you don't know know that it comes up
- 30:40in a conversation. So what do you do as in? What's
- 30:43your job? I brought that question up at a you
- 30:46know I was having a great round of drinks at
- 30:49a punk club in the 80s with some Brits in London
- 30:53and We're just getting along and they were like
- 30:56they were they knew they knew I was an American
- 30:57because I tried to order a screwdriver And it
- 31:00was like, hey mate, you're at a bar, not a hardware
- 31:04store. Because it's not a drink in England, right?
- 31:08And I didn't, I don't know, I was 25. And so
- 31:11we started talking and someone said, so what
- 31:13do you do? And they're like, what do we do? We're
- 31:16here drinking, mate. And I'm like, okay, okay,
- 31:19but I mean like for a living. And they all started
- 31:22laughing. They're like, this is England, mate.
- 31:25We're all on the dole. Yeah, they all were laughing.
- 31:34That's what it means, like in America, that conversation.
- 31:36My ex, I remember her and I got into this, for
- 31:40one, just to give perspective. They give them
- 31:42like a month vacation at like a spa and stuff
- 31:45like that. Like some of the stuff is just, from
- 31:47my reference point, it's just so extreme. And
- 31:50I remember, like her and I got into this argument
- 31:53that was purely an argument based upon her being
- 31:56in Austria and me being an American. And her
- 31:58thing was like, you just care more about money
- 32:01than us being together. And I'm like, dude, there
- 32:06is no safety net. Like what are you talking about
- 32:08right now? Like you are living in your nice welfare
- 32:11state, that if anything goes wrong, they'll pay
- 32:13for your living expenses, they'll pay for your
- 32:15housing, they'll pay for all that stuff. Worst
- 32:17come to worst. Capitalism is economic terrorism.
- 32:20You wake up in the morning. Terrified that you
- 32:24may not like be able to eat in the future. Yeah,
- 32:26actually you dream about it. Well at night, too
- 32:30There's no way out that like it's It is a very
- 32:35difficult country very like I get all of the
- 32:38thing about optimism and Opportunity and all
- 32:41of this other stuff and blah blah blah as if
- 32:43that's not necessarily offered in other countries
- 32:45I'm just kind of point out that it's It's a capitalistic
- 32:49country capital is king. If you don't necessarily
- 32:52have it, you're not necessarily high up on the
- 32:54totem pole in regards to what can take place.
- 32:56And the people who have it, especially in the
- 32:58context of a political power, don't ever use
- 33:01it to the benefit of us. It's almost like they
- 33:04use it to add detriment. And that's not necessarily
- 33:07true everywhere else around the globe. him making
- 33:12that point like it's just it just smacks you
- 33:14in the face whether it's the argentinian cows
- 33:17whether it's the b1 visas i don't know if you
- 33:19were running i mean when they were running during
- 33:21the race they were like well americans are dumber
- 33:22and this is coming from a foreigner that's living
- 33:25in america like out of curiosity okay i know
- 33:28why republicans are shutting up about this although
- 33:30they should freak out but okay it's team blue
- 33:32i mean team red whatever okay but Why are the
- 33:35Democrats making hay out of this? There should
- 33:38be ads. They should be showing this all the time.
- 33:44Because they agree. They're paid by the same
- 33:48people. Y 'all keep acting like there's a difference
- 33:50between the Democrats and Republicans. Oh, I
- 33:53don't act like that at all. They are paid by
- 33:54the exact same people. That's why they're not
- 33:56squawking. Seriously, that's exactly why. I don't
- 33:59think that's true. They're both interested in
- 34:02being, you know, in running the show. Otherwise,
- 34:04there wouldn't be elections and they wouldn't
- 34:06campaign against each other. Elections don't
- 34:08matter, Ted. That's for public consumption. You
- 34:11get to vote by whoever is selected by the oligarchs
- 34:15you control. That's all true. Elections don't
- 34:19matter. Donald Trump is going to shoot Liz Cheney.
- 34:23Like that's extreme Hey, like that's not like
- 34:26there is a contest. I mean look there's a real
- 34:30contest Does it really matter for our lives?
- 34:33No, but there's a real I mean there is a contest.
- 34:37It's Coke or Pepsi I mean come on. It's like
- 34:40in sports. I mean, you know sure most of the
- 34:43New York Knicks only one of them's a New Yorker.
- 34:46So it's all fake. But the New York Knicks play
- 34:51hard, they are trying to beat whoever else. I
- 34:56do have a question though, and I'll go away.
- 34:59JT, especially if you're talking about Europe
- 35:02and Austria and stuff. Could Austria have a welfare
- 35:07state? Could France, for that matter, or these
- 35:10other European countries, if there was not a
- 35:12NATO? So, if they had to defend themselves, could
- 35:17they have a welfare state? But it's surrounded
- 35:23by NATO countries. I mean, there's no one going
- 35:25to screw with it. I guess the point I'm trying
- 35:26to say is, without that security blanket, would
- 35:30Europe be able to afford the welfare state that
- 35:33it has, or would they become more capitalistic
- 35:35like what we are? Who is attacking Europe? Nobody,
- 35:39but Europeans fight each other all the time,
- 35:41at least they used to. Not anymore. But they
- 35:43don't now. And for the most part, they cooperate,
- 35:46especially under the European Union. I get your
- 35:48question. Your question is basically, hey, if
- 35:50America wasn't defending, it had to put money
- 35:53into a military budget. Yeah, we're subsidizing
- 35:54them. Could they do it? We're subsidizing them,
- 35:57so therefore they have money. I mean, it's easy
- 35:58to have a welfare state if you don't have to
- 36:00pay for your own defense. Yeah, but if you don't
- 36:03need that defense that's being provided, it's
- 36:06a service that you don't need. It's like it's
- 36:09like a magazine that you're subscribing to and
- 36:11you never read and then like you can't afford
- 36:13it anymore And you cancel the subscription nothing.
- 36:16It doesn't matter. Yeah, it doesn't like they're
- 36:18not nobody's at their gates Like let's we're
- 36:22paying for this expensive service. They don't
- 36:24need the wars that are taking place are backed
- 36:27by the US Like meaning if the US wasn't a part
- 36:30of this there will be no enemies at anybody's
- 36:33gates in real terms, at least on a global scale.
- 36:36That's true. The war in Iran, the war in Europe,
- 36:39even hell, the fact that the Israelis run them
- 36:42up is all based upon the United States and their
- 36:44global, let's say, positioning around the globe
- 36:47and using the military assets in order to try
- 36:50to affect change globally or at the very least
- 36:52prevent this idea of a multi -polarity state.
- 36:55Nobody is at Europe's gates. And the same thing
- 36:58is true for America. Nobody's at our gates. We
- 37:01don't have to spend a trillion dollars for our
- 37:02military. We choose to spend a trillion dollars
- 37:05for our military. You read what's left, Ravi,
- 37:07I mean several times. It's like, you know, Brazil
- 37:11only spends 50 billion dollars a year on their
- 37:14military. They probably spend more than they
- 37:16need to because they have grift and graft too,
- 37:19right? That's one to what is that one two hundredth
- 37:24of a trillion dollars and there and they have
- 37:27bigger defense needs than the United States does
- 37:30they have hostile borders They have big borders.
- 37:33They have borders that are geographically almost
- 37:36impenetrable along in very difficult terrain
- 37:39We know for they do it for 50 billion. We can
- 37:43do it for 30 billion. Oh for sure No, just the
- 37:49reason I'm asking that is, up until 1940, Europeans
- 37:55just traditionally, every generation, they get
- 37:58bored. Someone just starts fighting somebody
- 37:59else. It's not the Russians. Europeans fight
- 38:02each other all the time, at least they used to.
- 38:05And so, no, you can make the argument that -
- 38:07But the US has no role in preventing that now,
- 38:10as Jamar pointed out. Of course it does. We are
- 38:13in the military. Well, they're not we're not
- 38:15we're not like if let's say france goes back
- 38:17to war against germany the us isn't weighing
- 38:20in Well, yeah, you do us you would ever allow
- 38:25it to happen in the first place But i'm saying
- 38:27is that the u that would never the existence
- 38:29of the eu is meant to make sure that never happens
- 38:31again the us is a non -fact NATO in the us is
- 38:36is about supposedly about defending russia from
- 38:39the big bad ruskies and maybe some arabs, right
- 38:43but It's not about internal European conflicts.
- 38:48Like, you know, NATO is kind of, I mean, I guess
- 38:50the only exception there would have been Bosnia,
- 38:52but. But we obviously had a point of view on
- 38:56that one. I mean, did you think that the Russians
- 39:00might look across the border at Prussia? I think
- 39:03we want that back. Do you think that the Europeans
- 39:06have evolved past that point? I think the European
- 39:10Union is a stabilizing influence on Europe. That's
- 39:12what I think. And I think the European Union
- 39:14on some level prevents. It's not foolproof. It's
- 39:17not fail safe. Right. I mean, I don't think anything
- 39:20is fail safe. Like any conflict can erupt between
- 39:24nations, depending upon what takes place in a
- 39:26material sense. But it is a constraint. Let's
- 39:33talk about some related matters, the Falklands
- 39:36and Germany. Let's nail Germany and Russia down.
- 39:43So Russia is going to shut down German cultural
- 39:45centers, according to Sergey Lavrov. That's in
- 39:49retaliation for Germany blaming Russia for these
- 39:54drones that were found at the Leipzig airport,
- 39:57sort of near and bouncing against Ukrainian.
- 40:00planes, if we believe that story, which there's
- 40:04reason not to. And in Munich yesterday, a couple
- 40:09of IEDs were thrown at a construction site where
- 40:13some defense companies were. A couple of Bulgarian
- 40:16dudes were arrested. We don't know if they're
- 40:18just people of interest or witnesses or if they're
- 40:21suspects. I'm going to say they're probably suspects.
- 40:24The implication there is that the Bulgarians
- 40:26might have some kind of Attachment to Russia,
- 40:30but look, let's face it. There's no no I mean
- 40:33to me with that rung like it looked to me just
- 40:36like Obviously more info we need more information
- 40:39there, but there's a lot of people in Germany
- 40:42who are not happy with Germany's warmongering
- 40:46stances against Russia and Generally remilitarization
- 40:50and all that shit. So I this a lot of this probably
- 40:54doesn't have anything to do with Russia But it's
- 40:57probably domestic domestic politics. It's like
- 41:00if someone throws an IED at Lockheed Martin's
- 41:04offices in the United States, it's not Russia
- 41:06or China that did it or Iran. Just to piggyback
- 41:12on that, the AFD may win because of that. Meaning
- 41:16the AFD numbers wouldn't be gaining and wouldn't
- 41:19be growing if Germans weren't expressing certain
- 41:24amount of discontent against the government.
- 41:26if that makes sense. They're the party that is
- 41:28asking questions like, why are our businesses
- 41:30closing? Why aren't we using Russian energy?
- 41:32Why are we fighting this war? Why are we doing
- 41:34this? In which case, the population says, yeah,
- 41:37that makes a lot of sense. I mean, to put it
- 41:39in perspective, the German government spying
- 41:44on the AFD or using the powers of the government
- 41:46to try to keep them out of office, it's kind
- 41:49of an indication that their numbers are growing.
- 41:52They just shut down four Volkswagen businesses.
- 41:55in Germany. I mean, it originates in Germany,
- 41:59and yet they can't even keep their plants open
- 42:01because the costs are soaring to such a degree
- 42:03that it's not just for companies, that is for
- 42:05everybody. And I can tell you, when I was there,
- 42:08I was in, God, man, I think it was less than
- 42:1110 years ago, a beautiful country, expensive
- 42:16regarding energy. The fact that they shut down
- 42:19Nord Stream kind of gets across. what the energy
- 42:22numbers may be looking like now as opposed to
- 42:24what they were looking like even when I was there.
- 42:26And winter is coming to use it. Winter is coming.
- 42:29So a drone that apparently a limp drone at that,
- 42:34I think it was like three of them, apparently
- 42:36tried to take down a cargo plane in Germany.
- 42:39And I kept thinking to myself, are you telling
- 42:41me that the Russians who are blowing the shit
- 42:43out of pretty much anything and everything in
- 42:46Ukraine using jet powered drones, the GERN drone,
- 42:51that they couldn't get one right when it hit
- 42:53the plane in Germany. It was like, okay, this
- 42:56makes sense. Good point, very good point. They
- 42:59specialize in drones. Well, not to mention, right,
- 43:03drones don't travel hundreds and hundreds of
- 43:05miles. They can't. And that they have a limited
- 43:08range in which they're going, meaning unless
- 43:10you have an airplane. They were launched domestically,
- 43:12had to have been. It had had been somewhere close.
- 43:15And yet. the drone was poorly constructed and
- 43:19it's like the Russians did it. And even the other
- 43:23idea was like we found a weapons cache. If I
- 43:25were the Russians, I'd be insulted. You'd be
- 43:27like, you don't think we're better than that?
- 43:30We have been hitting Ukraine every day with drones.
- 43:34We've been blowing up. Everybody knows Russia's
- 43:37drone game is excellent. Yeah. And yet the Germans
- 43:40looking at a poorly constructed drone is thinking
- 43:42the Russians did it. The weapons cache that is
- 43:45apparently was set up professionally for russian
- 43:48spies to get their hands on in order to assassinate
- 43:50germans again they're not even assassinating
- 43:54ukrainians who they're in a war with but by the
- 43:56way if the russians want you dead you're gonna
- 43:59have a cup of polonium tea or you're gonna go
- 44:01out a window or whatever or you get or your plane's
- 44:04gonna have a problem like hey that's what's that
- 44:07funny sound from the engine right it's gonna
- 44:09be right yeah but go to learn that the hard way
- 44:11right um but it was an accident classified as
- 44:14a mistake It's fucking stupid. Listen, it's perfectly
- 44:22normal for there to be a grenade on a commercial
- 44:25plane that just happens to go off at 40 ,000.
- 44:29It happens all the time. That's true. I mean,
- 44:32who can't say that hasn't happened to them on
- 44:34a plane? Of course. I mean, it's kind of like
- 44:37an average passenger. Just last week, Clovis,
- 44:41I mean, we say no more. Right. All right. Let's
- 44:44let's move on here. Crown Heights Brainiac. Thanks
- 44:47for the $4 .99. Mr. Bonespur is calling Americans
- 44:50lazy. Oh, the irony. So true. Effy So thanks
- 44:54for the dollar and an explanation. Kite eating
- 44:56tree cartoon idea was because you love peanuts
- 44:58like me. Yeah, I'm gay for peanuts. And Israel
- 45:02banning is Palestinian kids flying kites, even
- 45:06killing them. Yeah, you've heard about that,
- 45:09right? They banned it's amazing the politics
- 45:12of kite -flying whether it be Afghanistan or
- 45:15or that it's for the Israelis It's so absurd
- 45:19Have you ever had a conversation with Israeli
- 45:21like where they're talking to you and they're
- 45:25I wasn't heading up to Nepal my entire trip.
- 45:29I was sitting beside two Israelis Both were IDF
- 45:33members and at the time it wasn't overly political,
- 45:35but I had been traveling through Egypt for the
- 45:37good three, four weeks, I've been in Egypt for
- 45:41like a month. And so you see like a lot of stuff
- 45:44that they show you on air that they would never
- 45:46show you in the United States. And so by the
- 45:48time I'm talking to them, I'm like, well, dude,
- 45:50you're destroying olive trees, you're destroying
- 45:52this, you're demolishing this. And at some point
- 45:55he was like, you're right, I can understand why
- 45:58people would think about us in that particular
- 46:00way. And even with Fertle, he was like, I lived
- 46:02in some of the occupied areas where they had
- 46:04to put up like Bob wire and stuff like that in
- 46:07order to keep people from throwing things at
- 46:08him and everything else. He's like, I get it.
- 46:11I was like, thank you for being honest. This
- 46:13fits within that. It's just ways of punishing
- 46:16people. Just ways of making people's lives miserable.
- 46:19Yeah, they're sadists. And yeah, I mean, the
- 46:22thing is when you look, the thing is anybody
- 46:24who is radical, who is totally Zionist just needs
- 46:29to go to Israel. Go to Jerusalem and just look
- 46:32at the checkpoints and the way that they treat
- 46:34the Palestinians. Just do that. Just do that
- 46:38and tell me that it's okay. As an American, I
- 46:41go through in two minutes, Palestinians wait
- 46:44six hours in it. Yeah, and it's on purpose. You
- 46:47know, I mean, they're fucking around. It's like
- 46:49it's a system, right? Okay, Douglas Hoban. Robbie
- 46:55still believing in the US is paying for Europe
- 46:57propaganda. um richie dupe i think the algo has
- 47:02picked up deprogrammed this is on youtube it's
- 47:05a feature channel on my feed on my feed today
- 47:08what's the algo the algorithm oh oh okay he said
- 47:13the algorithm that just picked it up yeah well
- 47:15that that would explain the big jump that's good
- 47:17i mean yeah that's good better better a year
- 47:22and a half late than never but right thank you
- 47:26youtube it never hit that number oh no no really
- 47:30no no i mean there was the crazy there was the
- 47:33crazy month uh that you know when he first hit
- 47:36and was going viral and stuff like that um and
- 47:39the numbers got like up to 5 000 something like
- 47:42that so this is a this is a new level i mean
- 47:45i think if it stays here if it does if it's anything
- 47:48like this will it's a it's a new it's a new level
- 47:51for sure um It's good. All right, two more stories.
- 47:55I'm glad we're hitting our targets a little faster
- 47:58than yesterday. Okay, so the triumphal arch,
- 48:03which by the way violates DC law because it's
- 48:05going to be higher than the Washington Monument,
- 48:07right? Then you're not supposed to... It's supposed
- 48:09to be that high. 250 feet. I don't know what
- 48:13the height of the Washington Monument is. I'm
- 48:15looking that up. Well, no, I just mean this arch
- 48:17is going to be like the one in Paris. At least
- 48:19250 feet. OK, OK, I'm lying. It's not taller
- 48:22than the Washington Monument. Not even close.
- 48:24But it's shorter than it's half the height of
- 48:27the Washington Monument. But anyway, I love how
- 48:30Trump said this is going to honor the Arlington
- 48:33National Cemetery because it'll be near there.
- 48:35I'm like, the Arlington National Cemetery is
- 48:38already an honor. It's its own honor. It is an
- 48:44honor to be buried in Arlington. It is an honor,
- 48:47right? I mean, it's like, it doesn't really need
- 48:50to be honored and also do justice to the Capitol.
- 48:53I'm like, it's already the Capitol. I mean, you
- 48:56know, what's this adding to anything? It's also
- 49:04so ugly and you know, look I'm gonna I'm gonna
- 49:08go full Jamarro here. This won't happen I mean,
- 49:12I remember I had a professor Robert Paxton fascism
- 49:14professor and he told me that there's a He was
- 49:19like well, the thing is in a revolution, right?
- 49:21Like the revolutionaries never tear down the
- 49:24old shit. They move into the infrastructure,
- 49:26right? So Like, you know, the Soviet, the Bolsheviks,
- 49:30they move into, you know, what's it called? The
- 49:34presidential palace. Into the Kremlin. They move
- 49:37into the Kremlin, right? In France, they move
- 49:42into, you know, the Elysee Palace, right? They
- 49:46just, everybody just sort of moves into the old
- 49:48shit. And that's kind of like, Democrats will
- 49:53at some point, presumably, be in charge again.
- 49:56They will not come with a bulldozer and knock
- 49:59down this ugly piece of shit. It'll stay there.
- 50:02You know, everything just stays. Even temporary
- 50:05shit. The Washington Square Park Arch in New
- 50:10York City was meant to be temporary, but it was
- 50:13like, ah, we're just gonna keep it. Eiffel Tower
- 50:15was meant to be temporary. Eiffel Tower was meant
- 50:18to be temporary? Meant to be temporary. And it
- 50:20was like, oh, we like it. We're going to keep
- 50:22it. So, you know, are you sure about that? I'll
- 50:26look it up again, but I'm pretty sure. Yeah,
- 50:30I will. Because I thought it was an artistic
- 50:32thing that people hated in the beginning, but
- 50:34it was built for a fair. It was for the 1889
- 50:38World's Fair. Yeah, it was never it was intended
- 50:41to be taken down when it got done. But the people
- 50:43was supposed to be taken down after 20 years.
- 50:45Oh, I didn't know that. 20 years? Nobody's taking
- 50:48stuff down after 20 years. Nobody's doing that.
- 50:5320 years. Also, by the time the 1909 permit expired,
- 50:57because it was built in 1889, the tower had proven
- 51:01too valuable as a radio antenna to tear down.
- 51:05During the wars, that's right. Well, before the
- 51:07war, yeah. But yeah. Yeah, so. So, yeah, I mean,
- 51:12the point is nothing. I mean, I would love it
- 51:14if just for once Democrats were like, We're tearing
- 51:16down the ballroom. We're putting down, we're
- 51:18putting, we're putting this wing back up. We're
- 51:21rebuilding Jackie O's, uh, you know, Rose garden
- 51:23and the, and the arch, we're calling out a fucking
- 51:26airstrike on that. Do it Trump style where it's
- 51:29like, we're gonna do it on national television.
- 51:31We're going to, everybody can come and watch.
- 51:33Cool. Yeah. Blow that fucker up. Tear down the
- 51:38ball from, they should do that just out of malice.
- 51:41Yeah. Out of malice and out of principle. Um,
- 51:45But anyway, so but okay, so this is a for people
- 51:47who are watching overseas You might say well
- 51:49why who gives a fucking shit and that's a fair
- 51:51question And look this what this is is this is
- 51:54a this announcement is a direct response to the
- 51:57supreme court allowing trump to Even though the
- 52:01supreme court basically said it's illegal to
- 52:04build the ballroom at the white house without
- 52:07congressional approval They basically punted
- 52:10on separation of powers and now The now trump
- 52:14is on the loose. He's like, all right Well, i'm
- 52:15gonna fucking do whatever I want so he's building
- 52:17this with taxpayer money I mean, you know look
- 52:20it's hardly the biggest waste of taxpayer money
- 52:22going on. That would be the wars but it's still
- 52:26interesting and um, you know, it just shows that
- 52:30when you You know, it shows that when separation
- 52:33of powers crumble And you have an asshole in
- 52:37charge who's willing to take advantage of it
- 52:39that like all decency and self -control Goes
- 52:42out the window and yeah, that's that's what we
- 52:46have now. I mean god knows what this fucker is
- 52:48going to build now I don't think I would care
- 52:53so much if it wasn't for the other stuff Like
- 52:57I don't know like this seems like an ego thing.
- 52:58This is like penis envy I don't know what this
- 53:00well if he wasn't blowing up iranians for israel
- 53:03I I might not care but yeah, but he's building
- 53:06random stuff almost as if a distraction like
- 53:10hey Look at this new arch. Look at this new ballroom.
- 53:12Look at these things that I've added. It's like,
- 53:14dude, you've cost us literally somewhere like
- 53:18a hundred billion dollars. He's like Saddam,
- 53:21like during the Iran -Iraq war. The country's
- 53:24getting fucked up, and he's building monuments
- 53:27to himself all over the country. Well, it's what
- 53:29Caligula did. I mean, how does this any different?
- 53:32Seriously, I mean, the man burned down half of
- 53:34Rome so he could build a palace to himself. Yeah.
- 53:38I mean, that's what Trump's doing. We should
- 53:40call them boots. That's what Cleggula means,
- 53:42by the way, in Latin. Oh, I didn't know that.
- 53:44It means a little shoe. Boots Trump. Yeah. Well,
- 53:49no, but Mr. Bonespurrs does need better arch
- 53:51support. So he's getting an arch. He's getting
- 53:54some arch support. I can see it. It's so pathetic.
- 53:57Like he has literally cost each American around
- 54:01the neighborhood of like a thousand dollars.
- 54:03because of the inflation and everything else
- 54:05as a result of the wars that he's effectively
- 54:07running. And he's building the stuff. And as
- 54:10you point out, attacking, basically saying Americans
- 54:12aren't working hard enough. Oh, we have to help
- 54:15the Argentinians over American farmers. Diesel
- 54:18is like six bucks in Richmond. And if it's six
- 54:22bucks in Richmond, who is typically low in regards
- 54:24to the gas prices across the United States, what
- 54:27is it in other locations? And again, this is
- 54:30farming. Fertilizer anything that you're going
- 54:32back from the store from the standpoint of grains
- 54:34and wheat and those type of things. That's what's
- 54:35gonna go through the roof Totally. We got to
- 54:38talk about the Falklands. So in 1982 if memory
- 54:42serves the Argentinian Argentina invaded the
- 54:49Falkland Islands, which is a British colony and
- 54:53obviously Understandably the Argentine's Argentina
- 54:57claims it it's obviously much closer to them
- 55:01than it is to England. Things of, you know, the
- 55:04Brits under Maggie Thatcher successfully kicked
- 55:08the Argentinians out. It still remains a point
- 55:11of conflict. Malay basically is once, is now,
- 55:17you know, as a nationalist, is saber rattling
- 55:20over Argentina. The official U .S. stance is
- 55:24neutrality, like. you know, well, whatever you
- 55:27guys work it out has nothing to do with us. Trump
- 55:29said that he might reconsider that for Argentina
- 55:32and then end up, you know, basically supporting
- 55:35Argentina's claim. I'm very torn about this.
- 55:39He's, Millet, by the way, is basically trying
- 55:42to sort of very trumpily go after a British oil
- 55:46concession in the Falklands. which he claims
- 55:50is also draining Argentina's oil reserves, which
- 55:55are partly also under Argentina proper. And so
- 56:00he's trying to block it with sanctions and with
- 56:02a military blockade. So obviously tensions are
- 56:07rising there. I'm really sympathetic to Argentina's
- 56:11claim over the fault loads. You know, I'm anti
- 56:14-colonialist and I think Probably the Falklands
- 56:16belong to Argentina properly, but the same time
- 56:20I hate Malay because he's a right -wing shithead
- 56:24and he's like it and he's imposing massive draconian
- 56:28Austerity cuts on the Argentine people for no
- 56:32good reason while he lines the pockets of the
- 56:34wealthy elites. So he's an asshole This is one
- 56:37of those cases in my view that like the asshole
- 56:40happens to be right. What do you think? I Think
- 56:43the asshole happens to be right. I think those
- 56:44are Argentinian lands, meaning taking the layout
- 56:47of it for a second. Those lands are far closer
- 56:51as opposed to British colonialists who are like
- 56:54thousands of miles away who've decided that these
- 56:56are now British colony. Okay, well, that's interesting.
- 56:59They look nothing like Britain. You're nowhere
- 57:02near Britain. Yeah, if you could take it back,
- 57:05it's fair game. It's Argentinian. Why don't you
- 57:07just let the people do their vote? I mean, do
- 57:09you want to live when you all would be part of
- 57:11the United Kingdom or the failed imploding nation
- 57:14of Argentina? Have you seen the UK recently?
- 57:18That's a dumpster fire for sure. That's what
- 57:21I'm saying. But the UK is not the one having
- 57:25the American president bail out their food industry.
- 57:28The problem is that you would have, there's a
- 57:30lot of Brits who live there and they'd be allowed
- 57:32to vote, right? So the colonists would be voting
- 57:35too. It's a lot of Brits there. Let's be honest,
- 57:39it's a colony. They're right beside Argentina.
- 57:43I don't care about Britain's claim on colonies
- 57:47thousands of miles away. I just don't. If Malay
- 57:51has the power to take Falklands back, God bless
- 57:53them. If Trump helps them, even more so. I don't
- 57:55care about the Brits. Right. Right. No. Yeah.
- 58:00So it's obviously... And by the way, the United
- 58:06States was involved here. the Argentinians took
- 58:09it back from Spain in 1811, and then the U .S.
- 58:14in 1831. Would this have been Andrew Jackson,
- 58:19Robbie? The U .S. sent a warship down there to
- 58:22bomb the Argentinians and turn it over to the
- 58:26Brits. Maybe when we want brown people controlling
- 58:28their territory. God forbid. Well, that's probably
- 58:35because of the back then it doesn't have been
- 58:37the negotiations were happening, but when they
- 58:39were trying to figure out the border between
- 58:40Canada and the United States, that might've been
- 58:42a concession that like San Juan Island and all
- 58:44that shit. Yeah. Yeah. That, that could have
- 58:48been like a, like a, like a trade off, like a
- 58:52game of like a playing the game, the board game
- 58:55risk or something. Um, yeah. So that Trump is
- 58:59going to back the Brits for some reason, I feel
- 59:01like he backed my leg. I mean, he's backed them
- 59:03in everything else. Although all he said is I'm
- 59:06willing to reconsider. Like, yeah, it's not.
- 59:09Yeah, whatever that basically pay me. Who's going
- 59:12to give me what? Exactly, exactly. All right,
- 59:16guys, thanks for joining us. Q &A show is cancelled.
- 59:20The next one will be Monday at 12 noon. We'll
- 59:22be back Monday. No, actually, I'm lying. Labor
- 59:26Day is this coming Monday. Oh, Monday is Labor
- 59:28Day. That's right. Monday is Labor Day, National
- 59:30Holiday. In here on the program, we always respect
- 59:33National Holidays. So. We will see you Tuesday
- 59:37at 9 a .m. Eastern Time. Please stay tuned for
- 59:40TMI with me and Manila coming up right now. In

- 59:47podcast. Yes, Robbie. On Monday, I'll put together
- 59:51a rerun so that way you can get your deprogram
- 59:54fix on Monday. That's our guess. Be safe.
