- 0:01Speaker 1: Now on the Voice of New York. It's the Mark
- 0:04Speaker 1: Simone Show on sevent tenor.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Hey Friday. Finally, that's good news. It's not a bad
- 0:15Speaker 2: day to day.
- 0:16Speaker 3: Now.
- 0:16Speaker 2: If you're a Democrat, you're not going to like this.
- 0:18Speaker 2: The stock market is on fire and it's going to
- 0:21Speaker 2: hit fifty thousand again today. Nobody ever thought they'd live
- 0:25Speaker 2: to see a Dow at fifty thousand, but it's probably
- 0:28Speaker 2: going to hit that. It could hit it later today.
- 0:31Speaker 2: So be nice to your Democratic friends are going to
- 0:33Speaker 2: be in a very bad mood. They don't like to
- 0:35Speaker 2: see that. They'd like to see a crash. Right now.
- 0:38Speaker 2: We'll get to President Trump. We'll get to the White
- 0:41Speaker 2: House correspondence there, we'll get to Mom Donnie, we'll get
- 0:45Speaker 2: to Crazy Mayor Mom Donnie's latest, and we'll get to
- 0:49Speaker 2: Pete Hegsith and more So. The Democrats had these big
- 0:52Speaker 2: hearings yesterday. If you never I always try to explain
- 0:56Speaker 2: to you, Republicans stink at hearings. They don't know how
- 1:00Speaker 2: to do it. You know, they're asking questions and if
- 1:03Speaker 2: the guy doesn't answer, they slowly ask it again, and
- 1:07Speaker 2: it's like a conversation that nothing goes viral from that,
- 1:11Speaker 2: Democrats do a hearing. It's yelling and screaming. They call
- 1:14Speaker 2: the guy's names. If he even even tries to answer,
- 1:17Speaker 2: they shout him down. That goes viral. So we'll play
- 1:23Speaker 2: some clips of the left trying to destroy hegxith. So
- 1:27Speaker 2: the White House Correspondents dinner. Apparently here's the problem. You know,
- 1:32Speaker 2: for years the president wouldn't go to that dinner. I
- 1:35Speaker 2: had no interest in that dinner. All of a sudden
- 1:37Speaker 2: he goes. But you know, he's a great roaster. We've
- 1:41Speaker 2: never had a president who was a very experienced roaster. Now,
- 1:47Speaker 2: Ronald Reagan had a good sense of humor, and he
- 1:51Speaker 2: had done five or six Dean Martin ROAs, but those
- 1:55Speaker 2: were television roasts. They were kind of watered down for television.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Trump himself has done maybe a hundred, maybe more, maybe
- 2:05Speaker 2: a couple hundred roasts, and the biggest toughest roasts in
- 2:08Speaker 2: the world the Old Friars Club roast, not the one
- 2:11Speaker 2: on television, the ones right over there in the Hilton Ballroom.
- 2:14Speaker 2: I mean they were that was like the Major League,
- 2:17Speaker 2: the New York Yankees in the World Series of roasts,
- 2:19Speaker 2: and he did dozens and dozens and dozens, So he's
- 2:23Speaker 2: a real serious roaster. And he also apparently was going
- 2:27Speaker 2: to take this one real seriously. This is going to
- 2:29Speaker 2: be the greatest roast of these journalists, of these fake
- 2:33Speaker 2: news figures. He was going to just level them with
- 2:36Speaker 2: this stuff. So he had a unbelievable speech ready to go.
- 2:40Speaker 2: That's why when all the chaos happened, he fought so
- 2:43Speaker 2: hard to go back and do this because he had
- 2:45Speaker 2: spent months coming up with the greatest speech ever. Now
- 2:48Speaker 2: it couldn't go back because the secrets apparently they were
- 2:52Speaker 2: really arguing and the Secret Service that we have to
- 2:54Speaker 2: completely sweep the room, the hotel, the whole first and
- 2:57Speaker 2: second foot. We could, and he said, we'll do it.
- 3:00Speaker 2: It's going to take four or five hours. He realized
- 3:03Speaker 2: it would be three in the morning when he got back,
- 3:04Speaker 2: no point. So that was the end of that. And
- 3:06Speaker 2: then he kept saying in the press commerce we'll do
- 3:08Speaker 2: this in a month, We'll try to do it within
- 3:10Speaker 2: thirty days. I don't know, you know, it's the impact
- 3:16Speaker 2: would have been great with these roasting jokes, but after
- 3:19Speaker 2: what happened, it's a little delicate, so I don't know
- 3:21Speaker 2: if it'll ever really work, But it'll save the jokes,
- 3:23Speaker 2: so you'll use them somewhere else. Now, after what happened,
- 3:26Speaker 2: people have suggested he should wear a bulletproof vest because
- 3:32Speaker 2: in Butler, the shooter hit him in the ear on
- 3:36Speaker 2: the golf course at mar A Lago. The shooter was
- 3:39Speaker 2: not able to shoot, but had the Secret Service guy
- 3:41Speaker 2: and that spotted him, he would have had a shot
- 3:43Speaker 2: at President Trump. And had this lunatic got into the ballroom,
- 3:48Speaker 2: he would have had a shot at President Trump. So
- 3:50Speaker 2: should he wear a bulletproof vest? Maybe there were times
- 3:54Speaker 2: where George Bush wore a bulletproof vest. I think of
- 3:59Speaker 2: a couple of occasions were Reagan War one. But the
- 4:01Speaker 2: problem with Trump it loves to look good in that suit.
- 4:04Speaker 2: He's a little overweight. You know, we all are, but
- 4:06Speaker 2: he's a little overweight, and if you put on that vest,
- 4:10Speaker 2: you look really fat. That's what happened with Bush a
- 4:13Speaker 2: couple of times when he wore one. Everybody thought, what
- 4:15Speaker 2: happened to him? I'd gained so much weight. It was
- 4:17Speaker 2: the vest, and Trump was asked about it.
- 4:19Speaker 4: If there talks about you potentially wearing a bulletproof vest.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Moving forward, given you have now been shot at. I
- 4:25Speaker 5: don't know if I can handle looking twenty pounds here.
- 4:32Speaker 2: Somebody these got physical, somebody, these guys.
- 4:39Speaker 1: I don't want to be near him.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Yeah, you gotta be Obama could wear a bulletproof vest,
- 4:44Speaker 2: nice and thin, wouldn't have wouldn't have affected him so much.
- 4:48Speaker 2: So I don't think you'll ever see that bulletproof fest. Now,
- 4:51Speaker 2: what they could do if he's going to appear at
- 4:53Speaker 2: something like that correspondence dinner, you could put that plexa
- 4:57Speaker 2: glass up there. Remember in the outdoor rallies, there was
- 4:59Speaker 2: a time where they put up that bulletproof glass in
- 5:02Speaker 2: front of him and he kind of spoke from behind it.
- 5:05Speaker 2: It's not great. It makes you look like like you're
- 5:08Speaker 2: a bank teller behind that glass. It's not a good effect.
- 5:12Speaker 2: So the king is gone, Thank god, he's left. Now,
- 5:17Speaker 2: you people with your no Kings rallies and you know
- 5:19Speaker 2: kings sons, you know you can never do it again.
- 5:23Speaker 2: I'm afraid you can't do it ever again because it'll
- 5:27Speaker 2: look ridiculous. You're out in the street all over America,
- 5:29Speaker 2: every city, no kings, thousands now hundreds of millions of you,
- 5:33Speaker 2: and now there was a real king here all over
- 5:36Speaker 2: the place, and you're not one protester showed up. So
- 5:39Speaker 2: here's our actual king, and you didn't protest, so you
- 5:42Speaker 2: obviously have lost all credibility. Obviously you have nothing against kings.
- 5:46Speaker 2: It's just trumped arrangement syndrome. So now Hexath Pete Hexath
- 5:51Speaker 2: testifying before Congress, and the war in Iran could not
- 5:56Speaker 2: go any better. I mean, it'd be great if they
- 5:58Speaker 2: just surrendered and gave us everything, but that's nobody expected
- 6:01Speaker 2: that that fast. But the militarily absolute crushed them in
- 6:06Speaker 2: one second, wiped out their military completely. As long as
- 6:10Speaker 2: we keep the straits straight off hor Mooose blocked, we've
- 6:12Speaker 2: got them totally shut down their economy. They have absolutely
- 6:15Speaker 2: no revenue coming in. So it's a great success so far.
- 6:20Speaker 2: And it's only two months. I know the president is
- 6:24Speaker 2: under the law, you're supposed to get congressional authority after
- 6:27Speaker 2: I think it's ninety days now. The President is arguing
- 6:31Speaker 2: that the moment the cease fire started, the clock stops
- 6:34Speaker 2: on that ninety days. So if they resume after four
- 6:37Speaker 2: weeks of ceasefire, he's saying the clock has stopped. I
- 6:41Speaker 2: think he's right. He's got a I mean, based on
- 6:43Speaker 2: simple logic, he's right. So Hexath is testifying. They're trying
- 6:47Speaker 2: to get them every which way. They're accusing him of everything.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Now again, Republicans, it's like a courtroom. You know, they're
- 6:55Speaker 2: very proper, and they ask the questions. Democrats, they call
- 6:58Speaker 2: you names, They accuse you of being a crook, thief
- 7:00Speaker 2: of everything in the world. Listen to Elizabeth Warren trying
- 7:04Speaker 2: to make the case that Hexith is a committed financial crime.
- 7:07Speaker 6: I'd like to hear you say, did you, through your
- 7:10Speaker 6: broker at Morgan Stanley or otherwise seek to invest in
- 7:14Speaker 6: any defense related funds right before Trump started the Iran War.
- 7:19Speaker 7: I'll give it to you as a big fat negative.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Then let me ask you a second question. Is your
- 7:26Speaker 6: broker getting your personal sign off on any investment in
- 7:31Speaker 6: individual Stogger fatter negative?
- 7:34Speaker 2: See? Now, none of this is true, but this is
- 7:37Speaker 2: the way the democratic world works. This is the way
- 7:40Speaker 2: the fake news works. Elizabeth Warren, Banking Committee asked about
- 7:44Speaker 2: these shady financial transactions. Now they never happened, but it
- 7:49Speaker 2: doesn't matter. He was asked about it under oath, he
- 7:51Speaker 2: denied it, and it's enough for the fake news. You'll
- 7:54Speaker 2: see this all over the fake news. Hexath, confronted about
- 7:57Speaker 2: his suspicious financial and investments, denied it. They'll never mentioned
- 8:03Speaker 2: there was no reason even suspected. They're no truth to
- 8:05Speaker 2: it at all. So all the sleeves ball Bloomenthals try to,
- 8:09Speaker 2: you know, argue the war is a total disaster. We've
- 8:11Speaker 2: never had such a disaster. We completely wiped out their
- 8:16Speaker 2: military like the first day. But it's a total disaster.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Hexatha wasn't putting up with any of.
- 8:20Speaker 7: This stop based on the.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Because you yelled doesn't make you la about economy.
- 8:27Speaker 7: You know what is upset? Incredible?
- 8:29Speaker 4: Well, I would say the blockade that we hold that
- 8:32Speaker 4: doesn't allow anything to come in or out of Iranian ports.
- 8:35Speaker 7: Okay, so always so.
- 8:36Speaker 8: We've blockaded, they blockaded us, and then we blockaded their blockade.
- 8:41Speaker 7: You care a lot about President Trump, don't you.
- 8:43Speaker 4: You're going to waste of your five minutes huge.
- 8:47Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's enough two uh for the fake news,
- 8:51Speaker 2: because then the Democrats are watching this straight or horn
- 8:54Speaker 2: moves is shut down and now they go, oh my god,
- 8:57Speaker 2: it's shut down. They never explained to the audience it
- 9:01Speaker 2: doesn't affect us in any way. We never get any
- 9:03Speaker 2: oil from the straight or hormuse. We don't need it
- 9:05Speaker 2: for anything. A shutdown only means that Iran has no income.
- 9:09Speaker 2: They're the ones that use it. If they can't move
- 9:11Speaker 2: oil through there, they have zero income. Their economy is crushed.
- 9:15Speaker 2: They never explained that on the freak news, so they
- 9:18Speaker 2: just keep going after him and after him, even quiet
- 9:21Speaker 2: little Christian Gilibrand there's.
- 9:23Speaker 9: No evidence that we are safer because of this war.
- 9:26Speaker 9: We did not have any evidence that Iran intended to
- 9:29Speaker 9: imminently attack this country in any way, shape or form.
- 9:32Speaker 9: So I disagree with your assessment that we are under threat.
- 9:36Speaker 7: Do you believe them when they say death to America?
- 9:39Speaker 9: Listen, our adversaries use rhetoric all the time.
- 9:44Speaker 2: Now, Democrats were saying the same thing about Olama bin Laden.
- 9:47Speaker 2: There's no threat. There's no evidence of any actual threat.
- 9:51Speaker 2: And again back to Elizabeth Warren.
- 9:53Speaker 4: What I give, what you give, what others give. I'm
- 9:56Speaker 4: not looking for money. I don't do it for money.
- 9:57Speaker 4: I don't do it for profit. I don't do it
- 9:58Speaker 4: for stocks. And that's or of the reason why I'm
- 10:00Speaker 4: able to be effective in this job. Because no one
- 10:02Speaker 4: owns me, No one owns this department. No one owns
- 10:05Speaker 4: this president, and we can execute for the American people,
- 10:08Speaker 4: and we do.
- 10:09Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to give her credit to what is
- 10:11Speaker 2: she ninetyes? She looks like Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies,
- 10:14Speaker 2: and she's yelling and screaming at this guy. They went
- 10:16Speaker 2: after him for everything.
- 10:17Speaker 7: I don't know what you're insinuating.
- 10:18Speaker 2: Yeah, that he's not a Christian. I don't know something.
- 10:20Speaker 4: I don't know what you're insinuating, Senator, But I am
- 10:23Speaker 4: not ashamed of my faith.
- 10:24Speaker 7: In Jesus Christ.
- 10:25Speaker 10: Well, im, you shouldn't be.
- 10:26Speaker 7: And if you want to shame me for it, go ahead.
- 10:28Speaker 11: I'm not shaming you. But are you critical of other faith?
- 10:33Speaker 4: I am a believer, I'm quite open in that, and
- 10:35Speaker 4: our department allows for a multitude of faith.
- 10:37Speaker 7: So I don't know what you're suggesting.
- 10:39Speaker 4: I've heard the likes of things that people like you
- 10:41Speaker 4: suggest to try to smear.
- 10:43Speaker 7: Up my character, and I won't give into it.
- 10:46Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it's a good point. What is the
- 10:48Speaker 2: point of these questions? The guy's the Defense secretary in
- 10:52Speaker 2: the middle of a war. He's supposed to be asking
- 10:54Speaker 2: war questions, actual detailed questions about what's going on. Instead,
- 10:57Speaker 2: they're talking about his faith, they're talking about his Zac account,
- 11:00Speaker 2: They're trying to get him for anything and everything. Completely ridiculous.
- 11:06Speaker 2: So hey, crazy little mom Donnie, uh, you know he
- 11:10Speaker 2: started this. I actually will give you Andrew Cuomo credit.
- 11:13Speaker 2: He was the first one to really pushed that Pieta
- 11:16Speaker 2: tear tax. Remember Cuomo was the most left wing, woke,
- 11:20Speaker 2: crazy left wing policies, no bail, no jail, close our
- 11:24Speaker 2: power plants, closed the prisons, let people out. And he
- 11:28Speaker 2: was pushing that Pieta tear at tax. It was actually
- 11:32Speaker 2: it never happened back then, but now they're trying to
- 11:33Speaker 2: make it happen. And Mom, Donnie targeted a billionaire, Ken Griffin.
- 11:38Speaker 2: He actually targeted this guy. He even made a video
- 11:41Speaker 2: in front of his house pointing to it and this
- 11:43Speaker 2: is where Ken Griffin lives. I mean, it's a terrible
- 11:45Speaker 2: thing to do when you know you got these nut
- 11:48Speaker 2: job protesters out there, Mom, Donnie, just awful to Ken Griffin.
- 11:52Speaker 4: Like for this penhouse, the Touch one CEO Ken Griffin
- 11:56Speaker 4: bought for two hundred and thirty eight million dollars.
- 11:58Speaker 1: This Pierre tear a tax specifically designed for the richest
- 12:01Speaker 1: of the rich.
- 12:02Speaker 2: Yeah, well good, what's wrong with that? I mean, if
- 12:07Speaker 2: somebody said they've just opened a major new slum on
- 12:11Speaker 2: fifty ninth Street, would we be happy? Was it great?
- 12:15Speaker 12: So?
- 12:16Speaker 2: Somebody a few years ago, was it Zecondorf? Somebody built
- 12:19Speaker 2: I think was Zeckendorf built two twenty Central Park South.
- 12:23Speaker 2: They started this project about fifteen years ago. It was
- 12:26Speaker 2: to be the finest apartment building ever in New York
- 12:31Speaker 2: and it took a long time. Go look at it.
- 12:32Speaker 2: It is the finest. It's considered the finest number one
- 12:37Speaker 2: apartment building in New York right now. And for example,
- 12:41Speaker 2: this penhouse Ken Griffin bought two hundred and forty million.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Two hundred and forty million. That's a Now, why would
- 12:47Speaker 2: you get upset if you're a mayor or if you're
- 12:49Speaker 2: a city. This kind of activity is going on. The
- 12:52Speaker 2: billionaires of the world. They're moving here. What does a
- 12:54Speaker 2: billionaire do when he gets here? Spends money, spends money
- 12:58Speaker 2: all over the place, and he puts business here. Ken Griffin,
- 13:03Speaker 2: as we speak, although he may cancel it now as
- 13:06Speaker 2: he speak, was working on a skyscraper at fifty second
- 13:10Speaker 2: in Park, an enormous skyscraper. It would take five years
- 13:14Speaker 2: to build, It would employ six thousand construction workers, and
- 13:18Speaker 2: when it opens, it would create fifteen thousand jobs in
- 13:24Speaker 2: the city. Now, what kind of mayor would say to
- 13:26Speaker 2: a guy like that, get out, we don't want you here.
- 13:29Speaker 2: Take you fifteen thousand. Who would get mad at this
- 13:31Speaker 2: guy when you find out a guy is doing a
- 13:34Speaker 2: project like that and you're the mayor. Every other mayor,
- 13:37Speaker 2: governor smart politics whenever they hear of something like this,
- 13:40Speaker 2: they call the guy immediately, Hey, if you'd like to meet,
- 13:44Speaker 2: if I can help you in any way, What can
- 13:45Speaker 2: we do for you to help you get this thing built?
- 13:48Speaker 2: That's what you're supposed to do. It's just absolutely insane.
- 13:51Speaker 2: But Ken Griffin has been going after Mom Donnie. He's
- 13:55Speaker 2: doing interviews and he's talking about Mom Donnie.
- 13:58Speaker 8: I think the willingness Mayor to make this a policy
- 14:01Speaker 8: debate a personal attack just demonstrated a profound lack of judgment.
- 14:06Speaker 2: It does. It's insane, it's illogical, it's irrational, and apparently hocal.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Although she's the one pushing this Pieta tear attacks, apparently
- 14:16Speaker 2: she wants to meet with Ken Griffin.
- 14:18Speaker 8: We'll talk about our future direction New York.
- 14:20Speaker 1: Here's the real question.
- 14:22Speaker 8: Is New York going to put their fiscal house to
- 14:24Speaker 8: order and run itself from a position of a strong
- 14:26Speaker 8: government that's pro business or are they looking to play
- 14:31Speaker 8: Why did the Americans think we can do socialism?
- 14:33Speaker 13: Yeah?
- 14:34Speaker 2: Now, the other thing is this guy Ken Griffin is
- 14:36Speaker 2: worth fifty billion, and we do that, and the kind
- 14:40Speaker 2: of stuff he's done in his career, you become an
- 14:43Speaker 2: unbelievable expert at running a business, at efficient business, at
- 14:48Speaker 2: running your budget. Now, Mamdani should beg Ken Griffin to
- 14:53Speaker 2: give him some lessons. It cost two million dollars to
- 14:56Speaker 2: open a grocery store. I mean a good grocery store.
- 14:59Speaker 2: I mean a you know, a great, great grocery store
- 15:03Speaker 2: that opens in New York, a supermarket chain. Two million
- 15:05Speaker 2: to open one Mom Donnie's opening a little tiny dump
- 15:09Speaker 2: in the Harlem of a grocery store. Thirty million, twenty
- 15:13Speaker 2: eight million more than it should cost. Now, and they
- 15:17Speaker 2: do this with everything. It costs forty thousand dollars a
- 15:21Speaker 2: mile to pay highway. We spend a million dollars a mile.
- 15:25Speaker 2: They're just wasting and wasting taxpayer money. You should beg
- 15:30Speaker 2: every Ken Griffin to come help you straighten this out.
- 15:32Speaker 1: Now.
- 15:33Speaker 2: They don't want to do it because why would they
- 15:35Speaker 2: pay ten thousand percent more than they have to for everything?
- 15:38Speaker 2: Because they're taking care of contractors unions in exchange for
- 15:42Speaker 2: donations and votes, so they don't want that game busted up.
- 15:46Speaker 2: But hey, we'll take some calls next. Eight hundred three
- 15:49Speaker 2: to two one zero seven ten is the number. Eight
- 15:52Speaker 2: hundred three two one zero seven ten.
- 15:56Speaker 1: Set up preset on the iHeartRadio app to dou woor
- 15:59Speaker 1: to hear Mark live. Set another for Mark's podcast to
- 16:03Speaker 1: hear him any time. Now back to Mark Simone on woor.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 16:13Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three
- 16:18Speaker 2: two one zero seven ten. Let's go to Jack and
- 16:21Speaker 2: pauling Jack, how you doing.
- 16:24Speaker 12: Good morning, Mark, Mark. You made a comment yesterday that
- 16:28Speaker 12: we would have gladly paid twenty five billion to prevent
- 16:32Speaker 12: nine to eleven, referring to the criticism of the Democrats
- 16:36Speaker 12: and Conress.
- 16:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you mentioned twenty five instead of recapping
- 16:41Speaker 2: yesterday's show. Is there something you wanted to say? Well,
- 16:46Speaker 2: I guess no.
- 16:47Speaker 12: Weapon five megaton bomb hitting New York City would instantly
- 16:51Speaker 12: kill five million people. I think most Americans don't know.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I think everybody realizes that's the whole point to stop that.
- 16:57Speaker 12: Well, I don't know if they end well.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Maybe word didn't go up to Pauling yet. Yeah, that's
- 17:02Speaker 2: the whole point of this. And it's not only their
- 17:04Speaker 2: nuclear material. We didn't really we knew they had rockets
- 17:08Speaker 2: and missiles. We didn't realize how long range they were.
- 17:11Speaker 2: They had him up to about fifteen hundred miles, which
- 17:13Speaker 2: meant they could hit Europe left and right in all
- 17:17Speaker 2: kinds of places. And that's just a matter of time
- 17:19Speaker 2: before they get up to two three thousand miles and
- 17:22Speaker 2: can hit us. So that was the reason for this.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Let's go to Mike and Florida. Mike, how you doing,
- 17:28Speaker 2: Good morning, Mark. Yes, Mike.
- 17:30Speaker 11: You know there were two things about these HEGs hearings
- 17:33Speaker 11: that I find interesting. One, for seventy five years, the
- 17:36Speaker 11: Democrats have been crying about how what a rotten guy
- 17:39Speaker 11: Joe McCarthy was. Meanwhile, they looked make him look like
- 17:42Speaker 11: a piker compared to the way he behaved and the
- 17:45Speaker 11: way they behaved here. And the other thing is, as
- 17:49Speaker 11: you pointed out, Republicans are terrible at that. They think
- 17:52Speaker 11: that they can stand on the truths and facts and
- 17:56Speaker 11: being unemotional and detached from the emotional part of the argum,
- 18:00Speaker 11: and they're wrong. It doesn't work. It doesn't work. Hegss
- 18:04Speaker 11: can cite all the facts he wants, he's gonna come
- 18:07Speaker 11: out looking bad on this.
- 18:09Speaker 2: Yeah, but you don't want to do what they do,
- 18:11Speaker 2: which they just yell and scream and accuse you of
- 18:13Speaker 2: everything in the world because they know that'll go viral.
- 18:15Speaker 2: They never let it. If you try to answer, they'll
- 18:18Speaker 2: cut you off. They do I want you to answer.
- 18:20Speaker 11: I know. I wish we would go viral one. So
- 18:22Speaker 11: I wish one of these guys would hop out of
- 18:23Speaker 11: the seat and bop one of them in a nose
- 18:25Speaker 11: one of these days. That's what I'd like to see.
- 18:27Speaker 2: Yeah, But the problem is that Pam BONDI try to
- 18:29Speaker 2: do that, and then all they do is attacker left
- 18:31Speaker 2: and right. Look how disrespectful she was, Look how awful
- 18:34Speaker 2: it is.
- 18:34Speaker 11: True, it's true, it's a no, it's a really no way.
- 18:36Speaker 11: It's a terrible knowing such situation for Republicans. It's unfortunate
- 18:40Speaker 11: that they keep trying and to no avail.
- 18:45Speaker 2: Mike, what's the temperature in Florida right now?
- 18:47Speaker 12: Right now?
- 18:48Speaker 11: It's eighty three. Uh, it's it's been close to ninety
- 18:53Speaker 11: the last couple of days.
- 18:53Speaker 2: So it's getting to that point of the year. Like
- 18:57Speaker 2: next weekend is Mother's Day. That's when mar A Lago
- 19:01Speaker 2: closes for the season, a lot of stuff closes, everybody
- 19:04Speaker 2: flees Florida. For everybody wants to move to Florida, will
- 19:07Speaker 2: you tell them that for like four months, it's one
- 19:08Speaker 2: hundred degrees and unbearable.
- 19:11Speaker 11: It's unbearable, and the weather services are already all excited
- 19:16Speaker 11: about hurricane season and hurricane preparedness, and that becomes their
- 19:19Speaker 11: mantra for the next four or five months, and it's
- 19:22Speaker 11: it's relentless and it's very unnerving to be honest with you.
- 19:26Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, Well, thanks for the honesty, Thanks for calling.
- 19:29Speaker 2: It's one thing to remember all these people I'm want
- 19:30Speaker 2: to move to Florida, I'm getting it. I don't want
- 19:32Speaker 2: to move to Florida. Well, and a lot of teams
- 19:35Speaker 2: to give you that same reason, I don't. I can't
- 19:37Speaker 2: take the snow, I can't take the winters. Well, we
- 19:39Speaker 2: had some really bad snow this year, but be honest,
- 19:42Speaker 2: how much it was a week of snow, then it
- 19:45Speaker 2: was another week total, it was three weeks of snow altogether.
- 19:48Speaker 2: That was about it. Rest of the winter, it was
- 19:50Speaker 2: just cold, which is not so bad. You know, you're
- 19:52Speaker 2: going to trade that. I mean, the snow is not
- 19:55Speaker 2: that bad and kind of pretty. You look at all, right,
- 19:57Speaker 2: you don't want to go out so much in it,
- 19:59Speaker 2: but think about one hundred degrees every day. You just
- 20:04Speaker 2: can't go out. It's unbearable for four or five months
- 20:08Speaker 2: in Florida, not only in one hundred degrees. Then you
- 20:10Speaker 2: go through two three months of hurricanes having to evacuate.
- 20:14Speaker 2: You really want to do that? I don't know. So yeah,
- 20:19Speaker 2: let me just check the stock market. The left is
- 20:22Speaker 2: going to be very very upset today because the market
- 20:26Speaker 2: could hit fifty thousand, which is not good for them.
- 20:30Speaker 2: They do not want to see that. Right now, oh,
- 20:34Speaker 2: forty nine nine hundred market up two hundred and forty
- 20:38Speaker 2: nine points. Right now, it could hit fifty thousand, which
- 20:41Speaker 2: is something I mean, it did it briefly once before,
- 20:44Speaker 2: but it's something that nobody ever thought possible. Stock market
- 20:48Speaker 2: hidden fifty thousand could happen later today, oil prices dropping
- 20:55Speaker 2: dropped five dollars today, already down under one hundred. You
- 20:59Speaker 2: won't hear about Remember when it spiked one hundred and
- 21:02Speaker 2: twenty six dollars. It's spiked, it was all over the news.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Just dropped again. Now it's down since that moment, it's
- 21:09Speaker 2: down like twenty seven twenty seven dollars a gallon. No mention,
- 21:13Speaker 2: they don't mention it. But here's trump on gas.
- 21:17Speaker 5: The gas will go down as soon as the war's over.
- 21:20Speaker 2: It'll drop like our rock.
- 21:21Speaker 3: There's so much of it.
- 21:22Speaker 5: It's all over the place, sitting all over the oceans
- 21:25Speaker 5: of the world.
- 21:26Speaker 2: Yeah. Now we have more oil than anybody, anybody Saudi
- 21:30Speaker 2: Arabia they produce about seven million barrels a day. We
- 21:34Speaker 2: produce fourteen million barrels a day. We have more oil
- 21:37Speaker 2: than anybody. We're the biggest producer of oil in the world.
- 21:40Speaker 2: We're now the biggest exporter of oil in the world.
- 21:43Speaker 2: We got more oil than we could ever use. And
- 21:46Speaker 2: once the Iran thing is wrapped up, don't be surprised
- 21:48Speaker 2: if it heads down to sixty dollars a barrel. Some
- 21:52Speaker 2: in the industry think it could even go to the fifties.
- 21:54Speaker 2: So it's gonna be it's gonna be great for everybody. Hey,
- 21:57Speaker 2: we'll get caught up on all the latest news. And
- 22:00Speaker 2: then the best legal analyst of all, Greg Jarrett. He
- 22:03Speaker 2: was the first guy to start revealing everything years ago
- 22:08Speaker 2: about James Comy. We'll get to him and we'll get
- 22:10Speaker 2: to a whole lot more coming up on seven to
- 22:12Speaker 2: ten wor.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Seven ten wrs. Mark Simon.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Well, the best legal analyst on earth, Greg Jarrett. Of course,
- 22:22Speaker 2: you'll see him on Fox News. And make sure you
- 22:24Speaker 2: get his books. They're excellent books, all the way back
- 22:27Speaker 2: to witch Hunt in the Russia, Hoax, The Trial of
- 22:30Speaker 2: the Century is an incredible legal book, the book the
- 22:34Speaker 2: Constitution and other patriotic documents. It's going to Amazon. You
- 22:37Speaker 2: can get any of Greg Jarrett's books there. Greg Jarrett,
- 22:40Speaker 2: how you doing, Hey? Mark? Good? Fine?
- 22:43Speaker 10: Thanks?
- 22:44Speaker 2: Hey, you were telling us about Comy years ago, twelve
- 22:50Speaker 2: years ago, ten years ago, whatever it was. I mean,
- 22:52Speaker 2: you were onto this guy from the beginning. What do
- 22:56Speaker 2: you think really happened? Did he just happen to come
- 22:58Speaker 2: upon some seashells? Do we believe that?
- 23:01Speaker 10: No, it's utterly absurd and I think prosecutors have a
- 23:07Speaker 10: lot more evidence than the public knows, maybe more evidence
- 23:13Speaker 10: than Comy knows, in the form of incriminating witnesses and documents.
- 23:19Speaker 10: You know that according to the Acting Attorney General, Todd Blanche,
- 23:23Speaker 10: who said, we have witnesses and documents to put case
- 23:28Speaker 10: that should send a chill down the spine of Comy
- 23:31Speaker 10: and his lawyers. And you know, the evidence that they
- 23:36Speaker 10: have may blow a hole in Comy's preposterous claim that
- 23:42Speaker 10: he simply happened upon some beautiful shells on the beach
- 23:47Speaker 10: and didn't understand. I mean, look, this guy was the
- 23:52Speaker 10: head of the FBI. The bureau is highly trained in
- 23:57Speaker 10: coded messages and subliminal calls for violence, So to suggest
- 24:03Speaker 10: that he didn't understand something that everybody else understands is absurd.
- 24:10Speaker 10: But you know, it is a pattern with Komi. He
- 24:14Speaker 10: feigns ignorance and plays the dummy, the weasel out of
- 24:20Speaker 10: his wrongdoing. He's a master of deceit. He's lied about
- 24:25Speaker 10: leaks to the media, lied about disclosing, you know, classified documents,
- 24:32Speaker 10: lied to the pies of court. He secretly weaponized the
- 24:36Speaker 10: FBI the Russia hoax while denying it with a stray face.
- 24:42Speaker 10: And when he isn't doing all of that, he claims
- 24:45Speaker 10: acute amnesia. You know, testimony before Congress, he said, see,
- 24:50Speaker 10: I don't recall, you know, some two hundred and thirty
- 24:55Speaker 10: six times to hear comey tell it. His brain is
- 25:00Speaker 10: is mush. I don't buy it. It's all an act.
- 25:05Speaker 2: Now, he's a very in real life kind of a weirdo,
- 25:08Speaker 2: a awkward, uncomfortable sort of guy to buy. Yeah, So
- 25:12Speaker 2: why in recent years did these decide he's going to
- 25:15Speaker 2: go on Instagram and be a fun influencer and be
- 25:17Speaker 2: the next Kardashian. Why would a guy like that even
- 25:20Speaker 2: think he could do that.
- 25:22Speaker 10: Well, he's clever and cunning. There's always a reason for it.
- 25:27Speaker 10: And you know, there may be something far more nefarious
- 25:32Speaker 10: behind the stunt he pulled with the seashells. Because read
- 25:36Speaker 10: the indictment. It demands a forfeiture of assets. Now that
- 25:41Speaker 10: jumped out at me when I read, you know, the
- 25:44Speaker 10: very short indictment. What does that mean forfeiture of assets? Well,
- 25:49Speaker 10: the law says you cannot offit from your own illegal acts.
- 25:55Speaker 10: So you know, I think this refers to his book
- 25:59Speaker 10: Royal To Because it's no coincidence that Komy posted The
- 26:06Speaker 10: Seashells online, his alleged threat against Trump, just five days
- 26:13Speaker 10: before his book came out on May twenty, twenty twenty five.
- 26:22Speaker 10: And you know, the controversy over the post thrust him
- 26:27Speaker 10: suddenly back into the spotlight where he had vanished. And
- 26:31Speaker 10: guess what it did. It boosted his book sales and
- 26:36Speaker 10: thus the forfeiture clause in the indictment. By the way,
- 26:41Speaker 10: that book involves, curiously enough, using the Internet to dispense
- 26:48Speaker 10: hateful rhetoric and insight violent Well sounds like comy followed
- 26:54Speaker 10: the plot of his own books, do, isn't it?
- 26:58Speaker 2: Well, he's uh, but he's pretty wealthy guy anyway, Right,
- 27:01Speaker 2: he didn't work in a hedge fund world for a while,
- 27:03Speaker 2: and yeah he did.
- 27:05Speaker 10: He's got accumulated wealth and he owns a beach house.
- 27:10Speaker 10: I think it's out on Emerald Isle in North Carolina,
- 27:13Speaker 10: which I think is where you know the photograph was taken.
- 27:17Speaker 10: So you know, he's not a popper by any means.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Yeah, he's using us as his attorney, Patrick pat fitzp
- 27:23Speaker 2: is it Fitzpatrick Fitzgerald who was of christ Child. Yeah,
- 27:27Speaker 2: former prosecutor, wasn't he the guy that really went after
- 27:29Speaker 2: Scooter Libby and a few other Republicans.
- 27:33Speaker 10: Oh yeah, and you know they've been longtime friends. And
- 27:40Speaker 10: you know there's some evidence that his lawyer was also
- 27:43Speaker 10: involved in the leaking of information. But look, the legal
- 27:49Speaker 10: commentators who have denounced the indictment is frivolous or absurd.
- 27:55Speaker 10: I think they're overlooking several things. This case is in
- 27:59Speaker 10: a con conservative district, the Eastern District of North Carolina,
- 28:04Speaker 10: and the eventual trial jury, if it gets to a trial,
- 28:08Speaker 10: may actually agree with a grand jury that Komi willfully
- 28:13Speaker 10: intended to threaten the life of the president. And the
- 28:16Speaker 10: second count against Komi actually gives jurors a choice of
- 28:20Speaker 10: a lower standard reckless disregard. So that's easier for prosecutors
- 28:25Speaker 10: to prove and look in court the other day, Coomy's
- 28:30Speaker 10: lawyers were claiming selective, vindictive prosecution. Well guess what, a
- 28:37Speaker 10: lot of other people in that very district have been
- 28:40Speaker 10: prosecuted successfully for similar threats. Now, the real question will
- 28:47Speaker 10: be in a free speech that's his main defense. But
- 28:51Speaker 10: I would remind people of the Supreme Court long ago rule.
- 28:55Speaker 2: But the First.
- 28:55Speaker 10: Amendment is not a shield for threats against the president.
- 29:00Speaker 2: Wow, this will be an interesting case. This is good news. Hey,
- 29:04Speaker 2: let me ask you about the White House correspondence dinner.
- 29:07Speaker 2: The shooter is agreed to stay in prison and not
- 29:10Speaker 2: even fighting for bail anymore. What's going to happen to
- 29:12Speaker 2: this guy? Obviously he'll be convicted from the video the evidence.
- 29:15Speaker 10: Right, Yeah, I mean I think it's a slam dunk.
- 29:19Speaker 10: He incriminating himself. You know, he wrote a manifesto and
- 29:23Speaker 10: senator family members laying out what he was about to do.
- 29:26Speaker 10: Kill people, multiple people, and you know, he also took
- 29:33Speaker 10: a photograph of himself heavily armed with knives and guns.
- 29:36Speaker 10: And then of course he's caught on tape and he
- 29:41Speaker 10: had a law enforcement official secret service and hit him.
- 29:48Speaker 10: So you know, he's looking at probably spending the rest
- 29:53Speaker 10: of his life behind bars. The top count, of course,
- 29:56Speaker 10: is attempt to kill the President of the United States.
- 30:00Speaker 10: That carries a life behind bars.
- 30:03Speaker 2: You know they always say that about an assassiny. Oh
- 30:05Speaker 2: but never get out. Well, John Hinckley's walking around, Squeaky
- 30:08Speaker 2: from is walking around, Sarah Jane Moore who shot at
- 30:12Speaker 2: Gerald Ford. There's three assassins walking around as we speak.
- 30:15Speaker 10: You'res some now, Yeah, I mean the Hinckley thing is
- 30:18Speaker 10: different because it was a you know, mental defense insanity,
- 30:27Speaker 10: and you know he was put away in a mental institution,
- 30:30Speaker 10: so that that's a different standard. But you know, over time,
- 30:36Speaker 10: it depends on the venue. And if you're out in California,
- 30:39Speaker 10: we're skeeky, squeaky from uh yeah, try to kill the president.
- 30:46Speaker 10: You know, the liberal court system tends to release people
- 30:50Speaker 10: after a few decades.
- 30:51Speaker 2: Yeah. Now, if this assassin gets the right lawyer, won't
- 30:54Speaker 2: they try a mental defense? I mean, obviously what he
- 30:57Speaker 2: was trying to do was nuts. They could just pleading
- 31:00Speaker 2: is just insane.
- 31:01Speaker 10: Yeah, I doubt it very much. Look, he was a
- 31:05Speaker 10: well educated guy with a master's degree. The manifesto indicates.
- 31:10Speaker 2: You know, no.
- 31:13Speaker 10: Mental delusional disorders. It was pretty straightforward. And you know,
- 31:20Speaker 10: I tend to doubt that. You know, they'll try a
- 31:24Speaker 10: mental capacity defense. You know, it's they really you know,
- 31:28Speaker 10: it's going to be a difficult case to try to defend.
- 31:30Speaker 10: And in the end he may copy plate.
- 31:33Speaker 2: Yeah, and what was the plate? Life in prison? That
- 31:36Speaker 2: kind of a plate.
- 31:39Speaker 10: Yeah, I mean it depends on you know, what is
- 31:43Speaker 10: put on the table. Could be a stated number of
- 31:47Speaker 10: years decades. I would imagine the Feds take this stuff
- 31:51Speaker 10: pretty seriously, and I'm not sure they're going to offer
- 31:55Speaker 10: him a lot.
- 31:56Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Well, I hope you'll write another book, Greg Jarrett after
- 32:00Speaker 2: the comedy A chance after that. You got to do
- 32:03Speaker 2: it after the Komi trial is finished and hopefully gets convicted.
- 32:08Speaker 10: No, well, I think there are going to be other
- 32:10Speaker 10: indictments against Comy. Keep an eye on what's happening in
- 32:13Speaker 10: Fort Pierce, Florida where a grand jury is convened, and
- 32:17Speaker 10: I think in the bullseye there is John Brennan and
- 32:21Speaker 10: James Comy and a whole bunch of other people.
- 32:23Speaker 2: So we'll see. And that would be over the laptop
- 32:26Speaker 2: letter or something like that.
- 32:29Speaker 10: Well, no, it would be over a long running conspiracy
- 32:36Speaker 10: to defraud the government and violate the constitutional rights of
- 32:41Speaker 10: Donald Trump with their law fier crusade that lasted the
- 32:46Speaker 10: better part of the decade.
- 32:47Speaker 2: Yeah. All right, Well, you were the first guy to
- 32:50Speaker 2: sound the all. You were the Paul Revere of this
- 32:52Speaker 2: story on Komy and Company. In fact, if you want
- 32:54Speaker 2: to go back and get his books witch Hunt and
- 32:56Speaker 2: the Russia Hoax and his latest book, The Constitution, other
- 33:00Speaker 2: patriotic documents. It's all of his books are at Amazon,
- 33:03Speaker 2: and of course watch them on television. Greg Jarrett, thanks
- 33:06Speaker 2: for being with.
- 33:07Speaker 10: Us, Marco. He's good talking.
- 33:09Speaker 2: Thanks for having me. Take care. That's very encouraging news. Yeah,
- 33:15Speaker 2: just as we've been telling you, just stay tuned. There's
- 33:18Speaker 2: more coming, more charges coming against against Comy. Hey, don't forget.
- 33:22Speaker 2: At noon it's Buck and Clay excellent show every day
- 33:26Speaker 2: at twelve noon. Then you got the most listened to
- 33:28Speaker 2: radio show and all of America. Sean Hannity, it's at
- 33:31Speaker 2: three o'clock every day, and Jesse Kelly's here every night
- 33:34Speaker 2: at six. And I keep saying new show. It's not
- 33:37Speaker 2: so new anymore. But it's great. It's doing so well,
- 33:40Speaker 2: and it's really funny and interesting. You got to listen
- 33:42Speaker 2: tonight to Jimmy Fayla every weeknight nine to midnight on
- 33:46Speaker 2: seven ten WR.
- 33:49Speaker 1: Mark Simone on sevent tenor.
- 33:53Speaker 2: Hey, you realize it's May. It's the first day of May.
- 33:56Speaker 2: It's already May. See remember all that snow you couldn't
- 33:59Speaker 2: wait for us here it is now. You got the
- 34:03Speaker 2: Sinko Demayo. Next week weekend, you got Mother's day coming up,
- 34:08Speaker 2: it's it's it's like a month left, and then it's
- 34:13Speaker 2: it's summer. I'm choking to death here. That's going to
- 34:16Speaker 2: be a beautiful day to day. Looks like some rain tomorrow.
- 34:20Speaker 2: Although they say coastal rain, it means it'll be along
- 34:23Speaker 2: the coast. Hopefully it doesn't come inland, stays in the water.
- 34:26Speaker 2: And then okay on Sunday, and it's still a little
- 34:28Speaker 2: colder than it should be for this time of year.
- 34:30Speaker 2: But coming up in the next hour, we got a
- 34:33Speaker 2: lot to get to.
- 34:35Speaker 1: He's more marks, So Mark Simone Show on sevent ten.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Wo r.
- 34:44Speaker 2: Hey, it's Friday, it's the first day of May. We
- 34:46Speaker 2: got a lot to get to. This hour we'll get
- 34:49Speaker 2: really I'll tell you some stories about James Comby coming
- 34:51Speaker 2: up a little later this hour. And now you know,
- 34:55Speaker 2: the Supreme Court ruled against some redistricting. In a certain
- 35:00Speaker 2: in the States, they'd draw the lines, the congressional district
- 35:02Speaker 2: lines to make sure a Democrat will win the seat.
- 35:05Speaker 2: One of the ways they did that in some districts
- 35:07Speaker 2: was to draw the line so there were no white
- 35:10Speaker 2: people in the district. Now that's discrimination, racial discrimination. Supreme
- 35:15Speaker 2: Court ruled on this, and they ruled that you can't
- 35:20Speaker 2: do that. You can never. First of all, congressional district
- 35:24Speaker 2: should look like a square or maybe a circle, but
- 35:27Speaker 2: should just be a geographical area. It shouldn't look like
- 35:31Speaker 2: a snake winding around twenty seven different ways. Obviously just
- 35:37Speaker 2: scheming to get no Republicans in the district, make sure
- 35:40Speaker 2: a Democrat wins. So Supreme Court ruled you cannot do
- 35:42Speaker 2: it based on race. Of course, the first guy to
- 35:45Speaker 2: go nuts because it screws up this partisan jerrymandering. The
- 35:50Speaker 2: Democrats think that's the only way they can win in November.
- 35:53Speaker 2: But jeffreysquim Jeffreys going nuts.
- 35:56Speaker 14: In the new Congress, We're going to have to do
- 35:58Speaker 14: something about this Supreme Court. And let me be very clear,
- 36:01Speaker 14: everything is on the table, everything to deal with this
- 36:05Speaker 14: corrupt Maga majority that is issuing political opinions that are
- 36:12Speaker 14: designed to bolster.
- 36:13Speaker 2: The prospects of the Republican Party, and we.
- 36:16Speaker 7: Will not allow them to succeed.
- 36:19Speaker 2: Yeah, corrupt, the corrupt Supreme Court, the Maga Supreme Court.
- 36:24Speaker 2: They sure disagree with President Trump on a lot of things,
- 36:26Speaker 2: but what he's talking about, and this is the problem.
- 36:29Speaker 2: If Democrats were to win, they're going to do all
- 36:32Speaker 2: kinds of stuff. They're going to expand the court. You
- 36:35Speaker 2: know it's the expand it to twelve justices, maybe twenty five.
- 36:39Speaker 2: They'll make it twenty five justices. That way, they next
- 36:42Speaker 2: Democratic president can put a lot of Democrats on the court,
- 36:46Speaker 2: a lot of real left wing kook judges. And you
- 36:48Speaker 2: know what happens when you get that. They're planning that
- 36:51Speaker 2: they're planning. They got all kinds of plots. They want
- 36:54Speaker 2: to make Washington, d c. A state because it's all democratic.
- 36:58Speaker 2: That way, you get two more Democrats that's elected. They
- 37:01Speaker 2: want to make Puerto Rico estate to get more Democrats
- 37:04Speaker 2: that way. So all the more reason you got to
- 37:06Speaker 2: make sure they do not win in November in the midterms. Now,
- 37:11Speaker 2: other states can do the same thing, but sometimes it's
- 37:15Speaker 2: more legitimate. In Florida, legislature just approved a new congressional
- 37:19Speaker 2: map which could add four Republican seats. This vote came
- 37:24Speaker 2: right after the Supreme Court decision, so four extra Republican
- 37:30Speaker 2: seats could change the whole midterms. Now, if you look
- 37:33Speaker 2: at the way they did it, the justification is it's
- 37:36Speaker 2: pretty legitimately drawn. It's not like democratic redistricting where they
- 37:41Speaker 2: draw this weird snake line all around. This is a
- 37:44Speaker 2: looks pretty straightforward this district. So you know, New York
- 37:50Speaker 2: City is a sanctuary city, but crazy Kathy Hochel wants
- 37:56Speaker 2: the whole state to be a sanctuary state. She's propos
- 38:00Speaker 2: and trying to pass with Albany all kinds of sanctuary
- 38:04Speaker 2: policies to ban ICE from everything, sweeping bans on any
- 38:10Speaker 2: cooperation between law enforcement and ICE. That crazy Assembly Speaker
- 38:16Speaker 2: Carl Hasty is on board with most of this, so
- 38:19Speaker 2: she could very likely get this done. She has a
- 38:22Speaker 2: plan to ramp up all the anti ICE stuff like crazy.
- 38:27Speaker 2: Now you know Bruce Blakeman, who's the greatest county executive,
- 38:30Speaker 2: which is like being a governor, greatest governor in America.
- 38:33Speaker 2: In Nassau County, they've solved their illegal problem because they
- 38:37Speaker 2: cooperate with ICE. The local police help ICE. In fact,
- 38:40Speaker 2: they let ICE use officers, use jail cells, whatever they need.
- 38:44Speaker 2: So in this crazy new local legislation, she would ban
- 38:48Speaker 2: any local government from cooperating in any way. They can't
- 38:53Speaker 2: deputize ICE officers, they can't keep detainees in local jails,
- 38:57Speaker 2: they can't in any way have anything to do with Ice. Now,
- 39:01Speaker 2: of course this is absolutely insane. In fact, she's working
- 39:06Speaker 2: on part of this legislation will be a new legal
- 39:08Speaker 2: tool that will give New Yorkers the ability to soothe
- 39:11Speaker 2: these ICE agents in state court for a violation of
- 39:14Speaker 2: their constitutional rights. Now, the problem with all this, when
- 39:17Speaker 2: you have all these illegals, it costs US billions, hundreds
- 39:22Speaker 2: of billions that we spend on illegals. Now, at the
- 39:24Speaker 2: same time, Hoko will tell you where we're broke. We're
- 39:27Speaker 2: out of money, we got a deficit, we need to
- 39:29Speaker 2: we don't have enough revenue, We're short of money. If
- 39:31Speaker 2: that's the case, why you're spending two hundred billion on illegals.
- 39:35Speaker 2: It's absolutely ridiculous. Even that, remember the Hotel Roosevelt where
- 39:39Speaker 2: they stuck everybody. They put a lot of illegals in
- 39:42Speaker 2: the Hotel Roosevelt for a year. You know what the
- 39:43Speaker 2: bill was for that, one hundred and forty six million.
- 39:46Speaker 2: One hundred and forty six million. They're just wasting this
- 39:48Speaker 2: money like crazy everywhere. If there's a budget deficit, it's
- 39:52Speaker 2: caused by illegals. I mean, it's also caused by overspending
- 39:56Speaker 2: and bloat and fraud and waste, but it's also caused
- 39:58Speaker 2: by these illegals. You could save yourself billions and bill
- 40:02Speaker 2: tens of billions of dollars just let Ice do their job.
- 40:05Speaker 2: Problem solved. So the other thing that with Hochel is
- 40:09Speaker 2: she's getting pushed now like crazy to pardon the cop
- 40:13Speaker 2: Eric Duran. This was the cooler cop that the guy
- 40:17Speaker 2: was fleeing on a motorcycle about to run down some
- 40:19Speaker 2: other cops on his motorcycle. How do you stop the
- 40:22Speaker 2: guy with a cop just thinking quick picked up a
- 40:24Speaker 2: cooler threw it at him, which normally would just knock
- 40:27Speaker 2: him off his bike, but it was just a fluke,
- 40:29Speaker 2: crazy u. He fell off and it went into a
- 40:32Speaker 2: tree and somehow he died in this accident. It's the
- 40:35Speaker 2: last thing. The officer intendant but his name is Eric Duran,
- 40:38Speaker 2: gets in the Bronx in front of a crazy left
- 40:41Speaker 2: wing judge. You got a left wing district attorney. They
- 40:44Speaker 2: convict the guy. They sentenced him to nine years. Now
- 40:47Speaker 2: the appeal is underway. The great criminal attorney Arthur Idalla
- 40:52Speaker 2: handling the appeal. But you never know how that's going
- 40:54Speaker 2: to go. So a lot of people are pushing for
- 40:57Speaker 2: a pardon. The governor can do it. It's a local check,
- 41:00Speaker 2: so the president can't do it. But Hokele could pardon
- 41:03Speaker 2: this guy. And about thirty five state lawmakers just signed
- 41:08Speaker 2: a petition for this pardon. They want it done. There's
- 41:12Speaker 2: gonna be a lot of pressure on her now. The
- 41:16Speaker 2: Hochal's office has said he actually needs to apply for
- 41:19Speaker 2: a pardon if he wants his case considered. He hasn't
- 41:22Speaker 2: done that yet. Now what it'll probably come down to.
- 41:25Speaker 2: Bruce Blakeman, who would be the best governor, is rising
- 41:29Speaker 2: in the polls. He started at twenty points behind and
- 41:32Speaker 2: then it was fifteen points behind. He's now like eight
- 41:35Speaker 2: points behind. As he gets close, Hokeel will try to
- 41:39Speaker 2: remove some of his campaign issues. One of his issues
- 41:43Speaker 2: is he has promised to pardon this cop on day one,
- 41:47Speaker 2: minute one, He's promised to pardon this cop. So if
- 41:50Speaker 2: Blakeman keeps rising like he is in the polls, Hokeel
- 41:54Speaker 2: will probably pardon the guy just to take that issue
- 41:56Speaker 2: away from Bruce Blakeman. But who knows, who knows what's
- 42:00Speaker 2: the crazy Kathy Hochele. So keep the pressure up though
- 42:06Speaker 2: on her pardoning this guy. You know, on the Upper
- 42:10Speaker 2: West Side, there's a Trader Joe's. There's two floors. It
- 42:15Speaker 2: is the busiest Trader Joe's in the world. And you know,
- 42:21Speaker 2: a lot of people love Whole Foods, Wegmans and all
- 42:24Speaker 2: the great supermarkets, but a lot of people are Traders
- 42:29Speaker 2: Joe's fanatics. It's like a cult. They just love Trader Joe's.
- 42:34Speaker 2: They got their Trader Joe's bag. Now, the stuff is
- 42:38Speaker 2: very cheap in Trader Joe's. The prices are great. Nobody
- 42:42Speaker 2: has better prices than Trader Joe's. Now, how do you
- 42:45Speaker 2: think they achieve those low prices. Well, you've got to
- 42:48Speaker 2: use cheaper ingredients to do that. And many of their
- 42:51Speaker 2: suppliers have told me. Every year they come around and
- 42:53Speaker 2: tell you got to cut your cost in half, and
- 42:57Speaker 2: they argue, I can't. I've already cut the quality my ingredients.
- 43:00Speaker 2: I can't do it again. And they tell them you're
- 43:02Speaker 2: either going to cut the cost in half or you're out.
- 43:04Speaker 2: So all they can do is cut down on the
- 43:06Speaker 2: quality the ingredients. So the stuff might look good, taste good,
- 43:09Speaker 2: and be cheap, but you're talking about not the highest
- 43:12Speaker 2: quality ingredients in there. But it's very cheap and people
- 43:15Speaker 2: go crazy over Trader Joe's. The busiest one in the
- 43:19Speaker 2: world is the Upper west Side. It's at seventy second
- 43:23Speaker 2: and yeah, seventy second on Broadway. Its two floors. Well,
- 43:28Speaker 2: they announced they have to close it down for a
- 43:29Speaker 2: few months. They need to rebuild the whole store. They
- 43:33Speaker 2: need to close and repair the whole place. And these
- 43:37Speaker 2: people are going insane. They don't the notice went up
- 43:40Speaker 2: on the door. Major renovations will take place. It will
- 43:43Speaker 2: close on May seventeenth, and they hope to get it
- 43:47Speaker 2: reopened in a couple of months. But they're going nuts,
- 43:50Speaker 2: these people on the Upper west Side without their Trader
- 43:52Speaker 2: Joe's for a couple of months. Now, there's another Trader
- 43:55Speaker 2: Joe's at ninety third Street that's twenty blocks away. I mean,
- 44:01Speaker 2: it's a lot of groceries to carry, but it's still
- 44:03Speaker 2: you could just go twenty blocks up. It's not that
- 44:05Speaker 2: far as another Trader Joe's twenty blocks away, you know.
- 44:08Speaker 2: For people live in the suburbs. Many of them are saying,
- 44:10Speaker 2: right now, I'd love to have a supermarket only twenty
- 44:12Speaker 2: blocks from my house. But on the Upper west Side,
- 44:15Speaker 2: they're going now, people that have been in there said,
- 44:17Speaker 2: it really does need to be redone. The escalators are
- 44:20Speaker 2: always broken, they're not working. There's structural problems. They got
- 44:23Speaker 2: to be fixed. So that's why you got to close
- 44:25Speaker 2: the whole thing and start over. Hey, President Trump, what's
- 44:30Speaker 2: happening with Iran. Well, he's sending him a signal. They're stalling.
- 44:36Speaker 2: They're just stalling and stalling. I want to continue the
- 44:39Speaker 2: negotiations or get to some resolution, and Iran just figures
- 44:42Speaker 2: they'll stall forever. They see all the Democrats, all the
- 44:46Speaker 2: weasel Chuck Schumer, Blumenthal, all these Democrats against the war.
- 44:51Speaker 2: They're like hanoid Jane, They're like Tokyo Rose. It's leading
- 44:55Speaker 2: the effort to attack the war. So they're hoping that
- 44:59Speaker 2: those guys a veil and the sentiment forces Trump to stop.
- 45:03Speaker 2: I wouldn't count on that at all. That's not going
- 45:05Speaker 2: to happen, but that's their strategy. Trump says, if they
- 45:09Speaker 2: don't start making a deal, it'll resume the combat, and
- 45:13Speaker 2: to send a signal. Yesterday he had the centcom commander,
- 45:17Speaker 2: that's Admiral Cooper who's running this, come to the White House.
- 45:21Speaker 2: He was summoned to the White House for a meeting.
- 45:25Speaker 2: Now that of course gets in the news. Iran is
- 45:27Speaker 2: watching that. That's supposed to be a signal to let
- 45:30Speaker 2: him know you're about to go through an incredible overwhelming
- 45:35Speaker 2: round of bombing if you don't come to the table. Now.
- 45:38Speaker 2: In the last bombing a couple of weeks, leaders were killed,
- 45:43Speaker 2: everything military was destroyed, power plants, everything on one bridge
- 45:47Speaker 2: was taking So there could be more of that. So
- 45:51Speaker 2: the commander coming there is and they kind of leaked
- 45:54Speaker 2: out and know he was there to go over targets.
- 45:56Speaker 2: He was briefing the president on what to hit next.
- 46:01Speaker 2: So now the other thing is, we have the straight
- 46:03Speaker 2: of Horn Moose closed. As long as that's closed, Iran's
- 46:06Speaker 2: economy is shut down. They have no economy, zero income.
- 46:10Speaker 2: Could you imagine if somebody did that the United States?
- 46:15Speaker 2: Imagine if somebody attacked the United States on the first
- 46:18Speaker 2: day they killed the forty one top leaders in Washington,
- 46:21Speaker 2: took out basically the whole leadership in Washington, then completely
- 46:25Speaker 2: destroyed all of our military, and then totally frozen shut
- 46:29Speaker 2: down our economy. Would you say, well, that's okay, we're winning,
- 46:34Speaker 2: We're winning.
- 46:34Speaker 11: No.
- 46:35Speaker 2: But that's what Democrats are arguing that Iran is somehow
- 46:37Speaker 2: winning this. So with the Straight of hor Moose closed,
- 46:41Speaker 2: they can't move any oil out, which means they got
- 46:44Speaker 2: no place to put the oil they're pumping. They've been
- 46:46Speaker 2: getting lots of these old tankers and try to store
- 46:49Speaker 2: it on there, but they're running out of the tankers.
- 46:51Speaker 2: If this continues in another couple of weeks, they will
- 46:53Speaker 2: have no place to put any oil. It means they
- 46:56Speaker 2: will have to shut down the oil fields, shut down
- 46:59Speaker 2: the drilling. Now, the problem is if you do that,
- 47:02Speaker 2: it takes a long time to reopen. The wells dry up,
- 47:05Speaker 2: everything goes crazy. So it would cost them. It would
- 47:10Speaker 2: devastate them for the next two years, and it takes
- 47:12Speaker 2: a long time to get those oil wells pumping again.
- 47:15Speaker 2: So we have all the cards, they have none at
- 47:19Speaker 2: the moment. So now do you like when you go
- 47:23Speaker 2: into the supermarkets, being the supermarkets, the self checkout, or
- 47:26Speaker 2: when you go in to home Depot or any place Walmart, Costco,
- 47:29Speaker 2: that's self checkout. If you got like toothed cans, it's
- 47:33Speaker 2: pretty easy scan it, throwat in the bag. But if
- 47:36Speaker 2: you've got things that need to be weighed and you
- 47:37Speaker 2: got to enter in what it is, it's a pain
- 47:39Speaker 2: in the neck. Well, the stores don't like it either.
- 47:42Speaker 2: One by one they're trying to eliminate self checkout. And
- 47:45Speaker 2: the other problem with the self checkout. That way you
- 47:48Speaker 2: don't have to have cashiers. But with the self checkout,
- 47:52Speaker 2: half the time there's three people that can't do it,
- 47:54Speaker 2: and then they have to have a cash you're basically
- 47:56Speaker 2: standing there to do it for you. So it doesn't
- 47:58Speaker 2: really solve the problem. But now Walmart, Target Costco, they're
- 48:02Speaker 2: all looking at getting rid of these self checkouts. The
- 48:04Speaker 2: problem is the theft rate on them is unbelievable. Self
- 48:10Speaker 2: checkout lines extremely vulnerable to threat. In fact, sixty nine
- 48:16Speaker 2: percent of people, it's two thirds, say they believe it's
- 48:20Speaker 2: easier to steal with the self checkout. They've admitted to theft,
- 48:24Speaker 2: whether intentionally. Some people say it's unintentional, but and they
- 48:28Speaker 2: say almost twenty seven percent. And this is like normal
- 48:32Speaker 2: customers have taken something and not scanned it. So the
- 48:35Speaker 2: threat is the theft is unbelievable. Thirty six percent say
- 48:40Speaker 2: they accidentally stole something. Sixty one percent of those who
- 48:45Speaker 2: accidentally took something said they kept it, so it is
- 48:48Speaker 2: costing a fortune in stolen items, so expect those things
- 48:52Speaker 2: to disappear within the next year or two. Hey, we'll
- 48:56Speaker 2: take some calls next. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 48:59Speaker 2: seven is the number. Eight hundred three two one zero
- 49:04Speaker 2: seven ten. Hey, check out my Instagram. There's always a
- 49:06Speaker 2: lot of stuff up there. Uh, dinner last night with
- 49:09Speaker 2: Glenn Beck, with Miranda Divine, whole bunch of media people
- 49:12Speaker 2: at the Great Beach Cafe. Wonderful place on the preset.
- 49:16Speaker 2: But that's upon my Instagram. Also some interesting stuff about
- 49:20Speaker 2: how many people listen to the radio. Just go to
- 49:22Speaker 2: Mark Simone NYC at Instagram, Mark Simone NYC at Instagram,
- 49:28Speaker 2: and we'll take some calls next.
- 49:30Speaker 1: If you're listening to Mark on the iHeartRadio app, save
- 49:33Speaker 1: time and tap the preset button.
- 49:35Speaker 2: Now.
- 49:36Speaker 1: Now back to the Mark Simone show on woor.
- 49:40Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Eight hundred three to two
- 49:43Speaker 2: one zero seven ten is the number. Let's go to
- 49:46Speaker 2: Joe Anne in Florida. Joeanne, how you doing?
- 49:49Speaker 15: Hi? Mark, I'm doing well.
- 49:51Speaker 13: How are you?
- 49:51Speaker 2: Let me check? Not bad? Not bad?
- 49:55Speaker 13: Oh?
- 49:55Speaker 15: You still got a post?
- 49:56Speaker 11: That's good?
- 49:57Speaker 2: Yeah? Sixty right now?
- 49:59Speaker 11: Good?
- 50:00Speaker 15: Yes, Since you are so knowledgeable, I wanted to ask
- 50:03Speaker 15: you a question. When Obama was in office in two
- 50:08Speaker 15: thousand and nine or whatever, and gas was over four
- 50:11Speaker 15: dollars a gall what would that be today an inflation
- 50:15Speaker 15: that everyone is screaming now about gasbee four dollars again.
- 50:19Speaker 2: Well, that's a good point. It'd probably be about five
- 50:21Speaker 2: dollars and twenty cents now, right. Yeah, And obviously Joe
- 50:26Speaker 2: Biden had gas prices way above what we have now
- 50:28Speaker 2: for four years and it was just fine. But that's
- 50:30Speaker 2: called democratic community. They don't pick on you if you're
- 50:33Speaker 2: a Democrat. It's fine.
- 50:36Speaker 15: I knew you would have a good.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Answer to meymore, what part of Florida are you in?
- 50:41Speaker 15: I'm in the villages.
- 50:42Speaker 2: Oh my god, what have you got? The shuffle board today, pickleball?
- 50:50Speaker 15: Anything we want to do, we've got And you know
- 50:52Speaker 15: the president is here today, so that's really well, that's.
- 50:54Speaker 2: Tin He's coming to the villages today. Yes, yeah, So
- 50:58Speaker 2: they're all excited there, they're all ways for him.
- 51:01Speaker 15: Oh my gosh.
- 51:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 51:02Speaker 15: I mean I'm not out there and the sun waiting
- 51:04Speaker 15: for the president. But people say they've been lined up
- 51:08Speaker 15: since five o'clock in the morning.
- 51:10Speaker 10: So gott wow.
- 51:11Speaker 2: Well, those old folks at the villages. Good they were
- 51:14Speaker 2: able to fit this into their busy schedule and take
- 51:17Speaker 2: time out for this. But thanks, thanks for calling. Let's
- 51:20Speaker 2: go to uh Rich in Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing?
- 51:24Speaker 13: And yeah, those old people go to bed at nine,
- 51:26Speaker 13: get up at four thirty eight. You know you're talking
- 51:32Speaker 13: about their self. Check out a Walmart. You know it's easy,
- 51:35Speaker 13: But then you got four guys at the door wanting
- 51:37Speaker 13: to look through your bag and check your receipt, and
- 51:39Speaker 13: you waste more time trying to get you know, whether
- 51:42Speaker 13: they're trying to prove your thief or not trying to
- 51:44Speaker 13: get out the door. Now, down here in Myrtle Beach,
- 51:47Speaker 13: we've been writing letters my wife and all her friends
- 51:49Speaker 13: to Traded Joe's for ten years down here, and they
- 51:52Speaker 13: finally opened up a Traded Joe's and Surfside Beach just
- 51:55Speaker 13: like five minutes from our house. So everybody down here
- 51:57Speaker 13: is a static. We finally get a Traded Joe's because
- 52:00Speaker 13: Long Island, where we're from, in Long Beach and Ocean Side,
- 52:02Speaker 13: they were everywhere you know down here, the nowhere to
- 52:04Speaker 13: be found except Wilmington, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina,
- 52:08Speaker 13: which is from where we are now and forty minutes
- 52:11Speaker 13: each away. So now we got one just five minutes
- 52:13Speaker 13: from the house.
- 52:13Speaker 2: Well, I'm not a big trader Joe's fan, but it's
- 52:15Speaker 2: cheap like this one on the upper west side. You
- 52:17Speaker 2: got the fairway right near there.
- 52:18Speaker 13: Chalk it was great, the dark chalk with peanut butter
- 52:22Speaker 13: cops and the chalcolateat that kind of stuff was fantastic.
- 52:25Speaker 2: It tastes great. You should look into the ingredients though,
- 52:27Speaker 2: the quality of the ingredients, you might. You might, they
- 52:30Speaker 2: might explain to you how they get them so cheap.
- 52:32Speaker 2: But anyway, thanks for calling. Let me just I'm looking
- 52:35Speaker 2: for the President's schedule for today. Here it is ten
- 52:40Speaker 2: am intelligence briefing. Oh after that, yes, after ten am.
- 52:46Speaker 2: After the briefing, the President departs the White House en
- 52:49Speaker 2: route to the Villages in Florida. Three PM event with
- 52:53Speaker 2: seniors at the village's charter school. Then after that four
- 52:58Speaker 2: thirty five he will depart the village is in Florida
- 53:02Speaker 2: en route to Palm Beach, Florida. Eight point fifteen. He
- 53:06Speaker 2: will be at mar A Lago. But it's for the
- 53:09Speaker 2: uh oh no, wait, take it back, I think it's
- 53:12Speaker 2: the Cravis Center. It's at the Cravis Center. He'll be
- 53:15Speaker 2: in Palm Beach, but six fifteen to the night hees
- 53:17Speaker 2: going to the Forum Club of the Palm Beach is
- 53:19Speaker 2: dinner at the Cravis Center. So I guess he'll be
- 53:22Speaker 2: in mar A Lago all weekend. Marlago closed his Mother's
- 53:26Speaker 2: Day for the whole season. It doesn't reopen until about Halloween.
- 53:30Speaker 2: That's how bad it is in Florida. You have to
- 53:31Speaker 2: actually close mar Alago on Mother's Day because nobody can
- 53:34Speaker 2: stand it there for the whole summer. Let's go to
- 53:37Speaker 2: Kevin and Nanuett.
- 53:38Speaker 11: Kevin, how you doing Mark, You're the funniest guy in
- 53:41Speaker 11: talk radio.
- 53:43Speaker 2: Well the bar wasn't set too high, but okay, thank you.
- 53:46Speaker 11: Yeah, I just want to ask you a question. Any
- 53:48Speaker 11: scenario boots on the ground in Iran.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Well, we've already done it twice in Iran.
- 53:54Speaker 11: But that Bush was running it.
- 53:55Speaker 3: We have a smarter president Niche.
- 53:57Speaker 2: She knows how well no Bush would set. You know,
- 54:00Speaker 2: the Bush starts a war by putting four hundred thousand
- 54:02Speaker 2: troops on the ground first. This is a much more
- 54:04Speaker 2: efficient war. That's why Bush was there forever in Iraq.
- 54:07Speaker 2: This is going to be quick, but we've already had
- 54:10Speaker 2: twice twice, We've already had boots on the ground in Iran.
- 54:13Speaker 2: We had them one day number that plane went down
- 54:16Speaker 2: and a pilot was lost, and we had boots on
- 54:19Speaker 2: the ground all over the place for about twenty five
- 54:23Speaker 2: hours to recover the guy and get him out of there.
- 54:25Speaker 2: And then you remember the navigator of the plane was lost.
- 54:29Speaker 2: They had to find him, and we really had boots
- 54:33Speaker 2: on the ground for two days. Not only do we
- 54:34Speaker 2: have boots on the ground, we built in Iran a
- 54:37Speaker 2: temporary air base. This is hard to imagine. We've had
- 54:41Speaker 2: boots on the ground. We built a temporary air base,
- 54:44Speaker 2: and we brought in planes and helicopters. We've just basically
- 54:48Speaker 2: built an airport in the middle of nowhere in Iran,
- 54:51Speaker 2: surrounded it with troops, surrounded it with planes and drones
- 54:55Speaker 2: and everything, created a two mile perimeter and shot anything
- 54:58Speaker 2: that came near that perimeter. But for about two days
- 55:01Speaker 2: we had boots on the ground there and then the
- 55:03Speaker 2: week before boots on the ground. So it would be nothing,
- 55:06Speaker 2: nothing different if we did it. Let's go to Vincent
- 55:09Speaker 2: and Brooklyn. Vincent, how you doing.
- 55:11Speaker 3: Good morning, Mark, Good morning Marra Mark. One of the
- 55:15Speaker 3: other reasons why a lot of Traded Joe's products are cheaper,
- 55:19Speaker 3: they're outsourced out of the country. Like most of the
- 55:23Speaker 3: fish products they sell, the frozen fish and preprepared fish,
- 55:28Speaker 3: that's all sourced from out of the country. Mark. Earlier
- 55:31Speaker 3: with Greg Jared, you alluded to the fact that a
- 55:35Speaker 3: life sentence in many states no longer means a life
- 55:39Speaker 3: sentence will long behold. The legislature of New York State legislature,
- 55:46Speaker 3: the whack jobs up there, they're proposing that even if
- 55:50Speaker 3: the judge gave you a life sentence, after twenty years,
- 55:54Speaker 3: you could actually even go to a different judge than
- 55:58Speaker 3: the one whom posed this sentence and you have them
- 56:03Speaker 3: let you out of jail and reduced. And they're also
- 56:06Speaker 3: proposing that after a certain age, like if you're an
- 56:10Speaker 3: old geezer and you're doing a life sentence, after a
- 56:14Speaker 3: certain age, they'll let you out. And that's all the
- 56:18Speaker 3: bluehead maniacs upstate pushing this agenda.
- 56:23Speaker 2: You got crazy left wing hocal and nobody was a
- 56:25Speaker 2: crazier left wing governor than Andrew Coleman. He bragged about
- 56:28Speaker 2: closing prisons, letting the prisoners out, and he replaced everybody
- 56:32Speaker 2: on the parole board with these left wing cooks that
- 56:34Speaker 2: let everybody out. They let out like twenty three cop
- 56:37Speaker 2: killers they let out, So yeah, you're right, it could happen. Well, Vincent,
- 56:40Speaker 2: we gotta go, we gotta do the news. Thank great call.
- 56:43Speaker 2: When we come back, Roger Stone will be with us.
- 56:46Speaker 2: Now we've been talking about Komi and the horrible things
- 56:49Speaker 2: he did to people. Will do you hear this story
- 56:51Speaker 2: of exactly what he did to Roger Stone, who was
- 56:53Speaker 2: guilty of really nothing they I mean, it was even
- 56:57Speaker 2: if he was guilty, it was the silliest little thing.
- 56:59Speaker 2: But it turned out he wasn't even guilty. Wait, do
- 57:01Speaker 2: you hear what Komy did to this guy to terrorize
- 57:03Speaker 2: him and his wife? You'll realize what a bad guy
- 57:06Speaker 2: this is. We'll get to that next on seven to ten.
- 57:08Speaker 2: Wo R Mark wr Well. Roger Stone, of course, you
- 57:17Speaker 2: know the name. He's a legend in American politics, and
- 57:21Speaker 2: we've got a lot to talk about him with him,
- 57:23Speaker 2: Roger Stone, and he should check out his website, Stonecold Truth,
- 57:27Speaker 2: stonecoldtruth dot com, get his podcast, get his books at
- 57:32Speaker 2: Amazon and pleasure to have him with us. Roger Stone,
- 57:35Speaker 2: how you doing, Mark?
- 57:37Speaker 5: Great to be back with you.
- 57:39Speaker 2: That's the best website, right, stone cold Truth, where a.
- 57:42Speaker 13: Well people could go to.
- 57:43Speaker 5: People could go to stone Zone dot com. Oh free,
- 57:47Speaker 5: and you get all my books there and kind of
- 57:49Speaker 5: my daily both videos and the stuff I write. And
- 57:54Speaker 5: you can also hear my radio show there. So it's
- 57:57Speaker 5: it's kind of all inclusive stone Zone.
- 58:00Speaker 2: Well, everybody go to Stonezone dot com. Hey, we've been
- 58:03Speaker 2: talking about James Comy all week and I don't know,
- 58:06Speaker 2: it seems silly seashells, but just for what he did
- 58:09Speaker 2: to you, this guy deserves to get the maximum. Everything
- 58:13Speaker 2: you were accused of, like almost nothing, totally nonviolent. You
- 58:17Speaker 2: turn yourself in for an in rest. This guy launched
- 58:20Speaker 2: a normandy invasion up your front lawn and tell everybody
- 58:23Speaker 2: this story.
- 58:25Speaker 5: Yeah, it's kind of ironic because James Comy and I
- 58:28Speaker 5: were charged with exactly the same crime. He was charged
- 58:31Speaker 5: with lying under oath to Congress. In his case, he
- 58:35Speaker 5: was guilty. He specifically said under oath that he had
- 58:38Speaker 5: never shared sealed material with anyone and instructed them to
- 58:41Speaker 5: leak it. Of course, federal prosecutors had email in which
- 58:45Speaker 5: he had sent said material to Dan Richmond, a lost
- 58:49Speaker 5: school associate of his, and instructed him very specifically to
- 58:53Speaker 5: leak it to the New York Times. In my case,
- 58:55Speaker 5: to violate the False Statement Act, one must have a motive.
- 59:00Speaker 5: It has to be willful, the judge said my sentencing.
- 59:03Speaker 5: In my Soviet style show trial, you have been convicted
- 59:06Speaker 5: of lying to cover up for Donald Trump, to which
- 59:09Speaker 5: I say, cover up what the Russian collusion that we
- 59:12Speaker 5: now know definitively never happened. So my lawyers were in
- 59:16Speaker 5: touch with the Special Counsel's office the day before y arrest.
- 59:20Speaker 5: We gave them thirty pages of text messages that proved
- 59:23Speaker 5: that their star witness, Randy Kretico, was lying and that
- 59:27Speaker 5: I had told the truth. But they didn't care. Rather
- 59:30Speaker 5: than say, oh you should just you know, come turn
- 59:32Speaker 5: yourself in, we're going to charge you. Twenty nine heavily
- 59:35Speaker 5: armed FBI agents in full swat year, wearing night goggles
- 59:40Speaker 5: and brandishing M four assault weapons arrived by car, arrive
- 59:45Speaker 5: by boat, ride by helicopter to arrest me at six
- 59:49Speaker 5: o'clock in the morning and to purp walk my wife
- 59:52Speaker 5: out of the house in her nightgown, so that she
- 59:56Speaker 5: was suitably humiliated because there was an camera twenty five
- 1:00:01Speaker 5: feet from my front door when all of this went down. Now, Mark,
- 1:00:05Speaker 5: I have an affidavit from a retired Fort Lauderdale police
- 1:00:09Speaker 5: officer who was called in that day to back up
- 1:00:11Speaker 5: the FBI, and when he told the CNN crew that
- 1:00:15Speaker 5: they had to get behind the rope line with all
- 1:00:17Speaker 5: the rest of the media, he was chewed out by
- 1:00:19Speaker 5: an FBI agent who told him, no, they have special
- 1:00:22Speaker 5: permission to be here.
- 1:00:24Speaker 2: Wow, Now, obviously they were invited. How else would they
- 1:00:26Speaker 2: have even known about their raid? Obviously call me out.
- 1:00:29Speaker 5: Well. In fact, in fact, I was arrested at sixty eleven.
- 1:00:33Speaker 5: At six twenty two, a producer from CNN let my
- 1:00:37Speaker 5: lawyer know by text that I had been arrested, and
- 1:00:40Speaker 5: she actually attached a copy of my sealed indictment. My
- 1:00:44Speaker 5: sealed criminal indictment had no timestamps on, It had no
- 1:00:48Speaker 5: court markings on. It wasn't unsealed until eleven thirty that morning.
- 1:00:52Speaker 5: So how did CNN know. Well, if you went to
- 1:00:54Speaker 5: the metadata tags on that document, you.
- 1:00:57Speaker 13: Have the initials of the man who wrote it, for the.
- 1:01:00Speaker 5: Man who linked it Andrew Weisman, the single most corrupt
- 1:01:03Speaker 5: prosecutor in American history.
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: Wow, you know, I don't really know these guys well.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: But Robert Muller, it seemed like an honest guy. How
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: does he end up with Weissman with Komi as his
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: number two? Is Muller that bad a guy?
- 1:01:18Speaker 5: I think that by the time he was the Special
- 1:01:21Speaker 5: Counsel he was non encompassment. To see his performance before
- 1:01:24Speaker 5: the House indicates to me that he was not in
- 1:01:26Speaker 5: his right mind. I think he was a frontman. They
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: were using the gravitas of his former position as head
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: of the FBI. I would argue with the idea that
- 1:01:35Speaker 5: he was a good guy. He is the guy who
- 1:01:38Speaker 5: failed to investigate the reports of men training in northern
- 1:01:42Speaker 5: Florida going to a flight school there, very focused on
- 1:01:46Speaker 5: how to take off, but not too focused on how
- 1:01:48Speaker 5: to land. Well, four of those people turned out to
- 1:01:52Speaker 5: be the nine to eleven hijackers. No investigation until after
- 1:01:55Speaker 5: the attack. He's the same guy who took the uranium
- 1:01:58Speaker 5: one sample. That's what Clinton sold seventy percent control of
- 1:02:02Speaker 5: the uranium in this country to a Russian entity. He's
- 1:02:05Speaker 5: the guy who carried the sample over to Russia for
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: them to inspect before the sale went down, so I
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: would argue he was not a good guy at all.
- 1:02:14Speaker 2: Yeah. Now there's a lot of big Trump supporters that
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: are very mad. They're angry that Komi hasn't been indicted before,
- 1:02:20Speaker 2: that Brennan isn't in jail, that Wiseman isn't in jail.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Is that ever going to happen? Are you ever going
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: to see any of that?
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: Well?
- 1:02:26Speaker 5: I think this is really up to Acting Attorney General
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: Todd blanche I mean, look, threatening the life of the
- 1:02:32Speaker 5: president is a far more serious crime. They're lying under
- 1:02:35Speaker 5: oath to Congress, which is a process crime, something that
- 1:02:38Speaker 5: I am not guilty of. And in this case, the
- 1:02:42Speaker 5: guy was the head of the FBI. He knows what
- 1:02:44Speaker 5: eighty six means. He knows that in mob language that
- 1:02:47Speaker 5: means to eliminate, to whack. He knows that. So I
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: do think it is serious. In North Carolina is a
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: far more favorable jurisdiction for a fair trial than Washington, DC,
- 1:03:00Speaker 5: where you know they'd probably give you a medal for
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: that if you were a federal judge. But the more
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: serious crime is that of seditious conspiracy. Telsey Gabbert, who
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: I think is among the President's very best appointments, has
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: declassified the documents that proved that there was a seditious
- 1:03:18Speaker 5: conspiracy that began in twenty sixteen in the White House
- 1:03:21Speaker 5: involving Biden, Obama, Susan Rice, John Brennan, James colemy Rod Rosenstein,
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: Robert Muller, and others to not only create the Russian
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: collusion hoax. They knew the Steele dossier was a fraud.
- 1:03:39Speaker 5: That was their chief piece of evidence to rationalize the
- 1:03:42Speaker 5: appointment of Mueller.
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: They knew there was.
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: No hack of the Democrat National Committee. My lawyers proved
- 1:03:47Speaker 5: that at trial. That's when they gagged me when I
- 1:03:49Speaker 5: was showing too much truth. So the real question here
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: is that seditious conspiracy continues not only through the Russian collusion,
- 1:03:58Speaker 5: but the two fake which Tulci. Gabbert again has released
- 1:04:02Speaker 5: the documents proving that that what I believe is the
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: theft of the twenty twenty election, the Arctic Frost investigation
- 1:04:09Speaker 5: into Trump, which was an extra constitutional investigation. I was
- 1:04:14Speaker 5: among those under surveillance that were reading my emails, listening
- 1:04:17Speaker 5: to my phone calls. What's the probable cause for that,
- 1:04:20Speaker 5: but it lands at Marlago. The raid at Marlago puts
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: this within the jurisdiction of the US Attorney in South Florida. So,
- 1:04:30Speaker 5: in all honesty, Tulcy Gabbert has given a first year
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: law student enough to indict these people. It would take
- 1:04:37Speaker 5: about an hour. I don't know what they are waiting for.
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: Yeah, it's Tulca Gabbert's report. There's your reporting, there's Greg Jarrett,
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: there's all this stuff. What don't we have a problem
- 1:04:47Speaker 2: with statute of limitations running out? This has been years
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: of this.
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: There is no statute limitations on seditious conspiracy. This is
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: the good news, which is the good news. So yes,
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: I agree with you. I wonder why these people haven't
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: been brought to justice. It's really about having a two
- 1:05:05Speaker 5: tiered justice system. James call Me lied to Congress two
- 1:05:09Speaker 5: hundred and fifty four times in one set down of testimony,
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: yet he was charged. When they asked me, did you
- 1:05:18Speaker 5: ever get an email from Steve Benn And I said
- 1:05:20Speaker 5: I don't think so, they produced the email. It was
- 1:05:23Speaker 5: a link to the front page of that day's New
- 1:05:26Speaker 5: York Times? So what what? What did that prove?
- 1:05:29Speaker 2: But again a lot of supporters. We see how ruthless
- 1:05:32Speaker 2: Biden Brennan. They're ruthless. They'll do anything, They'll kill anybody
- 1:05:35Speaker 2: in the way. President Trump won't do that. But some
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: argue he's got to start doing But is it the
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: case where you can't start doing what they do It
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: would make us just as bad as them.
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: No, there's a substantial difference, and that is President Trump
- 1:05:51Speaker 5: didn't violate the law of the Constitution. General Flynn did
- 1:05:54Speaker 5: not violate the law or the constitution. I didn't violate
- 1:05:57Speaker 5: the law or the constitution. In this case, you have
- 1:06:00Speaker 5: very serious crimes. These people violated the law. Let's take
- 1:06:03Speaker 5: the impeachment, the cute twin Vinman brothers in their cute
- 1:06:07Speaker 5: little uniforms insisting on being called colonel. Those guys made
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: up their testimony. Eric cmmeller, the CIA operative, the so
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: called whistleblower who denied under road that he ever talked
- 1:06:20Speaker 5: to Adam Schiff was being coached by Adam Schiff. The difference, Mark,
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: is they broke the law and they violated the constitution.
- 1:06:27Speaker 1: We did not.
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: That's a very substantial difference. I think they should be prosecuted.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: Yeah, well, keep pushing that, keep pushing for that now
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: because of all the legal torture they put you through,
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: you got do you still have big legal bills? Right?
- 1:06:39Speaker 2: You still have a legal defense fund?
- 1:06:41Speaker 5: Well, actually, I must admit that that I have that
- 1:06:45Speaker 5: I'm slowly recovering. I mean, you're right. We lost our home,
- 1:06:49Speaker 5: our savings, our insurance. I had to sell my electric
- 1:06:53Speaker 5: guitar that almost killed me, that that got me through
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: college by playing in a small band. Sell I Basically
- 1:07:01Speaker 5: we were indigen I had to borrow money for my
- 1:07:04Speaker 5: adult children to live. But I have paid off an
- 1:07:08Speaker 5: enormous legal debt, and I just paid off an enormous
- 1:07:12Speaker 5: debt to the irs. You see, Hunter Biden was allowed
- 1:07:17Speaker 5: to walk on fifteen million dollars in taxes. They allowed
- 1:07:20Speaker 5: those taxes to expire. In my case, I paid them
- 1:07:24Speaker 5: an enormous amount, seventy five percent of which was interest
- 1:07:27Speaker 5: in penalties. They would give me no break. These were
- 1:07:31Speaker 5: two thousand and six taxes, the only year in which
- 1:07:34Speaker 5: I was I was short. So they sued me in
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: a civil suit. Not because I hid income, not because
- 1:07:40Speaker 5: I evaded taxes mark. They sued me because they breaked
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: me financially. Then they sued me when I couldn't make
- 1:07:46Speaker 5: the paymance.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: God. Well, that's an awful chapter in America. But everybody,
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: go to stone Zone dot com. You can get the podcast,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: you can get his everything's there, his books. Go to
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: stone Zone dot com, st ozone dot com and Roger
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Stone Let's do it again soon.
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: Are great to be back with you, God show all.
- 1:08:06Speaker 2: Right, keep up the good work, take care, hey, and
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: don't forget coming up at noon today we got Buck
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: and Clay with an excellent show every day noon to three.
- 1:08:18Speaker 2: And you know Curtis is back. You can now listen
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: to CURTISLIWA and Larry Menti every morning six to ten
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: right here on seven ten wr.
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: Let's get back to the Mark Simone show. On wo.
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: Hey, it's the first day of May. It's May first. Already,
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: you got the Mother's Day coming up, you got Slinko Demayo,
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: and you got May Day coming up. This is a
- 1:08:43Speaker 2: big event now for Democrats and they're going to plan
- 1:08:46Speaker 2: this some massive, massive May Day demonstrations all around the country.
- 1:08:52Speaker 2: Six hundred communist groups and other radical organizations linked to
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: Democrats are mobilizing all over the United States. So this
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: May Day demonstration one of the things they do is
- 1:09:03Speaker 2: to tell people not to buy anything, don't. They basically
- 1:09:05Speaker 2: try to destroy the economy in one day. It's absolutely horrible.
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: It's going to be chaos. It's going to be embarrassing
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: for the Democrats, not the crazy, woke Democrats, but for
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: normal people, and it's going to cost them with independence
- 1:09:18Speaker 2: when they watch this. So it's good. Let them do it.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: It'll help screw up the midterm elections for them. And also,
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: you can never you know, you guys can't ever do
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: a no King's demonstration ever again. There was a king
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: here this week, parading around everywhere, and you didn't protest
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: him once, an actual king. Hey, we're out of time.
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: I'll be back Monday. Every weekday ten to noon. Have
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: a great weekend seven to ten. Wo
