- 0:00[SPEAKER_01]: This thought has occurred to you recently, which is why this video found you.
- 0:04[SPEAKER_01]: And that is that you probably had the idea or thought what will it take or how can I make my first million dollars?
- 0:13[SPEAKER_01]: I want you to know that there is a possibility that you're doing too much.
- 0:18[SPEAKER_01]: And I'm gonna be breaking down exactly what I did in the year I made my first million dollars.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's been a lot to think through, but I want you to know that when you make a million,
- 0:30[SPEAKER_01]: because of this conversation.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_01]: Welcome to the department.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm on Roll to Corey and this is art.mp4.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_01]: Proced automatic.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_01]: Automatic.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: I was thinking about this now.
- 0:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's like at something that seemed such like a big thing.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_01]: which when we all have that moment, when we think about like, man, what would it take or what do I have to do to make a million?
- 0:52[SPEAKER_01]: That when you cross the line and you just become the person that was required to make that million, is it actually is harder, you have to try harder to not make a million.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: Like, which is a crazy concept.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: And I know people are gonna be like, what are you talking about?
- 1:08[SPEAKER_01]: So I started entrepreneurship in 2016 and my first million dollar year in business was 2024.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, now there were some things that I decided on in the beginning of the year.
- 1:25[SPEAKER_01]: that then now looking back on there were things that we did after that decision, okay?
- 1:29[SPEAKER_01]: So the decision was or the thing I decided on was I honestly had the real honest self-conversation.
- 1:38[SPEAKER_01]: You know, you ever talked to yourself, like, I hope you do, because self-talk is important.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: And if you have, if you have poor self-talk, there's a chances are you have a poor circumstance.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: So, change your self-talk.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's just that's free.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: You know the paper that one.
- 1:53[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so I started the year in 2024, and I I had the self-talk conversation and I asked myself what would it take to do it.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: Now, what I did is I gave myself the permission.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_01]: to do whatever it took in order to do so.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_01]: What did that mean?
- 2:14[SPEAKER_01]: That meant I counted the cost before I had to pay it.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: I counted the cost.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_01]: What is it going to, because another way to ask that question is, what is the cost to making a million dollars?
- 2:27[SPEAKER_01]: in revenue.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: You asked yourself that question.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_01]: And because I think what people think is that when you make a million number one, you think it's like this crazy achievement.
- 2:37[SPEAKER_01]: The truth is when it happens, it will happen.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: And he'll be like, oh,
- 2:42[SPEAKER_01]: it happened.
- 2:44[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't like this pinnacle moment, even like hitting 100,000 subscribers on this channel.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: It wasn't the same.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_01]: Because there's like millionaire or net worth, there's making a million.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_01]: And in this case, we're talking about making a million.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: So it was just like, it's just knowing.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_01]: And I want people to know this that there's a cost you must pay before you get to the thing you want.
- 3:07[SPEAKER_01]: So I had to ask myself the question, what's the cost of making a million?
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: Now, giving myself the permission to undergo whatever would come my way with that would bring me closer to that goal, I'm just gonna be more yes-hinged.
- 3:24[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna be, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna air-tore it.
- 3:27[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, let's try it.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_01]: So, so that was like just like the preface.
- 3:31[SPEAKER_01]: I want people to know this before I tell you exactly the singular things we did because when it came time to get help, I was hoping that help was free, but the help wasn't free.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: Get the pay for help.
- 3:47[SPEAKER_01]: The higher the contractor, these are costs that I'm paying before we get to that place.
- 3:52[SPEAKER_01]: And it's just a great, healthy way to perceive your business
- 4:01[SPEAKER_01]: Is it?
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: So how you're really going to make a million dollars is how much you're willing to put up front, both on a buy-in standpoint, spiritually, mentally, physically, and also on a financial standpoint.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_01]: Are you, wait, would you want a million-dollar business all by yourself?
- 4:18[SPEAKER_01]: But that's actually, that's actually very hard.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: But it's like, what was that number?
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: What?
- 4:24[SPEAKER_00]: Like, when you ask yourself that question, like, what is it going to cost for me to make a million?
- 4:28[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it was just that, like, I'm okay with whatever it costs.
- 4:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, okay.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: That, that's the idea.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: Got it.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: So you were helping me?
- 4:35[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: So that was a cost I was paying.
- 4:37[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_01]: I originally hired one coach, so this was like Myron Golden, so this is, it's important to say, because I'm going to give you a series of ones in this conversation, because in order to make a million dollars, it's actually doing less, it's not doing more.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_01]: It's listening to less people, not listening to more people, as you guys listen to me, you know, or listen to us.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_01]: But so I had one coach, and I think it's so important that you identify somebody you align with that is where you want to be.
- 5:13[SPEAKER_01]: They know something you don't.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: You have blind spots, you have ignorance.
- 5:18[SPEAKER_01]: And if you align with somebody's values, they're vibe the way they communicate or the way they teach.
- 5:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's a, there's something, there's a draw there for a reason.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: And one of my favorite things about coaching is that when you pay someone who doesn't need your money,
- 5:40[SPEAKER_01]: the energy in which they have to see you in is like, it's 100%.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: There's like, when you hire a coach, there is no intent to see you fail.
- 5:54[SPEAKER_01]: So it's like, you're actually paying for like this force of, of, of, of, of, like, future, you're, like, a future force and I don't want to get so esoteric, but anyway, so I like, I paid.
- 6:05[SPEAKER_01]: It was my ring golden, right?
- 6:06[SPEAKER_01]: That was a 50 that 5,000-dollar coaching program.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_01]: So before my million-dollar year, I'm already in the can, 55k.
- 6:11[SPEAKER_01]: And then we got, uh, I was paying you, like, $20 a day.
- 6:13[SPEAKER_01]: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe it was like, maybe it was like, what's it y'all should do?
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, like 50k for the year.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe 60k for the year.
- 6:29[SPEAKER_01]: You're like, not doggy.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: You pay me like 35k for the year.
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you know when I started, it was like a thousand a month and then it went up to like maybe two thousand.
- 6:38[SPEAKER_01]: But I hope people know it wasn't full time a thousand dollars a month.
- 6:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like, don't put them in place here.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_00]: This was think media videos like, I mean, let's just call it like, yeah, it was like around 2500 a month.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, yeah.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so when like we first which is whatever that is for the year so then so then I had help So I'm at like what is that I mean now we're at Look, I call it 70 $5,000 right and then I'm at a point where I like I need help And I ask a friend and then this was a friend of ours that that helped me do a challenge and their cost was
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: five percent of all proceeds that we made.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_00]: So we're on top of his feet though, because then he have a fee.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and then there was like a fee.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, this isn't this isn't David.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_01]: So so anyway, this is like before you got it.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, I'm just saying I'm a curing these costs.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_01]: So like I'm just wanting to put in perspective.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I'm going to save you the story because we made an additional hire, we hired an admin person at 60K and then we hired a consultant because I was like, whatever it takes, whatever it costs.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: So I think the big idea here is just being more yes-hinged to the opportunity.
- 7:53[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's almost like a right of passage to pay it first to then get access to the next level.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: But when it's all said and done, the first year we made a million dollars, I believe it costed me $300,000.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_01]: And we broke a million, a little over a million.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_01]: Now like, is that a great trade?
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: It is.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_01]: Would you trade $300,000 for 1.1 million?
- 8:18[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so then why don't you
- 8:25[SPEAKER_01]: front why why don't you give yourself the permission to front the $300,000.
- 8:28[SPEAKER_00]: I think because of the risk like there's a risk I like okay if I if I if I front is $300,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: you are rewarded for the level of risk you're willing to take.
- 8:47[SPEAKER_01]: The people who make the most money are simply making the money because they were willing to go first or they're willing to pay the cost.
- 8:53[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, I don't wanna make it more complex than that idea.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: Now,
- 8:57[SPEAKER_01]: In theory, when I say $300,000 to trade for 1.1, it's in the years time.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: So when you make a higher, and this goes for people, maybe you feel like, because if you're listening to this or watching this and you're like, yeah, a million's my next step, and you don't have team or you don't have the right people, you're just not going to get there with the right, with all by yourself.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_01]: This like online, make as much money as possible, but it costing as little as possible mentality is like a, it's a broke scare mentality to pursuing abundance.
- 9:31[SPEAKER_01]: But when you hire someone, you're not paying them their salary all up front.
- 9:39[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so it's like, yes, I'm saying yes to the salary, but if this person doesn't work out in 90 days, it was a 15K lesson.
- 9:49[SPEAKER_01]: and whatever systems and processes they set it up.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: So I feel like I'm probably losing people here, but the idea here is just, if you're gonna make $1 billion in the next year, I want you to count, give yourself the permission to pay the cost on whatever it may be.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I think there's five things that we took away, because we're asking the question, what did it take?
- 10:13[SPEAKER_01]: And it really is what did we take away?
- 10:16[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to make a million doing less.
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I know that sounds like a trip.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's like, no, this makes no sense.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: I gotta do more in order to make a million.
- 10:25[SPEAKER_01]: No, you actually do less.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_01]: better than doing everything.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_01]: The number one question I usually get asked by people like you is Omar how the heck does your videos look and sounds so dang crispy?
- 10:38[SPEAKER_01]: Well the reality is it's the equipment I use and you'd be surprised how inexpensive it could actually be.
- 10:44[SPEAKER_01]: So I've compiled all my gear and I updated the list and I want to give it to you.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_01]: So if you're listening or watching this just hit the description box below and I'll send you my gear guide for every budget and let's get
- 10:56[SPEAKER_01]: When we were making a few hundred thousand dollars a year, I guess the year before 2024 was maybe a 350k year.
- 11:04[SPEAKER_01]: It was all kinds of stuff.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_01]: All kinds of offers and all those things.
- 11:07[SPEAKER_01]: So here are like the five decisions I made that really allowed us to succeed as a business and make our first million.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_01]: So the first thing is we decided on one platform.
- 11:22[SPEAKER_01]: a pick a platform to go pro on.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_01]: I have friends, one of my partner business partners.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_01]: He chose Instagram to make his first million.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_01]: For me, I chose YouTube to make our first million.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: And this was the platform, I've always been fond of.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's a platform I've always wanted to decide to be professional in and acquiring millions of subscribers on this platform.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like it's the most powerful platform when it comes to building trust and getting to know someone online.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_01]: But it doesn't matter.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: The idea here is like, just pick, just pick one that like the one that you go to bed at night and you think about like the next piece of content, you know, so.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: So that's YouTube going pro on YouTube.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: We started this podcast in efforts to just pick a platform and.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: Master it and now I knew what I knew going into it, but I also didn't know a lot of things having a heavy have the podcast.
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean all you knew is like you just knew how you wanted to show up and that was through casual conversations.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: And YouTube was the best way to do that.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: Because like would you say that's why Neil did Instagram is because that was like his way of like showing up.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_01]: I mean it was the one it was the the the way to show up that felt the most natural
- 12:46[SPEAKER_01]: but there's a level to it still that like the consistency required to win on a platform is an intentional consistency and that is you trying to get 1% better with every upload.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_01]: Now what's crazy is it's almost like I made a bet by deciding something.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_01]: to make a bet and going all in on YouTube meant that everything else will be secondary or supplemental to our primary focus.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_01]: And posting one long-form video a week is not only made me a better communicator, it's almost preserved us.
- 13:29[SPEAKER_01]: It has preserved us in this whole AI revolution.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_00]: Good night.
- 13:34[SPEAKER_00]: And what way?
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: In the way that AI can't make this,
- 13:38[SPEAKER_01]: So like I mean, like the commoditization of short form content and images, it's not that it's bad.
- 13:47[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be harder to break through if you're like making one of those other platforms or main platform to focus on.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I literally just saw a real the other day.
- 13:56[SPEAKER_01]: And it was like, yo, I just taught chat and clawed to edit my video, schedule the videos, and then post the videos.
- 14:06[SPEAKER_01]: And now I'm posting three times a day.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, dang, like, whether it's trash posts, like, I was just like, I'm glad.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_01]: that YouTube videos like this are sheltered right from this.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_01]: Especially long form, like you can't, yeah, I mean, you can't fake it.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I'm not here to this is not the type of podcast to sell you on YouTube and we have videos, even a few weeks ago we uploaded a YouTube conversation, but I want you to pick a platform.
- 14:36[SPEAKER_01]: And here's the power of decision making is everything works.
- 14:42[SPEAKER_01]: So if you overthink a decision that I'm asking you to make in order to make your first million, then it's probably revealing a limiting belief or an insecurity.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_01]: So you're going, well, Omar, but what about?
- 14:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_01]: LinkedIn.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_01]: But Omar, but what about Facebook?
- 15:01[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, the world is so big and we're only talking about a million here.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not talking about 100 million.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_01]: That's a different level.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_01]: But but also what comes to mind is like how long?
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: How long should I choose this platform for or prioritize it for?
- 15:18[SPEAKER_01]: Do it till you make a million bucks and you can change it later after that.
- 15:21[SPEAKER_01]: Give yourself the permission to change after you become a millionaire.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, that's fair.
- 15:25[SPEAKER_00]: Fair.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: Look at that.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: Because what was coming to mind was like the, like the, do it for a decade thing.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 15:32[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I don't know if it's like trying to make a million for a decade is really like, we got a problem.
- 15:39[SPEAKER_01]: If you post great, long-form videos on YouTube and you dedicate a decade to doing it, and like your money doesn't change, like we got a problem.
- 15:49[SPEAKER_01]: Now, am I saying circle back and come with me?
- 15:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, come after me in a decade and let me know.
- 15:54[SPEAKER_01]: No, however, if you're trying to grow on a platform, by the way, this is a selfish push.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: This podcast is sponsored by the content to cast challenge, which is a five-day coaching experience where I will show you what you can and what you need to do in order to dominate a platform and more importantly, how to actually make money from those efforts.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: Most people think,
- 16:18[SPEAKER_01]: it's just a by-product, but dedicating a decade, by the way, link in the description or in the comment section.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_00]: Real quick, I mean, you have these five things that like, these are the things that like, made you, or allowed you to make a million.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_00]: But obviously in the heat of you doing it like did you know you were doing this like I mean, did you know like okay I'm gonna choose one coach or I'm gonna choose a platform.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: That's a great question.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like not necessarily right?
- 16:46[SPEAKER_00]: No.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: I mean because when you're in it This is why I'm able to teach from it.
- 16:51[SPEAKER_01]: That's why You should only take advice from people who could speak from the place they've been to Because you could never take somebody a place you've never been come on somebody
- 17:02[SPEAKER_01]: Um, but as I look back, there were, and that's why it's funny when you, when I'm looking back, I am thinking, I remember thinking to myself, I'm only going to listen to one person.
- 17:12[SPEAKER_01]: Like as far as like take their guidance and mentorship and coaching.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: So that was the, the one coach.
- 17:20[SPEAKER_01]: And then picking the platform, um, I already knew the value in YouTube.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: So I mean, I guess there was some intuition in deciding that.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: I would say now, like years later, like we do we Instagram pretty well.
- 17:36[SPEAKER_01]: We have our system for that, which by the way, I teach on the content to cash on.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_01]: But yeah, when you asked the question, did I consciously know what I was doing then?
- 17:44[SPEAKER_01]: No, but that's the point.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_01]: The point is that you become the person who unconsciously does things.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you know.
- 17:55[SPEAKER_00]: Because what I'm imagining is
- 18:00[SPEAKER_00]: this format or like framework that we're you know giving a people could feel like okay this is going to be my start like I'm going to start with this but most of the people watching this are already in yeah in the process of doing in the process of I mean it should be removing stuff listening to us yeah which like could be tough to do 100 is what I'm assuming because the concept of thinking you need to do more in order to make more is a
- 18:28[SPEAKER_01]: limiting belief.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that I have to do more of what I'm doing now in order to make more money.
- 18:36[SPEAKER_01]: When it's, and it sounds a trip, but it's actually, no, it's actually less.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it just could feel like a step backwards.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: 100.
- 18:46[SPEAKER_01]: Well, because, because what you see, you know, our senses, our senses are very telling, and if you're trying to achieve something that's like out there, or it's like, you know, you see it's possible.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_01]: everything in your senses are what you're making now.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_01]: Your senses on what you know is working.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_01]: And so, yeah, you're almost tempted to do more of what you're doing because it's easy to the five senses.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_01]: So this is sound over-simplified.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: Of course it does, because it is it's simple.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: We're the one who come to who complicate things.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, the next thing.
- 19:38[SPEAKER_01]: So we got one coach, one platform.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: The next one is one conversion method.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_01]: Method, one conversion.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, Omar, what does that mean?
- 19:45[SPEAKER_01]: So it's how are people becoming customers?
- 19:51[SPEAKER_01]: Like what do you do in your business now?
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: that turns viewers, that turns people that get found on ads, or whatever.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_01]: Like, yeah, how are they becoming customers?
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: Do you mean like, what do they buy from you?
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't want to even go, that's even, no, it's the mechanism.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: What is the mechanism people buy things from you?
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: That has to be a decision.
- 20:17[SPEAKER_01]: You either do cold calls.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_01]: You either hop on zoom, you just cover your calls.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_01]: You may have a, you know, I like, like what my friend Richmond teaches is tiny challenge.
- 20:29[SPEAKER_01]: You might want to do in-person workshops.
- 20:33[SPEAKER_01]: Like the idea here,
- 20:35[SPEAKER_01]: is that you perfect the conversion vehicle, because sales should be predictable.
- 20:46[SPEAKER_01]: You should get X amount of people in a context, and then every time we get 10 people, two people buy.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: Now, if you're not seeing that data, how do you scale, how do you grow, how do you do more of something?
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: So there's like these four levers of business.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_01]: fulfillment, and then retention or ascension.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, when people sign up for something, how many people sign up?
- 21:15[SPEAKER_01]: From the people that sign up, how many people show up?
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: Is there a fall off?
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: Is there a big fall off?
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, what can you do to increase that fall off?
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: How many people stayed?
- 21:25[SPEAKER_01]: on the call at the time and then and then how many people bought.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_01]: These are just, these are levers based on a conversion vehicle and they all work.
- 21:35[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that's the point.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_01]: The goal isn't to overthink the decisions now that I'm telling you to make one, the goal is to just like just pick.
- 21:46[SPEAKER_01]: Now Omar, but isn't that leaving money on the table?
- 21:49[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: By the way, in order
- 21:54[SPEAKER_01]: It means you could have made it several different ways, but you made it because you only chose the one way to make it.
- 22:02[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know what I mean.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: I'm making people like scratch their head.
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: But the truth is, you will be successful when you actually know you're leaving stuff on the table, but you still decide to do what you decided.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_01]: Like you still stick to your decision.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, would you stick to your decision of picking one, even if like maybe you feel like you picked the wrong one?
- 22:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like would you, there's no such thing as wrong.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_01]: Would you deviate?
- 22:33[SPEAKER_01]: What, my question would be, why would you think it's wrong?
- 22:36[SPEAKER_01]: Cause maybe it's not working, like you thought it would.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, but then we got to read, we got to look at what effort you put into it.
- 22:45[SPEAKER_01]: This is why I tell people run away from people who say,
- 22:53[SPEAKER_01]: If somebody says multiple things don't work because they've done it all and they try it all, that's humanly possible.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: We still have one conversion method and I'm still perfecting it.
- 23:05[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so like two years later, two years later, still.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: But I'll just tell you, yeah, this is what's your guys' conversion method.
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: Our conversion method is a master class, which is a 60 minute zoom call.
- 23:19[SPEAKER_01]: If you want to join that zoom call, you can click the link in the description, where I teach entrepreneurs how to build their personal brands.
- 23:26[SPEAKER_01]: And then we let people join a paid learning experience, not a course.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_01]: Omar, could you have done it with a course?
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: But I didn't choose, of course, I chose a challenge model, which is a beautiful two-way street to demonstrate my ability to help somebody wherever they're at, regardless of what season they're in.
- 23:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but you landed on the challenge model because of your coach that you picked,
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: and that like naturally aligned.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: So, I don't know, I could imagine people are maybe struggling to find their coach and like should they pick a coach that aligns directly with what they do already or is it okay to like have a coach that does something way different than what you do.
- 24:15[SPEAKER_00]: But like the goal still the same.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_01]: I don't see too much benefit in having a coach that doesn't understand what you're doing.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_01]: Or do what you do?
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_01]: No, I did not, no, no, no.
- 24:29[SPEAKER_01]: Myron is a business coach and he doesn't prescribe the way he does his business on people's business.
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: I don't do that either.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_01]: If there isn't alignment and there is something there, but yeah, it's your business.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_01]: You find what works for you.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_01]: A coach is really just there to help you get insight that you can't see otherwise because they have gone the distance and they've tried things.
- 24:53[SPEAKER_01]: So when you say like, so when people tell me, or when people show me their YouTube channels, I'm like, I don't even have to click on a video.
- 25:02[SPEAKER_01]: That's like, that's like accelerated insight.
- 25:05[SPEAKER_01]: How long would it take for you to keep making them a stake
- 25:10[SPEAKER_01]: So I think there's some wisdom in paying someone who's already done it, but no, I don't think you have to.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: Like, there's people that are in the education state, like the scholastic academia space that hire, yeah.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_00]: This actually made me like feel like an obvious question.
- 25:28[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know why I'm asking it.
- 25:29[SPEAKER_00]: This is like deep in, but,
- 25:32[SPEAKER_00]: Like was your goal for hiring Miron as your coach to make a million?
- 25:36[SPEAKER_00]: Like was that the point or no?
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: Because I don't think it was, right?
- 25:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_01]: It was just, there was something inside of me that knew there was more.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_01]: And I knew that I was missing something.
- 25:46[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 25:47[SPEAKER_00]: And the thing being like his way of making six figures in a day or like a million dollars in a day.
- 25:55[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, yeah, I mean, that's interesting.
- 25:56[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good, I mean, I guess that's a fair question.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_00]: So, I mean, so should that be like their filters, what I'm asking to, like, should someone with that filter, like, I want to make a million, should they choose their coach through that filter?
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think if you'd want to grow exponentially in any area in life, you should buy your coach.
- 26:18[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's good.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: So if you want to grow in, if you want to grow your business,
- 26:23[SPEAKER_01]: you should just pay what why why why why why would we treat it like any oh why would we treat it like anything else um just just because you show up to the gym doesn't mean your form is correct just because you commit to a healthy lifestyle doesn't mean you're eating the right macros and like I don't just but there are there are people that can just tell you straight up exactly what to do and there are people that can tell you what you're doing wrong
- 26:51[SPEAKER_01]: Which allows you to get through the mistake sooner.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_01]: Um, is that answer the question?
- 26:57[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah So yeah, but I'm just laying out the platform we chose was the coach we hired was my ring golden the platform I chose was YouTube The conversion method we chose was a was a master class or some would call it a web class
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: Some call it a signature presentation.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_01]: There's call it an introductory event.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't matter.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's a 60 minute presentation designed to get people to move them down the line in your business, whether it's to identify your the person they should work with or they're like heck no, there's nothing I need from this person.
- 27:30[SPEAKER_01]: And then the next step is a challenge.
- 27:32[SPEAKER_01]: But as listening listeners of the podcast, you can join the challenge.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_01]: As this is sponsored by the content to cast challenge.
- 27:39[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 27:42[SPEAKER_01]: The second or the was that was one, two, three, the fourth one.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the fourth one.
- 27:46[SPEAKER_01]: I guess we got like six.
- 27:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's one link, one link, one link, and it's not a link tree.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: If you have a link tree in your bio, you're losing.
- 28:00[SPEAKER_01]: People,
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: already are so distracted when somebody comes into your world and they click like a link tree, and you're making them decide alone without being led, persuaded, understood, they're not going to choose.
- 28:20[SPEAKER_01]: So that's just free game, you know, the paper that one.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_01]: If you have a link tree in your bio, make it one link.
- 28:28[SPEAKER_01]: Literally the one link.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_01]: I had in my bio-on Instagram and the one link we had in the YouTube description was a link to the challenge and it was a weightless link so it doesn't have to be, you don't have to do exactly what I did but you can have a weightless link.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: Hey department fam, pausing the podcast to talk about this life-changing sponsorship.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's me.
- 28:51[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sponsoring the podcast and the sponsor of this podcast is the content to cast challenge which is a five day live.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_01]: coaching experience.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_01]: I put on for creators, entrepreneurs, coaches, consultants, and service providers.
- 29:04[SPEAKER_01]: If you feel like you're stuck in business or maybe there's more to business and to revenue, I'm telling you that you don't have an offer problem, you don't have an industry problem, and you probably don't even have a sales problem.
- 29:15[SPEAKER_01]: What you have is an awareness problem.
- 29:17[SPEAKER_01]: And this is why I have the content to cast challenge because I believe transformation happens on a two way street.
- 29:23[SPEAKER_01]: And how do you know if you're the
- 29:28[SPEAKER_01]: You're listening to this podcast.
- 29:30[SPEAKER_01]: This is for you.
- 29:31[SPEAKER_01]: This is your moment So to take the challenge or jump on the wait list scan the QR code on the screen or check out the link down in the description below Let's get back into the conversation How did you get this insight by the way?
- 29:42[SPEAKER_00]: Because I don't think I've ever asked you that.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_00]: Like how did you arrive at this insight of having one link?
- 29:47[SPEAKER_00]: Because I think you've had one link in your description since day one of like this like business journey that you've been on
- 29:56[SPEAKER_01]: How did I write?
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: Dude, all insight I arrived to is because of God, bro.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: Proverbs 9, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
- 30:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know, like the holy ones in sight.
- 30:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: So that's how I got the insight.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_00]: Was it just like a pure intuition?
- 30:09[SPEAKER_00]: Because what I'm comparing it to right now in my brain is, I'm not gonna say his name, but some of that is like blown up on Instagram and built his brand to millions of followers.
- 30:19[SPEAKER_00]: When you say that, people are going out.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: But even him, like he's got,
- 30:24[SPEAKER_00]: it's a link but it it sends some multiple different options and that is a commenting amongst the big hitters in business and online is like
- 30:32[SPEAKER_01]: They got multiple links so why you're sure I'm not asking you this.
- 30:36[SPEAKER_01]: I'm asking the person that you're asking for.
- 30:38[SPEAKER_01]: Are you a big hitter?
- 30:39[SPEAKER_01]: Are you a heavy hitter right now?
- 30:41[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you're a big dog.
- 30:43[SPEAKER_01]: No, bro, stick to the script, bro, one link.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_01]: Now the insight came from me wanting to maximize the one conversion event.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 30:56[SPEAKER_01]: If I, if all roads lead to my conversion event, then notice how clear I'm making it, dude, if it's confusing for me, imagine what it's like to somebody on mine.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 31:08[SPEAKER_01]: So, yeah, I mean, and that's why I think it's important that it doesn't matter, it's just that when you decide on whatever link you have in your description and in your bio, that it's one that you are.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_01]: Continuously assessing how many people click this link and then don't put their information you know
- 31:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you could give away a lead magnet.
- 31:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like the link could be something that you know is just going to serve somebody, you know.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_01]: Thankfully enough, I had some level of brand when I was, when I got into coaching and stuff, and so I was able to do like a weightless link, which people, you put out good value, people want more.
- 31:54[SPEAKER_01]: When you show that you're really good at what you do and you talk really well,
- 31:58[SPEAKER_01]: and you speak confidently, people just want to be a part as they want more.
- 32:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_00]: But I was just hammering this because I like definitely feel that this is such a thing because even new creators that I'm seeing pop up, yeah, it's just, I mean, they want to have everything in their bio and their link, their lead magnet, their newspaper, their everything.
- 32:23[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_00]: It's just like a thing for people.
- 32:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's because they think by giving more that you're allowing for more to take place.
- 32:32[SPEAKER_01]: But less is taking place because of that.
- 32:34[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 32:35[SPEAKER_01]: Literally.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_01]: So people click.
- 32:37[SPEAKER_01]: So you have great content.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just say you chose Instagram.
- 32:39[SPEAKER_01]: And you have fire content.
- 32:40[SPEAKER_01]: And you're like, my boy, Justin Owens, who's like, you know, these people will be okay.
- 32:48[SPEAKER_01]: And then you go click the link in the bio.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: And then it goes,
- 32:52[SPEAKER_01]: newsletter, YouTube, mini course, lead magnet, email, request to speak.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_01]: So you got these book of call book of call, okay.
- 33:06[SPEAKER_01]: Somebody who clicks on that link because they resonate with this stuff.
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's good, right?
- 33:12[SPEAKER_00]: Cause I got options.
- 33:15[SPEAKER_01]: Well, studies have shown.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_01]: Anytime somebody has to make a decision on their own conversions go down, I got that from the Russell Branson.
- 33:26[SPEAKER_01]: So let people make less decisions with you, which honestly, which honestly sub-consciously communicates, it's easier to work with you.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_00]: So clear.
- 33:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you've said this before.
- 33:42[SPEAKER_00]: That's not good.
- 33:43[SPEAKER_01]: No, I literally like if if it's easy to get in your world Then it subconsciously people think it's it's probably clean to be as a it's like it's probably going to be a clean clear experience to be under his leadership But if it's clunky yeah and convoluted
- 34:03[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that.
- 34:03[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's just thing it.
- 34:04[SPEAKER_00]: That's so true because I mean, I can't help but think about that podcast that you were on and we were trying to find this person's podcast through her Instagram account.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 34:12[SPEAKER_00]: And I clicked the bio and there was just so many options that I gave up.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: I was like, OK, never mind.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_01]: And the truth is, is you have to have the security to know that like your efforts on a platform, let it stay on the platform.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_01]: So like one reason why people have a link trees is because they wanna get people to like the other platforms.
- 34:35[SPEAKER_01]: Like a subscriber of my podcast or go, no, just grow your podcast.
- 34:40[SPEAKER_01]: Like just grow your YouTube channel.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_01]: It's, I mean, honestly, we don't post enough clips from this YouTube channel, but it's sustained on this platform, like I don't need to push people here.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: We'll let people know that we've dropped the podcast, but like go for it if you want, like, you know.
- 34:58[SPEAKER_01]: But at the end of the day like, no, we're platform native, we're native to the platforms we're on.
- 35:04[SPEAKER_01]: And that's why until you, you know, achieve a level of success on the one platform you picked, I would say then you can kind of spin off and like do the other stuff, but just you can only do so many things so well at this season.
- 35:20[SPEAKER_01]: One link, one link y'all.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, what's your link feto in your bio?
- 35:29[SPEAKER_00]: Dang what would you say he feed or just said he has no link and no website and his ball.
- 35:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so I would, I would have a link.
- 35:36[SPEAKER_01]: And the link would be just like inquire about your work.
- 35:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I don't know if it's, it would be, maybe an assessment, see if you're a good fit to work together.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: And then people, that already psychologically makes people go like, oh, dang, he doesn't just work with anybody.
- 35:56[SPEAKER_01]: Unlike, through that, before the sun goes down tonight, that's a Google form, easy.
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, pull that slide down a little, dude, fast action.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: Next one.
- 36:09[SPEAKER_01]: This one's going to hurt a lot of people.
- 36:13[SPEAKER_01]: One offer.
- 36:15[SPEAKER_01]: One offer.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_00]: One offer.
- 36:19[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_00]: Expand.
- 36:20[SPEAKER_00]: I, okay.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: Go.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: One offer.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_00]: I have questions.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: Sell one thing.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: Until you get to a million.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, what's the first question?
- 36:38[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody is different and if I can help people, different people in different ways, why wouldn't I do that?
- 36:46[SPEAKER_00]: Like what if my one offer doesn't necessarily help?
- 36:50[SPEAKER_00]: This person that is willing to pay me.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: I think we think, because I, because that question, there's a deeper premise from that question, and that is unwilling to take whatever money people are willing to give me.
- 37:08[SPEAKER_01]: In that case, you're, you'll build your business like a slave.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, no.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: If you're paying me, and this is a different mentality, we're talking about making a million, not 250K.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: If you're working with me, you follow my lead.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_01]: That's the difference, okay.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_01]: So, hey, so, I mean, it's bringing up a lot because it's like, well, what my pricing isn't enough, well, maybe you need to increase your value.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: So, you can increase your price.
- 37:40[SPEAKER_01]: The type of person that pays me,
- 37:42[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe you had to change the person you sell to but but having one offer for a specific type of person and just sticking with it because then you then you it allows yourself you could perfect the offer sure it's you know like.
- 38:01[SPEAKER_00]: So then almost it's like a sacrificial focus like every all of this is yeah right you're leaving something on the table every time you decide on something right I know my answer like crazy level because he's been doing this for you know how long but his principle of like make more offers like
- 38:19[SPEAKER_00]: Might as well offer, make another offer, and then you have that offer for the rest of your life to like give.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_00]: So that's what, that's what's coming to mind.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, yeah, so I mean, I'll interpret it based on what we're talking about now.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: So I believe when Myron says, just make more offers, every part of this is an offer.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like your conversion method is an offer.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's called a lead gen offer.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_01]: Your the link, you know, maybe in your bio, it's an offer.
- 38:46[SPEAKER_01]: Why does there's an exchange happening?
- 38:48[SPEAKER_01]: But when Myron says make more offers, it's essentially sell people what they want to buy.
- 38:55[SPEAKER_01]: But I have found that people don't always know they're what they're buying.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_01]: So it's kind of like the chocolate covered carrot mentality in the marketing.
- 39:04[SPEAKER_01]: You sell people chocolate.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_01]: Chocolate is what they want and then you give them the carrot.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_01]: So when I say sell one thing,
- 39:16[SPEAKER_01]: You just what you got to do is you got to think because there's nothing wrong with getting people higher up, but like the one thing, it starts with one thing.
- 39:25[SPEAKER_01]: So that advice make more offers.
- 39:34[SPEAKER_01]: It comes from the standpoint of like figuring out what's worth selling.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: But if you're watching this video to get to a million is it takes, it takes one offer, scaling one offer to pass a million.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_00]: What was that journey like for you though, because at some point?
- 39:47[SPEAKER_01]: I guess another word for offer by the way is problem here.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_00]: So I just want to make it like, so solve one problem.
- 39:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like, offer offer the solution to one problem is what I'm saying.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_00]: What was your journey like?
- 39:59[SPEAKER_00]: Because we had almost like an agency offer where we would allow people to use the studio and then.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_00]: we had the dialed in a day offer where we would come to you and build out your studio.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_00]: And then there was the one-on-one consulting.
- 40:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, they're what, yeah, that's the season.
- 40:21[SPEAKER_01]: Studio done for you studio.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_01]: I had a coaching offer, a consulting offer, what was the other one you said?
- 40:29[SPEAKER_00]: It was like the agency.
- 40:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh yeah, just like done for you production.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_01]: So now what's funny is, I didn't make a million.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_01]: No, I mean, that was that was 2023, yeah, you know, so it was doing all these things and spreading myself thin every time I had to change the change the focus and focus.
- 40:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 40:58[SPEAKER_01]: And then it was like, I had I had a 10k offer or it was like 10 or 12k at the time.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's just like, you just do the math.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: What is the math?
- 41:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like, what's a million?
- 41:14[SPEAKER_01]: So this goes for anybody, okay.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think people can come up with a 10K offer, no matter what you do.
- 41:20[SPEAKER_01]: And if you, if right now you're like, no, I'm charging 500 bucks an hour.
- 41:23[SPEAKER_01]: What just, you need to let your brain ascend to a higher level or join the content of the cash accounts, which is, this is what's sponsored by, so a million divided by, I'm just going to go 10,000.
- 41:35[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know this number out the, oh, it's 100.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 41:39[SPEAKER_00]: You have to sell 10,100 tickets.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, can you find 100 people?
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: Now, what if like 100 feels like a lot?
- 41:50[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wait, no, sorry.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_00]: It was Yeah, it was 110,000 100,000 100,000 100.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_00]: It's my bad.
- 41:55[SPEAKER_01]: I forgot it was 9 plus 10 21
- 42:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's a hundred selling a hundred people ten thousand.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 42:07[SPEAKER_01]: Now the question is, how do you get a hundred people?
- 42:09[SPEAKER_01]: How do you get in front of a hundred people?
- 42:11[SPEAKER_01]: How do you talk to over a hundred people?
- 42:12[SPEAKER_00]: So that's how you decided.
- 42:14[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's how you It was just it was like simple math and You can raise that number and that and then the amount of people go down.
- 42:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's crazy.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: Sure.
- 42:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah It's just mad.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so if we got a million and we divide that by 15,000
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: So that's 66.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 42:34[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the bigger that number gets the smaller that other number gets.
- 42:37[SPEAKER_01]: So then the question would be maybe the wrong question isn't how many people I can work with and sell all kinds of things.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: But what if it was what do I what can I do where I could charge one person 10 15 20 30 50 85
- 43:02[SPEAKER_00]: They work with a couple of people a year and they make $700,000, because it makes you go into the who you need to give the offer to.
- 43:13[SPEAKER_01]: So literally you can do.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_01]: It's so funny, like, when I think about, because I keep looking at Pablo Hood has like a creative agency that if he does a wedding, that there are types of couples that will pay a thousand bucks and that's all they got.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 43:31[SPEAKER_01]: And then there's the type of couples that have 10 grand budget for their wedding.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_01]: And now he gets to interpret that 10K for whatever that value is,
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: That means there's more people like that.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: So then, yeah, there's a little bit of like, especially as a creative, you gotta go like, how do I get more and more of that?
- 43:55[SPEAKER_00]: Because that seems like the harder thing to go for.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_01]: That seems like the harder thing to go for, but you need 10 of the 1000s to do one of the 10,000.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_01]: So like the other one is actually harder.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: So what's funny is like, when you think this way, you might miss your target.
- 44:13[SPEAKER_01]: but you've done less work, it's kind of crazy.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_00]: So one offer, which is interesting why there's some people that actually do build their, like they've made their million or they've made past a million dollars with a low ticket offer, it's just, everyone's got their thing, my thing about low ticket.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, number one, the math is just,
- 44:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, $47 product, you need to sell with that be $6,000 of $47.
- 44:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think people think in theory, a lot of people paying a little money seems like really what it is is you don't feel like you need to sell a person on a low ticket item.
- 45:06[SPEAKER_01]: Like, like, and by my say sell, I mean, like, you actually becoming good at sales.
- 45:12[SPEAKER_01]: And maybe that's like the one skill.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't write that down, but like the one skill that got me a million is good.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_01]: You're not going to make a million.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for sure.
- 45:19[SPEAKER_00]: It's on the list.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: It's on the list.
- 45:20[SPEAKER_01]: So one skill, yeah, is sales, right?
- 45:22[SPEAKER_01]: That was like, that was one and specifically the skill of of selling one to many.
- 45:29[SPEAKER_01]: So,
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, that would that be conversion method?
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: Want to many, right?
- 45:36[SPEAKER_01]: It's a one to many vehicle, but to be able to convert at a high level takes the ability and skill to sell one to many.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_01]: And like, yeah, but that's founded on sales.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: Sales is,
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: the transference of belief, and if you don't know how to do that, it's going to be hard for people to believe what you have to sell, you know, so or believe in what you're selling.
- 46:04[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like we might have to do that part too that we never did on sales, because I feel like you are, like when we did that episode on that solo episode on sales, I feel like you're like,
- 46:17[SPEAKER_00]: already five X better than you were.
- 46:19[SPEAKER_01]: That's back then.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: Probably worth going back.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_01]: Or you can just buy a ticket to the concert to cash challenge because it's coming up.
- 46:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's the last one of the year.
- 46:29[SPEAKER_01]: But yes, the one skill I decided to focus on was the skill of sales.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_01]: Which
- 46:37[SPEAKER_01]: That helped me communicate better.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_01]: That helped me listen better.
- 46:40[SPEAKER_01]: That helped me talk or like frame You know, I mean that it goes pretty deep and when you understand sales at everything changes But my thing is if you're killing it on a platform you're adding value You know what you're talking about and then when you help people you actually get them a result They want more of what you sold them like you will Make a million dollars in here
- 47:05[SPEAKER_00]: the million dollar question though, Omar, but what if I do all of these?
- 47:09[SPEAKER_00]: I chose one of all of these, and it still doesn't work.
- 47:13[SPEAKER_00]: What's the answer?
- 47:17[SPEAKER_01]: I would argue it did work.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_01]: It did the work that it needed to do, but I know that sounds esoteric, but as in like, if you did everything I said and it didn't work,
- 47:34[SPEAKER_01]: This is where I have, it's a deeper conversation that you're not the person, like you didn't do the work on the person, which you didn't do the work on the person just because of the outcome of this is the way you saw, like the way you decide to make a meaning out of the actions you took was at this didn't work, which shows me you're not the person.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I mean, that's just, it just is what it is.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: So the versus, there's other people that are doing it and that have done it, they went in their Instagram bio during this podcast and they changed their link.
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: They like made a conscious decision that I'm gonna lock in on YouTube or whatever.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_01]: They were like, okay, I'm deleting this offer, I'm deleting this offer, I'm just gonna sell this one.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_01]: Those people are like, I'm going to do it until it works.
- 48:31[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, so, yeah, that's just a different head to base.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: It's different, it's based.
- 48:35[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 48:36[SPEAKER_01]: I was watching a video today, and it was like, it was like a Tony Robbins and Russell Brunson video, and he was, he was, because Russell Brunson's writing a book on success.
- 48:49[SPEAKER_01]: But like, Tony Robbins is like, success is such a bad word.
- 48:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's just so hijacked, so 80s.
- 48:56[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, but also because it has it's it has a different definition for everybody.
- 48:59[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, and and really success is Like in many things in life is simply the the meaning you create out of things That's success so like
- 49:14[SPEAKER_01]: And we all have that privilege is to make the meaning of something.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: So if you did something and the meaning you make was like I tried it, it didn't work.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's why you're broke.
- 49:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I, I mean, and the thing is is like, so much of what I'm talking about didn't just come for me.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_01]: I'm like, I'm just regurgitating what people told me when I was in the journey of wanting to make a million in a year and then, and they were right.
- 49:45[SPEAKER_01]: So if you go and do the thing, and it doesn't work.
- 49:50[SPEAKER_01]: Cause that's why I hear tears on what it just going.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't, and it didn't work.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: You didn't do nothing, bro.
- 49:59[SPEAKER_01]: You can get better.
- 50:01[SPEAKER_01]: Give me your numbers.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I posted on YouTube, and I got 10 views.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, make better videos.
- 50:10[UNKNOWN]: Okay.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's like, I hear the other part.
- 50:14[SPEAKER_01]: I'll be like, who, who'd you hire to coach you?
- 50:20[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't.
- 50:22[SPEAKER_01]: What is that up to sound like that?
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: Anyway, all right, is anything else we're missing?
- 50:27[SPEAKER_01]: That was great, that was great, yeah.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_01]: I think I'd like to see more people make money with what they're good at because that just means that your gift, that means that your service to the world is valued and it is valuable.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: You can make a lot of money doing something that comes very easy to you.
- 50:49[SPEAKER_01]: And this is when, at the end of something, I speak when I'm like, I should have said, is that the front?
- 50:54[SPEAKER_01]: You know, anyway, peace out.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: We'll see you on the next pod.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
