Speaker 1: Coach, what do you say to the team, Obviously they're
• 0:03
Speaker 1: all fired up. What do you have to say to
• 0:04
Speaker 1: them after this one?
• 0:05
Speaker 2: Well, that's called the character win, you know, And that's
• 0:08
Speaker 2: why we work hard all off season, and that's why
• 0:10
Speaker 2: we practice as hard as we do, and that's why
• 0:12
Speaker 2: we pay attention to the details because you're going to
• 0:14
Speaker 2: get in games like that. You know, you can't judge
• 0:17
Speaker 2: any team by their record, You just judge them by
• 0:19
Speaker 2: the way they play. On game to end, Temple played fantastic.
• 0:22
Speaker 2: They played tough, they played hard, they played physical. Their
• 0:25
Speaker 2: defense was outstanding. We were not at our best, but
• 0:27
Speaker 2: that you know what. I don't want to take anything
• 0:29
Speaker 2: away from what Temple did. But that's why you defend
• 0:32
Speaker 2: every single blade of grass, you know, So something like
• 0:34
Speaker 2: that can happen and you come in here four and
• 0:36
Speaker 2: two instead of three and three.
• 0:38
Speaker 1: The last two plays, third and one from the half
• 0:40
Speaker 1: inch line, fourth and goal from the half inch line.
• 0:43
Speaker 1: What did you see about that group that front seven,
• 0:45
Speaker 1: whatever it was to get the job done.
• 0:48
Speaker 2: A look in their eye that I see almost every
• 0:50
Speaker 2: day like we're going to get it done. Enough is enough?
• 0:53
Speaker 2: Put you know, put your trust in us. We'll get
• 0:56
Speaker 2: it done. You know, you look at Jilani, and you
• 0:58
Speaker 2: look at Dow, and you look at two, and you
• 1:00
Speaker 2: look at Jayden, and you look at Darante, and you
• 1:02
Speaker 2: look at the league and you look at these guys
• 1:03
Speaker 2: that you know, you've gotten to know very well, and
• 1:06
Speaker 2: something just told me that they weren't going to get in,
• 1:08
Speaker 2: you know, and they just we were determined. And you know,
• 1:11
Speaker 2: Coach Brock he talks about defate, defending every single blade
• 1:14
Speaker 2: of grass. They're never in the end zone till they're
• 1:16
Speaker 2: in the end zone. And that's what we did, and
• 1:18
Speaker 2: we made the play. And I mean, this is pretty exciting.
• 1:21
Speaker 1: Yeah, obviously it's football. Injuries happen at the stage of
• 1:24
Speaker 1: the season, but in the game, getting a couple of
• 1:26
Speaker 1: guys knocked out, so it's someone stepping up. Brett Buckman
• 1:30
Speaker 1: had just one catch coming in. What did you see
• 1:32
Speaker 1: out of Brett here today?
• 1:34
Speaker 2: Well, he's I mean, he was a captain today. He
• 1:36
Speaker 2: earned it. I mean, his blocking has been fabulous. We
• 1:39
Speaker 2: know what kind of receiver is. You know, he had
• 1:41
Speaker 2: to step in a little bit for Skyler. Skyler played
• 1:43
Speaker 2: off and on, but I don't think he was near
• 1:45
Speaker 2: one hundred percent that was a pretty good ankle Sprain.
• 1:49
Speaker 2: You know, you love guys like Brett because they're you know,
• 1:51
Speaker 2: they're all about it. I mean, they're about it. They
• 1:53
Speaker 2: want to win, They're gonna do whatever it takes to win.
• 1:55
Speaker 2: They're selfless. And then a guy's gonna go make a play.
• 1:57
Speaker 2: And then Joey Figano, I mean, you know, he turned
• 2:01
Speaker 2: the ball over and then all of a sudden he
• 2:02
Speaker 2: catches Joe down the sideline and or you know, you
• 2:05
Speaker 2: look at TJ, you know, starting us off in the
• 2:08
Speaker 2: second half with that great play, and you know, there's
• 2:11
Speaker 2: a lot to learn from a game like that, and
• 2:13
Speaker 2: you're fortunate you get to learn it being four and
• 2:15
Speaker 2: two rather than three and three and going to a
• 2:17
Speaker 2: buye with a with a win like that. I mean,
• 2:19
Speaker 2: that's certainly better than going in there getting scored on
• 2:21
Speaker 2: on fourth and one.
• 2:22
Speaker 1: And are you going to be able to keep a
• 2:23
Speaker 1: straight face when you tell Jordan just jump on the
• 2:25
Speaker 1: ball next time and don't try and scoop it.
• 2:27
  Speaker 2: I didn't even I'm going to tell you what. I
• 2:29
Speaker 2: didn't even see the play. All of a sudden he's
• 2:31
Speaker 2: running that way. I was watching the official just to
• 2:34
Speaker 2: see if he put his hand, she Monique put her
• 2:37
Speaker 2: hands up or not so. Thank goodness she didn't.
• 2:40
Speaker 1: Thanks coach, appreciate it.
