- 0:00[SPEAKER_07]: Welcome to Drinking Throw.
- 0:09[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, welcome to Drinking Throw, who's kids.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_09]: Tuesday.
- 0:15[SPEAKER_06]: Tuesday.
- 0:17[SPEAKER_09]: Let's take off the headphones.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_09]: Take off the headphones for a second here.
- 0:23[SPEAKER_09]: Oh god dude, I passed the gas tank.
- 0:28[SPEAKER_09]: Uh, the smorning, the gas station, whatever, man.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_09]: Um, what the fuck is going on, Dan, what the fuck is going on?
- 0:37[SPEAKER_04]: Um, well.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_04]: The reason you're going to see a jump today and probably tomorrow as well, I'd imagine, is that a rand launched a couple of missiles at two of our destroyers, and they said they floated a rumor that they seized one of our submarine, which is retarded, obviously they do that.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_04]: They did fire rockets, I think, or missiles, I don't know which one, IRGC did it at a couple of our ships.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_04]: Nothing got hit, none of our stuff got hit.
- 1:16[SPEAKER_04]: But then we blew up, let's see, we blew up 10 of their oil tankers.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_04]: And because oil is a globally traded commodity, prices are going to go up now, not just from the,
- 1:34[SPEAKER_04]: I guess the unknown, which is never good for any market, but also because the amount of oil just decreased.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_04]: And the advantage of the Seattle goes now, Tripoli estimated that 40 million Americans would drive over the holiday.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_04]: I think that came in quite a bit lower than what they thought.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_04]: Now we may see some relief, Scott, what's his name, Christopher Wright was talking about the other day.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_04]: Somebody asking what he thought was going to happen with gas prices.
- 2:08[SPEAKER_04]: And he said that he thinks they'll probably go down a little bit in the coming weeks because some are driving tens of curtail during that period.
- 2:20[SPEAKER_04]: And of course, you know, everyone's like, oh, he's saying to drive less.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_04]: No, it's not what he was saying.
- 2:27[SPEAKER_04]: He was not saying to drive less.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_04]: He was just pointing out how supply and demand works.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_04]: But so far as I can tell, the administration doesn't have a
- 2:38[SPEAKER_09]: No, uh, gas is notoriously low here in the state of North Carolina.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_09]: Uh, uh, at our gas family, there's one gas station right down the streets here, uh, probably, what you reckon coup, 150 yards away.
- 2:52[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, yeah, 100 yards walking distance, $4 for unleaded, $6 for diesel, and before you come at me on the drinking bros app, which is free on,
- 3:04[SPEAKER_09]: iPhones and Android and all that stuff know that I know we're in a low state and I know that it's a lot higher in other states.
- 3:13[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know what small businesses are going to do.
- 3:18[SPEAKER_09]: I really don't.
- 3:19[SPEAKER_09]: This is unsustainable.
- 3:21[SPEAKER_09]: And if this keeps going up and up and up and up, everything, everything is driven by diesel trucks.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_09]: Everything, every, I think of a fuck of your an apparel company, a hard day of seltzer, meat stick, whatever, dude, chips, free dose.
- 3:40[SPEAKER_09]: you're driven by a diesel car and this is fucking depressing and there is no answer usually we have an answer for this when you were in Columbia getting stem cells um... i had senior fox uh... correspondent charlie gas barino on the show
- 3:59[SPEAKER_09]: Even he was just like, dude, I think this is gonna be a slog until spring.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know when this Iran shit's gonna end.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_09]: I have no idea.
- 4:06[SPEAKER_09]: You have no idea.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_09]: There's no communication from the administration when this is gonna end.
- 4:11[SPEAKER_09]: And the ripple effect of prices in stores of every product.
- 4:16[SPEAKER_09]: Obviously, again, I'll go back to hearty of sellers because we own it.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_09]: Just looking at booze prices going up.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_09]: People are pests and upset.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_09]: We are less than 60 days from the mid-term sear and none of this is great.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_09]: Sogar and Yeti had the best tweets of the day here.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_09]: He said somewhere out there.
- 4:40[SPEAKER_09]: guy who bought a brand new GMC Sierra 1500 with a 96 month loan at 25% interest you just filled up at $6 a gallon for diesel carrying a massive credit card balance who's going home tonight to lose $100 on a single game parlay on the seawks game tonight.
- 5:00[SPEAKER_09]: Bravo.
- 5:02[SPEAKER_09]: Bravo.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_09]: Um, on that guy, but, uh, more importantly, man, I'm just worried about everybody's businesses.
- 5:16[SPEAKER_09]: Um, you know, there's a phrase in Hollywood called Know Your Audience.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_09]: Uh, we know our audience.
- 5:22[SPEAKER_09]: We know who you guys are, and frankly, we're in the same boat here.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_09]: And I don't know what to tell you.
- 5:29[SPEAKER_09]: I honestly don't know what to tell you here, and...
- 5:34[SPEAKER_09]: Because there is no end insight, we're getting conflict and reports out of Iran on what is actually happening.
- 5:39[SPEAKER_09]: Let's take that sub story that you told.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_09]: I heard that same story.
- 5:42[SPEAKER_09]: And it sounded so fucking ridiculous that you dismiss it.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_09]: Is it true?
- 5:46[SPEAKER_09]: I have no fucking idea.
- 5:47[SPEAKER_09]: And I think it is.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_09]: No, Iran does not have the capability to do any of that.
- 5:52[SPEAKER_09]: But they have the capability to drive up gas prices around the fucking world.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_04]: That's, I mean, anybody does.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_04]: It's not just a ran, anybody that's in OPEC or anybody that's in that particular region.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_04]: Or even if, let's say, some South American country wanted to start fucking with Venezuela or something like that.
- 6:12[SPEAKER_04]: They could drive up oil prices to anybody that's in OPEC member.
- 6:15[SPEAKER_04]: Anybody that can affect in OPEC member can drive up global oil prices with any other actions, really.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_09]: But you and I usually sit together before the show and go over what to title it, right?
- 6:25[SPEAKER_09]: And you said, hey, fill up your tanks now, is this going to get worse?
- 6:32[SPEAKER_04]: Yes, go off.
- 6:35[SPEAKER_04]: I think it'll get worse and the near term before it gets better.
- 6:42[SPEAKER_04]: And frankly, I don't think it gets better until after the election, I don't know what they're waiting for but I think Trump is is it seems to me like he's waiting to do something which is odd or maybe they're just tightening the kill chain and they're comfortable that
- 7:02[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, okay, it's fine that they're comfortable with it, but every day Americans aren't we're not I've got a fucking emergency meeting today to 30 this afternoon about what to do about diesel prices man.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, I don't know
- 7:17[SPEAKER_09]: I know a lot of small businesses are having these same exact meetings where you're sitting there and you're like, all right, do we wait on shipments, do you combine shipments?
- 7:26[SPEAKER_09]: Is this going to go down on a week?
- 7:27[SPEAKER_09]: Is this going to go down in two weeks?
- 7:29[SPEAKER_09]: We've been having the same fucking discussion now for six goddamn months and it's just going up and up and up.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 7:35[SPEAKER_09]: It's not getting better.
- 7:38[SPEAKER_09]: So I don't know what to tell you anymore and I think that's a big part of this show in
- 7:48[SPEAKER_09]: But I don't know what to tell you today.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_09]: Play this clip.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_09]: What did Fox say today?
- 7:52[SPEAKER_09]: This is earlier.
- 7:54[SPEAKER_06]: It's prompt that a fierce American response and that is where we begin now on a Wednesday morning.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_06]: I'm Bill Hemer live in New York City.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_06]: We get underway now and get more into you.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_03]: Good morning.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_03]: I'm Dana Perrino.
- 8:03[SPEAKER_03]: This is America's newsroom and we get back to the story again because the U.S. responding to Iran's aggression by destroying five of its oil tankers.
- 8:11[SPEAKER_03]: St.com video shows the tankers on fire and then they sink right into the ocean.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_06]: So now the U.S. says the strikes are punishment for Iran trying and then failing to attack an American warship.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_06]: It is one of the biggest back and forth we have seen since the conflict began about six months ago.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_06]: President Trump on Tuesday reiterating his feelings on the current fight.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_01]: We're right now fighting because we have a certain nation that wanted a nuclear weapon.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_01]: They were very close to getting it.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_09]: and now they have no chance of getting it around will not have a nuclear weapon and they've been punished greatly the conflict looming over republicans as they gather for their first ever midterm convention in Dallas at kicks off today that's right prime time tonight but let's get a go on this for you to do yeah you're good here uh... even trump i look i i i i there's nothing you can really say anymore uh... i'm tired of hearing
- 9:11[SPEAKER_09]: I want prices to go down and whatever the fuck we need to do to do this and I feel like I've said this I don't know four or five times over the course of the last six weeks We got a fucking do it here, but I don't know what can be done Is there a strategy that you think is an effective one there's a strategy that's
- 9:34[SPEAKER_04]: that in 18 months to three years will put us out permanently, permanently outside the reach of the effect of global oil markets.
- 9:47[SPEAKER_04]: And that is the deal we signed last week with Venezuela regarding our strategic reserve, our SPR strategic petroleum reserve.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_04]: we basically have a claim now to what is it like 65 billion billion barrels or something like that that I don't recall what the number was.
- 10:08[SPEAKER_04]: But funneling that into and having a system of funneling that into particularly because we're the only people in the region that can really refine Venezuela's dirty-ass crude oil and we're set up specifically in the Gulf to do that.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_04]: Um, is it, it puts us per, and this is the problem with politics.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_04]: That deal that Trump did, seizing Maduro, keeping Delcy Rodriguez and power.
- 10:36[SPEAKER_04]: Everything that we've done in Venezuela has been an absolute.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_04]: absolute perfect.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_04]: And now signing this deal long term, which is basically a permanent deal.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_04]: Will within the next 18 to 36 months put us permanently beyond the reach of OPEC.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_04]: They'll never be able to fuck with us again in any meaningful way, because in while Venezuela still a member, I don't think they will be for very long.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_04]: Frankly, I think they're going to pull out of OPEC at some point in the near future.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_04]: The reason they haven't yet is because
- 11:09[SPEAKER_04]: we don't want to disrupt the petro-dollar just yet.
- 11:12[SPEAKER_04]: But it's coming and the ability to double or quadruple our SPR on a moment's notice, you know, moment is obviously a hyperbole.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_04]: It takes some time.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_04]: but these global oil prices we've been able to manage it because of our strategic reserve so far we'll be able to not just manage it but make it completely obsolete which changes the political dynamic when a country like Saudi Arabia or Bahrain or Qatar or anybody else over there
- 11:44[SPEAKER_04]: sees a road country like in this is by the way, including a rack or rack doesn't want to deal with any of this bullshit anymore because they want to get to the business and make a money.
- 11:53[SPEAKER_04]: When they see somebody like Iran doing dumb shit and trying to leverage the oil market against one of the powers whether it be Europe or the United States, they're probably not going to be, they won't have the economic capability to just allow it anymore.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_04]: which means they're going to have to develop militaries that are stronger and fuck around up at some point.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_04]: And we might be able to get the fuck out of that region permanently.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think it's like
- 12:19[SPEAKER_04]: delusional or utopian or even white pilled frankly, to think that we might be able to drastically reduce our imprint in the Middle East within the next 10 to 15 years because of this been this way of the deal.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_04]: It's the biggest deal and energy maybe ever in the history of this country.
- 12:40[SPEAKER_04]: But I would say we don't see the real benefit of it until Trump's out of office.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_04]: I agree.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_04]: And I don't know that he personally, I mean, obviously the an honest historian will give him credit for it, but does that matter in 26 and does it matter in 28 when elections happen?
- 12:57[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_04]: I doubt it.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it usually doesn't happen like that.
- 13:02[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, when we do this mid-term show, you know, which we've done every year for 12 years on the show, where I hadn't any it to your 12 year.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_09]: and November.
- 13:12[SPEAKER_09]: I'm going to be just as curious as you are that night and we'll be here with you all night going through it together to see what happens here because what's the alternative?
- 13:25[SPEAKER_09]: you got this fucking bullshit going on on on on Republican side and then you've just got the craziness of the left.
- 13:32[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know what's going to happen.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_09]: I really don't.
- 13:35[SPEAKER_09]: And how pissed off are people about gas prices and affordability right now?
- 13:41[SPEAKER_09]: Because I, as a Republican, am pissed off about this.
- 13:46[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, but I mean, this is, so this is a, it's a good conversation to have, frankly, how, how are you,
- 13:55[SPEAKER_04]: Your pissed off today when the United States doesn't have to spend the amount of money or time or effort that we spend currently in the Middle East when Iran's out of threat anymore, especially in nuclear one one that North Korea has developed into and now we have to take them seriously, whereas we shouldn't have have Clinton had handled that appropriately and before him, HW had handled it appropriately.
- 14:24[SPEAKER_04]: But there's going to be a succession of wins in the future.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_04]: So the question is, do you think, are you able to think about how things are going to be, and some people can't, right?
- 14:37[SPEAKER_04]: Some people can't, and not because they can't do it intellectually, it's because things are too tough for them right now.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_04]: But some people can't put themselves, put their brains into the future,
- 14:52[SPEAKER_04]: This is meaningful for us.
- 14:53[SPEAKER_04]: And I think it's the same as you can tie it up with this whole debate right now that's going on in Republican circles about what is effectively right-wing socialism.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_04]: Vance, I mean, I'm not going to say he stole a plan, but he basically repackaged a plan that Rubio had.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_04]: I think it was in 2018.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_04]: To change the requirements for subsidies, for single mothers, to give a great, a good portion of that or some large portion or how much it is actually, to merit stay at home mothers so they can stay at home, raise their kids, et cetera, et cetera, et cetera.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_04]: And there's a big debate going on about what that is.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_04]: Why can tell you what it is?
- 15:41[SPEAKER_04]: It's right wing socialism, that's what it is.
- 15:46[SPEAKER_04]: uh... and this is the debate right do we care enough about doing the right thing now even though it's gonna cost us so there are kids and grandkids will benefit from the fucking choices we made at even if we struggle now and people are choosing against that frankly by bitching and moaning
- 16:06[SPEAKER_04]: and not think it about the future and about participating in the titillary state and making it bigger.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_04]: And I hear all the arguments.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't actually add any new funding.
- 16:15[SPEAKER_04]: It just taking advantage of something that's been around for 30 years.
- 16:20[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't actually add anything to the budget.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_04]: What it adds are millions, tens of millions of people to the welfare system.
- 16:29[SPEAKER_04]: Just let's use round numbers for this.
- 16:33[SPEAKER_04]: There's a welfare program that has a fixed annual budget of $100 billion, not that much money, the grand scheme of things, and that money supports 1 million people.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_04]: So right now, under this premise, there's a million people who are dependent.
- 16:50[SPEAKER_04]: both an income and security on the state, on government policy, on government policy, specifically, which means it affects the way they vote.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_04]: If you reform this and it spreads the same budget across two million or 10 million people now, the government spending may not have increased, but the number of people who have a direct financial relationship with the state has doubled our 10x.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_04]: The political constituency for this, for maintaining or expanding that system, has now grown.
- 17:23[SPEAKER_04]: And people, more or less, are not going to vote their way out of free money.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_04]: It never happens.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_04]: I've talked about Alexander Taylor's prediction about this in the past.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_04]: I am 100% agree.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_04]: From a political theory perspective,
- 17:36[SPEAKER_04]: There's only one way to describe an increase in socialization.
- 17:41[SPEAKER_04]: And that is fucking socialism.
- 17:45[SPEAKER_04]: Free shit, that's it.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_04]: So unless you are willing to tighten your belt,
- 17:51[SPEAKER_04]: and start to solve these problems through private exchanges, voluntary charity family networks, civil society, churches, whatever it is, then you're fucked.
- 18:00[SPEAKER_04]: And don't, I don't want to hear any of this shit about how, because it benefits conservatives or the nuclear family or any of this stuff that it's somehow good, it's not good.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_04]: It's still not good.
- 18:12[SPEAKER_04]: You are still creating dependency on the state.
- 18:16[SPEAKER_04]: And you've also set a very dangerous precedent.
- 18:21[SPEAKER_04]: And this is available to anybody in Congress, by the way, that moral issues can now be funded by the government, which means when the next democratic administration plus Congress, who controls the purse strings, by the way, the next Congress that gets in, can say, you know what?
- 18:38[SPEAKER_04]: We think that a child general mutilation is a moral benefit to the country, so we're going to take this existing program and extend it over to them.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_04]: Stop giving the state more fucking power.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_04]: It is inappropriate.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_04]: It is inappropriate.
- 18:54[SPEAKER_04]: The argument that the government is also already spending the money, so let's use it to advance conservative goals.
- 18:59[SPEAKER_04]: It's fucking bullshit.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_04]: It still expands a titular state that the defining characteristic isn't just the size of the budget.
- 19:07[SPEAKER_04]: It's the amount of people who depend on the government.
- 19:10[SPEAKER_04]: Every additional family brought to the government transfer program, whether you think it's morally justified or not, increases the number of citizens who's financial well-being depends on political decisions rather than civil society and free exchange.
- 19:24[SPEAKER_04]: It is completely fucked.
- 19:26[SPEAKER_04]: You cannot do this.
- 19:28[SPEAKER_04]: You cannot be okay with this stuff, but it sucks, right?
- 19:31[SPEAKER_04]: I understand why people would, I'm not going to say fall for it, but I understand why people would put aside their principles temporarily and try to engage fully engaged, their cognitive dissonance.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_04]: But let's be really, let's be really frank about how this works.
- 19:51[SPEAKER_04]: It's a $9,000 credit, essentially.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_04]: which costs the taxpayer $19,000 to administer.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_04]: We have $40 trillion in debt.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_04]: None of this is okay.
- 20:05[SPEAKER_04]: None of this is okay.
- 20:07[SPEAKER_04]: So this generation, old millennials, Gen X,
- 20:11[SPEAKER_04]: right now, who are coming into the, uh, the wealth stage of their life, um, uh, and, and progressing some into the late wealth and then early retirement stage are going to have to make some decisions.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_04]: Are you going to go on permanent vacation and keep all your money and by bigger houses than before, every generation before us is downsize when they got into their 60s.
- 20:31[SPEAKER_04]: We're buying, buying bigger houses.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_04]: You can look that shit up, by the way.
- 20:34[SPEAKER_04]: Um, or are we going to think about our kids and our grandkids and the future of our fucking country?
- 20:39[SPEAKER_04]: you're going to make a choice.
- 20:41[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to hoard.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_04]: You're going to abandon your principles for temporary comfort right now, or you're going to think about your fucking kids.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_04]: That's how it's going to be.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_04]: make your fucking choice, but I don't want to hear you try to moralize any of this shit.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_04]: Say what it is.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_04]: Say you're a right-wing socialist and move on.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_04]: So I know who you are.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_04]: Because I don't support any of this stuff.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_09]: All right, Dan, then we get some sponsors to put this shit back.

- 29:16[SPEAKER_09]: So to your points, or to your question, excuse me, about how I'm going to vote in this election.
- 29:22[SPEAKER_09]: Obviously, I'm checking the box for a public in all the way down.
- 29:26[SPEAKER_09]: But when I drove past this today, when I drove past that fucking gas station that I drive past every fucking morning, and I looked at those prices, and then I got fucking 90 tax messages about having this emergency meetings and all this other shit we've had for the last six months, my grandfather always used to say the same thing.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_09]: There's three things that's a recession proof, booze, gambling, and coffee.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_09]: And he's right.
- 29:51[SPEAKER_09]: Those are three things that you won't give up.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_09]: Gambling is because there's a hope for something and a hope for some extra cash and everything else.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_09]: Whether that's not gonna happen or not, who knows?
- 30:01[SPEAKER_09]: Booze, well, that's the drown out your sorrows right now, which a lot of us are fucking doing coffee.
- 30:07[SPEAKER_09]: Can't you rid of that?
- 30:07[SPEAKER_09]: Because that's how we all start our fucking day and then get on throughout the day here.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_09]: Butts.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_09]: I look back at where the show started in 2015-2016-ish with APAC and the APAC T-shirts, all politicians or cons.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_09]: Nobody.
- 30:26[SPEAKER_09]: Politician-wise.
- 30:27[SPEAKER_09]: is working together to solve any of this.
- 30:31[SPEAKER_09]: This literally goes back to what we've been saying on the show 12 years ago.
- 30:37[SPEAKER_09]: Some people would say, hey, what made you switch?
- 30:39[SPEAKER_09]: Well, we had a good run of about 11, 12 months when Trump got in there and fucking shit was rolling and I was like, oh, fuck.
- 30:48[SPEAKER_09]: All right, we finally got somebody in there that's gonna fix all the things he said he was gonna fix.
- 30:57[SPEAKER_09]: cost of living and people staying alive top of the list economy is always always top of my fucking list the other shit's a fucking bonus or alien files or whatever the fuck you want to you want to say here but i know how much this is affecting every single fucking citizen right now and it absolutely sucks we have no plan out of the white house we have no fucking uh... white house press secretary right now to even
- 31:24[SPEAKER_09]: talk about some form of a plan or what we're going to do about this.
- 31:29[SPEAKER_09]: Every day, we're reading shit, whether it's correct or incorrect of what's coming out of Iran.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_09]: I don't think anybody even gives a fuck at this point.
- 31:37[SPEAKER_09]: All we know is the number we see and the number on that receipt as soon as you pull that fucking.
- 31:45[SPEAKER_09]: hose right out of your goddamn car and, uh, and it fucking sucks.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_09]: Uh, for me, it's not just the gas, obviously it's, it's everything else.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_09]: The healthcare system is broken in my opinion.
- 32:00[SPEAKER_09]: It wasn't Republicans who did that, but, uh, Republicans are in office.
- 32:04[SPEAKER_09]: You got to try to find a way to fix it.
- 32:05[SPEAKER_09]: Well, anybody work with you?
- 32:07[SPEAKER_09]: No, no, they're not.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_09]: Uh, the, the
- 32:13[SPEAKER_09]: we have the house, we have the Congress, we can still not get this past.
- 32:18[SPEAKER_09]: Mitch McConnell is, where's the act?
- 32:21[SPEAKER_09]: Where the fuck is he at?
- 32:23[SPEAKER_09]: At this point, secret service should drive up to the hospital and demand to see the fucking body.
- 32:29[SPEAKER_09]: We're past the date anyway.
- 32:31[SPEAKER_09]: So if that was the whole fucking goal of all of this, it was just to get past August 6th, we're a month later.
- 32:36[SPEAKER_04]: Well, you don't wanna make it too suspicious, I suppose.
- 32:38[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think,
- 32:42[SPEAKER_04]: to the, I've heard that to about the A-pack thing.
- 32:46[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think, I've, I've never switched anything on that.
- 32:53[SPEAKER_04]: I support actions, not politicians.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_09]: you by the way, and that's true.
- 32:58[SPEAKER_09]: You haven't.
- 33:00[SPEAKER_09]: I have though.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_09]: I believed in a lot of this shit and again, it was going great until the Iran shit, but we're on, you know, we're seven months deep in this, and it is right before midterms, the four to six weeks thing,
- 33:17[SPEAKER_09]: was a fucking huge mess.
- 33:19[SPEAKER_09]: I think we can all agree on that.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_09]: You can out come out in front of America on a prime time speech and say, hey, we're going to be four to six weeks in Iran and this is going to be awesome.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_09]: What is this tweet now from Trump?
- 33:30[SPEAKER_08]: So this was from two days ago.
- 33:32[SPEAKER_08]: OK, it was a Trump two tools were posted says oil prices will drop precipitously, like everything else is dropping, but more when we win the war with Iran, $3 a gallon, but ultimately below $2 a gallon.
- 33:44[SPEAKER_04]: It will all happen quickly and around we'll never have a nuclear weapon maga present DJ okay, so here's this is politics right What he's saying is a hundred percent true?
- 33:56[SPEAKER_04]: And I think most people who are honest even if they dislike what's going on right now would admit that that's true So what saying that right now doesn't make anybody's lives easier Can you treat it?
- 34:11[SPEAKER_04]: This is this is a hard sell
- 34:14[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and I will.
- 34:18[SPEAKER_04]: I support it.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_04]: I think we're doing what I think we're doing the right thing right now.
- 34:22[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think that this, I mean, I've said this the whole time they've been in office.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_04]: I think this admin sucks at messaging.
- 34:28[SPEAKER_04]: Aside from a few clever speeches from Rubio, they've been absolute dockship on explaining what the fuck the long-term consequences of any this stuff is or the mechanics of it.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_04]: Now some of that might be games in this ship, maybe they don't want to give away the plot.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe part of it is the old rope adult making
- 34:48[SPEAKER_04]: and they're just leaning into it and blah, blah, blah while they're actually getting stuff done behind the scenes, one of those things we noticed through because over the last two months while everybody was whining and crying, myself included to some degree about us not doing shit and a ran for a little while.
- 35:06[SPEAKER_04]: DevGrew is out there swimming in the fucking street of Hormuz and they took down every mine.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_04]: It was out there.
- 35:11[SPEAKER_04]: They blew them all up under water.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_04]: Took them two and a half months.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_04]: I think to do it all.
- 35:16[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 35:17[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sure there's stuff going on right now that we don't know about that's going to change the frame for us when we reexamine this later.
- 35:24[SPEAKER_04]: When Trump...
- 35:26[SPEAKER_04]: when Trump's actions or anyone's frankly decentralized.
- 35:29[SPEAKER_04]: And that's including breaking us away from globalism or even global control, more broadly speaking, with regard to OPEC or anything of our economy.
- 35:37[SPEAKER_04]: I support that shit fully, but he's not even a conservative, right?
- 35:41[SPEAKER_04]: He's a Democrat, and he always was.
- 35:43[SPEAKER_04]: That's fine.
- 35:46[SPEAKER_04]: Trump comes from a time when Democrats weren't a threat to us, it was a compliment to conservatism, and he doesn't operate like a Democrat anymore.
- 35:55[SPEAKER_04]: He operates like a guy who's trying to rebuild something that's been broken.
- 35:58[SPEAKER_04]: You have to understand it from that frame to understand what he's doing.
- 36:03[SPEAKER_04]: That is in a reason not to hold him accountable.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, I get yelled at by these turds in the administration for yelling at him all the time, but the things that are going
- 36:16[SPEAKER_04]: re-industrialization and with currency manipulation and with oil specifically, energy specifically are changing the way that other people can come at us.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_04]: It's changing the way it's he's eliminating the vulnerability that has kept us active in the Middle East for 75 years.
- 36:43[SPEAKER_04]: We've been over there for 75 years, fucking around, it started with the OSS and CIA back in the day, but it's gone hot militarily, how many times.
- 36:52[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, starting in a major way, death-wise for us in Bay Root with the Marine Corps bombings, but we've
- 37:01[SPEAKER_04]: We've been engaged over there in a serious way for over 40 years, losing dudes, 1,000 just to Iran, not including everybody in Iraq and Afghanistan and everywhere else, all the special operators and intelligence community people that we've lost in Syria and everywhere else too.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_04]: The reason that they've done this is because even a small faction over there can interrupt
- 37:31[SPEAKER_04]: three years from now that will no longer be the case and Trump did it his will and his willingness to take all this heat right now and the fucking team he put around him accomplished that and I appreciate it.
- 37:43[SPEAKER_04]: I support that shit.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's great that we're doing it.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_04]: But
- 37:48[SPEAKER_04]: that no, this, it's a hard sell politically.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_04]: It is, and how, how do Americans can stay alive?
- 37:54[SPEAKER_04]: It's how the businesses stay.
- 37:55[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, you, you've got to be, you've got to be smart about it.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_04]: And there's no perfect time to do something like that.
- 38:02[SPEAKER_04]: Obviously, when, when it started, we were 38 trillion a debt.
- 38:07[SPEAKER_04]: That probably wasn't a great time, but was there ever going to be a good time?
- 38:10[SPEAKER_04]: Probably not.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, it's just a hard sell politically to tell people, hey, shit's going to be rough for a while, but you have to trust me.
- 38:20[SPEAKER_04]: That's good luck in a country like America, full of people who are retarded and in a system where we reelect the Congress every two to six years, completely, and where we reelect the executive every four years.
- 38:38[SPEAKER_04]: It's a hard sell politically.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_04]: So, he's trying to get as much done as he can in the shortest amount of time.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_04]: And I support it.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_04]: I think that Trump's doing the right thing and most of this stuff.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_04]: But still, I'm not going to sit here and make excuses for people.
- 38:54[SPEAKER_04]: What I will say is that regardless of what's going on in DC.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_04]: Because there are no solutions for the bigger problems, for the debt, there's no solution for that.
- 39:05[SPEAKER_04]: Because the debt is primarily source of security, which we've relied on.
- 39:11[SPEAKER_04]: It is sources of security, which, by the way, is in solvent in six years.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_04]: It's source of security, unless they do something drastic.
- 39:18[SPEAKER_04]: It's source of security, it is Medicare Medicaid.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_04]: and the interest now are debt, obviously, but Medicare Medicaid and entitlements account for half of our debt, or half of our budget, $3 trillion out of the six or so we spend a year comes from Medicaid Medicare and welfare.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_04]: This is unacceptable.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_04]: And there's only one way to solve that.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_04]: The government won't do it.
- 39:42[SPEAKER_04]: It will have to be you.
- 39:43[SPEAKER_04]: You will have to start doing that job.
- 39:45[SPEAKER_04]: You as an individual, whether you're an aging person that has kids who are going to have kids of their own and sticking around them and downsizing your house.
- 39:56[SPEAKER_04]: Right?
- 39:57[SPEAKER_04]: And it's going to interrupt your experience on this earth as a human being.
- 40:00[SPEAKER_04]: All the great people that we recognize in human history, where were they?
- 40:04[SPEAKER_04]: Were they sitting in a fucking tower on vacation somewhere in their latter years?
- 40:08[SPEAKER_04]: Or they're grinding themselves into fucking dust to build something better for their kids and grandkids.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe that's not who we are anymore.
- 40:15[SPEAKER_04]: But if it's not who we are anymore, the none of this fucking matters anyways.
- 40:18[SPEAKER_04]: If you're not willing to grind yourself into fucking dust for your kids and your grandkids in your country,
- 40:26[SPEAKER_04]: then who are we?
- 40:28[SPEAKER_04]: I think it's an important question to ask because if you don't believe that, if you don't believe it's worthwhile to do that, then you shouldn't even be talking about politics.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_04]: Just go live your life.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_04]: Go fucking find some fentanyl patches, stick them on the side of your neck, and go out just like have a good time for the rest of your life, do whatever you want.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_04]: But don't talk about moralism or politics like you've got some kind of fucking principle because the principal position is to put yourself fucking last and put your kids and your grandkids and everybody else first.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_04]: And again, unless you're willing to do that, we'll never, unless you are willing to build associations and personal relationships.
- 41:07[SPEAKER_04]: I've said this for years on this show.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_04]: Get solved problems before the government shows up.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_04]: Nobody has their hand out when the government shows up.
- 41:14[SPEAKER_04]: They have no power there.
- 41:16[SPEAKER_04]: The government cannot do what you can do.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_04]: It costs them $19,000 to give you nine.
- 41:21[SPEAKER_04]: It cost you nine.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_04]: It cost them double what it cost you to do the same thing.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_04]: That's why we're in debt.
- 41:29[SPEAKER_04]: That's why we'll always be in debt.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_04]: If the government is in charge of administering all these programs, if the churches and you specifically, don't find friends and go help feed people, go help keep people from losing all their shit or whatever it is, then we're fucked.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_04]: Because it's the only reason we existed as a country in the first place.
- 41:53[SPEAKER_09]: You can't right now.
- 41:54[SPEAKER_09]: Interest rates for two fucking high houses.
- 41:57[SPEAKER_04]: This is, I'm not talking about right now.
- 41:59[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know about for the last 25 years that boomers have been buying progressively larger houses in the retirement.
- 42:04[SPEAKER_04]: Totally.
- 42:05[SPEAKER_09]: But if you look at the interest rates for the last five and a half years, they've been the same.
- 42:09[SPEAKER_09]: That's not,
- 42:11[SPEAKER_09]: that has nothing to do with it.
- 42:12[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, but you want to try to sell your house to the decent price and all that other shit and you can't, no one can.
- 42:19[SPEAKER_09]: I'll go back to that tweet, too.
- 42:21[SPEAKER_04]: That you're proving my point, who fucking cares?
- 42:24[SPEAKER_04]: What do you mean?
- 42:25[SPEAKER_04]: Sell it, get rid of it, but you've already made, if you buy your house 10 years ago, you've already made money, sell it and get the fuck out.
- 42:31[SPEAKER_04]: If you're sitting around waiting to get the maximum value out of the house you're living in, while the people, particularly in your family, around your struggling, I think you can guess what I would say about it.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_09]: No, I understand that.
- 42:44[SPEAKER_09]: But other people are going to look at the industry.
- 42:46[SPEAKER_09]: It's going to be like, well, shit, this fucking sucks.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_09]: As a writer, I always look at even these stupid fucking true social tweets.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_09]: I always look at words and how everything is written.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_09]: And in this sentence right here, oil prices is Trump, oil prices will drop precipitously, like everything else is dropping, but more when we win the war with Iran.
- 43:10[SPEAKER_09]: The key word in this entire tweet is the word when.
- 43:15[SPEAKER_09]: and no one has a fucking answer for when.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_09]: And that is what we're all worried about.
- 43:23[SPEAKER_09]: When?
- 43:23[SPEAKER_09]: When is this going to die down?
- 43:25[SPEAKER_09]: When are we gonna win this war with Iran?
- 43:28[SPEAKER_09]: When our price is going to drop?
- 43:32[SPEAKER_09]: And I don't know what to tell people, man.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_09]: And it's like, you know, I'm fucking sleepless.
- 43:40[SPEAKER_09]: worried, scared, all that other shits, and I don't have the answer.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_09]: In the meantime, some of the other shit that I want to happen, like to say, back to everything else, you get five, six people that won't even show up to fucking do it.
- 43:54[SPEAKER_09]: You got a speaker at the house, you got a fucking leader in the phone here, and won't even bring that to a fucking vote.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_09]: Rubio, to your points earlier, is the only one out on the trail, at least making
- 44:09[SPEAKER_09]: a sense of everything that's going on in a clear and decisive manner here.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_09]: Press play on this clip.
- 44:18[SPEAKER_02]: But in the other American public attention, focused on the latest status of affairs in Iran, can you speak about the U.S. strikes on the Iranian tankers and explain what the back report has been the last 24 hours?
- 44:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the back and forth is pretty straightforward.
- 44:34[SPEAKER_00]: And that is that Iran continues to try to hit U.S. naval ships.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_00]: And for every time they do that or try to do that, they're going to lose tankers.
- 44:42[SPEAKER_00]: And I think you'll see that again today.
- 44:47[SPEAKER_09]: So, we hit more tankers.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_09]: Everybody else hits tankers and everything else, and then that drives the oil up even higher and higher and higher.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_09]: These videos have been declassified by the DOD here, hitting these tankers, you can press play on this clip here.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_09]: And it looks fun.
- 45:09[SPEAKER_09]: They've got good score behind it and all the other shits here.
- 45:15[SPEAKER_09]: What the fuck is the result of this and one of the prices going to go down?
- 45:20[SPEAKER_09]: And no one has any answer for us whatsoever.
- 45:22[SPEAKER_09]: It'd be great if there was somebody in the White House who would just communicate this on a daily basis.
- 45:27[SPEAKER_09]: Hey man, here's what we're doing.
- 45:28[SPEAKER_09]: Here's what we're working on.
- 45:30[SPEAKER_09]: It's going to get better, x, y, and z.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_09]: Instead, we don't have any of that.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_09]: and we're less than 60 days before the mid-series.
- 45:36[SPEAKER_04]: That would be nice, however, can says why not loot their tankers.
- 45:42[SPEAKER_04]: Those were not full tankers.
- 45:45[SPEAKER_04]: Iran hasn't been able to export oil in a long time.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_04]: Also, we've stolen, like, I think the last I heard from somebody's mind is that we've stolen 50 million barrels of oil from Iran in the past six months.
- 46:00[SPEAKER_04]: So we are doing that.
- 46:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, it'd be great to hear about that stuff.
- 46:07[SPEAKER_04]: It's a complicated conversation.
- 46:09[SPEAKER_04]: How much of that can we tell the public before it interrupts what we're doing?
- 46:15[SPEAKER_04]: Overseason.
- 46:16[SPEAKER_04]: And that's a fair question to ask, but again, it doesn't make anybody's grocery bill go down and it doesn't make gasoline cheaper.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_04]: And I'm not like, that's a...
- 46:33[SPEAKER_04]: I believe in certain things.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_04]: And if one of my children were in literal danger, I would put those.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_04]: beliefs aside and do whatever I had to do to protect them, which is why we force people to recuse themselves in those situations, right?
- 46:50[SPEAKER_04]: Like if I was a judge and my kid was standing in front of me, am I going to judge them fairly?
- 46:54[SPEAKER_04]: Fuck no.
- 46:56[SPEAKER_04]: Because it's my kid, which is why you have to step aside and let somebody else handle that situation, because no one person is more important than the whole, and that's the discipline.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_04]: I don't, it's not that I don't empathize with people who are like, fuck all that, I gotta do this.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_04]: There is a solution to it though.
- 47:20[SPEAKER_04]: You, if you really believe that stuff, go find somebody the tongueery and feed them.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_04]: do it.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_04]: If you're Congress, instead of trying to repurpose this giant fucking bloated budget towards right-wing socialist causes, why don't you just do a recision package, which you can do and you don't need the fucking, you don't need 60 votes in the Senate for it.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_04]: It's an upper-down vote and you control both houses.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_04]: They could do a recision vote and defund that program entirely right now.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_04]: They're choosing not to.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_04]: Why?
- 47:58[SPEAKER_04]: Who is day by the way?
- 47:59[SPEAKER_04]: Congress.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_04]: Okay.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_04]: Instead they're instead of saying let's use the tools that are disposal to cut people off of these programs to get rid of this fucking bloated waste bullshit.
- 48:16[SPEAKER_04]: Let's bring let's keep the budget the same.
- 48:18[SPEAKER_04]: Let's bring more people in and then two, three, four, five, ten years from now.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_04]: I was like, oh, all these new people are on me.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_04]: We're just going to have to increase the budget now.
- 48:27[SPEAKER_04]: But you, if you for one second don't think that that's what's happening, that it's not a Trojan horse, then you don't really belong in the conversation, because you haven't been paying attention.
- 48:38[SPEAKER_09]: Is that the average cost of a daycare right now?
- 48:41[SPEAKER_08]: This is the story on Fox news about the more you're talking about about Yeah, hey, that's it.
- 48:48[SPEAKER_09]: This is true Shit, you want to take your kid to fucking preschool and all that other shit.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 48:54[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that's right that numbers right in the top left In combination to a four daycare
- 49:02[SPEAKER_09]: to a five, I don't agree with that, but the medium family income is about a hundred.
- 49:07[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I mean, that that seems about rights.
- 49:11[SPEAKER_09]: But I think a lot of the conversations that I'm hearing and having with people is just the distrust in politics.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_04]: All together.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_04]: You should never trust politicians.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, think about, you just brought up another great point, childcare is cost prohibitive.
- 49:34[SPEAKER_04]: Regulation is the primary driver of the increase in child care costs, the primary driver.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_04]: The biggest cost is actually staffed to child ratios, states require a maximum number of children per caregiver, for example, regardless of their age.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_04]: Right, now most of these are younger kids.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_04]: But most centers simply can't enroll more children without hiring more employees, which means, now you're getting into thresholds because of things like Obamacare and payroll taxes and all this other stuff that increase instead of leveling out or even going down as you employ more people, which doesn't make any fucking sense.
- 50:19[SPEAKER_04]: Why the hell are we paying a penalty
- 50:22[SPEAKER_04]: Now, some regulations improve child safety and shit like that.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_04]: We should have background checks and things like that.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_04]: But restrictive staffing ratios or credential requirements for a 25-year-old woman to take care of a fucking three-year-old or three-year-olds is retarded.
- 50:46[SPEAKER_04]: You don't need a license to do that.
- 50:48[SPEAKER_04]: Most of you,
- 50:51[SPEAKER_04]: were baby sat by 11 year olds who are girls when you were fucking growing up.
- 50:55[SPEAKER_04]: I know I was.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_04]: I thought she was like 20 years old.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_04]: So then I'm like saw her as an adult.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_04]: I'm like, you're fucking, you were baby sitting me.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_04]: You're an idiot.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you're like three years old.
- 51:05[SPEAKER_04]: Uh, that's how it was for all of human history.
- 51:08[SPEAKER_04]: your family stayed close to you and the fucking young girls in the neighborhood came over and watched you for $10 an hour.
- 51:15[SPEAKER_04]: And now you got to have a fucking degree in a certification for why?
- 51:19[SPEAKER_04]: For what?
- 51:20[SPEAKER_04]: Get the fuck outta here, man.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_04]: It's just another example.
- 51:24[SPEAKER_04]: Go find, if you've got young kids, particularly that are going into their
- 51:33[SPEAKER_04]: tween years to teen years man make them take one of those jobs make them baby set make them go mode lawns in the neighborhood or set up a fucking lemonade stand or something like that just do something that benefits that community get them involved in it now because it's the only way that we do any of this anymore
- 51:51[SPEAKER_04]: It's the only way we do any of this anymore.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_04]: This fucking, it's just insane.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_04]: The something like 50% of the cost of child care is regulates work costs.
- 52:10[SPEAKER_09]: What are those regulations exactly?
- 52:12[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, what is that?
- 52:13[SPEAKER_09]: Like, we all hear that.
- 52:15[SPEAKER_09]: And it's all applied to pretty much everything we do in life, including beef and all that other shit that's regulations.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_04]: So beyond, beyond just the staffing requirements, which doesn't really make any sense.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_04]: If,
- 52:31[SPEAKER_04]: If one person can take care of five, this is the Pythagorean theorem, kind of, right?
- 52:38[SPEAKER_04]: If one person can take care of five, the state says, well, two people can take care of ten.
- 52:42[SPEAKER_04]: Well, is that true?
- 52:43[SPEAKER_04]: Or can two people take care of twelve, right?
- 52:47[SPEAKER_04]: It's math, folks.
- 52:49[SPEAKER_04]: It doesn't.
- 52:50[SPEAKER_04]: If it takes one guy eight hours to paint a house and the other guy five hours to paint a house, how long does it take him to paint the house together?
- 52:55[SPEAKER_04]: Anybody?
- 52:57[SPEAKER_04]: Four hours.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_04]: So there is, it's a map from, but the other regulations are because, and I think, who is it, Emily in the chat made it, because they call it a school, and the school gets subsidies from the government.
- 53:16[SPEAKER_04]: when they do that.
- 53:17[SPEAKER_04]: But to call it a school, you have to have licensing requirements, everybody that works there.
- 53:23[SPEAKER_04]: You have to have mandatory state fucking training for it for no reason.
- 53:27[SPEAKER_04]: You have to have certain facility standards that don't make any sense where footage requirements, insurance, which whatever, I mean, I wouldn't, I think that's dumb.
- 53:37[SPEAKER_04]: They're curriculum standards for pre-K. Correctulum standards.
- 53:42[SPEAKER_04]: Are you fucking kidding me?
- 53:43[SPEAKER_04]: They can't shit on their own yet.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_04]: The curriculum is maybe teach them that.
- 53:49[SPEAKER_04]: And there is no standard.
- 53:50[SPEAKER_04]: God fucking damn it, man.
- 53:51[SPEAKER_04]: Um, and those companies go out of business all the time.
- 53:52[SPEAKER_04]: They go out of business all the time.
- 53:53[SPEAKER_04]: And, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh uh, uh uh, uh uh, uh uh, uh uh, uh uh, uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh uh
- 54:03[SPEAKER_04]: the turnover costs more money, the start-up costs costs more money, all the shit costs money, and none of it actually goes to the kid.
- 54:13[SPEAKER_04]: At no point does all this regulatory shit except for the health-based stuff.
- 54:20[SPEAKER_04]: do anything for the kid.
- 54:22[SPEAKER_04]: There's no curriculum that you need to know to fucking watch a four-year-old.
- 54:25[SPEAKER_04]: I watch one every day and I don't know shit about kids.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_04]: All I know is that he's, he needs to know stuff and he asks me questions and I try to tell him what's going on and they keep him from hitting his head.
- 54:39[SPEAKER_04]: That's like 90% of it.
- 54:40[SPEAKER_04]: It's the keeping from hitting his head.
- 54:43[SPEAKER_04]: Jesus fucking Christ.
- 54:44[SPEAKER_09]: And on the other the other side of this too, uh, and we'll go I'll go to the left side of this to democratic wise.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_09]: Um,
- 54:52[SPEAKER_09]: The other reason people are feeling not so great about politicians and everything else, you have all this fraud and waste in Minnesota, California, all these other fucking places, and they're not doing anything about it.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_04]: Well, that's the other part that makes it cost-perhibitive.
- 55:10[SPEAKER_04]: So, that's Jack and a poll difference.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_04]: And I mean, not just the price that
- 55:16[SPEAKER_04]: individuals are paying for child care, but the amount that we're subsidizing through welfare is we do all this stuff regulatory wise, restrictive staffing requirements, all of these rules
- 55:45[SPEAKER_04]: reduce the supply of child care, the amount of people who are qualified to do it, increases the price that's supplied to man, child development experts, almost unilaterally argue that lower ratios improve supervision, fine, whatever, so it's, there's some benefit to it.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_04]: But what is the benefit worth all this is a question, and then all these other regulatory stuff that doesn't actually impact the child.
- 56:11[SPEAKER_04]: Well, here's what we do.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_04]: Regulation increases the cost and government response, because they've now stepped into this, the thing that they have no business being involved in.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_04]: The government, there's nothing in the constitution that says that you have to get permission from the government to let somebody watch your fucking child.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_04]: Jesus Christ, they respond by creating subsidies and tax credits and voucher programs and all this other bullshit.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_04]: to pay for it.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_04]: And that goes, that comes out of somebody's pocket.
- 56:41[SPEAKER_04]: Look, having children is great.
- 56:46[SPEAKER_04]: I encourage it.
- 56:47[SPEAKER_04]: I enjoy it myself.
- 56:48[SPEAKER_04]: It's noble.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_04]: It is necessary being a state at home.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_04]: Mother is great if you can do it.
- 56:54[SPEAKER_04]: It does not create a claim on your neighbor's property.
- 56:57[SPEAKER_04]: You're not entitled to their payment or property because of a choice that you made.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_04]: But that's what you expect.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_04]: That's what you expect out of not you people, but that's what people expect out of that.
- 57:11[SPEAKER_04]: And then when you can't deliver on it, when you can't deliver on that expectation, who comes in the government?
- 57:17[SPEAKER_04]: I'm here to help, boys, give me 20 grand and I'll give him 10.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_04]: I'm sorry, we're the other 10 go.
- 57:23[SPEAKER_04]: Oh, to this, this, this, and this, get the fuck outta here, man, absolutely not.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_09]: And what I can understand is why,
- 57:32[SPEAKER_09]: why people are still voting for that as well.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_09]: Like, I don't get it.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_09]: And it's costing the country billions and billions of dollars.
- 57:40[SPEAKER_09]: Like, I hate to say it.
- 57:42[SPEAKER_09]: But let's say Trump came live on air here in an hour and just said, you know what?
- 57:48[SPEAKER_09]: I'm gonna use the entire military and patty wagons and all this other shit and get these fucking illegals out of the goddamn country.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_09]: And clean this up tomorrow.
- 57:58[SPEAKER_09]: I wouldn't care.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_09]: I would not fucking care.
- 58:01[SPEAKER_09]: I don't care about your fucking credentials or a fair and just you, I don't care about any of that shit.
- 58:10[SPEAKER_09]: I think that would help a lot of this, a lot of this at the end of the day.
- 58:14[SPEAKER_09]: High rents, high housing prices, high fucking daycare, high all of it, dude.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_09]: Get these people the fuck out of our country, but we can't do that either.
- 58:25[SPEAKER_09]: Trump has done great at this.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_09]: If you believe the numbers, he's gotten three million illegals out.
- 58:31[SPEAKER_09]: Problem is Biden led in 2020.
- 58:34[SPEAKER_09]: Still got a 17 million more to go, and there's only two and a half years left here.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_09]: So it's got to extend into the same party.
- 58:44[SPEAKER_09]: Are they're going to let the floodgates open back up again because nobody else will vote for them.
- 58:48[SPEAKER_09]: The reason why everybody's voting for them is because they're getting free shit.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_09]: We had all of this through the beginning with the House, the Congress, the presidency, all of it, and it was all fucking rolling, and there was just one fucking mistake at the end of the day, and I don't know what it's going to come in.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_04]: I mean, it wasn't just one mistake.
- 59:10[SPEAKER_04]: A ran thing is driven up oil prices and all that comes with that, but mortgage rates weren't going down.
- 59:16[SPEAKER_04]: There was no sign of that going down.
- 59:19[SPEAKER_04]: The debt was already locked for this year.
- 59:23[SPEAKER_04]: The debt was going up to where it is now, no matter what.
- 59:26[SPEAKER_04]: There was still more and more people joining the welfare system.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_04]: That was all happening.
- 59:33[SPEAKER_04]: The thing that happened now is that the middle class is feeling of an immediate financial crunch.
- 59:39[SPEAKER_04]: So all the other problems have come into greater relief for them.
- 59:43[SPEAKER_04]: Relief has not, they've been relieved by, but relief has in the goddamn topographical map.
- 59:48[SPEAKER_04]: You can see it better now.
- 59:49[SPEAKER_04]: You can see all the struggle that everybody else is experiencing now or that other people rather were experiencing now.
- 59:56[SPEAKER_04]: So it's real to you now.
- 59:57[SPEAKER_04]: But the struggle was already there.
- 1:00:02[SPEAKER_04]: The current struggle that people are going through is has two effects.
- 1:00:07[SPEAKER_04]: One, it brings the long-term fuck that we are integrator relief, but it also kind of makes you want to dismiss that because it's so fucked up now, it's just kind of ironic to be honest.
- 1:00:20[SPEAKER_04]: How about that?
- 1:00:26[SPEAKER_04]: You pile on things, things are very uncomfortable right now.
- 1:00:29[SPEAKER_04]: It's a lot easier to ignore shit when you're doing okay.
- 1:00:33[SPEAKER_04]: Now that things aren't okay, you're like, well, fuck, now we gotta deal with this too.
- 1:00:36[SPEAKER_04]: The debt seems very far away until you start looking at your own personal debt.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_04]: You're like, God damn, how are we ever gonna get out of this?
- 1:00:42[SPEAKER_04]: That's what the brain thinks, right?
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_04]: But then you have to shut that out, because
- 1:00:48[SPEAKER_04]: When things reach a certain pain threshold, the mind rebels at the idea of the next generation.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_04]: It's a thing that people have always had to contend with.
- 1:00:58[SPEAKER_04]: We were just a stronger people in the past.
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_04]: We were a stronger people in the past, but many, many people have warned about exactly what we're fucking going through right now.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_04]: Um, you can listen to Citizen today, uh, Tokville predicted all of this.
- 1:01:14[SPEAKER_04]: He predicted to a fucking T. What is currently happening in, uh, what has been happening rather for the last 100 years in, uh, American society.
- 1:01:26[SPEAKER_04]: What he didn't have a word for at the time, but people started to call soft despotism.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_04]: if you read so he kept writing in democracy in America and volume two book four chapter six if you look it up.
- 1:01:47[SPEAKER_04]: He says in a new rule multitude of men all equal and alike and suddenly endeavoring to procure the petty and poultry pleasures with which they let their lives.
- 1:01:56[SPEAKER_04]: That's how he opens everything.
- 1:01:58[SPEAKER_04]: This is written before phones or screens or doom scrolling or any of that shit.
- 1:02:03[SPEAKER_04]: He got there by reasoning what men do when nothing larger of them is asked when there's purposeless men.
- 1:02:10[SPEAKER_04]: He's this is an 1840 he wrote this subset.
- 1:02:14[SPEAKER_04]: Each one, quote, living apart, is as a stranger to the fate of all the rest and his children and his private friends constitute to him the whole of mankind.
- 1:02:23[SPEAKER_04]: And then finished with, if his Kendra had still remained to him, he may be said at any rate to have lost his country.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_04]: This is the man he's describing.
- 1:02:32[SPEAKER_04]: A good man, one who lives today, who loves his kid, kids, loves his friends, minds his own business.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_04]: And Tokfill says that man has lost his country already.
- 1:02:45[SPEAKER_04]: And at the center of all of it, above this race of Ben stands in a
- 1:02:53[SPEAKER_04]: That power is absolute, minute, regular, provident and mild.
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_04]: It would be like the authority of a parent, if like that authority, its object was to prepare meant for manhood, but it seeks on the contrary to keep them in perpetual childhood.
- 1:03:08[SPEAKER_04]: This is a fact about legitimate authority.
- 1:03:11[SPEAKER_04]: It works towards its own end, always.
- 1:03:14[SPEAKER_04]: Legitimate authority always tries to work itself out of a job.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_04]: As soon as a government program starts and starts hiring people to form it, it has an immediate and also long-term interest and never solving that problem.
- 1:03:32[SPEAKER_04]: There are people who have worked in DC on the exact same problem for their entire careers and have never solved it.
- 1:03:40[SPEAKER_09]: And I don't know if they will.
- 1:03:41[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know that you have the numbers on either side or both or any of it.
- 1:03:46[SPEAKER_09]: What I can tell you is the heaviness of whatever the American is feeling right now.
- 1:03:53[SPEAKER_09]: And I can tell you, I haven't felt
- 1:03:56[SPEAKER_09]: heavy as far as sleeping and stress and everything else since 08's, I was running out of production company back in 08.
- 1:04:05[SPEAKER_09]: So like this job right here is never really changed for me just in different forms, be it movie or TVs or podcast or whatever it is.
- 1:04:13[SPEAKER_09]: And 08 was the last time everything felt this heavy.
- 1:04:21[SPEAKER_09]: to where you wonder, where's the light at the end of the tunnel?
- 1:04:26[SPEAKER_09]: And again, I'm not fucking black-pilled by everything that's going on.
- 1:04:29[SPEAKER_09]: There's always hard times throughout human history in America, and all that other shit in plus, what is the alternative?
- 1:04:36[SPEAKER_09]: Is this other fucking crazy shit?
- 1:04:38[SPEAKER_09]: Do I want all of that to go on again?
- 1:04:39[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely not.
- 1:04:41[SPEAKER_09]: What did she call it?
- 1:04:42[SPEAKER_09]: woke one the other day.
- 1:04:43[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, yeah, we took things too far.
- 1:04:45[SPEAKER_09]: We went woke one for AOC.
- 1:04:47[SPEAKER_09]: But it's got to be figured out.
- 1:04:51[SPEAKER_09]: And unfortunately, when Charlie was on, we were talking about this slog that's probably going to go on at the spring.
- 1:05:00[SPEAKER_09]: I think he's right.
- 1:05:01[SPEAKER_09]: I really do because you got the midterms coming up.
- 1:05:05[SPEAKER_09]: Those people don't get in until the end of January.
- 1:05:08[SPEAKER_09]: They don't get sworn in and all their other shits.
- 1:05:12[SPEAKER_09]: And I think you're looking at spring.
- 1:05:14[SPEAKER_09]: Interest rates might go up before the end of the year.
- 1:05:17[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know what your prediction is on that.
- 1:05:19[SPEAKER_09]: I believe it will.
- 1:05:20[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I believe it will as well.
- 1:05:22[SPEAKER_09]: And it's going to be tough right now.
- 1:05:26[SPEAKER_09]: And we're going through some tough times.
- 1:05:28[SPEAKER_09]: And I truly don't know what's going to happen on November 3rd.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_09]: I really don't.
- 1:05:31[SPEAKER_09]: When you guys tune in that night,
- 1:05:34[SPEAKER_09]: fuck, yes, we'll be announcing it, everything that's going on.
- 1:05:37[SPEAKER_09]: But I'll be as keyed in as you guys are.
- 1:05:39[SPEAKER_09]: I don't believe any of these polls.
- 1:05:41[SPEAKER_09]: I'm starting to believe prediction mark.
- 1:05:44[SPEAKER_09]: It's more than the god damn polls for Christ's sex, because that's people's actual money on it like calcium.
- 1:05:49[SPEAKER_09]: I mean, you know,
- 1:05:51[SPEAKER_08]: I don't believe it.
- 1:05:52[SPEAKER_08]: I mean, if you look at like, you know, the French escahong race, if you're willing to, why would you be willing to lose money to, if you see it as an investment, I'll say that.
- 1:06:05[SPEAKER_04]: You think so?
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 1:06:06[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 1:06:07[SPEAKER_08]: No.
- 1:06:08[SPEAKER_08]: And I mean, the people doing the predicting are predicting based off of the polls, you know?
- 1:06:12[SPEAKER_08]: So.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_09]: Right.
- 1:06:13[SPEAKER_09]: Well, and also hopes and dreams, or it could be outsiders.
- 1:06:16[SPEAKER_09]: We have no idea.
- 1:06:17[SPEAKER_09]: Right.
- 1:06:18[SPEAKER_09]: We have no idea.
- 1:06:19[SPEAKER_09]: And because it's not Vegas, there's no house, there's no anything, right?
- 1:06:22[SPEAKER_09]: It's just a guess.
- 1:06:23[SPEAKER_09]: All of it's just a guess at the end of the day.
- 1:06:26[SPEAKER_09]: But you would think with people's real money on it, you're like, well, shit.
- 1:06:31[SPEAKER_09]: It might be closer than what we think.
- 1:06:35[SPEAKER_09]: And then you get to the other crazy shit that's going on, that nobody can really explain.
- 1:06:39[SPEAKER_09]: Why is the stock market through the fucking roof?
- 1:06:41[SPEAKER_09]: Don't know.
- 1:06:43[SPEAKER_09]: Why is Apple coming out with a fucking $2,000 phone today?
- 1:06:47[SPEAKER_09]: Don't know.
- 1:06:48[SPEAKER_09]: That flip phone finally came out by the way.
- 1:06:51[SPEAKER_09]: I heard somebody hit me up in the background over listeners if you want to pull it up.
- 1:06:56[SPEAKER_09]: The fucking thing is going to be over two grams and Dan, you had said something really pointed a long time ago, well, everybody wants everything now, right?
- 1:07:05[SPEAKER_09]: They're going to fucking put it on the card and just kind of write off.
- 1:07:08[SPEAKER_09]: Dude, I've actually done the opposite.
- 1:07:09[SPEAKER_09]: I started canceling credit cards to try to get out of this shit because APR rates and American Express and all these fucking assholes are trying to trap you into to hire payments.
- 1:07:21[SPEAKER_09]: So then get higher APRs and late fees and all this other shits.
- 1:07:26[SPEAKER_09]: Is that the goddamn phone right there?
- 1:07:28[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah, but the events still happening.
- 1:07:30[SPEAKER_08]: So we'll get more photos later.
- 1:07:32[SPEAKER_08]: Is there a chance?
- 1:07:34[SPEAKER_09]: would that it's real?
- 1:07:35[SPEAKER_09]: No, that a hologram of Steve Jobs is going to pull up and strangle bait live on air at the end of this end of the phone.
- 1:07:43[SPEAKER_08]: That's what I want to see.
- 1:07:44[SPEAKER_09]: My fingers are gross.
- 1:07:45[SPEAKER_09]: I want to see three ropes bouncing off of this fucking foldable phone here and that's that would bring me joy.
- 1:07:53[SPEAKER_09]: Like, I'm starting to let it's just the little things that I'm looking for here.
- 1:07:56[SPEAKER_09]: The little amounts of joy.
- 1:07:58[SPEAKER_09]: He'd be like the second coming of Christ man.
- 1:08:00[SPEAKER_09]: It'd be great.
- 1:08:01[SPEAKER_09]: Well, that was where you were.
- 1:08:02[SPEAKER_09]: It's not mine.
- 1:08:03[SPEAKER_09]: I wouldn't have gone that out there.
- 1:08:04[SPEAKER_09]: It was coming.
- 1:08:05[SPEAKER_09]: You know a second time.
- 1:08:06[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I thought it just came once.
- 1:08:08[SPEAKER_09]: But that's me.
- 1:08:11[SPEAKER_09]: And then, by the way, I'm just going to bring this up because it's hilarious.
- 1:08:16[SPEAKER_09]: And it's rad here.
- 1:08:17[SPEAKER_09]: Speaking of the midterms, our good friend Brandon Herrera is running down there against
- 1:08:25[SPEAKER_09]: one of the fattest people I've ever seen in my entire life.
- 1:08:27[SPEAKER_09]: He's going to win, and it's not close.
- 1:08:30[SPEAKER_09]: But go to CNN.com, Luke.
- 1:08:32[SPEAKER_09]: This is one of the greatest headlines in CNN history that I've ever seen on their own page here.
- 1:08:39[SPEAKER_09]: There's Brandon Herrera.
- 1:08:40[SPEAKER_09]: You see that pop that up on screen right there?
- 1:08:44[SPEAKER_09]: Fat bitches.
- 1:08:46[SPEAKER_09]: is the name of this.
- 1:08:47[SPEAKER_09]: Videos reveal the extent of GOP candidates crude sexual remarks.
- 1:08:53[SPEAKER_09]: And they just called it fat bitches.
- 1:08:56[SPEAKER_09]: That's your click title is Fat Bitches.
- 1:08:59[SPEAKER_09]: You got me today, CNN, hand up, dear, you went today.
- 1:09:02[SPEAKER_09]: Fat Bitches made me click.
- 1:09:03[SPEAKER_09]: Now, I know Brandon and all of these are jokes and obviously it's on a podcast.
- 1:09:09[SPEAKER_09]: It's been on this podcast many, many times.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:09:13[SPEAKER_09]: It's hilarious.
- 1:09:15[SPEAKER_09]: It would be like if you were an Iran, Jesus Christ would be like, well, then said the word Kant, so 100, excuse me, 159,000 times.
- 1:09:23[SPEAKER_09]: Fatty was said, 38,000 times.
- 1:09:25[SPEAKER_09]: There would be a lot of it here.
- 1:09:27[SPEAKER_09]: Sorry, you're not going to
- 1:09:32[SPEAKER_09]: You're not going to stop him in this race.
- 1:09:35[SPEAKER_08]: So that's it.
- 1:09:36[SPEAKER_09]: He's going to win this goddamn thing.
- 1:09:39[SPEAKER_04]: But he's fine with having all of the words.
- 1:09:41[SPEAKER_04]: I've said exam, but I don't give two fucks when anybody thinks about it.
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_04]: Same.
- 1:09:44[SPEAKER_09]: I could care less either.
- 1:09:47[SPEAKER_09]: But as you look at this, yeah, I, you know,
- 1:09:52[SPEAKER_09]: Luckily, Democrats are running out that worst candidates possible.
- 1:09:56[SPEAKER_09]: The one in Maine though is a fucking conundrum.
- 1:09:59[SPEAKER_09]: I hate both of them equally, so it's like, all right, what do you do there?
- 1:10:02[SPEAKER_09]: Do you go with the cousin fucker?
- 1:10:05[SPEAKER_09]: Who's got two kids?
- 1:10:06[SPEAKER_09]: Or do you go with Susan Collins who won't vote Republican on anything?
- 1:10:13[SPEAKER_09]: Sighty, that guy is fucking out of there.
- 1:10:16[SPEAKER_09]: My graduates will win that.
- 1:10:17[SPEAKER_09]: Paxton will win the other one.
- 1:10:19[SPEAKER_09]: I think we'll get the Senate in the House, and I said this, but,
- 1:10:23[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, dude.
- 1:10:24[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know.
- 1:10:25[SPEAKER_09]: And is there a midterm convention?
- 1:10:28[SPEAKER_09]: Because we usually is.
- 1:10:29[SPEAKER_08]: I think there's something going on in Texas, isn't it?
- 1:10:31[SPEAKER_08]: Yeah.
- 1:10:32[SPEAKER_08]: So it's actually the first one, I think, that they've ever done.
- 1:10:34[SPEAKER_09]: That's what I heard, too.
- 1:10:36[SPEAKER_09]: So if I can pull up the article here, here we go.
- 1:10:39[SPEAKER_09]: Republicans will gather in Dallas this week for a midterm convention that's a version of the type normally held for presidential elections.
- 1:10:48[SPEAKER_09]: I don't mind it, anything.
- 1:10:51[SPEAKER_09]: You want to try to fucking help out with anything in the party right now?
- 1:10:53[SPEAKER_09]: Go ahead.
- 1:10:55[SPEAKER_09]: President Donald Trump, party leaders in battleground candidates, comprise the 109 plan speakers who are there to set their agenda, rally voters, the post-laver day sprint, toward election, and it starts today.
- 1:11:09[SPEAKER_09]: Actually, four o'clock.
- 1:11:10[SPEAKER_09]: Maybe I'll stop by.
- 1:11:11[SPEAKER_04]: Where is it?
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_04]: Dallas.
- 1:11:12[SPEAKER_04]: I'll be there.
- 1:11:13[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, you'll be there tomorrow.
- 1:11:14[SPEAKER_04]: Let's stop by and take a shit on the fucking front porch.
- 1:11:22[SPEAKER_09]: and just take a video of it.
- 1:11:23[SPEAKER_09]: What time is your flight tomorrow, by the way?
- 1:11:25[SPEAKER_09]: Seven, seven A.M. That's the other thing, too, man.
- 1:11:29[SPEAKER_09]: Like, having this isn't in the politics and the fucking gas and all this stuff, it's everything.
- 1:11:34[SPEAKER_09]: Like this nine-alavened shit.
- 1:11:36[SPEAKER_09]: Did you see the family's yesterday had a press conference with all their loved ones who had passed away, and they were asking, I'm Donnie not to come and all that stuff.
- 1:11:46[SPEAKER_04]: And it's the 24th anniversary.
- 1:11:48[SPEAKER_04]: I usually I would ask people for that,
- 1:11:51[SPEAKER_04]: It's 25.
- 1:11:52[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:11:53[SPEAKER_04]: Something for 25.
- 1:11:54[SPEAKER_04]: They probably won't be around for 50, I would imagine.
- 1:11:57[SPEAKER_04]: No.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_09]: No.
- 1:11:58[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think so either.
- 1:12:00[SPEAKER_04]: Let's say they were young.
- 1:12:01[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:12:02[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:12:03[SPEAKER_09]: But how quickly we forgot about that shit.
- 1:12:06[SPEAKER_09]: We talked about that earlier in the week.
- 1:12:09[SPEAKER_09]: And, you know, right now trying to find some positivity here.
- 1:12:14[SPEAKER_09]: Play this clip here.
- 1:12:15[SPEAKER_09]: What did, what did homeboy have to say?
- 1:12:17[SPEAKER_08]: So this was about, um, they released a bunch of documents about.
- 1:12:22[SPEAKER_08]: like the aftermath of the 9-11 like the air quality and stuff.
- 1:12:26[SPEAKER_08]: So I think that's what he's talking about here.
- 1:12:28[SPEAKER_08]: Okay.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_08]: Press play.
- 1:12:29[SPEAKER_05]: We're not here as Republicans.
- 1:12:31[SPEAKER_05]: We're not here as Democrats.
- 1:12:32[SPEAKER_05]: We're here as firefighters.
- 1:12:34[SPEAKER_05]: We protect, we serve.
- 1:12:35[SPEAKER_05]: We're going to buildings.
- 1:12:35[SPEAKER_05]: Well, there's trying to get out.
- 1:12:38[SPEAKER_05]: With the people sent into that toxic environment, deserve to know the future about what was in the air.
- 1:12:43[SPEAKER_05]: They deserve to know the risks.
- 1:12:44[SPEAKER_05]: They deserve protective equipment, honest warnings, medical monitoring,
- 1:12:52[SPEAKER_05]: Instead, many of our members spent years fighting to prove what they already knew it was in their lungs and in their bodies.
- 1:12:58[SPEAKER_05]: That the air was not safe, but the dust was not harmless, and the consequences would not disappear when lower Manhattan would open.
- 1:13:05[SPEAKER_05]: We're not here.
- 1:13:07[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I look, I agree with all this shit.
- 1:13:13[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know how they're going to, but I think we've played clips of this over the years for 9-11 every single year.
- 1:13:22[SPEAKER_09]: Well, obviously chat about it on Friday show, but I don't know how you're going to handle this one, then.
- 1:13:29[SPEAKER_09]: You got a governor in a heat job, and then you obviously got the fucking Muslim mayor there.
- 1:13:36[SPEAKER_09]: I heard, and maybe you can correct me if I'm wrong, that's the the Republican governor is points away from Hawkel in this election coming up.
- 1:13:46[SPEAKER_09]: Is that possible?
- 1:13:47[SPEAKER_09]: Is that true?
- 1:13:54[SPEAKER_04]: you know I don't know um like men is the same yeah I don't know it's a good question yeah um he claims he's within four points that's unlikely that's what I think too man the it's all of the population centers are democratic and like not just democratic but fucking young progressive
- 1:14:16[SPEAKER_04]: except for Buffalo, that's just regular Democrats.
- 1:14:19[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know, they're working class Democrats up there to a larger group, but yeah, he's got 0% chance of winning that election.
- 1:14:29[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah, I think so as well.
- 1:14:30[SPEAKER_04]: What do we got in the Calswick?
- 1:14:32[SPEAKER_09]: 90's here to, yeah.
- 1:14:35[SPEAKER_09]: uh... that one's pretty easier but uh... the rest of it will be interesting because they said the same thing about habit down in taxes uh... wheelchair down there and it's like hey that's that's not gonna happen here uh...
- 1:14:47[SPEAKER_09]: But yeah, you're trying to find some levity in this, one of our listeners, the person in Maine, it was like, hey man, you know, a lot of it's heavy and politics wise, and it's like, yeah, it is.
- 1:14:56[SPEAKER_09]: And I answered them, I was proud of them, I said, look, people are going through smart times right now, and unfortunately, that's all anybody wants to talk about and every conversation, everybody's house, or interaction you have is like, God damn.
- 1:15:08[SPEAKER_09]: How much is that thing, how much is this thing, how much is this thing, instead of,
- 1:15:13[SPEAKER_09]: What the actual thing is and it sucks I'd trust me.
- 1:15:17[SPEAKER_09]: I'd love to get away from it Which will bring me that wheeler walker juniors share.
- 1:15:21[SPEAKER_09]: There's a lot of people that were still asking about that And saying hey a lot of that episode was on true the whole thing was fake.
- 1:15:28[SPEAKER_09]: He's an actor
- 1:15:30[SPEAKER_07]: playing in character.
- 1:15:31[SPEAKER_07]: That's what they're trying to call you out of.
- 1:15:33[SPEAKER_09]: Yes, and I think it's awesome, and it's the best because we played it totally dead serious.
- 1:15:39[SPEAKER_09]: I had to ask you before the show.
- 1:15:41[SPEAKER_09]: I was like, when the public is saying, hey, you're only to refer to him as Wheeler, which, you know, you hear, you're like, okay, cool, but then I was like, is this a fucking real dude?
- 1:15:51[SPEAKER_09]: That's how I found out about it, too, was through the public's.
- 1:15:54[SPEAKER_09]: So,
- 1:15:55[SPEAKER_09]: No, that's it's it's a an actor.
- 1:15:57[SPEAKER_09]: It's comedian That is not a real human being What was it great up this up?
- 1:16:03[SPEAKER_09]: By the dead series It's still in the fucking charge right out because everybody's like, I don't understand what's going on You mean either man, but it was a blast.
- 1:16:12[SPEAKER_07]: I that yes, more shit like that What's funny is I think that you even threw him for a loop because you committed to the character too.
- 1:16:18[SPEAKER_09]: Well, the weird thing in like We never usually tell shit like of what is we want you to see everything unedited and
- 1:16:24[SPEAKER_09]: any edited clip can tell you whatever the fuck you want.
- 1:16:27[SPEAKER_09]: But the weirdest thing to me, a coupure there for this was when we ended, he didn't break character.
- 1:16:36[SPEAKER_09]: So he was telling me to come to the fucking concert in cat like he was like, oh man, you got to come backstage and almost through artist.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_09]: Yes.
- 1:16:43[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, didn't break one.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_09]: We were done, too.
- 1:16:44[SPEAKER_09]: It was like the show and I was, and I didn't either.
- 1:16:47[SPEAKER_09]: I go, yeah, I'll be there, man.
- 1:16:48[SPEAKER_09]: I can't wait.
- 1:16:50[SPEAKER_09]: It doesn't break character until he's done with the DVD commentary.
- 1:16:52[SPEAKER_09]: Apparently not, so it's great by the way, but there was a lot of people saying, hey, I think there was one story about choosing Texas, because that's the biggest song in America, and has been for the entire summer, like 21 straight weeks in the Billboard number one charts.
- 1:17:07[SPEAKER_09]: Pretty much breaking every record there is, and they were like, I said it was about a legal immigrants.
- 1:17:13[SPEAKER_09]: Choose in Texas versus choosing a break in a California or a New Mexico.
- 1:17:18[SPEAKER_09]: all of that was made up.
- 1:17:19[SPEAKER_09]: All everything you heard was entirely fictional.
- 1:17:22[SPEAKER_07]: But that part in particular you delivered so deadpan that I'm not sure what all of it I'd tried to.
- 1:17:27[SPEAKER_07]: So I was like, wait, is that what the song's actually about?
- 1:17:30[SPEAKER_07]: So you got me with that one too, because I'm not real familiar with your music.
- 1:17:34[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, but it was fun.
- 1:17:37[SPEAKER_09]: And yeah, we love doing shit like that, we missed doing shit like that.
- 1:17:40[SPEAKER_09]: However, we do read all of the things, especially on Patreon, because you guys are paying for it on this stuff for a great full, especially on the time like this, of the hard times that everybody's going through, and I'm sensitive to it, and we're going through it as well.
- 1:17:55[SPEAKER_09]: and it sucks.
- 1:17:56[SPEAKER_09]: I just want to let you know you're not alone.
- 1:17:58[SPEAKER_09]: Don't fucking end your life or or anything else.
- 1:18:01[SPEAKER_09]: Don't be afraid to ask for help or whatever it is and we're all here for one another to Dan's point.
- 1:18:09[SPEAKER_09]: That's pretty much all we got here at this point is us.
- 1:18:12[SPEAKER_09]: right now.
- 1:18:14[SPEAKER_09]: And hopefully we make each other feel better on a daily basis and encourage each other and all that other shit.
- 1:18:21[SPEAKER_09]: And they're still, like I told you with the plumber who just bought the house, congratulations man, 24 years old.
- 1:18:27[SPEAKER_09]: It's fucking amazing dude.
- 1:18:29[SPEAKER_09]: Absolutely amazing.
- 1:18:30[SPEAKER_09]: Nobody can do that right now.
- 1:18:31[SPEAKER_09]: So congratulations to you again sir.
- 1:18:36[SPEAKER_09]: And then lastly, Jimmy Kimmel.
- 1:18:38[SPEAKER_09]: I told you he was going to be done by
- 1:18:41[SPEAKER_09]: the end of the year he's going to be out of there.
- 1:18:42[SPEAKER_09]: So no, it's breaking news here.
- 1:18:45[SPEAKER_09]: They said that they'll they'll kill the contracts in the spring, which I know.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_09]: It's not a mystery.
- 1:18:50[SPEAKER_09]: I'm sure he'll try to play it off his Trump.
- 1:18:53[SPEAKER_09]: Nothing to do with that whatsoever that was predetermined.
- 1:18:55[SPEAKER_09]: Like I told you I go I'll go to the spring of of 27 in that sense.
- 1:18:59[SPEAKER_09]: But so most of these guys think the rest of it won as well.
- 1:19:02[SPEAKER_09]: All of late night.
- 1:19:03[SPEAKER_07]: All of it.
- 1:19:04[SPEAKER_09]: So Fallen everything.
- 1:19:05[SPEAKER_09]: Fallen
- 1:19:09[SPEAKER_09]: So, there's no reason to do that if you think you're sticking around, whatever, but thank God that guy's gonna be off our fucking television screens, fucking hate, Kimmel, more than life itself.
- 1:19:21[SPEAKER_09]: All right, now's the point to show you the drinking bro the week, shit, I'm actually wearing this shirt right here today, man, I had football practice, no.
- 1:19:33[SPEAKER_09]: Did you?
- 1:19:34[SPEAKER_09]: The other night, and I'm driving there, dude, and I'm coaching and, you know, helping out all this other shit with, uh, with kids, uh, I did turn this inside out in the car.
- 1:19:46[SPEAKER_09]: They're like, coach, why are you wearing the shirt inside?
- 1:19:47[SPEAKER_09]: I was like, ah, let's put it on wrong.
- 1:19:49[SPEAKER_09]: When I got out of the dryer, no, this is just a cocaine of a nitty-line and a dollar bill rolled up in the center of it.
- 1:19:55[SPEAKER_09]: I'm wearing it right here.
- 1:19:56[SPEAKER_09]: These turned out so fucking phenomenal that it looks real.
- 1:20:00[SPEAKER_09]: It looks like a 3D effect to it and like, yeah, I think the photo on the website doesn't really do adjust us.
- 1:20:06[SPEAKER_08]: No, not to get it because we'll look at it on screen right now.
- 1:20:09[SPEAKER_04]: No, it's almost fucking incredible.
- 1:20:10[SPEAKER_04]: Yes.
- 1:20:11[SPEAKER_04]: It's incredible.
- 1:20:12[SPEAKER_04]: We'll have a new shirt up by tomorrow actually.
- 1:20:14[SPEAKER_04]: No great.
- 1:20:16[SPEAKER_04]: Which one's that one?
- 1:20:17[SPEAKER_04]: It says, uh, I don't know who needs to hear this, but don't murder your children.
- 1:20:22[SPEAKER_09]: Hopefully.
- 1:20:24[SPEAKER_09]: That'll be a banger because I think you guys are doing crime court tonight on that.
- 1:20:27[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:20:28[SPEAKER_09]: That's what we're covering tonight.
- 1:20:29[SPEAKER_09]: Well, smart.
- 1:20:30[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:20:30[SPEAKER_09]: So the Penn State shirts have taken off to the point where like I have Penn State fans that live in other neighborhoods, we, you know, get together with the kids after the games and watch it and he goes, bro, I get to have that shirt and go.
- 1:20:41[SPEAKER_09]: By all means, it's up there.
- 1:20:43[SPEAKER_09]: It's on the site.
- 1:20:43[SPEAKER_09]: So he bought it was wearing it to the thing last week in Penn State won.
- 1:20:46[SPEAKER_09]: We're going to get here this year.
- 1:20:48[SPEAKER_09]: Uh, Flock Hunter shirt is on fucking fire and loop before the show started.
- 1:20:52[SPEAKER_09]: I think you said they ended it here in Wilmington, with Carolina, right?
- 1:20:56[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I think Coup said that.
- 1:20:57[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, bam.
- 1:20:57[SPEAKER_09]: Oh, baby.
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_09]: That said.
- 1:20:58[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, that was Dan.
- 1:20:59[SPEAKER_09]: Sorry.
- 1:21:00[SPEAKER_04]: Yeah.
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:21:01[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah.
- 1:21:03[SPEAKER_09]: What was the ruling on that?
- 1:21:04[SPEAKER_09]: What was the, what was the, I know somebody saw down a poll.
- 1:21:08[SPEAKER_04]: I don't know about all that, but the county commissioner or the county commission voted for zero unanimously to in the contract with flock.
- 1:21:17[SPEAKER_04]: Great, and in addition to that, a rightsful beat, this is a separate jurisdiction, but a rightsful
- 1:21:36[SPEAKER_04]: uh... this by the way doesn't apply to rights for curie or carolina beach police obviously because they're all separate get their own stuff going on but um... yet they're uh... uh... the the cop is under investigation by an outside agency they said i don't know if that's i would assume that's uh... the new hand over sheriffs department or something like that because you can't they would be able to investigate
- 1:22:02[SPEAKER_04]: I don't think rights will be to police has the, has detectives in shit, right?
- 1:22:07[SPEAKER_04]: I would be surprised because it's a small area.
- 1:22:11[SPEAKER_04]: Small community.
- 1:22:12[SPEAKER_04]: And they definitely don't have a DA to prosecute any of that.
- 1:22:15[SPEAKER_04]: So I imagine they have somebody else investigating that case.
- 1:22:17[SPEAKER_04]: Probably New Handover sheriffs office or the state police.
- 1:22:20[SPEAKER_04]: Maybe if it's egregious enough.
- 1:22:22[SPEAKER_09]: No, but anyways, you can submit for drink and bro the week on their bro box has been on fire That's my new go to Jim back in this last one man that we did here and the ringer T is fucking dope The yellowstone shirts are on fire as well
- 1:22:40[SPEAKER_09]: and I will ride or die for the fucking bathing suit, dude, forever.
- 1:22:44[SPEAKER_09]: And then Dream and Bros app, all right, so we are in the midst of this right now, we've got one more meeting on Friday.
- 1:22:51[SPEAKER_09]: The app streaming wise is almost done, and we are trying to keep it free.
- 1:22:56[SPEAKER_09]: One thing we're trying to do, kind of illegally, I guess, is show the game on Saturday nights.
- 1:23:02[SPEAKER_09]: So you don't have to buy like the ESPN package or whatever text size states one of the biggest games there is We're gonna try to do a test with the paper view run, but I'll give you updates on that tomorrow and And see how that works where it's actually you're able to watch the game and then my head will be in the corner and Jack and off dance will have a bell around his neck or something like that and
- 1:23:28[SPEAKER_09]: And then some dog, I'd like a dog like in peanut butter off me somewhere, you know, my dog knows how to do that in my back, that'd be great, just throughout.
- 1:23:35[SPEAKER_09]: But if that works, then we're able to do some wild ass shit.
- 1:23:40[SPEAKER_09]: And then same with Patreon, we're looking to switch out that YouTube back end for our own.
- 1:23:45[SPEAKER_09]: So that way there'll be no complications with any of this stupid shit of getting dinged or the videos going down or any of that stuff.
- 1:23:52[SPEAKER_09]: And we realize it sucks, I fucking hate YouTube.
- 1:23:55[SPEAKER_09]: and hopefully this is our way out of it for good, and that is coming up very, very quickly here.
- 1:24:02[SPEAKER_09]: We've got literally one more meeting, site is built, everything is built, so we're good.
- 1:24:07[SPEAKER_09]: But you would submit for drink and bro the week on the app, and then on drink and bro's.com.
- 1:24:12[SPEAKER_09]: This one came in right now, who is this?
- 1:24:15[SPEAKER_09]: 6 minutes ago, God damn you guys are fast.
- 1:24:17[SPEAKER_09]: Drink and bro's submission.
- 1:24:19[SPEAKER_09]: Caleb Halt.
- 1:24:21[SPEAKER_09]: from Arizona, listen her for six years, nominating the Phoenix Rugby Club living, thank God.
- 1:24:29[SPEAKER_09]: I think they all went down at a playing crash or something.
- 1:24:32[SPEAKER_09]: This is currently I'm the president of the Phoenix Rugby Club and need some assistance and raise and some money.
- 1:24:38[SPEAKER_09]: I hate to ask this, but I don't know another way to do it.
- 1:24:42[SPEAKER_09]: My team has been in a slump for a couple of years and I could really use some help to get these guys back into some competition.
- 1:24:49[SPEAKER_09]: Been in clubs since 1969, founded by veterans in the Phoenix area.
- 1:24:54[SPEAKER_09]: still be an operated by some, including me.
- 1:24:56[SPEAKER_09]: Thank you.
- 1:24:58[SPEAKER_09]: Look, whenever you post this, just post like a link or something.
- 1:25:01[SPEAKER_09]: Or you send in these submissions, happy to post it, but there is no link here.
- 1:25:05[SPEAKER_09]: I think the obvious solution is the starting government program.
- 1:25:11[SPEAKER_09]: Tell Mum Donnie, you won't help with the Rugby Club, dude.
- 1:25:15[SPEAKER_09]: And tell me you're going to have some Muslims on it, wrapped up or whatever it is.
- 1:25:19[SPEAKER_09]: Who's it?
- 1:25:20[SPEAKER_09]: Katie Hobbs out there in Arizona?
- 1:25:22[SPEAKER_09]: Tell Katie Hops, you know, you want that done.
- 1:25:25[SPEAKER_09]: No, but it all is sincerity.
- 1:25:26[SPEAKER_09]: Leave a link for this stuff so we can help you out.
- 1:25:30[SPEAKER_09]: Don't mind at all.
- 1:25:32[SPEAKER_09]: Is rugby big here?
- 1:25:34[SPEAKER_07]: I don't really see it that the U.S. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:25:37[SPEAKER_07]: Is it a lot of people play out?
- 1:25:38[SPEAKER_07]: Okay.
- 1:25:39[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, we had a handful of friends that were in a rugby league back in Austin, actually.
- 1:25:44[SPEAKER_07]: No shit.
- 1:25:44[SPEAKER_07]: Yeah, Brad.
- 1:25:46[SPEAKER_07]: No, he was associated with him somehow, but yeah, and Austin seems to be gaining popularity.
- 1:25:50[SPEAKER_09]: So the game in the NFL game two moreonites in Australia is the Rams versus the 49ers.
- 1:25:58[SPEAKER_09]: They're playing on a rugby field.
- 1:26:01[SPEAKER_09]: I don't know what, I mean, it appears and forgive me, man, I don't know anything about rugby, like nothing.
- 1:26:06[SPEAKER_09]: It appears as if the field goals are 10, 15 yards closer, something, obviously this is set for an NFL game, but I don't know how that works, man.
- 1:26:18[SPEAKER_09]: I know it's in my feed and I see people kick in and shit like that.
- 1:26:22[SPEAKER_09]: I've kicked a rugby ball before, it's fucking massive, by the way.
- 1:26:25[SPEAKER_09]: It's huge, it's a big ball.
- 1:26:27[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, I didn't know it was that much, but yeah, yeah, yeah, it's probably about a size and a half a size of a football.
- 1:26:32[SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, we were at Dix and my kid grab one, he was like, dad, what is this?
- 1:26:36[SPEAKER_09]: And I was like, it's a rugby ball and he goes, what's that?
- 1:26:37[SPEAKER_09]: And I go, I don't know.
- 1:26:39[SPEAKER_09]: It's violence.
- 1:26:40[SPEAKER_09]: I know that it's violent.
- 1:26:41[SPEAKER_09]: People kick the shit out of each other.
- 1:26:43[SPEAKER_09]: But we love you guys.
- 1:26:44[SPEAKER_09]: We appreciate you sooner than in day in and day out.
