- 0:11SPEAKER_01: Welcome to another installment of gas money.
- 0:13SPEAKER_01: Um I don't really enjoy these Zoom pods because I want to feel my man's in them.
- 0:19SPEAKER_00: Hey yo.
- 0:20SPEAKER_01: Say what you gotta say, yeah.
- 0:21SPEAKER_00: Hey yo, come on, man.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: There's no way you start off like that.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: I want to be physically attached to my man's in them.
- 0:28SPEAKER_01: Go ahead.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: That's that's valid.
- 0:31SPEAKER_01: Physically attached.
- 0:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that that's that's better.
- 0:33SPEAKER_00: That's better.
- 0:40SPEAKER_01: But um Yeah, we gotta do the Zoom pod for various reasons.
- 0:45SPEAKER_01: But like I said, I made a promise to our viewers that we're gonna we're gonna get this shit out the trunk if we have to, you know?
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: Every every everybody needs their gas money to get around during the week and we gotta supply it.
- 0:56SPEAKER_01: Supply and demand type shit.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: But uh how was your um we're not gonna talk about our trip yet?
- 1:00SPEAKER_01: We're gonna wait until that's that's a that's a momentous moment.
- 1:04SPEAKER_01: So we gotta um we gotta sit down and chop it up as men.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: I wanna feel y'all when we do it too.
- 1:10SPEAKER_01: So just tell me how your your your day was.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: Forget your weekend.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Tell me how your day was.
- 1:19SPEAKER_00: Um, shit.
- 1:22SPEAKER_00: Well, nah, see, technically, if you ask me what my weekend is like, we're talking about this weekend.
- 1:28SPEAKER_00: We're talking about this weekend.
- 1:30SPEAKER_00: So, as y'all know, it's my first day off from work, so my weekend just started.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: But it's a beautiful day.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: I'm actually pilted from inside the V.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: So uh I don't know what I'm gonna do after this pod, but I may ride around the city a little bit.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 1:46SPEAKER_00: That's kind of how my weekend is going, and that's how my weekend went.
- 1:50SPEAKER_00: How about you?
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: Gotcha.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: Um, I got my traditional 16 hours of sleep.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I feel great.
- 1:56SPEAKER_01: I feel rested.
- 1:58SPEAKER_01: Um, I feel like ever since turning 30, I always had bad vision, right?
- 2:03SPEAKER_01: Ever since I turned 30, like today, I feel like I lost like 3% of my vision.
- 2:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 2:09SPEAKER_00: I was niggas is operating like fucking iPhone batteries now.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I literally felt that way, and I was like, nah, so I already got bad vision, so it's not a big deal.
- 2:19SPEAKER_01: But I'm just like, come on, son.
- 2:21SPEAKER_00: This yeah, this shit.
- 2:23SPEAKER_00: It gets it gets scary.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I remember like thinking about younger, like how it feels to get old.
- 2:28SPEAKER_00: And if 30 feels like this, how does how does 60 feel?
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you do 30, when you do 30 twice, yeah.
- 2:38SPEAKER_01: So yeah, and that shit stops.
- 2:41SPEAKER_01: I actually like how it feels.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: He's like, it don't feel no different.
- 2:43SPEAKER_01: I was like, okay, all right.
- 2:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, okay.
- 2:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's because it's gradually, it's gradually been happening.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Like if that shit was like if you was to wake up one day 30 and then wake up the next day 60, you would feel that shit 100%.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm saying.
- 2:59SPEAKER_01: So, yeah, definitely.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: But um, where do you want to start, bro?
- 3:04SPEAKER_01: We got a lot of pressing topics.
- 3:06SPEAKER_01: We're gonna we're gonna like spitball these things.
- 3:09SPEAKER_00: I I feel I feel like uh that little yachty shit, you kind of been waiting a while.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: I can't remember the last part we did if we spoke about that his his last comments.
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Oh no, we definitely did.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: We spoke about it, right?
- 3:20SPEAKER_03: Yeah, like that.
- 3:21SPEAKER_00: So I feel like we should probably continue on that because uh you was a little passionate about any nigga speaking on New York.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: So the funniest thing about this whole Yachty thing, and for the the fans that don't um recall what we were talking about the first time, um he had made a statement.
- 3:38SPEAKER_01: I don't even know if it was on his podcast, but he had made a statement about how like New York niggas can't dress, and then we had to like address that because that nigga dresses like a New York nigga from 2007.
- 3:48SPEAKER_01: So the fact that you dressing like a nigga from back in the day for us just shows how you know influential we are in fashion.
- 3:54SPEAKER_01: And then we had some New York niggas speak up like ASAP NAS.
- 3:57SPEAKER_01: But the funniest part about this whole thing to meet the new yachty shit is that when he was going on his rant, that nigga was in New York.
- 4:06SPEAKER_01: Of course, of course.
- 4:08SPEAKER_01: That nigga was crashing out on IG Live and that nigga was on a New York street.
- 4:12SPEAKER_01: I don't know what borough, it could have been Manhattan, could have been Brooklyn, but he definitely was in New York.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: And that shit was just like just desserts for me, man.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: But just to give a little backstory, so uh Little Yachty, he had a podcast episode.
- 4:25SPEAKER_01: I don't even know the name of his podcast, do you?
- 4:28SPEAKER_01: Nah.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so he had a podcast episode where he was basically telling, like, it was him, Keeglock, and his his uh his podcast mate, his co-host Mitch.
- 4:40SPEAKER_01: And he was basically telling Mitch, like they were having a conversation about like how would you like how would you be in life if um you know like what what advice would you get?
- 4:51SPEAKER_01: Like you can't give advice to people if you haven't been through it or whatever the case may be.
- 4:54SPEAKER_01: But long story short, it it divulves into a conversation of Yachty basically telling his podcast co-host that you know, without me in your life, you would be one of these dusty niggas that is like robbing and doing shit like that.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: And all his co-host was trying to say is I don't use me as the example of oh yeah, I I got it all figured out and I know what I'm doing.
- 5:18SPEAKER_01: Use me as the example of, hey, you don't gotta go down that route.
- 5:21SPEAKER_01: Because I went down not the same exact robbing, killing, stealing robbing, I went down a bad route and I made it out, so I'm gonna tell you what I it the information if I would have known, I would have done better.
- 5:33SPEAKER_01: And Yachty was basically on some like, nah, nigga, you can't do that because without me, you would be just like them.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: And I just want to start there.
- 5:43SPEAKER_01: And do you think that's an appropriate whether it's true or not, do you think that's an appropriate time and place to have that conversation with your man?
- 5:52SPEAKER_00: Nah, hell no.
- 5:53SPEAKER_00: I I think any serious conversation, or maybe not even serious, but like a conversation that's like, I guess you could say personal, there's no need to have that on camera unless that shit is like, you know how we got our topics written down before we get in here.
- 6:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 6:13SPEAKER_00: Like if I know that eventually we're gonna speak on tune situation or situation that evolved tune, or if you're gonna include me to an example that you're using to prove your point, I would I would prefer some type of like, you know, some heads up, especially if it's on camera.
- 6:31SPEAKER_00: Because, like, nigga, every everything, I'm not trying to share everything on camera.
- 6:34SPEAKER_01: So can can I give you a little pushback on that?
- 6:37SPEAKER_01: So we're podcasters, right?
- 6:39SPEAKER_01: Sometimes in the heat of the moment, shit comes up, and we're also human.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: So if I felt like, nah, nigga, like you talking, like we say all the time, like you are potting.
- 6:51SPEAKER_01: Like we tell Chubbs all the time, you are potting, but we don't we don't really expose why we think he's potting.
- 6:57SPEAKER_01: But what what would happen if one day, you know, I'm potting and y'all are like, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah.
- 7:05SPEAKER_01: And like y'all expose something.
- 7:07SPEAKER_01: You don't think that's kind of par for the course in podcasting?
- 7:10SPEAKER_01: Like that just you charge it to the game.
- 7:11SPEAKER_01: It's like on a basketball court, shit gets heated sometimes.
- 7:14SPEAKER_01: You might shove a nigga after end one, but like once the game is over, it's like all love.
- 7:19SPEAKER_01: You don't think that's nah?
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: I I think I think there has to be some type of etiquette because at the end of the day, you can have a moment where you lose your friendship over.
- 7:29SPEAKER_00: And I wouldn't even say a nigga's trying to like search for clout.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: A nigga could just be trying to podcast.
- 7:36SPEAKER_00: Like, if I say something slick or I say something that may be exposing, I may be in the back of my head, just like, yo, we having a conversation.
- 7:43SPEAKER_00: It may not be a clout moment, but I should know that, like, you know what, as my man's, we don't even talk about this shit on a regular basis.
- 7:52SPEAKER_00: You feel me?
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: So it's like I probably shouldn't have the same conversation on the podcast.
- 8:00SPEAKER_00: You like you see what I'm saying?
- 8:01SPEAKER_01: Like, I feel you, but you see, the only thing I like, the only reason I disagree is because I can edit this.
- 8:08SPEAKER_01: It's not live.
- 8:10SPEAKER_01: So they both had that conversation, they both realized where it went, and they both could have edited it out, but they chose not to.
- 8:18SPEAKER_00: Uh, yeah, yeah.
- 8:19SPEAKER_00: All right, so I guess, yeah, all right, cool.
- 8:21SPEAKER_00: Yeah, if shit like that happens, like, okay, I would say we should, if you potting with your man's especially, and y'all had y'all trying to like be as real and fucking uh transparent as possible, yeah, record everything, let everything flow in the moment.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: And then I guess the editing process, that's when we decide should this stay or should this go.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: So maybe I will change my stance.
- 8:45SPEAKER_00: In the moment, I guess everything could be on the table.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: Afterward, in the editing section, in the editing portion of like the production, like that's that's when I feel like I, you know what, maybe I ain't really feeling that topic like that.
- 9:00SPEAKER_00: I ain't really feeling that whole niggas is trying to put my, not really trying to put my business out there, but like I ain't really trying to have the world know.
- 9:09SPEAKER_00: Or honestly, I don't feel comfortable with this shit.
- 9:11SPEAKER_00: I it don't even have to be some secret shit.
- 9:13SPEAKER_00: It could really just be like, honestly, I don't feel comfortable with me being in this example, honestly.
- 9:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like, okay, all of what you're saying, Yacht, is true.
- 9:22SPEAKER_01: I did live with you and your moms when we was all broke.
- 9:25SPEAKER_01: You up now, and you taking me to the promised land, but I don't want that information out there.
- 9:30SPEAKER_01: Can you just that part out?
- 9:32SPEAKER_01: But that didn't happen.
- 9:34SPEAKER_01: But again, maybe it's a situation where they both looked at it and was like, this is how we rock.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: Because not to get ahead of myself, that nigga Mitch went on Twitter and he was like, yo, that's just how me and him rock.
- 9:48SPEAKER_01: Like, we don't we didn't have a problem with it.
- 9:50SPEAKER_01: But this is where the problem occurred.
- 9:52SPEAKER_01: So speaking of Twitter, there's an artist in his concrete boys label group crew.
- 10:00SPEAKER_01: I don't know, I really don't know what to call that shit.
- 10:02SPEAKER_00: And I thought, I thought that's that's so that's like a um I thought that was the name of the the the clothing section of their shit.
- 10:09SPEAKER_00: That that's like the whole movement type shit.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: I think it might be the whole movement.
- 10:12SPEAKER_01: And once again, I am I'm just talking.
- 10:14SPEAKER_01: I don't know Yachty outside of one night, and he's he's part of one of the most famous freestyle, um, double XL freestyles ever.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: Those are the two big moments I oh and the city girl shit.
- 10:28SPEAKER_01: That's about it.
- 10:29SPEAKER_01: When it comes to me and Yachty, he took the walk to Poland, that shit was fly.
- 10:33SPEAKER_01: But yeah, that nigga probably got like four moments in hip hop for me.
- 10:36SPEAKER_01: That's I was talking for me.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: So I'm assuming the concrete boys is a label and a clothing line.
- 10:43SPEAKER_01: Who knows?
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 10:44SPEAKER_01: He had a young lady on there, her name was Caribou.
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: She looked like the black version of that girl from Nezda Classified.
- 10:51SPEAKER_00: She also looked like Skiller Baby.
- 10:55SPEAKER_00: I don't know who that is.
- 10:56SPEAKER_00: Ah, damn.
- 10:57SPEAKER_00: I bet.
- 10:58SPEAKER_00: So when we put this shit, when we put this shit on YouTube, hopefully in the editing process, we can figure out how to do this, but we gotta show a picture of who you said and who I said.
- 11:07SPEAKER_00: But I'm telling you, I saw her the other day and I was like, this is like Skiller Baby, but the girl version.
- 11:13SPEAKER_00: Oh, Skiller Baby's a man.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:16SPEAKER_00: A rapper.
- 11:17SPEAKER_00: Uh I can't think of the most popular.
- 11:18SPEAKER_00: So funny enough, from Detroit.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: So he's our cousin, apparently.
- 11:21SPEAKER_00: Shout out Detroit.
- 11:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:23SPEAKER_00: But yeah, you can continue.
- 11:25SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so she has recently got kicked out the whip.
- 11:29SPEAKER_01: She left the group.
- 11:30SPEAKER_01: She got kicked out the group.
- 11:31SPEAKER_01: That was a whole controversy.
- 11:32SPEAKER_01: So on Twitter, she tweeted some shit after this clip went viral.
- 11:37SPEAKER_01: She tweeted some shit like on some like, oh yeah, I'm glad y'all finally starting to see the truth, or some shit like that, about how that nigga uh Yachty be moving.
- 11:45SPEAKER_01: Then there was a young lady.
- 11:48SPEAKER_01: She tweeted, yo, it's crazy.
- 11:50SPEAKER_01: Caribou just came into my restaurant.
- 11:52SPEAKER_01: I think it was a um uh Red Lobster.
- 11:56SPEAKER_01: And she just wanted some biscuits.
- 11:58SPEAKER_01: And I asked her, like, yo, why you left the group?
- 12:01SPEAKER_01: And Caribou, according to this young lady, response was I didn't leave.
- 12:05SPEAKER_01: They kicked me out.
- 12:07SPEAKER_01: So she got kicked out the whip.
- 12:09SPEAKER_01: It wasn't a a mutual thing.
- 12:11SPEAKER_01: And the young lady was saying, Oh, yeah, you know, I only really fuck I only really started fucking with Yachty again because of you.
- 12:18SPEAKER_01: And I would say you're number two in that whole group.
- 12:21SPEAKER_01: And you know, you don't need them F them, blah blah blah blah.
- 12:24SPEAKER_01: So all of this shit is bubbling on social media.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: And I think that the the the straw that broke the camel's back for Yachty was that I feel like he's always been in a space where he is he's the the good guy.
- 12:42SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 12:42SPEAKER_01: Like I remember a while back he was beefing with some other rapper about Ruby Rose, I think it was, that was beefing over her.
- 12:49SPEAKER_01: And he people ki came to his aid because he looked like the square.
- 12:55SPEAKER_01: He looked like the one that was getting bullied.
- 12:57SPEAKER_01: So I think this is the first time in his career that he was the guy that was like the head honcho, the the bullied, not not the bullied.
- 13:07SPEAKER_01: So he gets on IG Live and he stars blacken.
- 13:14SPEAKER_01: So the first thing I heard him say, because I'm getting these clips out of order, is Mitch is a bitch ass nigga for not getting on social media and defending that clip.
- 13:25SPEAKER_01: Because the clip had like some like six million views or some shit like that.
- 13:28SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I didn't see that clip.
- 13:30SPEAKER_01: The comments was basically oh, this nigga Yachty's fucked up.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: And Yachty wanted Mitch to go on social media and say, yo, we fly.
- 13:40SPEAKER_01: This is fine, this is how we talk to each other.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: And Mitch's response to Yachty was, bro, it's just Twitter.
- 13:46SPEAKER_01: How do you feel about that?
- 13:49SPEAKER_00: Uh I feel like both niggas is wrong, honestly.
- 13:54SPEAKER_00: And the only reason why I feel like I feel like Mitch is less wrong, uh, but I feel like Yachty's wrong because I mean, he definitely should understand how this internet shit works.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: If you feel a way about something, nigga, you shouldn't be expecting your man's to know how you want him to handle the situation.
- 14:13SPEAKER_00: You should holler at your man's, especially if this is like you talking about this is your man's man's.
- 14:18SPEAKER_00: Like you should holler at him, like, yo, Mitch, I really feel like you should clear this shit up because like I ain't liking the backlash from this shit.
- 14:26SPEAKER_00: And it could it should have been that.
- 14:28SPEAKER_00: And then on Mitch's side, like, my nigga, this nigga, I don't know that nigga besides from this whole shit.
- 14:33SPEAKER_00: So at the end of the day, like, I don't like that nigga, for all I know, that nigga could just be a nigga that's just fresh off the street.
- 14:41SPEAKER_00: He got his he got his claim to fame, and this nigga just riding the wave.
- 14:45SPEAKER_00: Like, that nigga don't got no real etiquette of how to how you supposed to move, or like that nigga may just be happy to be here, type shit.
- 14:52SPEAKER_00: So I don't blame that nigga for moving that way, not saying nothing.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: But if your man's had a problem with it and he brought it up to you, you didn't say nothing, you never cleared it up, then that's the only issue I have with that shit.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: You he he probably shouldn't have responded to his man's by saying, you know how Instagram, oh, you know how Twitter is.
- 15:11SPEAKER_00: You probably should have had more of a real response, like, oh my man's, if you have an issue with that, then I I'll clear it up for you.
- 15:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but then that's fair.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: So then he goes on to call Mitch a bitch.
- 15:23SPEAKER_01: Um Mitch is Mitch's ex, who's Yachty's cousin, she chimed in on Twitter talking about, oh yeah, I'm about to expose this nigga, Yacht.
- 15:30SPEAKER_01: He owes Mitch money.
- 15:31SPEAKER_01: And then he proceeds to say, I never stole nothing from Mitch.
- 15:34SPEAKER_01: Mitch is a bum ass, broke ass nigga without me.
- 15:36SPEAKER_01: I'm paraphrasing.
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: So Mitch is the nigga that the time, I don't know if you've seen this clip, but is Mitch the nigga that I think this is one of his viral clips.
- 15:44SPEAKER_00: He's like, yo, if you, if everything was uh legal for a day, if all crimes is legal for a day, what would you do?
- 15:51SPEAKER_00: And the nigga responds, I would get a BBL.
- 15:55SPEAKER_00: You seen that clip?
- 15:56SPEAKER_00: You seen that clip?
- 15:58SPEAKER_01: But is he wearing a hat?
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: I can't remember.
- 16:03SPEAKER_00: It probably is him, because he's the only one.
- 16:05SPEAKER_00: Because it's only two niggas, right?
- 16:06SPEAKER_00: It's only Yachty.
- 16:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 16:08SPEAKER_00: All right, so yeah, it gotta, it gotta be him.
- 16:10SPEAKER_00: It gotta be him.
- 16:11SPEAKER_00: I think it was one of the beginning ones.
- 16:13SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 16:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah, all right, but so all right, so I know Mitch.
- 16:16SPEAKER_00: That's actually pretty fire.
- 16:18SPEAKER_01: I didn't know the niggas, I didn't know the niggas was friends.
- 16:21SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so apparently that he went on social after the girl chimed in, Mitch's ex, he went on to first of all, he dirty he I don't know if this dirty mac, but he kind of broke guy code.
- 16:33SPEAKER_01: He was like, first of all, when that nigga Mitch used to say he was going on meters and shit for me, that nigga was just doing that to get away from you.
- 16:41SPEAKER_01: Y'all he said.
- 16:43SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it gets sticky, but like it's certain things.
- 16:47SPEAKER_00: Like, if you do a crime with a nigga and then a nigga snitch on you, are you able to snitch on him?
- 16:53SPEAKER_00: I personally don't think so.
- 16:55SPEAKER_00: I think you gotta like stick to stick to the code no matter what it is.
- 16:58SPEAKER_00: If me and my friend are no longer friends no more, I feel like I still can't, like, I can't tell his girl that, oh yeah, this nigga was I wouldn't feel comfortable as a man doing that.
- 17:09SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like that's I think there's a code there.
- 17:12SPEAKER_00: There's a code of kind.
- 17:13SPEAKER_00: At least at least for yourself.
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: Like you you don't owe that nigga nothing, but like you, if you stand on something, you owe yourself.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Exactly like uh I'm a man at the end of the day.
- 17:24SPEAKER_01: Like not only did he expose him, he dry snitched on his infidelities with that young lady, he called that nigga broke to the whole world, and he he said that nigga was living in his mama's house, and he lives in his house right now, and that nigga's never done nothing in his career.
- 17:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that nigga apparently makes beats and shit.
- 17:42SPEAKER_01: So he has a career.
- 17:46SPEAKER_00: Hold on, uh the mission.
- 17:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, so like he ain't he wasn't just dead broke.
- 17:52SPEAKER_01: Nah, he was because you know how this should go.
- 17:54SPEAKER_01: Nigga, I could be a rapper, I can still be dead broke.
- 17:57SPEAKER_01: It's the same thing with making beats.
- 17:58SPEAKER_00: Nah, that's a fight.
- 17:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's a fight.
- 18:00SPEAKER_00: That's a fight.
- 18:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I can still be dead broke.
- 18:02SPEAKER_00: But I feel I would figure like if if yaddy's if yaddy's a rapper, uh you like that nigga had to plug you in at least once with a hold on, let me ask you a question.
- 18:13SPEAKER_01: You a rapper.
- 18:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's a nigga that was around that was making beats.
- 18:17SPEAKER_01: How many beats he makes?
- 18:18SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 18:20SPEAKER_00: Come on, nigga, nigga, niggas just take the title of a beat maker.
- 18:23SPEAKER_00: Niggas don't really be making beats.
- 18:25SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you, that's not it could be the same situation.
- 18:28SPEAKER_01: Like a nigga make beats quote quote, and you know, ain't not mad beat, nigga ain't not mad beat.
- 18:35SPEAKER_01: Exactly.
- 18:36SPEAKER_01: So I'm not I'm not really I'm not taking a shot.
- 18:39SPEAKER_01: I'm just making a real life situation like that.
- 18:42SPEAKER_01: Like we live, we live this lifestyle.
- 18:43SPEAKER_01: So we know if you would have blew up tomorrow and that same beat maker was was living with you, and then now y'all are living again together in a mansion.
- 18:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah, my question to you is if you are Mitch and Yachty spoke to you like this, is there reconciliation?
- 19:04SPEAKER_01: Uh yeah.
- 19:09SPEAKER_00: You my mains.
- 19:10SPEAKER_00: Like, so I feel like there's always I mean, there's obviously certain lines you can't come back from, but if that shit was just words, I feel like it always, I mean, well, I guess depending on what was said, but I feel for that.
- 19:24SPEAKER_01: He called you a bitch broke, bum ass nigga, and he told your ex that you be you was cheating on her.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: You dry snitched, and you never and like you wanted to be away from her.
- 19:33SPEAKER_01: And the only reason you was fucking her was because you needed you needed the place to stay.
- 19:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, nah, I can't.
- 19:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm lying.
- 19:43SPEAKER_00: You can't, you can't.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: That's it.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: It's up.
- 19:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 19:48SPEAKER_00: Think about the niggas you know right now.
- 19:52SPEAKER_00: But like it, I mean, at least for me, like I might I'm not in that situation.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: I know I have I ever been in that situation, but I would I would feel I I wouldn't say hate, but I don't know if I could be around a nigga that I feel like as soon as we ain't on good terms, you want some shit like that.
- 20:09SPEAKER_00: Like what if you forgot about the whole I forgot about the whole snitching to my to my lady or my or whatever.
- 20:15SPEAKER_00: That's out of line.
- 20:18SPEAKER_00: That that's like that's that's that's out of line.
- 20:20SPEAKER_00: That's out of pocket.
- 20:22SPEAKER_00: What if this is the first time?
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: Huh?
- 20:25SPEAKER_01: What if this is the first time he's ever?
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: A nigga do that shit once, he can do it again.
- 20:30SPEAKER_00: Okay, all right.
- 20:31SPEAKER_00: He could do that.
- 20:32SPEAKER_00: Come on, man.
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: It could get on the internet, start saying only people.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna say you're podding a little bit, bro.
- 20:41SPEAKER_00: Nah, like, I don't know, man.
- 20:45SPEAKER_00: I just feel like the calling me a broke, calling me a bitch, I could deal with that.
- 20:51SPEAKER_00: Okay, I'm gonna do that.
- 20:52SPEAKER_00: But I just I just feel like so that's like like a nigga, it's like a nigga that, all right, so cool.
- 20:57SPEAKER_00: A nigga, you do a crime with a nigga, he rat on you, you ended up beating the case anyway because of a technicality.
- 21:03SPEAKER_00: You gonna do another crime with that nigga?
- 21:05SPEAKER_00: Nah.
- 21:07SPEAKER_00: That's how that's how I feel about like the the bitch shit, the bitch and the broke shit, that's just you speaking out of anger.
- 21:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:15SPEAKER_00: You feel me?
- 21:16SPEAKER_00: Like a nigga could call you gay and you're not gay.
- 21:18SPEAKER_00: But you you call me broke and I'm not broke.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: Nigga call me this and I'm not this.
- 21:22SPEAKER_00: But you telling my lady some shit, or my ex or whatever, some shit, uh that means that means you get you turn into a girl.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: When the fire gets turned up, you turn into a girl, nigga.
- 21:34SPEAKER_01: Because I was about to say, we both of us have had some touch and go moments with niggas that we love and respect.
- 21:41SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 21:43SPEAKER_00: And I feel like that would be the line.
- 21:45SPEAKER_00: I feel like it's I'm telling imagine, imagine that, bro.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: You beefing with you, you're not cool with somebody right now for the time being.
- 21:52SPEAKER_00: And then you find out that, like, uh, yeah, yeah, actually, no, your lady get mad at you about some shit.
- 21:59SPEAKER_00: She's like, nah, I heard.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: From such and such, you was doing this during this time, and you like, hold on, hold on.
- 22:04SPEAKER_00: This nigga said, What?
- 22:05SPEAKER_00: You telling me you could be friends with a nigga like that again?
- 22:09SPEAKER_01: I got a story to tell you off the pod, man.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: Come on, bro.
- 22:13SPEAKER_00: Ain't no way.
- 22:14SPEAKER_00: If that happened to you, bro, hats off to you, nigga.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: Hats off to you.
- 22:19SPEAKER_01: I got a story to tell you off the pod.
- 22:22SPEAKER_01: And I know our um our listeners, our four listeners, are gonna hate this because the podcast I listen to, I hate when they do this.
- 22:30SPEAKER_01: The same thing.
- 22:32SPEAKER_01: But some shit is deep in the rap, you know?
- 22:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 22:35SPEAKER_01: I'll remind me of this conversation.
- 22:37SPEAKER_01: I'll definitely break it down.
- 22:38SPEAKER_00: Nah, I gotta hear.
- 22:39SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna I'm gonna remind you.
- 22:40SPEAKER_00: And honestly, I don't think you're wrong.
- 22:41SPEAKER_00: I don't think anybody's wrong for valuing a friendship.
- 22:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: I think that's one of the most fragile things and most valuable things in life is a true friendship.
- 22:52SPEAKER_00: So if it if that person's worth valuing that friendship throughout the bullshit that they put you through, you're a real nigga.
- 23:00SPEAKER_00: And they they don't deserve you.
- 23:01SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna say that right now.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: They don't deserve you as a friend.
- 23:04SPEAKER_01: Now I'm starting to feel like a bitch.
- 23:07SPEAKER_01: That's what I'm that's what people say to women when they stay at the nigga cheap.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: You a real woman.
- 23:14SPEAKER_00: I'm encouraging, I'm encouraging the women to leave niggas.
- 23:17SPEAKER_00: I'm that nigga.
- 23:19SPEAKER_00: You should, unless, unless I got a girl.
- 23:22SPEAKER_00: If I got a girl, yeah, you should stay with that nigga.
- 23:24SPEAKER_00: If I ain't got a girl, you should leave that nigga.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:28SPEAKER_01: But um, the final part of this Yachty thing, well, there's two more parts, but the the final his the tirade that he went on.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: He basically said that Caribou girl is actually a really ugly person.
- 23:40SPEAKER_01: Like she be talking to um the security and the people around like they the help.
- 23:45SPEAKER_01: She'd be on some like y'all are beneath me, I'm a princess, y'all this and that.
- 23:49SPEAKER_01: Which is kind of her thing, like her moniker is that she's like she's different than all the other girls.
- 23:54SPEAKER_01: Like she's an actual princess, she uh and also that she'll beat them up.
- 23:58SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 23:58SPEAKER_01: So I I really only heard like a couple of like her music, like a couple of snippets.
- 24:02SPEAKER_01: I never really listened to a full song.
- 24:04SPEAKER_01: But that's like kind of her thing.
- 24:05SPEAKER_01: And he and he was saying how he has had to like the team, the whole team had to like keep that stuff in-house, in the tuck, her.
- 24:17SPEAKER_01: And he also said that he had to dress all of them, the niggas included.
- 24:26SPEAKER_01: So and he's like 900k in the hole.
- 24:29SPEAKER_01: So as an artist, if you were on this label, how would you feel about the head of your label talking like this?
- 24:36SPEAKER_01: Because to me, as a consumer, he kind of stepped on the whole brand.
- 24:40SPEAKER_01: Like now I wouldn't even want to listen to these niggas.
- 24:42SPEAKER_01: These niggas is lame.
- 24:43SPEAKER_01: They got a nigga.
- 24:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they got a nigga, like you supposed to y'all supposed to be some fly get money rapping niggas, and your label boss had to dress y'all.
- 24:51SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying this shit don't happen all the time.
- 24:53SPEAKER_01: This shit probably happens all the time.
- 24:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I think I think this is 90% of the rappers, but I think I'm taking niggas out the trap that don't know what a they know what Gucci is, but they don't know how to put a Gucci fit together.
- 25:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 25:06SPEAKER_01: I understand this.
- 25:07SPEAKER_01: A stylist is a stylist, but there's nobody coming out and saying, oh, when I ran into fucking young thug, that nigga couldn't dress for shit.
- 25:14SPEAKER_01: It would kind of remove the mystique of some of these dudes.
- 25:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 25:18SPEAKER_01: As an artist, how do you feel about Yachty exposing the fact that she don't write her music, she's a shitty person, and he had to dress all these niggas that's in the in the group.
- 25:27SPEAKER_00: I feel like this nigga Yachty's on some uh self-destruct button.
- 25:32SPEAKER_00: Well, not the self-destruct button for himself because I I like I like how we argued off the off the pod.
- 25:37SPEAKER_00: I I think that nigga's fine.
- 25:39SPEAKER_00: Just off uh, I think he's in one of those spaces where it's like Chief Keith, him, um, I can't think of nobody else right now, but it's it's a few of them that honestly they don't have to drop music.
- 25:50SPEAKER_00: It's just that who what they mean to hip hop, like even Soulja Boy, actually.
- 25:54SPEAKER_00: I think Soulja Boy one, what they mean to hip hop, they probably could always just get a check just because like they just one of those niggas that's been like a staple in this new generation.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: I what he's done for his group to like talking about these niggas ain't this, these niggas ain't that, these niggas, I think that's incredibly stupid.
- 26:12SPEAKER_00: Because especially if you down 900,000, you I don't feel like you in a position to recoup your like your money.
- 26:19SPEAKER_00: Because like you said, why the fuck would I buy anything from niggas that I feel is just you coaching these niggas through everything?
- 26:26SPEAKER_00: Like I might as well just listen to your music.
- 26:28SPEAKER_00: Or I might as well just follow you on Instagram instead of following this whole group because nigga is just you in fucking other forms and other fashion.
- 26:38SPEAKER_00: So I think that nigga did some real dumb shit by telling the whole world that yeah, these niggas ain't really who they say they are.
- 26:47SPEAKER_00: And I don't I don't know if he can come back from that shit, honestly.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: At least, at least for the group.
- 26:53SPEAKER_00: Cause I think I think that like that uh concrete boys, they um they got like some some partnership with Nike or some shit.
- 27:02SPEAKER_00: I think they had like some shit that was supposed to be coming out with Nike.
- 27:05SPEAKER_00: And it's like, my nigga, if you got something big like that going on, this is the worst time to be on something like, yeah, these this whole shit is a joke.
- 27:16SPEAKER_00: This whole shit is a fucking like me.
- 27:20SPEAKER_00: I just put this whole shit together.
- 27:21SPEAKER_00: These niggas ain't even like this.
- 27:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because once you step on the cool, like you could bounce back from a whack song, you could bounce back from a whack fit, you could bounce back from a uh like a moment like I don't know, like you you you get into a fight at the club and niggas drop you or some shit.
- 27:37SPEAKER_01: You can come back from shit like that.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: Shout out my man Jay Crick.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: But I don't think you could come back from not being cool no more.
- 27:48SPEAKER_01: Nah, hell no.
- 27:49SPEAKER_01: That because hip hop, coolness is probably one of one and two with gangsterism.
- 27:55SPEAKER_01: Like, those are the two things like like you could get away with not being a gangster if you're cool, and you can get away with being not cool if you're a super gangster.
- 28:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:03SPEAKER_01: But if you're not them niggas clearly ain't no gangsters.
- 28:07SPEAKER_01: So if you're not cool, like cool is the only thing y'all was selling.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 28:13SPEAKER_01: That's out the window of a nigga dressing you.
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: Like, I seen so many jokes, niggas calling them the Jackson Five, and this nigga fucking little Yachty's mic, and the rest of these niggas.
- 28:24SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you, bro, you don't want that, man.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: Honestly, I feel like that's Drake's problem now.
- 28:29SPEAKER_00: I feel like, I feel like that nigga Kendrick, he he he made it kind of not cool to fuck with Drake.
- 28:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 28:39SPEAKER_00: And and and like you said, once you lose that cool, nigga.
- 28:44SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't I don't think.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: What else are we watching you for?
- 28:49SPEAKER_00: Gangster.
- 28:50SPEAKER_00: Gotta kill somebody.
- 28:53SPEAKER_01: So the nigga gotta crash out.
- 28:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, if I'm one of them concrete niggas, I'm picking up an Uzi right now.
- 29:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, just see, but that's why that's why hip hop is in such a cool place because if you pick up an Uzi right now, shoot at some shit, and then you go to uh you could just go to YSL Woody route.
- 29:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 29:13SPEAKER_00: And I seen that nigga the other day.
- 29:15SPEAKER_00: Uh not not in person, but I see him on Instagram.
- 29:17SPEAKER_00: That nigga was like on some uh bang bus shit.
- 29:22SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 29:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah celebrity rap.
- 29:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so honestly, these rats is two for two.
- 29:29SPEAKER_00: You got a six nine who looked really good out of jail, yeah.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: YSL YSL Woody and Gunner.
- 29:36SPEAKER_00: I ain't gonna I don't know, man.
- 29:38SPEAKER_00: I don't know if Gunner's a rat, man.
- 29:40SPEAKER_00: Come on, you seen that nigga on the stand?
- 29:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yes, man.
- 29:43SPEAKER_00: Nah, that wasn't the same.
- 29:44SPEAKER_00: He said that's from his seat.
- 29:46SPEAKER_00: He said yes, man from his seat.
- 29:49SPEAKER_01: Yes, man.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: If you say yes, man in the courtroom, you tell him, bro.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: I don't know what to tell you.
- 29:57SPEAKER_00: That nigga stood up from his seat and said yes, man.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: Why is why is a woody at the stand up from his seat, walk across the courtroom, go sit inside that seat.
- 30:07SPEAKER_01: Y'all niggas got a lot of rules, man.
- 30:10SPEAKER_01: I'll allow it, but y'all got a lot of rules.
- 30:12SPEAKER_01: I'm putting gunner on that list.
- 30:13SPEAKER_01: I fuck with gunner, though.
- 30:15SPEAKER_01: I can separate the art from the artist.
- 30:18SPEAKER_00: I don't know if he ratted, man.
- 30:21SPEAKER_00: Shout out, Kevin.
- 30:22SPEAKER_00: We all know why we all knew why and so it was a gang.
- 30:24SPEAKER_00: That nigga ain't telling us the courts ain't no.
- 30:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he did.
- 30:30SPEAKER_01: That shit was music before.
- 30:31SPEAKER_01: That shit was like a movie.
- 30:33SPEAKER_01: I think Young Thug was John Wick.
- 30:35SPEAKER_00: But now Young Thug was the governor, nigga.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but now that nigga's in trouble.
- 30:42SPEAKER_01: But um, just to put in a button in this Yachty discussion.
- 30:45SPEAKER_01: So in our group chat, we had a very heated discussion about whether or not little Yachty needed to pod.
- 30:53SPEAKER_01: Because he said, hey, I don't need this podcast yet.
- 30:55SPEAKER_01: I put 400,000 in your pocket, Mitch, the bitch.
- 30:58SPEAKER_01: I'm powerful.
- 31:01SPEAKER_01: But I personally think, and like I'm saying, I could be on the outside of this.
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: I don't the same kind the category that you put little Yachty in, I'm actually disturbed that you put him in that category.
- 31:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 31:13SPEAKER_01: That nigga is not Social Boy.
- 31:16SPEAKER_01: He is not Chief Keefe.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: That nigga has had four cultural moments that I E.G.
- 31:22SPEAKER_01: can think of.
- 31:23SPEAKER_01: And I think that the reason why he's podcasting is because his name in the streets is fucking dead.
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: And the podcast, his podcast was going viral.
- 31:33SPEAKER_01: Um, I would say monthly.
- 31:35SPEAKER_01: The same reason why Nori is podcasting, the same reason why Joseph Button is podcasting.
- 31:40SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 31:41SPEAKER_01: Same reason little Yacht.
- 31:43SPEAKER_01: I think little Yachty's smart.
- 31:44SPEAKER_01: I think he saw the writing on the wall.
- 31:46SPEAKER_01: You see, the problem is with Joe and Nori, they waited 10, 20 years to start shifting their shit away from rap.
- 31:55SPEAKER_01: I think Yachty saw the writing on the wall.
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: He was like, hold on.
- 32:01SPEAKER_01: He's a white Gucci man, white future.
- 32:03SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna I'm gonna do some records with him.
- 32:04SPEAKER_01: Oh, my shit still ain't really popping like that.
- 32:07SPEAKER_01: Of course, like uh uh Chubbs was saying in the chat, I'm sure Yachty can attend a festival.
- 32:13SPEAKER_01: That doesn't mean that he can headline a tour.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and Yachty also somebody can correct me if I'm wrong.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: He's signed to a label that's signed to a label.
- 32:24SPEAKER_01: He's he's he's QC.
- 32:26SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he's QC.
- 32:28SPEAKER_01: So that means somebody invested money into him.
- 32:35SPEAKER_01: So I don't think he's broke by any stretch of the imagination, but I don't think a nigga gets up every day or every week or once a week and podcasts just cuz.
- 32:46SPEAKER_01: I don't think so.
- 32:47SPEAKER_01: I think they do it because that nigga needs to take well.
- 32:50SPEAKER_01: I think they need to look.
- 32:51SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying that he needs the revenue from the podcast to pay his bills.
- 32:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I think he's saying I think he needs his name in the zeitgeist because this is the most the last two months since since he dropped that polling song until today.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: His podcast has been the only thing that's keeping his name relevant.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, no, I agree.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: I would agree with him.
- 33:13SPEAKER_00: I would definitely agree with him.
- 33:15SPEAKER_01: I my stance on the whole thing was just that if he stopped podcasting tomorrow, we would not hear from Yachty again for the rest of the till next two years.
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: That I was worried.
- 33:25SPEAKER_01: Because what reason?
- 33:27SPEAKER_01: His music ain't hitting.
- 33:28SPEAKER_01: He has a he has a couple viral moments, don't get me wrong.
- 33:31SPEAKER_01: Like the the dance that they keep remixing that he he did when he was coming out of the festival.
- 33:36SPEAKER_01: But again, what song was playing to him?
- 33:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I don't know.
- 33:40SPEAKER_01: That's my point.
- 33:41SPEAKER_01: That's my point.
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: So I don't know.
- 33:44SPEAKER_01: And and the reason why that shit got popping again was because that same white nigga, Ian, came out and did the he reenacted the dance.
- 33:52SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah, so that's just my thing.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: And and and that's that's how I feel about Yacht.
- 33:58SPEAKER_01: And that and that nigga comes across, and there's nothing wrong with this, as a homosexual.
- 34:03SPEAKER_01: But there's nothing wrong with that.
- 34:05SPEAKER_01: I just wanted to point that out.
- 34:06SPEAKER_00: That nigga gets bad bitches, bro.
- 34:08SPEAKER_00: I ain't letting you do that.
- 34:10SPEAKER_01: I can't hear you.
- 34:11SPEAKER_01: What is that?
- 34:12SPEAKER_00: That nigga gets bad bitches.
- 34:13SPEAKER_00: I ain't letting you do it.
- 34:15SPEAKER_00: I ain't letting you do that.
- 34:16SPEAKER_00: That nigga gets bad bitches.
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: Wasn't he ripping?
- 34:18SPEAKER_00: Wasn't he ripping caribou?
- 34:21SPEAKER_00: No.
- 34:22SPEAKER_00: According to him and her.
- 34:24SPEAKER_00: Come on, man.
- 34:25SPEAKER_00: We we done heard that story before.
- 34:26SPEAKER_00: That was she's gold.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: Hold on.
- 34:28SPEAKER_00: Now, hell, no, I told you she liked skill baby.
- 34:31SPEAKER_00: I thought that was a compliment.
- 34:35SPEAKER_01: I don't know what's going on.
- 34:36SPEAKER_01: You wouldn't, you would so you wouldn't rip?
- 34:39SPEAKER_01: Nah, hell no.
- 34:40SPEAKER_01: I don't like her face.
- 34:41SPEAKER_03: All right.
- 34:43SPEAKER_00: Like I said, I nigga turned this.
- 34:46SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:47SPEAKER_00: But um, I don't think, yeah, I ain't gonna lie.
- 34:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I don't I ain't really fucking with her like that.
- 34:52SPEAKER_00: She got her looking nigga to me.
- 34:53SPEAKER_00: She looks like skill of I'm telling her I'm gonna show you a picture of Skiller Baby, and you're gonna be like, damn, you right.
- 34:59SPEAKER_00: I'd rip this bitch look like a nigga.
- 35:02SPEAKER_01: I'll rip.
- 35:03SPEAKER_01: Um, of course, if I was a single man, I'd rip because uh I think she I think she she she she does she go in.
- 35:12SPEAKER_00: Alright, I'm gonna show you a picture, I'm gonna show you a picture of Skiller Baby.
- 35:16SPEAKER_00: You're gonna change your mom.
- 35:17SPEAKER_01: I think that nonchalant she should be on is because she's really a demon.
- 35:21SPEAKER_01: She's probably a freak.
- 35:23SPEAKER_01: She probably a freak of zoy.
- 35:26SPEAKER_00: She probably is.
- 35:28SPEAKER_00: She probably is.
- 35:29SPEAKER_00: That means a lot to a nigga like me.
- 35:31SPEAKER_00: She probably ain't do a lot of fucking though.
- 35:34SPEAKER_00: Why?
- 35:36SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: I didn't really see much of her, but she gives you that vibe.
- 35:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's it's those are the type of girls you gotta watch out for.
- 35:43SPEAKER_01: The nonchalant, dress like a dude, they begin it in.
- 35:49SPEAKER_01: She was a waitress, bro.
- 35:52SPEAKER_00: Oh, yeah, that probably do mean something.
- 35:55SPEAKER_01: That's that's like top three freak jobs, yeah.
- 36:02SPEAKER_00: I suddenly want to go to a restaurant.
- 36:04SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you.
- 36:06SPEAKER_01: Hit up one of the hit up chilies, Applebee.
- 36:10SPEAKER_00: Chili's funny enough, in the airport, I know we ain't talking about Vegas, but in the airport they had a uh they had a chilies and my uh layover.
- 36:19SPEAKER_00: Wasn't no freaks there.
- 36:21SPEAKER_01: That's why you was late.
- 36:23SPEAKER_01: Nigga stopped at chilies.
- 36:25SPEAKER_01: Gotta stop, bro.
- 36:26SPEAKER_01: But um, we could uh we could keep it hip hop, and I want to talk about your man, post Malone.
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: I get that ain't my man.
- 36:36SPEAKER_00: So that nigga only got a career because uh you already know who your man, your man Josh.
- 36:46SPEAKER_00: That nigga told us we can put out that record.
- 36:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I would have ended, I would've dented that post Malone shit off rip.
- 36:51SPEAKER_01: I'm telling you, I was right out the gun.
- 36:53SPEAKER_01: A lot of people paint me as a racist.
- 36:56SPEAKER_01: I'm not a racist.
- 36:57SPEAKER_01: I've had white friends in high school.
- 36:59SPEAKER_01: I don't I don't have any white friends today, but I am not opposed to having white friends.
- 37:04SPEAKER_01: I want that to be like people to know.
- 37:06SPEAKER_01: Are you a are you a bigot?
- 37:08SPEAKER_01: Nah, I don't think so.
- 37:11SPEAKER_01: But I think everybody's a bigot when they driving.
- 37:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 37:18SPEAKER_01: That's the only time like I would excuse a white man using the N-word is if he's in a car by himself.
- 37:25SPEAKER_01: And some shit happened on the road.
- 37:26SPEAKER_01: You just can't help yourself, son.
- 37:29SPEAKER_01: Nah.
- 37:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like some shit happened.
- 37:32SPEAKER_00: Oh, he'd be like, you black bitch, want to drive black bitch.
- 37:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like that's fine, though, right?
- 37:37SPEAKER_01: I think you can get all that shit off if you're in a car.
- 37:40SPEAKER_01: Like, I I deadass feel that way.
- 37:42SPEAKER_01: Because if they record me the shit, I say when I'm driving and some shit happened, I wouldn't have a job either.
- 37:47SPEAKER_01: So I don't think it's fair to put that on anybody.
- 37:50SPEAKER_00: I feel like my biggest problem be with women.
- 37:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I feel like every time like somebody does something wrong to me on the road, it's a woman.
- 37:59SPEAKER_00: I don't know how, like, why is that so likely when I'm driving?
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: But I swear.
- 38:06SPEAKER_00: Oh man.
- 38:07SPEAKER_00: I love women though, but that driving shit.
- 38:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so you're you're uh you're misogynist only when you're in the car.
- 38:15SPEAKER_01: But that's all I say.
- 38:16SPEAKER_01: I think racism only is allowed when you're in the car, or if it's funny.
- 38:20SPEAKER_01: That shit is funny.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: If the shit is funny, you gotta let it rock.
- 38:24SPEAKER_01: But yeah, so he came out recently and said that when he was being called uh a culture vulture, when he was like just getting into the game when he was young, he developed a drinking problem because of it.
- 38:36SPEAKER_01: Now, normally, I would feel bad because he was a child.
- 38:42SPEAKER_01: He was like 18, 19, 20, 21, whatever.
- 38:45SPEAKER_01: But the thing that made I didn't, yo, the thing that like sealed the deal with my issue with Pulse Malone was when he came out of his fucking hillbilly honky mouth and he said that if you want to feel something when you listen to the music, don't listen to rap.
- 39:02SPEAKER_01: And to me, I don't think you can ever come back from that.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: I don't care how old you were, I don't, I don't care, because you knew what you was doing when you made White Iverson.
- 39:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you knew you knew, like it's the same thing with Molly Cyrus.
- 39:13SPEAKER_01: Some people say Ariana Grande is on the same time, but I don't think so.
- 39:16SPEAKER_01: I think she's genuine.
- 39:18SPEAKER_01: But it's the same thing with Molly Cyrus.
- 39:20SPEAKER_01: Y'all knew what you was doing when you put on them the Jordans and made Mike will make you some beats.
- 39:24SPEAKER_01: Y'all knew what y'all was doing.
- 39:25SPEAKER_01: Like she said some weird shit too.
- 39:26SPEAKER_01: Like she had like a uh a moment or something like that, like when she left country music.
- 39:31SPEAKER_01: Like she she she recently came out and said some weird shit too.
- 39:33SPEAKER_01: And to me, people like that, they need to be dealt with harshly.
- 39:37SPEAKER_01: And yeah, if the result of that is you having a drinking problem, maybe that'll stop the next white person from doing it.
- 39:42SPEAKER_01: Because I really, I really hate that as black folk, we export our culture.
- 39:48SPEAKER_01: And it and it's not just hip-hop.
- 39:50SPEAKER_01: When you go to um the Grammys and you look at who won like the last reggae shit, it was like a group of white niggas.
- 39:57SPEAKER_01: You lying.
- 39:58SPEAKER_01: No, I'm dead serious.
- 39:59SPEAKER_01: I don't know if it was this Grammys or the last one, but it was a white group, like a cover band.
- 40:04SPEAKER_01: They they won like the reggae album of the year or something.
- 40:08SPEAKER_00: I'm gonna tell you right now, what's like crazy about but see that sometimes I don't really blame that on us like letting the culture get to other like uh races or other cultures.
- 40:21SPEAKER_00: Because one thing my mom told me when I was young, that cover shit, like I'm not, I'm definitely gonna say that they do this subconsciously, they do this on purpose.
- 40:32SPEAKER_00: It's because um my mom used to tell me, like, like I forgot what song it was, but she was like, she used to go to work and like her white friend was like showing her something, and it was like a cover of a black song, a popular black song at the time.
- 40:48SPEAKER_00: And instead of having like obviously black people singing the song, it was a white person, and they had like puppets singing the singing the song in the music video.
- 40:57SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 40:58SPEAKER_00: So it's like it's like they purposely, like, I don't think the lady was racist that was put like showing my mom what she was showing her, but I think that they purposely like I wouldn't say even remix it, because they're not even remix it.
- 41:12SPEAKER_00: I'll say they purposely, like, they love our shit, but they'll fucking cover it so it's acceptable.
- 41:17SPEAKER_00: So like that shit at the Grammys, I don't think that, I don't think like they was trying to take from the culture besides actually stealing the actual song.
- 41:27SPEAKER_00: I think they was trying to like make their own shit so like their own people could accept it.
- 41:32SPEAKER_00: So it's it's cool when I listen to it when when uh fucking John Doe makes it, but it's not cool when 2100 makes it.
- 41:39SPEAKER_00: You see what I'm saying?
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: Type shit.
- 41:40SPEAKER_00: Absolutely.
- 41:41SPEAKER_00: I think that's what that Grammy shit was.
- 41:43SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure though.
- 41:44SPEAKER_01: But and but this is my thing, right?
- 41:46SPEAKER_01: I don't have a problem with them.
- 41:48SPEAKER_01: Oh, I love reggae music, and I'm going to make reggae music, and I just happen to win Grammy.
- 41:56SPEAKER_01: I don't have a problem with that.
- 41:57SPEAKER_01: Because if I have a problem with that, then uh Asian person or Japanese person should have a problem with me liking anime and liking Dragon Ball Z.
- 42:05SPEAKER_00: Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
- 42:06SPEAKER_00: I don't see I don't see the correlation.
- 42:08SPEAKER_01: Oh, because I I I participate in the culture.
- 42:12SPEAKER_01: Like I I watch the shows, I play the video games.
- 42:16SPEAKER_01: I haven't done it, but there's black people that go and dress up as these characters who are clearly Asian people, and they dress up as them.
- 42:24SPEAKER_01: There's there's like a whole type of person to be called a weeb.
- 42:27SPEAKER_01: That's like a person that participates in the Japanese anime culture, and you don't have to be Japanese to do that.
- 42:34SPEAKER_00: So but I also feel like it's a thin line, though.
- 42:37SPEAKER_00: Like, if you was to go, if let's say you went to all the comic-cons and all the anime things that they have, and you participate, you dress up, and then eventually you go into you make your own anime and you make it specifically.
- 42:53SPEAKER_00: Like, I think it's okay for you to make it specifically for your culture, you putting it mix to it.
- 42:58SPEAKER_00: But now when I feel like white people have, I don't know if they do it on purpose.
- 43:03SPEAKER_00: This I don't know if they do on purpose, but I feel like a lot of times when they when they when they adjust to other cultures, they kind of try to make it their shit.
- 43:10SPEAKER_00: And this is how I've been feeling with the whole fucking even the plastic surgeries, they try to make it seem like fucking the big libs and that shit, like is a wave that like you know, yeah.
- 43:23SPEAKER_00: I want to like they deem acceptable, so now like this should be the standard.
- 43:27SPEAKER_00: And that's the same thing.
- 43:28SPEAKER_01: They don't go to the hospitals and they don't go to the uh the BBL doctors and say, I want to look like a black woman.
- 43:34SPEAKER_01: They say I'm gonna look like Kim Kardashian.
- 43:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, shit like that.
- 43:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, exactly.
- 43:38SPEAKER_01: Shit like that.
- 43:39SPEAKER_01: I like I agree with you that it's a thin line because I don't want to say, Oh, I don't think white people should make rap music.
- 43:46SPEAKER_01: I just think there's a way to do it.
- 43:47SPEAKER_01: Like to me, what what Molly Cyrus and Post Malone did was clearly culture vulturing because they made hip hop or black music to get lit.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Well, not in the case of Miley, because she was already lit.
- 44:02SPEAKER_01: The hip hop shit just kind of rebranded her.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: Yeah, not really.
- 44:04SPEAKER_01: I mean, once they got popping again, they they dipped and then shitted on the culture.
- 44:10SPEAKER_01: That it's the shitted part that I have a problem with.
- 44:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 44:12SPEAKER_01: Because you know who did it before them?
- 44:14SPEAKER_01: It was Kid Rock.
- 44:15SPEAKER_01: You know, you know who did it before him?
- 44:17SPEAKER_01: It was Marky Mark.
- 44:19SPEAKER_01: Mark Walker.
- 44:20SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 44:21SPEAKER_01: So that be my problem is that we continuously let this happen.
- 44:24SPEAKER_01: And then according to Tyler the Creator and some other people, they say the Ian kid is doing the same thing.
- 44:31SPEAKER_00: Oh, like, like he's fucking with the culture right now until until like he makes it, makes it, and then he's on.
- 44:39SPEAKER_00: Because my thing is like, if that nigga's that popular now, like what we're stopping him from doing it right this second.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: Because all I all I remember is White Iverson as this nigga's hip-hop hit.
- 44:53SPEAKER_00: And then like everything else, I feel like it's been um, because even that sunflower shit, that sunflower shit to me isn't hip-hop.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: It's like a fucking, it's a it's a it's a I guess you could consider the offspring of a fucking distant cousin because Sway Lee's on it.
- 45:07SPEAKER_01: No, but like he raps on it.
- 45:10SPEAKER_00: Uh, but see, I also feel like every song that you rap on isn't a rap song.
- 45:17SPEAKER_01: Nah, that's fair, but it's it's verses on that song, and it's uh it's on a movie soundtrack it that has a lot of hip hop shit on it.
- 45:26SPEAKER_01: I would say that's a rap song, honestly.
- 45:28SPEAKER_01: Um, so is uh congratulations with him and Quavo.
- 45:33SPEAKER_00: Ah, those his biggest hits?
- 45:37SPEAKER_01: Nah, nah, nah.
- 45:37SPEAKER_00: Or him him and 21, honestly, that nigga's whole.
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: See, I guess that this leads to your point.
- 45:43SPEAKER_00: Is this that honestly, to at least I guess maybe only I would know this because I'm I'm into hip hop, but all the shit that you name, including the one with him and 21, I would consider those his biggest hits.
- 45:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so his the biggest record he got is that sunflower shit with Sway Lee.
- 45:59SPEAKER_01: That's number two.
- 46:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and I don't know like his next 10.
- 46:03SPEAKER_00: I think I think 20, I think him and 21 Savage is is a crazy amount of times platinum.
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, rock star shit.
- 46:10SPEAKER_00: And the congratulations is also crazy.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: Slap, those all slaps.
- 46:14SPEAKER_00: So yeah, so we're talking about three.
- 46:16SPEAKER_00: You talk it's basically saying that's three hip hop songs, yeah.
- 46:19SPEAKER_01: Out of his maybe his 10.
- 46:24SPEAKER_01: But those three are are like in the top five, and that that to me is the problem.
- 46:29SPEAKER_01: Like you got popping.
- 46:31SPEAKER_01: Like he to me, the reason why he's the worst one out of all of them is because Molly Cyrus already had a career and she just needed a buzz, and she got it from Mike Will.
- 46:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah, uh Mark Wahlberg is uh is an actor.
- 46:46SPEAKER_01: So that nigga was on some acting black shit.
- 46:49SPEAKER_01: Uh Marky Mark and the funky.
- 46:51SPEAKER_01: That's acting cool.
- 46:52SPEAKER_01: Fuck that nigga too.
- 46:53SPEAKER_01: But Post Malone, he tried to make it.
- 46:57SPEAKER_01: And he I don't know if you ever seen that video of him in the fucking the glasses, the do-rag and the fucking short short.
- 47:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, that weird shit.
- 47:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, he tried to do the Doja Cat route where he was trying to troll his way into the music.
- 47:09SPEAKER_01: It didn't work though.
- 47:10SPEAKER_01: See, it worked for Doja Cat, it didn't work for him.
- 47:13SPEAKER_01: And then when that didn't work, he dropped White Iverson.
- 47:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 47:17SPEAKER_01: And then he and then as soon as he didn't need hip hop no more, that nigga shitted all over it.
- 47:23SPEAKER_01: And I will never I don't give a fuck.
- 47:24SPEAKER_01: What that nigga, no disrespect.
- 47:26SPEAKER_01: He can under live himself tomorrow.
- 47:28SPEAKER_01: And just like how I feel about certain other white folk, I'm not that's not gonna stop me from like telling the truth about the nigga.
- 47:34SPEAKER_01: Like Paul, Paul Walker, like kids.
- 47:39SPEAKER_01: Like just that's it.
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't care how y'all feel about him.
- 47:43SPEAKER_01: Like, shout out Tyrese.
- 47:44SPEAKER_01: And we're gonna get to that nigga later, but that nigga was dating a child.
- 47:49SPEAKER_01: Like, what are we what are we doing?
- 47:50SPEAKER_01: Elvis Presley.
- 47:52SPEAKER_01: That nigga was dating a child.
- 47:54SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but that's besides the point.
- 47:57SPEAKER_01: I just personally I don't feel bad for Post Malone.
- 48:00SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.
- 48:00SPEAKER_01: You developed a drinking problem because you wanted to be a culture vulture.
- 48:04SPEAKER_01: And I I just keep saying this all the time.
- 48:06SPEAKER_01: Don't fuck with hip hop.
- 48:08SPEAKER_01: If you go against hip-hop, I got a problem with you.
- 48:10SPEAKER_01: You go against I got a problem with you.
- 48:13SPEAKER_00: Nah, I definitely agree.
- 48:14SPEAKER_00: I definitely agree.
- 48:15SPEAKER_01: I don't think he's a bad guy.
- 48:17SPEAKER_01: Like, I don't know him.
- 48:18SPEAKER_01: I I would I would converse with him, I would talk to him, I would have him on the podcast.
- 48:21SPEAKER_01: I would give him the ability to explain himself.
- 48:23SPEAKER_01: I would I would have a drink or post Malone.
- 48:26SPEAKER_01: But it's not gonna change how I feel.
- 48:27SPEAKER_01: It really isn't.
- 48:28SPEAKER_01: Like you seem to be.
- 48:29SPEAKER_00: And it shouldn't, because that nigga, if if if that's true what you're saying about that nigga, and I definitely I've heard the comments, so I I know the comment, the comment itself is true.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: But if he really feels a way about hip-hop as it's like some feelingless genre, then then I feel like you have the complete right to be like, yeah, nah, this nigga, he shouldn't even be allowed to like work with our artist.
- 48:54SPEAKER_00: He shouldn't be able to fucking list his music inside the hip-hop genre category because this nigga doesn't respect the culture.
- 49:01SPEAKER_00: And black people, black people, or even people of the culture in general, should be like, like, this nigga, this nigga can't be a part of this.
- 49:08SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because I s I felt the same way about the 6ix9ine thing.
- 49:13SPEAKER_01: Where people people were like, oh, and niggas gonna still make music with him.
- 49:17SPEAKER_01: I was like, fuck the music.
- 49:18SPEAKER_01: What about the people that are making his beats?
- 49:20SPEAKER_01: If they black, they shouldn't, they should just shouldn't make his beats.
- 49:23SPEAKER_01: The women in his music videos, they they of the culture, they black and hispanic women.
- 49:28SPEAKER_01: They should just be like, no, we not participating in that.
- 49:30SPEAKER_01: You sent some niggas up north on some rat and shit, and you was benefiting from them.
- 49:36SPEAKER_01: Like, you would not be 6'9 today if shoddy wasn't at your back and you was running around telling everybody to suck your dick.
- 49:42SPEAKER_01: That nigga was beefing with real gangsters.
- 49:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 49:44SPEAKER_01: And the only reason he felt comfortable to do so was because of shoddy.
- 49:49SPEAKER_00: And my thing is the reason why that wouldn't work is unfortunately I feel like in the black culture, there's too many people desperate to like change their situation.
- 50:01SPEAKER_00: I'm not saying black people are obviously the most pro uh poverty-stricken people.
- 50:07SPEAKER_00: That's not what I'm saying.
- 50:08SPEAKER_00: I just feel like there's a lot of people that's looking for a way.
- 50:11SPEAKER_00: So if if if fucking Post Malone hit, like you probably would stand on business if Post Malone said, you know what, gas money, I see this shit being something.
- 50:20SPEAKER_00: I want to be on the pod, and uh you guys can ask me all types of questions.
- 50:24SPEAKER_01: No, no, I'm let him on the pod.
- 50:25SPEAKER_01: You let him on the pod, right?
- 50:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah, but I would I'm not softballing it though.
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: You would but do you respect him as a person?
- 50:33SPEAKER_01: No, right?
- 50:34SPEAKER_01: As a person, I don't know him.
- 50:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah, so I can't say I don't respect him, but I do not respect how he spoke about hip-hop.
- 50:43SPEAKER_00: About hip-hop.
- 50:44SPEAKER_01: So I would have him on the podcast, but I wouldn't be up there like, no disrespect to Charlemagne or anybody.
- 50:50SPEAKER_01: But I wouldn't be like awesome, Charlemagne shit, like laughing and joking with you after what you said.
- 50:55SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 50:55SPEAKER_01: I'm not saying the conversation couldn't get to that.
- 50:57SPEAKER_01: Maybe if I sat down with him and he explained, I don't I don't think there's anything he could honest, to be completely honest with you, that he could have said to me outside of I was wrong and I'm sorry, that he could have explained to me how like that statement made sense.
- 51:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but I would be I would be grilling him.
- 51:15SPEAKER_01: Like if he came on a pocket.
- 51:16SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you would be like, Oh, yeah, this is the opportunity to really like let me understand where you was coming from with those comments.
- 51:22SPEAKER_00: I basically what I was kind of getting at is that like if somebody like if I didn't like somebody, like if I like if I hated Drake as an artist, as a person, I couldn't stand his face.
- 51:35SPEAKER_00: But if I was a rapper that needed that Drake stimulus package and take this stimulus package, that's what I'm saying.
- 51:42SPEAKER_00: I think in the in the the hip hop culture or even the black culture, a lot of people, actually, I won't even say the black culture because I feel like uh this clout shit is like has has gone to everybody in the in a certain generation.
- 51:55SPEAKER_00: Hockey.
- 51:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, shit like that.
- 51:57SPEAKER_00: Like, I could imagine when I was growing up, women wasn't talking like that in fear of like everybody would think that they like, you know, hoes or like, you know, you can't be with a woman like that.
- 52:07SPEAKER_00: But now, clout got clout got women talking about they're they'll suck anything up, they got niggas out here fucking doing whatever.
- 52:16SPEAKER_00: But what I was kind of getting at with the post-balone shit is this I just feel like in and in hip hop culture, I guess I'll say, is there's just too many people that's not willing to stand on that shit because if the opportunity comes for their life to change, they not gonna say no.
- 52:30SPEAKER_00: If I get to make a beat for a nigga that I know is gonna change my life, fuck if he say uh black people, black people are lazy.
- 52:39SPEAKER_00: You feel me?
- 52:39SPEAKER_00: Like if I get to make shirts for Donald Trump and shit, like it, would I really stand on business if I know it's gonna change my life?
- 52:45SPEAKER_00: I feel like until that shit happens, it's easier to.
- 52:48SPEAKER_00: I feel like we're just gonna constantly run into niggas that come into the game, take the shit for what it is, and then be like, hey, fuck y'all niggas.
- 52:55SPEAKER_00: This is just a stepping stone.
- 52:57SPEAKER_01: Nah, but can I can I tell you what would solve all of that?
- 53:00SPEAKER_00: Mm-hmm.
- 53:01SPEAKER_00: A union.
- 53:04SPEAKER_00: Definitely.
- 53:05SPEAKER_01: If hip hop had a union, to as I pay my union dues, every beat I make, I they take a percentage of it, and it's in this pot, and I don't, my family is good.
- 53:18SPEAKER_01: I I got I got health insurance, I got affordable housing.
- 53:22SPEAKER_01: I you see the thing is, the problem with hip-hop is there's no middle class.
- 53:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's either you one of them or you're not in you're not in hip-hop.
- 53:33SPEAKER_01: Like the same Mitch nigga, like we just said, he made he been making beats.
- 53:37SPEAKER_01: But because there's no there's no union, there's no, hey, you make beats, they they alright.
- 53:43SPEAKER_01: You you might uh you know, a key clock wrapped on one of your beats.
- 53:47SPEAKER_01: So you should be able to live a comfortable lifestyle for the rest of your life and have health insurance.
- 53:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, because hip-hop makes hip-hop is a multi-billion dollar industry.
- 53:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's no reason why this there should be anybody that is a part of hip-hop and that they gotta be like, I'ma work with this person because I need this look.
- 54:07SPEAKER_00: But see, also, I mean, because what I would do, if I'm if I'm an agent now, or if I'm a rapper now, I would whatever label I sign with, unless like I decided to go completely um independent, I would just work that into the deal.
- 54:22SPEAKER_01: What?
- 54:23SPEAKER_00: Because my thing about I do I don't know how the union shit would work, like especially if I'm independent.
- 54:27SPEAKER_00: If I'm an independent artist, like a nigga like uh, like the nigga I was saying about like the La Russell, or in the beginning, before Chance signed to anybody, or if he was ever really independent.
- 54:37SPEAKER_00: A nigga like that, how does he get involved in the union if he's independent?
- 54:41SPEAKER_01: Because you can't you can't make hip hop music if you're not part of the union.
- 54:45SPEAKER_01: You gotta you gotta I gotta I gotta sign up for the union.
- 54:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you gotta pay dues.
- 54:50SPEAKER_01: It's it's just like a real union.
- 54:52SPEAKER_01: That's the only way it works because we all have an investor interest.
- 54:55SPEAKER_01: From Jay-Z to fucking Dame Dash, we all in the same.
- 54:59SPEAKER_01: I don't gotta like you.
- 55:00SPEAKER_01: Nigga, I'm in a union right now.
- 55:02SPEAKER_01: I don't know, I don't even know who my union rep is.
- 55:04SPEAKER_01: But all I know is if that nigga gets sick and I get sick, we both get to go to the doctor.
- 55:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 55:10SPEAKER_01: When when I retire and he retires, it might not be the same check, but we both get in a check for the rest of our life.
- 55:16SPEAKER_01: If I die and he dies, my kid is my kid gets my the money that I put in, and his kids get their money that they put in.
- 55:22SPEAKER_01: I think that's the only way it works.
- 55:24SPEAKER_01: So you want to be independent, cool, you could be an independent contractor, but you gotta pay your dues and you in hip hop.
- 55:30SPEAKER_01: So now you get to make hip-hop music.
- 55:32SPEAKER_01: And this is how it would work.
- 55:34SPEAKER_01: Let's let's remix it.
- 55:35SPEAKER_01: We go back 10 years.
- 55:37SPEAKER_01: We have a union, a post Malone comes up.
- 55:39SPEAKER_01: I want to make a song called White Iverson.
- 55:41SPEAKER_01: Who makes the beat?
- 55:43SPEAKER_01: Somebody that's in hip-hop, all right.
- 55:46SPEAKER_01: You have you you can't get a hip-hop beat, you can't get a hip-hop uh listing, you can't, you can't, you can't list this music as hip-hop if you are a rapper, you can't if you're not in the union.
- 56:00SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 56:00SPEAKER_01: And then once you sign up for the union, the proceeds of this song for in forever gotta go back into this pot.
- 56:09SPEAKER_01: Now he can still go off and make those comments.
- 56:12SPEAKER_01: It wouldn't have changed anything outside of the fact that, oh, now we could just revoke your membership.
- 56:17SPEAKER_01: We keep the song, we keep all the songs.
- 56:19SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you out of hip-hop.
- 56:21SPEAKER_01: There's no there's no pension for you no more.
- 56:23SPEAKER_01: There's no, oh yeah, 10 years after I apologize, and now I'm gonna make hip-hop music again because the country shit ain't working no more.
- 56:31SPEAKER_01: Because that's the problem, is that they get to dibble and dabble, shit on it, come back.
- 56:36SPEAKER_01: Because you telling me he's never gonna make another hip-hop record?
- 56:38SPEAKER_01: I promise you he does.
- 56:39SPEAKER_01: I promise you he does.
- 56:41SPEAKER_00: Of course.
- 56:41SPEAKER_00: Because hip, I feel like hip-hop is the fastest, the fastest flip for like uh music.
- 56:48SPEAKER_00: Like when you make a hip-hop song, like I'm pretty sure it happens with certain country songs or certain pop songs.
- 56:53SPEAKER_00: But I feel like hip-hop songs like that shit turns into a TikTok thing really quick.
- 56:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it could be in a fucking movie soundtrack really quick.
- 57:02SPEAKER_00: I feel like other like other genres, like their timeless music gets like repeated.
- 57:06SPEAKER_00: I I really I can't tell you what's an old country song or a new country song.
- 57:10SPEAKER_00: So I could have watched the movie yesterday and the shit was a new song.
- 57:13SPEAKER_00: But I just feel like with hip hop, like you could you could make a song tomorrow and then you could be getting a crazy crazy endorsement deals next week.
- 57:21SPEAKER_00: I feel like in other genres, it's more like a steady pace of success.
- 57:25SPEAKER_01: Yep, you need 10 years.
- 57:26SPEAKER_01: You need they want the song rotation for 10 years before they they like, oh yeah, this is a classic.
- 57:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, type shit, yeah.
- 57:34SPEAKER_01: That that this is actually a really good segue into the whole uh young Miami Joe Budden thing.
- 57:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, OD.
- 57:40SPEAKER_01: Pump it up.
- 57:43SPEAKER_00: That shit went gold recently.
- 57:45SPEAKER_00: That shit came out 2009, nigga.
- 57:48SPEAKER_00: What was you doing that year?
- 57:49SPEAKER_00: Son.
- 57:50SPEAKER_01: I was in middle school, right?
- 57:53SPEAKER_00: Was it 2009?
- 57:55SPEAKER_01: I should I that shit might have came out in 07.
- 57:58SPEAKER_00: It came out.
- 58:00SPEAKER_00: I know when you got served came out.
- 58:02SPEAKER_00: Remember, that was the last song.
- 58:04SPEAKER_00: That was the the fucking dance battle of all dance battles.
- 58:07SPEAKER_00: That was a theme for that.
- 58:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 58:09SPEAKER_00: When that shit came out, it was kind of already a little old by then, like maybe three years.
- 58:14SPEAKER_00: So whenever that you movie came out, a couple years prior that song came out.
- 58:20SPEAKER_00: Nigga.
- 58:22SPEAKER_00: I'm in my 30s now.
- 58:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 58:24SPEAKER_01: I I think Young Miami says she was nine years old when that song came out, some shit like that.
- 58:30SPEAKER_00: That's crazy.
- 58:32SPEAKER_00: That's crazy.
- 58:33SPEAKER_01: So the story goes Joe Budden received his uh gold plaque from LL Cool J because the song is a Def Jam record, and LL Cool J is Mr.
- 58:42SPEAKER_01: Def Jam.
- 58:43SPEAKER_01: And he presented it to him on the pod, which was a great moment.
- 58:46SPEAKER_01: I didn't really fuck with Joe, I don't really know him too well.
- 58:48SPEAKER_01: I respect Joe.
- 58:49SPEAKER_01: I respect what he's done in podcasting.
- 58:52SPEAKER_01: Um, some of the shit he does is kind of weird and lame, but that's a conversation for another day.
- 58:57SPEAKER_01: Um but it was dope to see him get his flowers from hip-hop, because that's hip hop.
- 59:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and young Miami laughs.
- 59:06SPEAKER_01: Like she gets on Twitter, she she like subs it and laughs at it.
- 59:10SPEAKER_01: And then I don't know who told her to do that.
- 59:13SPEAKER_01: Everybody starts shitting on her, rightfully so.
- 59:15SPEAKER_01: And I don't think Joe has responded yet.
- 59:17SPEAKER_01: I think he might have on his recent pop, I haven't listened.
- 59:20SPEAKER_00: And who now he he fake responded to the tweeter and said it would be too easy.
- 59:27SPEAKER_01: And he's right.
- 59:29SPEAKER_00: Because who the fuck is young Miami?
- 59:34SPEAKER_00: In the in the grand in the in the in the grand scheme of this uh conversation, she's nobody, but nigga, you know who young Miami is, nigga.
- 59:42SPEAKER_00: That's you know what I mean.
- 59:43SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean by that, nigga.
- 59:45SPEAKER_00: She's a city girl, nigga.
- 59:46SPEAKER_00: That's a moment.
- 59:48SPEAKER_00: That's a moment, nigga.
- 59:49SPEAKER_01: Oh, yeah.
- 59:49SPEAKER_01: I would say the city girls moment was definitely bigger than Joe Budden's rap career.
- 59:53SPEAKER_01: Like, I'm not I'm not even gonna debate that.
- 59:56SPEAKER_01: But you said something that's actually genius about, and I'm gonna let you expound on it, but who wrote that?
- 1:00:03SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you, your man's the man that started this whole thing, little yachty, little boat.
- 1:00:10SPEAKER_00: And who wrote Joe Button shit?
- 1:00:12SPEAKER_00: Joe Joseph Button.
- 1:00:15SPEAKER_00: And that's that's his last name.
- 1:00:17SPEAKER_00: That's hip-hop.
- 1:00:19SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you, and then that and that's my only issue with Carisha is just that like I feel like nigga hip-hop with even if it takes Joe Button a thousand years to get a fucking gold record or platinum record, the fact that it was his idea, his cadence, his flow, his hard work, nigga, that that means that that to me that means more than a nigga that goes platinum in a day over a song that they didn't write.
- 1:00:50SPEAKER_00: So I think Carisha, I understand she has this whole problem with Joe Biden, but like you gotta pick which which battle which which battle you wanna take because that that's that that's a that weapon that you drew for that, that shit was a fucking cotton ball.
- 1:01:06SPEAKER_00: That shit was a piece of paper.
- 1:01:07SPEAKER_00: That I that that wasn't even gonna stick at all.
- 1:01:10SPEAKER_01: Then she had the nerve to s to to back up her tweet with, oh, why y'all all attacking me?
- 1:01:16SPEAKER_01: Uh protect black women.
- 1:01:17SPEAKER_01: And then they had to learn her, they had to learn her something though.
- 1:01:20SPEAKER_01: Because she was on Twitter when Diddy was rocking, she told another black woman, shut up before I have my man make you eat my pussy.
- 1:01:30SPEAKER_01: Diddy did it.
- 1:01:32SPEAKER_00: Alright, hold on.
- 1:01:33SPEAKER_00: Alright, my thing is I got a question.
- 1:01:35SPEAKER_00: And I really would I rate I hate to put these two side by side because I feel like it really ain't fair.
- 1:01:41SPEAKER_00: But in this day and age, which one gets used more?
- 1:01:46SPEAKER_00: White woman tears or hashtag protect black women.
- 1:01:52SPEAKER_00: You see, now before you answer, I'm not saying that they're the same.
- 1:01:56SPEAKER_00: I think white women's tears gets abused, like get like if that happens, the world stops.
- 1:02:02SPEAKER_00: But I definitely feel like protect black women is like, hold on.
- 1:02:07SPEAKER_00: It's like the same thing as calling niggas sassy.
- 1:02:09SPEAKER_00: I feel like these are the same like choices that they choose from.
- 1:02:12SPEAKER_00: That like, all right, everybody stop what we're doing.
- 1:02:14SPEAKER_00: Let's protect let's stop what we're doing.
- 1:02:17SPEAKER_00: Like, you feel me?
- 1:02:19SPEAKER_00: Because what type and she knows it because, like, bro, you wrong.
- 1:02:22SPEAKER_00: Shorty, you wrong.
- 1:02:24SPEAKER_00: Why the fuck would you tell me protect black women?
- 1:02:26SPEAKER_00: What the fuck?
- 1:02:27SPEAKER_00: You know that's near and dear to my heart.
- 1:02:29SPEAKER_00: I have a black mother.
- 1:02:30SPEAKER_00: So why the fuck would you play on my emotional heartstrings like that and tell me, oh, everybody chill, protect black women?
- 1:02:36SPEAKER_00: That's crazy, bro.
- 1:02:38SPEAKER_01: I think protect black women is half court shot.
- 1:02:43SPEAKER_01: I think white women is a free throw.
- 1:02:46SPEAKER_01: It's one point, yeah, yeah.
- 1:02:48SPEAKER_01: It's one point.
- 1:02:50SPEAKER_01: Because when that protect black women goes in, it's a heave.
- 1:02:53SPEAKER_01: It's a but it's three points.
- 1:02:55unknown: It's three points, though.
- 1:02:57SPEAKER_01: Protect white women is a free throw.
- 1:03:01SPEAKER_01: That's the only difference.
- 1:03:02SPEAKER_01: Everybody gets on that shit.
- 1:03:03SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that shit is right there, bro.
- 1:03:06SPEAKER_01: If you miss it, it can miss, you can miss a free throw.
- 1:03:09SPEAKER_01: Don't get me wrong.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_01: You stop.
- 1:03:10SPEAKER_01: I've seen I've seen this shit work.
- 1:03:13SPEAKER_01: Clank clank.
- 1:03:15SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 1:03:16SPEAKER_01: But if you miss a heave, niggas is like, ah, yeah, he missed it.
- 1:03:21SPEAKER_01: So that's how to compare those two things.
- 1:03:23SPEAKER_00: Oh, that shit is wicked, though.
- 1:03:25SPEAKER_00: Like, she's like, I can't believe she said that shit, man.
- 1:03:29SPEAKER_00: That shit breaks my heart, man.
- 1:03:31SPEAKER_00: We gotta stop doing that, man.
- 1:03:33SPEAKER_01: I wanted to believe in the Carisha please, but she fucked the bag up when she had Saucy interview her about the Diddy thing.
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_01: Oh yeah.
- 1:03:42SPEAKER_01: She she could have went crazy.
- 1:03:44SPEAKER_01: She could have had a moment.
- 1:03:45SPEAKER_01: Like uh, she could have been like the black Boba Walters type shit.
- 1:03:49SPEAKER_01: If she could have got somebody with credibility to actually grill her on that and and like pressed her about the Diddy thing and kind of like, she could have like really had a moment, and I would have respected her as a podcaster slash journalist if she would have gotten somebody.
- 1:04:02SPEAKER_01: But she she just had Saucy do it.
- 1:04:04SPEAKER_00: No disrespect to Saucy, but it's like But it's like yeah, like what the fuck yeah, exactly.
- 1:04:09SPEAKER_00: She should have took her ass to Gail King, like uh Robert Kelly.
- 1:04:13SPEAKER_01: So yeah, exactly.
- 1:04:14SPEAKER_01: I would have to make it a moment.
- 1:04:16SPEAKER_01: I'm talking about this.
- 1:04:18SPEAKER_01: I think she's scared.
- 1:04:19SPEAKER_01: No, of course.
- 1:04:20SPEAKER_01: Because there's it's still jail time looming.
- 1:04:22SPEAKER_01: Nobody's gone to jail yet.
- 1:04:24SPEAKER_01: Like, that's that's the thing.
- 1:04:25SPEAKER_01: Something's coming.
- 1:04:27SPEAKER_01: They got those tapes, and she's talking that I had my man make you eat my.
- 1:04:31SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 1:04:32SPEAKER_00: You knew what's up.
- 1:04:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's in trouble.
- 1:04:35SPEAKER_00: They I seen I've seen quite a few shit.
- 1:04:37SPEAKER_00: Some people were shitting on Cassie actually, too, talking about like, yeah, she she knew what was going on with Kim and all that.
- 1:04:43SPEAKER_00: I'm like, yeah, this is why the internet's dangerous, because if none of this shit is actually factually backed up, that's pretty crazy how niggas is saying shit like this.
- 1:04:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but that that's one of the biggest problems with the internet is that everybody's opinion it can be heard, and you don't know what's fact from fiction.
- 1:05:00SPEAKER_01: I seen a nigga on Twitter recently, and we could we could talk about politics after this.
- 1:05:05SPEAKER_01: He said that he used to be like a male nanny in um in Manhattan around Trump's kids.
- 1:05:14SPEAKER_01: And he said Baron Trump, which is the nigga that's like 6'8, he said that nigga is crazy, like something's wrong with him.
- 1:05:21SPEAKER_01: Like he's he said that he injured another kid, he killed a pet, and he said something on Twitter.
- 1:05:29SPEAKER_01: You see, bro, and when niggas was coming at him, he started posting pictures.
- 1:05:36SPEAKER_01: Like he's like, I was there.
- 1:05:37SPEAKER_01: That that don't make it real either.
- 1:05:40SPEAKER_01: But he had pictures definitely of being in a park with all Trump's kid and a bunch of other kids.
- 1:05:46SPEAKER_01: He's like, nah, bro, I was a male nanny, and that nigga Baron Trump, he has issues like mental health issues.
- 1:05:53SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, uh oh.
- 1:05:54SPEAKER_00: I'm telling you, man, this is this is where and as a mental issue.
- 1:06:04SPEAKER_01: I think um the older you are, man and woman, I know with women, every every year after 35 or it starts at 35, uh it's a 1% chance increase.
- 1:06:18SPEAKER_01: And that's not including all the other factors.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:06:22SPEAKER_01: That's just age.
- 1:06:26SPEAKER_01: 1% or every year after 35 or starting at 35, that that should increase.
- 1:06:31SPEAKER_01: That's that's crazy.
- 1:06:34SPEAKER_03: That's why you got that's why you gotta get in, get out.
- 1:06:37SPEAKER_00: That's a fact.
- 1:06:39SPEAKER_01: But um, speaking of politics, right?
- 1:06:42SPEAKER_01: Uh did you watch the uh DNC?
- 1:06:45SPEAKER_00: Uh yes, I did.
- 1:06:46SPEAKER_00: I well, I watched Parkshaw.
- 1:06:47SPEAKER_00: I wouldn't say I sat there and uh because it was a it was a couple days, right?
- 1:06:51SPEAKER_01: I couldn't even tell you.
- 1:06:52SPEAKER_01: You know what's funny?
- 1:06:53SPEAKER_01: I don't watch anything no more.
- 1:06:54SPEAKER_01: I see everything eclipse.
- 1:06:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's kind of how I take everything.
- 1:06:58SPEAKER_00: But um, nah, nigga, we lying.
- 1:07:00SPEAKER_00: Um in Vegas, the first day we watched, um, we didn't watch a lot of it.
- 1:07:06SPEAKER_00: But remember, we was watching.
- 1:07:07SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that shows on the TV.
- 1:07:08SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so we we we I I wouldn't say we really was actively watching it.
- 1:07:13SPEAKER_00: It was just on TV.
- 1:07:15SPEAKER_00: But um, I think that was actually all I watched.
- 1:07:18SPEAKER_00: So I lied.
- 1:07:19SPEAKER_00: So I've seen clips like you and that.
- 1:07:22SPEAKER_01: I didn't watch it, but I watched it.
- 1:07:24SPEAKER_01: I and the internet watched it, the new version.
- 1:07:26SPEAKER_01: So you know me and you have this uh heated debate about um what uh these people be doing, having black folk, celebrities, basketball players, actors, actresses.
- 1:07:36SPEAKER_01: That shit only happens to us.
- 1:07:37SPEAKER_01: That's how I feel, at least.
- 1:07:39SPEAKER_01: But I I got one thing to say.
- 1:07:42SPEAKER_01: I don't care how you feel about Barack Obama and Michelle Obama as uh politicians of people, but Barack Obama is the greatest speaker in the history of speaking.
- 1:07:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 1:07:55SPEAKER_00: I would I wouldn't disagree with you.
- 1:07:57SPEAKER_01: That motherfucker right there.

- 1:08:48SPEAKER_00: I know that's some white folk shit.
- 1:08:51SPEAKER_00: Is this that like is that the best if it ain't if it ain't the N-word, the best thing you would come up with is that?
- 1:08:59SPEAKER_00: Yeah, she's a it's a it's a real there's a there's a conspiracy.
- 1:09:06SPEAKER_00: I actually know a trans.
- 1:09:08SPEAKER_00: And um apparently.
- 1:09:10SPEAKER_00: Oh, that's just put the E out there.
- 1:09:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's just like it's a Y, nigga.

- 1:09:18SPEAKER_00: That's what it sounds like.
- 1:09:20unknown: It's a Y.
- 1:09:21SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I gotta I gotta get my man's uh 108, that's the time.
- 1:09:24SPEAKER_01: 10109.
- 1:09:25SPEAKER_01: 108.
- 1:09:26SPEAKER_01: That's a nigga that blocked uh bleak down.
- 1:09:28SPEAKER_01: I'm sorry.

- 1:10:22SPEAKER_00: Because because what I could say, and like I haven't had no children yet, so I don't I want to watch what I say.
- 1:10:30SPEAKER_00: But if if you give it if you give birth to a child that has mental issues, if you want to say that that this nigga loves uh little boys and shit like that, then we can just say, or people could say, because I'm not a Democrat.
- 1:10:42SPEAKER_00: So if you have if you give birth or you you have a son that like Joe Biden's son has a crackhead, has mental issues, we can say that you're not fit to run this country.
- 1:10:53SPEAKER_00: But to me, that isn't true.

- 1:11:15SPEAKER_00: I ain't defending that.
- 1:11:16SPEAKER_00: But whatever your wife is, or whoever you choose to marry and love, that shit ain't got nothing with you gotta do with you running the country.
- 1:11:23SPEAKER_00: And I feel like I feel like Barack Obama, besides not doing enough for black people, I feel like he was a great leader.
- 1:11:29SPEAKER_00: That's all I gotta say towards that.
- 1:11:32SPEAKER_01: I agree.
- 1:11:33SPEAKER_01: Um, I don't know what this shit is looking like on your end, but this this shit is looking strange on my end.

- 1:12:03SPEAKER_01: That's that's what this shit be doing.
- 1:12:05SPEAKER_00: But um But I feel like it froze the last time we was in the um when when I when I pot it on my computer, it froze.
- 1:12:11SPEAKER_00: Me and you, we froze on that shit.
