- 0:03Speaker 1: to be our rate hikes possibly in the cards today
- 0:06Speaker 1: we'll break it down for you. Let's get started. You
- 0:08Speaker 1: want to think our sponsor that is Tangent, where you

- 0:20Speaker 1: very easy to set up. Use our link down below.
- 0:22Speaker 1: It's going to give a little bit of a discount.
- 0:23Speaker 1: You guys can put anything on it. That's a digital asset.
- 0:25Speaker 1: You're going to love it. Check it out. If you're
- 0:27Speaker 1: brand new to crypto, this should be on your checklist
- 0:29Speaker 1: to get into. And that is self custody. Take a
- 0:33Speaker 1: look at that. Because Tantem is a great one. Let's
- 0:35Speaker 1: get into it today. I want to lead off with
- 0:37Speaker 1: Heather Long here hitting on how inflation is really eating
- 0:41Speaker 1: away at one of the core strengths of America, and
- 0:43Speaker 1: that is the idea against wage gains. Now CPI inflation
- 0:47Speaker 1: and inflation in the in the past year, a three
- 0:49Speaker 1: point eight wage gains holding only three point six. This
- 0:52Speaker 1: is another big hit on what the American economy is
- 0:55Speaker 1: dealing with right now, especially with these new prints coming out.
- 0:59Speaker 1: You look at that along with this, which is just
- 1:02Speaker 1: a line list and quite possibly underreported of how much
- 1:06Speaker 1: increase that we have seen in all key areas including energy, gasoline, airfare,
- 1:13Speaker 1: energy inflation, fruits and vegetables, hospital services, motor vehicle repair,
- 1:18Speaker 1: all of these up considerably, guys, So how much is
- 1:22Speaker 1: this affecting you? Because I think this is the key.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Are you feeling this at the pump? Are you feeling
- 1:28Speaker 1: this in everyday life? Let me know what it's some
- 1:29Speaker 1: comments s downblow what's the most expensive or the biggest
- 1:32Speaker 1: lifts that you've seen in your own budgets. Further into this,
- 1:35Speaker 1: Pompiliano says it should go down, without saying that midterm
- 1:37Speaker 1: elections will essentially come down to whether the cost of
- 1:40Speaker 1: living is going up or down for an average American.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And when you look at the current midterm layout, you've
- 1:47Speaker 1: got the Republicans holding right now back up a little bit.
- 1:51Speaker 1: This may change. I anticipate this could shift back to
- 1:55Speaker 1: a blue wave if we continue to see these numbers
- 1:59Speaker 1: climb over the summer, So be on the lookout for
- 2:02Speaker 1: this one for sure. Kevin Warsh, of course, gets confirmed
- 2:06Speaker 1: it is now official. He is the new Federal Reserve chair.
- 2:10Speaker 1: And of course this is all happening right now as
- 2:13Speaker 1: we are seeing inflation starting to impact. He is going
- 2:16Speaker 1: into a buzzsaw. And when you look at FED rates
- 2:20Speaker 1: right now, the potential for a hike actually hiked up
- 2:24Speaker 1: to thirty one percent. This is a FED rate hike potential.
- 2:28Speaker 1: The question is is whether or not Walsh will go
- 2:31Speaker 1: head to head with Trump if it gets into a
- 2:34Speaker 1: scenario of whether it's a pause or a hike. Let
- 2:37Speaker 1: me know what you guys think. Do you think he'll
- 2:39Speaker 1: comply with Trump's wishes to pause and or lower rates,
- 2:43Speaker 1: or do you think he is going to come at
- 2:44Speaker 1: Trump with a rate hike which would be a huge
- 2:48Speaker 1: hit going into the markets. Americans now also spending down
- 2:52Speaker 1: their savings. This is a problem because it's getting into
- 2:55Speaker 1: some of the core areas that most Americans deal with.
- 2:58Speaker 1: You've got negative cash flow now that are hitting places
- 3:01Speaker 1: like craft Hinds, which is all in the food sector.
- 3:04Speaker 1: You also have comments from the McDonald's CEO, Christopher Kempsinski,
- 3:08Speaker 1: who also talked about rising prices all disproportionately hitting low
- 3:12Speaker 1: income consumers, which is their biggest category in terms of sales.
- 3:16Speaker 1: This gets into major Wall Street impact across a lot
- 3:20Speaker 1: of stocks and also I think a lot of sectors
- 3:23Speaker 1: that people don't realize that could roll over into other
- 3:27Speaker 1: sectors in the market. One of the things you got
- 3:29Speaker 1: to look at is the delinquent credit card balances which
- 3:32Speaker 1: are about to surpass financial crisis record. This gets very,
- 3:37Speaker 1: very crazy, guys, because we are dealing with something that
- 3:41Speaker 1: is ramping up very quickly. Could this be the beginning
- 3:44Speaker 1: of it? That's the real question in the market, and
- 3:47Speaker 1: it makes people pause a little bit in the sense
- 3:50Speaker 1: of how to deal with this because the factor really
- 3:53Speaker 1: flows into this right here, and that is where's the
- 3:56Speaker 1: market at today? Burry is saying that stock markets is
- 4:00Speaker 1: literally minutes away from a bloody crash. Could we see
- 4:03Speaker 1: that there's more than two hundred and fifty billion wipe
- 4:05Speaker 1: from the US stock market the open This is just
- 4:08Speaker 1: this morning. Anticipation is that we're going to continue to
- 4:11Speaker 1: see this start to put pressure on, especially as people
- 4:14Speaker 1: start to vet out what these inflation numbers mean to
- 4:18Speaker 1: the markets. Other things that, of course you have to
- 4:20Speaker 1: look at. Even Jamie Diamond has worn there's way too
- 4:23Speaker 1: much exuberance in the market. Is this the scenario that
- 4:28Speaker 1: we've been talking about for a while and have had
- 4:30Speaker 1: a few analysts point to, and that is, is there
- 4:34Speaker 1: a potential pullback? And then one other thing you've got
- 4:37Speaker 1: is whether or not the rest of the market is nervous.
- 4:40Speaker 1: Now I've got a clip here that will break this down.
- 4:42Speaker 1: Should you be Take a.
- 4:43Speaker 2: Look, guys, this has been a huge run to the
- 4:47Speaker 2: upside since March, and you know, everybody talks about the
- 4:50Speaker 2: various superlatives that we've seen, and I have to wonder
- 4:53Speaker 2: against this backchop of a very complex geopolitical environment, one
- 4:57Speaker 2: where we're also seeing high oil prices, is what do
- 5:01Speaker 2: you think the sustainability is of the equity market rally
- 5:05Speaker 2: at this point in time?
- 5:05Speaker 3: See? Look, does it make me nervous?
- 5:08Speaker 4: Know?
- 5:09Speaker 3: Does it make me understand that at some point we're
- 5:12Speaker 3: going to have a massive intra day unwind and momentum. Absolutely,
- 5:16Speaker 3: there's going to be day. I said this last week,
- 5:18Speaker 3: there will be a day where the momentum factor is
- 5:20Speaker 3: down four to five percent in a very tight period
- 5:25Speaker 3: of time. You're talking about the momentum factor being up
- 5:28Speaker 3: thirty percent so far in the current quarter.
- 5:33Speaker 5: Is there's a fundamental acknowledgment in place right now that
- 5:37Speaker 5: this new industry, and really we are creating a new
- 5:40Speaker 5: industry if you think about it. Technologically, we are rapidly
- 5:44Speaker 5: building out an entire new industry. And the fascinating part
- 5:49Speaker 5: of it is the user engagement of it is at
- 5:52Speaker 5: the very initial stages.
- 5:54Speaker 3: So today we have Nvidia five point four trillion dollar
- 5:59Speaker 3: market gap for a company that hasn't even reported yet.
- 6:03Speaker 1: And to his point, that's the real question is do
- 6:06Speaker 1: we see this adjustment in the market. Maybe this is
- 6:09Speaker 1: the beginning of it, all of this leading into other
- 6:11Speaker 1: things that are happening worldwide. You have the Korean stock
- 6:14Speaker 1: market coming in and they proposed this whole idea of
- 6:18Speaker 1: about around an AI dividend, a national dividend, and the
- 6:22Speaker 1: issue is it hit the markets. And there was a
- 6:25Speaker 1: reason why if you look at the explanation, within ninety
- 6:28Speaker 1: minutes that cost me. This is the Korean stock market.
- 6:30Speaker 1: She had more than three hundred billion in the market value.
- 6:33Speaker 1: The policy chief later had to come on and clarify
- 6:35Speaker 1: that the proposal would draw from excess tax revenue rather
- 6:40Speaker 1: than new windfalls levied on corporate profits. So there was
- 6:43Speaker 1: a little bit of miscommunication. But the point that this
- 6:45Speaker 1: makes is that all the markets are skiddish. They understand
- 6:50Speaker 1: where we are right now. Are we at a point
- 6:52Speaker 1: where we've been seeing these massive upside swings that eventually
- 6:56Speaker 1: we get this correlation to a downside push and are
- 6:59Speaker 1: we there now? I think that is the state that
- 7:02Speaker 1: everybody is asking Mark Cudmore kind of explain this a
- 7:05Speaker 1: little bit more of what happened in Korea, because this
- 7:08Speaker 1: could happen here. Take a look.
- 7:10Speaker 4: We saw seven point two percent move in ninety seven
- 7:12Speaker 4: minutes in the cost B that's three hundred billion dollars
- 7:15Speaker 4: worth on essentially a misunderstood kind of statement. That was
- 7:19Speaker 4: the idea they were going to tax excess profits. The
- 7:22Speaker 4: what the minister actually meant was that the extra tax
- 7:25Speaker 4: revenues they're already making from AI should maybe be redistributed.
- 7:29Speaker 4: So that shows the kind of market rain. But it's
- 7:31Speaker 4: really really important empselives we're abot to go into a
- 7:32Speaker 4: load of risk events, and I think short term there's
- 7:35Speaker 4: going to be more volatility, more more damage, but all
- 7:38Speaker 4: these dips will be bought and we will see much
- 7:40Speaker 4: higher levels until there's genuinely an AI negative catalyst and
- 7:45Speaker 4: I just don't see that on the horizon. So I
- 7:46Speaker 4: think in the short term it reflects, hey, get prepared
- 7:50Speaker 4: for even more volatility. Costpe could drop twenty percent from
- 7:52Speaker 4: this morning's high and still be higher than any level
- 7:55Speaker 4: seen in history up until three weeks ago. So that's
- 7:57Speaker 4: pretty scary. That shows the place of these moves. So
- 7:59Speaker 4: expect even more volatility, expect even more big swings. But
- 8:02Speaker 4: it's not the end of the market. It's not the
- 8:03Speaker 4: end of this incredible, bubblish bull market that's going to
- 8:07Speaker 4: go absolutely crazy before it ends and teers all right.
- 8:10Speaker 1: So what do you guys think? Do you think we
- 8:11Speaker 1: are in this area where we could see these massive
- 8:14Speaker 1: swings down and then possibly see on just an absolute
- 8:18Speaker 1: crazy climb upward, even though we're starting to see indicators
- 8:23Speaker 1: of rising inflation and definitely some pressure on American consumers. Obviously,
- 8:27Speaker 1: what we're seeing there in Korea little different game in
- 8:30Speaker 1: terms of investor strategies and the sentiment that plays into
- 8:33Speaker 1: all of this. The key here, of course, is still
- 8:36Speaker 1: coming up with what's happening in DC this week, which
- 8:39Speaker 1: is clarity, things are going to get kind of crazy there.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Make sure and check out some of our videos on
