Transcript
- 0:01Speaker 1: Breaking news inn Liam Payne One Direction stor Liam Payne
- 0:07Speaker 1: has died.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Kate Cassidy was the girlfriend of LIMP Payne at the
- 0:11Speaker 2: time of his unfortunate passing almost two years ago. Limpayne
- 0:14Speaker 2: obviously famously from One Direction. Kate is chatting to us
- 0:18Speaker 2: exclusively this morning on Kiss Breakfast.
- 0:21Speaker 1: Kate tell us you first broke into the public eye
- 0:23Speaker 1: because your relationship obviously with Liam Payne. Tell us what
- 0:28Speaker 1: it was like and how you guys first met. It
- 0:30Speaker 1: was like almost love at first sight.
- 0:32Speaker 3: Yeah, so I was actually his server, so it's like
- 0:35Speaker 3: really crazy. I talked about this online a few times.
- 0:37Speaker 4: But I was a server and I grew up being
- 0:41Speaker 4: a One Direction fan. So like I remember like when
- 0:43Speaker 4: he walked in, I was like.
- 0:44Speaker 3: There's no way easier.
- 0:45Speaker 4: I also, I used to live in Charleston, South Carolina,
- 0:47Speaker 4: so super small city, and I was just kind of like,
- 0:50Speaker 4: what are the odds that he's here? Yeah, And it
- 0:52Speaker 4: was literally my I think second or third shift at work,
- 0:55Speaker 4: so it was like super new and yeah, like we
- 0:58Speaker 4: just like really hit it off. And then he obviously
- 1:02Speaker 4: like I have family in London, so he was like, oh, like,
- 1:05Speaker 4: next time you come to London, like I would love
- 1:07Speaker 4: to show you around again, And I ended up going
- 1:10Speaker 4: about like a week later and seeing him, and that's kind.
- 1:13Speaker 3: Of where our entire like love story like hit off
- 1:16Speaker 3: from there.
- 1:16Speaker 4: So it's like really crazy way to meet someone, especially
- 1:20Speaker 4: like your celebrity crush trying to growing.
- 1:22Speaker 2: Up for sure, Yeah, these things don't happen to normal people.
- 1:26Speaker 2: Like if I was working as a waitress at a
- 1:28Speaker 2: cafe in Sydney, Australia and a celebrity walked in, Like,
- 1:31Speaker 2: I cannot imagine it, imagine in a million years that
- 1:34Speaker 2: I'm then going to date that person. Is there something
- 1:37Speaker 2: you did that you think maybe caught his eye or
- 1:40Speaker 2: something special that happened that went from you just serving
- 1:43Speaker 2: him to him being like, hang on a second, this
- 1:45Speaker 2: girl's cool.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:47Speaker 4: I honestly feel like I just kind of like treated
- 1:50Speaker 4: him like a normal person because obviously, like deep down,
- 1:53Speaker 4: I was like I don't know, I didn't think anything
- 1:58Speaker 4: of it either, Like there was no part of me
- 2:00Speaker 4: even though he was like overally nice, like I thought
- 2:02Speaker 4: he was just a nice guy, Like I didn't know
- 2:04Speaker 4: he was, like, well he is, he of course was
- 2:06Speaker 4: such a nice guy, but I didn't also that.
- 2:09Speaker 3: Like I didn't take it for like flirting or anything.
- 2:11Speaker 4: What's the after my number, I was like, Okay, I
- 2:13Speaker 4: kind of understand now, like now he obviously I don't know,
- 2:16Speaker 4: but yeah, it was just crazy and like just such
- 2:18Speaker 4: a genuinely nice person, and I feel like I just
- 2:20Speaker 4: made him feel just like, you know, I treated him
- 2:22Speaker 4: just like normal, like any I.
- 2:23Speaker 3: Mean, like I said, it was like literally my third shift.
- 2:25Speaker 4: I didn't have tons of like interesting experience or anything,
- 2:27Speaker 4: but like just treating him like kind of like any other,
- 2:30Speaker 4: you know, regular person, like just you know, being kind
- 2:32Speaker 4: and just like listening to him and you.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Know, not freaking out. So I think that's maybe why
- 2:37Speaker 3: he was just kind of I don't know.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that would have been the hardest thing, was like
- 2:41Speaker 2: not freaking out because he's one of the biggest celebrities
- 2:45Speaker 2: in the world from one of the biggest boy bands
- 2:47Speaker 2: of all time, and you're trying to act professional because
- 2:49Speaker 2: you're working, but at the same time, you were a
- 2:52Speaker 2: one direction fan. So I wonder if you could explain
- 2:55Speaker 2: in that moment when you first met, obviously before you'd
- 2:58Speaker 2: had a proper relationship, what was your first impression of him,
- 3:01Speaker 2: Like what stood out about Lamb.
- 3:02Speaker 5: Was he just a genuine person? Was he funny?
- 3:05Speaker 4: Like?
- 3:05Speaker 5: What what was real? Layam line?
- 3:07Speaker 3: Yeah. I think the fact that.
- 3:08Speaker 4: He was just so like normal because I obviously grew
- 3:12Speaker 4: up in a very normal like household, like no sort
- 3:14Speaker 4: of celebrity, famous, any sort of background like that. So
- 3:18Speaker 4: just being around, you know, very close to somebody's like his.
- 3:21Speaker 3: Presence that night, just meeting him and just seeing.
- 3:23Speaker 4: He's literally just a normal person, like with you know
- 3:26Speaker 4: that title of of course, like being a celebrity and
- 3:28Speaker 4: being in one direction like I mean, yeah that's not
- 3:30Speaker 4: anything just typical, but like he was just so genuine
- 3:34Speaker 4: and so normal, like it genuinely at first of course,
- 3:36Speaker 4: like I was freaking out like most of the time,
- 3:37Speaker 4: but like I just realized, like after like a few
- 3:39Speaker 4: minutes of sweeping him, I was like, wait, this guy's
- 3:41Speaker 4: like so normal, and it was so easy to hold conversation.
- 3:43Speaker 3: With him, And I feel like it's like.
- 3:45Speaker 4: You know when you gets so whatever's in your heart
- 3:46Speaker 4: like literally pounding, and then like after like like your
- 3:48Speaker 4: adrenaline like rushing through your entire body, and then like
- 3:50Speaker 4: after some moments, I was like, wait, this guy is
- 3:52Speaker 4: like so so like normal, sweet, genuine like kind like
- 3:56Speaker 4: it just he like just made me feel also comfortable
- 3:58Speaker 4: talking to him.
- 3:59Speaker 2: So yeah, and then and then did hey fly you
- 4:02Speaker 2: to London so that you could go see him and
- 4:04Speaker 2: go on a proper date?
- 4:05Speaker 5: Is that what happened?
- 4:06Speaker 3: Yeah, like the next.
- 4:08Speaker 2: Week, and what was the date? Was it a normal
- 4:10Speaker 2: date or was it like a celebrity date?
- 4:14Speaker 4: I don't I don't even know honestly, Like I feel
- 4:16Speaker 4: like I've spoke about this, but like it wasn't even
- 4:17Speaker 4: really like a date.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Like I kind of I stayed with him, so.
- 4:20Speaker 4: Like he flew me out out it was like pack
- 4:22Speaker 4: whatever you need on these suitcases you need, and then
- 4:25Speaker 4: I kind of stayed with him and I was there.
- 4:27Speaker 4: The date turned into like a three week thing before
- 4:29Speaker 4: going back to the US and like trying to figure
- 4:31Speaker 4: out what we wanted to do. And then I obviously
- 4:35Speaker 4: like ended up moving into you know, to London with
- 4:37Speaker 4: him like about.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Like a week.
- 4:39Speaker 5: Oh wow.
- 4:40Speaker 4: So yeah, it was like a very quick and it's
- 4:42Speaker 4: you know, I look back at it sometimes because some
- 4:44Speaker 4: of my friends were.
- 4:44Speaker 3: Like, oh, I might been moving in with my partner.
- 4:46Speaker 3: I'm like, you know, of two years, I'm like that's too.
- 4:48Speaker 1: Soon, but you did it really quickly.
- 4:51Speaker 5: But it just felt right obviously in your case.
- 4:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it was really kind of the only thing.
- 4:56Speaker 4: Like I don't like really believe in long distance relationships
- 4:59Speaker 4: unless you've been dating some of for years in years,
- 5:01Speaker 4: like what's kind of the point, like you know what
- 5:02Speaker 4: I mean. And he couldn't really move to America at
- 5:04Speaker 4: the time because obviously his work and then like I
- 5:07Speaker 4: obviously was just serving. So I was like, I would
- 5:09Speaker 4: be so down to you know, and I have so
- 5:10Speaker 4: much fa like so like my mom was like from London,
- 5:13Speaker 4: so like I have so much family there, So I
- 5:14Speaker 4: was like, why the hell not, Like, yeah, I was
- 5:16Speaker 4: born of Calson. I was like, this is like this
- 5:18Speaker 4: was meant to be, Like I would love to get.
- 5:19Speaker 3: Out of South Carolina. So it was just like work.
- 5:22Speaker 3: It was just perfect, I think.
- 5:23Speaker 1: All right more with Kay Cassidy after these she's going
- 5:26Speaker 1: to tell us the moment she found out Liam had died.
- 5:29Speaker 1: So it's really heavy stand by, we'll do that. Keep
- 5:32Speaker 1: it right here on, kids, I.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Was supposed to be trying on my wedding dress. I
- 5:36Speaker 3: wasn't supposed to be wearing a black dress.
- 5:38Speaker 2: You all right, We're back with Kate Cassidy this morning
- 5:42Speaker 2: on Kiss and.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Then let's talk about the relationship was a little on
- 5:46Speaker 1: and off again at the start.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Is that right?
- 5:49Speaker 1: And uh, is it hard dating someone who's in the limelight.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Is that why it was on and off again?
- 5:55Speaker 3: It wasn't like two on and off.
- 5:56Speaker 4: I think, like, I mean, obviously, like a couple can
- 5:59Speaker 4: like have problems, especially the fact that we obviously like
- 6:01Speaker 4: got together like very quickly. But yeah, of course, I
- 6:05Speaker 4: mean our lives were like so different. I was just
- 6:07Speaker 4: you know, so so normal, like coming into this new life.
- 6:10Speaker 4: So it was like a lot for me. But I
- 6:11Speaker 4: also obviously I'm not going to sit here and say
- 6:14Speaker 4: I hated it.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Like of course I loved it.
- 6:16Speaker 4: To all these cool places, these cool events, and like
- 6:18Speaker 4: I was so grateful for experiencing that, and you know,
- 6:21Speaker 4: I never would have thought that I would experience.
- 6:22Speaker 3: That, especially like standing next to like somebody that I loved.
- 6:25Speaker 3: So it was.
- 6:27Speaker 4: Yeah, it was definitely like a very interesting dynamic in
- 6:30Speaker 4: the beginning, but I guess I just got so used
- 6:32Speaker 4: to it quickly because we obviously moved in so quickly,
- 6:35Speaker 4: so it's just like everything.
- 6:36Speaker 3: But yeah, it was like definitely like a fairy tale.
- 6:39Speaker 2: I don't know if this is a may thing, but
- 6:41Speaker 2: if I dated someone from like a singer or something,
- 6:44Speaker 2: or someone who had music, I would want to sing
- 6:47Speaker 2: their songs with them.
- 6:49Speaker 1: That's weird.
- 6:50Speaker 2: Did you ever like sit there with lay them in
- 6:52Speaker 2: the car and just go I want to show you
- 6:54Speaker 2: how well I can sing story of my life?
- 6:56Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 6:57Speaker 3: Literally No.
- 6:58Speaker 4: I was always you would always try to get me
- 6:59Speaker 4: to sing, and I was like, I can't, like I'm
- 7:01Speaker 4: not a great singer.
- 7:02Speaker 3: Like I would just be so shy about it, Like.
- 7:04Speaker 5: Do you pretend you didn't know the songs as well
- 7:06Speaker 5: as you did?
- 7:07Speaker 3: No, I definitely I need the songs for sure.
- 7:11Speaker 4: But like I just I would not it wouldn't be
- 7:14Speaker 4: the same person where I would like kind of be
- 7:15Speaker 4: singing in the car like to any type of song,
- 7:17Speaker 4: like immediately press the meat button to.
- 7:19Speaker 3: See like my voice out.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Do you regret it all getting into the public eye,
- 7:23Speaker 1: Like how's life for you?
- 7:24Speaker 3: I think that honestly, you do get so used to it.
- 7:27Speaker 4: I think, like I wouldn't I do enjoy like my
- 7:29Speaker 4: job and doing you know, influencing and like you know,
- 7:32Speaker 4: sharing my life online like it's.
- 7:33Speaker 3: So fun for me.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Yeah, sometimes, and.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Then obviously there's other times where of course it can
- 7:38Speaker 4: get hard because you do it does come with so much,
- 7:40Speaker 4: so much critique and so much criticism, and you know,
- 7:43Speaker 4: people online can just be super nasty because they're obviously
- 7:46Speaker 4: hiding behind all these you know, random accounts, So it
- 7:48Speaker 4: can be a little bit hard times. But I think
- 7:50Speaker 4: i just like kind of keep my head up and
- 7:51Speaker 4: I'm just like, you know whatever, every single person who
- 7:54Speaker 4: has an online presence is going to get.
- 7:55Speaker 3: Heat no matter what.
- 7:56Speaker 1: That's true, that's true. But what about the greath I
- 7:59Speaker 1: Maine obviously lay in tragically paused to why what about
- 8:02Speaker 1: like posting about your grief? Was that something really hard
- 8:05Speaker 1: to do? To do it publicly?
- 8:07Speaker 4: The thing for me is like whenever I post about Liam,
- 8:09Speaker 4: people of course, you know, have so much sympthy in
- 8:12Speaker 4: love for me. But then obviously there's that group of
- 8:13Speaker 4: people that are just immediately like you're using his name
- 8:16Speaker 4: for attention for like, you know, whatever it is saying,
- 8:19Speaker 4: we're like keeping your being relevant. And at the end
- 8:21Speaker 4: of the day, if Liam was obviously just a normal person,
- 8:25Speaker 4: you know, not a celebrity, and I was, you know,
- 8:27Speaker 4: talking about my partner's you know, death online and my
- 8:30Speaker 4: grief journey. There would be no sense of anybody coming
- 8:33Speaker 4: at me being like you're using you.
- 8:34Speaker 3: Know what I mean.
- 8:34Speaker 4: So it's at the end of the day, and like
- 8:35Speaker 4: I looked at him of course as a normal person
- 8:38Speaker 4: and like as my partner. So for me, like, I'm
- 8:41Speaker 4: not gonna and I want to keep his name alive.
- 8:43Speaker 4: I genuinely like never want to stop talking about how
- 8:45Speaker 4: I'm not going to so I don't care what people
- 8:47Speaker 4: have to say or think, Like, it's my journey, it's
- 8:49Speaker 4: my grief, it's my story.
- 8:51Speaker 3: So it's just something that I, you know, personally.
- 8:53Speaker 4: Like if I want to talk about it, I'll talk
- 8:54Speaker 4: about it, and then if I don't want to talk
- 8:56Speaker 4: about it, I.
- 8:56Speaker 3: Won't talk about it, you know.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Yeah, And you spoke recently because you do get very
- 8:59Speaker 2: candid about your journey and the grief that you've been through.
- 9:02Speaker 2: You said recently that you kind of have been struggling
- 9:05Speaker 2: dating because you just naturally obviously you loved.
- 9:08Speaker 5: Liam with your whole heart.
- 9:09Speaker 2: So everyone you date now you're comparing them to Liam
- 9:12Speaker 2: and the feelings you had for him. And then on
- 9:14Speaker 2: top of that, you also went as far as to say,
- 9:16Speaker 2: you think on your wedding day, you'll probably think about Liam,
- 9:19Speaker 2: do you do you just not foresee a day where
- 9:21Speaker 2: you'll ever move on from the great love that you
- 9:24Speaker 2: had with him.
- 9:24Speaker 3: I think that Liam's going to.
- 9:26Speaker 4: Be somebody I obviously will continue to think about for
- 9:28Speaker 4: the rest of my life. And when I do end up,
- 9:31Speaker 4: of course one day finding you know, that person and
- 9:34Speaker 4: it comes to the point where marriage is involved whatever,
- 9:36Speaker 4: like I will think about him because me and Liam,
- 9:38Speaker 4: you know, have spoken about marriage and the future together,
- 9:41Speaker 4: so with like you know, all that got like ripped
- 9:43Speaker 4: from the two of us. So it's something that I
- 9:46Speaker 4: am going to always think about. And I think if
- 9:47Speaker 4: anybody's lost a partner, like they will think about that
- 9:50Speaker 4: person every single day if they truly love that person.
- 9:53Speaker 4: But it is just the thing where it's like, yeah,
- 9:55Speaker 4: it is. Dating's definitely a little bit difficult.
- 9:57Speaker 3: Because I can, you know, tend to kind.
- 9:59Speaker 4: Of compare a little bit, see you know, checkpoints like
- 10:04Speaker 4: I couldn't sit here, I mean, like you know, like
- 10:06Speaker 4: thirty checkpoints that you know.
- 10:07Speaker 3: He was just like such a.
- 10:08Speaker 4: Great he was beautiful, so generous, kind, So it definitely
- 10:13Speaker 4: I could definitely compare a little.
- 10:14Speaker 5: Bit, and I, yeah, Chill, I think that's natural.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Hey, feel free to shut me down if you're not
- 10:19Speaker 2: a spiritual person. But I just wonder, because when a
- 10:22Speaker 2: thing that a lot of people do that are grieving
- 10:24Speaker 2: is they try and find signs that that person's still around,
- 10:27Speaker 2: whether it be dreams they're having and things like that.
- 10:30Speaker 2: Is there anything since Lamb's passed almost two years ago
- 10:32Speaker 2: where you think maybe that was a sign from him.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I've seen like so so many signs from him.
- 10:38Speaker 4: I feel like, especially like kind of you know more
- 10:42Speaker 4: when he first kind of passed away, I feel like
- 10:45Speaker 4: I just was seeing so many signs and it was
- 10:47Speaker 4: really helping my grief journey. And still today, like I
- 10:49Speaker 4: do see so many signs. But it's kind of a
- 10:51Speaker 4: thing where and this goes out there for anybody who's
- 10:54Speaker 4: like lost somebody and does even signs, Like there's sometimes
- 10:57Speaker 4: like months at a time where like I won't see
- 10:58Speaker 4: any signs and I almost get like angry or upset.
- 11:00Speaker 5: I'm like, woah, where are you? Yeah?
- 11:03Speaker 3: Yeah, But it's.
- 11:04Speaker 4: Just a thing where it's just like you know, it's
- 11:05Speaker 4: just like you really do kind of have to like
- 11:07Speaker 4: look for them sometimes and like you know, like if
- 11:09Speaker 4: I see a certain number or like a.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Letter or time or can you give us an example
- 11:13Speaker 2: of one that you know is Leo.
- 11:15Speaker 3: One that I kind of.
- 11:16Speaker 4: Saw, Like a few months ago, I was planning on
- 11:18Speaker 4: a trip to see the Northern Lights with one of
- 11:19Speaker 4: my best friends who actually also lost her partners, so
- 11:21Speaker 4: we kind of wanted to go there together and just
- 11:24Speaker 4: you know, like have like.
- 11:24Speaker 3: You know, little girls trip and mainly went to go.
- 11:27Speaker 4: See the Northern Lights about I guess it was three
- 11:29Speaker 4: years ago now, but and we didn't get to see
- 11:32Speaker 4: the Northern Lights because they only come out like every
- 11:34Speaker 4: other maybe like once every other.
- 11:36Speaker 3: I don't know. It's like kind of fifty to fifty ship.
- 11:37Speaker 4: Yeah. So the night before my flight, I actually had
- 11:40Speaker 4: a dream and it was one of those vivid dreams.
- 11:42Speaker 4: And I do believe that sometimes your loved ones can
- 11:44Speaker 4: visit you, like in your dreams or somebody who's passed.
- 11:47Speaker 4: So he said, like he promised me, like I was
- 11:50Speaker 4: basically I was packing my suitcase and he wasn't packing
- 11:52Speaker 4: his suitcase, and I felt so real and I was like,
- 11:54Speaker 4: why aren't you packing? Like aren't you coming on the
- 11:56Speaker 4: trip with me, and he was telling you that he
- 11:57Speaker 4: couldn't come and that it's just you know, it's a
- 12:00Speaker 4: trip that's meant for just me, and that you know,
- 12:02Speaker 4: he's like, I promise this, like because I can't come,
- 12:04Speaker 4: I can't make it, but I promise you, like the
- 12:06Speaker 4: lights will come out this trip.
- 12:08Speaker 3: I will promise you. Like and literally I believe it.
- 12:10Speaker 4: Was like the second to last night that me and
- 12:12Speaker 4: my friend were there, because we were there for like
- 12:13Speaker 4: a whole week, so like the first five nights went
- 12:15Speaker 4: by like no lights.
- 12:16Speaker 3: Nothing, Yeah, and then literally the.
- 12:18Speaker 4: Second to last night, the lights came out. And like,
- 12:20Speaker 4: of course this is not like a rare occasion. It's
- 12:22Speaker 4: not like the light's never come out, So of course
- 12:24Speaker 4: some haters are going to be like that's not you know,
- 12:27Speaker 4: puts on line or whatever. But like just the dream
- 12:29Speaker 4: felt so vivid, and then the fact that like we
- 12:31Speaker 4: almost didn't kind of get to see the lights. We're
- 12:32Speaker 4: leaving the next day, and we saw them on that day,
- 12:34Speaker 4: Like it really felt I felt.
- 12:36Speaker 3: Like his presence. There's so many little signs.
- 12:39Speaker 4: That I see like that, and you know in dreams,
- 12:41Speaker 4: so definitely feels like he's like still a lot in
- 12:44Speaker 4: my mind.
- 12:45Speaker 1: Yeah, Kai, can I take you back? And everyone would
- 12:47Speaker 1: relate when they've had a phone call or something when
- 12:51Speaker 1: something terrible has happened. Do you do you still remember
- 12:53Speaker 1: finding out the news that he had passed a Why?
- 12:56Speaker 1: I mean that that would never a skype heer?
- 12:57Speaker 3: Right?
- 12:58Speaker 4: Do you think about that quite often? But I do
- 13:00Speaker 4: try to like block it from my memory for sure.
- 13:02Speaker 4: It's something that's just kind of like felt like so
- 13:06Speaker 4: not real but also just so like I can't even
- 13:09Speaker 4: describe the like dealing and being that phone call. It
- 13:11Speaker 4: just felt so like numb because I didn't you know,
- 13:14Speaker 4: it's like when you get like the worst to do it.
- 13:15Speaker 5: Well, almost wouldn't believe it at first.
- 13:17Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, I told you it was it a family
- 13:22Speaker 1: member of yours? Or how did you actually find out
- 13:24Speaker 1: it was a friend of mine Liam's.
- 13:27Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 13:27Speaker 1: Wow.
- 13:27Speaker 2: I mean it's one of those things that I feel like,
- 13:30Speaker 2: when something like that happens to you, it'd take years
- 13:32Speaker 2: and therapy and things like that to recover from because
- 13:36Speaker 2: it's just something you never wish to go No.
- 13:38Speaker 1: All right, more coming up with Kate after this, She
- 13:40Speaker 1: is going to talk about her favorite memory she had
- 13:43Speaker 1: with her late partner Liam Payne. That is all coming
- 13:46Speaker 1: up right here on Kids.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Liam Pain, One Direction stir.
- 13:51Speaker 2: Liam Payne has died.
- 13:55Speaker 1: All right, we are back with Kate Cassidy here on
- 13:57Speaker 1: Kiss Steve, partner of One Direction's Liam Pain.
- 14:00Speaker 2: We've got a listener if you don't mind, that has
- 14:02Speaker 2: actually phoned through and wants to ask you a question.
- 14:04Speaker 5: Her name is Milli.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Okay, Millie loves your tiktoks and wants to have a chat.
- 14:09Speaker 5: Millie, you're on with Kate.
- 14:10Speaker 2: Hello, Oh my god, Hello, Hello, Hello, Hi Kate.
- 14:14Speaker 3: Hi, I'm good.
- 14:16Speaker 4: I'm good for him.
- 14:16Speaker 5: I'm such a big fan. I love your tiktoks and
- 14:19Speaker 5: I'm just taking this moment to.
- 14:20Speaker 2: Say that, Yeah, I look up to you a lot
- 14:22Speaker 2: for like all your makeup and you're fashion and everything.
- 14:24Speaker 2: So thank you guys for letting.
- 14:26Speaker 5: Me come on.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Look, I did want to ask about your tattoos, so, Kate, Look,
- 14:31Speaker 2: I know that you're getting some removed, and I know
- 14:33Speaker 2: that somewhere about Liam, and I just want to know why.
- 14:36Speaker 3: So good question.
- 14:37Speaker 4: I think I kind of did speak about this a
- 14:38Speaker 4: little bit on my TikTok. But so when Liam first
- 14:41Speaker 4: passed away, I did get some tattoos in honor of
- 14:44Speaker 4: him and his memory, and I kind of this is
- 14:48Speaker 4: probably like I would say, it was like a week
- 14:50Speaker 4: after his funeral, so I was kind of just like
- 14:52Speaker 4: scrambling to find any tattoo please. I've never gotten a
- 14:54Speaker 4: tattoo before in my life, so I was I wasn't
- 14:56Speaker 4: really the tape two. You know, we've got tattooed. It's
- 14:58Speaker 4: not really my esthetic person. So many girls pulled them off,
- 15:01Speaker 4: but I never thought I would get them.
- 15:03Speaker 3: Leam loved tattoos. It's one thing that he loved.
- 15:05Speaker 5: He was an aviden tattoos. Wasn't he hate it's covered?
- 15:08Speaker 4: And actually side note to like before we first started
- 15:12Speaker 4: dating too, like I was actually never really into guys
- 15:14Speaker 4: with tattoos, really like maybe tattoos on my guy because
- 15:17Speaker 4: it just you know, he just pulled.
- 15:18Speaker 3: Off pretty much every year. So I was like, oh
- 15:20Speaker 3: my god, I love them. Whatever.
- 15:22Speaker 4: So after he passed away, I did get some tattoos
- 15:25Speaker 4: and I just found some like random place in London.
- 15:29Speaker 3: I was in London at the time.
- 15:30Speaker 4: Like I said, it was after the funeral, and I
- 15:33Speaker 4: felt like, I mean, the most simple answer to this
- 15:35Speaker 4: question is that the I went to a like a
- 15:37Speaker 4: very not super experienced artist, and he just made the
- 15:40Speaker 4: tattoos super thick where it kind of looked like also
- 15:43Speaker 4: some of the lines were like melting in together. So
- 15:45Speaker 4: pretty much I got these four lazard. Well, it takes
- 15:49Speaker 4: like a few sessions, but I got I have angels,
- 15:51Speaker 4: well I saw have the mom but the angel wings,
- 15:53Speaker 4: and then I have the number four, and then this
- 15:56Speaker 4: was actually just the random sparkle that I got with
- 15:58Speaker 4: a friend.
- 15:59Speaker 3: Like, but I did get these.
- 16:01Speaker 4: I'm working on getting these removed, and I do one
- 16:03Speaker 4: hundred percent want to get the angelings and the number
- 16:06Speaker 4: four again tattooed, retattooed.
- 16:07Speaker 3: I mean, but just buy somebody a little bit more
- 16:09Speaker 3: experienced in thinner and in a different location.
- 16:11Speaker 1: Because you were copying some hate online for getting rid
- 16:14Speaker 1: of them, right, people were going, oh, you're trying to
- 16:16Speaker 1: remove these memory or whatever.
- 16:17Speaker 3: Yeah so much. Yeah I don't.
- 16:19Speaker 4: And I did try to explain it, and like I
- 16:21Speaker 4: do understand, like of course, like I mean, I understand.
- 16:24Speaker 4: Like before any explanation, people probably were like, why is
- 16:26Speaker 4: she getting these removed? Especially since I always talk so
- 16:29Speaker 4: highly Liam how much I love him, And then the
- 16:31Speaker 4: next day I'm getting these lasered off my body.
- 16:32Speaker 3: But it literally simply is it's for the reason that
- 16:34Speaker 3: I want to get them redone I will be back.
- 16:36Speaker 4: Man.
- 16:37Speaker 2: I would say, why would you share that you're getting
- 16:38Speaker 2: rid of them if you were doing it for any
- 16:41Speaker 2: like bad raisins, people want to jump to hate you,
- 16:44Speaker 2: and that's.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Well on that line, I know you said you caught
- 16:48Speaker 1: some awful stuff online. Do you read a lot of
- 16:51Speaker 1: your messages? Like what's the worst kind of stuff you get?
- 16:54Speaker 1: And how do you deal with that?
- 16:56Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 16:56Speaker 4: Well, I actually started getting even like hate mail delivered
- 16:59Speaker 4: to my address. You're in Florida, because I I guess
- 17:03Speaker 4: my address at.
- 17:03Speaker 3: One point got leave. So I was getting all these
- 17:05Speaker 3: like really d like letters.
- 17:07Speaker 4: Somebody once got me flowers and I got so excited.
- 17:09Speaker 4: I was like, what, who want flowers? And I opened
- 17:11Speaker 4: up the note and it was.
- 17:12Speaker 3: A really mean note about my appearance.
- 17:15Speaker 4: I've gotten some, yeah, some pretty like nasty hate mail. Obviously,
- 17:20Speaker 4: I got like tons of DMS death threats.
- 17:24Speaker 3: So I do get a lot.
- 17:25Speaker 4: Of you know, hate, but I do feel like and
- 17:28Speaker 4: I do know I do get so much more love,
- 17:31Speaker 4: and it's just, you know, one out of ten of
- 17:33Speaker 4: those hate comments or hate messages that they do stick
- 17:36Speaker 4: out of course. Yeah, so it's something that I really
- 17:38Speaker 4: tried to just you know, stay strong with and I
- 17:40Speaker 4: mean even Leam looked at you know, of course, like
- 17:42Speaker 4: any celebrity, like I said earlier, like I'm not that
- 17:44Speaker 4: I am a celebrity by any means, but like just
- 17:46Speaker 4: anybody in that world, like you put their life out
- 17:49Speaker 4: there in social media, like you'll get hate and it's
- 17:51Speaker 4: just a thing where.
- 17:51Speaker 5: It's like yeah with that, yeah, it comes.
- 17:54Speaker 2: You got to have a bit of a thick skin
- 17:55Speaker 2: because people as soon as you have a phone screen
- 17:59Speaker 2: or a keyboard, people will heroes and they'll just say
- 18:01Speaker 2: things where they would never in real life walk up
- 18:03Speaker 2: to you, I say any of that stuff.
- 18:05Speaker 5: So hey, I do have a quick question on that.
- 18:07Speaker 2: Obviously, you yourself are a person that people would recognize now,
- 18:11Speaker 2: but you're hanging around I'm assuming at the events and
- 18:13Speaker 2: stuff you're going to more celebrities and people in those circles.
- 18:16Speaker 2: Would you ever consider dating another celebrity or you think
- 18:20Speaker 2: you just want to live more of a private life
- 18:22Speaker 2: now after everything.
- 18:23Speaker 4: I think that really just obviously depends like who I meet.
- 18:26Speaker 4: I don't think that I would care about status like that,
- 18:29Speaker 4: So I think from you personally, I wouldn't like care
- 18:31Speaker 4: to like go out and let's go about, you know,
- 18:32Speaker 4: somebody because obviously of their fame or money or anything
- 18:35Speaker 4: like that. If obviously in the future I start dating
- 18:38Speaker 4: somebody who has you know, no social presence, no fame,
- 18:41Speaker 4: no nothing, that's fine with me. And if it's obviously
- 18:43Speaker 4: somebody who has fame that we have you know, hitded off,
- 18:45Speaker 4: then that's also fine.
- 18:46Speaker 5: So what would be the number one quality you look
- 18:48Speaker 5: for in a guy? Then?
- 18:49Speaker 2: Because you said Liam had tatoos, you don't really like
- 18:51Speaker 2: tattoos normally, so do you just go off there's no
- 18:53Speaker 2: criteria you're looking for someone to meet or you mentioned
- 18:56Speaker 2: some checkboxes before.
- 18:58Speaker 4: I definitely care meanly about you know, this is the
- 19:00Speaker 4: most generic answer. But like personality and just like humor,
- 19:03Speaker 4: somebody to like that we can laugh together. I feel
- 19:05Speaker 4: like me and Liam had all these, like you know,
- 19:07Speaker 4: so many fun moments and just like endless laughs, and
- 19:09Speaker 4: I just want to like recreate like those moments with
- 19:12Speaker 4: somebody else but you.
- 19:13Speaker 3: Know, totally different.
- 19:14Speaker 2: Yeah, And just to end on a nice note, could
- 19:16Speaker 2: you share with us maybe your favorite memory with Liam,
- 19:19Speaker 2: because you talking about all these really nice moments and
- 19:21Speaker 2: laughs that you guys had to get. Is there one
- 19:22Speaker 2: that when you think back and it just makes you
- 19:24Speaker 2: smile of like a moment.
- 19:25Speaker 5: That you two shared together that you'll never forget.
- 19:28Speaker 3: There are just so many. I remember one time, like
- 19:30Speaker 3: one thing that's like said with me a lot.
- 19:31Speaker 4: Me and him were driving one time and we were
- 19:33Speaker 4: like stopped at a red light and we were obviously
- 19:35Speaker 4: in tons of traffic in London, and there was a
- 19:37Speaker 4: woman on a motorcycle next to us, and she tapped
- 19:40Speaker 4: on the window and Liam looked at me. He's like,
- 19:42Speaker 4: oh my, that's probably a fan that recognized me through whatever,
- 19:45Speaker 4: probably wants to pick.
- 19:46Speaker 3: She had no idea like Liam wants or anything like that.
- 19:48Speaker 4: She just simply just like looked over and she just said,
- 19:51Speaker 4: because we're stuck behind this light for so long. It
- 19:53Speaker 4: was probably like five full minutes, and I guess like
- 19:56Speaker 4: just the way me and Liam were like looking over
- 19:58Speaker 4: like a kissing whatever, Like she just looked on the
- 20:01Speaker 4: window and she's like, you guys looked so in love,
- 20:03Speaker 4: like you guys really and it was just so and
- 20:05Speaker 4: that's it.
- 20:06Speaker 3: And then the light turned. She continued her journey, we
- 20:09Speaker 3: continued ours, and it was just so sweet.
- 20:10Speaker 4: We were like, wow, that's like, you know, so sweet.
- 20:12Speaker 4: So that's something we also used to just talk about
- 20:15Speaker 4: a lot.
- 20:15Speaker 3: Like. It was like just like a small cute, you know,
- 20:18Speaker 3: sentimental moment.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah, that had nothing, nothing to do with fame or anything.
- 20:22Speaker 1: It was just a nice move.
- 20:24Speaker 5: That couple is so in love.
- 20:27Speaker 1: Yeah yeah, well kay, Cassidy, thank you so much for
- 20:30Speaker 1: coming on a here at kiss and being psychandid and honest,
- 20:34Speaker 1: and of course people can go and follow you on
- 20:37Speaker 1: TikTok if they want to keep up with what's going on.
- 20:39Speaker 5: Thank you. We really appreciate your time.
- 20:41Speaker 3: Of course. Well, thank you guys. It so nice. Ma,
