- 0:03access to cutting edge hypnosis with real clients facing genuine
- 0:07issues. Brought to you by the
- 0:10hypnotherapist, demanded by celebrities, CEOs and even
- 0:14royalty. Adam Cox.
- 0:16These recordings took place live from Adam's clinic in London's
- 0:19world famous Harley Street. This podcast features powerful
- 0:23hypnosis, so do not listen while driving or operating machinery.
- 0:27This recording is not suitable for those with epilepsy or
- 0:30severe mental health issues, so get yourself comfortable and
- 0:34enjoy today's episode of The Hypnotist.
- 0:40Hi, it's Adam here. And in this episode of The
- 0:43Hypnotist, you're going to be listening to a hypnosis session.
- 0:47That was created. For an individual that was going
- 0:51through what could only be described as quite a unamicable
- 0:57or a messy breakup and the. Breakup was caused.
- 1:00By an act of betrayal and the client I was working with was
- 1:05having intrusive and ruminating thoughts about the past like how
- 1:10could they do that to? Them and.
- 1:14Why did they allow it to continue?
- 1:16Why didn't they make a decision earlier and all of these kind of
- 1:19what ifs and basically ruminating like did they do the
- 1:23right thing? Did they do it early enough?
- 1:25They were also worried that they might not be able to trust
- 1:29someone else in. A future relationship, but.
- 1:31What was interesting with this client is that actually their
- 1:34instincts about something not being right.
- 1:36With the relationship. Was spot on.
- 1:39So actually. This is the.
- 1:41Una reverse card of hypnosis in the sense that rather than them
- 1:46feeling that they can't trust someone else, actually the whole
- 1:50essence of this is about increasing trust.
- 1:53Increasing trust that they can trust their instincts.
- 1:58Increasing the level of trust that.
- 2:00People will show. You who they really are if you
- 2:02just give them time. And.
- 2:04Also increasing trust that they can acquire experience.
- 2:08And if they did re encounter anything similar, they would
- 2:13make different choices, including the selection of what
- 2:16kind of partner to. Be with because.
- 2:18Historically, they would choose someone that was kind of broken
- 2:22or needed fixing at some level, and they really learned that
- 2:26lesson. So going forward, they didn't
- 2:28want a project, they wanted a partner.
- 2:31And all of this is infused in this idea of going back to the
- 2:35past with the knowledge they have so they can see it
- 2:38different, updating and also seeing a future where they can
- 2:41trust more, not less. So if you've been on the
- 2:44receiving end of a betrayal. Or.
- 2:47You're going through a breakup. You might find that this session
- 2:50is beneficial. It does.
- 2:51Use. A a recent reference of the
- 2:55client, which was a yoga retreat in Thailand, but the essence of.
- 3:01It is to. Feel that you can take the
- 3:03wisdom of the past and trust yourself more so the references
- 3:08aren't going to map. Across to you because it was.
- 3:10Created for someone else, but if the idea of working with me
- 3:15appeals to. You and.
- 3:17You want to explore what that would be like, check out the
- 3:19link in the show notes so you can schedule that free
- 3:21consultation call and then we can explore whether or not I'm
- 3:25the right. Hypnotherapist to work with you.
- 3:27For now, though, find a quiet, comfortable place where you
- 3:29won't be disturbed. Relax.
- 3:32And enjoy the. Session.
- 4:11Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, breathe in a
- 4:17resourceful feeling of calm and relaxation.
- 4:21And on the outward breath, as it close your eyes.
- 4:26And as your eyes close, notice just how much more you can focus
- 4:34on the sound of my voice. Breathing in, relaxation and
- 4:42exhaling. Any tension, any stress, any
- 4:48worries. That's it.
- 4:52When you breathe in, breathe in deeper than you normally would.
- 4:56And as you exhale, just elongate the outward breath.
- 5:02Breathe out for longer, emptying your lungs and activating your
- 5:07diaphragm as you breathe in. Just imagine breathing in pure
- 5:15relaxation, and as you exhale, scan your body for any clues of
- 5:22tension, any stresses, any worries, and just allow anything
- 5:29that isn't serving you to feel like it's leaving your body in
- 5:37your outward breath. That's it.
- 5:42Deeper and deeper, relaxed. The deeper you breathe, the more
- 5:50relaxed you become, and the more relaxed your body becomes, the
- 5:56more your imagination awakens. And I wonder if you can use the
- 6:09power of your imagination to imagine being somewhere else in
- 6:17the world. Some people believe in astral
- 6:25projection, that their body can remain in a fixed place, but
- 6:31their imagination can travel far, far away.
- 6:36So give permission for your imagination to travel all the
- 6:42way to Thailand. Think of a specific place with
- 6:50views of forests, clear seas, uninhabited islands.
- 7:04I want you to see. Then you're in an elevated
- 7:08position, so when you look out towards the horizon, you can see
- 7:18further. I want you to get a sand that
- 7:22this is a harmonious place, place of nature.
- 7:30We need to get a sense that there is an energetic frequency
- 7:35here that seems to resonate with the part of you that feels
- 7:43peace, tranquillity and calm. We need to imagine perhaps being
- 7:54in a place that is covered. It has a roof, but no walls, so
- 8:01you can see how far. Perhaps you could imagine mats
- 8:07beneath you, meaning that if you wanted to stretch or move your
- 8:14body in a particular way, you could do that effortlessly.
- 8:19Here in this place, I want you to imagine using different poses
- 8:31to activate different parts. Maybe there's a part that can
- 8:39really connect with you, Maybe a pose that you feel resonates
- 8:45with reflection, or perhaps a warrior pose that makes you feel
- 8:53powerful, empowered, in control. That's in I want you to think of
- 9:04that stoic pendulum. Perhaps you could imagine it, a
- 9:10giant pendulum just swinging from left to right.
- 9:16Some things in your life aren't meant to be controlled, just
- 9:21accepted. Nothing to do, just to accept.
- 9:29And when the pendulum swings the other way, this is your time to
- 9:37be decisive, to take actions, to do things.
- 9:46I want you to naturally come to the conclusion that you've never
- 9:51been as wise as you are right now, that every experience, good
- 10:01and bad, has contributed to your wisdom.
- 10:08Consider wisdom, one of many tools that your intuition can
- 10:14use to increase the probability of good choices, good decisions
- 10:23in your future. I want you to get a sense then
- 10:31you can't change the past, but you can learn from it.
- 10:37And sometimes what you learn from the past shifts your future
- 10:43on a different trajectory. But when you get to that future,
- 10:51painful moments become a gift, a blessing.
- 10:57They were exactly what was needed to steer your life in an
- 11:05even better direction. As you look out to the sea in
- 11:12the islands, feel that wisdom within you.
- 11:20Think of a pose where you feel very comfortable that it's
- 11:23possible to imagine and reflect on the past.
- 11:30I don't want you to imagine there is now a portal to your
- 11:38past where you get to go as an observer, not to relive any past
- 11:50moments, but to observe past moments.
- 11:57But you will observe the version that you are now.
- 12:04If you were to go back in time and relive those moments,
- 12:10everyone else will do exactly what they did, but you would do
- 12:15different things because your current wisdom is going back to
- 12:21these moments and you will observe it.
- 12:27So just imagine floating and drifting through the portal,
- 12:32going all the way back. I want you to go back to a
- 12:38point, not of betrayal, but before that, go to a point where
- 12:48you questioned your own instincts.
- 12:53I want you to see that version of you, but with your current
- 12:57wisdom. And with your current wisdom,
- 13:02you would trust your instincts even more, not doubt them.
- 13:10And I want you to see that version of you, almost with such
- 13:17high levels of sensory acuity that you can notice details,
- 13:25clues, inconsistencies. Only in this version you have
- 13:33that combination of wisdom, but also a willingness to get to the
- 13:42truth. So see that version of you
- 13:47handling things different and you get to test out several
- 13:55scenarios until you find the right one.
- 14:01Just as Goldilocks tasted 3 different bowls of porridge
- 14:05before she found the right one. Imagine testing out different
- 14:09scenarios. You're the observer, but see
- 14:13yourself with higher levels of trust, and in particular see
- 14:18yourself trusting your instincts more.
- 14:24Test out those scenarios just as the observer and if any in a
- 14:29dialogue comes up with how could she do something like that to
- 14:35me? Smile to yourself.
- 14:40I want you to get a sense then. You don't trust only your
- 14:46instincts. You have 100% trust that people
- 14:52will reveal their true character.
- 14:56You don't have to Snoop, you don't have to second guess.
- 15:02You see yourself trusting that people will reveal their true
- 15:08character. The combination of your
- 15:11instincts and patience means then you don't need to be
- 15:18untrusting, suspicious, see yourself trusting even more back
- 15:25in that moment. And when you find the right
- 15:29scenario, the scenario that knowing everything you now know
- 15:36would have been the right way to handle those early clues or
- 15:42inconsistencies, just let me know by nodding your head.
- 16:23You're seeing yourself finding the right combination, seeing
- 16:31what you would now do back in that same situation all the way
- 16:34back. See that you are confident,
- 16:39empowered, positive, and then jump forward in time to the time
- 16:47that the betrayal was revealed. Not just clues or
- 16:53inconsistencies, but absolute fact.
- 17:00And I want you to see, knowing what you now know, how you would
- 17:06have handled that situation. Test out different versions of
- 17:13you until you find the right one.
- 17:19The one where you, as an observer, are proud of how
- 17:23you're handling that situation, confident, clear, powerful, or
- 17:32empowered. When you find the right
- 17:35scenario, let me know about nodding your head.
- 18:09You get to test out different versions of you handling that
- 18:14same moment. And when you find that right
- 18:21balance, there is no need to ruminate on these past moments
- 18:27anymore. Because the final piece of the
- 18:32puzzle, the true evidence of wisdom and insight being
- 18:37extracted from a painful moment, is to have the clarity that if
- 18:46you were to relive that moment, you would do things differently
- 18:54and then see yourself still as an observer in the near future.
- 19:02See that version of you that is being baited?
- 19:07A game is being played. A game of attention, of
- 19:13manipulation. A game where the goal is to
- 19:18trigger you. Trigger you to lose your temper,
- 19:24Trigger you to lose control, Trigger you to do something
- 19:30reactive rather than a measured response.
- 19:35But I want you to see that version of you.
- 19:37A version of you that is forewarned and therefore
- 19:44forearmed. See that version of you
- 19:50expecting these games? The bait with the hook is being
- 19:58dangled, but you know there's a hook.
- 20:02So you don't take the bait and if you can see how you would be,
- 20:11perhaps then Zen or stoic version of you staying in your
- 20:17lane, pursuing your course and feel you are priming your
- 20:28unconscious to carry on this path.
- 20:37But then go further in the future, perhaps six months or a
- 20:40year from now, only to see yourself in the early stages of
- 20:48what could be a wonderful new relationship.
- 20:57You're still the observer, but you're observing that version of
- 21:00you. Bitter, resentful, or broken,
- 21:07but more empowered, more resourceful.
- 21:13I want you to see a version of you that is rejuvenated.
- 21:20See a version of you that is incredibly discerning with what
- 21:27relationship you would be willing to enter.
- 21:34See that version of you not scared or fearful, but just
- 21:41discerning so many areas of your life.
- 21:47You're discerning. This is just one extra area.
- 21:51There is no one to fix, no one to help.
- 21:55You're looking for synergy, compatibility, passion, not
- 22:01conflict and drama. See that version of you
- 22:05exceptional in your discernment? See that version of you with
- 22:13higher levels of trust? The ability to trust your
- 22:18instincts, but also with a deep conviction that you can trust
- 22:27that people will reveal their character.
- 22:35Some people are very good at wearing a mask, but every now
- 22:41and then the mask slips. See that version of you with all
- 22:48of the skills necessary to trust that you will spot if a mask is
- 22:54being worn, and to spot that you could tell if someone is being
- 23:01fake or calculating. And if you can see that version
- 23:07of you with those skills with higher levels of trust, Someone
- 23:12that trusts their instincts, Trust the nature of people to
- 23:17reveal who they really are. Let me know about nodding your
- 23:22head. That's it.
- 23:29I want you to get a sense then at some point in the future, a
- 23:35difficult time will actually be seen as incredibly positive.
- 23:45I want you to get a sense then. You're already starting to feel
- 23:50that the right decisions are being made now, and the right
- 23:58decisions will be made in the future.
- 24:02And not every decision will be right, but you will either make
- 24:08the right decisions or learn from them.
- 24:11You're already learning from past decisions that with
- 24:14hindsight, you would have done differently.
- 24:17Which means you're wiser now than ever before.
- 24:23Not damaged, not broken, not bitter, not resentful.
- 24:30Simply with more wisdom and more trust than ever before.
- 24:38And as you allow that idea to be planted deep in your
- 24:41subconscious mind, allow yourself to float back through
- 24:45the portal, back there into that place on the mounts with the
- 24:51incredible views of the islands and ocean.
- 24:57But you come back feeling that there's no need now to ruminate
- 25:03on the past because you've extracted the wisdom from it.
- 25:09Now it becomes a different game. Your eye is now in the future,
- 25:16the most desirable future possible for you and the people
- 25:21you love the most. Very soon I'll count from 1:00
- 25:27to 10:00 to awaken you. So take a deep breath in through
- 25:35your nose and out through your nose.
- 25:39Just wiggle your fingers and wiggle your toes.
- 25:41Start to connect and calibrate with the here and the now as I
- 25:45now count from 1:00 to 10:00 to awaken you.
- 25:48Starting to count 123 waking up 456 more alert 7-8.
- 25:56Open your eyes. Open your eyes 910 Wide awake,
- 26:00Wide awake. Wide awake.
