- 0:00Speaker 1: Off the bench with Jacob Hester and Matt Flynn. Say
- 0:04Speaker 1: Hester and Hester got at from carrying each other to
- 0:09Speaker 1: and Natty to carrying each other.
- 0:11Speaker 2: On the air, there's dropped control.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Live from the Raising Kine studio.
- 0:18Speaker 3: It's off the bench.
- 0:23Speaker 4: Got so I can't say that.
- 1:03Speaker 5: Somebody what happened our number two Community Steel made it?
- 1:09Speaker 5: Give mesilk dot com shout out to your community, still
- 1:12Speaker 5: bringing you every Tuesday show here on oh Tea.
- 1:22Speaker 6: I don't know artists Steel, sorry, says every bike in here.
- 1:29Speaker 6: I'll flex my muscles like steal.
- 1:32Speaker 7: I thought you were doing the old Superman punch because
- 1:35Speaker 7: I was like Man of Steel.
- 1:37Speaker 2: But that's what.
- 1:40Speaker 6: My dog's name is steel as well. That's cool origin. Please,
- 1:46Speaker 6: uh what origin of your dog's name? Okay, so he is.
- 1:52Speaker 6: His color is considered blue, which is just gray, but
- 1:55Speaker 6: they call it blue and so still from Lander Blue Steel.
- 2:00Speaker 5: Yeah, should have known it was something like that and
- 2:01Speaker 5: not Superman related, knowing you the.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Way I do. But he's out there fighting one less
- 2:05Speaker 2: cod Cody right now though. Oh wait, confirmed Community Steel.
- 2:18Speaker 5: All right, so we now have some win total projections
- 2:23Speaker 5: from FanDuel.
- 2:24Speaker 2: When it comes to.
- 2:25Speaker 5: College football, the LSU Tigers. Their win total for the
- 2:31Speaker 5: twenty twenty six season is.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Eight and a half.
- 2:37Speaker 5: Hell yeah, which will not, and I mean will not
- 2:44Speaker 5: satisfy anybody in this city if that is in football,
- 2:49Speaker 5: if that is in fact the case.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Tackle football, yes, oh boy, I mean that's got to
- 2:57Speaker 2: be an over bet, right all right.
- 3:01Speaker 5: And we know the schedule, all right, we know I'm
- 3:05Speaker 5: going to skip over some games, so don't get your
- 3:07Speaker 5: feelings hurt if I do. Clemson at Ole, miss A
- 3:11Speaker 5: and M at home at Auburn, Alabama at home, Texas
- 3:17Speaker 5: at home at Tennessee.
- 3:21Speaker 2: Tough schedule, no doubt about it. Ce Sec. You're playing
- 3:24Speaker 2: Clemson in the non con you scheduled it. I love it.
- 3:27Speaker 5: I'd rather play them than directional school. You sorry, just
- 3:31Speaker 5: the way I'm built, Those games are fun. You better
- 3:36Speaker 5: win at least nine nine Nine doesn't even feel good.
- 3:41Speaker 5: If the nine was the over under, I'd still if.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Nine and a half was the number, I'd still say
- 3:45Speaker 3: you better hit.
- 3:46Speaker 2: You better, you better hit the over on that one.
- 3:47Speaker 6: Though.
- 3:48Speaker 5: It's a football team that's you did a lot of reworking,
- 3:53Speaker 5: to say the least, like in Choy what the roster costs.
- 3:56Speaker 5: But I'm just talking about before we even get to
- 3:58Speaker 5: the roster, what you did in the building, complete overhaul
- 4:03Speaker 5: of the offensive staff and the head coach and the
- 4:05Speaker 5: general manager, and all of that right, which was welcome,
- 4:09Speaker 5: needed to happen, had to happen. And then the retention
- 4:13Speaker 5: of the people you needed to keep in the building,
- 4:15Speaker 5: which you also did. And then you went out and
- 4:21Speaker 5: you got the best transfer class of any team in
- 4:24Speaker 5: the country, and you also did really well in high
- 4:26Speaker 5: school recruiting. You got the number one player in the country.
- 4:30Speaker 5: You did a lot of good. Everything's pointing in the
- 4:32Speaker 5: right direction. But we've all been here long enough, we've
- 4:37Speaker 5: all been through the process enough to know that expectation
- 4:41Speaker 5: that's always there, and it should be. That's one of
- 4:44Speaker 5: the reasons I love LSU. We expect to be great,
- 4:47Speaker 5: and we're not satisfied with being okay. But even that
- 4:50Speaker 5: expectation now goes up another level. And that level ain't
- 4:56Speaker 5: anywhere close to eight and a half, but never never
- 5:01Speaker 5: is around eight and a half ever, even in a
- 5:03Speaker 5: season where you don't feel as good going into spring
- 5:06Speaker 5: practice as we do right.
- 5:08Speaker 2: Now, Yeah, I don't I don't care.
- 5:10Speaker 6: If I don't care what your schedule looks like if
- 5:14Speaker 6: you don't get too double digit wins every season, when
- 5:17Speaker 6: you make moves like this, it's a huge disappointment. You
- 5:22Speaker 6: spent fifty million to get rid of a coach, plus
- 5:26Speaker 6: whatever assistants were. You spent what eighty million to get
- 5:30Speaker 6: a new coach, and you spend forty million to get
- 5:32Speaker 6: a roster and that's what we know about. So yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 6: you better win, and you better win fast. Now, I
- 5:41Speaker 6: say you better. What are the repercussions of not winning?
- 5:44Speaker 6: Nothing right now, but it would come a lot sooner,
- 5:49Speaker 6: any repercussion. So yeah, eight and a half is an
- 5:54Speaker 6: absurd over under amount and it means nothing. No, Like
- 5:57Speaker 6: LSU football didn't set that over under. This is this
- 6:00Speaker 6: are these are betting nods. This is coming on the
- 6:02Speaker 6: heels of a very bad season for LSU football, right,
- 6:08Speaker 6: So I guess what I'm trying to say is absolutely
- 6:11Speaker 6: hammer it. That's the moral of the story. Because LSU's
- 6:17Speaker 6: gonna win ten games, you better get the playoffs. And
- 6:20Speaker 6: again I'm threating, like I'm like, you better do this,
- 6:22Speaker 6: Like it sounds like a threat, but like from the
- 6:25Speaker 6: mindset from LSU fans, you pushed your chips to the
- 6:28Speaker 6: middle of the table. You showed your You showed your
- 6:30Speaker 6: hand to everybody that you have no you had no
- 6:34Speaker 6: limit when it comes to funds, no limit when it
- 6:36Speaker 6: comes to what you will do to be successful. You've
- 6:39Speaker 6: got a great desire to be great. You have this
- 6:42Speaker 6: brand and you don't really care. You have this brand
- 6:44Speaker 6: that is, you know, well respected throughout the world, the cuts,
- 6:48Speaker 6: it's the coolest brand, and you're okay with kind of
- 6:52Speaker 6: becoming the villain a little bit.
- 6:53Speaker 2: For a little bit.
- 6:54Speaker 6: You're okay with doing whatever it takes to win football games.
- 6:59Speaker 6: So you better win football games. So when you show
- 7:03Speaker 6: your hand, when you push your chips to the middle
- 7:05Speaker 6: of the table, you better have a winning hand.
- 7:08Speaker 2: We'll see. I'm only cheering. I have my pump. I'm
- 7:14Speaker 2: all in on the villain role too.
- 7:16Speaker 5: I know you are. You've made it clear. I'm just
- 7:21Speaker 5: making it clear one more time. How do we feel?
- 7:23Speaker 5: Because I know how Matt feels.
- 7:25Speaker 6: We talked a couple of weeks ago. This is a
- 7:27Speaker 6: complicated relationship with a villain role. There's a way to
- 7:30Speaker 6: do it and there's a way not to do it.
- 7:31Speaker 2: It's a complicated. We're going through some things right now.
- 7:35Speaker 2: That's complicated.
- 7:36Speaker 3: We love each other, I squear, But I get it
- 7:39Speaker 3: all right. I get that point too.
- 7:40Speaker 2: No, I mean we talked about a few weeks ago.
- 7:42Speaker 7: My thoughts always, if you're irrelevant, you can't really be
- 7:45Speaker 7: the villain. So, like, you know, you pose at least
- 7:48Speaker 7: some sort of threat to other people.
- 7:50Speaker 2: That I get it.
- 7:50Speaker 7: Like blank, Kevin hasn't won any games here all sue,
- 7:53Speaker 7: yet you still have to go out and do it.
- 7:54Speaker 7: But I think it's the potential that that makes it,
- 7:58Speaker 7: you know, that makes you the villain. And obviously Kivin
- 8:00Speaker 7: Leavin when he did, I understand that that's not him
- 8:03Speaker 7: or Lshu's fault or ole Miss. That's just kind of
- 8:05Speaker 7: the way college football is with the timeline right now.
- 8:07Speaker 2: But yeah, I mean I'm good with it.
- 8:10Speaker 7: If you if you suck and you pose no threat
- 8:12Speaker 7: to others, you're not a villaine.
- 8:13Speaker 5: Nobodys didn't care about you. You're not relevant enough to
- 8:17Speaker 5: be a villain. And old Miss though sorry to cut
- 8:22Speaker 5: you off there at ole Miss though sorry a little bit.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Four at the last five years, link iffn would have
- 8:27Speaker 5: been over that eight and a half four at the
- 8:31Speaker 5: last five, and he was at eight in twenty twenty two.
- 8:35Speaker 5: Uh yeah, absolutely, eight and a half should be underwhelming.
- 8:40Speaker 3: If you fall under there to say the least, well, that's.
- 8:43Speaker 7: The that's the link of it effect, right, I mean
- 8:44Speaker 7: you mentioned he would have been over eight and a half.
- 8:46Speaker 7: Basically every year Ole Miss is a college football playoff
- 8:49Speaker 7: team with their best two offensive players back from a
- 8:51Speaker 7: year ago. They said at seven and a half, right
- 8:53Speaker 7: now you have Shambless and Kawan Lacy both back. You
- 8:58Speaker 7: thought you were losing both of those guys, and you
- 8:59Speaker 7: say it's seven and a half wins. Right, Yeah, that's
- 9:02Speaker 7: your projected total. That tells me everything I need to
- 9:04Speaker 7: know about what you think nationally of link kids.
- 9:08Speaker 6: We already know Trinidad's scared to go pro pro. Something's
- 9:13Speaker 6: good enough to pro. What you do is just guaranteed
- 9:17Speaker 6: to come back. But I will say counterpoint, kind of
- 9:21Speaker 6: argument to myself on like I was very hesitant on
- 9:24Speaker 6: the villain. Just allow myself to introduce myself. Yes, let me,
- 9:28Speaker 6: I'm just gonna argue with myself here. I'm like, I'm
- 9:30Speaker 6: staring in the mirror, like the villain.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Roll has died down completely compared to where it was,
- 9:35Speaker 5: compared to where Ole Miss is always going, but old
- 9:37Speaker 5: Miss already had that's fine, and that's fine, Like there's
- 9:41Speaker 5: certainly there's a history there. Yeah, but it's it's the
- 9:44Speaker 5: old Miss people that hate lsu like with full force
- 9:47Speaker 5: right now, Like everybody else is kind of like, all right,
- 9:49Speaker 5: that happened. We're onto something else.
- 9:52Speaker 6: Yeah, and we get it. It's fine, everybody. You know,
- 9:54Speaker 6: let's move on about our lives. But yeah, you know,
- 9:59Speaker 6: just the way that it all have like there, I agree,
- 10:01Speaker 6: Like if you're the villain because you're just dominating people
- 10:04Speaker 6: and they can't beat you, Like if you're Nick Saban
- 10:06Speaker 6: and Alabama villain, that's awesome. If you're just a villain
- 10:10Speaker 6: just like just because you're doing some some weird things.
- 10:13Speaker 6: Now again, it's like, like Taylor just said, the whole
- 10:15Speaker 6: timing of everything sucked, but it wasn't anybody's fault. It
- 10:19Speaker 6: was college football's fault. So if anybody's going to be
- 10:23Speaker 6: mad at anything, it should be mad at college football
- 10:26Speaker 6: because it makes no sense, it's dumb. They're just very
- 10:32Speaker 6: fortunate that the product on the field is still excellent
- 10:35Speaker 6: and it's getting better every year, but everything else around it,
- 10:39Speaker 6: I know, you've I know college football is driven fans
- 10:41Speaker 6: away from college football because of how absurd the rules are,
- 10:49Speaker 6: the timing is the schedule, Like, people, hey, not in like,
- 10:52Speaker 6: we're in this college athletics bubble here in Louisiana.
- 10:56Speaker 2: Would you start leaving outside of that?
- 11:00Speaker 6: People aren't as like gung ho with college athletics as
- 11:04Speaker 6: we are.
- 11:04Speaker 3: I mean, now there is that that we played professionally.
- 11:08Speaker 6: Yeah, like people like people talk about college like college hope,
- 11:11Speaker 6: but I don't even follow it anymore, which is sad
- 11:14Speaker 6: to say because it's so great, But it's just done that.
- 11:17Speaker 6: Now again, if you're listening to us, it probably doesn't.
- 11:20Speaker 6: This means nothing to you, just saying because you're in
- 11:22Speaker 6: the bubble, because you're in the bubble, and that's great.
- 11:24Speaker 6: The bubble is a great place to be. Yeah, I
- 11:27Speaker 6: guess I'm just saying all this to say that Elis
- 11:28Speaker 6: she's going to the national championship next year.
- 11:32Speaker 2: And then we'll be the kind of villain I like
- 11:34Speaker 2: to be. Yeah, which is its successful.
- 11:38Speaker 6: And Liane Kiffin, I'm just gonna say this, it's been
- 11:44Speaker 6: on a couple too many floats from my liking oh god,
- 11:47Speaker 6: yeah to too one's fine. Get back in the film room.
- 11:54Speaker 6: Who was just egregious too is a little too. You're
- 11:56Speaker 6: just showing off at this point. Let's get back in
- 11:58Speaker 6: the film room.
- 12:00Speaker 3: Somebody in this room caught some beats from me in
- 12:02Speaker 3: Saint Patrick's there, threw.
- 12:04Speaker 8: Him right at me.
- 12:06Speaker 9: Nice, you're not missing this hand? Yeah, one hand, team,
- 12:11Speaker 9: big hands.
- 12:13Speaker 8: He was like, look at that claw. Also, I'm even
- 12:16Speaker 8: for that right there.
- 12:19Speaker 9: Wait, did y'all see that tweet? I said, y'all yesterday
- 12:21Speaker 9: it was really funny. It was like, or maybe it
- 12:24Speaker 9: wasn't yesterday, but it was a tweet of Lane Kiffin
- 12:26Speaker 9: and Boozy like going out together on when Boozy was
- 12:30Speaker 9: performing at Earl Palooza or whatever. And the quote tweet said,
- 12:34Speaker 9: these two don't need to be together under any circumstances.
- 12:39Speaker 2: I missed that one.
- 12:40Speaker 6: Yeah, oh that's good. Anybody go to the concert?
- 12:44Speaker 2: I did not either.
- 12:46Speaker 8: Your girl can't make it that much when it's a lot.
- 12:49Speaker 2: I mean, would I have liked to?
- 12:51Speaker 5: Yeah? Is my life in a place where that's realistic? Impossible?
- 12:56Speaker 2: Absolutely not?
- 12:57Speaker 8: Bro I was hung over by like six pm.
- 13:00Speaker 2: Mm hmm.
- 13:01Speaker 8: I was not making it to Earls.
- 13:03Speaker 6: We're getting a babysitter. Why, boy, They're like I get it.
- 13:10Speaker 6: Let's go oh yeah, cool, understandable.
- 13:12Speaker 2: Dep Hey, let's go Boosey parking lot concert twenty minutes.
- 13:17Speaker 6: You're gonna miss coaching my baseball game? Yeah, yeah, it's boozy.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Yeah, Huck.
- 13:23Speaker 3: I think actually, of all people, Huck.
- 13:25Speaker 6: Would have understood. All right, dad, respect Yeah, go ahead.
- 13:35Speaker 6: Eight and a half, eight and a half. That's a
- 13:38Speaker 6: that's a fun number. I'm gonna check that out later.
- 13:40Speaker 5: Do you have do you happen to have some of
- 13:43Speaker 5: the other SEC totals in front of you?
- 13:45Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm right here. Hang on, I'll actually pull up
- 13:47Speaker 7: the graphic llo shoes actually closer to the top. So
- 13:51Speaker 7: there's two teams that are nine and a half. Obviously
- 13:56Speaker 7: it's going to be Texas and Georgia Alabama eight and
- 13:59Speaker 7: a half and eight and a half, LSU eight and
- 14:01Speaker 7: a half, everyone else below them.
- 14:04Speaker 2: It's actually a game, I feel like.
- 14:07Speaker 5: So they really honestly like now let's seeing the graphic.
- 14:11Speaker 5: They're not really valuing the SEC not like they typically
- 14:14Speaker 5: do because typically, like you'll have an eleven in there,
- 14:18Speaker 5: typically you'll have two ten and a half's in there,
- 14:21Speaker 5: and then everybody else to a couple of nine and
- 14:22Speaker 5: a half in then it's.
- 14:23Speaker 6: Or maybe they're I think they are value in the
- 14:25Speaker 6: SEC and they're just saying that top to bottom.
- 14:27Speaker 7: Is going to be really good, right, and they're taking
- 14:29Speaker 7: a consideration the extra conference game, you know, they're so
- 14:31Speaker 7: they're like, every team's gonna lose an extra game basically
- 14:34Speaker 7: like Texas and Georgia would be ten and a half.
- 14:36Speaker 6: And you send everybody low to piss off all the
- 14:39Speaker 6: fan bases, so everybody takes the over. Then at the
- 14:41Speaker 6: end of the day, they went right, everybody can't hit
- 14:45Speaker 6: the over, but LSU fans, after seeing this are going to.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Go take to the interwebs and play some wagers on
- 14:52Speaker 2: the over. Yep. And they should.
- 14:54Speaker 6: And it's a gaming move by Vegas because they're just
- 14:56Speaker 6: gonna take that money. They don't have to pay it
- 14:58Speaker 6: back out to the end of next season, so they're
- 14:59Speaker 6: just gonna interest on that money an offset any juice
- 15:03Speaker 6: that's paid out.
- 15:06Speaker 2: That's actually a good point. I never thought about that one.
- 15:08Speaker 6: Yeah, when you do future bets, they just they just
- 15:10Speaker 6: make they click interest on it. Yeah, So that's why
- 15:17Speaker 6: they make these because like they're like, oh, yeah, I'm
- 15:19Speaker 6: gonna go bet that for sure.
- 15:21Speaker 5: All right, we will take a break more ot B
- 15:23Speaker 5: when we come back here live from the Raising King Studio.
- 15:26Speaker 5: Off the bench, all right, when it's time to kick
- 15:29Speaker 5: back and a joy the game, make sure you've got
- 15:32Speaker 5: the right beer in your hand, and that is those sechies.

- 19:00Speaker 5: you were suddenly teleported to Europe in the thirteen hundreds.
- 19:04Speaker 7: What's your first meal? I mean, if do you think
- 19:06Speaker 7: I could find right? Like probably kill a wild animal
- 19:09Speaker 7: or something.
- 19:10Speaker 5: I mean, I'm probably not hungry. I'm probably in shock.
- 19:14Speaker 5: But after the shock, whereas all then you just go
- 19:17Speaker 5: find it here?
- 19:18Speaker 2: Yeah, you just going hunting Europe in the thirteen hundreds.
- 19:22Speaker 6: Yeah, that was during the plague the Bubonic played. Yes,
- 19:25Speaker 6: I'm gonna keep it to myself for sure, definitely keep
- 19:27Speaker 6: to myself. I'm definitely not going to London because London
- 19:30Speaker 6: was a cesspool. They didn't have a good sewage system.
- 19:33Speaker 6: That was pretty much bread. A lot of the flies,
- 19:35Speaker 6: a lot of the rats, a lot of the different
- 19:37Speaker 6: situations that were spreading the bubonic plague.
- 19:41Speaker 2: So I'm staying away. I'm staying a.
- 19:42Speaker 6: Rural maybe building a farming community. Now, you gotta get hydrated.
- 19:48Speaker 6: So that's the problem because if you just drank a
- 19:50Speaker 6: lot the night before, you gotta find a nice babbling brook.
- 19:54Speaker 8: Luckily you left amy high in your pocket.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Yeah. Does what you have with you you get to
- 20:02Speaker 2: take it with you? Yeah?
- 20:04Speaker 6: I mean I guess, so you'd have your cell phone
- 20:05Speaker 6: with you won't work because the satellites won't be up there.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 20:09Speaker 6: So I'd like to figure out I'd like to have
- 20:12Speaker 6: some research beforehand to figure out if I could figure
- 20:14Speaker 6: out a cure for the bubonic plague and bring it
- 20:16Speaker 6: with me, then I could become very wealthy off of that.
- 20:21Speaker 6: But then the ripple effects through time? What does that change?
- 20:26Speaker 6: What does that change through time?
- 20:27Speaker 2: Though?
- 20:27Speaker 6: If I do save half the population that died for
- 20:31Speaker 6: the bonic plate, like, what does that be the butterfly
- 20:33Speaker 6: effect of that?
- 20:34Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 20:34Speaker 6: Does some some really bad people survive there's some really
- 20:38Speaker 6: good people.
- 20:38Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 20:39Speaker 3: Somebody has a cure for gotta be careful.
- 20:42Speaker 2: That time travels a scary mother it is.
- 20:45Speaker 9: Which sucks because like when you wake up from a
- 20:47Speaker 9: night of drinking, really all you want is like water
- 20:50Speaker 9: burger and there's like no water burgers.
- 20:53Speaker 2: What are you gonna eat?
- 20:56Speaker 3: Right?
- 20:56Speaker 8: Like, what's the hangover food?
- 20:58Speaker 2: And even eat in the thirteen? Yeah?
- 21:02Speaker 8: Have you seen it?
- 21:03Speaker 5: The w the big whe can't miss it.
- 21:06Speaker 7: But they eat a lot of eggs on the French.
- 21:11Speaker 9: Yeah, they're like, yeah, eggsiled soup, eggs. Yeah, Like I'm
- 21:17Speaker 9: probably gonna go with some soup and like some sour
- 21:19Speaker 9: dough bread or something some.
- 21:21Speaker 2: Mead bad Yeah.
- 21:23Speaker 8: Hair hair of the dog, Yeah, hair of the dog.
- 21:26Speaker 2: I'll get you. Good question. That's a good question.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Well done, Very well done. Hashtag to b mail bag.
- 21:37Speaker 5: Did Tat a name his son Scott? No, he's name
- 21:40Speaker 5: name A Razor?
- 21:41Speaker 2: Yeah we already know we have a name picked up.
- 21:44Speaker 8: Yeah we know already told them.
- 21:47Speaker 7: Yeah, thanks, okay, but seriously we haven't name picked I'm
- 21:51Speaker 7: not gonna say it yet.
- 21:52Speaker 2: But yeah, you don't have to Razor, right, you got
- 21:55Speaker 2: you know what you're a guess that. Thank you.
- 21:57Speaker 5: Hashtag to be mail bag corned beef and can abage
- 22:00Speaker 5: ya or Nate. Yeah, I love corn beef and I
- 22:02Speaker 5: love cabin I never.
- 22:04Speaker 2: Had them together. Is that what these can?
- 22:06Speaker 6: But like, I love both individually, I'm gonna lat on both.
- 22:10Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, you're a baby eater.
- 22:12Speaker 6: I'll actually not a baby eater. Yeah you are, because
- 22:16Speaker 6: I don't eat corned beef. No, there's a lot of
- 22:18Speaker 6: things that you don't eat. Don't try to act Tommy.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I don't need beans because beans are awful. It's true.
- 22:22Speaker 6: He doesn't eat any beans, which is does two things, Titus,
- 22:28Speaker 6: it's two things. I'm very eclectic Palette, let's get who
- 22:33Speaker 6: has but who has the deeper conversations with chef? Every
- 22:35Speaker 6: week the chat you're just like, oh, what's the best
- 22:38Speaker 6: Medican cheese?
- 22:43Speaker 3: Ask the questions that our listeners give us, are you
- 22:45Speaker 3: calling them done?
- 22:46Speaker 2: Which Bucks has the best poster? Wow? You gotta ask
- 22:49Speaker 2: him this week? Best mac of juice? There's no doubt, No,
- 22:51Speaker 2: that's coming.
- 22:52Speaker 3: I bet actually I had it written down last week.
- 22:54Speaker 2: I didn't get to how do you make the best
- 22:56Speaker 2: grilled cheese? I bet he's got it. Incredible for both.
- 23:00Speaker 2: The answer to that sour dough.
- 23:02Speaker 6: Yeah, make sure mixture of cheeses.
- 23:06Speaker 2: I go provolon a Colby Jack.
- 23:08Speaker 8: I mean, I used to love a Colby Jack.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Real che it melts better Colby Jack does it? Does?
- 23:15Speaker 2: It just melts a little bit better?
- 23:16Speaker 1: You.
- 23:17Speaker 6: Actually, there's a formula can do any cheese you have,
- 23:20Speaker 6: Like if you try to make melted cheese sometimes, like
- 23:22Speaker 6: we used to try to make like pasten. I got
- 23:25Speaker 6: to the thing we were trying to make queso. Yeah,
- 23:27Speaker 6: but we couldn't get it to melt right. It's like stringy,
- 23:29Speaker 6: then it'd get greasy. There's ayes ive used sodium citrate
- 23:32Speaker 6: and its just like a tiny amount into any cheese
- 23:35Speaker 6: it'll make. I can't remember what the percent it's like
- 23:39Speaker 6: point three percent of the overall.
- 23:42Speaker 2: Weight mask whatever. I can't remember. It's great though, look
- 23:45Speaker 2: it up in a book like to break a metal sweat,
- 23:50Speaker 2: to grab the bull by the ones? Are you reading
- 23:56Speaker 2: the dictioneering metaphor?
- 24:03Speaker 3: All right?
- 24:04Speaker 2: Hashtag O t B mail Bag.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Will we get an asked event segment?
- 24:08Speaker 2: Yes?
- 24:08Speaker 5: Oh yeah, I promise today I got you be hashtag
- 24:11Speaker 5: O t B mail Bag doing anything special for Saint
- 24:14Speaker 5: Patrick's day today.
- 24:15Speaker 2: No, that was over the weekend. I've already done my.
- 24:18Speaker 5: It's pretty special show so far. Hashtag O Tob mail bag.
- 24:22Speaker 5: Everyone's seen the Leprekhan say.
- 24:24Speaker 6: Yeah, time you shot a light out of it disappears.
- 24:33Speaker 2: Hashtag O Tob mail bag.
- 24:34Speaker 5: Would you take the California Zephyr train from Chicago to
- 24:37Speaker 5: San Francisco?
- 24:38Speaker 2: That feels like a long ride, like a two hour,
- 24:42Speaker 2: three hour train ride. Max, I'm not doing that. Why
- 24:44Speaker 2: would you go to San Francisco? Yeah?
- 24:47Speaker 3: I was just there for a week.
- 24:50Speaker 2: There's poop on the ground. I don't want to go
- 24:53Speaker 2: to Chicago either. I don't want to go to either.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Chicago is great, Chicago's very cool.
- 24:57Speaker 2: Chicago's like the ultimate sports down. But I'm leaving.
- 25:00Speaker 5: I'll be walking down the street and be like, Oh,
- 25:01Speaker 5: you're the backup deep snapper from the Rams.
- 25:04Speaker 2: What mm hm? I love Chicago.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Now there's part just like everywhere, like like good Chicago, Yes, Sancisco.
- 25:13Speaker 6: Instantly transport to anywhere in California, and I'd say, why
- 25:17Speaker 6: would I out.
- 25:18Speaker 3: Of San Diego? Actually Newport Beach.
- 25:20Speaker 2: Down, I'd agree with you. I don't really need to
- 25:23Speaker 2: see any.
- 25:23Speaker 7: Northern California's were rural. They got a lot of a
- 25:26Speaker 7: lot of trees and something. I'll go to northern California.
- 25:28Speaker 2: Big trees, yeah, red redwood, biggest.
- 25:32Speaker 9: I would ride a train that like goes through the
- 25:34Speaker 9: mountains or something like Appalatia.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Yeah, trains are sweet.
- 25:37Speaker 8: I would do that.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 25:38Speaker 3: I rode my first one, like just not that long ago.
- 25:41Speaker 2: Nice.
- 25:41Speaker 5: I wasn't good. I went from Providence to New York.
- 25:47Speaker 2: That's fun. Yeah, that's some good scenes. I don't know
- 25:50Speaker 2: it's working, OK, but it was cool working on the train.
- 25:54Speaker 5: Rhode Island was going from Army Navy to cover the
- 25:57Speaker 5: Heisman Trophy ceremony the same day.
- 25:59Speaker 2: But you can still look out the window, I mean
- 26:00Speaker 2: a little bit. Yeah.
- 26:01Speaker 3: It was not bad, but I was trying to get questions.
- 26:05Speaker 2: Get can't good for you? I did not.
- 26:11Speaker 5: Hashtag go to the mailbag? Does Flint store his water
- 26:14Speaker 5: in his ankles like a camel?
- 26:18Speaker 2: No room, too much muscle mass.
- 26:22Speaker 3: Zero uh?
- 26:26Speaker 5: Hashtag go to the mail bag? Which is the most
- 26:28Speaker 5: overrated cut of beef?
- 26:31Speaker 8: Overrated cut of beef. They're all good.
- 26:36Speaker 9: Yeah, I mean I'm not gonna turn down, Like I'm
- 26:38Speaker 9: not really turning down any sort of cut, but overrated.
- 26:47Speaker 9: I was gonna say sirloin because everybody goes surloin, but
- 26:49Speaker 9: even sirloin is good.
- 26:53Speaker 2: This is overrated New York strip.
- 26:59Speaker 7: So for my initially it's funny you say that that's
- 27:02Speaker 7: what I was gonna go. It's like it's it's like
- 27:04Speaker 7: a file at but more fatty. So if you want leaner,
- 27:06Speaker 7: you go filet. A ribbot is probably cheaper than a
- 27:08Speaker 7: New York strip.
- 27:09Speaker 6: And you're getting the same thing like it just doesn't
- 27:11Speaker 6: and the good part, like when you want the fat,
- 27:13Speaker 6: like you the ribbi has the most delicious if you
- 27:15Speaker 6: cook the most delicious fat.
- 27:17Speaker 2: The New York strip like the fat.
- 27:18Speaker 6: I mean, people might have a different in my opinion,
- 27:21Speaker 6: the fat is nowhere.
- 27:22Speaker 2: It's a little bit more gristly and add to the flavor.
- 27:26Speaker 2: It's more like a brisket. And it's always expensive.
- 27:28Speaker 6: And I've never ordered a New York strip at a restaurant.
- 27:31Speaker 2: I've got. It's a tweeter between a full at and
- 27:34Speaker 2: a ribb.
- 27:34Speaker 6: It's kind of what it is, but some people have
- 27:37Speaker 6: a lot of pride in it. But it's just like
- 27:39Speaker 6: I cut when I get a New York strip, it's
- 27:41Speaker 6: got that inner layer of gristle. It's a little tough,
- 27:45Speaker 6: and I cut it the fat off and I don't
- 27:46Speaker 6: eat it with it like with a Ribbi.
- 27:47Speaker 2: I'm like trying to like get the fat put it
- 27:49Speaker 2: on the lean parts of the right. That's probably the answer.
- 27:52Speaker 2: That's the answer.
- 27:52Speaker 8: Yeah, good answer.
- 27:57Speaker 3: I told yous that's his world.
- 28:00Speaker 2: Bow.
- 28:01Speaker 6: I don't know if I agree that the Ribbis like
- 28:03Speaker 6: double the price of a New York Maybe in some
- 28:05Speaker 6: places I like it could have been.
- 28:07Speaker 2: Depends on where you go. I don't think if filat
- 28:10Speaker 2: is overrated what I usually get my top tier number one.
- 28:16Speaker 6: But like I don't enjoy Ribby's from a restaurant as
- 28:21Speaker 6: much as I do cooking them. You gotta cook the
- 28:23Speaker 6: Ribbi over flame, so a lot of restaurants don't do that.
- 28:27Speaker 6: Like if you got a flame cooking restaurant. Yeah, the
- 28:29Speaker 6: Ribbi is elite, Like getting a little bit of that
- 28:32Speaker 6: flame char on the fat is ideal.
- 28:35Speaker 2: Now the flat is better to me, the cast iron way.
- 28:38Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 28:39Speaker 2: No, Ribbis are don't get me wrong.
- 28:41Speaker 6: They're all They're both amazing, and they're both better than
- 28:44Speaker 6: New York strips.
- 28:48Speaker 3: Hashtag go to email bag most underrated cut of beef.
- 28:51Speaker 2: I'll go surloin.
- 28:52Speaker 7: I think I mean underrated because like everybody gets it.
- 28:55Speaker 7: I get that, but also it's kind of versatile. You
- 28:58Speaker 7: can cut it off.
- 28:58Speaker 8: I do love a surloing.
- 28:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you can cut up. It's it's not super thick
- 29:01Speaker 2: like the file a. That's it. That's it. That's state.
- 29:04Speaker 7: That's a heavy when you're looking for something a little
- 29:05Speaker 7: bit lighter, a sirloin.
- 29:07Speaker 2: I mean it. It's it's versatiletike man, I like everything name.
- 29:16Speaker 8: That's why I'm like, I don't know, but I can.
- 29:17Speaker 5: I can hammer down a rare filet. I can go
- 29:20Speaker 5: a rabbi as well.
- 29:21Speaker 6: I got two that are underrated, just because they're not
- 29:24Speaker 6: as well known. About more temperature than cut a pecana.
- 29:28Speaker 8: It's like the Brazilian one or whatever that sounds.
- 29:32Speaker 6: I've never been a try tip. You don't know what
- 29:35Speaker 6: a tri tip is. It's it's legit kind of you.
- 29:39Speaker 6: If you do it right, it's tough. If you don't
- 29:40Speaker 6: do it, then you got to cut it right.
- 29:43Speaker 2: It's legit.
- 29:45Speaker 5: What kind of alcoholic drinks at a child's birthday party?
- 29:49Speaker 8: Underrated? Wait? Sorry, underrated? You know what I love is
- 29:52Speaker 8: like I love flank steak. Oh yeah, I feel like
- 29:55Speaker 8: be underrated if you do it right. A flank steak
- 29:59Speaker 8: is like especially like steak freetz.
- 30:02Speaker 7: Yeah, well you can slice that boy off and do
- 30:04Speaker 7: like steak fahetas and stuff with it chery too.
- 30:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:09Speaker 2: M s A to your question about alcoholic drinks, No,
- 30:11Speaker 2: you're good. I agree with you.
- 30:12Speaker 5: Like flank, skate, skirt steak, like all that alcoholic drinks
- 30:16Speaker 5: that are like acceptable. I guess at a child's birthday party,
- 30:19Speaker 5: I say, pelters and beers, Yeah, completely fine.
- 30:23Speaker 2: Nobody you can do a dakri.
- 30:25Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, you just gotta, you know, keep it
- 30:28Speaker 3: away from the kids.
- 30:29Speaker 5: But yeah, it's not as like hard liquor feels like
- 30:32Speaker 5: a step too far, saying if you.
- 30:33Speaker 2: Don't want to drink the liquor, maybe it clear.
- 30:36Speaker 3: If you don't beer, kids, get out of hand.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Winds fine beer and wine.
- 30:42Speaker 6: Yeah, seltzers, I put that the same, like beers.
- 30:46Speaker 5: There was a birthday party that of yours, not that
- 30:48Speaker 5: many years ago, where people were shotgunning selters.
- 30:51Speaker 2: You know, it happens. I mean, it's fine.
- 30:53Speaker 6: Someone said in the chat, I'd never understood why you
- 30:55Speaker 6: serve alcohol at a kid's birthday party.
- 30:57Speaker 2: That's more of a B y O B situation. It's like,
- 31:00Speaker 2: if you want to do it, yeah, it may have
- 31:03Speaker 2: been here.
- 31:04Speaker 5: Adults like to have fun too. Yeah, as long as
- 31:07Speaker 5: you're doing responsibly.
- 31:10Speaker 8: No one's getting like throwed on.
- 31:12Speaker 6: They're not serving at like a skate ring party, all right,
- 31:17Speaker 6: skating ring uh.
- 31:20Speaker 5: Last one hashtag asked the bench how do you know? Ye?
- 31:25Speaker 2: How do you have your state cooked?
- 31:27Speaker 7: Depends on the place. Rare, No, that's just too chewy
- 31:32Speaker 7: for me. I don't have anything against it. It just
- 31:34Speaker 7: a little too cheery.
- 31:34Speaker 8: Medium.
- 31:35Speaker 7: I go medium to medium rare depending on where it's at,
- 31:38Speaker 7: but most of the time medium.
- 31:40Speaker 6: Fair, medium rare plus medium medium media.
- 31:46Speaker 2: I've never met anybody.
- 31:46Speaker 5: I mean, I'm not trying to be funny like usually
- 31:48Speaker 5: people from Texas are more in my like thinking of steak.
- 31:51Speaker 8: I don't like them super super like I want to have.
- 31:57Speaker 2: I am.
- 31:57Speaker 8: I wanted to have it a little cooked, I mean
- 32:01Speaker 8: right in the middle.
- 32:02Speaker 5: I still I steal the line from Yellowstone, Lean down, whisper,
- 32:05Speaker 5: heat to it and pull it off the grill.
- 32:07Speaker 2: I think, if you're I get it.
- 32:09Speaker 7: I do medium a lot, because like if I'm going
- 32:11Speaker 7: to a place and I'm like, do they slightly overcook it?
- 32:13Speaker 7: Do they slightly undercook it that medium area. I'll enjoy
- 32:16Speaker 7: it either way, depend on how they cook it. So
- 32:18Speaker 7: that's that's like my scene.
- 32:19Speaker 9: Sometimes if I know, if I go to a place
- 32:21Speaker 9: and I know they undercook it, I'll do medium.
- 32:24Speaker 2: Well I know, no, that'd be well.
- 32:32Speaker 9: If it's like well or like well done. Only if
- 32:36Speaker 9: I know the place under cooks.
- 32:38Speaker 2: Get That might be the first time I've ever been disappointed.
- 32:40Speaker 8: In you know, when I forgot the mics.
- 32:42Speaker 6: I don't even know medium, though we figured that out.
- 32:47Speaker 6: I'll say this for me, it's the cut of meat.
- 32:49Speaker 6: If I'm going to file at, I want it medium
- 32:52Speaker 6: rare like I want that I want it. I want
- 32:53Speaker 6: it pretty rare inside. Now, if I'm going to ribbi,
- 32:56Speaker 6: like I said, I like the flame grill. Like usually
- 32:59Speaker 6: you can't get a good charre, I want to cook a.
- 33:02Speaker 2: Ribbi a little bit more.
- 33:04Speaker 6: I don't want it all the way to medium, but
- 33:06Speaker 6: I want it in between that medium medium rare.
- 33:08Speaker 2: I want to I want I want to cooked more.
- 33:11Speaker 2: That's that's my plus.
- 33:12Speaker 6: That's why I order medium are plus and most steak
- 33:14Speaker 6: cows will be like, yep, got it. I know exactly
- 33:17Speaker 6: what you mean. So Ribby a little bit more cooked
- 33:21Speaker 6: than my filets.
- 33:25Speaker 5: So not like the Cowboy Way scene where you say,
- 33:28Speaker 5: cut off the horns, wipe it's nasty, you know what,
- 33:31Speaker 5: throw it on plate.
- 33:33Speaker 2: No, I don't.
- 33:35Speaker 6: I don't understand that one. I don't disrespect it.
- 33:40Speaker 2: I mean it's an elite line. If you're at a restaurant,
- 33:42Speaker 2: it is a good line.
- 33:43Speaker 5: I mean you're in a cowboy hat and you're WILLI
- 33:45Speaker 5: Harrelson and you know, yeah, I got all right, we'll
- 33:51Speaker 5: take a break more O t B when we come
- 33:54Speaker 5: back here live from the Raisin King Studio. All right,
- 33:59Speaker 5: go to f ABT dot com First American Bank in Trust.
- 34:02Speaker 5: They've been in this game for one hundred and sixteen years.
- 34:05Speaker 3: That's a pretty long time. It is over a century.
- 34:09Speaker 2: Matthew.
- 34:10Speaker 5: Can you stay in business? You're a business owner. I'm
- 34:12Speaker 5: a business owner. Can you stay in business if you're
- 34:14Speaker 5: doing things the wrong way for over one hundred years?
- 34:16Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 34:16Speaker 5: Probably not even one hundred days, That's what I was thinking.

- 37:03Speaker 5: of course built for Louisiana and Matthew. What's your boy
- 37:15Speaker 5: Aaron Rodgers gonna do? I was talking about him yesterday.
- 37:21Speaker 5: I started thinking about you talking about him over on
- 37:23Speaker 5: NFL radio, and I was trying to like place Garrett
- 37:27Speaker 5: Garrett Nesmyer was a conversation. I was trying to place
- 37:29Speaker 5: Garrettnsmeyer somewhere, and I was like, you know, we're talking
- 37:33Speaker 5: about the Rams, which makes sense behind Stafford. He's got
- 37:36Speaker 5: a lot of Stafford qualities. I started like trying to well,
- 37:40Speaker 5: you know, maybe this by I was like, what about Pittsburgh.
- 37:43Speaker 5: I was like, cause Aaron said on the Pat McAfee show,
- 37:45Speaker 5: they haven't offered him a contract, all right, even though
- 37:48Speaker 5: Mike McCarthy's the coach there, there's obviously ties the other
- 37:51Speaker 5: quarterbacks on their roster. Mason Rudolpho's a career backup, and
- 37:56Speaker 5: you got Will Howard. You took him in the sixth round.
- 37:58Speaker 5: I know you like him, but six round pick doesn't
- 38:01Speaker 5: necessarily guarantee you to be a starter. I started to think, Okay, well,
- 38:06Speaker 5: let me ask Matt Tomorrow. Because he knows garrettness Meyer,
- 38:09Speaker 5: he knows Mike McCarthy, he knows the system, he knows
- 38:13Speaker 5: Garrett's skill set. Would garrettess Meyer play well in that system?
- 38:19Speaker 2: Yeah? I think you.
- 38:20Speaker 6: I mean, I don't really know, but for many quarterback
- 38:24Speaker 6: styles that wouldn't fit in well with a West Coast
- 38:27Speaker 6: style offense.
- 38:29Speaker 2: The one thing that.
- 38:31Speaker 6: You have to have in that is really good footwork,
- 38:34Speaker 6: which Garrettsmeyer did not have this past season. Yeah, so
- 38:37Speaker 6: you have to have really but I don't really know
- 38:39Speaker 6: if anyone like I don't. I didn't have good footwork
- 38:41Speaker 6: coming out of college. From from that standpoint, now I didn't,
- 38:44Speaker 6: I wouldn't like throwing off my back foot kind of
- 38:46Speaker 6: like Garrett got into and.
- 38:47Speaker 2: He was.
- 38:49Speaker 5: Trying to create the work and getting getting getting his
- 38:51Speaker 5: teeth kicked in every single game and also you know,
- 38:55Speaker 5: not being able to throw with his abs. But it's
- 38:58Speaker 5: very footwork based and football sound, and so you have
- 39:04Speaker 5: you have multiple options on every single play. When you're
- 39:06Speaker 5: dropping back, you have a five step with no hitch option,
- 39:11Speaker 5: and if it's not there, you take a hitch and
- 39:13Speaker 5: you go through your progressions. There's a lot of progressions
- 39:16Speaker 5: with options.
- 39:16Speaker 6: There's pure progressions, there's pre snap reeds, there's everything that
- 39:21Speaker 6: you could want from a quarterback and puts it on
- 39:24Speaker 6: your shoulders. And that's I think Garrett can certainly handle that.
- 39:28Speaker 6: From a protection standpoint, the quarterback handles that and if
- 39:33Speaker 6: you're in the in the theory behind that. In Mike
- 39:35Speaker 6: McCarthy's offense is the quarterback handles the protections. So if
- 39:40Speaker 6: he's wrong, which you're not always going to guess right,
- 39:42Speaker 6: especially in this day and age in the NFL where
- 39:44Speaker 6: there are expert teams and coaches and safeties in linebackers
- 39:50Speaker 6: at disguising things. You're just not going to guess right
- 39:52Speaker 6: one hundred percent of the time. You take all the
- 39:54Speaker 6: information in, you do your prep work, you do your studying,
- 39:58Speaker 6: and you have a good idea, but you're going to
- 40:00Speaker 6: be right one hundred percent of the time. But the
- 40:01Speaker 6: problem is is with offenses that allowed the line and
- 40:04Speaker 6: the center to make those calls.
- 40:07Speaker 2: There's a lot of times a quarterbay doesn't here.
- 40:08Speaker 6: When I was in Seattle, Max Hunger, who was the
- 40:12Speaker 6: center in Seattle, made every protection call in the offense.
- 40:16Speaker 6: And I argued with the coaches every day every day.
- 40:19Speaker 6: I don't think they like that you did. And I
- 40:22Speaker 6: was like, let us make the call. And because most
- 40:25Speaker 6: of the off season I was the number one quarterback
- 40:28Speaker 6: until you know, halfway through training camp whatever, so I
- 40:31Speaker 6: was alrighty, like, let me make the call. I cannot
- 40:33Speaker 6: hear what he's doing and he's changing it last second.
- 40:35Speaker 6: So the theory, Like, it's not a theory. If you
- 40:39Speaker 6: make a Mike right call, yeah, and it means the
- 40:42Speaker 6: line slide and it's got the four down and the
- 40:44Speaker 6: Sam linebacker the back as the mic to the will
- 40:48Speaker 6: to everybody else. Great, I know exactly if they bring
- 40:52Speaker 6: if they bring Mike and Will, I'm hot, yeah right.
- 40:55Speaker 6: But if they then if the line's making the call
- 40:58Speaker 6: and they and I think they're going, Mike rides to
- 41:00Speaker 6: the Sam and they go Mike in the middle called
- 41:03Speaker 6: the mic the mic, and they bring Mike and Will.
- 41:06Speaker 6: I might think I'm hot, but I'm not hot, you
- 41:09Speaker 6: know what I mean. And it works vice versus. So
- 41:11Speaker 6: that's the kind of offense that Mike McCarthy runs, and
- 41:14Speaker 6: I would say the majority of the NFL does. Sean
- 41:18Speaker 6: Payton's was a little bit different. It wasn't necessarily that
- 41:21Speaker 6: type of He does a lot more slide protections five
- 41:25Speaker 6: man slides seven man.
- 41:26Speaker 2: I didn't.
- 41:27Speaker 6: I did not like Sean Payton's protection offense. Uh like
- 41:31Speaker 6: the protection assignments. Now, some of it was more standard,
- 41:33Speaker 6: but some of it kind of went against what I
- 41:35Speaker 6: had always been kind of taught to do. I'm not
- 41:38Speaker 6: saying it's wrong he just wasn't the west traditional West
- 41:41Speaker 6: Coast style.
- 41:41Speaker 2: To do it.
- 41:43Speaker 6: So, uh, I think he would fit in. Well, he's
- 41:46Speaker 6: he would have to work on his footwork, but that's
- 41:48Speaker 6: what the position.
- 41:50Speaker 2: Going to be Dan's because of the injury.
- 41:52Speaker 5: Like going back to the junior tape, did you see
- 41:54Speaker 5: as much throwing off the back foot?
- 41:56Speaker 6: And I mean not really no, well yeah, no, not
- 41:58Speaker 6: thrown off the back foot, but but yeah, the kind
- 42:02Speaker 6: of the West Coast I'm gonna air quote because everything's
- 42:04Speaker 6: like a amalgamation of a lot of different offenses, but
- 42:07Speaker 6: the basis of Mike McCarthy's offense is West Coast is
- 42:12Speaker 6: really you know, he's a right foot forward guy and shotgun.
- 42:15Speaker 6: The clap count's hard to say when anybody's going to
- 42:17Speaker 6: translate to you get to the next level, you are
- 42:21Speaker 6: going to be under center. That's where the football really
- 42:23Speaker 6: comes into play. Like shotgun, your three step drop you
- 42:27Speaker 6: sit on like the way that quarterbacks play now wider base.
- 42:30Speaker 6: You sit on your platform. It's not like the old
- 42:32Speaker 6: traditional you're up one, two, three, and then if you
- 42:34Speaker 6: get to your fourth hitch, you better run or throw
- 42:36Speaker 6: it away like you're sitting on a wider base. Platform
- 42:39Speaker 6: now creating all of your power from within your the
- 42:42Speaker 6: radius around you and not really stepping forward. It's a
- 42:44Speaker 6: little bit different than the older way to play quarterback,
- 42:47Speaker 6: but I think but he does that really well. He
- 42:49Speaker 6: creates all his power from his little inner circle right there, right,
- 42:54Speaker 6: and that's what all the good quarterbacks do, So yes,
- 42:56Speaker 6: can he do it?
- 42:57Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 42:57Speaker 2: He does.
- 42:57Speaker 6: Like every quarterback that's played on the ke McCarthy has
- 43:00Speaker 6: had some form of success, even Deck.
- 43:04Speaker 5: I know, we gotta go, but I made multiple quarterbacks
- 43:07Speaker 5: at the combine. Give me their snapcount, because I like,
- 43:11Speaker 5: we're not clapping here.
- 43:12Speaker 2: They say, pretty good. Mendoza is actually pretty good. You've
- 43:15Speaker 2: been working on it.
