- 3:42Speaker 1: we know you all are here. We love you.
- 3:45Speaker 2: But let's just get right into it.
- 3:47Speaker 1: Let's cut the bullshit. Let's get right into the research.
- 3:50Speaker 1: All right. And who is.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Mister John Thomas Mason.
- 3:55Speaker 1: Well, I'll tell you, We will tell you. Let's see
- 4:04Speaker 1: here if I can get on the right winder to share.
- 4:12Speaker 2: Robbie cabs.
- 4:14Speaker 1: All right. So John Thomas Mason was a gun shop
- 4:21Speaker 1: owner in Dallas, and he was one of two gun
- 4:27Speaker 1: shops in Dallas in nineteen sixty three that had for
- 4:32Speaker 1: sale some man liquor kr kano six and a half
- 4:36Speaker 1: inch millimeter excuse me, ammunition. He went in with a
- 4:40Speaker 1: buddy of his and they split a case of a
- 4:43Speaker 1: thousand between the two of them, and they got it
- 4:48Speaker 1: for fairly cheap. It was. He described it as a
- 4:51Speaker 1: very obscure type of ammunition. Of course, he did not
- 4:55Speaker 1: recall selling any to Lee Harvey Oswald. I'm going to church,
- 4:59Speaker 1: he remember selling any at all to anybody who knows.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Like I said, it's very weird ammunition to have. But
- 5:08Speaker 1: he was one of two stores in Dallas that did
- 5:10Speaker 1: have it. And you got to figure that Oswald or
- 5:15Speaker 1: whoever had this rifle needed some bullets.
- 5:19Speaker 3: You know.
- 5:20Speaker 1: We found the spence shells, some a couple of unspend shells.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But where's the rest of them, Joe, Where's the rest
- 5:29Speaker 1: of the box of the bullets? Right?
- 5:31Speaker 2: I don't believe there was any recovered at his home, right?
- 5:38Speaker 1: I mean? And Oswald's pack ratted everything, and I mean
- 5:42Speaker 1: everything he would have definitely kept, you know, even if
- 5:47Speaker 1: there was one bullet left, he would have definitely kept
- 5:50Speaker 1: the pack with the one bullet in there, you know
- 5:52Speaker 1: what I mean? Yes, you know, to think that he
- 5:56Speaker 1: had a case, and I don't know how many would
- 5:58Speaker 1: have been in a case, maybe what fifty? I don't know.
- 6:05Speaker 1: I don't know. And you figure he had two or
- 6:09Speaker 1: three I think two unspent shells in the clip, and
- 6:16Speaker 1: of course we have the three spence shells. That only
- 6:18Speaker 1: accounts for five bullets, five or six bullets. Where's the
- 6:23Speaker 1: rest of them? Did he go to the gun range
- 6:25Speaker 1: and shoot them all? I don't know. But anyway back
- 6:30Speaker 1: to John Thomas Mason. Now, there were some curious things
- 6:35Speaker 1: that happened in Dallas leading up to November twenty second,
- 6:41Speaker 1: nineteen sixty three. There was what we like to call
- 6:45Speaker 1: around here, some fuckery abound, if you will, as per
- 6:51Speaker 1: the usual in this case, but there was some investigations
- 6:59Speaker 1: going on between the Dallas Police, between the at F
- 7:05Speaker 1: which was actually called the at T at the time,
- 7:10Speaker 1: the Bureau of Alcohol Taxation and something else I can't
- 7:19Speaker 1: remember what, but it was called the AT and T.
- 7:22Speaker 1: And there was a guy named Frank Ellsworth who was
- 7:28Speaker 1: investigating a lot of this gun running and fukery going
- 7:32Speaker 1: on in Dallas. And we'll see his name on all
- 7:36Speaker 1: kinds of these documents that we're going to be looking
- 7:39Speaker 1: at here today. He's all over the place, Frank Ellsworth.
- 7:43Speaker 1: He's been accused of being the document. What are you doing, Joe,
- 7:52Speaker 1: I got lost this time, but you got the explosive diarrhea.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Yes, Ellsworth atf Asia, Yes, yeah.
- 8:06Speaker 1: He's all over this case. You'll see him pop up
- 8:09Speaker 1: from time to time. But let me show you something
- 8:13Speaker 1: that I found. It's interesting, all right. What we're looking
- 8:20Speaker 1: at here, Joe, is a police Department City of Dallas
- 8:25Speaker 1: case report. All right, okay. This is not an arrest
- 8:31Speaker 1: report like we've all seen. This is a weird one
- 8:37Speaker 1: like this is a case report, okay, yes, and it
- 8:45Speaker 1: was filed on as you can see the date here,
- 8:48Speaker 1: eleven twenty two or I'm sorry, eleven twenty one, sixty three,
- 8:53Speaker 1: So this is the day before the assassination right here
- 9:00Speaker 1: on the right side. Yeah, yeah, So it tells you
- 9:06Speaker 1: the investigating officers, Homer Burris and TJ. Taylor, the arresting officers.
- 9:13Speaker 1: I don't know what that even says. On bond Jimmy
- 9:19Speaker 1: Cook at Turney. This disposition whatever this is for this
- 9:25Speaker 1: case report is stamped December sixteenth, nineteen sixty three, which is,
- 9:29Speaker 1: of course after the assassination and after Oswald has been killed.
- 9:35Speaker 1: But back down here, so the defendant, John Thomas Mason
- 9:44Speaker 1: White man twenty three male. Date of arrest right here, eleven,
- 9:52Speaker 1: twenty sixty three.
- 9:54Speaker 2: Right, he was arrested and then re arrested.
- 10:00Speaker 1: Correct, No, he was arrested on the twentieth. They filed
- 10:07Speaker 1: this case report on the twenty first, and the disposition
- 10:11Speaker 1: was I guess the hearing was on sixteenth. Okay, Okay?
- 10:19Speaker 1: See right down here says location with the defendant. He
- 10:22Speaker 1: was out on bond. I guess he bonded out after
- 10:26Speaker 1: he was arrested on the twentieth. Okay, And he stayed
- 10:33Speaker 1: out or at large until he went to court for
- 10:38Speaker 1: December sixteenth. I'm not a lawyer, but I played one
- 10:42Speaker 1: on YouTube. Okay, all right? Why was he arrested? Why
- 10:53Speaker 1: was he charged? What was his case about? Well, h
- 10:59Speaker 1: this genius, John Thomas Mason was he was charged with
- 11:11Speaker 1: illegal possession of explosives in accordance with Penal Code Articles
- 11:16Speaker 1: seventeen twenty three. And what that means is he had
- 11:22Speaker 1: and I'll read the list here thirty nine and a
- 11:24Speaker 1: half sticks of her call number two. These are two
- 11:28Speaker 1: inch by eight inch sticks of dynamite. One stick of
- 11:32Speaker 1: number two her call one inch by six inches. Also
- 11:36Speaker 1: one broken stick of that two sticks of viber jail
- 11:39Speaker 1: number three sixty percent two and a half by twenty
- 11:43Speaker 1: two inches. That is a long stick joe of dynamite.
- 11:48Speaker 1: That's what she said. Also one broken stick of the
- 11:52Speaker 1: same sixteen viber night. These sound like vibrator parts. Sixteen
- 11:58Speaker 1: viber nights two inches in diameter, one full in a
- 12:04Speaker 1: box of hercules blasting caps one hundred number six copy
- 12:10Speaker 1: to tap top box. I don't know. One hundred feet
- 12:16Speaker 1: of Clover brand safety fuse, eight hundred feet of bichord
- 12:21Speaker 1: primer cord. This was the remainder of a thousand foot roll, Okay,
- 12:27Speaker 1: And they took all this shit all right now down
- 12:31Speaker 1: here in a little bit in a little bit of
- 12:32Speaker 1: ways again. This Johnny Genius, the defendant, was doing business
- 12:37Speaker 1: at you know, se four h two Harry Hines Boulevard
- 12:40Speaker 1: in a gun shop. The Federal offers officers within the
- 12:44Speaker 1: Alcohol Tax Division. As the att received information that this
- 12:52Speaker 1: person had the illegal weapons, they called the investigating officers
- 12:56Speaker 1: who met them at this location and the above listed
- 12:58Speaker 1: explosives were recovered. The crime lab was asked to report
- 13:02Speaker 1: to this location and took these articles to the police
- 13:05Speaker 1: Pistol range for storage. This person was placed under arrest
- 13:10Speaker 1: by the federal officers and charged with National Firearms Act.
- 13:22Speaker 1: So we have these Dallas Police Department officers. They had
- 13:25Speaker 1: said that they will testify that the defendant was in
- 13:28Speaker 1: charge of the business and was there when investigating officers arrived,
- 13:32Speaker 1: that he had the explosives get this, folks on display
- 13:36Speaker 1: in the store for sale. So he had all this
- 13:40Speaker 1: dynamite blasting caps, deck cord, like just set up on
- 13:46Speaker 1: a table, Joe, like, you know, hey, look at this.
- 13:50Speaker 2: Yes, he was not being covert about it, got that.
- 13:54Speaker 1: Right this time. Yes, not being very covert about it.
- 13:57Speaker 1: You know, like when you're trying to buy a weed
- 13:59Speaker 1: and e vape, you know, like, hey, buddy said, y'all
- 14:02Speaker 1: got the good stuff here, right, you know, don't do that, guys,
- 14:08Speaker 1: get out of here, cop. But no, this guy has
- 14:13Speaker 1: balls enough to just set it up on a table
- 14:17Speaker 1: and say, hey, it's for sale, and uh that the
- 14:22Speaker 1: investigating uh something raised or asked the crime lab Detective
- 14:28Speaker 1: Pete Barnes and Detective Studebaker, whose names well know from
- 14:32Speaker 1: the Kennedy assassination, to uh place these articles at the
- 14:37Speaker 1: police pistol range for storage. Witnesses witness list all right.
- 14:42Speaker 1: Second name down here, Frank Ellsworth, right, and they will
- 14:48Speaker 1: all testify that they saw the dynamite in the defendant
- 14:51Speaker 1: position possession when they were taking their case for the
- 14:55Speaker 1: illegal weapons that the defendant had and called the investigating
- 14:58Speaker 1: officers at the store at for to Harry Hines Boulevard.
- 15:03Speaker 1: These are all other investigative officers, YadA, YadA, YadA. Now
- 15:08Speaker 1: the reason they were there all this was just like
- 15:15Speaker 1: a like a dessert for them, all right, because they
- 15:21Speaker 1: were in fact investigating this guy for purchasing illegal firearms
- 15:32Speaker 1: from possibly our military or corrupt officers in our military.
- 15:40Speaker 2: All Right, you will, yes, with possibly allegedly help from
- 15:47Speaker 2: our good friend mister Ruby.
- 15:51Speaker 1: Yeah, but we'll get there, we promise, all right. Stop
- 16:02Speaker 1: that one.
- 16:04Speaker 2: Ain't that the truth?
- 16:05Speaker 1: Mike Love can't beat it? Well, you can just you know,
- 16:10Speaker 1: throw some dynamite on the table and fifty centsus stick. Yeah.
- 16:17Speaker 1: All right. Here we have an FBI document dated March
- 16:23Speaker 1: seventeen sixty four concerning the Special Agent in Charge Dallas,
- 16:29Speaker 1: especially in charge San Antonio, Oh John Thomas Mason akais
- 16:34Speaker 1: Cuba neutrality matters, which we've all seen all over Lee
- 16:38Speaker 1: Harvey Oswald documents from the FBI as well. Now what
- 16:42Speaker 1: this letter states is it for the information of Dallas.
- 16:48Speaker 1: Captain George C. Nanti has been contacted on January thirtieth,
- 16:53Speaker 1: sixty four and again on March tenth by Charles Smith
- 16:57Speaker 1: at Fort Hood, Texas, and on each k Captain Nante
- 17:01Speaker 1: advised that he had had no contact initiated by Mason
- 17:06Speaker 1: relative to the caption matter. Captain Nante did advise on
- 17:10Speaker 1: March tenth that he had made ten telephonic contact with
- 17:14Speaker 1: Mason approximately two weeks prior to see if Mason had
- 17:18Speaker 1: knowledge of anyone interested in purchasing several of his Nanties
- 17:22Speaker 1: guns from his personal notice not military, personal collection of
- 17:28Speaker 1: over one hundred guns. He's got, Joe, But at the
- 17:33Speaker 1: time Mason was unable to assist in the sale of
- 17:35Speaker 1: these guns. Nante expressed the basis for his attempt to
- 17:39Speaker 1: sell guns from his personal collection. It's financial. At the
- 17:43Speaker 1: present time, I need a little money, you know what
- 17:45Speaker 1: I mean?
- 17:46Speaker 3: Ye?
- 17:46Speaker 2: He never retired the next year, by the way, in
- 17:49Speaker 2: sixty four.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, Now, they were sniffing around Nanty and Mason because
- 17:57Speaker 1: they had been watching them and they knew that Nanti
- 18:01Speaker 1: had been selling Mason. These surplus allegedly military weapons, They're
- 18:09Speaker 1: not really from Nante's personal private collection. Okay, this is
- 18:14Speaker 1: all Nanti's story and he's sticking to it right. Nanti
- 18:20Speaker 1: stated that he made no inquiry of Mason relative to
- 18:22Speaker 1: his forthcoming trial and that Mason volunteered no comment in
- 18:26Speaker 1: this regard. Here we got Frank Ellsworth again. Oh there
- 18:29Speaker 1: it is at and T that alcohol, Tobacco and taxi
- 18:32Speaker 1: unit special as in Frank Ellsworth, assigned to the Dallas,
- 18:37Speaker 1: Texas office, was interviewed by Charles Smith and Fort Hood,
- 18:41Speaker 1: at which Tom Ellsworth related that he had worked under cover.
- 18:44Speaker 1: Got you, motherfucker during the investigation which led to the
- 18:48Speaker 1: arrest of John Thomas Mason on eleven, twenty sixty three
- 18:51Speaker 1: at Dallas, Texas and in part of the information that
- 18:56Speaker 1: had been learned from Mason during his undercover status, which
- 18:59Speaker 1: indicates that Captain George Nante had been a source of
- 19:04Speaker 1: supply of arms and AMMO to Mason allegedly during the
- 19:08Speaker 1: Allegedly during the period of time that Nante was furnishing
- 19:12Speaker 1: information of Mason's activities in purchasing arms for the Cuban
- 19:15Speaker 1: revolutionaries to the FBI for Texas. Yeah.
- 19:20Speaker 2: Now, yeah, I'll continue your thoughts and I'll try it.
- 19:24Speaker 1: Okay, this is where things get a little complicated. So
- 19:29Speaker 1: just to back up a minute, we have the AT
- 19:34Speaker 1: and T, which is basically the ATF working under cover
- 19:43Speaker 1: to try to bust a guy in the military selling
- 19:49Speaker 1: allegedly surplus weapons to a gun shop owner for resale.
- 19:57Speaker 1: And then allegedly you have George, a military guy, ratting
- 20:05Speaker 1: John Thomas Mason out to the FBI for pressuring him
- 20:09Speaker 1: to supply him with arms and ammunition for the Cuban revolutionaries. Okay,
- 20:21Speaker 1: so what he's saying is, allegedly Mason came to him
- 20:25Speaker 1: said he needed a bunch of weapons for some Cuban revolutionaries,
- 20:29Speaker 1: and then Nanny went to the FBI and snitched. But
- 20:34Speaker 1: apparently the FBI was like, okay, well just play along,
- 20:39Speaker 1: we'll keep tabs on everything, whatever. Whatever. So you have
- 20:43Speaker 1: two factions of the of our government working against each other.
- 20:48Speaker 1: Didn't know it at the time. Allegedly, That's exactly what
- 20:52Speaker 1: I was going to say.
- 20:53Speaker 2: We have another example of interagency conflict non communication.
- 20:59Speaker 1: Yeah, spy games. Yeah, we're right dead in the middle
- 21:04Speaker 1: of it. Right before the assassination in Dallas, of all
- 21:08Speaker 1: f and places. So Ellsworth related that he was present
- 21:14Speaker 1: in Mason's sporting goods in his store in Dallas one
- 21:18Speaker 1: another att agent, William Fuller of New Mexico, both of
- 21:23Speaker 1: whom were undercover posing his buyers. All right, so he
- 21:26Speaker 1: got Ellsworth posing undercover along with his other FBI agent
- 21:29Speaker 1: or att agent, William Fuller. They're posing his buyers, trying
- 21:35Speaker 1: to get some illegal weapons. A short time prior to
- 21:39Speaker 1: Mason's arrest, when he witnessed a telephone conversation between Mason
- 21:42Speaker 1: and Nanty in which Mason repeated the conversation of Nanty
- 21:47Speaker 1: for the benefit of Fuller in Ellsworth, during which conversation
- 21:50Speaker 1: Nante supposedly agreed to accept thirty thousand dollars, which was
- 21:55Speaker 1: a lot of fucking money in nineteen sixty three, folks,
- 22:00Speaker 1: Ray Joe, Yes it was. I mean that's over a
- 22:03Speaker 1: quarter of a million dollars.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yes, well over, long over, but yeah, for.
- 22:09Speaker 1: The purchase of three hundred guns consisting of Grease guns, bars,
- 22:16Speaker 1: and Thompson machine guns submachine guns that were allegedly salvaged
- 22:20Speaker 1: from a South or Central American revolution and were cacheted
- 22:25Speaker 1: south of the Rio Grande river, with no country being specified.
- 22:30Speaker 1: According to Ellsworth, bargaining back and forth between Fuller himself, Mason,
- 22:34Speaker 1: and Nanti resulted in the agreed purchase price of thirty
- 22:37Speaker 1: thousand dollars. But the Nanzi had stated that he would
- 22:40Speaker 1: guarantee safe delivery of the arms to any reasonable designated
- 22:43Speaker 1: place in Texas from their present location south of the border,
- 22:47Speaker 1: if they could agree upon a satisfactory down payment to
- 22:51Speaker 1: be delivered prior to the delivery of the guns. Okay,
- 22:55Speaker 1: So now we have Nanti. They made a deal, And
- 23:00Speaker 1: I honestly don't think that these weapons were coming from
- 23:03Speaker 1: south of the border, from some South American revolution, Okay,
- 23:09Speaker 1: And that Nanti agreed to deliver three hundred weapons anywhere
- 23:13Speaker 1: in Texas that you like. I mean, he may may have.
- 23:16Speaker 1: But again, they're not coming from south of the border, folks.
- 23:19Speaker 1: These are coming straight from Fort Hood and Fort Dix
- 23:22Speaker 1: and wherever the hell else they're coming from.
- 23:24Speaker 2: Yes, and Mike, Mike the libraryman asked as Monte and
- 23:29Speaker 2: the army, And yes.
- 23:31Speaker 1: Right, yes, it was out of Forebode. Yes, yeah, so
- 23:36Speaker 1: specially Agent Elsewhere said that his office had written two
- 23:40Speaker 1: reports concerning their investigation of Mason which would incorporate much
- 23:43Speaker 1: of the above info and more detail, and that such
- 23:45Speaker 1: reports have been disseminated to the where Joe one and
- 23:51Speaker 1: twelve where we heard this one before? Military intelligence, Yeah,
- 23:57Speaker 1: Region two to agent who Joe ed col Yeah, and
- 24:04Speaker 1: I'm sure folks out there your ears just perked up
- 24:07Speaker 1: a little bit. Okay, Ed Coyle, I believe, Now, don't
- 24:13Speaker 1: quote me on this, but I believe they talked to
- 24:15Speaker 1: Ed Coyle. The HCA did. It's part of the one
- 24:18Speaker 1: hundred and twelfth you know, the whole thing with the
- 24:25Speaker 1: Oliverstone movie and the Fletcher Prouty bullshit that was Oh
- 24:28Speaker 1: it was one hundred and twelfth military intelligence unit. They
- 24:32Speaker 1: were supposed to assist in protecting the president that day
- 24:34Speaker 1: and didn't. They were told to stand down, you know whatever.
- 24:37Speaker 1: You know, all that bullshit, because if you remember, Joe,
- 24:46Speaker 1: it was the military intelligence, specifically the one hundred and
- 24:49Speaker 1: twelfth office who let the Dallas Police Department know exactly
- 24:55Speaker 1: who they had just arrested. By the way, they his
- 25:00Speaker 1: background from New Orleans, and that was where the Dallas
- 25:06Speaker 1: Police got their info from about who they just arrested. Oh,
- 25:10Speaker 1: Lee Harvey Oswald, Well, we got a file here on him.
- 25:14Speaker 1: Shocker Ellsworth further advised that he would submit a report
- 25:18Speaker 1: incorporating the essentials of the above information relative to Nante
- 25:22Speaker 1: through the proper channels, but that such procedure would entail
- 25:25Speaker 1: considerable delay before such a report would reach the San
- 25:28Speaker 1: Antonio Division of the FBI. Special Agent Stanley Wisney, Act
- 25:34Speaker 1: Resident Agent in charge of the one hundred and twelfth
- 25:37Speaker 1: let's call it for what it is, Military Intelligence Division
- 25:40Speaker 1: of at Fort Hood, Texas Advice Special Agent Charles Smith
- 25:44Speaker 1: that he had no info on the indicating reports of
- 25:48Speaker 1: the Treasury Department, the Alcohol Tobacco Tax Unit out of
- 25:50Speaker 1: Dallas concerning John Thomas Mason. So now they're saying that
- 25:55Speaker 1: whether we had a file on Oswald, but we ain't
- 25:57Speaker 1: got one on this guy yet on Thomas Mason. Now
- 26:02Speaker 1: we do, Now we do. So skipping down a little
- 26:08Speaker 1: bit here, it is pointed out the Captain Nante, who
- 26:11Speaker 1: is scheduled for retirement in the summer of sixty four
- 26:14Speaker 1: and his position is commanding officer of d Company one
- 26:18Speaker 1: hundred and twenty third Maintenance, would have been in a
- 26:21Speaker 1: most advantageous position to obtain such arms and ammunition for
- 26:25Speaker 1: disposal through Mason at Dallas, Texas and further that the
- 26:28Speaker 1: forty third Criminal Investigative Detachment CID excuse me at Fort
- 26:33Speaker 1: Hood has a large number of reported deaths of various
- 26:37Speaker 1: military weapons, among which is the NATO and fourteen rifle,
- 26:40Speaker 1: a highly sought after military weapon because of his firepower. Now,
- 26:46Speaker 1: before we get into the leads here, Joe, you gotta think,
- 26:54Speaker 1: all right, this is post World War two. We're not
- 27:01Speaker 1: really at war with anybody, right, right, You got all
- 27:05Speaker 1: these surplus weapons laying around. It's pretty tempting for you know,
- 27:14Speaker 1: a guy who's in a pretty good position to be
- 27:16Speaker 1: able to partake in. Yeah, they're really going to miss
- 27:20Speaker 1: a couple of hundred of these rifles, Joe, Right, maintenance.
- 27:23Speaker 2: I mean, you don't know exactly how they uh you know,
- 27:28Speaker 2: logged these weapons. Really, they were probably all just in boxes.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Yeah, I gotta take this big truck on a test drive.
- 27:35Speaker 1: We just fixed it. We all gotta take this truckle.
- 27:37Speaker 1: We're here for a test drive to Dallas, deliver deliver
- 27:42Speaker 1: some pizza I mean weapons, I mean nothing.
- 27:47Speaker 2: Yeah, and an opportunity possibly, I mean Nante was obviously
- 27:54Speaker 2: communicating with the FBI, but also an opportunity to make
- 27:59Speaker 2: a siphone.
- 28:01Speaker 1: For lack of Yeah, he's getting ready to retire. He
- 28:03Speaker 1: wants to be set up good, you know what I mean,
- 28:07Speaker 1: even though he's actually if they decided to follow through
- 28:10Speaker 1: with busting this guy, he's gonna flush his whole career
- 28:15Speaker 1: down a toilet. Right, no pension, you know, fuck your retirement, buddy,
- 28:20Speaker 1: you're out right.
- 28:22Speaker 2: But the at F wants to bust him.
- 28:25Speaker 1: He's working with the FBI, right.
- 28:29Speaker 2: And they don't. Both of these parties don't really know
- 28:32Speaker 2: this right.
- 28:37Speaker 1: No, uh, these again, and this is an FBI report, Okay,
- 28:44Speaker 1: not an ATET report. Uh So, some leads in Dallas,
- 28:48Speaker 1: Texas will make an inquiry. It's one hundred and twelfth
- 28:52Speaker 1: Rio Grand National Building for copies of indicated reports. So
- 28:55Speaker 1: they expeditiously furnished to Sam Antoniato so that the theft
- 28:58Speaker 1: of government property case may be initiate Nante if warranted. Again,
- 29:04Speaker 1: this is an FBI document who Nanti was allegedly working with.
- 29:09Speaker 1: But they're going to make copies available to the one
- 29:16Speaker 1: hundred and twelve should they decide to prosecute Nante for
- 29:22Speaker 1: selling weapons. The FBI is not going to pursue charges.
- 29:25Speaker 1: They're letting the military figure out whether or not they're
- 29:28Speaker 1: going to pursue charges. Okay, So the FBI is like, hey,
- 29:34Speaker 1: we're just kind of backing into the bush like Homer
- 29:36Speaker 1: Simpson here, you know, right, Okay, two.
- 29:40Speaker 2: Words plausible deniability.
- 29:42Speaker 1: All right, we are getting the hell out of here
- 29:44Speaker 1: right about now. So inso much as contacts with Captain
- 29:53Speaker 1: George Nati at Ford Hood have repeatedly failed to indicate contact,
- 29:57Speaker 1: so he has stopped answering the FBI at this point.
- 30:01Speaker 1: He's like, stop calling, right because the heat is on mhm.
- 30:11Speaker 1: But they still have a little ace up their sleeve
- 30:14Speaker 1: named John Thomas Mason. Okay, who is also up to
- 30:20Speaker 1: his ball sack in hot water for what he's doing
- 30:26Speaker 1: in Dallas, right Who. By the way, if you're trying
- 30:30Speaker 1: to shave a little time, you know, off of your charges,
- 30:34Speaker 1: you might want to consider handing this guy over on
- 30:39Speaker 1: a silver platter to him. Where are you getting all
- 30:42Speaker 1: your weapons from? Son? Well, sir, actually Uncle Sam? What?
- 30:52Speaker 1: And you got to.
- 30:53Speaker 2: Imagine Rob Mason had no idea who Kante was working with.
- 31:01Speaker 1: No, but he knew not he knew Nante was part
- 31:03Speaker 1: of the military right, but not talking with the right.
- 31:10Speaker 2: So a lot of moving parts here.
- 31:14Speaker 1: There is a lot of moving parts here. Now let's
- 31:20Speaker 1: get into another moving part here. Jo can't make this
- 31:24Speaker 1: ship up, folks. And uh, I thought I saw a
- 31:30Speaker 1: comment here we should address uh oh, lumpkin, lumpkin. In
- 31:40Speaker 1: the look, there was a lot of DPD officers and
- 31:43Speaker 1: sheriff's deputies who were former military intelligence or current military intelligence,
- 31:49Speaker 1: former military but still technically part of the military intelligence network,
- 31:57Speaker 1: meaning that they would share information. Right, So Lounkin certainly
- 32:03Speaker 1: fits that bill for sure.
- 32:06Speaker 2: M Yeah, he doesn't have to be working for them
- 32:09Speaker 2: to like, have your buddy and go to have a
- 32:13Speaker 2: couple of peers and sure some information.
- 32:16Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, you have your buddy, call you up,
- 32:17Speaker 1: hey man, what do you know about this? What do
- 32:20Speaker 1: you know about that? Right? Okay, here we go, here
- 32:25Speaker 1: we go. Oop, wrong button, right button? Okay. Going back
- 32:36Speaker 1: in time a little bit. February seventh, my birthday, great
- 32:39Speaker 1: great day, Oh great day, nineteen and sixty four, although
- 32:43Speaker 1: that's not my birth date, allegedly allegedly years and you're there.
- 32:52Speaker 1: So on Valentine's Day in nineteen sixty four, Marina is
- 32:57Speaker 1: getting boffed in Washington. Mister Frank Ellsworth, special agent of
- 33:01Speaker 1: the ATTU, advice they have obtained a seven count indictment
- 33:06Speaker 1: against John Thomas Mason. He is the subject here for
- 33:11Speaker 1: violation of the Federal Firearms Act. Okay, so he's fucked basically.
- 33:19Speaker 1: Mister Ellsworth has advised that the individual named Forarelli or
- 33:23Speaker 1: Parelli rides at forty four hundred Ivy Drive, Mesquite, Texas
- 33:28Speaker 1: and had been a student at the University of Dallas
- 33:30Speaker 1: in Dallas, Texas. No relation, no, no, not Barelli Forarelli
- 33:38Speaker 1: or Perelli. I I know. Now this is where it
- 33:43Speaker 1: gets interesting, Joe. So, John Thomas Mason doesn't want to
- 33:57Speaker 1: roll on Nante, right, so he has this bright idea
- 34:06Speaker 1: to come up with something else to give FB high Okay.
- 34:11Speaker 1: And that is a man that he calls Farelli or Perelli. Okay,
- 34:19Speaker 1: who's actually named Fairman gik Goikachia Goykitchi, goky che goykuch Goykuche. Okay.
- 34:32Speaker 1: If that isn't a goddamn Cuban name, I never heard one.
- 34:37Speaker 1: So on February twelfth, records of the I and S
- 34:39Speaker 1: made available by Jeff Woolseley reflected their file for Fair
- 34:43Speaker 1: Meen Goykacherache reflects his last address blah blah blah blah blah.
- 34:50Speaker 1: He last entered the US in Miami blah blah blah.
- 34:53Speaker 1: Born in forty one in Havana, fingerprinted in New York
- 34:58Speaker 1: on May twenty second, sixty three. He originally entered the
- 35:01Speaker 1: US at New York in nineteen sixty as a student
- 35:04Speaker 1: and attended the RCA Institute on west Ford Street, New
- 35:07Speaker 1: York City, where he took a course in Advanced Electronics
- 35:10Speaker 1: Technology Joe Wow. He dropped out on October fifth, nineteen sixty.
- 35:17Speaker 1: His New York address this time was forty seventh East
- 35:19Speaker 1: forty seventh East eighty seventh Street. He listed his addresses
- 35:23Speaker 1: in Cuba as Avenue thirty three, number twelve eleven, Ault
- 35:28Speaker 1: Mirmir Havannah Kuba. So he gave up Mason, did uh
- 35:39Speaker 1: fair mean goykit goy koitche where this fuck his name is?
- 35:44Speaker 2: I'm so happy you're reading this one.
- 35:48Speaker 1: But he told him he thinks his name is Farelli
- 35:51Speaker 1: or Parelli or Barelli or some skiffoo is the name?
- 35:57Speaker 2: So some Pizon yeah or Cuban I guess.
- 36:04Speaker 1: Yeah, now we're working backwards here some more. Back to
- 36:07Speaker 1: George Dante and the FBI surely know this is uh.
- 36:14Speaker 2: And again Row before you start, we talked the can
- 36:18Speaker 2: you go up a little, very little bit to the
- 36:20Speaker 2: title neutrality matters because they were concerned that these guns
- 36:28Speaker 2: were going to Cuban exiles.
- 36:32Speaker 1: Yes, yes, and they were and they were and right
- 36:38Speaker 1: wing as well, the extreme right. And you notice that
- 36:43Speaker 1: it's going straight to the director. They ain't working around,
- 36:45Speaker 1: it's going straight to Hoover. Okay, So back to Nante,
- 36:54Speaker 1: was contracted contact relative does matter? At which time he
- 36:57Speaker 1: advised that he has no had no contacts with Mason
- 37:01Speaker 1: prior to a telephone call for Mason on twelve eight
- 37:06Speaker 1: sixty three, which is bullshit. Captain Nante related that he
- 37:10Speaker 1: would be in a leaf status for a period of
- 37:11Speaker 1: approximately ten days to two weeks because I'll be at
- 37:17Speaker 1: a convention Joe in Chicago. Hm hmm.
- 37:23Speaker 4: Maybe he was talking to clients, yeah, or oh Ruby, Yeah,
- 37:30Speaker 4: that's that's true, insomuch as subject Mason or Sam Jane
- 37:35Speaker 4: Kahn as president.
- 37:37Speaker 2: He did give an Italian name, right, yeah, Captain Nanti, No,
- 37:45Speaker 2: I mean.
- 37:46Speaker 1: The the what was it for Telly, oh, the Forrelli, Yeah,
- 37:52Speaker 1: Elli Barelli. Yeah. Yeah. So currently Mason is presently facing
- 38:01Speaker 1: prosecutive action in Dallas, and the fact that the subjects
- 38:04Speaker 1: residents in Dallas is being requested that the Bureau designated
- 38:08Speaker 1: the Dallas Division as office of origin in this matter.
- 38:11Speaker 1: It will be noted. Blah blah blah blah blah blah
- 38:13Speaker 1: blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. Right,
- 38:22Speaker 1: that's the FBI. DJ san Antonio, December eleventh, nineteen sixty three.
- 38:28Speaker 1: All right, keep going back to this. This is Nante
- 38:35Speaker 1: again telling the FBI that Mason called him asking about,
- 38:40Speaker 1: you know, obtaining weapons explosives blah blah blah blah blah.
- 38:44Speaker 1: Nante related that Mason indicated that he had sold a
- 38:47Speaker 1: German MP forty four rifle to an att Unit agent
- 38:51Speaker 1: whom he believed to be a friend, which had resulted
- 38:53Speaker 1: in his arrest. Oops oopsy oops. Nante explained that the
- 38:58Speaker 1: German MP forty four is a full automatic machine gun
- 39:01Speaker 1: type assault rifle. Yeah, that's not one of your when
- 39:04Speaker 1: I accidentally sell to an att agent, Joe, Nope, that's
- 39:10Speaker 1: like trying you know, selling an oozy or something, you know, right,
- 39:13Speaker 1: And wasn't.
- 39:14Speaker 2: He skilled at converting semi auto to auto?
- 39:19Speaker 1: Yeah? He was a very skilled gunsmith, as we'll get to,
- 39:22Speaker 1: I promise. Yeah. So let's see. Nanzi further related that
- 39:29Speaker 1: Mason advised he was unable to divulge additional information in
- 39:33Speaker 1: his possession primarily because of the cost in the telephone conversation. Look,
- 39:37Speaker 1: he can't really get into it, Joe. I mean this, this,
- 39:39Speaker 1: this phone call is already cost him a quarter, okay,
- 39:42Speaker 1: and I ain't trying to spend another five cents to
- 39:43Speaker 1: explain nothing to you. Okay, I'll write your letter, okay.
- 39:51Speaker 1: But he also said he knew the telephone in his
- 39:53Speaker 1: office and possibly the one in his home, had been tapped,
- 39:56Speaker 1: and that he would write further details in a letter
- 39:58Speaker 1: to Nante and in your future. So h, maybe he's
- 40:03Speaker 1: not so dumb after all, allegedly. So again to spare
- 40:09Speaker 1: going through this giant, seventy two page file. Okay, as
- 40:15Speaker 1: you can see, folks, it is chock full of shit
- 40:19Speaker 1: about Mason. Okay, here's one. There's a letter from John
- 40:26Speaker 1: Thomas Mason to George. Hey, bud, No, Dear George, I
- 40:31Speaker 1: need prices on a seventy five. Let me tell you, folks,
- 40:35Speaker 1: seventy five millimeter is a big fucking rifle. Okay, huge,
- 40:42Speaker 1: And he needs a recoil less rifle and tripod twenty
- 40:47Speaker 1: millimeter automatic with base assembly for implacement like fixed in
- 40:51Speaker 1: placement like in the back of a truck type shit, right,
- 40:55Speaker 1: fifty cow machine gun with base assembly for fixed inplacement
- 41:00Speaker 1: like on a like on the back of a fucking truck,
- 41:03Speaker 1: right or something. Yeah, this is some stuff for our friends,
- 41:10Speaker 1: our friends, George, you know what we're talking about, right,
- 41:14Speaker 1: our friends friends of OZ. Have you talked to Scott
- 41:19Speaker 1: about the AMMO? I noticed that Sloan's was advertising eight
- 41:24Speaker 1: millimeter again, this time in The American Rifleman. Doctor Reynolds
- 41:30Speaker 1: was tickled pink with the book. Damn it, send me
- 41:34Speaker 1: those shells for his gun, you cocksucker. Have you heard
- 41:38Speaker 1: any more from the naval lugers. Let us get on
- 41:42Speaker 1: our horse and get something done. I will probably see
- 41:45Speaker 1: you in a few weeks, and please get got got
- 41:48Speaker 1: my actions ready, send me info as soon as possible.
- 41:52Speaker 1: Best regards, John. Okay, Yeah, so he's in some hot,
- 42:04Speaker 1: hot hot water. Yeah, okay, And As you'll notice, the
- 42:15Speaker 1: dates keep getting a little further and further back, closer
- 42:19Speaker 1: and closer to the assassination. Here's a November ninth Charles
- 42:26Speaker 1: Nati advised that he'd been in receipt of a telephone
- 42:28Speaker 1: call in the morning of that date from Mason, who
- 42:32Speaker 1: inquired if Nanti had knowledge of a large quantity of
- 42:35Speaker 1: surplus scrap in quotes I'm sure being offered for sale,
- 42:41Speaker 1: which allegedly contained all the components needed to assemble M
- 42:45Speaker 1: two carbines. Captain Nante stated that the M two carbine
- 42:51Speaker 1: parts are prohibitive sale items, meaning we ain't supposed to
- 42:56Speaker 1: sell that shit to anybody. We're supposed to destroy it allegedly,
- 43:03Speaker 1: but for the right price. You never know, right, you
- 43:06Speaker 1: know who would miss it? Joe, who would miss it?
- 43:09Speaker 2: Right?
- 43:13Speaker 1: He can't make this stuff?
- 43:15Speaker 2: Fuck And as you could see via the documents, we are.
- 43:21Speaker 1: Not no there and it's time after time after here
- 43:26Speaker 1: we go again. Mason inquired if not they could produce
- 43:29Speaker 1: any of the following bud, I need some thirty cal
- 43:31Speaker 1: machine guns and fifty cal machine guns and and one
- 43:33Speaker 1: rifle submachine guns, as well as any other heavier stuff
- 43:36Speaker 1: that would be useful explained that he assumed Mason had
- 43:40Speaker 1: reference to rocket launchers, grenades, twenty mili guns and other
- 43:43Speaker 1: weapons of a similar nature when he referred to quote
- 43:46Speaker 1: heavier stuff that would be useful. Yeah, I mean he's
- 43:54Speaker 1: getting into some serious, serious, serious arm Yeah, and arms
- 44:02Speaker 1: and AMMO and rocket launchers and grenades and dynamite and
- 44:10Speaker 1: look who these This is a very horrible copy, but
- 44:15Speaker 1: you can see a lot of these Cuban names you
- 44:18Speaker 1: mentioned here, Rojas Castello, Julio Ruiz Martinez, different national front
- 44:33Speaker 1: of ESCAMBRAI Alpha sixty six is mentioned. Yeah, our friends,
- 44:44Speaker 1: our friends. It just goes on and on on and on.
- 44:55Speaker 1: So again, Joe, this whole thing kind of reminds me
- 44:59Speaker 1: of something we talked about here before, involving David Ferry
- 45:04Speaker 1: and uh shit, what's the dude's name? In New Orleans
- 45:11Speaker 1: there was gun running with Ferry. Oh man, it's right
- 45:17Speaker 1: on the tip of my tongue. Uh. You you got men,
- 45:25Speaker 1: not Wendell Novelle, Gordon Novell. Yeah, we got into all
- 45:33Speaker 1: this stuff with Gordon Novelle. They were you know, they
- 45:36Speaker 1: had went and stole a bunch of shit from Schulemberger ammunition.
- 45:40Speaker 1: You know, stuff like that. But this was going on
- 45:43Speaker 1: all over the country where some jokers at these various
- 45:52Speaker 1: military bases were selling illegal arms, surplus ship stuff they
- 45:59Speaker 1: were told to get rid of. They would sell it
- 46:02Speaker 1: on the side side hustle or rob as.
- 46:06Speaker 2: We're going to get into when I get into my segment,
- 46:09Speaker 2: possibly letting Scafooza's.
- 46:14Speaker 1: Steal stuff, right like, Oh, there might be one hundred
- 46:19Speaker 1: guns in this building over here. What kind of what
- 46:20Speaker 1: you're looking for? But you did hear that from me?
- 46:24Speaker 2: The guards are having dinner or sleeping at this time,
- 46:27Speaker 2: they won't be.
- 46:27Speaker 1: There or something like that. A dollar is my friend. Yeah, Okay,
- 46:33Speaker 1: I'm not gonna get them for you, but I'll tell
- 46:35Speaker 1: you exactly where where you can get them with no fuzz.
- 46:38Speaker 1: I'll even leave the door unlock for you. Correct. Yeah, yeah. Now,
- 46:47Speaker 1: of course this operation with Mason did not happen overnight, folks.
- 46:52Speaker 1: They were watching them, they were keeping tabs on them,
- 46:54Speaker 1: they were running undercover stuff, they were tapping phones, they
- 46:58Speaker 1: were putting a case together. Now, unfortunately, the case ended
- 47:03Speaker 1: in a clusterfuck with the FBI and the att not
- 47:07Speaker 1: knowing one not knowing what the other one was doing.
- 47:09Speaker 1: Kind of thing. And then the FBI was like, ah,
- 47:14Speaker 1: we'll let the military handle it. He's their guy. We're
- 47:16Speaker 1: not gonna get involved. We're gonna step back over here.
- 47:20Speaker 1: And then you have this dogged att agent named Frank
- 47:27Speaker 1: Ellsworth who will not let this shit go. He's following threads,
- 47:32Speaker 1: pulling on threads, looking under rocks, kicking over stones, trying
- 47:37Speaker 1: to figure out exactly what Mason is doing with all
- 47:40Speaker 1: of these weapons, and prosecuting him for things along the way.
- 47:46Speaker 1: And believe me, there's not enough time here this evening
- 47:50Speaker 1: for me to show you all of the arrest reports
- 47:52Speaker 1: and charges that John Thomas Mason had gotten into in
- 47:57Speaker 1: the sixties. In fact, in nineteen sixty nine, Joe, they
- 48:02Speaker 1: pulled his right to legally sell guns, which they probably
- 48:10Speaker 1: should have done a long time ago, for some reason
- 48:14Speaker 1: let it slip until nineteen sixty nine, meaning that he
- 48:18Speaker 1: could not no longer own a gun shop. Okay, I
- 48:23Speaker 1: mean they were charging him with all kinds of crazy shit,
- 48:26Speaker 1: like transporting firearms across state lines when he was basically
- 48:35Speaker 1: like his customer would bring him, you know, like a
- 48:39Speaker 1: Redmiinton shotgun to get fixed, and he would send it
- 48:42Speaker 1: off to back to Remington in Connecticut right to get fixed.
- 48:46Speaker 1: And they were charging in with transporting firearms across state lines. Okay,
- 48:58Speaker 1: I mean I'll even show you. You'll love this this,
- 49:02Speaker 1: so let me back up. So in sixty nine they
- 49:06Speaker 1: they were like, all right, you're done with gunshops, Bud.
- 49:09Speaker 1: So he was like, all right, well I got to
- 49:13Speaker 1: work around for your ass. I don't need to actually
- 49:17Speaker 1: sell him. I'm pretty good at making them and working
- 49:21Speaker 1: on him though, so and repair right right. So of
- 49:27Speaker 1: course he had a lot of friends, a network of friends,
- 49:30Speaker 1: gun shop owners, things like that, and one of his
- 49:33Speaker 1: buddies said, hey, man, you can come set up shop
- 49:36Speaker 1: in my gun shop. You do your own thing. You
- 49:39Speaker 1: don't have to pay me rent. You can just have
- 49:43Speaker 1: your own little repair shop in my you know, at
- 49:45Speaker 1: my place. Whatever I can charge you nothing cool. So
- 49:51Speaker 1: that's how he was able to circumvent certain things for
- 49:56Speaker 1: a while.
- 49:59Speaker 2: Yeah, we get there, Mike. I have an image of
- 50:04Speaker 2: Mason in my power point and it has quite a
- 50:09Speaker 2: resemblance to someone we know.
- 50:13Speaker 1: We'll get there.
- 50:14Speaker 2: You've probably happened too, But.
- 50:16Speaker 1: Just in case you don't, all right, we have here
- 50:20Speaker 1: in nineteen seventy seven case from the fifth Circuit Court
- 50:25Speaker 1: of Appellates, and this is the United States of America
- 50:29Speaker 1: versus John Thomas Mason, Okay. Date is March nineteenth, nineteen
- 50:37Speaker 1: eighty one. Morris Hampton is the counsel for the defendant.
- 50:43Speaker 1: David Bickle is the plaintiff attorney. And there's before a
- 50:49Speaker 1: couple of Circuit court judges here Again, this is an
- 50:51Speaker 1: appellate court. John T. Mason being a person who has
- 50:56Speaker 1: previously been convicted of a crime punishable by imprisonment for
- 50:59Speaker 1: a term seating one year. Yeah and yeah, folks, he
- 51:03Speaker 1: did some time was found guilty of knowingly and unlawfully
- 51:07Speaker 1: receiving a firearm which had been shipped and transported in
- 51:10Speaker 1: interstate commerce. The conviction is challenged correctly on the ground
- 51:16Speaker 1: that the evidence was insufficient to show that Mason had
- 51:18Speaker 1: received the firearm which had been shipped in interstate commerce. Now,
- 51:22Speaker 1: this is what I was telling you about before. In
- 51:25Speaker 1: nineteen seventy six and seventy seven, Mason worked as a
- 51:28Speaker 1: gunsmith in the repair shop which was part of the
- 51:31Speaker 1: gun store previously called The Sportsman in Dallas by oral
- 51:36Speaker 1: not anal agreement with the owner of the gun store,
- 51:38Speaker 1: A J. Reid. Mason was allowed to use the repair
- 51:42Speaker 1: shop as a place of business in exchange for services rendered.
- 51:48Speaker 1: Red is a gun appraiser and gun repairman. Mason paid
- 51:53Speaker 1: no rent and was not an employee of Reed. He
- 51:56Speaker 1: had worked under a similar agreement with the previous owner,
- 51:59Speaker 1: Bob Taylor, who had sold a store in May in
- 52:01Speaker 1: nineteen seventy six. All right, so Mason had been doing
- 52:04Speaker 1: this shit since nineteen sixty nine with the previous owner
- 52:07Speaker 1: Bob Taylor, and continued with the new owner A. J. Reid,
- 52:11Speaker 1: where he's working under no rent terms, doing his own
- 52:15Speaker 1: thing inside of somebody else's gun store. Rob.
- 52:18Speaker 2: You know what this reminds me of? Do you know
- 52:21Speaker 2: the movie Casino with Robert de Niro, of course, and
- 52:27Speaker 2: how he like couldn't run the casino anymore, so that
- 52:33Speaker 2: he became like the food and beverage director or the
- 52:36Speaker 2: entertainment director or had all these other jobs and kept
- 52:39Speaker 2: switching them just so we could stay in the like
- 52:43Speaker 2: in the casino even though he was really running it.
- 52:47Speaker 2: It kind of reminds me of that. And you'll come Luga.
- 52:54Speaker 2: I probably butchered that again.
- 52:56Speaker 1: Look at the Luga, wasn't Billy Love.
- 53:00Speaker 2: Lady convicted of facing stolen military equipment. I know it
- 53:05Speaker 2: was automatic weapon charges. I don't know if it was
- 53:08Speaker 2: stolen or not.
- 53:10Speaker 1: It was it was it was okay, yeah, I think
- 53:14Speaker 1: you're stealing pistols.
- 53:16Speaker 2: He might have gone it for Mason.
- 53:19Speaker 1: No, he was stealing from the army or wherever whatever
- 53:21Speaker 1: he was at. Because they caught up with his ass,
- 53:25Speaker 1: all right, the FBI did, yeah, all right, all right,
- 53:32Speaker 1: So basically we get down through here. Mason was convicted
- 53:37Speaker 1: on September tenth sixty four. Again, there was a longer
- 53:41Speaker 1: list of times this guy was convicted of things for
- 53:43Speaker 1: failure to record the sail and delivery of a firearm
- 53:46Speaker 1: and violation of fifteen USC. Nine oh three. Again, this
- 53:50Speaker 1: is like right when the warrened reports coming out, number
- 53:54Speaker 1: tenth sixty four.
- 53:56Speaker 2: Right, they don't they don't want to more drama at
- 54:00Speaker 2: this point, right, because you have Oswalt possibly with the
- 54:06Speaker 2: AMMO or allegedly or the Ruby connection with this. You know,
- 54:15Speaker 2: you're not trying to rustle more feathers. You know, you
- 54:18Speaker 2: don't pick up any more stones, as you said earlier.
- 54:22Speaker 1: Right, so they're trying again. I told you this is
- 54:25Speaker 1: the appellate court. So again, this is in nineteen eighty one,
- 54:32Speaker 1: and they're talking about this in particular September tenth, sixty
- 54:36Speaker 1: four conviction to record the sale delivery of a firearm
- 54:42Speaker 1: and violation of blah blah blah blah blah. Now this
- 54:45Speaker 1: is what eventually led to him doing some time and
- 54:53Speaker 1: getting his I guess gun license revoked. So he's trying
- 54:59Speaker 1: to get this reverse, all right, So they bring in
- 55:02Speaker 1: a witness and this guy is named colp. The defense
- 55:09Speaker 1: attorney says, and then several months later it came back
- 55:11Speaker 1: and you don't remember who it came back to, or
- 55:13Speaker 1: how you got it, or whether it was your wife
- 55:15Speaker 1: or who handed it to you. Is that right? And
- 55:18Speaker 1: he says, that's correct. My wife and I both picked
- 55:20Speaker 1: up guns there that were repaired. And the circuit, George
- 55:25Speaker 1: Circuit Judge Coleman is a member of the panel deciding
- 55:28Speaker 1: the instant case. He was the author of the opinion
- 55:31Speaker 1: in the United States versus Versiglio. So basically this conviction
- 55:44Speaker 1: was overturned.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Hmmm.
- 55:48Speaker 1: Convenient, Yeah, but it took a while.
- 55:52Speaker 2: Yeah, but it's also very rare to get appeals overturned.
- 55:58Speaker 1: Yeah, but like I said, again, it took a very
- 56:00Speaker 1: very very long time. So interesting, interesting, interesting, And this
- 56:11Speaker 1: all leads up to an even bigger web of kuffoosery,
- 56:19Speaker 1: one that we're going to get into now, and then
- 56:22Speaker 1: another one that I'm going to get into tomorrow morning
- 56:26Speaker 1: on Quick Hits live at ten am Eastern Standard time,
- 56:29Speaker 1: right here on this very YouTube channel with Doug. But tonight,
- 56:36Speaker 1: I'm gonna hand it off to Joe for the rest
- 56:38Speaker 1: of the story. As my old buddy Paul Harvey.
- 56:41Speaker 2: Used to say, Yes, and because I am special in
- 56:47Speaker 2: many different ways, I can tell you do not miss
- 56:51Speaker 2: those Quick Hits. It is going to be a betner.
- 56:58Speaker 1: Yeah. If you think what's coming up next is and
- 57:01Speaker 1: it is good, believe me, there's good stuff here. But
- 57:04Speaker 1: I'm gonna blow your fing socks off tomorrow. Yes you are.
- 57:13Speaker 2: You blew mine the other day after the show here.
- 57:18Speaker 1: Blue You like that?
- 57:20Speaker 2: All right?
- 57:24Speaker 1: Let's keep that between us. Sorry, sorry, Ron, and real quick,
- 57:31Speaker 1: because I know a lot of you kafusas that are
- 57:34Speaker 1: here now will be there in the morning. I do
- 57:38Speaker 1: emails on the other show, so if you'd like your
- 57:41Speaker 1: email to be read, if you have a question or
- 57:43Speaker 1: comment about anything at all AFK related, send it to
- 57:49Speaker 1: quick Hits JFK at gmail dot com, like you know,
- 57:54Speaker 1: before the morning, like.
- 57:56Speaker 5: Suit, Yeah, all right, let me let me share my
- 58:04Speaker 5: screen as they get my usual leg here.
- 58:17Speaker 2: All right, Well, first we're gonna talk about who was
- 58:25Speaker 2: you know, John L. Rod and essentially Yeah, now we're
- 58:34Speaker 2: getting into it. So don't scaffoos in the comments, guys,
- 58:37Speaker 2: because you're gonna.
- 58:37Speaker 1: Have to pay ten. This is where it gets good.
- 58:43Speaker 2: Let me see, all right, John L. Rod John Franklin L.
- 58:55Speaker 2: Rod was a witness arrested on the day of the
- 58:58Speaker 2: JFK assassination and in the jail near Lee Harvey Oswalt,
- 59:03Speaker 2: also known as Rob the Fourth.
- 59:14Speaker 1: Uh Tramp. Yes, but also I wanted to point everybody
- 59:20Speaker 1: out here as well as to where this arrest took place.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Well, we're gonna get there. It's on the next page.
- 59:28Speaker 1: Well, it's right here on this one too. But I
- 59:29Speaker 1: just wanted to point out where this arrest was made
- 59:33Speaker 1: in the thirty four hundred block of Harry Heines Boulevard. Joe,
- 59:40Speaker 1: do you know what else was in the thirty four
- 59:41Speaker 1: hundred block of Harry Heines Boulevard.
- 59:45Speaker 2: The railroad tracks?
- 59:47Speaker 1: No? No, then tell me, oh that would be the
- 59:53Speaker 1: gun shop of John Thomas Mason at thirty Harry Hands Boulevard.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: Bitch, Wait wait, what's what's the difference of the numbers?
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Say that again?
- 1:00:11Speaker 1: Where'd your screen go? What are we doing? I don't know.
- 1:00:16Speaker 2: I didn't do anything.
- 1:00:19Speaker 1: Let me try. I could have John Thomas Mason. Hold on,
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: let me let me look at his scafoo the rest
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: report again.
- 1:00:34Speaker 6: Let me reashare as you do that? Yeah, I'm a
- 1:00:38Speaker 6: little laggy here. What did these power points? Jesus Christ.
- 1:00:53Speaker 2: Killing me smalls?
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: Okay?
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: And by the way, I watched The Sandlot last night
- 1:00:59Speaker 2: with my girlfriend for her first time.
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: Mm I refuse to watch it ever again. Why I
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: found out that the kid I liked in that in
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: that movie? Which one, the red haired freckle kid? Yeah?
- 1:01:16Speaker 2: He he does these dancing TikTok videos.
- 1:01:21Speaker 1: Now, well, not just that he's a full on scientologist.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: Oh really?
- 1:01:30Speaker 1: Oh really?
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: The Catcher Yeah.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: Wow, he's buddies with Danny Masterson and Nashton Kutcher and
- 1:01:40Speaker 1: all them grapers.
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: Crapers, garty boys.
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: Drapers and murderers.
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: Oh man, all right, I'm ree resharing here.
- 1:01:57Speaker 1: Okay, I've got I pulled it back up, all right.
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: So he was arrested in the thirty four hundred block
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: of Harry Heins Boulevard. Okay, John Thomas Mason's gun shop
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: was in the seventy four hundred block of Harry Hans Boulevard,
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: so right down the street, basically a couple of blocks
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: with three blocks, four blocks, probably not far loose, like
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: out of all the fucking places you could be in Dallas,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: you're that close. You get arrested that close to John
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: Thomas Mason's gun shop, right, And.
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: This is like much more interesting to me than the
- 1:02:47Speaker 2: three tramps and you know, sturges or was it Haunt
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: or was it you know, whoever the hell? That's all bullshit, guys. Sorry,
- 1:03:00Speaker 2: this is more interesting to me personally. You can make
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: up your own minds, of course. This is a rest
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: report which has dated on eleven, twenty two sixty three.
- 1:03:16Speaker 2: As you can see here railroad tracks, which is a problem.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: This man was arrested on railroad railroad tracks a few
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: minutes after radio call was dispatched that man was walking
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: along railroad carrying a rifle. This man was not carrying
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: a rifle at time of rest. The suspect is unemployed.
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: States he has been in Dallas for two weeks. Lost
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: his job last week at AL Phoenix. States he has
- 1:03:55Speaker 2: been arrested for theft and Duhi and Rob, I would
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: say that's a problem.
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: Yeah, now, correct me if I'm wrong. Chat, But wasn't
- 1:04:09Speaker 1: there or maybe I'm thinking of a different Mexican restaurant.
- 1:04:16Speaker 1: There was a guy that looked like Oswald's seen in
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: a red like thunderbird correct, behind the L Phoenix. But
- 1:04:24Speaker 1: the car had like one of tip It's buddies they
- 1:04:27Speaker 1: worked at Colin's Radio's license plates on it was that Mathers. Yeah,
- 1:04:34Speaker 1: Carl Mathers.
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: Yeah, but that was like way after the tip and shooting.
- 1:04:39Speaker 1: No, it was like right at the time.
- 1:04:41Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I mean it's not that far. But I
- 1:04:44Speaker 2: thought it was like in the evening. But no, no, okay,
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: all right, So now we're gonna get to these We're
- 1:04:54Speaker 2: gonna get to how I'm gonna kind of weave back
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: to Rob's topic here. Who is Lawrence Miller and Danell Witter?
- 1:05:08Speaker 1: I can tell you who they're not. Were they not
- 1:05:12Speaker 1: white guys? No joking?
- 1:05:15Speaker 2: They definitely se guys.
- 1:05:17Speaker 1: Uh, they definitely don't sound like white guys. Really you
- 1:05:23Speaker 1: know any white guys named Donnelle Witter, Donelle, Darius Witter.
- 1:05:27Speaker 2: I was looking at the last names, but.
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: I don't know original Miller.
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: Okay, that's true. Come on, man, all right, first Lawrence
- 1:05:43Speaker 2: Reginald Miller arrested with Danelle Darius Okay, I take it
- 1:05:50Speaker 2: back at gasdon and Hall, Texas, Dallas, Texas, and how
- 1:05:56Speaker 2: the suspects and theft of military weapons from National Guard
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: armory near Terrell, Texas. And we're gonna get to Tourell.
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: I promise you know another one of them things where
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: you know there's military weapons or National Guard armory that
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: maybe the door got left unlocked at you know, Joe
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: mm hm.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: Mm hmm. You're gonna have do that stuff. Sorry, I digress.
- 1:06:28Speaker 2: Or who would you send to.
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: Do that stuff? Allegedly only the best.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: Yeah, identified by John Almrod cellmate L H O and
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: question marks eleven twenty two sixty three as one of
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: the five men who met at a motel several days
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: prior to the assassination. Jack Ruby was supposedly one of
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: the five. This is from Mary Farrell, of course, as
- 1:06:55Speaker 2: you could see if you're watching, and we of course
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: have heard of the what's the name of that motel?
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: I can't remember, but the one Marita Lorenz said.
- 1:07:09Speaker 1: That was, you know they went to, Oh yeah, I
- 1:07:12Speaker 1: don't know. Yeah.
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: Now we go to Donel Dabius Woodia Arrest report, Dallas
- 1:07:20Speaker 2: Police Department, eleven, eighteen sixty three. There are newspapers articles
- 1:07:25Speaker 2: about it, and of course the La Fontaines wrote forty
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: seven hundred page article on these guys. The record is
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: being withheld fourteen pages agency file. That'd be interesting to
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: request the archives. Date of birth nineteen twenty was with
- 1:07:52Speaker 2: Lawrence Miller as a passenger when arrested and held on
- 1:07:56Speaker 2: suspicion of robbing the National Guard armory near Trurol, Texas.
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Has been attendant at a ve Morales, Texico service station
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: and had waited on Jack Ruby. And this is going
- 1:08:13Speaker 2: to be important, folks. This is another document, you know,
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: it mentions MARIEA. Lorenz. John er el Rod told the
- 1:08:25Speaker 2: FBI that a cellmate and an injured prisoner in the
- 1:08:28Speaker 2: jail caught with guns met with Ruby in a motel
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: room days before the assassination source War Commission files. Then
- 1:08:37Speaker 2: you have John Thomas Mason brokering military weapons between army
- 1:08:42Speaker 2: Ordnance Officer Captain George Nante. Of course, Cuban exiles and
- 1:08:49Speaker 2: right wing groups also brokering info that invasion of Cuba
- 1:08:56Speaker 2: set for the end of November source newly released documents. Yeah,
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: so you could see how like a bunch of different,
- 1:09:10Speaker 2: you know, objectives are kind of colliding here, Miller, where
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: you're arrested November eighteenth, both injured in car chase and.
- 1:09:20Speaker 1: Who was chasing them Joe and who arrested him? I
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: don't know, Frank Ellsworth, Oh, I did not know that.
- 1:09:29Speaker 2: Yeah, I assumed it was TPD found with military weapons
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: from Armory and Terrell, Texas links to Ruby. Miller worked
- 1:09:44Speaker 2: for McCords, Ruby new McCords, Rob Who's McCords?
- 1:09:48Speaker 1: Can you remind me? I don't honestly don't know.
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: I don't either. Winter serviced Ruby's car, so he was
- 1:09:59Speaker 2: literally Ruby's car mechanic. Miller that it might have been
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: the name of the shop. Millard h Atf believed that
- 1:10:11Speaker 2: Miller and Witter, working with Mason Witter met with Cheek.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: That's interesting nickname.
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: On the eighteenth, Well you missed number four. Miller died
- 1:10:24Speaker 1: in the apartment owned in an apartment owned by Bertha Cheek,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: I did, but that was the sister of Earlene Roberts,
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: Oswald's landlady at the rooming house, and Jack Ruby had
- 1:10:45Speaker 1: spoke to birth of Cheek on many occasions about investing
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: in different properties.
- 1:10:51Speaker 2: If you will, Wow, I only skipped it because when
- 1:10:58Speaker 2: I was doing my research, I saw that it was
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: like twenty or thirty years after. But yeah, that is interesting.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Ruby met with Colonel Sam Baker from Terrell Armory on
- 1:11:12Speaker 2: November nineteenth, So Ruby might be concerned because we're gonna
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: get into Terrell in the second. Ruby visits Bondsman, an attorney,
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: on November nineteenth. That same day, after arrest of Miller
- 1:11:24Speaker 2: Winner on November eighteenth, Mason arrested November twentieth for possession
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: of military weapons bonds out. So Rob, I am going
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: to contend with your theory, your statement earlier. He was
- 1:11:43Speaker 2: arrested on the twentieth, and he was re arrested on
- 1:11:47Speaker 2: the twenty second, or.
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: He was arrested on the twentieth and he bonded out
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: and he went to court on December thirteenth. The case
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: report that I showed, Oh that was al Rod Okay, Yeah, yeah,
- 1:12:07Speaker 1: you're thinking of L. Rod was arrested on the twenty second. Okay,
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry, no backstory real quick. Yeah, I think we're
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: missing this is something here. But the backstory real quick
- 1:12:18Speaker 1: with L.
- 1:12:18Speaker 3: Rod.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: He claims to have been Oswald's cellmate for a short
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: period of time. And we're not talking like days or
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: nights or anything. I'm talking about hours. You know, at
- 1:12:30Speaker 1: that time, the Dallas Dallas jail was a little crowded, Okay,
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: you know, you generally had to share a cell with
- 1:12:37Speaker 1: somebody at least for a short period of time. And
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: they were pulling Oswald in and out of the cell
- 1:12:41Speaker 1: all day long to talk to him or fingerprint him
- 1:12:44Speaker 1: or put him in a lineup or whatever. So he's
- 1:12:47Speaker 1: in and out sometimes. But at least one of the
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: times they had stuck him in there with John L. Rod, allegedly,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: at least John that's what John L. Rodd says. It
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: was a cell blood and so four number four he says.
- 1:13:01Speaker 1: And we know Oswald was held and so forward for
- 1:13:03Speaker 1: a period of time, so it's possible. And what he said.
- 1:13:09Speaker 2: Is that.
- 1:13:17Speaker 1: Basically that his cellmate and an injured prisoner in the jail,
- 1:13:26Speaker 1: meaning Oswald, and one of the guys with the fucked
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: up face, which I believe was Miller.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: Miller was in Parkland, actually yes.
- 1:13:35Speaker 1: Yeah, but by the twenty second he was back in jail. Okay,
- 1:13:42Speaker 1: he was back in jail. And Oswald allegedly told l
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: Rod that he had been in a motel room with
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: that guy in Jack Ruby just days before the assassination,
- 1:13:53Speaker 1: allegedly pray continue, all right.
- 1:14:01Speaker 2: Excuse me, Mason arrested. We already saw the military weapons,
- 1:14:06Speaker 2: and we're gonna see a video of this actually in
- 1:14:08Speaker 2: a second. If you want to get that ready, Rob,
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: before I go to my next that's ready, You're on it.
- 1:14:14Speaker 2: Uh And Miller Witter, represented by attorney May related to McClendon,
- 1:14:21Speaker 2: friend of Ruby, John Thomas, Mason looked like Oswald, and
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: we're gonna have that picture HCA photo missing Mason one
- 1:14:32Speaker 2: of two gun dealers with Western Cartridge six point five
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: m still classified. The fourteen page statement by Winder to
- 1:14:43Speaker 2: the HSCA withdrawn by the NSSA. NSSA.
- 1:14:49Speaker 1: Yeah, so now we're deep into the ships.
- 1:14:55Speaker 2: There's a lot of shit going on here, guys. But uh,
- 1:15:01Speaker 2: one point before I read this is in regards to
- 1:15:05Speaker 2: l Rod. You know, we just saw his arrest and
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: as Dallas police, you know day of arrest affidavit if
- 1:15:13Speaker 2: you will, by the railroad tracks, we know that he
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: was in the jail that day. So it's not like
- 1:15:19Speaker 2: it's James Files claiming.
- 1:15:22Speaker 1: I was in the soul of Oswald, right right, And
- 1:15:26Speaker 1: we've seen we've all seen the footage. We've shown it
- 1:15:28Speaker 1: here on the show before. I think hard Copy tracked
- 1:15:31Speaker 1: him down back in the nineties. He was living on
- 1:15:34Speaker 1: an island in the middle of the Mississippi River. Okay,
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: he did not want to talk to anybody. He was
- 1:15:41Speaker 1: very reluctant to talk to them on camera, but figured,
- 1:15:44Speaker 1: all right, the cats out of the bag. Now let
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: me do this because the la Fontaine's book was out
- 1:15:50Speaker 1: and they got him on camera and he explained exactly
- 1:15:54Speaker 1: what we're going to get into here, So go ahead, Jill. Yeah.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: So now we're going to fast forward a little bit
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: to April nineteen sixty four. This is a City of
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: Dallas department. And by the way, there is nothing if
- 1:16:11Speaker 2: you search DPD Texas to portal history on Winter at
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: all or Miller, no no arrest reports.
- 1:16:23Speaker 1: So I found that they were arrested by the att Oh, okay,
- 1:16:27Speaker 1: that's true. Good point. I'll make one. It's crazy.
- 1:16:33Speaker 2: Check of garages and service stations patronized, patronized, patronized by
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: Jack Ruby.
- 1:16:42Speaker 1: Dear Sir.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: Several days ago, I was contacted by mister Vince Drain
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: of the Federal Bureau of Investigation regarding a check of
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: garages and service stations patronized patronized right by Jack Ruby.
- 1:16:58Speaker 2: Patronized is a different meaning, I believe. On April Lieutenant E. L.
- 1:17:06Speaker 2: Cunningham contacted Force such places, which, from papers found in
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: Ruby's car, indicated he might have patronized a copy of
- 1:17:17Speaker 2: Lieutenant Cunningham's reporters and closed.
- 1:17:19Speaker 1: Danell D.
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: Whittier, named in the enclosed report, formerly worked at the
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: Texaco service station Clarendon and Ewing serviced Ruby's car when
- 1:17:31Speaker 2: he came to the station, as you will recall, and
- 1:17:36Speaker 2: they spelled Wittier differently here by the way, which is interesting.
- 1:17:42Speaker 2: Winter was arrested by officers of this department on November eighteenth,
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: nineteen sixty three, at which time two machine guns and
- 1:17:55Speaker 2: two Browning automatic rifles were recovered, which had been taken
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: in a burglary of the National Guard headquarters at Terrell, Texas.
- 1:18:05Speaker 2: Keep that in mind. Terrell, Texas.
- 1:18:07Speaker 1: Again.
- 1:18:08Speaker 2: According to our records, he was convicted in federal court
- 1:18:11Speaker 2: and is now serving time for this offense. Very truly yours, MW. Stevenson,
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: Deputy Chief Commanding Officer, Criminal Intelligence Division of the DVD.
- 1:18:25Speaker 2: So Rob, why don't you, why don't you show what
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: mister Woody Winter these guys are screwing me up. Witter
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: was arrested with here.
- 1:18:37Speaker 1: Because it is a It's not something I think you
- 1:18:41Speaker 1: buy it.
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: A gun store maybe in sixty three.
- 1:18:43Speaker 1: Could, I don't know.
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: It seems very military like.
- 1:18:47Speaker 1: Yeah, so check this out. Shhold on, yeah, a shame
- 1:18:54Speaker 1: screen first, All right, here we go. There is no sound.
- 1:19:01Speaker 1: Check this out. There's plenty of visuals. A very despondent Yeah.
- 1:19:13Speaker 1: Why are you looking at me like that? Mister ain't
- 1:19:17Speaker 1: got no teeth man, Just nerve it?
- 1:19:20Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: Do I look like Lee Harvey Oswald?
- 1:19:25Speaker 2: Do you.
- 1:19:28Speaker 1: Like you said?
- 1:19:29Speaker 2: They all kind of looked awake, right.
- 1:19:36Speaker 1: Look at that. Those are straight military grade weapons, folks.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: Those are machine guns.
- 1:19:42Speaker 1: Those are I don't know those are That is some
- 1:19:48Speaker 1: ship you bolt into the back of the Toyota and
- 1:19:50Speaker 1: and roll through Mexico. With it. You know, look at
- 1:19:53Speaker 1: that priest gun. So yeah, these were legit military weapons,
- 1:20:06Speaker 1: no joke, Nope.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: And one of the things you and I had talked
- 1:20:16Speaker 2: about was when Winner and uh Miller were busted on
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: the eighteenth, as you can see right there, did they turn.
- 1:20:31Speaker 1: And then what happens John Thomas Mason gets busted two
- 1:20:34Speaker 1: days later on And for all those out there with questions,
- 1:20:41Speaker 1: I will tell you this so I know Dallas please
- 1:20:47Speaker 1: like to take credit for this bust. How it works.
- 1:20:52Speaker 1: How it worked was the the office of the ATTU
- 1:20:58Speaker 1: didn't really have an office in Dallas. Frank Ellsworth had
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: a desk at the Dallas Police Department. He had his
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: own like little office there in the Dallas Police Department.
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: So when they say we busted this guy, they mean
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: we collectively busted this guy. But as you can see,
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: he was prosecuted in federal court because it's a federal crime, right,
- 1:21:27Speaker 1: that's why they need the evidence of the DPD. They're
- 1:21:29Speaker 1: showing it off. Ellsworth is not on camera, he's not
- 1:21:33Speaker 1: want to be on camera. They're letting the DPD take
- 1:21:36Speaker 1: credit for the bust, and then allegedly they turn him
- 1:21:40Speaker 1: over to the FED.
- 1:21:41Speaker 2: And That's a good point, because then that's probably why
- 1:21:44Speaker 2: there's not a DPD or rest report of these two guys.
- 1:21:48Speaker 7: On the It's not one, no no, So if you
- 1:21:52Speaker 7: want to put the power point to back ups, yes, sir,
- 1:21:59Speaker 7: of course.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: All right. So a lot of people were trying to
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: figure this out for a long time, including the ARB.
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: This is an internal email and documents document. And I
- 1:22:16Speaker 2: actually contacted friend of the show Andrew Eiler today and said,
- 1:22:21Speaker 2: who is Brian Rosen? Because I mean, who the hell
- 1:22:24Speaker 2: would know with Brian Rosen and who he is except
- 1:22:27Speaker 2: Andrew Eiler. Well, he was an associate lawyer for the ARB.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: Following is a summary of what we know about John
- 1:22:38Speaker 2: Thomas Mason and George Charles Nante Junior and their gun
- 1:22:42Speaker 2: running activities and the sub subsequent investigations of those activities
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: in Dallas around the time of the assassination. I have
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: also included a list of outstanding questions and issues relevant
- 1:22:55Speaker 2: to the potential upcoming interview with Coyle. So this is
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: August ninety six, right right, Like Middle of Arm is.
- 1:23:07Speaker 1: Maybe a little beginning towards the end.
- 1:23:09Speaker 2: Yeah, John Thomas Mason, Dallas gun dealer, likely member, likely
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: member of the Minutemen, right wing paramilitary organization. He was
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: one of two gun dealers in Dallas that sold the
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: type of Manlooker Carcano six point five millimeter ammunition allegedly
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: used in the assassination. George Charles Nante Junior, the chief
- 1:23:33Speaker 2: ordinance officer at Fort Hood in Colleen, Texas, the site
- 1:23:39Speaker 2: of several arm thefts in nineteen sixty three. He was
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: a leading firearms expert and authored many books on guns.
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: Coyle the warrant officer for the Dallas Regional office of
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: the one hundred and twelfth Intelligence Corps Corps Groups. He
- 1:24:06Speaker 2: was head of the group's security section and also worked
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: at maintaining lie agent relationships with other investigative agencies in
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: the area. And look at you have here. James Hosty,
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: the FBI agent in charge of the bureau's file on
- 1:24:25Speaker 2: Lee Harvey Oswald. He was also assigned to work on
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: the bureaus investigation of John Thomas Mason. H. Yeah, that's
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: a problem. Frank Ellsworth, the ATF agent assigned to investigate
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: John Thomas Mason for possible violation of federal firearm laws.
- 1:24:44Speaker 2: John al Rod the quote fourth tramp end quote arrested
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: in Dallas on November twenty second. We went through that
- 1:24:51Speaker 2: he claims to have spoken to Oswald in the Dallas
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: in jail in the afternoon of his arrest. So the
- 1:24:59Speaker 2: r are still trying to figure this out.
- 1:25:01Speaker 1: Yeah, L rod Kin tie Oswald and Ruby to Witter
- 1:25:07Speaker 1: and Miller and gentially to Mason and Ruby, and it's
- 1:25:15Speaker 1: it gets to me a whole big spiderweb here.
- 1:25:17Speaker 2: Correct, We're going down the and we're going down the hole. Guys,
- 1:25:23Speaker 2: Danell Witter arrested by the FBI and dal DPD on
- 1:25:27Speaker 2: November eighteenth. Notice that they give them both credit sixty
- 1:25:31Speaker 2: three for driving a car that was transporting stolen weapons
- 1:25:34Speaker 2: that we just saw. He was also a local mechanic
- 1:25:37Speaker 2: and had previoubly worked on cars for Jack Ruby plural
- 1:25:42Speaker 2: plarer sy Lawrence Miller arrested with Witter. He was still
- 1:25:49Speaker 2: being held in Dallas City jail on November twenty second,
- 1:25:53Speaker 2: sixty three. The story Ellsworth was this is like a summary.
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: Ellsworth was actively investigating Mason for the ATF in the
- 1:26:04Speaker 2: fall of sixty three for violations of federal firearms laws
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: in the course of his undercover contacts with Mason. Elsewheth
- 1:26:13Speaker 2: learned that Nante was Mason's weapons source inside Fort Hood.
- 1:26:19Speaker 2: Elseworth shared this information with Army and FBI criminal investigators
- 1:26:23Speaker 2: at Fort Hood and continued to prepare a case against Mason. However,
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: the FBI was interested in using the Mason Nanti relationship
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: for a different purpose.
- 1:26:38Speaker 1: That's what we were.
- 1:26:39Speaker 2: Talking about before. The Bureau viewed Mason as a valuable
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: source on anti communist exile operations in Cuba. So you
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: have the ATF trying to stop the flow of arms,
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: right as is their you know job, and you have
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: the FBI doing like they're the little counter intelligence purpose operations.
- 1:27:11Speaker 2: All right, So you can see where this gets extremely complicated.
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: Mason is considered to be the plug, if you will,
- 1:27:21Speaker 1: for the anti Castro Cuban exile right wing groups in Dallas.
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: He's the guy they can get you the weapons, and
- 1:27:30Speaker 1: they all knew it. The FBI would of course love
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: to co opt that dude, right Yeah, well, yeah.
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: Of course. And that's where you get back to the
- 1:27:45Speaker 2: the Cuba heading and the neutrality APT headings in these memos.
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: Oh yeah, it's starting to make sense. No oh yeah,
- 1:27:56Speaker 2: all right, we're figuring this out because, believe me, guys,
- 1:27:59Speaker 2: I have not either. This is another memo memo of
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: the ARB two months later, right, we're talking August, September, October,
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: maybe close to three months later. Thank you for your letter.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: Per your request, I haven't close a copy of FBI
- 1:28:17Speaker 2: document number dated I put in this riff number, by
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: the way, and it did not come up on Mary
- 1:28:22Speaker 2: Ferrow dated December one, sixty six. We do not have
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: arrest records of Danelle Witter and Lawrence Miller. Thank you
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: for your continue interest in the work of the board. Sincerely,
- 1:28:39Speaker 2: Eleen Sullivan. So ninety six, this is still being like
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: kept under swept under the rug. Yeah, which is a problem,
- 1:28:52Speaker 2: wrong to me.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: Yeah. Roy Safer was an early early JFK researcher, kind
- 1:29:00Speaker 1: of went off the rails along the same path as
- 1:29:04Speaker 1: Jim Fitzer at some point. Oh really, I didn't in
- 1:29:09Speaker 1: the doorway and the limit stop and all this other nonsense.
- 1:29:12Speaker 1: But at one time he was a respected researcher. Okay, So.
- 1:29:20Speaker 2: Now we're gonna go to a little section of someone
- 1:29:23Speaker 2: would have talked by our good friend Larry Hancock sometime
- 1:29:30Speaker 2: the Terrell theft, sometime during the evening of November thirteenth,
- 1:29:34Speaker 2: so we're talking. Yeah, we're talking five days before these
- 1:29:40Speaker 2: guys were arrested after a car chase sixty three the
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: ordinance maintenance shop of the National Guard Armory.
- 1:29:49Speaker 1: And I wonder who was well Nante was in charge
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: of the ordinance maintenance shop.
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: Yes exactly, was robbed the following nine weapons for thirty
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: caliber rifles. I believe this is probably your document to
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: thirty calib automatic rifles, to thirty caliber light machine guns,
- 1:30:10Speaker 2: one forty five caliber submachine gun. A summer area of
- 1:30:15Speaker 2: the robbery. Investigation concluded that the robbery was essentially a
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: crude break in to a building with poor construction and
- 1:30:25Speaker 2: no alarm system. Quote. The thieves had gate entrance to
- 1:30:31Speaker 2: the building through the front door. Just goes back to
- 1:30:35Speaker 2: what we talked Toro.
- 1:30:37Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, we'll leave the front door or not for you.
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: After having first tried a window, placed a steel bar
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: under the door and moved it up and down until
- 1:30:46Speaker 2: they were able to remove the hinge pins.
- 1:30:49Speaker 1: Well, I guess they tried a little bit, but yeah.
- 1:30:53Speaker 2: The thieves then entered the office through an open screen door.
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: There you go, and with an axe another tool stropped
- 1:31:00Speaker 2: in the shop. They broke a night latch type lock
- 1:31:04Speaker 2: which secured a metal covering door in the strong room.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: And that is UH sourced with documents.
- 1:31:14Speaker 1: Shoe go back real quick, m So again Nante was
- 1:31:23Speaker 1: the ordnance maintenance shop manager at Fort Hood, right, and
- 1:31:32Speaker 1: this was at the Ordnance maintenance shop of the National
- 1:31:35Speaker 1: Guard Armory at Terrell, Texas. There are two different places,
- 1:31:39Speaker 1: but the common thread here is the ordnance maintenance shop.
- 1:31:44Speaker 1: If you think the ordinance maintenance manager at Fort Hood
- 1:31:48Speaker 1: wouldn't there the ordinance maintenance manager at the National Guard
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: Armory in Terrell, Texas and cut him in on some
- 1:31:55Speaker 1: kind of a deal as well. Look, this is the
- 1:31:59Speaker 1: big network of the fucking people, man, because the ordinance
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: meet these people were in charge of all the surplus
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: weapons and they were in charge of getting rid of
- 1:32:10Speaker 1: or destroying obsolete weapons. So these are the guys who
- 1:32:16Speaker 1: found themselves in very precarious positions. And you know, some
- 1:32:22Speaker 1: of them were dirty and some of them probably weren't.
- 1:32:24Speaker 1: But I'm sure for a little a lot of side money,
- 1:32:29Speaker 1: you know, especially when you're talking about thirty grand, a
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: thirty grand payday for George Nati, uh probably wasn't nothing
- 1:32:36Speaker 1: to sneeze that back then.
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: Right, and you and you really don't know how much
- 1:32:42Speaker 2: influence Norte could have had over this National Guard armory, right,
- 1:32:47Speaker 2: if you think they're shipping weapons back and forth or whatever.
- 1:32:50Speaker 1: Right, Well, I'm sure you called the guy and was like,
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: you know, hey, this is what I need to be
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: in your shop. We're gonna break in, We're gonna make
- 1:33:00Speaker 1: it look like a robbery. I'll cut you in for
- 1:33:04Speaker 1: five grand, Right.
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: And who knows what beliefs that guy had, right, We
- 1:33:11Speaker 2: just don't know right now. The Military Police investigation report
- 1:33:20Speaker 2: of the incident makes it clear that the facility robbed
- 1:33:23Speaker 2: was that of the Texas National Guard Headquarters Company, and
- 1:33:26Speaker 2: describes the rest of the thieves Whittier. Again, this spelling
- 1:33:33Speaker 2: is throwing me off. Winter and Miller. In Dallas, two
- 1:33:36Speaker 2: of the Terrell automatic rifles and two machine guns were recovered,
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: So they're saying they recovered the exact guns that were
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: stolen from this National Guards headquarters.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: You just saw a video of them, correct, Right.
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: The other four rifles were not. As of November twenty seven,
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: Woodier Winter was in Parkland Hospital for injuries that stayed
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: in a car accident during the arrest in Dallas. Miller,
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: who had suffered extensive, extensive facial facial lacerations, was in
- 1:34:16Speaker 2: a Dallas County County jail. So they're talking about November
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: twenty second, seventh, not the second. These guns were in Dallas,
- 1:34:25Speaker 2: because although Mason had arranged for them to be delivered
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: to undercover agent Ellsworth, the lack of interagency coordination had
- 1:34:34Speaker 2: blown the adf sting. So the intermediary who was to
- 1:34:38Speaker 2: transfer the guns to Ellsworth was never apprehended, and one
- 1:34:43Speaker 2: of those two cars involved in the transfer got away,
- 1:34:48Speaker 2: while the Thunderbird with Winn and Miller inside did not.
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: John Mason was off the hook until, in frustration, Ellsworth
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: had arrested for possession of dynamite on November twentieth. Mason
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: was out on bail the next day, but would we
- 1:35:08Speaker 2: be back in on the twenty second, So there's a
- 1:35:16Speaker 2: lot of moving.
- 1:35:17Speaker 1: Parts in jail on the twenty second.
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: Later investigations would turn up the fact that Witter happened
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: to be the serviceman who personally attended to Ruby's car.
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: In fact, it seems at least possible that Ruby himself
- 1:35:38Speaker 2: may have played a minor role in the Terrell weapons
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: theft and is even pop right when he consider his
- 1:35:45Speaker 2: connection with Winter. It is possible that one of Ruby's
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: friends within the DPD. Now we're going back to the
- 1:35:52Speaker 2: one twelve arranged for the tip that helped blow the
- 1:35:56Speaker 2: ATF sting and I cut off the rest cause I
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: don't think it was that relevant, But that is when
- 1:36:13Speaker 2: you think about it. If someone in the one twelfth,
- 1:36:16Speaker 2: we know what Ruby's relationships were with the DPD, tipped
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: him off and he had some minor role in this.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: And again this is Larry Hancock talking. I'm just reading them,
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: and you know, people's research who are much morter than
- 1:36:34Speaker 2: I am tipped him off to this National Guard thing.
- 1:36:40Speaker 2: If not Conte, or if not all of them combined,
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: it makes sense.
- 1:36:46Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: John Thomas Mason, one of the more interesting gun dealers
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: in Dallas, was rumored to be connected to the Minute
- 1:36:54Speaker 2: Man as a weapon source for right wing buyers of
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: many sorts. He was suspected of reworking semi automatic weapons
- 1:37:02Speaker 2: to full automatic firing and all trafficking and controlled expensive explosives.
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: Because of these reports, ATF agent Ellsworth began an investigation
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: of Mason. We know all this. I tracked this fellow
- 1:37:17Speaker 2: undercover through another man for several months before I actually
- 1:37:21Speaker 2: met him. I think this began somewhere in the summer
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: of nineteen sixty three. I think I believe it was
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: August when I finally made contact with him. I led
- 1:37:29Speaker 2: him to believe I was a crook. He claimed to
- 1:37:32Speaker 2: have done some arms smuggling in and out of Mexico,
- 1:37:35Speaker 2: but not when I was dealing with him. Ellsworth was
- 1:37:38Speaker 2: not aware that Mason was already the object of another
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: undercover inquiry, one in which military intelligence in the FBI
- 1:37:45Speaker 2: were pursuing an offer from Mason to disclose information about
- 1:37:50Speaker 2: an upcoming Cuban exile attack on Cuba. Here we go
- 1:37:55Speaker 2: back to the Neutrality Act drama that was going on.
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: That investigation had begun on October twenty fourth, sixty three,
- 1:38:05Speaker 2: when George Nante, an Army ordon's officer at Fort Hood, Texas,
- 1:38:10Speaker 2: had reported an offer from Mason to sell such information.
- 1:38:14Speaker 2: Nante was very well known as an arms enthusiast and
- 1:38:18Speaker 2: expert just like Mason, and had been engaged in starting
- 1:38:27Speaker 2: up a business with Mason. Nante had previously exchanged ammunition
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: with Mason when turn had rebarreled weapons for him. A
- 1:38:39Speaker 2: lot of scaffoosery going on here.
- 1:38:42Speaker 1: Yeah. Now you mentioned a second invasion of Cuba at
- 1:38:46Speaker 1: the schedule for the end of November. Yes, and I
- 1:38:52Speaker 1: believe that this was somewhat floated out there, but by
- 1:38:59Speaker 1: the CIA jam Wave and all these other anti cast
- 1:39:02Speaker 1: Cuban exile groups. You know, it's being kind of a
- 1:39:05Speaker 1: second Bay of Pigs invasion type of thing, but better
- 1:39:10Speaker 1: this time, right right right, you know, better plan, better armed, better,
- 1:39:16Speaker 1: you know, more people, and a lot of these a
- 1:39:20Speaker 1: lot of these groups were trying to get ready and
- 1:39:22Speaker 1: get geared up for this ship right.
- 1:39:25Speaker 6: Now.
- 1:39:27Speaker 1: I think the kibosh got put on this by the CI.
- 1:39:31Speaker 1: They were like, now we need to call it off,
- 1:39:32Speaker 1: and need to call it off. It's not happening. It's
- 1:39:35Speaker 1: not happening. And they put the word out through all
- 1:39:37Speaker 1: these groups, and that again pissed off a lot of
- 1:39:42Speaker 1: these anti Castro Cuban exile groups who really wanted to
- 1:39:46Speaker 1: get out there and do something about Castro mm hm.
- 1:39:49Speaker 1: And again the frustration is bubbling, and now it's bubbling
- 1:39:54Speaker 1: in Dallas.
- 1:39:56Speaker 2: Yes, yes, yeah, yeah, and especially when you consider Salvat.
- 1:40:05Speaker 1: Uh, we'll get there.
- 1:40:07Speaker 2: Okay, Sorry, I'm jumping the gun with his retirement coming
- 1:40:12Speaker 2: up put in a little over a year, Nante was
- 1:40:16Speaker 2: talking with Mason, Leroy Barker, a Dallas chemist, and James Melton,
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: another Dallas gun shop owner, about chemical compounds to be
- 1:40:28Speaker 2: developed for commercial sale by a company then in development
- 1:40:32Speaker 2: by Nante, Mason and Barker called Blackhawk Chemicals, And that.
- 1:40:37Speaker 1: Was a explosive chemicals. They're going to make their own
- 1:40:43Speaker 1: dynamite during the other explosives. Yeah.
- 1:40:49Speaker 2: During the October twenty fourth call to Nante, Mason flowd
- 1:40:54Speaker 2: the question of whether or not there would be a
- 1:40:56Speaker 2: buyer for information on an upcoming attack on Cuba. Nante
- 1:41:00Speaker 2: appears to have immediately notified the one hundred and twelfth
- 1:41:04Speaker 2: Army Military Intelligence of this, and the one hundred and
- 1:41:07Speaker 2: twelve reported that to the FBI sourced. From that point on,
- 1:41:13Speaker 2: Nante was requested to stay in touch with and cultivate
- 1:41:17Speaker 2: Mason in order to get additional details of that operation
- 1:41:21Speaker 2: and names of the source of the information. Nante did
- 1:41:25Speaker 2: so over a period of several weeks, eventually meeting with
- 1:41:29Speaker 2: Cuban exiles who were attempting to put together our weapons
- 1:41:33Speaker 2: purchase with Mason. But I think, like you said, Rob,
- 1:41:38Speaker 2: he Eventually Mason kind of went dark, if you will.
- 1:41:44Speaker 1: But I don't know for how long. Well, the heat
- 1:41:48Speaker 1: was on in November for Mason, but he had been
- 1:41:53Speaker 1: given a grocery list, if you will, some of which
- 1:41:56Speaker 1: I read earlier given to him by Sir and anti
- 1:42:01Speaker 1: Castro Cuban exile groups. With this point shall remain nameless
- 1:42:07Speaker 1: till tomorrow. But when you hear the groups or the
- 1:42:16Speaker 1: group that gave him the shopping list, who were very
- 1:42:20Speaker 1: interested in putting something together for this upcoming attack on Cuba,
- 1:42:25Speaker 1: you want to understand and everything will make sense, dots
- 1:42:30Speaker 1: will be connected. You'd be like, holy shit, what the hell? Yeah,
- 1:42:37Speaker 1: it gets crazier and crazier and crazier it does.
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: I'm not going to give anything away because robe will
- 1:42:43Speaker 2: cut my head off, but it blew my mind the
- 1:42:46Speaker 2: other day the other night. Craziness. And if you've been
- 1:42:52Speaker 2: paying attention and you be able to guess this, and
- 1:42:56Speaker 2: if you're paying attention.
- 1:42:57Speaker 1: Now, you might be able to get this real quick,
- 1:42:59Speaker 1: real quick. Mister mixture one says, what is the quick
- 1:43:05Speaker 1: Hits email address? It is quick Hits JFK at gmail
- 1:43:10Speaker 1: dot com. It is also in the description of this
- 1:43:13Speaker 1: video if you open it up. I try to make
- 1:43:17Speaker 1: it easy for you, folks.
- 1:43:18Speaker 2: Yeah, we could only do so much for you, guys.
- 1:43:24Speaker 2: We can only give you the past. You got to
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: make the dunk the slam dunk, right, Ali you. Mason's
- 1:43:33Speaker 2: initial exile contact was joke. Okay on November seventh. I
- 1:43:45Speaker 2: want to make sure.
- 1:43:45Speaker 1: I'm not going on well, I already read about this.
- 1:43:49Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, okay. These newly released report show that Nante
- 1:43:55Speaker 2: and Fort Hood proved to be no use of me
- 1:43:58Speaker 2: and no use to Mason. This quest for arms.
- 1:44:04Speaker 1: Not I agree with that.
- 1:44:07Speaker 2: We also know Mason did come up with a set
- 1:44:09Speaker 2: of weapons to sell Elsworth and the ATF. He managed
- 1:44:11Speaker 2: to find someone who could steal them from a small
- 1:44:14Speaker 2: National Guard repair facility, but his sources ran into a
- 1:44:20Speaker 2: little delivery issue. So we know who Larry is alluding
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: to here, right, the two scaffooses we fools we've been
- 1:44:28Speaker 2: talking about. Yeah, yeah, so they're saying they He's saying
- 1:44:33Speaker 2: they didn't get them from Nante. They got them from
- 1:44:38Speaker 2: the National Guard.
- 1:44:38Speaker 1: For something. To help you folks read between the lines.
- 1:44:40Speaker 1: The other person in the other car there was they
- 1:44:45Speaker 1: got away was John Thomas Mason. It was going to
- 1:44:50Speaker 1: be broker in the deal between these two skuffooses and
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: Ellsworth undercover. And that's why Ellsworths was pissed and and
- 1:45:01Speaker 1: busted his ass for a dynamite. Yeah.
- 1:45:05Speaker 2: I mean, listen, he was arrested a couple a couple
- 1:45:08Speaker 2: of days later, right, so although he did get away temporarily. Yes, yeah,
- 1:45:17Speaker 2: I want to do one more thing. Rob on the left,
- 1:45:22Speaker 2: John Thomas Mason, nineteen fifty eight, This is eighteen years old.
- 1:45:27Speaker 1: I guess this his high.
- 1:45:29Speaker 2: School yearbook photo on the right, of course, Or to
- 1:45:33Speaker 2: your friend Lee Harvey Oswald, Bro, what are your thoughts?
- 1:45:44Speaker 1: Well, they're both goofy looking as hell, but I don't
- 1:45:50Speaker 1: think they look that much alike.
- 1:45:55Speaker 2: I I kind of disagree with you there out. So
- 1:46:01Speaker 2: there's some conjecture as if did al Rod mistake Mason
- 1:46:11Speaker 2: on the twenty second in jail for Oswald.
- 1:46:14Speaker 1: Well, that's possible, but I mean I read that buddy,
- 1:46:21Speaker 1: you know. I mean, if you put these guys side
- 1:46:23Speaker 1: by side like the picture, you can clearly see they
- 1:46:26Speaker 1: don't look anything alike. But if you're remembering, you know,
- 1:46:31Speaker 1: a guy with a receding hairline, you know, I mean
- 1:46:36Speaker 1: I was wanted blue gray eyes. This guy's got brown eyes.
- 1:46:39Speaker 1: The ears are way different, right, But al Rance.
- 1:46:45Speaker 2: L Rod is also like an alcoholic skaza.
- 1:46:49Speaker 1: Right, Yeah, so I mean who knows, right, But it's
- 1:46:53Speaker 1: also not out the room of possibility that Oswald was
- 1:46:56Speaker 1: was the roommate, correct, the selmate, but it could have
- 1:46:59Speaker 1: been in Mason, correct.
- 1:47:02Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's no way to know.
- 1:47:06Speaker 1: Yeah, you just don't know. L Rod could have thought
- 1:47:09Speaker 1: Mason was Oswald. Yeah, I think that's like just correct this.
- 1:47:16Speaker 1: I don't know who labeled this thing, but that's actually
- 1:47:20Speaker 1: from Mexico City. On the right, the Oswald picture for
- 1:47:25Speaker 1: the gout for his Cuban visa application. Oh right, that's
- 1:47:28Speaker 1: not age nineteen Oswald from Moscow? All right, okay, yeah, okay, yeah,
- 1:47:33Speaker 1: he's twenty four or however old he was in nineteen
- 1:47:38Speaker 1: sixty three.
- 1:47:39Speaker 2: That's that's a good point. I got that somewhere from online.
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: I should have double checked that. But you could take
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: that off. But I'm saying there's a resemblance, and you
- 1:47:49Speaker 2: could see why some drunk skafuza in jail could and listen,
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: I mean al Rod didn't go to.
- 1:47:59Speaker 1: I have this here.
- 1:48:00Speaker 2: My other thing he didn't go to he walked. On
- 1:48:07Speaker 2: August eleventh, nineteen sixty four, a very troubled al Rod
- 1:48:11Speaker 2: walked into a Shelby County jail in Tennessee and told
- 1:48:16Speaker 2: officers a story that had been on his mind since
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: November twenty second. Yes, so we're talking a year later, yes, almost.
- 1:48:29Speaker 1: Now he's a Skafuza. He walks into the police or
- 1:48:32Speaker 1: the FBI place, right, Yeah, drunk probably and with weapons
- 1:48:43Speaker 1: and proceeds to tell them the story. Yeah, so they
- 1:48:48Speaker 1: arrest him. Jesus Kafuza. You don't walk drunk into an
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: FBI office with saw off shotgun in your bag. Probably
- 1:49:00Speaker 1: not the best of ideas, but we've all done dumb
- 1:49:04Speaker 1: shit in the past, right.
- 1:49:07Speaker 2: That's true?
- 1:49:09Speaker 1: Sorry, sir, all this was deep sixth man. I mean
- 1:49:12Speaker 1: none of this came out until the nineties.
- 1:49:15Speaker 2: Right, I mean the artist trying to figure it out
- 1:49:18Speaker 2: as I showed you, and yeah, man, And whether it
- 1:49:25Speaker 2: was because of the possible Oswald Ruby connection or whether
- 1:49:32Speaker 2: it was just because they're trying.
- 1:49:34Speaker 1: To Again, the fantastic story is in this book that
- 1:49:39Speaker 1: I reviewed last week called Oswald talked the new evidence
- 1:49:43Speaker 1: in the JFK assassination by Ray and Mary la Fontaine.
- 1:49:48Speaker 1: The whole l Rod story is in here. The Winter
- 1:49:50Speaker 1: Miller incident is in here. There's a great thing with
- 1:49:54Speaker 1: Father McCann and Sylvia Oudio in here. I mean, this
- 1:49:58Speaker 1: book is chock full of good shit that is been
- 1:50:00Speaker 1: overlooked for a lot of years that probably needs to
- 1:50:02Speaker 1: be relooked at.
- 1:50:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, I agree.
- 1:50:09Speaker 1: Real quick, Joe, let me show everybody this. I mean,
- 1:50:13Speaker 1: they did not stop with this dude, This poor bastard,
- 1:50:19Speaker 1: John Thomas Mason, This poor guy cannot catch a break.
- 1:50:26Speaker 1: Bro Let me see if this is a break. Okay. Yeah,
- 1:50:32Speaker 1: So now we're in December of sixty four, December fifteenth,
- 1:50:38Speaker 1: all right, alleged clan participation in insurrection plot, racial matters. Okay,
- 1:50:52Speaker 1: So these informants, whoever these people are, Dallas sixteen s,
- 1:50:56Speaker 1: Dallas twenty s and Dallas two fifteen are were contacted
- 1:50:59Speaker 1: by Special Agent Wheal, and that it was contacted by
- 1:51:05Speaker 1: a special Agent Wood. These sources, who were previously alerted
- 1:51:09Speaker 1: to immediately advise if any information came to their attention
- 1:51:12Speaker 1: to substantiate the rumors concerning the clan groups in Alabama
- 1:51:16Speaker 1: and Mississippi acting under the direction of Major General Edwin A.
- 1:51:20Speaker 1: Walker in bringing about an insurrection, advised they had no
- 1:51:26Speaker 1: information indicating that John Thomas Mason, the unnamed Organization of Dallas,
- 1:51:32Speaker 1: Texas Patriots, or the National Indignation Convention might be involved
- 1:51:37Speaker 1: in this alleged insurrection plot. So now the FBI is
- 1:51:41Speaker 1: sniffing around Walker. He'd already been in trouble for an
- 1:51:48Speaker 1: insurrection in the past in Mississippi. Now they're worried he's
- 1:51:53Speaker 1: gonna do something else, and that John Thomas Mason is
- 1:51:56Speaker 1: involved as well. They're trying to you know, now they're
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: putting Mason with Walker and attaching him to the Minimen,
- 1:52:05Speaker 1: the Klan right.
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: Well, he was alleged to be a man or part
- 1:52:11Speaker 2: of the minimum.
- 1:52:11Speaker 1: Right advice he never received any information to indicate that
- 1:52:16Speaker 1: Mason or the above groups were ever affiliated with any
- 1:52:19Speaker 1: clan groups or that they were racial in origin or purpose.
- 1:52:23Speaker 1: A review of the Dallas files on Mason and the
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: two organization mentions in reference reveals the following That organization
- 1:52:33Speaker 1: was formed by Frank McGehee in Dallas in October sixty
- 1:52:37Speaker 1: one to protest to bring to the United States pilots,
- 1:52:40Speaker 1: mechanics and other personnel from Yugoslavia for training. You keep
- 1:52:44Speaker 1: him goddamn slaves out of our country. We don't want them.
- 1:52:51Speaker 1: Any available information indicated that the John Birch Society in
- 1:52:54Speaker 1: Dallas was the prime mover behind the National Indignation Convention,
- 1:52:58Speaker 1: and then most leading members of the latter organization were
- 1:53:01Speaker 1: also members of the John Birch Society. The National Indignation
- 1:53:05Speaker 1: Convention also indicated in sixty two that they would attempt
- 1:53:07Speaker 1: to defeat all members of the US Congress who voted
- 1:53:10Speaker 1: in favor before and aid to Yugoslavia or then polocks
- 1:53:15Speaker 1: over there in Poland. So yeah, there's that. They were
- 1:53:24Speaker 1: up Mason's ass throughout the sixties, and they finally succeeded
- 1:53:30Speaker 1: in getting him behind bars for a period of time
- 1:53:33Speaker 1: in the sixties. Yes, they ruin his professional life his
- 1:53:39Speaker 1: but he found a loophole around it, and he managed
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: to live until last November of twenty twenty five. Folks,
- 1:53:50Speaker 1: he finally passed away. The ripe old age of a
- 1:53:54Speaker 1: ripe old age. Whatever, twenty twenty five minus nineteen forty
- 1:53:58Speaker 1: one is eighty six sounds about right.
- 1:54:14Speaker 2: Eight ninety one twenty five minus one hundred seventy five.
- 1:54:21Speaker 1: We are not math professors.
- 1:54:22Speaker 2: But yeah, I used to be better at doing this
- 1:54:27Speaker 2: in my head.
- 1:54:28Speaker 1: But four, so we'll go with that.
- 1:54:31Speaker 2: Okay, there we go.
- 1:54:32Speaker 1: He is a library man. He would know better than us. Yes,
- 1:54:34Speaker 1: eighty four, all right, I was closed. Eighty six I was.
- 1:54:42Speaker 2: So man.
- 1:54:43Speaker 1: But folks, there is so much, so much, so much more. Again,
- 1:54:47Speaker 1: I showed you one file that is seventy two page
- 1:54:51Speaker 1: long on John Thomas Mason. Joe, I have five more
- 1:54:55Speaker 1: files that are anywhere from seventy to ninety pages long
- 1:55:00Speaker 1: on John Thomas Mason that we didn't even get into tonight,
- 1:55:03Speaker 1: that we're going to save until next week for members only,
- 1:55:07Speaker 1: and we probably are not going to get into all
- 1:55:09Speaker 1: of them. They are either. But trust me when I
- 1:55:14Speaker 1: tell you there is a lot more on this dude.
- 1:55:17Speaker 1: And I believe that he's slipped through the cracks and
- 1:55:23Speaker 1: not really been looked at. I mean, he's been looked
- 1:55:25Speaker 1: at by Son. But you really have to go in
- 1:55:28Speaker 1: and start pulling threads and connecting dots with this dude,
- 1:55:32Speaker 1: you know, Yeah, you can get you can state the obvious.
- 1:55:35Speaker 1: You know, he's a gun runner. He might be as
- 1:55:38Speaker 1: ties to Ruby, who has ties and these others. Two
- 1:55:40Speaker 1: scaffoos as he got busted. You know who did el
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: Rod see was a mason or Oswald in jail? Who knows?
- 1:55:49Speaker 1: All I know is that cash is king Joe and
- 1:55:57Speaker 1: the people will do just about anything for a ship
- 1:56:00Speaker 1: pile of money, whether it be steal guns from the
- 1:56:04Speaker 1: country you serve to sell on the black market, or
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: to buy guns off the black market, to sell to
- 1:56:12Speaker 1: anti Castro Cubans, to go kill a communist dictator in
- 1:56:17Speaker 1: another country.
- 1:56:19Speaker 2: Or to lie or to sell out your friends.
- 1:56:24Speaker 1: Yeah, money, money, money, follow the money. They always say,
- 1:56:29Speaker 1: follow the money. But you can see how things were
- 1:56:32Speaker 1: getting a little twisted and intricate and intertwined. You know,
- 1:56:37Speaker 1: you've got the FBI over here doing one thing, you've
- 1:56:39Speaker 1: got the ATF over here doing another, and they're mixed
- 1:56:43Speaker 1: in with the DPD and everything gets all twisted. Yeah,
- 1:56:48Speaker 1: because you know now you know Ellsworth is undercover. He
- 1:56:53Speaker 1: doesn't want to be outed as the guy who's busting
- 1:56:55Speaker 1: these folks. You know who wants to stay anonymous. So
- 1:56:59Speaker 1: listen to take credit for this bus. But behind the scenes,
- 1:57:02Speaker 1: they're really like, okay, one hundred and twelve, you guys
- 1:57:05Speaker 1: handle nante elsers like all right, I'm gonna fuck this
- 1:57:09Speaker 1: guy Mason up for the rest of his life. I'm
- 1:57:11Speaker 1: gonna chase his ass. And I mean they were busting
- 1:57:15Speaker 1: this guy left and right for the dumbest little shit
- 1:57:18Speaker 1: ever and trying to entangle him into all kinds of
- 1:57:21Speaker 1: other crazy stuff like I just saw about, you know,
- 1:57:25Speaker 1: possible insurrections with General Walker. It don't get any crazier
- 1:57:29Speaker 1: than that, right, So, but apparently you know this guy
- 1:57:35Speaker 1: lived Joe alone, a long ass life. I want to
- 1:57:41Speaker 1: see if I have this. Uh, I want to see
- 1:57:44Speaker 1: if I have this picture of the man and his
- 1:57:47Speaker 1: in his elderly ages. Uh. I don't, but I can
- 1:57:58Speaker 1: get it right quick. Okay, here we go and here
- 1:58:04Speaker 1: we're here we go, Here we go. All right, let
- 1:58:11Speaker 1: me share my screen. This is cool, all right? This
- 1:58:28Speaker 1: is John Thomas Mason at his seventy sixth birthday party,
- 1:58:36Speaker 1: loving life shirt unbuttoned down to his nipples, two thumbs up.
- 1:58:45Speaker 1: Probably high as hell, happy as hell.
- 1:58:50Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:58:52Speaker 1: Yeah, John Thomas Mason, folks lived a long, happy life.
- 1:58:59Speaker 1: Yea happy life.
- 1:59:01Speaker 2: His grandkids are probably out there somewhere.
- 1:59:03Speaker 1: There's another picture here. This is his obituary. Born in Dallas, Texas,
- 1:59:09Speaker 1: blah blah blah. He went. He attended the University of
- 1:59:12Speaker 1: Houston and soul Russ State on a boxing scholarship. So
- 1:59:16Speaker 1: he was a scrapper Joe, he could box. Wow. John
- 1:59:23Speaker 1: began his career as a gunsmith and later founded the
- 1:59:26Speaker 1: John Mason Company and ASC Investment Casting Company. John went
- 1:59:30Speaker 1: home to be with our Lord on November twenty third,
- 1:59:33Speaker 1: twenty twenty five. We was preceded in death by his grandparents,
- 1:59:37Speaker 1: his parents, and his son, Sadley Christopher Ryan Mason. He
- 1:59:42Speaker 1: survived by his wife, Linda, and his four daughters, Wanda, Melanie, Johnna,
- 1:59:47Speaker 1: and Dawn, along with their spouses. He is survived by
- 1:59:51Speaker 1: nine grandchildren three great grandchildren. So it's a lot there.
- 2:00:00Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right South Twest. He is bawling out his
- 2:00:03Speaker 2: birthday party.
- 2:00:08Speaker 1: Yeah there was. There was another another picture, you know, and.
- 2:00:14Speaker 2: And thank you very much, Mike saying, excellent showfellas.
- 2:00:22Speaker 1: Uh, yeah, that's what we like to do. I got
- 2:00:30Speaker 1: another photo of him here. This is him. I'm guessing
- 2:00:41Speaker 1: with his uh grandchildren, his wife and grandchildren are great grandchildren.
- 2:00:47Speaker 1: One of the two.
- 2:00:48Speaker 2: Sorry for do o x X I an them. I'm
- 2:00:53Speaker 2: just kidding, doesn't.
- 2:00:56Speaker 1: It's all public information on that. Yeah, I.
- 2:01:01Speaker 2: Know, I'm joking, you know.
- 2:01:04Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, like I said, he lived a long life.
- 2:01:08Speaker 2: Long you know what, Sally had a great comment, he
- 2:01:15Speaker 2: did live a long life. You know we needed that's
- 2:01:19Speaker 2: a problem merged.
- 2:01:20Speaker 1: Sure, that's a good idea, Sally.
- 2:01:25Speaker 2: Don't care for Rob Any, He's gonna that's.
- 2:01:29Speaker 1: A good one. I'm picturing it in my head. Already.
- 2:01:36Speaker 1: Here we go. We're gonna get the pose ready, Rob
- 2:01:45Speaker 1: with a little thought bubble the problem. Mhm oh boy.
