  Speaker 2: Yeah, I started doing open mics in 2017 here in Fargo,

  Speaker 2: where I live, and started getting some road gigs here

  Speaker 2: and there in 2019. Of course, there was a year

  Speaker 2: and a half lull there with a... doing road gigs

  Speaker 2: 2020 to 21, but I'll, I'll give a shout out

  Speaker 2: to South Dakota since you guys, uh, uh, didn't change

  Speaker 2: anything in terms of what was open during those two years.

  Speaker 2: I actually did get some road gigs in down in

  Speaker 2: the black Hills and pier and think even Aberdeen. So nice. Yeah. Yeah,

  Speaker 2: I've done a lot of comedy around South Dakota.

  Speaker 1: Have you been to Sioux Falls for comedy before, Kyle?

  Speaker 2: Yeah, I have. I think the last show I did

  Speaker 2: in Sioux Falls was attended by seven people.

  Speaker 2: Yeah, so hoping to get at least eight this time.

  Speaker 1: We started doing the Billy Frogs comedy thing on Thursday nights.

  Speaker 1: I don't know anything about this. Hey, come out Thursday,

  Speaker 1: this Thursday, every Thursday. And the show starts at seven 30.

  Speaker 1: And that's one of the things that, that means a

  Speaker 1: lot to me. Cause you know, I have other people,

  Speaker 1: they'll say the show starts at seven 30 and then
• 2:04
  Speaker 1: it's like eight 15 and they still haven't started the show.

  Speaker 1: And I'm like, guys, That's rude for the people who
• 2:09
  Speaker 1: did show up on time. So, you know, we say 7.30.

  Speaker 1: It might be 7.35 or something, but it's not going
• 2:14
  Speaker 1: to be, you know, super, super tardy. We'll be pretty
• 2:18
  Speaker 1: close to 7.30. And there's an hour of comedy. And

  Speaker 1: Kyle is going to do the majority of that on
• 2:23
  Speaker 1: his own. I'm so excited to see you. I've heard
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: such good things. And I know some folks that have
• 2:26
  Speaker 1: worked with you. So they were the ones that connected us.

  Speaker 1: And like I said, I'm excited to have you come

  Speaker 1: and join us. But the thing that's been cool, the

  Speaker 1: very first night of the comedy show at Billy Frogs.

  Speaker 1: Way back on February 5th, there were 87 people squished
• 2:43
  Speaker 1: into Billy Frogs. And for folks that have been there,
• 2:45
  Speaker 1: they're probably thinking, where the heck were they? Yeah, they
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: were everywhere. There were people everywhere. And now it's kind
• 2:51
  Speaker 1: of settled where usually it's closer to where we're supposed
• 2:54
  Speaker 1: to be, like 65 to 70 people. And in the
• 2:57
  Speaker 1: middle of the summer, it got down to, there were
• 2:59
  Speaker 1: times where, you know, it was maybe 30 people, but
• 3:01
  Speaker 1: still That was a great show, and the people that
• 3:04
  Speaker 1: were coming out were there specifically for that. So it's
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: been a lot of fun. I'm glad they continued doing
• 3:09
  Speaker 1: it through the summer. We had talked about, do we
• 3:10
  Speaker 1: do this? Do we not do this? Now here we are,
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: working our way through October, coming soon, November 5th, Kyle
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: Huber will be here joining us, and And I think
• 3:19
  Speaker 1: you're going to have a good crowd. So I'm almost

  Speaker 1: positive we're going to beat your seven people you had

  Speaker 2: Yeah, even 30 in the summertime, that's not bad. You know,

  Speaker 2: it's just this area of the country. It's only nice

  Speaker 2: out four months out of the year. We don't want

  Speaker 2: to be inside. So that's about normal. Yeah.

  Speaker 1: So we're excited to, again, as it gets cooler, we've

  Speaker 1: got these shows we're doing. every Thursday, and typically we

  Speaker 1: do a Friday show. We're not doing a Friday show

  Speaker 1: the week you're here, and it's nothing to do with you.

  Speaker 1: There's a band that's in that same place where we
• 3:49
  Speaker 1: usually do our comedy, so we get to take that

  Speaker 1: particular Friday off, but we'll have you back to be

  Speaker 1: at that other facility sometime as well, and we're excited

  Speaker 1: to work with you on November 5th at Billy Frogs,

  Speaker 1: and I appreciate you saying yes when we reach down.

  Speaker 1: group that reached out a long time ago. They're traveling

  Speaker 1: through the area, and they booked this before we started

  Speaker 1: doing Friday night comedy shows. So I don't know who

  Speaker 1: the band is. I just know they said, hey, we

  Speaker 1: have this one to work around and this one. There

  Speaker 1: were two Fridays in 2026 that we didn't get to

  Speaker 1: do comedy, and that Friday was one of them. The

  Speaker 1: other one, I don't remember when that was. If I

  Speaker 1: look back, oh, here's what I looked. It was August 28th.

  Speaker 1: That was the other Friday that we didn't get to

  Speaker 1: do a show. But other than that, a Friday show,

  Speaker 1: a show every Friday at a place called the Grain Bin.

  Speaker 1: It's the back room of the Red Eye. So folks,
