Transcript
- 0:05[SPEAKER_00]: Hello, hello, hello and welcome to the MNQD NFL podcast, that's Albert Brear, I'm Conoror, and this is a big week, six buddy, so let's get right into it, as always, in our preview episode, we pick.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_00]: two games a piece that are going to define the NFL Sunday ahead in Monday and Thursday and Wednesday and Black Friday and Labor Day soon Valentine's Day.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: But we're going to pick two games each and then we're going to dive a little bit deeper on those plus one miners at the very least for every single one of your games and favorite teams.
- 0:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'll kick this one off Albert with the prices going down by the way.
- 0:48[SPEAKER_01]: Only two games have a get in price over 200.
- 0:51[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why this has become such a big topic for us, but only only two games.
- 0:57[SPEAKER_00]: It is interesting, right?
- 0:59[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I saw a viral fan post from a Tampa Bay raise.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: Season ticket holder who was rallying against the fact that no one shows up for any of these games ever and I think to get in price for the AL CS was like only like 160 bucks and he's like what are you doing everybody like but there was a weird dynamic pricing where
- 1:25[SPEAKER_00]: It was 99 bucks for this is like a book where four rows behind seats that were like 200 bucks and I think that the, I think that AI kind of throws everything off to and the algorithm pricing.
- 1:35[SPEAKER_00]: Well, it's like everything else like it's like this.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: This is a bigger conversation we now have some other time, but I think it actually leads to empty seats and stadiums.
- 1:44[SPEAKER_01]: It's effected a college football for sure, where you have some guy from Harvard Business School and his only job is to figure out how to maximize profit, right?
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, the only job he has.
- 1:54[SPEAKER_01]: And so he would rather sell 75 tickets at the higher price than he would 100 tickets at the lower price, which is why you wind up with empty seats and so many of these games.
- 2:05[SPEAKER_01]: And why, like, okay, like, you know, for example,
- 2:09[SPEAKER_01]: you know like let's say there's a big game in east rather for new jersey right like and that's like not the easiest place to get to and it's not in the middle of the city the way like a baseball stadium might be in a lot of places and so now like it's like you've over you've over over listed the price the you've over listed the tickets at least if you're trying to sell all of a hundred of them
- 2:32[SPEAKER_01]: And so those 20 tickets or 25 tickets that are out there that are still unsold, you've made your money already on the 75 or 80 that you sold.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: So now you're trying to unload the 20 or 25, the problem is your stadium's hard to get to.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_01]: So like 12, 45 for a 1 o'clock game, no one's buying those, right?
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: And they don't care because they've already made their money.
- 2:51[SPEAKER_01]: And so anything else they get is a bonus.
- 2:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's another example of how
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: Ivy League NBA's are effing up sports in just a million different ways.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: So thanks guys, appreciate it.
- 3:04[SPEAKER_00]: It's, it's a weird thing, right?
- 3:05[SPEAKER_00]: Because with personal seat licenses and a lot of stuff, what stadiums are trying to do is lock you in to a season long price, so that it doesn't really matter if the bottom falls out.
- 3:16[SPEAKER_00]: They have that money in their pockets and all they're really have to be worried about are there's outer bull tickets, which at the last minute they could panic and give to
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: 10 elementary schools and try to fill them.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: Some places that care do that.
- 3:30[SPEAKER_00]: Some places will not care.
- 3:33[SPEAKER_00]: And then when you go around and start taping all the empty seats, they'll have a security guard kindly escort you back to your seat in the press box where you can't put it out.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: So anyway, yes, it's getting harder and harder to get away.
- 3:45[SPEAKER_01]: Those two games by the way, are we either or not,
- 3:49[SPEAKER_01]: Well, this, the charge is at the chiefs, right, which is Arrowhead.
- 3:53[SPEAKER_01]: That's the highest price ticket.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_01]: And the number two is Dallas at Green Bay.
- 3:58[SPEAKER_01]: So I guess it's not a surprise that Arrowhead and Lamber the venues for the two hottest tickets.
- 4:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: Jerry Jones returning to the place where he says he saw a woman's bare butt pressed up against his limousine.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure we'll get to that game in a second.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: But.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to start with Houston the Jacksonville 930 a.m. Wembley Stadium in London.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: Let's go, baby.
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: The International Slade.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's a favorite.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: You got to catch it.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's like every week for the next seven weeks or something.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: I know.
- 4:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's just like it went from like a novelty to like now.
- 4:29[SPEAKER_01]: It's every week because they're trying to build a broadcat.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_01]: They're about trying to build another package they can sell.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: I know.
- 4:35[SPEAKER_00]: And it's, you know, what I am, uh,
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: I know very well Henry Hodgson, who is the head of NFL ops and has really been the main person responsible for growing the game in England, he's done a phenomenal job.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: That is former colleague of ours, former colleague of ours, that is the cleanest operation out of all of the international games by a wide margin, you know, it feels like you're watching
- 5:01[SPEAKER_00]: American football, but a very beautiful stadium, like everything looks the way that it should.
- 5:06[SPEAKER_00]: I would say Berlin's probably second, and then very distant, third and fourth being us, really.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, the white team's unique to me have a great feel.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: Like the ones I actually think of as a German venue's Munich feels to me like the best one, but
- 5:22[SPEAKER_01]: It's a chapter back there this year.
- 5:24[SPEAKER_01]: I think Lions Patriots is there this year.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, got to get, got to get Dan Campbell with a giant Stein of beer.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: But I'm kicking it off with Jags Texans Albert because
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what Marvin Harrison's gonna play on Sunday.
- 5:41[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know what Marvin Harrison's gonna do You you obviously probably build in a pretty small package although these things are so strange in the NFL where They say that and in your mind It's probably hard to imagine this guy playing anymore than 10 snaps and then he's probably gonna go out and play like 65 snaps on Sunday I feel it happens all the time now.
- 6:01[SPEAKER_01]: It does.
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you know what I mean?
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah
- 6:04[SPEAKER_01]: And I don't know how much of that is the coach is playing Koi in some situations, the coach is realizing like, oh God, this guy just required, it can really play and we need him today.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: And obviously, Houston's not in any, and Houston's not in any position right now to slow play anything.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: Right, like so if something's working out there, it's not like the guy's not in football shape.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's not like the guy is like coming off of an injury or hasn't been playing the last few weeks.
- 6:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's been playing.
- 6:32[SPEAKER_01]: So like just from a conditioning standpoint, he should be ready to roll the question is how much of it you can give him.
- 6:39[SPEAKER_01]: I I here's the the the the interesting thing about Houston to me now is
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's one piece to who they want to become is not there yet and if they can get it like I think they could be a real wagon and if they can win this game now all of a sudden the schedule sets up or it's not hard to see them getting back to 500 quickly you know.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_01]: that's the run game.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: I think CJ has been really good.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_01]: You know, CJ has been really good.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: And so you have CJ, you have me go Collins, Jalen Null has started to come on as a slot receiver.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: Kishan Boody's got a role there.
- 7:17[SPEAKER_01]: You're adding Marvin Harrison.
- 7:18[SPEAKER_01]: So the passing game I think is pretty healthy right now.
- 7:22[SPEAKER_01]: The defense again, like it was against the Titans, but I think it was a big step in playing the way that they did on Sunday.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_01]: Um, and so now, like, can they run the ball, you know, like to me, like, that's going to be the real, I think that's the differentiator on whether they can take out of the whole or not.
- 7:41[SPEAKER_01]: Um, because, like, running the ball is going to allow them to protect their offensive line and passing situations better.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the offensive line is the question, huh?
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm really glad you brought that up because,
- 7:53[SPEAKER_00]: I I've been saying it all year just casually and it's one of those times that I'm going to give myself a little pat on the back.
- 8:00[SPEAKER_00]: This is not a slight in anybody, but David Montgomery just didn't look like he had any juice and every time that Woody marks went into the game, the tenor of the game changed.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_00]: He just has explosion and Woody marks buried someone in past for a last week against the the Titans and he scored a long touchdown run that got a
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: It's like I call back by like a really bogus.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 8:23[SPEAKER_00]: So in my mind, I think that the Texans are starting to, you know, they've have been figuring it out, but it's like putting all these pieces together.
- 8:31[SPEAKER_00]: And you're going to get more help coming back on the offensive line soon.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm, like, I've remained bought in on this team because I mean, two damn talented to get it to get it right.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_01]: And the health, health of the offensive line will help.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_01]: But I don't think.
- 8:45[SPEAKER_01]: the ceiling for that offensive line is above average, right?
- 8:48[SPEAKER_01]: I think it's, I think if they have, if everything works out like their average, right, like in the offensive line.
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: And what's the worst position you can put that sort of offensive line in, it's an obvious pass in situations.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 9:04[SPEAKER_01]: You just can't do that.
- 9:06[SPEAKER_01]: And that's where the running game really protects you.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_01]: You have to stay on schedule.
- 9:09[SPEAKER_01]: You have to be well managed.
- 9:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's how you manage an offensive line issue.
- 9:13[SPEAKER_01]: And so like I think for them like that's going to be the big thing is like can you run the ball effectively now so over the last four weeks they rush for one 24 in the opener the last four weeks 60 70 62 79 not good enough right I mean they rush for 62 yards on a day against Dallas when they scored 30 points and that's not a great Dallas defense as we all know so like can the Texans
- 9:40[SPEAKER_01]: find a way to generate a running game over the next two weeks, then you get to the buy and if you're them, you can reset a little bit.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_01]: If they can get to the buy at three and four, like all of a sudden now, we're talking about.
- 9:51[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, a team in a really good spot.
- 9:52[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not like they lost a bad teams.
- 9:54[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 9:55[SPEAKER_01]: Like every one of the teams they lost who could be in the playoffs?
- 9:58[SPEAKER_00]: And they beat the hell out of the Texans, or other Titans, which they should have, right?
- 10:03[SPEAKER_00]: And I think that that to me is kind of that watermark.
- 10:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like are you blowing out in games that you're winning?
- 10:08[SPEAKER_00]: And remember, we've said this on the show a bunch of times before.
- 10:11[SPEAKER_00]: They were by far the unluckyest team in terms of down to down circumstance over the first four weeks of the season.
- 10:21[SPEAKER_00]: I want to save this really quick.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: My buddy Jordan Rodriguez did an awesome job of detailing the all the special teams things that went incredibly right for Jacksonville to come back and to save that win against against the Eagles last week in London and at a time when we're talking about.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: breakdowns of, of needless kinds.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: And we talk about the ram special teams, breakdowns, on Monday night football.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about the Eagles special team breakdown because I don't think it's a decision thing.
- 10:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think it was just bad kick coverage at the end of the day.
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: That was a special team's breakdown.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_00]: We're talking about clock management issues, all that kind of stuff.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen had some bad play calls last week, but for the totality of it, for a second-year head coach, incredibly buttoned up, that operation is tight, young players are playing incredibly well.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: I still am not backing off the fact that I think that this is eight.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: this is a legitimate super ball can tell you.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'm not either, and that's why I like this is such an important game.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's why, I mean, weirdly like the, maybe the two, like the, the two, to me, well, the three, I would say, the three games this week like that are real kind of like
- 11:39[SPEAKER_01]: harbingers of what could become and what could be to come or the Thursday night game the Sunday morning game the Sunday night game like those three I think like have like sort of like bigger picture implications on like which way one teamer and other is going.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_01]: And I think Jacksonville is that sort of test for Houston, which is really, I think a great marker of how far they've come.
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: Like, can you imagine saying a year and a half ago?
- 12:05[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah, like the Jaguars are going to be that, like that's going to be, you know, a game where we're going to find out who Houston is.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_01]: You wouldn't have believed that Liam Cohen could have got the program to where he has that fast, but here they are.
- 12:16[SPEAKER_01]: And you're right, like, even like the kickoffer
- 12:22[SPEAKER_01]: with seven seconds left, right?
- 12:25[SPEAKER_01]: Like having like a special team's operation, like that's pure special teams.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's like a deeper turn, and a field goal.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_01]: Like there is no, there's no Josh Allen Heinz out there.
- 12:36[SPEAKER_01]: There are Josh Heinz Allen out there.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_01]: There is no Eric Armstrong stood out there.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: There is no Trayvon Walker out there.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: There is no Travis Hunter out there.
- 12:45[SPEAKER_01]: Like that is, there's no Trevor Lawrence.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_01]: Like that is special teams and that no Parker Washington that is special teams and that is and that is and and and and special teams alone and so again like I think that's just a sign of like a well run or operation is that you have every part of the games tied up and every part of the game is capable of winning the game.
- 13:07[SPEAKER_00]: I want to spotlight Anthony Campanelli for a second here.
- 13:10[SPEAKER_00]: If this guy's not a head coach next year, I don't know what we're doing.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: This is the Jacksonville Jaguars, are the first teams since the NFL merger to not allow a 40-yard Russia through the first five games of the season.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: Four zero.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that's not insane.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: And in addition to that, if that wasn't bonkers enough,
- 13:37[SPEAKER_00]: any so this is from pro football talk.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: Any player gained in the most rushing yards gained by any player in a game against the Jaguars last year was 74.
- 13:48[SPEAKER_01]: The last two weeks combined, they've allowed 45 yards rushing.
- 13:52[SPEAKER_00]: It's been like 23 weeks since someone's gained more than 74 yards on them.
- 13:58[SPEAKER_00]: And what did they do this offseason Albert?
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: They let people go.
- 14:02[SPEAKER_00]: They let Devon Lloyd go.
- 14:04[SPEAKER_00]: Right.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_00]: Like, and we're all sitting, you're thinking they're going to be dead in the water.
- 14:09[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you know,
- 14:10[SPEAKER_00]: Whatever, you can say that this year has been the central season to double down on the value the offensive play caller slash head coach and you can point out the struggles of defensive coordinators and constantly trying to cycle through a non-play calling head coach, just trying to cycle through offensive coordinators.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's a very real problem.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: But if you're not trying to get that guy in your building to see if he can fix your defense, I don't know what you're doing.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he has been lights out.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: So there you go, Jaguar's friends.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: There's people talking about your team.
- 14:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think you could go to the Super Bowl.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think you have.
- 14:44[SPEAKER_00]: quite possibly the third or fourth best defensive coordinator in the NFL and and it's different right Anthony Campanales not allowed to do and probably doesn't have the right players to do what Brian Flores is doing and so we look at what Brian Flores is doing and we talk about how impressive it is
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: What Campanales doing in Jacksonville is also really impressive, and he deserves a lot of credit for that.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_00]: One of the most frustrating things about paying off debt is feeling like you're making payments every month, but you're not really sure how much progress you're making.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: You're putting money towards it.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_00]: You're trying to be responsible, but sometimes it feels like the finish line is never any closer.
- 15:37[SPEAKER_00]: And I think just being able to see that progress can make a huge difference.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: That's one of the things I like about Monarch.
- 15:43[SPEAKER_00]: It's debt pay down simulator and visualizer.
- 15:45[SPEAKER_00]: Let's you see exactly when you could be debt free based on your actual balances and payments.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: You can even compare different payment strategies and see how much faster you could pay things off.
- 15:55[SPEAKER_00]: Instead of just looking at a balance and wondering when you'll finally get it down to zero, you have an actual timeline to work towards.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: And if you can find a little extra room in your budget, you can see how that changes your plan.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: Monarch also makes it easier to keep track of everything in one place, so you're not constantly guessing where your money is going, or whether you're on track with your goals.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_00]: It's about having a plan, seeing your progress and feeling like you're actually moving forward.
- 16:18[SPEAKER_00]: Write your own money story with Monarch.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: Use code mmqb at monark.com to get your first year of Monark Core half off at just $50.
- 16:28[SPEAKER_00]: That's 50% off your first year at monark.com with code mmqb.
- 16:34[SPEAKER_00]: Albert give me a game that you're looking for on Sunday.
- 16:36[SPEAKER_01]: So I'm going to take the last one in Sunday.
- 16:38[SPEAKER_01]: You took the first one.
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to take the last one.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sir.
- 16:41[SPEAKER_01]: At Green Day.
- 16:43[SPEAKER_01]: You know,
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: They're not like at a critical point where their season's on or anything, but
- 16:52[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, the eagles are the, the cowboys are two and three tie with the eagles.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_01]: And the packers are three and two in a division that looks like it might have four, four teams finish the season about 500, you know?
- 17:05[SPEAKER_01]: So the packers are in a situation where every game is critical.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_01]: The cowboys are actually closer to first place at two and three than the packers are at three and two.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_01]: And I just,
- 17:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think like both these teams have relatively high ceilings, you know, and so like is what we saw from Jordan Love, which was fantastic on Sunday is that real.
- 17:32[SPEAKER_01]: How are the cowboys hold up against that packers offense defensively?
- 17:38[SPEAKER_01]: Um, do we see more of Joey Porter now?
- 17:40[SPEAKER_01]: Right?
- 17:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like, and are we now at a point where defensively it's going to be like kind of the group that we see them going forward with like, can you get more out of that group?
- 17:52[SPEAKER_01]: You know, the micaparsan storylines, obviously the micaparsan storyline.
- 17:57[SPEAKER_01]: So I think there's just like a lot of interesting, a lot of interesting pieces to this one.
- 18:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I do think it's like a, it's a pretty important game for both teams.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, it's also one of those like where if these teams wind up as wild cards, it could wind up determining where a playoff game is played.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: This is a Mike Petten revenge game.
- 18:17[SPEAKER_00]: Him going against his former employer, the Green Bay Packers, seems a defensive coordinator for Matt LaFlor.
- 18:24[SPEAKER_00]: And Mike Petten gave Christian Parker who's starting the NFL, so there's a relationship there.
- 18:29[SPEAKER_00]: But that said, it's not as simple as, hey, there's a new guy that's gonna come in and help you call the plays.
- 18:35[SPEAKER_00]: You know, there's a socio-emotional dynamics all this, Albert.
- 18:40[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it's,
- 18:41[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard for a young guy getting his first shot at this to come in and now have somebody kind of sitting next to him and looking over a shoulder and we've seen additions like this fail spectacularly I'm thinking about like the game management coach that was added to Nathaniel Hackett staff in Denver.
- 19:01[SPEAKER_00]: I remember when Rex Ryan went out actually speaking of the Rex Ryan brought in Brian Shot time or connection when Brian Shot time or was struggling in 2011 brought in Tom Moore and Brian Shot time or had to fax the game plans over to Tommy, who back then felt like he was 90 years old and is still in the NFL or still in football, working on stuff.
- 19:17[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I,
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: The dynamics of this can be complicated, but people roll the rise at Petton.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_00]: I think Petton's a brilliant defensive coach has been in the league for a long time, and I think this could be a net ad if you play it right.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: So like I think we're all wondering what?
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: would be the obvious here, which is you're putting an experience play called on the staff.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_01]: Are you doing it, like in case of emergency break last?
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: Did you read it that way at all?
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: Well, so it's hard not to, right?
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard not to accept for the fact that Patton and Parker have a defined relationship.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_00]: Now, what is interesting about it is you could argue that they have two very different schematic that that's what I was going to get to is like that's what it's by right this feels to me this feels to me like.
- 20:20[SPEAKER_01]: If that was the plan that's a flawed plan and I'd take you back to the Eagles in 2023 to prove it, right, where you had Sean to sigh, if you remember the Eagles hired Sean to sigh, because they wanted Vic Fangio scheme, they tried to poach Vic from Miami if I remember it was right if I remember that correctly correct they tried to poach Vic from Miami they couldn't get them and and then and then they brought in Sean to side or to put that scheme in.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_01]: Um, for one reason or another didn't work.
- 20:53[SPEAKER_01]: They had map Patricia on the staff map Patricia also a really, really high end defensive mind, but now he's running somebody else's scheme and it became impossible because like, could he draw it up and explain what they were doing.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, of course he could, but like when things went wrong.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: Could he fix it as things were happening in games?
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: Could he troubleshoot it?
- 21:21[SPEAKER_01]: And that was the problem.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: It's like when you don't have, when you aren't at like a part of like building a scheme at the grass roots and you haven't taught it since you were younger and you haven't called it, you haven't been part of calling it before, then
- 21:36[SPEAKER_01]: Like now you're being asked to do it, it's like a totally different deal.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's hard.
- 21:41[SPEAKER_01]: You know, Patricia was asked to call Fangeo scheme because that's what the players have been taught since the spring.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_01]: You know, like he wasn't going to put in the Patriots scheme all of a sudden.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_01]: The same way Mike Patton, if they were going to go to Chris, if they were going to go to Patton, wouldn't be able to just put the Raven scheme in.
- 21:58[SPEAKER_01]: You know, right.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_01]: Wouldn't be able to do that.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_01]: So, like,
- 22:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's why like I think I like this for what it is.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like I like this for a given Christian Parker, a helping hand with some stuff.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think where you get to trouble is if you start viewing this as like we're gonna fire him in three games and then Mike Patton's gonna take over play Kong because I'm not sure that that would really work.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm gonna give you an image of something that's gonna do that like bringing Edda on Don and Tell or something.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 22:29[SPEAKER_00]: I want to give you an image of something that Matt Nagy put in my head once because I would like people to understand that there is no real Vic Fangeo defense.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: There's Vic Fangeo right and there's working for Vic Fangeo and there's an idea of what he runs but Matt Nagy told this story once and he said I remember walking by his office.
- 22:52[SPEAKER_00]: And he's just sitting there by himself with a stack of papers on one side hard copies of all the looks that he's going to see from the opposing offense on Sunday and by pencil by hand is just doing tendency breakers over and over and over again what can I do here what can I do here what can I do here what can I do here I love Christian Parker I think he's going to be a bright young coach in this league I think he's going to coach this league for a long time.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_00]: He, it's impossible for him to have that experience because Vic Fangio's been doing that.
- 23:28[SPEAKER_00]: since Vick Fangeo coached against my father in high school.
- 23:33[SPEAKER_00]: Like in 1977, yeah, so like, you know, I knew you guys had this grand connection.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't know that.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_00]: He was the defensive coordinator of the Dunmore box in 1978 doing tendency breakers for who was then one of the most legendary
- 23:54[SPEAKER_00]: Hens is one of the most legendary coaches in area history and that Vic Fint the guy who Vic Fangeo coach for coach for a hundred years, right?
- 24:03[SPEAKER_00]: It's just impossible to expect Christian Parker to have that base of knowledge yet.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's it.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: You know what I mean?
- 24:11[SPEAKER_00]: And so it's hard to run the Vic Fangeo scheme without the that part of the without the robot brain
- 24:18[UNKNOWN]: in there.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_01]: And like that's like comes back to like why the shenanamic vatry like why they'll all tell you you can draw our offense up, but you don't know it unless you learn it from the grassroots.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_01]: Like because you don't have the detail, you don't know how we teach it.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_01]: You don't know like you don't know it.
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: You know what I mean?
- 24:37[SPEAKER_01]: Like you don't know why we're doing all these things.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_01]: You don't know why this guards hand is placed here.
- 24:42[SPEAKER_01]: You don't know why like you don't know and and
- 24:48[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, you bring it back to like my background, like the wing T is like, when I was a kid, like it was like, oh yeah, we ran like 50 plays, but it was really just eight concepts with like six plays off of each of them, you know.
- 25:04[SPEAKER_01]: And like the Shanahan offense, for example, there's these bigger, like over reaching concepts and they're running all these concepts off the same, they're running these concepts
- 25:18[SPEAKER_01]: If you don't know how to teach those concepts because so much of it's based on detail and you've got nothing because then you don't know how to correct it when something goes wrong right you have to be able to know and then that's where I think it comes in to where it comes in right it is like it's like can I call can I can I can I draw it up kind of call it yeah.
- 25:36[SPEAKER_01]: can I correct it?
- 25:38[SPEAKER_01]: That's a little harder.
- 25:40[SPEAKER_01]: And that's what you're talking about with Fangea, where it's like he can correct it because he's seen it up against almost anything you could possibly do to it.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_01]: And so yeah, anyway, that's a tangent that we just know.
- 25:51[SPEAKER_00]: But I think that's it's fun.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like,
- 25:54[SPEAKER_00]: Here's the, like, this is what we're going to lose.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, so much of what I say, this is like, how I can feel my age.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_01]: So much of what I say now, like comes back to, it's not madden, you know what I mean?
- 26:05[SPEAKER_01]: Like, it's not madden.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: And it's not like, like, when you play madden as a kid, you can run every play in the playbook, right?
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_01]: You can run every play in the play.
- 26:14[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you don't have to get good at it.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_01]: You can just,
- 26:16[SPEAKER_01]: Like, I can punch this and I can run whatever I want, right?
- 26:19[SPEAKER_01]: Like, these are actual human beings after having to execute this and it's way more detailed than you realize and getting human beings to be really good at these things is really, really hard.
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: And it takes a lot of detail on everything else.
- 26:32[SPEAKER_01]: It is not mad at it.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: You know, it's the same as like the whole argument like, well, play them all in the preseason.
- 26:36[SPEAKER_01]: Well, those are human beings out there and they do have no domitor on their bodies and like throwing them out there for three preseason games might not be the best idea.
- 26:46[SPEAKER_01]: like when they'd still need to be standing in December, January.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_00]: I will say this about Madden, one of my good friends to this day.
- 26:53[SPEAKER_00]: His dad was the high school football coach.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_00]: And so growing up, you know, he had the time on task in terms of playing Madden, he had the hours, but his dad would sit down there and just because he had like a brilliant schematic mind would know exactly when
- 27:12[SPEAKER_00]: He was one step ahead of his son every moment in time because he could see the game that way and it didn't matter that Oh, I'm good with the joysticks.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_00]: It was like no, you can do nothing against this coverage right now.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm really burying your ass So I always I always like think about that really quickly on the packers the I'm gonna I'm gonna I'm gonna just take a pause Because last week was so exciting
- 27:40[SPEAKER_00]: But here's like, oh, my God, there it is, right?
- 27:44[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, my God, there it is.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: But here's a couple things that happen last week that I don't think are gonna happen this week.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: Tyson Beijing's not gonna turn the ball over twice.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 27:52[SPEAKER_00]: Dak Prescott is not just some Beijing.
- 27:54[SPEAKER_00]: Fair enough.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_00]: And I wonder, Dallas's defense is equally as worse than Chicago.
- 28:01[SPEAKER_00]: But how do you look at that tape?
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: and allow what happened a second week in a row.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_00]: If you're Mike Patton, if you're a Christian Parker, you talk about Madden and it was obviously more complex in this and they were great in play action too.
- 28:16[SPEAKER_00]: But the Packers were just,
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: bombing it down the field and they were just bombing it down the field.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: And I would guess that Dallas is going to be more inclined to be like, hey, let's see if you can run the ball against us.
- 28:30[SPEAKER_00]: You know, I'm not letting that happen again.
- 28:32[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like Christian Watson just absolutely destroy.
- 28:35[SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see what happens.
- 28:38[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is this is definitely an interesting one to keep an eye on.
- 28:44[SPEAKER_00]: Never open the fridge, stare at it for five minutes, and then just decide, you know what?
- 28:49[SPEAKER_00]: I guess I'm ordering takeout.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like I do that way too often.
- 28:52[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, the one thing that's helped me avoid it is having good stuff ready to go in the freezer.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I've been using butcher box.
- 28:59[SPEAKER_00]: Butcher box delivers 100% grass fed beef, organic chicken, wild caught seafood, and more, all sourced to the standards that they can actually tell you about.
- 29:08[SPEAKER_00]: They've already done the research and made the tough sourcing decisions.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_00]: So all you really have to do is figure out
- 29:15[SPEAKER_00]: And I like that you can customize your box because I'm pretty predictable with what I actually I'll keep some burgers and some steak stock and then when I get home and I don't feel like going out or spending money on delivery I can just grab something from the freezer and I'm good I've made a bunch of different meals with it, but honestly sometimes the best part is just having something there You don't have to make dinner into this whole production
- 29:36[SPEAKER_00]: throw some trick in on the grill, make some burgers, whatever, and you're done.
- 29:40[SPEAKER_00]: It's basically like having your own neighborhood butcher, except you don't have to leave your house.
- 29:44[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're trying to make dinner a little easier and keep some really good protein on hand, check out butcherbox.com.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_00]: It's definitely become one of those things I like having around because it makes the whole, what am I eating tonight, decision?
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: A lot easier.
- 29:58[SPEAKER_00]: If you're looking for an easier way to get great meals on the table, give butcherbox a try.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_00]: Go to butcherbox.com slash mmqb to get $20 off your first box, plus your choice of free ribeye, New York strip, or filet mignon, and every box for a year with free shipping always.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's butcherbox.com slash mmqb again, butcherbox.com slash mmqb.
- 30:21[SPEAKER_00]: Be sure to use our link so they know that we sent you.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: The other one that I'm going to pick Albert is, and this will be a little bit obscure, but I want to see the Steelers go down to Tampa Bay and win another one of these games.
- 30:35[SPEAKER_00]: And the reason why is I have totally done a 180, and I'll admit it on this Steelers offense, on the Valkyrie, what's that?
- 30:46[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: I gotta take it with Steelers.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to go ahead, but I'm going to get a chamber of the bit for this one.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 30:51[SPEAKER_00]: I've done a 180 on the Steelers offense.
- 30:54[SPEAKER_00]: the fact that with down so many people and even down Ben Scoronic, this team has been able to find a way to manufacture points.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_00]: Aaron Rogers will have bad Roger's games, but I think that I've totally flipped on this and everyone's going to be pounding at their, you know, pounding at their desks listening to this.
- 31:15[SPEAKER_00]: But
- 31:16[SPEAKER_00]: I think that there is an immense value in having him in this spot and having Mike McCarthy with him right now.
- 31:21[SPEAKER_00]: And if that defense can play the way it played last week against the cults, where it shut down Jonathan Taylor and then just doubled Indianapolis's best remaining wide receiver.
- 31:31[SPEAKER_00]: And basically it was Tyler Warnchell.
- 31:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think that they could win this game over an undrafted free-aging quarterback, no disrespect to Jalen Daniels.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_00]: I think they could win this game by three touchdowns.
- 31:43[SPEAKER_01]: So the Steelers have looked a lot better, right?
- 31:46[SPEAKER_01]: And I think the Steelers are hitting their stride.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: And I, I, I mean, the Brown, even the Browns game they came back in, they were able to be to really get Bengals team.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: They beat the Colts soundly, right?
- 31:59[SPEAKER_01]: And so they did all of this, like a mid,
- 32:02[SPEAKER_01]: All of the McCarthy Rogers stuff on the field, right?
- 32:08[SPEAKER_01]: McCarthy is saying, I think a week before that, like saying like publicly, like we need to push back on play calling, right?
- 32:17[SPEAKER_01]: Like when we think something's going wrong, something along those lines.
- 32:20[SPEAKER_01]: Jalen Ramsey said there's a disconnect between the coaches and the players, right?
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: And everything told you, like, oh my God, this thing is bubbling up and like it's going to spill over and my God is it's gonna be a mess.
- 32:33[SPEAKER_01]: Where are the opposites happening?
- 32:35[SPEAKER_01]: What if, because so much of this stuff, and it's like drives me crazy, right?
- 32:42[SPEAKER_01]: But so much of this stuff is like being about being polite and being touchy-feely with guys and not getting in guys' faith.
- 32:49[SPEAKER_01]: It's so much of it now is like, how do we properly manage these young players and bring them along and instill confidence?
- 32:56[SPEAKER_01]: And what I'm seeing now and I didn't see it right away, but what I'm starting to see now is a bunch of older guys who have a sense of urgency, who understand this is their one shot added together, who are confrontational, who are in each other's faces, who are willing to address problems in the moment and not let them fester for two or three weeks.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_01]: What if that's what we're watching?
- 33:20[SPEAKER_01]: What if like what we're seeing with Mike McCarthy now is a veteran team and a bunch of guys who are comfortable in their own skin and a veteran coaching staff and a bunch of guys who don't mind if the players are giving them input.
- 33:34[SPEAKER_01]: What if that's what we're watching right.
- 33:37[SPEAKER_01]: where it is in your face, and you know what, when I got to say FU to you, I'm gonna say FU to you, who, you know?
- 33:44[SPEAKER_01]: And when I got to say something's wrong, I'm gonna tell you it's wrong.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_01]: What if that's what we're watching right now?
- 33:52[SPEAKER_00]: I, you know what, I laughed because, right?
- 33:55[SPEAKER_00]: No, I laughed because it's so frustrating.
- 33:59[SPEAKER_01]: Because it feels like things are getting fixed along the way.
- 34:05[SPEAKER_00]: It's frustrating to me when your job is to try to understand the NFL in the offseason and to make predictions based on what you see and believe and hope and think and all that kind of stuff.
- 34:17[SPEAKER_00]: And we can't all be Peter Schrager who gets the Super Bowl right every year, Albert, and has since 1986.
- 34:23[SPEAKER_00]: We can't all be Peter.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_00]: And so for the rest of us,
- 34:27[SPEAKER_00]: you're left to to make decisions based on what you've learned everything about the biomarkers of the Steelers down to the fact that I think that maybe they were hoping to go in a different to get somebody else to be the head coach.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_00]: Let me to believe that this thing was host on arrival, right, 43-year-old quarterback, 38-year-old start, you know, and 34-year-old
- 34:57[SPEAKER_00]: And it's going to be the season that they figured out and it's like, you know, it's like true detective where the old buddy cops get together and they come and they save the day and this stealers seems going to win 10 games.
- 35:09[SPEAKER_01]: I just know it, you know, whatever it's just it's so.
- 35:13[SPEAKER_01]: it's like the ultimate like and look I I was critical of them and I still don't know right it's possible this team shows his age down the stretch and they look worn out and there are a bunch of they did that last year that's 100% still on the board but
- 35:37[SPEAKER_01]: So now we're talking about a team that potentially could be six and two going into Cincinnati on Sunday night football coming off of a buy.
- 35:44[SPEAKER_01]: I know of number 15.
- 35:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 35:49[SPEAKER_01]: And again, I just
- 35:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's just interesting because I think like so much of it in football too, is are you doing something different than everybody else?
- 36:01[SPEAKER_01]: Are you capable, are you, are you zinging when everybody else is zagging?
- 36:05[SPEAKER_01]: Are you presenting, it's a proverbial, everybody is built to defend the past, and everybody has 220 pound line backwards, and 245 pound defense events, and so you know what, here comes Derek Henry at you.
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: you know, like that's what it, you know, and so it's just I think playing the Steelers is a different challenge for teams because they run complex schemes and they have veteran cape players capable of running them and not only that, but veteran cape players that are capable of challenging the coaches and changing things on the fly as they go.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: And so it's just a really interesting experiment, I think.
- 36:45[SPEAKER_01]: And look, like at the end of the year,
- 36:48[SPEAKER_01]: one way or the other.
- 36:49[SPEAKER_01]: They're probably tearing the whole thing down and starting over in a lot of spots, right?
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: But for right now, I'm actually excited.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm more excited about the Steelers and gain to watch them than I thought I would be five weeks in.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see what happens on the Baker Mayfield front.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_00]: I know we're recording this at 9 a.m. on Thursday.
- 37:07[SPEAKER_00]: I know on Wednesday, he was attempting to grip and throw the football at the same time.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_00]: I know everybody there in Tampa.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_00]: The guys love bulls.
- 37:16[SPEAKER_00]: I know that they're trying to rally forum.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_00]: We'll see if they can get off the.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_00]: This is also a stealersy game where like we finally have arrived at Steelers hype and then they go out and they just say,
- 37:25[SPEAKER_00]: They put up like eight yards of total offense and they lose Game 2, but I don't know.
- 37:30[SPEAKER_00]: I like Steelers give me give me one more from you Yeah, in my gut.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_01]: I want to give you Chicago at Atlanta.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: We'll get to that in the one line or say suppose Carolina at Philly Okay, I think this is like I think Dave can now us probably internally as this is a measuring stick game for his team And I mean like Carolina
- 37:54[SPEAKER_01]: On Sunday night when we last saw them looked really good against a good lion's team, they win that.
- 38:00[SPEAKER_01]: The browns loss, the bears loss, they go, I think, you saw, it's just, there's sort of like a jack on high thing going on with them here, you know, a little bit.
- 38:10[SPEAKER_01]: And the Eagles have a ton of questions.
- 38:14[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 38:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, speaking of people who thrive in chaos, like I think Seria and he's one of those that like he thrives in chaos, and so he's got this chaotic situation and offensive line that is completely influx, no Sake Juan Barclay, the receiver situation is still being figured out, you know, defensively they can't rush the pastor.
- 38:37[SPEAKER_01]: On paper this does this looks to me like a here come the Panthers ready to announce themselves game and ready to stamp themselves as a as a real contender by going into Philadelphia and winning.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_01]: doesn't go the other way.
- 38:52[SPEAKER_00]: And it's, you know, I think some people might raise eyebrows the fact that you're calling the Eagles and measuring stick game, given everything, but let's remember.
- 38:59[SPEAKER_00]: But it still is.
- 39:00[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I think it still is.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_01]: If your heels are going to see it.
- 39:03[SPEAKER_00]: It plays away from beating the Rams and the Jaguars.
- 39:06[SPEAKER_00]: And you can't throw that out.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: And they won the conference, was it two out of the last four years, right?
- 39:14[SPEAKER_01]: So like, and they've been in the playoffs every year, since Seria and you got there, like they are one of the standard bears in the NFC still, despite everything has happened.
- 39:23[SPEAKER_01]: So I still think for a team like Carolina, that one is division last year, but are people taking them seriously enough?
- 39:30[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is a chance for them to make a statement.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_00]: the Vikings, or the Panthers this year, excuse me, has been encouraging, uh, Bryce and Tatmic Millen, and the fact that, like, listen, the fact that the running game has been effective as it has been, I don't want to hear any excuses because this offensive line was ripped apart by injuries.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_00]: Um, absolutely gutted, and it's been tough to see, uh, some of the stories about Taylor
- 40:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know, that's a disease and that's an issue that hits home for a lot of people.
- 40:09[SPEAKER_00]: It's not just something that you can, you know, roll your eyes at.
- 40:13[SPEAKER_00]: And so, you know, this, this off of this coaching staff, their survivors, they know how to get by in situations like this.
- 40:24[SPEAKER_00]: I'm dying to see it.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, Vic is going to be a good test, specifically for Bryce Young.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_00]: Bryce has been able to extend a lot of plays.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_00]: He's the most under pressure quarterback in the NFL this year, but I think a lot of that has to do with again, how he's able to navigate the pocket and extend place.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: But he's playing with a ton of, like you can see how confident he is, like, and how he can see it now and like I always felt like the,
- 40:50[SPEAKER_01]: I remember watching him at Alabama and I remember thinking this when I watched him in a preseason game when he was a rookie is like, when he's at his best, he looks so calm that back there.
- 40:59[SPEAKER_01]: And you're starting to see that happening in big spots where it's just, he looks like in command and calm and like, I,
- 41:07[SPEAKER_01]: I'm excited to see what that looks like, what price-yong against Vic Fangeo and a really good Philadelphia defense is going to look like.
- 41:15[SPEAKER_01]: Again, with the question, can the Eagles with their lack of pass rush exploit the Panthers offensive line issue will see?
- 41:23[SPEAKER_00]: get that contract ink ready co-ceds unite jail and co-cars been hurt but had the by week to rest up and I do think the sale and all for revenge game jail and Philips revenge game the other thing to damn you for not paying me 30 million you only offer me 27 what it is I'm upset
- 41:41[SPEAKER_00]: Dave can now submit a good point.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_00]: I thought in his weekly presser where he said, it got how nice it is to have the by week when all these clock management errors happen, because you're sitting there with the staff and yourself scouting and like, oh, there's a commander's thing over there, oh, there's the eagle thing over there, which again, I don't think was a clock management error, but it gives you the perfect time.
- 42:06[SPEAKER_00]: to reset and to recalibrate on those things specifically.
- 42:11[SPEAKER_00]: Like that's the time to do it the by week.
- 42:13[SPEAKER_00]: And so I thought that the early bi typically sucks for teams like this, but I don't know if I'm the Eagles, I'm very worried about arrested, Carolina Panthers team coming in and what's the last time we said that my goodness gracious.
- 42:27[SPEAKER_00]: All right, let's hit some of these one liners as we, as we go up and down the league Chicago and Atlanta, it looks like we're going to have Caleb Williams.
- 42:39[SPEAKER_00]: Ben Johnson double effing the sideline bears radio reporter for asking about momentum last week is my guess the human that we're going to get coming into this game.
- 42:50[SPEAKER_00]: Michael Panics is coming off the rib injury.
- 42:53[SPEAKER_00]: I don't like Edland and this one.
- 42:55[SPEAKER_00]: Like Edland has been red hot.
- 42:56[SPEAKER_00]: This offense is looked great.
- 42:58[SPEAKER_00]: This is a get right game for the Chicago Bears.
- 43:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yep.
- 43:02[SPEAKER_01]: And I love like I mean,
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: the idea of the bears playing inside and like kind of like a pissed off mood after what happening is the packers and the falcons do have deficiencies defensively, they should be able to take advantage of that to me is like a holy crap like this could be Ben Johnson, you know.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_01]: like I had something in my mind and my mind and an analogy I was going to use in my mind there that is not appropriate for the, uh, the podcast.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_01]: Nice.
- 43:34[SPEAKER_00]: You'll have the text to me afterwards.
- 43:36[SPEAKER_00]: I'm, uh, I'm looking forward to this.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_00]: Um, yeah.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_01]: Me, what I'm talking about.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: But I think, but I, but I do think like this is, this is a tough spot for Atlanta.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: So I'll be impressed if Kevin's defense skis team can come out of this with a win.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_01]: Montez sweats.
- 43:48[SPEAKER_01]: like they're not great Russian the pastor to begin with.
- 43:52[SPEAKER_01]: And so losing Montes what for Atlanta and New England is something to keep an eye on too.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_00]: We don't quite yet know what's going to happen.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_00]: Lamar Jackson did not practice Wednesday.
- 44:05[SPEAKER_00]: Again, we're taping this on Thursday morning.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_00]: I actually have a phone call with a snoop-huntly coming later today.
- 44:14[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe I'll post it in the subtext.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_00]: For not in the subtext, get this subtext.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_00]: I need to get this subtext.
- 44:22[SPEAKER_00]: SMS updates from every management.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_00]: Yes, on the on the MFDB crew.
- 44:28[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, ideally, if you're Cleveland, the athleticism that you've built up on defense is supposed to sustain you in games like this.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is a big game for Rudy, Mike Root and Burke, Cleveland's defensive coordinator, and it's a big game for Munkin because if you look completely outclassed in this one,
- 44:49[SPEAKER_00]: It's hard because you spent three years with all these players and, you know, again, it's a different coach, it's a different coordinator, it's a different scheme, but even if Lamar plays, you are his primary play caller for a long time, you know, and show me that show me what you learned from that experience and how you're going to call plays against him.
- 45:10[SPEAKER_00]: Next Albert, we're looking at Tennessee and Indianapolis is this the week.
- 45:14[SPEAKER_00]: the Colts or the Titans get off.
- 45:17[SPEAKER_00]: Get off that offer.
- 45:18[SPEAKER_00]: You can get into Tennessee and Indianapolis for less than the ticket price of two seats at Spider-Man brand new day at the AMC theaters in Rock, Way New Jersey, right now.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_00]: So get them all there are.
- 45:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: $30.
- 45:35[SPEAKER_01]: That's the loaf for the week two, right?
- 45:37[SPEAKER_00]: That is the loaf.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 45:38[SPEAKER_00]: Do you think the Titans can get a win here?
- 45:40[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, I think I think the colds win this game.
- 45:46[SPEAKER_01]: I, it feels like Tennessee's everybody's right get right game now, right?
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: Like so, colds coming off of a tough loss and in Pittsburgh this,
- 45:56[SPEAKER_01]: seems to be a get right spot for them.
- 45:58[SPEAKER_01]: I just, I mean, look, like, you know, we can talk about Camoard another time, more in depth, and I'm sure we will as we get closer to April.
- 46:10[SPEAKER_01]: It's, it's getting later early for him, you know what I mean?
- 46:14[SPEAKER_01]: And so, I think the calls take this one, I think is a relatively breezy one for Indianapolis.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_00]: Um, I, I, I want to say this really quickly, the cults struggled last week because again, basically the opposing defense just doubled down, right?
- 46:32[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have Alec Pierce.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_00]: You don't have anybody else.
- 46:34[SPEAKER_00]: And then if you stop the run, it really clogs everything up.
- 46:38[SPEAKER_00]: The Titans have Jeffrey Simmons.
- 46:39[SPEAKER_00]: That's like the one piece that they have left.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_00]: That's of any value.
- 46:43[SPEAKER_00]: uh and the offensive line should be better.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_00]: They're good.
- 46:46[SPEAKER_00]: But my, my thought and I, I actually tend to see radio every week and the thing that I left them with and I'll leave you with here, Albert is, they are the least personal diverse team in the NFL.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_00]: And if you sit down and you look around the table at the offensive coordinator at the quarterback and the head coach and you just say why my curiosity is what the answer is is this a quarterback who can't run a multiple scheme is this an offensive coordinator who's been doing this for 35 years who can't run a multiple scheme is this ahead coach who has coached with 90 different quarterbacks who can't run a multiple scheme.
- 47:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_00]: So, I think the camward discourse may come to ahead one way or another.
- 47:30[SPEAKER_00]: Jets at New England, what do you think about this one hour?
- 47:35[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I, I think the Patriots are like on their way to be coming.
- 47:41[SPEAKER_00]: What they were last year, Phil Sims called them the best team in football today on WFAM.
- 47:46[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it did he really?
- 47:48[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
- 47:49[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how locked in Phil is anymore.
- 47:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think they're going to get some version of AJ Brown back this week.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 47:54[SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be full on AJ Brown, but I think they're going to get some of AJ Brown back this week.
- 47:59[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think that allows different guys to slot back into roles that are
- 48:05[SPEAKER_01]: um Yeah, and their defenses playing really well like it's just like I
- 48:13[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think they're the best team in football, but I think this is like a chance for the jets to make a statement on who they are and at least having an ability to take New England into the fourth quarter, like can you do that, right?
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: And, you know, I talked to Gino Smith after they, after they won last week and, you know, they beat Cleveland and Cleveland coming in three and one, I think it was an important
- 48:43[SPEAKER_01]: That this reminds him of Seattle and see and I think I said it in the podcast earlier this week, right So like for young guys on that team for Garrett Wilson for Braille and Allen for Kenyan Sadik for the two tackles You know member and Fashanu for David Bailey for I mean they've got like a lot of promising young players on their team
- 49:08[SPEAKER_01]: And this is like an interesting spot where I think that they could really kind of show who they are.
- 49:13[SPEAKER_01]: If they win the game, they pull even with the Patriots in the AFC East.
- 49:17[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not sure a lot of people know that.
- 49:19[SPEAKER_01]: So, you know, I did the Patriots are rightfully favored here.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_01]: I did the Patriots win the game.
- 49:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think if the Jets can take it into the fourth quarter, you know.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_01]: We start talking about them, getting increasingly dangerous over the course of the year because they're so young that the roster should continue to send as the year goes on.
- 49:38[SPEAKER_00]: David Bailey had a good game last week, a good game last year.
- 49:41[SPEAKER_00]: Three sacks, right?
- 49:41[SPEAKER_00]: Lots and three sacks in a gloomy weather game, but in trying to, like, an answer to the R.V.L.
- 49:48[SPEAKER_01]: Reese thing, wasn't it?
- 49:49[SPEAKER_01]: Like a lot of people were saying definitely heard that.
- 49:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 49:54[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll say this.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_00]: Drake May does have one of the longest snap to throw times in the NFL and there's some banged up situations going on on New England's offensive lines.
- 50:02[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see it again David Bailey.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_00]: Sorry like congratulations for last week.
- 50:07[SPEAKER_00]: Now go do it 90 more times and you could be defensive rookie of the year.
- 50:11[SPEAKER_00]: Speaking of our velvety news, New Orleans Saints at the New York Giants, the Saints albiter in a bit of a free fall here, and it's never a comfortable situation when your owner goes to one of those rubber chicken dinners and starts saying that- I think it was a luncheon, actually, just to be at.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_01]: We are about average chicken lunch.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think it was a dinner.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was a luncheon.
- 50:32[SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully New Orleans doesn't.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still not completely clear on the differences between a luncheon and a luncheon.
- 50:37[SPEAKER_01]: Do you know?
- 50:40[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a luncheon has like T after work like there's an T assortment.
- 50:43[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I'm not sure.
- 50:44[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to have to consult Emily on that.
- 50:47[SPEAKER_01]: I'll text her now and she if she gives me a different answer by you just give me like shut up.
- 50:51[SPEAKER_01]: Please stop talking to me.
- 50:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, she's like, you know, handling someone with the kids at school.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm some texting or what is my difference between a luncheon and luncheon.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_00]: I need to go for work.
- 51:03[SPEAKER_00]: So this one I think is it's the worst time for New Orleans for the Giants to come in because the Giants are playing free.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think they've caught a little bit of a spark in the wind that's created a little bit of a fire with James Winston and Malik neighbors.
- 51:16[SPEAKER_00]: It's going to really test New Orleans secondary.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_00]: New Orleans is banged up.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_00]: They can't run the football the way that they want to.
- 51:22[SPEAKER_00]: And again, it's when your owner comes out and says this ain't good enough.
- 51:25[SPEAKER_00]: Some coaches rise to the occasion there and some coaches start to look at it as like
- 51:30[SPEAKER_00]: The sky is falling.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_00]: I got to do something different.
- 51:32[SPEAKER_00]: I got to get out of my fun.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_00]: This is the real.
- 51:34[SPEAKER_00]: This is the first real.
- 51:35[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, Kevin more.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see what you got moment.
- 51:38[SPEAKER_01]: Right, and like this is like I think the the sign that the the honeymoon is over there.
- 51:44[SPEAKER_01]: They're they're also like a little bit beat up on the offensive line.
- 51:49[SPEAKER_01]: And so with the Giants pass, which I think now is suddenly like a big big big big factor and whatever game the Giants play in.
- 51:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's like an interesting element of it too.
- 52:01[SPEAKER_01]: It's just interesting to me because the same sort of sort of that team where you don't want to put it all in the quarterback.
- 52:08[SPEAKER_01]: And Tyler Chuck has not been great of late, but like it started sort of starts to become like either the Saints are taking one in the draft next year or Tyler Chuck plays well enough to take them out of the range to take one.
- 52:22[SPEAKER_01]: You know, he sort of has it in his own hands.
- 52:25[SPEAKER_01]: And so look like I picked the Saints to win the NFC South.
- 52:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is sort of the game where we figure out if they're still capable of it.
- 52:35[SPEAKER_01]: The giants, I mean, I, again, that looks like a hardball team to me.
- 52:39[SPEAKER_01]: They're in first place.
- 52:40[SPEAKER_01]: They're three one and one, despite everything, despite losing a dart, despite losing Brian Burns.
- 52:46[SPEAKER_01]: Um, if they can get a fourth win, and then maybe they lose next week to Texans, now you're four two and one going into the buy, um, yeah, this place would go batshit.
- 53:00[SPEAKER_01]: Batch it and You're kidding he'd be pretty excited to what he go batch it.
- 53:05[SPEAKER_00]: He's excited and we just bought it's actually sitting upstairs my
- 53:10[SPEAKER_00]: My wife, we're going to, we're going to surprise her with some, my son wanted to buy her giant skiers, so they could all wear it together on Sundays, which I thought was cute, so we're going to surprise her with that in a little bit.
- 53:21[SPEAKER_00]: How about that?
- 53:22[SPEAKER_00]: Like 20,000 people know that before she does.
- 53:25[SPEAKER_00]: There you go.
- 53:26[SPEAKER_00]: Which is pretty funny.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_00]: Look at Arizona, Los Angeles, Albert.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_00]: I mean,
- 53:32[SPEAKER_01]: I don't get right game.
- 53:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, this is a get right game.
- 53:35[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, the cardinals are down and out.
- 53:38[SPEAKER_00]: Jacobi Reset had to go over to Tray McBride and explain to him like, look, I can't throw you the ball anymore, because there's two guys on you.
- 53:43[SPEAKER_00]: So it's the top situation for Arizona.
- 53:46[SPEAKER_00]: It's a schematic, difficult game for Michael Flore that he's got to break out of this funk and try to find ways to generate open looks for Jacobi Reset.
- 53:54[SPEAKER_00]: They said they're not in Carson back territory yet, but
- 53:57[SPEAKER_01]: maybe this game changes, and this one to me is sort of an interesting look and this test for the Rams not and if they're going to win, they're going to win.
- 54:03[SPEAKER_01]: But it's more to me, like how do they look against a coach that knows them, right?
- 54:10[SPEAKER_01]: Like Michael Flore is going to be able to help his staff, help the thing you'll hack it on the offensive side of the ball, help Nick Rollis on the defensive side of the ball.
- 54:18[SPEAKER_01]: He's going to be able to help them with like here's what you're looking for, right?
- 54:21[SPEAKER_01]: So this is like I think a chance for the Rams,
- 54:25[SPEAKER_01]: to show who they are, but I think they're also going to be tested in an interesting way.
- 54:29[SPEAKER_01]: Just in that like that is a division team that already knew you well that has actually challenged you over the years to some degree and now they're coming in with the staff that's going to be fully equipped with who you are, right?
- 54:43[SPEAKER_01]: Like so just an interesting challenge from that standpoint.
- 54:46[SPEAKER_01]: Like that's where I think we can we'll be able to kind of parse.
- 54:50[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, what is a 42 to 10
- 54:56[SPEAKER_01]: You know a 24 17 win me, you know, I think that that's where you're probably looking at it for the Rams for sure and to round it out.
- 55:04[SPEAKER_00]: We have the bills at the Raiders.
- 55:06[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not
- 55:07[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not.
- 55:08[SPEAKER_01]: Do we miss the chargers in the chiefs?
- 55:10[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, we did.
- 55:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, really quickly.
- 55:13[SPEAKER_00]: We'll do both.
- 55:14[SPEAKER_00]: At Kansas City, Albert, I don't think it's a surprise that well, it's not a surprise, but it's interesting.
- 55:22[SPEAKER_00]: I've been talking to your good buddy Brian Hoyer a little bit for something that's kind of come out down the road, but I think the attention to this idea, and I'm really fascinated by it.
- 55:36[SPEAKER_00]: Shane Steiken had him operating a little bit more like Drew Breeze, where it was, know where you're going with the ball, hit the checkdown.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_00]: Know where you're going with the ball, hit the checkdown.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_00]: Jill and Barty came, and that was a Drew Breeze offense, right?
- 55:51[SPEAKER_00]: That was a pre-snap reader offense.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_00]: And what's changed over the years with these coordinators that Jim Harbaugh's brought in for Justin Herbert is, it's all post snap stuff.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_00]: And for some quarterbacks, you can handle both.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_00]: Matt Stafford is a hybrid.
- 56:04[SPEAKER_00]: He's brilliant.
- 56:05[SPEAKER_00]: He can do both of those things.
- 56:07[SPEAKER_00]: Just in Herbert, may just need a coach who is more aligned with the presnap stuff.
- 56:14[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, some quarterbacks just mentally cannot get to the point where they snap the ball and they still don't
- 56:24[SPEAKER_00]: And right, I'll bring this up and the McDaniel offense is like, is very much post snap, it's right.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's like, there's an answer there for you.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_01]: You have to find it.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, if you follow what I'm teaching you, you will get to this white Brock party is so good.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 56:40[SPEAKER_01]: If you, like, like, like, and that's why I think the college experience was so important with party coming out was like, he had seen so much because he had played so much in college that, like, he's able to process all of that.
- 56:53[SPEAKER_01]: And he's able to say, okay, I've seen this before.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_01]: I know what this is.
- 56:55[SPEAKER_01]: I know what that is.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_01]: And then it's like, okay, like, now apply your off our offense to it.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, like, now I know what this is.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_01]: My answers here boom the balls out.
- 57:04[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 57:05[SPEAKER_01]: That's the McDaniel offense.
- 57:07[SPEAKER_00]: But it's a lot less like, hey, I'm already under center.
- 57:12[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is how they're going to shift.
- 57:13[SPEAKER_00]: I think this is how they're going to move.
- 57:16[SPEAKER_00]: And I got a 90% sure I'm throwing there.
- 57:19[SPEAKER_00]: If that's gone, I look at the checkdown.
- 57:22[SPEAKER_00]: If that's gone, I'm throwing the ball away.
- 57:24[SPEAKER_00]: And the difference between those two things is monumental.
- 57:28[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll just say this.
- 57:29[SPEAKER_00]: And you know,
- 57:31[SPEAKER_00]: People laughed when it got brought up a little bit this week.
- 57:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not laughing.
- 57:36[SPEAKER_00]: Who's the one coach on that Charger staff who has more experience than any quarterback that we know at being a master of a more pre-stap oriented offense?
- 57:48[SPEAKER_00]: Adam Gayson, Peyton Manning.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_00]: Just saying.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_01]: And that's really interesting.
- 57:55[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and forever.
- 57:56[SPEAKER_00]: And it's like, oh, Adam Gays, Adam Gays, ha, ha, ha, ha.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's interesting, too.
- 58:00[SPEAKER_01]: Like, you know, Adam He's standing like, coach for the dolphins, but it, but it, but it explains a lot of like paid manning, but it was like, if you think about paid manning in that offense, they had, they had very little motion.
- 58:11[SPEAKER_01]: They didn't move the receivers to different spots.
- 58:13[SPEAKER_01]: The reason why
- 58:14[SPEAKER_01]: and I was entirely paid, it's the same as Aaron Rogers.
- 58:18[SPEAKER_01]: I want to be able to see the defense.
- 58:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm moving the pieces around to figure out what they're doing.
- 58:23[SPEAKER_01]: Like it's more important for me to be looking at the defense than operating our offense.
- 58:28[SPEAKER_01]: Because I'm going to use the defense against, and that's high level quarterbacking, you know, like that's hard to do, but yeah, that's actually really interesting.
- 58:36[SPEAKER_00]: Um, don't laugh at Adam Gaysman.
- 58:38[SPEAKER_00]: The Jets will ruin anybody's reputation.
- 58:40[SPEAKER_00]: If Sam Darnell can be great outside the Jets, why can't Adam Gaysman?
- 58:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, I'm 100% for it.
- 58:45[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and I think I'm going to be proven right on this.
- 58:47[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, last buffalo at Las Vegas, I'll just end with this Albert.
- 58:51[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think this is a Josh Allen runs over the Raiders game.
- 58:54[SPEAKER_00]: I think we really see what Kubiax guys have here coming off the Schneide after getting blown out by New England.
- 59:01[SPEAKER_00]: I think that this Raiders defense is oddly athletic enough to put Josh Allen in his place.
- 59:06[SPEAKER_00]: And I don't think any team is going to play the bills quite like the Rams did last week where they just allowed Allen to run all over them.
- 59:12[SPEAKER_00]: Allen's going through some stuff.
- 59:14[SPEAKER_00]: He said that with his throwing motion, it doesn't look right.
- 59:17[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Raiders force a couple turnovers in this game at least make it interesting.
- 59:20[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I think the Raiders pass the offense they're back in, their secondary isn't great.
- 59:27[SPEAKER_01]: I think this is like, and then we'll see if DJM more plays.
- 59:31[SPEAKER_01]: But I felt like coming in, this is as balanced a group that,
- 59:36[SPEAKER_01]: Allen has had around him, right?
- 59:37[SPEAKER_01]: Like there's a very, I think there's just depth and there's balance to the group.
- 59:41[SPEAKER_01]: They have skill position wise.
- 59:42[SPEAKER_01]: I know that hasn't been the narrative, but DJ Moore, Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kinkade, Dawson Knox, Heon Coleman, James Cook, like they're all different player.
- 59:51[SPEAKER_01]: Ty Johnson, like they're all different players, like it looks at least some paper like the pieces all fit together.
- 59:58[SPEAKER_01]: They should be able to, they should be able to use that to exploit the Raiders, the way New England did last week.
- 1:00:05[SPEAKER_01]: So to me, yeah, it's a test of Josh Allen.
- 1:00:08[SPEAKER_01]: To me, it's also a test of their skill talent, right?
- 1:00:11[SPEAKER_01]: Like can their skill talent create a scenario where those completions are there for Josh Allen?
- 1:00:17[SPEAKER_01]: and they're able to move the ball effectively without having to use Josh Allen as a runner.
- 1:00:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like this is the game to do it because it's a good team, not a great team they're playing against.
- 1:00:27[SPEAKER_01]: Like I think the Raiders are an okay team and it's a team with a deficiency in that specific area.
- 1:00:34[SPEAKER_00]: Let's see what you do about it, Joe Brady, because everybody needs to evolve and evolve again.
- 1:00:40[SPEAKER_00]: Just like we always do tonight's a great one too.
- 1:00:44[SPEAKER_01]: We're not getting into it, but Elite, Elite, Uniform game.
- 1:00:49[SPEAKER_01]: Tonight, both teams were in their throwbacks, Denver, and hop off your TV.
- 1:00:55[SPEAKER_01]: And yeah, I mean, I think Seattle coming back off of,
- 1:01:00[SPEAKER_01]: like again, like a high level prize fight, you know, like that was just freaking out standing football on Sunday.
- 1:01:07[SPEAKER_01]: The Broncos, you know, coming back off the slug fast, like it'll be interesting to see what these teams look like on very, very short rest.
- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_00]: I know those coaches in Seattle were burning the midnight oil, we'll see what happens.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you as always for listening to the MMQB podcast join us on Monday morning as we recap all the action for week six ahead.
