- 0:00Speaker 1: Nobody, and I do mean nobody. Does it like your
- 0:04Speaker 1: early morning praise party. I am a Sherry Mackie. It
- 0:08Speaker 1: is time right now for today's word. When God closes
- 0:13Speaker 1: the door. When God closes the door, Revelation three and
- 0:19Speaker 1: seven says, these are the words of Him who is
- 0:22Speaker 1: holy and true, who holds the key of David. What
- 0:26Speaker 1: he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts
- 0:31Speaker 1: no one can open. You know, one of the hardest
- 0:34Speaker 1: things in life is accepting the ending of a relationship,
- 0:38Speaker 1: whether it's a friendship that slowly fades, a romantic relationship
- 0:42Speaker 1: that unexpectedly ends, or a connection you thought would last forever.
- 0:47Speaker 1: The pain can feel personal questions rise up. What did
- 0:52Speaker 1: I do wrong? Why didn't it work? Why would God
- 0:55Speaker 1: allow this? But Revelation reminds us of something so powerful.
- 1:02Speaker 1: God holds the key. He is the one who opens
- 1:05Speaker 1: doors no one can shut, and he also shuts doors
- 1:09Speaker 1: no one can open. That means every relationship in your
- 1:13Speaker 1: life has passed through his hands first. Nothing is caught
- 1:17Speaker 1: him by surprise. Sometimes we fight to keep doors open that.
- 1:21Speaker 2: God has already closed.
- 1:23Speaker 1: We replay conversations trying to fix what's broken, or hold
- 1:27Speaker 1: on to memories longer than we should. But when God
- 1:30Speaker 1: shuts the door, no amount of effort can force it
- 1:33Speaker 1: back open. And that's not punishment, that's protection. See, there
- 1:38Speaker 1: are relationships that are assignments, and there are relationships that
- 1:43Speaker 1: are alignments. Some people are sick to help you for
- 1:47Speaker 1: a season. They are like scaffolding around a building under construction.
- 1:52Speaker 1: The scaffolding is necessary while the structure is going up.
- 1:56Speaker 1: It provides support and stability. But once the building is
- 2:01Speaker 1: strong enough, the scaffolding, y'all, has to come down. If
- 2:05Speaker 1: it stays too long, it blocks the view of what
- 2:07Speaker 1: the building was meant to become well. In the same way,
- 2:12Speaker 1: some people were a part of your growth process, but
- 2:15Speaker 1: they are not a part of your destiny. If they remained,
- 2:19Speaker 1: they might limit your expansion, your confidence. You're calling what
- 2:24Speaker 1: feels like loss may actually be liberation. Trusting God is necessary, y'all.
- 2:32Speaker 1: We gotta trust Him in necessary endings, and that requires maturity.
- 2:38Speaker 1: It means saying, Lord, I don't understand this, and it
- 2:41Speaker 1: does hurt, but I trust that you see what I
- 2:44Speaker 1: cannot see. It means believing that if he allowed someone
- 2:47Speaker 1: to exit your life, it's because he has someone better
- 2:51Speaker 1: suited for where you are going. Divine connections are often
- 2:55Speaker 1: waiting on the other side of difficult adies. So instead
- 2:59Speaker 1: of chasing closed doors, began preparing for open ones.
- 3:03Speaker 2: Instead of grieving what ended.
- 3:05Speaker 1: Forever, ask God what new beginning is forming. He is
- 3:09Speaker 1: not removing people to leave you empty. He is rearranging
- 3:13Speaker 1: your life to bring you into greater purpose, greater peace,
- 3:16Speaker 1: and greater fulfillment. When God closes a door, it's not rejection,
- 3:21Speaker 1: it's read direction. And when he opens the right door,
- 3:26Speaker 1: no person, no mistake, and no circumstance can shut it. Father,
- 3:32Speaker 1: thank you for being the keeper of closed doors in
- 3:35Speaker 1: my life. God, help us to trust when relationships end
- 3:40Speaker 1: and not to cling to what you released. Give us
- 3:43Speaker 1: peace and the transitions and faith when the connections are coming.
- 3:48Speaker 2: God, you are preparing.
- 3:50Speaker 1: For us something new, something amazing, And we believe you're
- 3:55Speaker 1: ordering our steps and surrounding us with the right people
- 3:58Speaker 1: for our destiny. And Jesus, that's your word for today.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Take it applied to your everyday life and you continue
- 4:04Speaker 1: to be encouraged and inspired. Is your early budding praise party.
- 4:07Speaker 1: I am shary man my life. God, help us to
- 4:11Speaker 1: trust when relationships end.
- 4:12Speaker 2: And not to cling to what you released.
- 4:15Speaker 1: Give us peace and the transitions, and faith when the
- 4:19Speaker 1: connections are coming.
- 4:21Speaker 2: God, you are preparing.
- 4:23Speaker 1: For us something new, something amazing, and we believe you're
- 4:28Speaker 1: ordering our steps and surrounding us with the right people
- 4:31Speaker 1: for our destiny. In Jesus' name, that's your word for today.
- 4:34Speaker 1: Take it applied to your everyday life, and you continue
- 4:37Speaker 1: to be encouraged and inspired. Is your early budding praise party.
