- 0:30Hey, you guys welcome. Happy Monday.
- 0:34You are in the right place. If you are on the workshop how
- 0:37to become a confident decision maker, I don't know how long it
- 0:41takes for once I push start for you guys to be able to come on.
- 0:45So let's start with some technical things before we get
- 0:47started. Can you guys hear and see me OK?
- 0:51If you can let me know by putting up an emoji or putting
- 0:55inside the chat that the audio and the visual is working great.
- 0:59I want to start there first. OK, perfect.
- 1:03Thanks, Ty. OK, let's start out with I'm
- 1:06going to introduce myself. My name is Janessa.
- 1:08I am a life and a flight nurse coach.
- 1:12I help people declutter their brains, manage their mind and
- 1:16create really big things for themselves by confidently making
- 1:20decisions and showing up with confidence in every aspect of
- 1:22their life. I also coach nurses and medics
- 1:25who want to get into flight nursing.
- 1:28I have been a nurse for the last 16 years and seven of those
- 1:32years I I spent as a flight nurse.
- 1:34And so I have a whole nother program called the Flight Prep
- 1:36Academy where I help you get hired into flight no matter
- 1:40where you are starting. I want to start out by just
- 1:45giving you a little bit of details about how today is going
- 1:47to go in this next hour. I see some of you guys in the
- 1:51chat, but just to make sure I want to have this interactive
- 1:55conversation as well. So in the chat box, if you guys
- 1:58can just put your name and maybe where you're from.
- 2:01And if you want to go one step further, what you're hoping to
- 2:04learn from this workshop and everybody should be able to see
- 2:09everybody's answers as well. I'm going to be looking at the
- 2:11chat box and be utilizing that as I'm doing this workshop as
- 2:15well. And then there is AQ and a box
- 2:22down at the bottom as well. Let me know if you guys can see
- 2:26that. I'm going to give some time for
- 2:29questions and answers at the end of this workshop as well.
- 2:33So if you guys can put your questions inside that box and
- 2:38then I will be able to be able to flagged and see those at the
- 2:41end as well. So as you guys are doing that,
- 2:45I'm going to just go ahead and get started.
- 2:47I also want to let you guys know, if you're unfamiliar with
- 2:51Zoom, and I know that sometimes the icons at the bottom can
- 2:54change a little bit as well. There is a reaction button down
- 2:58at the bottom. If you click that, there's a
- 3:00raise hand option. What today's workshop is going
- 3:04to look like is I'm going to teach a little bit at the
- 3:06beginning, probably 10, maybe 15 minutes at the most.
- 3:10I'm going to offer you guys some questions and then I'm going to
- 3:13open it up for live coaching and to workshop the decision that
- 3:16you're making. And the questions that I put
- 3:19down here are going to help you kind of with this decision as
- 3:23well. But we're going to workshop and
- 3:24get some real live coaching on it.
- 3:27So that's where you're going to want to push the raise hand
- 3:30button down at the bottom. And I'll bring you up as a
- 3:32panelist and we'll get going with the coaching.
- 3:34Then at the end, I'm going to talk to you about how we can
- 3:36maybe take this work a little bit deeper and then have time to
- 3:39answer any questions that you guys have as well.
- 3:42Great. Thanks for joining us.
- 3:44Rachel from Southern Illinois. I don't know about you guys, but
- 3:47the weather in California is kind of crazy.
- 3:50This year's been a little bit different.
- 3:51It's usually like sunny seventies, 80s by now, but it is
- 3:55cold and dreary. Today.
- 3:58We've had a lot of rain, which is great because I live right in
- 4:01the middle of California where we have a lot of AG, so we need
- 4:03all of the rainfall. But it's like really weird to be
- 4:07the end of April and it to be cold and dreary.
- 4:10So I know you guys are experiencing some weather
- 4:13changes in your state too. So thanks for joining us,
- 4:15Rachel, seeing you in there. Hopefully you guys can see
- 4:18everybody else's comments as well.
- 4:22All right, you guys ready. You came to this workshop
- 4:25because you want to become a confident decision maker.
- 4:28I'm going to take you through an easy process to be a confident
- 4:32decision maker. This is the process that I have
- 4:36used both as a flight nurse and as a nurse and in my everyday
- 4:41life I consider myself a very confident and decision maker and
- 4:45I'm going to tell you why. I'm going to walk you through a
- 4:47really easy three-step process and then I'm going to offer you
- 4:50questions that Ioffer myself on the daily to be really good at
- 4:54this. And if at any time you guys have
- 4:58questions or comments, put them in the chat and put them in the
- 5:01question box. I want to make this as
- 5:02interactive as possible and I'm going to be watching that
- 5:04throughout as well. So let's talk about becoming a
- 5:09confident decision maker. First, you have to establish why
- 5:14making decisions is so important to you.
- 5:19And this is all in the question. Sometime I think we, we tell
- 5:23ourselves, oh, we have to be really good at making decisions.
- 5:26But the better question you want to ask yourself is why do you,
- 5:30why is making decisions so important to you?
- 5:33And I know that's kind of an odd question, but it's like, also,
- 5:36why do you desire to be a good decision maker?
- 5:39So think about that for a second.
- 5:41Why do you desire to be a good decision maker for me?
- 5:45My reasoning. And you feel free to borrow any
- 5:47of mine or see what comes up for you as we're talking about this.
- 5:51I want to clear things off my plate quicker.
- 5:54I want to be able to move to the next thing.
- 5:56I have so many things going on in my life.
- 5:58I have 4 kids, I have a business I'm running.
- 6:01I have over 150 clients. Like I want to be able to move
- 6:05to the next thing confidently. And so when I make decisions, I
- 6:09can clear off my plate. I don't want to spend time in
- 6:12confusion, overwhelm and indulging in my thoughts.
- 6:16If you guys are there with a lot of these decisions, that means
- 6:20you're quote, UN quote, spending time and indulging.
- 6:22Our brain likes to tell us that it's a good use of time to be
- 6:26confused and overwhelmed, but that's just spending time and
- 6:30energy indulging in some of these thoughts And we're and
- 6:33that's it like a key thing to you that you're not making
- 6:36decisions. So I want to be a good decision
- 6:39maker because I'm also trying to create really big things for
- 6:42myself. I'm, I have really big goals and
- 6:44I'm setting a higher standard for myself.
- 6:46So I to, to make decisions quickly means that I need to
- 6:51continue to push myself to do that and to continue to make
- 6:54those decisions and clear them off my plate.
- 6:57Another reason why you want to confidently and quickly make
- 7:02decisions is you don't want to have open decisions.
- 7:06You don't have that open decision loop like I just talked
- 7:09about because it takes so much time and energy for us.
- 7:14We think that it doesn't. We tell ourselves, you know
- 7:17what, I'm going to think about this later.
- 7:19I'm going to decide on it later. But we are, it's constantly in
- 7:23the back of our mind that we haven't decided yet.
- 7:25And it does take up time and it does take up energy.
- 7:27And I'm going to talk about that in just a second.
- 7:29What that actually does for us. Every decision that we leave
- 7:33open will give us energy. We'll take away our energy
- 7:38because we're going to dwell on it and we're going to sit on it
- 7:40in some way, shape or form. Or when we tell ourselves, I'm
- 7:43going to decide that later, still leaves it open.
- 7:47I want you guys to know that the exact amount of time it takes
- 7:52for you to make a decision is the exact amount of time you
- 7:55give yourself. So in this previous, previous
- 7:58example, how I told your, how I said, sometimes we tell
- 8:01ourselves, I'll make it tomorrow or I'll make it next week.
- 8:05Notice when you tell yourself and you give yourself a time
- 8:08frame, it will take that long to do it.
- 8:11So if we don't allot ourselves that time, or we at least give
- 8:15ourselves half the time and say, hey, I'm going to decide this by
- 8:18the end of the day, that's how we decide things really quickly.
- 8:21Don't give yourself an allotted amount of time because however
- 8:24much time you give yourself, that is how long it will take.
- 8:28And we lie to ourselves, right? Like we tell ourselves, oh,
- 8:30we'll think about it later, but we're still constantly thinking
- 8:33about it. If you're not thinking about it,
- 8:34you're still kind of dreaming about it too as well.
- 8:37Or thinking about it at night or causing a little bit of anxious
- 8:40anxiety about leaving that loop open.
- 8:45And I really think it's possible.
- 8:47I see this happen to my clients all the time, where you leave
- 8:50this loop open of indulging in indecision.
- 8:53And our brain likes to tell us it's very useful.
- 8:57Our brain like to say, oh, this is a very useful amount of our
- 9:00time to be confused and stuck and overwhelmed.
- 9:03We should be thinking about everything we're worrying about
- 9:05when it's not useful, it's not a useful amount of time or energy.
- 9:10And here's the thing about daily that we don't think about
- 9:13because some of the things are like very habitual, like
- 9:16brushing our teeth or washing our face or taking a shower.
- 9:20Those are still tiny decisions that we're making every day and
- 9:23we're faced with hundreds of them.
- 9:25So the key to a lot of this is deciding ahead of time, why you
- 9:30desire to make decisions and doing it in a timely matter.
- 9:34And time is the only thing that we really can't get back.
- 9:37So sparing ourself that time, giving ourself that energy and
- 9:42that time back is going to be key here.
- 9:45So today we're going to get really clear of your process of
- 9:49decision making. So I kind of want to open up
- 9:52some pathways for you and tell you 3 simple steps that I kind
- 9:56of go through. And honestly, I've applied this
- 9:59as a nurse. I've been a critical care nurse
- 10:01my whole career. And with light nursing, there
- 10:03was high pressurized decisions and quick decisions I had to
- 10:06make. So you can really ask yourself,
- 10:09how do I apply this to high pressurized decisions?
- 10:13How do I apply this to even simple daily decisions?
- 10:16How do I apply this to big goals or big standards that I'm trying
- 10:19to create for myself this year or next year?
- 10:22And I really think that these are three really simple steps
- 10:26that you can integrate starting today in this process.
- 10:29So I want you guys to 1st be thinking about the first
- 10:33question. Why do you desire to be a good
- 10:36decision maker? And then I want you to think
- 10:39about what's the decision right now on the top of your mind that
- 10:44you know that you need to make but you haven't made yet.
- 10:47And then I want you from that lens of whatever that is that
- 10:51you know that you haven't made yet, but you want to make.
- 10:54Let's walk through these steps as I'm talking about them.
- 10:57So I'm going to take the next like 5-10 minutes to walk
- 10:59through these steps. And then I'm going to offer you
- 11:01questions. We're going to workshop the
- 11:02decisions you guys have on step one out of the three simple
- 11:06steps to make any decision for me is 1 super thinking.
- 11:11Now, I didn't really know what super thinking meant and I
- 11:14wasn't really good at this until I became a coach.
- 11:17But super thinking is really being able to let go of all the
- 11:24distractions that are currently going on for you.
- 11:26And I do think we're in a time of an age of a time where it's
- 11:31really hard to do this because we have lots of distractions.
- 11:34We have this little phone that can do all these things for us.
- 11:38So super thinking is going to require you to have time and
- 11:42space away from all of those things.
- 11:44For me, I know my best super thinking is when I walk, a lot
- 11:49of times I'm not listening to any of my phone, anything on my
- 11:52phone. Sometimes I'm listening to
- 11:53podcasts. But super thinking is for me
- 11:56when I'm distraction free and I'm just thinking about my
- 11:59thoughts. So what I ask myself without
- 12:02these distractions is it opens myself a possibility of what do
- 12:07I really want? So I ask myself, what is it that
- 12:10I really want? And I allow myself to want what
- 12:13I want. And you guys, this was really
- 12:16hard for me. And I know for some of you this
- 12:18is really hard for you too, to just give yourself permission to
- 12:21say if I could have whatever I want and I had any possibility
- 12:28of that, what would it be? And you would be surprised what
- 12:32comes up for you. And I know that this might be
- 12:33hard because this is a hard question to ask myself at the
- 12:36beginning, but super thinking without distractions allows you
- 12:40to really say, OK, what do I want?
- 12:42And if I could have a possibility of anything that I
- 12:47wanted without like thinking about the circumstances or the
- 12:50money or the time or the energy, what would that be?
- 12:53And just allow yourself to come to that.
- 12:55For me, I really focus on what is my gut telling me in this
- 13:00moment of what I really want. And for you, it might sound a
- 13:04little different when you ask yourself what is it that I want?
- 13:07Honestly. So that's step one.
- 13:10Super thinking without distractions.
- 13:12Step 2, Sometimes we get stuck so much in the decision that
- 13:18we're presently making and all the obstacles and all the
- 13:21circumstances and all the things coming up that it's hard to
- 13:25think beyond that. So in Step 2, I'm driven by
- 13:29thinking about what do I want for my future?
- 13:32What do I want for my future goals?
- 13:35So in order to do this, I look beyond the present and I look
- 13:41far enough away that I'm not still stuck in my current
- 13:45present obstacles or the moment that I'm in.
- 13:49So I ask myself, where do I see myself in one year?
- 13:55And sometimes that's not far enough.
- 13:57Sometimes I'll say, what do I, where do I see myself?
- 13:59Like if I could have anything, where do I see myself in five
- 14:02years with this decision? And then when I can get to that,
- 14:07then I say, OK, from that person in five years of what I want,
- 14:13what is the wisdom that that future me would tell me in this
- 14:17very obstacle or this decision or in this moment?
- 14:21Now I'm going to give you guys an example because I know
- 14:23thinking future is different for a lot of you guys.
- 14:26We always want to look back because when we look back, it's
- 14:29like what we know, right? It's our experiences.
- 14:31So our brain tries to tell us, OK, let's look back to see if
- 14:33we're capable of it. But the problem with looking
- 14:36back is then we're, we're limited by what we've done in
- 14:39the past, which isn't true. We, we are able to experience
- 14:43and create whatever we want. And so we need to look from the
- 14:46future. So I'm going to give you an
- 14:47example of of how to do this. So when I started nursing
- 14:51school, I knew I always wanted to be a flight nurse.
- 14:54Like that was my number one goal from the beginning of nursing
- 14:57school. So because I knew early on, I
- 15:02knew I wanted to get hired in an IC or ER because I knew I wanted
- 15:05to go to the critical care route to get me into flight nursing.
- 15:08So because of that, I didn't spend time looking at Med surg
- 15:12or any other department or stair stepping.
- 15:15I was like, I want to go all into critical care because I
- 15:17want the quickest step that's going to get me to flight.
- 15:19So I just didn't spend time and energy looking at other
- 15:21departments. I knew as a new grad I wanted to
- 15:23get hired. So I just really spent energy
- 15:27focusing on what would help me now.
- 15:30I thought to myself, OK, in five years when I'm a flight nurse,
- 15:33what's the best experience that I myself and want to have to be
- 15:36able to set me up for success? And that's how I decided to go
- 15:39the ICU route. And you don't have to go ICU,
- 15:43you could go ERICU. But that's how I knew I was
- 15:45going to create success as a flight nurse for me.
- 15:47So I really asked myself, in five years from the flight
- 15:51nurse, me who's already a flight nurse, which lane do I want to
- 15:55go in as far as critical care? And I got wisdom from her.
- 16:00So that's how you can look at like that's an example of a
- 16:03professional goal where you're looking at what's your future
- 16:06professional goal. Go to that person who already
- 16:09has that now it has achieved it and ask him or her, what's the
- 16:14wisdom they would give you in this decision?
- 16:16How would they what, what's the wisdom they would tell you in
- 16:18this decision that you're trying to decide currently?
- 16:21I'm going to give you an example of a, of a, another personal
- 16:25example for myself. So after I got certified as a
- 16:29life coach, I, my business kind of took off and I was like
- 16:32really helping people and I really loved doing it.
- 16:35And there came a point where I had already gone part time as a
- 16:39flight nurse, then per diem as a flight nurse.
- 16:41And my business continued to grow and I was helping more
- 16:43people and coaching more people. And I was like, do I hold on to
- 16:47my flight nurse job as a nurse like or do I retire as a nurse
- 16:51and go all in as a life coach before I had really experienced
- 16:55it or done it? And I was like, what do I really
- 16:58want in the next five years? And I said in the next 5 years I
- 17:01really want to be coaching people on their brain, their
- 17:05mind, manage it, management and helping them create whatever
- 17:08they want in this world. And so I went to the future me
- 17:12of five years and said, OK, future me five years, I'm a life
- 17:15coach. This is what I really want.
- 17:17Give me the wisdom of how I decide on this choice.
- 17:20Do I retire from nursing and go all in or do I stay on this and
- 17:23stair step? And that five year life coach me
- 17:27was the one who helped me make the decision to retire
- 17:30completely from nursing and go all in on being a life coach.
- 17:34And that decision got me here. And so those are two examples of
- 17:39really going to the future you asking yourself what you want,
- 17:43what's that outcome and then getting wisdom from him or her.
- 17:47So I hope that's helpful for Step 2.
- 17:49Step 2 is going to the future you and getting wisdom.
- 17:53OK, last simple step. Step three.
- 17:58I know this sounds simple but sometimes this is the hardest
- 18:01thing. Step 3 is committing to going
- 18:05all in. And what this means and how I
- 18:10explain it to my clients and in my programs and in my one-on-one
- 18:13coaching is being willing to burn the boat down.
- 18:17Now I'm going to tell you what that means.
- 18:20What happens is when we create big goals and we, quote UN
- 18:24quote, go to the island in this lifeboat, we get to the new
- 18:28island, which is our new goal. Some people like to just hold on
- 18:32to this lifeboat and say, OK, I want to see if this new island's
- 18:37going to work out first. Because if it doesn't work out,
- 18:39I want to have one foot in the lifeboat so that I can swim back
- 18:42or go back in the boat. And in this step, you got to be
- 18:46really willing to go to the island and burn that entire boat
- 18:50down and you got to let it go and you got to put both feet
- 18:53into the island and go all in with conviction.
- 18:57This is what I did when I decided to completely retire
- 19:01from nursing and go all in as a life coach.
- 19:03I burned it all down. I didn't stay per DMI, didn't
- 19:06have a side nursing job. I burned it all down and I went
- 19:09all into the island of coaching. And so I know this sounds
- 19:14simple, but this is hard for people because you want to have
- 19:18one foot in and 1 foot out, but notice what you're not doing
- 19:22when you're 1 foot in and 1 foot out.
- 19:25You're not able to access those critical thinking skills.
- 19:29So for me, when I went all in and coaching, I was like, oh,
- 19:32OK, now that I'm all in, how do I create what I want in five
- 19:36years versus being like, well, if this doesn't work out, I'm
- 19:39going to go back to this and just notice the difference of
- 19:42how you're convicted and how you access your creativity and your
- 19:46critical thinking when you are all in.
- 19:48So this goal is really simple, but it's hard to at first wrap
- 19:52your brain around is committing to burning that boat down and
- 19:55going all in with conviction. OK, one thing I want to offer
- 20:01you guys, this just came to me this morning that I felt like I
- 20:03really needed to tell you. Is if you're not making really
- 20:07big decisions constantly, your goals are not big enough.
- 20:12And I'm going to say this again, if you're not making really big
- 20:17decisions in your life constantly, your goals are not
- 20:22big enough. And so I want to offer you guys
- 20:24create really big goals for yourself and become a really
- 20:30quick, good, confident decision maker.
- 20:33An example also that I was thinking about this morning that
- 20:35I wanted to bring you is as a as a critical care nurse and
- 20:38especially as a flight nurse, I had a lot of coding patients.
- 20:43And I remember my very first code in the ICU.
- 20:47I was a tech for two years before while I was in nursing
- 20:52school before I became a nurse. And I remember my very first
- 20:54code, I was like, all the people were running in.
- 20:57I was like what is happening? And then afterwards I'm like
- 21:00what just happened? This was like a well oiled
- 21:02machine. I don't know if I could ever get
- 21:04there. And then I realized after being
- 21:11a part of these codes, at some point, I remember having an
- 21:16outer body experience and being like, OK, the codes happening, I
- 21:20don't have to be in fight or flight.
- 21:22I don't have to tell myself I don't know enough or I don't
- 21:25know what to do. I could just decide in this
- 21:27chaotic moment that I'm going to be grounded and how do I want to
- 21:32show up from groundedness? And I want you to know our brain
- 21:36does this funny thing of saying experiences just make us better
- 21:39at it, but it's not true. It's actually being willing to
- 21:43put yourself in uncomfortable situations over and over and
- 21:47over again. And the reason why I got so good
- 21:50as a nurse who could then single handedly run a code by myself
- 21:54with me and my partner, just two people, is because I put myself
- 21:58in those uncomfortable situations over and over and
- 22:00over again. It wasn't about experience.
- 22:02It was about watching myself experience the discomfort real
- 22:07time, saying OK this is a fight or flight high pressurized
- 22:10moment, how do I ground myself? And then making the decision to
- 22:14commit to thinking differently about it, to using my critical
- 22:20thinking skills, to putting myself into being grounded, to
- 22:24being calm. And as a flight nurse, the more
- 22:28chaotic the situations, the calmer I was, the more I was
- 22:32able to utilize my critical thinking skills.
- 22:35And how was that? It wasn't by experience.
- 22:38It was about practicing being uncomfortable and then raising
- 22:41my own standard and generating groundedness during it and being
- 22:45calm during it. And that's something as you
- 22:48practice this process of decision making, you will get
- 22:51better and better at, but you have to be willing to put
- 22:54yourself in uncomfortable situations and also make the
- 22:57uncomfortable decisions. Confident decisions are not
- 23:01always going to feel good. And I think sometimes that's
- 23:06what stops us from making decisions is because we think
- 23:08we're going to feel better. But being a confident decision
- 23:11maker doesn't always necessarily mean that it's going to feel
- 23:14good. It's going to require
- 23:15discomfort. The more you experience
- 23:18discomfort, the higher your standards are going to be.
- 23:21And then this is just going to become a standard of yours where
- 23:24you're like, I make really big decisions and I put myself in
- 23:27uncomfortable situations and I play at this, this, this, this
- 23:31level of, of discomfort, of pressure, of of being confident
- 23:38in how I make decisions. It also is going to require
- 23:42energy. And our brain doesn't like to
- 23:45utilize high levels of energy. It wants us to sit back.
- 23:49It wants us to be on the couch. It wants us to eat chips and
- 23:52candy and watch Netflix. So energy is going to be like
- 23:56when your brain's like, I don't want to be uncomfortable.
- 23:57I don't want to make this decision.
- 23:59I don't want to feel a certain way about this.
- 24:00I don't want to commit to burning the boat down and going
- 24:02all on the island. We have to be willing to put
- 24:05forth the energy to say, wait, I do want this.
- 24:09And this is where you tell yourself why you desire it.
- 24:11I desire it because I want to clear things off my plate and I
- 24:14want to create really big things for myself.
- 24:16Whatever it is, that's where you put that in there.
- 24:19OK, So I'm going to review the three steps.
- 24:21I know I gave you a lot, but I just want you guys to focus on
- 24:24the three steps and then I'm going to give you some questions
- 24:27in the chat. So step one, super thinking.
- 24:31Clear yourself into distractions.
- 24:33Get into super thinking. Step 2, thinking of your future
- 24:37self who's already got the results and getting wisdom from
- 24:41that version of him or her. Step 3, go to the island, burn
- 24:46the boat down, commit to the decision.
- 24:48Go all in with conviction. OK, here are the questions.
- 24:53These questions might be a little bit different than you've
- 24:56ever heard or you've ever asked yourself, but these are the five
- 25:00questions that I asked myself that helped me hit really high
- 25:03levels of thinking when I have a really big decision that I want
- 25:07to make, whether it's a time crunched one or whether it's
- 25:11just an everyday, daily decision for my life.
- 25:14OK, I'm going to put these in the chat box.
- 25:17Give me a thumbs up or let me know in the chat box if you guys
- 25:19can see these. I'm going to read through them
- 25:22too as well. OK, number one, this is the
- 25:27first question I offered you guys why you desire to be a good
- 25:29decision maker, like why you really desire it?
- 25:33Desire has been something that I've been thinking about over
- 25:35the last year. I really think, OK, thanks.
- 25:38I, I really think when you have desire, you don't need
- 25:42motivation and you don't need discipline.
- 25:43I'm going to say that again. When you tap into why you desire
- 25:47something, you do not need motivation or you do not need
- 25:50discipline. You're like, oh, I really,
- 25:53really desire to get up and work out in the morning Because I
- 25:57know when I work out in the morning, it gets my body moving,
- 26:00then it gets my brain moving and then everything can move quicker
- 26:03for me during my day. That's why I desire to work out
- 26:05in the morning versus I got to get to discipline.
- 26:08I got to get to motivate it just sometimes it's hard to get
- 26:10motivated, especially when you have a lot of life
- 26:12circumstances. So you want to tap into desire.
- 26:16Question two, what decision are you stalling on making?
- 26:21And when I ask you that, just come up with the first one.
- 26:23That's like coming up for you. What decision do you are you
- 26:26stalling on making? Three, what is not making that
- 26:31decision keeping you from? And I know this is kind of a
- 26:36funny question, but this is, this is how I asked myself, what
- 26:39is not making that decision keeping me from #4 what do I
- 26:45have to be willing to feel to make this decision?
- 26:49Sometimes making a hard decision, like I said, require
- 26:51some negative emotions. Sometimes it's going to require
- 26:54me to feel discomfort. Sometimes it's going to require
- 26:57me to feel a little embarrassed. Sometimes it's going to require
- 27:00me to maybe feel disappointed, like I'm disappointing someone
- 27:03else or I'm disappointing myself.
- 27:05So what, what is a feeling I have to be willing to feel to
- 27:09make this decision? And then the last one is who is
- 27:14the future you who is really good at making decisions?
- 27:18So if we could just Fast forward to the 10 out of 10, you who's
- 27:23like, I'm 10 out of 10, such a confident and really good
- 27:27decision maker in your mind, who how are you as that person?
- 27:32Really think about that. Now, you don't have to answer
- 27:35all of these. These are just ones that come up
- 27:37for me when I'm thinking about how to make a decision, a big
- 27:41decision, a small decision, but I want you guys to utilize these
- 27:45five questions to bring them on to workshop and coach right now.
- 27:51So in this part right here, and I don't want you guys to be
- 27:55nervous. I want you to know I got you and
- 27:57I know some of you guys on already working with me.
- 27:59So you know what coaching looks like I got you and whatever you
- 28:03bring. So how this is going to work is
- 28:06I'm going to have you guys push the raise your hand button down
- 28:11on the React. And I will bring on anybody who
- 28:16wants to workshop either these questions or workshop if they're
- 28:21like stumped on any of these questions or workshop the
- 28:23current decision that they are trying to make.
- 28:27So who would like to get some clarity on their decision?
- 28:36Raise your hands. And also those of you guys who
- 28:44work with me know I love awkward silence.
- 28:48So I will wait if someone, I know all of you guys on today
- 28:52have a decision that you're facing.
- 28:54So I will wait and give you guys plenty of time to have the
- 28:57courage to raise your hand and workshop this life.
- 29:00And I also want you to know that whatever decision you're facing,
- 29:05someone on this call or even someone listening to this replay
- 29:11is thinking the exact same thing.
- 29:12So it's going to be really helpful for them to see it as
- 29:15well. And if you guys don't want to
- 29:24bring the questions either, that's OK.
- 29:26We can just workshop any of the calls.
- 29:28OK, Rachel, I am going to promote you to panelists and you
- 29:32should be able to unmute and also turn on your video if you'd
- 29:35like. OK.
- 29:46Can you guys hear me? Hi, yes, I can hear you, I just
- 29:49can't see you and I think I made capability for you to unmute and
- 29:58turn on your video if you'd like.
- 30:01I'm not in the best environment so I'm going to keep the video
- 30:03off. OK, no problem.
- 30:05I can help you, Rachel. I'd say right now I'm in the so
- 30:10low background. I'm a basically like a new grad
- 30:12nurse, graduated last May so about to come up on my one year
- 30:15mark. And thank you.
- 30:20Been working in the ER cause I've since nursing school.
- 30:23I've always thought about doing the flight nursing route, but I
- 30:28am feeling like I need like it's time for some kind of change.
- 30:31And I think that's involving like going to it maybe a
- 30:34different hospital entirely. But at the same time, like, I
- 30:38don't know if I'm like ready to make that step where I'll be in
- 30:48a new environment with people. I don't know if I have the
- 30:51expertise that I need to necessarily make that step.
- 30:55And if moving to like a different hospital will put me
- 30:59backwards in like experience and kind of the opposite direction
- 31:04of where I want to go for flight nursing.
- 31:06OK. I think maybe the question needs
- 31:09to start with why do you want to go to a different hospital
- 31:11entirely? The current environment I work
- 31:20at where I know the managers trying to get things done, it's
- 31:23just not not the safest. Our ratios in the ER are
- 31:28sometimes very high. As a new your what your ratios
- 31:33OK? As a new grand nurse, it's not
- 31:35uncommon for me to be 6 to one. I've had nights where I'm 8 to
- 31:39one in the ER and it's not like it's a small ER, but it's not a
- 31:44trauma center either. We we don't have a lot of
- 31:50support from like charge nurses get a lot of backlash from them.
- 31:54So it's kind of like a negative environment I guess to work in
- 32:02and thinking about going to day shift, like it doesn't really
- 32:04change anything. That's why I'm thinking like
- 32:06just an entirely different hospital.
- 32:08Yeah, this is such a good first example to use, Rachel, because
- 32:13changing your environment and your circumstances is this is
- 32:16still going to follow you no matter where you go.
- 32:19So what I always offer for people to do who want to change
- 32:23jobs is change your mental management over at first and
- 32:28then decide from the empowered you.
- 32:32So what comes up for you when I say that can?
- 32:37You maybe reword it. Yeah, IA lot of people who want
- 32:40to change jobs when it comes from like it feels like a
- 32:43negative environment or the ratios or it's not safe or the
- 32:47management, they think that if they change the job, then if
- 32:50they change the circumstances that it's going to be better.
- 32:53But with each job there are negatives, right?
- 32:56There's 5050 for each job. So you have 50% things you like,
- 32:5950% things you don't like. And so I want to offer you
- 33:02before you decide to change jobs, make the manage your mind
- 33:09over some of these things first. And then from her, from the
- 33:13confident you who can be the person who's an excellent
- 33:16critical care nurse in hard ratios.
- 33:20Maybe when management doesn't agree with you, how can you be
- 33:24the one who's over your circumstances?
- 33:26How can you be the safe nurse and practice safely?
- 33:28Even if maybe there isn't a safe environment, how can you still
- 33:32practice safety from that confidence, empower you, then
- 33:38make the decision of do I want to stay or do I want to go?
- 33:40OK, so tell me what comes up for you when I say that.
- 33:47I feel like the first thing that really popped into my head was
- 33:52like being more vocal about how I'm feeling when those ratios
- 33:57get high, for example, and like kind of setting a boundary, not
- 34:02letting it happen, but making a like standing the ground almost
- 34:07and being like, no, this isn't safe.
- 34:08We shouldn't be doing this. We need to find something else
- 34:11out. This can't be our answer every
- 34:13time, you know the waiting room gets bigger.
- 34:16Yeah. So before you go to the how,
- 34:17though, this really what matters is The Who you're going to be
- 34:22because your thought air right now is if I have these Subs, a
- 34:27different change in environment of all these things is going to
- 34:30make me set me up to be a better flight nurse.
- 34:33Like that's your thought air right now.
- 34:35But the thought I want to offer you is how is maybe not having
- 34:40the perfect environment, learning to be a safer nurse
- 34:44when you don't have maybe safety or higher ratio or the ratios
- 34:48that you want. How can all of these things in
- 34:50your current environment actually set you up as a better
- 34:53flight nurse? I guess like the learning to be
- 35:02comfortable with the uncomfortable and just finding a
- 35:08way, like finding the confidence to develop the ability to take
- 35:13care of that many patients. Because when I can take care of
- 35:16that many patients when I'm in flight there, there will be so
- 35:19much more I can handle because it is only one patient at that
- 35:22point. Yeah.
- 35:23And it's not always one patient. It's like there were multiple.
- 35:27I worked in a flight company where we had a lot of traffic
- 35:31accidents and there was a lot of MVCS where I would roll up and
- 35:36there would be lots of different patients and lots of different
- 35:39people. And the ground unit would have
- 35:41decided, hey, I want you to take this patient.
- 35:43And I have to look at the five different bodies and I have to
- 35:46make a decision which one do I feel like we need to take as a
- 35:48team. And so you're going to have lots
- 35:51of opportunities by bigger ratios for you to utilize your
- 35:56critical thinking, for you to really listen to your gut, for
- 36:00you to think about what's maybe an outcome of this patient that
- 36:04I need to think about what happened very quickly and not
- 36:08based on their labs, not based on what they look like.
- 36:10And how do I from that gut feeling decipher.
- 36:12And you're not going to get that when you have perfect ratios and
- 36:14everything's going perfectly. Right.
- 36:21So how else might in your current environment, with the
- 36:24circumstances that you have, might make you a more confident
- 36:28and better flight nurse for the future?
- 36:36I feel like in the environment that I have right now, just it
- 36:40opens the door for me to be more confident in my own voice, which
- 36:45will allow me to be a louder voice when times are super
- 36:48critical and I need to make that decision or need to be someone
- 36:51who steps up and is heard. I feel like the environment I
- 36:54have right now can give me that opportunity because it's not
- 37:00something that's super comfy and it's not something super easy.
- 37:03Yeah, I mean, I actually want to offer you, you want to be in
- 37:06these situations that aren't easy and aren't comfy because
- 37:10every situation you're going to be in so in like that for
- 37:14flight, I mean, you're going to have some flights that are going
- 37:16to be simple and you're going to know what's going on.
- 37:17But the majority of them, there's going to be chaos and
- 37:20there's going to be things and unknowing situations that you
- 37:23don't know about. And and so learning to be
- 37:26confident and having your own voice is going to be key.
- 37:29And So what would that look like to be confident and have your
- 37:33own voice if we could just like, Fast forward to the future,
- 37:36Rachel, who's able to do that 10 out of 10?
- 37:39Well, tell me about her. What does she look like?
- 37:52Are you still there, Rachel? Yeah, OK.
- 37:54I think that that future me would be honestly, I think that
- 38:05if I had a louder voice, was more confident in myself, I
- 38:08think that future me would probably look back and be proud
- 38:10that I stayed and proud that I overcame being uncomfortable and
- 38:18like and be was able to learn to be comfortable with difficult
- 38:21situations. And I think that future me would
- 38:24make a better flight nurse and maybe even would be a flight
- 38:32nurse for a longer time, like starting sooner on.
- 38:35Than the future. Than if current me decided to to
- 38:40change. Why?
- 38:43Why is that confident in your own voice going to get you and
- 38:45being uncomfortable and experience a discomfort?
- 38:47Why is that going to get you closer to flight nursing
- 38:50quicker? I think it's because that being
- 38:57OK with making uncomfortable decisions or decisions that may
- 39:00not be the easiest or most like safe quote UN quote in my brain
- 39:08allows me then to push myself farther to make goals more
- 39:14almost unattainable looking to others but harder I guess like
- 39:19harder goals to make which would therefore push me harder.
- 39:23Yeah, so good because a regular critical care nurse, I remember
- 39:28there was a transport where we went on three different aircraft
- 39:31with three different pilots and and a regular critical care
- 39:36nurse or someone who isn't pushed to this limits would have
- 39:38been like, Nope, we can't do it. But the you who's able to be
- 39:42like confident in your own voice, confident in yourself,
- 39:45confident in the challenge, that's the you that's going to
- 39:47show up and be like, yeah, let's do it.
- 39:49We got to do what we got to do. We're going to land here, we're
- 39:50going to pick them up there. We're going to transfer him
- 39:52here. We're going to get here and
- 39:53we're going to get the patient there.
- 39:54Because if we don't, then what's the alternative?
- 39:56The alternative is they stay and they don't have the care that
- 39:58they need. And so that you who has your own
- 40:01voice, you're going to step up to challenges more confidently.
- 40:05You're going to step up to challenges and you're not going
- 40:07to be like, oh, I have to have the comfortable route.
- 40:09I got to do the comfortable thing.
- 40:11Right. And the key to this is going to
- 40:14be don't wait five years to feel proud.
- 40:17The key to get to her now is to generate feeling proud now.
- 40:24So when I talk about generating pride for you, what is it that
- 40:31you believe about yourself right now as a one year ER nurse that
- 40:35you're really proud of? Hey, that's a hard question
- 40:54because I feel like being, being in that new grad position, you
- 40:57always feel so I don't say like humiliated, but like you feel
- 41:01kind of silly, kind of kind of dumb.
- 41:02You're always asking questions or you don't know as much as the
- 41:07people around you, but you're not supposed to.
- 41:10Yeah. Well, I would offer for you to
- 41:11drop the new grad phrase because you're not a new grad anymore.
- 41:14And I just like don't even like when people say that because you
- 41:16can use that for like 5 or 10 years.
- 41:19But if you just like allowed yourself to be like, I'm not a
- 41:21new grad, I'm an ER nurse and I'm really proud of this.
- 41:26I'm really proud of accomplishing this or being this
- 41:28type of person. What comes up for you when I say
- 41:30that if you just allowed yourself, give yourself
- 41:32permission to drop the new grad? Observe event.
- 41:36OK, tell me more. I think this the little things
- 41:40and kind of like that sixth sense where you can just kind of
- 41:44tell something's kind of weird, something's different.
- 41:48Not even necessarily all the time with like the actual
- 41:50patient, but like family members or the way people are acting,
- 41:54which can kind of give you a deeper like understanding of why
- 41:56the patient's here, Like why the patient, you know, might be
- 42:00feeling the way they are. I feel like that's something
- 42:03that as a person I brought to nursing and it wasn't something
- 42:08I learned like during nursing school or through my
- 42:11experiences, but already brought with me.
- 42:12And it's something I am better at in some areas than others.
- 42:17OK. So that's the thought.
- 42:18And I think we're getting closer.
- 42:19I think we can find even like a more powerful one, being
- 42:23observant and having like a deep understanding of your patience.
- 42:27Why are you so proud of that? Because it it's in the past,
- 42:34it's let me catch on to things quicker than than I think not
- 42:40have being observant of something or allowed me to kind
- 42:43of put pictures together kind of come to like a a conclusion
- 42:48faster without like all the information necessarily written
- 42:52out in front of me like a gosh, I was trying to think of like an
- 43:02example, but. No, this is good.
- 43:04And I think it's like, OK, I wrote down some thoughts and you
- 43:07tell me like what? What helps you generate pride
- 43:10the most? I can catch on to things quick.
- 43:13I can put things together faster without all the information.
- 43:17Yeah, I'm observant and I have a deeper understanding.
- 43:21Which one like kind of helps you generate pride the most?
- 43:38Let's say catching on to things quick.
- 43:40Yeah, I love that. And keep it like really simple,
- 43:43like remind yourself, OK, wait, I catch on to things really
- 43:46quick and generate that prey now.
- 43:50And this will be helpful for everyone to think about too, as
- 43:53you're in between two decisions like do I stay or do I go?
- 43:56Like at the beginning, what I want to offer for you is love
- 43:59both avenues. Love why you want to go and also
- 44:04love why you want to stay. And when you love both decisions
- 44:08and things that you want from that, you who's completely
- 44:11empowered if you decided to stay, decide from her.
- 44:14Do I want to go or stay? OK.
- 44:17Do you see how that offers you like a little bit of a different
- 44:19lens? Yeah.
- 44:21'Cause the first question that you asked me, like should I go,
- 44:25'cause it's gonna offer? That was from like a very
- 44:27disempowered place. That was from the Rachel.
- 44:28That's like if I have the right ratio, if I have the right
- 44:32supervisor, if I have the right protocols and I have the right
- 44:34safety, then I can be a really, really great ER nurse.
- 44:40And that just gives so much of your power away versus I don't
- 44:43need any of those things. Actually, the more chaos when
- 44:47the ratios are off, when I maybe don't have support from my
- 44:51management, I'm really good at what I do because I catch on to
- 44:55things really quick. I put things together faster and
- 44:58I'm so observant now. Yeah.
- 45:04Do you feel that difference? I do, yeah, actually.
- 45:08And then from her who like, and this might take a bit, right,
- 45:12This might take a couple shifts, but from her who can really get
- 45:15in that empowered, proud, confident place, decide from her
- 45:19who loves both options, which one to do.
- 45:22OK. How does that feel for you, A?
- 45:27Little daunting, but I feel like it helps in the thought process
- 45:34of of actually the why I'm desiring to make the decision.
- 45:39Because if it is just for, you know, things to be a little bit
- 45:42easier so I can feel like I can do my job better than I'm only
- 45:46really hindering my ability to make the next step to being a
- 45:49fight nurse. Which is a lie too, because
- 45:52you're going to go to the next thing and you might not have
- 45:54those things, but you'll have another subset of things, right?
- 45:57And then you'll be like, oh, those things are affecting me
- 46:00from getting there, where it's really just you, you stopping
- 46:03you from becoming uncomfortable and where you want to.
- 46:08Go. Yeah.
- 46:09OK. Thanks Rachel.
- 46:10That was so good. Keep me, keep me in your
- 46:15decision of what you decided for that.
- 46:16Keep me in the I will. OK, so good.
- 46:19You're welcome. OK.
- 46:23I hope that was helpful for you guys.
- 46:24That was a really good thing to coach on and talk about and
- 46:30workshop. And for those of you guys who
- 46:32are like in between two things, like I said, love both avenues.
- 46:36Give yourselves reason why you love staying or you love going,
- 46:40whatever it is, relationship, job, department, shift in your
- 46:43career, love both options 1st. And then from that person who's
- 46:49empowered and staying or leaving or whatever it is, make the
- 46:53decision from that person who loves both which one you want to
- 46:55do. I think that's really helpful.
- 46:57And that was such a great example.
- 47:00OK, I want to invite you guys who want to take this
- 47:06conversation, this work deeper and continue with this momentum
- 47:11of getting what you want, feeling discomfort, creating big
- 47:13goals, becoming a really convicted and confident decision
- 47:16maker in every aspect of your life.
- 47:19Come join us inside The Shift. I'm going to tell you right now
- 47:23about the Shift lifetime membership life coaching program
- 47:27and what it includes. This is for anyone and everyone.
- 47:31This isn't just for people who want to get in flight.
- 47:33This is for anybody who wants to make small or big shifts in
- 47:36their life, who wants to create confidence in every aspect,
- 47:39whether it's personal or professional or for goals or for
- 47:43relationships. This is my lifetime membership
- 47:47program of general life coaching.
- 47:49I'm going to tell you what it includes and I'm going to walk
- 47:51you through that right now and then answer some questions if
- 47:53you guys have any at the end. So inside the shift, we have
- 47:57weekly live coaching calls. They're going to be very similar
- 48:00to this where we meet every Thursday at noon Pacific
- 48:04Standard Time. And I'm going to do a little bit
- 48:06of teaching with some questions and then you guys can come and
- 48:08get live integration coaching on anything that you are decisions
- 48:13or in between confidence. You want to gain any really big
- 48:17shifts that you're making. And as you guys just saw on
- 48:20here, you don't have to be the one getting coached to get a lot
- 48:23out of it. In fact, sometimes it's even
- 48:25harder as the one coaching because I'm asking the tough
- 48:26questions. But watching other people get
- 48:29coached, you're going to get such a transformation from that
- 48:32as well. This is not a perfect student
- 48:34program. Now a lot of know a lot of you
- 48:36guys are like, do I have to make every call?
- 48:38Do I have to watch all the videos?
- 48:39And you don't. This is made for you to tap into
- 48:43for you. So there's a program that I'm
- 48:45in. I can't make every call live
- 48:48weekly, But what I do is at least once a week, I dedicate
- 48:51this one hour to myself of asking myself, what do I need
- 48:55more clarification in? Where do I want to grow my
- 48:57confidence? And I listen to this replay,
- 49:00whether it's in the private podcast replay or watch it live
- 49:03on the video. So that's what these weekly
- 49:05calls are for. This is not, again, a perfect
- 49:07mindset mode. This is to help you tap into
- 49:10this coaching, these questions, this level of concepts.
- 49:13You can create the momentum you want in your life and set a
- 49:16higher standard for yourself. This is not just about learning
- 49:19concepts. This is about thinking
- 49:20different. This is about making decisions
- 49:22faster. It's about moving through
- 49:24obstacles without getting stuck, spending less time and energy
- 49:27doing that. Imagine having this type of
- 49:30access and transformation weekly and continuously.
- 49:35All the replays of all these weekly calls are going to be
- 49:38housed inside a member portal. I'm going to show you that in
- 49:40just a second. You'll be able to watch all of
- 49:43them and the replays by the video live.
- 49:45If you can't make it, you can go back and re listen as much as
- 49:48you want. You're going to have lifetime
- 49:49access to the member portal to watch any of the replays in
- 49:52there. I really want to offer you, your
- 49:53life is going to be changed if you can dedicate one hour every
- 49:58week out of the 167 hours and seven days a week to yourself.
- 50:02Focusing on yourself will change your life, the trajectory of
- 50:07your life. This is the reason why having a
- 50:10coach for me helped me become a multiple 6A figure entrepreneur
- 50:15and shift out of nursing totally.
- 50:18And whatever it is, whatever the result that you want to create,
- 50:21this is possible through yourself too on doing these kind
- 50:25of coaching programs and being inside my group.
- 50:27The second thing you're going to get besides these weekly ongoing
- 50:30calls is you're going to have a private podcast.
- 50:33So like I said, if you miss it, you can watch it in the member
- 50:36portal under the video replay, or I'm going to show you the
- 50:39private podcast link as well too here in just a second.
- 50:42You can upload the URL to any podcast platform.
- 50:47So for me, I listen to Apple Podcast and you'll be able to
- 50:50every week, every Thursday, about an hour after the call,
- 50:52it'll be uploaded on there and you can listen to it.
- 50:55So life is busy. I know that you can't make every
- 50:58call live. So listening to the coaching on
- 51:00walks, in the car, in between tasks, it'll be really helpful
- 51:03for you to be able to create this level of momentum and have
- 51:06these tools present in your daily life as well.
- 51:09The third thing that you have inside this lifetime membership
- 51:12program that I really, truly love is the community group
- 51:15chat. You're going to have access to
- 51:17this private community group chat where you're going to be
- 51:20able to have a place to ask questions, share your wins, work
- 51:24through challenges real time, get support 24/7 real time, and
- 51:29be surrounded by other people who are committed to growth.
- 51:31You can tap in between our weekly calls for coaching as
- 51:34well from me or from support from anybody in the group chat.
- 51:38Moving forward intentionally with people who have standards
- 51:41that are high too will help you rise.
- 51:44I know I've created a lot of success by putting myself in
- 51:47rooms and in programs of where people I want to be and the
- 51:51growth that I want to be in rooms where people are having
- 51:54that same level of growth too, where I can feel discomfort, but
- 51:57I can feel the possibility from them as well.
- 52:00So I'm going to show you the member portal right now.
- 52:02I'm going to share my screen so you can see it.
- 52:07Can you guys see my screen right now?
- 52:10If you could give me a thumbs up so I know I'm sharing the right
- 52:14screen, that would be great. Either in an emoji or the chat.
- 52:19This is OK, great. This is our member portal, so
- 52:23you're gonna have your own login.
- 52:25Once you join in the welcome e-mail, you'll have your own
- 52:27login and password. Once you get in here, you'll
- 52:30have a welcome video that we'll talk about the weekly calls, the
- 52:33emails with the Zoom link. The Zoom link will be the same
- 52:35every week and what to expect kind of from the program.
- 52:39Right now we're working through the six step process to make any
- 52:42shift in your life. We've talked about listening to
- 52:45the whisper, then we had an integration coaching call with
- 52:47that. And then last week we talked
- 52:49about decluttering your brain. I take you through the steps of
- 52:51doing that. And then this week we're going
- 52:53to do an integration call inside here as well.
- 52:56You're going to see the same Zoom link and then a link to our
- 52:58community group chat and then all the replays will be in here
- 53:02as well. So that is the community or the
- 53:07member portal. Actually, I'm just going to
- 53:08click on one so you can see. So in here you can rewatch them.
- 53:12You can do it at any speed as well.
- 53:14I like to listen to some of my replays in 2X.
- 53:16I'm a fast talker, so I like to listen to it that well that way
- 53:19as well. And then here's what your
- 53:20private podcast looks like. So if you click this button
- 53:23right here, it gives you a personal URL.
- 53:27You can put that personal URL like in Apple podcast, like I
- 53:30said. And then automatically when I
- 53:32put the replays in the member portal and upload them to the
- 53:37private podcast, you're going to be able to see them on your
- 53:39Apple podcast or whatever platform that you use.
- 53:42But also the replays are going to be here for you to listen to
- 53:45as well. So these are all our previous
- 53:48ones that I talked about. So that's the member portal,
- 53:51that's the private podcast. And you can, you're going to
- 53:55have access to this member portal to go back to any time
- 53:58that you want to watch replays. So if you're like, hey, I really
- 54:02want to go back and look at the six step process.
- 54:03Let me go back and rewatch those or I have a question.
- 54:06Let me rewatch a replay that maybe was from a year ago.
- 54:09I can go back and look at that and get some answers from that
- 54:12as well. I like to rewatch replays from
- 54:14the other programs that I'm in as well.
- 54:16I know what it's like to read books, listen to podcasts, and
- 54:20think about what you want. But what's different about
- 54:23having this coaching program is the application, the
- 54:27accountability and the support. It's easy for your mind to get
- 54:30pulled in old patterns. And so the shift's going to give
- 54:33you tools, space to apply them, accountability to follow through
- 54:37the community that's going to help reinforce that and the
- 54:41capability to shift through anything in your life in an
- 54:44unintentional or intentional. And the way I like to think
- 54:47about that is we all have like big things, whether it's career
- 54:51changes, relationship changes, business decisions, identity
- 54:54shifts, but we have small ones too that are sometimes small or
- 54:58big that are unexpected. Like maybe you're going through
- 55:00a divorce or maybe there's a breakup or maybe you have a
- 55:04family member die. This is the group that's going
- 55:06to help you with any shift in intention, intentional or
- 55:10unintentional, that happens in your life.
- 55:12It's going to help you become the person who can handle the
- 55:15hard, do well under pressure, be confident in decisions, and
- 55:19still move forward. It's lifetime because I want to
- 55:22continue to support you through every shift that you make,
- 55:24whether it's career, relationship, identity, shift,
- 55:27life changes. If you guys have been following
- 55:29me for a little while, you know this is my 4th career change and
- 55:32I really think I've been able to be confident in every career
- 55:35change because I've been able to shift identities.
- 55:37And having a life coach and having programs where I can have
- 55:40that accountability and support has really been integral not
- 55:44only for me to be able to do it quickly, but to be able to be
- 55:46confident in that decision that I'm making.
- 55:49You will get lifetime access with the member portal, the
- 55:52private podcast, the community group chat for $1200.
- 55:56I have a pay in full option or I have a three monthly payment
- 56:00option of 400 as well. I'm gonna give you guys the link
- 56:03in here to join inside the group chat and now that it's working
- 56:07for you guys, let me know if it's clickable for you and you
- 56:12can access that. You can see the different
- 56:14payment plan options and you guys can get started on our call
- 56:18this week. So I have a special bonus for
- 56:20those of you guys who Join Now, you're gonna be able to be a
- 56:23part of the founders bonus. And what that means is you are
- 56:27going to be able to workshop live the six step process.
- 56:31So as I included, as you saw when I shared the screen, we
- 56:34worked through listening to the whisper and decluttering your
- 56:36brain. We've only done the second step.
- 56:39So we have four more steps to work through, plus the
- 56:41integration call of the decluttering your brain and
- 56:44you're going to get access to all the questions in the
- 56:46teaching through there. So in this six step process, I'm
- 56:49going to teach you how to move through uncertainty, how to make
- 56:51powerful decisions, how to create momentum and what you
- 56:55want, how to follow through when doubt shows up.
- 56:58And we're going to be doing this live for the first like kind of
- 57:0112 weeks together. So the rest of the six step
- 57:04process I'm going to go through is creating your vision story,
- 57:06redirecting your purpose and why tapping into that desire. 4 step
- 57:11is tapping into capability and capacity.
- 57:13How can we grow that for any aspect of your life?
- 57:165 is future focus. How do we, we talked about that
- 57:19a little bit on this call, but how do we pull from the future
- 57:22you and create a plan to move forward now?
- 57:24And then the 6th 1 is how do we just shift into action?
- 57:27How do we create action acceleration with some of these
- 57:30emotions of uncertainty and doubt and do it confidently?
- 57:33I'm going to show you how to do that.
- 57:34So Join Now so you can be a part of this founders bonus.
- 57:37Go through workshopping the 6th step process live.
- 57:42That is going to be housed in there forever inside the member
- 57:44portal. And then you're going to have
- 57:46access to all the replays as well with that founders bonus.
- 57:49Let me know in the chat if you signed up and if you've joined
- 57:53us so that I can be looking for you.
- 57:55As soon as you sign up, you're going to get a welcome letter
- 57:57and you're going to get access to the member portal immediately
- 58:01and to the group chat. And you can join us on our
- 58:04weekly call. That's going to be this
- 58:06Thursday. We're going to do integration of
- 58:08decluttering your brain every week.
- 58:11You're going to be able to bring anything that you want, life
- 58:14coaching on, personal, professional, anything that's
- 58:17coming up for you. And then I am going to be kind
- 58:19of doing a little teaching portion at the end, at the
- 58:22beginning of each call too and offering you some questions to
- 58:25help you think about and work through as well.
- 58:27And I might be doing some challenges as well and some
- 58:31different subjects that I can see that people, members in the
- 58:33group might be able to really benefit from as well.
- 58:38I know as we get close to the holidays, I'll probably talk
- 58:40about managing tough relationships and family members
- 58:43and setting boundaries as well. I know we talked about
- 58:45boundaries a little bit and speaking up on this call.
- 58:48OK, that is it for the workshop. I hope you guys are joining us
- 58:53inside the shift. I would love to have you.
- 58:54I'd love to help you get started, keep going on this
- 58:57momentum, confidently reach the decision that you want to make.
- 59:00I want to open this up for the last couple minutes to stay on
- 59:04for any questions. So I don't Do you guys have any
- 59:09questions for me? Feel free to put them in the
- 59:12chat because I can see the chat now.
