- 0:05Speaker 1: What's up. Family, It's your girl to Mika d. Mallory
- 0:08Speaker 1: and your boy my son.
- 0:09Speaker 2: In general, we are.
- 0:10Speaker 1: Your hosts of street politicians, the place with the streets
- 0:14Speaker 1: and politics. Me's going on my song Lenin.
- 0:16Speaker 2: Today's a slow day. Trying to speed up, but I'm here.
- 0:20Speaker 1: It's slow day for me. Let me tell you something.
- 0:22Speaker 1: The other day I had a colonic, which is not
- 0:27Speaker 1: a colonoscopy. Colonoscopy is when they go inside and look
- 0:31Speaker 1: to see if they are polyps and cancer or so
- 0:33Speaker 1: sitting anywhere. But a colonoscopy is when they go inside
- 0:37Speaker 1: and it's basically like a a more advanced enema where
- 0:41Speaker 1: they are cleaning your system out. And the one thing
- 0:44Speaker 1: I could say is that, first of all, it definitely
- 0:47Speaker 1: makes you feel lighter, like you know, you feel better.
- 0:52Speaker 1: And the second thing is that I do not feel
- 0:57Speaker 1: as tired the last two days since I had it,
- 1:00Speaker 1: I am much like feeling much better. I'm not as
- 1:05Speaker 1: sluggish as I had been. I sat yesterday. See, you know,
- 1:09Speaker 1: no more braids. I'm back in my my tresses, back
- 1:13Speaker 1: in my inches, got my weaves back, and it takes
- 1:17Speaker 1: time to start from scratch from braids for six months.
- 1:20Speaker 1: I did braids for six months and now I'm back
- 1:23Speaker 1: to my hair, and that takes time to transition, taking
- 1:26Speaker 1: the braids out, doing the whole thing. I got up
- 1:29Speaker 1: at six thirty in the morning, I worked out, I
- 1:34Speaker 1: took my hair out, I worked out, I cleaned up
- 1:38Speaker 1: my house, I left the house, I went, I got
- 1:41Speaker 1: my hair done. I spent the full day in the salon,
- 1:44Speaker 1: from twelve to after seven. I never said I was
- 1:47Speaker 1: tired one time. Never, and not to say that I
- 1:52Speaker 1: don't want certain junk food. But I don't have the
- 1:54Speaker 1: same craving. So yes, it is uncomfortable people, it's uncle. Absolutely,
- 1:59Speaker 1: it's uncomfort, is extremely uncomfortable. But what I will say
- 2:03Speaker 1: is that it's worth it, and I do. They put
- 2:08Speaker 1: a tube inside of you and then they flush you
- 2:11Speaker 1: with water, and this particular place also uses coffee because
- 2:15Speaker 1: if you think about it, when you drink coffee, it
- 2:17Speaker 1: makes you want to use the bathroom most times, so
- 2:20Speaker 1: that is a part of their treatment. They flush you
- 2:23Speaker 1: with water, and they also at the end, the last
- 2:26Speaker 1: part is they pump you with coffee and they keep
- 2:29Speaker 1: on flushing you out and in some places they just
- 2:32Speaker 1: sit you, you know, shout out to our sister Kepra,
- 2:34Speaker 1: because she between Kepra and our other sister who send
- 2:37Speaker 1: the cross, they were the folks who suggested it for me.
- 2:41Speaker 1: And you know, in some places you just sit by yourself.
- 2:45Speaker 1: You know, they'll come over and ask you if you okay,
- 2:47Speaker 1: and you just sit. But in this particular place, Linda
- 2:50Speaker 1: Sarcer and I went together. In this particular place, they
- 2:54Speaker 1: rub your stomach and they helped to like really move
- 2:57Speaker 1: around anything that's inside of you, sitting in your in
- 3:00Speaker 1: testing this and that, and they move it and your
- 3:03Speaker 1: colon basically to get it cleared out and so in it.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And they keep filling you up and filling you up
- 3:09Speaker 1: until whatever's coming out is clear. So that it's very intrusive,
- 3:16Speaker 1: it's very uncomfortable, but I believe it's very necessary. Like
- 3:20Speaker 1: I see, I am telling you, there are results my stomach.
- 3:23Speaker 1: I actually lost two pounds. In fact, I kind of look,
- 3:29Speaker 1: I think I lost three pounds. But then the last
- 3:33Speaker 1: time I weighed myself, which they tell you not to do,
- 3:35Speaker 1: was right after I ate something, so that's never you're
- 3:38Speaker 1: not supposed to do that. But today I didn't really eat,
- 3:41Speaker 1: and I'm bad. I'm down three pounds, so it's I
- 3:45Speaker 1: feel it. I feel something lighter and everything. So anyway,
- 3:48Speaker 1: the point I'm making here is take care of your body.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Like for people who are listening, take care of your body.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Make sure that you are doing things like not just
- 4:00Speaker 1: the colonic but other things like a colonoscopy, like the
- 4:04Speaker 1: breast exams, all of that stuff. Take care of your
- 4:07Speaker 1: body because I can tell the difference since I have
- 4:10Speaker 1: started to really take care of myself a little bit more.
- 4:13Speaker 1: And the last thing I'll say is I still want
- 4:15Speaker 1: the junk and the still the all the things, but
- 4:19Speaker 1: I don't have the same craving like I don't. I
- 4:22Speaker 1: don't feel like I need to eat as much as
- 4:25Speaker 1: I felt. I think that stuff that sits in your
- 4:27Speaker 1: system kind of just kind of tells your mind feed
- 4:30Speaker 1: me more, feed me more, feed me more. So clean
- 4:33Speaker 1: out and just do something different. That's all I can say.
- 4:39Speaker 2: That's good. I went.
- 4:40Speaker 3: I just got you know, I do my annual and
- 4:42Speaker 3: I've been really a lot intentional about working out lately.
- 4:46Speaker 3: So like the last week, I just been working on
- 4:47Speaker 3: every day. So I find, like what you said, I
- 4:51Speaker 3: found myself. Once you get into good habits, especially like physically,
- 4:55Speaker 3: and you know, start eating, and I've been eating a
- 4:57Speaker 3: lot of vegetables. I don't I'm one of them people
- 5:00Speaker 3: that don't have any problem going to the bathroom after
- 5:03Speaker 3: I eat every meal. My body is like, okay, go
- 5:06Speaker 3: to the bathroom. So, you know, but I might look
- 5:08Speaker 3: into this.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I don't really want I don't have a problem going
- 5:11Speaker 1: to the bathroom either.
- 5:12Speaker 2: I never have a problem that a lot of people
- 5:14Speaker 2: do a lot.
- 5:14Speaker 3: There's a lot of people that you know, they don't
- 5:16Speaker 3: they don't use the bathroom a lot. You know what
- 5:18Speaker 3: I'm saying, They constipated or they you know, I feel
- 5:21Speaker 3: like I use the bathroom a lot, you know, but
- 5:24Speaker 3: I might look at I don't really want nothing to
- 5:26Speaker 3: side on my butt though.
- 5:27Speaker 1: You know, here's the thing intrusive you just said.
- 5:29Speaker 2: It's very intrusive to.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Be clear me either, you know, like that is not
- 5:34Speaker 1: my area of comfort and joy. So I'm not one
- 5:38Speaker 1: of those people that I don't want that either. But
- 5:41Speaker 1: I will say I know for a fact that if
- 5:44Speaker 1: all that waste is coming out of you, it can't
- 5:47Speaker 1: be good for it to sit inside of your system
- 5:51Speaker 1: from time to time to time. And even though we're
- 5:53Speaker 1: using the bathroom. We're just getting the surface out. We're
- 5:57Speaker 1: not really like cleaning out the whole colon. And so
- 6:01Speaker 1: I don't know, you know, I'm sure this is not
- 6:03Speaker 1: colon awareness, mom, but it should be health awareness every day.
- 6:08Speaker 1: And I'm just you know, sharing a very intimate thing
- 6:12Speaker 1: that I did and just telling folks that you know,
- 6:15Speaker 1: it's it. We get we you know, all of us,
- 6:18Speaker 1: not all of us, but many of us have been
- 6:20Speaker 1: under the knife for this or that, different things, different surgeries,
- 6:24Speaker 1: different you're trying to enhance yourself. You might be taking
- 6:27Speaker 1: some kind of pills, you working out, you're doing all
- 6:30Speaker 1: of that, and you should. And some people, a lot
- 6:32Speaker 1: of people are trying to eat better. You see it.
- 6:34Speaker 1: You see obviously all of these different vegan spots popping
- 6:39Speaker 1: up and people drinking more smoothie. So people are becoming
- 6:42Speaker 1: more conscious. And I'm just offering that another part of
- 6:47Speaker 1: that is to clean your colon and get your system
- 6:49Speaker 1: cleared out as much as you can.
- 6:51Speaker 2: So a lot of people that's full of shit, You're
- 6:54Speaker 2: gonna get cleaned out.
- 6:57Speaker 1: And we should make sure sure that we laugh our
- 7:04Speaker 1: way to go take care of ourselves. That's it happened.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It is very uncomfortable though I'm not gonna lie. It
- 7:12Speaker 1: ain't something you're gonna want to do.
- 7:16Speaker 2: What you're not gonna want to go back? You know what?
- 7:19Speaker 1: You feel that way while it's happening, but you realize, wow,
- 7:25Speaker 1: all of this stuff is sitting inside of me. I
- 7:26Speaker 1: need to go back. And people have different schedules. Some
- 7:29Speaker 1: people go often, other people don't go that often. They
- 7:32Speaker 1: might do twice a year, maybe even once a year.
- 7:35Speaker 1: But I'm I'm going to be not regular, probably like
- 7:40Speaker 1: semi regular, but I'm definitely gonna get it done every quarter,
- 7:44Speaker 1: absolutely absolutely. I mean, well, well, actually in the beginning
- 7:51Speaker 1: they tell you the first three times you need to
- 7:53Speaker 1: make them close together. So I have to go with
- 7:55Speaker 1: three week intervals, which is horrible because I don't want
- 7:59Speaker 1: to do it. But then after the three week intervals,
- 8:04Speaker 1: then some people do it a week, two weeks or whatever.
- 8:07Speaker 1: But I chose three week intervals. That well, you have
- 8:11Speaker 1: to ask Linda because I don't want to be telling
- 8:13Speaker 1: her business and you.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Know, I'm just going to do what is it painful? Did?
- 8:16Speaker 2: She says? She?
- 8:17Speaker 1: Well, she went before me, so when she went in
- 8:21Speaker 1: the room same day before me and took care of hers.
- 8:25Speaker 1: So when she came out, her thing to me was,
- 8:28Speaker 1: it's very uncomfortable because at first she was texting me
- 8:31Speaker 1: from the table, like telling me different things. Because they
- 8:34Speaker 1: we did a lymphatic massage as well, which means that
- 8:38Speaker 1: they rubbed the top of your skin and kind of
- 8:40Speaker 1: push all the stuff into your lymphos, which they help
- 8:43Speaker 1: you get out. You have to go to the bathroom.
- 8:45Speaker 1: You urinate the whole thing. By the way, when doing
- 8:48Speaker 1: the kolonic, they also have pressure points in your skin.
- 8:52Speaker 1: It's places in your arm and your hands that as
- 8:55Speaker 1: they were pushing it. This may be t and I,
- 8:57Speaker 1: but you know, we are an educational place platform where
- 9:01Speaker 1: we learn together and educate. As they were like pushing
- 9:05Speaker 1: and touching certain points on my arms and my hands,
- 9:09Speaker 1: you could hear more drainage. So they know exactly where
- 9:14Speaker 1: the points are within your body that when they touch
- 9:17Speaker 1: them it stimulates you to actually move out the waste
- 9:22Speaker 1: and be clear it is waste. So she was first
- 9:24Speaker 1: texting me and then all of a sudden, I'm telling
- 9:27Speaker 1: her stuff and she's not texting back. And I thought
- 9:30Speaker 1: maybe because I was texting about work that she stopped,
- 9:32Speaker 1: but it wasn't that it's that after a while it
- 9:34Speaker 1: becomes uncomfortable and you got to focus on getting through,
- 9:38Speaker 1: you know. So I'm not gonna say it's painful, but
- 9:41Speaker 1: it's uncomfortable. So speaking of being light and painful and
- 9:47Speaker 1: all of those things, our campaign in Kentucky, including our
- 9:51Speaker 1: office opening, happened this week. We are, you know, in
- 9:58Speaker 1: the middle of a fight. And as you know, Daniel
- 10:01Speaker 1: Caeron is someone who has raised a significant amount of
- 10:04Speaker 1: money from people who support his rhetoric, which includes things
- 10:09Speaker 1: like giving the death penalty to drug dealers. It includes
- 10:14Speaker 1: things like getting rid of the Civilian Complaint Review Board
- 10:18Speaker 1: so that people have no recourse to fight when there
- 10:21Speaker 1: are issues of injustice that have been committed by a
- 10:26Speaker 1: police officer. He wants to give cops more discretion and
- 10:33Speaker 1: more power to do surveillance. I mean, he is a
- 10:36Speaker 1: police guy. And now that we have really launched the
- 10:41Speaker 1: next seven weeks about seven weeks of our efforts to
- 10:46Speaker 1: fight him, we just want to make sure that the
- 10:48Speaker 1: people of Kentucky are armed and prepared to go to
- 10:52Speaker 1: the polls even if they make a decision that we
- 10:55Speaker 1: don't agree with. We want them to go to the
- 10:57Speaker 1: polls and when I say that some of the work
- 10:59Speaker 1: that we have participated in his nonpartisan getting out there,
- 11:04Speaker 1: registering voters, trying to make sure we get people to
- 11:07Speaker 1: the polls. That is done in a nonpartisan fashion, which
- 11:12Speaker 1: ultimately means that we are getting people registered and not
- 11:18Speaker 1: telling them anything about who they need to vote for.
- 11:21Speaker 1: But we also have many other things going on where
- 11:25Speaker 1: people are really clear about what we stand for. So
- 11:28Speaker 1: we believe in people being registered to vote and having
- 11:31Speaker 1: that power in their hands regardless. But in addition to that,
- 11:36Speaker 1: we want people to know that until freedom is unapologetically
- 11:40Speaker 1: against Daniel Cameron, are we the biggest governor basher folks? No,
- 11:47Speaker 1: I can't say that, because there are issues even with
- 11:49Speaker 1: Bashir that the local community can talk about. We should
- 11:52Speaker 1: actually have some of the local leaders to come on
- 11:54Speaker 1: this show. But I will say we restored the voting
- 12:01Speaker 1: rights of one hundred and seventy thousand, one hundred and
- 12:05Speaker 1: seventy thousand people who had felony convictions or other convictions
- 12:11Speaker 1: that prevented them from voting in the state of Kentucky.
- 12:14Speaker 1: And so that's just you know, people will say, well,
- 12:16Speaker 1: that's one thing, shirt Certainly there's much more to debate.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Some issues we agree with them on some we don't.
- 12:23Speaker 1: But those hundred and seventy thousand people that have access
- 12:26Speaker 1: to go to the ballot box to fight for their
- 12:29Speaker 1: rights and to stand up for what they believe in,
- 12:33Speaker 1: I think that is very, really important, and it truly
- 12:36Speaker 1: is an important space for us because we want to
- 12:39Speaker 1: make sure that those individuals know that the same behavior
- 12:43Speaker 1: that got you locked up, you know, whether it be
- 12:47Speaker 1: that someone didn't consider your story and your life and
- 12:51Speaker 1: provide you with the resources you need, that that same
- 12:54Speaker 1: behavior is what Daniel Cameron intends to inflict upon Kentucky Dame.
- 13:01Speaker 3: Yeah, Daniel Cameron is a piece of shit. You know,
- 13:04Speaker 3: he's He's just not a good guy, you know what
- 13:06Speaker 3: I'm saying. When when you when you look at just
- 13:09Speaker 3: based off what you said some of the things, but
- 13:13Speaker 3: just what he did to Breonna Taylor and her family,
- 13:16Speaker 3: to me, was it just it was it was the
- 13:19Speaker 3: icing on the cake. It just shows that you're not
- 13:20Speaker 3: a good moral character. You know, you intentionally deprived those
- 13:25Speaker 3: people with justice, You lie to those people, you and
- 13:28Speaker 3: you intentionally inflicted more harm to a mother who had
- 13:32Speaker 3: lost her child at the hands of the police.
- 13:35Speaker 2: You know, so I don't.
- 13:37Speaker 3: I just the unmitigated golf for you to think that
- 13:41Speaker 3: you should be the governor of you know, Kentucky. It's
- 13:45Speaker 3: just crazy to me. You know, miss McConnell. Who's his guy.
- 13:50Speaker 3: He's not even in the right mental state. He can't
- 13:53Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. So he's he's co signing him.
- 13:56Speaker 3: He's being co signed by a lot of people that
- 13:58Speaker 3: I don't even know how they eat and got into office.
- 14:01Speaker 3: But we're dealing with a lot of shit, man, were
- 14:03Speaker 3: dealing with a lot of shit and old skin folks
- 14:05Speaker 3: and kim folk.
- 14:06Speaker 2: I know.
- 14:06Speaker 3: A lot of time you look and I'm one of
- 14:09Speaker 3: those people who will definitely want to see you know,
- 14:12Speaker 3: brothers and sisters, you know, elevating in government. But this
- 14:17Speaker 3: guy right here, he's just not a good guy. We're
- 14:19Speaker 3: gonna do whatever we have to do to me about that.
- 14:22Speaker 1: This morning, Yes, I got cussed out.
- 14:25Speaker 3: You know, I'm I'm gonna go organize, you know the
- 14:28Speaker 3: demographic that I know that I feel to listen to
- 14:31Speaker 3: my voice because Amiga told me that I ain't doing
- 14:35Speaker 3: shit and basically I need to get on my job.
- 14:40Speaker 3: And I heard him a loud clear, so Yep, we
- 14:42Speaker 3: come to Kentucky. All of my bros. You know we're coming,
- 14:47Speaker 3: and we need I'm gonna need y'all help.
- 14:48Speaker 2: Man.
- 14:49Speaker 4: Y'all got guys, the guy for.
- 14:51Speaker 2: The guys, Free the guys.
- 14:52Speaker 3: I'm gonna need y'all man a lot of Like she said,
- 14:54Speaker 3: over one hundred and seventy thousand people got their voting
- 14:58Speaker 3: rights restored, and for a reason, you know, I'm being
- 15:01Speaker 3: a formally colstrated individual and understanding and.
- 15:04Speaker 2: Not taking that privileged lightly. You know.
- 15:08Speaker 3: I try to make sure that I vote in the
- 15:10Speaker 3: re election. I find candidates and people who are more
- 15:15Speaker 3: aligned to what I want to see in my community
- 15:19Speaker 3: and government. You know, all the time, it's not the greatest,
- 15:22Speaker 3: it's not the best people, but I definitely find those
- 15:25Speaker 3: people are on issues and things that I think the
- 15:28Speaker 3: community needs, you know, And and that's how I make
- 15:32Speaker 3: a decision. I don't think for me at this point
- 15:34Speaker 3: in my life, not voting is not really an option,
- 15:37Speaker 3: you know, because whether or not I vote or not,
- 15:40Speaker 3: somebody's gonna run this country. Somebody's going to run our community.
- 15:43Speaker 3: Somebody's going to be in office. And if if I
- 15:47Speaker 3: don't take the time and do the research and do
- 15:50Speaker 3: my due diligence to find someone and something in each
- 15:55Speaker 3: candidate or something that I don't like. You know, sometimes
- 15:58Speaker 3: it's a candidate that has just like you know, why
- 16:02Speaker 3: the hell would we vote for somebody that says give
- 16:05Speaker 3: the death penalty to drug dealers when when you got
- 16:09Speaker 3: big farm out here selling all the drugs and they
- 16:12Speaker 3: making billions, but you're gonna you're gonna kill some little
- 16:15Speaker 3: Joey on the corner that's selling some drugs because he
- 16:19Speaker 3: doesn't have any other way to make money, or doesn't
- 16:23Speaker 3: know that he has another way to make money.
- 16:25Speaker 1: He doesn't know that's important.
- 16:27Speaker 3: He doesn't know, you know, he hasn't been given opportunities
- 16:31Speaker 3: and feels like this is the quick way for him
- 16:33Speaker 3: to make some money. Why would I want to see
- 16:35Speaker 3: that man killed?
- 16:37Speaker 1: And to be clear, we're not saying that he's.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Right, you know, we're not saying he's right, but we
- 16:41Speaker 3: understand that there should be punishment if you get caught
- 16:44Speaker 3: doing a problem. Yeah, you know, but there's really a
- 16:47Speaker 3: drug dealer can be rehabilitated, you know what I'm saying.
- 16:50Speaker 3: So us just the men thought of that someone who
- 16:55Speaker 3: didn't take a like who didn't physically take anyone's life
- 17:00Speaker 3: is being.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Killed.
- 17:03Speaker 3: It's it just doesn't even make sense in the mind,
- 17:05Speaker 3: the mind that thinks that it is even worse.
- 17:09Speaker 2: So no, Daniel came in for me.
- 17:13Speaker 1: It's a no for many people because as we've been
- 17:15Speaker 1: out walking and talking to folks, they're like, oh the
- 17:18Speaker 1: registered people are like, oh, no, we intend to vote,
- 17:21Speaker 1: don't No, They're like, oh, no, no, for sure. So
- 17:25Speaker 1: I remember one time I met a well you remember
- 17:29Speaker 1: Grandpa that used to be in the square. He used
- 17:31Speaker 1: to be arrested with us, and when he was out
- 17:34Speaker 1: there fighting every day, and I never forget he pulled
- 17:37Speaker 1: me over one day. Brought tears to my eyes. This
- 17:40Speaker 1: is a man who was older, who didn't even have
- 17:44Speaker 1: all of his dent, his teeth in his mouth, like
- 17:47Speaker 1: he was really somebody you could tell had a hard,
- 17:50Speaker 1: hard time, a lot of things going on, coming from
- 17:53Speaker 1: a real stressful situation. But he was out there for
- 17:55Speaker 1: Brionna every single day, and I never forget. We were
- 17:59Speaker 1: in March. One day he walked over to me and
- 18:01Speaker 1: he didn't want to talk, he didn't want everybody to
- 18:04Speaker 1: hear it, but he said to me, Hey, when do
- 18:06Speaker 1: we get to vote for Daniel Cameron. He said, because
- 18:08Speaker 1: I didn't want to vote in when Daniel Cameron runs.
- 18:12Speaker 1: He said, I didn't know anything about him. I never
- 18:14Speaker 1: I don't even know how, you know, he didn't even
- 18:15Speaker 1: know when the election was that the man got elected.
- 18:19Speaker 1: He didn't know because people weren't involved. But I tell
- 18:22Speaker 1: you what I said this about to me, kapalma, to me, kapalma.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Brianna Taylor's mother was the other day and I said, Brianna,
- 18:31Speaker 1: it's a tragic story. It's a huge tragedy. But she
- 18:34Speaker 1: definitely did a lot for her community. She did more
- 18:37Speaker 1: than people who are alive walking the streets every day.
- 18:40Speaker 1: This woman brought people together. She bought national groups into Kentucky.
- 18:44Speaker 1: And remember when she tweeted, Lord take me to a
- 18:47Speaker 1: place that I can't even imagine. She said, I'm gonna
- 18:49Speaker 1: be a star. I'm gonna be somebody. I'm gonna make
- 18:52Speaker 1: a way for my family. And this is this was
- 18:55Speaker 1: in her own tweets. She was talking about her future.
- 18:59Speaker 1: And even though she's not here to be a part
- 19:02Speaker 1: of it, she has set the stage and put a
- 19:05Speaker 1: burning fire under all of us and brought people together,
- 19:08Speaker 1: made us friends with LANDA just brought our relationships closer
- 19:13Speaker 1: and got the people of Kentucky who are unaware of
- 19:16Speaker 1: their political state. They didn't know what was going on.
- 19:19Speaker 1: And now those people are actual leaders, some of them working.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Look at too, K two k is working on anti violence.
- 19:25Speaker 1: He used to be a trouble kid who was in
- 19:27Speaker 1: Indiana getting in and out of trouble, going in and
- 19:30Speaker 1: out of jail. And now he is a leader on
- 19:32Speaker 1: the ground in Kentucky. And that's what we're talking about.
- 19:35Speaker 1: Kata is now an elected office. She was working for
- 19:39Speaker 1: the ACLU, but now she's an actual elected official.
- 19:42Speaker 3: I mean, come on, listen, man, God will do it, Man,
- 19:47Speaker 3: God will do it.
- 19:48Speaker 1: I gotta die. I want to die like that.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:51Speaker 3: You know, unfortunately when we all unfortunately, we're all going
- 19:54Speaker 3: to leave this earth. But the impact what doesn't leave
- 19:58Speaker 3: is the impact that you have while you're here.
- 20:01Speaker 1: So Pliza has been talking a lot, and you know,
- 20:04Speaker 1: I saw some people in the comment section being like, oh,
- 20:06Speaker 1: Plaz continue to rap. I'm like, you must not have
- 20:08Speaker 1: been paying attention to him, or maybe it's because he's
- 20:10Speaker 1: saying something you don't agree with. Because he has been
- 20:14Speaker 1: speaking up on political issues for a long time. But
- 20:17Speaker 1: he I think he got frustrated because or you know,
- 20:20Speaker 1: maybe I don't know if frustrated is the right word.
- 20:22Speaker 1: I don't want to mischaracterize his feelings, but I would
- 20:26Speaker 1: say some frustration because after the event at the Vice
- 20:30Speaker 1: President's house, which I attended with so all of my
- 20:34Speaker 1: friends in the blazing heat, and we had a great
- 20:37Speaker 1: time together. There was a many of people there, some friends,
- 20:40Speaker 1: some folks, but there were people there that I know
- 20:43Speaker 1: very well and they are and every you know, it
- 20:46Speaker 1: was just it was it was like a space that
- 20:49Speaker 1: was full of both political and activists. People who do
- 20:53Speaker 1: organize and work around the nation got together. Of course,
- 20:56Speaker 1: entertainers and others, but you know, we had our own
- 20:59Speaker 1: little hoard. And people were saying that she danced, you know,
- 21:04Speaker 1: she didn't dance, like like, oh, this is like the
- 21:07Speaker 1: first time she's ever heard this song, and look at
- 21:10Speaker 1: how she's dancing, and you know, and they were basically
- 21:13Speaker 1: getting on her because I guess she wasn't dancing black enough,
- 21:18Speaker 1: and you know, people were kind of talking down on her.
- 21:22Speaker 1: And he was like, I'm trying to understand. Kamala Harris
- 21:25Speaker 1: and Vice President they were trying. He was kind of like,
- 21:27Speaker 1: I'm trying to understand that. One thing he did say
- 21:29Speaker 1: in his statement was that he didn't understand what the
- 21:33Speaker 1: problem was, Like why like like he said, no, no,
- 21:35Speaker 1: he said, he didn't say themson. He did say that.
- 21:38Speaker 1: But the thing he said that I was trying to
- 21:40Speaker 1: call attention to was that, you know, forget about what
- 21:43Speaker 1: she did in the past, like what is she doing
- 21:44Speaker 1: wrong right now? And I would say that I get
- 21:48Speaker 1: why some people would say you can't just go based
- 21:52Speaker 1: upon now. You do have to go back and look
- 21:54Speaker 1: at her history and then bring it to four to four,
- 21:58Speaker 1: Like so what is happening to day that is different?
- 22:03Speaker 1: And I and I can say that I definitely feel
- 22:07Speaker 1: this administration could be doing a whole lot more to
- 22:11Speaker 1: address the issues. But one of the things that he
- 22:14Speaker 1: raised was a lot of the problem that people have
- 22:19Speaker 1: with Joe Biden. And I watched it on CNN yesterday
- 22:22Speaker 1: in the morning. I was taking my braids out. I
- 22:24Speaker 1: was listening to Andrew Yang and another group of pundits
- 22:30Speaker 1: on the show talking about how Kamala can run the
- 22:33Speaker 1: country and Kamala this, and Kamala is that and the
- 22:35Speaker 1: third and I agree with Pliaze. First of all, I
- 22:40Speaker 1: made a comment in his thing that said perhaps people
- 22:43Speaker 1: felt she should have been scrubbing the ground. Like, I
- 22:45Speaker 1: don't even understand why we're getting into how the lady dances,
- 22:49Speaker 1: because I know a lot of black people who are
- 22:51Speaker 1: super black that can't dance, that can't stay on tune,
- 22:54Speaker 1: that can't clap on the beat. I know a lot
- 22:57Speaker 1: of people like that. That's not been her focus, you
- 23:00Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. And I don't know why our
- 23:02Speaker 1: qualifier for any black person is whether or not they
- 23:06Speaker 1: dance black enough, or whether or not they've heard all
- 23:09Speaker 1: of these different songs, because some people just have not
- 23:12Speaker 1: had the same experiences. In fact, if you really want
- 23:15Speaker 1: to keep it a buck, it's a lot of our
- 23:18Speaker 1: own people that have children, people our age that have
- 23:21Speaker 1: children that don't even be around black people. They go
- 23:24Speaker 1: to school with other people. They don't dance, you know,
- 23:28Speaker 1: they don't listen to freaking bootyhole Brown, and they would
- 23:32Speaker 1: die if their children had access to that type of stuff. Right,
- 23:36Speaker 1: So Kamala Harris has a different experience, but she still
- 23:40Speaker 1: went to a black school. So the lady clearly has
- 23:44Speaker 1: been around black people because she went to a black school,
- 23:48Speaker 1: so I don't get that. I do understand challenge in
- 23:51Speaker 1: her politics. Cool all for it. Sometimes I challenge it,
- 23:55Speaker 1: sometimes I support it. It depends on where we stand.
- 23:57Speaker 1: But I'm not sure how to qualify it because how
- 24:00Speaker 1: she danced. But more over, listening to the pundits on TV,
- 24:05Speaker 1: the one thing I picked up and I'm not saying
- 24:07Speaker 1: Andrew Yang said this, but he was a part of
- 24:10Speaker 1: the panel. So if people want to go back and
- 24:11Speaker 1: listen to it, you can look up when Andrew Yang
- 24:14Speaker 1: was on TV on CNN. But as a part of
- 24:18Speaker 1: that the pundit tree that I heard, they don't want
- 24:22Speaker 1: a woman period. Hillary Clinton was the most qualified woman.
- 24:27Speaker 1: I don't and I'm not even a Hillary Clinton person.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Me and my mentor a Cora Passes Berry get into
- 24:31Speaker 1: it all the time over Hillary, to the point where
- 24:34Speaker 1: Hillary is off the table. Came to talk about Hillary
- 24:36Speaker 1: no more like me and you talking about the vaccine.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Can't talk, can't just can't. We gotta leave it because
- 24:43Speaker 1: sometimes I do. I am not a Hillary Clinton person,
- 24:47Speaker 1: but I know she was more qualified than Donald Trump
- 24:49Speaker 1: to run this country. I know that, And now looking
- 24:53Speaker 1: at Kamala it just seems like they don't want a woman,
- 24:56Speaker 1: and they damn sure don't want a black woman to
- 24:58Speaker 1: be president. I don't know if Joe, if Joe Biden,
- 25:01Speaker 1: don't be mad.
- 25:02Speaker 3: At me because because that when when when you know,
- 25:04Speaker 3: when the whole election was. I'm like, I want to
- 25:07Speaker 3: give a black woman a chance.
- 25:08Speaker 2: We don't.
- 25:09Speaker 3: I don't watch white men run this this country into
- 25:11Speaker 3: the ground for a bunch of years. We finally got
- 25:14Speaker 3: an opportunity to give a black woman an opportunity I'm
- 25:17Speaker 3: gonna get.
- 25:17Speaker 2: I'm a vote for her every time.
- 25:19Speaker 3: If it's her and another white man, I'm always gonna
- 25:23Speaker 3: both for it just ain't gonna work. It's just not
- 25:25Speaker 3: for me. It's just I'm gonna give her opportunity. You
- 25:28Speaker 3: want to bring up her history, I can dig into
- 25:30Speaker 3: every one of these white men's history and show you
- 25:33Speaker 3: some ship that they did that wasn't for us, that
- 25:35Speaker 3: we didn't like, you.
- 25:36Speaker 2: Know what I'm saying. And it's just the reality a
- 25:38Speaker 2: lot of us.
- 25:39Speaker 3: We we we we have to stop being pigeonholed by
- 25:43Speaker 3: by you know, by small shit, not really small ship,
- 25:46Speaker 3: by history.
- 25:48Speaker 2: Now we can't do like we can't.
- 25:50Speaker 3: We have to acknowledge history, right, we gotta acknowledge things,
- 25:53Speaker 3: but we gotta understand that sometimes people evolved.
- 25:55Speaker 2: Sometimes your thought pattern changes. If we if we if we're.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Holding everyone to the things they did, they passed, and
- 26:02Speaker 3: I'm just not nobody you know what I'm saying, because
- 26:04Speaker 3: I know I've done shit in my past that people
- 26:07Speaker 3: will be like, that's fucked up.
- 26:08Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I've been so at the
- 26:10Speaker 2: end of the.
- 26:11Speaker 1: Day and in our recent past, in your recent past,
- 26:14Speaker 1: and you still don't want to be held to that
- 26:16Speaker 1: because you might.
- 26:17Speaker 2: Have learned exactly.
- 26:19Speaker 3: You just want to continue to grow and evolve, and
- 26:21Speaker 3: people give you opportunity based on who you are now
- 26:25Speaker 3: and and see those things. So when I look at
- 26:27Speaker 3: Kama Up, you know, I see as a black woman,
- 26:30Speaker 3: Yeah she was in you know, she was a prosecutor,
- 26:34Speaker 3: and nobody.
- 26:35Speaker 2: Likes to prosecutor. Prosecutor and judges.
- 26:38Speaker 3: They did not ever get the best, you know, especially
- 26:42Speaker 3: when you come from our communities, Like that's just the cops,
- 26:46Speaker 3: the prosecutors, all of those people is the people that
- 26:49Speaker 3: we don't want to talk about. We don't uphold the
- 26:51Speaker 3: system exactly, the uphold the system, but at the end
- 26:54Speaker 3: of the day when when we was being taught how
- 26:57Speaker 3: to get jobs and all that, those were the prevalent
- 26:59Speaker 3: jobs that we wanted to be lawyers, we wanted to
- 27:01Speaker 3: be in jail, we wanted to you know, we want
- 27:03Speaker 3: to do those things. And being a cop in our
- 27:06Speaker 3: community was actually one of the easiest jobs to get
- 27:09Speaker 3: if you just had a high school diploma, you know what,
- 27:12Speaker 3: so and you didn't have no no felonies and that.
- 27:14Speaker 3: So a lot of people it's like, yo, I can
- 27:16Speaker 3: get a bunch of money, get a good job, paying job,
- 27:20Speaker 3: and they did it, you know what. I'm saying that
- 27:22Speaker 3: that's why you have some corrupt cops some good cops,
- 27:24Speaker 3: because some of them were still in the street life
- 27:27Speaker 3: and they utilized the badge to carry out a lot
- 27:31Speaker 3: of different ship. But I'm just saying that to say
- 27:33Speaker 3: that Kamala Harris deserves the opportunity to do what she does,
- 27:38Speaker 3: I don't see do it.
- 27:39Speaker 1: I mean, right now, she is the vice president and therefore,
- 27:43Speaker 1: and you know, I don't you know, you ain't gonna
- 27:46Speaker 1: see bus so much because she's the vice president.
- 27:50Speaker 3: I don't think that I've ever seen but so much
- 27:53Speaker 3: that anybody, no, I mean, like I really don't want
- 27:56Speaker 3: to when we talk about vice presidency, I can't even
- 28:00Speaker 3: who call moves to the vice presidents, right, you know, But.
- 28:03Speaker 1: The vice president does not run the country. The vice
- 28:07Speaker 1: assists the president in whatever it is that he is doing. Now,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I get it, people want want to be like us,
- 28:15Speaker 1: and we realize everybody like us running that motherfucker rip
- 28:19Speaker 1: it down, like tear it up. And people have the
- 28:22Speaker 1: right to feel that way. Understanding, we as black people
- 28:26Speaker 1: are dealing with so much hell that we need people
- 28:28Speaker 1: that do take over, that do speak out that do
- 28:31Speaker 1: I get it, But that's not what the presidency. That's
- 28:34Speaker 1: not what the vice president does, and that is it's
- 28:37Speaker 1: just not the system the way that it operates, and
- 28:40Speaker 1: you have to use it as a tool. And what
- 28:41Speaker 1: we continue to say is that we have to go
- 28:44Speaker 1: within it and fight to get parts of what we
- 28:48Speaker 1: need done or at least to stop the bleeding in
- 28:51Speaker 1: places where bad things are happening. So now the hunt
- 28:55Speaker 1: to old hunt body, which you know, anyway, I don't care.
- 29:01Speaker 3: Like what happened either, Like Hunters, he gets high.
- 29:07Speaker 2: He's a kid.
- 29:08Speaker 3: He's like a lot of people have a strange kids,
- 29:12Speaker 3: like he's one of those kids like he's just the
- 29:14Speaker 3: rotten apple man.
- 29:15Speaker 2: You got a bun. You're like, damn this he.
- 29:17Speaker 3: Just can't do always can't get right. Man, he don't
- 29:22Speaker 3: give fuck. He rebels. He said, I'm gonna get hi,
- 29:24Speaker 3: I'm and smoke some crack. I'm gonna go out there,
- 29:26Speaker 3: I'm gonna try to make me some money. I'm gonna
- 29:28Speaker 3: use whatever. Yeah, it's just who he is, like, and
- 29:33Speaker 3: they've run it and I get it. It's a political strategy.
- 29:36Speaker 3: Like you you launch this impeachment ship. You do all
- 29:40Speaker 3: of this ship because you want to say if it's
- 29:43Speaker 3: smoke is fired, right, And if you do, the more
- 29:46Speaker 3: bad press that you can get for the president, the
- 29:49Speaker 3: more easier it is for you to be like, we
- 29:51Speaker 3: need to change this. Look at son, I know he
- 29:53Speaker 3: got something to do it. And people want to run
- 29:55Speaker 3: with the conspiracy theory anyway, So as long was you
- 29:58Speaker 3: giving him something to hold on too, that's I realized
- 30:01Speaker 3: that people enjoy the conspiracy theory, right. There a lot
- 30:05Speaker 3: of people who love the gotta be something, it has
- 30:09Speaker 3: to be more, it has to be more. And when
- 30:12Speaker 3: when those little conspiracy theories turn out to be right,
- 30:15Speaker 3: sometimes they feel so good. God, they tell them anything
- 30:19Speaker 3: like they're so good when it gotta be something wrong,
- 30:23Speaker 3: you know, and you know that that this feeds into it.
- 30:26Speaker 3: So Hunter is giving these people all they want. He
- 30:29Speaker 3: got three three gun chargers, indictment. They're happy, they get guns,
- 30:36Speaker 3: three guns, the three gun I think the three gun chargers,
- 30:42Speaker 3: that's what I'm see. I think it's three charges. Three guns.
- 30:45Speaker 3: He was and died on three. I don't know if
- 30:46Speaker 3: it was three guns or three gun charges. I have
- 30:48Speaker 3: to look into that exactly, but I know that on
- 30:51Speaker 3: seeing then they said he has three gun possession chargers.
- 30:57Speaker 2: So but gonna do a little time, man, I don't know.
- 31:02Speaker 1: He might. Well he got that's the point.
- 31:05Speaker 2: That's the problem.
- 31:05Speaker 1: That's why, because then they try to clear him up
- 31:09Speaker 1: some other ship and people act like we don't get
- 31:12Speaker 1: how this game goes. We know that because he's the
- 31:15Speaker 1: president's child, he's going to get a little bit more
- 31:19Speaker 1: cover for some bullshit that he did. But first of all,
- 31:22Speaker 1: let me just be clear. Yes, I want the system
- 31:25Speaker 1: to work, but I would be I would be a
- 31:28Speaker 1: big fat liar. I would be a big fat liar
- 31:36Speaker 1: if I did not say to you that I want
- 31:39Speaker 1: to hope that because my uncle worked at the police station,
- 31:44Speaker 1: that God forbid I get into some trouble. At least
- 31:46Speaker 1: I'm gonna get a little bit of a nicer treatment.
- 31:49Speaker 1: I might get some good blankets, might get a little
- 31:52Speaker 1: bit of understanding. Maybe the maybe that the chief gonna
- 31:57Speaker 1: listen to me a little bit listen close. Uh, And
- 32:01Speaker 1: that's the benefit of power.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Yeah, what what do I what do the benefit me
- 32:06Speaker 3: to get in the office and I can't be able
- 32:08Speaker 3: to do a little sell for my own fai.
- 32:10Speaker 1: I mean we get it right now, you should now
- 32:13Speaker 1: he now if it's some ship that is over the
- 32:16Speaker 1: top illegal, which that's why they came back again, and
- 32:19Speaker 1: that's what they're supposed to do.
- 32:20Speaker 2: To your point, jail situation is people pay. Will you
- 32:24Speaker 2: think niggas pay one hundreds thousand dollars for a lawyer? Right,
- 32:28Speaker 2: you pay.
- 32:29Speaker 3: He ain't gonna get the same thing with one hundred
- 32:32Speaker 3: thousand dollars lawyer that he gonna get with eighteen b
- 32:35Speaker 3: or a motherfucker quarter. That's just the bottom line. You
- 32:38Speaker 3: paid for your freedom, You pay for the best. Look
- 32:41Speaker 3: that this is how the the American justice system works. Now,
- 32:44Speaker 3: if somebody and you do certain ship that it's like, okay,
- 32:47Speaker 3: we ain't with so much. We can make sure they
- 32:49Speaker 3: don't kill you. We're gonna get you. We can probably
- 32:51Speaker 3: get you natural life or maybe twenty five. But you're gonna,
- 32:54Speaker 3: you're gonna, You're gonna do what you Yeah.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I'm saying, I get what's goinging on. I understand the
- 33:03Speaker 1: whole thing.
- 33:04Speaker 3: The hood that got three gun charges, that got a
- 33:07Speaker 3: little probation man for the first time.
- 33:11Speaker 1: So it's three counts. So you know, production is making
- 33:13Speaker 1: sure we got it together. And also I have to
- 33:15Speaker 1: correct something I put up on Instagram that's wrong the
- 33:17Speaker 1: other day, which is fine, like we are humans, but.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Yeah we are.
- 33:23Speaker 1: We ain't perfect funny conversation. Listen, we got minutes to
- 33:29Speaker 1: go perfect. But I'm ready to But I'm ready to
- 33:35Speaker 1: correct it and say what I wrote the other day
- 33:37Speaker 1: was wrong. It was it was not exact, and it
- 33:40Speaker 1: wasn't even what I was trying to say. But being fast,
- 33:43Speaker 1: being emotional, I made a mistake. So anyway, Production sent
- 33:48Speaker 1: us something in the stage that says. Biden was indicted
- 33:51Speaker 1: Thursday in federal court in Delaware on three counts tied
- 33:55Speaker 1: to possession of a gun while using narcotics. So you
- 33:59Speaker 1: getting and you got a gun, you ain't supposed to
- 34:01Speaker 1: have it. I don't even think keep supposed to have
- 34:03Speaker 1: me go through You gotta go through it, but I'm
- 34:08Speaker 1: not gonna see it and act like I don't understand
- 34:10Speaker 1: how the system operates. And that to your point, even
- 34:14Speaker 1: with Pooky them, if you know the right people, or
- 34:17Speaker 1: you got the money, or you got all the things
- 34:20Speaker 1: you need, you gonna get a little bit of different treatment.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Doesn't mean you ain't going to jail, but you if
- 34:26Speaker 1: your lawyer know the judge and the DA it has
- 34:30Speaker 1: a good relationship with those two people more than bally,
- 34:36Speaker 1: they gonna have a little bit of leniency. That's why
- 34:38Speaker 1: some lawyers. I've had lawyers say to me, oh you okay,
- 34:43Speaker 1: I say, hey, can you help out with this person's case?
- 34:45Speaker 1: They go which judge?
- 34:46Speaker 3: Is that?
- 34:47Speaker 1: Why you think they asked that question because they know
- 34:51Speaker 1: certain judges. She don't like me. Every time I go
- 34:54Speaker 1: before her, she don't like me. And I'm gonna tell
- 34:56Speaker 1: you what it comes down to, some simple shit. I
- 34:58Speaker 1: had a black man lawyer tell me that the judge
- 35:02Speaker 1: tried to because these are regular people. I think when
- 35:04Speaker 1: people see you sitting as a judge. You're not you
- 35:07Speaker 1: as a regular person. When you come down and take
- 35:09Speaker 1: the rollbo off, you steal you out here fucking sucking
- 35:12Speaker 1: and doing everything that everybody else is doing. And the
- 35:16Speaker 1: judge try to get with him, and he didn't want.
- 35:18Speaker 1: You know the lawyer I'm talking about. You already know
- 35:21Speaker 1: the lawyer I'm talking about the judge try to get
- 35:23Speaker 1: with him. He didn't want to get with the lawyer.
- 35:25Speaker 1: And ultimate I mean with the judge. And ultimately every
- 35:28Speaker 1: time he goes before her, it's not that she does
- 35:31Speaker 1: anything illegal. He's not saying that.
- 35:37Speaker 3: You give me none that good good. It's gonna be
- 35:40Speaker 3: some pride, don't worry about it. Yeah, you're gonna figure
- 35:43Speaker 3: this out. Gonna be the only one, you know what
- 35:46Speaker 3: I'm saying.
- 35:49Speaker 1: Your client, whatever the look though, what did Ricky ruse.
- 35:54Speaker 3: Are all the rest of that ship ain't no key
- 36:00Speaker 3: none of that. You got a chance to keep the key.
- 36:04Speaker 1: That brings me to my thought of the day, sir, so,
- 36:13Speaker 1: I also saw a Plausa's comments. How first of all,
- 36:16Speaker 1: he also wrote the thing, I want to make sure
- 36:19Speaker 1: we represent everything he said, because this is so true
- 36:22Speaker 1: that the Trump administration and all the Trump trumpy trumpy people,
- 36:27Speaker 1: all his people, his administration, his people, the trunkers, the
- 36:30Speaker 1: Maga people. They keep telling you the system is corrupt
- 36:34Speaker 1: until they want to use it, because when they're using
- 36:37Speaker 1: it for themselves, they're not saying, how could Hunter Biden
- 36:41Speaker 1: be indicted? The system is corrupt. They completely fine with
- 36:46Speaker 1: him suffering the consequences and be it because it makes
- 36:50Speaker 1: the president look bad. But when it's them indicted on anything,
- 36:55Speaker 1: it's a weird chrying the system is corrupt, so on
- 36:57Speaker 1: and so forth.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Like the system is always working fine, it's working just fine.
- 37:05Speaker 3: Whenever it's we catching hell, I don't get what happened.
- 37:09Speaker 3: We can be getting arrested and throw them to the ground,
- 37:13Speaker 3: beat up for two dollars crimes and it's not a
- 37:16Speaker 3: witch hunt. Niggas is doing jail ten years because they stole.
- 37:21Speaker 3: Nobody on that side says a world. The system is fine.
- 37:27Speaker 3: They put these judges. Do y'all keep putting them judges
- 37:29Speaker 3: up there? That's trying to throw away the key. Then
- 37:32Speaker 3: you came talking about locking people up and death penalty
- 37:36Speaker 3: for drugs is fine, Everything is fine, but you lock
- 37:39Speaker 3: up one of them Trump Trump get them as a
- 37:42Speaker 3: witch hunt. I can't believe it. It's just unbel It's
- 37:46Speaker 3: the worst thing ever. Trump got all type of shit
- 37:50Speaker 3: that he got, all types of emails January sixth, all
- 37:54Speaker 3: type of shit, but somebody get him as a witch
- 37:57Speaker 3: hunt and it's on record.
- 38:00Speaker 2: System is broken.
- 38:01Speaker 3: It's terribly We got the criminal on cameras and shit,
- 38:05Speaker 3: and we locking them up.
- 38:07Speaker 1: Yeah, absolutely right, but s he here's my little quick
- 38:10Speaker 1: thought of the day. I'm reading the comments because of
- 38:13Speaker 1: course I said something, so then all the hate is
- 38:15Speaker 1: start tagging me to tell me I ain't shit, I
- 38:18Speaker 1: stole money, you know, the same thing, the same sub
- 38:22Speaker 1: And then they keep saying both of us are paid, right,
- 38:25Speaker 1: me and plies, we've been paid. And you know what
- 38:28Speaker 1: I want to say, What if we just believe what
- 38:31Speaker 1: we're saying? Like, what makes you think that we got
- 38:34Speaker 1: to be paid because you believe something different from people?
- 38:38Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 38:39Speaker 1: I don't get it to say I'm dumb or you
- 38:43Speaker 1: or I'm somebody you don't deal with, you don't like me.
- 38:46Speaker 1: Why do you have to say I'm paid because I
- 38:48Speaker 1: don't believe what you believe. I don't think you paid
- 38:51Speaker 1: because you have a different opinion.
- 38:53Speaker 3: No, because you know why, because you actually have a
- 38:56Speaker 3: profile and your opinion resonates with a lot of people,
- 39:00Speaker 3: and it's valuable.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Right. So when you have a valuable opinion and it
- 39:04Speaker 2: goes against someone.
- 39:07Speaker 3: Someone else's opinion, who don't think their opinion is as
- 39:11Speaker 3: valuable as yours adult or it's probably not as valuable
- 39:14Speaker 3: as yours in a grand scheme of things, they the
- 39:18Speaker 3: only recourse they have, and the only other thing they
- 39:21Speaker 3: could come up with is the same motherfucking spewing bullshit
- 39:27Speaker 3: that you paid for this. Everything is paid. I don't
- 39:30Speaker 3: think that a woman should be beat. Yeah, you're simp.
- 39:33Speaker 3: They're paying you off. You know you're doing it for No.
- 39:36Speaker 3: I just don't think women should get beat I just
- 39:38Speaker 3: you know, I don't. I don't see a reason for
- 39:40Speaker 3: a man to physically punch and brutalize a fucking woman.
- 39:44Speaker 2: That if somebody's paying me this, I wish they would
- 39:47Speaker 2: pay me to say that.
- 39:48Speaker 3: I really wish that I was getting paid for the ship,
- 39:52Speaker 3: because yeah, I ready go through the ship and this
- 39:57Speaker 3: is how I feel anyway. So if somebody was paying
- 40:01Speaker 3: to think the way I think already, this would be
- 40:04Speaker 3: the easiest.
- 40:05Speaker 1: Job in the world. Hey, I mean, what I'm trying
- 40:10Speaker 1: to say is that if I want, I don't want
- 40:12Speaker 1: to know where the check is. I don't want anybody
- 40:16Speaker 1: I listen as I get older and I am becoming
- 40:22Speaker 1: much more in tune with like my spiritual understanding in
- 40:27Speaker 1: the world and stuff I want to be. And I'm
- 40:31Speaker 1: not going to sit here and say that every terrible
- 40:33Speaker 1: place about me or I wouldn't say terrible, but every
- 40:37Speaker 1: dark thing or every bad thought that I have or
- 40:42Speaker 1: bad action that I've taken, I'm just putting it on display.
- 40:45Speaker 1: But of course not that's nobody's reality. Everybody has something
- 40:49Speaker 1: that they hold that it's like, damn, I hate I
- 40:52Speaker 1: did that thing or I said this thing, or even
- 40:55Speaker 1: the way that I feel about certain people. You don't
- 40:57Speaker 1: always want you don't want the world to know that.
- 41:00Speaker 1: So cool, But I want to be very transparent in
- 41:05Speaker 1: this moment right here with you. If it is a
- 41:08Speaker 1: check that is available for the purpose of me being
- 41:18Speaker 1: able to speak my mind and my truth, I would
- 41:21Speaker 1: like it. I need it.
- 41:24Speaker 2: It's the best check ever.
- 41:26Speaker 1: I need it. I really do. I am. I am,
- 41:30Speaker 1: I am soliciting the check. God's you are listening to
- 41:35Speaker 1: this today, and all I gotta do is say exactly
- 41:38Speaker 1: what I've been saying because this is how I feel.
- 41:41Speaker 1: Please write me a check because I need it.
- 41:46Speaker 2: I need please.
- 41:53Speaker 1: Okay, family, So friends come to Street Politicians, and we
- 41:59Speaker 1: love our friends on this show. We have one who's
- 42:01Speaker 1: actually been with us before, but it's coming back today
- 42:05Speaker 1: to talk about something really, really important. And I'm so
- 42:07Speaker 1: happy we're discussing this today because I feel like this
- 42:11Speaker 1: used to be my life, the topic that we're going
- 42:13Speaker 1: to talk about, and I don't know what happened to it.
- 42:16Speaker 1: So I'm hoping that this woman's energy is about to
- 42:19Speaker 1: revive some real, real stuff in Harlem that has been
- 42:24Speaker 1: so important to us for so long, so much legacy.
- 42:27Speaker 1: She is an author, She is a TV and radio host.
- 42:32Speaker 1: She is a celebrity influencer, and a friend not just
- 42:37Speaker 1: to us, but a friend to the people of Harlem,
- 42:39Speaker 1: a friend to people all over the world. Beby Smith
- 42:43Speaker 1: is the go to black girl, the go to black woman.
- 42:47Speaker 1: I still like to say black girl, Yeah me too,
- 42:51Speaker 1: who rocks. Thank you so much, Bev for coming to
- 42:54Speaker 1: Street Politicians today.
- 42:56Speaker 4: You know I love you and my song always and forever,
- 42:59Speaker 4: and thank you for having me and thank you always.
- 43:02Speaker 4: Both of you guys are always representing for Harlem. You know,
- 43:05Speaker 4: my son, I know you uptown overall, but I mean,
- 43:09Speaker 4: you know you always in Harlem streets representing, and like
- 43:12Speaker 4: you said, we need that energy. We have now the
- 43:15Speaker 4: fifty fourth annual African American Day Parade, and that's incredible.
- 43:20Speaker 4: And one of the things I've been getting to Mika
- 43:22Speaker 4: and my son is that people are like, why isn't
- 43:24Speaker 4: our parade as big as the Dominican Day Parade all
- 43:28Speaker 4: these other parades, And I say it starts with us
- 43:30Speaker 4: as a community. We have to come out. People are like,
- 43:33Speaker 4: we're the celebrities. I'm like, we don't need celebrities. We
- 43:36Speaker 4: need to be the celebrities. We have enough lot amazing
- 43:39Speaker 4: people in Harlem who if they really showed up and
- 43:43Speaker 4: showed out, and if everyone got together and did every block,
- 43:46Speaker 4: did a float, every poping block, because there's a lot
- 43:49Speaker 4: of popping blocks in Harlem. The floats are literally twenty
- 43:52Speaker 4: five hundred dollars, and oh, come down and march down
- 43:57Speaker 4: Seventh Avenue and show our pride in our community pride.
- 44:02Speaker 4: So that's what I'm doing. I have my flow, my
- 44:05Speaker 4: flow is a little customs, so of course a little
- 44:06Speaker 4: bit more than twenty five podcasts. I got merchandise, I got,
- 44:11Speaker 4: you know, the church fans. I got towels, and I
- 44:14Speaker 4: have three organizations that I'm working with. I'm working with
- 44:17Speaker 4: Harlem United, which is an HIV AIDS advocacy group, working
- 44:22Speaker 4: with I think you might know these folks the go
- 44:25Speaker 4: Hart Dance Studio, well from three years old at eighteen
- 44:30Speaker 4: years old, who are in a dance studio where they're
- 44:33Speaker 4: getting scholarships and they're being kept off the streets and
- 44:35Speaker 4: they're being able to hone in on their creativity. And
- 44:39Speaker 4: then the third one, I know, you know Stephanie McGraw
- 44:42Speaker 4: from Warm Domestic helping black women who have been the
- 44:47Speaker 4: victims of domestic violence. And my son, I know that's
- 44:50Speaker 4: near and dear to your heart because you don't play
- 44:52Speaker 4: no games about black women organizations that I'm doing fundraising for.
- 44:58Speaker 2: That's so dope, you know.
- 44:59Speaker 3: I love love the African American Day Parade, the Home Prey,
- 45:03Speaker 3: and I was actually honored.
- 45:05Speaker 2: I've been to Marshall on numerous years.
- 45:08Speaker 1: A Grand.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Let's make sure we get it right. I've been to
- 45:13Speaker 3: Grandmashall and I just like you said, I want to
- 45:18Speaker 3: I want to feel the energy of the parade again, right,
- 45:21Speaker 3: I want I wanted. I wanted to get back to
- 45:24Speaker 3: what it was when I was a young kid. I
- 45:26Speaker 3: used to love just to come down.
- 45:28Speaker 2: Here and beat there.
- 45:29Speaker 3: I just don't think at this point it's being marketed
- 45:33Speaker 3: like it should be.
- 45:34Speaker 2: I don't think that, you know what I'm saying.
- 45:35Speaker 3: I think people enough people know, Like if I didn't
- 45:38Speaker 3: know you, or I didn't know directly the person who
- 45:41Speaker 3: runs it and I run into them in Harlem all
- 45:43Speaker 3: the time, I wouldn't even know that it's here.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Right.
- 45:46Speaker 3: Why Why isn't it being promoted on social media? Why
- 45:49Speaker 3: isn't Hot ninety seven saying hey, we're doing this? How
- 45:52Speaker 3: is it one o five? Like, why aren't staples in
- 45:55Speaker 3: our community and major platforms, you know, really advocating for
- 45:59Speaker 3: like it should because it's a big thing, and it's
- 46:01Speaker 3: always a big thing.
- 46:03Speaker 2: So I just want to get back to that.
- 46:06Speaker 4: I agree. I think you're so spot on with that.
- 46:09Speaker 4: And you know, while we can't ever really say why
- 46:13Speaker 4: these other places are not doing the promotion, I really
- 46:16Speaker 4: do believe it starts with us, you know what I mean?
- 46:19Speaker 4: I think that one Jasmin who is heading up the parade,
- 46:25Speaker 4: but she took over from her grandfather who passed away.
- 46:28Speaker 4: She's a one man band. That's crazy right there, right.
- 46:33Speaker 4: And then two, you know, she doesn't have any sponsorship
- 46:38Speaker 4: people that are going out there and selling sponsorships for her.
- 46:41Speaker 4: Because that's how all the big parades really get it done.
- 46:43Speaker 4: And that's my whole thing. Right If we, all of us,
- 46:45Speaker 4: people who mean something to the culture, came out and
- 46:50Speaker 4: and really got people excited about the parade, it would
- 46:53Speaker 4: be a much bigger parade.
- 46:55Speaker 1: You know. I you know, I want us to just
- 46:58Speaker 1: do it. I don't want to cast any negativity over
- 47:03Speaker 1: the conversation, but I'm sure you know of some of
- 47:06Speaker 1: the reasons why people have not been involved. And hopefully
- 47:11Speaker 1: this new energy that you're bringing is an evolution of
- 47:14Speaker 1: where we can go because I remember when it was
- 47:17Speaker 1: the shit, like when the parade was a big deal.
- 47:21Speaker 1: In fact, in my book that I'm writing now, I'm
- 47:24Speaker 1: almost finished. I'm on chapter eighteen. You know how hard, honey,
- 47:27Speaker 1: I know how hard, honey, honey. Okay, I'm on chapter eighteen.
- 47:33Speaker 1: I have twenty one chapters and I'm editing. Actually, so
- 47:36Speaker 1: the book is written. I'm editing that. I'm finishing actually
- 47:40Speaker 1: chapter nineteen. Now wow, And I know I got a
- 47:44Speaker 1: vent about that real quick. I got stuck on a
- 47:48Speaker 1: timeline issue with a woman who's helping me write it.
- 47:51Speaker 1: And you know how when you get in that spot
- 47:54Speaker 1: where you gotta go my songs book is about to
- 47:56Speaker 1: come out as well, you get in that second book.
- 47:59Speaker 1: You get in that and it's like, what the hell happened? Now?
- 48:02Speaker 1: You got to go all the way back to try
- 48:05Speaker 1: to make sure that the thing is consistent. Writing books
- 48:08Speaker 1: is something you don't understand.
- 48:10Speaker 4: You do a memoir like that. The facts have to
- 48:13Speaker 4: be factoring right period.
- 48:16Speaker 1: Because we get to wait to break one.
- 48:18Speaker 4: Yeah. Yeah, so I know what you're going through.
- 48:21Speaker 1: So I'm in. So one of the things that is
- 48:24Speaker 1: in the early part of the book is about my
- 48:27Speaker 1: mother didn't really like She wasn't like crowds and parades
- 48:29Speaker 1: and all of that. But my father, that is one
- 48:32Speaker 1: of the youngest memories I had of him waiting until
- 48:36Speaker 1: I came home from church on Sunday because my mother
- 48:38Speaker 1: took me to church. My father would wait until I
- 48:40Speaker 1: got home and when he when I got there, I
- 48:43Speaker 1: got myself something to eat, put on my damn near
- 48:46Speaker 1: easter outfit because remember you had a special outfit to
- 48:50Speaker 1: go to the parade.
- 48:52Speaker 4: Hey, I hear that he would.
- 48:54Speaker 1: I mean my father would take me out and he
- 48:55Speaker 1: would put me either up on the light posts or
- 48:59Speaker 1: on his shoulders to be able to watch those bad
- 49:03Speaker 1: ass black girls and guys coming down giving it up
- 49:09Speaker 1: in that parade. And it was and it was popped outside.
- 49:13Speaker 4: Yeah. Well, you know they have the HBCU bands and
- 49:17Speaker 4: the major rets coming out this year, so that's gonna
- 49:20Speaker 4: be exciting. I have DJ S and S on my float. Okay, yeah,
- 49:30Speaker 4: I got I got my tequila already on deck, you know.
- 49:35Speaker 4: So I'm really trying to make sure that we have
- 49:38Speaker 4: the energy there. And you know, for us, our friend Wadin,
- 49:42Speaker 4: you know, he's one of the Grand Marshals, so you
- 49:45Speaker 4: already know that that's gonna be a full on movie.
- 49:47Speaker 1: Tell us the three organizations again, It's.
- 49:50Speaker 4: Hallam United, It's Warm, which is we all really matter,
- 49:55Speaker 4: and then it's the Go Hard Dance Studio. And these
- 49:57Speaker 4: are all grassroots organizations us guys. You know, there's a
- 50:01Speaker 4: lot of big organizations that give money to Harlem, but
- 50:04Speaker 4: they're not based in Harlem. These are based in Harlem,
- 50:08Speaker 4: and these are people from the community. You know. Stephanie
- 50:11Speaker 4: just decided.
- 50:12Speaker 1: Every day Stephanie on it. Every day.
- 50:15Speaker 4: Every day she's walking through the streets and grabbing women
- 50:18Speaker 4: that are being in abusive relationships, and she's like, I
- 50:21Speaker 4: got a place.
- 50:21Speaker 1: For you, you know.
- 50:23Speaker 4: Go hard dance studio. She just decided because her daughter
- 50:27Speaker 4: was being denied the opportunity to do hip hop, dance
- 50:30Speaker 4: and a classical dance studio in Harlem which will remain nameless.
- 50:36Speaker 4: She said, Oh no, then I need to create something
- 50:38Speaker 4: so the girls who want to do hip hop but
- 50:40Speaker 4: also want to do ballet, they have a home to
- 50:42Speaker 4: come to. And then Harlem United. It's on the streets
- 50:45Speaker 4: doing needle exchange. You're doing the testing for finsanol and
- 50:50Speaker 4: the drugs. They're like doing all of that stuff as
- 50:52Speaker 4: well as HIV and AIDS. They're doing all these things,
- 50:56Speaker 4: are doing the work. I wanted to get grassroots. I
- 50:58Speaker 4: wanted to get in it. Yeah, because that's what you do.
- 51:05Speaker 1: That's the thing I think we love about her. Right
- 51:07Speaker 1: min It's like you can see Bev and Greece twelve
- 51:13Speaker 1: o'clock and then in the night. Somehow you have made
- 51:17Speaker 1: it back for a small event that one of us
- 51:21Speaker 1: may be throwing, or somebody else that's just doing a
- 51:23Speaker 1: little fundraiser for their community. You are the truly a
- 51:27Speaker 1: friend to the stars, and the people thank you.
- 51:30Speaker 4: As are you guys. You guys do it all day.
- 51:33Speaker 4: And I think that it's important for the folks who
- 51:37Speaker 4: are your listeners and your viewers to understand that when
- 51:41Speaker 4: you get to a certain point, it doesn't mean now,
- 51:44Speaker 4: all of a sudden, you turn your back on who
- 51:46Speaker 4: really made you. Because if all of us are being honest,
- 51:49Speaker 4: it's really outside that made us. If without outside, we
- 51:52Speaker 4: don't get to even have the swagger that allows us
- 51:55Speaker 4: to be in all these big fancy rooms that we
- 51:57Speaker 4: are in. It doesn't allow us to go out into
- 51:59Speaker 4: the spaces. But it's really our grit, right, and it's
- 52:03Speaker 4: our and it's our street smarts as well as our
- 52:06Speaker 4: book smart. But that Harlem grit, that Bronx grit, that
- 52:10Speaker 4: just New York City grit, is what gives us the energy,
- 52:14Speaker 4: the vim, the vigor to go forth. So we got
- 52:16Speaker 4: to give back.
- 52:18Speaker 2: You're always giving back. You always do so much.
- 52:21Speaker 3: I don't even know you just don't do so much
- 52:24Speaker 3: Like Bev is just the all around, you just do.
- 52:28Speaker 2: So much things. You always got something that's amazing. I
- 52:31Speaker 2: go to your page and I'd be like, look at that.
- 52:33Speaker 4: The next year, you guys can be a part of
- 52:36Speaker 4: it as well. I would love, love, love Tamika and
- 52:39Speaker 4: my you guys, you know street politicians.
- 52:44Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah we should, and please send us the flyers
- 52:47Speaker 1: and whatever else, so at least we can do a
- 52:50Speaker 1: lot of heavy promotion and just make sure people know.
- 52:52Speaker 1: I think that's the thing is that we got to
- 52:54Speaker 1: ask people directly to help us promote it because I
- 52:58Speaker 1: want to see it come back. I want to see
- 52:59Speaker 1: it come back for our children. I know it gave
- 53:01Speaker 1: me a lot of inspiration, and I want to see
- 53:05Speaker 1: that happen for our young girls because I think with
- 53:09Speaker 1: the and I don't ever put down any of these
- 53:13Speaker 1: young women whatever they're doing. I don't necessarily agree or whatever,
- 53:16Speaker 1: but I understand people have to evolve, they grow, they're
- 53:19Speaker 1: going to go through periods. But there's a lot of
- 53:22Speaker 1: content out there that is not good for the minds
- 53:26Speaker 1: of our young women. And instead of us trying to
- 53:30Speaker 1: fight that, because you know, you can only do but
- 53:33Speaker 1: so much. You got to provide them a different image
- 53:38Speaker 1: and we just need to make it fool. So thanks BEV.
- 53:40Speaker 4: And we also can still be sexy and vibrant and
- 53:43Speaker 4: all the things, because I mean, when I'm wearing, it's
- 53:45Speaker 4: gonna be and you see the girls as out, so
- 53:47Speaker 4: it's all coming on the regular on the regular. But
- 53:50Speaker 4: we can still be flying. We can be all those things.
- 53:53Speaker 4: And it doesn't mean like because we're doing the right
- 53:55Speaker 4: thing or we're doing good things that we need to
- 53:57Speaker 4: be like you know the outset. Yeah, we too fly
- 54:02Speaker 4: for all of that.
- 54:02Speaker 1: I don't live.
- 54:03Speaker 2: That's I don't.
- 54:07Speaker 1: I'm just telling y'all I would not even be a
- 54:10Speaker 1: portion of my true self if I didn't not let
- 54:14Speaker 1: y'all see. Sometimes the girls is out. Sometimes I might
- 54:18Speaker 1: be twerking. I go out. I was on a podcast
- 54:21Speaker 1: the other day. The lady said, you go to the
- 54:22Speaker 1: strip club? I said, you go to the strip club?
- 54:25Speaker 3: Like?
- 54:26Speaker 1: Yeah, Like when I go to a city and I
- 54:29Speaker 1: arrived at nine o'clock at night, everything is closed. Anyway,
- 54:33Speaker 1: I hang out where the.
- 54:34Speaker 4: People wings and good and it might meet.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Somebody, might meet somebody, because sometimes it be some you
- 54:44Speaker 1: know what I'm saying exactly exactly.
- 54:47Speaker 4: But we can also still do until for him.
- 54:50Speaker 1: When I get up in the morning, I go down
- 54:52Speaker 1: to the state House and tell a white man about
- 54:55Speaker 1: what he's doing to my people. And don't stop. It's
- 54:58Speaker 1: not like I oversleep the rat I'm doing both. That's okay.
- 55:02Speaker 1: I'm forty, So that's it.
- 55:05Speaker 4: His talent is all about balance, and that's what we
- 55:08Speaker 4: do and that's what we give. And this is good
- 55:10Speaker 4: examples for the people that are looking and listening, and
- 55:13Speaker 4: they need to know that it's all about balance. That's right. Oh,
- 55:16Speaker 4: got to have a balance, got to have the balance
- 55:19Speaker 4: than you guys. Thank you so much for you.
- 55:24Speaker 1: And that's the information so we can get it out
- 55:26Speaker 1: and y'all make sure you support the three organizations. Y'all
- 55:31Speaker 1: be talking about what to do. It ain't nobody doing nothing.
- 55:34Speaker 1: I can't find nobody do nothing. Well, there's three organizations
- 55:37Speaker 1: doing things for people who might be impacted by HIV
- 55:40Speaker 1: or trying to prevent folks from getting it. There are
- 55:44Speaker 1: there's a program for children from three to eighteen that
- 55:47Speaker 1: want to do hip hop and classical ballet dance all
- 55:51Speaker 1: in one that keeps our young women off the street.
- 55:53Speaker 1: Y'all talking about y'all don't like this and that and
- 55:56Speaker 1: that in the booty holes. Well, then here's something else.
- 56:00Speaker 1: Then you also have a woman that's doing I know, Steph,
- 56:03Speaker 1: she's doing real work, serious work around domestic violence, which
- 56:08Speaker 1: we know is an issue. And domestic violence is not
- 56:10Speaker 1: just your man beating you up. It might be your mama,
- 56:12Speaker 1: your daddy, you and your sisters. Like, domestic violence can
- 56:16Speaker 1: be a lot of things, and she's doing good work
- 56:17Speaker 1: on that. So y'all support these organizations.
- 56:19Speaker 4: Thanks Ben, thank you, my baby, Thank you, guys, I
- 56:21Speaker 4: love you.
- 56:22Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 56:27Speaker 3: Shout out to our friend, the great Bebby smith Man.
- 56:31Speaker 3: Bebby does so many things. Her energy is just contagious.
- 56:33Speaker 3: Like when you see bev, I don't give a fuck
- 56:35Speaker 3: what you going through. You having a bad day. When
- 56:37Speaker 3: you see Bebby, you gonna smile.
- 56:40Speaker 2: You're gonna smile. That's just that's the energy she's always had.
- 56:43Speaker 3: I remember Bebvy was like one of the first people
- 56:46Speaker 3: I seen when I came home from prison. I went
- 56:49Speaker 3: to see Fat joson when I think he was doing
- 56:51Speaker 3: a video shoot or something, and Bebby was in his trailer.
- 56:54Speaker 3: As soon as I walked in and she was just
- 56:56Speaker 3: so happy to see me, hugging me, and we had
- 56:59Speaker 3: the best coming and I just remember that I was
- 57:02Speaker 3: fresh home from prison. I was like still like, you know,
- 57:05Speaker 3: just moving and her energy just made me lighting up.
- 57:09Speaker 3: You know, being being in prison for so long, you
- 57:11Speaker 3: just you still guarded, you don't know what's going on.
- 57:14Speaker 3: You quiet, and I had like a child like joy
- 57:19Speaker 3: just talking it back her energy to shout out to her,
- 57:23Speaker 3: say is.
- 57:23Speaker 1: My memory of her or my feeling about her? You know,
- 57:28Speaker 1: in this world, people are not always kind. And I've experienced,
- 57:32Speaker 1: just like everybody else, moments when I walked in the
- 57:35Speaker 1: rooms and felt like people funny acting towards me. You know,
- 57:39Speaker 1: just a lot of things. Never with Beverly, every time
- 57:42Speaker 1: I see her, every time you see Bevsmith, she gonna
- 57:46Speaker 1: give you love. She never acts funny towards me. She
- 57:48Speaker 1: never didn't speak. You don't really know where she is.
- 57:52Speaker 1: She is consistently on it and consistently supporting people. So
- 57:55Speaker 1: I'm glad she was here today.
- 57:57Speaker 2: Yeah, shout out to her, love her man.
- 58:00Speaker 3: That brings me to my I don't get it today.
- 58:08Speaker 3: So we were just talking like while we were interviewing her,
- 58:11Speaker 3: you were saying, you know, the alternatives to the music,
- 58:16Speaker 3: and certain things we don't like about the booty holes
- 58:19Speaker 3: and all these things. So I try not, you know,
- 58:21Speaker 3: I try to be you know, understanding I'm an artist
- 58:25Speaker 3: and understanding artistry and understand there's different things.
- 58:28Speaker 2: There's ratchet shit, So even if.
- 58:30Speaker 3: It's not for me, I try to just keep my
- 58:32Speaker 3: ears and just be okay. Maybe I understand that some
- 58:36Speaker 3: of the shit is just all the way to the left,
- 58:38Speaker 3: but I try to get people the opportunity for evolutions.
- 58:41Speaker 3: So I don't really, you know, really talk bad about
- 58:44Speaker 3: artists in that manner. But I was listening to a
- 58:47Speaker 3: song that the ratchet Girls, they call them the Ratchet Girls,
- 58:52Speaker 3: that I'm Sukiyana and Sexy Red hat.
- 58:56Speaker 2: In this.
- 58:58Speaker 3: Suki Yana the Sexy braversalk in my booty hole, and.
- 59:04Speaker 1: Uh, everybody's about to say Thingucie Queanuci.
- 59:09Speaker 3: Your Kouchie Green clear and all this ship and they
- 59:14Speaker 3: never said the stinking or whatever.
- 59:17Speaker 2: And Sukiyana comes on and she said to tell Joe
- 59:23Speaker 2: Biden that she want to fuck the press. I'm saying
- 59:27Speaker 2: to myself, Joe Biden is damn near dead.
- 59:32Speaker 1: No, one don't say that Joe Biden is eighty man,
- 59:37Speaker 1: but that isn't almost dead. I know eighty year old
- 59:39Speaker 1: people that's doing fine.
- 59:42Speaker 3: I'm not saying they're not doing fine. But the life
- 59:44Speaker 3: expectancy for the average human being is not even eighty.
- 59:49Speaker 3: The man has lived past life expected.
- 59:54Speaker 2: I can go with that. You know, in this girl,
- 59:57Speaker 2: young girl, it's too about you want to like, what
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: are we talking about? That's like me looking at old woman, just.
- 1:00:06Speaker 1: Like like what Pelosi?
- 1:00:09Speaker 2: Like what would I do with Nancy Pelosi?
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: I just like we are in a clickbait era, and
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: so in this moment, that's the type of stuff they
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: talk about. I mean, what do you want? That's it?
- 1:00:21Speaker 1: That's it, booty hoole. It's the same thing like her.
- 1:00:25Speaker 4: Being on the floor.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: I could understand if you gave me an old, handsome
- 1:00:32Speaker 2: black man or something.
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: But.
- 1:00:35Speaker 1: That's not going to get the same amount. We are
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: in a troll slash click.
- 1:00:40Speaker 2: You say the dumbest shit ever, like that's the wall.
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: And see if it's stick. It's so. It stuck so
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: much you bought it up today and believe it, and
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: and and at the end of the day, this is
- 1:00:51Speaker 1: why right, everybody goes to the red carpet, it stands
- 1:00:55Speaker 1: up and takes a picture, and where they get mentioned.
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: Mainly it's for how fly they are or how terrible
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: they look. That's that's the red carpet game. It's how
- 1:01:07Speaker 1: fly you look or how terrible you look, or who
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: you show up with. Those things are no longer. It's
- 1:01:13Speaker 1: like drugs. It's we are in the era where they
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: gotta get more so dopamine exactly, it's not enough. You
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: need the fentanyl. It's the fentanyl error right.
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: Where now now or you come close to it, you
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: need so.
- 1:01:32Speaker 1: You because what I have on I don't know if
- 1:01:36Speaker 1: I can fuck with Joe Blow and Tow. I don't
- 1:01:39Speaker 1: know if that maybe I can, maybe I can't. Actually,
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: I personally thought that Sukiana looked really cute, Like I
- 1:01:46Speaker 1: liked her dress. I thought it was sexy and I
- 1:01:48Speaker 1: thought she her body looked nice in it. I thought
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: she looked good when she stood up and I saw
- 1:01:53Speaker 1: the picture, I'm like, Okay, that dress could but it
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: probably wasn't going to get the same attention as young
- 1:02:01Speaker 1: Miami who people had a bunch of opinions about how
- 1:02:04Speaker 1: she looked and then other people that were on the carpet,
- 1:02:07Speaker 1: that folks might have been like, oh, this was the
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: best thing ever, you know, or whatever, so probably was
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: gonna get that. Then she probably wasn't going to get
- 1:02:15Speaker 1: the worst, so she would have just been one of
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: those that passed through. So she went to the ground
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: to put her behind and her tongue out because that,
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: for her was what would get her offending all high.
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: So that's the era that we're in. So why not say,
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Joe Biden my booty holes brown?
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: Oh man, you couldn't even what you're gonna do. He
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: couldn't even do nothing with that.
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: But these young women And one of the reasons why
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: I don't, I don't, you know, And people keep telling me, oh,
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: you need to say this, and then I hear them,
- 1:02:50Speaker 1: and I'm not saying they're wrong, because I do see
- 1:02:53Speaker 1: the problem. I see it, and I believe they see
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: it too. The industry knows. And it's once again the
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: same thing that you talked about of industry gives incentives
- 1:03:04Speaker 1: to violence and the drill rappers and all of that,
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: and the same thing is happening with the over sexualization
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: of women. But you know, I think it was either
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: sexy read or one of them came out with the
- 1:03:16Speaker 1: dog chain on being walked on the ground. Somewhere somewhere
- 1:03:20Speaker 1: I heard that and guess what people did that before?
- 1:03:22Speaker 1: Snoop did that? Like you know, this is the tip drill,
- 1:03:25Speaker 1: the credit card swipe, the whole thing. These are things
- 1:03:29Speaker 1: that have been happening. Well. A lot of people have
- 1:03:31Speaker 1: issue with it because women are now doing it on
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: our own, which we were not before. But the other
- 1:03:36Speaker 1: thing I realized is these are kids. They are kids,
- 1:03:39Speaker 1: and as time goes on, they will and that's the goal.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: Man. So you understand. You wouldn't have said for your mind,
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: so you come off.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: It ain't for you to understand. I read somewhere and
- 1:03:52Speaker 1: we got to go. But I read somewhere something that said,
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: nobody cares what you and I think because we thought
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: and forty seven and date on kids.
- 1:04:03Speaker 2: He just you got here from somehow we got here.
- 1:04:06Speaker 2: You understand. Thing.
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: So my thing is, if you if you want to
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: be around long and be relevant, I mean, listen to somebody.
- 1:04:13Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I hope so, but come on,
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: not Joe Biden. Joe Biden.
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: Anyway, that brings us to an end of another episode
- 1:04:23Speaker 3: of Street Politicians. Make sure you follow us on Street
- 1:04:25Speaker 3: Politicians Pod. Give us your likes, hates, loves, give us

- 1:04:35Speaker 3: one podcast in the world right now.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Appreciate you. Man. God God got us. Man, He always
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: gonna take us. He got us.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: I'm not gonna always be right to Meeka D. Mallory's
- 1:04:46Speaker 3: not gonna always be wrong, but we will both always
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: and I mean always be authentic.
- 1:04:52Speaker 4: Pace so Yote, so Yode, They're snydey
