- 35:17Speaker 29: And Hindu moment, Musla Mukaba and Musaba in Hindu mom
- 35:29Speaker 29: in the Musila Mukafaba.
- 35:33Speaker 33: Huru.
- 35:35Speaker 29: Hurrigae came up Markanzi and Basti Hia Davy basin Jay hid.
- 35:53Speaker 1: About that track. It's one of my rare finds there
- 35:57Speaker 1: and folks, let's bring in our own d J gets
- 36:00Speaker 1: that's the show. Who's got a preview and a review
- 36:02Speaker 1: for you? How are you, DJ Geet?
- 36:05Speaker 4: I'm doing amazing. How are you doing, Sammy?
- 36:08Speaker 1: We're doing well. We're doing well. Tell us you've got
- 36:11Speaker 1: the Big Render the Revenge soundtrack in your sights here,
- 36:16Speaker 1: tell us what track you're reviewing for us today? Yeah?
- 36:20Speaker 4: Hey, everyone, DJ give here and I'm really excited to
- 36:24Speaker 4: talk about this song. It's been on repeat since it's
- 36:28Speaker 4: dropped and it's called meh Ortu from the Under the Revenge.
- 36:34Speaker 4: This song is romantic, it's energizing, and it's also giving
- 36:39Speaker 4: lover girl energy. So one of the singers in this song,
- 36:43Speaker 4: Jasmine Samlis, has been around since twenty fourteen. Bollywood did
- 36:50Speaker 4: take a step back for a while, but she did not,
- 36:53Speaker 4: and now she's back on one of the biggest soundtracks
- 36:58Speaker 4: of twenty twenty six. The opening of the song, it's
- 37:03Speaker 4: a very minimal instrumentation, but it's just enough to get
- 37:07Speaker 4: you dancing. Everything is centering for the vocals, and when
- 37:13Speaker 4: Jasmine comes in with her delivery, it's controlled, powerful, beautiful.
- 37:20Speaker 4: You can sense she has this playfulness and drama in
- 37:24Speaker 4: her voice, and she lets this emotion sit and unfold
- 37:29Speaker 4: very naturally throughout the song. It feels very intimate and
- 37:33Speaker 4: it's also very fun. Now Jasmine has naturally a very grounding,
- 37:41Speaker 4: low bassed sea voice, and then you have Rebel who
- 37:46Speaker 4: comes in with a smooth, lighter, transcendental vibe. So it
- 37:52Speaker 4: brings a sort of a contrast in the song, but
- 37:56Speaker 4: it doesn't break the flow at all. And I promise
- 37:59Speaker 4: two the two voices sound different, but when you hear
- 38:03Speaker 4: this song, you will understand exactly why we needed both
- 38:06Speaker 4: of them to complete it.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Yeah, and the magic of shush what SUTs there? The
- 38:11Speaker 1: composer on this one hits a home run. Well, DJ
- 38:15Speaker 1: get if you can do us in the honor of
- 38:17Speaker 1: introducing this track for us and take.
- 38:19Speaker 4: It home absolutely, Ladies and gentlemen, met or two John Man,

- 40:53Speaker 6: The hockey got the boat because the g rober room him.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Up In a DJ gheet there earlier and folks let's
- 41:31Speaker 1: pull in my main man e the first of the show.
- 41:34Speaker 1: What's up, E, what's happening?
- 41:36Speaker 7: How are you, brother?
- 41:37Speaker 1: I'm doing well, my man? How things with you? How's
- 41:40Speaker 1: everything north of the border.
- 41:42Speaker 7: I'm hoping it gets better with these oil prices because
- 41:46Speaker 7: God damn man.
- 41:47Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I feel like we're going to be here
- 41:50Speaker 1: for a while. You know, it's going to be an
- 41:52Speaker 1: expensive twenty twenty six driving around for sure. Yeah, you know,
- 41:59Speaker 1: I I I often look around and you look at
- 42:03Speaker 1: the world. Of course, gas price is sure, but then
- 42:07Speaker 1: you start to look around the moving you know, dynamics
- 42:10Speaker 1: around religion and belief and so many of these different
- 42:13Speaker 1: things that are going on around the world that are
- 42:14Speaker 1: theologically based. But like in this case, you know, you
- 42:18Speaker 1: wonder where is our new generation going with this? Where's
- 42:22Speaker 1: our you know, where's the future of things like religion
- 42:26Speaker 1: and beliefs like this? And what are your thoughts on this? Man,
- 42:30Speaker 1: where where do you think all of this is going?
- 42:33Speaker 4: You know?
- 42:34Speaker 7: On the last episode, I did like I was basically
- 42:36Speaker 7: highlighting like spiritual abuse, like very specifically in the sick community.
- 42:40Speaker 7: But like that abuse, the abusive power comes in forms
- 42:45Speaker 7: just because like man is mankind is flawed, and you
- 42:48Speaker 7: see it happen in a lot of other religions. Like
- 42:50Speaker 7: there's a whole Catholic issue. You know that movie came
- 42:52Speaker 7: out a while ago, Spotlight Mark Rufflo, right, talk about
- 42:56Speaker 7: that situation with the Catholic Church. And you know, when
- 42:59Speaker 7: I am funnily enough, I met Raf Sapara's older brother
- 43:03Speaker 7: and he was talking to me about similar stuff about
- 43:06Speaker 7: you know, these moms and stuff, like they act all holy,
- 43:10Speaker 7: but behind the scenes are doing unholy things. Let's just say, right,
- 43:14Speaker 7: I mean the sick community is the same thing right
- 43:16Speaker 7: in the Brahmi community, Like every community has that where
- 43:19Speaker 7: the spiritual abuse is happening. And I think that basically
- 43:22Speaker 7: like breaks people's minds to a really huge extent because
- 43:27Speaker 7: you look at this person as like some sort of
- 43:29Speaker 7: like holy figure right connected to God or a conduit
- 43:33Speaker 7: to connect with God or whatever. Right, every religion has
- 43:36Speaker 7: their own version of what clergy does.
- 43:39Speaker 1: Right, And.
- 43:40Speaker 7: I think the spiritual abuse is like because of modern day,
- 43:44Speaker 7: because of all of stuff, it's just getting worse and
- 43:46Speaker 7: worse and worse. But the problem is that people are
- 43:48Speaker 7: looking for so many answers in a world that is
- 43:51Speaker 7: in turmoil that is in war that's been like you know,
- 43:55Speaker 7: I watched the show called this news broadcast called Breaking Points,
- 43:59Speaker 7: and they were just talking talking about like during this
- 44:02Speaker 7: whole Iran thing over the past few days, like Trump
- 44:05Speaker 7: ends up making like all this money. There's a clear
- 44:07Speaker 7: insider trading going on. You know, the world is getting
- 44:10Speaker 7: so corrupted and so overt now, like it's not even
- 44:12Speaker 7: like kind of hiding. It's like, you know, because of
- 44:14Speaker 7: the Internet, because you can see these trade swings happening,
- 44:17Speaker 7: all this stuff, and then the the the average person
- 44:20Speaker 7: is like, Okay, well there's corruption on Wall Street. I
- 44:23Speaker 7: can't afford from my house the church or the temple
- 44:26Speaker 7: or the whatever I go to. I can't trust the leader.
- 44:30Speaker 7: I don't want to leave my kids there with these clergymen,
- 44:32Speaker 7: with these priests, these whatever, because I don't know what
- 44:35Speaker 7: they're up to. Like it just feels very dark yees
- 44:40Speaker 7: as the Indian states the cal Yuga.
- 44:42Speaker 1: Yeah, it's very disorienting for people that are so belief structured,
- 44:47Speaker 1: right because you see these institutions in some way, shape
- 44:50Speaker 1: or form, in whatever way, it is crumbling in front
- 44:53Speaker 1: of you, and and to go back around navigating that
- 44:57Speaker 1: and trying to attach yourself to something becomes more and
- 44:59Speaker 1: more complicated. Do you see people in the future stepping
- 45:05Speaker 1: away from these institutions or do you think they get
- 45:08Speaker 1: kind of redefined and people become a little bit more
- 45:11Speaker 1: hardlined about it because they do want to become fundamental
- 45:13Speaker 1: about what it was all about.
- 45:16Speaker 7: I think some of the few things happen is a
- 45:18Speaker 7: and like you see this in the sick community, Like
- 45:20Speaker 7: people start converting to other religions because they're just like, clearly,
- 45:24Speaker 7: I can't connect with any of the stuff that's here,
- 45:26Speaker 7: and they don't want to make the effort to like
- 45:28Speaker 7: really do the work because another religion or another community
- 45:31Speaker 7: or a friend is like, I've already done the work
- 45:33Speaker 7: for you. This is the answer, brother, Jesus loves you
- 45:35Speaker 7: or whatever. Right. I have no issue with that, especially
- 45:38Speaker 7: when it's like you're not finding what you want from this,
- 45:40Speaker 7: like this current situation you're in. That's a and then
- 45:44Speaker 7: B is I think that if you truly love it
- 45:49Speaker 7: enough to like find the answer for yourself, you can
- 45:51Speaker 7: find a better starting place. Let's like a checkpoint, let's
- 45:56Speaker 7: call it. And you know that's happening with the youth now, right,
- 45:59Speaker 7: The Punjabi youth. They're finding their own voice and like
- 46:02Speaker 7: what's si Ki or Sikhism is to them or you know,
- 46:05Speaker 7: I'm even like, you know, a lot of Hindus they're
- 46:07Speaker 7: doing this as well, where it's like they're kind of
- 46:09Speaker 7: getting away from like the Brahmanic control and stuff like that.
- 46:14Speaker 7: And you know, in Islam, they're kind of getting away
- 46:16Speaker 7: from some of these other ideas that has created like
- 46:19Speaker 7: hardline ideas like you know, Shariah or whatever.
- 46:24Speaker 4: Right.
- 46:25Speaker 7: I don't know, right, I'm not an expert on other
- 46:26Speaker 7: people's religions, but every religion has the tendency to go
- 46:29Speaker 7: extreme and to go like abusive with spiritual abuse whatever, right.
- 46:33Speaker 7: And I think when people find their own way into
- 46:36Speaker 7: it through like a love of the religion itself, I
- 46:40Speaker 7: think they'll it'll it'll it'll balance out, let's say. Yeah,
- 46:45Speaker 7: And I think that's happening a lot more because the
- 46:47Speaker 7: youth are not listening to the old people anymore. Right,
- 46:50Speaker 7: It's not a gerontocracy. It's hey, let's let's see what
- 46:55Speaker 7: we can come up with the answers for the future
- 46:57Speaker 7: that we're being affected by. And yeah, I think I
- 47:00Speaker 7: think there's some ray of light at the end of
- 47:03Speaker 7: the tunnel.
- 47:03Speaker 1: You know, I was just listening to you talking. Then
- 47:07Speaker 1: my first thought was, like where else in the world
- 47:09Speaker 1: would you get like the same show in the same
- 47:11Speaker 1: hour where we're playing like Punjabi hit songs and then
- 47:14Speaker 1: some deep really you know, religious discussion, theological discussions like this.
- 47:19Speaker 1: This is awesome. Thanks so much for joining us today,
- 47:21Speaker 1: my man, of course, thank you for having me. We'll
- 47:24Speaker 1: see you next week. Brother Johnny.
- 47:29Speaker 38: Gen l.
