- 0:00Speaker 1: Yeah, this is the Mark Simon Show on sevent tenor Hey,
- 0:10Speaker 1: well it's like summer out there. It's I got summer
- 0:12Speaker 1: day to day seventy. It should have hit about seventy
- 0:16Speaker 1: three degrees in the city and be sunny today, So
- 0:18Speaker 1: go enjoy it. You deserve it after what we went
- 0:21Speaker 1: through weatherwise. It's great now it'll cool off later in
- 0:24Speaker 1: the week, but you're only a little less than two
- 0:28Speaker 1: weeks from spring. Hey, we got a lot to get to.
- 0:30Speaker 1: We'll get to the latest on the war Iran, We'll
- 0:33Speaker 1: get to Harvey Weinstein. We'll get to Mayor Mom Donnie
- 0:37Speaker 1: having a little anti Semitic dinner party last night at
- 0:41Speaker 1: Gracie Mansion that we paid for. We'll get to Colin
- 0:45Speaker 1: and O'Brien, interesting talking about the total, complete, absolute death
- 0:49Speaker 1: of late night television. And we'll get to Well, we've
- 0:53Speaker 1: got a lot of stuff to get to today. So
- 0:55Speaker 1: this will be the most intense day of the war.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Pete Heggzeth. Today will be the most intense days so
- 1:03Speaker 1: far in the woods. Day eleven. Those big bombers we
- 1:07Speaker 1: told you about those big, huge B one bombers, and
- 1:10Speaker 1: now the B fifty two bombers, This is the B
- 1:13Speaker 1: fifty two strato fortresses. They're capable of up to seventy
- 1:18Speaker 1: thousand pounds of explosives. They will be hitting Iran today.
- 1:23Speaker 1: These bombers are capable of launching nuclear warheads, cruise missiles,
- 1:27Speaker 1: they can other heavy bombs. They can go fifteen hundred
- 1:30Speaker 1: miles and come back. There are amazing planes. They're also
- 1:34Speaker 1: capable of carrying those thirty thousand pound massive ordnance penetrators.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Those they call them the mop bunker buster bombs that
- 1:43Speaker 1: can destroy deep underground facilities. This is like the most
- 1:49Speaker 1: serious day of the war. Well, actually the day they
- 1:52Speaker 1: took out all the leaders. The first day was pretty serious.
- 1:54Speaker 1: But this will be the most intense bombing Iran has
- 1:58Speaker 1: ever seen. Their offensive capability is down ninety five percent.
- 2:02Speaker 1: They really can't launch much of anything. Now. They'll just
- 2:05Speaker 1: take out every last missile facility, every missile stockpile. They'll
- 2:10Speaker 1: take out every possible factory, any place that missiles can
- 2:13Speaker 1: be produced. And it looks like this could be over
- 2:16Speaker 1: soon now. The president under attack, well, I mean here
- 2:21Speaker 1: he is saying it'll be over soon.
- 2:22Speaker 2: On Iran.
- 2:23Speaker 3: You called it an excursion.
- 2:24Speaker 1: You said it would be over soon. Are you thinking
- 2:26Speaker 1: this week it will be over in days?
- 2:29Speaker 4: I think so, okay, and respect very soon. Look, everything
- 2:33Speaker 4: they have is gone, including their leadership. In fact, there
- 2:37Speaker 4: are two levels of leadership, and even actually, as it
- 2:39Speaker 4: turns out, more than that, but two levels of leadership
- 2:42Speaker 4: are gone.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Now. Most Americans are very happy about taking out the Iyatola.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Most Americans are very happy about liberating Iran. Most Americans
- 2:51Speaker 1: think this is going very well, and they're very happy
- 2:53Speaker 1: with it. Now. If you watch the news or read
- 2:56Speaker 1: the news, you'll get the whole opposite impression. The way
- 3:00Speaker 1: they do this is a lot of these cheap, flimsy,
- 3:03Speaker 1: fake public polls. You look in the metrics, you'll see
- 3:05Speaker 1: how slanted they are. And then you get all of
- 3:09Speaker 1: the newscasters and they'll say, the president does not have
- 3:12Speaker 1: a clear message here, he's been contradictory, he's contradicting himself. Then,
- 3:16Speaker 1: if you go all the real swamp establishment, Thomas Friedman,
- 3:20Speaker 1: Gerald Baker, all these columnists for the if only the
- 3:23Speaker 1: president wasn't sending mixed signals, mixed messages, He's made contradictory
- 3:28Speaker 1: statements on the how long this war could last, He's
- 3:31Speaker 1: contradicted Well, yeah, it's all deliberate. They don't want to
- 3:34Speaker 1: tell you that. Yes, he has been totally contradicting himself
- 3:38Speaker 1: in every statement. Same thing with Hexis, same thing with Rubio.
- 3:41Speaker 1: They're all contradicting. Ever, you can't get a clear signal
- 3:43Speaker 1: on what that's deliberate. That's deliberate, that's to totally keep
- 3:48Speaker 1: the enemy in the dark. That's for the enemy. The
- 3:51Speaker 1: Iranians have absolutely no idea what he's thinking or what's ahead.
- 3:55Speaker 1: But we have it. We have done amazing work. Look
- 4:01Speaker 1: at this. Even Morning Joe on MSNB whatever the hell
- 4:05Speaker 1: it's called Morning Joe, the poor guy was forced to
- 4:10Speaker 1: go on the air today and give credit to Donald
- 4:13Speaker 1: Trump and describe the war in Iran as quote, extremely successful,
- 4:19Speaker 1: extremely successful, the most successful war fighting in the history
- 4:25Speaker 1: of the world. What we've done in the first eight
- 4:27Speaker 1: or nineties is absolutely breathtaking the successful. However, then Joe
- 4:32Speaker 1: goes on to a whole time that's thirty seconds. Then
- 4:35Speaker 1: he does thirty minutes. Now, but it's a political problem. Politically,
- 4:39Speaker 1: it's gonna sink it. Politically, it's gonna politically. He'll be fine.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Wait about a month or two, and this is all complete.
- 4:46Speaker 5: We're achieving major strides toward completing our military objective, and
- 4:53Speaker 5: some people could say they're pretty well complete. We've wiped
- 4:56Speaker 5: every single force in Iran out very completely.
- 5:01Speaker 1: Are you thinking this week it will be over in days?
- 5:05Speaker 4: Okay?
- 5:05Speaker 1: And respect Yeah, deliberately vague, just to confuse the enemy.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Now you got to attack him. Though it's Donald Trump,
- 5:13Speaker 1: you have to go after him. You must attack him.
- 5:16Speaker 1: If you're Joe Scarborough, if you're Rachel Maddow, if you're
- 5:19Speaker 1: even the Network News, you got to go after him.
- 5:22Speaker 1: And so what can you do, Well, you try that
- 5:25Speaker 1: mixed messaging stuff, but then I don't think that's having
- 5:28Speaker 1: any effect. So then you go after him because at
- 5:30Speaker 1: some point it looks like the report is that we
- 5:33Speaker 1: blew up a school with one hundred and fifty young
- 5:36Speaker 1: girls in it. We blew up a school. Now this
- 5:39Speaker 1: is not confirmed by anybody legitimate. These reports are coming
- 5:43Speaker 1: from Iranian sources, Iranian video, so nobody's ever actually confirmed
- 5:48Speaker 1: this story. But where they're claiming the school is it
- 5:52Speaker 1: would be right in the middle of a Republican Guard
- 5:56Speaker 1: IRG military facility, so that would be a legit him
- 6:00Speaker 1: a target for bombing. Who knew that they put a
- 6:02Speaker 1: school in there for girls. But if this is true,
- 6:05Speaker 1: it's a terrible thing. But why would the Iranians put
- 6:09Speaker 1: that school right in the middle of a huge Republican
- 6:12Speaker 1: Guard military facility? That would only lead to something like this.
- 6:16Speaker 1: But it's going well. The war is going very, very
- 6:19Speaker 1: very well. Again, today will be the most intense day.
- 6:25Speaker 1: Wait till the end of today and we'll see Mayor
- 6:29Speaker 1: Mom Donnie getting a lot of flack, a lot of flack,
- 6:32Speaker 1: and rightfully so, nobody deserves it more. Listen to all
- 6:35Speaker 1: you Democrats in New York, what the hell did you do?
- 6:39Speaker 1: You voted in this crazy lunatic anti Semite, this crazy communist.
- 6:45Speaker 1: I mean, he seems like a nice guy. I mean,
- 6:46Speaker 1: if you have been in a room with him, he's
- 6:48Speaker 1: a nice guy, got a nice smile, seems to have
- 6:51Speaker 1: a kind of a bit of a salesman. But underneath
- 6:56Speaker 1: all that is a vicious anti Semite. There's this Colombia
- 7:02Speaker 1: guy of whose name I forget, but remember they arrested
- 7:05Speaker 1: him at Columbia. He's I think he was here illegally.
- 7:09Speaker 1: It's something he hit a visa. But he was the
- 7:12Speaker 1: most anti Semitic guy leading the most anti Semitic demonstrations
- 7:16Speaker 1: at the anti Semitic Columbia University. And his basic premise
- 7:21Speaker 1: is that October seventh was justified. As terrible as it was,
- 7:25Speaker 1: it had to be done, it was necessary. He's backing
- 7:29Speaker 1: Hamas on October seventh was a holocaust. It was a holocaust.
- 7:35Speaker 1: Can you imagine defending such a thing, not only defending it,
- 7:38Speaker 1: he said it was necessary, had to be done. So
- 7:42Speaker 1: they immediately try to deport this guy, and good get
- 7:45Speaker 1: a guy like that out of the country. And the
- 7:47Speaker 1: reason they used was, and it's a good reason, is
- 7:50Speaker 1: that he lied on his visa application. If you're here
- 7:53Speaker 1: to cause that kind of trouble or do that kind
- 7:54Speaker 1: of ugly stuff, and if you're really going after Israel,
- 7:58Speaker 1: that's interfering with our foreign policy. See, you can be deported.
- 8:01Speaker 1: If you didn't make that clear on your visa that
- 8:03Speaker 1: that's what you're coming to do, you'll lie on your
- 8:06Speaker 1: visa and you can be deported. So they tried to
- 8:08Speaker 1: get him out of the country. They even held him
- 8:09Speaker 1: in custody for about three months. And you, of course,
- 8:13Speaker 1: you got a million left wing judges jumping in there
- 8:16Speaker 1: ruling that he had to be released, so he was
- 8:18Speaker 1: released after a year. But again, you believe I'm saying this,
- 8:23Speaker 1: Mom Donnie invites him to Gracy Mansion last night, hosted
- 8:26Speaker 1: dinner for him and his family. It is the most
- 8:30Speaker 1: disgusting thing, this hamas Holocaust supporter. Uh, sitting there eating
- 8:35Speaker 1: in Gracy Mansion. We're paying for the whole thing. It's
- 8:38Speaker 1: absolutely ludicrous. If you're if you're Mom Donnie, and you're
- 8:43Speaker 1: that nuts. Okay, maybe maybe you could put out a statement,
- 8:46Speaker 1: maybe showing some sympathy for the guy or something. But
- 8:50Speaker 1: to invite this guy into Gracie Mansion, which we own,
- 8:53Speaker 1: it's our house. We pay for the whole thing. Uh.
- 8:56Speaker 1: And Mom Donnie, Uh, it's just absolutely disgusting that did it?
- 9:01Speaker 1: Here is that I'm done.
- 9:02Speaker 3: I'm the first Muslim mayor of our city. Anti Muslim
- 9:06Speaker 3: bigotry is nothing new to me, nor is it anything
- 9:08Speaker 3: new for the one million or so Muslim New Yorkers
- 9:11Speaker 3: who know this city as our home. While I found
- 9:14Speaker 3: this protest appalling, I will not waiver in my belief
- 9:17Speaker 3: that it should be allowed to happen. Ours is a
- 9:20Speaker 3: free society, or the right to peaceful protest is sacred
- 9:24Speaker 3: it does not belong only to those we agree with.
- 9:26Speaker 3: It belongs to everyone.
- 9:29Speaker 1: Yeah, Now, the real facts are there's almost as far
- 9:32Speaker 1: as anti Muslim bigotry in New York and anti Muslim incidents,
- 9:38Speaker 1: it's pretty much non existent. There's about two a year,
- 9:41Speaker 1: that's it. If you look for anti Semitic incidents, attacks,
- 9:46Speaker 1: that sort of thing, it's like eight thousand a year.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So that's where the problem is. Anti Muslim attacks or
- 9:52Speaker 1: those sort of things. Protests almost non existent in New York.
- 9:56Speaker 1: So I don't know what he's talking about. He doesn't
- 9:59Speaker 1: know what he's talking about. Again, you democrats, You New
- 10:02Speaker 1: York City Democrats. What the hell did you do to
- 10:05Speaker 1: us voting this guy in Now? Why would he have
- 10:07Speaker 1: dinner with a guy like that? Well, he claims it's
- 10:09Speaker 1: a freedom of speech issue, although if anybody goes after him,
- 10:15Speaker 1: suddenly there's no freedom of speech. Look at our friend
- 10:18Speaker 1: Sid there, who got in trouble for I mean, maybe
- 10:22Speaker 1: you shouldn't use that language, but there was nothing really
- 10:24Speaker 1: wrong with it. It's not an anti Muslim thing, you
- 10:27Speaker 1: just I mean, he would have said that about anybody
- 10:30Speaker 1: who was that detestable. But Mamdani organized an incredible attack
- 10:36Speaker 1: back over that. So he's not a big supporter of
- 10:40Speaker 1: freedom of speech unless it's against the Jews, then he's
- 10:43Speaker 1: a big supporter of freedom of speech. So that attack
- 10:46Speaker 1: by those terrorists, and it turns out they were actual terrorists,
- 10:50Speaker 1: those two guys from Pennsylvania, they were actual, actual terrorists,
- 10:55Speaker 1: and they had a pretty pretty good bomb. It was
- 10:57Speaker 1: an IUD that could ha done a lot of damage,
- 11:01Speaker 1: serious damage. Is now legally being considered a weapon of
- 11:05Speaker 1: mass destruction. The two guys were arrested by the New
- 11:10Speaker 1: York City Police. Luckily, they're going to be charged federally.
- 11:13Speaker 1: That's important because it was just New York City. It
- 11:16Speaker 1: would go to Alvin Bragg. He would give them a
- 11:18Speaker 1: desk appearance ticket, these two terrorists with a weapon of
- 11:21Speaker 1: mass destruction. Bragg would give them a desk appearance ticket. Luckily,
- 11:25Speaker 1: we got a great US attorney here, Jay Clayton. The
- 11:28Speaker 1: Feds will charge these guys. There's already a number of charges.
- 11:32Speaker 1: And again, the weapon was so deadly that if you
- 11:35Speaker 1: exploded that in a crowd, which they were trying to do,
- 11:38Speaker 1: it is actually legally a weapon of mass destruction. If
- 11:41Speaker 1: you get convicted on that charge, that's mandatory minimum thirty
- 11:47Speaker 1: years in prison, mandatory minimum thirty years in prison. And
- 11:51Speaker 1: if the other charges that they're going to put on there,
- 11:54Speaker 1: it'll be forty to fifty years in prison for these guys.
- 11:57Speaker 1: And nobody deserves it more than these two guys. Two
- 12:00Speaker 1: brave officers tackled them. Hey, and I'll say one good
- 12:04Speaker 1: thing from Mom, Donnie. He did praise those officers.
- 12:07Speaker 3: And YPD Chief Aaron Edwards and Sergeant Luis Navarro ran
- 12:10Speaker 3: towards the danger so that others could run to safety.
- 12:14Speaker 3: They're here with us now, and I want to thank
- 12:16Speaker 3: them today publicly as I did yesterday privately, and to
- 12:20Speaker 3: thank the dozens of other officers who responded without hesitation.
- 12:24Speaker 3: That is courage, that is selflessness. And I'm deeply grateful
- 12:28Speaker 3: to both of them, to every member of the NYPD
- 12:31Speaker 3: who works every single day to keep New Yorker safe.
- 12:34Speaker 1: Well, good for Mom, Donnie. He then left and raced
- 12:37Speaker 1: to Gracie Mansion to have dinner with that big dinner party,
- 12:40Speaker 1: honoring his anti Semitic friend. But and now the police
- 12:44Speaker 1: commissioner explains they really were terrorists. I mean self you know,
- 12:51Speaker 1: self made terrorists. They love isis they followed Isis. When
- 12:54Speaker 1: they got to the police station, they wanted a piece
- 12:57Speaker 1: of paper to write out some Isis nonsense.
- 12:59Speaker 6: After waving right, So you requested paper and wrote a
- 13:02Speaker 6: message declaring, in part, I pledge my allegiance to the
- 13:06Speaker 6: Islamic state. Die in your rage, you kufar, Now die
- 13:10Speaker 6: in your rage is a commonly known Isis slogan, and
- 13:14Speaker 6: kufar is an Arabic term that refers to non believers.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Yeah you kufar? Are you anyway? They'll get these guys.
- 13:25Speaker 1: They'll be convicted. Thank god, the Feds are here to
- 13:27Speaker 1: do it.
- 13:27Speaker 6: En route to the NYPD precinct, a lot made spontaneous
- 13:31Speaker 6: statements without being questioned by NYPD officers that were captured
- 13:35Speaker 6: on body worn camera footage. She said, this isn't a
- 13:39Speaker 6: religion that just stands when people talk about the blessed
- 13:42Speaker 6: name of the prophet. We take action, We take action.
- 13:46Speaker 1: All right, that's good that bodycam footage. You're supposed to
- 13:49Speaker 1: keep your mouth shut before you get your lawyer there.
- 13:51Speaker 1: But all of this going to the Feds. They will
- 13:54Speaker 1: get these guys. They will get them probably thirty forty
- 13:58Speaker 1: fifty years in prison, which is very good news. So
- 14:02Speaker 1: oil prices are coming down a little now. You know,
- 14:05Speaker 1: remember when the tariffs were announced and the stock market
- 14:09Speaker 1: dropped eighty billion points in one hour, and everybody was crawled.
- 14:12Speaker 1: The pannikins were yelling and screaming, and everybody was telling
- 14:15Speaker 1: him this is just temporary, it'll be fine in a week,
- 14:18Speaker 1: and they wouldn't listening. But not only was it fine
- 14:22Speaker 1: in a week or two, but the stock market then
- 14:24Speaker 1: went to hit all time highs and hit fifty thousand.
- 14:27Speaker 1: Same thing here with oil prices, they did spike up
- 14:30Speaker 1: over one hundred, then back down to ninety. This whole
- 14:33Speaker 1: oil spike, it's bad, you know, for prices, but it'll
- 14:37Speaker 1: last a week or two and then that's it. By
- 14:39Speaker 1: the way, there is plenty of oil. We've got lots
- 14:42Speaker 1: of oil. Our oil storage facilities are absolutely filled to
- 14:46Speaker 1: the brim. We still produce more oil per day than
- 14:49Speaker 1: we need. And don't tell Chuck Schumer this. Chuck Schumer
- 14:54Speaker 1: is so old and out of it and lost. He
- 14:57Speaker 1: doesn't know where the hell he is. He keeps getting
- 14:59Speaker 1: big your glasses every month. That's not helping. He doesn't
- 15:02Speaker 1: know what the hell's going on. Yesterday makes a speech
- 15:06Speaker 1: calling on the President to open up the Strategic Petroleum Reserve.
- 15:10Speaker 1: We keep the oil there just in case of absolute emergency.
- 15:13Speaker 1: Calling on the President to release oil from the reserve
- 15:17Speaker 1: to help. Again, he has no clue. He's a clueless guy.
- 15:22Speaker 1: He doesn't know what's going on. Again. Our oil storage
- 15:25Speaker 1: is through the roof. We have more oil in storage
- 15:28Speaker 1: right now than we could ever need. There's absolutely no reason,
- 15:32Speaker 1: no reason at all to trap tap the strategic reserve.
- 15:35Speaker 1: But Schumer, now just a silly old He's like the
- 15:39Speaker 1: Godfather at the very end. Remember at the very end
- 15:42Speaker 1: in the garden, did you call the phone man? Pop?
- 15:44Speaker 1: I called him, I called them. That's Schumer. Now he's
- 15:48Speaker 1: got to go. I know he's going to try to
- 15:50Speaker 1: finish this term. He knows he can't get relected, but
- 15:52Speaker 1: he should actually step down. Oh wait a minute. Then
- 15:55Speaker 1: Hokel gets to a point. Somebody, Oh God, what am
- 15:57Speaker 1: I saying? You wouldn't want Hokl picking a sin for you. Uh,
- 16:01Speaker 1: but wait till November when you get Bruce Blakeman, let
- 16:03Speaker 1: him pick a new senator. Hey, we'll take some calls
- 16:06Speaker 1: in a minute. Eight hundred three to two one zero
- 16:10Speaker 1: seven ten is the number eight hundred three to two
- 16:12Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. Now back to the Mark Simone
- 16:16Speaker 1: Show on WOR Well, let's take some calls. We've got
- 16:22Speaker 1: a big audience all over the country listening. Right now.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Let's go to Jacob Denver, Colorado. Jacob, how you doing?
- 16:30Speaker 7: How can you hear me?
- 16:31Speaker 8: Yeah?
- 16:32Speaker 7: Okay, you're from Detroit.
- 16:35Speaker 1: It's Denver. They don't have a lot of air up
- 16:37Speaker 1: the airs right then? There, Excuse me?
- 16:39Speaker 7: I was asking because do you remember a place called
- 16:42Speaker 7: melfour Ford in Michigan.
- 16:44Speaker 1: Melfar Ford.
- 16:47Speaker 7: Yeah, it was an oak park anyway, So what.
- 16:50Speaker 1: Do you do? You have something to do with melfar Ford.
- 16:54Speaker 7: No, no, no.
- 16:55Speaker 1: You just thought this would be an important topic for
- 16:57Speaker 1: a discussion.
- 16:58Speaker 8: No, I have to tell you what.
- 17:00Speaker 7: Southfield, Michigan. Yeah, your congressperson is Taleb believe it or not.
- 17:06Speaker 7: She goes all the way up to Suthfield and Oakland County.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Yeah. It's a strange situation. There's all. It's a couple
- 17:14Speaker 1: places that went totally insane outside of Detroit. Their suburbs
- 17:20Speaker 1: now there that are like taken over by isis practically.
- 17:23Speaker 1: I mean, it's like the most radical nuts and you
- 17:26Speaker 1: see it in Minnesota with all these radical nuts ups
- 17:30Speaker 1: taken over huge areas of But you remember when Obama
- 17:34Speaker 1: left the border wide open, and previous presidents and they
- 17:37Speaker 1: would kind of shuffle those illegals around, especially the worst
- 17:40Speaker 1: of them, to certain places, and just overload them with
- 17:43Speaker 1: that and just totally take over the population. Elect the
- 17:46Speaker 1: most wacko nut job people to Congress. Let's go to
- 17:50Speaker 1: Kathy North Carolina. Kathy, how you doing?
- 17:54Speaker 9: Mark?
- 17:54Speaker 2: I just have two things quick. I hope I can
- 17:56Speaker 2: get both of them. And first question is about the
- 17:59Speaker 2: Iranian in all girls' school we supposedly bombed.
- 18:03Speaker 7: I'm not saying we don't know.
- 18:04Speaker 1: We don't know, I thought, but I.
- 18:06Speaker 2: Thought Duran doesn't have education for girls. I thought that
- 18:09Speaker 2: was the whole point. Was that or is that just Afghanistan?
- 18:12Speaker 2: They didn't they didn't educate the girls.
- 18:14Speaker 1: I thought, No, I think they do, but again it's
- 18:17Speaker 1: not confirmed. It's just Iranian s report.
- 18:19Speaker 9: I get that.
- 18:20Speaker 2: And then the second thing is that with you know,
- 18:23Speaker 2: we we know so many people suffer from Trump derangement syndrome,
- 18:27Speaker 2: but I just want to make sure that we all
- 18:29Speaker 2: don't do the same thing with mom Donnie. You know,
- 18:32Speaker 2: he wanted fair and square.
- 18:34Speaker 9: You know, we didn't.
- 18:35Speaker 2: We don't agree with him.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Anti Semite who thinks Hamas was doing the right thing
- 18:41Speaker 1: on October seventh? Would you invite that guy to dinner?
- 18:44Speaker 9: No? And I.
- 18:48Speaker 2: Don't think that's great. And I think he said he
- 18:49Speaker 2: paid for it himself, but who cares. No, not that part.
- 18:52Speaker 2: I'm just talking about some city things that he's doing with,
- 18:56Speaker 2: you know, and just to try to support him because
- 18:59Speaker 2: he's in there and we need to try to try
- 19:02Speaker 2: to at least, you know, tolerate him.
- 19:04Speaker 1: And not say that's the that's the that's the Trump approach.
- 19:08Speaker 1: But on the sometimes he I mean, listen, he's not
- 19:10Speaker 1: going to be a great mayor. He's got absolutely no experience,
- 19:13Speaker 1: doesn't know what the hell he's doing. And that's bad enough.
- 19:16Speaker 1: But if you got the worst anti Semite, anti Israel
- 19:19Speaker 1: Hamas supporter who thinks October seventh was just fine and
- 19:23Speaker 1: you want to secretly talk to him, that's one thing.
- 19:25Speaker 1: But you invite him openly to dinner at Gracie Mansion,
- 19:28Speaker 1: that's really pushing things too far. Let's go to Rich
- 19:32Speaker 1: Myrtle Beach. Rich, how you doing?
- 19:34Speaker 10: Hey?
- 19:34Speaker 9: Pretty good? Walk our gas won up a dollar over
- 19:37Speaker 9: the last week and a half, two weeks. But you
- 19:39Speaker 9: know what the whole thing is speculations, like they already
- 19:41Speaker 9: have oil in this country, they already have the gas
- 19:43Speaker 9: in the ground. It's just all speculation. And then this
- 19:46Speaker 9: once the things calmed down, the speculation comes down, and
- 19:49Speaker 9: then again the prices will come down just as fast
- 19:52Speaker 9: as they want up. The other thing is I get
- 19:54Speaker 9: a big kick at a police commission a tish. Every
- 19:57Speaker 9: time she stands next to mom dommy these press cons
- 20:00Speaker 9: she is probably displaying her Jewish star around her neck
- 20:04Speaker 9: on the outside of the clothes. I think that's awesome.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I've noticed that. Good for her. Let's go to Maa
- 20:10Speaker 1: in Nevada. Mara, how you doing good?
- 20:13Speaker 7: Mark?
- 20:14Speaker 11: How you do? And Chalvin?
- 20:17Speaker 1: You sounds you sound too nice when you do it.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Now it's got to be it's how are you It's
- 20:25Speaker 1: got to be Gravelly.
- 20:26Speaker 11: No, that's Manhattan. Look how nice you said it? How
- 20:29Speaker 11: are you doing it?
- 20:29Speaker 7: Ah? You do it?
- 20:31Speaker 11: The monk, it's the off topic. You recommended Art mac.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Art, Donald's the Big Arch. It's delicious.
- 20:39Speaker 11: I'm going to tell you I have I'm not a
- 20:41Speaker 11: fast food fan. A benet in a MCA McDonald in
- 20:44Speaker 11: fifty years. I got it. It's delicious. Of course, it's
- 20:49Speaker 11: two and a half meals for me. It is delicious, delicious.
- 20:55Speaker 1: It is great. I'm glad you agree. The Big Arch
- 20:57Speaker 1: is the latest thing from McDonald's. It's big. It's it's
- 21:00Speaker 1: much much much better than a Big Mac and much bigger.
- 21:04Speaker 1: It says for a limited time, which means they're waiting
- 21:06Speaker 1: to see how it sells. So I loved it. Go
- 21:09Speaker 1: get it the Big Arch. Go to McDonald's and get one,
- 21:11Speaker 1: because if they don't get enough sales, they'll probably drop it.
- 21:14Speaker 1: When they say for a limited time, they're just waiting
- 21:16Speaker 1: to see if it does well or not. And if
- 21:18Speaker 1: you haven't been to McDonald's in a long time, especially
- 21:22Speaker 1: if you're out in the suburbs, they're nicer. It's really good.
- 21:26Speaker 1: You don't have to talk to anybody. You just go
- 21:29Speaker 1: to the board, you click and whatever you want you
- 21:31Speaker 1: order it. You give you a table number. They bring
- 21:34Speaker 1: it right to your table. You don't have to wait
- 21:36Speaker 1: and talk to anybody in there the whole time. Hey,
- 21:39Speaker 1: when we come back, Howie car will be with us next.
- 21:41Speaker 1: Let's see what he thinks about all of this in
- 21:44Speaker 1: just a second on seven to ten wor mister New
- 21:47Speaker 1: York Mama marks them on seven to ten wo R Well.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Howie Carr is one of the very best talk show
- 21:54Speaker 1: hosts in the world. You can hear them on iHeart.
- 21:58Speaker 1: Also a best selling author. Love his books and his
- 22:02Speaker 1: latest book is Mass Corruption. You could get it at Amazon,
- 22:06Speaker 1: and you can get everything at Howie carshow dot com.
- 22:09Speaker 1: His website, Howie carsshow dot com. Howie Carr, how you
- 22:13Speaker 1: doing very well?
- 22:15Speaker 12: Better than the the Iyatola, the new Iatola?
- 22:19Speaker 1: Yeah, well it's the son of the old Diola. But
- 22:23Speaker 1: would you would you take that job? How long? How long?
- 22:25Speaker 1: Would how long you think your life insurance company would
- 22:28Speaker 1: let you keep the policy? Yeah?
- 22:30Speaker 12: There used to be an old joke about people who
- 22:32Speaker 12: were on what they called the hip parade an organized
- 22:35Speaker 12: scribe wouldn't want to be standing next to it. And
- 22:38Speaker 12: I think this guy falls into that category. You know,
- 22:42Speaker 12: don't be standing too close to the new Iotola.
- 22:45Speaker 8: Now.
- 22:46Speaker 12: Now it turns out apparently his his father, the ruthless,
- 22:50Speaker 12: bloodthirsty dictator, he had written him out of the will.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Oh.
- 22:56Speaker 12: I mean, you know the thing I don't understand, Mark,
- 22:59Speaker 12: is I thought the overthrew the show for one reason
- 23:02Speaker 12: in nineteen seventy nine, because they didn't want a hereditary monarchy. Yeah,
- 23:06Speaker 12: and now it seems like all these years later, they
- 23:10Speaker 12: they've gone back to a hereditary succession.
- 23:13Speaker 9: Right.
- 23:13Speaker 1: Well, but that's this assembly of experts. Apparently I told
- 23:16Speaker 1: himself did not want to have his son take over.
- 23:19Speaker 12: Right right, But you know who else was going to
- 23:22Speaker 12: take over? And I guess these these hardliners, I mean,
- 23:26Speaker 12: I don't understand that why they would bomb. You know,
- 23:30Speaker 12: they're you know, people who were at least neutral and
- 23:32Speaker 12: maybe like kind of secretly rooting for them, you know,
- 23:35Speaker 12: I mean, you know, not even Hitler. Hitler didn't send
- 23:39Speaker 12: skiing Nazis into Switzerland during World War Two? You know,
- 23:42Speaker 12: I mean, this is this is just this crazy, isn't it.
- 23:45Speaker 12: I Mean it's it's like they're proving the point that
- 23:47Speaker 12: they're they're they're lunatics and they can't be trusted with
- 23:51Speaker 12: these these munitions. You know, it's they're they're proving they're
- 23:55Speaker 12: proving Trump and you know who's point.
- 23:58Speaker 1: Aren't They mean, they just hate this I told his kid,
- 24:01Speaker 1: and they want to get rid of him, so they
- 24:02Speaker 1: figure the quick's way to get rid of him is
- 24:04Speaker 1: make them a new leader, and it'll be going in
- 24:06Speaker 1: a few days.
- 24:06Speaker 12: Well, I heard yesterday that, you know that there were
- 24:09Speaker 12: reports that maybe he had lost a leg in the
- 24:13Speaker 12: in the attack that killed his parents and his wife
- 24:16Speaker 12: and everybody else. And you know, so then so then
- 24:20Speaker 12: of course the jokes flooded in on my show. You know,
- 24:22Speaker 12: but he didn't have a leg to stand on. And
- 24:26Speaker 12: you know, he's he's busier than a than a one hour,
- 24:29Speaker 12: than a one legged man in an ass kicking contest,
- 24:31Speaker 12: et cetera, et cetera, all the old jokes.
- 24:34Speaker 1: Yeah, now this I told his son. In that bombing
- 24:36Speaker 1: of those leaders, he lost his wife, his son, his mother,
- 24:39Speaker 1: So I would imagine he's not too America friendly. This
- 24:42Speaker 1: is a new I told his son.
- 24:44Speaker 12: Yeah, But what's he going to do? I mean, the
- 24:46Speaker 12: the missile launchers are down ninety two, you know, and
- 24:49Speaker 12: every every day they go down another I mean they,
- 24:52Speaker 12: I mean, they'll still keep going after him, because you
- 24:54Speaker 12: know what, all it takes is one missile to kill
- 24:56Speaker 12: a bunch of people, but any in any of these countries,
- 24:59Speaker 12: but you know, they there it's becoming negligible.
- 25:02Speaker 1: Now, I mean, what are they going to do?
- 25:04Speaker 12: Mean, but I Mark, tell me, how does it?
- 25:07Speaker 1: How does it end?
- 25:08Speaker 12: I mean, if they if they just want to keep
- 25:10Speaker 12: if they say they're not going to surrender, do you
- 25:12Speaker 12: do you just keep bombing them and bombing them and
- 25:14Speaker 12: bombing them.
- 25:15Speaker 1: Yeah, let's try that for another week. See what happens.
- 25:17Speaker 12: I know, just I mean, I know it's this is
- 25:19Speaker 12: this is still very early days, you know. I mean,
- 25:23Speaker 12: we want to cease fire. We want to see this
- 25:25Speaker 12: is like it's if there were if this were Pearl Harbor.
- 25:28Speaker 12: You know, there's last Saturday. It's not even Christmas nineteen
- 25:31Speaker 12: forty one. Yet they're already saying, let's stop the war.
- 25:35Speaker 12: Let's stop the war.
- 25:36Speaker 1: Yeah, they call it the Endless War. It's now day eleven,
- 25:39Speaker 1: Endless War. So hey, Howie Carr, you wrote the best
- 25:42Speaker 1: books ever written about the Kennedys. You are the best
- 25:45Speaker 1: Kennedy expert. You know, this new JFK Junior mini series
- 25:51Speaker 1: is like the hottest thing now streaming. Everybody's talking about this,
- 25:55Speaker 1: and the family's all upset. They're exploiting the kendidate. Don't
- 25:58Speaker 1: you think that it's the first time the Kennon He's
- 26:00Speaker 1: ever got any positive publicity in the last few years. Yeah,
- 26:06Speaker 1: it really is.
- 26:06Speaker 12: I mean sometimes the stories are sad, you know, a
- 26:09Speaker 12: drug overdose or a drowning or something like that. But yeah,
- 26:12Speaker 12: there's never there's never anything popular. Yeah, that's positive. I
- 26:16Speaker 12: mean look the the son, the son, the the the
- 26:20Speaker 12: heir apparent lost to asynate primary in Massachusetts to Ed Markey,
- 26:27Speaker 12: and I mean your yeah, you know, I don't know
- 26:29Speaker 12: how familiar national audience is with Ed Markey, but I
- 26:33Speaker 12: mean he's he's really on the Biden spectrum. Yeah, I mean,
- 26:37Speaker 12: especially when it comes to walking, he's he's doddering around.
- 26:40Speaker 12: And a Kennedy named Joe Kennedy the second couldn't beat him,
- 26:46Speaker 12: and mass got quashed there. And and then this this
- 26:50Speaker 12: kid that's running for a Nadler's seat. I mean that
- 26:53Speaker 12: guy is he's certifiable, isn't he.
- 26:57Speaker 1: Kennedy? Oh no, he could win. I mean that's a
- 27:00Speaker 1: Democratic district. Could if you get the nomination, you win.
- 27:03Speaker 1: I mean it's it's.
- 27:04Speaker 12: Oh, I know, but I mean he can't get did
- 27:06Speaker 12: he get the nomination?
- 27:06Speaker 1: As crazy as he is, I don't know. Hey, look
- 27:10Speaker 1: look who got elected mayor. Look who's our governor?
- 27:13Speaker 12: I know, well, you know, you know what he Now
- 27:15Speaker 12: that I think about it, he kind of looks like
- 27:16Speaker 12: one of those bomb throwers at Gracie BANCHI doesn't he
- 27:20Speaker 12: Have you ever seen him in the bomb thrower in
- 27:22Speaker 12: the same.
- 27:24Speaker 1: He is completely nuts? So what is it with this
- 27:26Speaker 1: Kennedy family? You know, every family has a black sheep,
- 27:28Speaker 1: Every family has a tragedy somewhere or a. This family
- 27:33Speaker 1: has tragedies everywhere, nuts everywhere in the family. Even JFK. Junior,
- 27:38Speaker 1: the one that we really love, the one good life
- 27:40Speaker 1: ends in tragedy. What is it with the Kennedy's and
- 27:42Speaker 1: all the tragedy.
- 27:44Speaker 12: I don't well, I think part of it is just
- 27:46Speaker 12: the you know, they take chances. I mean, like the
- 27:50Speaker 12: you know, the oldest son, Joe Kennedy, I mean, he
- 27:53Speaker 12: finished up his time in World War Two, had flown
- 27:56Speaker 12: all these missions that he just decided to go back
- 27:59Speaker 12: out for another one and and got blown up. I mean,
- 28:01Speaker 12: they they all do. His kick the woman who was
- 28:06Speaker 12: killed in the plane plane crash. Look at how many
- 28:09Speaker 12: of them have died in plane crashes, including uh, you
- 28:11Speaker 12: know some of Epple Eppele's CA call Kennedy's parents and
- 28:16Speaker 12: her brother. I think they all died in plane crashes.
- 28:19Speaker 12: I mean, it's just crazy. I tell you another thing too,
- 28:22Speaker 12: I mean, this is just my aunt. My aunt used
- 28:25Speaker 12: to say that Irish people who sold booze to other
- 28:28Speaker 12: Irish people always ended up, you know, getting the curse.
- 28:33Speaker 12: And uh you know, I hadn't thought of that for
- 28:36Speaker 12: years and years. But maybe Aunt Kay was on for something.
- 28:38Speaker 13: I don't know.
- 28:39Speaker 12: I mean, because that's I mean Joe Kennedy, uh well,
- 28:43Speaker 12: and his father, Patrick Kennedy, they were both they were
- 28:45Speaker 12: both big booze sellers to their own people.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Yeah, there's that story about Joe Kennedy a million years ago.
- 28:52Speaker 1: He was on that ship in first class and there
- 28:54Speaker 1: was an Orthodox rabbi with his people there, and Kennedy
- 28:58Speaker 1: was so vicious, so rude to him, and that the
- 29:01Speaker 1: rabbi put a curse on him. Remember really, Yeah, it's
- 29:05Speaker 1: an old it's it was always said that that was
- 29:08Speaker 1: where it all started, the tragedy.
- 29:09Speaker 12: Well, yeah, you know, have you ever read that book,
- 29:12Speaker 12: mister s about Frank Sinatra.
- 29:14Speaker 1: Oh, it's one of the best books ever written. George Jacobs, Sure.
- 29:18Speaker 12: It is, George j That is such a great book.
- 29:20Speaker 12: But I always remember what he said. You know, he said,
- 29:23Speaker 12: I was working for Frank Sinatra. I met all the mobsters,
- 29:26Speaker 12: the Jewish mobsters, the Italian mobstership, but the worst mobster
- 29:30Speaker 12: I ever met, worst organized crime guy, Joe Kennedy. He
- 29:34Speaker 12: went to Harvard.
- 29:37Speaker 1: And we can't say it on the air, but the jokes.
- 29:39Speaker 12: I can't repeat. We can't repeat the jokes on the
- 29:41Speaker 12: air that Joe Kennedy used to tell.
- 29:44Speaker 1: Yeah, Joe Kennedy in Sinatra's dinner parties would say the
- 29:47Speaker 1: most ugly, racist, anti Semitic things you could. We can't
- 29:50Speaker 1: even repeat it on the here. It's so vulgar. Yeah,
- 29:52Speaker 1: but it's a great book.
- 29:55Speaker 12: And yet and yet down here in Palm Beach, you know,
- 29:57Speaker 12: they wouldn't let him in any of the speak clubs
- 30:00Speaker 12: because obviously it was a gangster. So he had to
- 30:04Speaker 12: play golf at the Jewish country club. I always was
- 30:07Speaker 12: I always wondered about that, the pomp. That's where he
- 30:09Speaker 12: had a stroke at the Palm Beach country Club, play
- 30:11Speaker 12: playing golf.
- 30:12Speaker 1: Oh yeah. In the last few years of his life,
- 30:15Speaker 1: he was basically bedridden, right, it was awful.
- 30:18Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 30:18Speaker 12: No. All he could say was no, no.
- 30:23Speaker 1: Well, if you want more of this, Get how He Cars.
- 30:25Speaker 1: He's got these great books Kennedy Babylon and Volume.
- 30:29Speaker 12: Two, Kerry Babylon Volumes one and two. Hey, I got
- 30:31Speaker 12: They're still They're still around. I'm gonna this this summer.
- 30:35Speaker 12: I'm gonna get I'm going to hook up with Amazon
- 30:37Speaker 12: and have Amazon just take over printing them and then
- 30:39Speaker 12: they'll be readily available at popular prices. Yet again. I

- 31:38Speaker 1: that old, but it's gonna be like seventy three and
- 31:41Speaker 1: sunny here in New York City. So go out and
- 31:42Speaker 1: enjoy it. We got another hour to go and a
- 31:45Speaker 1: lot to get to him here every day ten to

- 31:51Speaker 1: wry it's the Mark Simone Show on seventeen wor.
- 32:00Speaker 9: Well, i's got to this hour.
- 32:03Speaker 1: I also will get to Well, look, it's going to
- 32:06Speaker 1: be a beautiful day today. It's going to be a
- 32:08Speaker 1: seventy two should be the high right in the middle
- 32:10Speaker 1: of New York City. Seventy two will be the high today.
- 32:13Speaker 1: That's great. Stock market up. As soon as the war's over,
- 32:16Speaker 1: which could be in a few days, could be next week,
- 32:19Speaker 1: it'll go way up.
- 32:21Speaker 9: And then.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Oil prices when will they come down? Well, they got
- 32:25Speaker 1: to start moving tankers through the straits of Hormouse. It'll
- 32:29Speaker 1: take possibly a navy escort. The United States might have
- 32:33Speaker 1: to provide the insurance. Since Lloyd's of London is right
- 32:36Speaker 1: now not ensuring any tankers. But as soon as the
- 32:39Speaker 1: first tanker or two moves through the straits, that'll bring
- 32:42Speaker 1: the prices way down. And when will that happen. Probably
- 32:45Speaker 1: next week, Probably next week, the tankers will start moving.
- 32:48Speaker 1: By the way, in California, here's a gas station and
- 32:52Speaker 1: on TikTok somebody has put up video of the gas
- 32:55Speaker 1: station showing the gas pump eight twenty two a gallon,
- 33:00Speaker 1: eight dollars and twenty two cents a gallon. Now that's
- 33:03Speaker 1: Gavin Newsom. There's absolutely no reason for that. President Trump
- 33:07Speaker 1: takes office, brings gas prices down to like two forty everywhere,
- 33:11Speaker 1: but in New York it's worth still three eighty. It's
- 33:14Speaker 1: still four dollars. That's all due to state and local taxes.
- 33:18Speaker 1: Same thing. In California. It should be about two dollars
- 33:21Speaker 1: and fifty cents. Well, with the war, it should be
- 33:23Speaker 1: about three dollars and twenty cents, but it's eight dollars
- 33:26Speaker 1: and twenty cents thanks to Gavin Newsom and all these
- 33:30Speaker 1: stupid local taxes and all this stuff. Harvey Weinstein is
- 33:35Speaker 1: in prison, he's still in Rikers Island, and he's given
- 33:38Speaker 1: a big Riker's interview, opening up about prison and saying
- 33:44Speaker 1: that it's everybody's out to get him in prison. Well
- 33:46Speaker 1: that was He is kind of an obnoxious guy. Even
- 33:49Speaker 1: in real life. He was a horrible guy to be around,
- 33:52Speaker 1: just a big, bullyish, obnoxious guy. Anyway. He tells one
- 33:57Speaker 1: story about he was waiting to use the phone and
- 33:59Speaker 1: the guy I was on the phone, and then he said,
- 34:01Speaker 1: are you done with the phone? And the guy turned
- 34:04Speaker 1: around and punched him very hard in the face, knocking
- 34:07Speaker 1: him to the ground, blood all over the place, in
- 34:10Speaker 1: the hospital for a day or two. He said, that's
- 34:12Speaker 1: the kind of stuff that could happen to him. So
- 34:14Speaker 1: Harvey says he spends twenty three hours a day in
- 34:17Speaker 1: his cell. He's afraid to go out in the yard
- 34:20Speaker 1: when they have time to go out there because of
- 34:22Speaker 1: what will happen to him with the other prisoners. Twenty
- 34:24Speaker 1: three hours a day in his cell. He likes to
- 34:27Speaker 1: read a lot of books. He orders books on Amazon
- 34:31Speaker 1: and they get delivered. I didn't know you could get
- 34:34Speaker 1: Amazon in prison. I assume they open up your Amazon
- 34:39Speaker 1: packages and take a look at what's in there. Now.
- 34:43Speaker 1: When the guy punched him and all that. Of course
- 34:45Speaker 1: they want to know who punched you because he was
- 34:47Speaker 1: badly injured. He said, Deek, you can't rat. That's the
- 34:50Speaker 1: rule law of the jungle. You can't rat. So I
- 34:54Speaker 1: guess he did the interview to get sympathy. I don't know,
- 34:56Speaker 1: do you have any sympathy for him? I don't know
- 34:59Speaker 1: a bad guy. And I mean, I'm not a woman,
- 35:02Speaker 1: I'm a guy. And whenever I talked to him and
- 35:04Speaker 1: got ugly and he yell and scream at you about
- 35:07Speaker 1: you because you weren't supporting Hillary Clinton or something like that,
- 35:10Speaker 1: he was just so imagine if you're a woman, you
- 35:12Speaker 1: had to put up with this guy. So he's going
- 35:16Speaker 1: to stay there for a while. They the interviewer even
- 35:19Speaker 1: asked him, what about to think about how you could
- 35:23Speaker 1: die in prison, and he said, that's the one nightmare
- 35:26Speaker 1: I have, dying in prison. He's got a few kids,
- 35:28Speaker 1: some of them talk to him, some of them don't
- 35:30Speaker 1: talk to him. But he's still in Rikers Island, and
- 35:34Speaker 1: I don't know does he deserve it? Well, he deserved
- 35:37Speaker 1: to be in there for a little while forever. I
- 35:40Speaker 1: don't know. Hey, Uber, I don't understand this Uber policy
- 35:46Speaker 1: now you know, there have been incidents where an Uber
- 35:49Speaker 1: driver gets a female passenger and something terrible happens. You know,
- 35:54Speaker 1: he tries to attack the female passenger or molestor or
- 35:58Speaker 1: something that was sexually harassed. So there have been incidents
- 36:02Speaker 1: like this. So Uber announces now and it's getting all
- 36:05Speaker 1: kinds of publicity everywhere that they're going to have a
- 36:07Speaker 1: new thing now where if you're a female and when
- 36:10Speaker 1: you click for an Uber, you know, you can push
- 36:12Speaker 1: certain things. If you want I want a suv, I
- 36:14Speaker 1: want a regular car, I want a super luxury car.
- 36:17Speaker 1: There's different things you can you can out push if
- 36:19Speaker 1: you want a female driver. Now, I understand the purpose
- 36:25Speaker 1: of this because there's some women that if you've had
- 36:28Speaker 1: an incident with an Uber driver, then you probably want
- 36:30Speaker 1: to push for a female driver. But by doing this,
- 36:36Speaker 1: I'm just thinking everything can go wrong. Well, first of all,
- 36:38Speaker 1: you're acknowledging that you got a problem by having to
- 36:40Speaker 1: put in this system, So you're acknowledging that there is
- 36:43Speaker 1: a big problem there. Also, if I were Uber and
- 36:48Speaker 1: I've had this problem, I think the answer would be
- 36:50Speaker 1: you got to learn to do better screening of who
- 36:52Speaker 1: you hire to be drivers. You've got to be much
- 36:55Speaker 1: more careful who you hire and be that uber. I
- 37:01Speaker 1: don't know how hard it is to find uber drivers,
- 37:03Speaker 1: but they need so many of them. Maybe they can't
- 37:05Speaker 1: be that fussy. So that's the problem. And now the
- 37:08Speaker 1: other thing is I think every guy is now going
- 37:13Speaker 1: to push that button. Every guy's gonna want well and
- 37:16Speaker 1: not every guy, but every guy who's looking for trouble
- 37:18Speaker 1: is going to want a female driver. I mean, so
- 37:20Speaker 1: you're going to have that. Remember they created that dating site,
- 37:23Speaker 1: Ashley Madison. It was for married people who wanted to cheat,
- 37:29Speaker 1: So if you were married, you'd go on Ashley Madison
- 37:32Speaker 1: you can meet another married person, and that was the idea.
- 37:37Speaker 1: But it turns out every guy on Ashley Madison is
- 37:40Speaker 1: single because they said, well, this is perfect. You're gonna
- 37:43Speaker 1: get a married woman who can't really go out much
- 37:45Speaker 1: and can only just run over and have sex with
- 37:47Speaker 1: in the middle of the day and go home. So
- 37:49Speaker 1: every single guy in the world went on Ashley Madison.
- 37:52Speaker 1: So I think this uber thing could backfire. It's getting
- 37:55Speaker 1: them a lot of publicity, I guess. I guess that's good.
- 37:58Speaker 1: So you know that Phil Rosenthal, who does that somebody
- 38:04Speaker 1: feed Phil or whatever that is. It's a big Netflix series.
- 38:07Speaker 1: You watch Phil Rosenthal run around the world eating things.
- 38:11Speaker 1: It's not the most exciting show, but it's very popular.
- 38:13Speaker 1: It's doing very well. It's on Netflix now. The point
- 38:19Speaker 1: of this is in twenty twenty seven, he's moving to
- 38:22Speaker 1: YouTube from Netflix. Now he's not the only one to
- 38:27Speaker 1: do this. And we'll have Bill O'Reilly on later this hour.
- 38:30Speaker 1: He's starting. He's got a big now YouTube channel. This
- 38:34Speaker 1: is something to keep an eye on because streaming is
- 38:37Speaker 1: dominated by Netflix and those sort of services. Everybody thinks
- 38:43Speaker 1: YouTube and I are Wray, but a lot of media
- 38:45Speaker 1: people think YouTube could become the dominant force. It's different
- 38:50Speaker 1: from streaming and that it's open to anybody, anybody. It's
- 38:53Speaker 1: like television. You don't have to have a subscription. You
- 38:55Speaker 1: just go on YouTube and you can watch it. Now
- 38:57Speaker 1: you'll get commercials. But somebody feed Pill and others moving
- 39:06Speaker 1: their show from Netflix to YouTube. Look at that crazy
- 39:09Speaker 1: Piers Morgan. He just raised thirty dollars to start his
- 39:14Speaker 1: own channel. He just hired the former president of MSNBC
- 39:18Speaker 1: to run it. And he's looking to start a YouTube channel. Now,
- 39:21Speaker 1: when you say whoa MSNBC president. That doesn't it's not
- 39:26Speaker 1: for any partisan or political reasons. He wants her. She's
- 39:29Speaker 1: apparently an expert at management infrastructure setting up an organization.
- 39:35Speaker 1: But keep an eye on YouTube too. If he went
- 39:38Speaker 1: into a coma and woke up about five years from now,
- 39:40Speaker 1: you might find that everything is on YouTube. Everything. And
- 39:44Speaker 1: there's a couple other services. If you don't have these apps,
- 39:47Speaker 1: download them. Pluto TV. Pluto TV is my favorite app
- 39:53Speaker 1: now because it has all your favorite old shows and
- 39:58Speaker 1: each show has its own share panel, so it's twenty
- 40:01Speaker 1: four hours a day. Like there's a Blue Bloods channel
- 40:04Speaker 1: and you can just watch Blue Bloods twenty four hours
- 40:07Speaker 1: a day. It has a Perry Mason channel, it has
- 40:10Speaker 1: a Breaking Bad channel, it has a Law and Order channel,
- 40:14Speaker 1: twenty four hour channels, your favorite show, all in the family,
- 40:18Speaker 1: and it's free. It's free. Now. There's commercials like regular TV,
- 40:21Speaker 1: not as many as regular TV, but it has commercials.
- 40:23Speaker 1: But Pluto TV. Download it. You'll love it. Hey, late
- 40:27Speaker 1: night TV, Now, this is interesting. Conan O'Brien goes on
- 40:31Speaker 1: that podcast Hot Ones, you know, that's the one where
- 40:34Speaker 1: they talk while they're eating chicken wings, and they got
- 40:36Speaker 1: all those different sauces in front of them. But he
- 40:39Speaker 1: said he realized it's really the end of late night TV.
- 40:42Speaker 1: It's dead, it's gone because he went on Hot Ones
- 40:46Speaker 1: and his episode was seen by fifteen million people. Now
- 40:50Speaker 1: if he went on Colbert, he might get seen by
- 40:54Speaker 1: one million. That's it. And Colbert revealed that over the
- 41:00Speaker 1: last few years he's been talking to Conan O'Brien, and
- 41:03Speaker 1: Conan O'Brien has been urging him to quit late night TV.
- 41:07Speaker 1: Get the hell out of there. He said, there's so
- 41:08Speaker 1: much more to do out there in the world. Problem is,
- 41:11Speaker 1: network TV is dead, it's dying, it's over. Network TV
- 41:17Speaker 1: shows don't get much audience anymore. The old Tonight Show
- 41:22Speaker 1: with Johnny Carson on a good night, well, an average
- 41:25Speaker 1: night you get eight nine million viewers. On a good
- 41:26Speaker 1: night you get fifteen million. Colbert Today, you're lucky if
- 41:31Speaker 1: you get one million. It's just dying. Jimmy Kimmel nothing,
- 41:35Speaker 1: who's that one after Seth Myers, It's like a couple
- 41:37Speaker 1: one hundred thousand people. Nobody sees it. Network TV does
- 41:42Speaker 1: not get much viewership anymore. So Conan was just telling Colbert,
- 41:49Speaker 1: get out, go do something. Else, do a podcast, do
- 41:52Speaker 1: other things. You can reach many, many, many more people
- 41:55Speaker 1: urge him to quit. Now Colbert has done, he's been fired.
- 41:58Speaker 1: He'll be off the air. And may CBS always says
- 42:01Speaker 1: it's not political, it's financial, which means they're admitting the
- 42:05Speaker 1: show's a ratings disaster. It's a total disaster. And the difference,
- 42:09Speaker 1: you know, the Colbert TV show is about one hundred
- 42:11Speaker 1: and ten employees. This Hot Ones podcast probably has two employees,
- 42:16Speaker 1: and it's seen by ten times as many people. So
- 42:19Speaker 1: you're going to see the end of Late night TV.
- 42:21Speaker 1: It's hard to believe. I mean, luckily Johnny Carson didn't
- 42:25Speaker 1: live to see the death of Late Night or Steve Allen,
- 42:28Speaker 1: who created it, created the Tonight Show. You know, he
- 42:31Speaker 1: began it on radio. The Tonight Show started on radio
- 42:34Speaker 1: nineteen forty nine in Los Angeles. Steve Allen, who had
- 42:37Speaker 1: been bouncing around Los Angeles radio CBS, the local station,
- 42:42Speaker 1: gave him a late night show in Los Angeles in
- 42:45Speaker 1: nineteen forty nine, late night radio show, and nobody had
- 42:49Speaker 1: ever done this before. He came out and kind of
- 42:50Speaker 1: did a monologue, and then he would go out into
- 42:53Speaker 1: the audience and talk to people and get laughs and
- 42:55Speaker 1: then he would have celebrities on an interview. It was
- 42:57Speaker 1: the Tonight Show, and that's what he did. Came very big.
- 43:01Speaker 1: It was a huge show in Los Angeles and the
- 43:03Speaker 1: biggest stars started to listen to it and they all
- 43:05Speaker 1: wanted to come on it. It was so big that
- 43:07Speaker 1: CBS brought him to New York to do a television show.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Was the beginning of television, early fifties, and they tried
- 43:14Speaker 1: a whole bunch of different things. They didn't let him
- 43:16Speaker 1: do that show, but they tried other things, game shows.
- 43:18Speaker 1: This stuff was not as successful, so the CBS contract ended,
- 43:23Speaker 1: they didn't renew it, and the local station here in
- 43:26Speaker 1: New York, channel four WNBCTV gave him a late night
- 43:29Speaker 1: show eleven thirty at night, and they said, well, what
- 43:32Speaker 1: do you want to do. He said, I'd like to
- 43:33Speaker 1: do what I did on that radio show in Los Angeles,
- 43:37Speaker 1: and he did it. It was the beginning of the
- 43:39Speaker 1: Tonight Show. It was a local show for a year,
- 43:41Speaker 1: did so well they put it on the network and
- 43:44Speaker 1: because they had a show called Today, the Today's Show,
- 43:48Speaker 1: they called this thing the Tonight Show, and that's how
- 43:51Speaker 1: it started. Steve Allen created it. Jack Parr was huge,
- 43:54Speaker 1: Johnny Carson was huge. Jay Leno that was like the
- 43:58Speaker 1: beginning of the end. Jay Leno. He was great with
- 44:00Speaker 1: the monologue, but after that it wasn't working, and he
- 44:03Speaker 1: got rid of a lot of things. No more announcer
- 44:06Speaker 1: sidekick that was Leno that first got rid of that.
- 44:10Speaker 1: And then no more new comedians being introduced all the time,
- 44:14Speaker 1: big mistake. And then but Leno was still funny and
- 44:18Speaker 1: the monologue was balanced, make fun of Democrats, make fun
- 44:21Speaker 1: of Republicans. It was perfect. Then you got that next generation,
- 44:25Speaker 1: well actually was Letterman when he went to CBS. About
- 44:29Speaker 1: six years into the CBS show, he started to go
- 44:32Speaker 1: very partisan. And you remember the last five years of Letterman,
- 44:35Speaker 1: the monologue was ridiculously partisan and tough to watch. He
- 44:39Speaker 1: got lost half his audience that way. And then Colbert
- 44:43Speaker 1: came along and completely destroyed late night TV, and Kimmel
- 44:47Speaker 1: got even worse, so partisan, so nasty, ugly that it
- 44:51Speaker 1: just destroyed Late night and it's pretty much gone. Watch
- 44:54Speaker 1: when Colbert goes off the here in May, there won't
- 44:56Speaker 1: be another talk show. There'll be a game show, something
- 44:59Speaker 1: much cheaper. And remember when they took Kimmel off for
- 45:02Speaker 1: a week. They put on reruns of Password and it
- 45:05Speaker 1: got triple the ratings, triple the ratings of Kimmel. So
- 45:10Speaker 1: you'll see that happen with Colbert and then with Kimmel.
- 45:13Speaker 1: Maybe the tonight show'll stay a little longer. Hey, we'll
- 45:15Speaker 1: take some calls next eight hundred three to two one
- 45:19Speaker 1: zero seven ten is the number eight hundred three two
- 45:23Speaker 1: one zero seven ten. You know, we're having that big
- 45:26Speaker 1: networking event March nineteenth. A lot of business leaders CEOs
- 45:32Speaker 1: March nineteenth, six to eight pm. This is beautiful new
- 45:35Speaker 1: office building, two Park Avenue, Park Avenue and thirty fourth Street,
- 45:41Speaker 1: and they got a big venue if you're looking to
- 45:43Speaker 1: do a corporate event, nice venue on the top with
- 45:46Speaker 1: beautiful views of New York in the skyline. It's got
- 45:49Speaker 1: a great outdoor terrace. So we're going to do a
- 45:51Speaker 1: big party there, networking event if you want to meet
- 45:54Speaker 1: some business leaders, decision makers, March nineteenth, from six to
- 45:58Speaker 1: eight pm. I'll be there, he meant he'll be there.
- 46:01Speaker 1: Curtis Lee what will be there. He'll make a little speech.
- 46:04Speaker 1: He's a great speaker, and you can be there now.
- 46:07Speaker 1: The space is very limited, So you've got a RSVP.
- 46:11Speaker 1: You can do that by going to seven ten WR
- 46:15Speaker 1: dot com slash live seven ten wor dot com slash
- 46:20Speaker 1: live set up.
- 46:21Speaker 7: Re said on the iHeartRadio app to w o R
- 46:25Speaker 7: to hear Mark live.
- 46:26Speaker 10: Set another for Mark's podcast to hear him anytime.
- 46:30Speaker 7: Now back to Mark Zimon on wo R.
- 46:35Speaker 1: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to h Stuart
- 46:38Speaker 1: north Bergen, Stuart, how you doing very good?
- 46:41Speaker 13: Mark?
- 46:41Speaker 10: Thanks for taking my call. The reason I'm calling, you know,
- 46:45Speaker 10: hearing your monologue about Kimo and the other guy in Colbert.
- 46:48Speaker 10: I started recently watching on a certain network reruns of
- 46:53Speaker 10: Johnny Clawson and it's just fantastic. I'm watching Rickles last night.
- 46:58Speaker 10: I'm watching Charles Groden. That was entertainment.
- 47:01Speaker 1: Yeah, it's every night like eleven to twelve. Is it
- 47:04Speaker 1: Antenna TV or one of those?
- 47:06Speaker 10: That's correct, its Antenna TV. I was just curious more
- 47:09Speaker 10: if you would know. I mean, I don't think comparing
- 47:12Speaker 10: the current late night shows to Guttville display of course,
- 47:16Speaker 10: Guttbell comes on at ten. These other guys come on,
- 47:19Speaker 10: I guess at eleven thirty. I've never watched either one
- 47:21Speaker 10: of those shows, but the Antenna TV Carson reruns are
- 47:24Speaker 10: on at eleven. I'm just curious to know if what
- 47:29Speaker 10: the audience is for that. Of course it's cable and
- 47:31Speaker 10: it's not Yeah.
- 47:32Speaker 1: It's Antenna TV, so it's it gets a pretty good audience.
- 47:34Speaker 1: Those Carson reruns, you can you can tell because they've
- 47:39Speaker 1: been on for about a year. They're still on every
- 47:41Speaker 1: night Monday through Friday. Antenna TV. You can also go
- 47:44Speaker 1: on YouTube and almost every Johnny Carson everything is on YouTube.
- 47:48Speaker 1: In fact, if you want to just watch old TV,
- 47:51Speaker 1: YouTube is phenomenally. You can watch every episode of What's
- 47:53Speaker 1: My Line or The Match Game or anything anything that
- 47:56Speaker 1: was ever on television, The Dean Martin Show, Johnny Carson,
- 47:59Speaker 1: it's all on YouTube and you can watch it anytime
- 48:03Speaker 1: you want. Uh. And Gutfeld is a good show. You
- 48:05Speaker 1: know Gutfeld always I always try to catch that opening
- 48:09Speaker 1: monologue and it's it's like Carson, it's both say, he
- 48:11Speaker 1: goes after both sides. And Jimmy Fayla probably has the
- 48:14Speaker 1: best late night show Saturday nights at ten, and that monologue,
- 48:18Speaker 1: that's the closest thing you'll get to Carson in TV today.
- 48:22Speaker 1: Let's go to Tom in Point Pleasant, Tom, how you
- 48:25Speaker 1: doing good?
- 48:29Speaker 9: I'm just cool to tell you that I want Hue
- 48:31Speaker 9: Steeler the other night, what you did?
- 48:33Speaker 1: What I wanted him?
- 48:36Speaker 13: Staler?
- 48:37Speaker 1: You watch? Does anybody understand what he's saying? What did
- 48:41Speaker 1: you watch? Jimmy, Oh, Jimmy Fayler?
- 48:44Speaker 9: Okay, he's terrible.
- 48:49Speaker 1: Would you get speech lessons from Joe Biden?
- 48:53Speaker 9: You keep saying how great, how great he was.
- 48:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think it's a shit. It's not a
- 48:57Speaker 1: show for you, it's for normal people. But anyway, thanks
- 49:00Speaker 1: for calling. Let's go to Vincent in Brooklyn. Vincent, how
- 49:04Speaker 1: you doing good morning? Mark?
- 49:06Speaker 13: I'm okay, you got me crack it up? Mark, talk
- 49:09Speaker 13: about dumb and dubbing. These two stupid terrorists who threw
- 49:14Speaker 13: a bomb at the police near Grays Team Mansion, talk
- 49:19Speaker 13: about the easiest way to wind up in federal prison.
- 49:23Speaker 13: First off, throw a bomb at the cops and then
- 49:26Speaker 13: secondly crossed the state line from Pennsylvania into New York
- 49:32Speaker 13: to do it. I mean, these kids shouldn't even hire
- 49:36Speaker 13: a lawyer. They just shift fess up because they're gonna
- 49:41Speaker 13: be and they even spoke about their intentions. They're gonna
- 49:44Speaker 13: go away for twenty to twenty five years.
- 49:47Speaker 1: That's a good point. In fact, the cops had body
- 49:49Speaker 1: camps and Susie rest of kids. The kids kept talking
- 49:52Speaker 1: and you don't talk.
- 49:53Speaker 13: What a friend of mine once said, the only fish,
- 49:58Speaker 13: and he meant to sit in literal sense the figurative sense,
- 50:03Speaker 13: the only fish who get caught are the ones who
- 50:06Speaker 13: open their mouth. Mark, you had a great idea of
- 50:11Speaker 13: many times I heard you say it. Now Mandami, because
- 50:14Speaker 13: they're pressed for east, pressed for cash, wants to everybody
- 50:18Speaker 13: has to have a permit to pocket car in the street.
- 50:22Speaker 13: That's his latest scam. Mark, as I heard you say,
- 50:26Speaker 13: why not all these electric bicycles, these motorized motorcycles and
- 50:33Speaker 13: even some of these city bikes that you have to
- 50:36Speaker 13: have a minimum amount of insurance. You have to have
- 50:40Speaker 13: a registration, and you have to have like a plate.
- 50:44Speaker 13: Remember when you were kids, on the back of the bicycle,
- 50:47Speaker 13: underneath the seat, they'd have a vanity plate. You'd go
- 50:51Speaker 13: get them made up and where of at the hardware
- 50:54Speaker 13: store they sold these that with your name on a
- 50:56Speaker 13: Jimmy or whatever your name was. But that's addition to
- 51:00Speaker 13: to raise money make these people have to get minimum
- 51:05Speaker 13: insurance registration, especially for the motorized ones. And now City
- 51:12Speaker 13: Bike has electric motorized bicycles. There should be an extra
- 51:18Speaker 13: feed charge that when these people pull out one of
- 51:22Speaker 13: these motorized bikes, that there's an extra feed charge for
- 51:26Speaker 13: some kind of insurance, because if you get hit with
- 51:29Speaker 13: that one of these bikes, you're in trouble.
- 51:31Speaker 1: Mark.
- 51:32Speaker 13: Yes, And these bicycle lanes are a bunch of bs,
- 51:36Speaker 13: because yesterday I was out and about shopping and these
- 51:41Speaker 13: bicycle lanes are supposed to supposed to go with the traffic.
- 51:44Speaker 13: They're going every which way in these bicycle lanes. They're
- 51:47Speaker 13: not following the traffic laws.
- 51:49Speaker 1: Vincent, excellent point, excellent call. Thanks for calling these absolutely right.
- 51:54Speaker 1: All these revenue schemes, congestion pricing. Now, I want to
- 51:57Speaker 1: charge for every parking space in the here. He's right
- 52:01Speaker 1: all over the place, there's nothing but bikes, electric bikes, scooters.
- 52:05Speaker 1: Start charging them, make them all get licenses, charge for
- 52:09Speaker 1: the license, yearly renewal fee, registration, yearly renewal fee. Start
- 52:14Speaker 1: giving them tickets. You know that giving out those tickets
- 52:18Speaker 1: big source of revenue. With those bikes, you'd be giving
- 52:21Speaker 1: out a billion tickets a day. They're always on the sidewalk,
- 52:25Speaker 1: changing lanes, illegally going through red lights. Start ticketing them,
- 52:29Speaker 1: you'd make a fortune, you race all the revenue you need.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Not to mention, you'd be forcing them to start to
- 52:36Speaker 1: ride around in a more orderly way and not go
- 52:38Speaker 1: running over everybody. Perfect, good point, Vincent, Thanks for calling. Hey.
- 52:43Speaker 1: When we come back, Bill O'Reilly will be with us.
- 52:46Speaker 1: Got a new Uh, we're talking about everybody moving on YouTube.
- 52:50Speaker 1: There's another new trend starting.
- 52:52Speaker 9: Uh.
- 52:52Speaker 1: We'll get to that with him in a moment on
- 52:55Speaker 1: seven to ten. Wor Mark Simon deliveryviews.
- 53:03Speaker 8: Line.
- 53:04Speaker 1: Well, Bill O'Reilly number one TV anchor for decades, number
- 53:07Speaker 1: one best selling author. You can watch his TV show,
- 53:12Speaker 1: get his message of the day, the columns everything at
- 53:14Speaker 1: Bill O'Reilly dot com. Also make sure you watch his
- 53:18Speaker 1: YouTube channel. Great stuff there. And he's got a new
- 53:20Speaker 1: venture we'll talk about in a second. Bill O'Reilly, how
- 53:23Speaker 1: you doing?
- 53:24Speaker 8: You know I'm busy like you never ends, right, the
- 53:29Speaker 8: cycle never ends.
- 53:30Speaker 1: I know what you keep adding stuff? Now, you've got
- 53:31Speaker 1: a new podcast. Tell us about this.
- 53:35Speaker 8: Yeah, we're calling it. We'll do it live. Basically that
- 53:40Speaker 8: comes from a phrase I said when I was twelve
- 53:42Speaker 8: years old on television. Yeah, but you know that you
- 53:45Speaker 8: have bombs. Everybody remembers that the missing story behind it.
- 53:52Speaker 8: I was anchoring Inside Edition and the technical people could
- 53:58Speaker 8: not get the the stuff to work, so we usually
- 54:05Speaker 8: taped our leads and I just exploded because I was
- 54:08Speaker 8: sitting there for like a half an hour and they
- 54:10Speaker 8: were just screwing up one after another. So I said,
- 54:13Speaker 8: I do it live, and you know, if you have
- 54:15Speaker 8: bombs data. They recruited that and somebody sold it to
- 54:22Speaker 8: a website for pretty big money. I understand, really, and
- 54:27Speaker 8: that's how it got out into the public. So of
- 54:30Speaker 8: course we try to use all of that stuff to
- 54:32Speaker 8: our advantage. So my staff, younger people say let's call
- 54:37Speaker 8: a new podcast. We'll do it live. I didn't want
- 54:41Speaker 8: to do that, you know, they insisted. So podcast every Thursday,
- 54:48Speaker 8: and we kick it off this week with Rob Schneider.
- 54:52Speaker 8: It was very good, the SNL guy, and you know
- 54:58Speaker 8: he's in only Adam stand Movies and he's a Trump
- 55:01Speaker 8: guy and he's played a big price for it. So
- 55:05Speaker 8: that's our first one coming up on Thursday. Thursday.
- 55:08Speaker 1: Let me just say this about we'll do it live
- 55:10Speaker 1: every TV host I've ever known, every TV studio I've
- 55:13Speaker 1: ever been in, there's always a moment where the control
- 55:16Speaker 1: room screws up and he yells like that at the
- 55:18Speaker 1: control That's every host ever in the history of television.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Can you, of course, anybody that.
- 55:23Speaker 9: Didn't do that.
- 55:25Speaker 5: Right?
- 55:26Speaker 8: And when you're working as intensely as we have to work,
- 55:31Speaker 8: you're included in this simone. Yeah, you know, And and
- 55:34Speaker 8: somebody just continues to screw up time after time after time,
- 55:38Speaker 8: you lose patience. Unless you're a robot. I don't care.
- 55:43Speaker 8: I don't regret doing it, you know. But the mercenary aspect,
- 55:47Speaker 8: although yeah, we'll get some money for this, that's a
- 55:50Speaker 8: little that's a little tortury.
- 55:52Speaker 1: I think I can vouch. It's every TV host ever
- 55:54Speaker 1: and every radio host has done that. It's common. So
- 55:58Speaker 1: where where do we go to watch this podcast?
- 56:01Speaker 8: It's on bill O'Reilly dot com and in all of
- 56:04Speaker 8: our ansleres, YouTube everywhere, but bill O'Reilly dot coms where
- 56:10Speaker 8: we live, and people just punch that up very easy.
- 56:15Speaker 8: Shows you where the notes ofpin news is shows you
- 56:17Speaker 8: where the podcast is shows you where the columns are
- 56:20Speaker 8: very easy one stop shopping.
- 56:22Speaker 1: All right, Well, the first podcast, the first episode comes
- 56:24Speaker 1: out Thursday. Hey, also, you got this YouTube channel? Now
- 56:28Speaker 1: I'm reading that. Phil Rosenthal, who's got a big, big
- 56:31Speaker 1: hit on Netflix for years, big Netflix show is moving
- 56:35Speaker 1: to YouTube next year. What is it with this YouTube?
- 56:38Speaker 1: Everybody wants to be there.
- 56:40Speaker 8: Because it's easy for younger people to access it. So
- 56:44Speaker 8: older people they don't know. But if you're under fifty,
- 56:49Speaker 8: chances are you're not watching linear TV at all. Yeah,
- 56:54Speaker 8: and so your entertainment then comes from YouTube, where you
- 56:58Speaker 8: can get music, you can get movie, you can get shows,
- 57:01Speaker 8: you can get whatever you want. And that surge and
- 57:04Speaker 8: it's a worldwide thing. It's not just national. So I
- 57:08Speaker 8: get letters in Thailand and Sri Lanka and South Africa,
- 57:12Speaker 8: you know, all these places because there's no boundary to it,
- 57:16Speaker 8: and the audience is enormous. So we get millions of hits,
- 57:23Speaker 8: which means millions of people come in to watch certain
- 57:26Speaker 8: things that we post on YouTube, and then we can
- 57:29Speaker 8: sell those as far as advertising is concerned, because the
- 57:33Speaker 8: younger people are watching that and that's who the advertisers
- 57:36Speaker 8: want to reach. So it's extremely lucrative and it cuts
- 57:39Speaker 8: out the corporations, so they can't control it anymore, and
- 57:44Speaker 8: it goes right into the entrepreneurs. The danger on that
- 57:49Speaker 8: is there isn't any editing, and people do irresponsible things
- 57:53Speaker 8: on YouTube to try to make money. So that's a danger.
- 57:57Speaker 8: But the good news is that the freedom of expression
- 58:00Speaker 8: has expanded by one thousandfold since YouTube is dominating.
- 58:06Speaker 1: Wow. Well watch Bill O'Reilly YouTube, great channel. Let me
- 58:10Speaker 1: ask you about the war. I'm Hakeem Jeffries, Chuck Schumer.
- 58:13Speaker 1: They keep talking about the endless war. Trump promised, no
- 58:17Speaker 1: endless war. It's day eleven. What endless war? It's one
- 58:20Speaker 1: week and a half.
- 58:22Speaker 8: Sure, But the Democratic Party is doing what it did
- 58:24Speaker 8: in Vietnam. It's setting itself up as the dissent for
- 58:30Speaker 8: any kind of military action, and I'm not sure that
- 58:36Speaker 8: is a good move right now. So it's risky and
- 58:39Speaker 8: a part of President Trump, no doubt. And if the
- 58:42Speaker 8: Iran thing does not work out, then you're gonna have
- 58:45Speaker 8: our time the Republicans are in November. But if it
- 58:48Speaker 8: does work out and those mullas are tossed and you
- 58:53Speaker 8: get a more moderate government, then the Democratic Party once
- 58:56Speaker 8: again is going to be on wrong side of the
- 58:58Speaker 8: issue once again. I mean they don't want voter IDs,
- 59:03Speaker 8: they want trans people playing against women on the field.
- 59:07Speaker 8: I mean, how many how many mistakes you're gonna make.
- 59:10Speaker 8: So rather than being neutral on it and saying, okay,
- 59:16Speaker 8: we understand the threat Iran poses the world. Radical elements
- 59:21Speaker 8: of the Democratic Party and the leadership as well, they go, well,
- 59:27Speaker 8: we don't really want to take out the moms. We're
- 59:31Speaker 8: content in letting them have a nuclear weapon. That's insane.
- 59:36Speaker 8: So there's big risk political risk on both sides here.
- 59:42Speaker 1: Yeah, but when you would just think if we came
- 59:46Speaker 1: back a month and a half from now, this'll all
- 59:48Speaker 1: be wrapped up.
- 59:51Speaker 8: So but you just don't know because it's a police
- 59:55Speaker 8: state in Iran. It's not a cube. But Cuba is
- 59:58Speaker 8: going to fold any day now, has to. They can't
- 1:00:02Speaker 8: feed their people, all right. Ra's still got that police
- 1:00:06Speaker 8: state intact. So you saw these revolutionary Guide guys going
- 1:00:10Speaker 8: out and killing you. I mean, the estimate is thirty
- 1:00:13Speaker 8: thousand protesters have been killed in the last month or
- 1:00:17Speaker 8: so in Iran. I mean, people are fighting. They don't
- 1:00:19Speaker 8: want to get a bullet in the head, and that
- 1:00:22Speaker 8: is very difficult to dislodge from the air and from
- 1:00:27Speaker 8: the sea. But Americans are not going to support ground
- 1:00:32Speaker 8: troops in Iran. They will not, and that would be
- 1:00:35Speaker 8: the end of the Trump administration if he did that.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: Yeah, go back to what you said. Cuba is going
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: to fall at any you really.
- 1:00:43Speaker 8: Oh yeah. And the way that's going to come out
- 1:00:46Speaker 8: is they're going to make it a deal or a
- 1:00:49Speaker 8: treaty with the United States, whereby they are going to
- 1:00:55Speaker 8: repudiate their communists approach, going to open up the free marketplace,
- 1:01:03Speaker 8: and the USA will help them quote unquote rebuild their economy.
- 1:01:08Speaker 8: And it'll pretty much be Venezuela. Washington will dictate to
- 1:01:12Speaker 8: Havana what they're gonna do, and that that's the model,
- 1:01:17Speaker 8: and I think that's going to happen.
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: Wow, now Cuba could make a fortune. It's a beautiful
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: Caribbean paradise.
- 1:01:24Speaker 13: Oh, it's incredible.
- 1:01:26Speaker 8: I was there a few years ago at Varadaro Beach,
- 1:01:29Speaker 8: which is about eight miles outside of Havana, one of
- 1:01:33Speaker 8: the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. The hotel was
- 1:01:37Speaker 8: a disaster. They didn't even have towels. They didn't have towels.
- 1:01:43Speaker 13: So look at the.
- 1:01:44Speaker 8: Other Well, how is it it dry off here?
- 1:01:47Speaker 13: Oh?
- 1:01:48Speaker 8: But the property was unbelievable, and the big money in
- 1:01:55Speaker 8: Dade County or Cuban is going to go right back
- 1:01:59Speaker 8: into Cuba boom wow. And that place is going to
- 1:02:03Speaker 8: be in five years an unbelievable destination and they'll have gambling.
- 1:02:09Speaker 8: It'll be just like it was before Castro took over
- 1:02:13Speaker 8: in nineteen fifty nine, with the exception of it's not
- 1:02:16Speaker 8: going to be run by gangsters. You know, the Godfather
- 1:02:19Speaker 8: too is true if you watch that movie. I mean,
- 1:02:22Speaker 8: gangsters were controlling the Baptista government. But now when you
- 1:02:27Speaker 8: could probably make the case that d C full of
- 1:02:31Speaker 8: gangsters too, but the American government we'll be calling the
- 1:02:34Speaker 8: shots in Nevana.
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: Wow, it'd be great to bring back Mayer Lansky and
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: those guys. And haven't got the Rivet.
- 1:02:41Speaker 8: Yeah, the Lanski Hotel a boutique experience.
- 1:02:47Speaker 1: Well that's great news. Well, everybody watch Bill O'Reilly, go
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: to YouTube, you watch this channel there. Make sure you
- 1:02:54Speaker 1: go to Bill O'Reilly dot com and get the TV
- 1:02:56Speaker 1: show the Message of the Day, And once again, Thursday,
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: when does it come out Thursday? The new podcast.
- 1:03:04Speaker 8: Yeah, we dropped probably about six o'clock or something like that,
- 1:03:09Speaker 8: so everybody will be amused. It's it's it's different. You know,
- 1:03:12Speaker 8: most podcasts moona a guy sitting around and sweatshirts, smoking pot.
- 1:03:17Speaker 8: You know, that's what they do. It's somebody's garage. That's
- 1:03:20Speaker 8: not what we do. This is a real upscale, a
- 1:03:23Speaker 8: good information flow, and Schneider really does a nice job
- 1:03:27Speaker 8: with it. And then the following a week from Thursday,
- 1:03:31Speaker 8: we got Steve Shirrippa. Oh we love him.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: Well, all right, everybody, everybody watched the new podcast called
