The economy sucks. It's awful unless you have Trump at the end of your name. Looks real good for them. by the way, their family net worth is up $3 billion since they took office. Yeah, we're being looted, not governed. Brock Anelis is with me now. Brock. The economy is getting worse. The layoff, the numbers are huge. Brock Ganeles (00:36.738) The announced layoffs by some of our biggest companies are just massive. had Oracle layoff 30,000 people with a 6 a.m. email. Real touchy feely there, And the way they handled that one. But just today, seeing on the news meta, our friends at Facebook are gonna let go 10,000 people. I mean, 10 % of the workforce, which might be more than 10,000 people, maybe 20,000. Microsoft is offering buyouts to 7 % of their employees. That's got to be another really big number. That's got to be 14, 15,000 people. You know, those are just the headline stories today, just in the tech industry, which, by the way, has been the driver of the economy for the last five years. So AI has been the big driver, but Metta is cutting 10 % of its workforce because of AI. MARK HAYES (01:11.95) Okay. MARK HAYES (01:19.244) Right. MARK HAYES (01:25.57) Right. Brock Ganeles (01:33.584) because AI replaces people. So this is disastrous. We're not going to see these unemployment numbers because Trump's government is not going to allow us to. By the way, his labor secretary just got fired. So now they'll just say there's no people to even send out the releases. So we're not going to learn about this. We're not going to see it in the reports. We're just going to know it's happening. These happen to be white collar jobs. These are high paying jobs. MARK HAYES (01:34.114) Right. You're telling you're telling me he's been making 300 million a month since he took over office and Trump two. he learned one thing in the four years he wasn't in office. And that's because he didn't loot the treasury enough. He didn't exploit the job quite enough. What does black America got saying about what's going on in the economy? MARK HAYES (02:44.832) Right. MARK HAYES (03:02.189) Right. MARK HAYES (03:06.83) Oh, nothing, we're getting hammered. We got nothing to say about the economy. Especially when it comes to government contracts. Because the truth is, this is a revolt report, it says black businesses are getting just 1.2 % of federal contract dollars. 1.2 % compared to our white brethren getting 93.6%. So out of the 774 billion, black-owned firms got about $9.3 billion. Now, why is that substantial? Well, first of all, it's just unbelievable. mean, with 13 % of the population, you figure it should be 13 % higher. 48 % of black-owned businesses are owned by black women. Right. And when you look at the numbers, 54 % lost between 100K and 500K the last year alone. Okay. And 82 % reported moderate to substantial revenue declines tied to lost contracts. So, I mean, 22 % saw revenue drop by more than half. So those are jobs that are cut. Right. That's, that's, you know, income that's not made, that's not helping the wheel go round in our community, of course, which the dollar doesn't even circulate once in our community. Soon as it comes in, it goes out. Unlike your community where it never leaves. The Hispanic community, I believe it circles seven times, I believe, five to seven times. But we are the only community who immediately gets the dollar out of there. you know, again, Black Maga makes no sense, right? Because they're destroying us, right? Donald Trump doesn't want African-American businesses to prosper, not under his regime, you know, because the lie is that Black businesses are getting special treatment. But the truth is, you know, they're getting 1.2 % of federal contract dollars. Like, make it make sense. Brock Ganeles (05:33.254) Project 2025, Doji, The anti-DEI movement, were like these reverse racism, white people are oppressed, white people are being afflicted, everything's a giveaway to the others. And those are pretty stark numbers. 1.2%, government's a great customer to have. For only 1.2 % to go to black owned businesses is dramatic. MARK HAYES (05:33.258) I mean. Boom. home. If they kept those programs in place they got lumped in as black owned businesses carved out of any government contracts so it's using the purse using our tax dollars in the end to implement racist policies. Because the gas prices are $4 down here in Georgia. Well, you voted for him. You wanted it. He told you he was going to reduce the cost of everything. Not us, right? He told you he was going to lower the price of eggs, lower the price of gas, no new wars. He raised the price on everything and earned himself 300 million a month. Two groups of people got into an argument, of course, in the food court with access to high capacity weaponry. And of course, you know, somebody dies. right, because we, gun rights out, supersede, you know, children's rights, women's rights, and, you know, the right for an individual to walk around society peacefully and not get hit by a stray bullet.
